Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hi there. My name is Chris Fair.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Welcome to Vanity Fair, where today I am wildly excited,
- 0:13Speaker 2: almost feral, if you will to talk about Traders season four.
- 0:18Speaker 2: It's a mega recap of episodes one to five. It's
- 0:21Speaker 2: the first two drops with my friend Tess Barker, who
- 0:24Speaker 2: also is a prolific podcast and pop culture junkie. Who
- 0:31Speaker 2: I oh, I realized who I honestly like, I know,
- 0:36Speaker 2: we have a lot in common, Like we went to
- 0:37Speaker 2: the same college, and we both love Britney Spears, but
- 0:42Speaker 2: you too, like a you know, I mean, God, bless you.
- 0:44Speaker 2: We both have like so much, and we both love females,
- 0:47Speaker 2: and we both love talking, and we both are like
- 0:49Speaker 2: adorable and so uh. You know, it's been so lovely
- 0:53Speaker 2: knowing you for so long, and I'm so excited that
- 0:55Speaker 2: you are into Traders because like, getting to talk to
- 0:57Speaker 2: you is a fucking joy, and about out this show
- 1:00Speaker 2: with someone like you is like otherworldly. Hi.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I feel the exact same way when you invited me
- 1:05Speaker 3: to come on and was like, I mean, duh, I
- 1:07Speaker 3: feel like you're a person that like the moment that
- 1:10Speaker 3: we met, it was just kind of like, oh, yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 3: of course we should be friends. Yeah, like duh, yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 3: I think it was like, yeah, we met and then
- 1:18Speaker 3: I was like, oh, you also went to my college.
- 1:21Speaker 3: I was like, and I think I just move my
- 1:23Speaker 3: mind a little bit because I was like, why don't
- 1:24Speaker 3: I know you, like you know, I was like right, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 3: and like no, I mean it sounds funny to say,
- 1:30Speaker 3: but like no one went to m Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yeah, no one that works or does anything remotely in
- 1:36Speaker 2: the industry that like, well, I mean I had to
- 1:37Speaker 2: say that there.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Is some people.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean Linda Cardelini, Linna Cardolini and Chris Sullivan.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And Colin Hanks, Jen Candy come on in us us US.
- 1:58Speaker 3: I mean Goldiehunt's producing part is the head of the
- 2:00Speaker 3: film department. We're just stilling on you to people.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Not yeah, I might, Oh it must be nice. Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: it's so fun.
- 2:08Speaker 3: It's so fun to talk about college, which is only
- 2:10Speaker 3: five years ago. And I still have my old textbooks.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I still have old Alpha Fie. Oh. I definitely have
- 2:16Speaker 3: old textbooks for sure, like definitely old plays. I still
- 2:19Speaker 3: have like old Alpha fe shirts. That's amazing, is it?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Do you sleep in them?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Like?
- 2:26Speaker 1: Do you wear them?
- 2:27Speaker 4: You know?
- 2:28Speaker 3: When?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Do I wear them? It's a good question, Like I
- 2:30Speaker 1: think that yeah, Like I don't know.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Maybe when I'm like, oh no, I have to run
- 2:33Speaker 2: outside and I've been naked all day and like I
- 2:35Speaker 2: need a quick shirt, you know, I don't want, I
- 2:37Speaker 2: don't care, Like it's that kind of thing, and they
- 2:39Speaker 2: have you know, I should probably get rid of them.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But there's also something that's like as long as they exist,
- 2:42Speaker 2: like I'm still.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, yeah, I still have them, so they're yeah, yeah,
- 2:49Speaker 3: yeah anyway, but I I'm so excited you do a
- 2:54Speaker 3: pop You do a.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Lot of popcasts, sorry podcasts, but like you're doing a
- 2:59Speaker 5: pop a pop culture podcast that's like about pop culture
- 3:03Speaker 5: mysteries and like I feel like there's so many weird
- 3:07Speaker 5: mysteries and conspiracies, like alone for Brittany, have you talked
- 3:12Speaker 5: about whether she's like that, you know, one of the
- 3:15Speaker 5: one of the like government robots that like you know,
- 3:20Speaker 5: we died and stuff like that and like came back
- 3:22Speaker 5: to life like them.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't, Oh, you know, people think that she's like
- 3:28Speaker 2: you know, there's like all these sex robots that are conspiracies.
- 3:31Speaker 1: It's m t MK ultra. Have you heard of mk ultra. Oh,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I've heard of m k ultra. Of course. People people
- 3:36Speaker 1: think that Britney's a mk ultra. Oh I am familiar
- 3:39Speaker 1: with that. Yeah, y ya ya of course. Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 3: When I was like really deep into the Britney stuff,
- 3:44Speaker 3: I was getting so inundated with so many different mk
- 3:47Speaker 3: ultra adjacent I'm sure theories, which the really weird thing
- 3:51Speaker 3: about that story is like some of the stuff was true.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Like I don't know if you remember, but there was
- 3:56Speaker 3: a while where people on TikTok were like, Britney, if
- 3:58Speaker 3: you need help, wear yellow, and she were yellow the
- 4:01Speaker 3: next day, and I really think that she saw that
- 4:03Speaker 3: and wore yellow for that reason, which at the time
- 4:05Speaker 3: even I was like, you guys, we're trying to do
- 4:08Speaker 3: serious reporting here, and it was like, oh no, she
- 4:10Speaker 3: really was reaching out which a yellow wet seal shirt.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah how yeah you I mean, yeah, you ushered in
- 4:17Speaker 2: the Free Britney movement.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I don't have to tell you, like that's just like
- 4:21Speaker 3: it's for the rest of my life.
- 4:23Speaker 2: It's like, I mean, it's like I just said, it's
- 4:27Speaker 2: a transcendental thing, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm so happy for you. Thank you.
- 4:32Speaker 3: You are actually the guest on the episode. I don't
- 4:36Speaker 3: know if you know this or remember this, but you
- 4:38Speaker 3: were the guest on the episode when Britney's Grim literally
- 4:41Speaker 3: went from being a.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Podcast to a true crime podcast.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Like it was your episode because I had just come
- 4:47Speaker 3: back from the courthouse that day and I like ate
- 4:50Speaker 3: lunch and then me and Babbs recorded with you, and
- 4:52Speaker 3: I was like, you guys, and that was literally the
- 4:55Speaker 3: that's the.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Turning point of the show. Was the episode you were on.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that just I don't mean to tell you, Like
- 5:02Speaker 2: my entire organs are like smiling. I don't have to
- 5:04Speaker 2: tell you. That's amazing. Thank you so much, God blessed.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I can't believe. I can't believe this life. But that's yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I wish everyone the best and you know, God, yeah,
- 5:16Speaker 2: we're just this is the journey of being part of
- 5:19Speaker 2: this world and being part of the zeidageist and like,
- 5:21Speaker 2: you know, feeling empathy for people. And I think there's
- 5:26Speaker 2: something a lot, like a lot about watching reality shows
- 5:29Speaker 2: and feeling empathy for people, like because you know, like
- 5:33Speaker 2: loving Brittany is a loving Brittany's character on some like
- 5:36Speaker 2: a scripted character, like you know, like it. It's like
- 5:38Speaker 2: there is something to feeling empathy for people in their
- 5:41Speaker 2: stories or whatnot. And and so I think that reality shows
- 5:44Speaker 2: are a nice kind of bridge for that.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Besides Traders. Well, do you watch I'm a Bravo Giry
- 5:50Speaker 1: Big Time?
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm Housewives, Potomac, Salt Lake, Beverly Hills. I
- 5:55Speaker 3: haven't been as consistent with the New New York, but
- 5:57Speaker 3: I am a New York girly blow deck. I've sometimes
- 6:01Speaker 3: fucked with Summer House but also a bachelor girlie. I'd
- 6:05Speaker 3: say those are my main but I'll mess with ninety
- 6:08Speaker 3: Day Fiance absolutely.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Are you watching the two seasons that happened the
- 6:12Speaker 2: tow and the Before the ninety Days right now?
- 6:13Speaker 3: No?
- 6:14Speaker 1: But should I? I mean, yeah, it's Before the ninety
- 6:17Speaker 1: Days is so good?
- 6:20Speaker 2: Like it because both episodes, both seasons that are happening
- 6:23Speaker 2: right now, and one's about to end. And maybe there
- 6:25Speaker 2: are some like you know, fraudy people here and there,
- 6:27Speaker 2: but they're all mostly new people, so like, and Jenny
- 6:31Speaker 2: and Submitter are old but like they're you know, great,
- 6:33Speaker 2: but like, since there's new people, there's just.
- 6:36Speaker 1: So much Oh, shit, oh no moments.
- 6:41Speaker 3: You know, that's refreshing because it's always on these really
- 6:46Speaker 3: established shows. I think sometimes the problem is you get
- 6:49Speaker 3: cast members who are trying to play to the show
- 6:52Speaker 3: and trying to play a character. So when you get
- 6:53Speaker 3: like a bunch of freshies who really are getting to
- 6:56Speaker 3: experience this in a new way, I feel like it's
- 6:57Speaker 3: so exciting for us as the viewer.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the whole point of the show.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Like it's not. I mean, they came out with Happia
- 7:04Speaker 2: or after you know, seasons afterward, but no one had
- 7:06Speaker 2: signed up for that, Like people really wanted the experiment
- 7:10Speaker 2: of bringing someone from a different culture and country over
- 7:14Speaker 2: to America out or you know, and watch a fish
- 7:17Speaker 2: out of water and people have to come together and
- 7:19Speaker 2: find love or not. And yes there are some cons
- 7:21Speaker 2: and you know whatnot. I just that's when it is
- 7:24Speaker 2: really great. And then anything else that like you know,
- 7:29Speaker 2: follows one couple too long into their like child their children,
- 7:32Speaker 2: and it's like it's just oh my god, God, bless it.
- 7:34Speaker 2: That's now we're moved on. It's a completely different show now,
- 7:36Speaker 2: you know, I don't know, make something else.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I don't want it. No, totally, and the children I
- 7:40Speaker 1: never get.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I'm also full disclosure, my dad is married to a
- 7:44Speaker 3: woman who is my age, so this is probably part
- 7:46Speaker 3: of this. But like when they talk to the children
- 7:49Speaker 3: as I'm talking and like that's the whole thing. But
- 7:51Speaker 3: when they talk to the children, I don't like it,
- 7:54Speaker 3: Like I feel bad when that's when like the you know,
- 7:56Speaker 3: when you're watching a reality show and you really have
- 7:58Speaker 3: to confront the ethics of what you're watching. The kids
- 8:01Speaker 3: on ninety day is what drives that home for me.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Test don't you ever watch Love after lock Up? Don't
- 8:09Speaker 3: you ever want if you think, oh my god, I
- 8:12Speaker 3: know what you're talking about.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Because because look or lock Up is like a completely
- 8:17Speaker 2: different level of this kind of show and there's kids
- 8:20Speaker 2: on it, and you're just like, oh, I no, you know.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's it's hard, I know, but watchable. It's good TV.
- 8:29Speaker 1: That's the thing.
- 8:30Speaker 3: We have to just leave our ethics at the door
- 8:32Speaker 3: in order to enjoy this programming. Yeah, but it's all
- 8:39Speaker 3: art is like that, right, Like we nobody wants to
- 8:41Speaker 3: know how the sausage gets made on a feature film
- 8:43Speaker 3: or show like please, it's at least on a reality show.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Some of it is laid bare.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and even like, even if the reality part is
- 8:53Speaker 2: fake and you know it's fake, like it feels good
- 8:56Speaker 2: to kind of know that it's fake, because then everything
- 8:58Speaker 2: is whatever. So having said that, we actually should get
- 9:04Speaker 2: into Treador season four, episodes one through five. I'm excited
- 9:08Speaker 2: to get into it. So obviously as we start, this
- 9:12Speaker 2: is the cast. It's Lisa Renna, It's Mama Kelse, It's
- 9:17Speaker 2: Tiffany from Big Brother's Stephen Coletti from the Hills, Tara,
- 9:22Speaker 2: it's Johnny Weir, it's this hot guy named Rob Hot.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Okay, okay, first of all, having.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Said up the one that we saw, you know Lisa,
- 9:32Speaker 2: you know Mama Kelsey. Did you know Tiffany? Did you
- 9:34Speaker 2: watch Big Brother?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I did? Not a Big Brother person?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, okay you or did I? I? Well, sorry, that's
- 9:39Speaker 2: a big lie. I I am a Big Brother person.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I've watched seasons on and off, and I did watch
- 9:42Speaker 2: Tiffany seasons, so I knew she was I was so
- 9:44Speaker 2: happy to watch her get vindicated.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Stephen from the Hills, did you watch that The Hills? Yeah?
- 9:51Speaker 3: I watched The Hills. Yeah?
- 9:55Speaker 2: No, is he from Laguna Beach or the Hills. Maybe
- 9:57Speaker 2: it's Laguna Beach. I get those confused a lot.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Both they came out at the same time and they
- 10:01Speaker 3: have the exact same aesthetic, like both both graphically and people.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Why so he's from We'll say the Laguna Hills. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 10:11Speaker 1: How do you look at it?
- 10:12Speaker 2: And there is that's so funny, that's such a good sketch.
- 10:14Speaker 2: We should write it. Terre Lipinski and Johnny Weir, who
- 10:18Speaker 2: know like anyone does? To me, I'll just be honest,
- 10:22Speaker 2: A everyone knows them. And not only does everyone know them,
- 10:27Speaker 2: I feel like everyone knows their fucking bff Like they
- 10:31Speaker 2: host I know, they host the fucking Olympic figure skating
- 10:37Speaker 2: prime time show together and have been doing it for
- 10:41Speaker 2: the past forty five years. They're like, you know Stephanie
- 10:44Speaker 2: you Banks and Bob Edwards or some one of those,
- 10:46Speaker 2: Like yeah, they are like where like if they if
- 10:49Speaker 2: Stephanie you Banks and Bob bad Wards had to suddenly
- 10:52Speaker 2: pretend they didn't know each other, you'd be like, you
- 10:54Speaker 2: bitches have seen each other every year for the past
- 10:56Speaker 2: seventy nine years, Like you obviously know each other.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Right, like nine million percent? And even if we can
- 11:02Speaker 3: like put table that for a moment. Are we seriously
- 11:05Speaker 3: to believe that the two figure skaters earned friends like
- 11:09Speaker 3: Dori's supposed to believe that the world of Olympic figure
- 11:12Speaker 3: skating is so vast that two figure skating peers are
- 11:17Speaker 3: just acquaintances.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Right, right though?
- 11:22Speaker 2: Right I thought that was asinine, Like I thought it
- 11:25Speaker 2: would have been smarter.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But here's what.
- 11:28Speaker 2: For some reason it's working. No one ever talks about them.
- 11:30Speaker 2: But I thought it'd be a lot smarter if they
- 11:33Speaker 2: had like pretended to have gotten in some fucking big
- 11:36Speaker 2: ass fight or something.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yes, that is absolutely the way to go.
- 11:42Speaker 3: That is because you hang a lit, you hang a
- 11:44Speaker 3: light on it, you address the issue right away, and
- 11:48Speaker 3: then that gives you like a way to get information
- 11:50Speaker 3: because you can quote unquote shit talk that other person
- 11:53Speaker 3: and that they can come around and then you guys
- 11:54Speaker 3: can share information. All of that said, I do think
- 11:58Speaker 3: they're like adorable when they had that moment on the
- 12:01Speaker 3: most I think it's the most recent episode where they're
- 12:03Speaker 3: like I missed you so much and they like hug.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I love you guys, like you
- 12:08Speaker 3: guys are so cute.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Yeah, And also Johnny said the thing that I'm like screaming,
- 12:12Speaker 2: which is Rob is so.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Caught. It's okay, we'll go back. Let me go back
- 12:17Speaker 1: to this thing. Okay, so there's then jump we get
- 12:19Speaker 1: to Rob. Okay, Rob.
- 12:21Speaker 2: First of all, I don't watch leve Alan, do you No.
- 12:24Speaker 1: But I'm gonna get on board this next season.
- 12:26Speaker 3: No, no, I'm like, you know, no shit, I'll start
- 12:29Speaker 3: with the season okay.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Right right, No, I mean Rob, he caught my eye
- 12:33Speaker 1: right away. Uh huh uh huh yeah.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Those dumb tattoos, stupid tattoos, and and honestly, his personality
- 12:46Speaker 3: has been great.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm loving him as a trader.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I love how we interacts with the housewives back there,
- 12:51Speaker 3: and these overalls he wore in the last season that
- 12:54Speaker 3: just felt almost.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Mean to all the women and gay men. It was like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: how dare you? Yeah, I kind of loved it. It's
- 13:02Speaker 1: like it's a I don't know, like it's the trope as.
- 13:05Speaker 2: If like some very hot, young, blobbity blue girl like
- 13:09Speaker 2: you know, wore a short skirt or something that was
- 13:10Speaker 2: trying to flirt. Like he knows what he's doing. I
- 13:12Speaker 2: know he does, Like no shirt like that, Like what
- 13:14Speaker 2: kind of country hick, are you like?
- 13:16Speaker 1: Also? Yeah, he the first episode he said what I
- 13:20Speaker 1: wrote down? He because it's like that.
- 13:22Speaker 2: He's like, oh, I've every girl i've dated said that
- 13:25Speaker 2: I'm hard to read. And the way he said it
- 13:28Speaker 2: was like test deadpan with like dead eyes. And even
- 13:31Speaker 2: then I was like, that's hot. Yeah, like he was hot.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The way he said it, I was like, because I
- 13:37Speaker 2: guess the thing about it is then it made me think, well,
- 13:40Speaker 2: what are you thinking? And like how are you feeling?
- 13:43Speaker 2: And I would die to know? And how do I
- 13:46Speaker 2: find out?
- 13:47Speaker 5: You know?
- 13:48Speaker 3: Right, it's that trap door that you know just leads
- 13:51Speaker 3: to like the coyotes, the roadrunner's trap, but you can't
- 13:54Speaker 3: help but open it, you know, and I know. And
- 13:58Speaker 3: the color of the overalls, it was like they were
- 14:00Speaker 3: so fashionable, the pastel, I.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Know it, I know. So yeah, that's hard but okay.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So then Kristen from Christin from Food and Work, I
- 14:11Speaker 2: love her, That chef Michael Rappaport, who I don't like.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Portia who I love.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Okay, This is rob Ce who I don't know, so
- 14:19Speaker 2: I don't know the Survivor people, I never know them.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Same And then Ron who's a comedian from la what
- 14:25Speaker 2: a shock. I mean, you know I've been I was
- 14:29Speaker 2: shocked for some reason.
- 14:31Speaker 3: No, I've been absolutely floored by Ron being on because like, yeah,
- 14:33Speaker 3: Ron is like in my circle of friends, Like I've
- 14:36Speaker 3: known Ron forever, and I'm loving having him on the show.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Yes, because it cracks my face every time they cut
- 14:42Speaker 1: to him.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I feel like he's so coming from my point of
- 14:46Speaker 3: view because I literally know him, But it's also making
- 14:48Speaker 3: you really protective of him. I don't like how he's
- 14:51Speaker 3: being treated, and it's like hard to watch a guy
- 14:53Speaker 3: who I know was a really sweet guy be accused
- 14:57Speaker 3: of being shady.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, because he's one of the lone you know, and
- 15:00Speaker 2: he's an easy target. But at the same time, because
- 15:03Speaker 2: he's that, he'll they're keeping him around because like it's
- 15:05Speaker 2: very interesting. I completely agree. And one thing about him
- 15:08Speaker 2: is that he as we go on, he like is
- 15:10Speaker 2: not leading with like a funny He's not funny on
- 15:13Speaker 2: the show, you know, like he's not he's not trying
- 15:15Speaker 2: to use humor. He's not wearing you know, his version
- 15:18Speaker 2: of the overalls. You know, he's not trying to like
- 15:20Speaker 2: you know whatever. It's just an interesting thing. He's like
- 15:23Speaker 2: really coming from a completely different angle, very sincere and.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Trying to play the game, like trying.
- 15:30Speaker 2: To play the game assertively, you know, which can come
- 15:32Speaker 2: across you know obviously in many different ways, which is like,
- 15:35Speaker 2: you know, being too aggressive and then you know, having
- 15:37Speaker 2: an agenda and all the things that hate you as
- 15:40Speaker 2: being Trader esque. So yeah, I also love.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Him on the show it as it feels like an everyman.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Exactly exactly, and I think he's like a little bit funny,
- 15:49Speaker 3: but I don't know if there's like a.
- 15:50Speaker 1: You know who's really funny though? Is Renna.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know, here's an opportunity to be funny.
- 15:54Speaker 3: But Renna's finding the moments. I mean she is, Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 3: she is, and so is Camille. Yeah.
- 16:01Speaker 2: So going on Moira, who I also don't know from
- 16:03Speaker 2: Love Island, but oh my god, I'm I have like
- 16:05Speaker 2: literally paused to be like how does she do her roliner?
- 16:08Speaker 2: And can I do her roliner? And like how is
- 16:09Speaker 2: it so sharp? And like how is where DoD? It's
- 16:12Speaker 2: just it's really great.
- 16:14Speaker 3: She's beautiful and like her Irish accent. I'm like, oh
- 16:18Speaker 3: the people in Love Island, I okay, they're very attractive, Okay.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, you know, tinks and tots, you know,
- 16:23Speaker 2: just every time she does it, I'm like, oh, you
- 16:26Speaker 2: know the Traders. He's like, I just like love erotic
- 16:29Speaker 2: as accent, like I love an R you know, like
- 16:32Speaker 2: I don't know what it is like, So basically, and
- 16:37Speaker 2: then as we go on Camille, who I don't know,
- 16:39Speaker 2: but you know because of Bravo, Yam Jam Jam, Yam, yam,
- 16:45Speaker 2: it's it's he then yam.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Spelled whatever's opposite of how we actually see.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's jam jam, but it's spelled. That's what it is.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Why it's confusing to me. Eric, who I don't know. Yeah,
- 16:57Speaker 2: I don't know Eric. I mean he's a musician, musician, Yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 2: I just like, you know, I you know, Monett, who
- 17:03Speaker 2: I do know, of course. And then there is another survivor.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Her name is Natalie. Didn't know her. You know, Mark
- 17:10Speaker 2: ballas I know peripherally from obviously Dancing with the Stars,
- 17:14Speaker 2: Colton obviously the gay bachelor that came out, and Caroline
- 17:20Speaker 2: from she was on Ladies of London now she's on
- 17:23Speaker 2: Real Households of Dubai and then Ian from Big Brother
- 17:27Speaker 2: and Derinda who obviously is coming back from the food Dead.
- 17:30Speaker 1: You know, yes, exactly, exactly, yes.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Me. We mentioned the loners as being like yeah, Ron, Donna,
- 17:38Speaker 2: Michael Appaport, Mark and Eric. But basically it starts with
- 17:44Speaker 2: them like in their lane land Rovers and you know,
- 17:47Speaker 2: like a fire display, and the fire display ttilates everyone.
- 17:51Speaker 1: M h. I love.
- 17:54Speaker 3: That's part of the reason why I love this show
- 17:56Speaker 3: is because I think that I love the immersive production
- 18:00Speaker 3: design and like the way it does like Spook. The
- 18:02Speaker 3: cast members, like you don't get the sense that like
- 18:04Speaker 3: they're putting on it so that they're actually like, you know,
- 18:07Speaker 3: three feet away. There's like irregular world, like you really
- 18:11Speaker 3: feel like they are immersed in this like Murder Mystery
- 18:14Speaker 3: theatrical experience.
- 18:16Speaker 2: You're absolutely right, it's like the first or second year,
- 18:19Speaker 2: like the Haunted hay Ride at like Griffith Park or
- 18:21Speaker 2: something like that, Like they feel like they are like
- 18:23Speaker 2: in yeah, an immersive like fun Oh Sleep No More
- 18:26Speaker 2: or something like that. And on top of that, everyone
- 18:28Speaker 2: has been tasked to look absolutely fucking great at almost
- 18:34Speaker 2: all times. Maybe not when they're doing a challenge, but
- 18:35Speaker 2: like if they're in the castle, head to toe.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Downe one thousand percent with the clear exception of Michael Rappaport,
- 18:43Speaker 3: who keeps showing up in like a Kirkland crewneg.
- 18:46Speaker 2: I I wish that he just truly wasn't even on
- 18:49Speaker 2: the show. I mean, yeah, you know at some point
- 18:51Speaker 2: obviously spoiler alert, you've watched the first five episodes, and
- 18:54Speaker 2: this is why it's a mega compilation. But I waited,
- 18:59Speaker 2: un bated breath for him to be killed, and you know,
- 19:01Speaker 2: as we'll get into this, I thought for sure he
- 19:03Speaker 2: was the secret fucking Trader anyway, So those.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Are the people we get in.
- 19:09Speaker 2: The first thing we do is get a very fun
- 19:11Speaker 2: plot twist, which is that they'll be a a see,
- 19:13Speaker 2: there'll be a secret Trader, and the way it works
- 19:16Speaker 2: is that they'll be the main traders and they'll be
- 19:18Speaker 2: like a lone wolf that gets to choose the the
- 19:26Speaker 2: the menu of people that they can vote off, which
- 19:30Speaker 2: I like.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I like a little twist.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I loved it, and I thought it was a really
- 19:33Speaker 3: smart story producing idea because what it did was it
- 19:38Speaker 3: put us the audience in the point of view of
- 19:41Speaker 3: the cast, right because we didn't know, and it was like, oh,
- 19:44Speaker 3: I can see how you're kind of second guessing everyone.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Everyone's weird looks or everything that everyone is saying, yep, we.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Did you work? It was great.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Yeah, as they do, they get to watch everyone go
- 19:57Speaker 2: up have this procession where they're this little box, know,
- 20:00Speaker 2: and then Alan's like you're it or not you know,
- 20:02Speaker 2: and you just have like a poker face or a
- 20:05Speaker 2: not poker face. Now, I I assume I would fail
- 20:09Speaker 2: miserably with your poker face.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I have it all that I have one. I'm like,
- 20:13Speaker 1: I don't think I have one.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I think that I like and even in the trying
- 20:17Speaker 2: not to show emotion, I would be showing how much
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm trying not to show em you know, like there
- 20:22Speaker 2: is no I'm so extremist, I'm so black, and like
- 20:25Speaker 2: I'm not. I'm just so extreme that I just it's
- 20:27Speaker 2: very hard for me to just be like calm and
- 20:30Speaker 2: cool and collected.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Mm. Do you think you would do well on the
- 20:33Speaker 3: show if you weren't the secret trader? Like, would you
- 20:35Speaker 3: be able to hold up the ruse otherwise?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Yes? Okay, I know that sounds like crazy. It's just
- 20:40Speaker 1: that I think that.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I want to be a trader so bad that if
- 20:44Speaker 2: they had to watch my actual reaction to finding out,
- 20:47Speaker 2: like that's the one thing that I'm going to be.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I don't know if I could like deal with like.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Once you give me a roll, honey, I will commit
- 20:54Speaker 2: and I will die, you know, like I will bleed
- 20:56Speaker 2: out on that fucking stage before anything happens, or I
- 21:00Speaker 2: give it up.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But like yeah, like because I want it so much.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It's like, how do you watch me.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Sit in the news without knowing that I like am
- 21:09Speaker 2: so happy, you know what I'm saying?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yes, And I think, do you.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I don't know if we're gonna reveal who it was yet,
- 21:14Speaker 3: but that person I clocked right away really yeah yeah, yeah, okay.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah I was they Okay, So as we go on,
- 21:26Speaker 2: as it happens, we we had the first challenge and
- 21:29Speaker 2: the first oh I mean to say that Alan picks
- 21:31Speaker 2: the traders, and the traders he does, you know, just
- 21:35Speaker 2: by his usual walking around slow mel walk with like
- 21:38Speaker 2: a lot of like elbow ins, you know, like he's
- 21:42Speaker 2: like playing the slowest defense and basketball lover, like he's
- 21:45Speaker 2: about to like come in then decides just it's just
- 21:49Speaker 2: it's so funny and it reminds me a little bit
- 21:51Speaker 2: like heads up, seven up, a little bit like when
- 21:53Speaker 2: I was when you were looking a rainy day in school,
- 21:56Speaker 2: but also was gonna say, did you also play? And
- 21:58Speaker 2: I wanted to ask you this before Anie or Werewolf
- 22:01Speaker 2: growing up Mafia?
- 22:02Speaker 3: We played Mafia and then we had a game that
- 22:04Speaker 3: was I guess exactly like Mafia called Murder, which is
- 22:08Speaker 3: the same thing. Yeah, but it was great and it
- 22:09Speaker 3: was scary because you would turn the lights out and
- 22:12Speaker 3: just like the thrilling same thing with heads up, seven up.
- 22:15Speaker 3: There's something really thrilling about being like secretly chosen for something.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yes, what is it sensory or just your eyes closed.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Or yeah, I think that's what it is.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I think it's like a human thing that we're wired
- 22:28Speaker 3: to kind of like be on alert if we don't
- 22:30Speaker 3: have a full view of what's going on and someone's
- 22:32Speaker 3: like reaching out to us.
- 22:35Speaker 1: That's so sexy, I know, right.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I know. Yeah, So basically, you know, he picks, he picks,
- 22:43Speaker 2: And I was surprised. It's Candice, Renna and Rob. And
- 22:46Speaker 2: the reason why I'm surprised is that there's no gamer
- 22:48Speaker 2: and I mean unless we and at this point, we
- 22:50Speaker 2: don't know what the sacred.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Trader is sorry secret Trader, and so at.
- 22:53Speaker 2: This point I'm hard assuming that it should be one,
- 22:55Speaker 2: and then I mean, I'm assuming that it just because
- 22:57Speaker 2: why so many real housewives.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Did you think so? Would you think? I don't know
- 23:01Speaker 1: that I thought that.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Because Rob makes it like such an interesting group that
- 23:08Speaker 3: I wasn't like worried about, like, oh is it. I
- 23:09Speaker 3: wasn't really worried about the game or contingency. And that
- 23:11Speaker 3: might have been because I don't watch a lot of
- 23:13Speaker 3: gaming shows.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 2: I also think if like member so obviously last season,
- 23:19Speaker 2: the rob of last season swept the fucking shit, you know,
- 23:23Speaker 2: So it's like, you know, I think that maybe there
- 23:25Speaker 2: was just trying to also not be have someone who's
- 23:28Speaker 2: too aggressively playing a game who maybe has a little
- 23:31Speaker 2: more like social game involved. But yes, I'm happy. I
- 23:36Speaker 2: just so I didn't know candas. But I love everything
- 23:37Speaker 2: about Candace's backstory and it's all that she's like smart
- 23:40Speaker 2: as fuck, and just like I, I'm obsessed with her nose.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I just like I stared it all the time. It's
- 23:46Speaker 1: beautiful that little button knows and she's so much fun.
- 23:48Speaker 1: On Potomac.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I really recommend Potomac as a housewives city. It's a
- 23:53Speaker 3: murder's row of amazing women, and Candace definitely holds her
- 23:56Speaker 3: own there and yeah, yeah, I'm.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Really enjoyed her.
- 24:00Speaker 3: And I mean, Renna is one of my favorite celebrities
- 24:03Speaker 3: of all time period, so I'm thrilled.
- 24:07Speaker 1: You know what It's like.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Rinna is kind of like an old school Hollywood star
- 24:14Speaker 2: in that she wants to be a star so bad,
- 24:17Speaker 2: Like even in LA, like she I see her about
- 24:21Speaker 2: like I see her more than raw and haha, but
- 24:23Speaker 2: like you know, cause she's around Beverly Hills and I
- 24:25Speaker 2: kickn spin classes with her in social like whatever soul
- 24:29Speaker 2: cycle she's out and about, and like when she is
- 24:32Speaker 2: out about, she like isn't shy or shying away or
- 24:36Speaker 2: in like sunglasses and not, like she's talking with her
- 24:39Speaker 2: loud voice, like she really feels like she lives and
- 24:44Speaker 2: loves the life that she has created.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You know, I agree completely.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I think she's so comfortable in her skin and she's
- 24:52Speaker 3: just so happy to share that with everyone.
- 24:54Speaker 1: I think she's an incredible reality star.
- 24:56Speaker 3: I think that of them as artists because I don't
- 24:58Speaker 3: think it's acting, but I do think it's an art
- 25:00Speaker 3: and she nails it because she has that acting background,
- 25:04Speaker 3: like she knows how to be interesting on camera. She
- 25:06Speaker 3: knows how to be in the moment and interact with
- 25:08Speaker 3: whoever she's in a scene with. Her fashion is so
- 25:12Speaker 3: unapologetic her lips. She's like, yeah, this is my thing here.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I don't give a shit if you think my lips
- 25:17Speaker 3: are too big, Like this is my signature thing.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Like I just I love her. Did the lips of
- 25:23Speaker 1: for anyone else? Did exactly? And did you watch the
- 25:26Speaker 1: Lost Culture Style Awarts?
- 25:28Speaker 3: Oh?
- 25:28Speaker 1: No, I didn't.
- 25:29Speaker 3: The Last Culture Warts. They did a running gag first
- 25:31Speaker 3: of all. That was like one of the funniest things
- 25:33Speaker 3: I've seen in a long time. I was like, I
- 25:35Speaker 3: gotta watch it.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Watch it.
- 25:36Speaker 3: It's evergreen. It is completely evergreen. But I will spoil this.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Like they have a runner throughout the entire award show
- 25:43Speaker 3: that is Lisa Rinna Runway modeling the nominees for Best
- 25:47Speaker 3: Outfit of the Year. And the way she's serving and
- 25:52Speaker 3: those Runway looks, it's just like someone so in their
- 25:56Speaker 3: element and so happy to be on stage and getting attention.
- 25:59Speaker 1: It's it's incredible. Wow. Okay, Okay, I mean yes, fucking yes. Great.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Basically, we all know that no one cares about the challenges.
- 26:09Speaker 2: They are usually the most boring part of the show,
- 26:10Speaker 2: except for the fact that it is fun to watch
- 26:12Speaker 2: them like get scared, but they don't care about the money,
- 26:14Speaker 2: and you know, I almost wish they had something else happening.
- 26:16Speaker 1: This first challenge is.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Like phill the graves with Coffins and the people with
- 26:20Speaker 2: the graves and the Coffins are up for Blobbery Blue.
- 26:23Speaker 1: So just boring. Rob.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Rob is up who obviously is a trader, Ian
- 26:29Speaker 2: singer Eric and Daft food stars Mark and then obviously
- 26:35Speaker 2: in the turette the Traders come together and you know,
- 26:42Speaker 2: as we move on to episode two, we find out
- 26:44Speaker 2: big brother Ian has been killed and it's basically because
- 26:46Speaker 2: he's a genius and he's real smart, and they were
- 26:48Speaker 2: just like, yeah, I don't want to deal with you.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I think it makes sense. Yeah, yeah, it's like not
- 26:54Speaker 1: too crazy.
- 26:55Speaker 2: That's like it's kind of like a chaotic kind of thing.
- 27:00Speaker 1: It is.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You know, two housewives are took out a gamer, you know,
- 27:04Speaker 2: like so I think that that would be of interest,
- 27:07Speaker 2: you know, in the just because if the big brotherness
- 27:09Speaker 2: of it all, and I think the survivor is too
- 27:12Speaker 2: you have to think about the numbers per group, and
- 27:16Speaker 2: so if the first person to go.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Is what is your group, then you have to assume that.
- 27:23Speaker 2: You know there's a reason you know, I don't know,
- 27:25Speaker 2: even though Lisa's gonna kill someone too, I don't know
- 27:27Speaker 2: what I'm saying.
- 27:27Speaker 1: So it's like, yeah, it's just like the politics of
- 27:30Speaker 1: it all.
- 27:33Speaker 2: In the second challenge, people, this is like an interesting
- 27:37Speaker 2: one where it's like people are being carried like fucking Cleopatra, okay, and.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Then you can get a shield.
- 27:44Speaker 2: If you get a shield, it's like a coin that
- 27:46Speaker 2: you drop into a little box and then you disclaim
- 27:50Speaker 2: the throne. And at first all the dudes are like, no,
- 27:53Speaker 2: I'm not gonna like make anyone you know, carry me,
- 27:57Speaker 2: like Stephen and I hope at Stephen Coletti or someone's
- 27:59Speaker 2: like my mom is me right or whatever, And of
- 28:03Speaker 2: course Moira, Camille I think Caroline are like sitting pretty
- 28:09Speaker 2: for a long time until jam Jam gets a coin
- 28:13Speaker 2: and he like feels kind of bad, but not bad
- 28:18Speaker 2: enough to get a spot on that fucking because you're.
- 28:23Speaker 3: You're immune if you end the challenge and you're the
- 28:26Speaker 3: one in the throne, right, So it's almost like musical
- 28:28Speaker 3: chairs meets a chariot.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I thought that challenge like seemed.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Really physic legitimately physically difficult, like they are hauling that
- 28:38Speaker 3: thing up hills and stuff. Yeah, some of these challenges,
- 28:41Speaker 3: I'm like, Wow, they're really putting these.
- 28:44Speaker 1: People to work.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I know, you're right, You're like, I mean, you would
- 28:47Speaker 2: have to like have done like a regime to like
- 28:49Speaker 2: get prepared at least get the core strength, right, like
- 28:55Speaker 2: special ops or special forces, or the people are like older.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I mean I'm thinking he particularly of Doma.
- 29:01Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. No one's like mama,
- 29:05Speaker 2: just get up there. I know they're fucking no one
- 29:10Speaker 2: was raised right, No. So basically, you know, Michael and
- 29:18Speaker 2: jam Jam getting a fight, and then Michael is suspected
- 29:20Speaker 2: as a trader because he's also like annoying, and the
- 29:26Speaker 2: traders get the list of people they can nominate and
- 29:30Speaker 2: Michael is not on the list or whatever you know,
- 29:33Speaker 2: and this not Rob also feels like that is suspect.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And I also found it suspect because he is so
- 29:41Speaker 2: annoying that you would think that he'd be in the
- 29:42Speaker 2: list immediately. So when he's not, people and Rob and
- 29:46Speaker 2: me are like, oh, no, is he the fucking see totally.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 3: But I think the strategy there is, and I think
- 29:55Speaker 3: it's a smart one, is like on this show, you're
- 29:59Speaker 3: for the traders, you're better off kind of like keeping
- 30:02Speaker 3: that person that everyone wrongfully thinks is the trader alive
- 30:05Speaker 3: because it deflects attention from you. So I understood why
- 30:08Speaker 3: he wasn't shortlisted for that reason, Like in hindsight, yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 1: You're right, Yeah, you're right about that. That's true. It's interesting.
- 30:13Speaker 2: But then I but I didn't realize that, so I saw.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I mean, I guess I was like, that's why he's
- 30:18Speaker 2: a trader. But listen, Mama, Donna is not talking, you know,
- 30:23Speaker 2: at all, Like, you know, she's just not bringing anyone in.
- 30:26Speaker 2: She's not having conversations in the confessional. She's like, I'm
- 30:29Speaker 2: just so starstruck or whatever. But at the same time,
- 30:31Speaker 2: she knows Ron. They worked on something together, and she
- 30:34Speaker 2: talks to Ron a little bit.
- 30:37Speaker 1: This whole situation was just too much for me.
- 30:40Speaker 3: I mean, I love Taylor Swift, so like from get
- 30:45Speaker 3: I was like, I'm sorry, sweetheart, Like your daughter in
- 30:47Speaker 3: law is Taylor Swift. I don't think you're starstruck by
- 30:50Speaker 3: Ron funches like I I I'm sorry, Like your sons
- 30:57Speaker 3: owned the NFL, and that was like all she said
- 31:00Speaker 3: the whole time, Like I'm so starstar from you. It's like, yeah,
- 31:02Speaker 3: I love Monaque Exchange too, but you're one of the
- 31:06Speaker 3: most powerful people in the world.
- 31:10Speaker 2: God.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't know it right.
- 31:13Speaker 2: She also, like people tell her, I'm surprised that she
- 31:16Speaker 2: doesn't snap into gear.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Like when people tell you that you need to do.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Something more, I'm always surprised that they don't do it more.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Like even Lisa, as we know is a great reality show,
- 31:26Speaker 2: she is a trader and you know, like she is
- 31:32Speaker 2: not acting how she typically would act. And I think
- 31:35Speaker 2: that you have to know how your personality is and
- 31:39Speaker 2: then prepare for two versions of you, like the faithful
- 31:43Speaker 2: version of you and the trader version of you, because
- 31:46Speaker 2: you can't just be like very outspoken and like gonna
- 31:48Speaker 2: take an accountability and like, you know, talk about Munchausen
- 31:52Speaker 2: and like, you know, are the things that we've known
- 31:53Speaker 2: her to do over the years, and then just come
- 31:55Speaker 2: on fucking traders and be like is there any more
- 31:57Speaker 2: smoke salmon?
- 31:58Speaker 3: You know, like I know, I know, and like it.
- 32:03Speaker 3: It feels like pretty uneven. Like every once in a
- 32:06Speaker 3: while she will like hit the gas and be like what,
- 32:09Speaker 3: like what, and then like she'll be quiet for like
- 32:12Speaker 3: long stretches of time. And I think it is because
- 32:16Speaker 3: she's not a gamer. Like as much as she's an
- 32:17Speaker 3: amazing performer, she doesn't have that kind of strategy.
- 32:22Speaker 2: She would need to have befriends, like they would need
- 32:25Speaker 2: to almost have a gamer as a trader or have
- 32:29Speaker 2: Camille or someone be like, no, Lisa, this is what
- 32:32Speaker 2: you have to do. You're going to have to go
- 32:35Speaker 2: for someone. You're going to have to like create a distraction,
- 32:38Speaker 2: go for someone, and like you know, not try and
- 32:41Speaker 2: get the blood on your hands. Like you know, it's
- 32:43Speaker 2: like that kind of thing where you create a situation
- 32:45Speaker 2: where someone is then you know, put to look bad.
- 32:51Speaker 2: You look good, but it involves you in a way
- 32:53Speaker 2: that you look like you're playing the game, you know,
- 32:57Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what. And as it's goes on,
- 33:00Speaker 2: like you know, it would have to reveal herself. But
- 33:02Speaker 2: basically at this moment, Porsia is doing one shitty thing,
- 33:08Speaker 2: which is that Porsia and they have footage of it,
- 33:11Speaker 2: keeps referring to herself as a trader. She's like, as
- 33:14Speaker 2: we know, there's four traders. There's four of us just
- 33:16Speaker 2: for fur traders, And we're like what And like if
- 33:20Speaker 2: Rod had just made it up, that'd be one thing.
- 33:22Speaker 2: But there's like multiple times that she does it in
- 33:25Speaker 2: multiple rooms and multiple people hear it, where she just
- 33:28Speaker 2: keeps saying that she's a trader.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I know.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I don't know what that's about, except it must be
- 33:32Speaker 3: like an intrusive thought thing, like is that the same
- 33:35Speaker 3: part of your brain that's like, don't drive on to
- 33:37Speaker 3: the other side of the road, you know what I mean,
- 33:38Speaker 3: Like where it's like you're trying so hard not to
- 33:40Speaker 3: say something or not. I don't know, Like that's the
- 33:43Speaker 3: only thing I can think is that her nerves are
- 33:46Speaker 3: making her like say the thing.
- 33:48Speaker 1: That she knows she shouldn't say. Yeah, I don't know.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It's not good though.
- 33:54Speaker 2: No, No, I can't wait for her to like watch
- 33:57Speaker 2: a mega clip of her doing it and be like, girl,
- 34:00Speaker 2: what why did you keep saying that in her to
- 34:02Speaker 2: be like, you know, because she doesn't seem aware of it,
- 34:04Speaker 2: but yeah, that is obviously Ron keeps that. I mean, Mammakelsey,
- 34:08Speaker 2: everyone Donna just like clocks it. I think Michael Rappaport
- 34:12Speaker 2: clocks it. At the roundtable, Ron goes for Portia and
- 34:16Speaker 2: then you know, and cites all this and everyone had
- 34:18Speaker 2: heard it, and she fucking did, and she, you know,
- 34:20Speaker 2: isn't you know, going to like be able to snap
- 34:22Speaker 2: her laurels together and come for him.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And she doesn't really know Ron that well. And as
- 34:27Speaker 1: the votes go on, Lisa fucking votes for her, which
- 34:32Speaker 1: I thought was also a bad move. And I think
- 34:34Speaker 1: it goes into what we're saying is that Lisa needs
- 34:36Speaker 1: to like someone had to have tell Lisa had to
- 34:39Speaker 1: fucking play a game, who would you have voted for
- 34:41Speaker 1: if you were Lisa Ron? Yeah, that's what Camille's doing. Yeah,
- 34:51Speaker 1: and she.
- 34:53Speaker 3: Because you have to go with someone like you definitely
- 34:56Speaker 3: can't be like have a wild card pick like you do.
- 34:58Speaker 1: And I think Rob is doing this very well. You
- 35:01Speaker 1: have to kind of like blend in and go with
- 35:03Speaker 1: the flow.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Uh So I get I guess I get why she
- 35:08Speaker 3: voted for her for portion in that way of like
- 35:10Speaker 3: she was trying to do the safe thing of just
- 35:11Speaker 3: go with the group.
- 35:12Speaker 2: M But but the thing about it is like the
- 35:17Speaker 2: unspoken rule is that there's gamers, there's Bravo, there's some loaners,
- 35:22Speaker 2: and so like you come in knowing this is like
- 35:25Speaker 2: you know, your tribe or whatever. It's like feudal, fucking
- 35:28Speaker 2: you know, it's like horrible. But to say it's like, yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 2: it's like what this You know, you just have to
- 35:32Speaker 2: know that that's an undercurrent. So anything against that, people
- 35:35Speaker 2: are gonna wonder why mm hmmm, because you have to
- 35:38Speaker 2: go to Bravo Coln together.
- 35:39Speaker 1: You see each other, like, you know.
- 35:41Speaker 2: She's not like she's Kristen uh I don't have to
- 35:45Speaker 2: say her last name, but the chef from Bravo. You
- 35:47Speaker 2: would have you assumed that like Lisa ren doesn't see
- 35:50Speaker 2: as much, but you know, they see each other more
- 35:52Speaker 2: than like Lisa Renna sees.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Ron right right, and certainly Donna Kelcey. I mean well,
- 35:59Speaker 3: no that she Lisa is friends with Dona Kelsey and
- 36:01Speaker 3: all that, or wants to be well or she would know.
- 36:04Speaker 1: She would never cross her.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Never knew.
- 36:09Speaker 3: That at least there is a woman who is driven
- 36:12Speaker 3: by status, like she's never gonna do anything that would
- 36:15Speaker 3: make her like not taken down a notch or two.
- 36:17Speaker 2: She has already planned her and Amelia Gray being in
- 36:20Speaker 2: that fucking suite on Super.
- 36:22Speaker 3: Bowl Sunday, like exactly, I know, so yeah, that's not
- 36:27Speaker 3: our girls.
- 36:27Speaker 2: So obviously Portia gets banished and she is a faithful
- 36:32Speaker 2: and then you know.
- 36:35Speaker 1: They uh, they have to.
- 36:38Speaker 2: Murder someone in plain sight is like the next kind
- 36:42Speaker 2: of big thing. And I just want to say, this
- 36:45Speaker 2: is like such a lackluster murder and plain site whole scenario.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Like from the past. I loved a murder and plain.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Site that involves that little secret room that you have
- 36:59Speaker 2: to get to off the library and then they have
- 37:01Speaker 2: to go and get something and do something and something.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It's like what they had to do, which was behind
- 37:07Speaker 1: a frame. There's like a secret tarot card you have
- 37:11Speaker 1: to grab and someone just has to distract people. But
- 37:13Speaker 1: the frame is in the kitchen, which is a which
- 37:16Speaker 1: is a gathering place. So they all go to the bar,
- 37:19Speaker 1: which is one thing. But the way that Candice distracts,
- 37:23Speaker 1: to me makes no sense and for how long it
- 37:26Speaker 1: would happen? And I unless you can tell me that
- 37:29Speaker 1: congo lines are an actual thing, test no and listen.
- 37:33Speaker 1: If anyone wants them to be an actual thing, it's me,
- 37:36Speaker 1: you know, Okay, I how long do you want it
- 37:41Speaker 1: to happen.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Oh that's a great question because I've been in them.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Iigu uh huh.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Yeah yeah uh. It's a thirty second thing. Thirty second
- 37:51Speaker 3: yeah yeah, and then people start they do start falling
- 37:55Speaker 3: off like pretty quickly. So yeah, retain a conga line
- 37:59Speaker 3: the whole way they handle this whole murder and plane sight.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I thought all of the traders did really poorly, like
- 38:06Speaker 3: all of them were showing their cards, all of them,
- 38:08Speaker 3: like all of them were acting a fool. It was.
- 38:11Speaker 3: I can't believe they didn't get found out in that episode.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I guess I'm like Rob in that. I would be like, oh,
- 38:17Speaker 2: what's this, Like da da da da da da da,
- 38:21Speaker 2: and then I would just be like I'm absolutely not
- 38:23Speaker 2: doing this, and then you know like that, Yeah. I
- 38:25Speaker 2: mean I would never have joined it. I would have
- 38:27Speaker 2: just watched her do it, and I would have been
- 38:29Speaker 2: like kind of like what Rob C does clock it
- 38:33Speaker 2: and be like that's weird, it's weird, and also be
- 38:35Speaker 2: like something in the air and I were hanging out
- 38:37Speaker 2: here too long and the camera's looking at us in
- 38:38Speaker 2: such a way that I can tell that murders or
- 38:41Speaker 2: foot and it's the murder in place, so he like
- 38:42Speaker 2: clocks the clocks clocks it. Now in the past, we
- 38:45Speaker 2: know that there's been chalices or someone has to drink
- 38:48Speaker 2: and such a thing. And so Rob thinks that there
- 38:51Speaker 2: is going to be an act done to a certain
- 38:56Speaker 2: individual or set of individuals that will mark upon them death.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Almost yes, but that's not what the what it is
- 39:08Speaker 2: because there's no physical act upon certain people. Like that's
- 39:12Speaker 2: what's confused, Like, that's not murder and plain sight, that's
- 39:14Speaker 2: what's confusing to me about this thing. Like all they
- 39:16Speaker 2: you have to do is grab tarot cards, like I said,
- 39:19Speaker 2: from one fucking room, go through them, and then burn
- 39:24Speaker 2: them the ones they want to in the fire.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Like am I missing something? It seems to that was
- 39:30Speaker 1: the whole thing. I mean, I guess it was a
- 39:31Speaker 1: little challenging for them.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Like you said, to get the area clear, they
- 39:34Speaker 3: had to like find which picture frame had the card,
- 39:37Speaker 3: So you are going to have to be like moving
- 39:39Speaker 3: picture frames to do that.
- 39:41Speaker 1: It was sutty though, But I think Rob messed up.
- 39:44Speaker 3: He should not have told anyone clearly that he was
- 39:46Speaker 3: onto the murderers.
- 39:48Speaker 1: That's where he messed up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 39:51Speaker 1: yeah yeah.
- 39:52Speaker 3: But then yeah, like Rob Trader, Rob and Rinna they
- 39:55Speaker 3: sit down to like a chessboard and it was like please,
- 39:59Speaker 3: I mean, anyone who was around it was like, so,
- 40:01Speaker 3: if we're playing chess, how should we which one would
- 40:04Speaker 3: you take? Yeah?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 40:10Speaker 3: It was so obvious and so heavy handed. It was
- 40:13Speaker 3: like that was making me nervous. So I do feel
- 40:15Speaker 3: like I was nervous for this whole segment, but it
- 40:17Speaker 3: was because of how inept they all were. Yeah, and
- 40:22Speaker 3: Renna's like renaying out.
- 40:23Speaker 1: I mean she has zero poker, but she's like, yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 1: that one's good. Yeah, no thing.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Also, Brenna, You've been on God's Green Earth for a
- 40:31Speaker 2: seasoned Woman amount of times and you don't know how
- 40:34Speaker 2: to play chess. It's just Chess is one of those
- 40:37Speaker 2: things like poker or blackjack or chess. It's just like checker.
- 40:41Speaker 2: It's like at some you do know how to like
- 40:43Speaker 2: you do know how to play. Have you like not
- 40:46Speaker 2: known how to play your whole like no one sat
- 40:47Speaker 2: you down and told you how a rook moves in
- 40:49Speaker 2: an L space?
- 40:50Speaker 1: Like you know, no, right, and I'm sorry you're telling me.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Harry Hamlin doesn't play chess, right, I don't think so
- 40:56Speaker 3: it's all he does exactly.
- 40:58Speaker 1: He's made out of chess. Oh my god.
- 41:03Speaker 2: I do love that she calls her husband by his
- 41:04Speaker 2: last name, oh always, and she's always excited to like
- 41:07Speaker 2: tell him news and you can like in your mind
- 41:09Speaker 2: picture his face as he hears the news, which is just.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Just with devoid of any sort of emotion or whatever.
- 41:18Speaker 2: Yes, so the shortlist of Tarot cards is Tara, Kristen, Monet,
- 41:25Speaker 2: and Rob Ce. And guess what they kill Rob? See
- 41:30Speaker 2: because he knew that a murder was happening. And you know,
- 41:33Speaker 2: he's also a smart gamer. So now I'm like, I look, oh,
- 41:36Speaker 2: that's a lot of gamers. But you know, God bless.
- 41:39Speaker 2: There's a fight between Rapaport and Jam Jam, which Rapaport
- 41:43Speaker 2: is kind of like obviously fighting and being overly obnoxious
- 41:49Speaker 2: to everyone at all times.
- 41:52Speaker 3: I think you see this a lot on reality shows
- 41:54Speaker 3: like across the board genre wise, because it is such
- 41:57Speaker 3: a mentally messed up experience. I think be on one
- 42:00Speaker 3: of these shows to be like outside of your regular life,
- 42:03Speaker 3: to be in this like crazy bubble where they're intentionally
- 42:05Speaker 3: trying to manipulate you. So you take a live wire
- 42:08Speaker 3: like Michael Rappaport, who doesn't seem to have command of
- 42:10Speaker 3: his emotions ever, and you drop him into a situation
- 42:13Speaker 3: like this, and it is chaos.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Mm hmm, yeah, it absolutely is.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he he He kind of toggles between thinking that
- 42:25Speaker 2: he's a housewife but he's really not, and he like
- 42:29Speaker 2: doesn't really like anyone, and he's like sort of awkward
- 42:31Speaker 2: to everyone, and just yeah, he's People keep saying this,
- 42:35Speaker 2: which is funny because it's true. He's both a horrible
- 42:40Speaker 2: trader and a horrible faithful and in that a chaotic
- 42:44Speaker 2: person in itself. You know, like there's what is that
- 42:48Speaker 2: chart called you know I'm talking about where it's like
- 42:50Speaker 2: chaotic evil good and you go down the list, you know,
- 42:53Speaker 2: it's like neutral, and then it's like whatever.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Chaotic evil you know what I knew that was. And
- 43:00Speaker 3: then someone told me that's from Dungeons and Dragons. No,
- 43:04Speaker 3: I think it is from Dungeons and Dragons? Is it?
- 43:07Speaker 1: That's how? That's how prevalent. It's like yeah, because I
- 43:10Speaker 1: see that.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Ship all the time now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:15Speaker 3: There was a while on like Twitter where everybody was
- 43:17Speaker 3: chaotic neutraling, and then finally I like phoned a friend
- 43:20Speaker 3: and I was like, what is this and then I
- 43:21Speaker 3: learned that it was from Dungeons and Dragons.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like chaotic good.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I think same. That's why we like each other. Yea, yes,
- 43:32Speaker 1: oh good good good. Yeah.
- 43:35Speaker 2: So basically, uh, the round table before happens before the
- 43:40Speaker 2: mission for this episode three and Michael Rapaport and uh,
- 43:43Speaker 2: Donna's names are back in contentions and as is Ron's
- 43:47Speaker 2: after you know, the Porscha targeting fiasco. And basically, even
- 43:51Speaker 2: though everyone is scared, especially Colton, of going against Donna
- 43:54Speaker 2: because the Swifties like you will come after them.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Which I don't know is that valid?
- 44:01Speaker 3: Do you think the Swifties really would have come after
- 44:02Speaker 3: someone for voting her off?
- 44:04Speaker 2: This is so bad And I'm just gonna be very honest. Yeah,
- 44:07Speaker 2: maybe like seven years ago when they were like younger,
- 44:10Speaker 2: but I think this happens. Yeah, the SWIFTI is of aged,
- 44:13Speaker 2: you know, and so swift. I don't think there's like swifty.
- 44:16Speaker 2: The amount of Swifty trolls I think has like probably
- 44:20Speaker 2: gone down because I think that people those people have
- 44:24Speaker 2: lives probably now and like jobs, and it's.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Just too hard.
- 44:28Speaker 3: There's too much to keep up with and like Taylor
- 44:31Speaker 3: is feeding us in such a way that we have
- 44:33Speaker 3: other things to be interested in and excited about.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Like there's so much coming out of that. And I
- 44:39Speaker 1: don't think that you feel. I just don't think that's
- 44:41Speaker 1: something people would be upset about.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Not that everyone doesn't love Donna, but like it's not
- 44:46Speaker 3: her being like legitimately wronged or anything totally.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Like and by the way, it's like, you know, obviously Twitter,
- 44:52Speaker 2: I'm sorry, Obviously Taylor has so many fans. It's like
- 44:54Speaker 2: the people that would be going after someone on the
- 44:56Speaker 2: show would be like the more trollish style.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Yes, obviously fans.
- 44:59Speaker 2: You know. It's like I guess what, I'm yeah, so and
- 45:01Speaker 2: you know the same thing like Nicki Minaj, Like I
- 45:03Speaker 2: know that there's like certain fan bases that like are
- 45:06Speaker 2: socially upward, you know.
- 45:09Speaker 3: So I wonder how the Nicki Minaj fan base is
- 45:11Speaker 3: doing as of late.
- 45:12Speaker 1: I don't care, I know, but it.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Has to be like a fucking deserted I mean, it
- 45:17Speaker 2: has to be just like Mars Wasteland.
- 45:19Speaker 1: It has to be right. Yeah, there's a tumble We're
- 45:22Speaker 1: just rolling through their feed. Yeah.
- 45:24Speaker 3: I anyway, good luck to you if you're a humanage fan,
- 45:30Speaker 3: I know it.
- 45:30Speaker 2: It's funny because a woman saying this is so sad
- 45:32Speaker 2: because I'm so old that like I really loved like
- 45:34Speaker 2: all of like young money, cash money, like that was
- 45:36Speaker 2: like my like biggest like hip hopness for so long.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Whatever they're all.
- 45:40Speaker 2: I mean, you know, I just love little Wayne and
- 45:41Speaker 2: then everyone that he brewed or whatever like came from him,
- 45:43Speaker 2: and I was just like, this is my trifactus is
- 45:45Speaker 2: my holy trinity?
- 45:46Speaker 1: And boy, uh is that not the case? Now?
- 45:51Speaker 3: Tough time is relevant in you guys, But yeah, yeah, no,
- 45:54Speaker 3: I agree that everything about the Donna thing I will
- 45:57Speaker 3: say I did. I was like when they were like
- 46:01Speaker 3: when she was like what, I'm just quiet and I
- 46:02Speaker 3: don't really know any of you. Even though I was
- 46:04Speaker 3: like I don't know about this like starstruck thing I was,
- 46:07Speaker 3: there was a part of me that was like, oh,
- 46:09Speaker 3: is she being misunderstood like Ron?
- 46:11Speaker 1: Like I never thought Ron was the secret Trader For
- 46:15Speaker 1: whatever reason, I didn't either.
- 46:17Speaker 2: I thought it was Donna, Jam Jam and Michael Wrappaport.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:24Speaker 3: I thought it was either Donna or Michael Rappaport or Yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 3: I don't think Jamjam either, but also the way they
- 46:32Speaker 3: edited it, like they made Donna look really guilty too,
- 46:34Speaker 3: Like it was like but then it was like that
- 46:36Speaker 3: you never know on a reality show when they're faking
- 46:38Speaker 3: you out though, either, like sometimes when they linger on
- 46:41Speaker 3: someone for too long, it's like they're trying to lead
- 46:43Speaker 3: you down that road because they have other plans for you.
- 46:45Speaker 1: And act four so mm hmmm, it's a red herring exactly. Yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I know, but.
- 46:52Speaker 2: They Yeah, they vote her out and she's the secret Trader,
- 46:55Speaker 2: So now all the actual traders are like so happy
- 46:58Speaker 2: that they don't have to like cowta.
- 47:00Speaker 1: To her like little list to do her like the thing.
- 47:03Speaker 2: And now we're like okay, and then we wonder in
- 47:05Speaker 2: the back of our minds, like what happens now? Is
- 47:07Speaker 2: there another secret Trader that will come? Or do we
- 47:10Speaker 2: do the trader? Old trader?
- 47:14Speaker 1: What's it called?
- 47:15Speaker 2: When you initiate someone else? You you? Yeah, you abduct.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Someone yeah whatever? Yeah?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you offer them a choice of a lifetime, right,
- 47:26Speaker 2: you would do it?
- 47:27Speaker 1: I would you feel well? Or I don't know. I
- 47:28Speaker 1: don't mean to tell you that I will, you know,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I think I'd rather be a faithful.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Why Yeah, Well, I think the faithfuls do better on
- 47:38Speaker 3: the show, Like you have a better chance of winning
- 47:41Speaker 3: if you're.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Like, yeah, you get to do less. For sure, you
- 47:47Speaker 1: get to do less.
- 47:48Speaker 3: You get to do But I would want to I
- 47:49Speaker 3: would want to be on camera more so. Yeah, in
- 47:51Speaker 3: that way, I would want to be a trader. But
- 47:54Speaker 3: it would make me nervous to have to be on
- 47:57Speaker 3: that often. Like I think I'm not a good liar,
- 48:00Speaker 3: Like I like acting, but I'm not a good like
- 48:01Speaker 3: I don't know, and I have a nervous giggle, So
- 48:04Speaker 3: I'd be fucked there.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I don't want to be a faithful I
- 48:09Speaker 1: would have to. I don't want to give up my
- 48:12Speaker 1: game because I would.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I mean, there's not a lot of reality shows that
- 48:14Speaker 2: I'd want to be on, and like maybe this is
- 48:16Speaker 2: one of them. But like yeah, I h I yeah,
- 48:21Speaker 2: you would, just I would have to go back to
- 48:22Speaker 2: everything I've watched her Big Brother. I think that's why
- 48:24Speaker 2: I think Big Brother and maybe Survivors like it, Like
- 48:26Speaker 2: you have to have alliances. You have to have, you know,
- 48:28Speaker 2: like people that are on your side. You have to
- 48:30Speaker 2: people that believe in you, and you have people that
- 48:32Speaker 2: are gonna take you to the end, Like that's the
- 48:33Speaker 2: other thing about it, you know, And then you start
- 48:35Speaker 2: to be like, who's gonna take you to the end,
- 48:37Speaker 2: you know?
- 48:38Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean anyway. So basically.
- 48:44Speaker 2: The challenge for this one is the competitors are have
- 48:47Speaker 2: to pair up by themselves, and we'll find out why.
- 48:51Speaker 2: And then uh Ron, there's an odd number, and Ron
- 48:54Speaker 2: is obviously the odd man out, and he's just automatically
- 48:56Speaker 2: gonna be by himself and therefore placed on the trader's shortlist.
- 48:58Speaker 2: And one play is in a cage, and then one
- 49:01Speaker 2: player just has to grab a bunch of mysterious hidden items,
- 49:06Speaker 2: which end up being skulls, and then the heat they
- 49:11Speaker 2: have to balance them by jimmying ten skulls, interlocking them
- 49:17Speaker 2: either the same way or opposite ways, balancing them in
- 49:20Speaker 2: such a way to at least for one second, free
- 49:24Speaker 2: the person in the cage. Now thoughts about who you'd pick,
- 49:27Speaker 2: what or in what position you'd want to be in. Oh, good,
- 49:31Speaker 2: obviously Rob is who would we pick?
- 49:33Speaker 1: Okay, So if you can't say Rob, I can't put
- 49:35Speaker 1: Robin a cage. Later my fault, honey, you get the
- 49:41Speaker 1: trader I'd Rob.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Well, oops, they couldn't get you out. Oh no, I
- 49:47Speaker 3: have handcuffs too. Let's see, who would I choose? Hmm,
- 49:55Speaker 3: I feel like, you know, my first thought was I
- 49:57Speaker 3: probably would have chosen Canvae.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I would. My first lot was I would have
- 50:02Speaker 1: chosen Terra.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Mmm yeah, sprightly tiny can just crawl around believes you know.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I would have chosen myself to be the person
- 50:13Speaker 3: doing the activity, like I would have. I I'm very
- 50:17Speaker 3: I'm in aries, so I love like physical challenges, and
- 50:20Speaker 3: I'm I'm very confident, maybe overly confident in things like that.
- 50:23Speaker 3: So I think I would have like I would have
- 50:26Speaker 3: felt fine making myself be the person doing the challenges.
- 50:30Speaker 3: I really would have taken that back seat. I'm a
- 50:32Speaker 3: little pillow princess. You know, I'm saying I would have
- 50:34Speaker 3: just a cage princess, cage pillow princess. I would have
- 50:36Speaker 3: just been like, who's the strongest person here that can
- 50:39Speaker 3: take care of me? Would you do it?
- 50:42Speaker 1: You know?
- 50:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 50:43Speaker 1: Like I yep, so it's good.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and or I just and or I don't trust myself.
- 50:52Speaker 2: I don't know which one one is. So it's like
- 50:55Speaker 2: there's a kind of a little bit of both. No,
- 50:57Speaker 2: one is worse than Johnny weird though this, I mean,
- 51:00Speaker 2: my god, I'm so sad. Yeah, he can't you basically, yes,
- 51:05Speaker 2: the hardest part, for sure is the balancing of these
- 51:08Speaker 2: weird small skulls, you know, on each other. You just
- 51:12Speaker 2: have to get ten of them, and Johnny can't even
- 51:14Speaker 2: get ten of them and doesn't even know what time is, like,
- 51:17Speaker 2: seems like isn't keeping track of has time blindness, honey,
- 51:21Speaker 2: Like he's me not on vance, He's just an ADHD. Yeah,
- 51:25Speaker 2: I mean it's I mean it's like seventeen hours past
- 51:28Speaker 2: the event, honey, and he just shows up.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he's gone off.
- 51:31Speaker 3: He's choreographed a whole new ice routine. I mean, he's
- 51:33Speaker 3: doing everything except finding those skulls. And the way they
- 51:37Speaker 3: edit this secs just so great because they keep cutting
- 51:40Speaker 3: back and forth to everyone else doing the challenge.
- 51:42Speaker 1: And then it's like and meanwhile.
- 51:47Speaker 3: I know Johnny his skin game is so good, like
- 51:53Speaker 3: his like his skin is uh full, it's moisturized. Yeah,
- 51:58Speaker 3: those are not you know, romping around the woods, uh pores.
- 52:03Speaker 2: No, he barely sees the light of day. No, I
- 52:05Speaker 2: mean yeah, he's never outside.
- 52:08Speaker 1: He's yeah, he.
- 52:11Speaker 2: Just like he can't even really handle outdoor air. It
- 52:13Speaker 2: feels like, you know, like it's.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels like he's the rose and beauty and
- 52:18Speaker 3: the beast that lives like under the glass.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah he is. That also a little bit of powder,
- 52:25Speaker 1: you know, like all of it.
- 52:30Speaker 2: So basically, Caroline, Kristen, Lisa, and Eric are up for murder.
- 52:34Speaker 2: And the way that they're you know, gonna be a
- 52:36Speaker 2: for murder is that it's a face to face murder.
- 52:39Speaker 2: They're gonna be blindfolded and then tied to a tree
- 52:42Speaker 2: and then the traders have to come and you know,
- 52:46Speaker 2: do it face to face or whatever, and we get
- 52:50Speaker 2: ron giving like a Tennessee Williams as mellow dramatic, I mean.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Like tele novella like fuck an oscar just.
- 53:03Speaker 4: If you don't kill me now, you will regret it,
- 53:09Speaker 4: show me your faces, and I mean the way he
- 53:12Speaker 4: says will regret it was like I had a visceral
- 53:17Speaker 4: palpable body reaction to it, Tess.
- 53:22Speaker 3: It was incredible, No, it was incredible. It was like
- 53:25Speaker 3: well Juilliard cultish, yeah, I mean, and again like that,
- 53:30Speaker 3: I love the production on this show because like him
- 53:33Speaker 3: acting like that on this set where he's like it's
- 53:36Speaker 3: the dark forest and everyone's bound to the trees and
- 53:39Speaker 3: it feels very immersive. It's like, you're right, it's like
- 53:42Speaker 3: immersive Tennessee Williams.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, or god listen, I'm like, I forgot
- 53:48Speaker 2: who the fuck is like a great Scottish playwright, Like
- 53:50Speaker 2: it's not Shanley. He's like like, I don't know when
- 53:52Speaker 2: he's got Like god, there's Beckett. Yeah, god this, yes,
- 53:59Speaker 2: but I'll figured out. Yes, it's just so good. So
- 54:05Speaker 2: so basically episode four starts, we everyone is still every
- 54:08Speaker 2: one time it every time, you know, breakfast starts, everyone
- 54:11Speaker 2: is looking for smoked salmon.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Do you like smoked salmon?
- 54:13Speaker 2: By the way, I'm vegetarian. Oh yeah, I forgot good
- 54:16Speaker 2: you have been for a long time. I used to
- 54:19Speaker 2: be vegetarian and now I eat meat. But I've never
- 54:21Speaker 2: in my life before or after. I don't touch fish.
- 54:24Speaker 2: I don't like fish.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I've had like veggie smoked salmon on a bagel
- 54:30Speaker 3: and it was des like, I can I like smoky things.
- 54:33Speaker 3: So I guess I could see the appeal. But they
- 54:36Speaker 3: love on this show. They love it, they love it.
- 54:38Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know what it's made out of crack, honey.
- 54:40Speaker 3: But yeah, I just read somewhere there's like some sort
- 54:42Speaker 3: of ocean element that is like literally an element that
- 54:47Speaker 3: is like in all the things that are on the
- 54:48Speaker 3: ocean that like you know, is a certain thing, and
- 54:50Speaker 3: I think it's hyper sensitive.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I cannot do it.
- 54:54Speaker 2: But we're also getting the shots of what the night
- 54:56Speaker 2: before happened. It's like obviously a masked henchman wielding an
- 54:59Speaker 2: axe as those people I said, Ron, Kristin, Eric and
- 55:02Speaker 2: Caroline and wait, yeah, and then Lisa are tied to
- 55:08Speaker 2: a tree. Yeah, all of them waiting for obviously their fabe.
- 55:12Speaker 2: But we know Lisa is fine, she's a trader. And
- 55:16Speaker 2: then turns out that Caroline gets killed and Lisa, Renna
- 55:20Speaker 2: you know, obviously has to show her face. And Caroline
- 55:22Speaker 2: looks at Renna and she goes, Renna, you bitch, so.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Good, so good.
- 55:31Speaker 3: It's like, this is why we're here, like everybody's getting
- 55:34Speaker 3: the assignment.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Were you shocked or uh no?
- 55:39Speaker 3: I wasn't because you know, and I think they talked
- 55:40Speaker 3: about this and you brought it up too, like they
- 55:42Speaker 3: were killing too many gamers and then it had to
- 55:43Speaker 3: be a housewife. I think to throw off the scent,
- 55:47Speaker 3: but I was gagged, astonished in me. He's loved Renna's
- 55:51Speaker 3: response when she goes when Caroline goes, well, I'll see
- 55:53Speaker 3: you at bravacn Bravo con and Renna goes, no, you won't.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Oh you won't. What does that even mean? Like I'm
- 56:03Speaker 1: going to avoid you or I'm going to have you
- 56:04Speaker 1: not be there or it's so big I can like
- 56:07Speaker 1: not see you and not have to be a thing or.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Not for you. I mean Rena famously has like a
- 56:12Speaker 3: fraught relationship with Housewives because she got kicked She got
- 56:15Speaker 3: kicked out in a power struggle against Kathy Hilton the
- 56:17Speaker 3: couple of seasons.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Oh so she's saying she won't be there at all.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Kind but it came off also as like I think
- 56:23Speaker 3: we can interpret it that way, but it also felt like, no, honey,
- 56:27Speaker 3: we're not going to be friends, Like this is real,
- 56:29Speaker 3: Like I nothing's happening after this, Like I'm Lisa and
- 56:33Speaker 3: you are on Dubai London.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, oh my god, yeah yeah yeah I died
- 56:46Speaker 2: over that. So but this this situation is interesting because
- 56:51Speaker 2: obviously now there's other people involved that were around the traders,
- 56:56Speaker 2: and there's various this murdered. Okay, sorry, this has two things.
- 57:00Speaker 2: A the people that were there heard various things. And
- 57:03Speaker 2: the morning after. Because of last season with Caroline being
- 57:08Speaker 2: a trader and how fun it was, we know that
- 57:12Speaker 2: there's going to be the morning after like inquisition where
- 57:18Speaker 2: we can find out what people's details are for that
- 57:22Speaker 2: night and if there's a trader amongst them who wouldn't
- 57:28Speaker 2: give the proper.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Detail and so listen.
- 57:31Speaker 2: At this point, Lisa, who hasn't played a good game
- 57:34Speaker 2: player wise, I think, was like told to.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Prepare for this, and I was happy for her.
- 57:41Speaker 2: You think the producers told her or someone like a trader,
- 57:45Speaker 2: like maybe Camille was like, look who watched last season,
- 57:47Speaker 2: but like this is them face to face, and when
- 57:50Speaker 2: you come, they're going to like ask you questions. But
- 57:52Speaker 2: it's what happened to Caroline from Big Brother last season,
- 57:54Speaker 2: so like she're gonna have to like kind of know
- 57:56Speaker 2: what's happening. I mean, basically you would think you would
- 57:58Speaker 2: know what's happening. Like it's a setup. We all know
- 58:00Speaker 2: the scene. There's like you know, there's henchmen. They're wearing
- 58:03Speaker 2: those capes again just like they did, and you know,
- 58:06Speaker 2: and hay Ride. It's like all very similar, like you.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Would have to know how many how many, and then
- 58:11Speaker 3: like you could accidentally say like one small detail that
- 58:15Speaker 3: was totally off base and totally blow your cover, Like
- 58:18Speaker 3: when they're talking about the uh the color of the
- 58:21Speaker 3: hoods the.
- 58:21Speaker 1: Hinchmen are wearing.
- 58:22Speaker 3: I forget who, but one of the people who wasn't
- 58:24Speaker 3: a trader like says a different color than everyone else,
- 58:26Speaker 3: and everyone's like what. But I also, I have to
- 58:29Speaker 3: be honest, I did not think Renna did a good
- 58:31Speaker 3: job at that breakfast at all, Like when they too much,
- 58:36Speaker 3: too much, and then they're like, renda, what happened and
- 58:38Speaker 3: that moment where she goes, uh, I need a cup
- 58:40Speaker 3: of tea.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I need a cup of tea. Uh yeah yeahah, and then.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Like she's like so clearly smalling yes, and she seems
- 58:48Speaker 3: so much more nervous than anybody else who was like
- 58:50Speaker 3: recounting what happened to them.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Uh, you're right, she wasn't selling it. I don't think.
- 58:57Speaker 1: I guess in my mind, you're right. She didn't do
- 58:59Speaker 1: a good job.
- 58:59Speaker 2: I just surprised that she even prepared at all, Like
- 59:01Speaker 2: I was expecting to be like, oh yeah, no, I'm Tea.
- 59:07Speaker 2: And then just like I thought that she was, she did.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Then she went into full like you know, like well
- 59:11Speaker 2: there was three steps. It was three steps each, you know,
- 59:13Speaker 2: like yeah. But Ron thinks he heard a very small,
- 59:17Speaker 2: small stepped light light stepped person, and he's like, it's Moira.
- 59:22Speaker 2: I'll tell you right now. There's only there's one small
- 59:25Speaker 2: person in this world. It's Moira. I know.
- 59:26Speaker 1: I know a bird when I see one, and it's
- 59:28Speaker 1: Irish Moira. Honey, the Irish bear over there, you know,
- 59:31Speaker 1: I know. And it's like, that's interesting.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Why do you think he had that blind spot around
- 59:36Speaker 3: Candace because she's tiny too?
- 59:37Speaker 2: Oh my god, I really for some reason keep calling
- 59:39Speaker 2: Candace Camil and make me really really upset. Okay, Candace,
- 59:42Speaker 2: by the way, so sorry, half this Parson is a
- 59:44Speaker 2: house wife named Camille. I know. Half this podcast is
- 59:47Speaker 2: me having called Camille Candace. So everyone just be okay
- 59:51Speaker 2: with me. Okay, So, but yes, Candace is a tiny person. Also,
- 59:56Speaker 2: Tara's tiny, I mean, you know, like historically tiny people,
- 59:59Speaker 2: you know, like small, Yeah, yeah, that's it's He kind
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: of does mention I think maybe Tara, but like, no,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Cannice's name is never brought up, but Eric is near
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: certain that he heard a laugh. We're going to find
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: out who his laugh he's heard is. But he, you know,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: considers himself like a very trained musical ear and can
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: place a laugh very well. Do you do you have
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: faith in your in your ear?
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Hmmm, that's a good question. Yes and no.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: I'm actually hearing him parents, so I can't hear out
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: of my right ear, but my good ear, I do.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: I mean, you know, I work in audio, so like
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: I think I have a pretty good ear for detail.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I think that I would. I would be pretty confident
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: if I heard someone laugh. Yeah, but yeah, we still
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: have that. I mean, do you have a good ear?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I I think I do.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Like I think that if I can try and get
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: into like that sort of like ninja state where I'm
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: listening to just absolute breath, I think I can.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: But it's just.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm someone who also is only too happy to
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: take a strong stance in an opinion.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: If I can only to like Falter and be wrong,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you know, so I think I would basically.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: Michael Rappaport also thinks he calls it that one of
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: the hunks should be a trader, and that hunk would
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: be Rob Colton or Steven Stephen Coletti, because all of
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: them are playing a cool, cool game. To me, Colton
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: is being by far the most aggressive out of all
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: those three. Stephen is basically doing nothing, and Rob we
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: get campra time with mostly because he's a trader. But
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I wonder like, if if Rob wasn't a trader, how
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: much of Robb it would.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Be getting not much? Right?
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: I think that's why he's an excellent trader. He's really
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: I think he's by far the most skilled trader because
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: he's It's why he's blending in so well, it's why
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: he's getting up people are divulging things.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: To him like he's very neutral.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: He's like water. He can kind of just slip anywhere.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't think because he's not someone that
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: stirs the pot, and that's who gets camera time. That's
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: why the Ice Skeeters aren't getting much camera time is
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: they're not stirring the pot.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: I'll tell you one person who is Tiffany gets a
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: memo and it's like do the most. And I don't
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: know why Tiffany. I want Tiffany to do. I want
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Tiffany to do well on the show, and Tiffany's entire
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: move to get to the next part makes no sense
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: to me. But she basically recounts like I think it's
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Jam Jam, and I think it's Ron, you know, like
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: I think it's Michael Rappaport. She like puts together this
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: weaving of people. Jamjam is a gamer and basically on
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: her side, obviously Ian's gone, and to me, having seen
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: how many gamers are gone. As a gamer, I would
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: assume that there wouldn't be a gamer as a trader,
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: you know, especially now that we've done Don isn't. But
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: she doesn't. She doesn't feel like she She thinks Michael is.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: And I get that she thinks Ron is, and you know,
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: obviously that's why he's around. Everyone does. When you look
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: at the way Ron and Michael are playing from like
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: an objective place, they're not really playing good trader games.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: They're coming off too aggressive too early on, you know,
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Like when we look at the Traders, it's Rob who
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: basically is doing nothing, Lisa who has now the mark
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: of Caine on her or whatever because she's doing nothing
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: because she's hardly doing anything, and and Candice who who
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: is who has gotten into like a little skiffuffle with
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Porsche we forgot to talk about, which is like, yeah,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: she had sort of tried to lie and then Porsha
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: caught her in the line with Michael Rappaport and then
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: she kind of got out of it and then somehow
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: no one got blood on her hands with it. But
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: it at least made her like part of the game,
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: and she has stuck to this thing where she's like,
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: I'm going to always put Ron up. You're going to
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: see me play a very clear game, like I tell
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: you how I feel, and it's like the smartest to
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: me gameplay of the Traders. Besides that kerfuffle with Portio.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Wish it could have happened with anyone.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: Yes, yes, that's see, that's exactly what would make me
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: nervous about being a Trader. And I think I think
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: you do need to have like a device like that
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: to keep it simple so that you're not having to
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: like spin too many webs.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. Yeah, So basically.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: The challenge is Inner Celtic Warriors and they have to search.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: It's like a lot of the for some reason, there's
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: a bunch of go search search for things just out
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: and like there's just there's a bunch of weeds everywhere
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: on this property.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Honey, just go clean out some of those weeds this time.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Look for.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Fire lances that you're going to then pierce the shield
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: of like this large monster that's not inflamed, but you're
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: going to light it up, and then also take away
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: someone's protection.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: That's like what they name it the game is.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: And then you want to do as many of the
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: monsters as possible you get the most money, but then
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: that's the amount of people that are not safe, and.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: So everyone is.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: There's groups of four and they just start to have
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: to find a lance, then run up and then decide
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: who to appears. Mm hmm, yeah, it's sort of like
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: this person that person. At first, it's like, well, everyone's
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: gonna kill ron first.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: That's an easy one.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Yeah, And like the group thing kind of makes it
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: complicated because it's like I can't kill someone in my group,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: and then like there's the time elements, so people do
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: kind of start having to be like, I don't know,
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: just just one go, you know. Yeah, I guess that's
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: like I agree the challenges really do drag, but I
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: think they serve an important function in that, Like it's
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: a moment when the traders have to collaborate with the faithful,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: and I think it does help incite like some conflict
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: just by nature of these quick decisions they are having
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: to make.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if you have someone like Michael Rappaport who's
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: taking things very personally, and I don't. I think I
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: do take things personally too, you know. I And also
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I hold grudges, so I get it, Like if you
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: took away my shield, I would absolutely clock you to know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: who would you know, piss on me if I was
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: you know, would piss on me if I was on flames,
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: like I you know, like I think I am like that,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: So I yeah, he doesn't like that at all, and
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: he uh is visually.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Upset and basically at okay.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: So basically it's like a ten people are up or
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: whatever I was gonna I write my name is out.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Just know that, Like you know, it's just a bunch
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: of people, and Michael, Michael's one of them, but like
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: you know, everyone is, Tara Is.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: It's like a bunch of people.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: At the round table, Colton and Eric talk about their
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: suspicions and Eric lays bare that his laugh he heard
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: from the traders must have been only one person and
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: that person is fucking Tiffany.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: And Colton's aren't even thinking Tiffany because Tiffany came in.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Strong with her like very like we're gonna do this
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: per game, but this person, this person, this person which
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: is like Tiffany, Like, okay, you do also don't you
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: don't have head of household right now? This castle, you know,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: like ah, another big brother, Like you can't just tell
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: people the three people you're gonna get out and why,
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Like you have to come together as a faithful you
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: have to like plant seeds and like get other people
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: to like do your dirty work.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: You know. It's just you need to be a little
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: more backdoor about it.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: And I think that's Colton is doing that too. And
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: by the way, like I have a lot to say
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: about Colton, but his behavior is really manic. The way
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: he's so quick to jump on Tiffany, Like I it
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: freaks me out and it feels just weird and like
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: there's a lot of hubris going on there. Uh, he's
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: terrible at the game, Like he just doubles down on
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: the wrong person time after time. But also like actually
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: on my show, Pop Mystery Pod. I did like a
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: really deep dive like investigative episode about Colton, and like,
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: I don't know, you know how how much hell while
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: people remember this, but like he like really stalked the
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: woman who he chose hearing his Chassie and like I
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: went down to the courthouse and like read her restraining
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: order and like read a lot about her case. And
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: I mean he committed like some he cross lines in
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: a way that wasn't just like oh, I'm a I
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: mean he really exhibited some terrifying like predatory behavior and
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: has repeatedly been on reality show since then and she
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: has not, and so I don't know, I guess it's
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: just weird to me that he's even on this show.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: But then also like when he gets kind of manic
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: and kind of like like that he just gets this
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: look in his eye that I'm just like, ugh, I
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: don't like this.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: You're absolutely right, You're absolutely right.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: It's interesting because Monet has a moment where Monee sees
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: him and like says something flirty or whatever, and Kristin
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: clocks it, and then Kristen starts to.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Like vocalize, and.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Especially this last episode, a certain distrust of Colton as well,
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: even in the light of what we'll talk about, which
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: is like all the Allies and lovely LGBT members and
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: like anyone with a heart come together and Colton for
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Colton and in you know, and for the culture, for
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: people in humanity themselves. And yet yes, there's like the
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: dual edge where that happens. And yet Colton, you know,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: can't be trusted. So episode five, Monette Exchange is killed
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: because the traders killed him for mentioning also Lisa, he
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: had he mentioned Lisa as being suspect, and Lisa what
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: has been suspect, so and everyone knows Lisa's personality and
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: this is not what we're even seeing. So that's why
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: he's gone.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: And also the Mona, I guess, is kind of alone
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: too because there's another drag queens on there.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: You're right, yeah, but Monet is not considered a trader
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: liked drawn you know on Michael and maybe even jam
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: jam is, so like, yeah, it's easy, but it does
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: cast some traderly suspicions on Colton for Kristen, who like obviously,
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: as I said, like fields like Colton was threatened in
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: some way by the drag Race Star, which I Yeah,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: I can't wait to like if she like lays bear
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: a little more of that. The challenges they have to
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: retrieve these eight matching statues and like restore the grounds
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: water found.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: It's so fucking boring.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: But those shields, I play the most important thing about
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: this challenge is that there's a secret shield situation, which
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: is that if there's a shield, you can grab one,
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: no one know who's it to be, and then you know,
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: you can like live your life and if you grab
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: a shield, you'll be safe and everyone someone will be dead.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: But if no one grabs a shield, then everyone could
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: sleep well tonight.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Yes, what would you do?
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Okay I grab a shield?
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you wouldn't grab a shield? No, Colton and Jam Jam
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: are the only people that want to grab a shield. See,
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: bad people I know, see. And I don't know anything
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: about Jim Drum.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: I'm actually confused as th why so many people think
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: Jam Jim is a trader like he. I don't get
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: that vibe from him at all, do you you know?
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I don't I don't understand.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: Yeah to me again, because so many traders have been killed,
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I'm like, to me, there's no traders on that fucking
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: die like in that tur kit or whatever. But that right, right, yeah,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: I mean I would have wanted I wanted Okay, it's funny.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: I wanted Jamjam to be a trader before the traders
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: were picked.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: Okay, okay, yeah, I think I think he would have
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: made an excellent trader for sure.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: I agree. Maybe that's just where they're.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: Coming from, Like, yeah, yeah, because he's a gamer, he
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: gets along kind of with everyone, he's charismatic. He yeah, okay,
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: that makes sense. They just know the show and they think, oh,
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: he's like someone that they would pick.
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I would like I pick up if I would,
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: you know, yeah, yeah yeah and yeah. So basically he
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Cannice thinks that Colton's gonna pick a shield, but he doesn't.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: And at the round table, Colton comes from Michael Rapaport, and.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Michael says a bunch of things.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: He's like, you're a failed ringleader for the situation with Tiffany,
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: which makes sense, you know, and also but then everyone
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: also had like failed Portie, you know, it's interesting.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: But Michael also just keeps saying you're.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Colluding commiserating, Coulton colluding commiserating.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: You're like, oh, you're like if I'm are you am.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: I we're in a loop right now, like there's a
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: chip that just like you need to just like reboot
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: right now, Michael Rappaport, you cannot possibly keep saying the
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: same things over and over again on camera.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: But like he really, I mean, he needs to be
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: taken out off camera, needs to be taken out.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: And like, as if we needed a reason to love
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Rob Moore that moment where he goes.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Dude commiserating means to feel sorry for someone.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: I'm sorry. It was driving me insane. I was like,
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: you're the goat. You're the goat.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: No shirt, those fucking overalls you look like, so I mean,
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: do anything thing And just like, yeah, I'm just gonna
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Encyclopedias for it. He's so hot. I love him so
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: much for that. Yes, I don't think you're using that word.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: You keep using that word. I don't think you know
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: what it means. He doesn't, And then he has to
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: swallow that. Michael Rapaport has to swallow that. But then
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: he basically says this awkward thing where he in such
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: insinuates that because Colton was in the closet for a
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: number of years in that he is able to really
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: hide something. He could be a traiter because of that,
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: And I mean, that is such a very shitty thing
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: to say. And it's like, it's obviously indicative of someone
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: who has no empathy for the experience of gay people
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: and or anyone in the LGBT community who has to
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: like hide or I guess you know, anyone who has
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: to hide like a self identifying part of them because
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: of like society and what that means, and like what
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: the turmoil of that is.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: And to like obviously infantilize that by saying that he.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Was just a bad liar or could be a good
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: liar because he did that is just not the thing
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: to say to get anyone on board with voting for you, period.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: And like.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: And I love that the I do love that they
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: all kind of were like, all right, all right, it's
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: a game, but we all agree, like this guy's gotta
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: go right. Like they're like they're like, we don't care
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: if you are not, Like we just don't like you.
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: Like that's literally why we're kicking you office, because we
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: don't like you.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: So bye.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone goes around. There's some people that still vote
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: for Ron, And I found that so fascinating, like who
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: the fuck is going to vote for Ron?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Right? Goddamn now, But.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: There are some people who are like, well, I'm just
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: gonna stick like and that is what Candace does. And
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: I wonder it's because Candace is like I told you guys,
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: I would vote for Rock. But you know, I think, yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: it's interesting. I'm like, this is not the time. Basically
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: as you said, Johnny Weir is like, I don't give
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: a shit what you are. I just want you out
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: of my fucking castle, and like that is the truth,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: Like this goes beyond a game. The thing about it
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: is before he even had said that his personality was grading,
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: I would want him not there.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: I agree, but I guess and I don't like it's
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: unfortunate to me that because Michael Rappaport said this like
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: horrible homophobic thing, that it's like I that it engendered
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: like sympathy for Colton because I think because of the
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: backstory that I have around Coulton, like I feel the
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: same way around Coulton.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: I'm like, go because honestly, when he.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Was stalking Cassie, one thing he did was create a
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: fake persona with which to text Cassie. He was texting
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: her as a fake person, saying like, I'm worried about
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Colton too. What if he's stalking Colton too, and I
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: mean doing stuff like that where it's like I don't know,
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: like he's so shady too, So it's like, I don't know.
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: Just because Michael Rappaport was horror doesn't mean that Colton
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: isn't also horrible.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: I guess is my ye, you're absolutely right, and thank
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: god Kristen knows it. And the fact I don't even
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: say this, the fact that the editors end the episode
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: with that nugget means to me that in the next drop,
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: the you know, Colton's going to be like put up,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: put up or like, you know, showing a light, right.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: He couldn't not be because it's now been like the
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: failure with the thing around Tiffany. And also like, I
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: don't know, it feels kind of racist to me that
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: it seems to be like black women that they're like,
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: oh yeah, and like the thing of like mistaking Candace's
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: laugh for Tiffany is felt racist to me.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm not in for that at all.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Yep, Colton has Yeah, he's made some pretty big mistakes,
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: and I think he is grating on some people in
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: the house. So I don't see how he isn't on
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: the topping block of the next round table unless but
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: we don't. Maybe something crazy happens, like in the challenge
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: leading up to it or something, but I think it's
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: there's no way he's not.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Eric, Eric felt.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: Bad for that mistake or whatever, but you know, yeah,
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: like when that happened, it.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: Was just like, oh, you know, yeah, yeah.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I mean yeah, I'm not saying Eric is racist. I
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: don't know, do you what I mean? Though, Like it
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: just feels like there's been two black women that everyone
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: piled on.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'm surprised. I was surprised that Porsche went
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: so fast. Me too, And it's only because again, she
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: fucking shot herself on the goddamn flip. I just keep
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: by Rea, like if she.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Just had not kept saying, well, it's.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: Four traders, you know, us traders when we're all when
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: we're all together, the traders. One thing about traders. We
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: you're just like, oh my god, girl, please just like
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: do anything but talk about traders, you know.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: See, I bet I think I would. I would be
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: the porsia. I think I would do stuff like that.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I do. I don't know why.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: I can give me once, but then I think I
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: would know that I didn't be like, oh my god,
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: I fucking did that just you guys know, I know
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: I just said that, but I'm absolutely not, and then
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: I would just be hyper aware of it not do
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: it again.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: As we go on.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: That was the end of the episode. Oh yeah, obviously
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Michael's banished, as we know he's a faithful We'll see
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: what happens because Lisa Rna really doesn't have a lot
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: of like allies. You know, she keeps killing off the housewives.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Candace likes Tara and they and she's going to keep
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: Tara around because Tara has a good.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Curling iron that she likes to use. So real, so real.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, if she still had a diceon
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: or something, I'd be like, we're not person not leaving.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: And then Rob is going to keep I think Moira,
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: I'm assuming for some time because that's his boo and
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: she's hot and she's Irish.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Although if he needs to.
- 1:18:47Speaker 2: Sacrifice someone because he's going to get a trader's keeping someone,
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: I wonder what's going to happen. You know, because people
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: link him in mo Moira more than they link Candace
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: and Tara, and yeah, I don't know.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Uh yeah, I agree.
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: And you know what was interesting is like towards the
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: end of this episode, people are more people than just
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: monet or getting suspicious of Lisa, and Rob made some
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: kind of a comment of like, you know, I'd like
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: to protect my fellow Traders, but like he's kind of
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: I don't know. It kind of seemed like he wasn't
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: playing like if I need to leave them out to dry,
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: I will. So I don't know how much of an
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: alliance he feels to Candace and Lisa. Not to say
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: that he wouldn't also throw Moira under the bus, but yeah,
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: I don't. I think I almost see him like keeping
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: Moira around longer if it means I don't think he's
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: going to stick his neck out for the housewives Traders.
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: I agree, although I like their like camaraderie. Right now,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: do you think there's gold be Do you think it's
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: gonna be a Trader against Trader fight? You know, like
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: if like have we seen like getting Lisa would go
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: against Candace like you know or whatnot?
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: M well as someone who's watched a lot of Real
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: houseivives of Beverly Hills. Lisa In is very good at fighting,
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: very good at it, and you will lose, you will lose.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: That's what I'm like.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: She's gonna she's gonna have a moment where they start
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: to go at her at the round table, and then
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: how is she gonna come out swinging?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: And who is she gonna try and take down with her?
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: I know because actually what she's the way she's showing
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: her ass is like she's terrible under pressure, kind of
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: like she's too fast, she doesn't know how to like
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: rein it in. So I could see her just like
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: blurting out something out of left field that just like
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: really screws her over.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: I agreed, Yeah, absolutely easily. Only too easily, you know. Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: and now and again because there's also people like me
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: and other people being like, you have to talk more.
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: So now they're telling her to talk more. She has
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: to fucking choose her words, honey, like meticulously, like she
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: has to put every word through a rice sifter, and
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: that shit's hard.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Completely. I don't do it. I just put the rice
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: right in the pot. Oh yeah, I want to wash
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: the rice, honey, it is pour it in.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: I don't I eyeballs, not a cup, I don't, I
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: don't measure I thank you.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry.
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: I'm not washing rice that's gonna be sterilized by boiling water.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I don't you know why would? Yeah, it's no, but no,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: Oh and there's also the thing we don't know yet
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: if anyone took the immunity, so they may not get
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: to kill someone. And that was the clippinger, right, yeah, Like,
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: so do you think that they're going to kill someone?
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: Like I think that will determine how long Lisa sticks around.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: See, that was confusing to me.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: I'm glad you brought it up, because what happens is
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: when they go to the turret or whatever. I think
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: Rob asks Candace, like, did anyone take a shield or whatever?
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: And I thought Candace said no, Like I thought Colton
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: was going to but he didn't or whatever, And I
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: don't know if that's just a guess, and they actually
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: don't know if someone did until they go to kill
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: someone and then they realize, So it's a little I
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: was a little confused by that.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: But yeah, I don't think that they have shown, like
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: us the audience, how much they are telling the Traders yet,
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: like I think I bet we'll find out at the
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: beginning of this next episode, like what the Traders know?
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Okay, good to know. Yeah, that's the end of my love.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: Oh my god, tests so much for talking for an
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: hour and almost thirty minutes about the first five episodes
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: of Trader season four.

- 1:22:13Speaker 1: there's no better way to spend O Wednesday evening. Chris.
