City council taps Devine Nzegwu for District 1 vacancy
A new face has joined the Madison city council, after alders unanimously backed Devine Nzegwu’s appointment Tuesday to represent the far west side. Six candidates interviewed for the seat, which opened up when District 1’s former alder John Duncan resigned earlier this summer. Nzegwu, a credit analyst at John Deere Financial, has been tapped to serve the remaining eight months of his term. She joined our News Producer Faye Parks this afternoon to introduce herself to District 1 constituents and the city of Madison at large. Image courtesy: In Business Madison.
