  [SPEAKER_00]: Number six practice where you're out there a little longer today than you were yesterday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In pads, full pads for the second straight day.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I'll tell you what.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that that was the worst offensive practice that I have seen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you have to start like racking your brain, thinking back to it, gosh.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, probably since 2021, probably the worst offensive practice I've seen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not to say there was no an executing, there was no one doing a good job, but as a whole, the Jaguar's offense, particularly the Jaguar's starting offense did not perform well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Think the Jaguar's defense 100% set the tone up front at the line of scrimmage and just against the run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they were not happy with how they performed yesterday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Lewis talked about that after practice yesterday, against the Ron getting the pads on all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they swarmed to the football, they attacked, they wore the aggressors today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's defense 100%.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to the Jaguar's passing attack, there was a lot of miscuse.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was a fair amount of pressure on the quarterbacks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And there were some air at throes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a really bad day for the offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have to give credit to the defense for bringing it for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But overall, I think that the offense had some opportunities that were just missed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of one on once, there was a lot of 11 on 11, a lot of physicality.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Eric Armstrong said had a veterans day off.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have had, that's his second one so far.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've talked about how they're going to have some scheduled veterans day off for Eric Armstrong.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chris Rodriguez kind of had a scheduled,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Day off and kind of his ramp up to being full go again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was able to practice yesterday in full pads and he had kind of a scheduled day off just again trying to get him to be 100% for when it counts, which is obviously the regular season.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Colving layments still on the pup, doing things off to the side, looking good in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and then Christian Braswell, still working off to the side during the team portion of practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We will go ahead and get right into Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguar starters kind of what happened there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It felt off throughout the entirety of the practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Usually, you can look to Parker Washington to be like that studying presence.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But even that today, that connection was not consistent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Trevor Lawrence was three of 13 by my count today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was, I mean, I guess it's a note.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had a compression sleeve on his throwing arm today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's the first time you've seen it this training camp, but he certainly practiced at times during training camp last year with a compression sleeve on as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Probably more nothing than anything, but his first throw was a completion of Parker Washington, and then second throw Branson

  [SPEAKER_00]: He got around Anton Harrison, who was playing left tackle again today.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that play where Anton got beat by BJ Green, Antonio Johnson picked off the pass over the middle of the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it was laid over the middle of the field and you just can't have that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Antonio Johnson got his first interception of camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That was awesome to see him being able to make a play red zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They got into some red zone work after that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jarian had a tight coverage, you know, Parker Washington probably should have caught it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's kind of put it up for Parker Washington who got it and brought it in and then couldn't bring it in through the ground.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The next play was a touchdown to Brian Thomas Jr., after a scrambled drill.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people would probably chalk that one up to, oh, that would have been a sack in the game, but the offensive line was doing their job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like no one had to pull up, no one had to stop it didn't look like Trevor Lawrence running around, making a play, finding Brian Thomas Jr. on the goal line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The next one was a incompletion kind of going down field to Parker Washington.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a miscommunication, maybe just a misthro.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The next one was a Parker Washington drop and you're now out of the red zone drill just going down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington dropped Jordan Lewis probably would have sat Trevor Lawrence on that one, had a blitz obviously.

  [SPEAKER_00]: disrupts a Parker Washington play, it looks like maybe a drop.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just not a great day for Trevor Lawrence and Parker Washington.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The next play, it looked like a touchdown for my vantage point, but I was like all the way across the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was Trevor Lawrence to Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: looked like a touchdown grabbed me, but the referee rolled out of bounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So another one where there was a lot of pressure, then his guard act might have got a sack on that one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was just missed opportunity after missed opportunity, defense doing enough to disrupt and make them uncomfortable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then you got some end of Gamework, Trevor Lawrence, Mr. Chicobe Myers, there was tight coverage by Jabarmun Hamid on that play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Another miscommunication with Parker Washington, then you did have a completion to Parker Washington.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I guess they got enough yards to get into Camlittle field goal range.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three of 13, one touchdown, one interception.

  [SPEAKER_00]: On the six days of training camp so far, which again, I always preface this with, I don't think counting a quarterbacks statistics during training camp is a useful tool, but people want to hear it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's 45 of 79, nine touchdowns, three interceptions.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And his completion percentage was around 63 after yesterday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Today, after a three of 13 performance, obviously way down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be one of those practices where, you know, Liam Cohen was not on the mic after practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was Anthony Camponele.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't really interesting to hear what Liam Cohen had to say after this practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Because again, the passing game didn't get going.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think a lot of that was the defense being a little disruptive but also just missed opportunities from Trevor Lawrence and the receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then the run defense kind of felt like it had easily it's best day and dominated after a day yesterday where they were disappointed by their performance.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan Thomas Jr. did have a drop in one-on-one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He still hasn't had a drop though in the team portion of practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I saw worth him get an open a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: had again a really great past coverage rep against Jacobi Myers in 11 on 11.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had a past break-up slashing reception, they didn't really rule on it, but he got his hands on the football in one-on-ones and then he had another past break-up later on in 11 on 11.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, getting into some notes from 11 on 11 just for the rest of the team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Amir Abdullah had a couple of really nice runs early on, showing good vision and pace and kind of agility in the open field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, he caught a screen and ran with it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That was his only catch of the day.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I believe in 11 on 11, Branson Combs, another pass break up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's been playing excellent ball for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: CJ Williams had a diving grab, touchdown was ruled by the referee a touchdown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think that he got both feet down and I was very close to that one, but obviously don't have the benefit of replay.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Middle of practice, the new linebacker they signed, Bartlett, on Sunday, he went down with an injury, had to get carted off, was one of those moments where the entire team stops what they're doing, gets down on a knee,

  [SPEAKER_00]: We'll have to wait and see kind of what happened there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Definitely don't want to speculate.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Basel II and even though usually he was getting wrapped up close to the line of screenings, he did have a couple strong runs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So like that kind of continues his performance of even on a day where the defense clearly won against the run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Hunter Long don't get to mention him a ton as you know there's just a lot of other tight ends in the mix now, but he had multiple catches on the day so that was good for him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travelling Walker had a would-be sack.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Josh Cameron had a really nice contested grab with Buster Brown and tight coverage.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Eric Murray intercepted Nick Mullins, so Mullins through multiple interceptions on the day.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Both of your Jaguar starting safeties got interceptions on the day.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Eric Murray against Nick Mullins Antonio Johnson against Trevor Lawrence.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Cam Little, when they were doing that end of game, drill stuff, he was four of four in those situations in team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A dominant day by the defense where the offense kind of got in their own way at times, but the defense really was the instigator.
