- 0:12Speaker 1: Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds and Rough
- 0:15Speaker 1: with Myself Teddy Mellencamp and and I am Erica Jane. Oh,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Erica Jane.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Holding on by a thread.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I was like, hold on, what's the grabbing of this?
- 0:25Speaker 1: You know what?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Okay?
- 0:28Speaker 3: First off, let me be fully transparent. When I think
- 0:31Speaker 3: about why I'm frustrated. I look at you, and I'm like, Erica,
- 0:33Speaker 3: you can't be frustrated about anything. But I was just
- 0:36Speaker 3: feeling a little frustrated this week. I worked a lot
- 0:39Speaker 3: this last month, and I was just anyway and just
- 0:42Speaker 3: being a brat.
- 0:43Speaker 1: But I think we're You're just because I'm going through
- 0:46Speaker 1: a lot doesn't mean that you can't be a brat.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It's not one is a codependent of the other.
- 0:52Speaker 2: No, I'm not so sure about that.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I think that you have to for me anyway, look
- 0:57Speaker 3: at my I have to look at my own behavior
- 0:59Speaker 3: and be like, yeah, I'm justified and feeling how I am,
- 1:01Speaker 3: But but you.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Can also go like I also realized that some of
- 1:07Speaker 1: the things that I get upset and frustrated about that
- 1:10Speaker 1: hurt me the most aren't even the big things that
- 1:13Speaker 1: I really am actually frustrated.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I actually kind of understand that, though it's oftentimes the
- 1:18Speaker 3: little things that take you to places where you're like,
- 1:20Speaker 3: why am I even reacting this way?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Why am I so fucking why am I?
- 1:23Speaker 2: Because it's not really about that.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I mean, I was racing around and doing a bunch
- 1:27Speaker 1: of stuff this weekend. But when I got into the car,
- 1:30Speaker 1: and granted somebody else was driving me, so it's not
- 1:33Speaker 1: even like I have a reason for it. But normally
- 1:35Speaker 1: it takes an hour to get to Orange County to
- 1:37Speaker 1: LA I was trying to get to you know, Kyle's
- 1:41Speaker 1: house for the party. Yeah, and it's a two hours
- 1:45Speaker 1: and I would have had one would have thought someone
- 1:47Speaker 1: punched me in the throat.
- 1:48Speaker 3: But can I tell you, I'm not going through what
- 1:51Speaker 3: you're going through. And I would have had a nervous
- 1:52Speaker 3: breakdown on that, Like I just I can't. There's certain
- 1:55Speaker 3: things that take me to a place two hours. First
- 1:58Speaker 3: of all, from Orange County to Los Ange. This is ridiculous.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and Orange County.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Is great, it's beautiful, but why does it take us
- 2:05Speaker 3: two hours?
- 2:06Speaker 1: And there was so many accidents and then I'm like, Teddy,
- 2:08Speaker 1: you should actually feel bad for the people that got
- 2:10Speaker 1: these that's true. However, however, I'm fucking annoyed because I
- 2:14Speaker 1: plan this day out perfectly right.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And it's that also.
- 2:17Speaker 3: That's also why I think that I rake myself over
- 2:20Speaker 3: the goals. It's just like, Erica, what the fuck do
- 2:22Speaker 3: you have to be upset? Yes, you have problems. We
- 2:23Speaker 3: all have problems. Everybody in life has problems, but you know,
- 2:27Speaker 3: compared to others, your problems are manageable and you're fine
- 2:31Speaker 3: and they're yours.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So get over it.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, that's how I feel, and I'm certainly not sometimes
- 2:35Speaker 3: describing that for everybody.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you're allowed to.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Have a go you know what, This is fucking shit,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and I'm pissed and I'm annoyed.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Well also too, I've gotten to where I removed myself
- 2:45Speaker 3: from situations before I go and make everybody else pay
- 2:48Speaker 3: for whatever is going on in my life.
- 2:49Speaker 1: That's not why I didn't see the other night.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yes, that's why I was totally tired and depleted, and
- 2:54Speaker 3: I reached out and I said.
- 2:58Speaker 2: No, yeah, not no, but like no, because I don't
- 3:02Speaker 2: want to be and.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I think that's important, I think, but you.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Know where this comes from. I was gonna say, you
- 3:08Speaker 3: know where this comes from. This is very and ladies,
- 3:13Speaker 3: this is very perry post, this is very postmenopausal. This
- 3:18Speaker 3: is menopausal behavior for me because I normally would have
- 3:20Speaker 3: thugged it out and I've been a pain in the
- 3:23Speaker 3: ass and now I'm just like, I know I can't
- 3:25Speaker 3: do it.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I know I can't do it.
- 3:27Speaker 3: I can't and everybody's gonna pay for me not being
- 3:31Speaker 3: in the mood and that's not right for everybody.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Well, to make you laugh, I caught Lisa Renna trying
- 3:36Speaker 1: to sneak out.
- 3:37Speaker 2: See here you go.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I go, I'm sitting there, say that's what I'm talking about,
- 3:42Speaker 3: and I doing the old Irish exit.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, she tried to do the Irish goodbye and don't
- 3:47Speaker 1: I couldn't let her be, but I didn't.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You're not letting anybody get away with them.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Was like, hey, Renna, is that you sneaking out? I
- 3:55Speaker 1: think you got to put at least fifteen more minutes
- 3:57Speaker 1: then have a seat.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Oh god, And she was like, I've been the look
- 4:01Speaker 2: on her face, I know.
- 4:03Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:04Speaker 1: And then her other friend that she drove with, she goes,
- 4:07Speaker 1: were you not going to tell me?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Oh my?
- 4:10Speaker 1: She was like, I was going to text you since
- 4:12Speaker 1: I got in the car. But we all do that shit, yes,
- 4:15Speaker 1: and granted I did it one hour later.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Well, it's also a family event. Yeah, and you're also
- 4:20Speaker 3: you know, and I couldn't even show up to the
- 4:23Speaker 3: family event because I was being a loser.
- 4:26Speaker 1: You weren't being a loser. You just sometimes the power
- 4:29Speaker 1: of no is more important than the power Well, I
- 4:31Speaker 1: think the power of me knowing.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I know where I'm at in my limit, and
- 4:37Speaker 3: I was ready to rage on anything that was not
- 4:41Speaker 3: It's just it's not healthy.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And your version of raging would that be ignoring somebody.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Or being snappy snappy? It's being snappy. It's being snappy
- 4:50Speaker 3: and irritable and just kind of bitchy. And that's not
- 4:55Speaker 3: the person that I want to be with my friends.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And that she just wasn't showing up.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you were like, come on, you hear no.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah, she's not showing up. I you know.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I mean, I broke down in tears, and it was
- 5:09Speaker 3: just like the whole thing stupid.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But when you cry, do you call anybody? Well?
- 5:15Speaker 3: I used to call my mother and then you know,
- 5:17Speaker 3: we had a falling out and I didn't speak to
- 5:18Speaker 3: her for a year over it, so no, Yeah, I mean, well,
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'm not going to call my son ever, because number one,
- 5:25Speaker 3: he's my child, and number two, he doesn't need that,
- 5:27Speaker 3: so that's not happening. I don't lean on him like that.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But no, because I don't. I don't need to put
- 5:34Speaker 3: that on my mother. She's going through her own thing.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I'm not going to put it on my friends.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I just I just really, you know what I really do.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I sit down and I try to meditate, and I
- 5:46Speaker 3: try to connect with the higher power and I just
- 5:49Speaker 3: kind of take it up with that, take it up
- 5:51Speaker 3: with the creator, take it up with God, because I
- 5:54Speaker 3: don't need.
- 5:55Speaker 2: To or my therapist.
- 5:58Speaker 3: But she's you know, that's a that's an appointment, and
- 6:01Speaker 3: that's if I was going through something like devastating.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Then I would text my therapist.
- 6:05Speaker 3: But she doesn't need me to text her because I'm
- 6:07Speaker 3: having a small shitty day to get over at Erica.
- 6:10Speaker 2: You know, come on, it's not that n.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Plus, like I did just learn this, which I didn't
- 6:14Speaker 1: even know. In regards to therapy, I thought, you, like,
- 6:17Speaker 1: go to therapy for the rest of your life.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I do, but I need that.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but somebody told me that therapy is something that
- 6:25Speaker 1: when you're talking to your therapist and you're just shooting
- 6:28Speaker 1: the shit.
- 6:29Speaker 2: That's not therapy.
- 6:30Speaker 1: That's not therapy anymore. So you need to if you're
- 6:33Speaker 1: not actually talking to them.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Well, you know, I come in with a list of
- 6:36Speaker 2: questions every.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Time you do.
- 6:38Speaker 3: That's smart, not not well, let me let me clarify.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Not every time, but I definitely will write out things
- 6:46Speaker 3: and be like, I need to talk, I want to talk.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I have four things i'd like to hit today, and
- 6:50Speaker 3: she'll go, okay, let's start, and then she'll be like,
- 6:52Speaker 3: all right, we need to pick these other two up
- 6:54Speaker 3: later because there's a lot of work here.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I make list because I I am at the place
- 7:00Speaker 3: in my life like this can't be it. I'm just
- 7:02Speaker 3: very I don't know whether you know. I'm talking about
- 7:06Speaker 3: it with my son. I said, you know, like, I'm
- 7:09Speaker 3: I'm at this weird place in my life because you're
- 7:11Speaker 3: you're searching for something, and I am. I'm searching for
- 7:14Speaker 3: what is this all about? This can't be it?
- 7:17Speaker 1: And but some days I can. I can feel that
- 7:20Speaker 1: way too. But some days I feel like, Wow, what
- 7:23Speaker 1: an amazing life this is right now? Same And then
- 7:26Speaker 1: some days I'm like, am I depressed?
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yes, the answer is yes, you are.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm like and if it's and if someone in
- 7:33Speaker 3: your shoes was not depressed, that that would be insane
- 7:37Speaker 3: and not truthful.
- 7:39Speaker 2: You have a lot on your plate. Yeah, I have
- 7:42Speaker 2: a lot of insight.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Then you start to go through schedules, and then you
- 7:46Speaker 1: start to be business and then it's like, holy shit, do.
- 7:49Speaker 3: You have a hard time flipping between being creative and
- 7:51Speaker 3: then being business minded?
- 7:53Speaker 2: Like?
- 7:53Speaker 3: I know that, Like, sometimes it's hard for me to
- 7:56Speaker 3: do administrative things and look at the business of what
- 7:59Speaker 3: I'm doing versus being in a creative state.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Do you find that, Yeah, well, I started realizing that
- 8:04Speaker 1: if I if it's not something i'm good at, I
- 8:07Speaker 1: do much better when I hire someone else sure to
- 8:10Speaker 1: those things. But then I pick a day where I
- 8:13Speaker 1: kind of go through it. Let's say it's like the
- 8:15Speaker 1: financial of course, Like I'll pick a day and I
- 8:18Speaker 1: don't want it to be the same day that I'm
- 8:20Speaker 1: doing the pot.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Right, I pick one day a week where nothing I
- 8:23Speaker 3: focus on is nothing but what has to get done
- 8:26Speaker 3: financially around the house. Things like that that have nothing
- 8:29Speaker 3: to do with being in a creative space.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Running a millionaires. Yes, all those types of things like
- 8:33Speaker 1: I wouldn't do that today. Like today, No, you need
- 8:36Speaker 1: to be.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Focused here, and you need to be lively, and you
- 8:38Speaker 3: need to be engaged here, and I don't if.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I thought about, Oh well, I got to get to
- 8:42Speaker 1: the DMV after this, because by the way, do you
- 8:44Speaker 1: have the updated.
- 8:45Speaker 2: No I don't, but I'm using my passport. Oh, my
- 8:48Speaker 2: global entry. Why I've already been through. I've already been
- 8:51Speaker 2: through TSA with the.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Well, guys, this is a little PSA. If you haven't
- 8:55Speaker 1: gotten the new idea with like the special little thing
- 8:57Speaker 1: on top you have to bring your passport to travel.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You didn't know that.
- 9:01Speaker 1: No, I was in the hospital Erica.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I didn't know I needed that going on for like
- 9:05Speaker 3: ten years though, But this is just fresh.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yes, the limit is.
- 9:10Speaker 3: But what I want to know is, and maybe somebody
- 9:12Speaker 3: what was wrong with the other IDs? They weren't real? Like, yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 3: what a fuck? You have my fingerprint already, so what
- 9:19Speaker 3: is what is this.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Next time I have to take a test?
- 9:22Speaker 3: I have a global entry, I have TSA pre I
- 9:25Speaker 3: have prints on file for multiple reasons. No, I've never
- 9:28Speaker 3: been arrested, so that's not it, but other reasons, and
- 9:31Speaker 3: so you know, you know, listen, the United States of
- 9:35Speaker 3: America knows who the fuck Erica Girardi is. I can
- 9:38Speaker 3: tell you that right now. You know when I'm coming
- 9:40Speaker 3: through there, you're.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Not sneaking round. Can I ask you another question?
- 9:43Speaker 2: Because I'm in a great mood.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Let's well, that's I really am confused on one of
- 9:49Speaker 1: Tamra's answers to our last questions. So we were recapping
- 9:53Speaker 1: Secret Lives of Mormon.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Why.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Oh, I was like, what do you mean?
- 9:56Speaker 1: No, no, no, we were watching Secret Lives of Mormon
- 9:59Speaker 1: Why And I said, have you ever done any of
- 10:01Speaker 1: the following things? And one of the following things that
- 10:03Speaker 1: I have done in my life is, okay, have you
- 10:07Speaker 1: ever had sex with your partner or a person a
- 10:12Speaker 1: partner with another couple having sex in the same room.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I mean, I would have to go way back to
- 10:21Speaker 2: high school.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I know, it's like nineteen and I think it happened.
- 10:26Speaker 1: And I said it and everybody was like.
- 10:28Speaker 3: What, Yeah, I would have to go way back to
- 10:31Speaker 3: maybe high school. I think a girlfriend of mine met
- 10:33Speaker 3: these two German soccer players and they were staying in
- 10:37Speaker 3: a hotel and maybe we had sex with them like
- 10:40Speaker 3: in uh.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Like the same room but separate beds. That's like that.
- 10:46Speaker 2: But I'm I mean that would have to go way back.
- 10:48Speaker 3: But I was in high school, and yes I was
- 10:51Speaker 3: very mature then I still am.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Okay, well I at least feel slightly better. Mine might
- 10:58Speaker 1: have been two beds and may have been the same bed,
- 11:00Speaker 1: may have been one of us throw a blanket on
- 11:02Speaker 1: the floor.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Yes I like that, but yeah, but I think I
- 11:05Speaker 2: was they try to shame you for doing that.
- 11:07Speaker 1: I mean, they didn't try to shame me, but everybody
- 11:09Speaker 1: else was like no, never in the same room. And
- 11:12Speaker 1: I'm like, I wasn't even paying attention to what.
- 11:14Speaker 3: The other I to have another place, right, we were
- 11:18Speaker 3: trying to get it in.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Here's the other thing. Look I I and also where
- 11:22Speaker 2: I'm at in.
- 11:23Speaker 3: My life, like I don't really care. You know what
- 11:26Speaker 3: people do with their own consenting adult relationships. Knock yourselves out.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I have no judgment. Hooray for you to consenting adults
- 11:37Speaker 3: or more consenting adults.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But if you only got a one bedroom sometimes you
- 11:42Speaker 1: got to figure it out.
- 11:43Speaker 3: It's it's you know, live and let live, and as
- 11:46Speaker 3: long as everybody is healthy and happy and in control,
- 11:49Speaker 3: and nobody's being you know, forced to do something coerced.
- 11:54Speaker 1: And it is what it is.
- 11:55Speaker 2: It is what it is. All right, you're ready for
- 12:08Speaker 2: your Q and I yeah, I am.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Okay, listen, it says this is for all for Teddy,
- 12:12Speaker 3: this is her Q. And I I see you're getting tattoos.
- 12:15Speaker 3: What's one major thing that you want to start the
- 12:17Speaker 3: next chapter of your life after beating these tumors.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I would say, yes, I've gotten tattoos. I've gotten a
- 12:23Speaker 1: bunch of tattoos, which people would say.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I saw one on your spine.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I have one on my spine, so my dad. So
- 12:29Speaker 1: this is why there has been so many tattoos. So
- 12:33Speaker 1: I have this little knife.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I was that was there, you were there for that witness.
- 12:36Speaker 1: So I got this little knife. And it's because if
- 12:39Speaker 1: everybody can remember the song I think I like this
- 12:42Speaker 1: little life. It became a joke in my family. It's
- 12:45Speaker 1: I think I like this little knife and.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So and you almost had me get one.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I've almost almost convinced Erica. But it's like you get
- 12:54Speaker 1: annoyed and then you're like this, and everyone that knows
- 12:57Speaker 1: who knows that means like I want a knife. I
- 13:00Speaker 1: want a knife. But each time that one of my
- 13:03Speaker 1: family members has come into town to get knife, including myself,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I have gotten another tattoo. So I have my kids initials.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I have this match that I joke with Kyle and
- 13:14Speaker 1: Jen because we got a friendship one that it looks
- 13:17Speaker 1: like a a Q tip.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It does a little bit, it looks like a cut.
- 13:21Speaker 2: That's a cute tip.
- 13:23Speaker 1: But then I my dad came into town to get
- 13:25Speaker 1: his little knife, which by the way, looks like a sword.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I would expect nothing less. But remember he also covered
- 13:31Speaker 3: up your mom's face with Jesus.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That is a true statement. He goes, what should we
- 13:36Speaker 1: do with this? He asked the tattoo guy because it
- 13:38Speaker 1: was the same guy. Oh, Wes, yeah, Wes. You guys,
- 13:41Speaker 1: here's the best going.
- 13:42Speaker 2: He's really sweet.
- 13:43Speaker 1: He's really sweet and really talented and like a true
- 13:46Speaker 1: true artist.
- 13:47Speaker 2: He's a nice guy.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Of course, my dad and West really hit it off.
- 13:50Speaker 1: But that's when they came up with this sword that
- 13:52Speaker 1: I was like, I'm sorry, I don't know how this
- 13:54Speaker 1: is knife. And then my brother on the other hand,
- 13:56Speaker 1: got a knife like a switchblade like this big on
- 13:59Speaker 1: his okay, and that's when I got. My dad goes,
- 14:04Speaker 1: I will only get the knife if you get a
- 14:07Speaker 1: tattoo with my lyrics somewhere on your body.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Is that what that is? Because I just glanced which lyrics.
- 14:14Speaker 1: So it says life is short, even on its longest days.
- 14:20Speaker 1: And it goes down my back. And the thing about
- 14:23Speaker 1: my toutoo is pretty much all of them can be covered.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I like. I like the fact that, like I have.
- 14:29Speaker 2: My watch on, you can't see well they're yes.
- 14:31Speaker 1: The one on my back I think is actually probably
- 14:34Speaker 1: my new favorite is beautiful. And I have so many
- 14:36Speaker 1: scars all over my back that it kind of just
- 14:41Speaker 1: broke it up a little bit. I like it, and
- 14:42Speaker 1: I can't see it, but I would imagine it's cute.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Listen, scars tell stories, okay, and you've got a lot
- 14:47Speaker 3: of stories to tell.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Edwin made me laugh because I go, I mean, I
- 14:51Speaker 1: can't even He goes, you got another tattoo, and I go,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I can't even see it, and he goes, well, someone
- 14:55Speaker 1: will be able to see it.
- 14:56Speaker 3: What are you gonna What are you gonna start? You
- 15:00Speaker 3: think you'd like to start the next chapter of your
- 15:02Speaker 3: life after these tumors.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I want to learn how to do something new, like
- 15:05Speaker 1: what like I want to learn how to like dance,
- 15:08Speaker 1: oh fun, or I want to learn how to become
- 15:10Speaker 1: a better singer.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Which, by the way, yes, it's in your blood.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Like I want to take the time and like get lessons. Yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 1: And like I love riding horses. I have goals doing that,
- 15:23Speaker 1: but like it's kind of now slates thing that I
- 15:25Speaker 1: just kind of tag along with.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, but you need something new to like reinvigorate. Yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And I want to like find like the apal like
- 15:32Speaker 1: not just like my sex appeal, but I want to
- 15:34Speaker 1: find like your voice more natural in my movement. And
- 15:37Speaker 1: it's not for not for anything for the public. But
- 15:40Speaker 1: like I recorded a demo when I was like seventeen
- 15:43Speaker 1: years old, and I listened to it and I was like,
- 15:45Speaker 1: holy crap, that is terrible.
- 15:47Speaker 2: That's no really, were you being hard on yourself?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Or I mean it shows that I had potentially right.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So listen, raw talent is just that, it's like you
- 15:56Speaker 3: got to polish it that if you got raw talent,
- 15:59Speaker 3: it just takes.
- 16:00Speaker 1: And I may not want it for anything other than
- 16:02Speaker 1: I love to write music.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Hold on, you should be living your life for yourself. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 3: and you don't have to explain why you're doing anything
- 16:08Speaker 3: for anybody.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But I love to write music. I have like twenty
- 16:11Speaker 1: songs that I've written.
- 16:13Speaker 3: I love to hear this and oh my god, Seddie,
- 16:15Speaker 3: I want so I but I don't know how to write.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I know how to write the lyrics, but I don't
- 16:21Speaker 1: know how to do.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Music the music. So is this where John comes in?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Well, that's where he was like, well, we can do
- 16:28Speaker 1: it together.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Actually it's kind of cool.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, So just different things that I can do with FaceTime.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's easy ways to do and plus, like,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm at a place now where I just want to
- 16:40Speaker 1: see my family and my friends as much as I
- 16:42Speaker 1: can because I appreciate them so much more than I
- 16:45Speaker 1: did before.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Of course, I appreciate everything. Do you have a keyboard?
- 16:49Speaker 1: I don't.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna get you one free birthday, Okay.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It's coming. Our birthdays are coming now, I know our birthday.
- 16:55Speaker 3: I'm not going to get you like some fancy keyboards,
- 16:57Speaker 3: So John, don't go out by me on a keyboard.
- 16:59Speaker 2: But we need to get you a keyboard for your birthday,
- 17:01Speaker 2: just so I can. Yeah, so you.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Can just pick out little melodies whatever. You can just
- 17:06Speaker 3: start playing little things.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I just want to do something new and I don't
- 17:09Speaker 1: want to get stagnant.
- 17:11Speaker 3: No, right exactly. And there's something about look that creativity.
- 17:15Speaker 3: You can unlock all of these things, and you should
- 17:19Speaker 3: really do that.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll get you a keyboard for a birth And.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Let's be honest. I'm not going to go to school
- 17:23Speaker 1: and get any kind of license or I don't want
- 17:25Speaker 1: to learn any of that. I don't care.
- 17:26Speaker 3: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if I'm going to
- 17:28Speaker 3: pick something singer dance perfect. I love it singing and dancing.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Question number two. I recently suffered a health crisis myself
- 17:34Speaker 3: and find myself slipping into all a depression. What do
- 17:38Speaker 3: you do to protect your mental health? But I got
- 17:40Speaker 3: to tell you something, yours, I've never seen anything like you.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I just even hearing that, I could start crying. But
- 17:49Speaker 1: I think the main reason was somebody told me. And
- 17:53Speaker 1: I saw somebody actually at Kyle's the other night who
- 17:56Speaker 1: told me that his wife had the same thing as me,
- 17:59Speaker 1: and she is about six months post and he's like
- 18:04Speaker 1: he didn't even realize it that I had it. I mean,
- 18:06Speaker 1: he realized something was going on. He's like, but she's
- 18:09Speaker 1: you know, fallen into it a pretty dark place, and
- 18:13Speaker 1: but you know, they said she'll probably come out of
- 18:16Speaker 1: it in about six months. I'm like, so how long
- 18:18Speaker 1: has she been in it? And he's like six months?
- 18:21Speaker 1: And I think where I I don't know, I guess
- 18:25Speaker 1: lucked out, or whether whether or not I knew it
- 18:28Speaker 1: or not. Because my tumors came and they were such
- 18:31Speaker 1: a surprise to me, I never let myself slow down
- 18:35Speaker 1: because I didn't really understand the magnitude of it. It's
- 18:38Speaker 1: not like where you know, years and years in advance, like, oh,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I've got these tumors forming, if they get to this size,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to do this over your earth. No,
- 18:46Speaker 1: it was just like bam, okay, this is why you
- 18:48Speaker 1: have the headaches. Okay, now you're gonna have massive surgery. Okay,
- 18:51Speaker 1: now you're gonna be in the hospital for sixteen days.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And I came out and I would say the first
- 18:56Speaker 1: five days, I was so brutally depressed. Oh I can't rude.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I mean I could cry just thinking about it. I
- 19:03Speaker 1: didn't want to see anyone. I didn't want to see
- 19:05Speaker 1: my friends. I didn't want to see my kids. I
- 19:07Speaker 1: didn't want to see Edwin. I was broken.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 19:11Speaker 1: And then I just said to my dad and to
- 19:15Speaker 1: my friends, I said, I need to get out of here,
- 19:19Speaker 1: like and I don't want you guys Microman like I
- 19:21Speaker 1: want to go to lunch.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yep, I want to live.
- 19:23Speaker 1: And I want I said, can somebody go, like get
- 19:26Speaker 1: me some decent clothes because nothing fits. So I think,
- 19:32Speaker 1: no matter how I'm feeling, yes, listen to your body.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But if you're feeling sad or you're feeling depressed, find
- 19:38Speaker 1: something that you can go do that makes you feel alive.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Because my doctor even said to me, he goes, I
- 19:45Speaker 1: feel like the reason you're doing as well as you're
- 19:47Speaker 1: doing is because you have fought for every single thing.
- 19:54Speaker 1: And he's like, and your body knows it wants to
- 19:57Speaker 1: be live. Yep, you're telling it every single day. And
- 20:00Speaker 1: he said, I want to be very clear about something.
- 20:02Speaker 1: There's nothing that you could do right now that could
- 20:06Speaker 1: get you to the point where it would make you
- 20:08Speaker 1: worse off.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So I go, so could I go skydiving tomorrow? And
- 20:12Speaker 1: he's like, I mean not that I want to.
- 20:14Speaker 2: He's like yeah, yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 1: He's like you hurting yourself or you injuring yourself isn't
- 20:19Speaker 1: going to be any different than anybody else in the world.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So if that's something a dream of yours, go do it.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Go do it. Wow, anything that's going to generate happiness
- 20:29Speaker 1: for you and keep away from stress. And I found
- 20:31Speaker 1: that there was a couple of people in my life.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Did you cut them out?
- 20:34Speaker 1: That just added to my stress and were always negative
- 20:37Speaker 1: nancies about everything, And I just was like, listen, if
- 20:41Speaker 1: this is what you want to talk about, I don't
- 20:43Speaker 1: want to talk to you.
- 20:45Speaker 2: That's wonderful.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm healing. Well, you've got a Yeah, I'm healing, and
- 20:50Speaker 1: I don't want to hear it. I don't care what
- 20:53Speaker 1: so and so said on the internet. I don't care
- 20:56Speaker 1: what you read and so and so's book. That's not
- 20:59Speaker 1: a Whatever I'm doing is working for me, and I
- 21:03Speaker 1: don't need your two cents.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yes, exactly.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And that has helped me because I think a lot
- 21:08Speaker 1: and especially you know, if she's struggling or he's struggling
- 21:12Speaker 1: is dependent on what somebody else is thinking she should
- 21:15Speaker 1: be doing or he should be doing.
- 21:17Speaker 3: You also have a great environment. You're also like people
- 21:20Speaker 3: don't know this about you, But you're one of the
- 21:22Speaker 3: most mentally tough people.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That I know.
- 21:26Speaker 3: And Teddy's never complained. Teddy nine months pregnant in pumps
- 21:31Speaker 3: in a skirt like you know on some Crazy Housewives think,
- 21:35Speaker 3: never complained. Else she did was eat thumbs. And I
- 21:38Speaker 3: say that because you're just not that girl. And I
- 21:41Speaker 3: think that you have this tremendous will And it really
- 21:45Speaker 3: comes down to look, there's I can't even imagine what
- 21:49Speaker 3: you go through, really, but I.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Think anybody can generate. I'm not any stronger than anybody else.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I just think I've generated myself through out my life
- 22:02Speaker 1: to not be pitied. Yep, it's a big thing for you,
- 22:05Speaker 1: and it's a huge thing. Like there is nothing I
- 22:09Speaker 1: despise more than I feel like when somebody's pitying me,
- 22:12Speaker 1: or when somebody's weaning me, Oh, how are we doing?
- 22:15Speaker 1: What are we going to do?
- 22:17Speaker 2: No, yeah, you're not that.
- 22:18Speaker 1: This is my life and this is what I want
- 22:20Speaker 1: and this is what I'm going to do, and hopefully
- 22:23Speaker 1: it's going to work. And if it doesn't, everybody in
- 22:26Speaker 1: my life will see that I fought my very hardest
- 22:28Speaker 1: to show them how much I love them.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Well, there's no doubt that you love your family and
- 22:32Speaker 3: your friends. Yeah, there's no doubt that I think just
- 22:37Speaker 3: shows up like there's no stopping that.
- 22:40Speaker 1: But also taking away the guilt. Like yesterday, let me
- 22:43Speaker 1: tell you something, I slept for a jillion hours and
- 22:46Speaker 1: watched one million episodes of Friends with Neighbors.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question, what should you have
- 22:50Speaker 2: been doing that you would have felt guilty about.
- 22:51Speaker 3: What WO was?
- 22:52Speaker 1: I would have felt guilty because I only hung with
- 22:54Speaker 1: my kids till eleven am. But then I called Edwin
- 22:57Speaker 1: and I said, hey, I'm hitting that wall that happened
- 23:00Speaker 1: around day four or five. I am tired therapy. I'm tired.
- 23:03Speaker 1: And he's like, you want me to come get the kids?
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:06Speaker 1: And I was like I would love that. And he
- 23:08Speaker 1: took them to church, into Burger place and lunch and
- 23:11Speaker 1: blah blah blah, and then Cruise went to a birthday
- 23:13Speaker 1: party and then they got dropped off at home at five,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and we had dinner and went to bed like it
- 23:18Speaker 1: was a perfect day.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But I had to ask for help, Right, you don't
- 23:22Speaker 2: like doing that.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I don't like doing that, but it felt really good.
- 23:25Speaker 1: But I got to say and then but then it
- 23:27Speaker 1: didn't feel bad anymore. And then I got to say, too,
- 23:30Speaker 1: thank you so much for doing that yesterday. I really
- 23:32Speaker 1: needed it, yes, And instead of guilting me, he responded by,
- 23:36Speaker 1: of course, we had a great time perfect. So it's
- 23:39Speaker 1: just like learning that you can ask for help. It's
- 23:41Speaker 1: not the end of the world.
- 23:42Speaker 2: It's not. It's really not.
- 23:43Speaker 3: And you, I think also too, you are very hard
- 23:48Speaker 3: on yourself, and maybe in some way this has brought
- 23:53Speaker 3: some softness, you know, brought some softness.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I can hug now.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I know life's a little bit sweeter.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I can hug me. It's so crazy.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you've built a brand around accountability, But what's one
- 24:18Speaker 3: area of your life you consistently let yourself off the hook?
- 24:22Speaker 1: I left myself off the hook about everything, guys. And
- 24:25Speaker 1: also I dread that I set accountability. I am a
- 24:29Speaker 1: health and wellness coach that helps you change your life
- 24:32Speaker 1: and gets your body moving and helps you make some
- 24:35Speaker 1: healthier choices.
- 24:37Speaker 2: You did call yourself an accountable, but I.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Did pick the wrong freakin' word. I can hold somebody
- 24:43Speaker 1: accountable to what their goals are. I'm not accountable holding
- 24:46Speaker 1: people accountable to everything in the entire world. That's what
- 24:49Speaker 1: people got confused by. You're going to tell me your
- 24:51Speaker 1: goals and I'm going to hold you accountable.
- 24:53Speaker 3: To yea, if I come to you with a fitness
- 24:54Speaker 3: goal or a nutrition goal and I said, hey, I
- 24:56Speaker 3: want to.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Do X, Y and Z, and you go, okay, I
- 24:58Speaker 2: want to run a marathon? Great, Great, what's the date? Yeah?
- 25:02Speaker 1: Great, okay, this is our plan. But it's not for
- 25:05Speaker 1: every day to day life. Clearly, I make a ton
- 25:07Speaker 1: of bad decisions.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Well, it's not bad decisions. You're human being. We make
- 25:11Speaker 2: human decisions. We all make. We all fuck up, and
- 25:15Speaker 2: that's a matter.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Of It's not about living life of perfection.
- 25:18Speaker 3: You made a boring joke on the pot again recently.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Did being called that on RHBH make you change anything
- 25:25Speaker 3: about yourself?
- 25:26Speaker 2: You're not boring. I'll tell you that.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I don't think that I'm boring. I truly think that
- 25:32Speaker 1: I know she's not boring. My issue was I think
- 25:39Speaker 1: I lost my job season two.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I do too.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I think I lost my job season two, and they
- 25:44Speaker 1: kept me around for season three and I became a
- 25:47Speaker 1: nothing burger and then that was the end. And you
- 25:50Speaker 1: can do the math on what happened on season two
- 25:53Speaker 1: and figure that out.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I have a smile.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Do you agree?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I already told you how I felt, so I agree. Yes.
- 26:02Speaker 3: If you had the chance to host a morning talk show,
- 26:04Speaker 3: what would be your who would be your very first guest,
- 26:08Speaker 3: very first say you should do something like that? Oh?
- 26:10Speaker 1: I love. I mean that's why I love to go
- 26:13Speaker 1: on all those different those like Extra and all those shows.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I love doing it. I love talking pop culture. I
- 26:21Speaker 1: can't even help myself, like from needing to know everything
- 26:25Speaker 1: about the Justin Baldoni case to what's going on with Diddy?
- 26:28Speaker 1: To is you know Justin Bieber okay? Like all of it? Like,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I cannot help myself. I cannot get enough. My very
- 26:39Speaker 1: first guest, who would it be? It would be who's
- 26:43Speaker 1: ever trending in that moment?
- 26:44Speaker 2: And I would want to skuis the limit? Come on?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Sky's the limit?
- 26:48Speaker 2: I'm gonna dream without like boundaries.
- 26:51Speaker 1: If I could do anything, I would want to, like
- 26:54Speaker 1: do a day in the life of Jennifer Lopez.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Really why Jennifer?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Because she seems to I mean other than relationships. Yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 1: she seems to be able to do everything I want.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I found an incredible career, she has an incredible career.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I know that she's very disciplined, Yes, I know that,
- 27:13Speaker 1: but I want to see if there's a fun side.
- 27:15Speaker 1: I want to see all of that. Like I'd like
- 27:16Speaker 1: to shadow her for a week and see who she
- 27:19Speaker 1: really is and then give an expose, right, and see who.
- 27:22Speaker 3: She really is besides being Jennihilippez. Yes, yes, I understand
- 27:25Speaker 3: what you're.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Saying, because that I think I could learn from.
- 27:29Speaker 2: You mean, watching someone like that work like that.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Work like that, I can go, oh, Okay, this is
- 27:33Speaker 1: what I don't want. This is what I do want.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Oh I could do this or no, I absolutely I
- 27:39Speaker 1: wouldn't want to live my life working this hard, this
- 27:42Speaker 1: much all the time.
- 27:43Speaker 2: She's a very hard worker, very hard work, very hard worker.
- 27:46Speaker 1: But I mean there's so many people.
- 27:47Speaker 3: There's so many people in this business that work hard though. Yeah,
- 27:50Speaker 3: there's so many people that work hard in this business
- 27:52Speaker 3: that you don't know about.
- 27:53Speaker 1: But I think we don't see a ton of her working. No, see,
- 27:57Speaker 1: we don't see a ton of behind the scenes with her.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Who else? Give me some other people that like Chelsea
- 28:05Speaker 1: Hamler would be fun.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to think of your the answer to
- 28:10Speaker 3: your first question, people Okay, so hear me out. You
- 28:16Speaker 3: know reality TV, right, what we do is different than
- 28:20Speaker 3: what Jennifer Lopos does. Right, she's like a movie stars
- 28:22Speaker 3: as a pop artist signed to major labels and shit
- 28:26Speaker 3: like that. That's a different type of celebrity than if
- 28:30Speaker 3: you even want to say, like what we have a celebrity.
- 28:32Speaker 3: It's a different like leab in the sense that the
- 28:37Speaker 3: game that we play in reality television is very different
- 28:42Speaker 3: than the game that they play over there. When I
- 28:44Speaker 3: say they, I mean you could call them, you know,
- 28:47Speaker 3: like movie stars and shit like, yeah, a listers. It's
- 28:52Speaker 3: a different type of celebrity. It's a different type of fame.
- 28:54Speaker 3: It's it's harnessed in different way. We in the game
- 28:59Speaker 3: that we do are expected the rules. The rules are
- 29:01Speaker 3: a little different and the expectations are a little different
- 29:04Speaker 3: of us than it is of them. Like they get
- 29:06Speaker 3: to not cherry pick, but they have a little bit
- 29:09Speaker 3: more cover as to what.
- 29:12Speaker 1: An example of just that I know firsthand is my
- 29:15Speaker 1: dad and I went to an event the other night
- 29:18Speaker 1: and I one million percent did the red carpet and
- 29:22Speaker 1: he arrived after.
- 29:23Speaker 3: It was done, right, and it was just a different Yeah,
- 29:27Speaker 3: like it's it's a different vibe.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I got a plus one if I did the red carpet, right,
- 29:32Speaker 1: and I was like, well, I don't want to go alone.
- 29:33Speaker 3: Right, so myself right, But someone like let's just gets
- 29:37Speaker 3: to come whenever he wants to come, or let's sake,
- 29:39Speaker 3: let's take Jennifer Lopez, like she gets to do the
- 29:43Speaker 3: carpets for the movies that are hers and the ones that.
- 29:46Speaker 2: She possibly wants to go to. Yeah, you know, if
- 29:50Speaker 2: she wants to. It's a different life. It's a different level.
- 29:53Speaker 2: It's a different level.
- 29:54Speaker 1: But if we're talking Bravo people, if there's anybody that
- 29:58Speaker 1: I could interview.
- 29:59Speaker 2: We didn't know where.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Not talking about Bravo people, We're talking about anybody. Okay,
- 30:02Speaker 3: all right, Brough you gotta think outside of Bravo.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Well that's what That's why I think my answer I
- 30:07Speaker 1: stick for a little bit.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I like that, I do.
- 30:10Speaker 1: I mean, or who's somebody hot right now?
- 30:12Speaker 2: I don't know, you know, all the hot dudes. I
- 30:14Speaker 2: don't know anybody.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I don't know anyway.
- 30:17Speaker 3: It's not that I don't know, it's that I need
- 30:19Speaker 3: to fucking pay attention. I am so wrapped up in
- 30:22Speaker 3: my own universe that I must look outward instead of
- 30:26Speaker 3: like looking wherever I'm looking, which is like whow okay.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Next question questions, if you could trade lives with one
- 30:34Speaker 3: housewife for twenty four hours, who would it be? And
- 30:37Speaker 3: what's the first thing you do in her shoes?
- 30:40Speaker 1: One housewife for twenty four hours. I'm not going to
- 30:45Speaker 1: pick anyone from Beverly Hills because I think that's stale
- 30:48Speaker 1: and we already know, we've.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Already been around those women who cares.
- 30:51Speaker 1: But if I could change lives with anybody I feel like,
- 30:57Speaker 1: who lives like? You know, who would be? She's not
- 31:00Speaker 1: even a housewife anymore. But Caroline Stansbury.
- 31:05Speaker 2: She looks like she has a good ass time to buy.
- 31:07Speaker 2: She looks and that.
- 31:09Speaker 3: And her husband, Sergio, he waits on her hand and
- 31:12Speaker 3: foot and I saw it.
- 31:13Speaker 1: And every single day they're on a trip somewhere else
- 31:17Speaker 1: going she's getting glammed, like she's got her outfits picked.
- 31:22Speaker 2: They are living. That's what I want.
- 31:24Speaker 1: And you know what, it doesn't have to be twenty
- 31:26Speaker 1: four hours. I do a week.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Oh you want a week of that?
- 31:29Speaker 1: I don't need a week of him.
- 31:31Speaker 3: I know, I know I'm not talking about him. I
- 31:33Speaker 3: just don't like the production, like the whole production. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 3: and I mean that respectful.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I'm kind of curious who is who would yours be?
- 31:40Speaker 3: She's actually a good one. And you know what, I
- 31:43Speaker 3: it's kind of the same thing. It looks real good.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not going with anybody with kids.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean she has kids with their older right.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I don't need smaller children that I need to fight
- 31:54Speaker 3: with or schedule or get to a soccer game.
- 31:58Speaker 2: No, that's not my vibes. Your online looks like it's
- 32:00Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a pretty good option for us. Anyways, let's
- 32:05Speaker 1: go to do be okay.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Wait.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Yeah, By the way, I was with Shep we did
- 32:10Speaker 3: upfronts and we were talking about you.
- 32:11Speaker 2: I was like, Teddy and I want to come to Charleston,
- 32:14Speaker 2: We really do, and he goes, you guys should come.
- 32:17Speaker 1: What's stopping us? We got to get our act together
- 32:20Speaker 1: and go And.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I would love to you let me know, but but
- 32:23Speaker 3: you know what, he's he and I spoke about you
- 32:25Speaker 3: just like you know, we were just walking and talking.
- 32:27Speaker 2: He's really sweet.
- 32:29Speaker 1: He's a sweet guy.
- 32:30Speaker 2: He's a sweet guy.
- 32:31Speaker 3: He I think just I know that his dad was
- 32:34Speaker 3: a lawyer's grandfather was a federal judge, Like they run
- 32:37Speaker 3: deep in that law.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Business down there, like his parents.
- 32:40Speaker 2: No, I figured it out, Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I figured out.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Yeah, No, And I got it from the horse's mouth.
- 32:45Speaker 3: So I was like, okay, cool, what is your favorite
- 32:48Speaker 3: childhood memory?
- 32:50Speaker 1: My favorite childhood memory? Shit, well, I have two memories
- 32:57Speaker 1: that like really stick out, but they're bad. My gosh,
- 33:02Speaker 1: why are my memories bad?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Well, sometimes because the human brain etches those in there.
- 33:07Speaker 1: So like one of my childhood memories that like really
- 33:10Speaker 1: stands out, we're gonna switch.
- 33:11Speaker 2: It from favorite to stands out.
- 33:13Speaker 1: From favorite to stands out is my dad's first house.
- 33:17Speaker 1: So when my dad first his first like big hit
- 33:22Speaker 1: was in nineteen eighty one.
- 33:23Speaker 3: That's the year I was borne and Diane. Yeah, so,
- 33:26Speaker 3: by the way, it was good. I love those songs.
- 33:28Speaker 1: It's a good jam. But so we switched from like
- 33:31Speaker 1: being in a little tiny house to being in this
- 33:32Speaker 1: house and I had a circular driveway.
- 33:34Speaker 2: What city are we in?
- 33:35Speaker 1: Indiana? Okay, So we're in the house with the big
- 33:38Speaker 1: circular driveway, and anytime that my sister and I would
- 33:42Speaker 1: get in a fight, we'd have to run it. God,
- 33:46Speaker 1: John's rough run the circular driveway.
- 33:51Speaker 2: That's kind of cute though, but so like I have.
- 33:53Speaker 1: These memories of like looking at my sister and as
- 33:55Speaker 1: being like far more and like bringing out ways that
- 33:59Speaker 1: we could cross over through the grass, so like I
- 34:02Speaker 1: remember that. My other favorite memory was actually the first
- 34:06Speaker 1: time I got on a horse.
- 34:07Speaker 2: How were you?
- 34:08Speaker 1: I was four years old? Did you ask my neighbor
- 34:12Speaker 1: like where my dad had a like a studio and
- 34:15Speaker 1: my neighbor her mom trained Shetland ponies.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Cute, it was a pony.
- 34:20Speaker 1: It was a pony, And I went over and I
- 34:23Speaker 1: said can I can I ride? And they said, yeah,
- 34:26Speaker 1: we have a new Shetland named TJ. And then he
- 34:29Speaker 1: became mine and he was my first pony.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Was he sweet? Because she's going I was gonna say,
- 34:33Speaker 2: Shellin's are me?
- 34:34Speaker 1: We have a video of my mom like giving him
- 34:36Speaker 1: tap to have him go forward, and he kicked her
- 34:38Speaker 1: right in the knee. Knee No, but we have an
- 34:43Speaker 1: on video. She's like come on, like she's trying to
- 34:48Speaker 1: and you remember those old school videos that you.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Can tell I got out, yeah, PJ? Yeah, how long
- 34:56Speaker 2: did you ride? TJ?
- 34:57Speaker 1: I mean I think my second one was fan Seek.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Her name was fancy and she was an actual small pony.
- 35:04Speaker 1: So I went from the Shetland to once I started
- 35:06Speaker 1: being able to like post really ride and stuff, then
- 35:08Speaker 1: I switched to fancy. Oh my god, I feel like
- 35:11Speaker 1: I could remember all of my ponies and horses in order.
- 35:13Speaker 3: That's do you know how many, just offhand, how many
- 35:15Speaker 3: you've had.
- 35:16Speaker 1: In total that I've owned? Probably twenty?
- 35:20Speaker 2: And how many did you ride for clients?
- 35:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, hundreds, hundreds, hundreds, Like I have no idea,
- 35:26Speaker 1: but I the ones that are special to me. I'll
- 35:29Speaker 1: never forget sure, of course. Like there's this horse what
- 35:32Speaker 1: goes around that I wrote of my trainers, Don Stewart,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and I remember that horse every single day. I love
- 35:40Speaker 1: it and we called them with GiMA.
- 35:41Speaker 2: How old were you when you turn pro?
- 35:43Speaker 1: I was seventeen seventeen. Yeah, so there were so many
- 35:48Speaker 1: met so many, so many, but gosh, I feel like
- 35:52Speaker 1: I went down memory lane. But thanks guys for tuning
- 35:54Speaker 1: in for another episode of Diamonds in the Rough. Next week,
- 35:57Speaker 1: I'll be taking Erica's questions don't wing.
