  And here's a quick programming note to everybody. A little more like a ministry update.

  I just received my final grade for the summer. I got a 94 average.

  So thank you for everybody for your thoughts and prayers.

  I am now officially on summer vacation break from school and we start up again

  in August as I dive into the Old Testament and I'm excited.

  Well, this morning, let's talk about all that we have to offer the world.

  What do you have to offer? What do you want to do to make the world a better place?

  You know, Each and every day I come on the air, I always say,
• 1:57
  well, my goal is to touch one person's life or if I can reach one person with
• 2:03
  a message, I've done my job.

  I'm getting to the point now where I want to increase it to two. That's right.

  After eight years, I want to say my goal now is to at least,
• 2:14
  you know, reach out to two people a day.
• 2:17
  I want to increase my daily goal.
• 2:21
  I thought that was a pretty cool idea. Yesterday hit me. You know,
• 2:24
  I've always been saying it only takes just one. Well, let's do that. Why can't we do two?

  We can try. And if we still get one under the two, we've done our job. So let's go for two.

  Each day we go out and we do what we normally do
• 2:37
  whether it's a routine whether it's just having a
• 2:41
  day off and just maybe doing a little staycation or
• 2:44
  you know doing yard work we can do
• 2:46
  so much for others it doesn't mean they have to you know climb off the chair
• 2:51
  and go out and find somebody to do something and it could be anything as far
• 2:55
  as a small prayer for an individual you know when we pray for someone each morning

  when we say thank you lord i pray for my father my mother, my sister, my brother.

  By doing that, we are able to continue to do what we do best to make the world a better place.

  And as you walk the dog, we wave to people. Sometimes they don't wave back.

  Sometimes, you know, I forget to wave and people wave at me and I'm like,

  So each morning as we go about our day and we try to make this world a better place.

  The question I leave to all of you is, what have you done or what can you offer to the world?

  So this is my challenge for you this morning. If you're going out and you see

  a soldier with his hat, if you see a VNOD vet, stop it and say,
• 3:51
  thank you for your service.

  If you see someone that maybe is struggling to put some of the groceries from

  the cart into the car, offer your assistance.

  If you have a cart because you caught it right after you're out of the car and
• 4:04
  you see a person that maybe is looking for a cart, give up yours so you can
• 4:09
  go out and you'll get another one.

  It's all these little things that I try to do. I don't look for them,
• 4:15
  but if they're there to present itself, I make sure I do it.

  Even when I'm upset or angry, sometimes I'll have a bad day.

  When I do something, it makes me feel so much better.

  I realize, wait a minute, that was a good deed.

  So this morning as we close out the week and we get ready

  Good prayer for Kyle, my neighbor, who was hospitalized as well.

  Lord, as we wake up this morning and I'm walking the dog, the humidity and the heat has stopped.

  Today should be a more comfortable day for all of us here in the Northeast.

  We can let the air conditioners chill out for a while, no pun intended.

  Lord, we pray for all the two gentlemen that we just talked about.

  We make sure their health is in good shape. We want to pray for all of our neighbors,

  our friends and families.

  We pray for forgiveness, for understanding, for wisdom and guidance.

  We continue to pray for Gavin, who had cancer.

  We pray for Manny and his wife, who has cancer. We continue to lift up in prayer the Ortiz family.

  We ask you to pray for Carol.

  We continue to lift up in prayer Diane. Excuse me. We pray for Nick and Cassandra, for Manza and Yesenia.

  By the way, your packages went out today, this morning, so I'm sorry that it was a delay.

  Noah's going into his first pre-pre-K.
