- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: On Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: And here we go.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: 10, 9, 8, 7, RS 25 engines,
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: four, three, two, one, booster ignition and lift off.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: the crew of Artemis 2 now bound for the moon.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: Humanities next great voyage begin.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was absolutely epic.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: A scene for the ages.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yesterday April 1st, four astronauts left Earth and did something no person has done in over a half a century.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: They are literally flying to the moon.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Commander Reed Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_01]: Mission Specialist Kristina Koch and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen strapped into NASA's Orion capsule atop a 322-foot space launch system rocket at Kennedy Space Center.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: The first crude lunar mission since Apollo 17 in 1972.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: 53 years of waiting ended in a tower of fire and thunder that shook the Florida coastline.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: But here's what the legacy media isn't telling you.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't just the space story.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: This is a story of power, specifically civilization of power.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: And by the end of this video, you're going to understand why what just happened at Kennedy Space Center,
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: may indeed be the single most important geopolitical event of the century.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: One that's ushered in a galactic age, like we never even imagined.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: on how you continue to change the world.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Indeed, the cosmos, in ways who never even imagine, makes sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start with the staggering record-shattering facts here because they are genuinely mind-blowing.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: At its farthest point, this crew will travel a quarter of a million miles
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: from Earth roughly 1500 miles beyond the record set previously by the Apollo 13 crew back in 1970s.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: So think about that, for 56 years, no human being had gone farther from our planet than those three men on that crippled spacecraft, right?
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: Our four astronauts today are shattering that record.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: They'll spend up to 50 minutes on the far side of the moon, the dark side for you, Pink Floyd fans.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: decide permanently facing away from Earth with zero radio contact with our planet.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: They will be more isolated from humanity than any human beings in the entire history of our species.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: If something goes wrong during those 50 minutes, there's no communication, there's no rescue, there's no help.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: They will travel faster than any crude spacecraft since the Apollo era.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: of approximately 24,500 miles per hour as they swing around the lunar far side.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now the key here is that these aren't just historical footnotes.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: These are civilizational milestones.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: And that's because of what's actually on the horizon and where that horizon is coming from.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: The records, the crew, the engineering, as extraordinary as it is, still isn't what makes Artemis too historically significant in its deepest sense.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: What matters is what comes next and who's racing to get there.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: In just a few months, China's chung al seven mission is targeting the exact same lunar destination, the South Pole of the Moon, specifically the rim of Shackleton Crater, where NASA is planning to build its permanent Artemis base.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: same craters, same water ice deposits, that's going to be key, same extraordinarily limited, extraordinarily precious patch of lunar real estate.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: So while you may ask, does the lunar south pole matter so much here?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: What's there that has the world's two major superpowers so determined to explore it?
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, in short, it's because that's where, as I noted, the water ice is.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Water in space isn't just drinking water, which you have to get is that water in space is rocket fuel.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: You split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen and you got propellant.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: Water ice at the lunar south pole, when split into hydrogen and oxygen through electrolysis, provides deuterium, a heavy hydrogen isotope that serves as fuel for nuclear fusion reactors currently being developed on Earth.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: More dramatically, the same solar wind that deposited water ice over how many gazillions of years
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: also saturated the moon surface with something called helium-3.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's the isotope that enables the cleanest, most powerful fusion reaction known to science, producing no radioactive neutron waste at all.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have it on Earth because of our magnetic field, which acts like a shield.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: It blocks the solar wind and dust prevents helium-3 from forming on Earth's surface.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: So helium-3 only exists in outer space, particularly on the moon.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: And so here's the key, who ever minds the Moon's South Pole first isn't just winning a space race.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: They're positioning their civilization to monopolize the fuel source that could power human civilization for literally thousands of years and its limitless.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: Whoever controls the waterized at the lunar South Pole controls the gas station literally
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: for missions to Mars, to the asteroid bell, to the outer planets.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is why the Trump administration rolled out a roughly $20 billion moon-based concept and why the language from NASA leadership was just strikingly different from Apollo era rhetoric.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: This time the stated goal is not, you know, flags and footprints.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: This time the goal is to stay.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: permanent bases, resource extraction, a sustained human presence on another world.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: That changes everything.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now, of course, you're never going to get this from the legacy media.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: And that's because they're too busy fueling America's divide, right?
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: What they try to pass off is neutral reporting.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: Often, intentionally steers perception instead of surfacing all the facts.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the good news is that millions are finally realizing that our legacy media is broken.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: But then the question is, where do you get, where do you turn?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: Where do you get your news?
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, luckily there's a solution.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: It helps you see what's being emphasized, ignored or spun.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: Ground news pulls headlines from over 50,000 news sources and makes it easier to understand what's actually happening.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: You can see the political bias of each outlet
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: insights like reliability, outlet ownership, and how coverage breaks down across the spectrum.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's why over a million people of downloaded ground news, check it out for yourself at ground.News slash Steve.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now my favorite feature is the blind spot feed.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: It shows you which stores are blowing up on one side of the aisle, but barely mentioned on the other.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it's the clearest way to see media bias and action.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, here's a story that the
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's on Congress launching an investigation into the massive fraud that appears to infested California's hospice program.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's guaranteed to destroy Gavin Newsom's political career.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: And of course the right, we have our blind spots too, for sure.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_01]: But now you'll know, with every story ground news shows you the entire spectrum of who's reporting from left, right, and center how reliable each source is and who owns
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: each outlet.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's everything the corporate press doesn't want you to see.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: And right now, you can get 40% off the vantage plan, which gives you unlimited access to all the features that I personally use for about $5 per month, just visit ground.news slash Steve, click the link in the description or scan the QR code that's ground.news slash Steve.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: Now, many of you know, I'm researching a new book called The Siv Cosm.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: That explores the rising civilizational cosmocracy that is the new political order that's already becoming more and more evident, particularly with the war in Iran and with this Artemis two mission and the Chinese counterpart launching in just a couple of months.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: The Sivcosum or Civilisational Cosmocracy is a geopolitical framework arguing that the dominant conflicts of the 21st century are not between nations in the traditional sense, but between civilizations, large cultural blocks with distinct worldviews, sacred orders, and technological ecosystems,
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: All competing across three interlocking areas, Theo politics, which involves religion and sacred identities power, techno politics, which involves civilizational and distinct text acts, reshaping economic and military power.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: And as we're seeing now, astropolitics, which is the extension of civilizational competition into orbital space and beyond.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so what the Sivcosm reveals is that NASA's Artemis program and China's chongna program, which, by the way, chongna literally means moon goddess.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're not parallel scientific endeavors.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: They are actually rival civilizational projects.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: So on the one side, you have the United States and what's called the Artemis Accords.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's a growing coalition of over 50 signatory nations built around principles that grew out of the Anglo-American led international order.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: So it focuses on transparency, interoperability, peaceful use,
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: and a market-driven framework for space resources.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: So this is what some are calling cosmic techno-populism.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: It's centered around the Musk Trump synthesis.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: So space X drives down cost and iterates at startup speed.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: NASA provides institutional architecture and mission legitimacy, and together they create a model, very powerful model, where private enterprise and state power amplify each other in the pursuit of civilizational expansion.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: On the other side, China and Russia are building the international lunar research station, with their own partners, many of them belt and road participants, under a very different set of norms.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's state-directed, it's sovereignty obsessed, it's convinced that technology is not neutral, but a tool of civilizational scent, Xi Jinping's space program isn't a commercial ecosystem, it's a tightly integrated arm of the Civilization state.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_01]: key directly into his national rejuvenation project prove that the Chinese system can not only match Western achievements, but surpass them.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck on that, by the way, but at least that's the project.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now the key here is that these two blocks aren't just racing to put hardware in the same
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: this is what you've got to get.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: This is the world order, the increasingly cosmic galactic order we're living in now.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: The US and China are racing to determine what counts as territory in outer space, who can extract what?
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: How are disputes
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: World Order is becoming cosmic order, or orbital order.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: And the key question is, who is going to define that order?
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: Two civilization states, United States and China, are competing for literal galactic dominance.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: A competition goes way beyond anything that geopolitical theorists have thus far envisioned.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so that's what my upcoming book is all about.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm arguing that world power in the 21st century has to be understood through these three interlocking lenses.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: Theo politics, the role of religion and sacred order and shaping civilizational identity and geopolitical behavior.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: Techno politics, the way that civilizational distinct stacks are reshaping power, surveillance, and economic architecture, and astropolitics, the extension of civilizational competition into orbital space and beyond.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: Artemis II is astropolitics made visible.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's revealing a whole lot.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: whole new world at once very ancient and at the same time very futuristic, where the religions of old are returning, with a technology that's enabling them to reach the very stars they were always so enamored with.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: The question that will define the rest of the century and beyond is not whether humans become multplanetary, they will.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: The question is under whose cosmology will that expansion be organized?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: And as of yesterday, it was America that just fired the opening shot.
