Prosthetic Gait Leads to Train Snatcher | India News
Delhi police nabbed two train snatching suspects after an elderly woman’s bag was stolen on the Ranikhet Express—containing her phone, cash, and a gold chain. The real twist? One suspect, 22-year-old Hassan, lost a leg in a prior snatching attempt but returned to the game with a prosthetic—and his distinctive gait became the key clue in his identification. His associate, Dilshad, allegedly turned informant, leading to arrests. Police are now investigating if this duo has targeted other slow-moving trains near Sarai Rohilla.
