- 2:03Speaker 4: your hosting degenerates here this evening. My name is Rob Clark.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Otherwise it was the Triple be Big Bad Bob, and
- 2:10Speaker 4: along with me is always is the ever scruffy Joe
- 2:16Speaker 4: BURRELLI from the Himalayan Catskills with a joke.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Hey, yes, I haven't shaved in a month. It's been great.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Uh you know, when you're in the mountains, it's whatever
- 2:33Speaker 1: kind of thing. But uh, you know, Mike Alpha sixty
- 2:37Speaker 1: six sent me a picture of his beard that he
- 2:40Speaker 1: just shaved, and I sent him a picture of mine,
- 2:42Speaker 1: and he says.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Uh, oh no, Mike shaved his beard off completely. Oh no,
- 2:51Speaker 4: oh no, he looks like a different person. Yeah, but
- 2:54Speaker 4: uh totally wouldn't recognize him.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He called going on a rookie beard. But uh, it
- 3:03Speaker 1: is what it is.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Right.
- 3:04Speaker 4: You can't win them all, that's right, I hear you.
- 3:09Speaker 1: But happy to be as always, Happy Friday, Happy uh
- 3:14Speaker 1: hello to everyone in the chat.
- 3:16Speaker 4: And yeah, let's say hi to everybody. What's up? Trey
- 3:22Speaker 4: uh number one in early South to West, Big Bad
- 3:26Speaker 4: Josh of course, Tiny Dancer, Big Claude, Nanty Dean and Dean.
- 3:33Speaker 4: You know hot and bothered. She should be two handsome
- 3:36Speaker 4: dudes on the on the screen right now. Uh, Moose
- 3:41Speaker 4: seven is in the house. See no evil, Paul Garden
- 3:45Speaker 4: and guns. Let's see Lee Hill comes to play. What's
- 3:51Speaker 4: up buddy? Uh Ashley, Ashley is in the house, Criiky
- 3:57Speaker 4: damn right and bungled.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Was in the house.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Colleen, our rocket queen is in the house. Jack is
- 4:03Speaker 4: in the house. All right, man, the house is filling up.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Holy Hannah, Welcome, welcome, one and all to the show.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Give me five seconds. Ruby is trying to keep my
- 4:16Speaker 1: steak cooked.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Ah ship, yeah, go ahead, while Joe rescues his steak.
- 4:29Speaker 6: I just wanted to let everyone know.
- 4:32Speaker 1: That you may.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Uh see either now or in the very near future,
- 4:41Speaker 4: that we have created a membership section here on YouTube.
- 4:47Speaker 4: We had high and lofty goals when we were when
- 4:50Speaker 4: we created our Locals deal, which is still going to
- 4:55Speaker 4: be up, and we can still post some documents there
- 4:57Speaker 4: and it's good for that, but I wouldn't encourage everyone
- 5:01Speaker 4: to move over here. We had a lot of logistical problems.
- 5:08Speaker 4: We couldn't stream together over there on locals, and we
- 5:14Speaker 4: want to bring you extra content, you know, so I
- 5:20Speaker 4: would encourage everybody to check out the membership section of
- 5:25Speaker 4: the show, where if you already subscribe, you should see
- 5:28Speaker 4: a join button on your laptop. For some reason, on
- 5:34Speaker 4: the phone, it is not there yet. We had to
- 5:37Speaker 4: go through an approval process which we are approved, and
- 5:40Speaker 4: it does show up on the desktop version, but not
- 5:44Speaker 4: on the cell phone. And Joe has an iPhone, I
- 5:47Speaker 4: have an Android. It's on neither one of them, so
- 5:50Speaker 4: it's not It's not that way kind of thing. So
- 5:54Speaker 4: we did create some perks. Joe, if you want to
- 5:58Speaker 4: run through the perks and let everybody know the different
- 6:01Speaker 4: tier levels and again nothing's changing. You still want to
- 6:04Speaker 4: hang out with us and watch the show. It doesn't
- 6:06Speaker 4: cost anything at all. But we did create some kind
- 6:09Speaker 4: of cool perks for you guys if you would like
- 6:12Speaker 4: to join the monthly deal. What's up Robbie, Robbie's in
- 6:16Speaker 4: the house out of the Blank podcast, make sure you're
- 6:19Speaker 4: checking out his show.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Hey Robbie, and sorry, I had to get Ruby because
- 6:28Speaker 1: my cousin left the steak on the table he is grilling,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and of course I am committed to the pod, so
- 6:36Speaker 1: he left it on the table and I heard Ruby
- 6:38Speaker 1: trying to get up on the table. So I apologize,
- 6:45Speaker 1: but a high to everyone that Rob had mentioned, and.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Yeah, she just wanted to lick on the leg a
- 6:52Speaker 4: little bit, that's all.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, And and a little update on the Cuban exile position.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Ruby and I are in. We are in back channel
- 7:05Speaker 1: talks with let's call her cashtro Oh wow, she's going
- 7:11Speaker 1: to freak out. And she watched the last two episodes
- 7:16Speaker 1: and she's like, I don't like when you call you
- 7:20Speaker 1: and Ruby exiles. But I mean, hey, that's what we are.
- 7:22Speaker 1: But we are in back channel talks and there are
- 7:26Speaker 1: some demands, some reasonable, some not. And maybe by next
- 7:33Speaker 1: pod will be better.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Maybe by next year we'll see Joe finally back at home.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe Ruby's not making a great case so far
- 7:42Speaker 1: on the podcast here, and I can hear her already
- 7:46Speaker 1: calls them trouble so but yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 4: So put a little silk sitting on that ship.
- 7:51Speaker 1: She might not eat. I'd be a little too hot
- 7:53Speaker 1: for It's not a bad idea, although she would just
- 7:57Speaker 1: keep coming at it. So yeah, I mean, you know,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I think if you've watched the show and I missed
- 8:04Speaker 1: the beginning of what you said, we tried to do
- 8:08Speaker 1: the locals membership because it was less of it was
- 8:14Speaker 1: they took less than say a YouTube, but it was
- 8:17Speaker 1: very hard because Rob and I could not go live together.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Only one person could go live, and so we decided
- 8:27Speaker 1: to do the memberships on YouTube. And you know, for
- 8:31Speaker 1: the people that support us, you know, because you know
- 8:33Speaker 1: we don't get we don't get rich doing this. I
- 8:36Speaker 1: think you know that, and you know we spend a
- 8:40Speaker 1: lot of time. So essentially the first level is spooks,
- 8:46Speaker 1: which I like. I like that union that rep for
- 8:49Speaker 1: ninety nine a month, and you know, you get some
- 8:52Speaker 1: cool emojis and stuff like that, and listen, it's to
- 8:56Speaker 1: support the homies. It's not really obviously for the emojis.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But and then what are you laughing at?
- 9:09Speaker 4: Keep going, Bud, You're doing a great job. Explain the tears,
- 9:16Speaker 4: I mean.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Covert operators, and you'd get early access to new videos.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I could see you. You're distracting me here.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Don't worry about me. I'm trying to find something. Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 4: me and Alpha sixty six had a little joke earlier,
- 9:35Speaker 4: and I'm trying to find something.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Okay, I was just chuckling. Yeah, some exclusive photo and
- 9:42Speaker 1: status updates, Member only videos, and some member only live streams.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And then for the people that could really support us,
- 9:53Speaker 1: we have a super Spies level twenty four to ninety
- 9:57Speaker 1: on a month and in addition do everything that I
- 10:01Speaker 1: just described. It will be a monthly Q and A
- 10:07Speaker 1: where like we kind of bullshit over everything JFK, maybe
- 10:13Speaker 1: current conspiracies. And also topic recommendation, Rob, topic pick a topic,
- 10:20Speaker 1: so you could recommend a topic or a segment to
- 10:23Speaker 1: us and we will cover it on the Long Guman
- 10:26Speaker 1: And yeah, you know we you know, I just spent
- 10:32Speaker 1: a lot of money over a grand on the Lancer
- 10:36Speaker 1: hotel and flight and you know, of course we don't
- 10:39Speaker 1: get paid for that, but we do it out of love,
- 10:44Speaker 1: not out of fame or possible fortune. We're just and
- 10:48Speaker 1: we know this is these are tough times, Rob, I
- 10:51Speaker 1: mean inflation everything. Yes, so if you can support us,
- 10:58Speaker 1: we realize a lot of you might not be able to,
- 11:02Speaker 1: but if you can, we would appreciate it.
- 11:05Speaker 4: And we've realized these are small perks, you know, but
- 11:09Speaker 4: uh you know, at least you get something back, uh,
- 11:12Speaker 4: you know, for your for your support instead of just
- 11:15Speaker 4: blindly donating, which we're not totally discouraging you from doing it.
- 11:20Speaker 4: If you still want us to, you still want to
- 11:23Speaker 4: send us a whether super chat or whatever, that's all
- 11:25Speaker 4: good and fine as well, and we appreciate it. We
- 11:27Speaker 4: appreciate the hell out of it. Every single get us wrong. Yes, Uh,
- 11:32Speaker 4: you know books cost money. Uh, you know Internet costs money,
- 11:36Speaker 4: Equipment costs money, trips cost money. So we'd like to
- 11:40Speaker 4: think that we bring you high quality content here at
- 11:43Speaker 4: the Lone Guming Podcast, second to none, and we are
- 11:48Speaker 4: going to continue.
- 11:49Speaker 1: To do that for sure.
- 11:51Speaker 4: So like I said, you know, if you if you
- 11:52Speaker 4: want to, and you can, great if you if you
- 11:54Speaker 4: if you can't, we understand, and it's all good. You know,
- 11:58Speaker 4: we still love hanging out with every Friday night and
- 12:01Speaker 4: interacting with everybody. So enough of that.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Well, he subscribed to to Chat with us, and I
- 12:10Speaker 1: think we are a couple subscribers short of eighteen hundred.
- 12:16Speaker 1: So yeah, all week.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I got excited for a second, Joe, it is at
- 12:21Speaker 4: seventeen ninety nine, and then we lost somebody unfollowed bastards.
- 12:27Speaker 1: We lost them. It happens, It happens, I.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Know, I know, all right, So let's get into the show, Joe.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Let's do it without further ed Ye. I wanted to
- 12:39Speaker 4: clean some things up from the last show since I
- 12:41Speaker 4: forgot all my notes at work exactly, Paul good fight
- 12:46Speaker 4: costs money, Yes, twenty five dollars a bottle for juice.
- 12:52Speaker 1: No, you know, just warm with bad habits. But and
- 12:55Speaker 1: actually is on that blueberry ice. I respect that.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I can't do that. There's mental icy vapes man
- 13:05Speaker 4: the rout burners. Yeah, all right, that's just me. If
- 13:08Speaker 4: you can handle it, Ashley, more power to you. Yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 4: all right. So I remember last show I mentioned about
- 13:17Speaker 4: Merryman Smith, the reporter who was in the motorcade who
- 13:24Speaker 4: got into a fistfight with another newsman in the motorcade,
- 13:29Speaker 4: fighting over their satellite phone they had there in the car.
- 13:34Speaker 4: When we went over everything about Merryman Smith and all
- 13:37Speaker 4: his awards over the years and how they got in
- 13:43Speaker 4: his accolades and they kind of got taken away. But
- 13:46Speaker 4: he ended up getting buried at Allington Cemetery and he
- 13:48Speaker 4: wasn't a veteran. This a lot of weird stuff going
- 13:51Speaker 4: on here. But I made the mistake of saying he
- 13:55Speaker 4: was snitching on the Garrison investigation directly to Hoover. It
- 14:01Speaker 4: was not directly to Hoover. This is what happens when
- 14:04Speaker 4: I don't take my notes home. It was actually to
- 14:06Speaker 4: Cartha Deloche, okay, who was like Hoover's what third fourth
- 14:13Speaker 4: in command? Yeah, yeah, I think he was not number three,
- 14:19Speaker 4: and he knew him so well. He starts off the
- 14:21Speaker 4: letter dear Deeke, and of course Deeke is Carla Deep
- 14:27Speaker 4: Delouche's you know nickname or middle name. Now he says
- 14:31Speaker 4: dear Deeke, not mister Deloche or anything like that. So
- 14:35Speaker 4: he says, enclosed is a wire copy, and this is
- 14:37Speaker 4: from March sixth, sixty seven, so this is during the
- 14:40Speaker 4: Garrison investigation, and closes a wire copy of the story
- 14:45Speaker 4: I did as a result of my visits to New Orleans.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I've never seen a story with such a sticky aftermath.
- 14:51Speaker 4: The nuts keep after me by telephone. In the space
- 14:55Speaker 4: of a couple hours yesterday, here is what happened to me.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Jack Martin called my New Orleans bureau, that's his news bureau,
- 15:07Speaker 4: to say he had highly confidential information for me at
- 15:10Speaker 4: no fee, and that he would be dead in a week,
- 15:15Speaker 4: that he was leaving his wife, and that he didn't.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Like my story.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Although he had not read it, and so on for
- 15:23Speaker 4: ninety minutes.
- 15:25Speaker 1: He talked to Jack Martin about this.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Martin's lawyer, Tommy Boehmer, called to ask for a copy
- 15:34Speaker 4: of the story I had written. The office told him
- 15:37Speaker 4: to go buy the paper. I like that. That's a
- 15:42Speaker 4: good answer. You want to coll you the story, spend
- 15:44Speaker 4: a freaking nickel in the box, Jack right. David Lewis called,
- 15:50Speaker 4: ostensibly to complain about my story as well, but to
- 15:55Speaker 4: offer two to turn over to us evidence of a
- 15:59Speaker 4: Washington plot to discredit Garrison. Martin incidentally said he was
- 16:06Speaker 4: taking a number of pills and suffering from increasing numbness
- 16:09Speaker 4: of his extremities. That fellow should change brands. I love
- 16:15Speaker 4: the Garrison told me in confidence. And now I'm telling you,
- 16:21Speaker 4: mister Deeck, mister Thurnd in command at the FBI, if
- 16:26Speaker 4: such there be with this man, that he was going
- 16:29Speaker 4: after a group of high status fags who at one
- 16:32Speaker 4: time were quite involved with the lower echelons of the JFK. Plott.
- 16:37Speaker 4: The arrest of Shaw, known to some as the quote
- 16:41Speaker 4: Queen of the Quarter Joe, and interrogation of Dean Andrews,
- 16:49Speaker 4: who supposedly has represented Homo's in a number of cases
- 16:53Speaker 4: would seem to bear out Garrison's original intention. Martin now
- 16:58Speaker 4: claims to have an unlisted phone number. It is five
- 17:01Speaker 4: four nine four three six ninety four nine. What a dirty,
- 17:04Speaker 4: dirty case. I certainly hope I don't ever have to
- 17:08Speaker 4: go back down to New Orleans for anything. Sincerely, Smitty
- 17:14Speaker 4: Merriman Smith. That made me lol, just a little bit.
- 17:21Speaker 1: That was pretty funny, actually, just a little bit, just
- 17:26Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 17:28Speaker 4: So also from the last show, I had one page,
- 17:33Speaker 4: I mean a two page document, Joe, that I showed
- 17:36Speaker 4: everybody on here. It was a heavily highlighted story. Well,
- 17:41Speaker 4: it's a document from the one we talked about when
- 17:45Speaker 4: they were looking for Jack W. Martin and Gaudana in
- 17:48Speaker 4: Natcha Tosius, Louisiana. It was a secret Service document from
- 17:54Speaker 4: John Rice where you know, they're looking for Jack Martin
- 17:58Speaker 4: before Oswald's even a okay in New Orleans. So somebody
- 18:05Speaker 4: dropped a dime. Ond. Well, there was a second page
- 18:07Speaker 4: to that document, and I did not have it uploaded,
- 18:13Speaker 4: but I do have it here now and there is
- 18:16Speaker 4: some interesting little pieces to this. So it goes on
- 18:24Speaker 4: to say, apparently the Secret Service interviewed Ferry on the
- 18:33Speaker 4: night of eleven twenty five, sixty three, and this was
- 18:42Speaker 4: I'm sorry, it said, subsequent to our interview with Ferry,
- 18:45Speaker 4: on the night of eleven twenty five sixty three, he
- 18:47Speaker 4: was interviewed by FBI agents at the First District Police station.
- 18:52Speaker 4: So what a subsequent mean, Joe, does that mean before
- 18:55Speaker 4: or after?
- 18:56Speaker 1: After?
- 18:57Speaker 4: Four?
- 18:58Speaker 1: He's after.
- 19:00Speaker 4: So after our interview with Ferry, he was interviewed by
- 19:02Speaker 4: the FBI. So the Secret Service actually interviewed David Ferry
- 19:07Speaker 4: first on eleven twenty five sixty three.
- 19:13Speaker 1: And that was long. He was obviously in Texas that weekend.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I think he got back Sunday night, So he's getting
- 19:21Speaker 1: interviewed the next.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Day, right, Yes, now this is all member, this is
- 19:28Speaker 4: a Secret Service document. So they say on eleven twenty six,
- 19:30Speaker 4: sixty three, it was learned that FBI that an FBI
- 19:34Speaker 4: that the FBI agents had talked with Jack S. Martin.
- 19:39Speaker 4: That here's where it gets funny, who admitted that he
- 19:42Speaker 4: had been the informant with regard to David William Ferry.
- 19:48Speaker 4: That Martin had admitted to the FBI that the information
- 19:52Speaker 4: which he had furnished Assistant DA Attorney Coleman was get
- 19:57Speaker 4: this Joe quote, just a figment of his imagination. Now
- 20:05Speaker 4: where have we heard this before?
- 20:07Speaker 1: Oh man, of course, the lovely character who ends our
- 20:12Speaker 1: show every night, and that is the infamous son Dean Andrews.
- 20:23Speaker 4: I thought it was gonna have to bail you out
- 20:24Speaker 4: there for a second.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm glad to change it. No, No, of Ruby like
- 20:29Speaker 1: jumped off something whatever. Yes, Dean Andrews, of course.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Yeah. So Martin admitted that the information he had furnished
- 20:42Speaker 4: to Assistant District Attorney Aaron Coleman was a figment of
- 20:47Speaker 4: his imagination and that he had made up the story
- 20:49Speaker 4: after reading the newspapers and watching television that he remembered
- 20:53Speaker 4: that Coleman, who was a former newspaper reporter, had written
- 20:57Speaker 4: an article or story about Ferry a couple of years ago,
- 21:00Speaker 4: and he had pieced the whole thing together in his
- 21:02Speaker 4: mind Joe and had given it to Coleman as facts.
- 21:08Speaker 4: This sounds just like the Dean Andrews story.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Yep, exactly.
- 21:12Speaker 4: This is the first time that I've ever read or
- 21:14Speaker 4: heard that Jack Martin admitted to making up.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Anything yeah or giving yeah an excuse that I don't
- 21:26Speaker 1: know if it was the Dean Andrew excuse because he
- 21:27Speaker 1: wasn't like in the hospital, right, but he was incoherent.
- 21:32Speaker 1: A love John, Thank you John. I appreciate it.
- 21:41Speaker 4: I love our beeps.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Hey Lee.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Henry Oswald is in the house. What's up, Roger?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Hey, Roger? How are you?
- 21:50Speaker 4: It's our music guy. His his avatar matches our color scheme. Tonight, Joe,
- 21:55Speaker 4: I like that little lilac purple purple.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Haze on my brain.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I like it. So it goes on to say. On
- 22:03Speaker 4: the night of eleven twenty nine, Special Agent in charge
- 22:07Speaker 4: Rice and reporting Agent interviewed Jack S Martin again at
- 22:13Speaker 4: length in his small, shitty Rundown apartment. They didn't really
- 22:18Speaker 4: say shitty, but I will and I'll show you a picture,
- 22:22Speaker 4: Joe of Jack Martin's apartment.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Really check this out.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yeah, he lived at the one three one one North
- 22:32Speaker 4: Prior Street in New Orleans and it is still there today.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Here you go, check this out. So this is Jack
- 22:42Speaker 4: Martin's little apartment. His apartment was here on the side
- 22:46Speaker 4: of the house, not on the front. It was this
- 22:49Speaker 4: door with the overhang right here. That's where I lived
- 22:53Speaker 4: with his wife and child. Isn't that ironic when you
- 22:59Speaker 4: think about life? Yeah, in Camp Street. Just wait, just wait,
- 23:06Speaker 4: I've got more goodies to show you later. Yeah. It
- 23:11Speaker 4: says that he's shared a small Rundown apartment located at
- 23:14Speaker 4: thirteen eleven North Prior Street, which he shares with his
- 23:17Speaker 4: wife and six year old son. Excuse me. Martin, who
- 23:23Speaker 4: has every appearance of being an alcoholic, admitted during the
- 23:28Speaker 4: interview that he suffers from telephonitis when drinking, and that
- 23:32Speaker 4: it was during one of his drinking sprees that he
- 23:35Speaker 4: telephoned assistant da Herman Coleman and told him this fantastic
- 23:42Speaker 4: story about David Ferry being involved with Lee Harvey Oswald.
- 23:46Speaker 4: He said he had heard on television that Oswald had
- 23:48Speaker 4: at one time been active in the Civil Air Patrol
- 23:51Speaker 4: and had later heard that Ferry had been in his squadron.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Commander.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Martin stated that Ferry was well known to him, that
- 23:58Speaker 4: he recalled having having seen rifles in Fairy's house, and
- 24:05Speaker 4: he also recalled that Coleman had written an article on
- 24:07Speaker 4: Ferry and that Fairry had been a marine and had
- 24:10Speaker 4: been with the Civil Air Patrol. Martin stated that after
- 24:16Speaker 4: turning all of these thoughts over in his mind, he
- 24:19Speaker 4: had telephoned Herman Coleman and told his story as though
- 24:22Speaker 4: it was based on facts rather than just his imagination.
- 24:26Speaker 4: In view of the above, this phase of the investigation
- 24:29Speaker 4: involving William David Ferry will be considered closed. Now what's
- 24:34Speaker 4: interesting here, Joe, is it sounds to me like David
- 24:40Speaker 4: Faerry threatened to probably kill Jack Martin for diamond him
- 24:46Speaker 4: out to the FED, and that Jack Martin just made
- 24:52Speaker 4: up the fact that he made up the story out
- 24:55Speaker 4: of thin air because of one very important fact that
- 25:01Speaker 4: is known about Jack Martin. We know for a fact
- 25:05Speaker 4: that he told the FBI that he had seen a
- 25:08Speaker 4: picture in David Faerry's apartment of Lee Harvey Oswald in
- 25:14Speaker 4: this civil air patrol with David Ferry. And that picture
- 25:19Speaker 4: was not seen by the public until the late eighties
- 25:23Speaker 4: early nineties.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, decades after.
- 25:27Speaker 4: So there's no way that Jack Martin could have known
- 25:29Speaker 4: that unless he had actually seen that picture. Okay, So
- 25:33Speaker 4: it sounds to me like Martin got to him and said, look,
- 25:35Speaker 4: you better shut the card, damn amount, I'm gonna you know,
- 25:39Speaker 4: I'm gonna pump you full of lead, buddy. So he
- 25:42Speaker 4: made up this telephone itis and thumb reason. You know,
- 25:46Speaker 4: I've decided to make up this story and you know
- 25:49Speaker 4: what I mean.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Yeah, And telephone itis is equivalent to like a drunk
- 25:57Speaker 1: calling drunk texting, right, I think we've then many of us.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Speak for yourself.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I sent back in my day, we.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Had to actually call. We couldn't just text to pick
- 26:15Speaker 4: up the phone. You had to know the number. Call.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Yeah, it's rough, very rough.
- 26:25Speaker 4: So then one document that I wanted to talk about
- 26:28Speaker 4: last week that I didn't upload and I didn't have
- 26:32Speaker 4: with me, and this will, this will, this will get
- 26:37Speaker 4: us all called up to this week is a letter
- 26:41Speaker 4: to Jim Garrison from Herrard Wiseberg on March sixteenth, nineteen
- 26:46Speaker 4: sixty eight. And oh it's a good one, he says.
- 26:52Speaker 4: While I was eating tonight, I was paged for a
- 26:55Speaker 4: phone call at the restaurant from Jack Martin, who said
- 27:00Speaker 4: he was in Texas. It strikes me as remarkable that
- 27:04Speaker 4: he knew where I was and what I had been doing.
- 27:11Speaker 4: He was precisely accurate, because these things he went into
- 27:14Speaker 4: are what I have been discussing. Either my room is
- 27:18Speaker 4: being bugged or there have been some excellent guesses. I
- 27:26Speaker 4: did discuss some but not all of it with Dean Andrews,
- 27:31Speaker 4: and I did get some of the information from Patricia Hoffman.
- 27:35Speaker 4: Whoever the hell that is, I don't know. Jack began
- 27:39Speaker 4: abruptly by talking about Mike Slatder. This man has interested
- 27:45Speaker 4: me since April thirtieth, when I learned of him from
- 27:47Speaker 4: Orris Painia, knowing that Paenia arranged for me to learn
- 27:52Speaker 4: something about him on this trip. Moreover, it is possible
- 27:56Speaker 4: to infer what Martin said that he assumed I knew
- 27:59Speaker 4: something about Slatter. Martin began by identifying Slatter as the
- 28:04Speaker 4: son of a former British Air marshal and a secret
- 28:07Speaker 4: friend and former frontman for George Lincoln Rockwell, the head
- 28:10Speaker 4: of the party.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, bad people.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Here. He also said that Banister was close to Rockwell ye,
- 28:22Speaker 4: and that Banister represented Rockwell. Martin said that Kent Courtney
- 28:26Speaker 4: presumably had those of Banister's files that were not burned
- 28:30Speaker 4: sent to Augusta, Georgia, to the publication known as The Thunderbolt.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yep. And I think it was Mary Banister that said
- 28:41Speaker 1: that she had sold some files to Kent Courtney. I
- 28:44Speaker 1: think we went all right. Yeah.
- 28:49Speaker 4: He now says that Banister and Delphine Roberts were quote
- 28:53Speaker 4: celebrating the assassination, and then when he asked them if
- 29:00Speaker 4: this is what they were doing, Banister slugged him in
- 29:05Speaker 4: Delphine's presence. He also said that just prior to his
- 29:09Speaker 4: being hit, he said he'd been talking about Ferry to Banister,
- 29:14Speaker 4: not all these things about which Martin could talk to me.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I'm wondering why he mentioned only things I discussed with
- 29:22Speaker 4: witnesses during the past few days. It was not until
- 29:26Speaker 4: about three nights ago that I learned about Slatter's name.
- 29:29Speaker 4: I discussed Banister's file with Dean Andrews last Saturday and
- 29:33Speaker 4: briefly this afternoon. Now, oras Panya did tell me that
- 29:38Speaker 4: although something showed signs of it.
- 29:46Speaker 1: I don't know what.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I can't read that word. It's blacked out, showed signs
- 29:53Speaker 4: of it. When she was with me for dinner Wednesday.
- 29:56Speaker 4: After they left, she was angry with him for a rain.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Now what he's talking about here is or Hispania arranged
- 30:06Speaker 4: for Harold Wiseberg to have dinner with Delphine Roberts. Okay, yeah,
- 30:14Speaker 4: that is interesting. After they left, she was angry with
- 30:18Speaker 4: him for arranging it. She called me a brain picker
- 30:23Speaker 4: and seemed pretty clearly to resent my having learned what
- 30:27Speaker 4: I had from her. So apparently he's smarter than the
- 30:32Speaker 4: average bear, and he got her to talk when she
- 30:37Speaker 4: didn't want to, she pipped. He goes on to say
- 30:43Speaker 4: Joe that Delphine now works at NASA at the Michaud plant.
- 30:55Speaker 4: She had been Mike Slatterer's girlfriend, whoever the hell Mike
- 30:59Speaker 4: slatter is, and also has been or Ispania's girlfriend on
- 31:05Speaker 4: and off. What so she's getting passed around like a
- 31:10Speaker 4: party joke, you know what I'm saying.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Yeah, And of course Rob, we know a lot of
- 31:16Speaker 1: the timan Lee Harvey after Riley was hopeful he would
- 31:25Speaker 1: possibly get hired by NASA, and a lot of people
- 31:28Speaker 1: from Riley, A.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Bunch of people that worked at Riley went to work there.
- 31:32Speaker 1: That's that's so interesting.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Yeah, So he says this about Delphine. She is a
- 31:41Speaker 4: local country girl in her thirties. I'd estimate blonde, at
- 31:49Speaker 4: least on Wednesday night she was with a vagrant right
- 31:53Speaker 4: hand lock that curls off to itself about five eight
- 31:58Speaker 4: and shoes that she had on. She is radical right,
- 32:02Speaker 4: has been friendly with Banister and still is with Badeaux.
- 32:06Speaker 4: Whoever that is. God says he wrote no Badeau. Okay,
- 32:12Speaker 4: he says he wrote a book after he went to
- 32:15Speaker 4: Jefferson Parish or As now thinks get this ship or
- 32:22Speaker 4: rest Pinion now thinks that Delphine was with him the
- 32:26Speaker 4: night of the Oswald drunk incident at his bar, that
- 32:35Speaker 4: when she was there she usually stayed up late with him,
- 32:42Speaker 4: and that she saw this drunk account. If so, she
- 32:47Speaker 4: made no reference to it the night when we dined together.
- 32:50Speaker 4: She then seemed pleasant. After dinner we adjourned to my
- 32:53Speaker 4: room for further discussion. So Widberg even got Delphine Roberts
- 32:58Speaker 4: up to his bed or his hotel room after dinner.
- 33:04Speaker 1: This is like a Hugh Ainsworth Marina type of thing.
- 33:08Speaker 4: Then too, she showed no resentment at being interviewed. So
- 33:17Speaker 4: that's crazy, bro, crazy, that's and that's real quick.
- 33:24Speaker 1: So, yeah, allegedly had a relationship with Delphine.
- 33:31Speaker 4: He was banging her off and on. He says now
- 33:35Speaker 4: that Delphine was there the night of the alleged Oswald's
- 33:38Speaker 4: drunk incident at his bar.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, so.
- 33:46Speaker 4: After all this talk about the NASA, you know Micheau incident, right,
- 33:54Speaker 4: I went looking a little bit about the what what
- 33:58Speaker 4: is this place? Right? I've heard about it. I don't
- 34:01Speaker 4: know what it is. I know it's NASA related. So
- 34:04Speaker 4: here's what here's here's the deal with Michelle.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:08Speaker 4: The facility was originally constructed in nineteen forty.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Okay, we don't we know. NASA wasn't around back then. Okay, But.
- 34:16Speaker 4: It was originally constructed in nineteen forty at the village
- 34:18Speaker 4: of Michell, Louisiana, by the Higgins Tucker division of Higgins
- 34:23Speaker 4: Industries under the direction of Andrew Jackson.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Higgins.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Construction was done on behalf of the United States government
- 34:31Speaker 4: for the war production during World War Two of Plywood
- 34:35Speaker 4: and Sea seventy six cargo planes and the Higgins boat
- 34:39Speaker 4: landing crap. The project cost one hundred and eighty million
- 34:43Speaker 4: dollars in nineteen forty. Yeah. I think that a lot
- 34:49Speaker 4: of money.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's two point eight billion now. Yeah. And
- 34:57Speaker 1: I think the landing crafts at Normany were the Higgins boats.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Right, yeah, yeah, I believe so. So it says production
- 35:06Speaker 4: of the C seventy six never commenced and it's dead.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Produce two Curtis see forty six commando planes in nineteen
- 35:13Speaker 4: forty three and the remaining order was canceled in nineteen
- 35:15Speaker 4: forty four. So for the first four years, after spending
- 35:21Speaker 4: one hundred and eighty million dollars to open as plant,
- 35:23Speaker 4: they never got their C seventy six production off the
- 35:27Speaker 4: ground and only produced two planes. But a giant waste
- 35:33Speaker 4: of money, right, So the facility was referred to as
- 35:40Speaker 4: the National Guard Field in nineteen forty nine. So within
- 35:48Speaker 4: the span of a decade and all this money poured
- 35:50Speaker 4: into it, it fizzled out and farted until finally they're
- 35:54Speaker 4: not even really using it anymore for anything. The war
- 35:57Speaker 4: is over now. It's the National Guard Field by nineteen
- 36:01Speaker 4: forty nine, and it became totally inactive by nineteen fifty two.
- 36:06Speaker 4: During the Korean War, it was enlisted to make engines
- 36:11Speaker 4: for the Sherman and Patent tanks and boasted a five
- 36:16Speaker 4: five hundred foot paved runway. It came under the management
- 36:20Speaker 4: of NASA in nineteen sixty one and was used for
- 36:25Speaker 4: the construction of the SIC first stage of the Saturn
- 36:28Speaker 4: b rockets and the SIB first stage of the Saturn
- 36:32Speaker 4: IB rockets built by Chrysler Corporation. It is the home
- 36:36Speaker 4: to the first stage of the last construction Saturn five
- 36:39Speaker 4: SA fifteen built by the Boeing Company. Okay, to check
- 36:45Speaker 4: out this, Joe, hold on. You know we're talking like
- 36:50Speaker 4: the ass end of these big ass rockets right right.
- 36:54Speaker 4: You know, this is like the fuel part of you know,
- 37:00Speaker 4: they get them off the ground. This is what the
- 37:03Speaker 4: inside of the show looks like. Now for the big
- 37:07Speaker 4: picture of view, well why not big picture, but here's
- 37:11Speaker 4: what it kind of looks like. It's kind of right
- 37:13Speaker 4: on a port, a little inland port there, Yeah, the
- 37:18Speaker 4: water where it has barges where they can ship off
- 37:21Speaker 4: you know, I guess pieces of parts around the horn
- 37:23Speaker 4: to either Texas or Florida. So it's kind of been
- 37:27Speaker 4: a good spot for NASA. And you can kind of
- 37:29Speaker 4: see the facility back there. Here's a better drone shot
- 37:33Speaker 4: of the facility and how actually big it is. It's
- 37:38Speaker 4: pretty huge now. Of course, if you remember some years
- 37:45Speaker 4: ago during Hurricane Katrina. Okay, New Orleans was hit very
- 37:51Speaker 4: hard by Hurricane Katrina. But luckily for the government funded
- 37:59Speaker 4: with show NASA plant. Okay, that is situated right on
- 38:04Speaker 4: the waterfront. Okay, it is the only thing that is
- 38:11Speaker 4: still above water and not flooded and green and grassy
- 38:15Speaker 4: with their little encampment there. H totally everything else, everything
- 38:22Speaker 4: else is underwater that you see, except for the Micheau
- 38:28Speaker 4: production facility, which is this green you know, to the
- 38:32Speaker 4: right of the picture. Everything else is actually underwater in
- 38:36Speaker 4: this picture. Wow.
- 38:39Speaker 1: So did they pick the high ground or did they?
- 38:43Speaker 1: I don't know, Joe.
- 38:44Speaker 4: It's a rabbit hole.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I did not go down.
- 38:46Speaker 4: But you know, insert conspiracy theory here is all I'm saying.
- 38:52Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Oh, I'm all about it, man,
- 38:55Speaker 1: I'm all about it. Yeah.
- 39:00Speaker 4: But yeah, they employed thousands of people. They built all
- 39:06Speaker 4: these rockets, and then they started building of course, fuel
- 39:11Speaker 4: tanks for the space shuttles and all that jazz portions
- 39:21Speaker 4: of check this out. NASA has an agreement in place
- 39:27Speaker 4: to rent out a portion of the facility to Big
- 39:30Speaker 4: Easy Studios Joe, a New Orleans film studio. This deal
- 39:36Speaker 4: has been criticized by competing studios as violating NASA's rule
- 39:40Speaker 4: that any deal with an outside entity must serve the
- 39:42Speaker 4: agency's mission and must not compete with the private sector.
- 39:46Speaker 4: NASA officials defend the agreement, stating that this helps offset
- 39:49Speaker 4: the cost of unused space at the facility. Some of
- 39:53Speaker 4: the movies that have been filmed here are partially filmed
- 39:56Speaker 4: here are the Harrison Ford movie End His Game, the
- 40:02Speaker 4: Channing Tata movie g I Joe Retaliation, and Dawn of
- 40:07Speaker 4: the Planet of the Apes. We're actually filmed at the
- 40:11Speaker 4: NASA show facility. Interesting, pretty great, Gray, right, Yeah, but
- 40:21Speaker 4: that is just a little bit of a clean up
- 40:23Speaker 4: from last week, So I apologize for that, and we're
- 40:29Speaker 4: going to get into it a little bit more about
- 40:32Speaker 4: another New Orleans figure, Joseph taken Away, my friend, Let's
- 40:38Speaker 4: learn a little bit more about mister Carlos Roga, who
- 40:44Speaker 4: actually have a couple of pictures of here real quick,
- 40:47Speaker 4: so let's show the people who we're talking about here. Okay,
- 40:52Speaker 4: this is Carlos Kiroga on the right, along with his
- 40:55Speaker 4: beautiful wife Maria Hiro.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a daughter An.
- 41:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and of course, as soon as Joe found out
- 41:07Speaker 4: she's one hundred percent Italian from Sicily, we're done here.
- 41:15Speaker 4: So you have a full blooded Cuban and a full
- 41:17Speaker 4: blooded Italian.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Having a baby.
- 41:19Speaker 4: You know that they're gonna be firecrackers. He had three daughters.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Now this is him and his wife again, this is
- 41:31Speaker 4: him with his three daughters. What you know, good looking family,
- 41:36Speaker 4: good looking guy, Carlos Karroga. And here he is with
- 41:40Speaker 4: his beautiful bride, still at the age of eighty, celebrating
- 41:45Speaker 4: their probably fifty or sixtieth winning anniversary. Right now, folks,
- 41:50Speaker 4: I did find this for Joe. Carlo's Karroga did pass
- 41:55Speaker 4: away in twenty nineteen, five years ago. Uh, he was
- 42:02Speaker 4: at the age of eighty three, and this is him.
- 42:06Speaker 4: It says right there. He proceeded in death by his parents,
- 42:12Speaker 4: survived by his loving wife of fifty nine years, Maria
- 42:16Speaker 4: shiro Kirouga. So this is definitely him, folks. So he
- 42:22Speaker 4: lived a nice long life. So Joe, let's find out
- 42:25Speaker 4: a little bit more about mister carlos Ka coum roll
- 42:31Speaker 4: like that, carlos k.
- 42:38Speaker 1: It's funny. My girlfriend asked me, She's like, what's your
- 42:41Speaker 1: topic today? And I said Carlos Kiroga and she was
- 42:44Speaker 1: like what what?
- 42:45Speaker 7: What?
- 42:47Speaker 4: Had no tune in find out?
- 42:48Speaker 1: You know, yeah, she's probably watching there. I'm probably gonna
- 42:52Speaker 1: text about it later.
- 42:55Speaker 4: Hey, yeah, let me uh bring this up here.
- 43:03Speaker 1: But before we do, Rob, the schedule for Lancer has
- 43:12Speaker 1: come out. Did you know that I did not.
- 43:16Speaker 4: I do know the title for the Lancer presentations apparently
- 43:21Speaker 4: came out. Oh folks, real quick, Joe, before you get
- 43:26Speaker 4: to tell this, before we get into this, tell the
- 43:29Speaker 4: story Doug of the Lone Cooming podcast. Everybody knows and
- 43:34Speaker 4: loves Doug wait or the Dallas Action Sorry.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Douglas.
- 43:44Speaker 8: Joke on Joe, I said, of course, why wouldn't I.
- 43:48Speaker 8: He's like, hey, man, we take it home from work
- 43:50Speaker 8: today and just say, hey, you know, I just got
- 43:53Speaker 8: home and I saw that they posted everybody's topics for
- 43:57Speaker 8: for for Lancer, know what everybody's gonna be talking about,
- 44:01Speaker 8: and just say just say something like really, dude, like
- 44:06Speaker 8: you couldn't come up with a better name, and just
- 44:08Speaker 8: leave it kind of vague. And then Joe took the
- 44:11Speaker 8: bait and he's like what did he say? I said, Uh,
- 44:17Speaker 8: Doug Campbell and Joe really present what we found on
- 44:20Speaker 8: the internet. I was like, really that you couldn't come
- 44:23Speaker 8: up with a better title than that, And uh, he
- 44:27Speaker 8: was like, where's I said, Lancer posted it? And he's like,
- 44:30Speaker 8: are you fuckingidding me? I said, no, dude, go look, He's.
- 44:34Speaker 4: Like I can't find it.
- 44:35Speaker 5: I can't find it.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I can't believe it.
- 44:39Speaker 4: In the meantime, me and Doug are dying. And yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 4: it went on for a couple of hours before we
- 44:44Speaker 4: finally uh he finally realized we were pulling pulling a
- 44:47Speaker 4: fast one on him.
- 44:50Speaker 1: But yeah, good stuff. Yeah. So, I mean, Doug and
- 44:54Speaker 1: I are like finalizing the name for our presentation and
- 44:57Speaker 1: Canadathan Gabby Senecer uh asked us for the presentation name
- 45:03Speaker 1: and Doug said, as a joke to me, the title
- 45:07Speaker 1: should just be things we found on the internet. And
- 45:10Speaker 1: then when you said that to me, I was like,
- 45:12Speaker 1: what that was a joke. He wasn't supposed to tell
- 45:14Speaker 1: them that, Like what the fuck? Like Like I was like,
- 45:21Speaker 1: you completely got me. I was it was a good
- 45:26Speaker 1: It was a good joke. And and then I messaged Doug.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I'm like, yo, brah, what's up? You told them that
- 45:33Speaker 1: was the name of our our presentation And then I
- 45:38Speaker 1: figured it out and uh, yes, I am, I am funny. No,
- 45:44Speaker 1: it's hilarious, and and I was I am the gullible one,
- 45:48Speaker 1: I think and uh, but you know, credit to uh
- 45:54Speaker 1: the Zeekers because we were initially going to respond uh
- 45:58Speaker 1: present on Sunday and you know I'm flying in Thursday night.
- 46:03Speaker 1: The twenty second is on a Friday, and I didn't
- 46:06Speaker 1: want to have to check out at the hotel and
- 46:09Speaker 1: worry about presenting and whatever else, So they moved us
- 46:12Speaker 1: to Saturday, and.
- 46:15Speaker 4: We'll pop the schedule back up there.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to have so Friday on the twenty second,
- 46:22Speaker 1: Mike Swanson, friend of the show Wall Street, Mike Yep
- 46:27Speaker 1: is going to lead it off target Cuba or Vietnam.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Then you have Sarah Jordan, Jordan Heights, Brian Edwards, Casey Quinnlin,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and then at dinner and special presentation which I don't
- 46:42Speaker 1: know what that is, but that will be interesting. And Rob,
- 46:45Speaker 1: we have to figure out what we're gonna do because,
- 46:49Speaker 1: as you know, we go live Friday nights. Friday, the
- 46:54Speaker 1: conference is the twenty second, might not be at seven pm.
- 46:57Speaker 1: We're in discussions, but maybe will have like some hotel
- 47:04Speaker 1: after We will go live.
- 47:07Speaker 4: At some point Friday evening. Yes, Joe may or may
- 47:11Speaker 4: not be drunk.

- 48:48Speaker 4: If there was another chicken.
- 48:49Speaker 1: There, maybe, if you were in there, maybe what And

- 50:01Speaker 4: uh sneeze at, so take advantage. Use code Gunman.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and and I think it's important to mention, you know,
- 50:12Speaker 1: there's a couple other not cool conferences going on at
- 50:18Speaker 1: Dallas at that time. Of course, the Judith very bigger
- 50:22Speaker 1: conference and one did you hear Did.
- 50:25Speaker 4: You hear about that? Real quick? I got an email, Yeah,
- 50:32Speaker 4: since you bring it up. Of course you got to
- 50:34Speaker 4: put this out there, because I was like, what the
- 50:37Speaker 4: F is going on here? I'm on so many of
- 50:41Speaker 4: these JFK email lists, you know. Yeah, I get shipped
- 50:46Speaker 4: from all around the world apparently, so somehow I'm on
- 50:54Speaker 4: uh see, I mean I know why I am. We
- 50:58Speaker 4: went to his con friends ten years ago.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Excuse me? Where is it?
- 51:09Speaker 7: M M.
- 51:12Speaker 9: I don't think, well, maybe I had deleted it. Let
- 51:16Speaker 9: me look at my trash can I don't think I
- 51:22Speaker 9: would have because I wanted to save it because I
- 51:25Speaker 9: couldn't believe it. Damn it search in mail from here
- 51:34Speaker 9: it is huh okay. Of course, the Cuckoo Conferences, as
- 51:40Speaker 9: it is effectually known, get this. One of the highlights
- 51:47Speaker 9: of their conference.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Joe is going to be.
- 51:51Speaker 4: The testimony and cross examination of Judith Varry Baker under
- 51:57Speaker 4: oathed hand on the Bible regarding her relationship with Lee
- 52:02Speaker 4: Harvey Oswald. And that's not all, folks. A noted trial
- 52:09Speaker 4: lawyer named Steve Kennedy will conduct an official deposition of
- 52:16Speaker 4: Judith Very Baker for the record, with JFK historian presenter
- 52:21Speaker 4: Dory Wiley providing the introduction. This is just one of
- 52:25Speaker 4: the many outstanding presentations at this event. You can find
- 52:28Speaker 4: all information concerning registration and hotel accommodations that are blah
- 52:31Speaker 4: blah blah blah blah blah.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I read that and I was like, you got to
- 52:37Speaker 1: be yeah, because it's obviously it could be under oath, right,
- 52:47Speaker 1: but it's not actually under oath, right unless you're testifying
- 52:53Speaker 1: grand jurior trial.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Like it's all official, Joe, it's all officials and on
- 52:59Speaker 4: the Bible, you know what I mean, Like it's for
- 53:02Speaker 4: real by a lawyer, a real life deposition named Kennedy
- 53:07Speaker 4: in the Bible Heart to God.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and a lawyer named Kennedy too.
- 53:15Speaker 4: So you gotta pardon me as my eyes rolled to
- 53:18Speaker 4: the back of my skull and then back around to
- 53:21Speaker 4: my eyeball of sockets.
- 53:23Speaker 10: Again, it's silly and it's nonsense, and I think most
- 53:30Speaker 10: our listeners know that. So silly, silly, Yeah, So we
- 53:35Speaker 10: implore you to support the Best Conference because a lot
- 53:39Speaker 10: of the present presenters there, you.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Know, good idea bungled hook that bitch up to a
- 53:50Speaker 4: polygraph machine.
- 53:52Speaker 1: But the problem with that they were bungled.
- 53:54Speaker 4: She probably believes she has been telling this lie for
- 53:57Speaker 4: so many years. Yeah, she probably believes every single delusional
- 54:03Speaker 4: word of it.
- 54:05Speaker 1: That's the problem exactly.
- 54:07Speaker 4: She is literally cuckoo. She comes out the clock every
- 54:12Speaker 4: hour on the hour.
- 54:15Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, And I do think
- 54:20Speaker 1: you're right. She probably believes it at this point, so
- 54:23Speaker 1: she might pass like a few questions and then everyone
- 54:27Speaker 1: will be like, oh, she's told the truth, but like.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Doug Campbell will be doing the cross examination and she
- 54:35Speaker 4: just very bigger.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Well, Rob, let me say it only So there are
- 54:41Speaker 1: three conferences, right, and all of them are going to
- 54:49Speaker 1: be in the Lee Plaza on the twenty second, which
- 54:54Speaker 1: is Friday, So you're going.
- 54:55Speaker 4: To have well, here's the thing, Joe. So when I
- 55:00Speaker 4: was there in twenty nineteen, same thing. You have the
- 55:04Speaker 4: Cuckoo conference going on, and then Lancer and Kappa were
- 55:10Speaker 4: doing a conference together. So all three were in Daly
- 55:15Speaker 4: Plaiza at the same time in twenty nineteen, and you
- 55:21Speaker 4: had Judith Baker and Beverly Oliver Ango is the writer behind.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Was he there, Yeah, he was there wet pants and
- 55:37Speaker 4: bel cur shoes and all. But in his defense, he
- 55:42Speaker 4: did sleep through a few presentations. But again, yeah, you
- 55:49Speaker 4: can't make this stuff up. But again, all three were there.
- 55:53Speaker 4: They're putting on a show. Beverly's singing, you know, Judy's
- 55:58Speaker 4: you know, giving this big speech, and it was just
- 56:02Speaker 4: and everybody's like, the fuck is going on here?
- 56:05Speaker 1: You know?
- 56:05Speaker 4: Basically it was a ship show.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's exactly what it's gonna be.
- 56:11Speaker 4: I feel like people yelling shut up, liar.
- 56:15Speaker 1: I mean it was just off the hook.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Bro, Wow, people shut up.
- 56:21Speaker 1: No, you shut up. We might have to live stream
- 56:25Speaker 1: that one, Rob, but.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Really live from the grassy. No on my scooter.
- 56:34Speaker 1: And hello, mister Douglas.
- 56:38Speaker 4: D C is in the house. We're not We're not lying, Doug.
- 56:42Speaker 4: I'm telling you you're you're gonna have the Cuckoo Conference,
- 56:46Speaker 4: You're gonna have the old fart Conference, which is Kappa,
- 56:49Speaker 4: and then you're gonna have Lancer, which is actually having
- 56:52Speaker 4: a lot of the younger generation of researchers there. Now
- 56:55Speaker 4: there will be some a couple of elderly folks there,
- 56:58Speaker 4: but not you know. The slory of it is new faces.
- 57:01Speaker 1: They even are.
- 57:02Speaker 4: Going out of a limb this year and allowing a
- 57:04Speaker 4: known loan nutter to present. Okay, Fred Litwin, who just
- 57:09Speaker 4: to piss everybody off, we're going to have on the
- 57:11Speaker 4: show here in a couple of weeks.
- 57:14Speaker 1: Wow. So wow.
- 57:17Speaker 4: I think it's only fair. Uh you know, because look,
- 57:21Speaker 4: if it doesn't matter where it comes from, if somebody
- 57:25Speaker 4: can set the record straight about something that has been
- 57:28Speaker 4: cannon for fifty or sixty years, and something comes along
- 57:33Speaker 4: where somebody can debunk something that has been held as
- 57:37Speaker 4: a you know, close for example, in his new book,
- 57:42Speaker 4: and he's representing about this in Dallas as well. He
- 57:46Speaker 4: can seemingly, he says, he can seemingly debunk the Rose
- 57:49Speaker 4: share Me story, So that would be interesting. Maybe he can,
- 57:54Speaker 4: maybe he can't. I don't know. I have not read
- 57:56Speaker 4: his book yet. I have not heard what he has
- 57:57Speaker 4: to say about it at all. But if he found
- 58:02Speaker 4: something that debunks the Rows share Me story, then we
- 58:06Speaker 4: need to know about it. Yeah, and its to l
- 58:09Speaker 4: answer for having him there. And while there he is
- 58:13Speaker 4: going to be, you know, a piece of pepper and
- 58:17Speaker 4: a salt shaker. So be nice to Fred. Friend's a
- 58:21Speaker 4: nice guy. Don't go out in sideways. He's very reasonable
- 58:25Speaker 4: to talk to unless you're just stupid.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:30Speaker 4: You know, both sides have crazy nutbags on him. The
- 58:34Speaker 4: lone nutters have them, the conspiracy side has them.
- 58:38Speaker 1: You know, you can go to a.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Whole conference of kooky ass shit if you want to.
- 58:44Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, People that make conspiracy theoris
- 58:47Speaker 4: look bad right over there, you know, Or you can
- 58:52Speaker 4: break coot and come together where we present things in
- 58:56Speaker 4: a nice manner with respectable people and let the chips
- 59:01Speaker 4: lie where they may haven't. Maybe Fred got some stuff right,
- 59:04Speaker 4: maybe he didn't.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 59:06Speaker 4: I haven't heard it yet, but hopefully he would join
- 59:09Speaker 4: us here on the show before Lancer uh here in
- 59:12Speaker 4: a couple of weeks. I want a chance to read
- 59:13Speaker 4: his book first before I have him on. He has
- 59:16Speaker 4: reached out to me. I've not answered him yet because
- 59:18Speaker 4: I just got his book in the mail the other day,
- 59:21Speaker 4: but I have not read it yet. So but he
- 59:23Speaker 4: definitely wants to come on the show, and we will
- 59:25Speaker 4: have him on the show. And it is what it is,
- 59:29Speaker 4: so yeah, and Rob tune for that.
- 59:33Speaker 1: That's uh. Rob has dropped that on me too. And
- 59:37Speaker 1: you know, I never got the the idea of just
- 59:41Speaker 1: because someone has a different opinion or take on things,
- 59:46Speaker 1: that they should be boycotted or completely vilified. Like and
- 59:52Speaker 1: I've never spoken with Fred law I listened to the
- 59:56Speaker 1: episode you had with them.
- 59:57Speaker 11: Uh.
- 59:58Speaker 1: But like I, I think the book is debunking a
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: lot of Garrison things. Maybe he's right on some of them,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: maybe he's wrong on some of them, but it gives
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: us better clarity, if you can tie up one or
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: two things whatever. I don't know.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: It's like our buddy Will says, there's another thing he does.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: He goes in on Richard case Negel. Yeah, which I've
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: even gone in onto before. Garrison's mister X's Miguel full
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: of shit. Probably there's no evidence was over to back
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: up any of his claims. Yeah, you know he was injured.
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: Is what happened in the bank weird? Yeah? Does it
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: mean anything?
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but apparently, you know, liv And says he can
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: debut it, So you know, we're gonna have him on
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: and see what he has to say. Yeah, that's what
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: we can do, is have a conversation about it. Yeah,
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: then you can you can choose from there whether you
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: want to agree or not.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: You know, but.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: And I enough to say, Okay, let him on. Let's
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: have a conversation about it, see what he has to say. Yeah.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: You know, just because he's a learned another does not
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: mean I automatically it will be like, no, dude, you
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: can't go on the show. I don't want to hear
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: what you have to say.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Blah blah blah.
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: But there are people like that right, who won't have
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: somebody like Fredlick went on the show because they're scared
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: scared of what, you know, scared of what a disagreement
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: having a conversation was. Look, we're all human beings, Okay.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: Obviously Fred cares a lot about the Garretson investigation and
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: the wrongs done against Clay Shaw and the homosexual community
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: and all of that jazz, and he has every break
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: to feel that way, and some of it is very,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: very valid for sure. So it's important to have people
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: like that on the show to have a conversation. You know,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: he does research, he does go by the documents, so
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: we're gonna have him on and have a conversation, So
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: stay tuned.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I I never got the whole like if you're
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: a low nutter, like I'm going to completely tune you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: out type of thing. I never got it, maybe because
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: like I never like like got involved in the message boards,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: like the fights on them, and I don't know, it's
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: just it's not me, like I'm I'm happy to listen
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: to anyone's opinion as long as they're relatively informed, you
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: know what I mean. But some people that it's like
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I'm not scared to rock a pink vape.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: So no, it is what it is.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: I'm man enough to rock a pink vape. Yeah, okay,
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: I question me.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Pink berry ice play bergroom, Yeah, exactly exactly.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Well, you have to for the next quick hits.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: But more of that.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Your boy is a clair voyant. That's all I'm gonna say.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Just that's a little preview for next quick hit. Clay Burkin,
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: good hit too.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: All right, well, all right, let's get into Carlos Kiroga
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: for a little while. And he is an interesting figure
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: in Now Orleans. MS Gassin who admittedly met Lee Harvey Oswalt.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: He was a Cuban exile and anti Castro Cuban residing
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in New Orleans, and following Oswalt's arrest on August ninth,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: nineteen sixty three, Kiroga on August sixteenth, contacted Oswalt went
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: over to his apartment on Magazine Street at the behest
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: of Carlos Springer in an effort to penetrate Oswalt's fair
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: play for Cuba Committee organization.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: So thought you're gonna say to penetrate Lee Harvey oswalk Well,
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: this boy, hitter, I think I.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Can't debunk that per se.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: But uh, just with future reverence. Watch out for the
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: next quick hitsause we might be talking about that as well.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: Played Berkeley good Ye all right, So.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: A lot of people have written about carlos Kiroga and
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: among the best researchers in the community. From the twelfth
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: part essay The twelve Whood built the Oswalt legend by
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Bill Simpach. He gave the old time.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: So, like most of us know, on August ninth, nineteen
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: sixty three, uh, there was a fracas in New Orleans
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: or Brigner and a couple other Cuban exiles and Lee
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Harvey osw Walt were arrested for I think it was
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: disturbing the peace. And on August tenth, I just want
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: to go over the timeline real quickly. That is when
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Special Agent John quickly reported that Oswalt was desirous of
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: seeking an FBI agent and supplying him information with regards
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to his activities with a Fair Play for Cuba committee
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: on August sixteenth, and I believe we have footage of this,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: rob This was the footage of Oswalt passing out leaflets
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: with a couple other young people and that was I
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: believe after.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: Well, we don't have footage, but there is footage.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I mean I think we showed it at some point
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: recently in the past month. That's debatable. Yeah, it comes
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: to play. What's up, Lee? Thank you, Thank you, buddy,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: appreciate it. Thanks dollars for Joe.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Copping the buzz before the conference. I'm sure that will
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: actually happen, Lee, money well invested, sir, hoping.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I respect that one. Thank you.
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: You can have a nice mixed drink for ten dollars,
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: my friend. And so.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see so on Oswalt's six On August sixteenth,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Oswalt went out to leaflet again with Banister's five forty
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: four Campster address stamped on his fair play for Cuba leaflets.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: He had some interesting company at the site. The maintenance
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: supervisor at the trademark, mister Bridges, was on the scene.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: The owner of the trademark, Clay Shaw, had been a
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: CIA source for many years. Dr E Military Leader is
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: a drow Borja was watching and w DSU TV filmed
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the eight sixteen Did you.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Play as over in the on August ninth section that
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: FBI informant or Spania was watching Oswald and that CIA
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: agent William Goldette was watching Oswald as well from his office.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: I think I did, sir, Yeah, I just wanted to
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: reiterate that Thankane comes up again.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, and yeah, very interesting there, Thank you, Rob.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: And so Later on August sixteenth, Cuban exiles Carlos Curroga,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: FBI and Formant number T five visited Oswalt with the
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: ostensible purpose of trying to join the Fair Play for
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Cuba Committee. The story is that Curroga was asked by
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: bringing to penetrate Oswalt's group. Oswalt's land lady said that
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: she saw Kiroga was delivering a five inch stack of
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: fair Play for Cuba Committee flyers to Oswalt and let
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: it be known that she didn't want any of those
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: flyers around her property. Kioga said that Oswalt, this was
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Oswalt's land lady and magazine street.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: So she said, Carlos Karroga delivered fair Play for Cuba
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Committee flyers a five inch stack to Oswald.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Correct, And that's that's a detailed the description of yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: it doesn't.
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: It doesn't line up with Kiroga's story that he's trying
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: to be an undercover informant. For the you know, for
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: the DA or the or the New Orleans Police or
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: the FBI by penetrating Oswald's Fair Play for Cuba Committee group.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: That sounds to me like he's part of helping Oswald
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: in his little fair Play for Cuba ruse.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: You know, yeah, it's uh, it's very fascinating. And Kurroga
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: said that Oswalt spent a little time with him but
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: told him to go away. It's hard to say if
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: they were adversaries or actually working in concert. So I think,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you know, carlos Kiroga friends with Brigner, involved with the CRC.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: He was actually let go of being an FBI informant
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: because they had not liked his quote detective mindset right,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: like he was going around kind of playing double agent
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: and and they didn't like that. So he was up
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to something and he oh my godness here.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: On the.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: So this is a little snippet from Tipping Point by
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Larry Hancock about carlos Kiroga. As noted above, Lee Harvey,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Oswalt was already engaged with the Fair Play for Cuba
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Committee as a pro castro supporter when he made his
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: first contact with the Cuban community in New Orleans a
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: contact with its most active anti Castro element. The much
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: discussed contact began with an offer to buy bonds which
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: the Diary had had been selling. Oswalt's offer of financial
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: support for the anti castro effort was immediately rejected. And
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: that's when he was told he was told they were
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: no longer be sold. And that's when he offered his
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: service as a military trainer. Yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: Thanks, Philip Garacci, the third Great continued, sir.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Thank you. Phil Oswalt's landlady at the time later interviewed
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and described seeing kurroga visit Oswalt caring what appeared to
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: be a stack of leaflets, very possibly Fairplay for Cuba leaflets.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Oswald can be shown to have requested materials from the
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Fair Play for Cuba Committee itself. However, an approach by
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Kioga with FPCC materials in hand would have certainly been
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: consistent with the visit being a test of Oswalt's true affiliations.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: So this is August sixteenth, It's a week after the fracas, right,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: six days after.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: They had right around the time he's going on the
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: radio and TV interviews, right.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he went on the day after. Yeah, So Krougus
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: kinda going to Oswalt feeling him out and seeing what
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: really is he up to? Is he a communist uh
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: publicly and like trying to drop draw out other communists,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: or is he actually Procastro and allegedly bring.
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: Here or is he trying to work with Oswald bringing
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: him leapless to hand out.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Yes, that's a simple explanation.
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: I mean you're trying to get you know, we're trying
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: to go too deep here making speculations when you know
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: howkins razor, Hey, if if Caruga is bringing Oswald flyers
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: the hand out what to tell you, then he's either
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: part of the effort to set up Oswald for this,
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: you know. And he was also very very chummy with
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Sergio or conscious Smith, who's his His organization was held
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: at five point forty four Camp Street, which showed up
- 1:13:19Speaker 4: on the flyers, which it's odd. So maybe it wasn't
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Oswald to put that that address on it. Maybe he
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: got it from Caroga and his stack fly.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very possible. It's just interesting. It's a week
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: after the whole fracas and they're kind of the exiles
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: are kind of testing Oswald out right.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Yeah, and this is after swarming him at the courtroom
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: for his bail hearing. Yeah yeah, and we should that
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: it included Caroga bring A.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Who else was it Amelia Rodrigez I believe, or Ernessa
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: or Amelia Rorigos, one of the Emilia. I think it
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: was Amelia. Yeah, yeah, very interesting. So what the hell
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: is going on here?
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: This I found in the Malcolm Blunt archives. And Kuruga
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: is a Cuban refugee and a militant anti Castro partisan.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: He appears to have known Guy Banister and told Washington
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Star staff writer that Ferry had been a frequent visitor
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: at Banister's offices. He has confidential informant number n O
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: T five, number T five. Who who gave you New Orleans?
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I thought it was a number,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: reading quickly, yeah, yep, yeah, good, thank you.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: He had gone to Oswald's home on Magazine Street on
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: a pretext of interest in the fair Play for Cuba
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: committee and obtained some literature. After a lengthy discussion with Oswalt,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: he turned the literature over to Carlos Brignier, who was
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: also carefully following Oswalt's activities. Kurroga offered his services to
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: the New Orleans District Attorney staff as a kind of
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: undercover agent in the Fair Play for Cuba Committee, but
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: was rejected.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Yep, yep.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: And we just mentioned him. Rob Arnesto Rodriguez, who we
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: did a segment recently. Oswaldt went to him. He was
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: running the language school. Yeah, told interviewing Secret Service agents
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: on December first, nineteen sixty three.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: That I'm sorry and continue, I just said this. This
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: backs up what I just said, Yeah, exactly.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Uh, that Kuruga had been closely associated with Sergio Kasha
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Smith in the CRC before Smith left the group. Uh.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Kiuga was served with a subpoena on May eighth and
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: appeared before the New Orleans Grand Jury. And we will
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: get to that in a second. Rob, his grand jury
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: testimony is worth its weight and laughs.
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: Yeah, so is his polygraphic examination.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh, let's just get to it now. So he
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: did not want to talk to the Garrison grand jury
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: at all? How many people did?
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: True?
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: And you'll uh, you'll see why now. Uh he says
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: he don't. He doesn't. He has been threatened by a
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: man in the District Attorney's office with perjury if he
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: testified So he's saying someone in Garrison's office threatened him
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: with perjury if he testified. Therefore, he does not want
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: to incriminate himself and will stand on his constitutional rights.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: This is Alcock, I believe. Well, let me ask you this, Carlos.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Are you saying that, beyond your name and address, you
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: will not testify? If I would testify, I would be
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: threatened by a man in the DA's office with perjury.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I do not want to testify. I stand on my rights.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Mister Alcock. I would like to get from you today.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: What sort of threat you are talking about. He goes,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I can't testify here because I've been threatened. He repeats it, right,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: who threatened you? I stand on my rights. So it's
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: an interesting defense, right, I'm not sure if he's threatened,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: but interesting strategy here. And do you think you'd be
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: incriminating yourself if you name the man who threatened you
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: in the District Attorney's office? Because they're taking this pretty
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: seriously in the grand jury, right he's saying this, Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: mister Garrison chimes in, Now let me tell you this,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: regardless of what any member of my staff may have
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: told you, I am now telling you I'm the DA,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: and you will not be charged with perjury if you
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: tell the truth. We only charge people with perjury when
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: they lie under oath. Now I have told you that
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: as DA, and you can disregard the so called threat
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: you are talking about. Now, will you testify and answer
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: our questions? I again don't want to criminate myself, so
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: you can imagine how frustrated.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: But again, if he's doing this stuff with Oswald, he
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: has every right to be scared to death to testify,
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: to incriminate himself. He doesn't want to talk to Garrison
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: for a good reason. Yeah, especially if they know that
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: he's lying. Because well, we'll get to it. Yeah.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: And mister there's only one problem, Carlos. You told us
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: these things, but when you were asked the same questions
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: in front of the lie detector test, the lie detector
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: indicated you were not telling the truth in regard to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: all these points. Of course, we want the truth, not
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: what you told them. Yeah, why don't you tell them
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: the rest of the story about the lie detector test? Again,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: a fascinating response in the Grand Jury. I will be
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: glad to mister Garrison. In fact, I will ask you
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: all the questions I asked you during the polygraph. Well,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: let's stick to the point. Let's not start on that
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: long story anyway. Mister Ricardo Davis is lying, is lying, okay.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: David Lewis told us that he saw you with Lee
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Harvey Oswalt on at least four occasions. In fact, he
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: said that he had never seen Lee Harvey also walk
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: without your being with him.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: Now we have.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Now we gave him the light detector test on that
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: question and he passed it. And when we gave you,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Carlos Kiroga a light detector test on your statement that
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: you only saw Oswald once, you failed it. And Kiroga's response, again, gentlemen,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I have come here with good intentions. I am telling
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you the truth and nothing but the truth. So help
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: me God, interest And I'm skipping. I'm skipping along because
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: it's actually seventy pages long.
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a long one.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: It's really long. Have you ever been in five point
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: forty four Camp Street in early sixty one and early
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: sixty two? Yes, I was. Were you a member of
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: an organization which had offices there? Which offices you mean,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: says Garrison, the Cuban Democrat Democratic Revolutionary Front? Where you
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: associated with them, and he goes and Garrison answer him again.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Were you associated with any organization that had offices at
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: five point forty four km Street. Yes, Kroga says it
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: closed down in sixty two, mister Ravel closed the office.
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Did you ever see Sergio Katcha Smith there?
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: Did you ever see David Ferry there in that office
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: in sixty one? Yes, Kioga?
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: I think so.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: H So, then they got down to the polygraph, and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Kiroga's like, I don't want to answer these questions. I
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: answered them already in the polygraph, Like go back to that,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: like he's he's being a He's really like annoying them.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: And but you took the polygraph and you passed most
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: of the questions. Now I want to talk about some
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: of the questions you failed. We can go into my
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: instance of your taking the test, and I did insist that,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: but we can go into that later. But let's go
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: into the questions you failed. You passed many of them,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: and you don't seem to have been affected by your
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: nervous condition. Then, knowing Oswalt, knowing that he was not
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: actually a communist, knowing that the fair play for Cuba
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: was a cover in those areas. The lie detector test
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: showed that you were lying. That is what we want
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: to go into today instead of stalling and going in
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: other directions. And Kiroga says the same thing he's been
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: saying for a long time now. I don't want to
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: incriminate myself. I stand on my rights of the Fifth Amendment,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: mister Garrison, mister k Among the questions you failed and
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: the light detector test was the question do you have
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: any firsthand knowledge of the conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy?
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: And you answered no, and the light detector test indicated
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: that there was deception on your part. What do you
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: have to say about that? And this is interesting, Rob
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: because a few times a juror in the grand jury
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: is asking a question and chiming in. I've never seen
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: that before. And if you don't want publicity, this is
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: your place to say it. We want to help protect
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: your family. We know there's reluctance is from getting this
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: out and your parents suffering. We want to help you.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: And Carlos Kiroga's father was in a Cuban prison at
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: the time, So this is the excuse he gave. He
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: doesn't want to talk because if he did, Castro would
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: kill his father, and Krogas says this the meeting I
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: had Lee Harvey Oswald in sixty three, I gave full
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: information to the FBI and the Secret Service, and I
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: requested them not to make a public at the time.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: And again, my father was in prison. I could be
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: shot at any time, and they still made it public.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: They did not give it to the public because, for example,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: I myself and who have still in my possession a
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: slip to join that organization and a crime against Cuba
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: blah blah blah. So he's allegedly concerned that he doesn't
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: want his name to get out because his dad is
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: still in a Cuban prison and that he might get
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: shot if you talked. So I don't think that's the reason,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: but I mean it's a decent cover, right, Yeah, And
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: again Carlos Kroga seemed to have a good one to
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: live in a nice, nice long life with his family
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: and extended family, these grandkids and everything. And you know,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: if you want to know more about him, just like
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: I said, look up his obituary and at this funeral
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: home site website they have.
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: You know how sometimes when people pass away, they'll have
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: like a photo thing going on in the background or
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: a video or whatever. And there's like one hundred and
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: fifty pictures of this guy's life. I mean he was
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: He looked like a real character, a fun loving guy,
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: very involved with his family, you know, and we love
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: to dress up for Halloween apparently, and did a lot
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: of traveling, you know, all around the world, back to
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: Italy and Egypt and.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: All kinds of cool stuff. So did this guy know something?
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: But I think he did. I think he was a
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: little bit more than what.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: He might have been saying.
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: Uh, you know, yeah, he certainly interesting.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Yeah, and uh somehow because I know we got a
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Richard case Negell comment earlier, according to Miguel Bregnier, colleague
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: who played the role who played a role in setting
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Oswald up as a pass, he was none other than
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Carlos Kiroga and Harrison Polygaphic Kioga Uh and other research
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: proved Kigoga new Banister and Sergio Kasha Smith had met
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: Oswalt more than once and supplied Oswalt with fair play
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: for Cuba literature on the orders of bringing a and
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Uh goes on to say Kioga was showing up line
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: by the polygraph when he claimed to met Oswalt only once.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: And Joan Mellon has an interesting a couple of paragraphs
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: about him too, but I don't want to take up
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: all the time. But very interesting that this character who
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: met Oswald only once but allegedly gave him leaflets and
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: involved were Brignier obviously a big anti Castro exile. A
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: lot more going on here, Rob than I was on
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: the surface.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: Just to wrap up a little bit about him, say
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: hello to his father in law, Victor Sheiro, mayor of
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: New Orleans folks from sixty one until nineteen seventy, so
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: his father in law was the mayor of New Orleans
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: during all this time during the assassination, during the Garrison investigation,
- 1:28:05Speaker 4: his father in law, Victor Shiro is the mayor, Okay,
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: the mayor. Maybe that's why he's back when mayor's actually
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: had pull yeah and power.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy. Maybe that's why he has such confidence
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: and rejecting and being so standoffish with the Garrison investigation.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: Right like my father in laws the mayor, Like, what
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: are you gonna do to me?
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: Yea, Victor Hugo.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: Shiro.
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: His daughter Maria is who Carlos Kiroga. Mary now Victor
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: Hiro was born in Chicago, Illinois, and he was a
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: son of Andrew Edward and Mary Pizzatti. Shiro immigrants of Italian,
- 1:28:57Speaker 4: specifically Sicilian origins. Joe Mafia connections anyone. It's the home
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: of Lacostre nostra, that's for sure, and the Marcelos Shiro
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: spent his young adulthood in Honduras in California, where he
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: worked as a movie extra. So you'd looking guy like that,
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: and he co managed a Nevada goldmine before returning to
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: New Orleans. He worked briefly as an assistant cameraman for
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: director Frank Capra. Having returned to New Orleans in nineteen
- 1:29:33Speaker 4: twenty eight, Shiro became a radio announcer and in thirty
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: two Shiro married Mary Margaret Gibbs, better known as Sonny Shiro.
- 1:29:42Speaker 4: Like I said, he became mayor in nineteen sixty one,
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: And a little bit about this guy. His motto was
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: if it's good for New Orleans, then I'm for it, okay.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: But he was very personally okay, opposed to integration. This
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: is another vehement segregationist who is the mayor of New Orleans. Okay.
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: From sixty one to seventy. Okay, we're talking prime Leander
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: Perez time, who was also another big money segregationists down there.
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: Siro defeated, Get this, Joe, the Republican candidate for mayor
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: at the time, one Elliott Ross Buckley, cousin of newspaper
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: columnists and magazine publisher William F. Buckley of New York City.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: And we know that William F.
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: Buckley's brother, Ross used to hang out at the bars
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: with Kerrie Thornley, okay, back in like nineteen the early sixties,
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: but apparently had a cousin, Elliott Ross Buckley, who is
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: another newspaper columnist, magazine publisher, a cousin okay of Ross
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: and Ross was William F. Buckley Junior's brother. This was
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: their cousin, Elliott Ross Buckley. That's who he beat. Sheiro
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: only received three percent of the black vote in the
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: runoff with it Duplantier. As before, he defeated Elliott Ross Buckley.
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: So this guy was such a segregation as Joe. Apparently.
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: Let's see when you find this, because it's interesting. Let's see.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Okay, here we go.
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: One of Shiro's final acts in office was to reinstall
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: the Battle of Liberty Place monument, which honored a failed
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: coupe by the paramilitary White League of the sitting Republican
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: governor William Pitt Kellogg, who supported voting rights for blacks.
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: The inscription on the monument, which Shiro erected at the
- 1:32:23Speaker 4: foot of Canal Street, celebrated the return of white supremacy
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: in the South. Shiro had left a monument which had
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: been removed for construction and the storage facility for the
- 1:32:33Speaker 4: entirety of his two terms as mayor of New Orleans,
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: and on his way out he put it back.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: So at least he put it back, that's crazy.
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: In two thousand and one, Victor Shiro was posthumorously posthumously
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: inducted into the Louisiana Political Museum and Hall of Fame
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: in Winfield Off Louisiana's I guess you know it was
- 1:33:04Speaker 4: a very important segregation. As Maya Jo yeahs Dan in
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: Orleans and we get v h S. That's Victor Hugo
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: Shiro VHS off of the screen after Paula Jane, thank you,
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: thank you, thank you much appreciate it.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Next up we're Gonnall Trey said one corner of the
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: French Quarter used to be known as the Sicilian Corner. Interesting.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: Well, the Goomba's hung out right, Ah, the Goombas and
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: scafus of New Orleans and a very rough part of town.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: Yea, and Trey said he had seen the monument and
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: his that's been taken away.
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: Well, I hope so, Trey. Well, I don't know.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: It's very interesting about the money.
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: Anyway. Let's get into a statement from David Lewis December
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: the fifteenth, nineteen and sixty six. From January sixty one
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: to January sixty two, he worked as a private investigator
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: for Guy Banister and Associates. In the late summer of
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: sixty three, he was reporting to Louisiana State Employment Office
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: at six oh one Camp Street. He used to stop
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: by several times, banished his office to seek sidework, and
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: on one occasion went to Mancuso's on the corner and
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: saw Arkasha with carlos Ki Roga who we just talked about,
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: and was introduced by Carlos to Lee Harvey Oswald at
- 1:34:55Speaker 4: Mancuso's right beside Guy banished his office. I have now
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: determined the through photographs that Lee Harvey was, in fact
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: Lee Harvey Oswald. He says that Lee Harvey didn't talk much,
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: he seemed anxious to leave and appeared to be nervous.
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: Carlos Sergio as in arcascious, Smith and Oswald were involved
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: in some business which dealt with Cuba. Oswald dressed in
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: dark slacks, light blue split shirt whatever that means, I guess,
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: button up, short sleeves and Carlos all right, I'm sorry, Carlos.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: Who's man whose last name I don't know. That's ki
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: Roga is a well dressed man, black hair, black eyes,
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: five eleven to six feet, very good looking. But Arkasha
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: appeared to be the boss. So Oswald three or four
- 1:35:52Speaker 4: times in the neighborhood of Lafayette camp at about went
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: to banish his office and they shut the door to
- 1:36:00Speaker 4: the inner office. There were Ferry Arkasha and Lee Harvey. Okay,
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: and that was a statement made by him. Now, lou
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: Ivon interviewed David Lewis later on the day after he
- 1:36:20Speaker 4: made a statement, and he says he saw He told
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: Ivan lou Ivan that he saw Oswald no more than
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: four times each time in the company of Carlos, which
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: you brought up in that document. Four times exactly okay.
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: Carlos had closed door dealings with Banister. Arkasha, who appeared
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: to be the boss, also dealt with Banister nature of
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: business unknown. Also knew Ferry. Identifies pictures of Ferry and
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: also one of Oswald as a man he knew as Lee.
- 1:36:51Speaker 4: Harvey met Ferry and Banish's office. Once went with Jack Martin,
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: Joe Newborrough and Louise Decker to Ferry's home and I
- 1:37:01Speaker 4: was just along for the ride. Trip had something to
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: do with Eastern Airlines. IM not sure if I ever
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: saw Oswald with Fairry.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: That is one thing that has really.
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: Bucking me, because I knew both of them around the
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: same time. Wait, David fer Carlos was that other man
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: in Oswald? Wasn't There was another man there? There was
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: another man there. It may have been, but I'm not
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: sure because I remember this particular day I came in
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: and as soon as I came into the office, I
- 1:37:29Speaker 4: looked into Banish's office, Ferry Banister at his desk, and
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: this other guy back into the left of Faerry was there.
- 1:37:36Speaker 4: It may have been Oswald. Carlos was just sitting in
- 1:37:39Speaker 4: another chair in the office at Fairi's apartments. Once who
- 1:37:44Speaker 4: was there. Two young men were at Ferry's house when
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: we arrived. One kind of looked like Oswald, but he
- 1:37:52Speaker 4: had sandy or blondish color hair, and the name Kroga
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: sounds familiar. I could identify him. Lewis later identified a
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: picture of Carlos Karroga is the man he knows is Carlos.
- 1:38:06Speaker 4: So there you have that, Joe, Yeah, and.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Some work corroboration there for sure.
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: Yeah. So this is a very short clip of David
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: Lewis being interviewed. Now this is a couple of days
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: before David Ferry is found dead. Okay, this is February nineteenth,
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: nineteen sixty seven. Here is David Lewis.
- 1:38:34Speaker 12: Absolutely new person's involved in this particular time in the
- 1:38:38Speaker 12: question mister Garison is investigating. At this time, I did
- 1:38:43Speaker 12: know certain people that money would be capable of such
- 1:38:46Speaker 12: a plot and if you told him of these things, definitely,
- 1:38:50Speaker 12: I feel as my media of the talent, there's nothing else.
- 1:38:54Speaker 4: Why has it been so long, It's been three years.
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: Why hasn't this been brought out before?
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: And that I do not know.
- 1:39:00Speaker 12: I think it's something that should have been done by
- 1:39:02Speaker 12: other people, including the people they weren't Commission.
- 1:39:07Speaker 4: Have you offered your information to the FBI, And definitely not.
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: And then no, one of the FBI hasn't even approached
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: me as yet. So there you have that, he said,
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: definitely not. Nobody from the FBI has talked to him.
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: Now I have another short clip where they talked to
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: David Lewis. Now this is one day after David Fairry
- 1:39:30Speaker 4: is found dead, so this is four days later. Then
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: his first interview one day after Fairry is found dead.
- 1:39:39Speaker 4: Take it away, David Lewis.
- 1:39:43Speaker 13: Earlier this week, Lewis, the father of four, said he
- 1:39:45Speaker 13: knew four or five men who were capable of being
- 1:39:47Speaker 13: involved in the alleged plot to kill Kennedy at his home. Today,
- 1:39:50Speaker 13: Lewis told us he feels these men are still alive
- 1:39:53Speaker 13: and view of Fairi's death. Lewis was asked about his
- 1:39:56Speaker 13: own safety.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: Well, it did shake me up.
- 1:40:00Speaker 12: I have to tell you to say that it is
- 1:40:01Speaker 12: more fear for myself, no, than for my family. Yes,
- 1:40:08Speaker 12: the possibility that I don't know if they ever wanted
- 1:40:09Speaker 12: to kick me and they might get hit me to
- 1:40:11Speaker 12: my family and this.
- 1:40:13Speaker 7: Thing is something that really irritates me. I think I've
- 1:40:16Speaker 7: been exposed quite a little too much. But they know
- 1:40:23Speaker 7: what I look like, they know who I am, they know.
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: Where I work.
- 1:40:28Speaker 7: So I don't know.
- 1:40:30Speaker 13: But to most other questions, Lewis replied, the district attorney
- 1:40:33Speaker 13: doesn't want me to say anymore. It may be two
- 1:40:35Speaker 13: more days before the cause of ferries death yesterday is
- 1:40:38Speaker 13: known for sure. Baran Rottman, NBC News, New Orleans, M.
- 1:40:46Speaker 4: Yeah, Now does that seem like a guy who's full
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: of crap? I mean, this is the guy David Lewis,
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: who used to hang around Jack Martin a lot. He
- 1:40:57Speaker 4: was Jack Martin's like little buddy side kids tight. They
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: started a private investigating firm after a banister went out
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: of business and passed away. Then they moved to Texas
- 1:41:09Speaker 4: together and started writing for a newspaper in Houston. And
- 1:41:14Speaker 4: they were moving back and forth between New Orleans and
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: Texas during this time of the Garrison investigation, on and off,
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: staying with each other. So I don't know what was
- 1:41:26Speaker 4: going on here. I mean, it just said the guy
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: had four kids. I mean, he looks like a nineteen
- 1:41:30Speaker 4: year old kid. This dude must have been cracking him out,
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: you know, like thirteen or fourteen years old now, David
- 1:41:39Speaker 4: Lewis's wife, Anna, who you all might know was the
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: one living witness Judith Varry Baker brought forth in the
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: late nineties to justify her story. The problem with that
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: is in Anna Lewis's interview, she screws up a lot
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: of details, including saying that she met she saw Judy
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: with Lee in nineteen sixty two, early nineteen sixty two
- 1:42:22Speaker 4: while he was still in Russia, which is a problem,
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: you know, So among other things, it's you got to
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: watch the interview. It's a trip. Deborah Conway, I think,
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: did the interview from Lancer with Anna Lewis, And of
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: course Judy's sitting right there, and Judy chimes in to
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: correct An a lot during this interview. So how trustworthy
- 1:42:53Speaker 4: is David Lewis running around with Jack Martin?
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: Mister?
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: It was just a fakement of my imagine and all
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: of Jack Martin's craziness and all the different versions of
- 1:43:04Speaker 4: stories that he told. So how accurate can we trust
- 1:43:08Speaker 4: David Lewis's stuff? I don't know, but it's interesting, okay.
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: You know he puts Caroga and Oswald together many many
- 1:43:22Speaker 4: times in and around Banister's office. So the reason I
- 1:43:31Speaker 4: have the House Select Committee on Assassinations on the cover
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: of this here very program from the beginning here at
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: the bottom, you know Louis Stokes and all them guys.
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: Is because I came across a document where the hsca
- 1:43:54Speaker 4: kind of collaborated and collated everybody that they interviewed in
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: New Orleans and came to a conclusion at the end
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: which I've never seen before. And this was put together
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: by Betsy Palmer on May thirtieth, nineteen seventy eight. Their
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: issue A Step six, This is draft one. From the
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: list of employees obtained in steps one through three and
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: the banister records obtained in steps four and five, select
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: no more than fifty persons for interviews based upon the
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: following criteria. A the amount of time spent in the building.
- 1:44:36Speaker 4: B availability see employment at site between May and December
- 1:44:41Speaker 4: of sixty three. D the closeness of association to Banister
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: Ferry or Arkasha Okay Part one. Persons selected to be interviewed.
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: Investigators determined that there were only fourteen people available for
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: an interview who met the above criteria. The person selected
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: below and their pertinence to the issues are listed below.
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: Okay one was Louise Decker, who was a secretary in
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: Banister's office from October sixty one to January sixty two.
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: She has identified a number of persons who frequented Banister's office,
- 1:45:19Speaker 4: including David Ferry, carlos Kiroga, Sergio or Kasia Smith, and
- 1:45:25Speaker 4: the results of her interview have not been written up.
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: According to Daily, carlos Kiroga the acquaintance of Sergio or
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: Kancha Smith, Guy Banister, and David Ferry, whom he stated
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: were in Mancuso's almost daily in the five forty four
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: km Street building. Iroga went to Oswald's home in August
- 1:45:45Speaker 4: of sixty three to gain information about the FPCC. He
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: was interviewed on February twenty second, nineteen seventy eight by
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: Daily Sergio or Kansia Smith, New Orleans delegate to the
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: Cuban Revolutionary Council with offices of forty four Camp Street.
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: Investigator Brown indicates that this interview has not been written up,
- 1:46:06Speaker 4: but apparently those people have been interviewed but not written
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: up yet. Layton Martin's who was an associate of serge
- 1:46:14Speaker 4: or Conscious Smith, friend of David Ferry. If you know
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: what I mean, interviewed by Bill Brown on January twenty fourth,
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: nineteen seventy eight. Frankin Bartes assumed leadership of the CRC
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: after Arkasha was relieved of his duties, conducted affairs of
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: the Council from his home. Interviewed by Brown on three fifteen,
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: seventy eight. Ronnie Kerr, associate of Our Conscious Smith. Ker
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: owned an advertising firm and worked with Our Concient to
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: raise money for human relief. Interviewed by Brown on April thirteenth,
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: six seventy eight. Can't find it indexed in the system,
- 1:46:54Speaker 4: though Jack Martin worked as an investigator for Guy Banister,
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: interviewed by Buis and Delsa on several occasions, and made
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: statements to the effect that he had seen Oswald with
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: Ferry at Camp Street. Also in this interview, Martin identified
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: Lighton Martin's and Carlos k Roga as persons in five
- 1:47:14Speaker 4: forty four Camp Street offices, and said FBI agent Regis
- 1:47:18Speaker 4: Kennedy was a frequent visitor to Banister's office. Martin further
- 1:47:22Speaker 4: states that Thomas Beckham was in Banister's office to see
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Martin and that he knew Sergio Castia Smith as well.
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: Sam Newman, owner of the building located at five forty
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: four Camp Street, interviewed by Daily February fourteenth, Happy Valentine's Day,
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: nineteen seventy eight, has no records. Mary Banister Wilson, wife
- 1:47:43Speaker 4: of Guy Banister, contacted by telephone on April sixth, seventy
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: eight by Burius Missus, Wilson stated that she had no
- 1:47:50Speaker 4: files of her former husband left in her possession. Jack Mancuso,
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: owner of the restaurant in five forty four Camp Street,
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: New Banister, Ferry and Martin as regular customers, does never
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: not recall that Oswald was ever with them in the restaurant.
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: Interview by Daily January twenty, sixth seventy eight. Anna Stewart,
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: acting treasurer for the Local one sixty six of the
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: Hotel and Restaurant Employees Bartenders Union, whose offices were located
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: in five forty four Camp Street in nineteen sixty three,
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: attacted by Daily on April eleventh and supplied him with
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: a membership record for nineteen sixty two through sixty four.
- 1:48:36Speaker 4: Of interest, I guess whose name is there. It's part
- 1:48:42Speaker 4: of the Hotel and Restaurant Employees and Bartenders Union. Kerry Thornley.
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: Doesn't it mean he was ever at five forty four
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: Camp Street, But that's you know whatever. Ross Banister, brother
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: of Guy Banister, interviewed day by Day on January twentieth,
- 1:49:01Speaker 4: nineteen seventy eight, in connection with the occupants of five
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: forty four Camp Street and location of his brother's files.
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: Russell Willey, also known as Major Wiley, the former Louisiana
- 1:49:13Speaker 4: State Police officer, referred to Investigator Burist by Ross Banister.
- 1:49:18Speaker 4: Buris has been unable to make an appointment to talk
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: to Willy about Banister records and Willy's knowledge of the
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: occupants of five forty four Camp Street. Will not answer
- 1:49:27Speaker 4: the phone, never calls back. Carlos Kiroga became acquainted with
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: Sergio or Kasha Blah Blah blah u. Karuga stated that
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: the usual daily routine was for Smith, David Lewis, Jack Martin,
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: David Ferry and himself to go to Mancuso's restaurant for coffee.
- 1:49:48Speaker 4: Smith usually went to Banish's office to talk on an
- 1:49:51Speaker 4: almost daily basis. The last time Kiroga saw Oswald was
- 1:49:54Speaker 4: when he visited Oswald House to obtain not bring and
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: PCC literature to him whatever, Dude, he does not place
- 1:50:05Speaker 4: Oswald in the five forty four km Street office building
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: and identifies Ruby only from having seen pictures of him. Right,
- 1:50:12Speaker 4: So it goes on and on about all these people
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: that they talked to, and this is their conclusion. This
- 1:50:21Speaker 4: is their analysis, analysis.
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: And conclusion.
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: Joe, Okay, no definitive conclusion can be reached until all
- 1:50:30Speaker 4: persons have been interviewed in reports written up. As of
- 1:50:34Speaker 4: right now, the most solid statement that we have would
- 1:50:39Speaker 4: seem to be that of Carlos Kuroco, who was a
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: daily inhabitant of Mancuso's and new Banister Ferry Akasha in Oswald.
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: Since he says that he never saw Lee Harvey Oswald
- 1:50:53Speaker 4: at five forty four cam Street, and his credibility far
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: surpasses that of Jack Martin, it seems reasonable to conclude
- 1:51:01Speaker 4: that Oswald was never at five forty four Camp Street
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: or Guy Banister's office. And that's the hsca's official position
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: on that.
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: Now, one name that did not mention here yet, Joe
- 1:51:22Speaker 4: is Mary Helen Brangle. You ever heard of her?
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: I have not, all right.
- 1:51:29Speaker 4: She was the secretary in Guy Banister's five forty four
- 1:51:33Speaker 4: Camp Street office from October to December of sixty three.
- 1:51:38Speaker 4: She was interviewed by Marty Daily in April seventy eight,
- 1:51:41Speaker 4: but the results of the interview have not been written up.
- 1:51:44Speaker 4: Missus Brinle taped the interview and gave the tape the Daily,
- 1:51:47Speaker 4: who reports that its quality is so poor that it
- 1:51:50Speaker 4: cannot be used and he forgets what he talked to
- 1:51:53Speaker 4: her about. Now why is that important? Well, I'll tell you.
- 1:52:03Speaker 7: So.
- 1:52:05Speaker 4: Fast forward Joe to the Assassination Records and Review Board.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:52:15Speaker 4: November six, nineteen ninety four, gentlemen, I am advised that
- 1:52:22Speaker 4: you will hold a public hearing in Dallas on November
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: eighteenth to ten am at the Earl Cavill Federal Building
- 1:52:27Speaker 4: on Commerce Street. I believe I have special knowledge of
- 1:52:31Speaker 4: some matters related to the assassination that have not been
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: made a part of the public record, and which are
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: outlined in the enclosed article, which I wrote a number
- 1:52:38Speaker 4: of years ago. After I moved from New Orleans to
- 1:52:41Speaker 4: Dallas in nineteen sixty eight. I was interviewed momentarily on
- 1:52:46Speaker 4: nationwide television last October, but very little of this information
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: was made public in my television interview. I am a
- 1:52:53Speaker 4: full time computer operator for Mega Student Insurance Division here
- 1:52:57Speaker 4: in Dallas, and we'll take time off from work only
- 1:53:00Speaker 4: if my presence is necessary and requested. My home telephone
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: number is blah blah blah. I can be reached to
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: work at blah blah blah. Asked the operator to page me,
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: as I do not have my own extension. I have
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: an answer machine on my home phone, and though it
- 1:53:15Speaker 4: will take a message, there is no voice on it
- 1:53:17Speaker 4: as it was affected recently by lightning. Please let me
- 1:53:22Speaker 4: know if my presence is needed or if I can
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: be a further assistance. Yours very truly. This is Mary
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: Helen Bringle. Okay, so of course they're interested.
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:53:39Speaker 4: So here is the article that Mary Helen Bringle wrote
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: in nineteen sixty eight, entitled Joe the Kennedy Assassination.
- 1:53:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: In the summer of that ill fated year of nineteen
- 1:53:53Speaker 4: and sixty three, the Independent American, a newspaper where I
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: had worked for four years, was moving from New Orleans
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: to Littleton, Colorado. I had served as assistant editor, but
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: planning to remain in New Orleans, so my boys Bob
- 1:54:09Speaker 4: and Ted to continue in the local schools. I registered
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: with just about every employment agency in the city seeking
- 1:54:17Speaker 4: a new job. That I've foreseen that I would become
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: involved with a shadowy group of people who would later
- 1:54:23Speaker 4: figure into the Kennedy assassination hearings, I would not have
- 1:54:26Speaker 4: remained in the Crescent City, but I had no such
- 1:54:30Speaker 4: premonition of this. God Banister, a retired FBI man operated
- 1:54:35Speaker 4: both a private detective agency and Joe get This, a
- 1:54:41Speaker 4: hiring agency for peer watchman for the Port of New Orleans,
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: didn't know that through mutual friends, he had heard of
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: my plight and suggested I use his office to receive
- 1:54:55Speaker 4: calls for job interviews and at the same time for
- 1:54:58Speaker 4: a small hourly wage some d on the side. The
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: last partner help his secretary, Delphine Roberts, index the office
- 1:55:10Speaker 4: filing system, and never could determine what his secretary was
- 1:55:15Speaker 4: doing to that system or why Banister allowed her to
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: accumulate and elaborately cross reference in such cabinets as were
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: not kept under lock and key reams of Gerald L. K.
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: Smith's literature The Thunderbolt and similar publications I viewed as
- 1:55:32Speaker 4: anti American propaganda and pure traps. Then one day Banister
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: dictated to me a letter to Carlos Marcelo John the
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: mafia boss, offering to help him in connection with the
- 1:55:50Speaker 4: government's efforts to deport him. I expressed surprise that any
- 1:55:54Speaker 4: conservative would actually be helping this participant in organized crime.
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: He replied that the principles being violated by the Marcellar
- 1:56:03Speaker 4: deportation would harm our system of government and the country
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: as a whole. Never again did he dictate correspondence to me,
- 1:56:11Speaker 4: nor did he ever open his banks of locked files
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: in my presence. My Banister was white haired and reserved,
- 1:56:21Speaker 4: somewhat resembling actor Charles Bickford, while Delphine, a divorce a,
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: was sharp featured and shrill voiced. Delphine confided that they
- 1:56:32Speaker 4: were engaged.
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: Well, I think we did cover like something about a
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: couple of persons.
- 1:56:43Speaker 4: They know they were engaged, though, that's crazy.
- 1:56:46Speaker 1: Well, I think we like talked about an allegation that
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: like Banisher was going to break up with his wife
- 1:56:51Speaker 1: for Delphine at some point.
- 1:56:54Speaker 4: Well, they had already split. They had already split. I
- 1:56:57Speaker 4: don't know if they were divorced yet, but they already split.
- 1:57:00Speaker 4: Banister was living in a little shitty apartment which I'll
- 1:57:05Speaker 4: show you here in a minute hold on all.
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: Right, So.
- 1:57:10Speaker 4: Delphine confided that they were engaged, although it became an
- 1:57:13Speaker 4: apparent the guy those separated was not divorced from his
- 1:57:16Speaker 4: wife yet. I am convinced that my presence had been
- 1:57:20Speaker 4: sought as a protection for Delphine Roberts in the event
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: that missus Banister ever visited the office and tried to
- 1:57:27Speaker 4: hurt her. You remember what Janet told us about Mary
- 1:57:34Speaker 4: Banster ordering a hit on a guy in prison, Right, yeah,
- 1:57:40Speaker 4: so maybe she was a tough cookie. Stacked against one
- 1:57:44Speaker 4: office wall, the guy wouldn't surprise me, right, Yeah? Where
- 1:57:50Speaker 4: a number of rifles, ten or twelve of them, with
- 1:57:53Speaker 4: all their fittings. Delphine said he's represented guy's hobby and
- 1:57:57Speaker 4: he had no room for the collection in his new
- 1:58:00Speaker 4: bachelor apartment. Periodically men would come to see him, and
- 1:58:04Speaker 4: they would speak in hush tones as they handled sighted
- 1:58:07Speaker 4: and lifted the guns, apparently discussing their relative merits. There
- 1:58:12Speaker 4: was a little business in the office aside from a
- 1:58:14Speaker 4: continual stream of men seeking employment on guard duty. I
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: couldn't understand how Banister could pay office men office rent
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: and salaries, but was told the government was considering his
- 1:58:25Speaker 4: appointment as head of security forces for a Mississippi test site.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: Test sight.
- 1:58:36Speaker 4: Yeah, apparently he was.
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: He had.
- 1:58:44Speaker 4: I don't know if he applied for it, being the
- 1:58:47Speaker 4: head of security for a Mississippi testing site for the government,
- 1:58:51Speaker 4: I don't know, he says. Banister drove a green Sedan,
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: and now and then a young man clad in coveralls
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: and looking like a mechanic would come by to report
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: that he had filled the tank with gas, put in
- 1:59:05Speaker 4: k needed oil and checked the tires off for guy Banister.
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: Later I was to learn that the car did not
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: belong to Banister, but to the mother of the quote mechanic,
- 1:59:20Speaker 4: who turned out to be Banister's attorney. From the date
- 1:59:24Speaker 4: of the Kennedy assassination, Banister never again drove the green
- 1:59:27Speaker 4: sedan he had used exclusively for several months, and never
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: again was a gun collection in his office after the assassination.
- 1:59:39Speaker 4: On the date of the assassination, Banister was out of
- 1:59:42Speaker 4: the office. Delphine said he had gone to the Mississippi
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: test site with another FBI man, and that he headed
- 1:59:51Speaker 4: the group of retired FBI men in the New Orleans
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: area that morning. The morning of the assassination. For the
- 2:00:02Speaker 4: only time during the months that I had been present.
- 2:00:05Speaker 4: The secretary brought a pocket radio to work. The telephone
- 2:00:10Speaker 4: rang mid morning, and Delphine advised that the president had
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: been shot and turned on her radio. The moment Kennedy's
- 2:00:17Speaker 4: death was announced, she jumped up from her desk. Oh,
- 2:00:23Speaker 4: he's dead.
- 2:00:24Speaker 1: He's dead.
- 2:00:25Speaker 4: He's dead, He's dead, She's saying, here wedding and dancing
- 2:00:29Speaker 4: around the office with her arms high in the air,
- 2:00:32Speaker 4: her skirt swirling about her like a tiny dancer.
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: I'm choking. I'm sure you're nothing like Delphine might not
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: be far off.
- 2:00:48Speaker 4: I myself a strong opponent, you better watch it, a
- 2:00:51Speaker 4: strong opponent of Kennedy's policies, was stunned at her actions.
- 2:00:57Speaker 4: He had been our president and in my mind, was
- 2:00:59Speaker 4: due the work expect to his office until and unless
- 2:01:04Speaker 4: that could be changed by constitutional means. What did Delphine's
- 2:01:08Speaker 4: actions reveal? Did she have some advanced knowledge of the
- 2:01:12Speaker 4: assassination plot? Where was Guy Banister on that day? Was
- 2:01:17Speaker 4: he at the Mississippi test site? Really? Or could the
- 2:01:21Speaker 4: green sedan have been behind a grassy knoll by a
- 2:01:24Speaker 4: railroad track near a triple underpass in some city in Texas? Later,
- 2:01:32Speaker 4: I would wonder about these things, he says. Delphine told
- 2:01:38Speaker 4: me to both Lee Harvey Oswald and David Ferry, as
- 2:01:41Speaker 4: well as others who figured in the government hearings, had
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: been in the office many times while I worked there.
- 2:01:47Speaker 4: News pictures of Lee Harvey Oswald showed him directly in
- 2:01:50Speaker 4: front of our office on Lafayette Street. A few weeks later,
- 2:01:54Speaker 4: I found a job that I wanted, not as a secretary,
- 2:01:57Speaker 4: but as an office manager and bookkeeper for a large
- 2:02:00Speaker 4: New Orleans architectural firm. There I worked until nineteen and
- 2:02:04Speaker 4: sixty eight, when my sons completed high school and were
- 2:02:07Speaker 4: drafted into the Armed forces.
- 2:02:09Speaker 1: Excuse me.
- 2:02:10Speaker 4: I then returned to Dallas, where my family lived. Banister,
- 2:02:14Speaker 4: who remained a mystery to me, had died in the
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: summer following the assassination, supposedly of a heart attack. On
- 2:02:23Speaker 4: Saturday in June, when Conservative groups had planned a rally
- 2:02:26Speaker 4: in Audubon Park, Daphne or Delphine and Banister were supposed
- 2:02:31Speaker 4: to join us. Unable to reach him, we telephoned Delphine,
- 2:02:36Speaker 4: who told us that he had died during the night
- 2:02:38Speaker 4: just passed when he failed to answer her call. She
- 2:02:41Speaker 4: had donned his apartment with an FBI man and found him. Why.
- 2:02:46Speaker 4: I had wondered had she thought it necessary to be
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: accompanied by an FBI man. When missus Banister was questioned
- 2:02:52Speaker 4: about funeral arrangements, she replied, there will be no funeral, Joe.
- 2:02:57Speaker 4: I'll put him in a box, shut the leg and
- 2:03:00Speaker 4: put him in the ground and that'll be it. Quote
- 2:03:04Speaker 4: Mary Banister, Wow, damn oky.
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: But all she has been.
- 2:03:12Speaker 4: Told that Delphine or guy for Delphine reckon. All of
- 2:03:18Speaker 4: this has been told first to a local FBI when banished,
- 2:03:21Speaker 4: his name and picture appeared in the New Orleans papers
- 2:03:24Speaker 4: in regard to his possible connection with the assassination, and
- 2:03:26Speaker 4: later to Martin Day an interview for the House Select
- 2:03:30Speaker 4: Committee on Assassinations, who questioned me at length. The BBC,
- 2:03:36Speaker 4: not not the Big Black you know what, Joe, but
- 2:03:38Speaker 4: the British Broadcasting Company interviewed me my telephone from Washington
- 2:03:43Speaker 4: and made an appointment to send the representative Anthony Summers
- 2:03:46Speaker 4: to New Orleans to interview me. Daien.
- 2:03:49Speaker 1: Somers told me that each.
- 2:03:50Speaker 4: Of their committees had searched diligently for Delphine Roberts, but
- 2:03:54Speaker 4: neither had been able to find her. At about that time, however,
- 2:03:57Speaker 4: the hearing is conducted by the House of Representatives were
- 2:03:59Speaker 4: cut short and the BBC instructed their team to return
- 2:04:03Speaker 4: to Great Britain. Great Britain. Summers called to cancel our
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: appointment in formed me that Delphine had been found. She
- 2:04:09Speaker 4: had remarried and was living in New Orleans under a
- 2:04:12Speaker 4: new assumed name. Delphine told reporters that Banister had been seen.
- 2:04:18Speaker 4: I had been at the Mississippi test site the day
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: of the assassination, and that the two of them first
- 2:04:23Speaker 4: heard of the tragedy as they listened to the radio
- 2:04:25Speaker 4: together that evening, and I recalled that vision of Delphine
- 2:04:31Speaker 4: whirling around the damn offense, her arms above her head
- 2:04:35Speaker 4: and her skirts eddying about her as she sang of
- 2:04:39Speaker 4: Kennedy's death.
- 2:04:41Speaker 1: He's dead, He's dead, Kennedy is dead.
- 2:04:47Speaker 4: I've never seen the twenty sixth volume report of the
- 2:04:49Speaker 4: Kennedy assassination hearings published by the House select I think
- 2:04:53Speaker 4: she's got that confused there with the Warrant Commission Report
- 2:04:56Speaker 4: twenty six volumes. But the testimony I'd given to Martin
- 2:04:58Speaker 4: Daly was published in the hearing Anthony Summers, the BBC reporter,
- 2:05:03Speaker 4: has since written the book entitled Conspiracy, in which he
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: refers to my testimony as he founded in the committee here.
- 2:05:08Speaker 4: In his report on the dust Jacket of the book,
- 2:05:11Speaker 4: Summer states, it is certainly possible that a renegade element
- 2:05:14Speaker 4: in the US intelligence manipulated Oswald, whatever his role, on
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: November twenty second, sixty three, and that same element may
- 2:05:21Speaker 4: be activated pawns in the anti Chastor movement and the
- 2:05:24Speaker 4: mafia to murder the president. Blah blah blah. So she says,
- 2:05:30Speaker 4: all right, why it is my personal belief that there
- 2:05:33Speaker 4: will never be a true solution, that for every truth uncovered,
- 2:05:37Speaker 4: there will be innumerable debunking teams, more unexplainable deaths, until
- 2:05:45Speaker 4: and unless our government in some day free of every
- 2:05:49Speaker 4: vestige of corruption. I do not believe that people whatever
- 2:05:52Speaker 4: know the truth. Again, I asked, where was Guy Banister
- 2:05:56Speaker 4: on November twenty second, nineteen sixty three? Was he in
- 2:05:59Speaker 4: a greens dan on a grassy knoll in the city
- 2:06:02Speaker 4: in Texas Delphine Roberts And there's the answer. But I
- 2:06:06Speaker 4: can't believe her? Can you.
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: Hoogie boogie?
- 2:06:14Speaker 4: Right?
- 2:06:15Speaker 1: Wow?
- 2:06:17Speaker 4: Now we know Guy Banister was in New Orleans on
- 2:06:20Speaker 4: the evening of November twenty second, nineteen sixty three. I
- 2:06:24Speaker 4: highly doubt he made the long drive from Dallas to
- 2:06:32Speaker 4: New Orleans. You know what I'm saying.
- 2:06:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't seem like he would be like operational.
- 2:06:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, she's operating off pure speculation there for sure.
- 2:06:46Speaker 4: But again, she was in the office from the right
- 2:06:49Speaker 4: time period from October to December of sixty three. And
- 2:06:53Speaker 4: to see Delphine hear the assassination on a pocket radio
- 2:06:57Speaker 4: and be dancing around the office like that, because it
- 2:07:00Speaker 4: would have been at twelve thirty in Dallas, it would
- 2:07:03Speaker 4: have been eleven thirty in Louisiana, Right, Yeah, And where
- 2:07:12Speaker 4: was Guy Banister supposedly at this test site. He didn't
- 2:07:15Speaker 4: go drinking with Jack Martin until later that evening the
- 2:07:19Speaker 4: Captain Jammer, Right, and I got one final thing for you, Joe,
- 2:07:25Speaker 4: all right, give it, That's what she said. All right,
- 2:07:33Speaker 4: This right here, Joe, is the house, the apartment that
- 2:07:42Speaker 4: Guy Banister passed away in. In his apartment I believe
- 2:07:47Speaker 4: was D, which is the bottom one. Apparently there are
- 2:07:53Speaker 4: six apartments in this building. Apartment A, D, and B
- 2:08:01Speaker 4: are on the front and B is the one I
- 2:08:04Speaker 4: believe it on the bottom left there where you see
- 2:08:09Speaker 4: the door.
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:08:11Speaker 4: Now I happen to have an interior shot of this,
- 2:08:13Speaker 4: which is which would be as soon as you open
- 2:08:17Speaker 4: the front door. Okay, you see the window to the left.
- 2:08:21Speaker 4: That is the kitchen you know, about halfway back there,
- 2:08:25Speaker 4: and then a long hallway which there are a lot
- 2:08:27Speaker 4: of rooms off of Okay. Now, remember when we talked
- 2:08:33Speaker 4: about Delphine Roberts looking in the window and seeing Guy
- 2:08:36Speaker 4: Banister laying on the couch. It's quite possible that this
- 2:08:40Speaker 4: window on the left here is the one that she
- 2:08:42Speaker 4: looked in and saw him as he lay there on
- 2:08:45Speaker 4: the couch dead right. Yeah, which is very interesting. Yeah,
- 2:08:52Speaker 4: now I have here, Joe. This is when Guy was
- 2:08:58Speaker 4: living at ten thirty one Mall Street, Apartment B. Okay.
- 2:09:03Speaker 4: So this is the right apartment. This is the right house, okay.
- 2:09:10Speaker 4: And this is.
- 2:09:14Speaker 1: What is this? I don't know what this is, to
- 2:09:17Speaker 1: be honest with you.
- 2:09:19Speaker 4: It's a report made on June sixth, nineteen sixty four,
- 2:09:27Speaker 4: at seven thirty five pm. Okay, Yeah, and it's about
- 2:09:36Speaker 4: Guy Banister's death. So I think it's a report from
- 2:09:39Speaker 4: the responding officers once they call it the.
- 2:09:42Speaker 14: Cops, right, right, because I think we went over, like
- 2:09:48Speaker 14: she went to the apartment or and she had called
- 2:09:51Speaker 14: and then she brought the FBI agent with her.
- 2:09:55Speaker 1: She was very scared about going in alone for whatever reason.
- 2:10:01Speaker 4: Well, she thought that Banster didn't die a natural death.
- 2:10:05Speaker 4: She thought he'd been killed, and she didn't think it
- 2:10:09Speaker 4: was because of his connections to the Kennedy assassination. She
- 2:10:14Speaker 4: thought it was retaliation, you know, from people in the police.
- 2:10:19Speaker 1: Department, right, because of his investigation into the corruption.
- 2:10:27Speaker 4: Right. So this is, like I said, it's a one
- 2:10:31Speaker 4: page report. It's it's pretty gruesome, So hang with me, undersigned.
- 2:10:38Speaker 1: Sergeant G.
- 2:10:40Speaker 4: Drumm and Detective D. Kent reported seven thirty five Saturday,
- 2:10:46Speaker 4: June sixth, nineteen sixty four, of receiving notification via Channel
- 2:10:49Speaker 4: B from CAR sixteen that they were investigating the death
- 2:10:53Speaker 4: of one W. Guy Banster, ten thirty one Moss Street,
- 2:10:57Speaker 4: Apartment B, and we're asking for our assistance. We arrived
- 2:11:04Speaker 4: at seven forty eight pm and proceeded to the downstairs
- 2:11:07Speaker 4: apartment number B, where we met Sergeant A. Polito in
- 2:11:11Speaker 4: company with Officers F. Hayward Wilson recruit Busby and ID
- 2:11:17Speaker 4: Division tech Steve. On the scene was Corners Chauffeur C. Graves,
- 2:11:25Speaker 4: who remained outside until we were done. Learned from the
- 2:11:30Speaker 4: above officers that they received the above call at six
- 2:11:34Speaker 4: pm and upon their arrival noted the deceased to be
- 2:11:37Speaker 4: one w Guy Banister Undersigned. Observed a combination lining combination
- 2:11:47Speaker 4: living slashed bedroom with a kitchen area close by, which
- 2:11:53Speaker 4: we can see in the picture right. Noted on the
- 2:12:00Speaker 4: sofa bed a white male subject lying diagonally across the bed,
- 2:12:10Speaker 4: faced down and slightly on his left side in a
- 2:12:14Speaker 4: natural sleeping position. We noticed advanced stages of post mortem
- 2:12:19Speaker 4: liver mortise about the lower portions of the person on
- 2:12:22Speaker 4: the bed, and he was apparently dead. Deceased was clad
- 2:12:26Speaker 4: only in a pair of light blue boxer undershorts. Observed
- 2:12:31Speaker 4: a pair of white undershorts on the floor alongside of
- 2:12:36Speaker 4: the double sofa bed which contained dried smears of apparent feces.
- 2:12:44Speaker 4: Why noted an orange towel on the bed along the
- 2:12:54Speaker 4: side of the stomach of the deceased, and it was
- 2:12:57Speaker 4: noted that deceased had his right hand beneath The town
- 2:13:05Speaker 4: officers noted that the main room was in an untidy state. However,
- 2:13:11Speaker 4: there was nothing that indicated that anything unusual or violent
- 2:13:14Speaker 4: had occurred in it. A pair of eye glasses, an ashtray,
- 2:13:19Speaker 4: and several other articles were on the night table beside
- 2:13:22Speaker 4: the bed. Learned from one Delphine Roberts, the secretary's treasurer
- 2:13:27Speaker 4: of Banister Associates, at about six twenty she went to
- 2:13:30Speaker 4: the residence. She was unable to get an acknowledgement from
- 2:13:35Speaker 4: her phone calls and as she last saw mister Banister
- 2:13:38Speaker 4: at about seven pm the night before at her home
- 2:13:44Speaker 4: on Warpole Street, and she had he had complained to
- 2:13:49Speaker 4: her that he was not feeling well at the time.
- 2:13:54Speaker 4: Stated that she telephoned his apartment several times and received
- 2:13:57Speaker 4: no response there either. Stated that she had proceeded to
- 2:14:01Speaker 4: fifty two h two something Street, where she informed mister
- 2:14:06Speaker 4: and missus I E. Niske, a former FBI associated mister Banister,
- 2:14:12Speaker 4: and they all proceeded back to them to Mass Street.
- 2:14:15Speaker 1: Yeah that's who she brought with. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:14:21Speaker 1: nisk It was like worked with Banister in the past. Yeh.
- 2:14:25Speaker 4: Nisky forced open the front screen door and gained entrance
- 2:14:29Speaker 4: to the apartment and discovered Banister to be apparently dead
- 2:14:33Speaker 4: and in the same position as on the arrival of
- 2:14:36Speaker 4: the undersign. The undersigned examined another door to the apartment
- 2:14:40Speaker 4: and found it also to be locked from the inside.
- 2:14:43Speaker 4: Identification Division tech steve one scene and photographed corner's office.
- 2:14:50Speaker 4: Investigator Sam Moran was on scene and conducted his own investigation.
- 2:14:55Speaker 4: Orlean's Paris corner doctor Nicholas Chetta arrived on the scene
- 2:15:01Speaker 4: and after examining the remains, pronounced the body dead. At
- 2:15:04Speaker 4: eight pm, the corner chauffeur Oral Graves conveyed the body
- 2:15:09Speaker 4: to the City Morgue in the mortuary mortuary wagon recovered
- 2:15:16Speaker 4: and retained by Sam Moran from the pants pocket of
- 2:15:20Speaker 4: the deceased. Here's where it gets interesting. Joe, I got
- 2:15:26Speaker 4: a little frogy in my throat. Now we've all heard,
- 2:15:34Speaker 4: right of Banster's money problems, how he was behind on
- 2:15:40Speaker 4: his rent. He didn't have no money to pay people back.
- 2:15:44Speaker 4: He couldn't pay his rent right, apparently.
- 2:15:46Speaker 1: He didn't have a car. Check this out.
- 2:15:54Speaker 4: Recovered and retained by Sam Ran from the pants pocket
- 2:15:58Speaker 4: of the deceased were twenty eight ten dollar bills now
- 2:16:06Speaker 4: what's that.
- 2:16:08Speaker 1: Two hundred and eighty dollars about like three grand?
- 2:16:12Speaker 15: Yeah, it's a lot of money for somebody who doesn't
- 2:16:15Speaker 15: have any money, right allegedly, Yeah, yeah, yeah, uh five
- 2:16:23Speaker 15: one dollar bills along with six nickels and one penny.
- 2:16:32Speaker 15: The above pair of trousers were laying on a small
- 2:16:35Speaker 15: table across from the bed. A matching suit coat and
- 2:16:38Speaker 15: white dress shirt were hung on the back of a
- 2:16:41Speaker 15: chair at the foot of the bed. Marine also recovered
- 2:16:45Speaker 15: apparently there's another page to this that I don't have.
- 2:16:49Speaker 15: But yeah, so that's what was in his pocket, What
- 2:16:59Speaker 15: was in his wallet, What did he maybe have in
- 2:17:02Speaker 15: the nightstand?
- 2:17:04Speaker 4: What did he have in the bank. If he's walking
- 2:17:07Speaker 4: around with three thousand dollars in his pocket, Joe, he's bawling.
- 2:17:14Speaker 1: Yeah, if I'm walking around.
- 2:17:17Speaker 4: With three grand in my pocket, I'm doing something I
- 2:17:20Speaker 4: shouldn't be doing. You know what I'm saying.
- 2:17:22Speaker 1: I don't walk around want three grand in my pocket. Ever.
- 2:17:25Speaker 4: No, if you do, you are doing some dirty shit
- 2:17:30Speaker 4: right for sure. So it's an awful lot of money
- 2:17:35Speaker 4: for somebody to have that supposedly didn't have it. That's
- 2:17:38Speaker 4: what I'm trying to get at. Yeah, so because I
- 2:17:44Speaker 4: think rent at five point forty four km street back
- 2:17:47Speaker 4: then was like twenty bucks a month or something ridiculous.
- 2:17:52Speaker 4: He could have paid for a year of rent with
- 2:17:55Speaker 4: that money. So something and not ending up here, don't.
- 2:18:02Speaker 4: I don't understand what it is exactly, but.
- 2:18:06Speaker 1: It is not. I don't understand. It's crazy crazy, Yeah,
- 2:18:17Speaker 1: And I think Delphine uh said that.
- 2:18:22Speaker 4: When we went over.
- 2:18:26Speaker 1: What she described when finding a guy Banister, he was
- 2:18:30Speaker 1: like on a stomach and kind of shorts, and what
- 2:18:34Speaker 1: you just read kind of kind of corroborated that, right,
- 2:18:37Speaker 1: like on his stomach.
- 2:18:39Speaker 4: Why are you going to include the man had some
- 2:18:41Speaker 4: dirty drawers on the floor and guy Banister should have
- 2:18:45Speaker 4: known better than to wear white drawers.
- 2:18:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Well, I might have been
- 2:18:49Speaker 1: the thing back then. You know, well he had on.
- 2:18:53Speaker 4: Light blue ones when he was, you know, lying there
- 2:18:56Speaker 4: on the on the counch. I've had big text here.
- 2:19:00Speaker 4: Don't wear white drawers?
- 2:19:04Speaker 1: Probably not?
- 2:19:06Speaker 4: And thanks to Mike Alm sixty six for this lovely
- 2:19:09Speaker 4: picture of big texts. Yeah, it was apparently at the
- 2:19:13Speaker 4: uh the Texas State Fair. He is apparently a very
- 2:19:20Speaker 4: big dude. I asked Mike I wonder if he's got
- 2:19:23Speaker 4: a big hal underneath that belt buckle as well, to
- 2:19:27Speaker 4: which Mike stated, well, if you have big hands and
- 2:19:31Speaker 4: big feet, probably too.
- 2:19:34Speaker 1: But uh yeah, yeah.
- 2:19:36Speaker 4: Anyway, thanks Mike for the big text and his big
- 2:19:39Speaker 4: belt buckle in the big d and uh that's about
- 2:19:45Speaker 4: it for tonight, Joe. It's about time to call in
- 2:19:47Speaker 4: uh uh Dean Andrews and uh dance us out of
- 2:19:53Speaker 4: this piece, all right, Dinah, hold on, hold on hold
- 2:20:00Speaker 4: the phone. We forgot one very important part of the show, Joe.
- 2:20:06Speaker 1: What does that, sir?
- 2:20:07Speaker 4: And that is we wanted I wanted to discuss disappointments
- 2:20:11Speaker 4: with you a little bit, Joe. I went to go
- 2:20:15Speaker 4: see The Joker Too last week, last week when it
- 2:20:18Speaker 4: opened tonight, before it opened actually last Thursday. And I
- 2:20:24Speaker 4: don't know what the bigger disappointment was, The Joker Too
- 2:20:28Speaker 4: or Jefferson Morley's bombshell JFK assassination announcement press conference behind
- 2:20:36Speaker 4: pay wall. Now let's talk about this supposed Now, look,
- 2:20:43Speaker 4: the Joker Too really sucked, I mean really like I
- 2:20:47Speaker 4: was this close to getting up and walking out. You know,
- 2:20:51Speaker 4: if you enjoy musicals that are two hours and tournamentutes long.
- 2:20:56Speaker 4: Maybe it's maybe it's the movie for you. I don't know,
- 2:21:00Speaker 4: but to me, it sucked and the ending sucked, and
- 2:21:07Speaker 4: I left much the same reaction as I had when
- 2:21:12Speaker 4: I found out what Jefferson Morley's giant bombshell announcement was.
- 2:21:18Speaker 4: And Joe, for the people out there that aren't privy
- 2:21:22Speaker 4: to the Jefferson Morley bombshell announcement or the news behind
- 2:21:27Speaker 4: his paywall over at substack, please let everyone know what
- 2:21:31Speaker 4: the bombshell announcement was.
- 2:21:35Speaker 1: And why it sucked. Sure, so you know, I follow
- 2:21:44Speaker 1: Jefferson Morley on Twitter. He's obviously one of the most
- 2:21:50Speaker 1: meanstream JFK researchers there are. He was, you know, a
- 2:21:58Speaker 1: former Washington Post writer. He came up. He's a name, Yeah,
- 2:22:07Speaker 1: a big swinging thing and uh yes, and and done
- 2:22:14Speaker 1: a lot of great work, you know if you think
- 2:22:16Speaker 1: about Jane Roman, Joe and Needy. Yeah no, I mean, like,
- 2:22:24Speaker 1: no hate here whatsoever.
- 2:22:26Speaker 4: But uh, well, you speak yourself. He had still been
- 2:22:31Speaker 4: about the fourteen minute yap, but pray continue.
- 2:22:35Speaker 1: I know, uh And he had been hyping this quote
- 2:22:39Speaker 1: bombshell for a few days before it was released, and
- 2:22:46Speaker 1: sent saying it's going to be bigger than anything he
- 2:22:49Speaker 1: had ever released.
- 2:22:51Speaker 4: And you call this ship. You're going to have a
- 2:22:54Speaker 4: press conference, Joe, Yes, a press conference to announce this
- 2:23:00Speaker 4: giant bombshell in the case.
- 2:23:03Speaker 1: But only journalists working ones Rob were invited. So I
- 2:23:11Speaker 1: mean we might call ourselves JFK journalists because we go
- 2:23:17Speaker 1: live every week and I do have a personally in
- 2:23:20Speaker 1: here somewhere, Uh, Doug, mate, But h and and I
- 2:23:30Speaker 1: share your sentiment, Rob, and we were texting about this
- 2:23:34Speaker 1: on our group chat with you, me and and Doug
- 2:23:39Speaker 1: and and we were kind of excited, like it was
- 2:23:43Speaker 1: built as like a groundbreaker, and it ended up being
- 2:23:47Speaker 1: hearsay of c a whistleblower who saw, I guess a
- 2:23:57Speaker 1: box of something that's in Mexico City tapes pictures and
- 2:24:05Speaker 1: essentially it came from an unknown source and it it
- 2:24:12Speaker 1: was very disappointing. I have to say, I thought, you know.
- 2:24:19Speaker 4: Somebody somewhere told me a story that they saw something somewhere,
- 2:24:22Speaker 4: but they didn't actually look in it and see if
- 2:24:25Speaker 4: that something was there. There is the bombshell announcement. Tune
- 2:24:30Speaker 4: in next week when we talked to a fascinating descendant
- 2:24:37Speaker 4: of somebody very important to the case, and they're going
- 2:24:40Speaker 4: to drop a bombshell that they found in their house,
- 2:24:43Speaker 4: but they are not willing to share it this time. No.
- 2:24:46Speaker 4: I mean, it's just a whole lot of not a thing.
- 2:24:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and I agree, And you know, I'm gonna have
- 2:24:57Speaker 1: a little contrarian thing here because obviously I was disappointed.
- 2:25:03Speaker 1: But in retrospect, I don't think it was for researchers,
- 2:25:11Speaker 1: because researchers need documents. There were none, and there's now
- 2:25:21Speaker 1: like a p R blitz going on. And and the
- 2:25:24Speaker 1: premise was the CIA had a document kind of like
- 2:25:31Speaker 1: a best uses to just you know, throw off the
- 2:25:37Speaker 1: h c A.
- 2:25:38Speaker 4: And and.
- 2:25:42Speaker 1: To us, that's nothing new, right. We know Joe and
- 2:25:45Speaker 1: Needs was a plant to throw off the HCA, and
- 2:25:50Speaker 1: we know about their efforts with the War Commission, we
- 2:25:54Speaker 1: know with the Garrison investigation, and there the.
- 2:25:57Speaker 4: Big thing was about this. I saw a file in
- 2:26:01Speaker 4: an off site storage facility entitled Oswald in Mexico City. Yeah,
- 2:26:07Speaker 4: and I supposedly had video tape a leged Yeah.
- 2:26:13Speaker 1: And again.
- 2:26:15Speaker 4: This is nothing new, folks, because apparently jag Or Hoover
- 2:26:20Speaker 4: saw something on video that he said definitely wasn't Oswald
- 2:26:26Speaker 4: in the video or his voice? So could this be
- 2:26:30Speaker 4: it where they just deep six this crap and was like,
- 2:26:33Speaker 4: and we've all saw pictures, you know, from the HSCA
- 2:26:36Speaker 4: when they dug up supposed pictures of Oswald and it
- 2:26:39Speaker 4: was a husky looking Russian guy coming in and out
- 2:26:42Speaker 4: of the Cuban embassy and Russian embassy. So it's just
- 2:26:45Speaker 4: just a lot of nothing.
- 2:26:47Speaker 1: Yeah, unfortunately, yes, because for people like us, and you
- 2:26:55Speaker 1: know this, well, if you're going to approach a serious
- 2:26:59Speaker 1: resurre with the theory, you have to have the goods, right,
- 2:27:04Speaker 1: you have to have a document, right you.
- 2:27:08Speaker 4: Yeah, possibly in order to Joe, I get what you're saying.
- 2:27:12Speaker 4: But here's the deal. He looks like a giant scafuza
- 2:27:18Speaker 4: to the world, a very easy target for mainstream media
- 2:27:22Speaker 4: to point out and go, look at this nut job
- 2:27:26Speaker 4: douche bag and his giant announcement that is just you know,
- 2:27:30Speaker 4: bigger than an elephant. Shit, it's a whole lot of nothing,
- 2:27:36Speaker 4: and that he makes us look crazy by doing something
- 2:27:42Speaker 4: like that, saying you've got a whistle blower, a CIA
- 2:27:44Speaker 4: whistle blower, but you don't name names, you don't have
- 2:27:50Speaker 4: any evidence whatsoever. Back up. And the funny thing is, Joe,
- 2:27:55Speaker 4: they posted a picture of this facility right, and it's
- 2:27:58Speaker 4: in Sterling, right across from the Dullas Airport.
- 2:28:02Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, a skiff which is a secure compartment.
- 2:28:06Speaker 4: Yeah, why I recognize that, Joe. You know why? I
- 2:28:10Speaker 4: used to go there every Tuesday. I used to deliver
- 2:28:17Speaker 4: oil Joe, right, and it was part of my regular
- 2:28:24Speaker 4: Tuesday round. I would go up Route seven, I would
- 2:28:27Speaker 4: I would go, you know, all the way from Leesburg
- 2:28:32Speaker 4: to McClain by the CIA building, but I had to
- 2:28:37Speaker 4: stop in Sterling, right, and it just happened to be
- 2:28:40Speaker 4: called Joe's Auto, right, And yeah, we sold them balk
- 2:28:47Speaker 4: Mooderal and I was delivering it and I would go
- 2:28:49Speaker 4: there every Tuesday and fill this guy's tanks. Right. This
- 2:28:55Speaker 4: guy's shop was right across the street from this secure
- 2:29:00Speaker 4: skiff building. And I always looked at that building and
- 2:29:03Speaker 4: I was like, I wonder what the fuck is in there?
- 2:29:06Speaker 4: Because it was lockdown, guarded, barbed wire on the top.
- 2:29:11Speaker 4: You know, it was a secure facility for sure, but
- 2:29:14Speaker 4: right out in the middle of everything. It's right off
- 2:29:17Speaker 4: Route six O six, right across from the airport.
- 2:29:24Speaker 1: Right. I mean I used to like I would.
- 2:29:26Speaker 4: I would I would hope in my truck and I
- 2:29:28Speaker 4: would leave Joe's and I would go up and i
- 2:29:29Speaker 4: would park in the parking lot and I'd be facing
- 2:29:33Speaker 4: this place right. Sometimes I would sit there and eat
- 2:29:36Speaker 4: my lunch. Sometimes you know, you had to whip it
- 2:29:39Speaker 4: out and pee in a bottle. You know what I'm saying,
- 2:29:42Speaker 4: because you know that's truck or life, you know what
- 2:29:44Speaker 4: I'm saying. But anyway, so many times Rob has had
- 2:29:50Speaker 4: his junk out pointed at this building. Okay, it probably
- 2:29:54Speaker 4: has twenty thousand cameras on it, and there's probably dudes
- 2:29:57Speaker 4: in there. We're going to look at this guy, you know.
- 2:30:01Speaker 4: But I'm like, I recognize that building and I know
- 2:30:05Speaker 4: exactly where it is, and I'm like, okay, but uh,
- 2:30:11Speaker 4: you know, it's just to me respectable, We'll not really respectable.
- 2:30:19Speaker 4: Mainstream sources can point to Jefferson Morning give see this
- 2:30:22Speaker 4: is how ridiculous these Kennedy conspiracy theorists are. It's a
- 2:30:26Speaker 4: whole it's a whole lot about nothing, and it just
- 2:30:33Speaker 4: makes us look like a bunch of idiots.
- 2:30:36Speaker 1: That's my opinion.
- 2:30:38Speaker 4: And I was highly disappointed as a researcher with his announcement,
- 2:30:43Speaker 4: even though it wasn't for me.
- 2:30:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and and and I one hundred agree with you.
- 2:30:51Speaker 1: And after thinking about it for a few days, I've
- 2:30:55Speaker 1: come to the conclusion that it wasn't for.
- 2:31:01Speaker 11: Researchers because if you too, maybe you have a document, right, like,
- 2:31:10Speaker 11: you gotta have something.
- 2:31:12Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't just say some guy you call him
- 2:31:16Speaker 4: a whistle blower, He ain't blowing a whistle.
- 2:31:18Speaker 1: He's too scared to come out and say who he is. Yeah,
- 2:31:22Speaker 1: and he didn't even look in the box either.
- 2:31:25Speaker 4: Right with the Mexico City, you don't even know what's
- 2:31:27Speaker 4: in there. Could be an empty box and nothing. Yeah,
- 2:31:30Speaker 4: it could be in the box for all we know.
- 2:31:33Speaker 1: I mean, who knows. Yeah, very disappointing, But you know
- 2:31:38Speaker 1: there's there's a media blit's going on now. And again
- 2:31:41Speaker 1: I'm playing devil's advocate here. Believe me, I don't think
- 2:31:46Speaker 1: it was meant for us. I think it was meant
- 2:31:49Speaker 1: for the mainstream media.
- 2:31:51Speaker 4: And if who was meant for it was a freaking
- 2:31:54Speaker 4: dud all the way around.
- 2:31:56Speaker 1: Listen, I have one hundred percent agree with you. I'm
- 2:31:59Speaker 1: just present like why he would bill it as bigger
- 2:32:06Speaker 1: than anything he's ever come up with. When he's done
- 2:32:09Speaker 1: great work and then come up with this, it's it's it's.
- 2:32:14Speaker 4: It was a total overreach on his part in my opinion.
- 2:32:17Speaker 4: Oh and I miss a swing and a miss and
- 2:32:23Speaker 4: he pitched to himself and he missed it.
- 2:32:25Speaker 1: Yeah that's how Yeah, No, for sure. And all I'm
- 2:32:30Speaker 1: saying is that I don't think at the end of
- 2:32:34Speaker 1: the day, after thinking about this a lot and looking
- 2:32:37Speaker 1: forward to it, you know, you and me and Doug
- 2:32:39Speaker 1: message each other before it came out, and when it
- 2:32:42Speaker 1: came out, I think it was meant for the mainstream
- 2:32:46Speaker 1: media to be like the HCA CIA is hiding documents
- 2:32:50Speaker 1: from the HC And it's like, okay, like anyone who's
- 2:32:56Speaker 1: studied the case for ten.
- 2:32:57Speaker 4: Minutes and there was no meat on that bone was
- 2:33:00Speaker 4: of her.
- 2:33:01Speaker 1: So listen it if it gets some congressman or center involved.
- 2:33:10Speaker 1: You know, we've talked about how much the JFK documents
- 2:33:14Speaker 1: have have gotten publicity.
- 2:33:17Speaker 4: Recently, right, and Will said Douglas. Yeah, no, aged person
- 2:33:24Speaker 4: allegedly saw a thing in an alleged place, doesn't know
- 2:33:27Speaker 4: what thing allegedly contained. Some recomplete.
- 2:33:31Speaker 1: Yeah, agreed, and listen, I'm not really like defending it.
- 2:33:35Speaker 1: Like I already told you my stance on point. If
- 2:33:40Speaker 1: it it will, and that's exactly the word I used
- 2:33:43Speaker 1: in our group chat, Rob.
- 2:33:47Speaker 4: Yeah, tune in next week because we're gonna have a
- 2:33:49Speaker 4: giant bomb show. But every week at the Bombshell on here,
- 2:33:53Speaker 4: you're going to learn something new, all right, and it's
- 2:33:56Speaker 4: going to be supported by actual evidence and documents and
- 2:33:58Speaker 4: testimony right lincoming podcast not but that place.
- 2:34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, But last thing I'm gonna say, if it somehow
- 2:34:08Speaker 1: increases awareness on the current discussion on the JFK files
- 2:34:14Speaker 1: and this and that and somehow leads to something, I'm
- 2:34:18Speaker 1: okay with it, and I've got more than that was
- 2:34:23Speaker 1: Doug's point, actually, I think in our trap but I
- 2:34:27Speaker 1: was disappointed as well. For sure. I think anyone who's
- 2:34:31Speaker 1: the document researcher knows that. So but all right, folks, yeah,
- 2:34:37Speaker 1: who knows what will come of it?
- 2:34:39Speaker 4: Well, we're gonna get out of here, but before we
- 2:34:41Speaker 4: bring in Dean Andrews, like a one other big surprise
- 2:34:43Speaker 4: for you here this evening, you're gonna get a tour
- 2:34:46Speaker 4: in New Orleans from Jim Garrison before Dean comes into
- 2:34:50Speaker 4: the picture. So enjoy getting toured around New Orleans by
- 2:34:56Speaker 4: Jim Garrison. In so and then Dina will be in
- 2:34:59Speaker 4: the picture. We will trumpet and trombone our way up
- 2:35:02Speaker 4: out of this piece until next week. So jolly Green
- 2:35:07Speaker 4: Giant taken away, sir. Oh. By the way, I will say,
- 2:35:15Speaker 4: it's a little choppy the first ten minutes, but it
- 2:35:17Speaker 4: clears up, so don't freak out, Okay, back to it.
- 2:35:23Speaker 16: Oswald was born in New Orleans. After serving in the
- 2:35:26Speaker 16: US Marines and living in Russia, he returned in the
- 2:35:29Speaker 16: summer of nineteen sixty three to this area.
- 2:35:32Speaker 5: We're approaching the old post office building where which is
- 2:35:38Speaker 5: right across the street from the Newman building.
- 2:35:41Speaker 4: That's five forty four Camp Street.
- 2:35:43Speaker 5: What was there, Well, this is the address which Lee
- 2:35:47Speaker 5: Oswald gave for his first fair Play for Cuba pamphlets. Now,
- 2:35:51Speaker 5: this building, five forty four Camp Street is the building
- 2:35:55Speaker 5: which god Banister had his office on the side the
- 2:35:58Speaker 5: guy Banister. Of course, he was the most militant, the
- 2:36:01Speaker 5: most militant uh uh, right wing uh uh, extremely conservative,
- 2:36:07Speaker 5: anti con communist individual in the city of New Orleans.
- 2:36:10Speaker 4: But there was simply no question.
- 2:36:11Speaker 5: About the fact that the Riley comp Coffee Company was
- 2:36:14Speaker 5: a nesting place for Lee Oswald. He was put here.
- 2:36:19Speaker 5: This was his CIA assignment. In other words, as I
- 2:36:22Speaker 5: pointed out before, his immediate superiors in Dallas and his
- 2:36:26Speaker 5: immediate superiors in the CIA in New Orleans are involved
- 2:36:29Speaker 5: in the assassination. Not might be they are involved. And
- 2:36:34Speaker 5: consequently the impression was created uh on his part that
- 2:36:38Speaker 5: he was following orders and he just had to stay
- 2:36:40Speaker 5: at the Riley Coffee Company until the time came when
- 2:36:43Speaker 5: he was to penetrate uh the right wing operation here
- 2:36:48Speaker 5: and in and in the course of doing that, to
- 2:36:50Speaker 5: go through these motions of being a a uh left
- 2:36:53Speaker 5: wing uh individual communist. Well, this is one of the
- 2:36:57Speaker 5: bases in New Orleans for United States intelligence operas, and
- 2:37:01Speaker 5: uh they haven't.
- 2:37:02Speaker 4: They had a number of uh.
- 2:37:05Speaker 5: Intelligence agencies here. We've confirmed at least one was here.
- 2:37:08Speaker 5: So Oswald was had been placed across the street, uh
- 2:37:13Speaker 5: where it was obviously in some sort of contact with him.
- 2:37:16Speaker 5: And then if you go around, you go around to
- 2:37:18Speaker 5: the right at Roddick Coffee Company. Here's the old post
- 2:37:21Speaker 5: office building where US intelligence agencies operated from it. And
- 2:37:24Speaker 5: if you go over here you can see two men
- 2:37:28Speaker 5: two men opening a truck. Now, if you go line
- 2:37:30Speaker 5: over the truck, there's a white building, and that white
- 2:37:33Speaker 5: building is the Newman Building, which is at five forty
- 2:37:36Speaker 5: four Camp Street. And uh, as I said earlier, that's
- 2:37:39Speaker 5: where Guy Banister's office was. And uh, David Ferry hung
- 2:37:44Speaker 5: around in Guy Bannister's office. And uh, of course Lee
- 2:37:47Speaker 5: Oswold has been seen in Guy Banister's office.
- 2:37:52Speaker 16: The Garison case began last February with David Ferry, a
- 2:37:55Speaker 16: strange man, commercial pilot, private detective, anti Castro fighter and
- 2:38:00Speaker 16: bishop of an offbeat cult. Fairy said Garrison had fingered
- 2:38:03Speaker 16: him as the getaway pilot in the plot. Four days later,
- 2:38:06Speaker 16: he died mysteriously in this house.
- 2:38:09Speaker 4: Here.
- 2:38:09Speaker 16: According to Garrison, Oswald met Fairry and members of the
- 2:38:11Speaker 16: Minute Men, a secret and violent group who trained with
- 2:38:14Speaker 16: bombs and machine guns to kill communists. After Fairy's death,
- 2:38:18Speaker 16: two Minute Men arrived and took away papers King Perrish prison.
- 2:38:23Speaker 16: He dare not talk for the record, but he said,
- 2:38:25Speaker 16: come to Bourbon Street and I'll show you what I
- 2:38:27Speaker 16: think of the case. The greatest lies are told in
- 2:38:53Speaker 16: the name of truth. The greatest crimes are committed in
- 2:38:56Speaker 16: the name of justice. The quotation is Jim Garrison's be
- 2:39:00Speaker 16: used for him or against him in this strange case.
- 2:39:03Speaker 4: Good Night, pop up Peace,
