Transcript
- 0:00Big price increases in silver as the result of big problems right
- 0:06now in Mexico. But why is Mexico so important?
- 0:12It is critical for us to understand as silver investors
- 0:17why we need to keep an eye on what is going on in Mexico and
- 0:21it's going on right now and it absolutely could result in $65
- 0:28silver, $75 silver, $85 silver, maybe even what our friend Keith
- 0:34Newmeyer loves to talk about, triple digit, $100 silver.
- 0:40But why is Mexico such a big deal?
- 0:44The silver investors, you think, oh, Mexico, did you know that
- 0:48Mexico on an annual basis produces somewhere between 25%
- 0:54and 30% of the world's silver? There's more Mexico, more
- 1:00Mexico. There's more Mexico in Mexico.
- 1:05Let's cut. We'll try that one over that
- 1:07Sunday morning. It's early.
- 1:09Hey, we're all together. There's more silver in Mexico
- 1:13than anywhere else on the planet.
- 1:17So when things change in Mexico and they are changing, that can
- 1:22have a major impact on the silver price.
- 1:26Let me read a couple of super interesting data points about
- 1:30Mexico and silver. According to the United States
- 1:33Geological Society, Mexico is the largest silver producing
- 1:39country in the world. They produce an estimated 6300
- 1:44metric tons of silver. That's what they produced in
- 1:472022. This yield is significantly
- 1:51higher. This is where it gets
- 1:53interesting and guys I've got a piece of news about Mexico that
- 1:57we're going to get to later that is good, good, good, good, good,
- 2:01good, good, good, good, good, good news for silver investors.
- 2:06But the amount of the amount of silver produced by Mexico is
- 2:10higher than The Who. Who do you think the second
- 2:12largest silver producer in the world is?
- 2:15Take a while. Guess who's the largest gold
- 2:19producer in the world? China.
- 2:21Who's the second largest silver producer in the world?
- 2:25Yes, you guessed it. China.
- 2:27I kind of gave it away. Way to you.
- 2:29Who's they? They're mine.
- 2:31Output was a little over half of what Mexico produced in 2022.
- 2:37Now I want you to think about China and silver.
- 2:40How much of the silver that China produces in their own
- 2:45country? As the second largest producer
- 2:48of silver in the world, how much of that do you think they sell
- 2:51on to the open market? How much of the silver?
- 2:55And think about this I, you know, I've noticed this lately
- 2:58when I first got into silver stacking.
- 3:00Remember the silver Chinese Panda coins?
- 3:03They were kind of readily available at my local coin shop
- 3:06and you could get them, you'd see them for sale on the, you
- 3:09know, jam bullion, the big online retailers.
- 3:12You don't really see Chinese Silver Panda coins readily
- 3:16available anymore. I strongly believe that China,
- 3:20and I don't know this, so I can't say this, but maybe one of
- 3:23you can do the research, but I don't think China exports any of
- 3:28its silver. We know China doesn't export any
- 3:31of its gold, but why is that a big deal with silver?
- 3:35Because that's again less silver going on to the market, right.
- 3:41And and so we know if the second largest producer is hoarding all
- 3:46their silver and the largest producer, Mexico has some issues
- 3:52and we're going to cover all these issues, the supply of
- 3:55silver already constrained could be under even greater stress.
- 4:03Most of Mexico's silver production comes from silver
- 4:06mines and byproduct extraction from lead and zinc mines.
- 4:12OK, A lot of silver is mined as a byproduct.
- 4:15The country's largest silver mine.
- 4:17Remember this because this is critical.
- 4:20Pinasquito mine, which yielded 32,000,000 ounces of silver in
- 4:262022. Remember that mine name
- 4:28Pinasquito, because we're going to talk about something critical
- 4:32regarding that mine as well. That's the largest silver mine
- 4:36in Mexico. Another noteworthy mind is the
- 4:38Fresnio mine. Now this is just interesting as
- 4:41a side fact, the world's largest primary silver mine which has
- 4:46been producing silver for over 5 centuries after it was founded
- 4:53in the year 1554. Is that mine blowing or what?
- 4:58Does one mine in Mexico has been producing silver since 1554?
- 5:06But let's back up to the Penasquito mine because this is
- 5:09this is where it gets interesting.
- 5:11Remember guys, Mexico provides 25 to 30% of the world's silver,
- 5:17OK. We already know overall the
- 5:19supply of silver is decreasing, Mexico 25 to 30% of it.
- 5:25All right. Now what's interesting is this
- 5:28Penasquito mine which is run by Newmont and there's, this is
- 5:32where we're going to start talking about the, the, the
- 5:34factors about Mexico that are very good for silver.
- 5:38Penasquito mine run by Newmont, they there's been a strike there
- 5:42for like the last two months. The mine has been shut down.
- 5:46It drove Newmont, which is one of the biggest mining companies
- 5:49in the world, to publicly say that they were going to
- 5:53reevaluate their mining investments in Mexico.
- 5:58Guys. And this is not the, this is not
- 6:01the good news, the big kicker for Silver that I'm going to get
- 6:05to right. I'm going to save it till the
- 6:06end because it's, it's good, good news.
- 6:09You're going to want to hang around for this.
- 6:11But Mexico is becoming increasingly difficult for
- 6:15countries to mine in. OK, now if you want to get your
- 6:19hand on some silver right now, right over to Pin Becks Pi MB
- 6:23EX. They're an online bullying
- 6:25dealer that I trust that I've worked with.
- 6:28Silver, gold or platinum. PIM bex.com.
- 6:31Check them out. I think PIM BEX is best and you
- 6:33will too. Now back to silver in Mexico.
- 6:38Mexico's a mess. OK, all the silver that gets,
- 6:42you know the second biggest supplier, China, they hoard
- 6:45there. So Mexico's this primary
- 6:47supplier of silver. There have been so many troubles
- 6:52for mining companies in Mexico in particular over the last
- 6:56three or four years. It's happening because of two
- 6:59things #1 social issues strikes in #2.
- 7:04The government Amlo, I believe his name is the guy who's
- 7:08running Mexico right now is so anti mining.
- 7:11I'm going to give you some examples of companies that have
- 7:14had trouble in in Mexico, America's gold and silver.
- 7:18They had a mine that was shut down, a silver mine for like
- 7:22almost two years because of strikes in Mexico.
- 7:25Silver mine, Equinox, Equinox Gold, Ross Beatty's massive
- 7:30company. Ask them how their experience
- 7:32has been in Mexico. They've had big social issues at
- 7:36their gold mine, but nonetheless major issues.
- 7:39And this is just a few of the big companies that are having
- 7:42problems. Ask ask Keith Newmeyer with
- 7:47First Majestic how how he feels about the current climate in
- 7:51Mexico. They have a royalty dispute.
- 7:54There's all kinds of issues right now in Mexico when it
- 7:59comes to mining. They've passed new laws to make
- 8:02it much more difficult, I mean exceedingly more difficult, for
- 8:07companies to explore for silver, to develop silver mines, to get
- 8:12permits for silver mines. They're controlling how the
- 8:14mines are built. On top of it all, Fortuna
- 8:18Silver, a company that I follow super closely, They've had the
- 8:22most bizarre experience with the environmental people in Mexico
- 8:27over the last two years where they're trying to inhibit their
- 8:32ability to mine silver. The people in the community
- 8:35where Fortuna operates love the mine, love the jobs.
- 8:39But the government is, I mean just bizarro things that they're
- 8:44doing regarding like environmental permits For
- 8:47Fortuna, the the the bottom line is silver mining companies.
- 8:52This I guarantee you any silver mining executive that does
- 8:56anything in Mexico will tell you how difficult it's been.
- 8:59But remember, what does that mean for the silver price?
- 9:03Well, it means it means if it's harder to explore, build or
- 9:08mine, Silver in Mexico, in Mexico is the biggest producer
- 9:13of silver in the world. In the second biggest producer,
- 9:17China doesn't sell any of their silver.
- 9:20Really, outside of the country. That means the supply of silver
- 9:24could be under serious, serious stress.
- 9:28OK, let's let's take a look at this here.
- 9:34We know the demand for silver is going higher and higher and
- 9:39higher as the supply gets constricted.
- 9:42It's going to cause a big issues for the silver industry.
- 9:46And let me read this to you because this is what you've all
- 9:50been waiting for. Let me read this to you.
- 9:55Bear with me. This speaks, this is, this is
- 10:00really almost unbelievable that this is going on right now.
- 10:05This came from Tavi Costa. Tavi is a hedge fund manager,
- 10:10one of the most respected analysts in the precious metal
- 10:14sector. You probably know who he is,
- 10:16TAVI Costa. He's from Brazil.
- 10:20He's widely followed. He's super respected.
- 10:23He knows more about what's going on in the precious metal sector
- 10:27than almost anybody. And here's something he put on X
- 10:31this Sit down for this one, it says.
- 10:34Mexico just reported its steepest decline in annual
- 10:40production of silver in four years.
- 10:44Steepest decline in annual production, which is notably
- 10:49worse. This was even worse than during
- 10:53the COVID lockdowns, he says. Let us not forget that Mexico is
- 10:59by far the largest producer of metal in the world today.
- 11:04The supply of silver remains remarkably constrained.
- 11:08The supply is constrained, and if this is indeed the beginning
- 11:13of another gold cycle, the metal could be worth multiples of its
- 11:18current price. Let me show you this little
- 11:20chart that he has here. See if I can make it bigger.
- 11:24Bear with me. OK.
- 11:30I'm going to show you this and you can see I'm going to leave
- 11:35that up for a few seconds. That's silver production in
- 11:39Mexico, OK. And you can see it's going down,
- 11:44down, down. The trend is down and it's even
- 11:47lower than what we had during the COVID situation where a lot
- 11:52of mines were shut down. Now that big mind, the
- 11:56Penasquito mind that Newmont has has been shut down, there's a
- 12:00major strike there. So that is contributing to this.
- 12:03But the overall trend from Mexico, right, the world's
- 12:08largest silver producer is to make it exceedingly difficult
- 12:11from a government regulatory perspective to mine for silver
- 12:15in the country. And from a social perspective,
- 12:19it seems like every week we're hearing about a new strike.
- 12:24What does that mean for the future?
- 12:25When we look at the supply of silver, to me it means only one
- 12:29thing, a constraint on the supply of silver when when at
- 12:35the same time we know the demand.
- 12:38I read this morning and again it was on X, but people were
- 12:42talking, they were, they were debating, right, how much of an
- 12:46increase we're going to see in demand for silver for solar
- 12:50alone. Some people were saying 300%.
- 12:53This is by the year 2030. I apologize.
- 12:56So in the next seven years, what will the increase in demand for
- 13:00silver be just for the solar industry alone?
- 13:04This doesn't include electronics, electric vehicles,
- 13:07medical, all defense industry, all the other sources of demand.
- 13:12They were debating about the lowest that that that anybody
- 13:15brought up was 200 and 5300%. Some people are even saying that
- 13:21we're going to see 700% increase in demand for silver from solar
- 13:26alone by the year 2030. Where is it going to come from?
- 13:32Where's all the silver going to come from?
- 13:35Because I need to remind you of one thing.
- 13:37Last year there was a deficit in silver from the Silver Institute
- 13:42themselves. Their numbers indicated that
- 13:46there were 1.2 billion ounces of silver demanded by the world.
- 13:53So the world needed 1.2 billion ounces of silver.
- 13:58Total mine output was like 850 million, right?
- 14:03And there was a little bit that was added, or 900 million,
- 14:06whatever, and a little bit that was added for recycling.
- 14:08But recycling is not cost effective at this level, right?
- 14:12You need to have $50 silver for recycling of silver to really
- 14:17make any sense whatsoever. So as we look at this, there's a
- 14:22deficit. There's more being demanded
- 14:25every year than it's being supplied.
- 14:27And we know the supply from China is not going to get any
- 14:31better. But even more important, from
- 14:35Mexico, the world's largest silver producer, we've got
- 14:39government issues, We got social issues.
- 14:42We have a shrinking supply of silver coming from the world's
- 14:47biggest silver supplier. I don't know.
- 14:50I mean, what happens? Help me out here.
- 14:54What happens when there's much more robust demand for anything
- 15:00than there is supply and there's a shrinking supply?
- 15:04Doesn't it seem like to us to, shouldn't it seem like that it's
- 15:08just a matter of time until we get higher silver prices, the
- 15:14real silver price? Yeah.
- 15:17And are we seeing that right now?
- 15:20Let's talk about. We're going to talk about this
- 15:21every day because this is probably the one of the other
- 15:24biggest stories in the world of silver.
- 15:27Besides the fact that you have decided to join me here today.
- 15:30It's a big deal. Over 350 people on a Sunday
- 15:34morning. Wow.
- 15:35Thank you. Hey, one favor.
- 15:38See that? That's my ugly thumb.
- 15:40Please give this a thumbs up. And I'm gonna give you 10 rings
- 15:44of the bell because we got to 100.
- 15:47Thumbs up 12345. 678910 OK, now, now that darn bell made me lose
- 15:57my train of thought. Oh yeah, the other big story
- 16:01with silver right now lighting the Internet on fire, Lighting
- 16:07X, also known as Twitter on fire right now.
- 16:12We know the story with Mexico, we just covered that.
- 16:15But what is going on in China, the second largest supplier of
- 16:19silver? Let me give you some the most
- 16:21updated information that we have right now from the Oriental
- 16:26Ghost. This is the guy, he's the guru
- 16:29of following the silver price in China.
- 16:33We've had a big, big price differentiation between the
- 16:37Western COMEX and the LBMA, right the the paper markets that
- 16:42traditionally set the price of silver and the Shanghai Futures
- 16:46Exchange. Here's the latest I could find
- 16:49from the Oriental Ghost and this looks like Friday, the price of
- 16:53silver on the Shanghai Futures Exchange closed at $25.40.
- 17:00Still probably 1112% higher to buy silver in China than it is
- 17:08to supposed to buy paper silver to buy electronic here.
- 17:12Here's your silver that you can get on the COMEX.
- 17:14Go ahead and grab some. Reach out in front of yourself.
- 17:16Grab some, Grab some COMEX Silver.
- 17:20It's right over there with the bitcoins.
- 17:22It's electronic. It doesn't exist.
- 17:24Right? Grab it.
- 17:25Grab that. Comex Silver.
- 17:26I just got some. That's great.
- 17:28Put it with your Ethereum and your Bitcoin, right.
- 17:32In China, their markets are more based upon actual physical
- 17:37metal. Go figure.
- 17:39Thank you, Darrell, for the Super chat, my friend.
- 17:41What a nice thing for you to do on a Sunday morning.
- 17:44I appreciate that. We are raising a family on this
- 17:48channel. So thank you.
- 17:49Nonetheless, this price differentiation is being hotly
- 17:55debated. Why is why are gold and silver?
- 18:00Gold is also much more expensive in Shanghai.
- 18:03Not as expensive as silver, but nonetheless it's still more
- 18:09expensive and people are scratching their heads.
- 18:12The only thing that that most people are coming to the
- 18:14conclusion of that that maybe, just maybe, that's the real
- 18:19price of silver. Because don't forget what I
- 18:21said, the Shanghai Gold Exchange, the Shanghai Futures
- 18:24Exchange that is based on real physical metal.
- 18:29Now I'm not saying it's 100%, but it's much from what I've
- 18:33learned in this, you know, this is an evolving story.
- 18:37It's much more based on physical metal.
- 18:39So that could tell us. Now hold on one second.
- 18:42I'm gonna have a sip of coffee. Don't go anywhere.
- 18:44Don't you go anywhere? Because we got a lot more to
- 18:54talk about. Thank you, Jim McDaniels.
- 18:56Thank you, Ron. Susie and the moderators, yes,
- 18:59the moderators make this happen. We've got Annie Oakley.
- 19:03We've got Coin Shop, Chris, We've got Neil from Neil, Hans
- 19:07Dynasty. We have Mary Radcliffe and we
- 19:10have Jake from Jake's custom parts.
- 19:11These guys help make these live streams special and they help
- 19:17make the community. So please type 4 in a in a
- 19:20demonstration of thanks. And if I forgot any moderator,
- 19:24just throw a Ding Dong and hit me in the head.
- 19:26OK, I'm not perfect. We're going to talk about
- 19:30copper. Copper's kind of like the
- 19:32forgotten cousin of silver, gold and platinum in a little bit.
- 19:36But first, this is one more unbelievable, unbelievable fact
- 19:44about silver that we need to cover.
- 19:46So bear with me. Let me get back to the Let me
- 19:50get back to the whiteboard here. Bear with me.
- 19:55Silver, Silver. Silver.
- 19:57Silver. Silver where was it?
- 20:00Uh oh, up there it is. OK, so we talked about supply
- 20:06constraints in silver. Look, I talked to the CEO's of
- 20:10the silver mining companies. I'm going to be talking to Jorge
- 20:13Ganoza, the CEO of Fortuna Silver this week.
- 20:16I've talked with Keith Newmeyer in the past once, but I can say
- 20:20I talked with them OK. I talked with a lot of the other
- 20:23mining CEO's as well, senior managers, they all say the same
- 20:27thing about two things about silver.
- 20:29Number one, it's exceedingly difficult to find good quality
- 20:34new silver deposits in the ground.
- 20:37And #2, Nobody's doing it because you know why?
- 20:41There's no money in it at this price.
- 20:43At 2220, three $20 silver. It's not worth it to look, guys.
- 20:48That is going to constrain the the amount of silver.
- 20:52But there's a one fact alone that drives home the fact that
- 20:58silver is becoming increasingly rare.
- 21:02Let me read this to you. This comes from Visual
- 21:05Capitalist. If you've ever never looked at
- 21:08Visual Capitalist, what they do is they they present like
- 21:14economic or financial data to you in a visual form.
- 21:18Again it's called Visual Capitalist and they map out the
- 21:2210 largest undeveloped silver deposits in the world.
- 21:27OK. They talk about silvers is going
- 21:30to be needed in all the green technology.
- 21:33I won't read you that. We already know that you
- 21:35basement dwellers, you know the story behind silver in the green
- 21:41economy, electronics, solar. Like I said, some people are
- 21:45saying demand for solar alone could go up by by 700%.
- 21:50This says here in two thousand 2227%.
- 21:54This is not the incredible fact I got an incredible fact for you
- 21:58I'm going to share. But this is a good fact. 27% of
- 22:01all silver consumption in the United States was attributed to
- 22:07electrical and electronics, 27%. While, and this is interesting,
- 22:14only 10% was linked to solar technology.
- 22:18So 27% of the silver is already being consumed by electrical and
- 22:24electronics. Only 10% solar, but people are
- 22:28saying that could grow by almost 506 hundred, 400, whatever.
- 22:33It's going to go up significantly as we move into
- 22:36just the next seven years alone. That's not the Incredible Hulk
- 22:42fact. Remember the Incredible Hulk
- 22:45when you were kids about silver? Global silver?
- 22:50Demand is rising. OK there was a a a 237.7 million
- 22:57outs deficit like we talked about in 2022.
- 23:01By the way I forgot I've I've, I failed you.
- 23:05I forgot to tell you that was an all time record last year.
- 23:09That's deficit in silver all time record 2023.
- 23:14Industrial demand for silver is forecast to rise by 4%.
- 23:20Here's the crazy fact. OK.
- 23:23Currently sit down for this one. Currently the world's top 10
- 23:29undeveloped silver deposits contain.
- 23:32How much silver do you think is Arkin is How much?
- 23:36Yeah, how much silver, I almost said are how much silver do you
- 23:40think are contained? How much silver?
- 23:44I'm going to talk speak like the Goldman Sachs How much silver do
- 23:47you think is contained in the top 10 undeveloped silver
- 23:54deposits in the world? Doo Doo.
- 23:57Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo and this is crazy crazy when you think about
- 24:03this. If you answered 984,000,000
- 24:09ounces, write that number down or remember it.
- 24:13There's 984,000,000 ounces of silver in the top 10 undeveloped
- 24:21silver deposits in the world. Why is that crazy Or ask me,
- 24:24Ron, are you crazy? Ron, what's the big deal?
- 24:26About 908? It's a lot of silver.
- 24:29Yeah, that is. But I want you to take a step
- 24:32back and consider this fact, Okay.
- 24:35The top 10 undeveloped silver projects 984,000,000 ounces.
- 24:40That is significantly less than what in one year 2022 the world
- 24:48demanded. We have less than one year
- 24:51supply of silver in the world's top ten undeveloped silver
- 24:57projects. What does that tell you?
- 24:59And I and I, and again, I can tell you from speaking to these
- 25:02CEO's, I mean I would think that the top silver projects,
- 25:07undeveloped silver, that's the pipeline of new silver supply
- 25:11coming in would have like 5 or 10 or 30 or 50 years worth of
- 25:16silver. No, the top 10 silver
- 25:19development projects, they have like 9 months worth of silver.
- 25:25Does that blow your mind? You know in what we also know
- 25:30all these silver companies, Fortuna, Heckler, all, all the
- 25:35big guys, right? They'll tell you the silver is
- 25:40getting so much harder to mine. OK, it's it's it's becoming so
- 25:45much more exceedingly difficult to get that metal out of the
- 25:48ground. What does that tell us from a
- 25:50big picture perspective when we take a step back, right.
- 25:54People will say, why would you buy silver?
- 25:56Why would you want to buy, you know, silver?
- 26:00Remember, the world's largest silver producing country is
- 26:04basically saying, hey, silver industry goes off, we don't want
- 26:09you here anymore. We don't want silver mining.
- 26:12I mean that's what the Silver CEO's will tell you.
- 26:15That's the feeling. Mexico has become an undesirable
- 26:20jurisdiction in which to mine. But the problem is they're the
- 26:25biggest silver producing country in the world and we can't go to
- 26:28the second biggest. That would be China, because
- 26:32China's not going to give away any of their silver.
- 26:34They're going to keep it all in the Shanghai Gold Exchange, in
- 26:37the Shanghai Futures Exchange. Think about this, guys.
- 26:41And then at the same time as we have the shrinking, you know,
- 26:45and countries aren't cooperating anymore, we've got a silver
- 26:49demand picture that is going through the roof, solar,
- 26:53electronics, military, you name it.
- 26:56Anywhere we look, we're seeing silver is absolutely crazy.
- 27:01But what about copper? Now let's learn a little bit
- 27:06about copper. You probably definitely know
- 27:08this, but copper is the predominant mineral that's used
- 27:13in electrical. It's it's the big the big demand
- 27:16story for copper is the electrification of the planet.
- 27:20OK, how does copper relate to silver?
- 27:24Well a lot of silver is still found with the with copper
- 27:28mining it's a byproduct. OK, but but the copper, the new
- 27:33copper resources in the world are deeper.
- 27:36They're different. The low hanging copper fruit has
- 27:39been harvested. So now the new copper deposits
- 27:42that are going to have to be mined to meet all this crazy
- 27:45insane demand for silver and copper, the new copper deposits,
- 27:50they don't have as much silver in coexistence with the copper.
- 27:55All right, but let me read, let me just read something from
- 27:57Citibank. Let's hear from Citibank about
- 27:59copper, because copper is, is and like copper and platinum.
- 28:05Everybody always talks about silver and gold, but platinum
- 28:08and copper are like first cousins.
- 28:11Okay, they they matter for the overall picture.
- 28:16Bear with me here. Here it is.
- 28:23Here it is. They're always trying to sell me
- 28:28something, OK? Citibank says a copper boom will
- 28:32make historic 2008 oil price surge look like child's play.
- 28:39Excuse me? Look like child's play.
- 28:40Let me read this. According to Citigroup, by the
- 28:45year 2025, the copper boom will make the 2008 oil price hike
- 28:50look like child's play. Max Layton, managing director of
- 28:55commodity research at City, compared the upcoming copper
- 28:59surge to the 2008 oil rally, when oil prices went from $50 a
- 29:05barrel to over 100 and 140 dollars a barrel.
- 29:10He said copper is now considered, quote UN quote, the
- 29:13new oil we need to stay on top of the skies because copper and
- 29:17silver and gold and platinum, they're all related due to its
- 29:21role in electric vehicle batteries and green energy
- 29:25technologies like solar panels. Does that sound familiar?
- 29:29And wind turbine when turbines and in turn could see a similar
- 29:34upside in the next three years, OK.
- 29:37Although copper prices are expected to decline this year
- 29:40due to China's economic struggle struggles and slower global
- 29:43growth, City sees this as an opportunity.
- 29:46Copper is going through the roof, silver, copper demand is
- 29:51going through the roof, silver demand is going through the
- 29:56roof. Now, we already covered the
- 29:58silver story from that supply perspective.
- 30:02What about the pricing mechanism for silver?
- 30:06That's the big key. That's what's been holding
- 30:09silver back now for decades. The COMEX and the LBMA have been
- 30:15suppressing the price of silver and gold for decades.
- 30:18We know, we know. Think about this.
- 30:21Our government was able to prosecute and convict to JP
- 30:26Morgan traders for price manipulation in the precious
- 30:30metals doing it by spoofing. If you're, I mean what do you
- 30:34think if you if our government was able to get two people, two
- 30:37guys and with the best attorneys, you know those JP
- 30:40Morgan guys had the best attorneys money could buy, right
- 30:44And our government was able to get to, that's the tip of the
- 30:48iceberg. That's what I'm being told.
- 30:50That's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the
- 30:53manipulation and suppression of the metals prices that we've
- 30:58endured for years. So we hear this, this talk about
- 31:02a new pricing mechanism for silver, for gold, for platinum,
- 31:07for copper, for all of it. How would that happen and what
- 31:13would it mean for the price of the metals?
- 31:16We're going to talk about that right now, because that's the
- 31:26only way that we're going to see value realization.
- 31:30You want it. You want your.
- 31:31You want the value of your metals to go up, right?
- 31:34Unless you're wanting to buy more, more, more, more, more.
- 31:37But a lot of us have already accumulated what we think is a
- 31:40significant amount. Oh, we got 200 thumbs up.
- 31:44Hey guys, when we get the 200 thumbs up, we have a tradition,
- 31:47A spaceman dwellers, we ring the 200 bell and we got 450 people.
- 31:55Awesome. On a Sunday morning and we're
- 31:58going to talk about the new price for silver, the new price
- 32:03for gold, the new price for platinum, copper, Palladium, all
- 32:07of them. How is it going to happen?
- 32:09How is it going to happen? Right.
- 32:12Traditionally, the Comex and the LBMA have dominated, setting the
- 32:17price of the metals with huge leverage, right?
- 32:20You hear all kinds of incredible numbers that you know, the Comex
- 32:24has for each one ounce of silver that it has.
- 32:27Some people say 400 contracts, 40, whatever it is, it's insane,
- 32:33right? They'd leverage it up.
- 32:34All that that price that's determined is only based on
- 32:39paper. There's not enough silver in the
- 32:41in the in the vaults to cover all the contracts that are
- 32:46outstanding. That's just a simple, simple
- 32:50fact. But what is going to break that?
- 32:53You know, we've talked to the experts.
- 32:55You probably have watched some of the previous interviews that
- 32:58I've done. What eventually breaks it is
- 33:01when physical demand overwhelms the paper market.
- 33:06Now, what could make that happen?
- 33:07I think there's two, two things. OK, two things.
- 33:11Number one could be crisis like we had.
- 33:14Remember, Remember the Just as an example, let's just look back
- 33:18six months ago. It's been a it's been a really.
- 33:21Does it feel like it's been a calm, like a fake calm six
- 33:25months in the West, right? Like, not a lot has happened.
- 33:28But six months ago, before this calm, we had a little banking
- 33:33crisis here in the United States.
- 33:35Three of the four largest banks in the history of the country
- 33:37went belly up. Suddenly everything's OK now.
- 33:41Somehow the Fed made-up some new program and and fixed
- 33:45everything. But nonetheless, when that
- 33:47little crisis erupted, demand for the precious metals went
- 33:51crazy. There's even a CNN, CNN,
- 33:54Children's News Network article about people buying gold and how
- 33:59it's still right. The surge abated, but there's
- 34:04still people buying actual, physical gold.
- 34:07People are worried. OK, so one of the ways that the
- 34:11physical market could absolutely overwhelm the paper market is in
- 34:16a state of crisis, a financial crisis, some other type crisis
- 34:20that could erupt in the United States.
- 34:22A lot of you and a lot we all have varying degrees of what we
- 34:26think is going to happen. But when we look at the big
- 34:29picture in this country, financially, the way our our
- 34:32country is being run monetarily from the Fed, how it's being run
- 34:36when we look at politically what's going on in this country,
- 34:39when we look socially, what's going on in this country, When
- 34:42we look at the consumer, who's the backbone of the US economy,
- 34:46how they are in horrific shape, we can see that a crisis,
- 34:50because everything is so delicate, so fragile, is not out
- 34:54of the question. That could do it.
- 34:56That's option #1I promised you two options, but I want you to
- 35:00promise me one thing before I give you that second option.
- 35:04I want you to please subscribe to my channel if you haven't
- 35:07done so. That's all I ask.
- 35:09And give this a thumbs up. It'll be my last bag.
- 35:12Thumbs up, my big chubby thumb. It looks like that.
- 35:15If you press it, that helps get the word out to more people.
- 35:19OK, now what's the second factor that we need to think about
- 35:24regarding price discovery and the metals?
- 35:28It could be this massive bifurcation that we're having
- 35:32right now in the world, guys, the bricks.
- 35:35The bricks. Plus, don't forget we have Saudi
- 35:37Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Argentina,
- 35:44oh boy, Egypt and Ethiopia joining them.
- 35:48And those countries are developing their own markets for
- 35:53silver and gold and platinum and oil and everything else.
- 35:57It's happening. The Shanghai Cooperation
- 36:01Organization, the AZNASEAN, read about that.
- 36:05They are developing. And what about, like we talked
- 36:07earlier, the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the Shanghai Gold
- 36:12Exchange? Now one thing we have to
- 36:14recognize, we're talking about this different price based upon
- 36:19research that I've done the the, the, the, the Comex still is
- 36:24significantly bigger than the Shanghai Gold Exchange, but they
- 36:29are growing and growing and we're seeing more countries.
- 36:32Even I'm hearing that in Hong Kong, a lot of the dealers in
- 36:35Hong Kong instead of using the Comex price to base their metal
- 36:39sales on, they've switched now to the Shanghai Gold exchange
- 36:43price again because it's a more physical market.
- 36:46But that shift, that's the other option.
- 36:48We could have domestic Western issues that could blow out the
- 36:52price for silver and gold, but we already know, we already know
- 36:58that the world through this bifurcation is moving in that
- 37:02direction as well, right. And at some point, when you look
- 37:06at the combined strength, right, maybe China on their own isn't
- 37:10as big as the United States. But when you combine China with
- 37:13India with Russia with Brazil, with Saudi Arabia, and they say,
- 37:18hey guys, we think there's a different price.
- 37:22We got news for you. Sorry.
- 37:24We think knock, knock, are you there?
- 37:29Sorry, Comex. But we think there's a different
- 37:32price for gold, a different price for silver.
- 37:36Oh, and oil, the biggest commodity in the world, which
- 37:41will affect everything. It's easy to see when you look
- 37:46at what's going on in Mexico and and people are talking about
- 37:49Mexico possibly joining the bricks, possibly.
- 37:55And there's a whole host of other countries as well.
- 37:58But nonetheless, when you look at what's going on in Mexico
- 38:01with silver, and we love silver, right?
- 38:04We love all the metals. We love to talk about the
- 38:06economy. I love the fact that you're here
- 38:08with me in the basement, but we love silver in particular.
- 38:12And when you look at what's going on in that market alone,
- 38:16it's astounding. I want to talk about gold really
- 38:18quickly. Look, these videos aren't
- 38:20possible without sponsors. We talked about pin backs.
- 38:22What about this company? First, mining gold, if you want
- 38:26to protect yourself with an investment of gold in the
- 38:29ground, they're a Canadian gold mining company with 225 million
- 38:36ounce projects in Canada. Now think about this, we talked
- 38:40about how Mexico is becoming an increasingly difficult
- 38:44jurisdiction in which to do mining.
- 38:48Canada is becoming more friendly toward mining, in particular
- 38:52Quebec. And 1st Mining Gold has one of
- 38:54their 5 million ounce projects in Quebec that's the Du Parquet
- 38:58project and another one in Ontario, the Spring Pole
- 39:01project. But they have four other project
- 39:04interest in Canada as well, including one in Newfoundland, F
- 39:09Frank, Frank, Mary George, Frank, FF, MGF.
- 39:14I came at a hard time saying that that's the stock symbol.
- 39:17Go to firstmininggold.com, learn a little bit if you want.
- 39:20If you're interested, learn more about the company.
- 39:22You can also reach out to their Director of Investor Relations,
- 39:25Paul Morris. He's a great guy, would be happy
- 39:29to answer any of your questions. His e-mail address is in the
- 39:32description of this video. So yeah, let's just talk about
- 39:36that for a second. When it comes to mining
- 39:39jurisdictions, Canada is becoming much more friendly
- 39:43while at the same time Mexico is becoming much more difficult of
- 39:48a place and that is going to kill silver guys.
- 39:52It's not going to kill the silver price.
- 39:55It's going to be like, you know when you're building a fire and
- 39:57you put it a couple new logs on dry logs, it's going to be good
- 40:01for the price. But they are killing the silver
- 40:05industry right now in Mexico. It's like just strangling.
- 40:11So many crazy ways and I can't I'm gonna say it for the third
- 40:16time. I'm repeater Ron like Susie
- 40:19says. But when the number one producer
- 40:22of silver is is applying heat to the silver miners and they're
- 40:27producing less silver and #2 doesn't let any silver leave
- 40:33their country, that's China and they're setting a new price for
- 40:38silver. I don't know.
- 40:40You know, I, I, I, I I think it's it's a good warm fuzzy for
- 40:44a silver lovers to remember this fact and this is just my
- 40:48opinion. And then when it comes to
- 40:50talking about companies and stocks and whether you should
- 40:52buy silver or gold. I'm not giving financial advice
- 40:55OK. But, but when I think about
- 40:59about that gold in the ground in Canada or I think about the
- 41:02silver that I may get from my friends at Penn Becks here.
- 41:06Here's a South African Kruger Ant.
- 41:10One of my favorites. I love them, OK, Absolutely love
- 41:14them. What I like about Let me explain
- 41:17to you what I like about this. I'm like the coin guy on TV.
- 41:20No, I'm not trying to sell you this coin.
- 41:22And no, I don't make a Commission.
- 41:23If you buy anything from pinbacks that has worked with
- 41:26them in the past, I trust them. OK, But let me tell you about
- 41:29this beautiful coin. I'm the, you know, those coin
- 41:32shows on TV. Have I got a deal for you?
- 41:37This is what I like about this coin.
- 41:39I like the fact that if I buy it for $26, I feel confident, very,
- 41:45very confident that it is going to at least maintain its value.
- 41:51OK, period. Period.
- 41:54But there's an opportunity. Not saying it's for sure.
- 41:58And it may be a short window, right?
- 42:00We got to be mentally prepared and monetarily prepared.
- 42:04Basement dwellers. Listen up, basement dwellers.
- 42:07This will be quick, but there's an opportunity that this could
- 42:10go up in real value. When I say real value, I mean,
- 42:15let's say right now we go to the grocery store and we can get 10
- 42:19loaves of bread, roughly $2.00 each roughly for this one ounce
- 42:23of silver. That we could see an opportunity
- 42:26present itself when things get hairy.
- 42:29And because The thing is with silver guys, you got to
- 42:32remember, if things get really bad, people rushed to metals.
- 42:37Most people are going to rush to silver.
- 42:39What happened during the little banking crisis?
- 42:41I think I forgot to finish that story.
- 42:43When you went to your local coin shop back in April, early April,
- 42:47they didn't have any silver, right?
- 42:49They didn't. It was all gone and you had to
- 42:51wait two or three weeks or four weeks.
- 42:53If you went online and ordered from one of the giant online
- 42:58bullion dealers, right, you had to.
- 43:00They raised their minimum amount that you had to spend and they
- 43:05said there were two 3-4 week delays.
- 43:08All right, so what's going to happen when things get hairy?
- 43:11You aren't going to be able to get this.
- 43:13And maybe maybe instead of getting just 10 loaves of bread,
- 43:17it'll maintain its value. But you could see an opportunity
- 43:20where maybe you could get 50 loaves of bread or 100 loaves of
- 43:25bread. And that's why you hear, I
- 43:27always like to go back to this. And I absolutely love him.
- 43:31And I'm forgetting his name. Darn it.
- 43:34The guy that says 100, you can get a house for 100 ounces of
- 43:37silver. I want to say Tavi Costa, but
- 43:39that's not it. Darn it.
- 43:42Somebody helped me out. Put it in the thing.
- 43:44I can't believe I'm having a senior moment right here.
- 43:46I'm degrading. Like I told you what happened
- 43:48over time, right? This is going to be the world's
- 43:51largest live stream. I'll be on here until I pass
- 43:54away. Rafi.
- 43:56Thank you, Sassy Silver. Thank you, Sassy Silver.
- 44:00Man, you helped me out in so many ways.
- 44:02I appreciate it. That's the little window, right?
- 44:06OK. We could see like a spike, like
- 44:08a bubble. Believe it or not, we're in an
- 44:11anti bubble right now when it comes to silver or gold.
- 44:13But we could see a little bubble that blows up in the silver
- 44:17price where, yeah, instead of getting 10 loaves of bread for
- 44:21this, which I would never do, but nonetheless, you might get
- 44:26100 loaves of bread, you might get 500 loaves of bread.
- 44:30You know, you might be feeding your whole neighborhood.
- 44:32We're going to have Turkey sandwiches.
- 44:34That's the exciting prospect with metals.
- 44:39But but again, what I? Fall back on is the fact that I
- 44:44am confident that that one ounce of silver is going to maintain
- 44:49its value. Think about this.
- 44:51Think about this. Let's have story time.
- 44:53OK, Sit back, have a have a sip of coffee and we're going to
- 44:56have story time. Thank you, Sean.
- 45:00Ding Dongs. I'm going to have to rent a semi
- 45:03truck to send these Ding Dongs down to our friend Coin Shop
- 45:06Chris, for those of you who do not know, Coin Shop Chris who is
- 45:09a critical part of this channel is addicted to Ding Dongs.
- 45:14He eats over 5 a day is what the word on the street is.
- 45:17So we got to keep Ding Dongs coming for him.
- 45:19Hold on one second. Then we have story time.
- 45:28I don't think we can. We can.
- 45:29We can hear this story Enough. Look.
- 45:33You're a human. I'm a human.
- 45:35We're all together here in the basement, yes.
- 45:37But nonetheless, you're a human watching this right now.
- 45:41One thing you can say for sure, absolutely for sure about you as
- 45:45a human is this. You had a great, great, great,
- 45:52great grandpa. OK, so did I.
- 45:54Maybe we had the same one. It's hard to keep track, right?
- 45:57But so maybe we're related. But nonetheless, you had a great
- 46:00to the 4th degree, Grandpa. He was alive in the year 1830.
- 46:07OK, 1820, whatever. I think my math is correct.
- 46:12Doesn't matter where in the world he was.
- 46:14Doesn't matter if he was in England, Toronto, Texas, Buenos
- 46:21Aries. Doesn't matter.
- 46:23You had a great, great, great, great grandpa.
- 46:25No matter where in the world. If that great grandpa of yours
- 46:28had a one ounce silver bar, one ounce silver coin, one ounce
- 46:34silver nugget, one ounce silver round, whatever it was and stuck
- 46:40it in his pocket, OK, all right. Stuck it in his pocket and
- 46:46forgot about it and hung his pants up at the house and died
- 46:51in 1825, right? And then the house got passed
- 46:54down from generation to generation.
- 46:56Finally, you're going to sell the house today.
- 46:59You go to clean out that house and you find those pants he was
- 47:02wearing and you find that one ounce silver coin bar round.
- 47:06Whatever it is, it's just as valuable today.
- 47:09No matter where in the world he was, no matter where in the
- 47:12world you are right now, it's just as valuable today as it was
- 47:17in 1820. And we could use that same
- 47:20example with your great grandpa to the 50th degree, who may have
- 47:24lived in the year 2020 or I'm sorry, 2220, not 20/22/20, 2018,
- 47:32100 years ago. That's the benefit to silver.
- 47:36And the same can be said about gold, and I imagine platinum as
- 47:39well, but I don't think platinum was really discovered until
- 47:42later on anyway. That's why we hold the metals.
- 47:47Now remember silver, that silver in your grandpa's pocket is
- 47:51being consumed every year, right.
- 47:54Used in electronics, used in all kinds of products and cannot.
- 47:58And used in defense, used in. Somebody said there's like a
- 48:00whole monster box. There's 500 ounces of silver.
- 48:04Did you know this in one Tomahawk missile?
- 48:07I think it was one of these big cruise missiles, you know, I
- 48:10mean, have you thought about that?
- 48:12Do you think that silver's ever going to be recovered?
- 48:15I don't think so. I'm not in favor of war or war.
- 48:19Susie doesn't like how I say war.
- 48:21Is it war or war? War, War.
- 48:24Nonetheless, those Tomahawk missiles have 500 ounces of
- 48:28silver in them. Silver is being consumed.
- 48:33Oh, and like we talked about 8 times already today, there's
- 48:38less silver being supplied to the market than is being
- 48:42demanded, huh. Think about that.
- 48:46Right? And you're going to tell me
- 48:47that, that the price of silver right now is fair?
- 48:51I don't think so. All right, guys, we need to
- 48:53accomplish something. Please.
- 48:56Please. This will be good for us.
- 48:58All of us will all feel good. Can we get?
- 49:00I said I wouldn't do it again. I lied to you.
- 49:03That's the first lie on this live stream.
- 49:05That's why I think it's not a live stream.
- 49:07It's a live stream. Can we get the 300 thumbs up?
- 49:12I'll do it one last time, I promise.
- 49:15Until I lose a sponsor over it, I will hit the bell with my
- 49:19nose. OK, All right.
- 49:22And if I lose a sponsor over it, well, you know, I'll have to
- 49:25consider I still may do it with my nose.
- 49:28It's been a part of the show from day one.
- 49:29We need to get the 300 thumbs up.
- 49:32Come on, man. Let's get that done.
- 49:34Let's get her done here on a Sunday morning, right.
- 49:39So no matter what you say about silver, I don't care.
- 49:44I believe in my heart that it's going to maintain.
- 49:47I know it's going to maintain its value and I know 150% and
- 49:53we're almost a 300 thumbs up that we could have major price
- 49:58increases in the silver. Let's get here, we.
- 50:00Got it. All right.
- 50:03OK. You want me to do it in slow
- 50:04motion for you today? Some people really don't like
- 50:08this. If you're one of the people that
- 50:09doesn't like this, I understand. I know.
- 50:11I, you know, it's a little different.
- 50:13I had to go to the doctor because I injured my nose doing
- 50:16this about six weeks ago. But I have a new method and it
- 50:19works quite well. That's three rings the bell with
- 50:26my big fat nose for 304 thumbs up.
- 50:30You guys are awesome. Have a great Sunday.
- 50:33I will not be back on later today.
- 50:36I'm taking the girls to the Fright Fest Halloween scare
- 50:40thing, so hopefully I lived through that.
- 50:41But I'll see you tomorrow. Take it easy.
- 50:44Thank you. Thank you all the moderators.
- 50:46Wait a minute man. I almost forgot the most
- 50:49important part of the show, man. Thank you for the Super chats.
- 50:54That's awesome. Thank you, Sean.
- 50:56As always, you're super generous with me.
- 51:00I never expect super chance, but really appreciate.
- 51:03We appreciate the support, you know the part.
- 51:07We didn't even talk about that today.
- 51:09But you know, it's so crazy trying to live in this day and
- 51:12age money wise. And my daughters, they got, they
- 51:16were much more or less expensive when they were five than they
- 51:19are when they're 11. It's like every day they need
- 51:21money for something. And I'm not begging for money.
- 51:23I'm just saying it's crazy. And then and then they eat more
- 51:28as they get bigger. That's good though.
- 51:31That's all right. You know, we make it, Neil.
- 51:34Hey, Neil, great to see you. Thank you, Neil.
