- 0:09Speaker 2: kind of snippet of it this morning on my way
- 0:10Speaker 2: to work, and it just cracks me up. I was
- 0:13Speaker 2: laughing so hard because there is this movie, uh it's
- 0:17Speaker 2: got Martin Lawrence in it and Tim Robbins, right, and
- 0:21Speaker 2: it's like nineteen ninety seven or something, which.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I actually did look up the clip, but it doesn't.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Say this exact part. However, Martin Lawrence accidentally shoots Kim like.
- 0:29Speaker 3: In the arm.
- 0:32Speaker 2: He's like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. He's like, you shot me,
- 0:35Speaker 2: you shot me. And then he's like, you know, say
- 0:38Speaker 2: you're sorry when.
- 0:40Speaker 3: You shoot someone.
- 0:42Speaker 2: You say you're sorry when you step on somebody's toe
- 0:45Speaker 2: or you you know.
- 0:47Speaker 4: In my thought process, like I was thinking that the
- 0:49Speaker 4: movie because like I said, it's nineteen ninety seven, so
- 0:52Speaker 4: I was thinking it said you say, like you say
- 0:54Speaker 4: you're sorry when you cut somebody off in traffic, not
- 0:56Speaker 4: when you shoot someone.
- 1:01Speaker 5: I was just laughing so.
- 1:03Speaker 4: So hard, and because in.
- 1:07Speaker 2: The end of the cloth anyways, it turns out to
- 1:09Speaker 2: be like this baby gash, like he just barely like
- 1:12Speaker 2: skimmed his arm and he acted like his arm was
- 1:14Speaker 2: falling off, which was hilarious in the movie too. But
- 1:16Speaker 2: this guy and then and then I was.
- 1:19Speaker 5: Laughing even harder.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Rich when you were.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Like, you were like, well, I mean you know you're
- 1:24Speaker 4: still alive.
- 1:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I want to take enjoy yourself. You cheated death.
- 1:29Speaker 6: You shall be so mad at the ladies. You could
- 1:31Speaker 6: have gotten a girlfriend at it.
- 1:34Speaker 7: It definitely crossed me up.
- 1:36Speaker 3: And I work in medical, you know, and like, I mean,
- 1:40Speaker 3: I have for twenty eight years, so I see all
- 1:42Speaker 3: kinds of things, right, and you know, our comment cards
- 1:45Speaker 3: are like, well, my ivy hurt the worst, and I'm
- 1:47Speaker 3: kind of like, well, you got hit by a car
- 1:50Speaker 3: and your ivy was the worst part of it, you know,
- 1:55Speaker 3: But did you die?
- 1:58Speaker 5: Yes, exactly.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It reminded me of but oh when I called in

- 2:11Speaker 9: to Lose. You're talking about you shot, I'm sorry.

- 12:41Speaker 1: car strapped in in.
- 12:43Speaker 9: My wife obviously she's on the scene. She calls ninety
- 12:47Speaker 9: one to.
- 12:47Speaker 1: One and she run and she calls nineyone and nine
- 12:51Speaker 1: one sad they're send an ambulance, right away, and they

- 13:43Speaker 9: I was in a car accident.
- 13:44Speaker 15: Yeah, you probably would.
- 13:45Speaker 16: But if that's the policy, I mean, I guess it
- 13:47Speaker 16: depends on the nature of your relationship to your stylist
- 13:50Speaker 16: and how hard they are to get in because that
- 13:52Speaker 16: lady probably wanted to just get out and go to
- 13:53Speaker 16: her appointment and just deal with the car lakers.

- 14:17Speaker 1: the woman that called the hair celeus.
- 14:18Speaker 17: I thought maybe it was like an accident or something like.
- 14:20Speaker 17: I remember when I was in high school, someone ran
- 14:22Speaker 17: through that in and out right off the freeway, ran
- 14:25Speaker 17: right through the doors on accident, totally just pressed the

- 15:07Speaker 9: Is it more about are you? What are your words
- 15:09Speaker 9: of affirmation? What are you?
- 15:10Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 15:10Speaker 15: Words of affirmation? Physical touch?
- 15:13Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 15:13Speaker 17: No, I mean gifts are always super nice. You guys
- 15:16Speaker 17: were so awesome and gifted me some stuff we talked
- 15:18Speaker 17: about on our afterwards podcast. But yeah, my memma, she
- 15:21Speaker 17: gave me some cash, got some stuff from my book reading.
- 15:25Speaker 15: So all good things good.
- 15:27Speaker 9: Yeah, hello, good morning, John Jay Rich can.
- 15:30Speaker 8: Help you, hey man. Having a good hairstylust is very important.
- 15:34Speaker 9: Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Like, so my wife just got diagnosed with cancer and
- 15:40Speaker 8: her hair starting to fall out, and so shad to
- 15:42Speaker 8: get this wig. And her hairstylist, who's been doing my
- 15:46Speaker 8: wife's hair for like twenty five years at this point
- 15:48Speaker 8: in time, has never done a wig in her entire career,
- 15:54Speaker 8: and she took these wigs. This wig is like eight
- 15:56Speaker 8: thousand dollars. She took this wig and she's dyed it
- 15:59Speaker 8: and everything she's gonna out and everything, it's gonna get
- 16:01Speaker 8: fitted to my wife and so like that that kind
- 16:04Speaker 8: of dedication from a hair status like is important. Man,
- 16:08Speaker 8: Like when you find one you trust. I would absolutely
- 16:10Speaker 8: call my hairshafts and be like yo, I got an accent.
- 16:12Speaker 8: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna make it, just to let.
- 16:14Speaker 15: Them know you're right connection.
- 16:17Speaker 9: How's she doing? What's is everything going? Okay? Your hair
- 16:20Speaker 9: growing back?
- 16:21Speaker 10: Well?
- 16:21Speaker 8: So yeah, well no, because she uh, this is her.
- 16:24Speaker 8: She had her second round.
- 16:25Speaker 13: Of chemo a week ago, going to her third round
- 16:28Speaker 13: and right there just in it, just right in the
- 16:31Speaker 13: think of it, like this all started like first of
- 16:32Speaker 13: like June, and so yeah, it's it's a wild experience.
- 16:36Speaker 13: But like the U her hair shouts is like oh
- 16:39Speaker 13: my god, like I want to do this, and like
- 16:41Speaker 13: she's gonna donate what hair she has left and stuff
- 16:44Speaker 13: like that, and so but she took this wig and
- 16:46Speaker 13: like I'm like, I'm trusting in your abilities, you know,
- 16:49Speaker 13: and to find somebody that like you put that trust
- 16:52Speaker 13: in to like handle like such an intimate thing like that,
- 16:55Speaker 13: or just doing your hair in general on a day
- 16:57Speaker 13: day basis is like super super super important.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Hey, there's a place if anyone else is going through this.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I've talked about them before. They're called National hair Loss
- 17:07Speaker 1: and they're here in they're in Phoenix or in Scottsdale,

- 17:11Speaker 1: they can get like they can get your wife like
- 17:13Speaker 1: a red light cap to help grow hair. They specifically
- 17:16Speaker 1: work with people that have lost their hair. That's their thing,
- 17:19Speaker 1: especially women. Oh nice, Yeah, that's really amazing. They do
- 17:21Speaker 1: amazing work. National hair Loss. Carly is the owner's name.

- 17:33Speaker 8: Thank good, listen to you.
- 17:34Speaker 9: I appreciate it. Thanks brother, Thank you. Hey, Diana, good morning,
- 17:36Speaker 9: you're on the air.
- 17:38Speaker 14: Wait, it's been morning.
- 17:39Speaker 11: So my mom lived in Mexico for most of her
- 17:44Speaker 11: young life, and once she turned seventeen, she got her
- 17:46Speaker 11: heir styling degree, and then a couple of years later
- 17:49Speaker 11: she met my dad, she got me, and then we're
- 17:52Speaker 11: in the States.
- 17:54Speaker 14: She tried cutting my hair as a child, but that
- 17:57Speaker 14: never worked out, so she just goes to other hair
- 18:00Speaker 14: styrelst Once I turned ten, she started styling my hair
- 18:03Speaker 14: a specific way because she just likes that style and
- 18:06Speaker 14: it works for my face, which is layered the frame
- 18:10Speaker 14: in the back and framed up front that frames my
- 18:13Speaker 14: round face. So since the ages of nine all the
- 18:16Speaker 14: way to thirty, she's the only one that ever touched
- 18:19Speaker 14: my hair.
- 18:20Speaker 15: I love that.
- 18:21Speaker 6: And you better call ahead if you're going to cancel
- 18:22Speaker 6: the pointment with her.
- 18:24Speaker 14: Oh yeah, there's a lot of times I just call her.
- 18:28Speaker 14: I'm like, hey, so I actually tell her I double
- 18:31Speaker 14: booked and I ended up buying like movie tickets, which
- 18:34Speaker 14: I forgot. She was supposed to cut my hair, and
- 18:37Speaker 14: she was like, I'm gonna charge you.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Did she ever was going through school like experiment on
- 18:43Speaker 1: you and gave you terrible haircuts.
- 18:45Speaker 14: No, she did that to her sisters. She showed me
- 18:51Speaker 14: some pictures from years ago and she's like, yeah, I
- 18:54Speaker 14: did this to your aunt and I did this to
- 18:56Speaker 14: your aunt, I did this to your dad, to my dad,
- 18:58Speaker 14: which is our grandpa, because she's not really good with
- 19:01Speaker 14: men's there.
- 19:02Speaker 8: It's great.
- 19:02Speaker 9: That's great. Hey, thank you so much for listening, Dana.
