Burned Alive, Shot, Raped: The Brutality of Oct 7th as seen from Ben's Pilgrimage to Israel · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

Speaker 1: The biggest thing is the filibuster. We have to get
• 0:04
Speaker 1: the country going. We will pass legislation at levels you've
• 0:08
Speaker 1: never seen before, and it'll be impossible to beat us,
• 0:11
Speaker 1: by the way. If they do, they're going to do
• 0:13
Speaker 1: it anyway, and they are going to immediately do the filibuster.
• 0:16
Speaker 1: And when they do the filibuster, they're going to pack
• 0:19
Speaker 1: the court. They want five at least five just now.
• 0:22
Speaker 1: I hear it's up to five. I actually heard up
• 0:24
Speaker 1: to seven and up to nine, okay, And they will
• 0:27
Speaker 1: do it the first day, maybe the week. Maybe they'll
• 0:31
Speaker 1: slow it down. And I have friends over there that
• 0:33
Speaker 1: are Democrats, very I'm close to a lot of people.
• 0:37
Speaker 1: They're going to make DC a state, and they're going
• 0:40
Speaker 1: to make Puerto Rico estate. So now they pick up
• 0:43
Speaker 1: two states, they pick up four senators. Okay, you think
• 0:47
Speaker 1: you have problems, They're going to do all of the things.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: They're going to pick up electoral votes. It's going to
• 0:51
Speaker 1: be a very very bad situation. And it's done. It's
• 0:55
Speaker 1: done as soon as they attain power.
• 0:57
Speaker 2: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 1:00
  Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
• 1:01
Speaker 3: Good Thursday morning, it is so nice to be with
• 1:03

Speaker 3: the forty seven morning update. We are going to get
• 1:10
Speaker 3: back to politics as normal, I can promise you. But
• 1:13
Speaker 3: I was able to have an incredible day, a heavy
• 1:17
Speaker 3: and hard and sad day, visiting the sight of the
• 1:21
Speaker 3: music festival, meeting with survivors, going to the kibbutz that
• 1:25
Speaker 3: were attacked by Hamas and the children that were murdered,
• 1:29
Speaker 3: talking to their family members, including victims young as nine
• 1:33
Speaker 3: months old that were killed for sport. I was able
• 1:36
Speaker 3: to go to a military base that was overrun right
• 1:38
Speaker 3: at the border with Gaza and the girls that were
• 1:41
Speaker 3: killed and raped for sport, all because they were Jewish.
• 1:45

• 3:38
Speaker 3: tell you those stories today. It's the forty seven Morning
• 3:41
Speaker 3: Update and it starts from Israel right.
• 3:44
Speaker 2: Now, story number one.
• 3:46
Speaker 3: I want to just take a moment to give you
• 3:49
Speaker 3: a recap of what I have witnessed in the last
• 3:52
Speaker 3: twenty four hours as I have been in Israel, and
• 3:55
Speaker 3: I can tell you that not only is Israel an
• 3:58
Speaker 3: incredible name, but I would encourage all of you to
• 4:02
Speaker 3: do a pilgrimage and to witness what life is like
• 4:05
Speaker 3: in Israel. I was blessed to be able to do
• 4:08
Speaker 3: some incredibly hard things over the last twenty four hours.
• 4:12
Speaker 3: And this is not normally what this show sounds like.
• 4:15
Speaker 3: But I'm so thankful that I have the opportunity to
• 4:18
Speaker 3: be for many of you your eyes here on the ground.
• 4:21
Speaker 3: I've been able to travel to the north, to the
• 4:24
Speaker 3: border with Syria and Lebanon. I've been able to see
• 4:27
Speaker 3: where Hesba Lah attacks from. I've been able to tour
• 4:31
Speaker 3: the wreckage in the neighborhoods that were hit. I've been
• 4:34
Speaker 3: able to sit with the victims and tell their stories
• 4:37
Speaker 3: to you. I also have gone to the complete opposite
• 4:41
Speaker 3: side to the west. I've been able to go and
• 4:44
Speaker 3: see the kibbutz that were attacked where families were slaughtered into,
• 4:49
Speaker 3: including seeing the home where those nine month old little
• 4:52
Speaker 3: children that were taken and killed by Hamas happened. I
• 4:58
Speaker 3: was able to meet with the victims and go to
• 5:00
Speaker 3: the side of the horrific attacks at the music festival
• 5:04
Speaker 3: where friends gathered just to dance and they were brutally
• 5:08
Speaker 3: murdered and taken hostage and raped by the radicals of Hamas.
• 5:13
Speaker 3: I went to the playgrounds where children were bombed, met
• 5:17
Speaker 3: with the families where children were killed playing soccer, and
• 5:20
Speaker 3: also met on the military base that was overrun at
• 5:24
Speaker 3: the border with the West Bank, where girls were raped
• 5:27
Speaker 3: and then shot and executed who served in the Israeli army.
• 5:31
Speaker 3: What I have witnessed is pure evil. What I have
• 5:34
Speaker 3: walked through in the homes is pure evil. They came
• 5:39
Speaker 3: from a group of terrorists who are soulless and their
• 5:42
Speaker 3: only objective was to kill Jews. I want to start
• 5:46
Speaker 3: by going to the tour of the kibbutz because it
• 5:49
Speaker 3: was the hardest place I think I've ever been. The
• 5:52
Speaker 3: hardest thing I've ever witnessed to go into what is
• 5:55
Speaker 3: a neighborhood that would remind you of your neighborhood or
• 5:59
Speaker 3: the neighborhood where you grew up as a kid. Maybe
• 6:01
Speaker 3: it was a genuine community, a community of families, by
• 6:05
Speaker 3: the way, many of them that were related to one another,
• 6:08
Speaker 3: where grandparents would live in one home, where grandkids and
• 6:11
Speaker 3: their and their children live in another home, where aunts
• 6:14
Speaker 3: and uncles may be down the street, where cousins played.
• 6:17
Speaker 3: I mean, when I'm talking about community, I'm talking about
• 6:19
Speaker 3: a tight knit community where they worked together. And as
• 6:23
Speaker 3: I met with the victims who were there, who toured
• 6:26
Speaker 3: and showed me their homes, told me how they survived
• 6:29
Speaker 3: and how their family members, many of them were killed.
• 6:31
Speaker 3: There was one constant theme, and that was a theme
• 6:35
Speaker 3: that these people came and they didn't care who they killed.
• 6:39
Speaker 3: They just wanted to say I killed a Jew. I
• 6:42
Speaker 3: sat in front of the house where those nine month
• 6:45
Speaker 3: old children were taken. You may have seen that video
• 6:48
Speaker 3: that went viral of a mother clinging to these two children,
• 6:51
Speaker 3: these two newborns, young children, one of them I mean
• 6:54
Speaker 3: nine months old, and hearing the story of how they
• 6:57
Speaker 3: were taken and how the father was taken well, he
• 7:00
Speaker 3: came out to fight. He actually talked to his wife
• 7:03
Speaker 3: and he said, are we fighting or are we going
• 7:05
Speaker 3: to give up? And she said, we fight. In other words,
• 7:08
Speaker 3: we're going to try to survive by not fighting? Are
• 7:10
Speaker 3: we going to try to survive by fighting? And he
• 7:12
Speaker 3: went out of the house and he had a handgun
• 7:15
Speaker 3: which was no match for the literally, at one point
• 7:19
Speaker 3: hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of fighters that came across
• 7:23
Speaker 3: the border from Gaza, and he was taken by the
• 7:27
Speaker 3: terrace and many others were slaughtered there. Many of the
• 7:30
Speaker 3: children were shot and killed, and the families were shot
• 7:33
Speaker 3: and killed in front of the door. They're safe, their
• 7:37
Speaker 3: bomb shelter, their safe room in their homes. One of
• 7:39
Speaker 3: the things that was interesting about these safe rooms, and
• 7:42
Speaker 3: every house had a safe room, because you're so close
• 7:44
Speaker 3: to the border and there's so many bombings that happened,
• 7:47
Speaker 3: is that most of the people did not have a
• 7:49
Speaker 3: lock on the inside of their safe room, which for
• 7:53
Speaker 3: many of them became death rooms. And you may say
• 7:55
Speaker 3: to yourself, why would you not have a lock on
• 7:57
Speaker 3: your safe room? And I was the question that I asked.
• 7:59
Speaker 3: He said, because these rooms were designed to keep us
• 8:02
Speaker 3: safe from bombs that were exploding in shrapnel, and you
• 8:05
Speaker 3: didn't lock them on purpose, because if your home did
• 8:08
Speaker 3: get hit the then others would need to come in
• 8:10
Speaker 3: and drag you out, hopefully to safety, to try to
• 8:13
Speaker 3: save your life. The room was only created to help
• 8:17
Speaker 3: protect you from a bomb that came in constantly from
• 8:21
Speaker 3: the terrace organization. Hamas is backed by Iran, and so
• 8:25
Speaker 3: the majority of people in these kibbutz did not have
• 8:29
Speaker 3: a simple latch to keep that door shut. One of
• 8:32
Speaker 3: the men that was one of the survivors was shut
• 8:34
Speaker 3: and he was saving his family's life, and he was
• 8:37
Speaker 3: sitting beside the door having to hold the door shut.
• 8:40
Speaker 3: Is on the other side of the door. The terrorists
• 8:41
Speaker 3: are trying to kill him. There were many family members
• 8:45
Speaker 3: that were killed that were holding the door shut from
• 8:48
Speaker 3: the terrace on the other side, and eventually they just
• 8:50
Speaker 3: used their machine guns to just put constant bullets through
• 8:54
Speaker 3: the door and they would kill the family that was
• 8:56
Speaker 3: protecting the children, and then in many scenarios, they would
• 8:59
Speaker 3: just set the house on fire and burn the children alive.
• 9:02
Speaker 3: I want you to think about what I just said.
• 9:04
Speaker 3: Imagine your neighborhood every house being invaded systematically, door to door.
• 9:09
Speaker 3: You're either drug out to the street and killed. You
• 9:12
Speaker 3: try to fight back against hundreds of invaders, which you're
• 9:16
Speaker 3: not going to win, or you're burned alive and your
• 9:19
Speaker 3: children are burned alive, or you're taken hostage. That is
• 9:23
Speaker 3: all because they were Jewish. Walking through this kibbutz, looking
• 9:26
Speaker 3: at the pictures that were put at the front of
• 9:28
Speaker 3: each house of who lived in that house, it was
• 9:31
Speaker 3: heartbreak seeing how the place had been in essence left
• 9:35
Speaker 3: exactly how it was on that day, Seeing the bicycles
• 9:39
Speaker 3: leaning up against the homes, seeing the tricycles that were
• 9:43
Speaker 3: pushed over outside the front door where you would leave
• 9:46
Speaker 3: most outside toys, seeing the basketball goals and the basketballs
• 9:49
Speaker 3: that had not moved since the day these people were slaughtered.
• 9:52
Speaker 3: And going into the homes and seeing where these people
• 9:56
Speaker 3: took their last breast, where they lost their lives, and
• 9:59
Speaker 3: knowing what they might have felt looking at the bullet
• 10:01
Speaker 3: holes coming through the doors of their safe rooms that
• 10:04
Speaker 3: were supposed to keep them safe from bombs, and the
• 10:06
Speaker 3: kibbutz that I went into, the worst part about it
• 10:09
Speaker 3: was that nobody came to save them from the military
• 10:12
Speaker 3: that the one kibbutz where the military didn't show up.
• 10:15
Speaker 3: Now you may ask yourself why it was a question
• 10:17
Speaker 3: I did, like, how is that even possible? And what
• 10:19
Speaker 3: I found out from going to a military base that
• 10:22
Speaker 3: was also overrun and the girls there went to their
• 10:26
Speaker 3: safe room. That was six in the morning. There was
• 10:29
Speaker 3: thirty to forty girls who were serving in their military
• 10:32
Speaker 3: and only four of them were armed because they were
• 10:34
Speaker 3: woken up by the attack and they were overrun by
• 10:38
Speaker 3: Terrists on their base. They didn't have time to get
• 10:41
Speaker 3: into their uniforms or even grab their guns, so there
• 10:45
Speaker 3: was only four of them that were armed, and they
• 10:47
Speaker 3: were huddled down and they were hiding trying to save
• 10:50
Speaker 3: their lives on their own military base. So they could
• 10:53
Speaker 3: have never imagined was going to happen. And many of
• 10:55
Speaker 3: their commanders had already been killed outside trying to defend
• 10:58
Speaker 3: the base. They were being overrun. And so what I
• 10:59
Speaker 3: want learned was a is the majority of people that
• 11:01
Speaker 3: were higher up in the military in Israel were killed
• 11:05
Speaker 3: in the first hour of the attack, and so then
• 11:08
Speaker 3: chaos erupted because no one was giving orders anymore, because
• 11:11
Speaker 3: everyone that had the ability to give orders had died. Now,
• 11:14
Speaker 3: something that's interesting about Israel is a little bit different
• 11:17
Speaker 3: than our military is the commanders are always the highest
• 11:21
Speaker 3: rank at the front, leading the charge. They do not
• 11:24
Speaker 3: stay back to give orders, and so the entire seniority
• 11:29
Speaker 3: of the military and Israel was just decimated during this attack.
• 11:34
Speaker 3: So some of the military that was trying to respond
• 11:37
Speaker 3: to this cabolts took fire before they could even get
• 11:40
Speaker 3: close to it from another conflict in other warriors that
• 11:44
Speaker 3: invaded the country. It wasn't that they didn't try to
• 11:46
Speaker 3: come as because they literally couldn't because they were then
• 11:49
Speaker 3: under attack and engage the tariffs, and many of them
• 11:51
Speaker 3: were dying as well. But what I witnessed on the
• 11:54
Speaker 3: military base was so horrific because the military command center
• 11:59
Speaker 3: where the girls were in side trying to get help
• 12:02
Speaker 3: and talking and explained that they were under attack and
• 12:04
Speaker 3: then the base had been infiltrated. The people they were
• 12:06
Speaker 3: talking to had already been killed outside of the base,
• 12:09
Speaker 3: and what the terrorists did is they burned them alive.
• 12:11
Speaker 3: One of the young girls that did survive the attack
• 12:13
Speaker 3: talk to me about her two friends that were found
• 12:16
Speaker 3: clinging to one another's they burned alive in the military
• 12:19
Speaker 3: command center. She also told the story of how when
• 12:22
Speaker 3: the terrorists found the young soldiers, there were eighteen years
• 12:25
Speaker 3: old girls in the shelter. They started to grin and
• 12:29
Speaker 3: started to chant a la akbar Allah akbar because they
• 12:32
Speaker 3: knew that they had found them and then they could
• 12:35
Speaker 3: massacre them. They then turned their guns on these girls
• 12:38
Speaker 3: all in the shelter and just started executing them. The
• 12:41
Speaker 3: four girls that had guns shot back. They then retreated
• 12:45
Speaker 3: a little bit and then started to throw in hand
• 12:46
Speaker 3: grenades to blow them up. The majority of these girls
• 12:49
Speaker 3: were in their pajamas. Why were they being killed because
• 12:52
Speaker 3: of one reason, they were Jewish. They were Jewish. They
• 12:55
Speaker 3: then went room to room on the base and they
• 12:57
Speaker 3: separate the bases with women bases and men based in
• 13:00
Speaker 3: the military, and women serve in the military. Everybody in
• 13:02
Speaker 3: Israel that's a citizen in essence serves two years in
• 13:06
Speaker 3: the military. It's truly incredible. And they would find girls
• 13:09
Speaker 3: and they would take them out. They would then rape them.
• 13:11
Speaker 3: The other girls that were hiding could hear the rapes happening,
• 13:14
Speaker 3: and then they would hear the gunshots. After they'd raped
• 13:17
Speaker 3: the girl. They would then shoot the girls and kill
• 13:19
Speaker 3: them and leave them outside of their rooms dead. And
• 13:22
Speaker 3: this happened for hours. It's no different than what happened
• 13:25
Speaker 3: at the festival where I also went and met with
• 13:29
Speaker 3: a survivor, a man, a young boy and his upper
• 13:33
Speaker 3: teens who went with ten of his friends and only
• 13:36
Speaker 3: I think he said, three of them survived. Why were
• 13:39
Speaker 3: they killed going to a music festival because they were Jewish?
• 13:42
Speaker 3: They were killed by Hamas because Hamas wants to kill
• 13:45
Speaker 3: and exterminate every Jew from the river to the sea.
• 13:48
Speaker 3: They were in the middle of basically nowhere, at this
• 13:50
Speaker 3: music festival, a beautiful area with trees. They were there
• 13:53
Speaker 3: to dance and celebrate with their friends. They were at
• 13:56
Speaker 3: a music festival to love one another and to joy
• 14:00
Speaker 3: a great day of music. And he said that when
• 14:03
Speaker 3: the red alert went off, which if you'rre Israeli you
• 14:05
Speaker 3: have on your phone, they thought it was just going
• 14:08
Speaker 3: to be bombs that happened. Many people went to run
• 14:11
Speaker 3: to safety, to some of the bomb shelters, and that
• 14:14
Speaker 3: ended up being where they were slaughtered, because as soon
• 14:17
Speaker 3: as the terrace got there, they would just go in
• 14:19
Speaker 3: and they would open the door and they would throw
• 14:21
Speaker 3: a grenade, or they would just slaughter them. There was
• 14:23
Speaker 3: also nowhere to really hide. I want you to understand this.
• 14:26
Speaker 3: The trees at the festival are very skinny. They remind
• 14:29
Speaker 3: me of like a small branch tree in America. There's
• 14:34
Speaker 3: not a big trunk like oaks or larger trees. These
• 14:40
Speaker 3: are like crape myrtles, is the best way I can
• 14:42
Speaker 3: describe it. There's no protection there, and you have people
• 14:46
Speaker 3: that are paratrooping in. You have people arriving in cars,
• 14:49
Speaker 3: you have people arriving on motorcycles, and they're just mowing
• 14:52
Speaker 3: you down. You look at the hundreds and hundreds of
• 14:55
Speaker 3: pictures and I put some of this on social media.
• 14:58
Speaker 3: They were slaughtered. They're almost all young. They were all
• 15:00
Speaker 3: there with their friends, and there was nowhere to hide.
• 15:03
Speaker 3: There was the famous bar that was there where you
• 15:05
Speaker 3: could go and buy a drink at like any music festival.
• 15:08
Speaker 3: You know what they look like. They're kind of square.
• 15:10
Speaker 3: They got a little fence. You go in, you get
• 15:11
Speaker 3: something to drink, you go back to the concert. It
• 15:13
Speaker 3: was the prime place where people would think to go
• 15:16
Speaker 3: for shelter. And when the Jihadis got there, when Hamask
• 15:20
Speaker 3: got there, they looked at the people hiding, holding each
• 15:22
Speaker 3: other and they just mowed them down for sport while
• 15:26
Speaker 3: they were chanting and smiling, because they knew they were
• 15:29
Speaker 3: going to get to kill so many Jews, and the
• 15:31
Speaker 3: plan worked. I am going to have more to say
• 15:33
Speaker 3: on this in the future, but what I can tell
• 15:36
Speaker 3: you is this is evil at a level that I
• 15:40
Speaker 3: the only way I can describe it is satanic. I
• 15:42
Speaker 3: am so sad for the people that lost their lives.
• 15:45
Speaker 3: I now know their faces, I now know their stories.
• 15:48
Speaker 3: I hope to continue to tell them to you. But
• 15:50
Speaker 3: whether it's the kids that were killed playing soccer, whether
• 15:53
Speaker 3: it's the kids going to a music festival, whether it's
• 15:56
Speaker 3: a nine month the old child who's taken hostage for
• 15:59
Speaker 3: propaganda from Humam and the mother who the mother and
• 16:02
Speaker 3: the two small children who couldn't defend themselves were killed,
• 16:05
Speaker 3: whether it was the older men that were in their
• 16:07
Speaker 3: eighties and nineties that couldn't even get out of their
• 16:09
Speaker 3: houses that were burned alive for sport, or the girls
• 16:12
Speaker 3: on the bases that were burned alive for sport on
• 16:15
Speaker 3: the military base, or were raped in front of their
• 16:17
Speaker 3: friends and then shot four times in the back. What
• 16:20
Speaker 3: I can tell you is the entire country of Israel
• 16:22
Speaker 3: is the enemy of the state, and these attacks came
• 16:26
Speaker 3: from Gaza. How would you live next to people that
• 16:29
Speaker 3: plan and do this and celebrate this. Remember, they were
• 16:33
Speaker 3: calling home the tech. We have the audio and the
• 16:35
Speaker 3: text messages of them calling home, going dad, mom, telling
• 16:38
  Speaker 3: their parents I killed a Jew. I killed a Jew,
• 16:41
Speaker 3: and the dad and the parents are telling the child
• 16:43
Speaker 3: how proud they are they just went to kill a
• 16:45
Speaker 3: random Jew. This is my generation's Holocaust, and it's being whitewashed.
• 16:50
Speaker 3: And the scary part is the rise of anti Semitism
• 16:53
Speaker 3: in the US has skyrocketed as well. Israel is our
• 16:56
Speaker 3: ally for a reason. We can debate if they get
• 16:59
Speaker 3: it all right. By the way, the police officers that
• 17:01
Speaker 3: I met with who were over on, who are also killed,
• 17:04
Speaker 3: who told their stories, said that Israel doesn't always get
• 17:06
Speaker 3: it right. In fact, they have lots of criticism of
• 17:09
Speaker 3: their government for how wrong they got it on the
• 17:11
Speaker 3: October seventh surprise, and how there was major failures in
• 17:15
Speaker 3: their government to not know this was going to happen.
• 17:18
Speaker 3: But I have met so many brave men and women
• 17:21
Speaker 3: citizens who put on a uniform and have fought to
• 17:23
Speaker 3: defend their country for the last two years and live
• 17:26
Speaker 3: in a constant state of alertness, where sirens going off
• 17:30
Speaker 3: and bombs going off as normal. And to see what
• 17:33
Speaker 3: they live, how they live is truly remarkable because they
• 17:37
Speaker 3: want to be safe as Jews and this is the
• 17:39
Speaker 3: only place in the Middle East where they feel like
• 17:41
Speaker 3: they can be safe. God bless them. I'll keep their
• 17:44
Speaker 3: stories alive. I'll tell you more stories moving forward. We'll
• 17:48
Speaker 3: get back to the biggest stories coming out of the
• 17:49
Speaker 3: White House and politics in America. But this was important
• 17:52
Speaker 3: for me to take a moment and just tell you
• 17:54
  Speaker 3: what I saw.
