- 0:00Because Fuck You That's Why is a founding member of the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:36Hello, and welcome to Because Fuck You That's Why. Episode number one
- 0:41ninety four. Who Yes, Sir cra Jezus just six climbing ever away from
- 0:48episode two hundreds. Oh crazy, We're almost there. Yeah this close.
- 0:52Yeah, So we're going to take this opportunity, such as it is,
- 0:55to relax a little bit. Uh my god, Holy have we been working
- 1:00hard in the best ways possible. I mean yeah, yeah, I mean
- 1:06we did one convention. We got two weeks worth of podcast out of it.
- 1:08I feel pretty good about that. The experience was so dreaming, Yes,
- 1:15yes, that like literally I feel like I've been paralyzed the last couple
- 1:19of weeks, just kind of like going through the motions of just getting through
- 1:23the day and then so on and so forth. And but this week has
- 1:27been much better. But I definitely still felt the need to take a chill
- 1:34show and not not go out of my way to produce anything. Sorry,
- 1:38listener, I hope you still enjoy us just chilling and talking about shit.
- 1:45A listener, the solo listener one, you are the only person listening to
- 1:49our podcast, and I thank you. For it because damn it be lonely
- 1:57out here myself. So, uh, if you have missed the last couple
- 2:04of episodes, Wow, were they right? Yes, we went to lil
- 2:08Con in in uh in Lockport, New York, the the best western uh
- 2:14plus there held the plus plus. I didn't really notice the plus part.
- 2:20Yeah, the Wi Fi was excellent. That was the plus. Yes,
- 2:23the Wi Fi was Wi Fi was incredible, so much so that Jack attech
- 2:29d X was able to stream his games live and still like from a hotel
- 2:34Wi Fi you would not think that would be possible. Oh yeah, Like
- 2:37and the next day there was like someone else who was like shoutcasting something too
- 2:40over live stream. It was nuts. Why, I'm like, how can
- 2:44you do this in a hotel? Incredible? So that's good to upgraded something.
- 2:49So yeah, they definitely plus something. It was something. But yeah,
- 2:53litl Con dude, it was cool. I I I really did enjoy
- 2:55it. Like it was nice to get out and to eat into a convention
- 3:00again, I said, instead of just jumping into like one of those big
- 3:04ones like we're used to going to back in the day. Because I'm like
- 3:07thinking about MAGFest. I know we're probably talking about this later, like in
- 3:09the future, we're going to MAGFest and I'm like, this would be great.
- 3:13That's a lot of fucking people, and I'm like, oh yeah,
- 3:15so it's nice to do something a little scaled down, a little bit long
- 3:21gone are the days of Anime North and Yomacon. There was no way we
- 3:25could ever like deep dive into another large convention like that, especially not something
- 3:31like MAGFest, which is even larger, I would assume. But that was
- 3:36a nice dip, I would say, a nice little test of the waters.
- 3:42I agree, yeah, and I think it went extremely well. I'm
- 3:46thoroughly pleased with how it played out. The episode turned out better than I
- 3:50expected me too, given on the day, Oh my god, yeah,
- 3:53today, with all the technical issues that we had, I was fairly convinced
- 3:57that we were like wasting everybody's time. We started to minutes late for starters.
- 4:01I had to rush through like all the rounds pretty much like Gangbusters,
- 4:06no breaks, Like you had breaks set up like so I could. Yeah,
- 4:10so we could. I had breaks set up so that we could do
- 4:13the thing, but it just wound up not happening, Like we just did
- 4:16not have time to actually break, So we just kept busting through it,
- 4:23and there were still some technical issues with the with the recording. I like
- 4:28how it turned out. I was fairly pleased with it. Uh And on
- 4:30the day, like like we said before we started, the audience was getting
- 4:34into it, having fun. They were having fun, and I'm like,
- 4:36yes, this is exactly what I wanted. It was fantastic. So if
- 4:42if we'd had a little more time to prepare, yes, a little bit
- 4:46would have been that much more incredible, and we could have relaxed a little
- 4:49bit and it would have been I think a much, it would have been
- 4:53a better show. But as it was, we still turned out something pretty
- 4:56incredible. Yeah, yeah, I agree, Yeah, no, went it
- 5:00went fantastically well, and I'm so thrilled with it. I'm stupid happy with
- 5:03what came out, because I mean I was a little worried. I was
- 5:06worried about both recordings, honestly, because that was the first time we used
- 5:11just the hand recorder as its own mixer. Yeah, and we just had
- 5:15that nothing else, no oder interface, and we recorded next to a band
- 5:18it was playing. I was gonna say, I was gonna mention that I'm
- 5:21like, I was genuinely impressed with the fact that our mics. Yeah yeah,
- 5:28yeah, I was like I was, I was convinced, like it
- 5:31was gonna be impossible to hear us me too, but like, holy crap,
- 5:38it was over two hours of that recording. Yeah ship, Yeah it
- 5:42sounded good. I was like if I mentioned it multiple times in the other
- 5:46recordings. It is Glitch, the video game band. You can find them
- 5:50on Facebook. Mostly they were phenomenal, Like they were great, like I
- 5:55would agree, Yeah, they played some great turns. Oh yeah, I
- 5:59mean to hear it, fantastic electric jazz remixes of old school, Like it
- 6:03was just so impressive. It was. I love that ship and it really
- 6:06did like boost the mood of the entire convention for me too, is having
- 6:12them there while we were just chilling, like just hanging out at a table.
- 6:15Like it was cool. Absolutely, and I'm glad that we didn't have
- 6:18to go into like the vendor area with their tables and shit, because they
- 6:23look cramped as fuck. Man. Yeah, like no walked through. That
- 6:27would have been that would have been a living night. Yeah, it was
- 6:30hot in there, and anyone the two times I went in there, like
- 6:33I got stuck, like there was a blockage at one particular, like there's
- 6:38like one popular vendor and like everybody stops there, and so there's like a
- 6:42line curling around of people just waiting to get fucking through. You can't move
- 6:47because everybody's blocking the fucking like. Yeah, it was irritating. I don't
- 6:50like that. Like, if you've ever gone to a convention, most vendor
- 6:54areas are either put into like I know, like an Anime North there was
- 6:58like a huge warehouse area. Yeah, seeming MAGFest is huge. There's plenty
- 7:03of room. You might occasionally need to like squeeze by somebody. Sorry,
- 7:06but I've never seen like a full blockage before that's out of the way enough
- 7:12to like the panels and everything, and I think, yeah, and like
- 7:15Yoma CON's like Swag area too is a fairly large hall, you know,
- 7:20at least like this play this. Unfortunately, this hall was just really small.
- 7:27Yeah, it's just it wasn't a whole lot of space to begin with,
- 7:30and then on top of that, it did feel like the ceilings were
- 7:32a lot lower than they should have been. I don't know about that,
- 7:36but it's just meant to be a damn ballroom, not not necessarily like a
- 7:41warehouse, but right but for the venue, I think the con went very
- 7:46well. There was a lot of cosplay. I jumped onto the sites afterwards
- 7:49and there's a lot of pictures and stuff including us on their site, which
- 7:53was pretty cool. Yeah, I just felt like there wasn't as much to
- 7:58do this time around. Maybe it's just me, but like it just if
- 8:01I had criticisms about Lil Conn, it would be like the video game room
- 8:05was kind of a kneemic. Yeah, I'll give you that be a little
- 8:07bit. Like there were like a few systems and there was like a couple
- 8:11of indie games showing off there, which was cool, but like I walked
- 8:15in, looked around, and walked out, like it just kind of okay,
- 8:22a couple of neat It's kind of cool this is here. But you
- 8:26know, when I go to a video game convention, I kind of expect
- 8:30more. It reminded me of that bar we went to in Vegas. Yeah,
- 8:35with all the video that was better though, Yeah, because it's just
- 8:39what I was saying, it was. It was kind of set up like
- 8:41that where everything was just kind of like had their own stations, go and
- 8:46sit down, and I did like they had Tank Wars there, that game
- 8:48before Atari. I can't remember that thing. It was like the it look
- 8:50like every boat was your controller because we had that. Because I saw that,
- 8:54like it just like jogged the memory. I'm like, oh my god,
- 8:58I played this game of my father when I was like a fucking baby.
- 9:03I remember this ship. It was so insane. I tell you my
- 9:07favorite game. The play that I was playing while we were there, though,
- 9:11was my game with Stevie, which was is that a Pokemon or a
- 9:13Furry? I kept getting confused almost like, hey, Ogie, is that
- 9:22a Pokemon? Like, no, Steve, that's a furry, And like,
- 9:26well, like not even an hour later, someone else goes by in
- 9:28another costume, like, oh, hey Ogi, that's that's that's a Fury.
- 9:31Like no, Steve, that's a They all look the same. It's
- 9:37so funny. It's hard to tell it. Like I've heard almost any Pokemon
- 9:41into a free you could just put a T shirt. I don't know if
- 9:46they consider it the same, but I don't, but no, probably not.
- 9:52Yeah, No, it was wild. The board game room had a
- 9:54little bit more going on. Yeah, the board game room is actually solid.
- 9:58I was like the board game room in the air was like the one
- 10:01in MAGFest is only slightly larger and would only have a slightly better collection to
- 10:05choose from. Like I thought the boardgraming room was really well done. It
- 10:09was Yeah, no, it was. It was really solid and I saw
- 10:13a lot of cool games in there. Picked up some some cards from people
- 10:18who were you gonna have kickstarters and whatnot, and I was nice, definite
- 10:22gonna look into We got some promos. Dude came to us for what it's
- 10:28called not with school orthing like that is it which's quest or something? Which
- 10:33is which is which is dual? What's called? But I have the cards
- 10:37at home, and I was like, these look kind of cool. There
- 10:41looks bad. We got some rare we got in their little con exclusive cards
- 10:45too, Like some of them you can only get by getting to this Convention's
- 10:48pretty neat, which is guild, which is guilt. Yeah, these things
- 10:52are freaking bad one. Yeah the ones, these are the little exclusive ones.
- 10:56Yeah, the art looks fun. But it looks like you actually like
- 11:00attack and defend with dice, which I'm like, I don't know about that.
- 11:05I mean, I guess we'll see. You know, I have no
- 11:07idea how the game actually plays, so ORNs and ship fucking rabbit Pegasus,
- 11:15the mouthings, the fire breathing Pegasus, Like the rabbit Pegasus has got swirls.
- 11:20It's awesome, Like holy crap, it's really nice that Pegas is gone.
- 11:28So yeah, So there was a lot of cool game things going on
- 11:30there, and of course there was the the main event room where a lot
- 11:35of the cool things happened. My writer's panel went across pretty well. I
- 11:39think that we're done very well for not being ready to moderate. Oh my
- 11:46god, dude, like we I wish I was there sooner because then I'm
- 11:50like, oh man, if we were there sooner, we could have just
- 11:52done it for you. You guys could have jumped in and moderated way better.
- 11:58The questions I had I wrote found questions because I was like, if
- 12:01nobody has questions, I want to be the professional one at least to ask
- 12:03questions. You guys keep going, you know. So I wrote down to
- 12:05questions. You answered them right the funk away, and I'm just like,
- 12:09well, well, it just means we think along the same one. I
- 12:11mean, yeah, you know, we've been I just asked for questions.
- 12:15Best friends for how long? Like not a surprise that we started to think
- 12:18so, I just I was just throwing anything out there for you. I'm
- 12:22like, I'm like, okay, let's get this ball rolling that get people
- 12:24to start asking questions. That was awesome, dude, Like seriously, you
- 12:28did a phenomenal job, like going through You were up there with three other
- 12:31authors, Yeah, all of whom had the same social anxiety as me,
- 12:37So like, oh fucking christ, I was there. Honestly, that them
- 12:45all genuinely would have been the most awkward panel ever. Lou like I talked
- 12:50to him afterwards. Lou Paduano is easily the most uh experienced author because it's
- 12:58like sixteen or something. She's got a ton of books out. He's got
- 13:01like or something like that. He's written a lot of books. And I
- 13:05read the first one of his DSA series was kind of like an X Files
- 13:09analog. It's really good. I really dug it. So like I was
- 13:16jazzed to meet this guy and talk to him. He is so soft spoken
- 13:22and just kind of a little nervy, like, uh, yeah, no,
- 13:26here's my book, you know, And he signed it for me and
- 13:30he's like, do you have a book for me, I'll buy it from
- 13:31you. I'm like, oh, dude, you were the sweetest dude.
- 13:35He seemed like he was really like, how did you marry someone and then
- 13:41have kids? Or is this what happened as a result of you getting married?
- 13:46Because he was so like, he is genuine he is genuinely sweet dude.
- 13:56But some like if he if he'd been up there without me, he
- 13:58would have been like frozen, my god still, and they handed him the
- 14:01microphone like here you go. Yeah, and if we would have known that,
- 14:07we would have been there. But it's great that it worked out the
- 14:09way it did. It's so funny. The other guys were pretty cool too,
- 14:13Hugh j O'Donnell. He's an interesting writer. He writes like one hundred
- 14:18word stories. Yeah, And at first I was like, I don't know
- 14:22how I feel about Like that just sounds like a ridiculously short like a like
- 14:28a Twitter generation writer, like you know, he just just writes stories and
- 14:31tweets, you know, something like that. But I read his collection of
- 14:39short stories called The City. Uh, and it's it's it's it's got a
- 14:43subtitle. It's like, uh, you know, a story told in one
- 14:48hundred and forty characters. I'm like, oh, these are all going to
- 14:50be tweets. No, it's one hundred and forty stories written from a perspective
- 14:56of a different character for each story, and between them all as it goes
- 15:01along. No, as it goes along, it fills in this overarching story
- 15:05about this online city. Oh cool, that is like kind of breaking down
- 15:13and falling apart, and it's it's really well done. Like I was genuinely
- 15:18impressed, and I gave him like a five star review and Goodreads because I
- 15:22was so like, Damn, this is better than I expected. They're all
- 15:26like short, little one hundred word stories, but between one hundred and forty
- 15:30one hundred word stories, you actually get a full, interesting story, and
- 15:33it's it's it's just fascinating having read it, like this was way better than
- 15:39I expected, and it's it's really well done. So it's dude, dude
- 15:45is solid, knows what he's on about. He's got a weird niche.
- 15:48But I definitely hope people are paying attention to that. And it's because Damn,
- 15:52that was not bad. I have another book of his, The Mountain
- 15:54Shadow, that I have yet to read, but I hope it's like more
- 15:56of the same, Like that was really good stuff. That's a cool concept
- 16:00though. I like that. Yeah, like you said the same thing too.
- 16:07I was thinking hundred forty characters, like, oh, you tell just
- 16:08a short story. I was not thinking no different, cool, that's fascinating
- 16:18and it was a good read, so yeah, I recommend checking that out.
- 16:21It was pretty cheap and like seven bucks for a for a paperback.
- 16:26Uh. And the final writer was a gentleman named I think Ben Sherman uh
- 16:30and he wrote He's got a very strange niche as well. He writes like
- 16:37fantasy, but almost like I want to say, free fantasy almost like his
- 16:44characters, at least the ones on the cover are anthropomorphic animals. Yeah,
- 16:48okay, like but you know, we're like human clothes and stuff and it.
- 16:52But here's the thing, Like it's it's not like a fantasy like adventure.
- 16:56It's just like a story. Hold it in a fantasy world, Like
- 17:02it's out there fantasy like something that you wouldn't normally like a slice of life.
- 17:06No, yeah, like like a slice of life story in a mediate
- 17:10Okay, So it's it's kind of interesting. Like I've never like whenever anyone
- 17:14says fantasy, I immediately think like swords and heroes, casting spells and ship.
- 17:21But you know the idea of having this high fantasy setting and just having
- 17:26people like talking and going about their day. I'm like, how interesting can
- 17:30this be? But I saw the cover and I'm like, it's anthropmover animals.
- 17:33So I'm like, okay, I did pick it up. I haven't
- 17:37read it yet, so I have no idea what adding into. You know,
- 17:41as funny as it is, that's kind of what we do in our
- 17:45D and D session. Yeah, I mean, I'm like we don't always,
- 17:48especially nowadays, a lot of times we kind of role play, not
- 17:52just as like for the combat, with more or less like live like homebody
- 17:56lives as well. So it's I can see where there's that interest. The
- 18:02appeal would be. Yeah, yeah, dude, if I had i'd be
- 18:04warm all the time. It'd be awesome. But no, I gotta wear
- 18:07hoodies all the time. Well, I haven't even gotten to like this week,
- 18:11like this is all still covering the con, but I feel like it's
- 18:15about time we should take a break. Yeah, all right, when we
- 18:18come back, we will get onto voicemails and comments, uh, and we
- 18:22will actually discuss what happened this week, and well we'll talk about that right
- 18:30after this. I'm Richie aka Midnight Agent Raw. I'm Devin aka Special Delivery
- 18:44Dev. We're the Supermediate Bros. Podcast and each week we give a comedically
- 18:48informative take on movies, music, television, pro wrestling, and much more.
- 18:53Check us out at Supermedia brospodcast dot com, Apple Podcasts, Spotify,
- 18:59or anywhere else that you can listen to podcasts shades on. We're off.
- 19:15Hey man, welcome back. Uh, it's time to check into our voicemails
- 19:19and or comments. What do we got today, fellas? We have both
- 19:22of those. We have voicemail, mail, voicemails, and or comments.
- 19:27My goodness, yeah, call me a tob Laron and shove me up your
- 19:33ass. What hold on hold on Toby Hello after the show? You know,
- 19:37hold on hold on Toby. That's my new pet name for my tober
- 19:45own boy. There's one time at band camp. Oh my god, let's
- 19:56start with the comments and then we'll go to voicemail and then mark comments.
- 20:00Okay, the laptops being a ship first comment, got it. So we
- 20:07actually got some comments from episode one, our quote unquote normal show. It
- 20:12was one of the first ones we did with video and stuff, which is
- 20:15really cool neat Yeah. Yeah. So the first comments from Kristin heck yeah,
- 20:21Christen, love you so much. Got to talk to her on Friday.
- 20:23I was on the Fink Show promoting stuff cool. Her and Jeremy and
- 20:26everybody was on there. So I think people too. Yes, Kristin commented,
- 20:33another wonderful show. Love the video so much fun to see your guys'
- 20:37facial expressions. Rules of the game was brutal, Aaron is an evil genius.
- 20:42Yeah, under it was crazy, always, always and forever. I
- 20:48want to know if anybody else got that or not besides us, because that
- 20:51was so hard. Apparently comments I recalled, man like that was really hard,
- 20:57and I was like, yeah, there was harder than I gauged.
- 21:00Yeah, you need to save those games for the professional game peoples. Another
- 21:06comment on the same video or the same video, Yeah from MESI video is
- 21:11great. Thanks guys, So you'll problem do video? Yeah yeah. Our
- 21:15third comment on the same video it was awesome my god. Yeah, Casey
- 21:21Smith. So she said, I like the auction style. Guessing for the
- 21:25cost is correct. I feel like I'd be better than the prices right style.
- 21:29Also, the last game had me shook two so creative. So see
- 21:34a compliment on your crazy hard game. You you broke everybody's brave. I
- 21:41literally broke everyone. Yeah, so I feel good about that. Yeah,
- 21:45exactly. Question, Uh, do you want to go onto our voicemails?
- 21:48As I tried to load up the next comments, Yeah, sure, let's
- 21:52see what we got here. Hello, been leaving any voicemails of reason?
- 22:03I missed you. Just been putting up in some long shifts. I'm just
- 22:08absolutely drained. Yeah, if I shout that much anyway, hopefully be leaving
- 22:15some more fun messages from now on. I'll speak to you soon. Bye,
- 22:22Colin, from you again, man, I'm glad you're doing well.
- 22:27Wait, he did say long shifts, right, I heard shifts? Oh
- 22:33okay, I thought he was just sending it spending extreme along. Go ahead,
- 22:37Stevie. We all know you said you were going to say you heard
- 22:41chefs. I've been putting in some extremely shifts. I bet you have always
- 22:48too, are they called Toby? I saw that look in his eyes and
- 22:52then the quick turn away as he went to go his laptop that's dying on
- 22:56him. I sent him that lapt up. That laptop was a ferr.
- 23:03It was a Beauty should still be doing them. No, I meant the
- 23:07one that has our following message, Yes, the one that's a Honda.
- 23:15Our next comment is Honda with a bullet hole. That's what that sounded.
- 23:26Our next comment on Patreon was from the early release episode of one Edibles with
- 23:30Aggie and Stevie. Oh my goodness, So this is the episode we actually
- 23:34did with Aaron and his at the past this palace, as we dubbed it,
- 23:38in my apartment. It's quote unquote apartment where we all did some Edibles.
- 23:45I took two Edibles because the first one didn't really do that much,
- 23:51and then the second one. Well, the results are on that episode.
- 23:55Yeah, mine kicked in as well through that recording. It was awesome.
- 24:04Kicks it. Oh man, I don't want to spoil it. I'll tell
- 24:10you what. We got one comment on that one that was from David McGinn.
- 24:12He said, I wish Edibles did more for me. Last Saturday.
- 24:15I did one twenty milligrams. Oh my god. Oh they got small bots.
- 24:22You are fucking kidding me. You got to be a hardcore, like
- 24:26drinking two beers, but longer lasting and a lot more expensive. Twelve hundred
- 24:33lot so like like ten milligrams knocks me on my ass, right, Jesus,
- 24:40I found that taking like a break, like even just for a couple
- 24:45of days can really help reset your tolerance. So you don't have to.
- 24:49It'll save you some weed. It's worth it's worth breaking it up so you're
- 24:55nuts. Yeah, constantly go on like it is a couple of days.
- 25:00Know, you don't have to do like. It's the same disturbating. Yes,
- 25:04if you do it too much or too often, you get desensitized to
- 25:07it, and it's it's just like it's harder and less fun, and it's
- 25:11always so fun. Take a break. You need to take like at least
- 25:15an hour between masturbation sessions. Oh my god, Yes, that was awesome.
- 25:26At least an hour. It's like swimming. Otherwise you'll get a masturbate
- 25:32an hour before swimming. Oh man, all right. Our next comment clutching
- 25:48his face, he's done. Our next comments on Show one ninety three Little
- 25:55Con Live Game Show. So this is an actual video we had coming up
- 25:57for it, and our comment is from Justin Brown. This was an excellent
- 26:03episode playing one of my favorite games. Now I just need to watch a
- 26:07ton more to see if I can find a pattern in the prize wheel.
- 26:11Yeah, man, and I didn't even think about that. Yeah. So
- 26:17you a copy of that video? Yeah, of course, yeah, because
- 26:21I I feel like we should send that off to MAGFest to show them it's
- 26:25on YouTube. Oh it is. I gave it to Patreon first, and
- 26:27then it actually released today on YouTube. So I haven't shared it yet,
- 26:32that's all. That's fine. Yeah, just let me know when it is
- 26:33and I'll send it to the MAGFest people say, hey, you should let
- 26:37us do a show at your cone. I'm sure this is incredibly confusing for
- 26:42everybody listening today, as in, like Saturday today, you're listening to this
- 26:48Thursday, unless you're in Patreon, in which case you're listening to it Tuesday.
- 26:53Tuesday? No, Ye, what year is that? What year is
- 27:02its wearing leaves? Right? We did have another new thing too, We
- 27:07got another patron back. They are William Mannus is back as our five dollars
- 27:12tier o. Thank you, thank you so much for coming back. Hell
- 27:18yeah, William, that's awesome. I hope you're enjoying all the fun new
- 27:22things that we've done. Yes, and they'll continue to do. There will
- 27:25be sadly, no video for this episode. Yeah, sadly the laptop is
- 27:30not behaving due to the laptop having way too many viruses from all the porn
- 27:34that's on it. I swear to god, I do not get viruses from
- 27:38actual porn. No, you don't. Not real porn. And it's an
- 27:45executable file, then that's on you because that's a look. And there are
- 27:51some crazy ass kinks out there, I'm sure, and some things just happened
- 27:56just by proxy, it is true. But that was all the comments we
- 28:02have for our patroons. Well yeah, yeah, cool, Thank you so
- 28:06much, patreons. We really appreciate you supporting the show of course as always,
- 28:11and you hope, we hope that you don't mind us just playing your
- 28:15reading your comments out and so forth. If you ever don't want us to
- 28:18do that, let us know. Yeah obviously, but those little bracket things
- 28:22and say don't post this, I'm like, okay, I'll stupid. But
- 28:29yeah, we absolutely adore you and thank you so much for supporting the show.
- 28:33And you too could get your comment or voicemail played light on the show.
- 28:38Just go ahead and go to our website by twpod dot com. You
- 28:42can there's a voicemail widget under the contact us section of the website allows you
- 28:48to leave a ninety second voicemail. You can do so from your computer,
- 28:51your phone, whatever works for you. Give access and yes, it's and
- 28:56if you'd like to leave a comment on one of ours that we might read,
- 29:00you could join our patreon that's patreon dot com slash b f y t
- 29:03W. Tiers start at two dollars still or have we gotten rid of that?
- 29:07We're we're on the way to getting rid of it. Correct. We're
- 29:10just going to do a single tier five dollars. If you want to give
- 29:11more than that, go right ahead. But you know that's fine. But
- 29:15we're just gonna have the solo tier because it doesn't seem like a lot of
- 29:18people are interested in the lower tier anyway. Yeah, just kind of feels
- 29:21like a waste of time and effort. So we're just gonna throw everything under
- 29:25the one thing and just making on ourselves. It felt like the lower tier
- 29:30was a little bit of a waste because you weren't really getting you weren't getting
- 29:33it anywhere near as much. You were just basically just throwing two bucks in,
- 29:37Yeah, which you could just do normally. Don can just know how
- 29:41lesser amount, just not get the tier. It's up to you. That's
- 29:45fine, but not to minimize it. But it just it's just it felt
- 29:48like all donations are appreciated and loved. We appreciate people who just listen,
- 29:52you know, so anything you do is to support the show is appreciated.
- 29:56Donations help our chair episode. Yes, yes, speaking which we have a
- 30:02bunch coming up and we're gonna take like two months off before we do another
- 30:04one after that. You don't can help with. That is a new BFY
- 30:08t W merch we got into Oh hell yeah, we have actually lunch now
- 30:11you can buy directly from us. So I'll be getting all that set up
- 30:15soon. Patreon will get the bump, they'll get the first bids on it,
- 30:19and probably a little discount on top of it. Cool. Yeah,
- 30:23and then we'll figure all that out. I'll probably have it set up.
- 30:26I'm hoping before Christmas. I'm hoping I can have it all step before then,
- 30:30so you can get your stuff ordered and hopefully ship before then. They'll
- 30:33guarantees on any of this, and then it'll go out to everybody else after
- 30:37that like a week after. That's cool. Heck, yeah, So that's
- 30:41that's the plan. We're gonna see where we're at with it. That is,
- 30:42that is hot. I dig that. That is very cool. And
- 30:45we gave away some cool stuff at the show. Yeah, gave away some
- 30:48flags. We gave away coffee mug, which is somebody want a coffee mug
- 30:52hydrate or diedrate hot coffee mug. Oh yeah, man, that was hot
- 30:56shit and I enjoyed that very much. I love it so yeah. So
- 31:00anyway, that covers us for the voicemails and comments and so forth. So
- 31:06back to just chilling and talking about our weeks. Cool cool? Do you
- 31:08want me to go first? Want to go for it? Man, we
- 31:11can talk about our stuff. Half my week this week was very It was
- 31:15much of a relaxation for the week before. The week before would have sucked
- 31:18if we'd done a if we'd done a chill show last week and just talked
- 31:21about the week that I had last week. Oh fucking hell. Thanksgiving.
- 31:26Thanksgiving sucked. Let me just put it that way. Thanksgiving sucked. I
- 31:32don't usually have an issue with Thanksgiving, but this time our family for whatever
- 31:37reason, uh, And I think part of it is because my parents are
- 31:40getting on in age and they don't. They don't want to do you know,
- 31:44the full turkey dinner anymore. I'm not set up to do it.
- 31:47I'm not set up to do it in my apartment, like, not even
- 31:48close. I could not manage something like that. It just would not happen.
- 31:53I don't even have a dining table, for God's say, you know,
- 31:57so that that kind of puts out the window for me and my brother
- 32:01and his partner, Jeff. They did it once, but for whatever reason,
- 32:08they couldn't do it this year. I think Jeff's been having some issues
- 32:12with this family. They've been having some health issues, so he's he's had
- 32:15to step in and help out, so he couldn't do it either. So
- 32:19we basically just went to a restaurant like the night before and got the turkey
- 32:22dinner. Oh okay, So I didn't really get a Thanksgiving this year,
- 32:27so I basically just you know, sat at home and didn't do anything.
- 32:30Just I wrote a lot. I fucking holy shit, have I put in
- 32:35the fucking work this week on writing. Like the good thing about this week
- 32:38is that, like like I said, Thanksgiving sucked, and getting past all
- 32:43of that, I had some car issues that I had to pay for which
- 32:45was an unexpected expense that which is always fun. And found out that I
- 32:50have another huge expense I'm gonna have to take care of before i can get
- 32:52the truck inspected. Yeah yeah, yeah, lots of fun stuff. Yeah,
- 32:57I love it. I love it so much. Life. Yeah,
- 33:00life sucks sometimes, guys. But like that was all last week. This
- 33:06week, like fuck everything, I've been having a great time. It's good.
- 33:10Like hell yeah, like I put in, like I told you,
- 33:14I kind of hinted that I put in. I put in the fucking work
- 33:16writing this week, you guys. I wrote ten thousand words this holy which
- 33:21is which is it is huge that that is one seventh of thing. Like
- 33:25so, if I kept up this pace, I could write in another full
- 33:29novel in two months. I'll just get it completely fucking done two months,
- 33:34knock it out. I could write six books a year at that pace.
- 33:37Yes, So I'm like, I want to keep it up. I want
- 33:40to keep it up. But it it's just been like flowing out of me.
- 33:44And I've been taking every opportunity to write. And this is this is
- 33:47book two, which is a it is a sequel, but it's a standalone
- 33:53sequel. It's a sequel that you could read without having read Thane first,
- 33:57but you really should, and the best way to do that is go to
- 34:00b fytwpod dot com. If you go to the main page, there's a
- 34:04giant graphic with Aaron's novel on the front. You can actually click that and
- 34:07it will take you to another site without our domain that you can get his
- 34:13novel purchase throughout multiple vendors. It's pretty cool. There's there's links to everywhere
- 34:16where it's being sold that I'm aware of anyway, and you can check it.
- 34:22You can check it out from any of those places and buy it from
- 34:23any of those places. You can even hit me up if you want a
- 34:27signed copy, just to you know, hit me up, send me an
- 34:31email, put in a comment on Patreon, you know something, let me
- 34:35know, reach out to me at my my social media is. I'll give
- 34:37those out at the end of the show. Right. But yeah, so
- 34:42second book made huge strides this week, massive strides. Like I said,
- 34:45ten thousand words in a week is a lot for me. Yeah, that's
- 34:49a lot for anything ascribed to, like five thousand words in a day,
- 34:54and I'm like, I can't manage that, but I can do two thousand
- 34:59Like I can do that, right, that's almost a full chapter by itself
- 35:02pretty much is two thousand words for me anyway. So yeah, I've been
- 35:07I've been putting in the work getting it done. That feels really good.
- 35:10Uh, it's all thanks to a website that I found due to Hugh J.
- 35:14O'Donnell who I mentioned before. Yes, during the panel, he mentioned
- 35:19a website called forth words dot com, which is which is essentially a writing
- 35:23RPG. Like you you you set yourself up to fight monsters and they'll be
- 35:29like to defeat them, you have to write fifty words in two minutes.
- 35:32So you're like, all right done, Wow, you get XP you get
- 35:37items that you put on your character. There was a math game kind of
- 35:40like that back in the day. Your character will get like gear and stuff
- 35:45that actually improves their stats. So like the higher your defense is, the
- 35:50longer the time limit gets extended, and the higher your attack, the more
- 35:54likely a single word will count for two what against the creature. So it
- 36:00literally gets easier the better gear you get, and you know, the more
- 36:04you keep writing, the better gear you get and so on. Well,
- 36:07it gamifies writing and it literally I have to assume it has something to do
- 36:12with the fact that I've written ten thousand words. I've been playing this game
- 36:15NonStop. It also acts as a good like back up. It has all
- 36:20my writing backed up saved on this site as well as where I keep it
- 36:23normally you know the cloud solutions that I currently use, but I also have
- 36:28an offline copy so I have everything covered. Good good, So if you
- 36:32are interested in writing, I highly recommend checking out. As Hugh J.
- 36:36O'Donnell said for the number four the words dot com and it's it's absolutely it's
- 36:43absolutely fascinating. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but it sure
- 36:46has worked for me. I've been completing quests and doing all the usual RPG
- 36:52shit and having a fun time, but also making a ton of headway on
- 36:57my books. So yes, yeahly recommend checking that out. Friday last night
- 37:02had friends over for a board game. Night Cool was an absolute blast.
- 37:07We played. We started with Arctic, not Arctic Survival, Arctic something or
- 37:15other. It's like a it's like a deck building game where you play with
- 37:22you have refugees, you have scavengers, and you have some tools and like
- 37:24one brawler and you're head of like a tribe that's trying to survive a post
- 37:29apocalyptic frozen nightmare. Oh shit. So you can send people to dig for
- 37:35stuff in the junkyard to try and find like medicine. Find like you send
- 37:38two people to attend to make a third person food. No, you can't.
- 37:43You can hire people to join your crew by spending medicine and or food,
- 37:50and you'll add them to your deck and then when you draw them,
- 37:52you get to play them and they have advanced abilities and so forth. It's
- 37:55usual deck building stuff, but the the main mechanic of the game is interesting
- 38:00in that the winner is the person who has the most people in their tribe
- 38:06at the end of the game, Like if you have the largest tribe,
- 38:07you win, okay, And some some cards are worth more, like there's
- 38:12there's Group Leaders, which is worth two people, and then there's like there's
- 38:15Thugs, which is worth three people. But one of the contested resources you
- 38:21can fight for are these like tribes of families. You'll get like four or
- 38:23five people. But these cards do nothing, like you can't use them to
- 38:29point. They are just points, so they actually kind of slow you down
- 38:31a little bit forgetting these. But but Andy still won by getting like almost
- 38:37all of the families. He got almost all of them. Like I was.
- 38:42I was hoovering up thugs as much as I could, because there were
- 38:45three, and I was hoping I was catching up, not even close everybody
- 38:47else doing. He destroyed me. He got forty three people. At the
- 38:51end of that, he had the largest tribe by far. I had thirty
- 38:53four. Yeah, it was it was wild. That's awesome. It was
- 38:58a good game. It was a good game. I'll look up the full
- 39:01name of it and we can put it on the show notes. And then
- 39:06we played telestrations surround out the night, and that is always funny. Telestrations
- 39:10is the telephone game but for writing, for artistry, for drawing. So
- 39:15someone will get the so and we're we're such assholes that we basically play like
- 39:20at least two rounds of a fill in the blank. You can put whatever
- 39:23you want is the phrase, and I'll put things like, you know,
- 39:28existential crisis or like yeah, I already can't draw, motherfucker. You know,
- 39:37top of things that are hard, things that are explicitly hard to draw,
- 39:42or things that are sexual, like someone someone made a blank like a
- 39:45torso and Aaron's freezer. Someone had to draw my fucking refrigerator and put a
- 39:52torso in it. They're all just turning around looking at it. Like.
- 39:57I got one that said foreskin, and I'm like ship. So I drew
- 40:00for the first time in my life. I drew an uncircumcised penis. Didn't
- 40:07even look like it just looks like a sausage with the end snipped off,
- 40:13just like a tiny little hole at the top. I didn't. I didn't
- 40:21know what else to do. I'm like, how the fuck you draw words?
- 40:22Kid? I really watched those video for this is what You're like.
- 40:27I found out later that the person before me had drawn like the the like
- 40:31someone getting circumcised, and then the doctor was holding like just a weird patch
- 40:36of skin. Apparently, Oh my god, arrows to that. It was
- 40:38so funny. I would have gone with a little like fucking guillotine thing from
- 40:43like robinan Matt. I put a little penis like hadn't get about to put
- 40:47its head in there anyway. Yeah, it was. It was laughs of
- 40:54plenty. I love telestrations. Illustrations always a good time, always because you
- 41:00you are never know how those strings are going to turn out or what people
- 41:02are going to say. Like someone drew Neil deGrasse Tyson and drew a picture
- 41:07of him pointing at a tiny planet distance and a thought bubble with like it
- 41:14looked like Saturn in it, with a like an X through it saying not.
- 41:17It's basically saying not a planet it. I didn't get that. I
- 41:22saw a game show host pointing at Pluto and telling Pluto that Saturn was incorrect.
- 41:27Oh, that's awesome. So that's what I wrote. Shows telling Saturn
- 41:31is incorrect. Saturn is the best I could do. Like, what the
- 41:37hell am I looking at? Yeah, so it has been. It has
- 41:44been a good goddamn week. So that's awesome. That's that's where I'm at,
- 41:47And that's what So we're gonna take another break and when we come back,
- 41:52see you and aug you're gonna fill us in on how their week went.
- 41:55Right after this. Hello friends, This is an AI version of John.
- 42:07Lauren has the power to make me say anything she wants me to say.
- 42:09She decided that I needed to tell you to listen to the beard al
- 42:13podcast. It's the podcast where we talk about two of the best things in
- 42:16the world, beer and the wonderful weird Al She also wants me to tell
- 42:20you that she rules and I drool. Lauren is awesome. I smell like
- 42:22feet. Go listen to the beard Al podcast, available wherever you get podcasts.
- 42:29Lauren is the best at running the show. I'm just side talent.
- 42:31Lauren is so great. Hey man, welcome back. It's time for part
- 42:46three. Uh and uh we're gonna find out what the heck YouTube been up
- 42:51to. I know one thing YouTube, Yeah, yeah, stirring me in
- 42:55the face. Yeah, it's been a it's been a very productive time off
- 43:01after the con once the episodes were all edited and going, yeah, yeah,
- 43:06we didn't sit around and do nothing. No, well maybe I did,
- 43:08But let's talk about the small stuff first and we'll end on the big
- 43:13things. A couple of nights ago, it was like last Thursday, I
- 43:17think I got invited to job on with proper Rumpus and do some Rocket League
- 43:22again, go with the flow gaming and dj zan santhis yeah, santhus freaking
- 43:29awesome. Destroyed people like it was great and I'm starting to learn how to
- 43:32fly, so watch out Rocket leaguers. I can fly now, yeah,
- 43:37bitches. But no, it was a riot. So I wanted to give
- 43:40a shout out to them. They've been inviting me on having a good time.
- 43:45I want to get them on here too as a as a streaming team.
- 43:47I figure we'll do some video game trivia or something with those two.
- 43:51I think it could be a lot of fun. Yep. Yesterday I was
- 43:55on The Fink Show with Gina and John Hell yeah, yeah, yep.
- 44:00So they all say hi and everything, hoping the show is doing well,
- 44:02which obviously we're kicking ass everywhere because we're awesome. Of course, lots of
- 44:07fun. Yeah one, thank you for all the support, keep holding us
- 44:15up. But no, it was a great time. We bullshited a lot
- 44:21about just random things. We want to do a meet up with pot not
- 44:25just like a garmything, like an actual meetup with all of us, do
- 44:29some shows together. Yeah, and I think that would be a phenomenal idea.
- 44:32We met with Eric from Kansas City. He was on there too talking
- 44:37about it. So we're thinking about in the next couple of years we all
- 44:39meet somewhere central I mean, we can just fly somewhere to Central US unless
- 44:45we do want to drive. That's what they said, and I was like,
- 44:47I'm down, So all right, that's where the Gateleepers live. We
- 44:52could do a giant so I say we bring the studio with Colorado. So,
- 44:57do you guys want to do a road trip to Colorado or do you
- 45:00want to fly to Hell? Yeah? Road trip? You want to road
- 45:01trip? I'm down if you want to. Would you be down because we
- 45:05can switch off driving, which will be helped. We just keep going constantly
- 45:07and I'll know because my other cook is heading to Colorado for Christmas. So
- 45:10I'm like, how's the drive? So this will be great. So I
- 45:15did it once to Utah and that's almost the Colorado so I know. We
- 45:19wait a minute to Utah is farther than Colorada. Yeah, that's what I'm
- 45:22saying, Like, if I could do that, we should be fine,
- 45:23splitting off driving and stuff unless you came at it from the west side of
- 45:29I came from Utah. Game this way? Oh, from Utah to Colorado.
- 45:31OK. So I remember that drive being hectic. It was like twenty
- 45:34something. I was like, drive to Utah from here, stupid, don't
- 45:39do it? Now? You fly mother? Yeah, okay, we would
- 45:44doing next. I think it would be cheaper to drive, especially bringing equipment
- 45:47bags all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, it would just be easier.
- 45:50So maybe we should start playing some stuff. But that's in my back of
- 45:53my mind right now. Let's let's schedule this to like middle of twenty twenty
- 45:59four. Yeah, yes, yes, I think that would be good call
- 46:01or twenty twenty five. I think I think we should also, uh,
- 46:06we gotta do Jersey first, because we talked about Jersey first. Yeah,
- 46:08no, that's fair. I just think we should include Philly in that because
- 46:13we got friends in Philly who want to see us again. Yes, I
- 46:15think I think time we should bring on. Yes, yes, I think
- 46:17the plan is we go to Jersey, we spend or we get a hotel
- 46:22centralized yeah, or there be be or something centralized from the two on the
- 46:27Jersey border, the Jersey side, because reasons all right then weed, oh
- 46:32okay, and that's I was like, why okay, because I don't want
- 46:37to be holding there And then that way we can do a show somewhere cool,
- 46:43bring everybody on. We can also do a couple of things in Jersey
- 46:46the first night, couple of things, and well the first two nights and
- 46:50then the next two nights two stuff in Philly and obviously steakhouse because yes,
- 46:55and I already know. CJ is down. Hell yeah, so's he's on
- 47:00percent down to hang and do ship. He almost came out here for a
- 47:04little con. Really, Yes, When I was streaming with him and Rick
- 47:08go with the Flow game and he was talking, He's like, I have
- 47:12to tell you something. I almost came out for the con because you guys
- 47:15were doing it. And I was like, dude, if you fucking did,
- 47:19oh my god, that would have been like what the fuck? Like
- 47:22Jesus, Like that would have been like the topper, Like it was cool.
- 47:25But I was like, no, appreciate it. But like we're gonna
- 47:28we're gonna do something together again, and it's gonna be a lot of fun
- 47:32other than the con. Uh. And like we've already talked about the con
- 47:37a lot. You guys heard about it. Don't need to go into that
- 47:38too much more other than it was awesome. I had a great time.
- 47:40Yea. Yeah. Oh, and I've been playing a lot of Call of
- 47:45Duty in the New Modern Warfare Zombies mode because it's completely basically yes, that's
- 47:51all he plays that. He plays more than I do season, so I
- 47:53don't have to worry about anything. So I'm like, you know, that's
- 47:55what my game is six or five in the morning to go to work.
- 48:00He gets up at six and the more and play Call of Duty and he's
- 48:02kicking the ship out of everything. It's awesome. By the time I get
- 48:06home, he knows how to like defeat everything. So I'm just gonna follow
- 48:07him around, all right, if you will. It's great, Like it's
- 48:13it's so much fun though, because you don't have to worry about asshole players.
- 48:16It's like, nope, it's a giant open world map and just end
- 48:20your stuff to end it, like you can actually leave. It's that endless
- 48:23thing. It's so much fun. And then I'll get did you have anything
- 48:28else you what were you doing anything else? Well, Aaron, you might
- 48:31know something that you probably had to face at some point, probably several times
- 48:37actually every time seconds. There are two things you may have sometime in your
- 48:45life. Aches Jesus. That still makes me go so good. I can't
- 48:55even if you have no idea what we're talking about. Go listen to the
- 49:00gay episode on task Master. You will get it, or you still might
- 49:05not. No, no, I definitely didn't anyway. Anyways. So yes,
- 49:13once every seven seven maybe six years, you get called up for civil
- 49:17service young man. A young man gets a red note. This is why
- 49:23you vote in the primaries. Yes, but uh, but yeah, I
- 49:30was civic duty, and yeah, it also feels good to vote, so
- 49:34vote right. But it's okay, I've already accomplished my civic duty by doing
- 49:37absolutely nothing, so it's okay, I'm going to scratch off the list.
- 49:39Yes, I'm good for another six to seven years. That happened to me.
- 49:43The first time I got put on that list, I was like,
- 49:45oh shit, oh no. Well the first time, I was like,
- 49:47you can call in to find out if your name is on the list or
- 49:51not, and I was like, yes, dodge that bullet. Yeah they
- 49:52will. They had a listing that they would like you can go to at
- 49:55a certain time and they'd show everything. Now it's easy to see the internet.
- 49:59Yeah, because he was just looking up before. I remember sitting on
- 50:01the Yeah, sit my special umber. Yeah, well, several years be
- 50:08up. Prior to that, I had gotten a call previoushly a no,
- 50:13previously to uh do jerry duty. But I was in college at the time,
- 50:16so I got a pass. Then I'm like so when I got it
- 50:20this time, I'm like, oh man, I'm like, wow, has
- 50:22it been seventy years. Yeah, I got summoned for the same thing at
- 50:30the letter, but I got chosen and had to go. So I lost
- 50:32a day of work and I was there and I sat there the entire day
- 50:37and then I didn't get chosen. At the end, they dismissed me,
- 50:39so I got my thirty five dollars. I left. My boss thought I
- 50:43was fucking skipping work and made it up and I'm just like, man,
- 50:46fuck all you. I was fucking mad. And it wasn't even like around
- 50:51here. It was in Niagara Falls and that shitty ass fucking court then yeah,
- 50:54and I'm like, why why the fuck am my way the fuck out
- 50:59here? Like I don't even live in this county, you all. I
- 51:01was so pissed. You do live in the county, but I shouldn't be
- 51:06out there. I should be in the closer courts, like for me,
- 51:08closer city, the suburbs. Man, Like, why do I have to
- 51:12go down the fucking the falls? The gross ass falls and ships so scummy.
- 51:17I hate that court, it's so grossing there. Yeah. Yeah,
- 51:22beyond that, I was observing while while standing next to a fire. Mostly,
- 51:30he's really good at keeping a fire going from for four hours, but
- 51:35no more than that because there's no way I could keep that fire going longer.
- 51:39But yeah, I was observing, uh so this thing with this thing
- 51:45again because we don't have video unfortunately, which would have been perfect to have
- 51:49video right now, we will be posting pictures and stuff on the sites and
- 51:52things, see what I was pointing out if we have a video right now.
- 51:55But about four months ago, we got an awesome donation of a very
- 52:00cool countertop and we started being we started doing renovations since then in creating a
- 52:06brand new broadcasting desk for us and Gusts. So it's a lot easier,
- 52:09a lot nicer. And we also got some carpeting in the studio now,
- 52:14so it's gonna be a little bit more insulated. It's gonna be a little
- 52:17bit better for the sound, and more comfy on our feet. Yeah,
- 52:22but yeah, yes, stay tuned. If you're a patroon, may remember
- 52:24because now you'll have a visual improvement, yes for our videos for sure.
- 52:30The new table, it's it's a very nice huge countertop. We got all.
- 52:35We did this by a hand. Our buddy, uh Magnus cock Thunder
- 52:42brought his pickup truck over with his giant table saw on these awesome cock thunder
- 52:46Yes, and we went to the store and grabbed some stuff. He brought
- 52:50a bunch of wood over. We started making legs and stuff and built this
- 52:53awesome s table. I fucking absolutely adore this. It is great. It
- 52:59is weird how the shape of it just makes more room, which it's so
- 53:05weird. It's so this is this is this is actually actively smaller than less
- 53:10imagine if you will, and L but it's L shaped, which means we
- 53:15can now fit people around the end of the L and still have room for
- 53:20people on the other side. So ironically, despite having a technically smaller table,
- 53:25we can fit more people at it because there's more there's more boundary space.
- 53:30Yes, it's just the weirdest thing, but it works and it's surprising
- 53:36very well and I don't feel cramped in here. That's the best part.
- 53:40And we can still fit more people at the table like it's nuts. We
- 53:44usually fit like two more, and then we have the couch too, like
- 53:47I can always add more mic somewhere else, so a lot further. But
- 53:52yeah, we can absolutely do that. And with the new camera setups that
- 53:55are going to be active hopefully next time it's gonna look a lot lack.
- 54:00And we install Christmas lights because yeah, because Christmas time. But yeah,
- 54:07your book is there on the top shelf, hell yeah. Yeah the b
- 54:09FY t W copy hell yeah. But yeah, lots of new stuff happening
- 54:14in the studio. Uh. We got, like I said, new carpeting,
- 54:17which is nice. The new desk is the highlight. Like this is
- 54:22this was our project and I'm just thrilled that we were able to get it.
- 54:27Like, it's not one hundred percent done yet, but for the most
- 54:30part, the table itself is finished. The broadcast table is finished. And
- 54:34we got done before winter really hit. And that's what I was scared of,
- 54:37because we had to take all the stuff out work out there to bring
- 54:38it in. And why do we keep pushing our goddamn projects the winner.
- 54:43This is like the second third time we've done that, because we're like,
- 54:45Okay, we're done for the rest of this year, and I can't sit
- 54:49still long enough to be like, no, we can't be done. There's
- 54:51still like a month last let's do something. We had another thing we did
- 54:54last year where we're like it's snowing out let's do construction, like let's do
- 54:59this now, idiots, or or even when we got the studio, it
- 55:04was fall. When we got the studio, it was the shell of the
- 55:08studio. I should say, yeah, like I don't know, but I
- 55:13do because it was cheaper to buy it then. Yeah, it's stupid cheaper
- 55:16to buy it because summer was ending and people were not going to be interested
- 55:21in buying sheds anymore. Yep. And that's where I'll grab it now and
- 55:24I'll just put up with the extra cold and the extra work. Yep.
- 55:28I did too. I was like, I'll go, fuck, it was
- 55:30worth the money. Hey man, I dug that trench in that cold.
- 55:32That was nuts. I come home and I'll get a trench dog already for
- 55:35the electric Oh my god, I love you, motherfucker. Right now.
- 55:39My back's not gonna hurt that much tonight. But yeah. So I want
- 55:45to thank all the listeners obviously, especially all the patrons for supporting us,
- 55:51like through four plus years. Now the point where we have a full as
- 55:54studio, yeah, and we can do things like I want, I really
- 55:59do want to bring Masters of Boredom into here and do a couple of nights
- 56:04of just playing games. We got, we got everything to do it,
- 56:07and I think it would be fun just get rid of the computer stuff,
- 56:09play a couple of games, interesting, Slash, difficult to range a board
- 56:14game on. I don't think even even with even with you know, you
- 56:17do know masters are board and both have a board game and cameras, right,
- 56:22I mean board table and camera. Yeah, we kind of have a
- 56:27setup. We should. You want to do the thing that they do,
- 56:30but in a way that's not They have the exact amenities to do you want
- 56:38to play. To be fair, this place is better for audio. Yes,
- 56:43that place is good for video. This is good for get correct going
- 56:50that. Yeah, that crazy magical ex suspension bridge for you is going to
- 56:57create for us. It's unbelievable. That thing is held up by fucking pressure,
- 57:02isn't it. It's just pressure how suspension bridges work. It's like fucking
- 57:07the Romans and ship nor on that. I don't know anything Romans. Yeah,
- 57:14I know. It's It's way beyond anything the Romans could have done anyway.
- 57:16Yeah, but yeah, lots of cool stuff happening. Cool stuff did
- 57:21happen. And I walked in today and just my jaw dropped. We didn't
- 57:23tell anything. Well, everything was I knew, I knew you guys had
- 57:28done it, but I didn't have any clue what it looked like. And
- 57:30I walked in and I was just like, my jaw dropped and hit the
- 57:34floor and I just put my hands on top of this and I just felt
- 57:37it, and I was like, oh, this is amazing. And like
- 57:40Stevie said during the break, you can spill anything you want on this,
- 57:44it doesn't matter. Just wipe it up. Yeah good, I mean,
- 57:45don't just actively start spilling it. Oh my god, my calendar. Oh
- 57:54I know what the to do tomorrow. I'll never know what year it is.
- 58:00I won't know when he's coming over. All right, So I think
