- 1:57Speaker 1: so very much. This is Jay Shanna sitszens Au Jury Police.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Rick Canning here, let's just say, yeah, this is a
- 2:04Speaker 1: guy I've known for a long time. When he started
- 2:06Speaker 1: the New York Simulated Police some five six years ago,
- 2:11Speaker 1: no one new then what it would become. But Rick
- 2:14Speaker 1: Bologna is with me here, and Rick is from New Yorker,
- 2:17Speaker 1: from what part of New York are from? Originally from
- 2:20Speaker 1: Hell's Kitchen as a matter of fact, the Midtown Manhattan Okay,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm not sure is that when they say Hell's Kitchen,
- 2:26Speaker 1: is that there's a lot of violence there. No, No,
- 2:28Speaker 1: it's it's tourists. It used to be at one time
- 2:30Speaker 1: heavily irish, I think. But okay, so, uh you look nervous.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It made me a little bit nervous because I know
- 2:38Speaker 1: mister Henry is going to be in a play in
- 2:40Speaker 1: Midtown Manhattan Star next week. But that's right, and we're
- 2:44Speaker 1: looking forward to having mister Henry there, and the New
- 2:47Speaker 1: York for ten Police will be out in full regal.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You but he's he gonna be a Hell's Kitchen. I
- 2:52Speaker 1: think that's where the theater is. Yeah, but it's not
- 2:54Speaker 1: like what you do. Just because it's called Hell's Kitchen
- 2:56Speaker 1: doesn't mean it sounds you know, no, it's fine. I
- 3:00Speaker 1: know that in New York City. Yeah, I don't want
- 3:02Speaker 1: to make a big deal out of it. But don't
- 3:04Speaker 1: you have like a mafia? And no? Yeah, I mean yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 1: but nobody really gets upset about that. It's that the
- 3:11Speaker 1: mafia is not the problem in New York when it
- 3:13Speaker 1: comes to crime. It's more are you talking like get
- 3:16Speaker 1: it beat it up? Yeah, you want to get beat
- 3:18Speaker 1: up by Mafi or anything? No, that's not gonna happen.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I will. Let's get to this. Speaking of being beat up,
- 3:24Speaker 1: something happened to Rick? You explain it? Because you were
- 3:28Speaker 1: the New York Simulated Police and now you're called the
- 3:30Speaker 1: New York Pretend Police. And it has a kind of
- 3:34Speaker 1: a tragic backstory, don't it. Yes, it does, Jay, What
- 3:38Speaker 1: happened basically, Oh you're gonna start telling the story now,
- 3:41Speaker 1: yeah that's what I Okay? Here is okay, hold on,
- 3:45Speaker 1: Here is Rick Bologna, the New York Pretend Police, on
- 3:47Speaker 1: a story and on what happened? On what happened? Yeah? Okay,
- 3:51Speaker 1: thanks Jay? So what happened was this, we had information
- 3:56Speaker 1: the New York Pretend Police. We're set up the way
- 3:59Speaker 1: the citizens Police is set up. You have like sub commanders,
- 4:03Speaker 1: we have warriors. You have your brigadier Admiral Jay that's correct. Yeah, okay,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm a quartermaster. You're the quartermaster. Yeah. You have Major
- 4:12Speaker 1: Elvis Newton. We have Gladiator Bob. Okay, so he says,
- 4:16Speaker 1: that's his first name. No, that's his last name. His
- 4:18Speaker 1: name is David Elliott Bob, Gladiated Bob, who is the
- 4:22Speaker 1: head of the whole p Tend Police. Okay, and understand
- 4:26Speaker 1: it when I say pretend Police, it's like somebody is
- 4:29Speaker 1: sticking one right up there in wiggling. I can't do.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It hurts. It does hurt, because that was what the
- 4:34Speaker 1: judge the court ordered us, and they ordered us to
- 4:39Speaker 1: take their order. They order you to change your name.
- 4:43Speaker 1: They ordered us to change our name, yes to the
- 4:46Speaker 1: New York Pretend Police. And this happened after we had
- 4:52Speaker 1: received information that there was drug manufacturing and distribution going
- 4:58Speaker 1: on at a certain residence, uh in Midtown of Manhattan
- 5:03Speaker 1: in New York City. And at that time, we then
- 5:07Speaker 1: took a you call it, you guys take a squad,
- 5:10Speaker 1: We take a cluster. Okay, So we took a cluster
- 5:14Speaker 1: of our warriors and we pranced you say you like
- 5:17Speaker 1: fan out and fan in. We prance in and we
- 5:20Speaker 1: prants about. What's what the face? I don't know, why
- 5:24Speaker 1: do you? Because it shows an ability. See, this is
- 5:27Speaker 1: the whole thing. This. I had to argue this at
- 5:30Speaker 1: one of our meetings. I said, I want to call
- 5:32Speaker 1: it the prance in and the and the prance about
- 5:34Speaker 1: because that shows flexibility and it shows our ability to
- 5:38Speaker 1: go from like here over to across the room in
- 5:41Speaker 1: the blink of an eye. If you fan and and
- 5:42Speaker 1: you fan out, everybody can predict where you're gonna go.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But if you prance about, you're here, then you're over,
- 5:48Speaker 1: across the room, then you're on the ceiling. Okay, I'm sorry.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I should not have laughed. Yeah, that's right, you should
- 5:57Speaker 1: not have laughed. Okay, God, sorry, Anyway, there was you said.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Instead of fanning and fanning out, you prants about. Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 1: we prants about. Okay, I'm sorry, I apologize. So we
- 6:09Speaker 1: prance about. So what happened was we got a call
- 6:12Speaker 1: that there was some drug dealing and distribution and the
- 6:15Speaker 1: disseminations at this residence, and we went there. I called
- 6:21Speaker 1: for a prance about, and we clustered. Then we started
- 6:25Speaker 1: the prance about, so you could see our warriors like
- 6:29Speaker 1: up in the air, down on the ground. We were
- 6:31Speaker 1: every we were darting back and forth almost in the
- 6:33Speaker 1: blink of the eye, you know. So that's that's the
- 6:35Speaker 1: strength of the prants about. Yeah, that's what I'm trying
- 6:38Speaker 1: to tell you. So when I said, okay, cluster in
- 6:40Speaker 1: prance about, and we started to Jesus m M. And
- 6:53Speaker 1: we started to prance about. So we started. I was
- 6:55Speaker 1: on the ceiling and another guy on the Florida and
- 6:56Speaker 1: they died about in the blink of an eye. A
- 7:00Speaker 1: New York pretend police warrior can be across the street
- 7:03Speaker 1: and standing right in front of it. You could blink youright.
- 7:05Speaker 1: There's standing in front of you and blink your eye.
- 7:07Speaker 1: He's sitting in his car reading a newspaper. Blink your
- 7:09Speaker 1: eye again. He's having an ice cream cone down in
- 7:12Speaker 1: Times Square. See, so it doesn't make any difference. It's
- 7:14Speaker 1: that quick. Okay, So you did a prance about. What happened,
- 7:17Speaker 1: We did the prance about, and we wound up in
- 7:20Speaker 1: this in the interior of the room where we believed
- 7:23Speaker 1: at that time that there was drug distribution, sorry distribution
- 7:29Speaker 1: distribution and drug manufacturing going on. One of our officers,
- 7:35Speaker 1: the one of the Warrior Clem, was taken and beaten
- 7:38Speaker 1: with a chair by one of the individuals in that room.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And he was beaten like repeatedly, and we saw it happening,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and it was so savage that we all just kind
- 7:47Speaker 1: of backed the way and I was pressed up against
- 7:49Speaker 1: the wall, going oh God, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 7:52Speaker 1: on what was going on? This guy? I say it
- 7:55Speaker 1: was a ten year old. What happened was we come
- 7:57Speaker 1: into a kid's birthday party. Okay, you thought this was
- 8:01Speaker 1: where the drugs were. We thought this, we were told
- 8:03Speaker 1: it was there was drug distribution and dissemination in manufacture,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and so we went in as we pranced in and
- 8:11Speaker 1: the next thing you know, it's a party. There's like
- 8:13Speaker 1: five kids there, they're ten, They got birthday cake and
- 8:16Speaker 1: they stand at us like like we're perverts or something.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I was very shot. And then one of the kids
- 8:20Speaker 1: grabbed a chair and laid into Warrior Clem, just over
- 8:26Speaker 1: and over and over again. Man, it sounds like it
- 8:29Speaker 1: was very traumatic for you.
- 8:30Speaker 2: It really was. Man.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It just beat him and beat him and beat him
- 8:34Speaker 1: until finally the cops arrived and we were charged with
- 8:39Speaker 1: a home invasion and we said, well, we want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: counter charge this gentleman. And they said, with this ten
- 8:45Speaker 1: year old kid. I said, okay, and we are not
- 8:48Speaker 1: allowed to say the kid's name, so let's use use
- 8:50Speaker 1: a placeholder name. Okay. The kid's name was Timmy, Timmy Temperton.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You know his name. It says that's a kid name, right. Sure,
- 8:58Speaker 1: So this kid, Timmy Mmelin beat the hell I just
- 9:02Speaker 1: beat on Clam with a chair. And so when we
- 9:05Speaker 1: at least want him arrested, and they said when the
- 9:07Speaker 1: kid was acting in self defense And they said self
- 9:10Speaker 1: defense from one man. He never had a chance. You know,
- 9:15Speaker 1: I understand. It's very traumatic. Yeah, so they took us
- 9:19Speaker 1: into custody. We was bonded out the next day by
- 9:23Speaker 1: Gladiator Bob and his wife Blue. Her name is Bluelegs
- 9:27Speaker 1: because it's a beautiful name, it said Blue Bob. Yeah,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I guess you could say Blue. Well, I'm sorry, that's
- 9:34Speaker 1: her name. Yeah, okay, god, man, that's her name. You're right,
- 9:38Speaker 1: Blue Bob. I guess she did. I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
- 9:41Speaker 1: God damn. So then what happened was we were we
- 9:46Speaker 1: were sued by this group the parents of these kids,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and they sued us for about a half a million,
- 9:54Speaker 1: which we was that we did lose that case, okay,
- 9:58Speaker 1: And so we were assessed them images and had to,
- 10:01Speaker 1: you know, come up with the money. I had a
- 10:04Speaker 1: reverse mortgage on my house. I'm gonna it was horrible.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I said, you guys got you got found liable in
- 10:10Speaker 1: a civil action and had to pay up a half
- 10:13Speaker 1: a million. And for what reason, Well, they said, you know,
- 10:16Speaker 1: for damages, for personal injury, this kind of thing. They
- 10:19Speaker 1: hired some personal injury attorney and also because we scared
- 10:22Speaker 1: the kids. And I don't know. I told them, I said,
- 10:23Speaker 1: you got a ten year old kid man and almost
- 10:25Speaker 1: killed one of my guys. I ain't care. No, they didn't. Man.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So anyway, long story short, the judge says to us,
- 10:33Speaker 1: you can pay or or the families are agreeable to
- 10:38Speaker 1: this term, which is you change your name to the
- 10:41Speaker 1: pretend police. I said, what's your hon He said, you
- 10:43Speaker 1: changed your name from the New York simulated Police to
- 10:46Speaker 1: the New York pretend Police. And you go about with
- 10:49Speaker 1: these there's the picture, okay, So that explains you guys
- 10:52Speaker 1: go around with what are those like pink bear ears?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Or something. Yeah, if they're made up bear ears, I
- 10:57Speaker 1: don't know. So you have to go out and those
- 10:59Speaker 1: are the caps you wear their ball caps. You're right
- 11:01Speaker 1: on the front, it says New York Pretend NYPP, which
- 11:06Speaker 1: that's unfortunate, Yeah it is. And those pink barriers they
- 11:10Speaker 1: were supposed to wear.
- 11:11Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So here's so the New York Pretend Police what you
- 11:14Speaker 1: call now used to be calling New York similar police.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And we knew your your exploice for many years. Say
- 11:19Speaker 1: that again. We knew your ex boys from their years.
- 11:23Speaker 1: You knew my exploits from near my ear? No for
- 11:25Speaker 1: many years? Oh oh yeah right, thank you. So now
- 11:29Speaker 1: you're the pretend police. You got fuzzy pink bear ears.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Why not just disband now, that's what they wanted us
- 11:36Speaker 1: to do, That's what they wanted us to do. But
- 11:38Speaker 1: why not just disbanding and join some other units? There
- 11:41Speaker 1: must be some other units around New York. The Poughkeepsie
- 11:44Speaker 1: pull Boys wanted us to join. Is that's a similar police.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You had to pull the pull Boys p O L
- 11:49Speaker 1: L B O Y S. I don't know why to
- 11:52Speaker 1: call that. They just like they walk around with long
- 11:54Speaker 1: poles and they walk around jerking, you know, jerking them
- 11:57Speaker 1: off like they think they're tough guys, and I hear
- 11:59Speaker 1: that they are. They are also a uh you know
- 12:03Speaker 1: auxiliary police unit, Poughkeepsie pull boys. Yeah, there's the Albany
- 12:07Speaker 1: State cannons. They're they're like auxiliary police. The Albany State
- 12:11Speaker 1: can see a N N O N S. I don't know.
- 12:14Speaker 1: We we wanted to be with our with our guys,
- 12:16Speaker 1: so we we maintained our unit. But in order for
- 12:19Speaker 1: you to maintain a unity, by by core order, you
- 12:22Speaker 1: know what's that again? By core order, oh, by court order. Yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you had to change your name year for him police
- 12:29Speaker 1: and walk around in fuzzy barriers. The judge said, we
- 12:32Speaker 1: had to wear bear ears the ball caps that said
- 12:35Speaker 1: NYPP And you can see right here, what are those
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's like bear pants or something. Yeah, they're fuzzy shorts.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They look like there's a bear tale. And so this
- 12:43Speaker 1: is how you guys want to proceed Now, yeah, we
- 12:45Speaker 1: do because we believe that heavily and that very much
- 12:48Speaker 1: deeply in law enforcement. Now we go into the subways.
- 12:52Speaker 1: We go man, we go down where you know, we
- 12:54Speaker 1: go where the action is. Okay, we run the trouble man.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Just like they say in the citizens Auxilby Police, we
- 12:59Speaker 1: see this same thing in New York for tend police.
- 13:01Speaker 1: This is us coming to trouble. Yeah, hey, you know
- 13:04Speaker 1: like that. Yeah what, well, it's not as good as
- 13:07Speaker 1: the way we do we do this with Yeah, okay,
- 13:11Speaker 1: oh that didn't scare Yeah not really. No, anyway, we
- 13:15Speaker 1: come at trouble like you guys do only I don't know,
- 13:18Speaker 1: but uh, I believe he trouble is frightened of us. Well,
- 13:20Speaker 1: Trouble's scared of us too. While you're wearing your where
- 13:22Speaker 1: you're wearing fuzzy bear pants with a tail and bear ears.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah you know, look, man, I may dress you can. Hey,
- 13:30Speaker 1: Stephen King proved to us that clowns can be scary, right,
- 13:33Speaker 1: that's true. Yeah, so you may think I look weird
- 13:36Speaker 1: and I look almost clown like because I have bear ears,
- 13:39Speaker 1: bear pants with a bear with a bear tail. You
- 13:42Speaker 1: say bear pants, and they bear shorts. They're bear shorts. Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 1: it's a fuzzy bear pair of bear shorts. Down, middie,
- 13:48Speaker 1: cover your ass with a big fuzzy bear tail. It's pink. Yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 1: it's pink, I mean, And and you feel this is really,
- 13:58Speaker 1: really real worth it. We do feel it's worth it
- 14:00Speaker 1: because at the end of the day, we are the
- 14:03Speaker 1: New York pretend police. Yeah. Yeah, and you have a
- 14:09Speaker 1: soul you.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Want to do.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we do owe to New York pretend police. We're
- 14:18Speaker 1: on the street protecting the things you are and can be. Well.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The New York pretend police wearing the fuzzy pants. You
- 14:36Speaker 1: all right, I just need some New York pretend New
- 14:42Speaker 1: York pretend police that says to me, like a quartermaster,
- 14:50Speaker 1: hold on, it is having a hard time breathing here.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I'm all right.
- 14:54Speaker 1: The New York pretend police were in the pants, where
- 15:01Speaker 1: in the ears walking around? We got no fears of you.
- 15:12Speaker 1: That's fantastic. Yeah, very good, sir, Thanks a lot, New
- 15:18Speaker 1: York for ten police. Get it done and you get
- 15:20Speaker 1: it said. That's what the auxiliary police is all about.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We like to think, so Jay, we feel the auxiliary police.
- 15:26Speaker 1: They can laugh at you, they can mock you, they
- 15:28Speaker 1: can throw garbage at you, they can cut a fot
- 15:31Speaker 1: and lock you in a room with it, you know,
- 15:32Speaker 1: and it's all been done to us and worse, all bad. Yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 1: and yet we keep on keeping on with the New
- 15:39Speaker 1: York for tend police. All right, let's hear it for
- 15:41Speaker 1: Rick boloona of the New York Partempolate. People give you
- 15:43Speaker 1: a hard time about a name. Yeah, sometimes they they say, hey, Bologna,
- 15:47Speaker 1: and I'm like, you know that. You know, my name's Bologna.
- 15:49Speaker 1: It's not Bologny, it's not Bologna. It's got nothing to
- 15:52Speaker 1: do with lunch meat. It's a proud name. It's a Sardinian. Okay,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Now Sardinian doesn't like the fish. No, not like to finish.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Talk about the island. Yeah, the island of Sardinia, which
- 16:04Speaker 1: is where my family originally comes from. A lot of
- 16:06Speaker 1: people are proud of their Sicilian roots and people at
- 16:08Speaker 1: naple Li. You know, you hear a lot of different
- 16:10Speaker 1: places of origin of the Italian families in America. My family,
- 16:15Speaker 1: the Bolognas, is from Sardinia, very proudly so. And my
- 16:19Speaker 1: grandparents came here in nineteen ninety nine, nineteen How old
- 16:24Speaker 1: were your parents then? Six? When did they have you?
- 16:28Speaker 1: When they were sixteen? When were you born? Twenty sixteen?
- 16:31Speaker 1: So you're ten. I'm just kidding around. Yeah, my grandparents
- 16:34Speaker 1: came over here back when all the Italians was arriving.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It was sometime around all in black and white statue
- 16:40Speaker 1: Liberty pictures. Oh yeah, yeah, like that Els Island, stuff
- 16:44Speaker 1: like that. Yeah. So we're very proud of of our
- 16:47Speaker 1: heritage and stuff like that. Proud of your what our heritage, heritage, heritage.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Oh I'm sorry, Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, we're very proud
- 16:57Speaker 1: of our heritage and more and more every day we
- 17:01Speaker 1: love to, you know, get it done. Man in New
- 17:04Speaker 1: York for ten police the New York Pen wearing the
- 17:15Speaker 1: bear pants. I'm wearing the bear pants. I don't know.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And one time it worked in that desert, doesn't walking
- 17:24Speaker 1: around in bear pants and barriers of wish the God.

- 18:43Speaker 1: are you in the gym tonight? Yeah?
- 18:45Speaker 2: I am.
- 18:45Speaker 1: So.
- 18:45Speaker 3: We had quite a day. We were just got back
- 18:49Speaker 3: from Buttoner as you know, last weekend, and we had
- 18:53Speaker 3: a kind of a pre fall Tacular meeting. There's been
- 18:57Speaker 3: some discussion as to whether or not some of the
- 19:00Speaker 3: people want me to give up on the fall Queen persona.
- 19:06Speaker 3: But more to the point, they don't like Steve skipping
- 19:10Speaker 3: out as the joy Elf. They want him to march
- 19:12Speaker 3: out more as you know, the harbinger of the fall
- 19:16Speaker 3: of the Autumn. They wanted to be the Autumn King
- 19:18Speaker 3: something like that.
- 19:19Speaker 2: They don't want to.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Excuse me, I'm sorry, I had the phone.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 19:25Speaker 1: They don't want Steve to be what.
- 19:27Speaker 2: They don't want Steve. They don't want the joy Elf
- 19:31Speaker 2: joy Oakbby.
- 19:34Speaker 1: You guys have got to figure out who gets the phone.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Okay, mister Henry's pistomp down you Steve just said fuck?
- 19:39Speaker 3: Can you can you edit that?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Okay? Bobby? Please? Sorry, Bobby, this is a general Sean.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Joe, how are you? I'm sorry, I've got gas.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Oh my god, that's right, Margaret. Some of this I live, Okay.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I have a rich, wonderful life. I eat and I belch.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Fine, good for you.
- 19:59Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 20:00Speaker 1: Hey, Bobby. We're not here to argue. We're here to
- 20:02Speaker 1: talk to you about your summer at Buttner Lake and
- 20:04Speaker 1: if you were having a problem there with the fall.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Tacular, all right, mister, and we don't have to talk
- 20:09Speaker 3: to me like garbage.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It's not my wife like that.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna hang up in about two seconds.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry, I'll do it.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Bobby, Hi, it's Margaret. I didn't mean to offend you, darling.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I just wanted to know what you were eating that
- 20:20Speaker 1: caused you to belch like that.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I don't know what did we have Steve at bean Burgers?
- 20:24Speaker 3: We had the morning start bean Burgers for a dinner.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Okay, So they're giving up on Steve's persona as the
- 20:33Speaker 1: joy out. They wanted to be what they they want
- 20:35Speaker 1: to be, what the autumn King.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I want to be the king of the Autumn that
- 20:38Speaker 2: I come marching out in a pair of Chris Brown slacks.
- 20:41Speaker 3: They want him in Chris Brown slacks, marching militarily.
- 20:45Speaker 1: But this is you are the Holmeaners Association president. How
- 20:48Speaker 1: can they tell you to do anything?
- 20:50Speaker 3: It's a good question. Down through the years, I've seeded
- 20:53Speaker 3: Bourn more authority to the party board, which is run
- 20:57Speaker 3: by Karen Gibner Beacon, and she's a geez. She's a
- 21:00Speaker 3: little bit of a pain in the UK. So I've
- 21:02Speaker 3: seated more of the authority and all right.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Well can I yes Phil again?
- 21:07Speaker 3: Oh I bet you quit.
- 21:08Speaker 1: No, I didn't quit, but I was getting so Bobby,
- 21:10Speaker 1: here is the thing we want to know about the
- 21:13Speaker 1: summer at Buttner Lake. I understand that you had a
- 21:16Speaker 1: good summer.
- 21:17Speaker 3: We did have a great summer, Phil, and we're having
- 21:19Speaker 3: a good time here at Western of States. We just
- 21:21Speaker 3: came back to this meeting. Gribner had a problem. Joe Oakin,
- 21:25Speaker 3: who's the.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Joe Ogan had a problems. You know, they all got
- 21:28Speaker 2: problems with us because they got brought. He's got a
- 21:30Speaker 2: problem with me. It's like me walking around in tight shorts.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Steve walks around in tight shorts all summer. Steve puts
- 21:35Speaker 3: on the tight shorts in June, doesn't take them off
- 21:37Speaker 3: until September twenty.
- 21:38Speaker 2: First. They're tight, they show everything, you know. Yeah, that's
- 21:42Speaker 2: what I do.
- 21:43Speaker 3: That's what he does. And this guy Grubner, this guy,
- 21:46Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe he's looking at your penis or
- 21:48Speaker 3: something yet.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Okay, Bobby, no more discussion of this on we go
- 21:51Speaker 1: to the summer at Buttner Lake.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Okay, I'm real sorry. Yes, Butler Lake, Steve and I
- 21:57Speaker 3: and the boys showed up, as you know, Phil in
- 22:00Speaker 3: late June. We had a wonderful summer. We had to
- 22:02Speaker 3: send off last Sundays when we left. And the sendoff
- 22:09Speaker 3: is when Steve drags me around the lake on an
- 22:12Speaker 3: inner tube, you.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Know, maybe drags and drags you around. What do you say,
- 22:17Speaker 1: what do you mean, drags you around?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Oh?
- 22:19Speaker 3: I get on the inner tube on my knees. I'm
- 22:22Speaker 3: in my bikini, the flower top bikini, you know, Margaret,
- 22:26Speaker 3: and I wave and I go Hi Hi, and Steve
- 22:30Speaker 3: drags the inner tube around the lake.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It goes slow because I might, you know, bumper off
- 22:35Speaker 2: and everything. I'm on my knees and don't say it, Steve,
- 22:39Speaker 2: God help you don't say it. Steve made the crack.
- 22:42Speaker 2: We were doing an interview on the Grubner and Lewis show.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Do you know those people tell me we were on
- 22:47Speaker 2: Grubner and Lewis. They got to show out here in
- 22:49Speaker 2: the valley. I don't know if anybody listens to it,
- 22:50Speaker 2: but anyway, I said, I was on my knees, and
- 22:53Speaker 2: Steve said, just the way I like you. And that's
- 22:56Speaker 2: when I took the receiver which I was holding in
- 22:58Speaker 2: my hand and broke it across the back of Steve's head.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Bobby, you know how I feel about this violence.
- 23:03Speaker 3: What he said, that's how I like you. When I
- 23:06Speaker 3: was on my knees.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It was absolutely classless, breaking the receiver the phone across
- 23:11Speaker 1: the back of his head.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I didn't touch him. We just made a sound like that.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I would like this. Ah and and Grubner says, what happened?
- 23:19Speaker 2: Did they? You know? Did she hit you? And I go, yeah,
- 23:21Speaker 2: she hit me with the phone.
- 23:23Speaker 3: And then I said, I'm only kidding, kidding. I didn't
- 23:25Speaker 3: touch him, and Steve said, she's right, she didn't touch me.
- 23:30Speaker 1: So what did they say?
- 23:31Speaker 2: They hung up on us?
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, they hung up on us. And we didn't anticipate
- 23:34Speaker 3: that because you never know, you never have none done that,
- 23:38Speaker 3: and yet they did do that.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, so okay.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Move on if you will, that's what I need to do. So, Bobby,
- 23:45Speaker 1: you were dragged around the lake.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yes, I was being.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Dragged around the lake, going high high, and the people
- 23:53Speaker 3: are waving back, and you know a lot of them
- 23:55Speaker 3: are resentful. They don't like that I look good in
- 23:58Speaker 3: the bikini that Steve and I are happy. We have
- 24:00Speaker 3: three happy sons. Steve has a beautiful v bottom a
- 24:05Speaker 3: powerboat ski boat. We have a beautiful cabin on the
- 24:09Speaker 3: Gooblin And we were coming around the bend to Gooblin Rock.
- 24:12Speaker 3: That's where Bob happened to. Dan has his home.
- 24:15Speaker 1: What's his name?
- 24:16Speaker 2: Bob happened to Dan. Bob happena. Dan has a home there.
- 24:19Speaker 2: And as we rounded around Goobner Rock, he came running
- 24:22Speaker 2: out of the front door of his house and pulled
- 24:24Speaker 2: his pants down, pointing at his rear end.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Yeah. And I don't know, it's almost as if they
- 24:30Speaker 3: listened to your show, mister Henry, because there's a lot
- 24:32Speaker 3: of people on your show that pulled their pants down,
- 24:35Speaker 3: pointed their rear ends.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And go see that's what he did.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That's exactly what he writes. Steve. Yeah, he came out,
- 24:41Speaker 2: he pulled his pants down. As he saw Bobby, he goes, hey,
- 24:43Speaker 2: look see, and.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I went, you know, something happened to Dan. And I
- 24:47Speaker 3: used the word I said f and I used the
- 24:50Speaker 3: word you. And then I got up popped, and Steve
- 24:53Speaker 3: slowed down. I climbed out of the inner tube and
- 24:55Speaker 3: I went below for a drink.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Well, Bobby what's so funny?
- 25:01Speaker 1: Nothing? I think you. You know, Bobby, you live a
- 25:04Speaker 1: life that's very interesting. You live either in great contention
- 25:07Speaker 1: and direct opposition to people, or you're getting along with
- 25:09Speaker 1: people at Buttoner Lake. I'm not sure. What is that about.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Well, the problem is we tried to form a homewners association.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Hey, oh so that's the problem.
- 25:18Speaker 2: No, the problem, Bobby, you trying.
- 25:21Speaker 1: To lord it over people. Yeah, people live up there
- 25:24Speaker 1: and they don't have to have no homewners association.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Say that again.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Why do you have to have a homeowners association?
- 25:30Speaker 3: Because Phil, there's no organization. Just last week, as we
- 25:34Speaker 3: were leaving, I'm going around for my farewell. I do
- 25:37Speaker 3: it every year. Steve drags me around the lake on
- 25:40Speaker 3: the inner tube. I kneel at the inner tube at
- 25:42Speaker 3: great personal risk because Steve's doing about the thirty knots
- 25:46Speaker 3: like god, you know. Anyway, I go hi, Hi, I'm
- 25:50Speaker 3: waving and this guy comes running out of his cabin,
- 25:54Speaker 3: pulls the pants down and points at it.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Well, Bobby, what's a homeowners association going to do?
- 26:00Speaker 3: We can have some rules, some rules and decent behavior
- 26:03Speaker 3: for the first time in some of their lives, but
- 26:05Speaker 3: they want to they don't want to do it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of them don't want to do and
- 26:08Speaker 2: they say, well, we're crimping their style.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeh, sure, probably are crimping their style. People go up
- 26:12Speaker 1: to the lake man because they want to be free,
- 26:13Speaker 1: to be free, to be free to fish and see
- 26:16Speaker 1: the see the mountains and everything. What you know, what
- 26:20Speaker 1: he said, and he's right. People go up there not
- 26:22Speaker 1: to have rules. People go to the mountains to be
- 26:24Speaker 1: free to live in their cabins whoever the hell and
- 26:27Speaker 1: do their thing.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It's aretty, what do you think this is some kind
- 26:29Speaker 2: of a Hell's Angels run. We want to have rules
- 26:31Speaker 2: and regulations and so that so that my wife can
- 26:34Speaker 2: go around the lake inner bikini and not have some
- 26:36Speaker 2: guy run out and pull his pants down. That's all
- 26:38Speaker 2: we're saying.
- 26:39Speaker 1: No homeowners association is gonna make that any better. Okay,
- 26:43Speaker 1: no homewners association is gonna What are you gonna do?
- 26:45Speaker 1: Throw that guy out.
- 26:46Speaker 3: We could throw him out of the homeowners association and
- 26:48Speaker 3: he'd be humiliated.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Not to the point. If some guy's running out of
- 26:51Speaker 1: his cabin pull on his pants down, he's got bigger
- 26:53Speaker 1: problems than a homeowners association. Did you call the cops.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Did you call the cops?
- 27:01Speaker 3: Butler Lake doesn't have We have a constable. We have
- 27:04Speaker 3: Constable new Deckie of the Buttoner Constabulary, the what the
- 27:09Speaker 3: Buttoner Constabulary, that's the police force.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And there's one guy.
- 27:14Speaker 3: There's one guy.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he's the chiefs and he also does regular and
- 27:17Speaker 2: he does regular rounds. You know where you go it's
- 27:19Speaker 2: two am and all is well.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He does that like a town crier.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I don't know what they're called.
- 27:24Speaker 3: We don't know.
- 27:25Speaker 1: That's a town crier. That's like that goes back to
- 27:27Speaker 1: the sixteenth century. For god's sake.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Oh my god, mister, I don't know anything about it.
- 27:35Speaker 1: I mean, you've got to be kidding me. So the
- 27:36Speaker 1: guy goes around all night going it's two o'clock and
- 27:38Speaker 1: all is well.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Not all night. It's not gonna go to a place
- 27:42Speaker 2: he'll see it's three o'clock at all is well and
- 27:43Speaker 2: two o'clock is all well.
- 27:45Speaker 1: In other words, the guy's up all night.
- 27:47Speaker 2: No, it's only on the weekends.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And his name's Constable what Constable bub Ribner?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Right, See that's not the name you used. I was
- 27:55Speaker 2: using a place center name. Yeah, Constable bub Ribner And
- 27:59Speaker 2: he is the he's the head of the constabulary, which
- 28:02Speaker 2: means he's the chief Constable.
- 28:03Speaker 1: The chief of police.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah, so I don't know what you need from me.
- 28:07Speaker 3: But that's no, that's what it is. And and but
- 28:10Speaker 3: we don't have a lot of crime. In fact, we
- 28:12Speaker 3: don't have any crime. If we do have any serious crime,
- 28:14Speaker 3: they call the Fresno. If we do have any serious crime,
- 28:17Speaker 3: then it's the Home County Sheriffs. Hoan. Are you from California, Stearan,
- 28:23Speaker 3: You don't know.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I've never heard of Home County.
- 28:25Speaker 3: H O n E No, it's k E r N.
- 28:28Speaker 1: That's called Kern. Well whatever, Hoan County, Kern County, all right.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Phil County. That's like the way to say this, the
- 28:39Speaker 2: way you say, Jay Santos, Jayson, Kern County. It's the greatest.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Do me a favorite, you, bud. Yeah, don't put them
- 28:46Speaker 1: on after they've been drinking. Oh you think that's it.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I know, that's it. Hoan County. I'm being dragged around
- 28:52Speaker 1: on an inter or two of going.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Hi.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Guy comes running out, pulls his pants down. We need
- 28:55Speaker 1: an owners association. Okay, thanks to our good friend here.
