Speaker 1: So, Dan, what's the report card? What did you like
0:01
Speaker 1: and what needs work? I like the defense.
0:04
Speaker 2: I think, obviously, we were disruptive. We were aggressive. I
0:11
Speaker 2: just thought that we really got after them. We had
0:13
Speaker 2: some late breakdowns in the shot clock where we just
0:16
Speaker 2: lost our discipline and integrity.
0:17
Speaker 1: But I think for the most part.
0:19
Speaker 2: I was just happy with where the defense is at,
0:21
Speaker 2: the effort. You know, we played to our identity that way.
0:25
Speaker 1: And how about the play of Najai Hines? He comes
0:27
Speaker 1: off the bench, and I thought he really changed the
0:28
Speaker 1: game when he came off the bench. He did.
0:30
Speaker 2: I mean, it's, you know, he's a talent. I mean,
0:34
Speaker 2: we obviously need him, you know, to earn the starting job,
0:38
Speaker 2: but you've got to do that on a day-to-day basis.
0:41
Speaker 1: Nick Kamenya, solid game, including from the perimeter.
0:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, I just think it's opening night, you know, and
0:48
Speaker 2: I think we had a little jitters on offense, but
0:52
Speaker 2: you can see I think he fits how we play
0:54
Speaker 2: real well.
0:54
Speaker 1: Thanks, Dan. UConn coach Dan Hurley.
0:57
Speaker 2: Bob?
0:57
Speaker 1: Hello.
