- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Chuck Norris was chasing the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- 0:05Speaker 1: The rex was not chasing the jeep. Murray, Murray, you there.
- 0:09Speaker 1: You love sandwiches. Huh, let's go to uh eighty. It
- 0:14Speaker 1: was bo wow that Prime Time maybe had a crush
- 0:18Speaker 1: on Betty Rubble.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I honestly, until after the segment ended and we went
- 0:22Speaker 2: to commercial break, had no idea that Jonathan Coachman was black.
- 0:25Speaker 1: He caught them the game last night, although they won
- 0:28Speaker 1: the game. You're listening to to Gottson Company.
- 0:31Speaker 2: It is to Gods and Company, presented by FanDuel and
- 0:34Speaker 2: the FanDuel's Sportsbook. We start today and there's a lot
- 0:37Speaker 2: to get to NC DOUBLEA tournament. We have winners and
- 0:40Speaker 2: losers from the NCUBLEA Tournament, tailors, winners and losers from
- 0:44Speaker 2: over the weekend NC DOUBLEA tournament.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Related, there's flag football to discuss.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Is He's Willhouse and JSN signing a monster deal. But
- 0:53Speaker 2: we start with Israel telling us right before we started
- 0:57Speaker 2: today that he hates not small Iowa, not a city here,
- 1:02Speaker 2: a city there. He hates today the entire state of Iowa.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Good morning, is he morning morning? Yeah? They're all a unit.
- 1:11Speaker 3: They all hang out together the Iowans, and you know,
- 1:15Speaker 3: Iowa stayed beat my buddy's team. He's a big Kentucky fan.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And then obviously the end there with Iowa beating Florida.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I want to go off on Todd Golden.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I want to go off on these young men who
- 1:28Speaker 3: are playing basketball with my school's uniform on.
- 1:33Speaker 4: But really I just want to curse at Iowa because
- 1:36Speaker 4: they took.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Advantage of it, because they have their basketball team plays
- 1:40Speaker 3: exactly like their football team and try to slow everything
- 1:43Speaker 3: down and just try to find just the right time
- 1:46Speaker 3: to strike.
- 1:46Speaker 1: It's annoying.
- 1:47Speaker 3: And you know, if you're a team that misses a
- 1:50Speaker 3: few easy shots like the Gators did in the first
- 1:52Speaker 3: half and keep it close, then all of a sudden
- 1:54Speaker 3: or trail by it double figures, then all of a sudden,
- 1:56Speaker 3: you're nervous.
- 1:57Speaker 1: It just sucks.
- 1:58Speaker 4: And I really really really don't like Todd Golden.
- 2:01Speaker 3: So I'm torn inside whether I want to cheer for
- 2:04Speaker 3: his demise or be.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Sad the guy who won you a national championship last year.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I know, imagine imagine my conflict last year.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Waiting while you don't like the guy.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Right, Yes, so there's I mean stud Did you watch
- 2:20Speaker 3: the end of that game, even the highlight of it?
- 2:22Speaker 2: So I know they were up to h and they
- 2:24Speaker 2: had fouls to give. They didn't use those fouls. Iowa
- 2:27Speaker 2: ran a great play, a terrible defense defense by Florida, So.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I just walked around. I'll stop you at great play.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It wasn't a great play.
- 2:35Speaker 3: It was one one screen and full court pressure and
- 2:39Speaker 3: the Gators just misplayed that entirely.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You had Xavian Lee.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Just kind of standing there like, oh, I'm just gonna
- 2:45Speaker 3: let that guy go, and immediately upon inbounding the ball,
- 2:49Speaker 3: you have a three on two fast break.
- 2:51Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 2:52Speaker 5: I don't know, is see What do you think about
- 2:54Speaker 5: the new analytics discussion from that where Todd Golden in
- 2:57Speaker 5: his postgame said his plan was to foul the Iowa player. So,
- 3:03Speaker 5: worst case scenario, he makes both free throws, you have
- 3:06Speaker 5: the final shot, and again you're going to overtime in
- 3:09Speaker 5: that case, or what happened, You don't foul, you wind
- 3:13Speaker 5: up getting a you're giving up a three, and you
- 3:15Speaker 5: lose in regulations.
- 3:16Speaker 2: That sounds like Captain Hindsight type shit right there.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Man.
- 3:20Speaker 3: That sounds like trying to fix a huge mistake with
- 3:23Speaker 3: what would have been a crazier mistake. Are you telling
- 3:27Speaker 3: me you're going to put somebody on the line to
- 3:29Speaker 3: tie the game instead of.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Just playing defense.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Potentially tie the game, that's all you say. Potentially time,
- 3:35Speaker 2: you're giving him an opportunity to tie three.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I understand while.
- 3:38Speaker 3: You're frustrated, you're giving out two free throws, So it's
- 3:41Speaker 3: an easy opportunity to tie the game.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Right, make a shot? Yes, so crazy, it's just my work.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Is he just saying if you'll never know if you
- 3:53Speaker 6: foul there in that situation, what is your probability to
- 3:57Speaker 6: lose in regulation?
- 3:59Speaker 4: Honestly, you could lose on a tip in of a
- 4:02Speaker 4: misfree throw.
- 4:02Speaker 2: You could lose hold on a second So you make
- 4:05Speaker 2: a free throw and the second one clanks and someone
- 4:09Speaker 2: tips it in and they win.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Taylor asked that question for a good reason. It's zero
- 4:13Speaker 1: point one percent, that's all.
- 4:14Speaker 3: But it doesn't even have to be a tip in
- 4:16Speaker 3: because you saw how much time was left. There was
- 4:17Speaker 3: time for the Gators to get off an entire full
- 4:20Speaker 3: court of or full length of the court play, which,
- 4:23Speaker 3: by the way, what.
- 4:24Speaker 4: In the world are you doing this with Savi and
- 4:26Speaker 4: Lee just going full court.
- 4:28Speaker 3: And then it was the most I think this is
- 4:30Speaker 3: the phrase I use in a text to Taylor, the
- 4:32Speaker 3: most I don't want to win play I've ever seen
- 4:35Speaker 3: in my life. Yeah, turn the corner. Once you're there,
- 4:38Speaker 3: You're the only option, dude. The clock doesn't reset. Shoot
- 4:41Speaker 3: the damn ball. Throw it five feet in the air
- 4:44Speaker 3: if you have to just get that shot off right.
- 4:47Speaker 7: He was running so fast, he was running so fast
- 4:50Speaker 7: to the hoop, he forgot to shoot it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I I got to hear that one.
- 5:00Speaker 5: I kind of feel bad for Razavian League because he
- 5:03Speaker 5: comes over from Princeton.
- 5:05Speaker 1: He didn't.
- 5:06Speaker 5: He had nowhere.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Near so smart. That play was it.
- 5:09Speaker 5: He had nowhere near this season that Florida Gators thought
- 5:12Speaker 5: he was gonna have. He was solid in that game
- 5:14Speaker 5: up until that moment. Unfortunately for Florida, Xavian Lee was
- 5:18Speaker 5: just a player that Florida fans kind of thought he
- 5:21Speaker 5: was this entire season.
- 5:22Speaker 4: We knew it, We knew it was gonna come back
- 5:24Speaker 4: to by this.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Even Boogie flann like he doesn't even do that much
- 5:28Speaker 3: like he does enough.
- 5:29Speaker 1: He played great defense on Stirts.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I believe their name is for the Iowa player he
- 5:33Speaker 3: was fine, It's just how do you end it like that?
- 5:36Speaker 3: And the whole time I don't know if it was
- 5:40Speaker 3: just me or if it was the way. There's like
- 5:42Speaker 3: an arrogance to the way the Gators are playing. Ah,
- 5:44Speaker 3: we gotta get back in this thing. We're gonna take
- 5:46Speaker 3: the lead, We're gonna win this thing.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And then they're confident.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Yes, a good reason the confident. You know, but these
- 5:52Speaker 3: players won a championship last year.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But so are you telling me?
- 5:56Speaker 2: I just want to be clear here on what it
- 5:58Speaker 2: is you're saying as a former Ornegator, someone who cares
- 6:02Speaker 2: about this program?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Is it Xavi and Lee? Is that the guy you're
- 6:05Speaker 1: talking about? Yeah, say, we never talk about again. Are
- 6:09Speaker 1: you saying he didn't want to win the game? Is
- 6:12Speaker 1: that what we're saying? Yes, Okay, dude.
- 6:14Speaker 3: If you at whatever you are, if you at five six,
- 6:19Speaker 3: Stu Gatts finds himself in March somehow with eligibility again,
- 6:23Speaker 3: somehow in uniform, and you are turn the corner with
- 6:26Speaker 3: a chance to win the game as you leap for
- 6:29Speaker 3: a layup. Are you gonna throw that in the air
- 6:32Speaker 3: and hope it falls and you get your glory? Or
- 6:34Speaker 3: are you gonna just try to turn around and pass
- 6:37Speaker 3: it into a forest.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Of big men with zero point.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Five seconds on the clock left and say, ah, what
- 6:42Speaker 3: do you guys do it?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Sometimes you turn a corner and strange things happen. That's
- 6:46Speaker 2: all I'm saying. You don't know what's around the corner.
- 6:49Speaker 2: You're not certain what you're supposed to do once you're
- 6:51Speaker 2: met with what's around the corner.
- 6:53Speaker 1: The kid got lost. I mean, that's all I do know.
- 6:56Speaker 5: The basket is around the corner, and he didn't seem to.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Man around the corner was a chance at glory and
- 7:03Speaker 4: he had.
- 7:04Speaker 1: He passed on it.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Here's my chance that March Madness, all time great play,
- 7:09Speaker 3: four point five seconds left after a goofball play on defense,
- 7:14Speaker 3: I passed.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yes, Mikey, that's your perspective, like you, of course you
- 7:18Speaker 2: knew sitting on your couch what was right around the corner.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But Xavi and Lee in the moment he turned that
- 7:24Speaker 2: corner and he saw it from his perspective and got scared.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I mean, that's what happens sometimes.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Boom, but it was it was highly annoying and for me,
- 7:37Speaker 3: March Madness, it's over brackets, over somebody call me if
- 7:41Speaker 3: I won the one bracket that I'm in, send me
- 7:44Speaker 3: the money for me.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Right, it's just starting, it's just cranking up. I mean
- 7:48Speaker 2: that Eastern bracket. I'm telling you, the East bracket. The
- 7:52Speaker 2: Sweet sixteen is like a Final four. It is Saint
- 7:55Speaker 2: John's and Duke. It is Michigan State and Yukon. And
- 7:58Speaker 2: I am telling you that is what March is all about.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'll be glued to those teams. I cannot believe Rick
- 8:03Speaker 2: Pattino has Saint John's. Rick Patino himself back in the
- 8:07Speaker 2: Sweet sixteen. Rick Patino going to the Sweet sixteen with
- 8:11Speaker 2: Saint John's who hasn't been there in forever.
- 8:14Speaker 1: What an incredible job by him.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Seriously, an awesome job by one Rick Patino, who this
- 8:21Speaker 2: Saint John's team is going to go far in this tournament.
- 8:23Speaker 2: And I'm not certain how. I'm conflicted about it? Is
- 8:26Speaker 2: he because I don't like Rick Patino, So I'm not
- 8:29Speaker 2: even certain what to do. I'm excited about Saint John's
- 8:32Speaker 2: being there, I'm not excited about Rick Patino being their
- 8:34Speaker 2: head coach.
- 8:35Speaker 4: You know, I've started really watching Saint John's.
- 8:39Speaker 3: At the Big East, not the Biggast, the Conference tournament.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Uh, And I love the way they play.
- 8:46Speaker 3: It's very Rick Patino style, very aggressive on a bullish,
- 8:50Speaker 3: lot of fun. But where I got from that game
- 8:52Speaker 3: was Darvin Peterson h.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Twenty one points.
- 8:57Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, twenty one points, kind of random points
- 9:01Speaker 3: at the end where they really needed him. It was
- 9:03Speaker 3: just catching shoot a three whenever he touches the ball.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And it wasn't like he was getting double triple team
- 9:08Speaker 3: every time he touched it. Didn't again Xavian Lee, King
- 9:12Speaker 3: of the I don't want to win this thing, yes,
- 9:15Speaker 3: but Daron Peterson looked like he might have been on
- 9:17Speaker 3: that team because I don't. It didn't seem like he
- 9:19Speaker 3: really cared that much, wasn't. I know it's not his
- 9:22Speaker 3: call whether who's bringing the ball up, but if I got,
- 9:24Speaker 3: you know, my tournament life on the line, I'm probably
- 9:26Speaker 3: not gonna see this guy ever again. He's gonna go
- 9:28Speaker 3: to the pros ball. Put the ball in his hands
- 9:30Speaker 3: at all the time, forced the defense to play you
- 9:33Speaker 3: awkwardly so that you can adjust there. But dark Peterson,
- 9:36Speaker 3: I think he might have played his way out of
- 9:37Speaker 3: that number one pick somehow. He's still a top five
- 9:40Speaker 3: pick though, right, I mean he's still top right, yes,
- 9:44Speaker 3: but you know there's there's more than just talent, you know.
- 9:47Speaker 3: So I think, uh, I think he might have had
- 9:50Speaker 3: a bad tournament for him, but you know he's having
- 9:52Speaker 3: a great tournaments due oh good boys, Fred Hoiberg Nebraska.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to get him on today. Yes, yes I am.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And by the way, I offered Phil Martelly junior, who
- 10:02Speaker 2: lost over the weekend, if he wants to be a
- 10:05Speaker 2: college basketball analyst the rest of the way, I.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Told him he's welcome here. I did.
- 10:09Speaker 2: And when we're done with that, I'm told I told listen,
- 10:11Speaker 2: I told him Philadelphia Phillies season, you are welcome for
- 10:14Speaker 2: that Eagle season. You're welcome for that. I want that
- 10:17Speaker 2: fucking guy breaking down sports. I wanted to do sports radio.
- 10:20Speaker 2: He wants to do sports radio. It's his dream and
- 10:22Speaker 2: I want to provide that for him. So I am
- 10:24Speaker 2: working on getting him as well. Taylor has winners and
- 10:27Speaker 2: losers for the weekend. I'm very excited about this.
- 10:31Speaker 5: So do we want to start with a winner or
- 10:33Speaker 5: do we want to start with a loser?
- 10:34Speaker 1: I love starting with a loser. Yeah, okay, really we
- 10:37Speaker 1: just started with that. I was just gonna say, wasn't
- 10:39Speaker 1: that the whole open?
- 10:41Speaker 2: Well, no, he started with a loser. I brought it
- 10:43Speaker 2: back to a winner. And Richard that's Reatino, Richard Petito,
- 10:46Speaker 2: Rick Patito at Saint John's.
- 10:47Speaker 1: And so now I want to go back to losers.
- 10:49Speaker 1: That's all. That's all I'm saying there.
- 10:51Speaker 5: So my first loser is going back to that Saint
- 10:54Speaker 5: John's Kansas game, Kansas's late game fouling situation, Yeah, where
- 10:59Speaker 5: they only have two fouls, yeah game, and they decide
- 11:07Speaker 5: to use every foul to give, and on that last drive,
- 11:10Speaker 5: with whatever it was, three point nine seconds.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Couldn't use the foul to give?
- 11:14Speaker 5: Ye could have used the foul to give because that
- 11:17Speaker 5: defender looked terrified.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Together Taylor, the entire time, I'm yelling two things. Why
- 11:22Speaker 3: are we fouling so soon? At least wait till they
- 11:25Speaker 3: cross half court. You could have cut off at least
- 11:27Speaker 3: another couple of seconds and leave one, leave one for
- 11:32Speaker 3: the defense to screw up. Because if somebody like, if
- 11:35Speaker 3: you have three point nine seconds, you saw Xavian legal
- 11:38Speaker 3: full court for four.
- 11:39Speaker 1: And a half seconds, you.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Got three seconds, of course you're gonna be able to
- 11:43Speaker 3: put a defender in a vulnerable position and create a foul. Man,
- 11:46Speaker 3: would I have loved to have a foul right there
- 11:48Speaker 3: when he thinks he's going to the basket and getting
- 11:50Speaker 3: a game winner. But no, he kept going with the
- 11:53Speaker 3: stop at five. Please, I'm yelling that. Obviously you can't
- 11:58Speaker 3: hear me, right, he is unhinged. Only March could do
- 12:02Speaker 3: this to you. What happens, dude? So admittedly I pulled
- 12:06Speaker 3: back off of college basketball for a while, right, and
- 12:08Speaker 3: then the Gators last year brought me back in. So
- 12:11Speaker 3: now I'm watching this year more college basketball. And there's
- 12:14Speaker 3: a lot of you know, NBA draft top heavy draft situations,
- 12:18Speaker 3: there's a lot of players, right, and they dragged me
- 12:21Speaker 3: back in, and I just see all this terrible play
- 12:24Speaker 3: and terrible coaching compared to NBA style stuff, and I'm
- 12:27Speaker 3: just like, good lord, it's maddening, especially.
- 12:29Speaker 1: When you're investing. I mean, these are a bunch of kids.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I mean, come on, their kids are not NBA players
- 12:35Speaker 2: that pros yet I mean, cut them some slack.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I mean, when you're getting paid, the adults are getting paid.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Stu my biggest winner from the weekend. Yes, I think
- 12:48Speaker 5: this one is unquestioned. John cal Powry Arkansas in back
- 12:53Speaker 5: to back Sweet sixteens. Yes, arguably the best player in
- 12:56Speaker 5: the tournament. Darius a Cup junior average thirty points per
- 12:59Speaker 5: game in the first two rounds. John Calpari is the
- 13:04Speaker 5: Drake Lyric I had someone tell me I fell off
- 13:06Speaker 5: who I needed to, that he needed to be humbled
- 13:09Speaker 5: a bit at Kentucky. But once he left Kentucky, that
- 13:13Speaker 5: fire was re lit in cal Pari. And we're kind
- 13:15Speaker 5: of seeing vintage coach cal right now.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Yeah, we are back in the sweet sixteen.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Him and Rick Patino were in the Sweet sixteen. I
- 13:23Speaker 2: mean this is special. I have no idea what lyric
- 13:26Speaker 2: he just recited there.
- 13:28Speaker 1: That's Drake, but it was it today.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yo.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Wait wait, I can I compliment Taylor's amazing timely take
- 13:39Speaker 3: here with Arkansas and John cal Powi. I'm just gonna
- 13:43Speaker 3: give you a number, Taylor, and you tell me what
- 13:45Speaker 3: you think this number is. Okay, twenty five is that
- 13:49Speaker 3: how much Kentucky lost by No, that is the total
- 13:53Speaker 3: number of the seedings of the two teams at Arkansas
- 13:55Speaker 3: beat a thirteen seed and a twelve seed.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Okay, So he was in front of you, what are
- 14:01Speaker 1: you supposed to do. It's mar Man. They had twelve
- 14:05Speaker 1: Where is I mean?
- 14:07Speaker 3: They had the one twelve seed they had to beat
- 14:09Speaker 3: in the and then get to the sweet sixteen after
- 14:11Speaker 3: beating a Hawaii team that you know, we know, we
- 14:14Speaker 3: have that one listener on the radio show who loves Hawaii,
- 14:16Speaker 3: but they had no business in that tournament.
- 14:18Speaker 5: What do you want coach cal to do in his
- 14:19Speaker 5: postgame press conference apologize for not playing better seats?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not his fault.
- 14:23Speaker 4: I mean, I'm just say, biggest winner of the weekend.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I don't know if it's a guy who had to
- 14:28Speaker 3: play a thirteen and twelve seed to advance a.
- 14:30Speaker 7: Few years from now, he's going to say I was
- 14:32Speaker 7: in the sweet sixteen.
- 14:33Speaker 5: He's not going to say I beat a thirteen and
- 14:34Speaker 5: a twelve to get there.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Back to batch sweet sixteenes, yes, so is he.
- 14:41Speaker 5: Took one of my biggest losers from the weekend. It
- 14:43Speaker 5: was the Florida Gators, the only one seed that didn't
- 14:45Speaker 5: make it to the sweet sixteen. So I'll go ahead
- 14:48Speaker 5: to another biggest loser, Cinderella. The only double digit seat
- 14:54Speaker 5: in the Sweet sixteen is number eleven Texas, who has
- 14:59Speaker 5: the bigest budget in all of college sports.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Cinderella and Texas to not go out together in.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Texas with the biggest budget in all of college sports,
- 15:08Speaker 2: be a Cinderella tailor put that on the ball, it
- 15:11Speaker 2: seems it seems impossible. I mean, they're a major school
- 15:15Speaker 2: from a major conference. There are no Cinderella's. I'm okay
- 15:18Speaker 2: with that. I don't mind that. I'm fine with that.
- 15:21Speaker 5: And I think it kind of goes to the question
- 15:23Speaker 5: that everybody's asking today, did Nil kill the Cinderella, because
- 15:27Speaker 5: now it feels like, while yes, those mid majors are
- 15:32Speaker 5: few and far between in terms of getting to the
- 15:34Speaker 5: second weekend in the tournament because they didn't get in
- 15:37Speaker 5: last year either when coach Callen Arkansas was the only
- 15:40Speaker 5: double digits last year to make the tournament, But now
- 15:43Speaker 5: it feels like there's more parody in the sport where
- 15:46Speaker 5: the parody is just among the major conferences, where a
- 15:50Speaker 5: team like Iowa can go ten and ten in the
- 15:52Speaker 5: Big Ten or a team like Texas can go nine
- 15:54Speaker 5: to nine in the SEC.
- 15:56Speaker 2: So Izzy, this is interesting because what's happened here with
- 15:58Speaker 2: college sports is yes, by the way, it has killed
- 16:00Speaker 2: the Cinderella, because the Second, all the majors realize there's
- 16:04Speaker 2: someone really really good on one of these Cinderella teams.
- 16:07Speaker 2: He is no longer going to be on that Cinderella team.
- 16:10Speaker 2: He's going to be playing for tooth the following year.
- 16:12Speaker 2: And so what this has allowed coaches to do is
- 16:15Speaker 2: if they're not sure from the major schools, here is he.
- 16:18Speaker 2: If they're not if they're not certain one hundred certain
- 16:21Speaker 2: on a guy coming out of high school, they can
- 16:23Speaker 2: let him.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Go where he wants to go for a year, knowing that.
- 16:26Speaker 2: If he turns out to be the player they thought
- 16:28Speaker 2: maybe he would turn out to be, they can go
- 16:31Speaker 2: snatch him in the transfer portal.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 3: I mean, look, I still think there will be your Cinderellas.
- 16:37Speaker 3: I still think there will be a team you know,
- 16:40Speaker 3: let's say like a high point that to your points
- 16:42Speaker 3: to does have a player that maybe hasn't been totally
- 16:44Speaker 3: recognized yet and maybe is reaching that ceiling and he's
- 16:48Speaker 3: doing it on that Cinderella type of team. But like,
- 16:51Speaker 3: what I recognized with Texas is like, okay, like myself,
- 16:56Speaker 3: who is in sports? A lot of people watching this
- 16:59Speaker 3: no idea who Texas players are? Right, So really the
- 17:03Speaker 3: only reason they don't feel like a Cinderella is because
- 17:05Speaker 3: it says Texas on the front. Because I don't know
- 17:08Speaker 3: these players. They're an eleven seed. That's a Cinderella story history, yea,
- 17:12Speaker 3: by our standard, right playing game. Yeah, so that's historically,
- 17:15Speaker 3: by our standards, this is a Cinderella, but we don't
- 17:17Speaker 3: like it because they have all that money to spend,
- 17:19Speaker 3: and so it's just it really just depends on how
- 17:21Speaker 3: you want to view it. And so you know, right now,
- 17:25Speaker 3: the way most people would say it anyways, is, yeah,
- 17:27Speaker 3: give me a Cinderella story in the first weekend, maybe
- 17:29Speaker 3: through the Sweet sixteen, but after that, you know, give
- 17:31Speaker 3: me all the good teams, give me the blue bloods,
- 17:32Speaker 3: let me see the best on best. And we're a
- 17:34Speaker 3: little closer to that, and we don't have that one
- 17:37Speaker 3: Cinderella story that again was probably going to die off
- 17:40Speaker 3: by this Thursday Friday anyway. So I'm not really too
- 17:43Speaker 3: worried about that whole concept of it. But it is
- 17:48Speaker 3: a change. I guess you could.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Say, yeah, I'm fine, Like, listen, I'm fine with the
- 17:52Speaker 2: way the Sweet sixteen worked out. I don't need I'm
- 17:54Speaker 2: fine with Cinderella's first round, second round I do not
- 17:57Speaker 2: want Cinderella's getting in the way of my final four.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Before I want is Saint John's, Duke, Michigan State, and Yukon.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Unfortunately they play in the sweet sixteen, so so I.
- 18:08Speaker 5: I have a quick winner and then I have a
- 18:11Speaker 5: longer winner the quick winner, because they're kind of related quickly.
- 18:15Speaker 5: And on the topic of the parody in the sports,
- 18:19Speaker 5: anybody who watched Nebraska Vanderbilt this weekend, I'm putting you
- 18:23Speaker 5: all in the winter category because that was the game
- 18:25Speaker 5: of the tournament, and then the.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Other winter St. John's and Kansas that wasn't the game
- 18:31Speaker 1: of the tournament.
- 18:31Speaker 4: Now it's close close in consideration.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh sorry sorry.
- 18:37Speaker 5: The other winner that I have is the eventual winner
- 18:40Speaker 5: of Nebraska Iowa, because if you ask both those teams separately,
- 18:45Speaker 5: getting to the Sweet sixteen would almost always be just
- 18:48Speaker 5: a house money game, unless unless they're playing each other. Now,
- 18:55Speaker 5: now there's some stakes attached to it.
- 18:57Speaker 3: I was I'm glad you said that before I got
- 18:59Speaker 3: to it, because I was not going to say that
- 19:01Speaker 3: exact same thing, but I was going to say in
- 19:02Speaker 3: terms of potential cinderellas, even though it's a single seed
- 19:06Speaker 3: or single digit seed, that number nine Iowa, Like, it's
- 19:09Speaker 3: not just that they are the lowest seed, right, or.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Are they the lowest seed of it? Sorry, the second.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Lowest seed to Texas. Yeah, it's their style of play.
- 19:18Speaker 3: They play kind of like a mid major, kind of
- 19:21Speaker 3: like a you know, an IVY League type of school.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Really work the offense, really work the play clock again,
- 19:27Speaker 3: kind of like their football team. A punt isn't the
- 19:29Speaker 3: worst thing in the world. A twenty four second shot
- 19:32Speaker 3: clock violation is not the worst thing in the world
- 19:34Speaker 3: for the Iowa guys, not that that's what they really do,
- 19:37Speaker 3: but they're a fun team if you like that sort
- 19:40Speaker 3: of Indiana Hoosiers type of a style of play.
- 19:43Speaker 1: And you know, if they make a run, they'd be
- 19:44Speaker 1: that Cinderella. Is Iowa much more of a Cinderella than
- 19:47Speaker 1: Texas could be.
- 19:49Speaker 7: Like, I feel like, although it's nine and it's a
- 19:51Speaker 7: single digit, I feel like they are so much more
- 19:54Speaker 7: of a Cinderella than Texas because of all that money
- 19:57Speaker 7: and that program.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and there's the SEC element of it too.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Everybody.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I mean, I was at a big conference too, but
- 20:03Speaker 3: people seem to hate the SEC even more.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Why are you guys searching for Cinderella. There is no Cinderella.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 20:09Speaker 1: That's have you seen Bridgerton? I think that's what it
- 20:11Speaker 1: feel about. I don't care that Texas came from the
- 20:14Speaker 1: play in game.
- 20:14Speaker 2: They're Texas and they have more money than any university
- 20:18Speaker 2: in college basketball, college football, college sports. There is no Cinderella.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I'm fine with that. Why are we trying to make
- 20:24Speaker 2: one make something out of nothing?
- 20:26Speaker 1: I don't want eye? Would it be a Cinderella? They're
- 20:28Speaker 1: too good. March, Yeah, you need one, you just won March. No.
- 20:35Speaker 5: I want Chalk, I mean I do so I have
- 20:38Speaker 5: my final two losers.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Oh, there's two more.
- 20:41Speaker 5: People who say old coaches wouldn't be able to survive
- 20:44Speaker 5: the nil era. Rick Bettino seventy three, Thomas Rick Barnes
- 20:50Speaker 5: seventy one, Kelvin Samson seventy, John cow Party sixty seven,
- 20:53Speaker 5: all advancing to the sweet sixteen.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Where is Rick Burne's coaching Tennessee?
- 20:58Speaker 5: What been there for like twelve years now?
- 21:02Speaker 1: I think what you know? What beats age money? Well,
- 21:07Speaker 1: that's true.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Tennessee is an annoying team that you watching. You're just like,
- 21:14Speaker 3: they can't win it all? Why don't they just lose
- 21:16Speaker 3: and go home, but they're gonna fight at the end
- 21:18Speaker 3: and pull out a game against Virginia. It's like, oh,
- 21:20Speaker 3: come on, you're just gonna lose to Iowa State.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Yes, is there a team here is?
- 21:24Speaker 2: If the team's remaining, if they won the national championship,
- 21:27Speaker 2: you would be shocked.
- 21:28Speaker 1: You're gonna say Texas, right, Tennessee won.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Really I would probably be more shocked by Tennessee winning
- 21:35Speaker 3: it all than Texas winning at all.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Let's see anybody else.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, Nebraska, No, you cannot be surprised there
- 21:47Speaker 2: are four started.
- 21:51Speaker 1: What the mayor? I mean, no, you can't. You can
- 21:55Speaker 1: be surprised.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I would be surprised if the team that has never
- 21:57Speaker 3: won a tournament game won the tournament after their first
- 22:00Speaker 3: game in it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: So, yeah, that would be pretty much a shocker.
- 22:05Speaker 5: To be fair, I don't think Indiana would want a
- 22:07Speaker 5: playoff game.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Before this, I was gonna say, can you imagine a
- 22:10Speaker 2: world in which Indiana is dominating football and Nebraska is
- 22:14Speaker 2: dominating basketball?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Taylor put that on the poll. Do you want to
- 22:18Speaker 1: live in that world?
- 22:19Speaker 2: A world where Indiana dominates college football and Nebraska, who
- 22:24Speaker 2: was dominating college football now dominates college basketball.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Oh sounds American though.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, sounds very middle American. Yes.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Then my final loser from the weekend, Yeah, every blue
- 22:38Speaker 5: blood not named Duke, Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA all eliminated
- 22:44Speaker 5: the first weekend, Kentucky with their worst tournament loss since
- 22:48Speaker 5: nineteen seventy two.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Wow.
- 22:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't get a chance to talk with you
- 22:52Speaker 3: about this, Taylor, at least not on the air. What
- 22:54Speaker 3: did you think of your boy Hubert Davis's last words
- 22:58Speaker 3: potentially on that podium and then after where now you
- 23:02Speaker 3: get unc talking about maybe we're just discussing our options
- 23:06Speaker 3: at head coach.
- 23:07Speaker 5: I'll tell you right now, is he We're not discussing
- 23:10Speaker 5: our options?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Oh? Really, We're got one option.
- 23:13Speaker 5: We're just finalizing the language in how this ends. I've
- 23:18Speaker 5: said my piece on Hubert Davis. I just want to
- 23:21Speaker 5: remember the good times with Hubert Davis. He beat Duke
- 23:24Speaker 5: in the final four. That final four run was awesome.
- 23:27Speaker 5: He ended coach kse career with the loss at Cameron Indoor.
- 23:31Speaker 5: He beats Duke this year. The Hubert Davis era for
- 23:34Speaker 5: Carolina is over. We're on to bigger and better things.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Thank you, Hubert Davis for your time. Let's get our
- 23:42Speaker 5: next coach.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Do you feel responsible at all if indeed Hubert Davis
- 23:47Speaker 2: gets fired, because you will be a reason.
- 23:49Speaker 5: So so I don't think I am a reason. If
- 23:53Speaker 5: you had to list out.
- 23:54Speaker 2: The reasons, if you had to list out the reasons
- 23:58Speaker 2: these microphones have power, man, And I'm telling you, if you.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Had a list out the reasons, I'm probably somewhere in
- 24:04Speaker 5: the seventies, Hubert Davis's postgame press conferences are probably in
- 24:09Speaker 5: the top five, just all of them, or just the
- 24:11Speaker 5: last one, the last one specifically. But is he this
- 24:15Speaker 5: is this is a this is a every lost thing
- 24:17Speaker 5: with Hubert Davis where he refuses to take accountability.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Is he always sucking on some sort of candy or
- 24:25Speaker 3: some sort of because I don't know what was more
- 24:28Speaker 3: offensive about that last one. And I'm glad we don't
- 24:30Speaker 3: have the sound to play right here because it would
- 24:32Speaker 3: just drive me crazy. It's nails on a chalkboard. I
- 24:35Speaker 3: don't know what's more offensive his brief just idiotic answers.
- 24:40Speaker 3: Let's just say, okay, just like, how do how do
- 24:42Speaker 3: you even feel like you're gonna get away with these
- 24:45Speaker 3: answers in front of other people who speak the same
- 24:48Speaker 3: language as you. But the fact that he had a
- 24:51Speaker 3: a lozenge of some sort in his mouth the entire
- 24:54Speaker 3: time making annoying noises. I would fire him for that,
- 24:58Speaker 3: Like it's whatever the opposite of as M is, Like
- 25:01Speaker 3: people do that should go straight to jail.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Okay, he needs to just get lose the job.
- 25:05Speaker 1: It was just embarrassing.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And again, if he gave a better press conference, I
- 25:10Speaker 3: think his job might still be there.
- 25:12Speaker 4: But after that, I think it was a nail in
- 25:14Speaker 4: the coffin.
- 25:16Speaker 5: So whatever that was, that was probably somewhere outside of
- 25:18Speaker 5: the top ten. The boosters not wanting to give him
- 25:21Speaker 5: money to fundraise for next season and field God's number one.
- 25:25Speaker 5: The competitive team is probably.

- 27:15Speaker 1: In New York, Taylor put it on the pole.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Should tom Izzo automatically just go to the sweet sixteen?
- 27:34Speaker 2: The need for him to play the first and second
- 27:36Speaker 2: round seems unnecessary.
- 27:38Speaker 1: That team is always in the sweet sixteen. He has
- 27:41Speaker 1: had no trouble.
- 27:43Speaker 2: He has had no trouble relating to college basketball here
- 27:46Speaker 2: in twenty twenty six, he has adjusted just fine.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Tom Izzo. Every single year, that man is in the
- 27:53Speaker 1: sweet sixteen?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Is he?
- 27:55Speaker 1: What'd you make of the flag football stuff over the weekend?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Tom Brady is back. He looked good.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Well, I mean he looks like a literally like a
- 28:04Speaker 3: new person. So nothing that he does surprises me physically.
- 28:10Speaker 1: But did you know what this did? You guys know
- 28:14Speaker 1: what this event was?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Did it just kind of creep up on you and
- 28:16Speaker 3: all of a sudden you see like Joe Burrow, you know,
- 28:19Speaker 3: making all these moves and stuff and you're like, hey,
- 28:20Speaker 3: what was that or did you know this was coming?
- 28:23Speaker 1: I thought it was Olympic tryouts or something.
- 28:25Speaker 7: No idea, Nike, I had no idea, but I do
- 28:29Speaker 7: have a conspiracy as to what it actually was.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Okay, Taylor, So I didn't have any idea.
- 28:35Speaker 5: And I can miss football as much as anybody in
- 28:38Speaker 5: the world. I will never miss it enough to watch this.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I was like I saw highlights and it was one
- 28:46Speaker 3: of those deals where it's just like, oh, that's cool whatever.
- 28:49Speaker 3: And then like ten minutes later, I was like, wait
- 28:51Speaker 3: a second, this isn't the Pro Bowl season, Like what
- 28:54Speaker 3: is happening here?
- 28:55Speaker 1: Why is Joe Burrow playing so hard in flag football?
- 28:57Speaker 3: And then I finally looked it up and I was like, oh,
- 29:00Speaker 3: this is a crazy event. Like, first of all, just
- 29:04Speaker 3: what it's called. It's just a huge oxymoron. Is an
- 29:07Speaker 3: inaugural fanatics flam flag football classic? How could it be
- 29:13Speaker 3: the inaugural and the classic? It doesn't really be a
- 29:15Speaker 3: classic if it's the first one.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Put it on a pole tailor could it be a
- 29:18Speaker 2: classic if it's the first time you're playing the damn game?
- 29:21Speaker 3: Just the first of its kind event and it's like
- 29:25Speaker 3: Olympic style flag football rules whatever. There was three teams,
- 29:28Speaker 3: two of them made up of current so a former
- 29:31Speaker 3: NFL players and celebs, and then one of them was
- 29:34Speaker 3: Team USA Flag Football and spoiler alert, Team USA flag
- 29:37Speaker 3: Football dominated because you know they play flag football. It's
- 29:39Speaker 3: a totally different game than some of the ones that
- 29:41Speaker 3: these guys are playing. But Wheelhouse, Stu, did you see
- 29:46Speaker 3: how hard Joe Burrow was playing?
- 29:48Speaker 1: Like?
- 29:49Speaker 3: He made cuts that if you would have set after
- 29:51Speaker 3: the game, Oh, Joe Burrow tore his ACL, you would
- 29:53Speaker 3: have pointed exactly to which play he tore his ACL.
- 29:56Speaker 4: And it's like, why are they playing like this so hard?
- 30:00Speaker 1: And I know he's not playing anymore.
- 30:01Speaker 3: But Rob Gronkowski, for example, pulled a hamstring after scoring
- 30:04Speaker 3: a touchdown. Okay, so it's like why. My mind just
- 30:08Speaker 3: I was like, why are they playing this hard? What
- 30:11Speaker 3: is this event? And obviously the first thing that came
- 30:13Speaker 3: to mind is they must be getting paid so much money?
- 30:17Speaker 3: And then I realized that this actually was an event
- 30:20Speaker 3: that was supposed to be played in Saudi Arabia, but
- 30:23Speaker 3: they changed it and moved it to LA because of
- 30:25Speaker 3: obviously ongoing international war concerns, and I'm like, there had
- 30:30Speaker 3: to have been like live style, like seventy five million
- 30:34Speaker 3: to one hundred million dollars type of payment for Joe
- 30:38Speaker 3: Burrow to be playing like that, for Jalen Hurts to
- 30:40Speaker 3: be playing at all. This is absolutely what the case was.
- 30:43Speaker 3: And I was just like, man, that's the NFL. Just
- 30:47Speaker 3: who got super lucky that nobody got hurt in that
- 30:49Speaker 3: play in that game, because I don't think that could
- 30:51Speaker 3: happen again. And that's what the other thing that I
- 30:53Speaker 3: thought of is just like the reason it kind of
- 30:55Speaker 3: snuck up on people is because if the NFL really
- 30:58Speaker 3: knew that Joe Burrow was going to be doing that,
- 31:00Speaker 3: they'd be like, please don't, please don't. And so I
- 31:02Speaker 3: don't know. It was all very confusing to me.
- 31:04Speaker 2: I don't know if you could stop him though, Like
- 31:06Speaker 2: I'm not certain even if the NFL wanted to stop
- 31:09Speaker 2: prevent him from doing it, because you're right, like, someone's
- 31:11Speaker 2: gonna get hurt playing a meaningless flag football game, although it's.
- 31:14Speaker 1: A classic, and that's why Joe Burrow was playing so hard.
- 31:16Speaker 2: I mean, when the classic comes around, you take that
- 31:19Speaker 2: thing very very seriously. Everyone knows that I mean, duh,
- 31:22Speaker 2: he pulled a hammy because he was taking it serious.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Its a classic, that's what you do. You take classics
- 31:26Speaker 1: very seriously.
- 31:27Speaker 4: But someone is going to get a tournament classic now.
- 31:30Speaker 2: But you're right, someone's gonna get hurt and the NFL
- 31:33Speaker 2: is gonna be upset and they're gonna pull the plug.
- 31:35Speaker 2: What you're saying here is Michael Rubin and Fanatics is
- 31:37Speaker 2: an NFL sponsor.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Okay, partner, I should say.
- 31:41Speaker 2: But Michael Rubin paid these guys a lot of money
- 31:43Speaker 2: to play in a meaningless flag football game, and I
- 31:46Speaker 2: understand why fans would be upset with it. They're not
- 31:49Speaker 2: because no one got seriously injured. But if God forbid,
- 31:52Speaker 2: Joe Burrow did get hurt in that game is one
- 31:54Speaker 2: hundred percent correct, the conversation we'd be having today would
- 31:58Speaker 2: not be about it's funny, because this is like a
- 32:00Speaker 2: second or third fourth topic today when you're doing a
- 32:04Speaker 2: sports radio show, because everyone's going to talk about March.
- 32:06Speaker 2: But if Joe Burrow got hurt, every show in America
- 32:10Speaker 2: would be leading with why are we playing a meaningless
- 32:13Speaker 2: flag football game?
- 32:14Speaker 3: If Burrow got hurt, half of Cincinnati would turn into
- 32:18Speaker 3: the greatest investigative reporters of all time, trying to figure
- 32:22Speaker 3: out who's responsible for this and how much money he
- 32:24Speaker 3: actually got paid to see if it was worth it,
- 32:26Speaker 3: one hundred percent of the people of Cincinnati would be
- 32:29Speaker 3: in an uproar if they're not already.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Yes, So you had that takeaway from the game, and
- 32:33Speaker 2: I had to take away that Tom Brady could still
- 32:36Speaker 2: sling it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I'll take them on my flag football team any day.
- 32:42Speaker 1: I'll take them on my NFL team any day.
- 32:44Speaker 3: He looked like the best of the NFL or former
- 32:46Speaker 3: NFL quarterbacks still out there.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He looked like he was better than Jalen Hurts.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Well, the TV USA flag football team looked like they
- 32:55Speaker 3: dominated Jalen Hurts, like they were just a very And
- 33:00Speaker 3: I think you know, in terms of the NFL, their
- 33:03Speaker 3: best chance to compete was not with the Joe Burrows
- 33:05Speaker 3: of the world, right or the Jalen Hurtzes of the world.
- 33:07Speaker 3: It's smaller, quicker, faster players. But yeah, that Team USA
- 33:11Speaker 3: went out there to show something.
- 33:13Speaker 7: That's exactly what I'm thinking that this event was blatantly
- 33:16Speaker 7: to show the NFL players.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Aren't going to play in the Olympics. We don't need them.
- 33:21Speaker 7: This was This was the Russians beating the NHL All
- 33:24Speaker 7: Stars before the miracle on ice team. This was them saying,
- 33:30Speaker 7: stop stop creating your NFL super teams that are gonna
- 33:33Speaker 7: go play in the Olympics, because it's not going to happen.
- 33:36Speaker 7: The regular flag the team USA flag football team outscored
- 33:40Speaker 7: everybody else one oh six to forty four.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Yeah, like that.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Was that was They just paid Joe Burrow probably one
- 33:48Speaker 3: hundred million dollars to put his career at risk.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Ye kind of worth it, though, I mean, I mean
- 33:54Speaker 2: one hundred million dollars or flag. If you're gonna go down,
- 33:56Speaker 2: go down to that game, like get up going down
- 33:58Speaker 2: for the bet, right, it's more important.
- 34:00Speaker 3: If we see him like sharing a drink with John
- 34:02Speaker 3: Rahm anytime soon, we'll.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Know he got that.
- 34:04Speaker 3: He got that up to nine figures.
- 34:08Speaker 5: Mikey Is is derell to set the flag football quarterback
- 34:11Speaker 5: better at his sport than Patrick Mahomes is at his sport.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Oh no, stop it, wow, I.
- 34:17Speaker 5: Can't no, but sure gonna need some more evidence.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Are you saying, are you saying just set such a
- 34:24Speaker 2: good flag football quarterback?
- 34:25Speaker 1: There is not an NFL quarterback who could take his spot?
- 34:28Speaker 1: Is that what we're I think they kind of proved it.
- 34:31Speaker 5: I saw, I saw Jalen Hurts throwing pick six is
- 34:33Speaker 5: left and right.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I understand that. But if Jalen Hurts wants to set
- 34:37Speaker 1: his job, he's gonna get it. Is he not? No?
- 34:39Speaker 2: No, because of who he is, not because of what exactly, Yes,
- 34:43Speaker 2: solely based on who he is, that's is he?
- 34:46Speaker 1: No? I think?
- 34:47Speaker 3: So, you know how the NFL figured out that somebody
- 34:49Speaker 3: like Lamar Jackson can play quarterback by playing Lamar Jackson
- 34:52Speaker 3: at quarterback?
- 34:53Speaker 1: The last football quarterbacks.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Have been Lamar Jackson ish for a long time, and
- 34:58Speaker 3: so that's why they they're It's just a little bit
- 35:00Speaker 3: different than an NFL quarterback.
- 35:02Speaker 5: So my biggest takeaway watching those games, flag football almost
- 35:06Speaker 5: looks like a completely different sports than football. The guys
- 35:09Speaker 5: out there avoiding tackles. They're basically like crab walking.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Yes, so yeah, it's funny that, by the way, joining
- 35:16Speaker 3: my flag football league. We start this Saturday. I got
- 35:18Speaker 3: a lot of news to break to him. I don't
- 35:19Speaker 3: know how happy he's gonna be about.
- 35:20Speaker 2: This, Jesus, but uh yeah, just finding out about this
- 35:23Speaker 2: I mean, he knows, he knows he's in the league.
- 35:25Speaker 4: What he doesn't know is that it's gonna be iron
- 35:27Speaker 4: Man type of shit.
- 35:29Speaker 1: He's gonna have to play a lot. This is payback
- 35:32Speaker 1: for softball. But don't worry. They don't allow the dip
- 35:36Speaker 1: in our league.
- 35:36Speaker 3: And they actually don't allow jump cuts either because they
- 35:38Speaker 3: say it's player safety.
- 35:39Speaker 1: So it's a little easier to pull flags in our league.
- 35:44Speaker 1: You need jump cuts, is he? I mean, you know what,
- 35:47Speaker 1: They look so good right.
- 35:48Speaker 4: I don't know why they don't allow jump cuts in
- 35:50Speaker 4: our league.
- 35:50Speaker 1: It's stupid. It drives me up a wall. It doesn't
- 35:52Speaker 1: feel like a real league to be. They gotta keep
- 35:54Speaker 1: one foot on the ground for some reason.
- 35:56Speaker 2: You take the jump cuts out of flag football? Is
- 35:57Speaker 2: a really flag football? I mean yeah, right, question.
- 36:02Speaker 8: Flag football game in a softball game at the same time.
- 36:05Speaker 5: Which one are we going to?
- 36:08Speaker 1: Know where?
- 36:08Speaker 2: I know where is He's going, and know where Taylor
- 36:11Speaker 2: is going to He's going the center field.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Yes,
