A man is now facing murder charges after a deadly shooting in Riverside County that left 36-year-old Ryan Ankenbauer dead nearly three weeks later. The suspect, 42-year-old Eric Gomez, was arrested just 10 days after the July 7th incident and initially charged with attempted murder — but prosecutors are now seeking to upgrade the charges to murder as the victim succumbed to his injuries.
