Footsteps in the Snow: An Irish Haunting
Alan McDonald of The Rooted Soul recounts a chilling pub encounter and tells a classic Irish Christmas ghost story about footsteps in the snow and a friend who returns from beyond. He explores Irish folklore — banshees, fairies, and their cautions — draws parallels with djinn, and finishes with a selection of his own horror poems.
This episode blends personal experience, traditional tales, and reflective poetry for a quiet, spooky listening perfect for the season.
