- 0:01We are recording and I Bunny use.
- 0:04Oh, you do? That's adorable.
- 0:06Is that a wearing a onesie as well as Yeah.
- 0:09OK, it is a onesie this. Looks like the kind of onesie
- 0:12that might have that little button flap at the back.
- 0:14It does. It does.
- 0:16Well, there's no button. I did not.
- 0:17There's just a flap. There's.
- 0:19No button flap, it's always open.
- 0:21No, but easy breeze. It's always open my butts out
- 0:24there. Welcome to Multiple Nerdghasm
- 0:29with your hosts Matt, Luke, and Dan.
- 0:33Multiple Nerdgasm, Your guide to all things nerdy.
- 0:45All right, are you? Are you where the wild things
- 0:48are? Is that what this is?
- 0:49Actually, I think it might be a weird wolfing.
- 0:51Night Max for his wolf costume, and made mischief of one kind
- 0:56and another. I don't actually know that story
- 0:59I just got. That's one of my favorite kids
- 1:01books. It's it's so beautifully
- 1:04written. He just goes off and has fun
- 1:07with monsters. Well, he doesn't really.
- 1:09Yeah, his mum tells him off for being dressed like you and he
- 1:17won't come down for dinner. What?
- 1:19Are you dressing like Luke for? You're dressed like a 45 year
- 1:24old hipster and then. I prefer to think of myself as
- 1:28being punk, not. OK.
- 1:30Yeah. Yeah, that's fair.
- 1:31Noted. Yeah, then his room slowly turns
- 1:36into the woods and A and his bed turns into a boat and he sails
- 1:40off across the ocean and the the wild things make him their king.
- 1:43And then he smells his dinner and he's like, Oh my God.
- 1:47You're not going to hang around where you're king.
- 1:50No, he wants his dinner. Silly story.
- 1:54What was Can I go back to the whole hipster thing?
- 1:56Sure. I have been thinking about it
- 1:58and I do want to say I think I'm more punk than hipster because I
- 2:01think hipsters care about their look.
- 2:03I don't. You care in a different way.
- 2:07Yeah, everyone who cares about don't care about their look but
- 2:10has a very distinct look raises questions for me.
- 2:14I just buy stuff that's on sale that's colourful.
- 2:17Yeah. I'll never buy stuff at your
- 2:19full price. It's true, I've been processing
- 2:22with his beer. What's wrong with colour full
- 2:26price? Like he's not covered up your
- 2:27beer label because we obviously we don't want to accidentally
- 2:30imply that we're sponsored by any particular Oh, it's VP.
- 2:34It just says bid up and that refers, that refers to Luke's
- 2:37life right now, not his, not his choice of beer.
- 2:41He is. Just like at my South city,
- 2:44Yeah. So we hold off.
- 2:45Is that Seth's any 2525? You're a member 25 surely?
- 2:51No, it's, it's year 2025, but I'm a member for 2025.
- 2:54So they every year that you're a member, they send out like a
- 2:56merch to say, yeah, you're a member this year.
- 2:58Oh. OK.
- 2:59And this year their merch was a tiny little jersey to put on
- 3:02your bottle. That's nice.
- 3:03Well, it's actually works out well because it fits on
- 3:06everything, fits on a long. There's a long there because
- 3:08they know they're yes. Then it fits on everything.
- 3:13Everything. I'm a Swans member and they used
- 3:20to have an international thing where you could take the same
- 3:23international, they would still send you stuff like like that or
- 3:26like key ring or whatever. I've got a key ring that I've
- 3:28got and and they stopped doing it.
- 3:29They said the international people don't get the the much
- 3:32anymore. Why would I be a member?
- 3:36Well, it's actually I, I have to do the math again, but I'm
- 3:40pretty sure it's cheaper to be a member because you get access to
- 3:44the Watch AFL app. Oh.
- 3:47So OK, yeah, I think it was cheaper to do that and then plus
- 3:52you get plus you support the team and you get to watch it
- 3:55because I have really, really hard to watch AFL here.
- 3:58When I have because no one gives a shit, yeah.
- 4:00When I have it's hard to watch here too because I hate it.
- 4:04I don't understand. Sport.
- 4:06So it's very hard to watch. Yeah, but NRL I understand and
- 4:09when I've travelled I've looked to get in like a travelling like
- 4:15to watch it, be able to watch the game.
- 4:16It's stupidly expensive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think it's.
- 4:20Ridiculously expensive to be able to stream it.
- 4:22It's a couple 100 bucks, yeah. A year to watch?
- 4:25Yeah, basically. Well, it is to sort of watch it
- 4:29here as well, except because they bundle it all in with KO.
- 4:33Which you provide access to. I could do that stuff I suppose.
- 4:37While we're on. Multiple people like all you do.
- 4:41No, I was just going to say, I think we've got a lag, Matt.
- 4:46Maybe. It's probably me.
- 4:51Oh, could probably is you. Actually, but you just raise
- 4:54your head when you want to speak to.
- 4:56I'm just going to say. Ahead of time so that we know.
- 4:59Yeah, exactly. I don't recall what I was going
- 5:04to say. Oh, obviously.
- 5:06Sports and this sports, obviously.
- 5:07Wasn't that? Interesting AFL.
- 5:10Yes. No.
- 5:13I. Can't.
- 5:14It's gone. It's gone.
- 5:15It's gone ko ko. Oh yeah, People say you can
- 5:20watch AFL on ESPN here, but not you don't get to choose what
- 5:25matches you watch, just the ones they feel like playing.
- 5:27So I feel like that's not an option.
- 5:28That's what I was going to say. That's fair.
- 5:30Yeah, I'm a graphic designer and at work we're designing
- 5:37something sports related. And the person who's very great
- 5:40in said are you into sports? And they said it just like that.
- 5:45And I said I'm into some sports. And they went you just don't
- 5:48look like a outdoorsy type person.
- 5:51And I'm like, I don't think that's a compliment.
- 5:52What are you saying? I've been outside.
- 5:55But here's the thing. You don't watch the game.
- 5:59Yeah, I'm not saying she gave you all sports.
- 6:02Yes. Yeah, I watched the game.
- 6:04Yeah, very different. Yeah, been watching the Formula
- 6:11One, Dan. Oh yes, I'm not going to miss
- 6:12Monaco. It's my favorite track.
- 6:15Everyone crashes. Yeah, and no one overtakes.
- 6:19Wasn't there a big crash in the Formula 2 just recently?
- 6:23Oh, I don't know. I don't.
- 6:24Follow Formula Two. There was a there was a big
- 6:27crash. Was it Formula Two or was it
- 6:28IndyCar? I can't remember.
- 6:30Just on the first corner there was like 12 cars just took each
- 6:34other out. Yeah, I didn't see.
- 6:36I saw there was a big IndyCar. Crash.
- 6:37Oh, and there there was at least one car who crashed on the first
- 6:39corner of Monaco. OK.
- 6:45What's that? I don't know, I don't follow
- 6:46that game. I I played a game I don't follow
- 6:49just driving because it looks boring unless they crash.
- 6:54It can be. They've got a good app, they've
- 6:56got a good app where you can switch, switch between the
- 6:58cameras and and you can listen to the the on board commonly.
- 7:04What do they call it? Just they've got the.
- 7:06Talking. Team, Team radio, they.
- 7:10Team Radio. They had a really good, I only
- 7:13noticed it for Monaco. I maybe they have it all the
- 7:15time. I've got a really great drone
- 7:17shot like up down on the track now on F1 TV that you can switch
- 7:22to and it's like you know, when you're playing like motor sport
- 7:25manager or or like one of those top down racing games.
- 7:28Like he races. You down the track yeah I mean
- 7:31you can't see a lot any detail or anything but I was just like
- 7:33oh that's cool that you can just like just get this big shot and
- 7:36especially at Monaco like this beautiful location.
- 7:39So just this this top down. That's why Monaco.
- 7:42Because it's like the. Fucking ridiculous track.
- 7:45Like it's ridiculous you can't do.
- 7:48Any isn't that the one that's got like so?
- 7:49Beautiful. You'll be in dollar yachts.
- 7:52Yeah, right. Next to it and stuff.
- 7:54The location. Roads that were built in the
- 7:561850s, like it's just lovely. That's why Singapore is
- 8:00beautiful too, because it's another street race.
- 8:01So you just. Before the scenery?
- 8:03Yeah, Singapore. Singapore at night, yeah.
- 8:07I know that Australia got sick of the in Brisbane, they got
- 8:10sick of the street races. Yeah.
- 8:13Yeah, yeah, they got a bit over it and started yelling at
- 8:15people, like setting up the courses and stuff, and so that's
- 8:18why it's not Brisbane anymore. Man, Singapore wait all year for
- 8:21it. They've got that.
- 8:22That grandstand doesn't get used for anything else other than the
- 8:25F1. Well, I think.
- 8:26They're a bit more planned for it with Brisbane.
- 8:29They shut down the city, which isn't greatest thing, and it's
- 8:33very hard to get around. They shut down Singapore and the
- 8:37whole the city is the island. It's like 1 country, one city
- 8:41like you can. Everybody can see it anywhere
- 8:43on. That night, yeah.
- 8:44But that's the thing, yeah. You can see it from wherever you
- 8:46live. Yes, but with people who travel
- 8:50to the city to go to work in Brisbane, they sort of give the
- 8:53shits because I just want to go to work.
- 8:55Here, I've been to Brisbane after it was on and it was, or
- 8:59even that was like inconvenient because there was some
- 9:01barricades everywhere. But yeah.
- 9:04So I can understand why they get upset.
- 9:06Listen, I think I have, I'm assuming that's what it was when
- 9:09I was there. When did the last Brisbane F1
- 9:11race come? I mean, we don't have to do this
- 9:13on the podcast. I can let.
- 9:13This, I think it's, I think it's because it's moved to Melbourne
- 9:16now, hasn't it? Yeah, it's Albert Park.
- 9:18Yeah. Brisbane 1 I miss it from quali
- 9:23in Brisbane now. Obviously it's not now.
- 9:26What's it saying to, anyway? I don't know, you know.
- 9:30Here we go. Adelaide, Melbourne, 1996 to
- 9:342019, 2008. OK, I must be thinking of
- 9:36something else. No, Are you?
- 9:40Going to be there between. 1996 and 2019 no.
- 9:44No, that's Melbourne. Oh.
- 9:47Yeah, actually. What am I thinking of doing?
- 9:48Apparently was not in Brisbane. No, there was something because
- 9:51Jenny, Yeah. And I were both there and I.
- 9:52Remember there being braces in Brisbane?
- 9:54Maybe it was just AV 8 or something.
- 9:56Yeah. I've watched that.
- 9:58I've watched anyway. Street race.
- 10:02They're more likely to crash. What have we been doing this
- 10:07week? Have we got anything?
- 10:09Anyone seen anything? Played anything good?
- 10:11I've actually started playing Doom the dark ages.
- 10:15Oh yeah, I was gonna ask if anyone started playing that
- 10:18because it's on game pass. Game Pass and it's different and
- 10:24also fun. So this I just finished a level
- 10:28where I'm flying on top of this dragon that flies around and
- 10:30shoots stuff, and I was in a big mechanoid thing a couple of
- 10:34levels before. All right, They've added some
- 10:36extra stuff that just makes it interesting.
- 10:38Yeah, All right. Yeah.
- 10:39Yeah. I mean, I'm not not interested.
- 10:42I must admit I'm not not interested.
- 10:45Yeah, I just started to say I got like the four or five levels
- 10:48in I went, this is fun. So I think I might stick with
- 10:51that, but I do need to go back to Minecraft 2016 it.
- 10:54Was awesome yeah Yep Doom Eternal I lost interest in it a
- 10:58little bit halfway through and I never went back to it just
- 11:00because it was it was more of the same which is fine but I you
- 11:04know I I 100% did Doom 2016 that's how much I liked it did
- 11:09you and I think maybe yeah I went back go to collectibles and
- 11:12everything like that and I think I wore myself out of doom
- 11:15because is. It hard especially.
- 11:17If you're playing, you earned it, yeah.
- 11:20They get a bit samey, yeah. If you're too close, you need to
- 11:24break the what? Games do.
- 11:25It's like when I tried to play all the Tomb Raiders
- 11:27back-to-back. By the time I got to the third
- 11:29one, I was like, oh, I've played this.
- 11:31Haven't. I but if you leave it those
- 11:34years apart, but they're actually quite good, you're
- 11:36actually enjoying it because Oh yes, I remember this and then.
- 11:40Or they need to change it up a bit like putting in a dragon.
- 11:44Yes. So I'm interested in the story
- 11:48because it's, yeah, it's, it's not the Dark Age, which I'll
- 11:50see, which is like on Earth or anything.
- 11:52Nothing to do with Earth. Right.
- 11:54Yeah. I was going to say as we all
- 11:56know. That, but it is a bit Dark Ages,
- 11:59right? It's a little bit like that.
- 12:02He's like a horned helmet on on there.
- 12:05Yeah, sure. But there's swords as well.
- 12:06Right there are. There's lots of guns, OK,
- 12:10there's armies of guns. Mostly guns, Yeah, OK.
- 12:13Yes, no swords. Not that I've seen you've just
- 12:16got you may like your your shield.
- 12:19No, no one wants like Cortana. It's a.
- 12:22Copyright. Surely it's copyright for for
- 12:26Ian though, right? No, I was.
- 12:30That oh, no, I don't think it was.
- 12:32That was, what's he saying branching out, wasn't it?
- 12:35Yeah. Branching.
- 12:36Out Ramirez Company. Yeah, OK.
- 12:39And rocking out that he needs someone else to.
- 12:41He needs to work with him, I said.
- 12:42Make a good game, Yeah, but I'm interested.
- 12:48There's something in here I just saw which I'm very excited
- 12:50about. There's a sequel that's been
- 12:52announced. To which one are you?
- 12:56Oh, are you? Talking about cyberpunk.
- 12:58I was going to say, there's two sequels announced.
- 12:59I say you've seen sinners, and you already want.
- 13:01More I was going to say, it's on.
- 13:04The Torrance now, by the way. I'm aware.
- 13:07OK, sure. Wink wink.
- 13:11So Punk 2 is officially in development.
- 13:14It was in pre production and it has now entered development
- 13:18phase which means it's on its way and I'm assuming.
- 13:22I'm assuming Luke's annoyed about that because he doesn't
- 13:24want us to know when these things.
- 13:25Happen because it'll be five years.
- 13:26Surprised. He just wants to know, Yeah,
- 13:29that the. Game so it might release around
- 13:31late 2030 or early 2031. I mean, that sounds cyberpunk.
- 13:36To me, anyway. So Punk 20. 31 here is it.
- 13:41Mate I mean when I look, every time I look at an Apple Watch I
- 13:45think to myself no that's that's the fucking future.
- 13:48Like when I was a kid in the 80s I thought watches with fucking
- 13:51shit on them. Like that is the future.
- 13:55When you thought about it, they were chunky, not the small ones
- 13:59we've got. Well, Cassie, you need to get
- 14:01some television watch in the early 90s.
- 14:02Then I was like, well, fucking. It's the height of technology
- 14:07you. Need to wait till you get to
- 14:08hologram technology so when you look at your watch it sort of
- 14:11comes up quite big. And that stuff is going to 1000%
- 14:14be too annoying. Yes, because.
- 14:16Whenever they try and do that stuff, it turns out no, that we
- 14:18don't want that shit. So that's right, because it's
- 14:21like I don't want anyone looking at my screen at the best of
- 14:23times. I don't want it projected into
- 14:253D space. Yeah, like when you're worried
- 14:30about open Instagram or Twitter in public, like, what is going
- 14:32to pop up first? Why?
- 14:33Are you talking to that ugly bitch?
- 14:39Your recommendations are disgusting.
- 14:43Six years. Away.
- 14:44Like, I was like desturating to that's the perfect announcements
- 14:49thing. Like, hey, yeah.
- 14:50Yeah, guess what? We're already testing it, Yeah.
- 14:54Yeah, everyone's loving it. Perfect.
- 14:57Yes, this is well ahead of schedule.
- 14:59Yeah, well ahead of when they should have announced it in
- 15:02Luke's mind. Yeah, But yeah, so it's in
- 15:06development key. Good.
- 15:08News attached. We don't know.
- 15:10I don't think so. I'd be surprised.
- 15:12Yeah. I would hope not, to be honest.
- 15:14Like make it about some other story.
- 15:17Just give you've got the whole stitchy in world.
- 15:19I'll tell you, I read these books.
- 15:22Oh, you mentioned the others here in China, Melbourne.
- 15:24Yeah, right. Him and Jana Mieville May wrote
- 15:26a book. It's based on the character that
- 15:29Keanu also created for his comic book series, The Berserker.
- 15:33It's very good. It's very good.
- 15:35Took me a couple of goes to get into it but then I I read it
- 15:38all. It's basically like if
- 15:40Highlander had a more well thought out mythology.
- 15:46Oh, the first one movie did. I I.
- 15:51Imagine of. Of imagine the tone of the first
- 15:54one, but if you asked any questions of it, it had any way,
- 15:59it didn't just go let's let's just let them fight, yeah.
- 16:04With a great soundtrack. The book does not have a great
- 16:08soundtrack. See.
- 16:10That's what's missing out on pages.
- 16:11Turning it did in my head though, yeah.
- 16:14I don't know, it sounds pretty much the same soundtrack when I
- 16:16read them. Just music I like I guess.
- 16:23Other City Project news, which three-game probably most people
- 16:28are familiar with at this point, got a got a cheeky little patch
- 16:32recently or or or on its way to let you use mods on consoles
- 16:38which I thought was a nice thing of them to enable.
- 16:42No, I've never looked at them making them naked.
- 16:44What kind of mods are out there? I mean as cosmetic mods.
- 16:47Is it like the tits mods? You say that they're already
- 16:51naked, so you know. Yeah, but you'll be able to see
- 16:54Siri naked. Yeah.
- 16:57They're all Siri with big breasts, are you?
- 16:58The little kid. No, she's an adult.
- 17:02She's an adult, yeah. Witcher 3.
- 17:04She is the only actually. Yeah, Witcher 3.
- 17:07Yeah, she did that all. This is the.
- 17:08Scene where you're training her and she's jumping on the thing,
- 17:11I mean. Yeah, I'm not talking about the
- 17:13flashback. Oh, sure, OK, I'll be honest, I
- 17:18haven't played a whole lot past there.
- 17:21I mean, if, if that's if we go and buy that logic, all women
- 17:24are little kids at one point or another.
- 17:26So you don't. See them you're like, you can
- 17:29understand why if I've only played half the game, I'm going
- 17:32to like. Really.
- 17:33You can see a photo of them. I've seen photos of my wife when
- 17:37she was a kid. Nothing wrong with that.
- 17:38Is the day. Hey, hey.
- 17:39There's one of two. Where are we going there?
- 17:41Why are we talking about this? Let's not.
- 17:53I think I've inadvertently said something that sounded weirder
- 17:56than I intended it to, if that's what you think I meant.
- 18:06My point was, and actually I was going to follow up because when
- 18:09you mentioned Siri, so Siri is an adult, which is 3 most of the
- 18:12time there is a flashback where you see it being trained, but
- 18:14she is an adult in most of the game.
- 18:15And when you play as a she's an adult.
- 18:17But she's actually the only female character, I think only
- 18:20female main character that you don't see naked.
- 18:23And in fact, there's a bit where she goes to a bath house and
- 18:27everyone else is naked, but she's got a little wrap on.
- 18:29And it was notable. I'm saying I didn't, not that I
- 18:34gave a shit, but people, people. It.
- 18:36Sounds like she did. Why can't I see her tits?
- 18:38There tonight. No, no.
- 18:41And the ball, like people are like why do we get to see her
- 18:43tits? Well, you can now, because now
- 18:45there's mods. Because now there's mods and
- 18:49it's because because she's like his adoptive, adoptive daughter,
- 18:55even though she's an adult, they didn't want to sexualize her.
- 19:02So they just put her in a tiny wrap.
- 19:04Yes, yeah. So everybody now can just think
- 19:07about it. Anyway, mods, yeah, there's
- 19:11almost certainly be tits, but there's also a ton of other
- 19:14stuff like, you know, add more monsters, add more game play.
- 19:18Like there's some people that also just make amazing mods that
- 19:21actually. Yeah, new content.
- 19:22Make great stories, yeah. And even just like one of the
- 19:27times I played through Skyrim, one of the like 5 times was when
- 19:32they allowed mods on Xbox and I just put on all the cosmetic
- 19:35mods and it just made it feel like the game wasn't 10 years
- 19:39old. You know, just.
- 19:42Well, that's what I love with the scar, like with The Elder
- 19:45Scrolls games come out like there'll people who just go
- 19:48here's a mob to make it look better like and they have that
- 19:51every day. I said I didn't want it to be 10
- 19:54years old, man. That's where we did that.
- 20:05A Minecraft server. Need to follow up on that.
- 20:11I've been asking questions about it.
- 20:12I've sent invites to everybody who expressed interest.
- 20:15Not everybody, I guess. I don't know where they go.
- 20:18Yeah, I don't know where they go.
- 20:20And I know even you guys at first didn't realize that I had
- 20:24done that. So just to notify, if you
- 20:26expressed an interest, if you're a patron and you expressed an
- 20:28interest in joining a Minecraft server, I'm pretty sure I sent
- 20:31an invite to all of you. So let me, well, actually it's,
- 20:34it's, it's not, it's not intuitive where the invite is.
- 20:40So just look around your screen until you see a little, a little
- 20:43alert. It might not be where you think
- 20:45it is. On the Xbox or?
- 20:48On on the Xbox but did you get? Them OK.
- 20:51Yeah, because I went to. Just go to realm first.
- 20:53And couldn't see it there, right?
- 20:55OK, I had to go back to the home screen and look at messages and
- 20:59in messages was the invite. OK, All right.
- 21:03This is for children. Why are we having so much
- 21:06trouble with it? Oh.
- 21:07I can't. Well to be honest.
- 21:08I mean, it took Me 2 seconds to find yeah.
- 21:12But I think the the one thing about X, about Minecraft that I
- 21:16love is going in and finding things different to the last
- 21:19time that you went there. You know, like the time that I
- 21:22worked out that, you know, Matt, you'd found that little beach
- 21:26across the the harbour and you'd build a little jetty there and I
- 21:29was like, OK, well, I'll go check, check out what's over
- 21:31there now. And, you know, I'd found that
- 21:32huge, enormous, intimidating strip mine that Luke had done
- 21:36pretty much just devastated the landscape and made us have to
- 21:40build new houses elsewhere because of all The Cave.
- 21:44But. I felt that.
- 21:47But I went in the other. To be learned about, you know,
- 21:52about the entire environment. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:55It's called Fern Gully the OR avatar.
- 22:05I went in yesterday and I saw a little tree house and I was
- 22:08like, oh, this cheek little tree house is this and it has a had
- 22:12an orange welcome mat and I'm like, which one?
- 22:14Which one of you guys has built this?
- 22:16Well, I think I know these. It is, yeah.
- 22:19I think it knows who it is, but I don't want to say because you
- 22:21know. Yes, well, I confirmed who it
- 22:24was today, and he's in their building.
- 22:28He's building different to how I build, which is exactly how I
- 22:31like people in Minecraft to be Just, you know, everyone plays a
- 22:34bit different. So you like.
- 22:34Yeah. Mix it up.
- 22:35Well, mate, yeah. Yeah, I've still built nothing.
- 22:40Except a strip mine. You've built a.
- 22:42Strip. Mine you've done the opposite of
- 22:44build You've you've you've devastated a lot of the
- 22:47landscape, he. He just does the mining bit.
- 22:50Yeah, don't I care about if you want to find some.
- 22:52Relaxing. OK Luke, if you want something
- 22:54to do, go across the harbour to where Matt build that jetty
- 23:01where I now have a house and listen to Grant now has a house.
- 23:04Go round to the other side and there is a volcano, this huge
- 23:09mountain with just lava pouring out of it.
- 23:11You're supposed to level. It.
- 23:12I know there's something in there.
- 23:13Yeah. I want you to find out what
- 23:15that. I will find inside there I will
- 23:17level the volcano for you. Yeah, great.
- 23:22Actually that that's actually, I really want to do that.
- 23:24That just seems so relaxing to me just to destroy a mountain.
- 23:29Have we? Because the problem about that
- 23:31is, yes, the problem about that is, is I'm not going to get
- 23:36anything good from it because everything good is underground.
- 23:38So it's just going to take me a lot of time just to level the
- 23:41volcano for no real gain. You can see on the outside of it
- 23:47that there are things like coal and copper and stuff, which is,
- 23:50and I know it's not that useful, but I don't know where where you
- 23:54see those things. Yeah.
- 23:55I don't even know what you can build with copper.
- 23:58Why can't I make copper tools? I am not too soft finding any
- 24:02more copper. I do not care about copper.
- 24:04We have chests full of copper. Yeah, put a bit of tin in it,
- 24:08right, You've got bronze. That's.
- 24:12There's a whole age based on that.
- 24:14Yeah, exactly. Technically there's.
- 24:16Tin in the game. You've got to have tin in the.
- 24:20Game well there there. Is the name of this podcast not
- 24:24adding modes? We are not adding any mods.
- 24:27I think it. Is is there any mods?
- 24:29I don't get achievements and I'll.
- 24:30Say no, there's no, no mods, no, no, we have.
- 24:33Vanilla is there settings? Because I have a feeling we've
- 24:37got monsters ramped up to 11. I I don't ever remember there
- 24:41being this many monsters and they don't.
- 24:44There's just hundreds of them hanging around in the daytime
- 24:46around my house. I'm like, what?
- 24:48No one else that I watch on YouTube has all this fucking
- 24:51problem with the monsters. You have to get rid of the
- 24:54trees. OK.
- 24:57Because they're hanging out under the trees in the shade.
- 24:59That's why they're alive longer. Right.
- 25:01Yeah, maybe. OK, so do you want me to mind
- 25:04the check? OK, so.
- 25:05The guy who spot mines is also like logging.
- 25:07Just fucking log that place. Yeah, you're talking next time
- 25:13there'll be no trees, no volcano, all gone.
- 25:16No monsters. I mean, I can turn monsters off.
- 25:19No, don't turn them off and not yeah.
- 25:23All right. I would like I'll see if I can
- 25:25dial them back a bit. But yeah, it was really fun to
- 25:27walk in there and and see new builds.
- 25:30So yeah, listeners, if you have requested, have a look, get in
- 25:33there if you can. I've got stuff.
- 25:36Help yourself to anything I've if I've got it in a.
- 25:38Box. Yeah, it means I'm.
- 25:39Probably not using it like. Just grab it, it's fine.
- 25:42You'll just have. Something and if you need to get
- 25:44on and you can't send us a message on Patreon because
- 25:47that's yeah and if you want if you're a listener and you're
- 25:49like how do I get into this go to patreon.com/multiple orgasm
- 25:52join the Patreon but Patreon at any level and we'll we'll let
- 25:56you in We'll. Let you in and you have full
- 25:58reign. There's none of this.
- 25:59You can't build or destroy anything.
- 26:01You can come in and just destroy everyone houses if you want.
- 26:04No, don't, please. Don't hang on, hang on a minute.
- 26:07Let's try the Ted. I'll take the issue 10.
- 26:10I'll tell you what. Oh yeah, there's no
- 26:11restrictions. The other day I accidentally
- 26:15flooded my own house and fuck, that was a pain in the ass.
- 26:18And the reason I did it was because I dug A Moat around my
- 26:21house. Right.
- 26:22That's a shitty Moat. And I was going to fill with
- 26:24with water. Yeah, but it works.
- 26:26It does work. I was going to fill it with
- 26:28water. So I got a bucket, went outside
- 26:29to the to the beach. I filled the bucket with water
- 26:31and I came in and then I went to click on my front door.
- 26:34But the action button for the door is the same as the action
- 26:36button for the bucket. For the bucket, if you if you
- 26:39were off by a pixel, then what you're doing is just pouring
- 26:43that bucket into your house. And the water defies gravity.
- 26:46It just, it just fills your house is like, well, this house
- 26:48is just full of water now until you do something about.
- 26:51It it's now a fish tank. Yeah, enjoy your life as a fish.
- 27:00Yes, well, very good, very fun. I'm not been on as much as I
- 27:03would like to. I'm still, we mentioned I'm in
- 27:06jury duty. I'm still in jury duty.
- 27:08That's happening. So still, what's the rest of
- 27:10that show? Very jealous.
- 27:11Oh. Fucking hilarious.
- 27:14Unbelievably hilarious. Yeah, the Baldwin sex scene,
- 27:18shaking the bed. Very funny.
- 27:20Yeah. Yeah, very, very funny.
- 27:22And then in the last episode where they tell him where
- 27:24they're like here is a video of me shaking their.
- 27:28Head yes, however, they go through all the stuff that he
- 27:32did like because he's how he's such a good guy, which is true.
- 27:35You seem like a good guy because they give him every opportunity
- 27:39to just be a prick. And he never, he's always, he's
- 27:43like on camera, just being a good guy.
- 27:46And then they just, like you even took the blame for Marsden
- 27:49shit. Yeah, fucking huge turd they
- 27:53planted in the toilet and he took the blame for it.
- 27:56So funny. But even I just love like it's
- 27:58the weird guy who's meant to be like we and he just became
- 28:01friends with him. Yeah, that's yeah.
- 28:03Like just. Like, just genuine good friends,
- 28:06yeah. They got this out of the show, I
- 28:08guess, because it was a little too intense.
- 28:10But that where they have the birthday party for the guy
- 28:13who's, and then they find out his wife has left him and all
- 28:15that kind of stuff. But anyway, Marsden, James
- 28:17Marsden shows up and he thinks it's a pity party 'cause he
- 28:20didn't get the movie role. And he'd like flips the cake
- 28:21over and they actually have to calm Ronald down and, and he's
- 28:25like, Tom, oh, fucking want him here.
- 28:28He's a prick. We don't want him here.
- 28:29And then they're like, and the producers are like, we've gone
- 28:32too far. He hates him.
- 28:33Like, yeah, what do we do? And then they they showed that
- 28:36they had James Marsden come back with a replacement cake.
- 28:39It's not in the show because it wasn't part of what they were
- 28:42trying to do. But they were like, yeah, we
- 28:44went too far. We need to.
- 28:45Wind up. Getting some like goodwill back.
- 28:47Yeah, that's right. It's really interesting.
- 28:50So good. Which I could see why they would
- 28:52think that funny, but that's only funny if everyone's in on
- 28:55it. If you're just like, we're
- 28:57having this party for someone, this guy just walks in makes
- 28:59about him and because. He throws the cake.
- 29:01Yeah. Like he was improvising and he
- 29:03threw. Oh well, whether he was supposed
- 29:04to or not. And then Ronald was like, fuck
- 29:07that guy. Yeah, like, oh, fuck.
- 29:09Shit. We need him to like him.
- 29:11Yeah, slight deviation just on while we're on reality TV news
- 29:20last week we talked about Virgin Island and how.
- 29:24Yes. The the hosts there kissing,
- 29:29touching, fondling the contestants and and the question
- 29:33you asked me that I couldn't answer last week is do they
- 29:36actually fuck them? Yes, I can confirm they actually
- 29:40fuck them. So they hired prostitutes to
- 29:44come in. They they're sex therapists, but
- 29:47they're just very hands on. See, I don't know if if they
- 29:54paid to have yeah, you've been paid to have sex.
- 29:58It's. There's nothing wrong with.
- 29:59That but but that's where you are get your business cards
- 30:03printed you're a proper attitude, but.
- 30:05Was it still the same that the the guys were let's go.
- 30:09And the girls were? Why are you here?
- 30:11Yeah. Correct.
- 30:13And in fact, yeah, there's at least one instance where the the
- 30:18sex therapist slash prostitute didn't want to have sex with the
- 30:21person. And they were, like, trying to
- 30:23get their confidence on because I've got my confidence now.
- 30:25I want to fuck you. And she's like, I think we're
- 30:28going to end the session here. But then in another scene, a
- 30:32different character with that same sex therapist slash
- 30:36prostitute was, you know, slowly coaxed into making sweet and
- 30:43beautiful love to her. I don't like this show.
- 30:46Live on television. No, it's very strange.
- 30:48I see this article. It's so uncomfortable.
- 30:52So looking at this article, one of the contestants lost his
- 30:55virginity to one of the therapists.
- 30:58And then he says the article says despite losing his
- 31:02virginity to Cat in the season's final episode, Dave's not been
- 31:05in contact with Cat since. Yeah, because she was paid to do
- 31:08that. Yeah, she doesn't.
- 31:09She's not. Marrying him?
- 31:10Yeah, that's right. But also if you read the
- 31:14article, he even says they told me straight after, by the way,
- 31:17you know, you don't ever get to see her again.
- 31:20Like she does not. She's not going to tell you her
- 31:23real name. Or her phone number like.
- 31:25Right. This was just a job to her,
- 31:29Yeah, and also a way to springboard into her career of
- 31:32being an influencer now. Yeah, yeah, slash prostitute.
- 31:38Yeah. Yeah, it's super weird.
- 31:41Should should we go into body blue now or should I hold that
- 31:44for the after party? Go into Bonnie Blue.
- 31:46You can. You can.
- 31:47Anyone can? I've got some after party stuff
- 31:51right there. It's after party.
- 31:52Get in the line. There's actually literally a
- 31:54line there. You don't want to know what it's
- 31:56for. Definitely wait for the after
- 31:58party. I have some.
- 31:59I have an update on body blue that's going to blow your minds.
- 32:02It's. Going to blow my oh mind, right?
- 32:05Plus some other things I. Don't want to know why you've
- 32:07got an update, but that's fine. How to get to the after party?
- 32:10Just go to patreon.com/multipleorgasm.
- 32:15Yes, it's easy. Can I talk about a book?
- 32:19No, Dan, you've said here that I'm banned.
- 32:21But I want to talk about. It banned from talking about
- 32:23this. Book I've got I've got an Eddie.
- 32:25Book by Graham Hancock. OK, if barely worked, we'd never
- 32:29speak about the old game. Any kids and talk about your
- 32:32book? There's a precedent where I'm
- 32:33allowed to all right, I don't want to say too much about it.
- 32:35I just wanted to mention that I, I don't know why I did this, but
- 32:39I wanted to because because I wanted to see, I wanted to go
- 32:44back to the beginning and find out how did Graham Hancock
- 32:47become the man he is today. Yeah.
- 32:50And I guess I've learned that he's always just been this man
- 32:52because I started reading or listening to The Sign and the
- 32:57Seal, which is one of his earlier books, I believe, about
- 33:01the Ark of the Covenant. Yes.
- 33:03And it begins like very. Have you read it then?
- 33:08No, not this one. OK.
- 33:10So he just very compelling, joking.
- 33:12He wrote a book. Well, actually.
- 33:14It came out in 1992, so I would say that's.
- 33:17Probably so. OK, so I mean, brief outline.
- 33:21Starts off very strong, very interesting, very interesting,
- 33:23and then just drops off a fucking Cliff as far as I'm
- 33:25concerned. When the facts stop and the
- 33:27speculation comes. In basically.
- 33:29That's what happens with the ones that I read about the
- 33:31pyramids and. The first couple chapters are
- 33:33very interesting. Because he's not making shit up.
- 33:36It's just he's just him saying anything.
- 33:38So he yes, it's the 80s. He's in Ethiopia doing some
- 33:43journalism paid for by the government, taking photos,
- 33:46interviewing people for like, I guess tourism type stuff for the
- 33:48Ethiopian government. He's just seen Raiders of the
- 33:51Lost Ark and loved it. And here's someone, I forget
- 33:56exactly how someone says to him, well, we've got the arc of the
- 33:59covenant here, so yeah. And he said what?
- 34:02That that is a real theory. And I don't mean an
- 34:04archaeological theory, I mean like a like a a theological
- 34:07theory. Yeah.
- 34:08So he goes, so this is all very interesting.
- 34:10This is, this is as far as I can tell, true.
- 34:12He goes to this Chapel in a Aksum is the city in Ethiopia,
- 34:16and he talks to the priest there.
- 34:17And the priest says, yeah, we've got it out the back.
- 34:19And he goes and he says, can I see it?
- 34:23And the priest is like, obviously not, yeah, I mean, I
- 34:26can see it. And we do bring it out out for
- 34:28stuff, but we wrap it up to protect everybody from it.
- 34:31This is like that movie Mystery Men, where Paul Rubens's
- 34:33character turns invisible, but only when nobody's looking.
- 34:37Yes. See, so the and then so you say,
- 34:40oh, OK, so he talks to the the guy tells him this back story,
- 34:43right? Which is that Ethiopians, Oh, I
- 34:45don't know all of them, but generally they believe the Queen
- 34:49of Sheba was Ethiopian and they believe that she went to Israel
- 34:55and had it on with King Solomon. As you do.
- 34:58Yeah. No, that's great.
- 34:59And they had a son, Melenke, I think, and that son stole the
- 35:05arc of the Covenant, brought it back to Ethiopia and has been
- 35:06there ever since. That's what they think is true.
- 35:09And then he was like, Oh, yeah. OK, and to be fair, that is a
- 35:13true, and I don't mean a true fact, but that is a true belief.
- 35:17They literally believe. The sources, yeah.
- 35:20Yeah, they they genuinely. Believe that he can see it, No.
- 35:22No, No, no. No, No, no, no, no.
- 35:24Not the only he can see it. He's allowed to see it.
- 35:27Sorry, I don't need to imply that it's invisible, No.
- 35:30No, no, no. I bet that like, but I'm saying
- 35:32like, he can see it, but he's not allowed to let anyone else
- 35:35see it. But correct, it's too dangerous.
- 35:37Luke, it's too dangerous. Luke But just to just, they
- 35:40bring it in. Text wrapped up in clothes.
- 35:42In the old Israelite religion, yeah, it's.
- 35:45Dangerous. The priest was allowed to see it
- 35:48anyway. It was in a place called the
- 35:50Tabernacle, which in in a place called, funnily enough, the Holy
- 35:54of Holies. Right, So this, that's that.
- 35:56That is consistent with the biblical account.
- 35:58Yeah, yeah, it's too dangerous. They wrap it up to protect the
- 36:01congregation. God literally sits on it.
- 36:04Yeah, and it'll have you. Are you seeing right as the Lost
- 36:07Ark loo? Yeah, you.
- 36:08Said that documentary. Yeah, yeah, documentary.
- 36:10You need to close your eyes and look away when it's opened.
- 36:13Yeah, so then he goes, he's travelling around the country.
- 36:16He's like, well, obviously that's probably not true, but
- 36:18whatever. Like he's travelling around, he
- 36:21goes to another Chapel and then somehow the he's through a
- 36:25translator. The translator says to him, oh,
- 36:27he says they've got the arc of the Covenant here and he's like,
- 36:30the fuck so. Then he's like the guy who's got
- 36:33it. Yes, the tradition in Ethiopia,
- 36:35and again this is true as far as I can tell, is that all of the
- 36:38chapels in that particular church, I forget the specific
- 36:42denomination, they all have these replicas of it.
- 36:46So know what those really is? So but they're just like stone
- 36:50tablets in a lot of cases that they call, they just refer,
- 36:53that's just, they refer to them as the Ark of the Covenant as
- 36:56well. And they do the same thing.
- 36:57They bring them out for religious ceremonies and
- 36:58whatever. And they just treat them as if
- 37:00they are the original because they all believe that they have
- 37:02the original, blah, blah, blah. And he's like, oh, OK, that's
- 37:05all very interesting. And, and I was like, OK, cool.
- 37:09But then he leaves Ethiopia. He's in France and he sees at a
- 37:14cathedral in Chartres in France some carvings because he if
- 37:19there's a cafe called the Queen of Sheba Cafe.
- 37:22So he's like, oh, that's weird. And he goes in there.
- 37:24He says, why is it called that? And the guy says, oh, because
- 37:26there's a statue over over there.
- 37:27He goes over and there's some carvings that he takes to be
- 37:31telling the story of the Ark of the Covenant leaving and going
- 37:35to Ethiopia. That's how he interprets them.
- 37:39And then he starts, but then there's also somewhere it's a
- 37:42stone and not the Ark. And he starts trying to
- 37:46basically there's a whole chapter where he's trying to
- 37:47make the case that the Holy Grail and the Ark of the
- 37:50Covenant are the same thing. And that the the German poet who
- 37:55wrote Passoval and the French architect who built Chuck
- 38:00Cathedral both knew the story of the ark being taken to Ethiopia.
- 38:06And they knew the location and they encoded the into a treasure
- 38:10map that incorporates the story of possible the cathedral
- 38:14inside. And it's this whole thing.
- 38:15And I was like, what are you trying to say?
- 38:19Like. He really?
- 38:21I got very confused. He's jumping around all over the
- 38:23place. And then he literally at one
- 38:24point says, like, the question I had to answer is how did a
- 38:30German poet and a French architect both find out this
- 38:35information? And why did they both encode it
- 38:38in such a way that even I, in the 20th century, with all my
- 38:42resources, was only able to find these connections because I'd
- 38:45been to Ethiopia and I was looking for them.
- 38:47And I was like, Graham, you're almost.
- 38:48There. Yeah, yeah.
- 38:49That's. Almost figured out what's going
- 38:51on. In your own question.
- 38:52There, buddy, Yeah. Yeah.
- 38:54And so I completely lost interest because it's it's just
- 38:59too much. Here's Here's what the New York
- 39:02Times wrote Kent contemporaneously as they review
- 39:06Right. Tell me if you agree with this,
- 39:07Matt. I think you might.
- 39:09It's part travelogue, part adventure, part mystery
- 39:12thriller. But mostly it's a whacking big
- 39:14dose of amateur scholarship alloyed with a fevered
- 39:18imagination, the kind of narratives that comes in handy
- 39:21when telling ghost stories around a campfire.
- 39:24Yeah, like he's literally doing this bit where he's going
- 39:27through the story of Pass of All and the story of, you know, the
- 39:31Solomon Queen of Sheba story. And he's like both stories, a
- 39:35man and a woman have sex and have a baby.
- 39:38Is that a coincidence? Yes.
- 39:40No, it's not a coincidence. 90% of fucking stories have that.
- 39:43Yeah. Like it's just.
- 39:46It's just. Two, there's only one story I
- 39:48could think of that someone has a baby without having sex.
- 39:50Also in the Bible. Yeah, but you'll never guess who
- 39:54makes an appearance in in in the one of the chapters.
- 39:57No, only a certain European order of warrior monks.
- 40:01You'll never guess. You'll never guess who.
- 40:02The Knights Templar, of course they're in there.
- 40:06What were they looking for? Obviously.
- 40:09Yeah, as far as I could tell, they were just ferrying gold
- 40:12back and forth from France to the Holy Land.
- 40:14But I've got quite a reputation. Now, Solomon, I think you'll
- 40:18find Dan. Yeah.
- 40:19And what did they find? Well, they didn't find anything
- 40:21because it's an Ethiopian. Yeah.
- 40:22Yeah. Yeah, well, I don't know because
- 40:23I've read another another book of scholarship called The Da
- 40:26Vinci Code Man, and so I know full well.
- 40:30That's what the. Oh, that the Holy Grail is
- 40:32actually a woman, not a cup. The reason I the reason I said I
- 40:37thought it was how do. You drink out of that.
- 40:39That's right, it's the descendant of Jesus, right?
- 40:42Yeah, yeah. From Holy Blood Holy Grail Holy.
- 40:45Yes, yeah, I've I read that. I read that when I was younger.
- 40:47Yeah, same. Yeah.
- 40:50Look. I, I I I I I I do.
- 40:54I like the way Graham Hancock writes most, most of the time.
- 40:56Oh, he's a He's a good writer. It's just this was just too.
- 40:59But once it starts. Getting into this the use.
- 41:03The links are just too tenuous for me.
- 41:05I can't I, I know, I've read, I looked at the reviews and people
- 41:07are like, oh, very compelling. I'm like, is it?
- 41:10It really lost me as soon as he started doing that because I'm
- 41:12just like. A lot of the world is stupid.
- 41:17And the other thing I want to mention is that the the the the
- 41:20reason I say he's always been this person.
- 41:22He literally in the bit about the the Templars suggests he he
- 41:26posits that the I'm not even going to bother trying to
- 41:28explain how he gets to this. But he thinks the Knights
- 41:32Templar, while they were they were digging up the temple,
- 41:35found ancient texts left by whoever taught the Egyptians to
- 41:41build the pyramids and taught them how to build the
- 41:45architectural wonders that they built.
- 41:47For example, Gothic architecture was first introduced around that
- 41:50era. And he thinks it's another
- 41:51sacred geometry thing, blah, blah.
- 41:53And I was just like, oh, it's the same.
- 41:55Shit, yeah, he's obsessed as the showing.
- 41:59He's an interesting guy. I think people give him way too
- 42:03much of A platform, but yeah, it is interesting.
- 42:06You talking about me? No, I'm talking about you.
- 42:09Yeah, anyway, I've I've stopped for now.
- 42:13I've got. To hear I'm just on on the same
- 42:16topic that was Max Friedman. Lex Friedman won't let Flint
- 42:22dibble back on his show to I Was.
- 42:26I know that he won't everyone. I know.
- 42:28I know that he won't everyone. Yeah.
- 42:30But yeah, Flint, Flint is being silenced by big, not
- 42:37archaeology, big Graham Hancock believers.
- 42:42And yeah, Flint's got his own YouTube channel.
- 42:43He does. Yeah, hopefully he, well,
- 42:46hopefully he's doing all right. He's.
- 42:48I mean, he was not well, very sick.
- 42:49Yeah. And.
- 42:51He's so hopefully he's all right.
- 42:52He's only on half wages from the university grant that he gets.
- 42:56Yeah. Poor, poor guy.
- 42:59Yes. I've just seen something in the
- 43:04chat and I need to know who has started watching the
- 43:06detectorists. I have.
- 43:08And for some reason I thought this was new.
- 43:10And it's not new. It's no man.
- 43:13It's like at least six or seven years old.
- 43:16It's a that's what because I've watched.
- 43:18I didn't think so. You would like it?
- 43:20Good. I love it.
- 43:22It's the best thing I've watched in ages.
- 43:25I'm glad you've watched it because I was going to recommend
- 43:27it to you. And Matt, I think you should
- 43:28watch this too. This is written, directed by and
- 43:31starring McKenzie Cook, otherwise known as Gareth from
- 43:35The Office. Right?
- 43:38Oh OK. And him and Toby Jones.
- 43:40Nice show. Oh man, it is just like all
- 43:42those English comedy shows that are very funny and then just
- 43:48incredibly moving as well. And this one isn't like funny
- 43:53like ha ha. It's like it's.
- 43:56But there are times I've laughed out loud at it.
- 43:58Yes, I'm going out tonight with a girl.
- 44:01No, boy, no. Like, it's just, it is quite
- 44:05funny, you know? Yeah, yeah, No, it's just about
- 44:09a couple of guys who just had battle detectorists because they
- 44:13like to be called metal detectorists because metal
- 44:15detectors are we? That's a wrong term.
- 44:18And they just go out and it's just a story of them going out
- 44:20and just trying to find stuff. And it's.
- 44:22Oh. My experience we've got to see
- 44:23this new guy massive Nob has he no, I'm saying he is a massive
- 44:28nob. I don't know how big his nob is
- 44:30It's fucking great. It is it is so it's it's really
- 44:34it's a show about just male friendship, right?
- 44:37Like yes, and and just. It's like making fun of each
- 44:42other, not the mean way. Yeah, definitely recommend it.
- 44:47It's. All right, it's so good and
- 44:49there might be three seasons of 6 episodes like like all the
- 44:52good shows and they're not making any more ease.
- 44:55Like now that's the story. We're done.
- 44:56I'm actually surprised I'd been the third because it could have
- 44:59ended after two seasons very easily.
- 45:02I mean, it could easily have been a single season the way
- 45:04that the last episode of the first season ended too.
- 45:06I was like, oh wow, that's wrapped that up.
- 45:08There you go. Yep, they wrapped it up after
- 45:11the end. And there's Simon and Garfunkel
- 45:13characters. Yes.
- 45:14Fucking hilarious and I love that guy.
- 45:17The the tall guy. I forget his name but he's in
- 45:19SO. Many other bushy hairs like he's
- 45:21just, but he's not a main star. He's that that accent's always
- 45:25little. But he's always the antagonist
- 45:27too. They're in the Mighty Boosh.
- 45:29He's the when they have the fake versions of them, he's the fake
- 45:33version. And there's also a movie called
- 45:37Bill, which is, which is the guy from, you know, the guy from
- 45:41Ghosts, the skinny guy with the big nose.
- 45:46Oh yes, I know who you're talking.
- 45:47About, But he plays Shakespeare, and again, that guy plays his
- 45:50antagonist. Like he's just such a good
- 45:53little comedy villain. Good.
- 45:55Yeah. But that, yeah, that I think
- 45:58you'll enjoy it. I do too.
- 45:59Sounds like I would. Yeah.
- 46:00It's I've got brick boxes. Totally very similar to
- 46:03Afterlife, I think, just in the like dry humor.
- 46:08But then by the end of the episode you're like, oh, I've
- 46:10actually been really moved. Something to think about, yeah.
- 46:13Yeah, doesn't preach like, not like that one does, but it it.
- 46:21I've been watching an Australian show.
- 46:22Australian comedy. That I don't know if you guys
- 46:25have heard of. You probably have Colin from
- 46:28Accounts. Oh, yes.
- 46:30No. Yeah, we see a boob in the first
- 46:32episode. Oh.
- 46:34An Australian cruiser. That's true.
- 46:36I didn't even I forgot about that.
- 46:37Yes. You did?
- 46:38Oh, it's cousin. It's an adult, right, Matt?
- 46:39You weren't really paying that much attention.
- 46:46Yeah, calling from accounts. So pretty.
- 46:47It's funny. It's good.
- 46:48Yeah, it's a binge original, apparently.
- 46:51Oh yeah. So it's basically.
- 46:53It's filmed in the street behind where we lived in Newtown.
- 46:57Is it now? Wow, OK.
- 46:59Yeah, like filmed right near our old house in Newtown, The.
- 47:01Story for really sort of a weird couple getting together because
- 47:04he ran over a dog because he saw a boob.
- 47:07Yeah, he gets distracted because she flashes her boob and then he
- 47:10hits a dog and then they take the dog to the vet and then they
- 47:14bond. Yeah, OK.
- 47:17But no, it's actually also quite funny.
- 47:20It's very funny. There's some episodes that I
- 47:21didn't find funny I found very uncomfortable.
- 47:23Like just because it's, you know, that awkward kind of, I
- 47:26don't know, like, like the episode where it's her birthday
- 47:31and her all her friends. All her friends.
- 47:34And I was just, I, I felt that people fucking suck.
- 47:36And I was like, it really. It was making me anxious that I
- 47:39was. Like, I don't know if that's
- 47:40because we're sort of his age and we're sort of experienced
- 47:44what? He she's younger and so it's
- 47:45kind of a lot of jokes about his.
- 47:46She's got young friends and they're all just like, they're
- 47:49just. The worst?
- 47:50They're literally the fucking worst, like, and I know it's
- 47:53intentional, it's played up, but I was just like, fuck these
- 47:56people. Yeah.
- 47:57And just. Hit home a bit more I think
- 47:59because of yeah, where his age. So the two main characters are
- 48:06also the the writers of this series.
- 48:08I'm just. Looking up now and I think
- 48:10they're AI think they're married.
- 48:11Oh, OK, sure. That's great.
- 48:13But yeah, that episode, yeah. It's like he owns a bar and a
- 48:16brewery that oh, that is that's hard.
- 48:18She basically just bites all of her friends over.
- 48:20It goes drinks are free, go crazy.
- 48:22And he's this is costing me money.
- 48:25What what he's doing and. I did like at the end, he goes,
- 48:29he goes. By the way, I hope Ryan dies
- 48:30tonight. I'll give this a.
- 48:34Go. That's like me too.
- 48:35Awesome. Yeah, it's funny.
- 48:40It's a good show. Speaking of good shows, we've
- 48:44got some Neil Gaiman news. Yeah, he's got his fingers in a
- 48:49lot of pies, you know? Love this one.
- 48:54It's been officially confirmed that once they've aired the
- 48:59already shot and partially edited Sandman season 2, that's
- 49:05it. You get no more.
- 49:06They're not going to give game and any more money.
- 49:08And the fair. Enough the director of the
- 49:10show's come out and gone. Well, I didn't want to make any
- 49:12more than this anyway. I was planning to wrap the whole
- 49:15thing up here at Season 2. Well, let's see if you actually
- 49:18close off all the stories or you leave stuff open.
- 49:22Yeah. We're never getting any more
- 49:26American Gods. It's near one more episode.
- 49:28Definitely not getting any more American gods, yeah.
- 49:33Well, yeah, I mean, you would say that.
- 49:35What would you would say? Oh, we weren't planning on doing
- 49:36any more anyway. Because.
- 49:39Yeah. What are they going to say at
- 49:40this point? Yeah, good marketing to say.
- 49:41Yeah, unfortunately it will be incomplete and unfulfilling.
- 49:45Yeah, that's right. Go ahead.
- 49:47Don't even. Start Jesus claims to be left
- 49:49hanging. Yeah, we have.
- 49:51We have really been screwed by this.
- 49:53And you have a better chance of getting fingered by the author
- 49:56of this. You want to see what the author
- 49:59intended you to see. Yeah.
- 50:03Actually, it's real sad. That's kind of true.
- 50:11When is this out? I mean, I'm still going to watch
- 50:14it because. July season July season was
- 50:17pretty. Good.
- 50:17A month. Yeah, actually, I went back and
- 50:21had a watch of it. Good.
- 50:23Pretty much just went along the books.
- 50:26They haven't really changed much.
- 50:28I think the best adaptation of his stuff that there's been, I
- 50:31think. I would probably agree in terms
- 50:33of certainly because American Gods was a very, very good show.
- 50:37But after the first season, they basically were just like, fuck
- 50:40the books, yeah, let's just write about these characters
- 50:41now. Yeah, right.
- 50:44And yeah. Whereas this see though that
- 50:46with this there's only two episodes.
- 50:49What? Season 2 we're releasing 2
- 50:52parts, with the first in July 3rd and the.
- 50:54Finale on July 21st I think. 2 chunks of episodes I think it
- 50:57means. I don't know, it says oh maybe
- 50:59releasing 2 parts, so I don't know they.
- 51:01Do that with the Witcher as well.
- 51:04OK, yeah, OK. Like, I mean, unless that's all
- 51:08they filmed and they're like, that's what you're getting.
- 51:11Let's stretch it out as much as we can.
- 51:13That's. Not good either.
- 51:14But he didn't want to work anymore anyway.
- 51:18Neil No, that's right, he wasn't.
- 51:20He had no plans to make anymore. Oh, I see what you're.
- 51:22Saying yeah, yes, no, no. I feel amazingly retiring.
- 51:26He's just not. Yeah, yeah.
- 51:30I didn't need to. I don't want to talk about Neil
- 51:32Gaiman anymore because I was about to go down the fact like
- 51:35he's been cancelled, cancelled and I still don't get it.
- 51:36But no, yeah. I mean, we've done this before.
- 51:40I don't understand how he's gotten so cancelled with other
- 51:44people who've done much worse have not.
- 51:47But you know. Well, I think other people have
- 51:49been cancelled to disagree. I think the problem is he was
- 51:52one of ours. He was, yeah.
- 51:54I think people feel been undoing, let down by this.
- 51:58Yeah, like. Remember at the start, like very
- 51:59early on, it was like Amazon go will refund any book you've
- 52:03purchased or anything like just. It was like a bigger betrayal
- 52:06because like. Just so quickly, yeah.
- 52:09I liken this in a strange way to the JK Rowling cancellation,
- 52:13because at the same time as like, you could have just taken
- 52:17what she said with a grain of salt and and and moved on and
- 52:21this whole thing don't never have happened.
- 52:23We've got to take care of we. Can compare that though I don't
- 52:26because JK Rowling while people try to catch and upset she's
- 52:30still making a ton of money from the plays the bulls.
- 52:33There's another television series coming out.
- 52:35Yeah, but. But she's they didn't cancel any
- 52:38of her projects. Yeah, no, they're still going
- 52:40and hosting the. Author on the Planet other than
- 52:43Neil Gaiman. But she's they're still making
- 52:47everything though. We we've got some JK relatives.
- 52:50Do you want it in the main show or do you want to save it for
- 52:52the after? Party.
- 52:53Well, we've finished until now. So this this article States and
- 53:01I, I just find this very interesting because I'm because.
- 53:03I've read this now and. She certainly would not phrase
- 53:08this the way that everybody is is is is phrasing this.
- 53:11And I'm not not to say that you know that that she or anybody
- 53:15else is in right or wrong. But the the articles all say JK
- 53:20Rowling has found it using her to Harry Potter millions to fund
- 53:24an anti transgender organization.
- 53:28And I see how to, if she was to to to write the headline, it
- 53:34would say JK Rowling funds Pro Women Foundation.
- 53:40She's she's putting money aside to help women who are
- 53:42discriminated against in the workforce.
- 53:45Yeah, but people are going. And just women, part of that,
- 53:49part of that is right, part of that is that she, as we know,
- 53:53feels that men are pretending to be women to get away with shit
- 53:58because she's obviously got some kind of PTSD from her assault.
- 54:01That's my what? I'm not, I'm not a psychiatrist.
- 54:03That's my opinion. The the problem.
- 54:04Is why she's gotten so fucking crazy about this.
- 54:07The problem is is I think there are people who are doing that
- 54:11which is not helping. Because it's every, every, every
- 54:14one of those is a data point for her.
- 54:16But I also think that doesn't matter because you know when
- 54:19you're, you know, when you're in the supermarket and someone's
- 54:21trying to hand you a family for save the pandas and you go, no,
- 54:23and they go, you don't care about the pandas.
- 54:25And it's like, it's not that I don't care about the pandas.
- 54:27It's just that not everyone can care about the pandas as much as
- 54:30you do. Like, maybe I give to children's
- 54:33cancer. And I think that's more
- 54:34important, right? I think JK Rowling is perfectly
- 54:38within her right to set up a charity just for women, if
- 54:41that's what she wants to do. She's like, that's what I'm
- 54:44going to advocate for. Yeah, that's her.
- 54:46Like she chose that years ago. And, and in fact, when this
- 54:48whole thing started, that's all she was saying.
- 54:51It's not now. She's made herself very clear.
- 54:53Yeah, at the start, that's what she was saying.
- 54:55She was like, no, I'm a feminist.
- 54:56And that means something very, very specific to me.
- 54:59So I'm not going to be advocating for trans rights.
- 55:02I'm advocating for women's rights.
- 55:03And I believe that they're separate.
- 55:04And everyone was like, well, you can't say that.
- 55:06She's like, well, I fucking can. And I'm a billionaire.
- 55:08Remember originally she tried to be cancelled because she was
- 55:12turning like Dumbledore gay and things like this like.
- 55:16And then those same people are now trying to boom.
- 55:18Out, yes. Yeah, yeah.
- 55:22But The funny thing is too like because the the new cast of the
- 55:26Harry Potter show, which I don't know why they're doing, I guess
- 55:29for money is the answer money. But the the Hermione Jarrett.
- 55:35Go Nick Cross. She's a little bit brown, right?
- 55:37She's not she's not snowy ones. She's a little bit brown and
- 55:41people are like make wonder what Joanna Rowling thinks about
- 55:44that. And like mate, she never had a
- 55:45problem with like she's already. Spoken about that like she said,
- 55:49does she if any of her hair and that was it.
- 55:53Yeah, she has a very specific opinion.
- 55:55About yeah, but now everyone that's specifically She must be
- 55:58bigoted about everything. Yes.
- 56:01Yeah. Well, no, I think she's actually
- 56:03spoken about that in the past that she's never actually spoke
- 56:05about. What race or color Hermione was
- 56:08she? No, because people said frizzy
- 56:09hair. People got annoyed because she
- 56:11said Hermione could be black and they're like.
- 56:12What? Because in the play, yeah, I
- 56:14think they cast. No play.
- 56:19And Snape is a is a black man in the new series.
- 56:23Two people. Oh sure, being weird about that.
- 56:25Yeah, I. But see, people are being weird
- 56:29about it for the wrong reasons too.
- 56:30People are going he doesn't look anything like Alan Rickman and
- 56:33it's like he's not meant. To look like Alan.
- 56:36Rickman. That was just a different actor
- 56:38who played him. You're missing the point.
- 56:42Yes. So anyway, yeah, this article,
- 56:46yeah, it's called the JK Rowling Women's Fund.
- 56:48And it's, it's, I mean, I get why people take it the way they
- 56:52take it, but I just, I mean, yeah, it's I, I guess I don't
- 56:57know. I wouldn't say it's not anti
- 56:58trans. It's just pro women in a way
- 57:00that it's. Definitely not anti trans.
- 57:01Any more? It doesn't anti panda because it
- 57:03doesn't raise. Money it just doesn't fit with
- 57:05with with with their thing, which which is I understand and
- 57:09maybe I, you know, I don't agree with with all of it.
- 57:11No, but I can understand why she wakes up every morning and goes.
- 57:15When did becoming like, being like a militant feminist make
- 57:22you accused of like white right wing bigotry?
- 57:25You know, like the world changed around her.
- 57:29Yeah, yeah. And as we said, she's a victim
- 57:35of some horrible things that have obviously, I think it, I
- 57:40mean, I'm not psychologist, but I think it's fairly obvious that
- 57:43had a very big impact on her opinions about these things.
- 57:48She's, I was gonna say, scared of men.
- 57:53I mean, I might as well. Yeah, maybe, maybe she just.
- 57:56Yeah, she's suspicious of them. I think that's what it boils
- 57:59down to. Well, you can see what I'm
- 58:01saying someone that she. Yeah.
- 58:03Yeah, well, betrayed her. Yeah.
- 58:06Yeah. Yeah, anyway, I I don't agree
- 58:10with. Joanne, if you're listening, I
- 58:11would never hurt you like that. Call me, why are you hearing JK
- 58:16Rowling? I like.
- 58:16JK Rowling. She's you're trying to get us
- 58:18cancelled. She's nice.
- 58:20By JK Rowling What? Anti Trans.
- 58:27Even just admitting you're not trans these days because it's
- 58:30considered anti trans you know? Yes, in some circles I think so.
- 58:36All right, let's end on something fun, because that got
- 58:39deep. Yeah.
- 58:41Let's head in in bathwater. Bathwater.
- 58:44All right. Yeah, right.
- 58:46So, Matt, you. Missed.
- 58:47I assumed this. Yeah.
- 58:49No, no, no, I know you've pinned on this particular.
- 58:53So not interested, not interested whatsoever.
- 58:55No, I'm with you. OK, so we're talking about
- 58:58Sidney Sweeney, who is, I mean, she's fine.
- 59:04OK, or? Whatever.
- 59:05I mean, OK, let me clarify on that because I don't want it to
- 59:08sound like I'm just being a fucking weirdo.
- 59:09Yeah. No, no, we had to.
- 59:10We had to say this. I didn't anything.
- 59:11Yeah, I've not seen her acting anything, no opinion about that.
- 59:15But I what I am aware of is that she's been put up on this
- 59:18pedestal as some people literally saying oh she's the
- 59:22fucking most beautiful woman in the well and I don't see it.
- 59:26I just don't see it. And as I came into this room,
- 59:28she wouldn't even be the most beautiful woman in this room.
- 59:31You know what? I mean, like she's welcomed in
- 59:35my room, but I'm just going to say I still keep going back to
- 59:38The thing is, I think that the reason why she is going to be
- 59:41considered is because she's different to the normal
- 59:43Hollywood style at the moment. Is shit different?
- 59:47I don't know. Because here's the thing I saw.
- 59:50Breast size I saw. The new Supergirl today.
- 59:52And I was like, oh, is that Sidney Sweeney?
- 59:54And I'm like, no, that's someone else.
- 59:55They all look. OK, insane.
- 59:57So maybe it's changing back. We're now going the other way.
- 1:00:02Just to be clear, I'm not just talking about the tits or just
- 1:00:05the whole thing. No, no, no, no.
- 1:00:07They're clones of one another. I know, no, I'm just talking.
- 1:00:10About she's here, she's beautiful, but she's just not.
- 1:00:12I don't. I just don't see why she's like.
- 1:00:14I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's fine.
- 1:00:16She's absolutely fine. I've actually just scrolled
- 1:00:19down. No, I'm OK with this.
- 1:00:21No, I'm back in. Are you OK?
- 1:00:23You've seen the right thing. Yeah, I mean.
- 1:00:25Like scrolled down I mean. I don't see it.
- 1:00:28At all. I just don't understand the.
- 1:00:31I mean, in this picture, sure, but she's been airbrushed to the
- 1:00:33point where she doesn't even look like a human being.
- 1:00:36No, I'll Scroll down. There's.
- 1:00:38Alright, I'm in. I'm back in.
- 1:00:40Yeah, OK. Yeah, but you're back in.
- 1:00:42Yeah, yeah, she's a hottie. It's fine.
- 1:00:44Yeah, yeah, those. The point is everything for me.
- 1:00:49The point of this article is that she's jumping on the
- 1:00:52bathwater bandwagon and she is teaming up with Doctor Squatch.
- 1:00:56Which do you have, Doctor Squatch all over your feeds?
- 1:01:00No. Australia in my body?
- 1:01:01No, I don't know who, Doctor. It's probably a little after
- 1:01:04this though. Soap and deodorant Men Men's
- 1:01:08soap and deodorant. Brand.
- 1:01:10That's all over the place here, and she's teamed up with them to
- 1:01:14make 5000 bars of soap that contain her bathwater.
- 1:01:22OK. And the slogan is Hello, you
- 1:01:25dirty boys. Are you interested in my body
- 1:01:27wash? Yep.
- 1:01:32Yeah, I won't be buying this. No, neither am I.
- 1:01:35Good or no? Yeah, as I said with Belle
- 1:01:38Delphine, cash on salad, bathwater.
- 1:01:40Go for it, I put her. In the same category as I put
- 1:01:44Belle Delphine, which is like not interested except like the
- 1:01:50Bill Bill Fiend. I mean just people lost interest
- 1:01:56presumably. She made her Bunny and people
- 1:01:58lost interest since she went away.
- 1:02:00Maybe she's. Just got on her if that is what
- 1:02:02happened. The comment on the article.
- 1:02:06Complete cash grab you get no shit.
- 1:02:08Every business is a. Complete cash grab.
- 1:02:11I don't think there's anybody in the world who thinks this is not
- 1:02:14a cash grab. If they're telling Sydney
- 1:02:16sweeties bath water, what are you talking about?
- 1:02:20That goes without saying, doesn't it?
- 1:02:21They're not even trying to pretend this is anything other
- 1:02:23than a cash. Yes.
- 1:02:24No, no, no. But you could say Coca-Cola is a
- 1:02:26complete cash grab. IBM like these people.
- 1:02:30Aren't doing a Coca-Cola of it, but if Coca-Cola we're like,
- 1:02:32we've got 5000 bottles of Coke that could taste Sydney.
- 1:02:35Sweeties bath water. You don't think?
- 1:02:37People would be all over that shit.
- 1:02:39Then you are fucking deluding yourself.
- 1:02:43But I just So what? Yes, it is good honour when.
- 1:02:48You Google Sydney Sweeney. Has Sydney Sweeney ever been
- 1:02:51nude? I assume you mean in films
- 1:02:53because. Anyway, if you want some Sydney
- 1:03:03Sweeney bathwater soap, go to Doctor Scorch's website I guess
- 1:03:07and. Or go to Matt's house because
- 1:03:09he's probably got and. If you want any of my bathwater,
- 1:03:11I was only able to call. Up 4000. 94 flush, multiple
- 1:03:14orgasm. I don't think there's any human
- 1:03:16being on the planet that if they said do you want liquid filth
- 1:03:22from my body, like there's a lot of people I really admire that.
- 1:03:26I would still say that. I would still say Nah.
- 1:03:31I was like, do you want drink my bath water?
- 1:03:33I'd be like Nah but still call. Me.
- 1:03:35No, I'm saying if if you have Patreons, if they want my bath
- 1:03:38water, I will go out of my way to have a bath because I don't
- 1:03:41like baths. But I'll do it for you.
- 1:03:43What? If Sidney Sweeney likes baths,
- 1:03:46yeah. Has she ever been nude?
- 1:03:52I don't get baths, it's weird. It's like a.
- 1:03:57What do you feel? It's like Luke soup.
- 1:03:59Yes. What's that?
- 1:04:01I need a Luke soup, Yeah. Maybe there's a soup company.
- 1:04:07Sidney Sweeney can. You know, we could.
- 1:04:09We could. Campbell's Sydney Sweeney soup
- 1:04:14We can move this to the after party.
- 1:04:15Yeah, I mean, there's a hot tub in the after party.
- 1:04:18We could settle into that and put The Jets.
- 1:04:20On how do you get there? Oh, you go to multiplelucasm.com
- 1:04:23and follow the links or you go to patreon.com/multiple Lucasm.
