- 0:20Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:25Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Maley, along with
- 0:29Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma, and special guest inside the treehouse,
- 0:34Speaker 1: which is back in black. Not just because three out
- 0:37Speaker 1: of the four of us are wearing black shirt, but
- 0:39Speaker 1: Rebecca Black back in the treehouse.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Thank you, sirs, Thank you friends.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it was not planned, Raj. So I hope you
- 0:47Speaker 1: don't feel left out or excluded that the three white
- 0:50Speaker 1: people are wearing black shirts and you, the brown guy,
- 0:53Speaker 1: are wearing a white shirt.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I actually changed from a black shirt to this shirt.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Oh so close, We're almost quadruplets.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that would have been That would have been weird.
- 1:07Speaker 1: You don't need to change. Keep the white shirt. Let
- 1:11Speaker 1: you be you. You stand out among Thank you among
- 1:14Speaker 1: the pale faces here.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Thank you all right.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Quick question for you, Rebecca, and I'm singling you out
- 1:24Speaker 1: because you are married, unlike Trey, unlike Raj. Okay, we
- 1:29Speaker 1: were married.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Yep.
- 1:30Speaker 1: My thirteenth wedding anniversary was earlier this week.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Congrats, by the way, thank you.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I appreciate that. How long have you been married?
- 1:39Speaker 2: It will be I think eighteen. Nice This summer.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Okay, So do you have people ask you for marriage
- 1:50Speaker 1: advice because you and your husband have been together for
- 1:53Speaker 1: eighteen years?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Occasionally but not often, And I think it's because we
- 1:58Speaker 2: don't actually have marriage cred because we don't have kids
- 2:01Speaker 2: or something.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Interesting. There may be something to that.
- 2:07Speaker 2: What about you?
- 2:09Speaker 1: So we talked about that earlier this week. Because if
- 2:14Speaker 1: you get if you're married for a certain number of times,
- 2:17Speaker 1: people will start to ask you for, you know, marriage advice,
- 2:22Speaker 1: and my marriage advice is no, I'm not giving you
- 2:26Speaker 1: marriage advice because every relationship is unique. Because that individuals
- 2:31Speaker 1: in the relationship are unique. There are some common themes
- 2:35Speaker 1: that can run through most marriages, but at the end
- 2:38Speaker 1: of the day, every relationship is unique, and my piece
- 2:43Speaker 1: of advice for you may not work.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Oh that is the most boring answer I've ever heard
- 2:48Speaker 2: in my life. Thank you, d I love to give advice.
- 2:52Speaker 2: I'm upset that more people aren't asking.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Me, which is further proof that whatever works for me
- 2:59Speaker 1: is probably not going to work for you.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I disagree. I think my advice is always great always.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm more mind my own.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Business and nobody likes you, Dan.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So the reason why I'm asking this very frontloaded question
- 3:17Speaker 1: to you, Rebecca, and now that we're fighting about it
- 3:19Speaker 1: is recently a couple was flying on Alaska Airlines and
- 3:25Speaker 1: they were flying to their wedding and the flight attendants,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I guess everyone was really bored on this flight. So
- 3:30Speaker 1: the flight attendants went up the aisle and asked everyone
- 3:34Speaker 1: to write down their best advice for them as they
- 3:36Speaker 1: head into married life, and a lot of the answers
- 3:39Speaker 1: were the standard things like be quick to forgive, don't forget,
- 3:43Speaker 1: to say I'm sorry, communicate, blah blah blah. My position
- 3:48Speaker 1: on that is, don't take marriage advice from strangers. So
- 3:52Speaker 1: there you go. There is my controversial hot marriage advice.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Don't take marriage advice from strangers. Know where that's coming from.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You don't know those people. Also, if you're asking everyone
- 4:04Speaker 1: on a plane, not all those people are really experts
- 4:10Speaker 1: on the matter. Someone are going to be single, give
- 4:11Speaker 1: you terrible advice.
- 4:12Speaker 4: No.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I agree with you on that, but I do think
- 4:14Speaker 2: maybe they should have a preface like, hey, put how
- 4:16Speaker 2: many years you've been married first, like, or if you've
- 4:18Speaker 2: been divorced seven times, you got to write that before
- 4:21Speaker 2: you put your marriage advice.
- 4:23Speaker 1: On there, right, I think that would help. I think
- 4:25Speaker 1: a little bit of context would be jennificial. I will
- 4:28Speaker 1: say this, if there's a guy on the plane that's
- 4:31Speaker 1: been divorced seven times, I'm curious to hear his advice
- 4:34Speaker 1: same because he's seen some things.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Right, surely he's learned a few lessons from each of
- 4:41Speaker 2: those marriages. I would think that he could maybe pass
- 4:43Speaker 2: on to the future generations.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, the one lesson he didn't learn is he's not
- 4:47Speaker 3: good at marriage.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Hey, if first you don't succeed, try try again.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Or he could he could do the couple of favor
- 4:57Speaker 1: and tell them to know your limits.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Also, you know, there's that weird group of people I
- 5:02Speaker 2: think that are serial marriers, you know what I mean,
- 5:05Speaker 2: Like after the first like the first one's done four years,
- 5:08Speaker 2: so then they do it again and again and again
- 5:10Speaker 2: and again. And I'm like, I think that they're just
- 5:11Speaker 2: legitimately addicted to being married.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I have a friend of mine who, before the age
- 5:16Speaker 5: of forty, had been married four times. Wow, And on
- 5:22Speaker 5: the on the fifth one, I think I'd run into
- 5:27Speaker 5: her out and about in Addison and she's like, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 5: I'm getting married again.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I was like, and you can't be like congratulations.
- 5:33Speaker 5: I was like, and I just you know, I just went,
- 5:35Speaker 5: oh again, that was my She's like any advice.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, you're not good at this, don't.
- 5:44Speaker 2: That's my advice, don't.
- 5:47Speaker 6: I feel like that.
- 5:49Speaker 7: This may be a little sexist, but I feel like
- 5:52Speaker 7: that that the therriage is a far more female thing
- 5:55Speaker 7: because typically divorce stings the men a lot worse.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Okay, fine, because everybody that I have know that has
- 6:02Speaker 2: been married multiple times is a dude.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Yeah, when you get over four or five times.
- 6:10Speaker 6: I only people I know have done that are are women?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Really?
- 6:14Speaker 6: Yeah? Yeah, no, everybody I know anything, anyone I know.
- 6:18Speaker 6: I don't know any men that I personally. Yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Three, Like doctor Phil gives marriage advice and the same
- 6:24Speaker 5: thing like ont you married four times? Like I don't
- 6:27Speaker 5: want your advice, Like like I don't need it.
- 6:29Speaker 3: But no, I wouldn't do it again.
- 6:32Speaker 1: What to do?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Oh I like that idea too. I think that's also
- 6:37Speaker 2: valid information what not to do?
- 6:39Speaker 3: For sure.
- 6:40Speaker 5: I think that would be a bigger selling point if
- 6:42Speaker 5: you are like a marriage counselor and you're like, all
- 6:45Speaker 5: I do is tell you what not to do.
- 6:47Speaker 6: I agree.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I look at it this way. You just because just
- 6:50Speaker 1: because someone might be married or single, Just because someone
- 6:53Speaker 1: might be single doesn't mean they can't have great marriage advice.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I will give you an example. Trey has never been married. Trey,
- 6:59Speaker 1: what is your best piece of marriage advice?
- 7:03Speaker 7: Well, I mean you've, you know, told us that pegging
- 7:06Speaker 7: is the centerpiece for your marriage, So right, Rebecca, I
- 7:10Speaker 7: meant to that you is that is that part of yours?
- 7:13Speaker 2: It's not, but I mean, who's who's to say it
- 7:16Speaker 2: can be? We might be trying that this weekend. I
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't know, let's find out.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I can't wait to see your husband's face when you
- 7:21Speaker 1: tell him please do it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: My mind, he's gonna die.
- 7:28Speaker 8: If you're listening to the Treehouse, visit us online that
- 7:32Speaker 8: Treehouse on air dot com.

- 7:54Speaker 1: But even now you can surprise me. I had no
- 7:58Speaker 1: idea you could financewer roof. It's a good thing, especially
- 8:03Speaker 1: if for some reason insurance is not involved and you
- 8:06Speaker 1: don't have you know, twenty thirty forty thousand dollars just
- 8:09Speaker 1: lying around. Maybe you want to explore some options and
- 8:12Speaker 1: you guys have that ability.
- 8:14Speaker 9: Yeah, Dan, we brought that on a couple of years back,
- 8:17Speaker 9: and believe it or not, it really has helped some
- 8:19Speaker 9: folks protect their home, make sure it doesn't leak, and
- 8:24Speaker 9: keep it from having large, large expenses from interior and
- 8:28Speaker 9: attic problems. So the financing is there. We have a
- 8:31Speaker 9: unique link on our website you can go, you put
- 8:35Speaker 9: your information in. It actually is a soft inquiry, so
- 8:39Speaker 9: it doesn't hit your credit with a hard you know
- 8:42Speaker 9: credit hit that some people are scared of. And it
- 8:44Speaker 9: can gives you, you know, five six, eight options that
- 8:48Speaker 9: whichever one helps you the best. So it gives you
- 8:50Speaker 9: different terms, gives you different interest rates, different payments. Some
- 8:54Speaker 9: of them are zero interests for a certain amount of
- 8:56Speaker 9: time so you may qualify for paying it out and
- 8:59Speaker 9: you don't have to worry about entry. So all kinds
- 9:01Speaker 9: of options there, and it also helps with deductibles. Everybody's
- 9:05Speaker 9: deductibles are high right now, they're ten thousand dollars eighty
- 9:08Speaker 9: five hundred dollars. I saw one yesterday it was seventeen
- 9:11Speaker 9: thousand dollars. So these helps, you know, so if you
- 9:14Speaker 9: have to pay out your deductible, it gives you a perfect,
- 9:17Speaker 9: you know, option of doing.
- 9:18Speaker 3: That as well.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's great. So that way you have that
- 9:21Speaker 1: peace of mind that even if you can't afford that
- 9:24Speaker 1: deductible or you can't afford the cash payment of a
- 9:28Speaker 1: whole new roof, you got options when you get a
- 9:30Speaker 1: hold of cook DFW Roofing and Restoration. So do that,

- 10:34Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 10:37Speaker 1: Trey Turnholme, Raj Sharma, and today's special guest inside the
- 10:39Speaker 1: Treehouse is our friend Rebecca Black. Yeah, Trey, we were
- 10:46Speaker 1: discussing thinks it was last night as a fun treehouse
- 10:50Speaker 1: group chat that we did on a little live stream.
- 10:52Speaker 1: How's your leg doing?
- 10:53Speaker 6: Trey cautiously optimistic, at uh, it was.
- 11:03Speaker 7: Not worse this morning, which was which is good? I
- 11:07Speaker 7: mean I I got up in the middle of the night,
- 11:09Speaker 7: I iced it and everything else, so I am able
- 11:14Speaker 7: to move around with little pain. So I am hoping
- 11:16Speaker 7: it is something that will heal itself and not require
- 11:20Speaker 7: medical intervention.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Rebecca were worried because Trey went to the gym and
- 11:26Speaker 1: did a lunge and may have torn his quadriceps muscle.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Do you really think it's that bad or is it
- 11:32Speaker 2: just like a little old man sciatica situation happened?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Oh Trey knows, Oh okay.
- 11:38Speaker 7: That Rebecca Rebecca, Rebecca Rebecca. Let may ask you a question.
- 11:43Speaker 7: How do you equate a quad and A and a
- 11:45Speaker 7: in sciatica?
- 11:47Speaker 6: Oh? Well, I mean they're on different sides.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Of the not hamstring. That's my bad. I'm so sorry. Wrong.
- 11:54Speaker 1: But the ball, the ball that that shot up in
- 11:58Speaker 1: your thighs, it is it flattened out some or is it?
- 12:01Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not the amp.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Do you have pictures? Yeah, I'm gross.
- 12:09Speaker 6: Oh no, yeah, it's it is better.
- 12:12Speaker 7: Uh, Like I said, I've kept it from an iced
- 12:14Speaker 7: and so I am I am, I said cautiously optimistic.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Has Daisy, your chihuava, done anything to help make you
- 12:22Speaker 1: feel better? Because I know you go out of your
- 12:25Speaker 1: way to do wonderful things for her. So I'm wondering
- 12:28Speaker 1: if you know, if it if it's a two way
- 12:30Speaker 1: road there.
- 12:32Speaker 6: You know, she hung out with me last night.
- 12:34Speaker 7: We snuggled a little bit because you know, we're at
- 12:37Speaker 7: the point in our relationship after fifteen years where we
- 12:41Speaker 7: snug a little bit. Then normally she just goes to
- 12:43Speaker 7: her side of the.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Bed and basically tells me to piss off.
- 12:46Speaker 2: So uh so ever, like every woman.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe we should get marriage advice from Drey just
- 12:52Speaker 1: to see you know, it's like, you know, between him
- 12:54Speaker 1: and Daisy, I might still be applicable for the.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Rest of Yeah, but you don't want your marriage advice
- 12:58Speaker 5: to be pop cup.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That would.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Let's hear it out rise, let's not immediately disqualified. I mean,
- 13:06Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure most men would be super happy if
- 13:09Speaker 1: their wives took them through the drive through a DECU
- 13:11Speaker 1: and got them a blizzard.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Yeah, little thing.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Okay, I've never had a blizzard, so I don't know
- 13:19Speaker 5: what it is I'm missing.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Oh so much?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Have you ever been to dairy Queen?
- 13:25Speaker 2: M but you've never You've never partake in the I'm not.

- 13:39Speaker 1: at Stephenville County Hospital and you grew up in Mesquite?
- 13:43Speaker 1: I did You've been to a dairy queen multiple times?
- 13:46Speaker 1: The chickens instead the steak finger basket today? Yeah, you've
- 13:50Speaker 1: never had a blizzard. How do you have the steak
- 13:52Speaker 1: finger basket and not wash it down with a yummy blizzard.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Yeah. I'm not a.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Big sweet ice cream guy, so.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Perfect balance of that greasy, salty nastiness and then deliciousness.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I hope you never worked for Queen. All the good
- 14:13Speaker 3: stuff greasy nasty Yeah, probably.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Good if you dip your finger in the blizzard.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Who needs a spoon? Go to dairy Queen. Hey, do
- 14:26Speaker 1: you want the spoon straw? Now you save it for
- 14:28Speaker 1: the next game. I'm going knuckle. I'm going like knuckles.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Deeps mmm mm hmmmm hmm.
- 14:36Speaker 1: You you ain't texting until you finger the blizzard.

- 15:42Speaker 1: He's trade. That's rage. There is Rebecca Black inside the
- 15:45Speaker 1: treehouse today. Does anyone have a housekeeper slash cleaner that
- 15:52Speaker 1: comes currently?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Not anymore? I'm poor.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I hear you ever have one growing up?
- 16:01Speaker 2: I didn't have one growing up. We had one like, uh,
- 16:04Speaker 2: maybe ten years ago, but she kept breaking stuff, so
- 16:06Speaker 2: I was like, uh, it's costing us more.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I remember one of my first I've never been to
- 16:13Speaker 1: stand up comic, even though Raj's wanted me to for years,
- 16:16Speaker 1: but I remember my very first premise that I came
- 16:20Speaker 1: up with. Had I wanted to be a stand up comedian.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I came up with it when I was like five
- 16:25Speaker 1: six years old, not because it's I thought at the
- 16:27Speaker 1: time it's a stand up premise, but because it's a
- 16:30Speaker 1: hack stand up premise, and I came up with it
- 16:33Speaker 1: on my own. When I was six, we had the
- 16:35Speaker 1: housekeeper coming and my mom and dad were telling me,
- 16:37Speaker 1: go clean your room, to which I responded, why am
- 16:40Speaker 1: I cleaning my room if the housekeeper's coming. That is
- 16:44Speaker 1: a joke you will hear at an open mic pretty
- 16:46Speaker 1: much anytime anywhere in the United States from some new comic.
- 16:52Speaker 1: But I also think everyone did it.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Now, I had two stages of childhood. There was a
- 16:58Speaker 1: time we had the housekeeper, and then I had the
- 17:01Speaker 1: post divorce where it's like, no, no, I was the housekeeper.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So I know both sides very well. But still the
- 17:07Speaker 1: idea of cleaning before the housekeeper. Yeah or nay, Trey,
- 17:10Speaker 1: what's the look on your face?
- 17:11Speaker 7: I mean I thought I would have thought your premise
- 17:13Speaker 7: at five and six would have been like, so nobody wants.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Me, Trey.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I was adopted at three months, not thirteen.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Was that five or six?
- 17:26Speaker 1: I mean yeah, five or six years old? I had
- 17:29Speaker 1: a home with a with a loving family, and.
- 17:32Speaker 12: Yeah, oh god, Roger, No, I just see like, you know,
- 17:45Speaker 12: little poor year old Dan just staring out the back
- 17:48Speaker 12: up the sliding door, like.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I wonder where they are. Do they think of it?
- 17:54Speaker 3: Like it's a musical in my head? Like do they
- 17:56Speaker 3: think about me?
- 17:58Speaker 1: Of course I wasn't were at an orphanage, so I
- 18:01Speaker 1: don't know if they have housekeeping there.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Rebecca, do you know the story about the Walmart? I
- 18:07Speaker 5: do not Dan kill our friend in for the swap?
- 18:13Speaker 1: All right? Fine, so.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Walt, I'm very confused, right, I was.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Not purchased at a Walmart. I was swapped at a Walmart. Swapped, yes,
- 18:23Speaker 1: so they'll exchange anything.
- 18:25Speaker 2: I was like, were they taking you back?
- 18:28Speaker 1: There's no receipts. It was mostly like a store credit thing.
- 18:31Speaker 8: No.
- 18:31Speaker 1: So what happened was my my parents, my parents who
- 18:35Speaker 1: adopted me. They'd been on the wait list for quite
- 18:38Speaker 1: a while. This is in the state of Oklahoma, and
- 18:40Speaker 1: it was a state adoption through the Health and Human Services,
- 18:42Speaker 1: right and at that time, back in nineteen eighty, they
- 18:46Speaker 1: wanted everyone to be matched up pretty well, just in
- 18:49Speaker 1: case you didn't want to tell the kid that you
- 18:51Speaker 1: weren't theirs. So we had the closed adoption and uh. Anyway,
- 18:59Speaker 1: they were on the wait list and they got paired
- 19:02Speaker 1: with me, matched with me based on certain biological factors
- 19:06Speaker 1: or whatever. And so when my parents got the call
- 19:09Speaker 1: and say we got you a baby, they drove to
- 19:11Speaker 1: Oklahoma City to pick me up. And then they're driving
- 19:16Speaker 1: back home to northern Oklahoma with the baby in the
- 19:19Speaker 1: back seat, and they have a photo of me, and
- 19:21Speaker 1: my dad is looking at the photo of me and
- 19:24Speaker 1: comparing it to this kid in the car seat behind him,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and he tells my mom, this is not our kid.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So they turn around, go back to Health and Human
- 19:32Speaker 1: Services in Oklahoma and get into a screaming fit because
- 19:35Speaker 1: they're telling them this is not our kid and they're
- 19:37Speaker 1: showing it. Their response was, well, you wanted a kid,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you got a kid. And he's like, no, if that
- 19:41Speaker 1: was a case, what had a kid years ago? We
- 19:43Speaker 1: were supposed to have this kid right And to my
- 19:45Speaker 1: mom's credit, as much as she cannot stand, may he
- 19:48Speaker 1: rest in peace. My father she said, that's the angriest
- 19:52Speaker 1: have ever seen your father, and he demanded that they
- 19:55Speaker 1: get me. They wanted me, and they said, well, the
- 19:58Speaker 1: other kid's already gone, is our he gone with his family.
- 20:00Speaker 1: It's like, we'll call them back. So they get a
- 20:03Speaker 1: hold of the other family. They had made it home
- 20:04Speaker 1: with me. They agreed to meet at a Walmart in
- 20:07Speaker 1: between where they lived and Oklahoma City, so somewhere to
- 20:10Speaker 1: Walmart in southwestern Oklahoma. It was one couple that had
- 20:14Speaker 1: me and my parents and they swapped babies.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Wow.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just glad that he was looking at the
- 20:21Speaker 5: picture like on the way home and not like the
- 20:24Speaker 5: graduation picture and be like.
- 20:27Speaker 2: The hold on, super impressed with your dad. Because most
- 20:32Speaker 2: biological parents don't recognize their kid from birth to that point.
- 20:37Speaker 2: So the fact that your dad is like this is
- 20:38Speaker 2: not the right one. I'm impressed.
- 20:40Speaker 1: And I asked him, I said, how how could you
- 20:42Speaker 1: tell a three month old kid? And he's like, because
- 20:45Speaker 1: the other kid was like super micheline baby style, Okay,
- 20:49Speaker 1: he was black. Stuff just didn't seem right there. Okay,
- 20:58Speaker 1: what is it, Rebecca?
- 21:00Speaker 2: What's gonna say? Do you know what happened to your
- 21:02Speaker 2: other parents? What if they're like super rich and you
- 21:04Speaker 2: could have been like a trust fund baby.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They were going to southwestern Oklahoma. So nope, no, I
- 21:11Speaker 1: went to the right part of the state for that.
- 21:18Speaker 6: You are in the.

- 22:18Speaker 1: is the Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, he's Trey, that's Raj,
- 22:20Speaker 1: and there's Rebecca. Yes, Trey. I would like to get
- 22:25Speaker 1: back to the do you clean before the housekeeper shows up?
- 22:28Speaker 6: Story?
- 22:31Speaker 7: That's good because now, like you know how the trend
- 22:34Speaker 7: on social media now is like abything, like you're like
- 22:39Speaker 7: taking a something you would do, like if take this
- 22:45Speaker 7: picture right here, but it would all be like little
- 22:47Speaker 7: AI generated baby images of us.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, I haven't seen that. So I was
- 22:52Speaker 1: afraid where you were going. I thought people were taking
- 22:54Speaker 1: their babies putting them on the end of swiffers and
- 22:57Speaker 1: moving them around the house.
- 22:58Speaker 7: I just see like a four year old Dan, you know,
- 23:00Speaker 7: on stage with a microphone.
- 23:04Speaker 3: What's the deal with housekeepers?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Why am I cleaning up before the housekeeper gets here?
- 23:12Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:13Speaker 3: My mom would make us clean.
- 23:14Speaker 5: And then this is the thing I hated, Like we
- 23:16Speaker 5: had a housekeeper, but when we were having like people
- 23:19Speaker 5: come over for dinner. She was like, we got to
- 23:21Speaker 5: hurry up and clean, and then we would do that
- 23:23Speaker 5: to the best of our abilities. And the first thing
- 23:25Speaker 5: she would say when they'd walk in, sorry, the house
- 23:27Speaker 5: is such a mess.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we're just you.
- 23:30Speaker 1: We just did that.
- 23:35Speaker 5: So sorry, this house is such a mess, And I'm like,
- 23:37Speaker 5: you didn't get if you guys would have walked in
- 23:39Speaker 5: here thirty minutes ago, way worse.
- 23:43Speaker 2: It's like a humble brag.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Yeah. If I show up to somebody's house and they say,
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm so sorry the house is a mess. As they're
- 23:50Speaker 1: starting to let me in, I'll stop, take a step
- 23:52Speaker 1: back and stay on the front porch and say it's okay.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'll wait until you finish. I wouldn't want I wouldn't
- 23:57Speaker 1: want you to be embarrassed. Yeah, they call them out.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I know you're lying.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I know you're lying.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that's an adult move, Like I couldn't do that
- 24:07Speaker 5: as a kid. I wouldn't be sitting in front of
- 24:08Speaker 5: you today if I had done that to my mother.
- 24:12Speaker 5: Just stand outside, guys, we'll finish up. You don't want
- 24:15Speaker 5: to eat here right now, it's not sanitary.
- 24:21Speaker 1: What percentage of people do you think clean before the
- 24:24Speaker 1: house cleaner gets to the house.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh my god, I would say at least like eighty
- 24:28Speaker 2: five percent, maybe even higher.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Pretty good, tray. What about you, sixty RAJ one dollar,
- 24:37Speaker 1: that's not an option.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna go forty four percent.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Okay, you know what, if we're doing it without going over, Raj,
- 24:47Speaker 1: you would win. But if going over is okay and
- 24:49Speaker 1: just getting closest, Trey would be the winner here because
- 24:52Speaker 1: it's about half a new pole. A new poll found
- 24:56Speaker 1: cleaning your home before your house cleaner gets there pretty interesting.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Fifty three percent of Americans say that they clean before
- 25:04Speaker 1: the house cleaner gets there.
- 25:06Speaker 2: You have to you have to hide all the stuff
- 25:08Speaker 2: that you don't want people to know about you.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Duh, the nightstand drawer, all of that.
- 25:16Speaker 2: No, I don't need people to know that there's mold
- 25:18Speaker 2: in my shower like ninety five percent of the time
- 25:20Speaker 2: until the maid comes.
- 25:22Speaker 1: What I'll do?
- 25:23Speaker 12: Uh?
- 25:24Speaker 1: And I say this what I'll do. It's not like
- 25:25Speaker 1: I really have much experience with this as an adult.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Will maybe a couple of times a year have someone
- 25:32Speaker 1: come in for like a deep clean, uh, in which
- 25:35Speaker 1: case I'm not doing a whole lot of pre cleaning there,
- 25:38Speaker 1: Like you're here to do some serious like move the
- 25:40Speaker 1: furniture and get in places where I don't normally get
- 25:43Speaker 1: all like that. But I'll set the stage for success
- 25:47Speaker 1: for you, Like I'll start a load of laundry, but
- 25:50Speaker 1: I'll leave it in the dryer for the individual to finish.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Waite, Are you feel cool with them folding your underwear?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Well, I just don't put that in. That's a separate
- 26:02Speaker 1: that's a separate lood.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Okay, so we just.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, no, but Raj, yes, it's not it's not evil.
- 26:09Speaker 1: It's just I'm hiring you to do the thing or
- 26:12Speaker 1: things that I don't want to do, and that includes
- 26:15Speaker 1: folding laundry. I hate folding laundry. One of these days
- 26:18Speaker 1: when AI takes over, I'm fine with it as long
- 26:21Speaker 1: as I get a laundry folding robot.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I'm just saying, like, you just leave it in the
- 26:25Speaker 3: drug so it just wrinkles.
- 26:28Speaker 1: No, it's got like the little fluff thing on the drug.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Oh okay, you have one of the newer drug because
- 26:32Speaker 5: I'm like, you're just gonna let it wrinkle like that,
- 26:34Speaker 5: that's what you.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Can restart the dryer. I do it all the time.
- 26:37Speaker 2: You do twelve cycles on the dryer, the wrinkles will
- 26:39Speaker 2: be fine.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Exactly that. That's what that's what we did with the
- 26:42Speaker 1: older dryer. The newer dryer you can put it on
- 26:43Speaker 1: the fluff thing and then it'll take care of it.
- 26:46Speaker 1: But yeah, no, I want I want the house cleaner
- 26:48Speaker 1: to do that because I don't want to do that.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I've already put the stuff in. Let let them fold it.
- 26:52Speaker 3: And they say, and they say, white privilege isn't real.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Yeah, like, I want the robot to do it. I
- 26:56Speaker 2: don't want a real person doing it.
- 26:59Speaker 7: Even I'm sitting here going I'm appalled by the whiteness
- 27:01Speaker 7: of this conversation.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Yes that's a white I saw face, and I'm like,
- 27:06Speaker 5: he's on the same page, like for all of us
- 27:10Speaker 5: weren't black T shirts.
- 27:11Speaker 3: It's the whitest conversation we've ever had.
- 27:15Speaker 1: No, I don't understand the whiteness of that. It's like
- 27:17Speaker 1: I don't want to do something and I'm hiring someone
- 27:20Speaker 1: else to do it that I like. I like, how
- 27:23Speaker 1: hold on?
- 27:23Speaker 2: How is his thought process any different? If you're like,
- 27:26Speaker 2: your car is messed up, you want to take it
- 27:28Speaker 2: to a mechanic because you don't want to do it yourself.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Like you don't want to change the oil yourself? How
- 27:32Speaker 2: is that anything?
- 27:32Speaker 6: That's no, it's because you don't know how.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know how to learn, but I don't
- 27:38Speaker 1: want to. I don't have the time. Why like that?
- 27:42Speaker 1: I could change my oil oil if I wanted to.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Tray YouTube teaches everything that's right?
- 27:48Speaker 3: Okay, I like to iron my hundreds.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Mmm, my wife does all the checking of the oil.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Doesn't mean that I can't change it?
- 28:00Speaker 6: Does she give you your gray Poopon two, you're in

- 28:59Speaker 1: that's Raj, and there is Rebecca inside the Treehouse Show today. Raj,
- 29:05Speaker 1: what is what did you say? What is it you
- 29:06Speaker 1: love about housework?
- 29:08Speaker 5: I like I like to like. I like folding clothes.
- 29:11Speaker 5: It's very peaceful, it's very zen. I like to iron.
- 29:14Speaker 5: I like the vacuum. I don't do dishes.
- 29:17Speaker 3: The texture gets weird.
- 29:18Speaker 5: And I get I'm not I'm not doing that. But yeah,
- 29:22Speaker 5: I like to dust like that's very peaceful. Like I
- 29:25Speaker 5: can throw some music on and can you go over.
- 29:31Speaker 6: Now?
- 29:31Speaker 5: I'm the housekeeper. Really, Rebecca, you picked the brown guy
- 29:35Speaker 5: on the show.
- 29:37Speaker 2: I was wanting you to do it for free.
- 29:39Speaker 1: No, you said you love it.
- 29:41Speaker 6: I do.
- 29:41Speaker 11: I have.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I've ironed many times.
- 29:44Speaker 5: We go we go on tour and there'd be other
- 29:47Speaker 5: comics and I'm like, how are you walking out on
- 29:48Speaker 5: stage with that shirt again?
- 29:50Speaker 2: How are you not married?
- 29:52Speaker 6: I was.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Like, how did that not last? Because if I had
- 29:56Speaker 2: a man like you, I would do whatever it was
- 29:59Speaker 2: within my power to keep you cleaning for me, because
- 30:01Speaker 2: that's the siest thing a man can do.
- 30:04Speaker 5: I I and I did while I was married. I
- 30:06Speaker 5: did the ironing, I did the laundry. I did the folding,
- 30:09Speaker 5: I did all of that stuff like that.
- 30:10Speaker 8: It was.
- 30:12Speaker 3: No, no, it was it was it was it was me.
- 30:15Speaker 5: I woke up one morning and I just looked at
- 30:16Speaker 5: her and I said, are you happy because I'm not,
- 30:18Speaker 5: and we just kind of hugged it out.
- 30:20Speaker 3: It was great.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I still didn't those clothes.
- 30:23Speaker 3: No, I loved it. That was fun.
- 30:25Speaker 6: It's funny.
- 30:26Speaker 7: I was just having this conversation with one of my bartenders,
- 30:28Speaker 7: like he was in the military, and it was like,
- 30:32Speaker 7: I don't own I used to have an iron aboard.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I don't.
- 30:35Speaker 6: I've got a little steamer in nmc uh.
- 30:40Speaker 7: Uh, I just I don't have I mean, I guess
- 30:45Speaker 7: you take you know, and I guess technology with with
- 30:47Speaker 7: materials they just don't wrinkle like as bad as they
- 30:50Speaker 7: used to.
- 30:50Speaker 3: But uh, yeah, I have an iron.
- 30:53Speaker 2: In a decade, I'm major feeling like I'm the dude
- 30:56Speaker 2: of this group. Today it might be only I what
- 31:00Speaker 2: a washcloth, Oh my god, shut the door and turn again.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Absolutely, anything to get the wrinkles out there, anything, anything
- 31:09Speaker 1: I can do that does not involve me holding an iron,
- 31:12Speaker 1: I will absolutely do it.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Get your stuff out of the dryer, on time and
- 31:16Speaker 6: it won't.
- 31:17Speaker 3: That's exactly Tray.
- 31:19Speaker 2: I can't.
- 31:19Speaker 1: That's that's part of it. That's the part of it. Look,
- 31:22Speaker 1: sometimes life gets in the way and you have to
- 31:23Speaker 1: go change the oil before before the launder is done.
- 31:26Speaker 1: So you so, like Rebecca said, there are hacks you
- 31:29Speaker 1: can do to what Yeah, it's called throw it in.
- 31:32Speaker 7: It's called like put your shirts together and do that
- 31:34Speaker 7: in one load, and then you know when they're in there,
- 31:37Speaker 7: you take them out of the dryer on time, put
- 31:39Speaker 7: them on a hangar.
- 31:39Speaker 6: They don't wrinkle.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
- 31:42Speaker 1: However, on occasion something gets in the way and they
- 31:45Speaker 1: sit in there for a while.
- 31:46Speaker 5: There are tricks there, there are things you can do.
- 31:49Speaker 5: I did say I would never get married again. But
- 31:51Speaker 5: Tray's looking really good right now.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Cute that reality show.
- 31:57Speaker 3: You guys be a great Yeah.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Who would kill who first?
- 32:02Speaker 3: Trade times is the charm?
- 32:04Speaker 1: Yeah, No, Trey would kill first.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I think Trey would kill him too.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, but I mean, and you guys are putting
- 32:11Speaker 5: like wedding a rag and putting that in there, there's
- 32:13Speaker 5: a possibility for lint. So to avoid that, ice cubes.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Just take two ice cubes and throw them in there.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I can do that too.
- 32:21Speaker 1: There's also non you woint your clothes to uh dry
- 32:24Speaker 1: a little bit faster and you're out of dryer sheets,
- 32:28Speaker 1: paper bag.
- 32:30Speaker 5: Or yes, foiloil in a dryer oil, I swear or
- 32:38Speaker 5: tennis balls? Is that from the first one behind you.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Dan, Let me ask you who does more laundry? You
- 32:48Speaker 6: were Tara.
- 32:51Speaker 7: I feeling Tara might have a point of order in
- 32:54Speaker 7: this conversation of of you.
- 32:56Speaker 6: How you're telling me you do the same amount of laundry.
- 33:00Speaker 1: He's calling you out, bro, I would say, she probably does.
- 33:05Speaker 1: She she does slightly more than I do because she
- 33:10Speaker 1: she's quicker to jump on it than I am.
- 33:13Speaker 3: So she does it more frequently. M okay, So she
- 33:16Speaker 3: still has more. She just does it.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Actually, if one of us has more laundry, it's probably me.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Really, she can do your laundry. I think it's the
- 33:25Speaker 2: question that we're that ultimately they're trying to do it
- 33:28Speaker 2: all together.
- 33:28Speaker 1: There have been a couple of interesting altercations though, where
- 33:31Speaker 1: it's been bandied about about doing our own laundry separately.
- 33:35Speaker 5: When you mix up your thongs.
- 33:41Speaker 1: I take it back. There is one piece of a
- 33:43Speaker 1: marriage advice that I would offer people.

- 34:43Speaker 1: Interesting discussions today about domestic issues, relationships, marriage advice, cleaning
- 34:49Speaker 1: not cleaning, ironing not ironing, and how to avoid ironing.
- 34:55Speaker 1: One man was so fed up that he just dropped
- 34:59Speaker 1: everything into say to go sail around the world. Now
- 35:03Speaker 1: he had a really good reason, and he didn't do
- 35:05Speaker 1: it alone. In fact, a man from Oregon, his name
- 35:09Speaker 1: is Oliver Widger. He quit his job so he could
- 35:13Speaker 1: sail around the world with his cat goals. This was
- 35:18Speaker 1: not you know at This was not the result of
- 35:21Speaker 1: a bad breakup. It was actually much much worse. He
- 35:25Speaker 1: was diagnosed with a rare bone disorder, so he decided
- 35:28Speaker 1: he was going to cash in as four O one
- 35:30Speaker 1: K and sail around the world with his cat. And
- 35:34Speaker 1: of course, like a lot of people do these days,
- 35:36Speaker 1: when you do something interesting and against the grain, he
- 35:39Speaker 1: documents all of it on social media. And because he's
- 35:42Speaker 1: garnered such a big following he and his cat, that
- 35:46Speaker 1: means there's sponsorship opportunities there. So on his boat recently,
- 35:52Speaker 1: someone decided to drop off a care package for him,
- 35:54Speaker 1: and here he is describing what happened at his boat.
- 36:00Speaker 6: A plane following me.
- 36:01Speaker 3: You got a door open, they dropped something.
- 36:04Speaker 5: So it turns out that drop was from Elf Cosmetics, so.
- 36:09Speaker 3: They're the ones who sent me the pre goals. I
- 36:12Speaker 3: didn't really know it was actually from Elf.
- 36:13Speaker 8: They dropped off all this stuff, some cosmetics, face scream
- 36:18Speaker 8: and sunscreen.
- 36:20Speaker 1: So I am pretty burnt.
- 36:22Speaker 3: So I appreciate that you guys, I.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Can appreciate the attempt, but I'm not buying it. This
- 36:30Speaker 1: was absolutely pre planned, because that's how because otherwise how
- 36:34Speaker 1: would they know where he was to drop off the
- 36:36Speaker 1: care package.
- 36:38Speaker 7: Also because he even had his own Instagram account on
- 36:43Speaker 7: his location.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Of course, But no, all of this is fake. All
- 36:47Speaker 2: of social media stuff is fake. Any type of advertisement
- 36:49Speaker 2: is fake. I don't buy any of it these days.
- 36:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 1: And besides, if you're a company and you want, yeah,
- 36:55Speaker 1: genuine kindness towards this man, what you do is you
- 37:00Speaker 1: find his location and you drop off a cure for
- 37:02Speaker 1: his bone disorder, not sunscreen.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I would send calcium.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Or maybe drop off some of the antics or something
- 37:11Speaker 1: for the cat.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Just.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Luck bunny, some vitamin D, all the supplements he could
- 37:22Speaker 2: possibly handle.
- 37:24Speaker 5: Throw something out of a plane for the guy with
- 37:26Speaker 5: bone disease to catch.
- 37:31Speaker 2: So he's got bone disease, but his skin is full
- 37:33Speaker 2: lawless guys.
- 37:34Speaker 6: That's right.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, there's there's no structure to it. It's mostly just floppy,
- 37:41Speaker 1: but it's so shiny and hydrated. At least at least
- 37:46Speaker 1: the cosmetics company threw in some pringles though, so at
- 37:48Speaker 1: least you know there's a little something.
- 37:52Speaker 5: Even then that's kind of a bonus.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Are awesome, by the way, but that like, you're also
- 37:58Speaker 3: like dying.
- 37:59Speaker 1: So he's not dying. He's fine. He cashed in his
- 38:03Speaker 1: four O one. He's not a drift on a on
- 38:05Speaker 1: a raft in the middle of the Pacific or something
- 38:07Speaker 1: like that. He's hanging out with his cat, living off
- 38:10Speaker 1: his four oh one K sure, but.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Is the bone disease not deadly? And I'm confused that.
- 38:18Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I don't know if it's deadly. I don't think it
- 38:20Speaker 1: is because he seems fine. He's just decided he's he
- 38:26Speaker 1: just wants to live life in the moment as opposed
- 38:29Speaker 1: to putting things off. And and for the record, pringles
- 38:32Speaker 1: are a great thing to drop down for this guy,
- 38:34Speaker 1: because not only is it a snack for him, but
- 38:37Speaker 1: it's a toy for the cat.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 5: And you'll also know if the bone the bone disease
- 38:42Speaker 5: is deadly in a couple of weeks if you find
- 38:44Speaker 5: the cat being the skipper, Uh.
- 38:50Speaker 2: That's one will know.
- 38:56Speaker 7: No matter what, dude's not going to be alone. I'm
- 39:00Speaker 7: surprised women weren't parachuting onto the boat and his following.
- 39:06Speaker 7: You know, if he was looking for companionship, the man
- 39:11Speaker 7: will be doing just fine. Yeah, his cat will not
- 39:14Speaker 7: be alone.
- 39:16Speaker 1: It also won't be the only cat on board.
- 39:20Speaker 3: How bad of a partner do you have to be?
- 39:22Speaker 3: It's like I'm leaving for who the guy with bone
- 39:24Speaker 3: cancer and a cat.
- 39:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna swipe right and then you travel to a
- 39:30Speaker 1: new hemisphere for this man. Thank you Elf Cosmetics for
- 39:37Speaker 1: dropping off pringos, some sunscreen, and about fifteen crazy women
