- 1:50Speaker 4: what they are absolutely rolling right now getting projects all.

- 2:42Speaker 4: quality reliability matters, make sure you choose Paler.
- 2:47Speaker 3: But all right, I know tays want to talk about
- 2:49Speaker 3: this for a couple of days, so I want to
- 2:51Speaker 3: have a little roundtable discussion here. Josh Pate, you all know,
- 2:57Speaker 3: big voice in college football put it out the other
- 3:00Speaker 3: day that the most hated team in college football right
- 3:03Speaker 3: now is Blank.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So before I carry on with this story, when you
- 3:09Speaker 2: hear that question, what's your answer? Notre Dame, Notre Dame?
- 3:13Speaker 5: Can you repeat it?
- 3:14Speaker 2: Well? In reality, the most hated team in college football
- 3:17Speaker 2: right now is.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Blank right now this second, ye, Notre Dame.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Or l s U. Okay, like is this for me
- 3:31Speaker 2: or who?
- 3:32Speaker 4: I think obviously put this out there some people sales year, Yeah, conversation,
- 3:38Speaker 4: do you think so?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, yeah, she.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Will be up there. Michigan will be up there with
- 3:43Speaker 7: all the crap that's happening to them. The cup basketbally
- 3:46Speaker 7: care so much about that state will be up there.
- 3:49Speaker 4: But yeah, I mean LSU will be up there for sure.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I mean, if if people can look past their like
- 3:56Speaker 4: their school's rival, right, I mean, we've talked about it
- 4:00Speaker 4: since this whole situation happened. Like LSU is paying himself
- 4:04Speaker 4: in the corner as the villain, and you got to
- 4:05Speaker 4: embrace that role. I think that's calmed down a lot. Yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 4: I mean, but once college football gets kicked back up
- 4:14Speaker 4: again and back in the news like the the popular
- 4:17Speaker 4: news cycle around the country, it will probably probably keep going.
- 4:24Speaker 2: All right.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Well, I asked a question because lane Kiffin quote tweeted
- 4:30Speaker 3: it and put a tiger emoji.
- 4:35Speaker 7: I think you want to be the most hated, right,
- 4:37Speaker 7: I mean teams are teams are scared of you, And
- 4:39Speaker 7: you could say, oh, it's different though, it's because lane
- 4:42Speaker 7: Kiffin came here. Nobody myself included was anywhere near scared
- 4:47Speaker 7: of Ole Miss when Lane Kiffin was there. It's LSU.
- 4:50Speaker 7: It's what you could do with him, what you can
- 4:52Speaker 7: do together, Like I want to be I want to
- 4:54Speaker 7: be the villain.
- 4:55Speaker 2: There's different and what the question how I interpret it?
- 4:59Speaker 2: That's different?
- 4:59Speaker 4: Like, yeah, people hate Alabama because they won, but right
- 5:04Speaker 4: now LSU just comes off a bad season and they're
- 5:07Speaker 4: the most hated, So like, that's not the it's not
- 5:10Speaker 4: an intimidation. It's just like they hate the way everything
- 5:13Speaker 4: went down. Now you are, and I think that's the way.
- 5:17Speaker 7: I just think if you're a team that doesn't pose
- 5:19Speaker 7: a threat, nobody's gonna hate you, regardless.
- 5:21Speaker 4: He didn't pose a threat. Did you know at least
- 5:26Speaker 4: some people think but it was hated pre right, Oh yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 4: which is fine, you embrace it.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I was just about to ask that was gonna be
- 5:41Speaker 2: kind of my lead in I'm okay with it. I'm okay.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I don't care if anybody likes me.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Were we successful as a team, were we successful as
- 5:51Speaker 3: a school, were we successful as a fan base?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Coming together?
- 5:54Speaker 3: I don't care, because you got to be doing something
- 5:57Speaker 3: in the right direction for people to hate you. Nobody hates, Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 3: I guess you do. Nobody hates Nobody hates the Cleveland Browns,
- 6:05Speaker 3: Nobody hates the New York Jets. Nobody hates the Washington Wizards,
- 6:09Speaker 3: nobody hates the Chicago White Sox. They're all doing nothing.
- 6:14Speaker 3: They do nothing to threaten anything about anybody's business. Notre
- 6:20Speaker 3: Dame is hated because Notre Dame. Oftentimes as well, they're
- 6:22Speaker 3: in the conversation right, wrong or in different they're in
- 6:25Speaker 3: the conversation. They think of a team or franchise that's hated.
- 6:28Speaker 3: That doesn't matter, That doesn't.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Move the needle.
- 6:31Speaker 7: There's another one.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It means you're doing something right. Okay what I mean?
- 6:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree, Like I'm not sitting here disagree. But
- 6:44Speaker 4: I don't think it's like either one thing or another. Yes,
- 6:49Speaker 4: the hiring of lank even clearly gives LSU an advantage
- 6:54Speaker 4: in the future, but the reason why the question was
- 6:58Speaker 4: asked he wanted to start up controversy and people talking
- 7:02Speaker 4: because like the Lank Kiffin like at the time, it
- 7:05Speaker 4: has nothing to do with like everybody hates LSU because
- 7:08Speaker 4: they're gonna win national championship next year.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with that that question that.
- 7:13Speaker 8: I also don't think that anybody really fears Notre Dame.
- 7:17Speaker 8: Like I know that they just were in the college
- 7:20Speaker 8: football playoff the year before and everything, But I like,
- 7:22Speaker 8: people hate Notre Dame, but I don't think anybody fears that.
- 7:25Speaker 4: It's not a hate because they are that good. It's
- 7:27Speaker 4: a hate because there is why I hate them exactly.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 7:34Speaker 2: That would be the answer to what Jake the question.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Jake just pose that we don't hate them because we
- 7:40Speaker 4: fear we hate them because they're They're annoying, annoying and
- 7:45Speaker 4: they soft and saw people are hating new people are
- 7:49Speaker 4: hating l s U because of the way the Kivin
- 7:53Speaker 4: drama and the governor doing that, Like the whole thing.
- 7:56Speaker 2: We all know what it was. All that's calmed down,
- 7:59Speaker 2: like who cares, Like if you're the villain, great be it?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Do it?
- 8:05Speaker 4: Gotta go win though, if you're gonna if you're going
- 8:07Speaker 4: to be the villain, you better win. I should have cowboys,
- 8:11Speaker 4: like obviously, Josh Pate wants interaction to boost like the post.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I mean, so he's like, so I just wanted to
- 8:18Speaker 4: the bear with this question.
- 8:19Speaker 8: Use it.
- 8:20Speaker 3: I use Josh question to get the conversation going here
- 8:23Speaker 3: because the replies aren't l like I haven't seen LSU yet,
- 8:26Speaker 3: and the replies y'all, it's always. This guy says, always
- 8:30Speaker 3: will be Alabama haters hate winners. This guy says Ohio
- 8:34Speaker 3: State they never lose, they just beat themselves. Notre Dame,
- 8:37Speaker 3: they never win, but they think they're special. This guy
- 8:40Speaker 3: says Old miss when it give zero credit to the
- 8:42Speaker 3: coach who resurrected them because he got a promotion. This
- 8:46Speaker 3: guy says Miami buying rental quarterbacks off other teams. They
- 8:50Speaker 3: aren't even in a college town, their fan base doesn't
- 8:53Speaker 3: even go to home games. They played in an NFL stadium.
- 8:56Speaker 3: This guy says Notre Dame, obvious reasons. This guy says
- 9:00Speaker 3: Indiana they're champions and now we have to hear about
- 9:02Speaker 3: it forever. This guy says Washington. Everyone hates a winner
- 9:06Speaker 3: who's not supposed to win. So this guy says the
- 9:09Speaker 3: Florida Gators because obvious.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Indiana is like a lovable winner.
- 9:15Speaker 7: I hat Miami a Notre Dame for pretty much the
- 9:19Speaker 7: exact same reason.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Mimi Miami.
- 9:21Speaker 5: I don't care about that.
- 9:22Speaker 7: I just I think Miami's propped up a lot when
- 9:25Speaker 7: when they shouldn't be. Not little credit to them, they
- 9:26Speaker 7: made the Natty, But.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yes, Miami.
- 9:29Speaker 7: Miami's consistently one of those talked about programs. They haven't
- 9:32Speaker 7: won the national championships. It's two thousand.
- 9:35Speaker 8: I don't ever really hear people talking too much about them.
- 9:37Speaker 8: Maybe this season, but they had a reason for him.
- 9:42Speaker 2: I mean, doing college radio for eight years now, we
- 9:45Speaker 2: would talk about them.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I think in the off season more than the season.
- 9:49Speaker 3: It would be a kind of like Texas conversation for
- 9:51Speaker 3: a long time. Is Miami back and Miami back? It
- 9:55Speaker 3: was more preseason, I think than because in season then
- 9:57Speaker 3: they lose games.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, Miami like.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Exactly. And I put USC in the Notre Dame category,
- 10:04Speaker 7: not not quite as much, but I put them all
- 10:05Speaker 7: in this.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Nobody's in the Notre Dame category. Nobody's there. They're like
- 10:09Speaker 4: up here on well, them in Florida. I guess because
- 10:14Speaker 4: I just because personal reasons. But the reason why everybody
- 10:17Speaker 4: should hate Notre Dame is head and shoulders above everybody else,
- 10:20Speaker 4: the reason why you should hate other people.
- 10:24Speaker 2: We don't need to get into that. Do we need
- 10:25Speaker 2: to get into that? Because they're cowards?
- 10:30Speaker 3: This guy Dave says, Sacramento State, they really think they're
- 10:33Speaker 3: ready for action?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Please good point. Oh look, I would fully embrace it.
- 10:42Speaker 2: I'm okay.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I'm sure if we were in other college towns and
- 10:46Speaker 3: they said, who's the hated most college baseball team? I
- 10:49Speaker 3: bet LSU comes across the wire more times than not
- 10:52Speaker 3: right and Jay Johnson does everything the right way. The
- 10:55Speaker 3: fans are passionate. They hate you because you win. They
- 10:58Speaker 3: hate you because of the intimidator and right field.
- 11:00Speaker 2: They hate us because they amus. That's what James Franco said. Yes, so.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I say buy into it, go all in. Like, I
- 11:11Speaker 3: don't really care if anybody likes LSU. I really don't like.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I don't want to be the most lovable Like Indiana
- 11:16Speaker 3: might be a lovable college national champion. It's great works
- 11:19Speaker 3: for them, but if LSU has to go to the
- 11:22Speaker 3: dark side to win, games. I said it when all
- 11:25Speaker 3: this was going on.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I want the place that I love more than any
- 11:29Speaker 3: other place to be successful, right, And if you're you know,
- 11:34Speaker 3: if you're playing football games and have the same rules
- 11:37Speaker 3: and same advantages that every team has and you're better
- 11:39Speaker 3: at it than them, that's not selling your soul. That's
- 11:42Speaker 3: just not caring how you have success with your friends,
- 11:44Speaker 3: your close ones, your fans, your coaches, your players.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So I don't care. Be Darth Vader, sure.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I mean, look, if you win a bunch of national championships, yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 4: I agree with you. It doesn't really matter what people think,
- 12:00Speaker 4: you're gonna get hate that that kind of hatred is awesome.
- 12:02Speaker 4: People hate you because you're the best, It's awesome. But
- 12:06Speaker 4: there's also difference between people hating you because you're good
- 12:10Speaker 4: and hating you and kind of like not respecting what
- 12:12Speaker 4: you're doing, whether that was right or like, people have
- 12:16Speaker 4: their opinions. Is what I'm is what I'm saying. And like,
- 12:19Speaker 4: I don't think before you start winning, you got to
- 12:21Speaker 4: go to the dark side, and I think there's a
- 12:22Speaker 4: way to do it. LSU is pretty highly thought of
- 12:25Speaker 4: everywhere coast to coast, right they got. It's an incredible brand.
- 12:28Speaker 4: They got the documentaries kind of, they got everything anywhere
- 12:32Speaker 4: you look. Yeah, LSU awesome, what a great program. Every
- 12:36Speaker 4: single sport wins national championship, blah blah blah awesome. And
- 12:39Speaker 4: then like you don't have like there's a way to
- 12:40Speaker 4: do it. They don't have to go to the dark side. Now,
- 12:44Speaker 4: if you do go there, then embrace it and win.
- 12:47Speaker 4: I don't like, I don't really care as long as
- 12:49Speaker 4: you win. Yeah, But I like, during that whole thing,
- 12:54Speaker 4: I was like the university that I know and love
- 12:55Speaker 4: to do and went to, like I want I want
- 12:57Speaker 4: people to respect that university all over the place because
- 13:01Speaker 4: we win and we do it the right way. I'm
- 13:03Speaker 4: not saying what we did wasn't the right way, of
- 13:04Speaker 4: just saying that was the opinion for people, which led
- 13:07Speaker 4: to the hatred. Not necessarily because you're dominating the sport.
- 13:12Speaker 2: As long as.
- 13:13Speaker 7: Recruits like LSU, that's all I care about. And like,
- 13:16Speaker 7: even after all the Lane Kiffin, you know, Saga and
- 13:20Speaker 7: Governor Landry and all that kif it pulled in forty
- 13:23Speaker 7: two transfer players, multiple five stars in high school, that's
- 13:27Speaker 7: all I care about.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:28Speaker 7: I want those players to pan out and win games.
- 13:30Speaker 7: But I do care if some sports writer or somebody
- 13:33Speaker 7: from another fandase HATCHI win games.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Hell yeah, hell yeah, brother, hell yeah brother. Usc we'll see,
- 13:50Speaker 2: we will see the LSU wins. You think it's bad now,
- 13:55Speaker 2: well it would be hatred. It would be hatred in
- 13:56Speaker 2: a good way. Yeah, it's gonna be the old Joe
- 13:58Speaker 2: Burrow like you just like bring it, but you got it.
- 14:00Speaker 4: But you do have to say, like there's hatred from winning.
- 14:02Speaker 4: There's hatred from like like the correlates.
- 14:04Speaker 3: With hatred from like their own set of rules, like
- 14:08Speaker 3: Notre Dame. Like people hate that, right, So they hate
- 14:12Speaker 3: the Cowboys because they're you know, quote America's team, and
- 14:15Speaker 3: everybody hates that.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So there's different ways.
- 14:18Speaker 3: For sure, everybody hates Alabama they win and they claim
- 14:22Speaker 3: national championships they didn't win, Like there's things obviously that
- 14:26Speaker 3: add to it. But I think if you, if you
- 14:28Speaker 3: are truly, like real hated here in this place this year,
- 14:32Speaker 3: it's because you're winning games.
- 14:33Speaker 4: And I think like all that stuff, the negative pub
- 14:36Speaker 4: that Elise was getting was just like an emotional immediate reaction.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Like I said, like, no one's.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Talking about it really Yeah, it's if you would have
- 14:42Speaker 4: asked that question in early January or late like mid December,
- 14:46Speaker 4: like everybody would have said LSU. But it's that's died down.
- 14:49Speaker 4: So now just go win, go win every game.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Like Jake Taylor said, there's only one thing left to do.
- 14:58Speaker 2: What what's up? And the whole f and thing?
- 15:01Speaker 3: All right, we'll take a break more ot B when
- 15:04Speaker 3: we come back here live from the rais of Kines Studio.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Off the bench.

- 18:20Speaker 7: Two kids, superdads.
- 18:22Speaker 2: He kind of gets around. Yeah, two kids around the
- 18:27Speaker 2: same age.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Don't look alike at all.
- 18:31Speaker 7: Nothing around with that pink dog.
- 18:33Speaker 2: That's around. That pink dog, that pink tight i dog.
- 18:37Speaker 6: The ale I was gone this weekend.
- 18:41Speaker 5: What happened with LG Baseball.
- 18:46Speaker 2: On the weekend? They didn't hit well. On Monday, they
- 18:50Speaker 2: didn't pitch well.
- 18:52Speaker 7: Pretty much sounds pretty much. It was ten nothing in
- 18:56Speaker 7: the third. Yeah, that's when Elandra was like, what's the
- 18:59Speaker 7: score is?
- 18:59Speaker 2: Like ten?
- 18:59Speaker 7: Oh the third she was like what, I'm like, yeah,
- 19:02Speaker 7: not a typo that was And it was eleven to
- 19:06Speaker 7: one after the fifth. I mean, you look at that
- 19:10Speaker 7: thirteen to ten box score and didn't watch the game,
- 19:12Speaker 7: You're like, oh, it was high screwing. No, no, no, no,
- 19:15Speaker 7: that was never her game.
- 19:16Speaker 2: We went on quite a run to get it within three.
- 19:19Speaker 2: It just.
- 19:21Speaker 7: Dominated They pulled all the starters. I mean, the backups
- 19:24Speaker 7: were the ones that went in there and scored all
- 19:25Speaker 7: the runs.
- 19:26Speaker 2: It's true.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and uh, look, you also lost to Nebraska Omaha
- 19:32Speaker 3: last year and a weekend you were fine, You're okay.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I know, I know, I know.
- 19:39Speaker 3: This is more for everybody else and our like our
- 19:44Speaker 3: LSU baseball fans and people listening to the show, they
- 19:46Speaker 3: know that deep down, they know that they know the situation.
- 19:50Speaker 3: They also know who the head baseball coach is. Is
- 19:53Speaker 3: it perfect right now? No, these things to figure out.
- 19:56Speaker 2: For sure.
- 19:57Speaker 3: You hadn't got a conference play yet. Now it's coming
- 19:58Speaker 3: down the road very soon. You're gonna be traveling in
- 20:01Speaker 3: Nashville to take on Vanderbilt.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Very soon.
- 20:03Speaker 3: You're gonna be welcome in Oklahoma to your ballpark. But
- 20:07Speaker 3: like if you go back and you look at it,
- 20:09Speaker 3: you lost to Omaha last year and you're just fine
- 20:13Speaker 3: now in the you know the McNeese game, Like you
- 20:16Speaker 3: lose that game, I know, nobody wants to.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Lose that game.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Every single year when you lose one to one of
- 20:21Speaker 3: these Louisiana teams, nobody likes it. Nobody's ever going to
- 20:24Speaker 3: be a fan of those but still you have to
- 20:27Speaker 3: remember you got run rolled by Northwestern State last year. Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 3: and that was in April, the end of April. If
- 20:33Speaker 3: I'm not mistaken, you lost that game, thirteen to three,
- 20:36Speaker 3: seven inning game. Yeah, Northwestern State Mercy ruled you. Yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 3: so the same situation has happened. You've lost a n
- 20:44Speaker 3: State game. You got beat pretty good obviously, Mercy rolling
- 20:48Speaker 3: seven inns by Northwestern State, who wasn't a great team.
- 20:52Speaker 7: That was crazy.
- 20:53Speaker 3: You start playing games, when you start playing games that
- 20:57Speaker 3: are in the Southeastern Conference, that's when you know.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Then you look these games, they all matter.
- 21:02Speaker 3: And I love approach because you got there's you're playing
- 21:05Speaker 3: a game, you got a uniform one, and you're working
- 21:07Speaker 3: on things. Now, you might not go about it like
- 21:09Speaker 3: you would a weekend game. Guys that pitch on those
- 21:11Speaker 3: games aren't necessarily coming in in these games, a lineup's
- 21:15Speaker 3: the same, so they mattered. I'm just saying, if you
- 21:18Speaker 3: want to look at history, you've lost these games and
- 21:21Speaker 3: won national championship.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 8: I genuinely this might be because I didn't watch any
- 21:26Speaker 8: of the pitching this past weekend for the for the
- 21:29Speaker 8: other teams, I watched.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Friday, but.
- 21:35Speaker 8: I because last season this happened and then Little Rock Arkansas,
- 21:39Speaker 8: Remember they came in, they gave us a fight.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I genuinely think that every game I went to they lost.
- 21:45Speaker 8: Yeah, this might be stupid, but I genuinely think that
- 21:48Speaker 8: LSU baseball a team that's like this elite or like
- 21:54Speaker 8: an elite team. I genuinely think that they struggle against
- 21:58Speaker 8: inferior pitching because they're not used to seeing stuff like
- 22:01Speaker 8: that for sure, So I think that they just kind
- 22:04Speaker 8: of struggle with it a little bit. But I think
- 22:06Speaker 8: that LSU is obviously going to be fine. They go
- 22:09Speaker 8: a low cold sometimes they happened last season and they
- 22:13Speaker 8: bring it up in the chat. They did get swept
- 22:14Speaker 8: by Auburn. We lost the Texas series early in the season.
- 22:19Speaker 5: Yep, But we should be fine. I mean, even though
- 22:23Speaker 5: in twenty four.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I'm run burking.
- 22:28Speaker 8: Yeah, twenty four whenever we went to the Chapel Hill Regional,
- 22:32Speaker 8: like that started off real bad. That season started off
- 22:36Speaker 8: not great.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Twenty twenty three National championship team.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You lost the eye Nickles, Iowa, like twelve to three,
- 22:44Speaker 3: twelve four early in the season.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, you lost.
- 22:50Speaker 5: An in state game who started on Monday, it was
- 22:53Speaker 5: Cooper Williams.
- 22:54Speaker 7: He went he was great, first inning, out of there,
- 22:57Speaker 7: no problem. Then there are a couple of errors by
- 23:00Speaker 7: John Pearson at first, who actually got the start. They
- 23:03Speaker 7: moved York to DH. That didn't work great, They went
- 23:06Speaker 7: up replacing him. I wonder why, right, just a day off, Yeah,
- 23:12Speaker 7: just to mix it up, which styed in the lineup.
- 23:14Speaker 7: He just didn't play first.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Twenty twenty three, lost to UL and Nicholas by the way.
- 23:18Speaker 7: Yeah, speaking of speaking of Ull, tonight's a get right
- 23:20Speaker 7: game for.
- 23:21Speaker 6: The guys, like Uls nine of their last ten.
- 23:25Speaker 7: Yeah, they're they're nine and three. They're nine and three.
- 23:28Speaker 7: And I saw somebody in the chat bring this up earlier,
- 23:30Speaker 7: so I want to dig a little bit deeper. They're like, oh,
- 23:32Speaker 7: they're only giving up two eleven batting averages two opponents,
- 23:36Speaker 7: which is really good. They've given up fourteen home runs
- 23:38Speaker 7: in twelve games. LSU's like, if anybody can hit it
- 23:42Speaker 7: out of the park, that's LSU. I think that's something
- 23:45Speaker 7: you can look at right there. And as a team
- 23:47Speaker 7: three eighty nine three point eight ninety r A, so
- 23:49Speaker 7: I mean about average there. And then the Cajuns are
- 23:52Speaker 7: hitting two fifty four, which again about about average at
- 23:56Speaker 7: this point in the season. So this could be a
- 23:58Speaker 7: get right game for LSU because like it's a good opponent,
- 24:00Speaker 7: Like to her point, a lot of times, you know, LS,
- 24:02Speaker 7: she's not used to seeing stuff like that. They're kind
- 24:04Speaker 7: of playing down to the competition like a good opponent,
- 24:08Speaker 7: but not overwhelming stuff across the board where Uls you
- 24:11Speaker 7: could could could come in there and slip up. I
- 24:13Speaker 7: think LSU gets right tonight.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I mean, any team could get hot against you, right,
- 24:17Speaker 4: Like we talked about all these games, and you can
- 24:19Speaker 4: go and you can go cold.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I get it.
- 24:21Speaker 4: But I think the big if you want to like
- 24:24Speaker 4: point out a concern, certainly the lineup that's supposed to
- 24:27Speaker 4: be good. They've played four games this weekend. They won
- 24:30Speaker 4: three because of good pitching, but I think they batted
- 24:32Speaker 4: like one fifty as a team. Yeah, and we like
- 24:36Speaker 4: the runs that they did score was from all the backup,
- 24:39Speaker 4: like the people that aren't in the starting lineup.
- 24:41Speaker 5: So you can't have your leadoff hit or go three
- 24:43Speaker 5: for eighteen over the weekend.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, we talked about that, and also not giving
- 24:47Speaker 3: themselves a chance a ton of strikeouts.
- 24:48Speaker 7: Yeah, well, and the guys that got you. We were
- 24:51Speaker 7: just talking about the guys that got you back in
- 24:52Speaker 7: the game against h on Monday night against the Northeastern,
- 24:56Speaker 7: Like Daniel Harden came into the game two for three
- 24:58Speaker 7: and a two run homer. It was guys like that
- 25:01Speaker 7: that came in. Ruckert he went two for two, like
- 25:05Speaker 7: it was. It was the guys you didn't expect. I'm
- 25:07Speaker 7: not concerned with like the team as a whole. I'm
- 25:09Speaker 7: more concerned with some of the guys you thought you
- 25:12Speaker 7: were gonna count on, and now you're just kind of
- 25:14Speaker 7: like like after after the first weekend, y'all were out
- 25:18Speaker 7: mean Ladra set up here and we were like, yes,
- 25:20Speaker 7: that count didn't perform well, but you trusted. You saw
- 25:23Speaker 7: it a lot last year. Now it's kind of a
- 25:25Speaker 7: coming a little bit of a trend. Like you remember
- 25:27Speaker 7: back half of last year, like really good against Arkansas
- 25:30Speaker 7: in the in the World Series, but outside of that,
- 25:33Speaker 7: you struggled at the back end. It's it's it's four
- 25:36Speaker 7: or five outings in a row now that you're like,
- 25:38Speaker 7: hang on a second, and you wanted to put him
- 25:39Speaker 7: in midweek to kind of work through it. He's not
- 25:42Speaker 7: even working through it. In midweek right now, like individual
- 25:44Speaker 7: players are maybe a bigger concern for me than team
- 25:47Speaker 7: as a whole.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Then you look at the starting the roster, like the lineup,
- 25:52Speaker 4: it's it's five games in a row now right that
- 25:54Speaker 4: it's the bats have been pretty dormant, so they.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Got to get it.
- 25:58Speaker 4: I don't think it's a matter of like if it's
- 26:00Speaker 4: just kind of like when they're going to get it going.
- 26:03Speaker 4: It's just kind of unlucky that all of them have
- 26:06Speaker 4: kind of gone cold at the same time. So that's
- 26:08Speaker 4: that's what happened luckily this past week, and we had
- 26:11Speaker 4: three really good pitching earnings for Standfield, the guy you're
- 26:15Speaker 4: missing too. Yeah, like he means a lot to the
- 26:18Speaker 4: lineup no matter where he's at because he kind of
- 26:20Speaker 4: awesome would be the backup and talks about that.
- 26:24Speaker 2: He talked about that last week on this show.
- 26:25Speaker 4: He kind of waxed poetically about Sandfield and need to
- 26:28Speaker 4: get him back and what he kind of means to
- 26:30Speaker 4: this team, this lineup when he when he isn't there.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Do you think Joey Johnson like got a like a
- 26:35Speaker 4: team issue, like a futon in the batting cages. This
- 26:39Speaker 4: last couple of days he's living there, probably was already there,
- 26:41Speaker 4: probably in Murphy bed situation.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Murphy be so we can put it up.
- 26:45Speaker 7: We talked about it on Monday, his postgame press conference
- 26:49Speaker 7: on the radio after Friday's game, he said, somebody else
- 26:52Speaker 7: is gonna have to run this program because I'm going
- 26:54Speaker 7: to live with this team in the battle. So, I mean,
- 26:57Speaker 7: Jay's going to get it right.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it's it's not a matter of like if,
- 27:00Speaker 4: it's just when when that's going to turn around, and
- 27:03Speaker 4: hopefully it don't drop too many that you shouldn't on
- 27:05Speaker 4: the way.
- 27:05Speaker 3: I'm going to be that guy. I'm gonna ask this question,
- 27:07Speaker 3: William Schmidt. You feel great about Cooper Morey, feel really
- 27:10Speaker 3: good about it right now? Cason Evans five point twenty
- 27:12Speaker 3: seven e r A have a feeling about that.
- 27:14Speaker 5: I still feel good about Cason.
- 27:17Speaker 7: He's he's extending more.
- 27:22Speaker 5: Four So do you have ten strikeouts on?
- 27:24Speaker 3: Yes, So that sounds really good. The batting average again
- 27:28Speaker 3: against two of four. I mean, so it's not like
- 27:31Speaker 3: they're squiring him up right now. It's been the walks. Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 3: seven walks so far in thirteen innings. Like that's where
- 27:37Speaker 3: he's gotten in trouble. So when they have gotten a hit,
- 27:39Speaker 3: there's been guys on base because of the free passes.
- 27:42Speaker 8: I know people will say it doesn't matter, like your
- 27:43Speaker 8: ace doesn't have to be the Friday guy. But I
- 27:46Speaker 8: just wonder if like Jay is going to make that
- 27:47Speaker 8: move because I think that, like you gotta win, you
- 27:54Speaker 8: don't have to, but winning Game one gives you a
- 27:57Speaker 8: lot of leverage into the rest of the weekend. But
- 28:00Speaker 8: I just wonder if he'll make the because Cooper Moore is.
- 28:03Speaker 7: He's been giving you ace energy.
- 28:05Speaker 2: It's been so good.
- 28:08Speaker 5: But it is only still one walk. M hm, it's
- 28:13Speaker 5: still only one walk.
- 28:14Speaker 7: I think, so I don't think he walked any over
- 28:15Speaker 7: the weekend.
- 28:17Speaker 5: He has two too, he's a one that's still insane.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's like for William Schmidt, like he only
- 28:23Speaker 3: has four on the year and sixteen innings pitch and
- 28:26Speaker 3: that's what got him in trouble last year. So he's
- 28:28Speaker 3: got four and sixteen and third nineteen and the third.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Cooper More's got two and then thirteen and two thirds.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Uh seven.
- 28:36Speaker 8: Yeah, Well, it felt like Cason on Friday had to
- 28:38Speaker 8: kind of settle in, Like the first few.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Innings were kind of like you're walking them.
- 28:43Speaker 8: You were, but then once he got deeper into the
- 28:46Speaker 8: deeper into the game, he found his rhythm a little bit.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Gavin Gidrey hasn't given up a run pitch.
- 28:56Speaker 5: I don't think a walk either.
- 28:57Speaker 2: It does not, Yeah, pitch nine innings.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Only giving up three hits and sixteen strikeouts in nine innings, ridiculous.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Pretty good mowing them down, They say, where I'm from,
- 29:08Speaker 2: that dog hunt hunts.
- 29:14Speaker 3: When we come back, we'll practice practice practice during the break.
- 29:20Speaker 2: You're much better than his. That was pretty good.
- 29:23Speaker 4: How could you make that without having like really project
- 29:26Speaker 4: out to like I don't know if I could make
- 29:27Speaker 4: us like a quiet how noise.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I don't know if I can make a loud one,
- 29:31Speaker 2: but certainly can do a quiet one. We're gonna see,
- 29:36Speaker 2: Oh we're gonna we're gonna learn today when we come back.
- 29:39Speaker 2: A little howling for Matthew Flynn on otb off the bench.

- 32:30Speaker 2: Are you ready with the tone? You're ready? I don't
- 32:33Speaker 2: know if I'm ready. I'm trying to all right, I think, Taylor,
- 32:38Speaker 2: I feel like you would have a good howl. Are
- 32:40Speaker 2: you ready for your howl?
- 32:42Speaker 7: You know I can give it a shut?
- 32:43Speaker 5: Why not?
- 32:44Speaker 2: All right?
- 32:44Speaker 3: Here we go, okay, all right?
- 32:49Speaker 5: That was more like you say.
- 32:51Speaker 3: That was more like you're about to go into battle
- 32:54Speaker 3: and you're like, yeah, you know, which is good, Which
- 32:58Speaker 3: is good?
- 32:58Speaker 2: But they have more like a oh Man Taylor is
- 33:00Speaker 2: about to sprint at his enemy right.
- 33:02Speaker 7: Now, boys with the sp spear, Yeah, spear and cry
- 33:09Speaker 7: just just just as me a spear and alloying cloth.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Guys, you're charging the most like the more professional army
- 33:19Speaker 4: on the other side, and you got to make the
- 33:22Speaker 4: noises to try to intimidate a little bit.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Odds are you're going to lose that battle nine times
- 33:26Speaker 2: out of ten?
- 33:29Speaker 5: Are you gonna how or not?
- 33:33Speaker 2: I just don't want to say that again.
- 33:36Speaker 5: Nervous all commit commit.
- 33:41Speaker 2: That was that was better. That was probably the best.
- 33:45Speaker 3: It was better, probably the best sert best of what
- 33:48Speaker 3: you've done.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yes, some are saying the best. I think Laundris is
- 33:52Speaker 2: the best so far in the room.
- 33:53Speaker 5: And I put no effort.
- 33:59Speaker 7: Pretty yeah, similar to mine.
- 34:01Speaker 2: That was similar to I like that. That That was
- 34:04Speaker 2: good committed, so second best in the room right.
- 34:07Speaker 3: Here now, I'm the second best line, first best, there's
- 34:11Speaker 3: third best, your fourth best?
- 34:13Speaker 5: Oh here versus the best listen?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Pretty good?
- 34:28Speaker 1: That was.
- 34:29Speaker 2: It's not real committed, but it's good though. If you
- 34:31Speaker 2: can whisper that was.
- 34:33Speaker 7: That was a subductive right there. Guys, Matt, you don't
- 34:38Speaker 7: have that one in yet. And that's okay. No, that's fine,
- 34:41Speaker 7: it's okay, Jake, ob you don't mind if I bring
- 34:46Speaker 7: this up? Oh God, speaking of seductive things. Oh god, uh,
- 34:51Speaker 7: Teyler the thing I sent you earlier, did you pull
- 34:54Speaker 7: up that website earlier or yesterday, earlier today.
- 34:58Speaker 2: About about the rhino?
- 35:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 35:03Speaker 2: So I didn't really know that they do.
- 35:05Speaker 4: There is a there's a website that is propstore auction
- 35:11Speaker 4: dot com or you can go in and there's auctions
- 35:13Speaker 4: for props that were used in movies, famous movies like
- 35:16Speaker 4: I'm looking at the looking at the website here, like
- 35:19Speaker 4: you can auction off for a seat three po's head Wilson,
- 35:25Speaker 4: So you can auction. I'm sure these things go for
- 35:27Speaker 4: a pretty penny. Well, I was made aware. Actually Marlar
- 35:30Speaker 4: texted me this yesterday. Who don't know where? Uh that
- 35:35Speaker 4: there's a pretty famous prop that is coming up for
- 35:38Speaker 4: auction here in March. Well, the rhino from ace Ventura two.
- 35:42Speaker 4: It's hot in these rhinos. That's the one that stood
- 35:45Speaker 4: out to meet absolutely, and so that is up for
- 35:48Speaker 4: sale right now. It's gonna be up for auction and
- 35:51Speaker 4: predicted price. It's estimated it's gonna start a two thousand dollars. Now,
- 35:56Speaker 4: this is a full blown you can get it. There's
- 35:58Speaker 4: a seat, like you can scroll down to these picures,
- 36:00Speaker 4: like so this is clearly where Jim Carrey, you know,
- 36:05Speaker 4: before the clone. Yeah, Jim Carrey came about a couple
- 36:09Speaker 4: of days ago, climbed out of the the rear of
- 36:13Speaker 4: this said rhino, and of course a very hilarious movie,
- 36:16Speaker 4: a very hilarious scene famously said kind of hunting these rhinos.
- 36:21Speaker 2: That is up for auction.
- 36:22Speaker 4: So I'm just wondering, can, like, do we want to
- 36:24Speaker 4: try to pull together and win this thing and put
- 36:27Speaker 4: it on set, maybe do a show Live from the Rhino.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Go to you Live from the Rhino. It's probably pretty large.
- 36:38Speaker 4: So if you look, go to click some of the
- 36:40Speaker 4: go down and tay like click some of the pictures
- 36:42Speaker 4: from the inside. It's just like itches all the nostalgia
- 36:46Speaker 4: of this thing, go to like the control panel, go
- 36:49Speaker 4: to the left. Yep, still looks the same as it
- 36:54Speaker 4: did in the movies. Got everything fantastic.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Warm. Oh anyway, that was uh, it really made me laugh.
- 37:09Speaker 7: And so when did when does that auction final? Like
- 37:13Speaker 7: we got to come back and see how much it's
- 37:15Speaker 7: so like I clicked the button that said like bidden
- 37:17Speaker 7: now because I had to. Figured it would take me
- 37:18Speaker 7: to like a like the website, like you have to.
- 37:20Speaker 7: Of course you got to sign up and all that stuff.
- 37:22Speaker 7: So I didn't do all that, but it is.
- 37:26Speaker 4: It just says in March somewhere, oh, March twenty fifth,
- 37:31Speaker 4: because at nine thirty am specific all right, specific time.
- 37:38Speaker 2: So what do you think?
- 37:38Speaker 4: So it says estimate that's gonna get between four and
- 37:41Speaker 4: eight thousand dollars now the pub that this thing is
- 37:43Speaker 4: getting because it's all.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Over the place for much time I'm named four to
- 37:46Speaker 2: eight million.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody, some very rich person is going to want
- 37:51Speaker 3: to have this because it's been talked about. So maybe
- 37:54Speaker 3: we can says, say it goes for thirty seven thousand dollars.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Maybe started like a little go fundme paid for the
- 38:03Speaker 4: for all of our the listeners in Louisianna. We can
- 38:06Speaker 4: pull some money together so we could have it on set.
- 38:08Speaker 3: No, there's probably a really cool prop that I actually
- 38:10Speaker 3: really want to spend some money on on this website.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Now, this is awesome. This is great.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Right if it was a two seater, we could do
- 38:17Speaker 3: a show from here. Then, yes, it's a one seater
- 38:20Speaker 3: and you're not sitting on my lap.
- 38:21Speaker 4: So no, I wonder if I wonder if it still operates,
- 38:26Speaker 4: because I think it kind of walked a little bit. Yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 4: but it was operational, that would be good.
- 38:32Speaker 3: There was an exit too that they didn't show the
- 38:35Speaker 3: photos so well the latch got stuck. Yeah, so I
- 38:39Speaker 3: had to get that, probably did, You're right, probably with
- 38:42Speaker 3: some debut forty on there. Anyway, I'm wanna know who
- 38:48Speaker 3: randomly finds themselves on that website.
- 38:50Speaker 2: How how one gets ledg.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Yeah, No, I'm going to be going to this website
- 38:53Speaker 4: now because like there's probably some stuff like Wilson like
- 38:56Speaker 4: that would be pretty.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Cool to have. Yeah. Uh.
- 39:00Speaker 3: Someone asked why we were howling because the wolf packs
- 39:03Speaker 3: back for the first time in.
- 39:04Speaker 2: A long time.
- 39:05Speaker 7: We're about oh at least for a few days.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Like what wouldn't you how so it did make another
- 39:10Speaker 4: comment in the chat that's pretty pretty fair. This like
- 39:12Speaker 4: howling sounds like a fall activity because of the cold. Yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 4: like where wolf's probably like closer to Halloween a little bit.
- 39:19Speaker 4: Like wolves don't die in the spring, now they don't.
- 39:22Speaker 4: It's still how I think.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that pack of coyotes in the back of my yard,
- 39:28Speaker 2: they howl a lot that.
- 39:31Speaker 5: You don't have a good house.
- 39:32Speaker 2: They more scream blood curling. Just y'all know what the
- 39:38Speaker 2: scream sounds like. I don't.
- 39:41Speaker 7: You can scream that.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Sometimes they just like come out and bark. It's come
- 39:44Speaker 2: out and bark at my dog, like jerks. Your dog's
- 39:53Speaker 2: pretty big.
- 39:54Speaker 9: It's big. It's a very large dog. And uh but
- 39:58Speaker 9: they have like there's like a pack of eight of them. Yeah,
- 40:01Speaker 9: it travels, that's how it works. Yeah, I've been trying
- 40:05Speaker 9: to get them too.
- 40:07Speaker 2: I haven't been trying. You gotta done. I hadn't dedicated
- 40:10Speaker 2: a lot of time to it. Get Jail's twenty two bowl,
- 40:12Speaker 2: get rhythm things morning. It would be a perfect time
- 40:15Speaker 2: to do it. Uh So now now it's our fault.

- 44:39Speaker 2: about winning as the bench.
- 44:46Speaker 3: The other day, my son asked me what it was
- 44:48Speaker 3: like growing up in the nineteen hundreds. I feel like
- 44:51Speaker 3: that was super disrespectful.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Should I ground him?
