- 1:34Speaker 2: The popcorn moments, Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's kill.
- 1:39Speaker 2: It's the story you need to here to believe.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Then grab your poppity corn because there is more. I
- 1:46Speaker 1: will tell you that I went up to Chicago last
- 1:48Speaker 1: last week, caught a White Sox game with my kid,
- 1:53Speaker 1: almost cut off my finger. It's fine, it's getting better
- 1:57Speaker 1: every day. Well I should say I didn't almost cut off.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I could have almost cut it off.
- 2:01Speaker 2: It was bad. It could have been horrific.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And then of course, on the way back, stopped at
- 2:06Speaker 1: Garrett and took out a second mortgage and bought the
- 2:09Speaker 1: popcorn and brought it home. And everybody has been joyful
- 2:12Speaker 1: since the Chicago mix.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Only way to do it just wanted to. Speaking of popcorn,
- 2:18Speaker 2: it reminded me.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It was a two fur from everybody's freakiest Democrat, James
- 2:24Speaker 1: tall Rico, who I.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Did not realize. I thought this was a joke. Do
- 2:28Speaker 2: they actually call him James Tellafrico. That's the thing, now, huh,
- 2:32Speaker 2: that's precious.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a one two punch here from
- 2:37Speaker 1: the Democrat running for Senate in Texas, because this one
- 2:40Speaker 1: or two punch tells a magnificent story of disconnect in
- 2:45Speaker 1: my view, and the disconnect comes from what I see.
- 2:50Speaker 1: What they're trying to do, what the left is trying
- 2:53Speaker 1: to do is say, look, look how terrible this is.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Like it's a hit, and I don't think the hit
- 3:01Speaker 1: is landing for anybody else. So let's start with a
- 3:07Speaker 1: conversation about the Voting Rights Act.
- 3:11Speaker 2: This is James Sellery Coo right here.
- 3:15Speaker 3: And if we win this seat in Texas, of all places,
- 3:20Speaker 3: I think we can build the political will to restore
- 3:23Speaker 3: the Voting Rights Act, which was signed into law by
- 3:25Speaker 3: Lyndon Johnson. And so it's only it's only appropriate that
- 3:31Speaker 3: winning his seat could be the key in restoring federal
- 3:35Speaker 3: voting rights protections for all Americans banning gerry manderin in
- 3:39Speaker 3: every state, Blue states and red states alikes, that we
- 3:42Speaker 3: can truly have free and fair elections in every community.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The question before us is when did the Voting Rights
- 3:49Speaker 1: Act go away? I'm asking what he's referring to here?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Is he referring to the Supreme Court stating with clarity
- 4:03Speaker 1: that was it? Section two of the Voting Rights Act
- 4:06Speaker 1: needed to be constrained, not eliminated as many wanted, but
- 4:10Speaker 1: constrained because you cannot have all black districts, you cannot
- 4:15Speaker 1: create minority focused districts. That's not what the Voting Rights
- 4:18Speaker 1: Act is about. It's about preventing those things so you
- 4:21Speaker 1: don't have all white districts and limit participation of Black Americans.
- 4:27Speaker 2: What is he talking about about restoring the Voting Rights Act.
- 4:32Speaker 1: That's or is it just the belief that somehow you
- 4:36Speaker 1: can say something, you can engage the lie, and enough
- 4:38Speaker 1: people won't know what you're talking about, they'll just buy in.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Maybe that's what that first one was.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But this this is about a disconnect from reality.
- 4:48Speaker 3: And I think people are really tired of these cultural
- 4:51Speaker 3: war fights that are designed to tear us apart, designed
- 4:54Speaker 3: to get us angry. I mean there are there are
- 4:57Speaker 3: difficult issues trying to figure out as athletes in sports.
- 5:01Speaker 3: That's an issue where we could actually come to a
- 5:03Speaker 3: policy solution.
- 5:05Speaker 1: The policy solution is that boys don't play in girls' sports,
- 5:08Speaker 1: and men's don't play in women's sports. I said men's
- 5:11Speaker 1: like somehow, I'm on letter Kenny, but I can't believe
- 5:18Speaker 1: that the left wants to go down the line engage
- 5:20Speaker 1: the argument of these culture wars like somehow it's a
- 5:24Speaker 1: bad thing. No one knows culture wars better than the left.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Dear lord, they did it with gas stoves. Allow me
- 5:33Speaker 1: to help you. Of course, this is a culture war
- 5:36Speaker 1: and we're gonna win, and you're gonna lose. Left, You're
- 5:39Speaker 1: gonna lose. You deserve to lose. You're okay with abusing children,
- 5:44Speaker 1: You're okay with mutilating children, You're okay with telling girls
- 5:47Speaker 1: to take a back seat to boys. You're gonna lose.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You deserve to lose. Yes, it's a culture war. We're
- 5:56Speaker 1: going to win it. What how does he argue that saying, oh,
- 6:04Speaker 1: these culture wars like somehow, that's going to turn the
- 6:08Speaker 1: independent or the moderate, or the or the Republican or
- 6:11Speaker 1: the conservative or anybody else. Yes, it is a culture war,
- 6:16Speaker 1: one thousands percent. That's the whole point. And yes we're
- 6:27Speaker 1: gonna win. And yes they have to lose. They have
- 6:29Speaker 1: to lose on this subject. They have to lose. Girls
- 6:35Speaker 1: sports are for girls. Boys cannot be girls. And we
- 6:41Speaker 1: as a society should not be pushing for the mutilation
- 6:43Speaker 1: of children because they feel certain way when they're nine
- 6:47Speaker 1: years old.
