- 1:57Hello, happy Monday. It is June the 2nd.
- 2:01We have 37° in Pennsylvania. Last night it was snowing.
- 2:05You are welcome. My goodness.
- 2:08Wow. Yes, you are in the upper
- 2:15echelons of the top states. You got to see a beautiful Roy
- 2:18Borealis the last couple of nights is supposed to go on
- 2:20again tonight. So yes, MJ is very tired because
- 2:23it happens between 11:00 at night and 4:00 in the morning.
- 2:30We're on lots of Kathy. That's what I was wondering, if
- 2:34you guys wanted to do a one hour show or a two hour show.
- 2:38Everybody loves us, we can do a 2 hour show no problem.
- 2:42There is no problem man. I could go in my circle, in my
- 2:45round my trees. I have so much caffeine in.
- 2:47Me. Oh yeah.
- 2:48And we have some great segments. We have a a great segment to
- 2:51play for you coming up later in like the second part of the show
- 2:57as the White House turns. So yeah.
- 3:03Days of our lives. Exactly.
- 3:07Exactly. And we have Terry.
- 3:10Terry, what do we got? What, what new artist?
- 3:13She's this lady. She's always.
- 3:14I know, right? She is like the artist queen.
- 3:18Oh yes, she is. I don't know.
- 3:20I don't have any new artist right now.
- 3:21I'm still looking. I'm still looking.
- 3:24I'm telling you, I'm still holding Diehard's hand.
- 3:26Yeah. I give it six months.
- 3:29I give it six months and she's going to be dye tires.
- 3:33Roadie watch it six months, I give it six months.
- 3:36They're they're my manager. I was going to.
- 3:39Say H You better not hope that because she's your.
- 3:43Girl, I know, I know. Well, you know, you know how
- 3:46things work around here. Don't listen to H She's not
- 3:52available. That's so funny.
- 3:58So what's going in part of your neck of the woods?
- 4:00Damn, Jewel. What is happening in Colorado,
- 4:02man, You people out there? Yeah, it's getting.
- 4:06Rough. You know what I think it's you
- 4:08know, have you seen that TikTok where the guy calls the other
- 4:11guy up and says, hey, man, just want to tell you be weary of
- 4:15aliens or sucking up people that have big ass, you know, you
- 4:19know, pee pees. But don't worry, you ain't got
- 4:22no, you ain't got nothing to worry about, you know, kind of
- 4:25thing. Well, evidently somebody got
- 4:27really upset and yelled out free, free.
- 4:34I wanted to say free president, but that's not it.
- 4:36Free Palestine. OK, Free Palestine.
- 4:40And then he soaked them and torched them.
- 4:43That's. Awful.
- 4:44Yeah. So I I told my friend Damian I'm
- 4:47like, maybe maybe he's just upset with like the measurement
- 4:51of the pee pee, you know, I don't know.
- 4:53He's like. Judge the pee pees.
- 4:55He looked at me. He's like, too soon, too soon.
- 4:58Each too soon. All right.
- 5:01Yeah, is is woof. But that's every, every time you
- 5:06turn around Colorado's in the newspaper.
- 5:08What is happening in the news? Well, you know.
- 5:13When you have. When you have a visitor that
- 5:15blows one way, you know what? What can you say?
- 5:20Well, please be careful. Anybody who is out there in
- 5:23Colorado. It just seems like more people
- 5:26are getting shot and killed. And it is is really not good,
- 5:30Not good. I think we better get our armed
- 5:32forces in there, kind of control the situation a little bit, just
- 5:36a little bit Dad, a little bit. Terry, what's going on in Texas?
- 5:42Well, not that, thankfully. Texas.
- 5:48Texas is normal, they prescribe. You should normal, yes.
- 5:54Everybody. Oh, shoot you dead.
- 5:58Cancel, clear, delete. God, I didn't mean that so
- 6:03Texas, but Texas was in the news because your beautiful senator,
- 6:09Mr. Cruz, has become very popular.
- 6:15So. Man, she's like throwing us
- 6:17under the bus because there are representatives.
- 6:20I didn't vote for him. Well, you're not in Texas, man.
- 6:26I know that, I know that. Hey.
- 6:28Quack, you're nothing. You're not in Texas, my friend.
- 6:34Or is that Toto? Not quack Toto.
- 6:39So no, I, I like Senator Cruz. He's he's making things happen.
- 6:44You know, I believe that all senators, if it's the voice of
- 6:46the people, then I believe that are are people who we employed
- 6:52for those positions by voting. That's our employment that they
- 6:56should do as they are suggested, not as the grand total of
- 7:00everybody else who thinks they should have good thoughts or bad
- 7:03thoughts or their thought programming for self-serving
- 7:07self not serving for others. That's my take on the politics.
- 7:13So you see, Joe, we should have as the White House turns, as
- 7:18Colorado turns, as Texas turns. And then of course, you know,
- 7:24Pencil Tucky has to be in there somewhere and.
- 7:28Let us at the end of the year, our our goal is to get all all
- 7:33all of the 50 states in this one little like turning circle this
- 7:39whole thing. Well, no, because I can't
- 7:43justify anybody else. I have to justify what I know.
- 7:47You have to justify what you know.
- 7:48So if all the DJs you could come on with, with your beautiful
- 7:52hairpiece there and go and, and as the world turns in Alabama,
- 7:55what's going on? And as the world turns to
- 7:57California, what's going on? See how that works, How
- 8:00unifiable we could all be by as it turns.
- 8:04As it turns. As it turns.
- 8:06As it turns. Yes, well, I.
- 8:08Was calling as the White House turns when Biden was in office.
- 8:12So I, I, I, I feel like, I feel like ever since honestly, Obama.
- 8:20And I think the reason why I I felt like that ever since like
- 8:23Obama was because when did Facebook come out?
- 8:25Facebook came out about. The round of the time.
- 8:29As Obama was, Yeah. So of course Obama's going to
- 8:32get bashed on social media compared to Ronald Reagan or
- 8:35anybody else, because there was no such thing.
- 8:38Can you imagine what they would be saying though, if we did have
- 8:41Facebook during the Obama time? Dude, Can you imagine what they
- 8:45were saying to Washington? Or Clinton?
- 8:50Nixon. Yeah.
- 8:54There was George Washington anything like my dad.
- 8:56I I could just say George Washington would walk through
- 8:59the portal. He would see like 3 or 4 couples
- 9:03and then he would just walk the other way.
- 9:05I'm not ready. There's I like, I like.
- 9:07Social media is not very social. Dude, that's a good entrance.
- 9:13No, it is not right. No, it is not.
- 9:18I don't know if we want to take a break before we get into that
- 9:21one, but no, it is not. It is so not.
- 9:24And then when you try to help the poor innocent souls, you get
- 9:28over the crossfires like no tomorrow.
- 9:31So it doesn't even work. But I'm going to say, and I said
- 9:33this pride, I'm going to say it again.
- 9:35There's a big difference between civilians looking at our
- 9:40president and military people looking at their commander in
- 9:54Because it is your commander in chief and you were taught to
- 9:56respect and honor. Now, I understand if your
- 10:00commander in chief is not doing for the highest good or the
- 10:03highest service for others and you want to get out of the
- 10:06military. I understand it.
- 10:08I also understand for those who not want to go in under that
- 10:12command, perfectly fine. But politics and our DoD,
- 10:20they're really two different things.
- 10:21Where it melted together in administrations is beyond me
- 10:25because it was always completely kept apart.
- 10:28It was never enforced by the DoD.
- 10:34So how that happened, I don't know, but I do know that I
- 10:38don't. I never preferred Biden, never
- 10:40really preferred him. However, what I do, Come on,
- 10:43dad, come on, man. He's my come on.
- 10:48I love him. He's my biggest fan.
- 10:50Come on, Daddy. There he is.
- 10:54Damn, Joel. He's better looking than you.
- 11:01That apple fell far, far, far from that tree.
- 11:05What happened to you? Yeah, I can hear.
- 11:13OK. All right.
- 11:13Don't worry about the mic, OK? We have master training today,
- 11:17man. Now that my dad was that, I
- 11:25gotta watch what I say now I don't know what that Saturday
- 11:27like live skipping. I was going to do so great.
- 11:29We'll see. Keep him.
- 11:32Keep him on the right now, Sir, Keep him up there.
- 11:36So you guys, this is my dad, David.
- 11:38David Hunt, this is MJ. Hello.
- 11:42That that's you keep talking about, that you're like her.
- 11:45Big fan, I see. Yes.
- 11:47And then this is Tracer. Hello.
- 11:51Welcome, welcome you. Yes, I love it that we have a
- 11:55controlling force over age train tonight.
- 11:58I love that that is just mixed. It's almost like a socialist
- 12:03environment. It's almost there.
- 12:08Does he have the four pillow on your leg?
- 12:10You know, as I said, so and so. Where are we from?
- 12:17What? Where are we from, Dad?
- 12:19Where? Are you from?
- 12:20Dad Oh Kokomo IN. Beautiful.
- 12:25Have you lived there your whole life?
- 12:27Yes. Well, when I got married, after
- 12:32I retired, me and the wife, we moved to New Mexico for her
- 12:36health. We worked out, we stayed there
- 12:40for 11 years and she got cancer, pancreatic cancer and she died
- 12:47there. And I didn't want to stay there
- 12:50by myself, so I moved back to Kokomo.
- 12:55They got you. Well, you at least got to.
- 13:00What do they say? Live with love and not live
- 13:03without love. So I'm honoring that.
- 13:06Living with love and now. There's no there's no
- 13:12$1,000,000. There's no $1,000,000 answer to
- 13:16being married. If you can be loyal to one
- 13:19another and enjoy each other's company, you got it made.
- 13:23It's that. Simple.
- 13:25Amen. I always say allow them to have
- 13:28free will, allow them to do and allow them to explore because
- 13:33you know that's that's them. If you try to control one or the
- 13:36other, it's not going to work too well.
- 13:38No, you found it. You found it very well.
- 13:41And I'm very proud of you and I'm really happy to see that
- 13:44you're here with Joel this. Are you staying with Joel for a
- 13:46little bit here? I'll go back.
- 13:49I'm I'm going to go back Sunday, back to Kokomo.
- 13:52OK. Look it here's beautiful
- 13:54country. Yeah.
- 13:56Yeah, it is. It is we know we're, we know
- 13:59where Gas City is. Ike was selling.
- 14:01They they, they live. Near.
- 14:02Yeah. Ike.
- 14:03I like Ike. Yeah.
- 14:05Gas City. There you go.
- 14:08So what did you retire from, Sir?
- 14:10General Motors, you don't have to.
- 14:13Yell there. OK, I had graduated from high
- 14:17school in 1966. Nice.
- 14:22And I worked at for a while. I got on a General Motors, but
- 14:30I've got my draft notice right after high school.
- 14:33I got it yeah, I got it in October.
- 14:36I graduated in June. I got my draft papers in October
- 14:41and I went into the 1st December the 66.
- 14:45What did you do while you were in?
- 14:47I was drafted, I was a field cook for three months and I was
- 14:55a cook the rest of time in Nam. That's what I did.
- 14:59So, you know, tell me about that, because I I, you know, I
- 15:02get that you were cooked, but man, those when you start
- 15:05looking at like Mash and you look at these these pictures, I
- 15:07know Mash wasn't it was whatever.
- 15:11But you, you give the idea of how just the sound of fireworks,
- 15:18the sounds of guns, the sounds. I mean, I can't even imagine
- 15:22trying to peacefully cook and having that around me.
- 15:27How did you keep focus? To be very honest with you, I
- 15:35was 18. I think I had three months on 18
- 15:39in Vietnam. The thing that saved me more
- 15:43than anything in the world is I turned it to hate.
- 15:47The hate ate me up and it the hate kept me going.
- 15:52Some people, some people there that they were really Christians
- 15:57and I went to church, but I can't sit here and honestly tell
- 16:03you that my face did it really. It was my hate.
- 16:08They told me to turn it in, to turn my way of thinking.
- 16:14So it kind of turned my life upside down.
- 16:18You just help me. So I am so happy you took your
- 16:22part. But you do know some of the best
- 16:25warriors that they have out there are government practices
- 16:28in frequency bounding to make them with pride, anger and
- 16:32courage. So the anger comes from an
- 16:36actual deep seatedness by man. I don't know if you know that.
- 16:40So those are the three vibrations that every military
- 16:44person goes into from the sound of the bugle to the horns to the
- 16:47voices. It is those frequency patterns
- 16:49to give them the 18 to 25 year olds.
- 16:52Why they're drafted is because they are predominantly within
- 16:55the frequency to be courage, pride and anger.
- 16:58So I can, I am so honored that you actually said that because
- 17:03it's a truth. It's a truth that's within the
- 17:05system in order to create beautiful, courageous soldiers,
- 17:10the warriors. So I honor you for that.
- 17:16I was in the field for three months.
- 17:18OK, yeah, we had cooked. We used the M79 fuel, fuel range
- 17:28ovens and then we had the heaters, three of the four of
- 17:32them. The meat came from a freezer
- 17:36case full of hot ice. The meat was kept cool.
- 17:41And the vegetables, everything was kept cool from the hot ice.
- 17:45And we served powdered vegetables, powdered eggs.
- 17:52Everything was powdered. Yeah.
- 17:55And we cooked for the big red one, the first air calf, the
- 18:0225th Division and all these guys that were coming in from the
- 18:07Bush, they were all hard, hard nosed.
- 18:11And the only difference is that the South Vietnamese, Arvin that
- 18:16were with them, they continually had a smile on their face.
- 18:22You know, it's, it's just the way it was.
- 18:25But they look at you and smile all the time.
- 18:28They enjoy, I think they enjoyed being in the Bush and coming out
- 18:34while the GIS, the infantry, they came in, they were all hard
- 18:39faced. Biggest part of them are hard
- 18:41faced. That's the only difference I've
- 18:42seen now. Now I don't know.
- 18:48I got to smiling with them. But like I said, after the after
- 18:55the 292nd field hospital and they told us to go out there and
- 18:59do the field cooking for three months.
- 19:03They just told me turn it to hate and it works.
- 19:06I mean, it worked for me. Like I said, I was 18 months, I
- 19:11think 18, three, you know? Well, you know, I, I say that
- 19:17we, we, we process this because that those are some deep
- 19:21emotional feelings and stuff. So we process this, we go on
- 19:25break and then when we come back, we, we can, you know, we
- 19:28can finish it. But then, you know, we, we want
- 19:32to do our funny segment so that, you know, we don't want to, we
- 19:36don't want to. What's the word I'm looking for?
- 19:41Well, he's healing, so I'm enjoying it because it is a
- 19:44healing modality for us to speak as veterans, to be able to
- 19:48freely speak of it helps others to realize that there is trauma
- 19:54all within ourselves. And this beautiful, beautiful
- 19:58gentleman who had to go through a drafting though he didn't want
- 20:03to, almost like a prisoner. I'm honoring.
- 20:05I'm honoring his words. I'm honoring that he could smile
- 20:08at the end. And I'm honoring that he's
- 20:10telling his story. And so we're going to go to
- 20:13break and I'm just very thankful.
- 20:15Thank you. Thank you so much.
- 20:16Because I don't think sometimes people who listen who are not in
- 20:20the military, they don't understand.
- 20:22They don't understand those 3 words, courage, pride and anger.
- 20:25And that anger side gets those people through.
- 20:29And I see that. And that's henses of PTSD seeing
- 20:32red. It's that anger.
- 20:34So I'm going to honor, I'm I'm just going to be so thankful and
- 20:39I'm going to honor and we will go to break and we can go ahead.
- 20:42Terry, I think has a line up for us.
- 20:43What are we listening to, Terry? I once was Logan.
- 20:47There we go. There you go.
- 20:49This is for you, Sir. The station where our veterans
- 25:39voices are heard MBR talk. Hey, thanks.
- 25:44For tuning. In welcome are those of the
- 25:47speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views or.
- 25:52Positions of any entities they represent.
- 25:55The web at NB radio dot. Hey, welcome back.
- 26:00Welcome back. What you say there?
- 26:03Age train, I said. Welcome back.
- 26:09That was almost like a welcome back.
- 26:12Like a welcome quack, but I remember that you have PTSD with
- 26:15the DM ducks. Like I said, welcome back.
- 26:21And look at my sister, she loves it.
- 26:24She did. I go, Oh my God, don't tell him
- 26:27that. She.
- 26:31Loves it. Well, you know, I just, I'm not
- 26:35going to go back into the subject, but I want to honor,
- 26:37I'm honoring today because military broadcast radio, this
- 26:42is what this is about. This is allowing voices, it's
- 26:44allowing the rehabilitation. And the only way you can
- 26:47rehabilitate is you can talk. You must talk.
- 26:50I didn't mean to sound like I was cutting you off, that I it
- 26:52just, you know it as a son, it's.
- 26:56Hard. It's hard because I, I, I, I, I
- 26:59see, I see, I, I see the pain that he has the same as the pain
- 27:05that I have. In fact, you know, I told him
- 27:07now that, you know, I've kind of put two and two together, you
- 27:11know, that like, I understand now where he's going through
- 27:16because right now the Iraq veterans are going through the
- 27:20same thing the Vietnam Veterans went through, you know, and you
- 27:26know, I, I feel for you guys. I feel for you guys, you know I,
- 27:29I really do. Yes shout out to bliss.
- 27:33Hello sweetheart welcome to our our suave here so it is thank
- 27:40you Joel. Thank you for allowing military
- 27:44broadcast radio to do exactly that.
- 27:47Just thank you and what an ancestral heritage, what an
- 27:51ancestral line. Maybe somebody might want to say
- 27:55enough's enough though we did our due or maybe it's it is that
- 27:59way in that family ancestry and that is also good.
- 28:03However, it is know that whether that old cliche that apple did
- 28:07not fall far from that tree and that is a beautiful and thank
- 28:10you both of you for having. Damn luck.
- 28:18It's funny, he said that 1966 I go, oh, I was just right there
- 28:21by my birthday, I was, I was just swimming away.
- 28:28So, all right, so here we go. Terry, what's in your news
- 28:31today? Well, you know, I don't really
- 28:34have a particular topic, but I did see something on TikTok that
- 28:37I thought was very interesting and it was about a man and a
- 28:40wife. And they were talking and she
- 28:42said, what do you think when I say this?
- 28:44So one of the things she said was, go ahead, there's been a
- 28:48lot of rain. That grass sure is high.
- 28:50And she says, what do you think to the husband?
- 28:52What do you think when I say that?
- 28:53And he said, I think that you want me to go out there and mow
- 28:56the grass is what I think. And so then she went, she went
- 29:01through some other scenarios and she said, well, what do you
- 29:04think when I say this? And he goes that you want me to,
- 29:07you know, go pick up the house or you, you know, whatever the
- 29:09the case was, it was something he was supposed to do anything.
- 29:13She said it was like a duty she was he was supposed to perform.
- 29:16So what I, I really, what I really wanted to talk about was,
- 29:21you know, communication is so important and how we say things
- 29:24and how we qualify or quantify what we say is also important.
- 29:29So if she just wanted to say, man, it's been raining a lot and
- 29:32didn't really have any need for him to go out and mow the grass
- 29:35because it's gotten high. She just was like commenting on
- 29:38the weather, Say I'm just coming on the weather.
- 29:40I don't need you to do anything. I'm just saying it's raining a
- 29:43lot. The grass is really growing.
- 29:45And so she really needs to just quantify, go ahead and say, I'm,
- 29:48I'm not expecting you to do anything.
- 29:50I'm just making conversation. And so that's why I think it's
- 29:53so important that when we say something, we think about how
- 29:57that other person might be receiving it because they're
- 29:59taking it as a task. They're being tasked to do
- 30:02something and not just having a conversation with somebody.
- 30:06And so that's really what I wanted to bring up because if I
- 30:08would have brought up the clip, you would have seen the whole
- 30:10thing where he, she gave him 10 questions and every one of them,
- 30:14it resulted in him doing something.
- 30:17Very interesting. Is that a conditioned pattern by
- 30:20man? I don't know.
- 30:22I'd tell you what, when my wife walks into the room and says,
- 30:26honey, I was thinking, or, you know what would really look
- 30:32good? You know what we should do right
- 30:34now? It's a task, right?
- 30:37What she says is a task. These beautiful women have
- 30:41truly, now think about it. Now this is going to be a wow
- 30:44moment. So for that to play precedence,
- 30:49it is the same theory. I could sit in a chair and of
- 30:52course, I'm of the age. So I'm like, Oh my God, Oh my
- 30:54God, it's high here. Oh my God, it's hot.
- 30:56So my husband gets up, he turns down the AC, he'll put the fans
- 31:00on. And I'm like, then why'd you do
- 31:03that? He goes, well, you're hot.
- 31:05And I go, Oh my God, that's so loving.
- 31:07He goes. No, he goes.
- 31:08I figured you're going to ask me anyway.
- 31:11Hey, I'm telling you what. And listen to your kids,
- 31:16especially the younger kids. OK, when you go in the ground,
- 31:20get ready to go into the house and you hear loud music playing
- 31:24and you smell candles burning, run the other direction.
- 31:27Run the other direction. I'm telling you right now, come
- 31:30back in about two hours. What a.
- 31:33Condition. You're getting ready to go into
- 31:35World War zone, my friend. Get on your battle rattles.
- 31:40Women have conditioned men in a pattern so much that it's
- 31:45simple. And it's like they these words
- 31:48and now their mind just stinks and it's like, but I didn't ask
- 31:51you to do that. I go.
- 31:53I could have got up if I was I go, but I just figured in 2
- 31:55minutes it'd be over. Why should I exert more energy
- 31:57and got my hotter and he goes, well, I was trying to be nice.
- 32:01So I go, OK, well you're flipping it.
- 32:04I like that and I go and that is why I love you.
- 32:07And so it's different. But tell me and I'll bet you're
- 32:10down. Say the same thing.
- 32:12He was trained to do things certain ways.
- 32:16And so were you, Right? Because the men ran the house,
- 32:21the women just told him what pants to put on.
- 32:23I'm convinced, I'm confessed. I'm convinced.
- 32:31And I tell my husband that every day.
- 32:33I'm like, baby, you are the master of your domain.
- 32:36You run this household. I go, by the way, there's your
- 32:39car hearts that you wanted to put on today because why was it
- 32:42going to wear car hearts? I go, oh, because I'll wear
- 32:45them. Oh my God, So I, I love how you
- 32:53balance. And that's what it's about
- 32:55balancing. Really.
- 32:56It is about balancing and it's, it's, it's about mutual
- 32:59admiration. And it is.
- 33:02And you have to laugh. You must laugh.
- 33:05That anger piece has to now go away because we're not in
- 33:07battle. And now we are just a balancing
- 33:10fool who just loves to have fun and laugh.
- 33:14And that candlelight and music, Joel, that is because she wanted
- 33:18to woo you, baby. No, that was because he was
- 33:23trying to chase away the farts. I know what that was.
- 33:28Cassie, I kick his ass when he gets See, my husband knows if I
- 33:36play loud music, he's ready to party.
- 33:38He'll come with a beer. He'll Here we go.
- 33:39I'm like, all right, now we're partying.
- 33:42See, everybody has their own condition mechanisms.
- 33:45This is great. I love that.
- 33:47Carrie. That was fun.
- 33:48I love that. I loved it.
- 33:49Loved it. All right, two player segment.
- 33:53There it goes. Let's do it, baby.
- 33:55All right, hold on a second. Let me find that intro here.
- 33:58It's all about the intro. It's all about the intro always.
- 34:15All right, ladies and gentlemen. Hey, buckle up people.
- 34:20Grab your popcorn. Grab your pop.
- 34:24Hold on. I.
- 34:27Got that? I'm reading the script.
- 34:28All right, so grab your pop secret popcorn.
- 34:30Because apparently we're not just popping popcorn in America,
- 34:34we're popping national secrets like it's the 4th of July
- 34:37fireworks show run by toddlers with clearance badges.
- 34:41So here's the drama this week as the White House turns our very
- 34:45own National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz decided to make
- 34:48history by achieving the world's first classified group chat.
- 34:53Fail. Dude, I got TBI.
- 34:55What's your excuse? Yes, my man accidentally added a
- 34:58journalist to a private Signal chat about a military op called,
- 35:03I swear I'm Not making this up, Operation Rough Rider.
- 35:08All right, so why does that sound like less of a convert
- 35:11mission? More like a discontinued
- 35:13Mountain Dew flavor with a felony record.
- 35:16Anyways, this wasn't just hey, let's brainstorm ideas for World
- 35:21Peace. No, this was full blown tactical
- 35:24strategy, military Intel. And because why not?
- 35:28The name of the undercover CIA officer, a real life spy is in
- 35:32Group chat too with a reporter. This isn't national security,
- 35:36it's a group text run by your drunk uncle.
- 35:40Like who else was in the chat? Snowden.
- 35:43Julian Assange? Probably someones mom asking
- 35:47what time dinner is. Honestly at this point I'm just
- 35:51waiting for the White House to create a Snapchat story called
- 35:54Top Secret Tuesday. Swipe up to launch a drone.
- 35:58Let's give it up. United States, the only country
- 36:01where we redacted classified dark documents with a sharpie
- 36:06and then left the originals in the scanner tray.
- 36:09Coming up next week we'll probably accidentally AirDrop
- 36:12the nuclear codes of Starbucks. Or will the NASA switch to a
- 36:16family plan on Verizon? Stay tuned for all that as the
- 36:20White House terms brought to you by Pop Secret Popcorn, because
- 36:24if we're going to leak every secret in this country it's got
- 36:28we might as well enjoy it with extra butter.
- 36:32God Bless America, you're so screwed.
- 36:36Transparency, baby. That's what everybody wanted.
- 36:39Transparency. Yeah, got it first hand.
- 36:43Let's. Well, you know, and they and I,
- 36:45I forget who says it, but they say that, you know, people say
- 36:50they want the truth. You can't handle.
- 36:54It, but you don't you don't want the truth.
- 36:56You know, I mean, it's it's a true thing in life.
- 37:00Everybody's had that person that like cheated or whatever on
- 37:03them. You never go to them and ask
- 37:06them because if you think that, I mean, you know, story's over,
- 37:11you know, kind of thing. Never ask a question that you
- 37:15really don't want the truth to. I learned that a long time ago.
- 37:18That's a true statement or you're not emotionally ready to
- 37:20handle it. That's a true statement.
- 37:22So I now not saying it was not on purpose, but I have had on
- 37:31these beautiful, beautiful gadgets where I'm texting like 3
- 37:35or 4 people at a time and I text something and they're like what?
- 37:40And I'm like. Text her on a window but.
- 37:44You I've done. It I have a story that won't
- 37:50wait till a later day. I have also have been with
- 37:55people and I've been texting on them.
- 37:58I put the phone down and the person's on my mind because they
- 38:02were it was being discussed about this one person.
- 38:05So you go to answer back and that I have done it and I don't,
- 38:10I don't know. I don't have a TBI.
- 38:12I do have cognitive theory because of COVID but damn spanky
- 38:15I have done that And so did he do that on purpose?
- 38:20Did he intentionally do that? Or so I'm I'm going to ask you
- 38:25this. No, don't, don't ask me nothing.
- 38:27I'm trying to flip a positive man.
- 38:31Was this OK? So like I remember the whole
- 38:34Peter saying when you know, that whole chat message was like blah
- 38:39blah blah, you know, is this the same situation or is this a new
- 38:43situation? Because if you saw this shit
- 38:46happening here, you might be on your PS and QS Just saying.
- 38:52We need to take this to the situation room because it is it
- 38:58is an A God awful mistake. And gosh, I I want to find that
- 39:07my conscious of positive is it was a mistake and I'm I'm not so
- 39:14sure how to redact that then. And you can't you just have to
- 39:22change whatever the concept was, change it right.
- 39:26I mean, hey, look, this is same thing with people.
- 39:30I was telling Terry earlier, one of the news things that came up,
- 39:34it was Yahoo News. I'll grant you, it's here we go
- 39:37Yahoo News. But it was an awareness and the
- 39:42awareness of the Yahoo news was that your Google drives, your
- 39:48Google mail, your cloud and Facebook, all of those tied into
- 39:56one another keeps keep saving your stuff to cloud and on the
- 39:58Internet that you don't even know where you're saving it.
- 40:00And now they have all that information because supposedly
- 40:04the Chinese has hacked it in. And according to Mark Zuckerberg
- 40:08of Facebook that he had, that it had been hacked.
- 40:12And Facebook I guess is linked to the cloud somehow.
- 40:16I don't know, I don't use it. And I also know it's linked
- 40:19directly to Gmail because they're trying to reinforce.
- 40:23Positive identification with everybody.
- 40:25So all of these things, your Instagram, your Facebook,
- 40:28everything needs to start linking into one another for a
- 40:31positive ID. And that way they can control
- 40:35man a little bit easier, right? That's my flip, for whatever
- 40:41it's worth. That's my flip.
- 40:42But please know out there your your cloud is not safe.
- 40:47It's kind of like a Lexus and whatever the other one's name is
- 40:51Siri. Siri.
- 40:53They're not they're not safe at all.
- 40:56And they are recorders for Big Daddy listening.
- 41:00And we all know this. They were supposed to be a a
- 41:04marketing to help assist to make life easier to you know, you're
- 41:09asking, inquiring about something and it's and it's
- 41:11supposed to be there. So there's good in every bad and
- 41:14there's bad in every good is how you look at it is perspective.
- 41:18So in perspective, I choose not to have them.
- 41:22I mean, I was in I told I was in common Intel.
- 41:25I mean, I that's my thing. We were never allowed to use any
- 41:29kind of form with our eyes are like it was just no, our facial
- 41:33recognitions. It was just a no period.
- 41:36And so we were actually, we were taught out in the beautiful
- 41:41desert that if and during our red flag procedures and tactical
- 41:44procedures that had, we would get caught with the digits to
- 41:50actually gouge our eyes up. That's how we were taught.
- 41:52Now that's pretty sick, right? Even the tech that was in the
- 41:5680s, think about that. That's 8586.
- 41:59So that that alone is going hmm, look at the technology, the
- 42:04advancements that was there that was not made for public
- 42:07awareness, right? Pretty sick transparency.
- 42:12Here we are. I can so you sure?
- 42:16Had that commercial, there's a commercial going around on
- 42:21TikTok, Instagram and all of them talking about, you know,
- 42:25it's like breaking news, big story.
- 42:27And then it's like, OK, slow down.
- 42:29This is A and then, you know, they're just, you know, they're
- 42:34going through all these different things, you know,
- 42:36talking about, you know, you know, AI is getting so good.
- 42:42AI is very good. AII pity.
- 42:44I pity the children today with AI, they are not even going to
- 42:49be able to understand what is real and what is not real.
- 42:51That that envision. Can you imagine 1000 years from
- 42:54now archaeologists digging up all of our stuff and they're
- 42:57like, what is real? What's not real here?
- 42:59I, I think I can't even figure it out.
- 43:01It is that blinding where people don't understand that.
- 43:05And that's pretty sad because in your, you can have a casual
- 43:09conversation and somebody's going to say, oh, no, I saw this
- 43:12and they did see it and they, it was so realistic.
- 43:16They want to point that outgoing, oh, it's real, It's
- 43:18real. I'm telling you, it's real.
- 43:20It's the human nature to really believe in anything and
- 43:26everything. You know, it's one thing I was
- 43:27telling my dad, you know, think about this, Everybody,
- 43:31everybody's the same, OK? When somebody brings you a pill
- 43:34like Advil or Tylenol or anything like that, do you ever
- 43:39question it? You always they, they bring you
- 43:44medicine. Hey, you, you, you have a
- 43:47headache? Here, here.
- 43:48Here's 20. Thanks.
- 43:50Oh, here, take this. This will make you feel better.
- 43:52Oh, thanks. Like everybody does that, you
- 43:56know, just like, hey, everybody, if if you know your password is
- 44:01going to be the same password that you use on all your social
- 44:06media, on all your Google everything.
- 44:08That's just a known fact. That's just a known fact.
- 44:11You know, it's stuff like that. And I still can't remember it.
- 44:15That's true. That's true.
- 44:19I remember my girlfriend's phone number from the elementary
- 44:21school. I I can still remember it.
- 44:24I can. Still remember mine?
- 44:29Those beepers I. Remember all those numbers for
- 44:31the beepers too? They were very important.
- 44:35So why aren't passwords important?
- 44:37Is it the functionality? Because my children, I mean, I
- 44:40call them children, but they're not, they're 30 and 32, but they
- 44:44remember, they remember those passwords.
- 44:46I'm like how I go. I would have to carry like a
- 44:49bajillion list because one only 1611's, 811's, 12.
- 44:53Who's remembering these things? Not me.
- 44:56Well, one of the reasons why they have the username and
- 44:58password to anything isn't so much about the trust thing.
- 45:03I I think that trusting just built up.
- 45:05I think the, the main reason why you have a username and a
- 45:09password is because whenever you do like a server or whatever,
- 45:13you have to have a title to that document.
- 45:16And then you have to have like the description and it has to be
- 45:19all labeled to be able to create a file.
- 45:22Like when you go into Google or when you go into Word and you
- 45:27start a file, like you're literally starting a code and
- 45:31when you're talking or even doing video, that code is pasted
- 45:35on that file. We don't see that file because
- 45:39courtesy of Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, you know, with Windows
- 45:46and stuff, you can hate them all you want, but they made their
- 45:48life a lot damn easier. I know there's no way in hell
- 45:52that I could do DOS. There's no way in hell I could
- 45:58do DOS because it's so hell. I remember when we had the
- 46:02Commodore, my dad spent 15 minutes on a coding thing and it
- 46:07just gave us a sentence. Oh, the dog ran and I looked at
- 46:12my dad and I'm like, are you shitting me?
- 46:14We spent all this time for one damn sentence.
- 46:18He's like, go away. I'm doing my homework.
- 46:19You know, the kind of thing. I did a whole semester just to
- 46:22draw a character on the computer screen.
- 46:26That was my senior year. Computers were introduced to our
- 46:29school and my senior year in high school.
- 46:31And it's one whole semester writing the code so that I could
- 46:35make a Pac-Man. Not the little bitey guy, but
- 46:38the little ghost duties, you know, pinkies.
- 46:41So and I could make him go across the computer and it was
- 46:45only a sketch. It was no color, no nothing,
- 46:47just a sketch of him going across it was the worst headache
- 46:51I ever had in my life. Binary, binary coding.
- 46:54So yeah, I get you. I get you a lot.
- 46:57And I was never an IT person, but I love math.
- 47:00I love it, love it. So yeah, we got to take a break.
- 47:03Oh yeah. We.
- 47:05Do. Yeah, we do.
- 47:06We just talk and talk and talk. Terry, what you got?
- 47:09We got Dallas Alexander, too. A hero.
- 47:12Oh, I love him. right?
- 51:06To a hero. The station where our veterans
- 51:09voices are heard. MBR talk.
- 51:14Hey, thanks for tuning in. Welcome back program are those
- 51:17of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect the views
- 51:22or. Positions of any entities they
- 51:24represent. The web at MB radio dot.
- 51:29OK, Dallas Alexander Jewel or Terry Terry's She's the music
- 51:34queen. I want so bad to have an
- 51:37interview on Two Cap with Dallas Alexander and Crow, which is
- 51:44third class because when I listen to that music, it is so
- 51:48inspiring, so elevating, so just heartfelt.
- 51:53And the words just resonate with me as a service person.
- 52:00It's resonates with my journey as life purpose, soul purpose.
- 52:03And it's obviously about me right now.
- 52:05So rest your souls. You're all in your feels,
- 52:10getting in my feelings, right? But it's true, I do.
- 52:15And and you know what, Dallas Alexander, if you're listening,
- 52:18and I know you do because your songs, we play them quite a bit.
- 52:21And that's not the only one we play.
- 52:23I truly, truly, truly enjoy your music to my heart's extent.
- 52:28So thank you so much for that beautiful song, Terry.
- 52:30So absolutely. So you bring that up.
- 52:33OK. I did talk to Crow today.
- 52:37Oh. Yeah.
- 52:38Yeah, he said. Hey, let we we never released
- 52:41that song. The band broke out when that
- 52:45video got released, remember? And I'm like, yeah, then he's
- 52:49like, but I'll see if I can find the recording somewhere and get
- 52:52it to you. And then he told me the only
- 52:55song that third class has made. And I'm like, OK, well, you need
- 52:59to add that to that music thing because that's what I'm trying
- 53:02to get him to. And then I told him, and I'm
- 53:04just letting it out now. I told him that, you know, not
- 53:09only did NBR want to support him, you know, I, I, he has a
- 53:14great music and that's what we're all about is supporting
- 53:18that voice. I told him that I asked him, and
- 53:23you'll love this MJ. I said, you're in Tennessee,
- 53:27brother. Remember that Lauren wrote that
- 53:31Lauren Thane Rose. He's like, yeah.
- 53:35And I'm like, OK, well, did you connect?
- 53:38And he was like, I think so, but we didn't really narrow it down.
- 53:41And I'm like, OK, we'll check this out.
- 53:42OK. I'm thinking a recording time,
- 53:45maybe we can raise up the money, maybe 5 hundred, $600.00, get
- 53:49you and Rose in the same room and you guys can do a veteran's
- 53:54song and all the money can go to the veterans.
- 54:00Oh my gosh. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 54:03So I'm, you know, he's he's he's checking around, probably, you
- 54:07know, call calling each one of them like The Avengers.
- 54:11Hey, we have a mission. Getting the band back together.
- 54:14Let's go. Put the band back together.
- 54:18The boys are getting back. What's that?
- 54:21There's a song Boys are back in town.
- 54:23Boys are back in town. What is that song Boys are?
- 54:25Back in town, The boys are back in town.
- 54:27That's it. Hey, I send them that idea
- 54:29because you know, we play the music of Crow and we play the
- 54:34music with Lauren all the time. That would be killer to have two
- 54:40of different videos that we carry and they they play a song
- 54:44for veterans, I mean. OK, I got it.
- 54:47I got it. Wait, Joe, I got it.
- 54:48You know how like they have farm aid, we can have NBR made aid?
- 54:53Yes, I like it. Yeah, I like it.
- 54:57I mean, you can have it in Colorado over there thing and
- 55:00then we. Can like NBA?
- 55:04What NBA? NBA Yeah, Military broadcast
- 55:07aid. NBR Aid MBR.
- 55:13Aids what? They're pretty promiscuous,
- 55:21those NBR people. Yeah, we could do like one of
- 55:28those farm aid types of deals or, you know, hunger aids or
- 55:32whatever they do those we have beautiful.
- 55:36Farm Aid and Yeah. Have Scotty Frazier and Mike and
- 55:41Michael John. What's his name?
- 55:42Ferrari Fari. Yeah.
- 55:44And then we can have die tired. Terry got that in the bag, you
- 55:48know? What I tell you, I was talking
- 55:51with somebody today because I was telling them, well, I, I
- 55:56just said, you know, I was telling him about MBR.
- 55:59And you know, I'd never thought about it this way, but we're the
- 56:03only Internet radio station that goes to remotes and will stream
- 56:07the live event on a Roku channel.
- 56:10See that? Yeah, Hero stock.
- 56:17Right, Right. Listen.
- 56:18Hey, Jason, what are you doing? Invite us.
- 56:22Invite us to come Invite all of our hosts to come and support
- 56:25you. Yes, I would.
- 56:27Oh my gosh. What a great idea.
- 56:30Do it, Joel. Do it.
- 56:31I'll back you. I'll sponsor you.
- 56:33I'll. I'll come out.
- 56:34I promise. I'll come out of pencil Tucky.
- 56:36I promise. And you know, a lot of people
- 56:40told me that they would sponsor me when I started that podcast.
- 56:43None of them are around except my dad now.
- 56:46So I don't think that went very successful.
- 56:48Hopefully it goes better on this on this project.
- 56:51What are you talking about? He's sitting right beside you.
- 56:53What a hero. Right, he's his support.
- 56:55You're not even listening to that song.
- 57:00Come on, Joel. Yeah.
- 57:02Yeah, not only did he sponsor you, man, he's picking me up and
- 57:06he's right there beside. You.
- 57:07Yeah, he is when I started. I have 3 downloads me, I think
- 57:14this is working. And then it was my dad.
- 57:18Nice. And God rest his soul, that's
- 57:22what you should be saying. Yes, and I won't forget the
- 57:24little people you know, you know that.
- 57:26Thank. You.
- 57:27I appreciate you. Thank you for me.
- 57:33Don't forget me, Joel five. I'm 5.3.
- 57:38Don't forget me. But just to let you know I'm
- 57:41working on it, I'm trying. Great.
- 57:44I love that. I will.
- 57:45All the military, I think all the military veterans, everybody
- 57:51at Hero Stock, since they're there, I think they should all
- 57:54cut a song together. You know that'd.
- 57:58Be cool. Just like we are the world, so
- 58:00we could. We are the military.
- 58:03World. Yeah, we are the veterans.
- 58:07I think it would be an awesome thing.
- 58:09I do too. I'm telling you, you could do
- 58:11this. What an.
- 58:12Interesting. We'll have to tell a
- 58:13representative that deals with that stuff, Trace.
- 58:20OK, Jason, hello, I got an idea for you.
- 58:26Just to get on poor Tracer, how do I square soul?
- 58:32She got horses, man, She don't have time.
- 58:34I know, right? But, you know, she just, she has
- 58:36that nice punctual tack in the e-mail where it's like, you
- 58:42know, oh. Maybe we can destroy that.
- 58:48I've been trying with Chad DPT but he's starting to get a
- 58:51little sarcastic. Wow.
- 58:53He's getting snarky. He is, he is.
- 58:56And you couldn't tell from the Saturday.
- 58:58It was just a thought. And then he like, he took it one
- 59:01more mile over it. I'm like, OK.
- 59:04And then it I think it was like something else like, you know,
- 59:08popping pop some corny like popcorn on on the beach or
- 59:13something. And I'm like, come on now.
- 59:16The only reason why I didn't put all the Ribenbacher in there is
- 59:20not only can I not pronounce it, but it couldn't spell it either.
- 59:24So I just put pop secret that. Word secret.
- 59:28Confessions of H train. That's the new segment
- 59:33confessions of H Train. Yeah, he lost.
- 59:35He lost control of the back computer because it keeps giving
- 59:38them Barney. So now he's just going to go pop
- 59:40Secret Time. That was really messed up when
- 59:46they did that, you know, wow, hey, I tell you what it it
- 59:54benefits you and sometimes it doesn't benefit you, but you
- 59:59know, chat GPTIII definitely think it's helping a lot of
- 1:00:03people now it's probably hurting a lot more people than it's
- 1:00:06helping because there's just bad people out there.
- 1:00:10You know, there's, there's people on TikTok doing videos of
- 1:00:13hey. For what you're driving, if you
- 1:00:16screw a nail into your tire and use it, that will that will give
- 1:00:20you traction and you can get out of the ice.
- 1:00:23Come on man, there are actually people that believe that shit,
- 1:00:28you know. It's like ChatGPT today, but in
- 1:00:32the 90s it was cha cha. You remember cha cha?
- 1:00:36I don't remember cha cha. I know the cha cha dance.
- 1:00:40No, no, you stinker. Not the cha cha dance.
- 1:00:46No, there used to be and you could do it.
- 1:00:49It was 242242. It's called cha cha.
- 1:00:53And you would text 242 like cha cha.
- 1:00:56You would text it and ask the question and they would give you
- 1:00:59the answer. How did I know this?
- 1:01:00Because my kids when they had homework, they would come and
- 1:01:04ask me to help them. And I would be like, man, I
- 1:01:07don't know this new math thing. I go just do the old math.
- 1:01:10I I great in the old math. They literally sat there going
- 1:01:14mom, just forget it and they go Cha cha and they and they
- 1:01:18plugged it and texted it into their phone and the damn answer
- 1:01:21came up. I go, hey, it's like she goes
- 1:01:24mom, everybody does in school with Tess Cha Cha, and that's.
- 1:01:29I've never even heard of Cha cha.
- 1:01:31Well, you weren't living in Miami because Cha Cha was all
- 1:01:34over New Jersey. And this is the East Coast thing
- 1:01:37because even my nieces and nephews were using Cha Cha and I
- 1:01:41was like Oh my God, these are just talking.
- 1:01:43About I was in the do. You you remember Disco?
- 1:01:50Yes, where I was in. I love disco the 60s.
- 1:01:56Oh, yeah, baby, I'm telling you, when you said 1966, I was like,
- 1:02:00oh, I was only six months swimming on that part.
- 1:02:08No, I remember, I remember very well.
- 1:02:10My oldest, I had older brothers and sisters.
- 1:02:12So the baby I got to tag along, you know, inappropriately to a
- 1:02:17lot of things. So yeah, but it was called Cha
- 1:02:22Cha CHACHA. And I think that's what ChatGPT
- 1:02:27is literally like fascist out of like fashing itself out of not a
- 1:02:31fascist, but fashing. Fashioning.
- 1:02:34Fashioning itself. I can't say that word either.
- 1:02:36Oh my. Goodness, I was like trying to
- 1:02:37say it too fast. Say it, Joel.
- 1:02:39Fashioning it. Fashioning it.
- 1:02:41I can't even say it over Wacken Walker.
- 1:02:45Supercalifragilist the expialidocious to you.
- 1:02:51You're asking me to pronounce something that's more than 4
- 1:02:54syllables. It's bad enough I'm not even
- 1:02:57Spanish and I've got 4 names. Joel Lewis.
- 1:02:59Wayne Hunt. Yeah, try being Italian.
- 1:03:06I'm like, damn, I can't even spell the first one.
- 1:03:08I failed kindergarten. I failed my name.
- 1:03:10I couldn't spell it. I go, that's not fair.
- 1:03:13Shouldn't spell it right. Blame them.
- 1:03:16Blame. Blame them.
- 1:03:21OK, here's another one. Here's another goodie, goodie,
- 1:03:24goodie. Good.
- 1:03:25So as you know, AOC and Bernie are out trots and around plus
- 1:03:32Hakeem something, right? Cash Patel comes as the White
- 1:03:39House turns. Cash Patel comes in with all of
- 1:03:43these warrants. Did you hear about that?
- 1:03:45Oh my gosh. So and I'm thinking to myself,
- 1:03:52is it a coup? Is there, is it possible like
- 1:03:55Soros is basically behind Democrats, we all know this, but
- 1:03:59is there a coup truly with still within?
- 1:04:03That's a question I always ask and why?
- 1:04:06Because if you allow segregations or if you don't
- 1:04:11allow bipartisanships, then would that be a coup like you're
- 1:04:15always like with them? Or you're always.
- 1:04:18Trying to get them. You know, I don't, I don't know,
- 1:04:20but you bring up a good point because I don't know if you
- 1:04:22caught this morning, but about now it's been about 16-17 hours
- 1:04:28ago. Ukraine is the first country
- 1:04:31historically that has smuggled drones into Russia and it
- 1:04:38departed like 3536% of their air, their airplane, their, you
- 1:04:44know, their war plan. So now in the next couple of
- 1:04:48days and when you're talking about a coup, that's when this
- 1:04:51shit happens. The next couple of days, expect
- 1:04:58a retaliation from Russia over the weekend.
- 1:05:02As you can see, all this shit that they do is on the weekend.
- 1:05:06It's always on the weekend. That's never during the week,
- 1:05:10it's always on the weekend. So just keep that in mind.
- 1:05:15Maybe there's an auto pen somewhere floating around in the
- 1:05:18black market now. Somewhere.
- 1:05:22That damn auto pen. Who's controlling us?
- 1:05:25Who is that? Right.
- 1:05:28Well, you know, I just I, I don't, I, I don't know that, but
- 1:05:31that's what it seems like. And, you know, I would I would
- 1:05:35kind of expect, you know, Russia to come back, say, OK, let's
- 1:05:38have a peace talk you. But these guys are, you know,
- 1:05:42they're stubborn. Like that's something that I
- 1:05:44don't like, I mean. Where's the money back in this?
- 1:05:47I mean is is it UE or EU not U EE U is EU back in it?
- 1:05:53I just don't like the government where they, they can't, they
- 1:05:56can't just admit their mistakes, you know, just admit your
- 1:06:02mistakes. They can't listen.
- 1:06:07I everybody knows I have a dear senator who's close to our
- 1:06:10family's heart. His name is, is Dave McCormick
- 1:06:12here in Pennsylvania. And he was so proud that he
- 1:06:17thought that the parties were literally joining together and
- 1:06:22he created this huge announcement about a bill that
- 1:06:28was passed by part by and he even named the senators on the
- 1:06:33bipartisan that assisted in passing the bill.
- 1:06:36The tricky part of the whole thing was it was originally the
- 1:06:39bill that started in the Biden administration.
- 1:06:42So now why are you fighting yourself?
- 1:06:44Why? Why are you fighting a bill that
- 1:06:47you already asked about? And then to make it worse, you
- 1:06:51go to give them congratulations. And then you have people who are
- 1:06:56not even a Republican on it, just kicking the man in his
- 1:07:00face, kicking it down, kicking everything he says positively.
- 1:07:04There's no slip pattern. So then I quietly ask, when,
- 1:07:08when, when is everybody going to actually be happy about things?
- 1:07:13Because this was your bill. This wasn't part of this
- 1:07:16administration. This was part of your bill.
- 1:07:19Fact that you all didn't get done right.
- 1:07:23So when, when is everybody just going to be at peace?
- 1:07:26When is everybody just going to be happy and have beautiful
- 1:07:31things coming out of their mouth instead of resentment and ugly
- 1:07:34words? That is starting to be a very
- 1:07:36big trend and I don't like it. You can't even say anything nice
- 1:07:40or tell somebody. You really need to get some
- 1:07:42help, you know, because this is just anger and rage and flood.
- 1:07:47I mean paragraphs just flooding, flooding, flooding of
- 1:07:51negativity. I don't like social media
- 1:07:54anymore. I really don't.
- 1:07:55I, I'm finding it, you can't navigate it freely and I don't.
- 1:08:00And I always tell people and they ask me, I go, I don't see
- 1:08:04things like that because I, I go to certain people's pages.
- 1:08:07I don't like news feeds because I go there's, there's so much
- 1:08:11anger and resentment and ugliness and interpretation is
- 1:08:15by ego and by unconscious heels and that just doesn't work.
- 1:08:20It doesn't work for anybody. People put their feelings on
- 1:08:24Facebook posts and. It's not a damn diary.
- 1:08:28It's. Yeah, well, you know, and I'm
- 1:08:31learning that. I mean, I, I can admit that, you
- 1:08:34know, and that's the reason why I speak from experience and I'm
- 1:08:37saying it. What people do is they post
- 1:08:41stuff and then when other people respond to it, you know, they,
- 1:08:47they, they challenge them, then, you know, it depresses them or
- 1:08:52they block them or anything like that.
- 1:08:54Social media isn't to share your thoughts.
- 1:08:57Social media is to share like family photos or, you know, I
- 1:09:04don't want to say, you know, I don't want to say meals or
- 1:09:08hamburgers or anything, but we know everybody takes pictures of
- 1:09:11those. Those are usually better to do
- 1:09:14than you know. Why?
- 1:09:17Why don't they make B batteries? You know nobody cares.
- 1:09:21You're getting me hungry, you know, I was in Jersey.
- 1:09:28Beautiful concept and you're making me hungry.
- 1:09:30So I'm thinking about it. They have a store.
- 1:09:32So we we worked all day to get a bridal shower this weekend done.
- 1:09:36And at the very end, of course, because we're all a bunch of
- 1:09:39hippies, right? We partake and having, you know,
- 1:09:43some people had a cocktail, some people had other kind of
- 1:09:46cocktails and a half hour later, now we're all starving. 10:00 at
- 1:09:51night, 1030, whatever it was after work and all day.
- 1:09:55There is a store and a restaurant that is called
- 1:09:59Munchies. God rest their herbivore souls.
- 1:10:08Everything that you could think of a munchie they have on that
- 1:10:11menu. I was gonna say is does munchie
- 1:10:14mean the same thing there as it does here 'cause munchie for us
- 1:10:19is low fat yogurt. It's like ice cream, yogurt.
- 1:10:25You just made MJ Bilion happy. I'm.
- 1:10:28Gonna cry. What is?
- 1:10:32No, it's Mac and cheese with truffle.
- 1:10:34It's cheeseburgers. It's it's real much.
- 1:10:38Good stuff. It's the good stuff.
- 1:10:40It is, well, OK, my fault. I'm sorry.
- 1:10:47Yeah, wow, man. Yogurt.
- 1:10:51Do I look like I eat yogurt? That's that's the company here
- 1:10:55in Colorado, it's munchies. So I didn't know if it was the.
- 1:10:58Same. Oh no, this is they haven't.
- 1:11:01I'm telling you, those people are herbers because they had it.
- 1:11:05They nailed it. They nailed the junk food man,
- 1:11:09and it was so pleasing that I talked about the next day going.
- 1:11:14I just I just need to get high so I can just go get that magic.
- 1:11:18That's all I'm wanting to do and I'm OK with it, but not until
- 1:11:217:00. Like I can't, I can't handle it
- 1:11:25till 7:00. I'm a I'm not a big handler.
- 1:11:27I would never be able to live in Colorado.
- 1:11:29I'm not a big handler of that. But 7:00 it's like my my, my
- 1:11:34ritual night time. Anyway, Master Mike over there,
- 1:11:37Master hunt. I'm going to ask you something
- 1:11:41that's not you. H string.
- 1:11:42You sit back. I want to talk to the master.
- 1:11:45I wouldn't say that, but. So, Master Mike, let me ask you,
- 1:11:53how do you find Colorado and compared to where you live now?
- 1:11:57Oh. My gosh, I raised fruit trees.
- 1:12:06No, we're not talking about Jewel no more.
- 1:12:08I'm just. On the second week of May, I
- 1:12:15lost my apricot tree to a frost. The cold weather there, I mean
- 1:12:22the cold weather is in the 60s there.
- 1:12:26I'm forgetting. Maybe when I get back it'll
- 1:12:30actually get to 70 and stay that way during the week.
- 1:12:33That's what I'm hoping. For so it's cold not to have
- 1:12:40cold. It's cold.
- 1:12:42Yeah, it's nice. Here in Colorado, it's.
- 1:12:46Nice. Yeah.
- 1:12:46It's almost like people here in Colorado don't like Colorado
- 1:12:50because it's cold. It's like, why are you in
- 1:12:55Colorado? I I tell him I don't understand
- 1:12:58why he went to Indiana but like Indiana has way rougher winters
- 1:13:02than Colorado. Really.
- 1:13:05Oh yeah. Oh wow, I thought that.
- 1:13:09Pennsylvania winters are tougher there than Colorado.
- 1:13:13Dude, I tell you, it was 37° last night.
- 1:13:16My Chihuahua, she couldn't handle it.
- 1:13:18She's a Florida dog. She's I had to take.
- 1:13:21Me home. Two sweaters, a blanket and
- 1:13:23she's still shivering and the poor thing is like 14 years old.
- 1:13:26I'm like, she is just not built for this.
- 1:13:28She's just. What are the windshields like?
- 1:13:32The what? The windshields.
- 1:13:34Last flight that was bad. Last night we had about 15 mile
- 1:13:38an hour. And to get to do
- 1:13:40astrophotography, you have to really get on top of the the
- 1:13:43mounds. They have a really nice and
- 1:13:45cherry springs. It's a photography place for
- 1:13:47night for night. It's the one place and here's
- 1:13:50the joke. So it's supposed to be no light
- 1:13:54pollution, right? It's it was made because it is
- 1:13:58the darkest spot actually in all of Pennsylvania.
- 1:14:02And I, I can't remember in all of something like not just
- 1:14:05Pennsylvania, but I think the eastern side here, it's supposed
- 1:14:08to be the darkest area. No lights, dude, you were were
- 1:14:11trying to shoot like star trails and we're trying to shoot the
- 1:14:14Milky Way or trying to shoot the Roy Borealis and the car lights
- 1:14:19keep coming in. They're because everybody in
- 1:14:21Boone Hill, I think in Pennsylvania was there last
- 1:14:23night with these car lights. And so all the poor
- 1:14:26photographers really didn't get good pictures because the car
- 1:14:30lights. So yeah, it was.
- 1:14:33And even the, the the Rangers, I guess that's what they're
- 1:14:37called, the state Rangers or the state foresters, you know, who
- 1:14:40are supposed to be be there to do their job.
- 1:14:45You would think if they're promoting that State Park as no
- 1:14:50light noise, that somebody might be handling it.
- 1:14:53Somebody might be, you know, turn your car lights off, put
- 1:14:56your dimmers on, your fog lights not so bright.
- 1:14:59Nope. Full beat.
- 1:15:00Like it's so blinding. You're like, OK, I can't even
- 1:15:03see for the next hour. I can't even see what's in the
- 1:15:06sky. So tonight I said, we're not
- 1:15:09going there again. I go.
- 1:15:09We're going to stay in our own backyard.
- 1:15:11But there you have it. It's walking getting you a cold
- 1:15:14town. Is it a cold state?
- 1:15:16Do they produce a lot of coal nerves?
- 1:15:19Steel. Yeah.
- 1:15:20In fact, the senators, here we go again.
- 1:15:23They're opening up. They're reopening up our steel
- 1:15:25mines here. President Trump said that he was
- 1:15:29going to reopen all the steel mines that the other
- 1:15:32administration shut down and put everybody out of work.
- 1:15:36Steel mills in Kokomo. So they're opening up the steel
- 1:15:40mines. The coal mines have never
- 1:15:42really. Some of the coal mines have shut
- 1:15:44down more coal mines in West Virginia shut than here because
- 1:15:49anthracite is part of one of the fuels, you know, to heat our to
- 1:15:53heat the homes. So there's a lot of coal
- 1:15:55burning, oil burning wood burnings.
- 1:15:59So but steel where I was born in Danville little history.
- 1:16:04We're called the Iron Man because the iron was so much
- 1:16:08that we were known at Kennedy Van Sawn the warehouse or the
- 1:16:12factory. They're making the T rails for
- 1:16:15all of the railroads, so all of the railroad tracks are known as
- 1:16:20T rails. And all of that iron ore came
- 1:16:22from a little place called Danville back in the 18
- 1:16:26something when they started running trains.
- 1:16:29Yeah, made out of steel and iron, but yes, we do have a lot
- 1:16:33of steel mines. They just opened them.
- 1:16:37So there's going to be a lot of people who are going to benefit
- 1:16:40to go back into jobs and back into work.
- 1:16:42So that's really, really good. And since Michigan is opening up
- 1:16:45their cars for manufacturing again and bringing them back in,
- 1:16:50then those two ISO associate O2 states will barter and trade,
- 1:16:54you know as well. Very nice.
- 1:16:57Yes, yes. So I was just curious because in

- 1:17:46there, gold miners, and I heard that they're going to start open
- 1:17:50up some of those gold mines out there.
- 1:17:51Is that true? Nah.
- 1:17:55Well, it could be Colorado is they're really isn't.
- 1:18:01They're growing so fast. They're opening up their

- 1:18:12Yeah, yeah. There's my gold there.
- 1:18:14He's a big money guy. He's a big money guy.
- 1:18:17Go after it, Joe. Go mining.

- 1:19:36I want to get a low down ditty embarrassing story on H train.
- 1:19:41Tell us. Tell us a secret.
- 1:19:45H train OK in high school, in high school, from his sophomore
- 1:19:52all the way up to his, I'd say almost senior year.
- 1:19:56You know these balloon pants? Oh yeah, I love moon pants.
- 1:20:02He wears blue. He wore balloon pants and he
- 1:20:04used to and he used to like at them.
- 1:20:08One of those guys, those rappers that wear that moon pants, he,
- 1:20:13he used to be like them. Nice, but jewel.
- 1:20:18I wear those pants every day. They're called ham pants.
- 1:20:21He was like, he was like the hammer.
- 1:20:23He was hammering it. Just love his hand gesture, like
- 1:20:26his hand gesture is going to help him answer these questions.
- 1:20:30You know, the thing that he's trying to say is MC Hammer Dad.
- 1:20:34Yeah, Yeah. That's what.
- 1:20:35He looked like MC Hammer. I think he was in one.
- 1:20:41Three years. 1. Question.
- 1:20:43Tell. Don't tell me that nobody here
- 1:20:45ever had a pair of zebra pants. Damn it, everybody had a pair.
- 1:20:50Everybody, everybody. Mine were cougar but it's OK
- 1:20:54you. Used to dress up like a clown.
- 1:21:05Oh, I can't say that because they what?
- 1:21:07MC Hammer's pants were dead. They were actually typhetic yoga
- 1:21:11pants, and I wear them almost every day, believe it or not.
- 1:21:14So I'm with Jewel in this one. They're comfy.
- 1:21:18They don't hold the jewels. Get it?
- 1:21:20They don't hold the jewels tight.
- 1:21:22I just feel they were big pants. Yeah, can't go into combat in
- 1:21:28Vietnam, exactly. If it's hot.
- 1:21:31As I say, sometimes you gotta go commando.
- 1:21:36They were such big pants. You can put all of all of his
- 1:21:39ammunition in them. Babies.
- 1:21:43You wash my pistol, OK? I love it.
- 1:21:50I'm sorry, Joel. Am I picking on you too much
- 1:21:52today? No, that's OK.
- 1:21:53I'm just glad he didn't go further and what he was talking
- 1:21:56about because I thought he was going to go further and when he
- 1:21:59stopped, I'm like, OK, and I'm not going to remind you now.
- 1:22:02So I'm just trying to stop where it is.
- 1:22:05OK, in all fairness, Terry, what, what kind of style did you
- 1:22:09wear in high school? So we we got MC Hammer pants.
- 1:22:11What you got bell bottoms? Bell bottoms.
- 1:22:14With the flares, with the jeans where your mom cuts out the
- 1:22:18triangle and then puts in the different color fabric and they
- 1:22:20were probably as wide. They were elephant pants, they
- 1:22:23called them too. That's what.
- 1:22:25Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:22:28Oh, baby, I I, I had big hair. I mean Grande mucho Grande here
- 1:22:34when I graduated, I look at my I go.
- 1:22:38Is there an actual person underneath that wig?
- 1:22:42That was a lot of Aqua net, man. I had a ton of Aqua Net and I
- 1:22:48like the Punker, so I would kind of shave this side had it all
- 1:22:51kind of out you. Bought a lot of Hairspray.
- 1:22:55I did. I did.
- 1:22:56I had my hair. I mean my hair.
- 1:22:57I would tease it and tease it and tease it.
- 1:22:59So it was big hair, man, Big hair.
- 1:23:02Don't care. I remember quite well.
- 1:23:08I changed though. Look how beautiful now I I
- 1:23:10changed my whole appearance. I changed how my thought
- 1:23:13processes were. I did well, but I hadn't let
- 1:23:16that fly. I had to be free.
- 1:23:18We. Got butterflies flying around
- 1:23:21with her during their shows. They cut my hair in the military
- 1:23:25so I didn't have a choice in the 80s.
- 1:23:27They I was no longer big hair. In fact, I'm going to tell you a
- 1:23:32secret. In fact, I'll even show you.
- 1:23:33I think I have a picture somewhere as soon as I get the
- 1:23:35boxes unpacked of those in the military.
- 1:23:38I was a Keesler and I would like I would braid my hair tight,
- 1:23:44tight, tight, because I always had mucho thick curly hair and
- 1:23:48it was always puffy and and Keesler is so hot and even down
- 1:23:54in Lackland, it's so freaking hot that we didn't have humidity
- 1:23:57in Pennsylvania like that. And my hair just within seconds,
- 1:24:03it would be a puffball, but then I'd have it always braided and
- 1:24:06on the weekends it was always at the tech school.
- 1:24:10They always had like fun, like a fun time where they always had
- 1:24:12these things And we were allowed to let our as women, we were
- 1:24:15allowed our girls. We were allowed to let our hair
- 1:24:17down. So I was like, yes, I'd spent
- 1:24:20hours trying to unbraid this long, long.
- 1:24:23It was almost out of my butt, my hair, and I was trying to, like,
- 1:24:27undo it. Oh my God, No lie.
- 1:24:30I look like Rosanna Gamma. I got.
- 1:24:34Temptations too, didn't you? Yeah, I can hide shit in it,
- 1:24:38man. No, everybody would like their
- 1:24:46face. Like I remember looking like
- 1:24:48their face because the guys doors were across the thing and
- 1:24:51they're like Lynn, I'm like, yeah, man, it's the real me.
- 1:24:57It's the Real McCoy I have to find.
- 1:24:59And I have my fatigues on at the door at this massive, massive
- 1:25:04hair. And I saw that picture and I was
- 1:25:07packing up in Miami and I just started laughing so hard going.
- 1:25:11Now, what was I thinking about that?
- 1:25:13No, really, what was I thinking with that big hair?
- 1:25:17Because it took hours to comb it out and tease it.
- 1:25:20And. Yeah.
- 1:25:23I think we, I think sometimes we all do stuff that we don't think
- 1:25:27about. Oh shit, this is going to take a
- 1:25:29while. Yes, this isn't as easy as I
- 1:25:32thought it would be. My father used to tell me in
- 1:25:35high school, you can't make, you know, he would watch me put
- 1:25:38makeup on or do my hair. And he goes, you know, he used
- 1:25:40to call me Popcorn. That was my nickname.
- 1:25:42And he's like, you know, you can't make chicken salad out of
- 1:25:45chicken shit, right? I go wow.
- 1:25:54I bet he was. He was a boomer, wasn't he?
- 1:25:57He was a what? A baby boomer.
- 1:25:59Oh, yeah, Oh, yes, he was, he was yes.
- 1:26:05I mean, my, my family was big jokesters, you know, my pop, he
- 1:26:09would always tell my grandmother she was the older woman because
- 1:26:12he was she was born one month older than my pop.
- 1:26:15And now both my both of their brothers, my grands, they were,
- 1:26:20they were drafted. They both one was in the Navy
- 1:26:23and one was Army. They both died over there during
- 1:26:26the draft. But he used to.
- 1:26:29He used to say, you know, he goes, I married an older woman
- 1:26:31for a reason. I said, yeah, why is that?
- 1:26:33He goes because he goes, they're supposed to outlive us.
- 1:26:36They don't have the stress that we do.
- 1:26:38And he goes, yeah, and he goes, but he goes, she's really
- 1:26:40causing me stress. He goes because I bought her the
- 1:26:42perfect birthday gift, and she never used it.
- 1:26:45And so I swore I would never buy her anything else.
- 1:26:48And it got dead silent. And I was like, what did you buy
- 1:26:51her? Because of course, that's the
- 1:26:52next question. He goes, well, I bought her a
- 1:26:54cemetery plot. He goes.
- 1:26:56She never used it. That's the kind of family I grew
- 1:27:02up. In I just like you gave me a
- 1:27:05new, a new statement, a new word.
- 1:27:09From now on, MJ, when somebody tells me something and I'm like,
- 1:27:13instead of saying you're full of shit, I'm going to say, you
- 1:27:17know, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit.
- 1:27:22Yeah, there you go. I'm I'm going to know that, you
- 1:27:24know, kind of like, you know, you're on like a, a bad sunburn
- 1:27:28or a bad rash. You know, I like these
- 1:27:31statements. We were talking about words the
- 1:27:36other day because I, I, one of the words that I use, and it's
- 1:27:40just a sixties 70s word that I always use.
- 1:27:42I'm like, Oh my God, that's so gay.
- 1:27:44Means it's fun. It's, you know, it's out there,
- 1:27:46especially my genre, you know, and they're like, you cannot say
- 1:27:50that that is politically incorrect.
- 1:27:51I go, well, who is this? Little slimstone shut.
- 1:27:55Up politics in there I was. Yeah.
- 1:28:01Freedom of speech. But you can't say that I go, oh,
- 1:28:04that's sad. Do you know how many like
- 1:28:06children's shows have that in it?
- 1:28:08That's sad, so sad, so sad. Anywho, so folks, we are at the
- 1:28:15hour and a half Mark. We need to make decisions.
- 1:28:22We're going to solve all the world's problems right now.
- 1:28:24We are because we're going to have MBR like a Farm aid, but
- 1:28:29it's going to be MBR aid. Write that down, Joel.
- 1:28:32MBA because we can't say MB raid.
- 1:28:37Why? Because MB raid, you know, I
- 1:28:40mean that would not go well. I mean, let's think of the PR
- 1:28:43stuff here, OK? So we have to put MB aid, OK,
- 1:28:47and. OK, military broadcast aid.
- 1:28:51How about that? Yeah.
- 1:28:52Then we. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:53OK, OK, so we're going to do that.
- 1:28:56We're also going to have all the artists come through.
- 1:28:59So we're recapping all the artists are going to come to
- 1:29:02this a thing, hopefully cross our fingers, you know, hope to
- 1:29:05die. And maybe, maybe if we're lucky,
- 1:29:08we can get as many DJs as we can to introduce these artists so
- 1:29:12that they have right, they have their little.
- 1:29:17Concert. Yeah.
- 1:29:19No hero stock. That's right, yeah.
- 1:29:23We want hero stock to be a part. Yeah, we'll let.
- 1:29:27We don't organize this, we want them to be a part of it.
- 1:29:31Yeah, it would be really freaking cool is to have like
- 1:29:34Master Hunt there and have others from that era and that
- 1:29:38genre and tell a little clip of a little story.
- 1:29:41You know you have X amount of myths and in between those music
- 1:29:44things and then This is why we do what we do, man, this is.
- 1:29:48How Veteran stories. Veteran testimonies, stories,
- 1:29:51whatever the other. Decree.
- 1:29:53You're hearing it first hand. News.
- 1:29:55This is best news ever beyond the headline.
- 1:29:57Yeah, we're brainstorm online, everybody.
- 1:30:00We never talk to each other individual.
- 1:30:03And the and the other side of the thing on that both of you
- 1:30:11ask any veteran ask him now this is on completely on the other
- 1:30:17side of the heroes and all that ask them if they know anything
- 1:30:22about the LBJ now that Lyndon. Berg, Johnson.
- 1:30:27Huh, Lyndon? Berg Johnson, Lyndon.
- 1:30:31Lyndon V Johnson ask ask any veteran you come across at that
- 1:30:37time if they know anything about it now.
- 1:30:40This is completely on the other side of the regular stories.
- 1:30:45This is completely on the other side.
- 1:30:47Yeah. Ask them.
- 1:30:49Do you know anything about the LBJ?
- 1:30:51Just ask anybody. OK, well tell us the answer,
- 1:30:54damn it. Well, you did.
- 1:30:56If you're paying attention to a White House drama, it's a
- 1:30:59transparency. He's talking about JFK, right?
- 1:31:02No LBJLBJ. What about?
- 1:31:06LBJ give us the answer. Do they know you know what the
- 1:31:09LBJ? Is yeah.
- 1:31:10Just tell us the answer I feel like I'm talking about.
- 1:31:14You calm down, Joel. You calm down.
- 1:31:16You calm down, Joel. Lyndon Baines Johnson, Vietnam
- 1:31:23Jail. Ask him who was put there and
- 1:31:27why. It's completely on the other
- 1:31:29side of what you what you have heard and talked about.
- 1:31:34Just ask anybody. I want to know about the LBJ
- 1:31:38jail. It was located a couple miles
- 1:31:42from the 292nd. Fill the hospital and I don't
- 1:31:48care. Ask the brass if you know the
- 1:31:50senators. Like I said, you're.
- 1:31:53You know they're not going to, they're not going to tell the
- 1:31:54truth. That's what we're asking for.
- 1:31:55Answers from you. Ask them about it.
- 1:31:58Ask him who was housed there. Why.
- 1:32:00OK all. Right.
- 1:32:01I'm asking you, who's housed there?
- 1:32:03Do you know? Do you know who's housed there?
- 1:32:06Yeah. Well then, tell us.
- 1:32:08Yeah, you have to. So we know what they know.
- 1:32:10The PO WS went through there, the North Vietnamese PO WS went
- 1:32:14through there. The people, the American GIS,
- 1:32:21the the druggies, the people who had PSD so bad they went nuts.
- 1:32:29The guys whose wives they had divorced them while they were
- 1:32:34over there. They wouldn't nuts.
- 1:32:36If they couldn't get away to get back home to Thailand or
- 1:32:42Bangkok, Bangkok, they went nuts and they put them in a jail
- 1:32:48because they went nuts. They did everything.
- 1:32:52Habitual drug users, the what do you call it?
- 1:32:58The how? Well, what do I say it the
- 1:33:02segregation, the integration issues in Vietnam at that point.
- 1:33:09At that time they were bad. They were buddies in the field.
- 1:33:16They stayed in their position, you stayed yours.
- 1:33:20How can I say it when they were, when they came in and units,
- 1:33:25some of them are like brothers, but it put in the base units.
- 1:33:32What can I say? The segregation was there.
- 1:33:35I'm not going to lie to you, it was there.
- 1:33:37Yeah. Segregation is a part of
- 1:33:40judgment and so we have beautifully had thousands of
- 1:33:46years of humans with egos and judgments and and this just
- 1:33:51dishonouring of of man and. And one thing that come up.
- 1:33:56I love you that you you lived through that and it's such an
- 1:33:59thank you. Thank you for that wisdom.
- 1:34:00I didn't know that. I didn't know that answer.
- 1:34:03And like I said, I didn't have a wife or a fiance or nothing like
- 1:34:08that, but the guys that I were stationed with, the wives and
- 1:34:14wrote them letters and said this was it.
- 1:34:16You know, a lot of them divorced.
- 1:34:19And the ones who really went nuts, like I said, they went
- 1:34:25call it desertion, AWOL, whatever you want to call it.
- 1:34:29They got out to Bangkok and Thailand now they got out, they
- 1:34:32got out of the country. I mean, they left.
- 1:34:36It was a big deal, but it happened.
- 1:34:39I've seen a lot of that, a lot of them, Thailand, Thailand let
- 1:34:43a lot of them out through that country.
- 1:34:45Now see, I'm saying the heroes and all that, but this is the
- 1:34:49other side of it that people don't talk about.
- 1:34:52You know, I think these guys lived it.
- 1:34:55Drugs, the whole bit, everything.
- 1:34:59Yeah, So such a shame, such a shame.
- 1:35:02So, yeah. So we'll we'll make sure to ask
- 1:35:05that question. So we know people on the up and
- 1:35:07up and they know the answer. However, it's beautiful that
- 1:35:10that was then and today that's not happening.
- 1:35:13Please tell me what's not happening because that is
- 1:35:16segregation at its finest. And well, yeah.
- 1:35:23You know my unit, where I was when I got assigned to the base,
- 1:35:29I worked with colored guys. I didn't have a problem.
- 1:35:33But listen, let's be honest. We got back to the barracks.
- 1:35:37We got back to the barracks. They had their domain.
- 1:35:40You had your domain. I don't care how friendly you
- 1:35:43were. I don't know what happened.
- 1:35:47It was just a split. They had their, they had their
- 1:35:50people they drank with, played cards with, and the other
- 1:35:54soldiers they did too. What can I say?
- 1:35:57For in my where I was, that was the case.
- 1:36:02That's the way it was. Well, you guys witness all of
- 1:36:06that and you're still healed enough to speak about it.
- 1:36:09That is awesome. I am so honored, so honored.
- 1:36:13Well, they say I'll probably offend a whole bunch of people
- 1:36:20by saying this. I know I will.
- 1:36:23That's OK, You're your. Son's wearing a wig so you can't
- 1:36:26go too far. My 6.
- 1:36:28But we got to get going. OK, I'll make you sure my 6 was
- 1:36:32over us. You know how?
- 1:36:36You know how wide open the sex was in Vietnam?
- 1:36:40You know how wide open it was? Yeah, I know.
- 1:36:43He jumped a water truck, went into Saigon.
- 1:36:48None of us really care. I mean, I didn't care.
- 1:36:50Nobody cared. But he jumped on a water truck,
- 1:36:53went into Saigon. He spent the night with his
- 1:36:56Mamas on. But there was one big problem.
- 1:37:00The the Kong. They were around Saigon, they
- 1:37:04were around Benoit while he was spending the night with his
- 1:37:08Mamas on a young boy about 7 years old that came in.
- 1:37:14He killed that kid. He killed, he killed the kid.
- 1:37:19And you know how and you know how he got out of it.
- 1:37:23They couldn't find the mamasan and they couldn't find the gun
- 1:37:26and he used. So he got he got it.
- 1:37:29He got a summary court martial. He got busted from E 65, two
- 1:37:35months of pay gone and he came back to work on duty and he told
- 1:37:40us that he did it. He said I did it.
- 1:37:43He said I thought he was a Kong. I killed him. 7 year old kid.
- 1:37:47They said me and a couple other guys as character witnesses.
- 1:37:53What was I going to say? He's a good guy.
- 1:37:57He never did anything to me. I wanted to get out of that
- 1:38:01place with my health. That was the smartest thing I
- 1:38:04could have did. But he told us all, he said
- 1:38:08before he even got the court martial, didn't do any time in
- 1:38:11jail, but they give him some record summary court martial
- 1:38:15bus, E54, pitcher of 24, Fiat pitcher of two months pay.
- 1:38:23That's all he got. Now that's a God honest truth.
- 1:38:27That's the other side of Vietnam.
- 1:38:30That's the other side. You got the heroes and then you
- 1:38:33got the other side. And I got to, I got to live
- 1:38:36through it all. Right.
- 1:38:38What, what a life that you got to witness and to tell that
- 1:38:42story. There's, there's so many stories
- 1:38:46from Vietnam vets that I knew somebody in Miami.
- 1:38:50God love his soul. He, he's passed now.
- 1:38:53He used to be my neighbor and his job was to take them up in a
- 1:38:58helicopter and hang them for information.
- 1:39:01If they didn't talk one at a time, they would just drop them
- 1:39:04one at a time. I'm not sure.
- 1:39:09I know someone's going to probably yell at me, but I'm not
- 1:39:12I'm not sure that's fair war game.
- 1:39:16I don't I'm I'm not I'm not. We would have to flip that.
- 1:39:22And I'm not even sure that happens today.
- 1:39:24And I know there's some things that happened with the Seals and
- 1:39:27the that are special you. Were so glad I was 18 and didn't
- 1:39:32didn't have a wife or nothing like that.
- 1:39:34I was so glad that I seen these guys going nuts.
- 1:39:38Yeah, going on drugs and stuff like that.
- 1:39:40Because their wife or their fiance had drove them there and
- 1:39:44they, the ones who couldn't get out of the country, they just
- 1:39:47went nuts. They did.
- 1:39:51Yeah, my dad will be on the show with us Friday too.
- 1:39:54Nice. I I let him talk because there's
- 1:39:58a lot of things that I am sure. These these beautiful veterans
- 1:40:03from World War 2 in Vietnam and deserts.
- 1:40:07There's there's war stories that doesn't actually have an aspect
- 1:40:13on the front of combat, but what goes on behind the scenes is
- 1:40:18just as detrimental and mentally explosive as that of which as
- 1:40:26PTSD on on the on the actual war front and some of these memories
- 1:40:31you don't want to talk about with Nixon.
- 1:40:33Politicians ask him about the LBJ jail.
- 1:40:36Just ask him about it. Some of them.
- 1:40:38Some of them might clam up and some of them might even tell you
- 1:40:41the truth. Yeah.
- 1:40:44I mean. When you said LBJ, we thought
- 1:40:46you were talking about the president.
- 1:40:47We didn't know he was talking about jail.
- 1:40:49Long been post Vietnam jail, one of the.
- 1:40:55Didn't know about it. Knew about annoyed Jane.
- 1:40:58I knew about her. Yeah.
- 1:41:00What about that one? I was a little young for that.
- 1:41:04Yeah. Wow.
- 1:41:07Well, with grace and honor, I'm going to be listening on Friday
- 1:41:10because I find you very interesting, Master Hunt.
- 1:41:14And I'm I just. I'm just.
- 1:41:20We call them Papa H just a just. A Papa HI love it.
- 1:41:24But I was, I, I got to admit I had, I got, like I said, I was
- 1:41:33there because they told me. They said somebody has to do it.
- 1:41:38Nobody wanted to be a cook. Nobody wanted to be a lonely
- 1:41:41cook. A lonely cook.
- 1:41:44They drafted me into it. They said we can't get
- 1:41:47volunteers, we've got to draft you people.
- 1:41:49There were, there were 250 of us.
- 1:41:51We were all cooks. There was one guy.
- 1:41:55They offered us all OCSI think you know what that is?
- 1:41:59Officer Candidate School. The first two weeks of training,
- 1:42:03you have to give them two more years and they put you in OCS
- 1:42:08Officer candidate School after basic.
- 1:42:11Nobody took it but one guy because they knew it was a free
- 1:42:16ride back to Vietnam. They knew it and they didn't
- 1:42:19want no part of it. Yeah.
- 1:42:22This is really way beyond the headlines.
- 1:42:24Thank you. That.
- 1:42:26I mean, this is stuff you would not hear in the headlines, so
- 1:42:30it's way beyond no. No.
- 1:42:32No, it's important because it that information would never
- 1:42:35make it back here. It it's like what went on there
- 1:42:38is kind of like Vegas. What goes on in Vegas stays in
- 1:42:41Vegas, and it is the silence that actually renders anxiety
- 1:42:46and stress. So speaking.
- 1:42:49Would you call the E6 that was over me?
- 1:42:52Would you call him a hero? Would you call him an hero?
- 1:42:57I think I would call every single person who had to put a
- 1:42:59uniform on a hero, Sir. Even a guy that kills a kid,
- 1:43:04I'm. Sorry, but there's purpose and
- 1:43:06surrender and there's not judgement on my side.
- 1:43:09I can't. I can't judge that and my heart
- 1:43:13hurts because that's a lesson that both of them are going to
- 1:43:16have to relive again. And I, I, I can't say what he
- 1:43:21did was right. I'm not saying what he did was
- 1:43:23right, but I can't sit and judge it.
- 1:43:26I wasn't. This day, because I was as in a
- 1:43:29hearing and I said he was a nice guy, you know, and didn't have a
- 1:43:35problem and I was lying through my teeth because I didn't want
- 1:43:38nothing bad to happen to me. I think I was like 3 months
- 1:43:41left. If I'd have said what I really
- 1:43:44felt, I don't know if I'd have walked away from place.
- 1:43:48That's how bad it was. Wow, and you survived
- 1:43:52beautifully. Thank Godfather.
- 1:43:54Mother God had you protected and brought you back.
- 1:43:57Well, like I said, I had no wife, no fiance, fiance.
- 1:44:03The answer to I had nothing like that.
- 1:44:05It was to be me taking care of me and the guys around me
- 1:44:09helping me. That's what I had going for me.
- 1:44:12Those guys that were married I really felt for because some of
- 1:44:16them, oh man, some of them, it drove them to drinking and it
- 1:44:20drove them to desertion. Like I said, you know
- 1:44:25politicians, ask them about the other side of it, what they say.
- 1:44:30War is ugly. I don't any part of war is ugly.
- 1:44:33And we just have to honor what our duties are and how we have
- 1:44:38to respond as our life path or our life purpose to sole
- 1:44:41purpose. And I honor every single one of
- 1:44:45you, no matter what Rd. you had to take and the stories that we
- 1:44:49hear because nobody, nobody explains how to handle tragedy.
- 1:44:56Nobody tells you how to handle anger or stress or anxiety.
- 1:45:00It is a personal choice and it's a personal go to.
- 1:45:04But as playing a victim or a martyr, that is only heightens
- 1:45:09and deepens the turmoil that rests inside of all of us.
- 1:45:14And that is one thing that these beautiful veterans and warriors,
- 1:45:18they have a lot of turmoil because of decisions that they
- 1:45:22made for self satisfying or self gratification, which gave them
- 1:45:26the courage and which gave them that that pride within what they
- 1:45:31were doing at that moment. And it's pretty sad.
- 1:45:36And This is why again, I honor, I honor every single person's
- 1:45:41story and I honor no matter what without judgement, because I
- 1:45:44can't even imagine Vietnam. I.
- 1:45:48But we, like I said, there's a good side to it too because we
- 1:45:50had our NCO clubs when you were off duty, you'd go over and
- 1:45:54drink and then, like I said, they'd bring Vietnamese bands in
- 1:45:58on the weekend and you can listen to the Vietnamese bands.
- 1:46:02We have that going for us. I have a beautiful person ISO
- 1:46:07who I I've been trying to find if anybody's listening.
- 1:46:11I have a beautiful, beautiful friend.
- 1:46:12His name is Rick Kane and he is all about the veterans every
- 1:46:16time. He doesn't care what month it
- 1:46:17is. He's all about first responders.
- 1:46:19And I can't I'm, I'm very excited to show his show here
- 1:46:23come August because he's going to be playing here in Knoebels
- 1:46:27in Pennsylvania, the park, and then he'll be playing at the big
- 1:46:29fair. And that's I'm.
- 1:46:32Sorry, hero stock. Hero stock would be his
- 1:46:36introducing would be his pitch to get to the USO because the
- 1:46:41USO, they partner with Jason Steiner.
- 1:46:46So then please pass me the information because I know that
- 1:46:49we gave him the forms, we gave him the link.
- 1:46:55So, but I, I need, I need him because he supports no matter
- 1:47:00what. And I told him in doing the
- 1:47:03interview when he and I asked him for the interview and he's
- 1:47:07busy and he honored by giving me the interview.
- 1:47:10So I honored by saying, I'm not going to let it die.
- 1:47:12I'm going to figure out how to get you there for our men and
- 1:47:15our women who support our country like you support them.
- 1:47:19So I'm, I'm going to figure it out.
- 1:47:20I'm going to. Well, yeah.
- 1:47:23We gotta go. My my Roy Borealis is coming up,
- 1:47:25man. I'm glad I met both of you.
- 1:47:29Yeah, nice to meet you. It's great to talk to you and
- 1:47:31hear your stories. Yes, I cannot wait for Friday.
- 1:47:35I'm so joy to have him back. What a who?
- 1:47:38I'm going to. I'm going.
- 1:47:39To OK, OK, maybe you can have matching dreads.
- 1:47:46Yeah, no. No.
- 1:47:46Why aren't you old school for that?
- 1:47:55Well, maybe you want to wear pants and he'll wear the wig.
- 1:47:57Get those empty hammer pants out.
- 1:48:00He's not a white chocolate. Enough far do I get is the
- 1:48:06temptations. I like them.
- 1:48:08Oh, we'll play your razors for you.
- 1:48:10We'll get those on there. Temptations and spinners, you
- 1:48:15know, you might not know any of those.
- 1:48:17Oh I know 4 tops is in there too.
- 1:48:19There you go. There you go.
- 1:48:22I like them Mamas and the Papas, you know.
- 1:48:25An airplane. Perry Como Well, that's.
- 1:48:30It's OK I guess, if you want to get drunk.
- 1:48:34My my dad's favorite was the Tijuana brass there.
- 1:48:37You go. Tijuana brass sounds.
- 1:48:40Like he was close to my generation.
- 1:48:43He was 1939, my mother was 1941. What?
- 1:48:47My mom still is 1941. I don't want to counsel her out
- 1:48:50yet. 39 Well, yeah, a little old but still isn't bad.
- 1:48:56They were at the end of the baby boomers, I think.
- 1:48:59Yes, as I said, my my grandparents, both my
- 1:49:03grandparents brothers were in World War One and we lost them
- 1:49:06in World War 1. OK, OK.
- 1:49:13We what? I was I was telling them we got
- 1:49:17a message from my wife dinner. We've got to go now because she
- 1:49:22told you that. That's right, dinner.
