Jackie Arnold is officially cancer-free, thanks to the unwavering support of her late son Clayton—whose spirit guided her through treatment and still whispers encouragement. To honor his legacy, she launched the Clayton Arnold Foundation, now hosting a kayaking 5K on the Licking River this Saturday to celebrate her victory and fund local kids’ holiday joy. Paddling for purpose, participants (ages 15+ pay $30, kids 14 and under $15) get a t-shirt and join a community that helps over 100 children each year.
