Flint Honors Leaders for Refugee Support | Flint News
Flint’s Jewish Federation honored three local heroes at their 35th annual Donald Riegle Community Service Awards—Clara Blakely, Saroja Reddy, and Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton—for their tireless work uplifting the community. Named after Senator Riegle, a champion of justice and immigrant rights, the event also raised funds to support refugees and immigrants in Genesee County with critical services like case management and social support—proving that recognition and action go hand in hand to build a more inclusive Flint.
