- 0:00You know, you remember the dating life, Amanda, there's times where you
- 0:02just feel like just defeated, you know, just to think you got a
- 0:06good one, nap. But have you ever considered this? One woman has
- 0:09found love in an unconventional way when she married a rag doll. Now you
- 0:14might have heard of this lady, Amanda, Is it the same one?
- 0:17Well, as far as I know, she's the only one. I'm married
- 0:21to a rag doll. Okay, so I do recall there was a lady
- 0:25who married a rag doll. I feel like she had a baby, but
- 0:28also they broke up. Well they're back together. Her name is Mayra Vone.
- 0:32She's thirty seven, and after being exhausted of trying to find a good
- 0:35man, her mom, of all people, stepped into help and she created
- 0:39I forgot about that. Marcello, the rag doll who literally created this rag
- 0:45doll for her. Not a bad looking dude, even by rag doll standards.
- 0:51Well, the love started when they had their first child. Now Marcellino
- 0:56is the name of the little rag doll baby that lasted thirdwenty five minutes that
- 1:00pregnancy. She gave birth, but she said largely pain free. I can
- 1:03imagine to Marcelina. If there was pain, I'd be really concerned as to
- 1:08what happened. Well, here's the exciting news, Amanda. She's now pregnant
- 1:12again with her second child. I thought they broke up. I did cheat
- 1:17on her. They all good relationships. Gotta go through it some hard times,
- 1:21you know. I suppose you gotta break up a time or two,
- 1:23a nice rough patch the rag doll had. Now it's exciting because they are
- 1:26pregnant with the second child. But going back to some of the issues they
- 1:30were having, you know, she said, uh, my ravone that Marcello
- 1:34is just such a strapping man that when they would go out, he would
- 1:38start catching looks from a lot of other ladies obviously very interested in Marcello.
- 1:42I bet there was a lot of looks. I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:45If I was sitting at a bar and Marcello got drug in, I'd
- 1:49be like, who dad. My husband might even give him a peak.
- 1:53No, no, not you, the rag doll wif the one stuffed with
- 1:57pillows this way, No not you, the one stitched together like a pillow.
- 2:12What a man? What a man? Well that was good for everybody
- 2:16else. If you have no idea what we're talking about. I'm so sorry.
- 2:20She said that she had to take matters into her own hands because so
- 2:23many other women were interested in Marcelo. So what she did was she was
- 2:25able to detach his uh you know, the thing that makes him a real
- 2:30man, a male, a male rag doll. Detach it just pops right
- 2:35off, she said, basically what it was, it was a rubber attachment
- 2:38that she's able to just take off. I'm starting to understand a little bit
- 2:40here, but okay, got it. So she said, before they go
- 2:44out, she would just take yeahm off. Well draw very distracting if a
- 2:50man, because it does marcel wear a lot of clothes or no, Marcelo,
- 2:53Marcello does Marcelo. He was pants, you know, like any man's.
- 2:58Just it was just very visible. It was the problem. There was
- 3:01no high Marcella. It was I wasn't tucked in them jeans. Not leaving
- 3:06much to the imagination, she didn't even specify that it was sixteen centimeters in
- 3:12length, which it says. The rough translation to the American inch is what
- 3:15six Okay, well, you know in the morning, big naty eight point
- 3:23seven, you want suspect a thing when you hear that telephone room by friend,
- 3:30fucking this lesson by friend sunny, you don't see figs fresh, Mandy,
- 3:38you can relate to this one, I bet because this woman apparently microwaves
- 3:42a lot of stinky things at the office, something I've been famous for over
- 3:45the years. Yeah, just this morning, some rusty sausage. Well I
- 3:51don't know why rusty it was, but the word rusty, but it's it's
- 3:54stanky, boy, it's stanky. Well, this woman works at an office
- 3:59where she's been getting a hard time because I'm warming up a lot of I
- 4:00guess tuna, wait, warming egg tuna. Yeah, so they wanted to
- 4:05mess there. This is the least we can do. Sounds very deserving.
- 4:09Put my HR hat on. Okay, Hello, Hi is this Shaley?
- 4:17Yes, Hi Shaley gus chickens down at corporate HR. You got a second
- 4:23to speak to me quick? Oh sure, Yeah. We just wanted to
- 4:26let you know that you're coming paycheck This Fridays gonna be a little lighter than
- 4:30more to the normal in light of the recent breakroom situation. What what are
- 4:38you talking about? What breakroom? Well, we got reports about the stinky
- 4:42egg and tuna smell that's been plagging the office down there at their Fargo branch,
- 4:46And well, it's been determined that that entire building is gonna need to
- 4:50be steam cleaned, you know, to get that stench out of there,
- 4:54that obviously you were responsible for. The cameras have shown, and so we're
- 4:58gonna take that right out of your paycheck. Make it real easy. You
- 5:00don't have to worry about, you know, running a credit card or anything.
- 5:02We'll just take it out of the check. So just wanted to let
- 5:04you know. Okay, no, wait a minute, that makes no sense.
- 5:09First of all, there's no no rule that says you can't make tuna
- 5:13and eggs in the breakroom. Well, actually, Shaley, there is a
- 5:16rule. I have it right here. Actually, Employee Handbook Code sixty nine
- 5:23point four to two zero explicitly says that food quote beyond a reasonable stench shall
- 5:30not be warmed up in company quarters, including but not limited to eggs,
- 5:33rotilapia, tuna. Well, I mean two of the first three things there
- 5:38is what you warmed up. So okay, you say that this is ridiculous.
- 5:43It's ridiculous, now, Shaley, is not ridiculous. I mean,
- 5:46you're not getting fired you're still getting your paycheck. It's just going to be,
- 5:49you know, well, three hundred dollars less than normally. What stock
- 5:55three hundred dollars? What were you thinking when you warmed up that tuna and
- 5:59eggs milk? That's what I was thinking, a tuna melt. Wait a
- 6:02minute, this is crazy. I'm not. I'm not. You're not taking
- 6:06three hundred dollars out of my check. You gotta be insane. Okay?
- 6:11What what's your name again? Gus Chickens down at HR Corporately, cos it's
- 6:18not important. It's about you in the microwave eggs, Gus Chickens. Okay,
- 6:25so okay, what's my last name? Your last name? Yes,
- 6:30you're calling to take money out of my check? So what's my last name?
- 6:34Yeah? That's a that's right, that's hippo. That's a hippo of
- 6:38I'm not allowed to disclose that information. You're not allowed to tell me my
- 6:42own last name. She got you? You after this? Who will put
- 6:48you after this? I say it was your coworkers. Who are the ones
- 6:53who had to put up with the obviously stanky eggs in tuna that you whipped
- 6:57up in the breakro It wasn't that bad. Oh my gosh, I'm not
- 7:02the worst one in the Okay, they are terrible. That's oh my god.
- 7:10That's like a fun place to work though. We got a message from
- 7:13well Caitlin specifically, but she said on behalf of all of your coworkers who've
- 7:15been giving you a hard time about the stank of the break room. They
- 7:18wanted us to mess with you a little bit. So there you go.
- 7:23Well they got me you clean the whole building. Oh my god, like
- 7:29and Amanda in the morning on SIG seven trending. Now here's what you need
- 7:35to know. Well, this is awesome. Ahead of Veterans Day, area
- 7:40students are doing something sweet for local veterans, active military members, and first
- 7:43responders. The fourth grade Gifted and Talented students at Lewis and Clark Elementary School
- 7:47built up more than one hundred care packages with candy. So they did a
- 7:50candy drive all the way up through yesterday and then on Veterans Day, the
- 7:55student mentors will deliver the packages and letters to the VA Hospital in Fargo,
- 8:00Go Air, National Guard based local fire stations, police stations, and EMT
- 8:03station. That's really nice. Good job cares as much as the candy is
- 8:07probably awesome for the veterans, but those letters, that's gotta be awesome.
- 8:09Youah sure read those thank you cards from little kids? I know I love
- 8:13it. Way to go, guys, and this is a bummer. Governor
- 8:18Burgham failed to make the cut for the third Republican presidential debate, which is
- 8:22tomorrow night in Miami. So I think there's down to five of them that
- 8:24are going to be on there. Looks like President Trump is doing his own
- 8:28thing once again, but Burgham not giving up. He released a statement on
- 8:31Twitter yesterday saying skipping the next debate isn't going to stop us. I've been
- 8:35told it's impossible my entire life and always beat the odds. They told me
- 8:41I couldn't build a tech company in North Dakota Memory Belt. We all said
- 8:45that. We're like, there's no way you could build a tech company in
- 8:48North Dakota. Don't recall that one. I don't either. He said,
- 8:50we built a billion dollar one. They told me I wouldn't be governor.
- 8:54We won by forty points. You gotta love the lack of quit in the
- 8:58guy. Yeah, Now, DC in siters are trying to stop me from
- 9:01fighting for you, it's not gonna work. Party bosses don't pick presidents,
- 9:05voters do. Mike drop Bergham. I like how he said the phrase skip
- 9:11the next debate. It's like, you can't really skip it if you're not
- 9:13invited. It's like remember skipping your friend's birthday party that you were invited to.
- 9:20I didn't want to go anyway. And Jimmy Kimble, he is set
- 9:22to reveal People's Sexiest Man Alive tonight and last year was Chris Evans. Kind
- 9:28of going through the list. They have doubled up in the past, so
- 9:31Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, they've all been in a couple
- 9:33of times. They've been doing this since nineteen eighty five, and we've been
- 9:37kind of putting in our votes. I'll lose my mind if it's Pete Davidson.
- 9:41I don't get that. That's not my He's not my jam. I'm
- 9:45feeling like it's gonna be I didn't see any sports figures whatsoever or athletes.
- 9:50So could he on the list? Yeah, yeah, I could. I
- 9:52don't think there's any parables because Travis Kelce for me would be uh an option.
- 9:56He's hot right now. Uh huh, yeah. I mean I'm trying
- 10:01to think of who the hot young thing is these days. Like, I
- 10:03don't know if he is so young, that's just it. Well, yeah,
- 10:07I mean George Clooney's won even his Gray Fox years. Oh yeah,
- 10:11Idris elba one the other year he was a little older. See. I
- 10:15was wondering if it would be perhaps Mark Kenswelo's Kelly Rippa's husband, just because
- 10:20they're on the show together. Now, I don't think he's famous enough.
- 10:24You know who it could be is that new bachelor, the good the old
- 10:26Dolts, My gosh, Jerry, that would be. I mean, hey,
- 10:31guy's a good looking dude. The world is loving some Jerry. Yeah.
- 10:33Have you been watching that? I've been in and out. My wife
- 10:37will have it on the TV every once a while when I'm around, And
- 10:39you know, I don't know. Is he fun? Is he nice?
- 10:41Have we found out anything horrible about him? No, he had to have
- 10:43committed some heinous crust day fun. He's nice. He's just like that all
- 10:46American man. Oh. How many trips of the Fantasy Suite so far?
- 10:52Nothing? But he is doing a lot of kissing, is he really?
- 10:56I know, last week it was super odd. Sorry I'll digress here in
- 10:58a second. But he kept He's told a couple other ladies he loves them.
- 11:01But the only thing is is with the we're not talking about the fact
- 11:07that the grandkids are around and they're doing that. Like these poor grandkids are
- 11:11like, oh, this is my new grandpa and then he's gonna break their
- 11:13hearts. So usually, you know, it's like a scantily clad young woman
- 11:18and there's no kids involved in it. Now we're talking about grandchildren. I
- 11:22know. You know what the kids need to learn, Amanda. You don't
- 11:24get everything you want in life. That's really the big lesson. Oh gosh,
- 11:28all right, weatherwy. Today it's gonna be cloudy, high forty one
- 11:31slide, chance of some morning showers. That could get a little icy on
- 11:33the road. To take a little extra time. Otherwise tomorrow we could hit
- 11:37fifty. Turn it out like a man in the morning on big Nutty eight
- 11:43point seven. Maybe you're a parent of a four year old daughter, right,
- 11:46yeah, yeah, you got a four year old Sydney. Well,
- 11:48I want to know what you think about this lady. She's gone viral on
- 11:50TikTok of all places, because she went out with a list of the hard
- 11:54nose when it comes to dressing her daughter. For example, she starts out
- 11:58by saying, bikinis and two piece swimsuits. No, absolutely not. This
- 12:03is her list of no nos when it comes to dressing her daughter. Oh,
- 12:05I break all those rules you think you're gonna break all these are just
- 12:09the bikini one. The bikini one. And I guess probably at four years
- 12:13old, we're at that borderline. She's still just a little girl. Cute,
- 12:16you can wear a bikini, do your thing. Body image for me
- 12:20is we don't discos. I mean, she's just a cute little girl,
- 12:24you know what I mean? And she got her swimsuit. I mean,
- 12:26do you get where the lady's coming from? Or is this kind of nonsense
- 12:30to you? I think the older you get, maybe feeling a little bit
- 12:33more like, hey it's risque, or maybe you shouldn't be wearing that,
- 12:37But you think it's sort of like a bell curve, like it doesn't matter
- 12:39when you're young, and then kind of gets it and then there might go
- 12:41through a stage. Yes, absolutely right. This woman also says, no
- 12:46miniature high heels. Our little kids wearing high heels. I don't think so
- 12:52I mean I've seen actually you try to walk in high heels. Yeah,
- 12:54right, let alone a four year old. She has like her princess dress
- 12:58up shoes, and that's comical, like her trying to like walk in them
- 13:01when she dresses up as like an ulcer or something just up. She just
- 13:03sounds like a broken ankle, you know, in the making. She also
- 13:07says no nail polish for her four year old daughter. She said, that's
- 13:11a hard note. Not until anyway she's maybe I don't know, seven or
- 13:15eight. She's never gone. This will shock you to get a professional petty
- 13:20or manny. But we just had her at the salon, didn't you.
- 13:24But that was hair Haircutah, she got her first haircut at four, Like
- 13:28that was her first haircut, which has been growing this whole time. Yeah,
- 13:31I'm interested that. My best friend who owns a hair salon's like,
- 13:35we're gonna need to trim that hair here, like okay, gotcha. It's
- 13:39always so cute to see though, And she did well. Did she enjoy
- 13:41and kids cry loved the experience. Our nephew, Theo, who is three,
- 13:48he just got his first haircut. He had, like, you know,
- 13:50a lot of little boys, there's the shaggy little boy, hairy,
- 13:52super cute, and then you give him a haircut and they age fifteen years.
- 13:56It's insane. Do you remember Briggs? I mean he has had a
- 14:00long some more mistaking him for a girl for a long time because his hair
- 14:03was super long, and it killed me to get his haircut. The second
- 14:07I did. He looked like he was five and he struggles getting his haircut.
- 14:11And I get for boys just because the shaving more, you know,
- 14:16by the ears and stuff. Where is a girl? Oh yeah, it's
- 14:18you know, usually just a trim with the long hair. Yeah, even
- 14:20as an adult, it gets a little scary. You ever had your ear
- 14:24nicked by a little clippers? No, traumatizing, traumatizing, That's why you
- 14:28go to men's hair company. That's right. I've never been clipped there once.
- 14:31No, we actually brought Briggs there once and that was a good experience.
- 14:33I'm like, Okay, this is how it should be. But then
- 14:35again, I mean I've clipped myself too with the clippers. Yeah. Not
- 14:39going to get into the nitty gritty of the details, gotcha. The nail
- 14:43polish thing that can be a real day ruin. Nick actually paints her nails
- 14:48every once in a while, just a great dad. I struggle staying in
- 14:52the lines. I have zero patients. I don't even paint my own nails,
- 14:56Like, yes, just run a big paint brush over her hands if
- 15:00you want it done. I have no issue with that. I the final
- 15:01one that this mom on TikTok. She's gone bio for saying she will not
- 15:05dress her four year old daughter in these things. The last one crop tops.
- 15:09Yeah, in the summertime, Sid has a couple of she calls them
- 15:11belly shirts, and there's a border. I liked how you use the bell
- 15:16curve. There's gonna come a point where no, like right now, she
- 15:20usually doesn't wear that to school or daycare or anything like that, but there
- 15:24will come a point she starts kindergarten next year. Of course, I'm not
- 15:28gonna have my daughter in crop tops kindergartens. Tough, look, I will.
- 15:31I am in second grade, whatever age you are. Then. I
- 15:35remember we were in gym class and one of the girls took their shirts off
- 15:37and was just wearing a bra, like she just had no idea that that
- 15:39was like an undergarment or whatever. It was just and I remember the teacher
- 15:43just being traumatized. Oh my god, Goti, put that back on.
- 15:46Put that back on. I will tell you sid is for. And she
- 15:50hung out with my nieces towards the end of summer and they had just started
- 15:54to worry kind of wearing training bras. So now her whole thing is is
- 15:58I need to wear a mom, I need a bra. No, you
- 16:03don't. You're four. You're four, and girl, trusts me, You're
- 16:07not gonna be wanting to wear a bra. So a lot of people aren't.
- 16:08I mean, by the time she's an adult, I mean, the
- 16:11way it's going, Amanda, you might be one of the last great broad
- 16:15generations. Like a man in the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven,
- 16:21you're ready, ready, that's he is piping hot today. No, Amanda
- 16:26stills the sea looks. See. Well, every celebrity right now is writing
- 16:32a book. And Megan Fox is writing a book of poems. It's titled
- 16:36Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. And I think somebody needs to have a little chat
- 16:40with her. She's had a rough go in relationships and she says poisonous.
- 16:44No, that's why you got your You gotta find yourself an ugly man.
- 16:48Ask my wife. Nothing poisonous about us. Jeez, Pike, you're not
- 16:52ugly. I'm just being a little self deprecating. Yeah, I don't like
- 16:55it. I don't like it, Amanda, we work together. You know
- 16:56it's not going to happen. Okay, just settle down. I'm good by.
- 17:03I've got a pretty boyant he's not poisonous, so I'm up against him.
- 17:07Wow. Megan Fox doesn't have no idea, she asked anybody. I
- 17:10think what she means to say is bad guys are poisonous. Just stop dating
- 17:14bad guys and you'll be shocked. Well that's the result. The breaking news
- 17:18for me here is that Megan Fox is still with MGK. They are engaged.
- 17:22I had no idea. I thought that was a long gone But she
- 17:25goes on to say relationships are complicated. I can agree that is that can
- 17:29happen for most of us. It's not a fairy tale. Sometimes you go
- 17:33down that route. Relationships are not pretty, they're ugly. Sometimes they are
- 17:37a war. And that's where she lost me. We need to sit down
- 17:41with her. Relationships are a lot of work. They can they can be
- 17:45difficult. There's going to be trying times. But if you're at war with
- 17:48the person you're in love with. That might be a that might be a
- 17:52red flag. Yeah I feel like that. Uh that again, going back
- 17:56to the bad guy thing. Not to say MGK is a bad guy,
- 17:59but he sure seems like Yeah, I don't know, but I mean,
- 18:00they really had the time in the sun. It seemed like every day there
- 18:03was a new annoying thing where they were drinking each other's blood or dressing like
- 18:07vampires. She was trying to be that couple. It had to have been
- 18:11exhausting. She just feels like she doesn't quite know what she wants at this
- 18:17point, you know what I mean. I don't like it. I would
- 18:18like to say, you know, worse things about her, But as somebody
- 18:22who had her poster in our freshman dorm room at MSUM, you know,
- 18:26she kind of always has a special place in my heart, Like you just
- 18:27want her to find love. That's what I want. Yeah, God,
- 18:30gu's what we used to look. We look up at her post and just
- 18:33dream about her falling in love to somebody else. Nailed it. I couldn't
- 18:41wait for my roommate to leave the dorm so I could just think about it.
- 18:45Did not think that it was a good idea to have his friend's character
- 18:48Chandler cheat on Monica. He rejected the idea with the show's writers, and
- 18:53they had it all planned out and it just didn't happen. It came close.
- 18:57I remember the one girl trying to sway him into a little rendezvous,
- 19:02but you know he was strut to happen. It does annoy me though it's
- 19:04a show. You're the actor, just act. The writers get to decide
- 19:08what the storyline is. Wow, you're yelling to Matthew Perry. I know
- 19:11I hate and I'm not speaking ill of him. I'm just saying I mean,
- 19:15yeah, you can feel how you want about it, but at the
- 19:17end of the day, you're getting paid to do a job, which is
- 19:19act. If you want to write your own character, well then write your
- 19:22own show. Yeez. Well if you want more Matthew Perry. It looks
- 19:26like we have some behind the scenes footage that's going to be on VH one
- 19:30tonight. They are set to honor him in a specially called Matthew Perry Life
- 19:33and Legacy. And I guess Matthew Perry was very eager to make a movie
- 19:37about his life. Before his death, he wanted zac Efron to play him.
- 19:41Interesting, Yeah, so that's could be happening. But didn't you say
- 19:45that he Matthew Perry played zac Efron in a movie, yes, in seventeen.
- 19:48Again. Oh, they have a good relationship. We're also finding out
- 19:52a little bit more about how everybody is handling the situation. Where told Jennifer
- 19:56Aniston's friends are very worried about well, worried about our beak because she's just
- 20:00taking it very hard. Not only is she struggling because he passed away.
- 20:06Also, this is a second massive loss she's had in her life. Her
- 20:08dad died almost a year ago to the date, So that's coming up.
- 20:11That's unfortunate. You know, it's sad, but it's reality, you know,
- 20:15right, Haley Ara Sewer. It starts back up again this weekend.
- 20:21So Taylor Swift is going to be out of the football situation. She's going
- 20:25to be doing her thing. But right before she decided to leave town,
- 20:30she thought, I'm going to have a viewing party with the girls from the
- 20:33Chiefs. So we found out about Saturday night. We had talked about that.
- 20:36Britnan, Ma Holmes and Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, They were all
- 20:38out, and about Sunday morning, she had some of the chiefs wives at
- 20:44her house for a viewing party because the boys were playing in Germany, so
- 20:47probably a little brunch with Taylor. How do you feel about that, Well,
- 20:51it's annoying to me, I'll be honest, because first of all,
- 20:53if you're like a wife that's been there, done that, you know,
- 20:56kind of since day one, and then you got this new girl coming in
- 20:59trying to throw watch parties, I think naturally you're gonna be a little annoyble
- 21:03trying too hard. Yeah, I think she's trying to put her time in
- 21:04now because she knows she's got to go overseas, so she's trying to get
- 21:07in because she's the type of girl she's gotta be in. She gotta be
- 21:10part of the club. As much as she sings about like the opposite of
- 21:14that king that, it always feels like she's starting to create clicks in a
- 21:18way. Yeah, which is very odd, but it'll be interesting. We
- 21:22do know that Travis Kelce is doing his best to try to go to some
- 21:26of her stuff across the seas. She is not going to probably be able
- 21:29to make it back for a football game. There's that unless they make it
- 21:33to the super Bowl and somehow she makes that work. I guess I haven't
- 21:36looked that far ahead in her schedule, but I hope they make it work.
- 21:38And if anything, that's good. You know how it is with the
- 21:41relationship. You come in hot, you're super super excited, then to take
- 21:45a little bit of time to make sure that it's real, but you still
- 21:48spend some good quality time when you can. Yeah, I hope it works
- 21:52out too, Amanda. I really I'm not trying to hate on the situation,
- 21:53but if you're Travis Kelcey, you gotta be a little concerned with Taylor
- 21:56going over to the UK because for skinny British boy, she talks dudes,
- 22:02you can fall in love. I'm teased. I'm horsing around. No,
- 22:04but every guy she's been with has always been right. Some guy from the
- 22:08UK, hang on a secon, it's been a minute, give me that
- 22:11horse, nah. I hope Taylor won't be What talk about a plot twist?
- 22:17If Taylor turns out to the be the girl she's never wanted to be,
- 22:19and all of a sudden she cheats on Travis Kelcey and that's the American
- 22:23sweetheart. That'd be so confusing. I wouldn't know what to do. It
- 22:26would be Kim and Kanye would like it. Yeah, y, it's like
- 22:30it a minute in the morning. Come on, get up on big breaking
- 22:37news, Amanda. Residents of one city are outraged as recently, you know,
- 22:45with the recent snow fallen a lot of cold weather cities, snow sculptures
- 22:51have been appearing all over the town that seem to resemble a certain body part
- 22:57of a male, like all over town, dozens of sculptures, and these
- 23:03are giant. Okay, if that makes it worse, I don't know.
- 23:07Now is it noticeable or does it look like as though there's just like towers
- 23:14just you know, are they are they grain silos or are they yeah?
- 23:18Exactly and where are they showing up all? So, for example, I
- 23:21have a few photos here that were taken by the concerned residents. One directly
- 23:25on the hood of a car. Imagine you leave your car in a parking
- 23:27lot all day, you come out after work, boom, you got a
- 23:32giant sculpture of a man. Okay, so do you remember and everybody said
- 23:36it was in Grand Forks, But do you remember that holiday photos that probably
- 23:40surfaced about six years ago. So you know certain towns, a lot of
- 23:44small towns, yeah, put up decorations on their main street and it looked
- 23:48like, yeah, it was kind of like a like a tall like missiletoey
- 23:52looking thing, but it had two circles and then when it lit up it
- 23:57was yes, it looks like a male body part, right, and a
- 24:03lot of people said that was in Grand Forks or whatever. It went viral.
- 24:07This though, is totally totally on purpose. Well, it seems intentional.
- 24:10And again, if you look at these sculpture here, at this particular
- 24:12one that was erected on the hood of a car, it's there's no mistake
- 24:17in it, all right. This is not an accident. This isn't a
- 24:18oh just pile the snow up. Oh, it kind of looks like a
- 24:22cylinder. No, no, no, there are defined ridges. Oh yeah,
- 24:26yeah, a real artiste we have on our hand now. Concerned residents
- 24:30of this city have signed a petition. They're trying to get law enforcement involved.
- 24:33It leads a question is it illegal, is it a crime or I
- 24:38mean, listen, people love snow men. I mean, if you're writing
- 24:42on somebody's car, like you shouldn't be touching people's vehicles, so that feels
- 24:47like a crime. But the road put you we put this, is there
- 24:51enough snow outside right now? Or is it all melted? As you know,
- 24:53I would totally do this, of course you would. People who know
- 24:57me, uh, and I hate this aman really I'm trying to shed this
- 25:02like sort of image. But people who know me associate me with this sort
- 25:06of thing. I would find an offense. I would get a chuckle for
- 25:10a second and then it's like, nah, you gotta kick her down.
- 25:15I just laugh for a second. But then we just kicked the top off
- 25:18or something and make it a little unrecognizable now. I mean as a kid,
- 25:22we uh you know, remember like art class when you would start working
- 25:25with clay. I mean that was like heaven for me that I just had
- 25:27a heyday with it. And we used to you know, we'd make we
- 25:32would make our own little clay project and then we would take it to the
- 25:34next class and before the teacher got in there, we would go up and
- 25:37stick it on the whiteboard. The teacher comes in, it's boom hanging down
- 25:45from the whiteboard. Yeah, I know, really fatistic stuff. Written an
- 25:47apology letter to the entire staff at DGF. I feel like you need to
- 25:52no, no, I do, I will. I will not apologize.
- 25:56I do understand why you've been banned from the school. Now who to say,
- 26:00I'm not the uh, the the corporate, the culprit planning these snow
- 26:04sculptures around this down, You're not You're not. I yeah, I don't
- 26:10like it. I have to explain that to my children. You don't think
- 26:15your son breaks is gonna grow up doing the same thing. You don't think
- 26:18so well, we do have an issue. He is still he still what
- 26:22he So We've been potty training the dog, and so I'll be like,
- 26:27hey, can you go outside and grab like you know, we're we take
- 26:30turns, also the responsibility, and my son still just thinks it's okay and
- 26:33to go to the bathroom outside. Oh well, didn't you just tell me
- 26:37yesterday that your son got in trouble at daycare because he was showing off his
- 26:41own snow sculptures. Trouble. He just walked out of the bathroom. And
- 26:45I found out from another parent that I was at an event over the weekend
- 26:49and she's like, yeah, my daughter came home and said I saw a
- 26:56private part and I was like, whoa what and then she said, yeah,
- 27:00Sidney's little brother just walked out. He just needed a little bit of
- 27:04help. So it was an innocent situation. You told me. He came
- 27:08home and he was proud of it. He's like, Mommy, guess what
- 27:11I did. Okay, we are We're three years away from Amanda some Briggs
- 27:17being the snow sculpture guy here in four. Can't wait Amanda in the morning
- 27:22on Big seven, you know, I was talking to a friend and they
- 27:26were asking how much money I made, which immediately You're like, what really,
- 27:30what was the content person? We're in the same industry, you know,
- 27:34so it was just like really, you know. But then there's this
- 27:37whole generation of people who think that people should be discussing how much money they
- 27:41make, especially when you work for the same place, because it feels so
- 27:45tabooed to me that you just never ask that question. It's none of your
- 27:49business. Everybody has their own maybe contract deal, whatever it may be,
- 27:55and that feels weird to me. Yeah, I mean, listen, there
- 27:57is a point to be made for the other side, because companies, then
- 28:00the kind of thinking is that they're able to underpay people if everyone else continues
- 28:06to not want to talk about it, because then they don't realize, like,
- 28:08you know, what they're worth is if John tom over here is making
- 28:14x amount and you were doing the same thing and suddenly you realize you're twenty
- 28:17grand shorted whatever name I just made up, John Schmann. But don't you
- 28:22also feel like that is a personal thing where you you learn to grow.
- 28:26You have to take the I guess bowl by the horns and go and ask
- 28:30for a raise or go and have those conversations and know you're worth other than
- 28:34that. Yeah, people are just gonna well, it's a heck of a
- 28:37negotiating tool. If you know how much somebody else is making and they're doing
- 28:41the same thing, that's probably you're just gonna lead with that, like,
- 28:44hey, this guy's making this much, I'm doing the exact same thing,
- 28:47so I don't know it or even worse, you think you're doing better or
- 28:49more work than John Schlam. Yeah, but fifty percent I found this interesting.
- 28:55Fifty percent of millennials, so people of our age ish Amanda, don't
- 28:59mind discussing salary at work, compared to Baby boomers, for example, who
- 29:03largely think discussing salaries should remain private. Yeah, I guess I'm more on
- 29:07the This is painful. Sorry baby boomers, but I'm I'm jumping off the
- 29:12millennial. I'm such a boomer. I want to know what you think,
- 29:15though, Should you discuss how much money you make with coworkers? Seven oh
- 29:18one two eight zero one ninety eight seven would love a call. You can
- 29:21also text us. You can comment on our big ninety eight point seven Facebook
- 29:23page where people seem to be torn down the middle amandah. Yeah, we
- 29:26have one of our top fans on Facebook, Jen saying never, you just
- 29:30don't do it. Actually, quite a few people saying no, And there
- 29:36are a few one here that are saying absolutely. The taboo about not discussing
- 29:41salaries makes it easier for a company to manipulate people. Like you had mentioned,
- 29:44Megan is chiming in on that, there's a lot of people who are
- 29:45liking that. What's what's more likely though, that the companies are using that
- 29:49to manipulate you or is it just going to cause more issues among the morale?
- 29:55Right? If you know how much every like if everybody had to walk
- 29:56around with their salary taped to their forehead, I mean, wouldn't that just
- 30:00make everything just miserable, you know what I mean, everybody? You would
- 30:03start to resent people. But you're right, man, it's totally up to
- 30:07you to get what you think you're worth and get as much as you possibly
- 30:10can. You know, it has nothing to do with what somebody else was
- 30:14able to do or any right, And I guess every industry is probably a
- 30:17little bit different. If you're working as a server, you're doing that,
- 30:21but that's also another thing. You're working hard for your tips. So if
- 30:23you're getting more tips, y'all worked harder for them. Well that's a little
- 30:26and or exception, right. But if we're both a mailman or woman or
- 30:30what do we call him, letter carriers. If we're both a letter carrier
- 30:33and we've been working there at the same time, it's like, well,
- 30:36we're doing about the same thing. You know, probably be getting paid about
- 30:38the same thing. And I think some jobs are pretty uh cut and dry.
- 30:41This is the salary, this is where it is. You earn it,
- 30:45you get the bonus you do that. But different businesses have different pay
- 30:48structures, bonus structures, all of that. Either way, I've always just
- 30:52been very uncomfortable having that conversation. Yeah, just because you're right, I
- 30:56don't want to know if somebody is making more than me, if I feel
- 31:00as though I'm working harder, or and spoiler, everybody pretty much feels like
- 31:03they're better and more valuable than everybody else, right, or if you are
- 31:07that person. I don't want to hurt somebody's feelings going, hey, actually
- 31:10I'm doing that, but earned it, and I'm just kidding, right,
- 31:14yeah, just kidding. All right, So that said exactly before taxes,
- 31:18Amanda, how much are you pulling? Thirty two ninety nine a month
