- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, the Panthers don't have to stew as long about
- 0:02Speaker 1: their Week 7 performance. They are on the road for
- 0:05Speaker 1: Thursday night football, hoping to find a way back over
- 0:08Speaker 1: the 500 mark after being obliterated at home at the
- 0:12Speaker 1: hands of a one-win team.
- 0:14Speaker 2: The extra point is blocked, and it ends up in
- 0:16Speaker 2: the hands of McCollum for Tampa Bay.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Packers also have to try and bounce back Big Sean style,
- 0:23Speaker 1: fell to 4-3. No one is talking smack right now
- 0:27Speaker 1: in Titletown, USA.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It's no good! He pushed it right! What is going
- 0:32Speaker 3: on in Detroit? This is crazy.
- 0:34Speaker 1: That was Trey's seventh miss of the season, two of
- 0:37Speaker 1: them point after attempts. No one is going to miss
- 0:40Speaker 1: him much if he's not called upon to hit anything
- 0:42Speaker 1: important this week. Green Bay got Josh Jacobs back, but
- 0:46Speaker 1: he did nothing to spark any kind of rush attack.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Only 36 yards on 3.3 a run. Packers with just
- 0:51Speaker 1: 60 rush yards. have to hope he was rusty. They
- 0:56Speaker 1: went one for four in the red zone, five for
- 0:58Speaker 1: 15 on third down, only 17 points versus a defense
- 1:02Speaker 1: that had allowed 29 points per game before they met.
- 1:05Speaker 4: In trouble.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Backpedal throws. There's nobody there. Oh, there is somebody there.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It's a lion.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Jordan Love with back-to-back sub-85 rate games. has thrown an
- 1:15Speaker 1: INT in four of his last five games. None of
- 1:18Speaker 1: that infers he's playing bad football. Some cheeseheads are very
- 1:22Speaker 1: sensitive to how he's portrayed via stats. He's had guys
- 1:25Speaker 1: dropping passes on the regular as of late. He threw
- 1:28Speaker 1: two TDs. That's six two-TD games and seven outings. He
- 1:33Speaker 1: has put up over 270 yards three straight. Christian Watson
- 1:37Speaker 1: led the team with 57 versus Detroit.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Love protected down the middle.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Watson's got it in stride.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Tucker Kraft hauled in a touchdown, 48 yards. Matthew Golden
- 1:48Speaker 1: cooled off to 39 yards. Savion Williams, 47 yards. And
- 1:53Speaker 1: Jacobs did chip in 55 receiving yards and a score.
- 1:56Speaker 5: Underneath he comes. It is Jacobs caught. Still on his feet.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Josh Jacobs is in!
- 2:01Speaker 1: Panthers' rough offensive day a week ago made for a
- 2:04Speaker 1: rough day on their defense. Those four giveaways put them
- 2:07Speaker 1: behind the eight ball. But bottom line, Green Bay looking
- 2:11Speaker 1: at a group that comes off a 32 point outing,
- 2:13Speaker 1: giving up 27 points per game now. Let Tampa Bay
- 2:16Speaker 1: convert three of four red zone trips, seven for 12
- 2:19Speaker 1: on third down.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Bouncing to the left, touchdown. Have a first half, why
- 2:25Speaker 3: don't you?
- 2:25Speaker 1: They've held three teams under 22 points. Atlanta, Cleveland, and Philadelphia,
- 2:30Speaker 1: you can figure out what those offenses have in common.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Here's the thing, though. They only faced 11 Baker Mayfield
- 2:36Speaker 1: pass attempts for 64 yards. Love is looking at a
- 2:45Speaker 1: secondary holding quarterbacks to an 83 rating and who are
- 2:48Speaker 1: fresh after barely being tested week seven. No sacks on
- 2:52Speaker 1: those 11 attempts. now sitting on a two-sack-a-game average. Love
- 2:56Speaker 1: only took one sack on 45 pass attempts Week 7,
- 3:00Speaker 1: had taken five over their previous two games. As to
- 3:03Speaker 1: Josh Jacobs, I saw a comment in last week's preview
- 3:06Speaker 1: that said the numbers tied to the Panthers' rush defense
- 3:09Speaker 1: are deceiving due to their Week 1 showing. But fact is,
- 3:13Speaker 1: They've given up over 130 rush yards in four of
- 3:16Speaker 1: their six games, have allowed 250-plus rush yards twice after
- 3:20Speaker 1: giving up 258 to the Buccaneers, 106 to Bucky Irving
- 3:25Speaker 1: on 4-4 a try, 88 to Kenneth Gainwell on 6-3 per,
- 3:29Speaker 1: 52 to Sean Tucker, who they let get away for
- 3:32Speaker 1: a 46-yard touchdown, and yes, I watched it happen. No
- 3:37Speaker 1: team giving up more yards a carry or a game
- 3:40Speaker 1: for the season.
- 3:40Speaker 2: And off Irving cuts it up the middle. Touchdown Tampa Bay.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Bryce Young having to rebound from his worst game of 2026,
- 3:47Speaker 1: 280 plus yards in his first five games, then 163
- 3:49Speaker 1: last week. Season-low 51 rating, first two-INT game of the year,
- 3:58Speaker 1: turned the ball over three times.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Young with time, and he throws a pick right into
- 4:02Speaker 2: the hands of Zion McCollum.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Carolina's offense, good for 25-plus points in four of the
- 4:08Speaker 1: first five games, then 13 versus Tampa Bay. Seven of
- 4:12Speaker 1: those in Oscar the Grouch time turned the ball over
- 4:15Speaker 1: four times. One returned for a TD.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But another interception! The fourth turnover of the day for
- 4:22Speaker 2: the Panthers!
- 4:23Speaker 1: Packers defense held a high-powered Lions offense to 20 points.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's four in a row they haven't allowed 21.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Back to the corner. It's knocked away by Cisse.
- 4:33Speaker 4: That was a great play.
- 4:35Speaker 1: On paper, they gave up a lot of yards to
- 4:38Speaker 1: all of Detroit's stars. 116 to Jameer Gibbs, for example.
- 4:42Speaker 1: They did make him work, holding him to four in attempt.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Carolina's run game was fine when used, but Chuba Hubbard
- 4:48Speaker 1: only had seven carries due to the game being 33-6
- 4:51Speaker 1: at half. Through the air, Jalen Coker, 97 yards week six,
- 4:56Speaker 1: nine last week. Tedaroa McMillan from 192 to 86, then
- 5:01Speaker 1: 40 versus Tampa. Mitchell Evans, 39 yards. Darren Waller caught
- 5:06Speaker 1: a 50-yard TD.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Down the middle. Waller on the run. Darren Waller with
- 5:12Speaker 3: the touchdown.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Packers DBs played the tight end spot fine versus Detroit,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but they gave up 91 yards and two touchdowns to
- 5:20Speaker 1: Jamison Williams. 153 yards allowed to Amonra St.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Brown.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Over 300 yards allowed to Jared Goff, two TDs, a
- 5:29Speaker 1: 119 rate.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Williams now using that speed. Jamison Williams lunging to the
- 5:33Speaker 5: end zone.
- 5:33Speaker 3: He is in!
- 5:35Speaker 1: Still holding quarterbacks under a 90 rating, so body of
- 5:38Speaker 1: work more impressive than their week seven digits. They only
- 5:41Speaker 1: sacked Goff once on 32 pass attempts, 16 sacks in
- 5:45Speaker 1: seven games now, but why should they bother to rush
- 5:48Speaker 1: the passer? Holy bajoly, man. That's back-to-back weeks they've been
- 5:52Speaker 1: hit with What you would call sketchy roughing the passer calls,
- 5:56Speaker 1: Tom Brady sounded like Randy Marsh in that sarcastic ball episode.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, what is that?
- 6:02Speaker 6: That's definitely not roughing the passer.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Bryce has been sacked two plus times every game, lost
- 6:08Speaker 1: Taylor Moten last week with a fractured fibula, Young got
- 6:12Speaker 1: dropped five times versus the Buccaneers. They didn't even blitz
- 6:16Speaker 1: him a lot, and he faced a whopping 50% pressure rate.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Left tackle Rasheed Walker had only allowed a half a
- 6:23Speaker 1: sack in five games, allowed three last week per NextGenStats.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Pressure again. Young, the ball is out, and it's a
- 6:30Speaker 2: scoop headed the other direction.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Jaguars back at their real home. London's cool, but not
- 6:37Speaker 1: enough backwards red caps in the stands to inspire two
- 6:40Speaker 1: wins over there.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Clean exchange. It's away.
- 6:44Speaker 7: And it is down the middle. The Texans win it
- 6:48Speaker 7: here in London.
- 6:49Speaker 1: The Indianapolis Colts are in town who haven't won a
- 6:53Speaker 1: game in Duval since 2014. And they haven't won a
- 6:57Speaker 1: game in 2026 in three weeks.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Jones intercepted.
- 7:03Speaker 8: Harrison Smith picks it off, and that will do it.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Colts on a three-game losing streak, 2-5 record now. GM fired.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Owner still on the sideline taking notes. Who's next on
- 7:16Speaker 1: her list, right? Offense only 10 points last week. Sure,
- 7:20Speaker 1: that was that Minnesota defense, but they haven't scored 23
- 7:24Speaker 1: in four of their last five. Daniel Jones has only
- 7:27Speaker 1: gone one game without an INT this season. Not one
- 7:31Speaker 1: game with even a 90 rate or 7 yards per attempt.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Four straight games completing fewer than 60% of his passes.
- 7:38Speaker 3: He will throw it. Incomplete. The closest player to it
- 7:42Speaker 3: was Van Ginkle.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Only 108 yards a week ago. how about taking 10
- 7:47Speaker 1: sacks in the last two games? You can make the
- 7:56Speaker 1: argument they would be better off leaning into the Hammond
- 7:59Speaker 1: pros playbook. First down, handoff to Taylor to the right.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Second down, handoff to Taylor to the left. Third down,
- 8:06Speaker 1: Taylor up the middle. Fourth down, dealer's choice. He can
- 8:09Speaker 1: run wherever he wants. Jonathan, 95 yards versus Minnesota, 5.3
- 8:13Speaker 1: a pop. got to do the JT Moonwalk once, had
- 8:18Speaker 1: that kind of game the week before, too.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Taylor, he's got a running lane. And Taylor could go! Taylor,
- 8:24Speaker 3: the acceleration!
- 8:25Speaker 8: And he gets there!
- 8:26Speaker 3: Touchdown!
- 8:27Speaker 1: Colts offense dancing with a Jags defense that just gave
- 8:31Speaker 1: up 34 points to Houston last time out was not
- 8:34Speaker 1: reflective of their body of work, nothing about how they
- 8:37Speaker 1: looked and that loss was. Maybe two weeks of tea
- 8:40Speaker 1: and crumpets made them drowsy. They had held every team
- 8:43Speaker 1: to fewer than 21 points prior to that game and
- 8:46Speaker 1: are one of the hardest teams to score on inside
- 8:48Speaker 1: the 20, scored a 17-point-per-game average for 2026.
- 8:51Speaker 9: Hey, looking, looking, looking. Fires to the back of the end.
- 8:55Speaker 9: That ball's going to be picked off! It's going to
- 8:57Speaker 9: be picked off! How about that?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Get everyone back on a cold nose and some garlic crabs,
- 9:03Speaker 1: you know? Jones is squaring off with a secondary holding
- 9:05Speaker 1: quarterbacks to an 87 rating on the strength of seven INTs.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Their cornerback trio is tough. Jerrion Jones, Travis Hunter, Jordan Lewis,
- 9:15Speaker 1: all sub-82 ratings, Lewis and Hunter, two interceptions each.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Play fake.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Rolling right is Stroud, fires back at the end zone.
- 9:22Speaker 9: Holds intercepted! He threw it into the back of the
- 9:24Speaker 9: end zone, it was picked off!
- 9:25Speaker 1: Travis showing that AC-DC trait that made him worth trading
- 9:29Speaker 1: up for, by the way. Pick and a TD in
- 9:31Speaker 1: the same game.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Looking.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Trevor fires toward the goal line. Caught!
- 9:36Speaker 4: Touchdown!
- 9:37Speaker 3: Travis Hunter, who else?
- 9:38Speaker 1: Now, the one red flag so far for Jacksonville's pass defense,
- 9:42Speaker 1: they've allowed eight yards per attempt and over 12 yards
- 9:45Speaker 1: per completion. They've given up 21 passes of 20 plus yards,
- 9:50Speaker 1: fifth most after six weeks. Jags pass rush only 11 sacks.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Team leader Trayvon Walker with just two. They do have
- 9:57Speaker 1: a healthy enough pressure rate so it's not a toothless
- 10:00Speaker 1: pass rush.
- 10:01Speaker 7: Flag down. He's out of the pocket. Gets to the sideline.
- 10:06Speaker 7: Chased out of bounds by Jordan Lewis.
- 10:08Speaker 1: JT will be challenged to lay a big number on
- 10:10Speaker 1: Jacksonville's front. He's looking at the number one rush defense,
- 10:14Speaker 1: holding ball carriers to 3.2 per attempt.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Are they marking this? Two inches short of a first down.
- 10:22Speaker 7: Would you even risk it against what's been the best
- 10:25Speaker 7: run defense so far in the NFL this year?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Colts defense, capable of making it hard on Jacksonville's offense,
- 10:31Speaker 1: just depends on which version shows up. Have allowed 33
- 10:35Speaker 1: plus points three times, but have held three teams under 20.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Kept Minnesota to 16 in their latest loss. just three
- 10:43Speaker 1: for 11 on third down under five yards per play.
- 10:46Speaker 8: Murray steps, Murray delivers, knockdown!
- 10:50Speaker 1: Kenneth Harris held Kyler Murray to 150 yards, just 6.3
- 10:56Speaker 1: yards per attempt, sacked him three times on 24 chances.
- 11:00Speaker 8: 207 mark, and Murray is sacked.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Now, Sunshine may note that Indy did all that versus Murray.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Most defenses have improved their stats against him, Colts are
- 11:12Speaker 1: allowing a 97 rating, only two teams have given up
- 11:15Speaker 1: more yards per completion, and they only have 13 sacks
- 11:19Speaker 1: for the year.
- 11:20Speaker 8: Murray, he's going to throw it, catch made, Hawkinson angles
- 11:23Speaker 8: his body, touchdown!
- 11:26Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence hit his week of rest, tied for the
- 11:29Speaker 1: league lead in touchdowns, has 14, has thrown for a
- 11:32Speaker 1: plus 100 rating, 246 yards per game. hit Houston's secondary,
- 11:37Speaker 1: considered top shelf, with a season-high four TDs.
- 11:40Speaker 7: Jacksonville's offense has been hit and miss, from 34 points
- 11:44Speaker 7: to 13, then 35 to 22 and 19, and then
- 11:45Speaker 7: 31 their last outing.
- 11:56Speaker 1: That's a 25-point-per-game average. They're top 10 on third down
- 12:00Speaker 1: and in the red zone.
- 12:01Speaker 3: A little pop pass.
- 12:03Speaker 4: One-handed catch by Borkature.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Lawrence didn't take a single sack at the hands of
- 12:09Speaker 1: Will Anderson and Daniil Hunter, has only taken 10 sacks
- 12:13Speaker 1: in six games, below average pressure rate faced, so not
- 12:17Speaker 1: an easy dude to track down.
- 12:18Speaker 7: Colts DBs have three guys to primarily try and slow,
- 12:22Speaker 7: tight end Brenton Strange, 46 yards per game.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Jacoby Myers, 47 yards per game, and T-Law's go-to, Parker Washington,
- 12:36Speaker 1: has scored four times. 69 yards per game has really
- 12:40Speaker 1: blossomed into a number one Lawrence clearly trusts.
- 12:44Speaker 7: Their blitz, Parker Washington. He's like a video game. Gets loose,
- 12:48Speaker 7: gets to the edge. First down and more.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Bashall Tootin in charge of the ground transportation. has been
- 12:54Speaker 1: solid for them, 4-1 a carry, 64 rush yards per game.
- 12:57Speaker 7: Lawrence, wide open, easy pitch and catch, touchdown, the second
- 13:01Speaker 7: for Basial Tootin.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Hey, load him up. Colts are giving up 4.8 yards
- 13:06Speaker 1: per carry for the season, only two teams allowing more,
- 13:09Speaker 1: 136 yards on 4-7 a run to Minnesota.
- 13:15Speaker 10: L.A.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Chargers on the road this week. Shortest road trip ever.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Just walk over to the other sideline. Had last week off,
- 13:22Speaker 1: so finally didn't lose a game. No team in more
- 13:25Speaker 1: need of a recharge.
- 13:27Speaker 3: They don't.
- 13:28Speaker 11: Fourth and four in the ground. Incomplete. Incomplete pass. Chiefs
- 13:34Speaker 11: will take over and they've got the win.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I can testify to that, too. The Rams, their opponent
- 13:39Speaker 1: in this one. So maybe the game will be on
- 13:41Speaker 1: Gorilla Radio. The Horned Ones' season felt like it was
- 13:44Speaker 1: on the ropes. Lose to the Raiders and war would
- 13:47Speaker 1: have been within a breath. But they remained calm like
- 13:50Speaker 1: a bomb in Vegas last week, got back into the
- 13:52Speaker 1: win column.
- 13:54Speaker 7: And on their way to going 3-4, they'll get the
- 13:57Speaker 7: Chargers next, then on the road with the Commanders and
- 14:00Speaker 7: Cardinals before a bye.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Don't have to sleep now in the fire just yet.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Don't have Devontae Pukas banged up. Just toke the rock.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Kyron Williams, 99 yards versus Vegas, 6-2 a run, a score,
- 14:13Speaker 1: averaging 5-1 per handoff for 2026, 5 TDs. The pitch, Kyron.
- 14:19Speaker 7: Williams, spinning toward the end zone, touchdown Rams, Kyron Williams.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Blake Corum hitting at 4-9 a carry for 2026, 93
- 14:28Speaker 1: yards a week ago, 5-5 per, also scored.
- 14:32Speaker 7: He gives, he hits the hole, he's got a block,
- 14:34Speaker 7: he's got a touchdown.
- 14:36Speaker 3: And most likely the ball game.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Blake Corham on a four-yard touchdown.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Those two dudes, the fuel for a 35-point outing on
- 14:44Speaker 1: the strip, cashed in all five red zone trips.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Stafford floats it for the end zone.
- 14:51Speaker 4: Touchdown Rams!
- 14:52Speaker 3: Davis Allen!
- 14:54Speaker 1: Stafford and company are not dealing with a bad defense
- 14:56Speaker 1: in this one. Their 25 points per game allowed is
- 14:59Speaker 1: tied to how inept their offense has been. They have
- 15:02Speaker 1: 10 takeaways and have been top 10 good in the
- 15:05Speaker 1: red zone and on third down.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Intercepted in the end zone.
- 15:09Speaker 11: Picked off right there by Hart.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Oh, they stopped the drive and it's track.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And the Chargers front holding backs to four a carry.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Their defense has at least kept them somewhat competitive.
- 15:21Speaker 11: Running Walker. Oh, stoned at the line of scrimmage. No
- 15:25Speaker 11: gain on the play. Goal line stand. Big time hit
- 15:28Speaker 11: by the veteran Tony Jefferson.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Chargers secondary holding quarterbacks to a respectable 90 rating, only
- 15:34Speaker 1: 206 yards per game allowed. Corner Cam Hart has two INTs,
- 15:39Speaker 1: as does safety Genesis Smith.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Over the middle and it's picked off!
- 15:45Speaker 3: Genesis Smith has it of the Chargers.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Pass rush, only 11 sacks, but a healthy 38% pressure rate.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Khalil Mack leads the team with three backs.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Hold on, first down.
- 15:55Speaker 12: Pressure coming, and he's thrown down by Khalil Mack.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Stafford only took one sack on 29 attempts versus Las Vegas.
- 16:03Speaker 1: That's just one taken in three of his last four,
- 16:06Speaker 1: so it hasn't been a problem much. He threw for
- 16:09Speaker 1: three TDs last week, too, put up a 110-plus rate
- 16:12Speaker 1: for the third straight time. He is now the franchise
- 16:15Speaker 1: record holder for TD passes.
- 16:18Speaker 7: Wide open touchdown Rams. Davis Allen from Matthew Stafford.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Only 195 yards last week. More than enough with their
- 16:26Speaker 1: run game popping like it did. Only dude with more
- 16:29Speaker 1: than 50 receiving yards, Nakua, who scored and tallied 68 yards.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Stafford firing. It's Puka Nakua. To the end zone and
- 16:37Speaker 7: that's a Rams touchdown.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Tight end, Colby Parkinson, 48 yards. Nobody else with even
- 16:42Speaker 1: 23 yards. Davis Allen did catch two touchdowns, though. They
- 16:47Speaker 1: handled their business, as did their defense, holding a high-scoring
- 16:51Speaker 1: Raiders offense to 21 points, 3-for-14 on 3rd down, 2-for-5
- 16:55Speaker 1: on 4th down, and 1-for-5 in the red zone. 20-26
- 16:59Speaker 1: numbers now, 22 points per game, 5th best inside the
- 17:03Speaker 1: 20 and on 3rd down.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Time for Cousins. On the move, throws and knocked away.
- 17:11Speaker 7: Quinton Lake, Trey Tucker.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Chargers are hoping a week off somehow sparks something for
- 17:16Speaker 1: an offense that didn't score 18 points in five of
- 17:19Speaker 1: their six games. O'Marion Hampton, Trey Harris, Ladd McConkie, Quinton Johnston,
- 17:25Speaker 1: David Njoku, not one averaging even 50 yards per game. Bolts,
- 17:30Speaker 1: averaging a lowly 15 points per game, are part of
- 17:33Speaker 1: the under-five-yards-per-play club. Bad on third down and in the
- 17:37Speaker 1: red zone.
- 17:38Speaker 11: Justin Herbert trying to put the brakes on what is
- 17:41Speaker 11: a career-worst season so far. Only five touchdowns.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Against eight INTs.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Most of any quarterback, sub-70 rate, just 190 yards per game.
- 17:59Speaker 1: It's been brutal.
- 18:00Speaker 3: And their O-line is at the center of the mess.
- 18:03Speaker 11: Sure, Mike McDaniels too, but Herbert has been sacked 21
- 18:05Speaker 11: times in six games.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Has faced pressure over 40% of his throws. They've used
- 18:08Speaker 3: nine O-linemen already.
- 18:22Speaker 11: He's hit! Fourth sack! Boy, they're coming in bunches. They
- 18:27Speaker 11: had four coming in.
- 18:28Speaker 1: The Rams' pass rush has lacked teeth with only 10 sacks,
- 18:32Speaker 1: only got to Cousins twice on 44 pass attempts. They
- 18:35Speaker 1: gave up 295 yards to Kirko Chains, two touchdowns, 61
- 18:40Speaker 1: yards and a touchdown allowed to Ashton Gentry. 73 yards
- 18:44Speaker 1: to Brock Bowers, 103 and a score to Trey Tucker.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Loading one, open is Tucker.
- 18:50Speaker 7: And Tucker, he puts a move on to the end zone.
- 18:53Speaker 3: In for a Raider touchdown.
- 18:55Speaker 13: L.A.
- 18:55Speaker 1: 's pass defense has been top-notch, though, overall. Wasn't even
- 18:59Speaker 1: that they played the pass poorly when you consider 18
- 19:02Speaker 1: of Cousins' passes fell to the turf. They also handled
- 19:06Speaker 1: the Raiders' run game with ease. Most do, but they
- 19:09Speaker 1: held them to 2.8 per attempt. It's the Geno Smith
- 19:16Speaker 1: revenge game. New York Jets at home this week. They've
- 19:19Speaker 1: lost five of their last six games, their latest L,
- 19:23Speaker 1: to a winless team at home.
- 19:25Speaker 6: But again, you get this first down, game's over. On
- 19:28Speaker 6: the keeper, Willis on fourth and less than a yard.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I think he gets that.
- 19:34Speaker 6: No signal yet, and they've got it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: This does feel a little like Harry facing off with
- 19:40Speaker 1: Lloyd right now, or two guys who've had a few
- 19:42Speaker 1: too many fighting outside of an IHOP at 3 a.m.,
- 19:46Speaker 1: because they take on the Las Vegas Raiders, making the
- 19:49Speaker 1: trip east on a four-game losing streak.
- 19:52Speaker 3: And Blake Corham takes it in for a touchdown.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Hey, I'm not here to make commercials. This is a
- 19:59Speaker 1: game between two teams that have one win between them
- 20:03Speaker 1: in the last four weeks. But let's pretend this is
- 20:06Speaker 1: a prime time game and we were only focused on
- 20:09Speaker 1: the positives. Geno Smith comes in off a 3 TD game,
- 20:12Speaker 1: 280 plus yards, a 125 plus rate.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Dolphins bring four. Smith takes a shot into the same.
- 20:20Speaker 3: It's caught.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Cooper.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Against Kirk Cousins, who just went for 295 yards and
- 20:28Speaker 1: two touchdowns, he's aired it out for 295-plus yards in
- 20:32Speaker 1: three of his last four.
- 20:34Speaker 7: To Trey Tucker, and Tucker can run. Oh, he's the
- 20:37Speaker 7: fastest on the Raider team. Tripped up at the 45
- 20:41Speaker 7: of the ramps.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Trey Tucker coming off a 100-plus yard game and a touchdown.
- 20:47Speaker 1: He's scored back-to-back games, 97-plus yards in each.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Rock Bowers, 73 yards versus the.
- 20:53Speaker 7: Rams, at least 70 yards in five games he's played.
- 21:05Speaker 7: And she is caught inside the 20. That's Bowers.
- 21:09Speaker 1: And Ashton Jente still hasn't been able to get anything
- 21:12Speaker 1: going as a runner, but he caught a touchdown, 61
- 21:15Speaker 1: receiving yards. That's 50-plus receiving yards in three of his
- 21:19Speaker 1: last four.
- 21:20Speaker 7: Cousins floating for the end zone. Jente has it. It's
- 21:23Speaker 7: a Raider touchdown!
- 21:25Speaker 1: Okay, but the Jets have Omar Cooper rolling in off
- 21:28Speaker 1: a 115-yard game. He scored again. Rookie with 100-plus yards
- 21:33Speaker 1: and a score in both games he's played since coming
- 21:36Speaker 1: back from injury.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Action from the 35. Smith up the seam.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Completes.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Chunk play for the Jets. It's Omar Cooper. Break it away.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Plus, Mason Taylor scored twice, 62 yards.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Miami brings four. Geno protected. Geno to the end zone.
- 21:54Speaker 3: It's caught. Touchdown.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And Braylon Allen, 104 rush yards on 6-1 per handoff,
- 21:59Speaker 1: over 4.5 yards per carry and 78 yards three straight.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Who needs Brees Hall?
- 22:06Speaker 6: Possession has been all Miami as they begin with a
- 22:10Speaker 6: run play.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Allen, chug play.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I mean, that's a lot of good stuff, man, and
- 22:15Speaker 1: we could be in for a real treat, and why
- 22:17Speaker 1: not have it be a score fest? Allen faces a
- 22:20Speaker 1: Raiders defense that gave up 199 rush yards to the Rams,
- 22:24Speaker 1: 90-plus yards allowed to two different backs, giving up 5.5-plus
- 22:29Speaker 1: yards per carry to each, second most generous defense to
- 22:33Speaker 1: runners in the NFL.
- 22:35Speaker 7: And Blake Corham takes it in for a touchdown. A
- 22:40Speaker 7: five-touchdown game for the Ram offense.
- 22:42Speaker 1: It's a Raiders defense that's allowed 27-plus points, five straight games,
- 22:47Speaker 1: 35 to the Rams, didn't stop any of their five
- 22:50Speaker 1: red zone trips, only three teams allowing more points per game.
- 22:55Speaker 7: It's Puka Nakua to the end zone, and that's a
- 22:57Speaker 7: Ram touchdown.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Geno gets a secondary that gave up three touchdowns and
- 23:03Speaker 1: a 110-plus rating to Matthew Stafford, a pass rush that
- 23:07Speaker 1: only sacked him once on 29 pass attempts.
- 23:10Speaker 7: And the Jets' offense at least scored 25 points. Okay, sure,
- 23:12Speaker 7: but Vegas' offense that's.
- 23:14Speaker 4: 7th in scoring?
- 23:29Speaker 1: Gets a Jets defense that gave up 28 points to
- 23:31Speaker 1: a winless Miami offense, let them convert all three of
- 23:35Speaker 1: their red zone trips.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Management decisions, Willis pulls it back, Jets giving chase, Willis
- 23:41Speaker 6: turns the corner!
- 23:42Speaker 1: Raiders passing attack, it's a secondary that gave up two
- 23:45Speaker 1: touchdowns to Malik Willis, a 130 plus rate, close to
- 23:49Speaker 1: 10 yards per attempt. Willis had never looked so good
- 23:52Speaker 1: in Aqua until he faced them. And even though the Raiders'
- 24:03Speaker 1: rush attack hasn't been effective in most games, maybe they
- 24:06Speaker 1: get it going versus the Jets, being they gave up
- 24:09Speaker 1: over 100 yards to Ollie Gordon, but you get it.
- 24:12Speaker 1: You got a bunch of guys who played well offensively
- 24:15Speaker 1: versus a couple of defenses who were pretty generous the
- 24:18Speaker 1: last time we watched them. So, this was a game
- 24:22Speaker 1: originally slated for Sunday Night Football. Wait, it still is?
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's still on?
- 24:28Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I guess the league hasn't been in the gym lately,
- 24:31Speaker 1: not ready to flex yet. So be it. Washington hits
- 24:34Speaker 1: week six with one win without its star wide receiver
- 24:37Speaker 1: coming off a bye week. Hopefully they used it to
- 24:40Speaker 1: learn how the whole four downs and football thing works.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Flag on the play and Daniels has to throw it away.
- 24:46Speaker 6: Yeah, you don't throw the ball away on fourth down.
- 24:49Speaker 6: You got to at least give your receiver an opportunity.
- 24:51Speaker 5: Yeah, and you see the frustration by Dan Quinn and
- 24:54Speaker 5: we're going to take a look.
- 24:55Speaker 1: At Philadelphia at home with a 2-5 record on a
- 24:58Speaker 1: five-game losing streak. Roster full of hot dog Nelsons, Andy Bernards,
- 25:03Speaker 1: Randy Pearsons, Walden Schmitz, if you will.
- 25:06Speaker 2: This will do it. Mitchell, good night. 17-point win for
- 25:11Speaker 2: the Dallas Cowboys. They snap a two-game losing streak.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Can you name what shows each of those backups are from?
- 25:18Speaker 1: It's the Tanner McKee show for the rest of 2026
- 25:20Speaker 1: in Philly. he's started two games that look almost identical.
- 25:25Speaker 1: 215 yards, a touchdown, 77 rate versus Carolina, 211 yards,
- 25:31Speaker 1: a touchdown, 79 rate versus Dallas. Only difference, he threw
- 25:36Speaker 1: in a pick in his latest outing.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Brought him back. Here's a pick.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Intercepted by Overshawn in his first game back.
- 25:43Speaker 1: But truth was, Philadelphia's offense and McKee didn't look bad
- 25:47Speaker 1: the first half of last week's game, especially when Saquon
- 25:50Speaker 1: was playing. Barkley returned from his hamstring injury, ran seven
- 25:54Speaker 1: times for 62 yards and scored.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Barkley bouncing. Saquon gets the edge. Touchdown, Philly. You look
- 26:04Speaker 2: pretty healthy on that run.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And clearly re-injured his leg. Wasn't able to finish. Have
- 26:09Speaker 1: to see if he can make a go of it
- 26:10Speaker 1: this week. Eagles only scored 21 points. That's five straight
- 26:15Speaker 1: games they haven't been able to hit 22 on the scoreboard.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Washington's defense kind of storm trooper-esque so far. I mean,
- 26:22Speaker 1: they're out there in numbers, just not sure they're doing much.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Get inside the 20 and they'll let you in the door.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Worst red zone defense in the land. Bad on third down,
- 26:31Speaker 1: giving up a hefty 28 points per game.
- 26:34Speaker 3: On first down, Purdy, good protection. Kittle, touchdown.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Secondary McKee Faces has given up a 105 rate, over
- 26:43Speaker 1: eight yards per attempt, 254 yards per game, need to
- 26:47Speaker 1: throw a TD, find cornerback Mike Saner still. His own
- 26:51Speaker 1: fans call him standing still because he's given up six touchdowns.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Nobody else had given up four after six weeks.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Back second and seven.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Throwing it in the end zone.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Lamb, flag down.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Catch made. Touchdown.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Commanders pass rush, only 11 sacks. Subpar pressure rate. McKee
- 27:10Speaker 1: got dropped three times by Carolina, twice by Dallas last week.
- 27:14Speaker 2: First and 17 after the hold, and McKee is sacked.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Brought down by Ezeraku.
- 27:20Speaker 1: If Barkley can't go, can Damian Pierce? He too left
- 27:23Speaker 1: hurt last week, leaving Elijah Mitchell as the last back standing.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Whoever it is, does face a front tough to run on.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Commanders holding backs to four a carry, so they got
- 27:34Speaker 1: that going for them.
- 27:35Speaker 2: As Black is trying to drive for the first down,
- 27:39Speaker 2: but he's going to be a yard short.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Eagles defense comes off its worst showing of 2026. Hard
- 27:44Speaker 1: to stay motivated, I imagine, right now. Gave up a
- 27:47Speaker 1: season-high 38 points. They have now allowed 24-plus points in
- 27:51Speaker 1: four of their last five.
- 27:53Speaker 2: End zone, Lamb. Perfect throw and catch. Touchdown, Dallas.
- 27:57Speaker 1: They take on a commander's offense that's bad in the
- 28:00Speaker 1: red zone. Worst on third down, only 22 points per game.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Daniels fires.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Incomplete with Mustafa in coverage.
- 28:10Speaker 1: DeFon Diggs, four scores, but only 42 yards per game.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Chigo Conquo, 37 per. Antonio Williams, 34. Traylon Burks, 30.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Daniels only averaging 189 through the air four games only
- 28:25Speaker 1: five TD passes no interceptions so he's still sitting on
- 28:28Speaker 1: a high 90s rate he is the only player averaging
- 28:32Speaker 1: more than 50 yards per game receiving or rushing being
- 28:35Speaker 1: he's averaging 53 yards a game on the ground at least.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Handles the high snap, and he's going to keep it himself.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Look at him go!
- 28:44Speaker 7: Jaden Daniels to the end zone! Two touchdown runs today!
- 28:48Speaker 1: Philadelphia does have guys who can stop the pass still.
- 28:51Speaker 1: They're holding quarterbacks to a sub-60% completion rate. They held
- 28:55Speaker 1: Dak Prescott to 55%. They just didn't pick him off,
- 28:58Speaker 1: gave up three touchdowns. Two to C.D. Lamb, one to
- 29:02Speaker 1: George Pickens. Cooper to Jean allowed one. Andrew Makuba allowed one,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and Tariq Wallen won along with 111 yards.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Prescott, he's got his man.
- 29:11Speaker 2: That's Lamb, and Lamb is going to be out of bounds.
- 29:16Speaker 1: They didn't sack Prescott once. Only one team has fewer
- 29:19Speaker 1: bags in 2026. Washington quarterbacks have taken 14 sacks in
- 29:24Speaker 1: six games. Right tackle Brandon Coleman has allowed a team-high
- 29:28Speaker 1: three and a half.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Guys bail out on third down and eight, and down
- 29:32Speaker 2: goes Daniels in a sack by Mikel Williams.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Should Washington want to feed their backs, they're looking at
- 29:37Speaker 1: an Eagles front that just let Javante Williams go for
- 29:41Speaker 1: 155 yards on six to a run. Had been tough
- 29:45Speaker 1: to run on, but last week the wheels just fell off.
- 29:48Speaker 2: There he goes, Javante Williams. Big play, no flags, down
- 29:52Speaker 2: to the 25.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Arizona Cardinals on the road week eight, losers of five
- 29:57Speaker 1: of their last six. So Dallas, if you don't keep
- 30:00Speaker 1: going in the right direction, then your Waze app doesn't work.
- 30:03Speaker 11: Cowboys at home, season not over at all.
- 30:12Speaker 1: May not need more than eight or nine wins to
- 30:14Speaker 1: win the East this year. Never know. Just don't stub
- 30:17Speaker 1: your toe.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Going to go unconventional with this preview, but there's a
- 30:26Speaker 2: point to it.
- 30:26Speaker 1: The Cowboys offense should put up at least 30 points
- 30:30Speaker 1: this week. Arizona's defense has allowed more points per game
- 30:34Speaker 1: than any team in the NFL, more yards per play
- 30:37Speaker 1: than every team save one, gave up 30 points to
- 30:40Speaker 1: a Broncos offense not adept at scoring.
- 30:43Speaker 11: Being chased, 10, 5, touchdown!
- 30:47Speaker 1: Dak Prescott, CeeDee, and Pickens should help fantasy teams win
- 30:52Speaker 1: games this week. Arizona's pass rush only had one sack
- 30:56Speaker 1: versus Denver. Only one secondary is allowing a higher rating
- 31:00Speaker 1: and more yards per completion than theirs.
- 31:02Speaker 3: And Knicks to the air. Nice catch by Waddell.
- 31:06Speaker 1: And Javante Williams should stack back-to-back big games because the
- 31:10Speaker 1: Cardinals are allowing 4.7 yards per carry for 2026, only
- 31:15Speaker 1: a few teams worse when it comes to rush defense.
- 31:18Speaker 11: Coleman gets the call, finds a gap, breaks a tackle.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Okay, so from there, the dominoes fall like this. Williams
- 31:25Speaker 1: has scored in five straight games, and in six of seven,
- 31:28Speaker 1: plus he just went for a season-high 155 yards on
- 31:31Speaker 1: 6-2 a carry versus Philadelphia.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Williams, stutter steps, and there he goes, Javante Williams. Big play,
- 31:39Speaker 2: no flags, down to the 25.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Prescott, who has only taken one sack over their last
- 31:44Speaker 1: three games, comes off his second 100-plus rate game of 2026,
- 31:47Speaker 1: three touchdowns, close to eight yards per attempt a rating
- 31:51Speaker 1: of 118 without throwing any ints.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Prescott takes a shot it is caught for the touchdown
- 32:00Speaker 2: cd lamb caught two of dax three touchdowns 74 yards
- 32:04Speaker 2: 70 plus yards in five of his last six shifts
- 32:08Speaker 2: i want to put it up end zone shot lamb
- 32:10Speaker 2: spinning catch touchdown dallas.
- 32:13Speaker 1: And pickens also scored on monday chipped in 57 yards the.
- 32:17Speaker 2: It is caught for the touchdown by Pickens.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Offense as a whole went for a season-high 38 points,
- 32:25Speaker 1: snapped a two-game losing streak that saw them finish under
- 32:28Speaker 1: 17 points. That's four times now their offense has hit
- 32:31Speaker 1: for 31-plus.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Prescott steps into it. He's got a man, Flannoy, wide open,
- 32:36Speaker 2: and he stays inbounds.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Problem is, maybe this was true when these two met
- 32:40Speaker 1: last year in Dallas, no less, and we all remember
- 32:43Speaker 1: what happened. Zona with a 27-17 upset. because the Alice
- 32:48Speaker 1: Cowboys were on the scene. And Jacoby Brissett took it
- 32:51Speaker 1: to him. He lost last week, but he still threw
- 32:55Speaker 1: for over 270 yards. And remember, nobody saw Arizona beating
- 32:59Speaker 1: the Rams in L.A. a couple of weeks back. They
- 33:07Speaker 1: still have Trey McBride, and he's still playing like Trey McBride.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Seven catches in every game this year. 10 last week
- 33:14Speaker 1: for 111 yards, one touchdown. And they have Bam Knight,
- 33:23Speaker 1: who didn't get much action last week, but he hit
- 33:26Speaker 1: it 6.9 yards per carry. Second week in a row,
- 33:29Speaker 1: he's been over 5'3. None of that produced enough points
- 33:38Speaker 1: versus Denver. They haven't scored 23 points in three straight games.
- 33:42Speaker 1: They are owners of a 20-point-per-game average, no team worse
- 33:46Speaker 1: in the red zone.
- 33:47Speaker 11: They bring 4%, not down! Denver stops them on the
- 33:52Speaker 11: goal to go.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Against a Cowboys defense whose body of work is old-school
- 33:57Speaker 1: Will Ferrell-esque, but at least played an Eagles squad full
- 34:00Speaker 1: of LeCarpetron, Duke Marriotts, and Des Moines Shower Handles, respectively,
- 34:05Speaker 1: held the Eagles to 21 points. McKee keeps....
- 34:09Speaker 2: Looking for help. Looking for Lemon. Has to throw it away.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Held Tanner McKee to a sub-80 rate. Picked him off.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Here's a pick.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Intercepted by Overshawn in his first game back.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Luckily, didn't have to face a full game of Saquon
- 34:22Speaker 1: because even with a bad hamstring, he torched them when
- 34:25Speaker 1: he was out there.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It's Barkley.
- 34:26Speaker 2: What a nice move. And Saquon broke a tackle and
- 34:31Speaker 2: out of bounds at the 34.
- 34:33Speaker 1: This game feels way more important after last week. Falcons
- 34:37Speaker 1: get back within a game of 500, knocking off an unbeaten.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Pass picked off by Daniels.
- 34:44Speaker 7: And it is a huge play as they force a
- 34:46Speaker 7: third San Francisco turnover.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Only a half game behind the Panthers for the division
- 34:51Speaker 1: lead now. who the Buccaneers took down for their second
- 34:54Speaker 1: win of 2026. Baker is back, though they didn't really
- 34:58Speaker 1: need him last week.
- 34:59Speaker 3: And a burst, and it's Sean Tucker on the run!
- 35:03Speaker 2: Takes it all the way for a Tampa Bay touchdown!
- 35:07Speaker 1: 36 points, only the second time the Buccaneers have scored
- 35:10Speaker 1: 24-plus on offense. Did it with Mayfield only throwing 11
- 35:14Speaker 1: times for 64 yards. They just ran it down the
- 35:18Speaker 1: throat of Carolina's defense. 258 rush yards on 5-3 per attempt,
- 35:22Speaker 1: three scores. That 46-yarder you just saw by Sean Tucker,
- 35:28Speaker 1: two from Bucky Irving, 106 yards, 4-4 a carry, nice
- 35:33Speaker 1: rebound after a rough week six, 100-plus yards, two of
- 35:37Speaker 1: his last three.
- 35:38Speaker 7: Irving cuts it up the middle, touchdown Tampa Bay.
- 35:42Speaker 3: What a start.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Plus 88 yards on 6-3 per from Kenny Gainwell.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield out there to try to throw a block,
- 35:49Speaker 2: and Gainwell with a stiff arm.
- 35:51Speaker 3: And a cut. Gainwell.
- 35:53Speaker 1: It would be shocking if Baker didn't throw more this week,
- 35:55Speaker 1: didn't take any sacks versus Carolina, no Buccaneers with 25
- 35:59Speaker 1: receiving yards, none of that surprising with how things unfolded.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Could try and load up down low again, though, based
- 36:06Speaker 1: on how Atlanta's defense fared versus the 49ers' rush attack,
- 36:10Speaker 1: gave up 123 yards on 5-3 a carry. 5-3 per
- 36:15Speaker 1: allowed to Kalen Black, 5-6 versus CMC, who got hurt.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Atlanta was not an easy group to run on prior
- 36:25Speaker 1: to last week, though, as evidenced by their 4-1 average
- 36:29Speaker 1: versus the run for the year. Mayfield, meantime, is squaring
- 36:33Speaker 1: off with a secondary that got A.J. Terrell back. They
- 36:35Speaker 1: strut in off a two-INT game versus Brock Purdy, held
- 36:39Speaker 1: him to a mid-70s rate.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Under pressure again. Roll into his right. Intercepted.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Out of bounds.
- 36:46Speaker 3: Well, they say he had it.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Bates.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Came down inbounds.
- 36:50Speaker 1: They didn't face very many wide receiver targets because the
- 36:53Speaker 1: Niners didn't have many wide receivers worth throwing to. They
- 36:57Speaker 1: did give up 288 yards to Purdy, 88 yards to
- 37:01Speaker 1: George Kittle, but their defense with four takeaways won late
- 37:05Speaker 1: versus Kittle. Kendall Daniels with an INT and fumble recovery.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Fans are loving that dude. After giving up 30 plus
- 37:13Speaker 1: points two weeks in a row, they held the Niners
- 37:15Speaker 1: to 20 points.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Ball comes loose.
- 37:18Speaker 2: And it's recovered by Daniels.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Falcons own a 24-point-per-game average on defense, three games allowing 30-plus,
- 37:25Speaker 1: three holding it under 24, one right at 24. Same
- 37:30Speaker 1: deal with their offense, four games under 24 points, three
- 37:33Speaker 1: with 29-plus. 29 versus San Francisco, Michael Penix comes off
- 37:38Speaker 1: back-to-back three TD games, a 118 rate last week, 100-plus
- 37:43Speaker 1: rate in four of his five outings. They weren't great
- 37:50Speaker 1: on third down or in the red zone, so they
- 37:53Speaker 1: can clean some things up week over week. But Penix
- 37:55Speaker 1: had taken eight sacks in his previous two games, then
- 37:58Speaker 1: none on 34 pass attempts versus San Francisco. Tampa Bay's
- 38:02Speaker 1: pass rush comes off a fruitful shopping trip, bagged Bryce
- 38:06Speaker 1: Young five times, and he wasn't a guy taking many sacks.
- 38:10Speaker 1: That's back-to-back games with five sacks for them, Al-Quadeen Muhammad
- 38:14Speaker 1: with one, Vida Veya with one, and Yah-Yah Diaby with
- 38:18Speaker 1: a sack trick.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Third down and 19. Young is in trouble again, and
- 38:22Speaker 3: down he goes. It was Diaby and Canty.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Bucs defense heads into Week 8, holding three of the
- 38:28Speaker 1: last four teams under 18 points, Carolina to 13, took
- 38:32Speaker 1: the ball away four times, held them to fewer than
- 38:35Speaker 1: five yards per play, scored on a fumble recovery, too.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Headed the other direction. It's Kalijah.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Can't see.
- 38:42Speaker 7: Tumbling into the end zone for a Buccaneer touchdown.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Penix lines up across from a secondary that just got
- 38:49Speaker 1: done holding Bryce Young, who was leading the NFL in
- 38:52Speaker 1: passing yards per game, to 163 yards, picked him off twice,
- 38:55Speaker 1: a low 50s rate, bringing their season rating down to
- 39:00Speaker 1: a nice 84, so they have confidence ahead of this one.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Young with time, and he throws a pick right into
- 39:06Speaker 2: the hands of Zion McCollum.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Gave up a 50-yard TD to Darren Waller, held Tedaroa
- 39:12Speaker 1: McMillan to 40 yards, though, and Jalen Coker to nine.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Kyle Pitts did score for Atlanta. That's a TD in
- 39:19Speaker 1: three straight, only 22 yards versus the Niners. Drake London,
- 39:23Speaker 1: with his first touchdown of the year, led the team
- 39:26Speaker 1: with 66 yards.
- 39:28Speaker 6: Caught, London.
- 39:30Speaker 3: Touchdown!
- 39:31Speaker 1: And then there's the Bijon factor, only 3.2 a carry
- 39:34Speaker 1: week seven for Robinson, 63 rush yards, but he caught
- 39:38Speaker 1: five passes for 59 yards.
- 39:40Speaker 8: He's caught Robinson up the sideline, first down and more.
- 39:44Speaker 1: He had rattled off five straight at 4.5 or better
- 39:47Speaker 1: prior to that. He's a dangerous man with the ball
- 39:50Speaker 1: most games. Bucs are holding runners to 3.6 a run.
- 39:54Speaker 1: barely faced any last week due to the game getting
- 39:56Speaker 1: out of hand early. Falcons special teams need to do
- 39:59Speaker 1: some push-ups after last week. Got to clean up some
- 40:02Speaker 1: of those flubs, missed extra point, shanked punt. Five and one.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Number one offense in football, rested and at home. No
- 40:12Speaker 1: place the Buffalo Bills would rather be, right?
- 40:15Speaker 4: Make some plays, baby.
- 40:16Speaker 6: It's showtime. Love you guys.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Play for each other.
- 40:19Speaker 1: They welcome the Baltimore Ravens to town who have lost
- 40:23Speaker 1: two straight, calling Lamar. Come in, Mr.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Jackson.
- 40:27Speaker 1: How's the ankle feel? Please tell us you can play
- 40:30Speaker 1: this week. Situation getting tenuous.
- 40:32Speaker 3: The fourth and two deep in Bengals territory. Here they go. Huntley.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Huntley throws. Incomplete.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You'd think to have a shot this week, Baltimore will
- 40:42Speaker 1: need to find a way to some points, maybe a
- 40:45Speaker 1: lot of them. They've gone for 24-plus points in three
- 40:48Speaker 1: of Jackson's four starts, have checked out with fewer than
- 40:52Speaker 1: 14 back-to-back weeks. 0-3 in the red zone last week.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Snoop is cool, and soul playing was fun, but he's
- 40:59Speaker 1: not going to win you any Oscars.
- 41:00Speaker 14: All of a sudden, a 15-point lead as Huntley's pass
- 41:04Speaker 14: is intercepted.
- 41:05Speaker 1: If Captain Antoine Mack has to go again, Tyler Huntley
- 41:09Speaker 1: did at least throw for close to 300 yards. It
- 41:12Speaker 1: wasn't that he had a terrible day. He helped them
- 41:14Speaker 1: convert nine of their 16 third downs, and Zay Flowers
- 41:17Speaker 1: comes off his third 100-yard game. 137 and a TD
- 41:22Speaker 1: versus Cincinnati, his fourth game with 80-plus yards.
- 41:25Speaker 2: And look at Flowers go, weaving and running and racing
- 41:29Speaker 2: to the end zone for a Ravens touchdown.
- 41:32Speaker 1: But once again, nobody else with even 40 yards, their
- 41:36Speaker 1: passing attack is Flowers or bust. Few aerial attacks are
- 41:40Speaker 1: as one-guy-centric as Baltimore's. There is a case to be
- 41:43Speaker 1: made that this could be a good old fashioned tombstone shootout,
- 41:47Speaker 1: just say when. Buffalo's defense has given up 29 plus
- 41:51Speaker 1: points in five of their six rodeos. Baltimore's offense, looking
- 41:54Speaker 1: at a group that struggled in the red zone and
- 41:57Speaker 1: on third down.
- 41:58Speaker 11: Trey Tucker just outruns both defenders, splits them right down
- 42:02Speaker 11: the middle, and Kirk Cousins puts.
- 42:05Speaker 3: It right on his chest.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Lamar drawing on a secondary that's given up a rating
- 42:10Speaker 1: over 100 and 285 yards per game. Safety Cole Bishop,
- 42:15Speaker 1: a 1-11 rate and 233 yards allowed. Cornerback Christian Benford
- 42:20Speaker 1: has been beat for three TDs, 234 yards and a
- 42:22Speaker 1: 100-plus rate.
- 42:22Speaker 12: Caught!
- 42:22Speaker 1: Touchdown!
- 42:28Speaker 3: Cousins got it there to Tucker.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Their pass rush, only 11 sacks in six games, a
- 42:33Speaker 1: low pressure rate. Don't blame Gregory Rousseau, though. He has
- 42:37Speaker 1: six of their 11 QB takedowns. Huntley took four sacks
- 42:45Speaker 1: versus Cincinnati. That's 10 in his three starts. Right guard
- 42:49Speaker 1: Emery Jones has allowed three in that span.
- 42:52Speaker 14: And Lawrence's day to go out and celebrate.
- 42:55Speaker 1: And man, the king still looking to get it revved up.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Under 3.5 a carry and four of his last five now.
- 43:02Speaker 1: Season low 2.6 yards per carry versus Cincinnati, just 45 yards.
- 43:08Speaker 3: And look at this wall.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Henry does take on a tough group to run on.
- 43:14Speaker 1: They've held runners to 3A to carry so far. What
- 43:21Speaker 1: about Baltimore's defense? Can they stop J.A. 17 this week?
- 43:25Speaker 1: They couldn't stop Joe Burrow last week, especially in the
- 43:28Speaker 1: second half. Allen draws a pass rush with 16 sacks
- 43:32Speaker 1: in seven games. They only sacked Burrow once on 30
- 43:35Speaker 1: pass attempts, gave up 35 points, didn't stop Cincinnati on
- 43:39Speaker 1: any of their five red zone trips, now allowing 24
- 43:43Speaker 1: points per game, basically.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Look at this. A walk to the end zone. A
- 43:46Speaker 3: walk to the end zone. The kill shot.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Ravens defense facing an Ocean's 11 type offense. The cast
- 43:53Speaker 1: is cool and do a great job. Dalton Kincaid, 52
- 43:57Speaker 1: yards per game. Khalil Shakir, 48. Keon Coleman, 47. DJ Moore, 44.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Ty Johnson, 38. But it's all driven by Clooney and Pitt.
- 44:09Speaker 1: Ravens have to figure out how to stop Josh Allen
- 44:11Speaker 1: first and foremost. who's throwing for 250-plus yards a game,
- 44:15Speaker 1: a 100-plus rate.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Look at this pass.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Touchdown!
- 44:19Speaker 2: Keon Coleman with a little flip and six.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Allen's taken 12 sacks, so two a game. They can
- 44:26Speaker 1: live with that based on his style. Between his line
- 44:29Speaker 1: and legs, he only faced pressure 31% of the time.
- 44:33Speaker 1: That's below average. He's hitting at 40 yards per game,
- 44:36Speaker 1: down low, on a fat 8 yards per carry, 8
- 44:39Speaker 1: rushing TDs. Has 17 total scores on his ledger.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Allen, they're trying to push him in, and they will!
- 44:47Speaker 8: Touchdown, Buffalo!
- 44:49Speaker 1: And then there's James Cook, averaging over 100 rush yards
- 44:52Speaker 1: per game on over five a pop with a half
- 44:55Speaker 1: dozen scores. It's a heart foundation level duo.
- 44:59Speaker 14: Still churning, churning, getting pushed, getting pushed across for the touchdown.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Maybe they could both wear pink cleats or something. Offense
- 45:08Speaker 1: putting up 32 points per game, a brawny six, five
- 45:11Speaker 1: yards per play. top 10 good in the red zone
- 45:14Speaker 1: and on third down.
- 45:15Speaker 3: Baltimore has played the run well at least, no issues
- 45:18Speaker 3: with Cincinnati, held them to 3-6 a carry, 73 yards.
- 45:19Speaker 8: Held Chase Brown to 3-5 a try, holding backs to
- 45:21Speaker 8: 3-8 for the season.
- 45:22Speaker 1: Burrow is no Allen though as a runner, But at
- 45:39Speaker 1: least Buffalo's wideouts are no Tees or Jamars, because that's
- 45:43Speaker 1: who their DBs struggled with. 62 yards and a touchdown
- 45:47Speaker 1: allowed to Chase, 148 and a TD to Higgins. Nate Wiggins,
- 45:51Speaker 1: tagged by NextGenStats for 71 yards and a TD allowed.
- 45:55Speaker 1: They gave up four TDs to Burrow in a half
- 45:58Speaker 1: of football, 292 yards for the game, a 140-plus rate.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Season numbers versus the pass, south of average.
- 46:06Speaker 3: Higgins, he caught it!
- 46:09Speaker 1: For the second week in a row, prime time action
- 46:12Speaker 1: in Seattle. Oh, you have a superstar having a great season.
- 46:16Speaker 1: People are talking about how good your team looks. Bring
- 46:19Speaker 1: them on in. As Adam Scott would tell you, Lumen
- 46:23Speaker 1: is where all your happy memories go to die.
- 46:26Speaker 7: Same sort of, I can't believe this is happening to me, look,
- 46:29Speaker 7: there it is again.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Chicago Bears off to the Northwest for another big showdown,
- 46:34Speaker 1: 5-2 now, and 3-0 in games the Iceman starts and finishes.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Safe to say the fan base is as optimistic as
- 46:42Speaker 1: it's been.
- 46:43Speaker 13: Since the Urlacher-Briggs peanut days. This matchup is going to
- 46:52Speaker 13: really show everybody where Caleb stands. On the road, the
- 46:57Speaker 13: 12s in his ears, a stout Seattle defense and secondary.
- 47:00Speaker 13: We warned everybody in their season preview, what if Caleb
- 47:04Speaker 13: completes more passes early on? How about a 71% completion
- 47:09Speaker 13: rate this year? Back-to-back 300-plus yard games since returning from injury,
- 47:13Speaker 13: 100-plus rate in each, two TDs last week, over nine
- 47:18Speaker 13: yards per attempt.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Call it glaze if you want, his arm looks as
- 47:22Speaker 1: good as any you'll see.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Extra pressure, look out! Escapes the sack, throws, caught at
- 47:27Speaker 4: the 31-yard line.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Last week's passing pizza mostly went through three guys that
- 47:32Speaker 1: are supposed to carry them week in and week out.
- 47:35Speaker 1: Luther Burden putting out number one vibes the last few weeks,
- 47:39Speaker 1: season-high 130 yards and a score a week ago.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Throws wide open, making the grab at the 45. Luther Burden!
- 47:46Speaker 1: Colston Loveland, back-to-back 65-plus yard games, TDs in both, season-high
- 47:51Speaker 1: 69 yards versus New England.
- 47:54Speaker 4: Caught, breaking a tackle, trying to get to the end
- 47:56Speaker 4: zone is Loveland.
- 47:58Speaker 1: And Romo Dunze had a rough drop, made up for
- 48:01Speaker 1: it later, 69 yards as well.
- 48:04Speaker 4: Catch is made by Romo Dunze. Huge clutch grab.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Bears offense hit New England with 30 points. They've scored
- 48:12Speaker 1: 30-plus in three of Williams' four starts. Finishing inside the
- 48:16Speaker 1: 20 was an issue last year and early this season,
- 48:19Speaker 1: converted three of their four red zone trips last week. Okay,
- 48:27Speaker 1: but now they see what the dark side is all about,
- 48:30Speaker 1: and I'll tell you right now, there are a lot
- 48:32Speaker 1: of Seattle fans who believe they could be undefeated right
- 48:35Speaker 1: now if it weren't for their own quarterback giving games away.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Held a Patrick Mahomes offense to three points, no team
- 48:43Speaker 1: has ever done that.
- 48:44Speaker 10: Third and a yard, Mahomes scrambles, throws it behind him, incomplete.
- 48:48Speaker 10: And the Seattle defense comes up with a third down stop.
- 48:52Speaker 1: 4.3 yards per play, no team holding teams to fewer
- 48:55Speaker 1: yards per play than Seattle this year. Not one red
- 48:58Speaker 1: zone trip allowed have allowed the third fewest in the NFL.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Three for 11 on third down. Held Mahomes to 165 yards,
- 49:06Speaker 1: no TDs. Five yards per attempt, a sub-60 rate picked
- 49:10Speaker 1: him off. Caleb tangling with a secondary. holding quarterbacks to
- 49:15Speaker 1: the fewest yards per game, fewest yards per attempt, second
- 49:18Speaker 1: lowest rate.
- 49:20Speaker 10: Mahomes chased by Imanwari, got him, and it's intercepted.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Hawks' pass rush only got to Mahomes once on 33
- 49:27Speaker 1: pass attempts, but they have the third highest pressure rate
- 49:30Speaker 1: of the season, saying it again for Bears fans who
- 49:33Speaker 1: don't know They don't blitz much, but when they do,
- 49:36Speaker 1: it causes chaos. Williams did take three sacks a week ago,
- 49:40Speaker 1: so he has taken seven in his last two games.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Right tackle Darnell Wright has given up one in each game.
- 49:46Speaker 4: Williams runs into his own man, and then a whole
- 49:49Speaker 4: bunch of white shirts gather.
- 49:51Speaker 1: DeAndre Swift has scored in three straight games, third highest
- 49:54Speaker 1: rush total last week, 78 yards versus New England.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Perfection and good patience here by Swift to allow those
- 50:00Speaker 2: blocks to get settled and then gets vertical.
- 50:03Speaker 1: He only averaged 3-5 a run, though. That's under four
- 50:06Speaker 1: a carry in three of his last four. Kyle Menungai
- 50:09Speaker 1: missed another game with turf toe. And now Swift has
- 50:12Speaker 1: to try and find room against a group that just
- 50:15Speaker 1: shut down the NFL's top back. Held Kenneth Walker to
- 50:18Speaker 1: 36 yards, 2.6 a carry, nothing fluky about it. Holding
- 50:23Speaker 1: runners to 3-5 per, only one team harder to run on.
- 50:27Speaker 10: Second and eight, he'll try the inside. Two yards, stuck
- 50:31Speaker 10: from the linebacker position.
- 50:32Speaker 1: That defense plus JSN. That's the formula for most of
- 50:36Speaker 1: their wins. Chicago should try triple teaming him every down
- 50:40Speaker 1: just to see what happens. Double teams aren't enough, and
- 50:43Speaker 1: single coverage is basically a waste of time. Smith and
- 50:47Speaker 1: Jigba with 150 yards in a TD versus Kansas City,
- 50:50Speaker 1: who has played the pass well, mind you. Jackson, 100
- 50:54Speaker 1: plus yards in six of seven games. 2K season, you're
- 50:58Speaker 1: on notice.
- 50:59Speaker 10: Sideline shot. JSN again! But he is having a monster
- 51:04Speaker 10: first half.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Who knows where that offense would be without him. A.J.
- 51:07Speaker 1: Barner with 42 yards last week. Nobody else with 21.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Seattle hasn't scored 21 points in back-to-back games. It's not
- 51:15Speaker 1: that they can't score. 29 to 31 points the previous
- 51:19Speaker 1: four games. But just 20 versus KC. 0 for 3
- 51:23Speaker 1: in the red zone in part due to Sammy D.,
- 51:25Speaker 1: throwing an end zone interception.
- 51:28Speaker 3: In the back, he threw a pick!
- 51:30Speaker 10: And just when we told you Darnold was doing everything right.
- 51:32Speaker 1: That brings Darnold's INT streak to five games. He did
- 51:36Speaker 1: complete 20 of 28 passes versus the Chiefs, over 250 yards,
- 51:41Speaker 1: a season-high 9.2 yards per attempt, and they converted 11
- 51:45Speaker 1: of 16 third downs.
- 51:47Speaker 3: On third down. Oh, are they going to do it again? Yes,
- 51:50Speaker 3: they did!
- 51:51Speaker 1: So, he's not coming off a terrible game. and he
- 51:54Speaker 1: avoided taking a sack on 28 pass attempts after taking
- 51:57Speaker 1: five in each of their previous two games. They did
- 52:01Speaker 1: lose tackle Charles Cross to a high ankle sprain, so
- 52:04Speaker 1: keep an eye on his backup. Bears defense holds a
- 52:07Speaker 1: 20-point-per-game average after seven games, 24 allowed to New England,
- 52:12Speaker 1: so right at the line of acceptable, not acceptable, when
- 52:15Speaker 1: you account for New England's offense having been on a
- 52:18Speaker 1: nice run prior and holding them to two for seven
- 52:21Speaker 1: on third down, coming up with a big end zone pick,
- 52:23Speaker 1: you can argue they can still feel good about their
- 52:26Speaker 1: most recent showing.
- 52:27Speaker 4: Pass to the end zone is intercepted in the end zone.
- 52:30Speaker 3: Soldier field roaring.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Now, giving up that end-of-the-half touchdown, that was a kick
- 52:35Speaker 1: to the groin area. What the football was that? It
- 52:38Speaker 1: played a role in their secondary, allowing over 320 yards
- 52:42Speaker 1: to Drake May, a 117 rate. They're now giving up
- 52:46Speaker 1: over 13 yards per catch in 2026. Most of any team.
- 52:50Speaker 1: 8.7 yards per attempt. Most of any team. Next-gen stats.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Tagged linebacker Devin Bush with 69 yards allowed and a touchdown.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Safety Cam Lewis, 61 yards and a score.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Making the grand touchdown.
- 53:04Speaker 3: And just outruns Devin Bush right there.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Darnold better keep an eye on Kyler Gordon. Who needs
- 53:10Speaker 1: Montez Sweat, though he is due back this week. Gordon
- 53:13Speaker 1: has gotten to the quarterback three times in his two
- 53:15Speaker 1: games back. Chicago with a nice 19 sack total for
- 53:19Speaker 1: the season.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Al, look at this.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Who's coming and who's dropping? That's what you're trying to
- 53:23Speaker 3: figure out.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Bears got their yard per carry average down to 4-4
- 53:27Speaker 1: after holding the Patriots to 4-1 a run. They held
- 53:30Speaker 1: all three of New England's backs under 4-2. They're sitting
- 53:34Speaker 1: on 4-3 against running backs specifically.
- 53:36Speaker 4: Through the middle. No, stop. Stevenson gained a one. Fourth down.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Seattle was hoping to get Zach Charbonnet back maybe this week,
- 53:45Speaker 1: but hey man, Emmanuel Wilson hit Kansas City with 100
- 53:48Speaker 1: yards and a touchdown. So Seattle's rush attack enters off
- 53:52Speaker 1: its best showing of the year. Tennessee Titans on the
- 53:59Speaker 1: road this week. Hey, it was fun while it lasted, right?
- 54:03Speaker 1: One game win streak, no more. They do seem a
- 54:10Speaker 1: little more feisty, though, so Cincinnati can't overlook them. They
- 54:14Speaker 1: didn't overlook a backup quarterback last week, though. And that
- 54:17Speaker 1: quarterback of theirs, well, he's heating up. Titans defense scrapping
- 54:27Speaker 1: with a Bengals offense that's lit the scoreboard up for
- 54:30Speaker 1: 27 plus points in three of their last four heading
- 54:33Speaker 1: into week eight. 35 last week, all in the second half.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Five for five in the red zone. Joe Burrow has
- 54:40Speaker 1: thrown four TDs, back-to-back games, 290 plus yards, and a
- 54:45Speaker 1: 140 plus rating versus Baltimore. 100-plus rating games in four
- 54:50Speaker 1: of his last five.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Burrow, down the middle, touchdown, T.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Higgins.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Tennessee's secondary has to try and slow two ones. The
- 54:59Speaker 1: one who wears it scored again last week, 62 yards
- 55:03Speaker 1: for Jamar Chase, TDs in four of his last five.
- 55:07Speaker 14: Burrow, going to go up top for it, going to throw,
- 55:09Speaker 14: back at the end zone, it's Chase's turn. T.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Higgins a bigger problem right now. 148 yards last week,
- 55:17Speaker 1: tripped to the paint, 90-plus yards now in four of
- 55:20Speaker 1: his last five.
- 55:21Speaker 3: Throw in a wobbler, but it gets there. It's Higgins.
- 55:25Speaker 14: Holds on for a big play that goes for 44 yards.
- 55:28Speaker 1: And what a run Mike Gesicki is on, scored for
- 55:31Speaker 1: the fourth straight game, has a TD in five of six.
- 55:35Speaker 3: Gesicki, and it's a touchdown.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Tennessee has to find a way to bother Burrow, and
- 55:39Speaker 1: it hasn't been easy. zero to one sacks taken in
- 55:43Speaker 1: three of their last four, only one on 30 attempts
- 55:46Speaker 1: last week. Titans do have 17 sacks in seven games,
- 55:49Speaker 1: that's solid, but only got to Deshaun Watson once on
- 55:52Speaker 1: 36 pass attempts, which made it hard on their secondary,
- 55:56Speaker 1: which gave up over 300 yards to Watson, his season high,
- 55:58Speaker 1: 129 yards allowed to Casey Concepcion, 27 points to Cleveland,
- 56:06Speaker 1: a group that hadn't been adept at scoring. Titans had
- 56:15Speaker 1: been tough to run on entering Week 7, then, versus
- 56:19Speaker 1: a back who had struggled mightily, gave up 96 yards
- 56:23Speaker 1: on 5-6 a carry, allowed two Quinshawn Judkins touchdowns, gave
- 56:27Speaker 1: up 45 yards to Dylan Sampson on 7-5 per, 183
- 56:32Speaker 1: rush yards when the day was over, 6-3 per attempt.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Burrow facing a secondary that picked Watson off. They're holding
- 56:43Speaker 1: quarterbacks to a low 90s rate overall. Their defense has
- 56:46Speaker 1: been keeping them in games for the most part. But
- 56:49Speaker 1: last week, the offense actually showed up. First game they've
- 56:53Speaker 1: been responsible for more than 21 points in a game.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Tony Pollard, the fuel, running for a season-high 129 yards
- 57:01Speaker 1: on 5-2 a pop, scored three times.
- 57:04Speaker 12: To Pollard, up the middle, room for Tony Pollard!
- 57:07Speaker 3: Pollard inside the 20! He's gone! Touchdown!
- 57:11Speaker 1: He's been good for 76-plus yards back-to-back games. Now, if
- 57:14Speaker 1: they could just get their passing attack going, Cam Ward,
- 57:18Speaker 1: 181 yards versus Cleveland, so that's fewer than 185 in
- 57:22Speaker 1: six of seven games. Under six yards per attempt, under
- 57:26Speaker 1: that mark in four of his last five, No TDs,
- 57:29Speaker 1: one pick, a 66 rate, sub-70 rate, and three straight.
- 57:34Speaker 12: Ward looking down the field, and it is picked off!
- 57:37Speaker 1: Again, it's not a sack problem. Only one taken on
- 57:41Speaker 1: 31 pass attempts. Zero to one taken in four of
- 57:44Speaker 1: their last five. And there's moments and throws where you
- 57:47Speaker 1: feel like you see it with him, just not enough
- 57:49Speaker 1: in a row. Can he avoid seeing the sexy Dexy dance?
- 57:53Speaker 1: Dexter Lawrence picked up his fourth sack last week. He
- 57:56Speaker 1: has one in three of his last four. Bengals planted
- 57:59Speaker 1: Tyler Huntley four times. They now have 21 sacks in
- 58:03Speaker 1: six games.
- 58:04Speaker 14: That's the kind of stuff that that bunch you just
- 58:06Speaker 14: said used to do, but this is Cincinnati and Lawrence's day.
- 58:09Speaker 1: Ward and company putting hands in the dirt versus a
- 58:12Speaker 1: defense that held Baltimore to 13 points. shut them out
- 58:16Speaker 1: in the second half, stopped all three of their red
- 58:18Speaker 1: zone trips, now holding teams to 20 a game, it
- 58:21Speaker 1: was a nice rebound after they gave up 24 points
- 58:24Speaker 1: to Miami before their bye, came up with a big INT.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Huntley's pass is intercepted.
- 58:31Speaker 14: Bounced around first time Huntley's been picked in a couple
- 58:33Speaker 14: of years.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Did give up close to 300 yards to Tyler Huntley,
- 58:37Speaker 1: 137 to Zay Flowers and a score. Cornerback Daxton Hill
- 58:41Speaker 1: on the hook for 82 yards in the touchdown for NextGenStats.
- 58:45Speaker 1: Carnell Tate has been the only consistent Titans pass catcher
- 58:48Speaker 1: to go for 50-plus yards for them in games. 69
- 58:52Speaker 1: versus Cleveland, that's 69 or more in three of his
- 58:55Speaker 1: last four.
- 58:56Speaker 12: On third down and 12, Ward looking deep for Tate, adjustment,
- 59:00Speaker 12: and catch!
- 59:01Speaker 1: As for Pollard, Bengals come off a strong showing versus
- 59:04Speaker 1: the run. Held Derrick Henry to 2.6 a carry, just
- 59:07Speaker 1: 45 yards.
- 59:07Speaker 13: Here's the third one, and again they stop Henry cold.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I mentioned when teams get hit with 10 flags. How
- 59:16Speaker 1: about the Bengals only getting hit with one last week?
- 59:19Speaker 1: May as well have spotted Bigfoot chasing a jackalope. Cleveland
- 59:24Speaker 1: in Pittsburgh this week for round two. They faced off
- 59:27Speaker 1: in week four. Browns exploded for 21 points in the
- 59:30Speaker 1: second quarter, 21 to 10 at half. Steelers put up
- 59:34Speaker 1: 14 in the fourth quarter, but with less than two
- 59:37Speaker 1: minutes to play, Deshaun Watson put Schmitz Creek in field
- 59:40Speaker 1: goal range. He banged home the dramatic game winner with
- 59:44Speaker 1: 10 seconds to play.
- 59:45Speaker 4: From 56 out. Kick on the way.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Kick has the distance.
- 59:51Speaker 4: He makes it.
- 59:53Speaker 1: The late fourth quarter dramatics a theme in Cleveland this
- 59:56Speaker 1: season because last week they basically just hit repeat. Watson
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: with his fifth game winning drive. Call Andre Neal Fallon
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: already because he's been pretty clutch.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: Snap is down.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: Kick on the way. And it is good. The Browns
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: do it again.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: The last time the Browns started a season 6-2, life
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: was like a box of chocolates. Watson, season-high 268 yards
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: versus Pittsburgh, pulled some rabbits out.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Of the hat.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Best he'd looked all year until maybe last week. No
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: TDs and one INT, but he threw for a season-high
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: 308 yards.
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: Watson goes back to the air, looking downfield. He's got
- 1:00:39Speaker 12: Concepcion for a first down.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Could have been more, too. Couple of big drops mixed in.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Over eight and a half yards per attempt. 25 of
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: 36 passing. Hasn't thrown a TD in back-to-back games, but
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the Browns offense went for 27 points week seven. Only
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the second time they've scored more than 23. The other
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: versus Pittsburgh.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: Sean Watson, stiff arm, touchdown to Sean. Sparkling again in
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: the fourth quarter.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Watson, 13 sacks taken between weeks 5 and 6, most
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: sacks taken for 2026, only one taken week 7 on
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: those 36 pass attempts. Browns offense gets a Steelers defense
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: playing tougher than when they first met, though, have held
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: the last three teams under 23 points. after keeping the
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Saints to just 10, held them under five yards per play,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: came up with a big red zone INT.
- 1:01:31Speaker 14: T.J.
- 1:01:31Speaker 15: Watt got back in the sack column, has five and
- 1:01:33Speaker 15: a half now. Not sure how he didn't add to
- 1:01:35Speaker 15: his forced fumble total.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Guess my eyes are bad and the ball didn't move?
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Pittsburgh didn't pressure shuck much.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: 21% is really low.
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: They have the lowest pressure rate for the year.
- 1:01:52Speaker 11: But a healthy 18 sacks for 2026 and their front
- 1:01:54Speaker 11: knocked down five passes last week alone.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: Their team leads the NFL and passes defense. Steeler's secondary
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: has been tough to pass on overall, did give up
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: over 275 yards to Shuck and France, 50-plus yards allowed
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to four different guys. Jamel Dean hit with 86 yards
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: per next-gen stats. He's been tough most games. Jalen Ramsey
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: gave up 71 yards. He, on the other hand, has
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: a 118 rate for the season.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Going to go one-on-one. Jalen Ramsey against Vele.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: Quick out.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: That's too easy.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Browns pass catchers Denzel Boston. Quiet week seven. Three straight
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: weeks without much. Harold Fannin with a huge late catch
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: to set up the game-winning field goal. Season-high 91 yards.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Fannin still going. Field goal range and more.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: And Casey Concepcion, he had a big drop, but he
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: made up for it. Some big returns on special teams
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: and a season-high 129 yards.
- 1:03:09Speaker 12: Across midfield and carrying defenders with him.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Hey, and welcome to the party, Quinchon Judkins. Pretty much
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: ineffective over the first six weeks. Hit Tennessee with two touchdowns,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: 96 yards, 5-6 a run.
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: They fake it to Concepcion.
- 1:03:24Speaker 12: Here's Judkins inside the five, and he takes it in
- 1:03:27Speaker 12: for a touchdown.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Steelers holding runners under four a carry for the year.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I'm no mathematician, but they held New Orleans to 18
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: yards on 17 carries. That's 1.1 yards per carry, if
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I'm not mistaken.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Kamara going to lose about five in the backfield.
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: Peyton Wilson on the takedown.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: From Paris to Pittsburgh, Steelers back home after spending some
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: time abroad. On a three-game win streak, Aaron Rodgers with
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: enough French connections to get the job done. Pittsburgh only
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: 16 points last week, had gone for 24-plus their previous
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: four games, only one for four in the red zone,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: need to clean that up. But they come off a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: good game moving the sticks and a great game running
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: the ball. Jalen Warren back on track. He's run for
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: 93 plus yards at 5'5 or better in four of
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: his last five after dropping 101 yards on the Saints
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: on 5'6 per carry.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Great job by Jalen Warren. He is so good upon contact.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Very hard running back to bring down.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: And they finally got the 1-2 running back punch they
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: had been hoping for. Rico Dowdle, 41 rush yards on
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: 4'6 a run. caught six passes for 45 yards. The
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: two backs accounted for over 200 yards combined versus the Saints.
- 1:04:41Speaker 15: And he's going to check it down to Doudle. And
- 1:04:44Speaker 15: Doudle has a first down.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: It's going to be awfully tempting to feed them the
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: rock plenty this week. Browns are giving up 4-4 a
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: carry for the year. After letting Tony Pollard go for
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: 5-2 a run, 129 yards, three touchdowns.
- 1:04:58Speaker 12: Pollard at the 5.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Pollard pinballs in.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Cleveland, the first defense to let Tennessee's offense score more
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: than 20 points, allowing 24 to the Titans.
- 1:05:09Speaker 12: They give it to Pollard, who's in for a touchdown.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Now, they are holding teams to 20 a game overall.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: They held Tennessee to 5 for 13 on third down.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Their sixth toughest inside the 20 so far, A-Rod dealing
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: with a secondary holding quarterbacks to the 10th lowest rate,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: 6.5 yards per attempt and 201 yards per game. held
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Cam Ward to 181 yards, 5.8 per attempt, no TDs,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: a mid-60s rate while picking him off.
- 1:05:38Speaker 12: Ward looking down the field, and it is picked off!
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Rodgers, subpar stats week seven, 212 yards and a touchdown.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Previous four games, two to three TDs in each, 235-plus
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: yards in each. Does not come off a subpar showing, though.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Could have had more yards, save another drop on a
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: long pass. He was on target when it mattered. was
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: just a game where he needed to manage, and he managed.
- 1:06:03Speaker 15: And look at the 42-year-old go! He gets a first
- 1:06:07Speaker 15: down with 2.35 to go!
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: The old man Rivers does it again!
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Jeremy Bernard cooled off after back-to-back 80-plus yard games, 27
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: in Paris, only guy with 50-plus receiving yards for Pittsburgh,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: DK Metcalf, 51 of 56 yards on one catch, He's
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: had slippery hands at times, but give credit where credit
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: is due. That was a nice catch.
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: And airs it out, going for Metcalf.
- 1:06:34Speaker 12: Got it!
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Only Watson has taken more sacks than Rodgers, has taken
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: three-plus sacks in three of their last four games, three
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: more last week.
- 1:06:43Speaker 15: Rodgers hit and sacked by Chase Young.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Brown's pass rush with 20 bags, sixth most. Only got
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: to Ward once, though, on 31 pass attempts. Time for
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the rematch. Denver Broncos at home this time. These two
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: played each other back in week one. Patrick Mahomes showing
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the knee was fine, a rushing TD, two passing touchdowns,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker's coming out party, 170 yards.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: 60-yard run by Ken Walker III!
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Bo Nix, only 131 yards, just seemed like a bad start,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: but it never got better. Aside from a 30-point game
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: versus the Rams, Denver's offense wasn't able to crack 24
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: points in any other game, Until last week.
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Crumbling pocket. Nick's on the move. He hasn't run it much,
- 1:07:32Speaker 11: but he's got room to roam.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Nick's broke off a 62-yard TD run. R.J. Harvey took
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: off with a short pass and housed it for a
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: 54-yard TD.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: Here goes Harvey. Unleashed.
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: On the move.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: There he goes. That'll be six.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Good thing no one caught Harvey because that pass, plus
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: a 47-yarder to Marvin Mims, 99 of his 222 yards.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: He completed just 51% of his passes, sub 90 rate again.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Denver only made it inside the 20 once, went 3
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: for 11 on 3rd down, against a bad defense no less.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: So don't let the 30 points fool you. Last week
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: wasn't the get-right game they're really looking for. And the
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Kansas City defense they take on did their part to
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: beat Seattle, held them to 20 points, have held three
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: of their last four teams under 21 points, and four
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: of six, number two in points per game at 17
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: per outing.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: Four come, Darnold, perhaps knocked out.
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: Seattle can't convert, they'll punt it away.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Chiefs stopped Seattle on all three of their red zone trips,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: makes them the second best defense inside the 20, picked
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: off Sam Darnold in the end zone.
- 1:08:47Speaker 10: They did give up over 250 yards to Darnold because
- 1:08:50Speaker 10: they gave up 150 to JSN, lucky for them.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: They don't face anybody of his caliber this week. Jalen Waddell,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: 48 yards versus Arizona. Cortland Sutton, 45. Aside from Mims
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and Harvey, the only other Bronco receiver or rusher with
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: 50-plus yards, Jonah Coleman... who ran for 54 on his
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: nine attempts.
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: Coleman gets the call, finds a gap, breaks a tackle,
- 1:09:21Speaker 11: stiff arms his way.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: If they give him more chances this week, he's up
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: against a KC front that did allow Emmanuel Wilson to
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: run for 100 yards on a hair over for a carry.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: He's on his feet. He goes to the end zone.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: That one was blown wide open.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: But 4-2 per carry isn't much. Chiefs are holding runners
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: to 3-6 overall. Still, not much going with their pass rush, though.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Didn't sack Darnold once on 28 pass attempts. Still sitting
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: on eight quarterback takedowns over six games. Nix only sacked
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: once on his 29 pass attempts. Mahomes only took one
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: as well versus Seattle. That didn't lead to anything good, though.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Three points from the offense, lowest total of a Mahomes
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: game ever.
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: Third and a yard, Mahomes scrambles, throws it behind him, incomplete.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Sent Kansas City's offense under the 24-point-per-game line for 2026,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: back-to-back games with fewer than 23. They didn't crack the
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: 20 once versus the Hawks, three for 11 on third down.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Mahomes picked off, only threw for 165 yards, a sub-60 rate,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: worst game of his 2026. And rebounding versus Denver's defense
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: at this point, like trying to get one from Rodman.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Three straight games without allowing 18, held Arizona to 16,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: 5 for 17 on third down, 1 for 5 in
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the red zone, down to 20 points per game allowed
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: for the year.
- 1:10:49Speaker 11: Mahomes has to try and dodge a pass rush that
- 1:10:51Speaker 11: got Jonathan Cooper.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Back, Broncos sacked Jacoby Brissett three times, hit him 13 times.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: They have the most sacks in the league and the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: fourth highest pressure rate, pressured Jacoby 50% of his throws
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: without blitzing a lot.
- 1:11:11Speaker 11: First and 10, messy pocket, down he goes. Boy, they
- 1:11:14Speaker 11: came at him from every angle.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: And when Patrick does have time, he is staring at
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a secondary holding quarterbacks to the third lowest rate, second
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: lowest completion percentage. kept Brissette to 5.7 yards per attempt,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: a sub-80 rate.
- 1:11:28Speaker 11: Third down 10, going deep, Brissette, and incomplete.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: They did give up over 270 yards to Brissette on
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: 48 throws. Did allow Trey McBride to go for 111
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: yards on 10 catches and a touchdown. The OG McBride,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey, 44 yards. Noah Gray, 44. Xavier Worthy, just 11.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Seems like a team that should be on the phone
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: before the deadline. Maybe Rasheed Rice comes back this week,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: and maybe Kenneth Walker fires things back up. Homecoming did
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: not go well for the NFL rush leader. 36 yards,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: just 2.6 per carry.
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: Second and eight, he'll try the inside. Two yards, stuck
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: to the linebacker position.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Denver's play versus the run last week gave up a
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: 29-yard run to Bam Knight, so gave up 6.9 a
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: carry to him on his seven attempts. held Tyler Algier
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: to 2.4 a carry on his eight tries, allowing 4-4
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: a run to running backs for the season. 11 flags
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: for 114 yards in their win over the Cardinals. Look,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: refs need their airtime too. Harrison Butker missed two field goals.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: He's missed five already, so there's that as well. I
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: saw a video of a guy who does a bit
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: that goes something like this. So the NFL can flex
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: two Sunday night games between weeks 5 and 10, right?
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: So Washington, Philadelphia at this point seems like a game
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: they could flex? Yeah, correct. So they're going to flex
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Minnesota-Detroit into that spot then, right?
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: No!
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: Base for the win. He's got it! Lions win it!
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: That was a battle.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: No, but Minnesota is undefeated, has the best D we've
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: seen since the Ray Lewis-Ed Reed Ravens, facing off with
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: an elite Detroit offense. Who wouldn't want to see this matchup?
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Jones gets pulverized!
- 1:13:22Speaker 8: Dallas Turner with an assist from Harrison Smith.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: The explanation is this. When the NFL called up Fox
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and asked if they could swap games, they had Dwayne
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: from What's Happening take the call.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Uh-uh.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Go ask CBS for Baltimore Buffalo or Pittsburgh Cincinnati. We
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: aren't giving up the premier week eight game. Vikings trying
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: to start 7-0 for the first time since the year 2000.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: The last unbeaten standing because nobody has figured out how
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: to beat that defense.
- 1:13:53Speaker 8: Dead to rights, Blake Cashman and Dallas Turner.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Showing vs. the Colts did nothing but make their season
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: numbers better, held them to 10 points, now down to
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: 12 points per game for the year, no team harder
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: to score a touchdown on inside the 20, third toughest
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to move the chains on, hardest to complete passes on,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: no teams rating allowed within 10 points of Minnesota's, held
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Daniel Jones to 108 yards on 4-9 per attempt.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Jones steps up.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Jones is going to chuck it out of bounds. There
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: was nowhere to go.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: So now here comes Jared Goff, Amonra St. Brown, Jamison Williams,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Sam Laporta, Jameer Gibbs. As Doc Holliday would put it,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: say when. Goff, 298 yards per game, nobody with more.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Highest rating in the game, 14 touchdowns for the year,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: a big fat donut in the INT column. Over 300
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: yards and two TDs against what had been a pretty
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: tough Green Bay defense.
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: Goff.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: Pressure up the middle. Throws over the middle.
- 1:14:57Speaker 7: It is.
- 1:14:58Speaker 12: Williams.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: He's in. Touchdown Detroit. St.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Brown and Jamo nice and warmed up too. The sun
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: god with a season high 153 yards last week.
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: Here's Goff on a play pass with a lot of time.
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: Let's it rip. He's got St. Brown into Packers territory.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Amin Roth.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Williams, 91 yards, two TDs for the second game in
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: a row.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: Using that speed, Jamison Williams lunging to the end zone.
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: He is in.
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: MJ style from the free throw line.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Laporta, Isaac Tesla, quiet versus Green Bay. The key to
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Goff being able to hook up with his amigos, will
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: he have time? Vikes pass rush, no team with more sacks,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: added four more last week.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: Jones is sacked.
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: Blake Cashman gets home.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Highest pressure rate in the game, and as most know,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: they never tire of listening to the ballroom blitz. The
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: line goes, it's not when is Brian Flores gonna send
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: five plus, it's when isn't he? He did so 85%
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: of the snaps versus Endy.
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: That's absurd.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: And so is a season rate of 70%. No other
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: team does it 44% of the time.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: Rush is coming, Jones.
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: That thing is a dying quail, and it's nearly intercepted.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: This is what they do.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: So what has Jared done against five plus? Six touchdowns, 70%
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: completion rate, a 123 rating, second highest among quarterbacks who
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: have six starts.
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: Great job by Goff at home, reading the blitz, checking
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: to the play, and they pressure off that side.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Middle of the pack as far as how many he's faced.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: He's taken 12 sacks in six games. And then there's Gibbs,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: who they could load up on to limit how often
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: the blitz can be used against them. No one has
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: more touches or first downs. He averages 45 yards a
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: game as a receiver, 103 as a runner, 116 rush
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: yards versus Green Bay.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: Stunt is picked up. Goff slides away. Oh, underneath Gibbs,
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: shaking and baking down inside the 20.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: And here's why he could see 100 handoffs. Minnesota does
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: have a Death Star thermal exhaust port, 4.1 yards per
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: carry versus running backs this season. It's small, but if
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: you can hit a Womp Rat with your T16, maybe.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: They gave up over five yards per carry to an
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: elite back last week, 95 yards and a touchdown run
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: to Jonathan Taylor.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: And Taylor could go! Taylor the acceleration! And he gets there!
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: That side of the ball has Luke versus Vader, Rocky
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: versus Apollo, Batman versus the Joker feels to it. The
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: other side, more like SpongeBob versus Squidward, Cartman versus Kyle vibes.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Except that Detroit's defense may have turned a corner. Brian
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Branch is back. They held Green Bay's offense to 17 points,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: 5 for 15 on third down, 1 for 4 in
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the red zone. That's back-to-back games. They've held teams under
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: 22 points, having allowed 24-plus their first four.
- 1:17:59Speaker 3: Taken down!
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: Not going to get there that time.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: DJ Reed makes the play.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: And one pride could see them keeping it going being
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: they face a Minnesota offense that hasn't scored 24-5 straight
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: now after only mustering 16 versus Indianapolis.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: This would have been a 56-yard field goal attempt.
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: Instead, it's Murray operating out.
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: Of the gun. And the handoff goes nowhere!
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Fewer than five yards per play versus Indy, three for
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: 11 on third down. Justin Jefferson, 44 yards. Hawkinson, 35.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Juwan Jennings, 34. Jordan Addison, 20. Because Kyler Murray just
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: can't figure it out still. Hits week eight off a
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: 150-yard game. Only has three touchdowns and five starts.
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: Murray was a little late and high with this throw.
- 1:18:48Speaker 10: Watch.
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: Right when Jefferson turns around, the ball should be on him.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Detroit's secondary, wearing rough numbers for 2026, but they picked
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: off Jordan Love in their win, held him to 6.1
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: yards per attempt in a sub-85 rate.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: They are still giving up more passing yards per game
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: than any other team, but trending in the right direction.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: And Murray faces a pass rush tied with his own
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: for the most QB takedowns, Aiden Hutchinson picking up their
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: lone week seven sack.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: Aiden Hutchinson, Aiden for breakfast.
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: And he just bends the corner like a paperclip right there.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Just know, Skull Nation, he's not a one-man show anymore.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Your old pal DJ Wanham and him tied with five
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: sacks each. and they have two others with three, too.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And they got their rush yard per carry average down
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: to 4-1 for the season, held Josh Jacobs to 3-3
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: a carry, only 36 yards.
- 1:19:46Speaker 6: Get it to him again. Looking for a seam. There
- 1:19:49Speaker 6: is nothing.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Vikings saw Aaron Jones leave hurt last week. Luckily, Jordan
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Mason was back from his injury. Nice 4.5 per attempt
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: in his return, 68 yards.
- 1:19:59Speaker 8: And now you're back in field goal range after the
- 1:20:02Speaker 8: 12-yard burst.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Miami Dolphins at home this week. No matter how bad
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: it might seem for Finns fans, they always have the Jets, right?
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: No 0-17 here, people. Got a one-game win streak to
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: work off of.
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: On fourth and less than a yard, and they've got it.
- 1:20:20Speaker 6: Miami's going to win it here in MetLife.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: New England Patriots in town. They may be coming off
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: a loss, but Drake May seems plenty capable of playing
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: the free willy role in this one.
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: I'm fake. He's going to run it, and he's going
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: to take it.
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: I mean, how about that effort?
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Dolphins secondary has to try and keep Drake from jumping
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: over that rock wall. He's been feasting four straight weeks now,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: 12 TDs in that span. Had that rough end zone
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: pick versus Chicago, but ran that one in that we
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: just saw. threw two more, over 320 yards, over 10
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: yards per attempt, completed 24 of 31 passes for his
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: third straight 100-plus rate game.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: Pressure again. May throws open, making the grab. Touchdown!
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: So goes May, so goes the offense. Since he's been hot,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: they've been good for 24-plus points. 24 versus Chicago. I
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: know some New England fans weren't thrilled with Josh McDaniel's
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: play-calling at times last week, but that TD they scored
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: at half? A stroke of genius.
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: It's behind him, looks for somebody, maybe the lateral. Steve,
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: look at him!
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: Look at him go!
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Yep, that sums it up.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: Ramondre Stevenson led the team in receiving yards, 48 on
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: that crazy TD, 93 for the game.
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: May throws underneath, room here. You never know with Stevenson.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: 17 of May's 24 completions went to running backs and
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: tight ends last week.
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: A.J.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Brown, 48 yards, hasn't cracked 50 in any of his
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: three games. Demario Douglas cooled off to 23 yards. Efton
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Chisholm III, 16. Eli Raridon had the TD you saw
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: earlier and 56 yards. Second 50-plus yard game for the
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: rookie tight end. Hunter Henry caught all seven of his
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: targets for a season-high 71 yards.
- 1:22:04Speaker 4: Fast, pulled in. Again, going to the tight end. That's
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: Hunter Henry.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Forgive the drool on Drake's chin as he peers over
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: at the Dolphins' secondary. They have not played the pass well.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Still giving up the highest rate and completion percentage in
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the NFL after giving up 287 yards on 9.6 yards
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: per attempt, three TDs for a 125 rate to Geno Smith.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: There are no air traffic controllers running that defense.
- 1:22:31Speaker 12: And this time Smith is just buying time, buying time,
- 1:22:34Speaker 12: buying time. Cannot come out of coverage right there.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: May also faces the least effective pass rush as Miami
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: only has six sacks. Had two last week, so that
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: was a good game for them. They allowed 25 points
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: to New York, which is right in line with their
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: season average. Pat's O gets the second-worst third-down defense. New
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: England's line. Anybody who saw that game saw that graphic.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Most combinations used by any team this year only had
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: three starters versus Chicago that started Week 1. May took
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: two sacks, faced a 42% pressure rate, which is high.
- 1:23:13Speaker 4: Six ended up coming, but they got in quickly.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: For what it's worth, next-gen stats only assigned their lineman
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: blame for half a sack for the game. The two
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: sacks he took were off blitzes. Pat's run game comes
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: in chilly. Their backs only carried a total of 13 times.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Nobody from the committee produced much. Stevenson, 22 yards, 3.7
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: per carry. Corey Kiner, 4 carries, 13 yards. Travion Henderson,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: 3 carries, 9 yards.
- 1:23:44Speaker 4: Here's a toss, here's Stevenson, and he gets swallowed up.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Okay, run defense is the one strength Miami has on D,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: or did. They're holding runners to 3.8 a carry, but
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: last week allowed Braylon Allen to hit it 6.1 a try,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: 104 yards.
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: They begin with a run play, Allen, chug play, as
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: he gets into the second level.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: But who cares about all of that? How about the
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: woke Miami offense? Sorry, awakens. 24-plus points back-to-back weeks, season-high
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: 28 versus the Jets converted all three red zone trips.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: Willis turns the corner, and he bangs his way in.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: For a team averaging 16 a game, it's like Finns
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: fans went from watching C-SPAN to Fast and the Furious.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: the first few pleas when they were more realistic. Malik Willis,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: two touchdowns, no picks, 9.9 yards per attempt, a 130 rate,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: by far his best game of the year.
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: Willis looking, sidearm delivery, into the shadows and into the
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: end zone.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Willis did take two more sacks and only threw 21 times.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: He's been tracked down two to five times in five
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: of six games. And I said more realistic, not like
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: really realistic. Miami's O, squaring off with a New England
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: defense that is holding it down to 20 a game.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: They've had three games where they allowed 26-plus, to Buffalo
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: and Josh Allen, to Jacksonville and T-Law, and to Chicago
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: with Caleb.
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: Willis, looking at a secondary that gave up over 300
- 1:25:13Speaker 4: yards to Williams, two TDs, no picks, allowed.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: A 100-plus rating. Sitting on a mid-90s rate for 2026 now,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: 69 yards and a touchdown allowed to Colston Loveland, 69
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: yards to Romo Dunzey, and 130 to Luther Burden plus
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: a score. Christian Gonzalez played. Look at that. He gave
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: up 56 yards and a 118 rate. Cornerback Marcus Jones
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: gave up a touchdown in 59 yards. Linebacker Robert Spillane
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: allowed 105 yards, all per NGS.
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: Right on cue, when you brag on the defenses, there's
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: a bust here.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: Oh, so you noticed Gonzo after that game? Nice. Former Duck,
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: so nothing but love here, man. This week, the guys
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: they tangle with. Chris Bell, only 25 yards versus the Jets.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Malik Washington, 27 yards. He's been their top guy. Caleb
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Douglas was tops last week, though, caught both of Willis'
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: touchdowns plus 70 yards.
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: Here's Douglas. Douglas breaking free. Douglas is going to score.
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: It's a 63-yard catch and run.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: And tight end Greg Dulcich. with a team high and
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: season high 86 yards. Patriots secondary, a little rattled ahead
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: of week eight. Front is not. They held Chicago to
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: 3-9 a run, which is exactly what their season average is.
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: And smothered at the 25-yard line. Patriot defense stepping up
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: here for a down.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Got to be ready for some Ollie Gordon this week,
