- 1:40Speaker 5: One thing Roan and I can agree on is that
- 1:42Speaker 5: a lot of our spending tends to revolve around food
- 1:45Speaker 5: and travel. Whether it's trying out a new restaurant, loading
- 1:49Speaker 5: up on groceries, or booking a trip, those purchases add up.
- 1:54Speaker 5: That's one reason the Chase Sapphire Preferred Cards stands out.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Card members can earn up to three X points on dining,
- 2:04Speaker 5: online groceries, gas stations and ev charging, plus five X
- 2:09Speaker 5: points on travel through Chase Travel, and three x points
- 2:13Speaker 5: on vacation home rentals through top brands like Airbnb and Verbo.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Basically, it rewards a lot of the things I'm already
- 2:20Speaker 1: spending money on anyway.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Exactly, and with all these new benefits, the annual fee
- 2:25Speaker 5: is still just ninety five dollars. To learn more about

- 2:50Speaker 3: You guys ready to rip?
- 2:51Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:52Speaker 6: Of course all?
- 2:53Speaker 3: Are we good to go? A?
- 2:55Speaker 6: Alrighty?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Today it's Tuesday. It's June twenty third. I believe if
- 3:03Speaker 3: I recall, yesterday was the twenty second, making today the
- 3:05Speaker 3: twenty third. Wow, and we are here live from h
- 3:09Speaker 3: Q trees. You guys know what it means, right, it's
- 3:13Speaker 3: present Tuesday.
- 3:14Speaker 5: You know what it means. And it's Tuesday.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I got a feeling its present, Tuesday.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Present Tuesday. This is not the present, that's just my book.
- 3:23Speaker 5: But I have presents for you both, little subtle flex,
- 3:26Speaker 5: I have a present for both of you. You're ready
- 3:28Speaker 5: for this? Yeah, I'm pumped. Oh oh, oh my god.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Each of you gets a copy.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Ironic CFT was making the same point I always make
- 3:46Speaker 1: to our employees. Segnare ball on the t for our enemies. Wow,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's a gem.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Right, is the autobiography of Dave Portnoy. Cancel me if
- 3:56Speaker 5: you can. It is not even out yet. It's coming
- 4:00Speaker 5: out in a week on June twenty ninth. You can
- 4:02Speaker 5: reserve or purchase a copy in advance today, which you
- 4:06Speaker 5: should do.
- 4:08Speaker 1: When I hired little Sasquatch, I thought this kid is
- 4:11Speaker 1: not only weak, he's gay too.
- 4:15Speaker 5: I wrote that.
- 4:19Speaker 1: What I thought we were done using gay as a
- 4:22Speaker 1: disparaging term.
- 4:24Speaker 5: So, yeah, this is the book.
- 4:26Speaker 6: Wow, unbelievable. Josh Richards has three chapters. Really, what the
- 4:33Speaker 6: hell this picture?
- 4:36Speaker 3: That's funny?
- 4:36Speaker 5: So that's the book.
- 4:38Speaker 6: They got the pictures right in the middle of it.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I need to see if the pictures all throughout
- 4:43Speaker 1: anti disestablishmentarianism.
- 4:45Speaker 6: This has to be a U word, Francis.
- 4:47Speaker 5: No, I haven't used that word since I learned how
- 4:50Speaker 5: to spell it in third grade.
- 4:51Speaker 1: New Mona, Ultra Micts, get chicks, silicon volcano corneosis.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Wow.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I wanted to see if I had I had a
- 4:58Speaker 3: book that I was.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Gonna you were going to go book for book.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I was gonna go book for a book, but I
- 5:02Speaker 3: got I guess I took it out of my backpack.
- 5:04Speaker 5: The silliest thing I've ever heard. I actually wondered to myself.
- 5:06Speaker 5: I was like, I'm going to give Harry this book,
- 5:08Speaker 5: and uh, what will he do with it?
- 5:11Speaker 3: Read it? Read it multiple times. I'm probably gonna read
- 5:15Speaker 3: it a couple of times today.
- 5:16Speaker 6: I'll be done. I'll be done by the time I
- 5:18Speaker 6: finished recording.
- 5:19Speaker 5: It's a great summer read. It really is.
- 5:23Speaker 3: What's that hardcover look like?
- 5:26Speaker 1: What is this versus retail for thirty six ninety nine?
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'll be selling for thirty.
- 5:31Speaker 5: Two bucks or something like that, but on Amazon it's
- 5:34Speaker 5: a little less.
- 5:35Speaker 6: Wow. Do you have pride in this book coming out?
- 5:38Speaker 5: I was wondering if you were going to ask me that,
- 5:40Speaker 5: actually I have? I have. Uh, I am proud of it.
- 5:45Speaker 5: I'm proud of having been part of it in some way.
- 5:48Speaker 5: I don't really know whether or not I was like
- 5:52Speaker 5: a net positive or not, but I still am pleased,
- 5:56Speaker 5: uh to have helped hopefully, and uh, I really wanted
- 6:00Speaker 5: to do well, So that's for sure. So honestly, like,
- 6:04Speaker 5: I'm proud of you for it. There's some great stuff.
- 6:06Speaker 5: I mean, it's I don't know. I like the book.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I've read it like a hundred times now and it's funny. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 5: of course it's funny. Uh, it's there's some crazy shit
- 6:18Speaker 5: in here that people don't know about. I think a
- 6:21Speaker 5: lot of the like business dealings behind the pen deal,
- 6:26Speaker 5: the book, yeah, the uh, some of this stuff, the
- 6:32Speaker 5: caller Daddy stuff, revisiting Grudgement Day. If you've been a
- 6:36Speaker 5: fan of barstool for a while, Uh, there's a there's
- 6:40Speaker 5: some great nostalgia as well as like you know, call
- 6:42Speaker 5: it like behind the scenes DVD stuff of some of
- 6:46Speaker 5: the amazing moments that we've had. There's funny descriptions of
- 6:51Speaker 5: like the key players, you know, yea. Throughout the course
- 6:54Speaker 5: of the company, you get a real look inside Dave's brain,
- 6:58Speaker 5: and uh, he doesn't hold back at all.
- 7:00Speaker 1: The story that he was telling the other day of
- 7:02Speaker 1: Sophia Franklin pinning Spider on the ground outside of the
- 7:06Speaker 1: Christmas party, Yeah, I.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Thought that one was never getting out, to be honest,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I was shocked to see that online.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that was crazy, and that's not I don't think
- 7:13Speaker 1: that's the only story of her that night.
- 7:16Speaker 6: Dude.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I remember hearing that story like right when I got
- 7:19Speaker 3: hired and being like, damn, that's crazy.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Like, I'm not gonna have to wrestle, I'm gonna have
- 7:25Speaker 6: to get in the fucking ring with Franklin.
- 7:28Speaker 3: But I heard Spider held his own, so that's good.
- 7:31Speaker 6: No, he had her in a fucking leg lock.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, took her down.
- 7:36Speaker 6: Yeah he had her in the Iraq nude clutch.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Yeah. Uh, by the book and enjoyed some fun.
- 7:44Speaker 6: They get the.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Picture on the back. I don't think has anyone seen
- 7:46Speaker 1: the picture on the back yet. Peaches and Pete.
- 7:48Speaker 3: I like the picture on the back really nice.
- 7:51Speaker 5: I think a portion of each book goes towards uh
- 7:54Speaker 5: animal rescue centers.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Would you say you're a Peaches man or a Pete man?
- 7:58Speaker 5: You know, every time I've met Peaches, she's snuggled up
- 8:03Speaker 5: to me and wanted love. Pete's pretty loving too, But
- 8:07Speaker 5: I just think that I don't know, it's hard not
- 8:10Speaker 5: to have your heart melt with Peaches.
- 8:12Speaker 6: He will just chase a tennis ball all day though.
- 8:16Speaker 3: He's a fucking definitely a Pete guy.
- 8:19Speaker 6: A sentence, just a one sentence out of context.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Okay, Alex Cooper was a self starter, not just a
- 8:28Speaker 5: pretty talking head. She was far more than met the
- 8:31Speaker 5: eye and had a vision for herself that extended beyond
- 8:33Speaker 5: the podcast. She was thinking long term, finding missing pieces
- 8:37Speaker 5: of the zeitgeist and filling them in a way no
- 8:40Speaker 5: one else had. If she presented Ditzie, it was intentional.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Behind the facade of lip gloss and platinum blonde highlights
- 8:47Speaker 5: stood an ambitious, enterprising woman with a fierce belief in
- 8:51Speaker 5: herself and a willingness to learn whatever skill is necessary
- 8:54Speaker 5: to become the absolute Titan we now know her to be.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That's a France, is a million percent of France.
- 9:02Speaker 6: I said, I actually no way that they could have put.
- 9:06Speaker 5: All those None of my work is in the book.
- 9:08Speaker 5: I didn't nothing. I'm not in it at all.
- 9:12Speaker 6: I could not have been lip gloss.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god.
- 9:21Speaker 5: I didn't have anything to do with that.
- 9:22Speaker 1: That was a heavy, poor friendlash.
- 9:25Speaker 3: That was a double. That was a double, was a double.
- 9:30Speaker 6: That was a quad. That was a quad.
- 9:33Speaker 5: I've heard that there's some very funny things that he
- 9:36Speaker 5: says in the audiobook, So that's another way you can
- 9:40Speaker 5: get the book. And he reads it himself, which is great.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Let's see, no.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Wonder it took him so long to read it.
- 9:49Speaker 5: It's your sentences, no, no, no, no, no, it's really
- 9:52Speaker 5: not his.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Joke, and I'm joking.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Dave knows I love to joke, and I'll be glazing
- 9:57Speaker 1: him like he was glazing Cooper in that sense.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I have nothing to say writing The book's great and
- 10:05Speaker 3: I'm excited to read it.
- 10:06Speaker 5: We're looking for the one other sentence of mine that remained.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It's in there, somewhere, It's it's somewhere deep in there.
- 10:13Speaker 6: How did you get these? Who sent these out to you?
- 10:15Speaker 3: You stole them from Barnes and Noble this morning.
- 10:17Speaker 5: They they haven't come out yet. They sent me a
- 10:20Speaker 5: They sent me a box at ten of them as
- 10:23Speaker 5: a gift for what I do for the.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Work, as your payment. You try to say, oh, it
- 10:30Speaker 1: was funny, Tan, it's funny. What what do they want?
- 10:34Speaker 1: They want you to give them out?
- 10:36Speaker 3: What if they send you like an absurd amounts, like
- 10:39Speaker 3: thousands come in to your apartment?
- 10:41Speaker 6: All I do is the island up your garage.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Is there heavier than your obsidian tables cracking through the floor?
- 10:50Speaker 5: All right, one last sentence, Okay, before Stoolapalooza, I didn't
- 10:59Speaker 5: have a clue whether barstool sports had traction on college campuses.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Within five minutes of arriving on campus at UMass, I
- 11:07Speaker 5: realized that Barstool Sports was bigger than I had ever expected.
- 11:10Speaker 5: The next generation had found us. They weren't just reading barstool,
- 11:14Speaker 5: they were gigantic fans. It felt like a movement. Everybody
- 11:18Speaker 5: at UMass knew who I was and was happy to
- 11:21Speaker 5: see me, happy to see Sammy Adams. It was surreal.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Now UMass is a powdered keg of a campus. It
- 11:27Speaker 5: doesn't take much of a spark for the students to
- 11:30Speaker 5: go from controlled fund to an all out blitz that
- 11:32Speaker 5: borders on booze fueled rioting. They actually take pride in this,
- 11:37Speaker 5: affectionately referring to themselves as zoom Ass. When we showed
- 11:40Speaker 5: up at Hobart, we didn't bring a spark. We brought
- 11:44Speaker 5: a barrel of napalm. Whoa thousands of kids were going
- 11:48Speaker 5: nuts around us. People started throwing bottles, climbing onto roofs,
- 11:52Speaker 5: telephone poles, executing daring wrestling moves from tree branches. It
- 11:56Speaker 5: was like they wanted to prove to us that we
- 11:58Speaker 5: had chosen the right place to build our nascent live
- 12:00Speaker 5: concert business. Not that I needed any convincing and as
- 12:04Speaker 5: we drew nearer to concert time, it felt like the
- 12:07Speaker 5: zoo knew that feeding time was near.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Good God, so they just took your name off it.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I literally like read two of the sentences that that state.
- 12:22Speaker 5: But it is it is all Dave's work. I mean truely.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Of course, I'm not just saying that, like there is
- 12:31Speaker 5: stuff in there that I would have been like, WHOA,
- 12:34Speaker 5: I don't know, and he was like, no, this is
- 12:36Speaker 5: the truth and this is what I want. So that's
- 12:39Speaker 5: what you get.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the amount of meetings and zoom calls where you
- 12:44Speaker 1: guys would sit in and go over everything.
- 12:46Speaker 6: It's like Paul and everybody like.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Kind of choosing the memory of it all was a
- 12:52Speaker 1: lot of work that you put in. So I want
- 12:54Speaker 1: to applaud you for the amount of effort that it took.
- 12:56Speaker 5: You're very kind. No, I mean I did all this
- 13:01Speaker 5: work over a year and then Dave redid it in
- 13:04Speaker 5: six weeks.
- 13:05Speaker 3: So well, it seems like he used to get outline
- 13:08Speaker 3: that you had. Maybe, but I mean if he left
- 13:12Speaker 3: full sentences in no.
- 13:14Speaker 5: I think I think, uh, it was always going to
- 13:17Speaker 5: just be chronological. And what was good was that my
- 13:20Speaker 5: sort of path that I cut, jogged, loose, some some
- 13:23Speaker 5: additional memories that you know, I have had it a lot,
- 13:26Speaker 5: but I'm telling you. I mean, there were so many
- 13:29Speaker 5: things that I asked him about that, like even in
- 13:33Speaker 5: his responses, we didn't they weren't there, you know what
- 13:36Speaker 5: I mean? Yeah, And then in reading what I had done,
- 13:40Speaker 5: he remembered like, oh, this happened, and this happened. So
- 13:44Speaker 5: it's hard I think when you're okay, well you're gonna throw.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Up, I should Well what the hell was that? I?
- 13:55Speaker 5: Oh?
- 13:55Speaker 6: Sorry?
- 13:57Speaker 3: You like, uh, yeah, it was like.
- 14:02Speaker 1: I had to lean forward to burp and the mic
- 14:05Speaker 1: was away from me, but the mic is also forward.
- 14:07Speaker 5: So yeah, where's the mic?
- 14:09Speaker 6: Yeah, but I can't burp.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I can't burp if I'm recumbent, I have to uh
- 14:15Speaker 1: sit up to burp.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Makes sense.
- 14:17Speaker 6: But I didn't. I wasn't. That wasn't intended to do, right.
- 14:19Speaker 5: No, no, no, I think that was a good reminder that
- 14:21Speaker 5: I shouldn't talk anymore.
- 14:22Speaker 6: That's not what I did that for.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Well, I know, but I know when I that's God's
- 14:27Speaker 5: way of being, Like, get put a fucking muzzle.
- 14:30Speaker 6: On computer, put a burp in his stomach?
- 14:32Speaker 5: What is that guy. Can you explain that guy to me?
- 14:35Speaker 1: I mean, he's just a master level troll who computer
- 14:40Speaker 1: Biden blast these people.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I don't think i've seen this.
- 14:43Speaker 1: He's I mean, he just goes around and fucks with people.
- 14:46Speaker 1: He's like, computer turn this dude's stick into a pretzel
- 14:48Speaker 1: and his ankles.
- 14:51Speaker 3: I love that.
- 14:52Speaker 1: My apologies. And he just fucks with people all day.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He is truly hilarious. You know what I just ran
- 14:57Speaker 1: onto on the streets. Uh, no cat on God for real?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Do you know who that dude is?
- 15:03Speaker 3: Sounds familiar though.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Last year I pride someone he like went up to
- 15:08Speaker 1: a woman and was like, when did you transition?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Oh?
- 15:12Speaker 1: And she was like I never transitioned. She was like
- 15:16Speaker 1: I'm a real woman. He's like, no, of course, you're
- 15:18Speaker 1: a real woman. Like yeah, but like when it just
- 15:22Speaker 1: does a masterful.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Job, No cap on God for real?
- 15:27Speaker 6: You don't know this. You don't know this guy. I
- 15:29Speaker 6: don't think he's fucking hilarious.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Because I know no cap On God, but I don't
- 15:34Speaker 3: think I know no cap on God for real.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Kind of looks like you Ron, I wish bro. No,
- 15:39Speaker 5: maybe not never mind. How was the Norway game last night? Yeah?
- 15:42Speaker 3: It looked sick.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Yeah, good game.
- 15:46Speaker 6: It was a really good game.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I mean, the dude Holland who scored the two goals
- 15:50Speaker 1: is an absolute Viking.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Are you doing the because I saw them doing it?
- 15:53Speaker 3: Were you doing it?
- 15:54Speaker 6: I wanted to.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I was trying to buy a jersey there. They don't
- 15:57Speaker 1: have jerseys for sale at the stadium. Yeah, I bet
- 16:00Speaker 1: they had like a T shirt and I thought I
- 16:02Speaker 1: was gonna add like one little stand, but I was
- 16:04Speaker 1: going to try to assimilate with my Norwegian brothers.
- 16:07Speaker 3: So you didn't. You didn't hit one row that wasn't
- 16:09Speaker 3: in the rowing section. Oh, you got to start the
- 16:11Speaker 3: rowing section yourself.
- 16:13Speaker 6: I was among the way. There are Senegalese near me.
- 16:18Speaker 3: As well.
- 16:19Speaker 6: They jealous.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Everyone wants to hit a row.
- 16:23Speaker 6: They definitely had to have been super jealous.
- 16:25Speaker 3: I saw it. I thought you were definitely hitting it
- 16:27Speaker 3: because it didn't look like it was just Norwegians doing it.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It was mostly Norwegians. Did you see the video I posted,
- 16:33Speaker 1: It's like all dudes in red. It's exclusively people in red.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, but a lot of them looking they were just
- 16:38Speaker 3: like people that just doctor jersey.
- 16:40Speaker 6: I don't know. I think that these are like legit.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Uh oiges you think?
- 16:45Speaker 6: Yes, I think that they travel. I don't think you
- 16:48Speaker 6: can be they travel with.
- 16:50Speaker 5: The team, so same, that's cool. Are they known for rowing?
- 16:58Speaker 5: Why is that their thing?
- 16:59Speaker 6: I think Viking Viking lore?
- 17:01Speaker 5: Yeah? Sure?
- 17:02Speaker 3: But where did the Vikings row to Iceland Europe?
- 17:06Speaker 5: Like mainland Europe. They came down from Scandinavia and pillage
- 17:10Speaker 5: raped and raped France, Spain, Germany, Belgium.
- 17:15Speaker 3: They don't include that in the row. Right about the
- 17:22Speaker 3: rap thing?
- 17:24Speaker 1: Now, if they were so proficient at taking what they
- 17:29Speaker 1: thought to be theirs, why are they so genetically specific?
- 17:34Speaker 6: Do you know what I mean? Because they were spreading
- 17:36Speaker 6: their seat? Huh?
- 17:37Speaker 3: Aren't they all inbred?
- 17:39Speaker 5: I don't know the icelandic where.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Yeah, they are a big time like.
- 17:44Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, that's why they all have like those eyes.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Didn't you say that? You told me, I remember when
- 17:49Speaker 3: I was going there. You told me you were like
- 17:51Speaker 3: you were like everyone in Iceland's related.
- 17:53Speaker 5: Yeah, they they What I had read was that they
- 17:57Speaker 5: are attracted to and sees upon hooking up with foreigners
- 18:02Speaker 5: because it's a guarantee that they're not hooking.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Up with some of their related That's what you told me,
- 18:07Speaker 3: I remember that that's.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Insane, which is why it wasn't great that I look
- 18:11Speaker 5: like them. I guess girls will quite stand up related.
- 18:17Speaker 5: You know.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I'm from Maine.
- 18:19Speaker 6: Yeah, Hi there, Hi there?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Would you like to have a beer with me?
- 18:26Speaker 3: A Core's light perhaps school?
- 18:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I don't know why they have such a rowing a
- 18:37Speaker 1: rowing culture, but.
- 18:39Speaker 6: It did make me want to go to Norway.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'll watch like the four K walk around videos of Oslo,
- 18:45Speaker 1: and it does look like a very beautiful and modern city.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Happened to Oslo?
- 18:49Speaker 6: What's it like?
- 18:50Speaker 5: Stunning? It's really clean, really nice. Everyone's views are beautiful.
- 18:55Speaker 5: It's expensive in a way that like feels broken. What
- 19:01Speaker 5: do you mean? I remember going to a seven eleven
- 19:04Speaker 5: and getting a Snapple juice and it was like tea
- 19:08Speaker 5: thirteen dollars?
- 19:10Speaker 3: What?
- 19:10Speaker 6: Oh?
- 19:11Speaker 5: Yeah? And I was like, what the fuck at a
- 19:14Speaker 5: convenience store that's inconvenient?
- 19:16Speaker 3: It was, that's insane thirteen dollars in the face.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Is that because I have tar tariffs?
- 19:23Speaker 5: Or that was in twenty thirteen, maybe twenty twelve.
- 19:28Speaker 3: It's got to be the imports, right, because like Iceland,
- 19:31Speaker 3: everything was insanely expensive, not that expensive though.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, they're probably so beautiful that they don't manufacture any
- 19:37Speaker 1: of their own things.
- 19:38Speaker 3: No, they don't do shit. When I went to Iceland, dude,
- 19:41Speaker 3: they're they're big on.
- 19:44Speaker 6: See you keep talking about Iceland. We're not talking about Ice.
- 19:47Speaker 5: We moved on from Iceland.
- 19:48Speaker 3: What are we talking about?
- 19:49Speaker 5: Norway?
- 19:49Speaker 6: Norway?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Same thing?
- 19:50Speaker 5: No, it's not same shit. No, Iceland people are not attractive.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Norwegians are very attractive.
- 19:57Speaker 6: Come on, the same shit, I tell your Iceland.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Well, we'll just pretend I'm talking about Norway.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Okay, when you went to Norway.
- 20:05Speaker 3: They drink a lot of soda that it seems like
- 20:07Speaker 3: we don't drink here, and it seems like they got
- 20:11Speaker 3: some sort of discount deal and we like gave it
- 20:14Speaker 3: all to them. You know what I'm talking about. I
- 20:17Speaker 3: swear to god, bro, they got The thing is, I
- 20:20Speaker 3: can't even I don't think I can say the name
- 20:22Speaker 3: of the soda. But yeah, it was like it was
- 20:26Speaker 3: like a soda that came out in America when I
- 20:29Speaker 3: was young. I remember it coming out and I remember
- 20:32Speaker 3: everyone being like.
- 20:33Speaker 6: This, you can say the name of the soda.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I don't think I can.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Since when do you get cold feet about offending a sponsor.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Since I was in some I feel like my job's
- 20:44Speaker 3: on the line. No, but uh yeah, no one drank
- 20:48Speaker 3: it and then they I think it's a theory. I'm
- 20:51Speaker 3: not sure if it's real, but it seems.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Like they gave it contraband spill out of your backpack
- 20:55Speaker 5: ten minutes ago.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Well, I mean that's just common mistake.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just smuggling. So it's like when they
- 21:01Speaker 1: send boxes of like.
- 21:03Speaker 3: It's like imagine T shirts to act literally literally that
- 21:06Speaker 3: it's exactly that rc COLA. Like remember when like they
- 21:10Speaker 3: did like doctor Pepper for men. You remember that? Yeah, yeah,
- 21:15Speaker 3: you don't remember Doctor Pepper for men. It was like
- 21:16Speaker 3: it was like this is for men only. Why no
- 21:19Speaker 3: one knew that was the whole It was like it's
- 21:21Speaker 3: just regular doctor.
- 21:22Speaker 6: It was just like it was a marketing campaign. Yeah,
- 21:24Speaker 6: it was just a marketing campaign of.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Like no girls allowed. And it would be like that,
- 21:29Speaker 3: like that didn't really do anything, didn't really make any waves.
- 21:32Speaker 3: And then it'd be like if we just gave all
- 21:33Speaker 3: that Tyesland for maybe like a million.
- 21:35Speaker 6: Bucks, I'm sure that happens.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I think that is what happened, dude, they had billboards
- 21:40Speaker 3: of a of a of a drink that I have
- 21:42Speaker 3: not seen in years, really billboards of it, and it
- 21:46Speaker 3: was the only diet soda that you could find anywhere.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Maybe they had just gotten it over there.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:53Speaker 6: It was late.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Some cultures are just late behind us, Like Canada's five
- 21:56Speaker 1: years behind, England's ten years behind.
- 21:58Speaker 6: In Australia's fifteen years behind.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Australia is fifteen years behind. Yeah, so what do they
- 22:03Speaker 3: not have? Like Facebook?
- 22:04Speaker 6: Yet they're hoping for it.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Pawa, New Guinea is one hundred and fifty years.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Well, that's a completely remote island, isn't it. Isn't that
- 22:14Speaker 3: the one with all the tribes?
- 22:16Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 22:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that place, I think if I think that might
- 22:18Speaker 3: be like imagine like if waking up on that island
- 22:21Speaker 3: I think is my worst nightmare ever.
- 22:23Speaker 6: I don't think you have to worry about it.
- 22:25Speaker 5: It's possible. It's not so bad.
- 22:27Speaker 3: What do you mean they're covered in like mud? Have
- 22:30Speaker 3: you seen that shit where they're like covered in mud,
- 22:33Speaker 3: blending in with like the waterfalls and shit, and they're
- 22:37Speaker 3: like they'll eat you. Why, there's like a guy with
- 22:40Speaker 3: like the metaglasses on.
- 22:42Speaker 6: You're not going to wake up on that island though.
- 22:44Speaker 1: That's like me being afraid of like getting sucked into
- 22:47Speaker 1: a wormhole or waking up on Mars.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Yeah. Wait, you wake up on the other side of
- 22:52Speaker 5: the world.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I guess maybe like being on a boat that's accidentally
- 22:54Speaker 3: drifting in that direction as the bows are flying in
- 22:58Speaker 3: over our heads.
- 22:59Speaker 6: Yeah, you're not at risk of that.
- 23:02Speaker 3: The blow darts, so.
- 23:06Speaker 1: You have to run to a waterfall and like dive
- 23:09Speaker 1: off to escape the blow darts.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Yeah, that's one of my great fears as well.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Speaking of speaking of fears, I went and I saw
- 23:16Speaker 3: Obsession last night. Oh after my after my friends denied
- 23:21Speaker 3: going with me multiple times.
- 23:23Speaker 6: We didn't deny. We just had work. We had work to.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Do at nine pm, or we had to work dinner,
- 23:31Speaker 1: three of us exactly.
- 23:33Speaker 3: You guys decided dinner over the movie. That's fine, nothing
- 23:35Speaker 3: wrong with that.
- 23:36Speaker 6: We had to eat.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I had to go see the movie.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You were slurping down Octopus tentacle like it was. I
- 23:41Speaker 1: had to go on Earth.
- 23:42Speaker 3: It was pretty good. It was pretty scary. It wasn't
- 23:45Speaker 3: as scary as I thought it was going to be, though,
- 23:47Speaker 3: which I feel like is kind of a reoccurring thing.
- 23:50Speaker 5: Maybe maybe just your tolerance for scary is getting higher.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I think I build up the movies in my head
- 23:56Speaker 3: like this is gonna change my life.
- 23:59Speaker 5: You don't have this a if this is weird? But
- 24:01Speaker 5: are you going to these movies alone?
- 24:03Speaker 3: No?
- 24:03Speaker 5: No, okay, thank you, Because going to a horror movie
- 24:07Speaker 5: alone at the theater is really dark.
- 24:11Speaker 6: Bab that's the scary. That's scarier than anyone.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Not anything that's that. But I don't think that's that weird.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I've gone to movies alone.
- 24:16Speaker 5: I've gone to movies alone.
- 24:17Speaker 3: I think I've gone to scarror movies. My buddy, my
- 24:20Speaker 3: one of my buddies, saw that movie by himself.
- 24:23Speaker 1: That's one of my greatest fears, waking up in obsession alone.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Going to the movies alone is fun, it's.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Great, it's not that great. I like it. It depends.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Would you, guys, rather go to a movie alone or
- 24:35Speaker 1: go and eat alone?
- 24:36Speaker 6: Oh?
- 24:37Speaker 5: Eat alone every day of the week, buddy boy, movie.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Alone for sure your case. If I'm gonna eat alone,
- 24:43Speaker 3: I mean, I guess you could make this argument for
- 24:44Speaker 3: the movie too. But if I'm gonna eat alone, I'd
- 24:46Speaker 3: rather just eat at my apartment, not me already, guys,

- 26:06Speaker 5: I love eating at the bar, at a restaurant, talking
- 26:08Speaker 5: to the bartender.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 1: I like to eat and not even talk to the bar,
- 26:13Speaker 1: to the bartender, to the restaurant tour. I like to
- 26:16Speaker 1: just be sitting there fucking brooding. Yeah, you're a big
- 26:20Speaker 1: Just stare at the wall. It's so nice, reset your brain.
- 26:24Speaker 5: Yeah, that's pretty good.
- 26:25Speaker 6: Eat some fish, but just nice to talk to the
- 26:27Speaker 6: bartender too.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Well, it's just you just have somebody to talk to
- 26:31Speaker 5: because you're at the bar.
- 26:34Speaker 1: I feel like sometimes they're like a captive audience in
- 26:38Speaker 1: a negative way, Like how do I get out of
- 26:40Speaker 1: this conversation? How do I get into it? Where do
- 26:43Speaker 1: I look to show them that I'm done? I'm finished
- 26:45Speaker 1: with them.
- 26:46Speaker 3: I used to go to bars alone. That's not fun.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Some people swear by it, though.
- 26:53Speaker 3: That is depressing.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Why why did you do that?
- 26:57Speaker 3: Because I wanted to keep drinking by yourself. No, it
- 27:01Speaker 3: would be like the end of the night and people
- 27:02Speaker 3: would be like, I'm gonna go home, and I'd be
- 27:03Speaker 3: like all right, and then I would walk by a
- 27:05Speaker 3: bar and I be like, I'm gonna get way more drunk.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Not even warmed up yet kettle of fish.
- 27:11Speaker 1: That's where I used to go, and would you chop
- 27:13Speaker 1: it with the bartender? Chop it with anybody?
- 27:15Speaker 3: I would chop it up with everyone. I remember. I
- 27:18Speaker 3: remember walking in one time. This is when I was like,
- 27:22Speaker 3: I was like, I'm probably drinking too much. I remember
- 27:24Speaker 3: I walked in and there was like two old ass
- 27:28Speaker 3: dudes like probably like in their like seventies, and I
- 27:31Speaker 3: walked in and they were like, there is to me,
- 27:35Speaker 3: and then they were like I was I remember I
- 27:36Speaker 3: was in Chicago visiting my sister, she was graduating, and
- 27:40Speaker 3: they were like, I was Chicago, like all this shit,
- 27:42Speaker 3: and I was like, I don't know who either of
- 27:44Speaker 3: these people are. All I have never met these people
- 27:49Speaker 3: and they get everything about me. So you need my
- 27:52Speaker 3: plans for the weekend.
- 27:53Speaker 6: You got ship face and just spilled the Yeah, ancient.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Dudes, I mean that's pretty much what I used to do.
- 28:00Speaker 1: That's basically what this podcast is now, essentially, Yeah for
- 28:03Speaker 1: your sober.
- 28:04Speaker 3: And then I got kicked out by myself one time
- 28:08Speaker 3: as well, what do you mean, oh you I see.
- 28:11Speaker 3: I think I don't know if I've told the story
- 28:12Speaker 3: on the podcast, but I was at the bar or
- 28:15Speaker 3: maybe I have. I was at same bar, Kettle of
- 28:17Speaker 3: Fish West Village, Great Bar. I used to go there
- 28:21Speaker 3: because like Bob Dylan went there like once, so I
- 28:23Speaker 3: was like, I'm Bob Dylan. I go to this bar
- 28:26Speaker 3: and and I went and they had a like a jukebox,
- 28:30Speaker 3: but it was free, like you could just select whatever
- 28:33Speaker 3: song you wanted, but it was like really old. They
- 28:34Speaker 3: only had like old ass music. They had a lot
- 28:36Speaker 3: of Bob Dylan, a lot of Johnny Cash. I put
- 28:39Speaker 3: on and like when when you would if no one
- 28:42Speaker 3: picked a song, the music would automatically go to like
- 28:46Speaker 3: the bartender's phone, and a song kept on coming on
- 28:51Speaker 3: in between when I was picking song, no one was
- 28:53Speaker 3: picking songs. So I was like, I'm just gonna play
- 28:54Speaker 3: whatever songs I want to listen to. And I put
- 28:58Speaker 3: on Knocking on Heaven's Door, and right when it started,
- 29:01Speaker 3: the bartender was like, man, I've been waiting to hear
- 29:04Speaker 3: that song for thirty fucking minutes. The song that was
- 29:08Speaker 3: playing in between that canceled when I played Knocking on
- 29:12Speaker 3: Heaven's Door and then he stopped. He was like, I'm
- 29:15Speaker 3: not giving you any more drinks. And then we had
- 29:17Speaker 3: to sit and listen to Knocking on Heaven's door. And
- 29:21Speaker 3: then he walked over and he pulled the plug out
- 29:23Speaker 3: of the wall from the jukebox and I was like,
- 29:26Speaker 3: and he was like, you're not getting any more drinks
- 29:28Speaker 3: and then I left. What Yeah, it was pretty It
- 29:32Speaker 3: was actually like humiliating.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Do you know what the name of his song was?
- 29:37Speaker 5: Do you remember what song he was so keen to play?
- 29:39Speaker 3: It was like you would hear the first like five
- 29:41Speaker 3: seconds of the song, and then it would stop because
- 29:44Speaker 3: I would start playing a song.
- 29:45Speaker 5: You were paying the jukebox the whole time.
- 29:47Speaker 3: No, it was free, That's what I said, free one.
- 29:49Speaker 6: Sorry, that's so funny.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and then they kicked me to the street. I
- 29:53Speaker 3: think that was honestly the last time I ever went there,
- 29:56Speaker 3: because then there was like a fire and then they
- 29:57Speaker 3: became a bar where like I remember trying to go
- 29:59Speaker 3: back and they just had like a cooler outside where
- 30:03Speaker 3: you could like pay and sit outside and have beers
- 30:06Speaker 3: out of a cooler. Because the whole bar was destroyed.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Mmm, probably the guy burnt it down or there was
- 30:12Speaker 1: an electrical fire because he told.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Ripped the the cable.
- 30:15Speaker 5: I'm quite sure I've been to that bar since you
- 30:18Speaker 5: became sober. So yeah, I think they fixed it. I
- 30:21Speaker 5: know they definitely did fix it. Yeah, but when there
- 30:23Speaker 5: was a fire at one point mm.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Hmm, no more jukebox? Was there a juke box in there?
- 30:28Speaker 6: Do you remember?
- 30:29Speaker 5: I can't remember. It's a nice bar. Sorry, they have
- 30:31Speaker 5: darts there, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's why we went.
- 30:34Speaker 1: I would love to get back to that bar, just
- 30:36Speaker 1: me and Francis, without you by me.
- 30:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that would be amazing. Yeah, you you really you
- 30:42Speaker 6: burnt it hard when you were drinking.
- 30:44Speaker 3: I think I just thought I was going to be
- 30:45Speaker 3: like like a poet or some ship.
- 30:48Speaker 6: You know.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I rewatched they they got they got any wood,
- 30:52Speaker 5: he got it in this juke box.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty much like what I thought of myself.
- 30:58Speaker 5: Oh, these modern things, music's going the hell?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that was me literally from like age twenty to
- 31:04Speaker 3: twenty two, twenty five, probably twenty two. I was literally
- 31:08Speaker 3: like I was like, I'm a beat, Like I'm like
- 31:10Speaker 3: a poet.
- 31:12Speaker 5: Dude. I remember driving with you somewhere and you were
- 31:15Speaker 5: talking about all the novelists you were reading, and oh.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I used to read those guys a lot. I
- 31:21Speaker 3: mean I read all their books. They're great books, but
- 31:23Speaker 3: they can send you down a dark path. They promote
- 31:29Speaker 3: a style of living that's not really realistic to humans.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Where it was becoming a nihilist basically. And then he said,
- 31:39Speaker 5: you know what, I don't want to believe in nothing.
- 31:43Speaker 5: I am just going to do nothing.
- 31:46Speaker 3: No, I don't think it was even that. I think
- 31:47Speaker 3: it's more so just like the they kind of promote
- 31:50Speaker 3: like a free lifestyle of like getting fucked up and
- 31:54Speaker 3: like traveling and doing whatever you want.
- 31:56Speaker 5: And who was the author that you liked to a
- 31:58Speaker 5: lot of jack, No, there was another one that you named.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Oh uh, Charles Bukowski, That's.
- 32:05Speaker 5: Who it was.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that that one I wasn't. I wasn't trying to
- 32:09Speaker 3: be Charles Bukowski. He's got a he's he's a bad guy.
- 32:13Speaker 6: What's his what's his main thing that he did?
- 32:15Speaker 3: It was nasty, drink and hit women.
- 32:19Speaker 6: Okay, so it's Chris Brown pretty much.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Yeah, great writer, the hell of a writer. Dance probably
- 32:27Speaker 3: have you guys know, have you ever read any Bukowski?
- 32:30Speaker 5: I have not read any Boukocky. I usually watch it.
- 32:34Speaker 5: I have. I've heard it translates well, but no, I
- 32:39Speaker 5: have not read any any of that, Chuck.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Have you ever read any kewak on the Road?
- 32:44Speaker 5: I have never read any Jack Kerowac. Weirdly, I don't
- 32:47Speaker 5: know why. It's one of those things that slipped through
- 32:49Speaker 5: the cracks.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I feel like you would like Bukowski more than Jack Kerouac,
- 32:52Speaker 3: just because Jack Kerouac is like very his grammar's not great.
- 32:59Speaker 5: I got an number of requests from people who asked
- 33:03Speaker 5: that we do not talk about tell you Rite Bush
- 33:05Speaker 5: anymore on the podcast.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Oh okay, well we're going to keep talking about it
- 33:09Speaker 3: for sure. That's not going to happen.
- 33:11Speaker 5: You guys have your own podcast.
- 33:13Speaker 3: We do, yes, but we also have this podcast.
- 33:15Speaker 5: You don't want to save it for that.
- 33:17Speaker 3: No, And we also weren't even talking about it. What
- 33:19Speaker 3: a weird time to bring it up.
- 33:21Speaker 5: You brought it up when five minutes ago, when I
- 33:25Speaker 5: was talking about Dave, you were like Bush.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they don't want that. That's that's that crosses
- 33:29Speaker 3: the line for them.
- 33:30Speaker 5: I just felt like we were heading down a slippery slope.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Got it all right?
- 33:34Speaker 5: As that noted, because by the way, I'm definitely going
- 33:37Speaker 5: to ask you about Bush in about ten minutes when
- 33:39Speaker 5: we run out of it to talk about.
- 33:42Speaker 3: There's not really much to talk about with Bush right now,
- 33:44Speaker 3: but but I heard that they are working on a novel. Yeah,
- 33:48Speaker 3: we're writing our first book right now as well. If
- 33:50Speaker 3: you want to have any part in it, we'd be
- 33:52Speaker 3: love that.
- 33:52Speaker 6: Wow, you should write tell your right book.
- 33:54Speaker 5: That's pretty good. Instead of pages, it's leaves on or you.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Guys got to get out to tell your d do
- 34:02Speaker 1: a pilgrimage have been like camp, I'm saying for the show,
- 34:07Speaker 1: don't tell me I fucking trade came through? How about
- 34:11Speaker 1: Giannis Brof. We're just talking about our other podcasts on
- 34:13Speaker 1: this podcast.
- 34:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I don't love it. As a Celtics fan.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I didn't even see what happened to are.
- 34:21Speaker 5: Always a fucking problem for the Celtics. They're always this
- 34:24Speaker 5: team that they see in the Eastern Conference Semis that
- 34:27Speaker 5: somehow takes them to like six or seven games and
- 34:30Speaker 5: wears them out for the fucking Eastern Conference finals.
- 34:34Speaker 3: He where did he go?
- 34:36Speaker 1: Nic went to the Heat instead of the Celtics. So
- 34:39Speaker 1: we're gonna have to rewrite the book.
- 34:43Speaker 3: On the Celtics anyway, guys.
- 34:44Speaker 6: A bomb, honest is a boom Yeah, that's official from sass.
- 34:48Speaker 3: What are they doing with aren't Aren't we getting rid
- 34:50Speaker 3: of someone?
- 34:50Speaker 5: Though?
- 34:50Speaker 3: Are we getting rid of Jalen Brown?
- 34:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 34:53Speaker 6: For your honest that was originally the plan.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I couldn't be more out of the loop on basketball.
- 35:00Speaker 6: Well, now you know how to tell your rye Bush
- 35:01Speaker 6: talk feels.
- 35:03Speaker 3: I wasn't even talking about Bush. I don't know where
- 35:05Speaker 3: this is, what's going on.
- 35:07Speaker 5: I'm just relaying what the people said. I personally love
- 35:10Speaker 5: to talk about them.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I could relay a lot of nasty, nasty things that
- 35:14Speaker 3: I'm not going to relay.
- 35:15Speaker 6: Let's let's lay it bear. Oh no, let's lay it bear.
- 35:18Speaker 3: I'm keeping it for Chase Sapphire tied to the chest.
- 35:21Speaker 6: Let's do for Sapphire preferred. It'll be good for the
- 35:24Speaker 6: show if you lay some.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Stuff, Bear, I'm not laying anything.
- 35:27Speaker 6: We want to make sure that they get banged for
- 35:29Speaker 6: their buck.
- 35:29Speaker 3: They're getting their bang for their buck. How I have
- 35:33Speaker 3: no idea.
- 35:35Speaker 6: I love talking about tell you right, Bush, brother?
- 35:37Speaker 3: All good? All good?
- 35:40Speaker 1: All good is Harry's shutdown word whenever he starts saying
- 35:43Speaker 1: all good.
- 35:44Speaker 3: It's true, that is, it's very accurate, it is.
- 35:47Speaker 5: And it's funny too, because that's what he says when
- 35:49Speaker 5: we start talking about tell you Red Bush and the
- 35:52Speaker 5: worry is that it's going to get them in trouble.
- 35:55Speaker 6: All good, Yeah, all good, all good?
- 35:58Speaker 5: So uh all right, let's talk about.
- 36:03Speaker 1: I think we need to do more. I think I
- 36:05Speaker 1: feel like last week was so successful going to Chicago.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I think that more team building exercises will be good.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Like what.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I mean the golf. Golf would be good, but Francis
- 36:17Speaker 1: is already locked in on golf. Uh, bowling is always good.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Bowling all right, I'm.
- 36:25Speaker 6: Fucking spitballing, bro, you come up with an idea.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Definitely not bowling. I'm not a big bowler. Every time
- 36:32Speaker 3: I go bowling, I feel like I leave in my
- 36:34Speaker 3: I feel like I need to get Tommy John surgery.
- 36:37Speaker 5: I would say use lighter balls, but weirdly, I could
- 36:40Speaker 5: see you being really good at bowling now.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I'm talking at bowl I think bowling might be one
- 36:44Speaker 3: of the worst things.
- 36:45Speaker 5: Somehow you have the frame for bowling.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Now, somehow bowling really like emphasizes every way that I'm
- 36:50Speaker 3: not athletic, Like it combines all of them into one
- 36:54Speaker 3: and then it's just like one Bowling stroke.
- 36:56Speaker 1: But I feel like you can fix it by just
- 36:58Speaker 1: uh get some shots in with in a low.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Pressure situation.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Like with the bumpers on No, I'm saying, like we
- 37:07Speaker 3: didn't we all go bowling together?
- 37:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 37:09Speaker 3: So are? We went in Boston, Boston before a live show.
- 37:13Speaker 3: That was I thought that was fun. Yeah, exactly, that
- 37:16Speaker 3: was what we were drinking. We were getting hammered. That
- 37:19Speaker 3: was more about the beers than it was about the bowling.
- 37:21Speaker 1: How about you boys give up your stand up comedy
- 37:23Speaker 1: careers and we just put all of our live show
- 37:25Speaker 1: efforts into Son of a Boy that live shows.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Where we start a bowling show, we do a bowling show,
- 37:30Speaker 3: and we wear bowling shirts.
- 37:32Speaker 5: I'll tell you what, son of a bowld ad.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you kind of got a bowling shirt on this one.
- 37:36Speaker 3: You could wear that to the alley. M Maybe you
- 37:40Speaker 3: wouldn't catch any flak with that at the alley.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Honestly that this is a Woody Guthrie fit.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I think Guthrie would be fucking salivating over your fit,
- 37:50Speaker 1: Very Rowan.
- 37:51Speaker 5: I have a question, Barry Kennedy, why are people so
- 37:54Speaker 5: mad at West.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Wilson because he fucked his his uh ex's best.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Friend okay, but if they stay together, will that absolve them?
- 38:10Speaker 3: I think that's usually the hope.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Yes, but I think that they The best friend said
- 38:16Speaker 1: that if she stays with him, she's weak, So she
- 38:19Speaker 1: basically put in a fail safe against them staying together.
- 38:22Speaker 1: She's like, if you stay with this guy, it'll just
- 38:24Speaker 1: prove it's the kind of person that he wants, and
- 38:27Speaker 1: it will just prove that, like he just wants this
- 38:31Speaker 1: subservient woman that'll just do whatever he says. So if
- 38:35Speaker 1: she stays with him, it's like a catch twenty two
- 38:37Speaker 1: of a self fulfilling prophecy that this woman, Sierra will
- 38:42Speaker 1: have said that, yeah, Amanda, you're weak if you stay
- 38:44Speaker 1: with him, So if she stays, she confirms that she's weak.
- 38:47Speaker 1: It was actually a beautiful trap laid by Sierra.
- 38:50Speaker 3: That on a show.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Yeah it was. It was on Summer House, and that
- 38:58Speaker 1: could have been Francis a couple times. Yeah, why do
- 39:01Speaker 1: you talk about getting recruited to do Summer House?
- 39:03Speaker 5: Dave asked me a couple of times to do that show.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Dave did no, They like said Dave, yeah, say damn.
- 39:12Speaker 5: The first time I remember was in probably twenty twenty
- 39:18Speaker 5: one ish twenty twenty and they.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Were like, those are the cocaine years on that show.
- 39:24Speaker 5: They reached out to me and they were like, and
- 39:26Speaker 5: by the way, it was like Carl and Kyle.
- 39:30Speaker 6: Who reached out.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe I even have the text. Wow, it's pretty funny.
- 39:37Speaker 1: I mean though they used to be on what they
- 39:39Speaker 1: maybe they're still on cocaine.
- 39:40Speaker 3: We've been admiring your body from a far would love
- 39:43Speaker 3: to get that on the screen.
- 39:45Speaker 6: Those dudes do have rock and bots.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it looks like that number one thing you need.
- 39:50Speaker 3: I think that's all you really.
- 39:51Speaker 6: Need to be on it is a rocking bob.
- 39:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Well yeah, I think that recently they've been like, yeah,
- 39:59Speaker 1: there's to have less rock and bomb.
- 40:01Speaker 3: They got any dudes that are just rocking like a
- 40:03Speaker 3: black hoodie.
- 40:05Speaker 6: On Love Island.
- 40:06Speaker 1: There are some new dudes who just who have bad
- 40:09Speaker 1: bodies just sweating. Yeah, there's like a dude who's like
- 40:12Speaker 1: when he stands straight up, his knees touched and he
- 40:15Speaker 1: has love handles, And I'm like, that's relatable.
- 40:18Speaker 6: The women of that is very relatable. Chopped, but in uh,
- 40:24Speaker 6: when you're.
- 40:25Speaker 3: When your hips are wider than your legs, you.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Just have an air bag over the lining of your underwear.
- 40:35Speaker 1: That's I mean, maybe that's disgusting to some people, but
- 40:38Speaker 1: that's what Love.
- 40:38Speaker 6: Island would be.
- 40:40Speaker 3: I remember when you said years ago, you were like,
- 40:42Speaker 3: you're like, my body's shapable water tower, like a golf ball.
- 40:51Speaker 5: I can't find it, but I'll tell you that. They
- 40:54Speaker 5: reached out to me and they were like, was it
- 40:56Speaker 5: Carl or Kyle? I think it was both of them.
- 40:58Speaker 6: Technically.
- 41:00Speaker 5: They were like, hey, Francis uh, I wanted to see
- 41:05Speaker 5: if you might be interested in joining the cast for
- 41:07Speaker 5: this upcoming season. First question, are you single? And I
- 41:10Speaker 5: was like, no, I live with my girlfriend. And then
- 41:13Speaker 5: they wrote, would you consider breaking up with her for
- 41:16Speaker 5: the sake of your career?
- 41:20Speaker 3: That's insane, that's crazy.
- 41:23Speaker 5: I'll never forget it.
- 41:25Speaker 3: And what did you say? You were like, you give
- 41:29Speaker 3: it a glimp a million views an episode?
- 41:36Speaker 5: I don't think. I don't think at that time the
- 41:41Speaker 5: show definitely not. It's grown well because of this scandal, right,
- 41:46Speaker 5: that's what happens.
- 41:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 41:48Speaker 3: I feel like just in the last year, I've just
- 41:50Speaker 3: like everyone I talked to, like all of my sisters
- 41:53Speaker 3: are watching it, like everyone.
- 41:55Speaker 6: It used to be one of those my Little Sisters.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It used to be of the lower tier shows over there,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and then over the last couple of years it has
- 42:03Speaker 1: blossomed into like the Alpha Predator show.
- 42:07Speaker 3: And correct me if I'm wrong. Is that the one
- 42:09Speaker 3: that has That's every Day? Or is that Love Island?
- 42:11Speaker 3: That's Love Island and you're watching you watch both?
- 42:13Speaker 6: Of course summer Summer House is over?
- 42:18Speaker 3: So you how is it over? Its Summer's just started film?
- 42:22Speaker 6: It was last summer.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Oh oh I kind of like that.
- 42:25Speaker 5: I like that.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was last summer. So now they're about
- 42:28Speaker 1: to start filming a new one. But Wes Wilson bailed
- 42:30Speaker 1: on it.
- 42:31Speaker 5: Did he bail or did he get forced out?
- 42:34Speaker 6: No? They would have loved to have him back. He's
- 42:36Speaker 6: a lightning rod. Everybody hates him.
- 42:37Speaker 5: I thought that Sierra said that she would I read
- 42:40Speaker 5: that Sira said she would not come back if if
- 42:43Speaker 5: West was on the show.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Well, they come back.
- 42:46Speaker 1: What's a recurring I mean these people have been doing
- 42:48Speaker 1: it for ten plus years?
- 42:50Speaker 3: Wait, so is this just like is this like very
- 42:54Speaker 3: similar to the show the show that Barsool does.
- 42:57Speaker 6: It's there was Barcel shows based on this. Okay, It's
- 43:00Speaker 6: like everybody just goes to and they.
- 43:03Speaker 5: Just get like fucked up and yeah, but you know
- 43:05Speaker 5: why our show is realistic.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Because they all work together well.
- 43:09Speaker 5: More because they're all like twenty three to twenty eight
- 43:13Speaker 5: doing a sharehouse at the beach where at this point
- 43:16Speaker 5: it's like season four hundred of Summerhouse. Yeah, they're all
- 43:19Speaker 5: forty and they're all in their forties going to do
- 43:22Speaker 5: sharehouses in the Hamptons and having like theme parties six.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Wait times the summer has it been the same cast?
- 43:28Speaker 5: See if I'm forty two years old and I'm going
- 43:30Speaker 5: to like a Revolutionary War theme party, I need you
- 43:35Speaker 5: to come find me and fucking save me.
- 43:38Speaker 1: Well, especially a revolution war party where everyone's trying to
- 43:40Speaker 1: fuck like if they're like, if you're having a Revolutionary
- 43:43Speaker 1: War party of forty two, there should be six.
- 43:45Speaker 6: Year old running around. Yeah, there should be.
- 43:47Speaker 1: It should be like a multi tiered family affair kids,
- 43:50Speaker 1: not like it's like the Red Coats and hit.
- 43:52Speaker 6: Yeah, like a cocaine room and like shotski.
- 43:56Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 43:57Speaker 5: I was thinking of a bit last night and I
- 44:00Speaker 5: couldn't quite figure it out, So I'll just share the
- 44:02Speaker 5: general premise. But like there had to have been bartenders
- 44:08Speaker 5: on Epstein Island.
- 44:10Speaker 6: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 44:11Speaker 5: Who were like, do you have ida? You know what?
- 44:17Speaker 5: Never fu.
- 44:19Speaker 6: Okay, this is a library card.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I think that's the joke for big parties.
- 44:27Speaker 5: They were like, you know what, just fucking yeah, ad
- 44:30Speaker 5: your book photo? There you go. Yeah, the yearbook.
- 44:35Speaker 6: This is hand drawn, is drawn and crayon.
- 44:39Speaker 3: It's the make loving one.
- 44:41Speaker 6: That's so funny.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Those guys, those guys are bad guysh I've seen in them.
- 44:46Speaker 3: Really bad.
- 44:47Speaker 5: But converse all stars you're wearing.
- 44:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm gonna in a cheap shoe of vortex, but
- 44:54Speaker 6: it's nice.
- 44:55Speaker 3: All shoes os are a good shoe.
- 44:57Speaker 6: This is a sub hundred dollars shoe already.
- 45:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 3: Let's talk about Shady rays. Quick question. How are my
- 45:04Speaker 3: Shady rays basically the same quality as the two hundred
- 45:07Speaker 3: dollars sunglasses I used to buy? And I'm not exaggerating.
- 45:11Speaker 3: They feel every bit as premium as the expensive brands
- 45:15Speaker 3: I've owned. Meanwhile, I'm wearing Shady Rays to the lake
- 45:18Speaker 3: on the boat, at the game, on the job site,
- 45:21Speaker 3: because if I drop them in the ocean, they replace them.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Knock them off the dock, they replace them, sit on them.
- 45:28Speaker 3: One day they replace them. And here's the crazy part.
- 45:32Speaker 3: They're actually premium polarized lenses that cut glare hard, super
- 45:36Speaker 3: clear optics, durable frames with solid hinges, clean classic styles
- 45:41Speaker 3: that look sharp without trying too hard. If you're outside
- 45:44Speaker 3: on the water in the sun every day, you need
- 45:46Speaker 3: shades that actually perform. Go to shadyrays dot com grab
- 45:50Speaker 3: a pair and get sunglasses with lost and broken protection.
- 45:53Speaker 3: We've teamed up with shady Rays to bring you an
- 45:55Speaker 3: exclusive offer. Head to shadyrays dot com use code Dad
- 46:00Speaker 3: for fifty percent off two or more pairs of polarized sunglasses.
- 46:05Speaker 3: Try for yourself that the shades rated at five stars
- 46:09Speaker 3: by over three hundred thousand people. Shady rays dot com
- 46:13Speaker 3: use code Dad. When I was in I think eighth grade,
- 46:17Speaker 3: BO and I got in a blowout argument, like I
- 46:21Speaker 3: think we didn't speak for a couple of weeks about
- 46:24Speaker 3: if Converse or New Balance. It was about BO said
- 46:29Speaker 3: he got a pair of New Balances and he said
- 46:31Speaker 3: that New Balances were the most American shoe and he
- 46:35Speaker 3: and I was like, I don't know about that. I
- 46:37Speaker 3: was like, I think Converse are and then it was
- 46:40Speaker 3: like a back and forth. How long ago was this
- 46:43Speaker 3: I was in eighth grade. Because New Balance I think
- 46:46Speaker 3: the nine to ninety threes are manufactured in America.
- 46:49Speaker 5: They make a whole line of shoes that are still
- 46:51Speaker 5: made in America. Yeah yeah, but then the rest are
- 46:53Speaker 5: probably made in China.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Yeah, we're a converse made I think not in America.
- 46:59Speaker 5: I agree. You can't sell shoes for fourteen dollars if
- 47:03Speaker 5: they're made in America.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Now, yeah, the New Balances that are made in America
- 47:07Speaker 1: cost like five hundred dollars.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but he didn't have those, so, but you had
- 47:12Speaker 3: the ones that are made in fun.
- 47:13Speaker 6: Was he arguing for the brand as a whole or
- 47:15Speaker 6: the ones he had on?
- 47:17Speaker 3: He was arguing for the brand as a whole, but
- 47:19Speaker 3: he was referencing the ones that are made in America.
- 47:22Speaker 3: But I was like, you don't have the ones that
- 47:23Speaker 3: are made in America, truly.
- 47:25Speaker 1: The most American shoes are probably like Hey Dudes or something.
- 47:28Speaker 3: Like yeah, yeah probably.
- 47:29Speaker 1: It's like if you rock those in Europe, people haven't
- 47:34Speaker 1: seen those yet.
- 47:34Speaker 3: You don't think they got those down on.
- 47:40Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I feel like they probably got him in like.
- 47:42Speaker 6: Australia, the Hey Dudes down Onda.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Yeah, probably maybe the where are those from?
- 47:47Speaker 6: The Crocs? I think are pretty American?
- 47:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, ah, German Crocks. I think they might be German.
- 47:55Speaker 6: Really, I don't know.
- 47:56Speaker 3: I'm just totally making sit up.
- 47:59Speaker 5: You know.
- 47:59Speaker 6: A country has my eye right now is Poland? Oh yeah,
- 48:03Speaker 6: why because I saw Instagram?
- 48:05Speaker 3: Oh Crocs, Boulder, Colorado.
- 48:08Speaker 6: Italian ride Crocs.
- 48:09Speaker 3: That was what I was going to say.
- 48:11Speaker 5: After Germany has been acquired by Crocs.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Holy shit.
- 48:19Speaker 6: Called bo small world.
- 48:20Speaker 3: We had Bow on the line, Get Bow and Joe
- 48:23Speaker 3: on the line.
- 48:24Speaker 5: Originally originally, Hey, dudes are from Italy. They were designed
- 48:28Speaker 5: in Italy.
- 48:29Speaker 3: No way, can we get a Google on converse just
- 48:33Speaker 3: like where they you know? Or maybe just like what's
- 48:37Speaker 3: the most American shoe as well?
- 48:39Speaker 5: My guess would be converse?
- 48:41Speaker 3: Oh Massachusetts Converse. Now we're talking, we're talking meme. His asked,
- 48:48Speaker 3: what about Steve Madden? Those are pretty American Wolf of
- 48:51Speaker 3: Wall Streets.
- 48:51Speaker 5: I was gonna say, like red Wing, Look we were
- 48:55Speaker 5: we were both definitely wrong.
- 48:58Speaker 1: New Balance is number one on that on this number one.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Oh I'm losing a multi multi decade old argument right now. Wow, Yeah,
- 49:12Speaker 3: that's tough. I just proved myself wrong. Bo number one.
- 49:16Speaker 5: Should I send Bow a copy of the book?
- 49:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, definitely. I think he might already have one.
- 49:20Speaker 5: You think he pre ordered, Well, hasn't come out yet.
- 49:24Speaker 5: Pre order.
- 49:25Speaker 6: Well, that's not how him having one counts as What.
- 49:28Speaker 5: Do you mean when you're what do you explain what
- 49:30Speaker 5: you're saying?
- 49:31Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know what I'm saying. That's
- 49:36Speaker 3: the whole show.
- 49:39Speaker 6: That's why they keep on coming back. That's why I chase, like, yeah,
- 49:43Speaker 6: this guy doesn't be mad.
- 49:45Speaker 3: They can say I know I'm wrong. I'm not trying
- 49:48Speaker 3: to be right.
- 49:49Speaker 6: Right, even you think you're wrong, I know I'm wrong.
- 49:52Speaker 6: That's a Jay Williams saying.
- 49:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:54Speaker 1: He says, I don't even think I'm right. Yeah, I
- 49:56Speaker 1: don't even think I'm right most of the time.
- 49:57Speaker 5: Oh man, that's funny.
- 49:59Speaker 3: Oh man, I so this is funny. Yesterday, so casually
- 50:03Speaker 3: we're leaving the office and I think you were friends.
- 50:06Speaker 3: I think you had to do another ad or something.
- 50:09Speaker 3: I don't know. Me and Rome were walking out together
- 50:11Speaker 3: and I pulled out my lanyard to show Roan I
- 50:14Speaker 3: brought my I was like, I got I left my
- 50:17Speaker 3: apartment this morning, grabbed my lanyard, leave the door, get
- 50:20Speaker 3: the lanyard. No keys attached to the lanyard, It's just
- 50:24Speaker 3: the lanyard. And Rome was like, oh shity, like what
- 50:28Speaker 3: are you gonna do? And I was like, I'm not worried.
- 50:30Speaker 5: I'm bad.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Like they got like an office next to my building,
- 50:33Speaker 3: like I'm sure, I will just let me in. I
- 50:35Speaker 3: had to stand in the rain for an hour and
- 50:38Speaker 3: wait for a locksmith to come. Office was shut down.
- 50:43Speaker 3: It was hell, I.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Just can't go to a bar. No, no, you banned
- 50:47Speaker 6: yourself from all bars.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Well the thing was like. I was like, maybe I'll
- 50:49Speaker 3: go get some food. But then I was like, well,
- 50:51Speaker 3: the locksmith has no way of getting in touch with
- 50:53Speaker 3: me because the building reached. I called the building, they
- 50:56Speaker 3: called the locksmith.
- 50:58Speaker 6: Yesterday's rain was biblical.
- 50:59Speaker 3: It was biblical.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I started walking home yesterday, or I started walking to
- 51:03Speaker 1: the subway yesterday, and I was like, you know what,
- 51:06Speaker 1: it's starting to let up. Let me hop on a bike.
- 51:08Speaker 5: I biked through it too, wrong decision. I bike through
- 51:11Speaker 5: it too. I took my shirt off afterwards. The entire
- 51:14Speaker 5: back was just spattered in black rain water from the fuck.
- 51:18Speaker 6: It's so gross.
- 51:20Speaker 1: At the bridge, I tried to hang it up to
- 51:21Speaker 1: dry it. Today, my shirt is still wet this morning.
- 51:25Speaker 1: It's still dense with rain. I was wearing white pants.
- 51:28Speaker 1: You could see through to like like you could see
- 51:30Speaker 1: the cards in my wallet. You could see everything.
- 51:34Speaker 3: At one point I walked over to the deli. I
- 51:36Speaker 3: was like, maybe we'll see if they have an umbrella.
- 51:38Speaker 3: No umbrella, just walk back in the rain.
- 51:41Speaker 5: I get a well once you got to a certain point.
- 51:46Speaker 5: After a minute, I was like, I'm at terminal velocity wetness.
- 51:49Speaker 3: Yeah, you hit your peak.
- 51:51Speaker 5: Yeah. My pants, I was wearing heavy jeans.
- 51:54Speaker 3: Yeah, those don't feel good, especially about your biking.
- 51:57Speaker 5: No, they were.
- 51:58Speaker 6: Probably pay twenty pounds by the time you were done.
- 52:02Speaker 5: Yeah. My dorman when I walked in, he was like, wow,
- 52:05Speaker 5: looks bad out there. I'm like, yeah, I just also
- 52:08Speaker 5: made horrible decisions. Yeah.
- 52:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I was like to hit people with it. You
- 52:12Speaker 6: know it's raining out. It was, yeah, choked.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Walking in my fucking daffy duck in there. It was brutal,
- 52:21Speaker 1: and I the whole time, it's in my head. How
- 52:23Speaker 1: long you.
- 52:24Speaker 6: Said it takes to get to MetLife.
- 52:26Speaker 1: It's so I was fucking bugging Yeah, how was that
- 52:28Speaker 1: it wasn't that bad honestly, get in there. How long
- 52:32Speaker 1: the time went up, It was probably like an hour
- 52:36Speaker 1: thirty to get from door to actually yeah, probably our
- 52:41Speaker 1: hour twenty hour thirty. We walked in, had the beer,
- 52:44Speaker 1: walked in as they did the countdown to the first
- 52:47Speaker 1: Oh hell yeah. So I didn't really miss anything. And
- 52:49Speaker 1: then getting out was just I made a fucking like
- 52:53Speaker 1: it was the perfect exit. It feels so good to leave,
- 52:56Speaker 1: like right at the perfect time, go out the right exit,
- 53:00Speaker 1: hit a fucking single lick of traffic on the way
- 53:02Speaker 1: back back in forty minutes.
- 53:04Speaker 5: Nice.
- 53:04Speaker 6: It felt so triumphant. That felt like such a fucking man.
- 53:08Speaker 3: Love that. Glad to hear it was a success.
- 53:11Speaker 1: People are shitting on the take, and it was a
- 53:13Speaker 1: facetious take. But that World Cup is better than SEC football.
- 53:17Speaker 1: But uh, it was pretty fucking awesome. It's like SEC
- 53:21Speaker 1: football is great. Have you ever won ton SEC game?
- 53:23Speaker 3: I've never been to an SEC game.
- 53:24Speaker 5: No, I don't like SEC's.
- 53:29Speaker 1: Yeah, with all the tax filing and stuff, you always
- 53:31Speaker 1: have been at odds with the SEC. Yeah, But I
- 53:34Speaker 1: think that that it was like nobody was like super
- 53:38Speaker 1: fucked up. Nobody was like stumbling falling over drunk and
- 53:42Speaker 1: in the SEC everybody is super fucked up. It was
- 53:46Speaker 1: like women in Houndstooth who are fucking as drunk as possible.
- 53:50Speaker 1: There was like sixty five year old women who are
- 53:52Speaker 1: like about to fall face first into a key line
- 53:55Speaker 1: pie at an SEC game like nobody.
- 53:58Speaker 6: It's like a ninety minute game. It's pretty tight. You're
- 54:00Speaker 6: kind of in and out. It's nice.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I thought that it was. It left me craving more football.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'd like football or football football. Yeah, I'd like to
- 54:10Speaker 1: go to maybe maybe that's an adventure for us. Maybe
- 54:12Speaker 1: we go to across the pond Okay to a football game.
- 54:17Speaker 3: I would love to do that. That'd be fun.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Well go to the what's the like the Dublin Derby
- 54:23Speaker 1: or some shit like that like that.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Oh well, in Scotland it's like Hearts versus Rangers.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I think I think we got to go to like
- 54:34Speaker 3: a Manchester game.
- 54:36Speaker 6: Man City's my squah. Now I've been.
- 54:38Speaker 5: I went. I went and saw Liverpool City with my
- 54:43Speaker 5: dad like five six years ago at anfield. It wasn't amazing, unbelievable.
- 54:48Speaker 5: And then in probably twenty two thousand and ten I
- 54:54Speaker 5: saw Liverpool United at Old Trafford.
- 54:57Speaker 3: So would like a game like that be like razier
- 55:00Speaker 3: than like a game where like Argentina plays.
- 55:04Speaker 5: Well, what's I mean? What's fun about that is that
- 55:07Speaker 5: there truly is a home team. Yeah, and there's so
- 55:11Speaker 5: much unison between the home fans. Although I'm hearing that
- 55:16Speaker 5: some of these World Cup games, like the stadium is
- 55:19Speaker 5: heavily favored to one side.
- 55:21Speaker 1: There was definitely a bigger Norway crowd versus Senegal, right,
- 55:27Speaker 1: And I think that there's more tourists, like I didn't
- 55:32Speaker 1: have a dog in the fight, Like there's more tourists
- 55:36Speaker 1: at a game like that that I went to, whereas
- 55:38Speaker 1: I bet that a game in Manchester, everybody cares. No
- 55:42Speaker 1: one's like traveling for the most part for that game.
- 55:45Speaker 5: Did I ever? I don't think I told you this,
- 55:47Speaker 5: but when my dad and I went to that Liverpool
- 55:50Speaker 5: City game, right, we were we weren't sitting in the
- 55:54Speaker 5: cop which is like the die hard fans behind one
- 55:56Speaker 5: of the goals. We were on the other end. And
- 56:01Speaker 5: I remember, you know, everyone sings to stand Uh You'll
- 56:04Speaker 5: Never Walk Alone, which is the song that the whole
- 56:07Speaker 5: stadium sings before the game starts. It's pretty cool. And
- 56:11Speaker 5: shortly after that, my dad, my dad's not a Liverpool fan, Like,
- 56:14Speaker 5: he was asking me some questions about the players, and
- 56:17Speaker 5: these guys who were sitting in front of us, who
- 56:20Speaker 5: were probably in their forties, like turned around and looked
- 56:24Speaker 5: at us and we're like, this is you guys, first
- 56:27Speaker 5: time coming to one of these games. You're not from here,
- 56:30Speaker 5: are you? And they were being very like judgmental, like
- 56:35Speaker 5: who how'd you get these tickets if you're not a
- 56:37Speaker 5: serious fan? But guess what they were American?
- 56:41Speaker 6: Oh? Really?
- 56:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that would drive me insane.
- 56:44Speaker 5: They were American. They lived in they lived in Liverpool
- 56:49Speaker 5: at the home and had season tickets at this time.
- 56:52Speaker 6: That's like Williamsburg energy.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like they.
- 56:55Speaker 5: Still had full blown American accents and we're get like
- 56:58Speaker 5: my dad was got to this. I was like, who
- 57:01Speaker 5: the fuck are you? You learned all this? Yeah, at
- 57:04Speaker 5: one point.
- 57:05Speaker 6: Pulling up the ladder behind them type yeah exactly.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that's insane that the fact that they're that they
- 57:10Speaker 3: were American is crazy because I bet.
- 57:12Speaker 1: British people wouldn't be like that, or like if if
- 57:14Speaker 1: someone's coming to their first Eagles game, like something I
- 57:17Speaker 1: care about I'm like, yeah, that's cool that you you
- 57:20Speaker 1: now want to care about this. I'm not going to
- 57:22Speaker 1: be like, we'll name their fucking backup right guard. You
- 57:25Speaker 1: want to be like what kind of offense are they running?
- 57:28Speaker 1: Who is their defensive coordinator? In nineteen ninety nine.
- 57:30Speaker 3: It's just a I mean, that's insane, that's just those
- 57:33Speaker 3: guys are just assholes. But like that's just like it's
- 57:35Speaker 3: just like a sports gatekeeping. Its gatekeeping in sports is
- 57:38Speaker 3: like insane. It's the worst. That's anyone who knows more
- 57:42Speaker 3: than anyone else wants it to be known that I'm
- 57:44Speaker 3: a bigger fan than you are.
- 57:46Speaker 5: I deserve this more.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Than you, Yes, And I hate that, Yeah, when really,
- 57:51Speaker 3: in reality, you don't deserve anything. Yeah, you're just you're
- 57:54Speaker 3: just like, yeah, you just watch TV on We're a
- 57:56Speaker 3: different level. Yeah, yeah, yeah, a better memory.
- 58:01Speaker 6: It's so annoying.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I was listening to a basketball podcast this morning and
- 58:04Speaker 1: somebody was like, I can't even watch the game unless
- 58:07Speaker 1: you're at the same level of sicko as me. Like,
- 58:10Speaker 1: I can't watch I can't be around people who aren't
- 58:12Speaker 1: the same level of fucking sicko as me.
- 58:14Speaker 6: It's like, no, dude, you're a fucking loser.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Yeah, work on that.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's this is a deep seated, like psychological problem
- 58:24Speaker 1: that you have that you want to Like. That's why
- 58:27Speaker 1: I didn't have a problem with random people being in
- 58:31Speaker 1: on the Knicks stuff, because like it's just a party
- 58:33Speaker 1: in the city. Like everybody's like should be able to
- 58:36Speaker 1: enjoy it. You haven't watched every regular season game, like good,
- 58:39Speaker 1: it's like fun for the city of New York. Yeah.
- 58:42Speaker 5: The only reason I had a problem was that one
- 58:44Speaker 5: of my best friends, when the Celtics are good, which
- 58:47Speaker 5: they so often are, always complains in our group chat
- 58:50Speaker 5: about the people that come out of the woodwork to
- 58:53Speaker 5: support the Celtics when they're making a run and cites
- 58:57Speaker 5: different people and all this that are like going to
- 59:00Speaker 5: games and it bothers them. And then I'm like, you know, dude,
- 59:04Speaker 5: you think Taylor Swift is watching the majority of the
- 59:08Speaker 5: fucking regular Yeah, there's no bigger I want to be
- 59:12Speaker 5: seen connected to the Knicks team than the Knicks when
- 59:17Speaker 5: they're in the playoffs fundamentally, other than maybe the Lakers,
- 59:20Speaker 5: because it becomes a celebrity like event.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Also, it's just like that's just how things go, right,
- 59:28Speaker 3: if the team sucks, a lot of people are gonna
- 59:31Speaker 3: stop watching the team.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Like that's crazy about Like you see way more Arsenal
- 59:37Speaker 1: fans this year than you would probably see Liverpool fans
- 59:39Speaker 1: or something. Yea, because Arsenal's killing it. So they're having
- 59:42Speaker 1: parades in the streets of Lagos, Nigeria and shit because
- 59:46Speaker 1: they're popping off this year.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah, Like the Patriots were dog shit for seven years
- 59:51Speaker 3: after Tom Brady left and like the state, Like I
- 59:53Speaker 3: went to games where the stadium was like empty, That's
- 59:56Speaker 3: just how it is.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Or like the kids in Dave's feature reviews or where
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: wearing like justin Herbert jerseys. Yeah, shit like that because
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: they didn't that they weren't bought in. There's like seven
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: year old kids who are like, yeah, I like Joe
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Burrow exactly. That's just the nature of the Beasts fans.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: What like what would your I agree?
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Like I do think it is annoying, especially if you
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: are a big fan of that team, But at the
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: same time, it's not annoying enough to be like this
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: like keeping you.
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: Up break down what's annoying about it? Like like guys
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: don't know as much as me, Like.
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: If people start saying like getting their opinions off, Like
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: people get mad at me when I do it, like
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: if I'm getting my opinions off, and then people are like,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: you don't know Ball. I could see that being annoying,
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: but at the same time, it's like, who gives a fuck?
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: Dude.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Gruden said that he would hire you to be on
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the buckstack literally literally, So how can they say you
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: don't know Ball when you literally will be brought with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: him to whatever job he gets.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Also correct me if I'm wrong. I believe I said
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: in the beginning of last year that the Patriots were
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: going to go to the Super Bowl.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: Yeah, nail on the head.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: I have a arian I believe said. No, they want
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: owt one for me, zero for him.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: You have a weird What I need?
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I need a favor? Okay, there's a guy I get
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: the body bags ready who.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Won't stop trolling me, and he's dming me and trolling me,
- 1:01:20Speaker 5: and that'd be fine.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: Are you giving oxygen to the fire?
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: Well sounds like it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: My issue. My issue is that it's his real account
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: and he owns a tutoring company and his biosys professional
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: tutor in college consultant, former Caltech, UC San Diego medical scholar, scholar,
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: and he looks very nerdy, and he won't leave me alone.
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: And I almost want to ask that people go out
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: there and give his company negative reviews.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: That's crazy. Why that's a bad idea. It's a bad idea.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: What else do I have the show? What else do
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I have to get back at him with nothing? Sometimes
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: you just gotta you just gotta roll over it. I
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: posted as just a story version of me stopping the
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: traffic video that I did, and he wrote, cool, sounds
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: like he's a big fan.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Well, well, read just the entire interaction so we can
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: see exactly what we're working with.
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: He wrote. When I posted my Harvey Weinstein song, he goes,
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: team you bo Burnham eight plus for effort. I guess.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Eight plus. I don't know if this is justifies destroying
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: his company though, So you I.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Go, I'm going to absolutely destroy you. Now, I've got
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: an army of people ready to turn Sam's tutoring company
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: to ash. You're fucked, He goes, why so easily vindict it?
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: If one would think a Harvard grad would be a
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: bit more even keeled. I never understand that.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: He's getting under your scheme, of course he is, Yeah,
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: Harvard grads don't have.
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: What happened to your brick? I feel like you're not
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: bricked at all. I said, I said, I'm coming for you, Sam,
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: buckle up. You've made a terrible mistake. And he goes, yes, sir,
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: And then I forgot about it and moved on didn't care,
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: And then he fucking poked me again. Yeah what was
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: the poke? When he responded, he wrote, cool to my story.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: And then I wrote, I tried to let you off
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: the hook and I forgot about you. Why are you
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: messaging me this?
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: But you know what well you were in the tutoring world.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: That's the problem. I want to like, start another tutoring
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: company and steal his client.
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: I like that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: I like that better than the Night of reviews now.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: But I'm not asking people to be like whatever. I
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: want people to literally write as their reviews, like we
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: use Sam's tutoring company for our child, and they didn't
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: get in to any of their top scores. I would
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: not recommend it. Their methods are too abstract. Something fucking believable.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Sticking with Kaman Sam's tutoring company dot com excuse me,
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: Sam's tutoring company dot WordPress, dot com. His website is horrible.
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: So look at this fucking dweb. You kidding me?
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: I think you can't. You can't ruin him?
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: Is that definitely his?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Uh?
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: Could that? Could that be a fake profile?
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: I don't think so. There's too much going on. I
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: think that.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: Uh, like you're you're letting an ant eat off your plate.
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: You could just just just.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll just give him a block, Uh, remove him?
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: He needs to. This is this is it's too it's
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: too deep.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Now if we didn't he be honest, Like, out of
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: all of your interactions like that one seems pretty.
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: It's the fact that we both had tutoring companies.
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what it is. Yeah, like you know the
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: grind of tutoring in terms of like I don't like
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: his methods.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: I don't like how full of himself he is. I
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: didn't write shit like that about myself on my own
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: website when I was running a tutoring company. But you didn't.
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: You also didn't. You didn't.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: You didn't see it through as long as he did.
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: How did? We don't know how long he's been doing this.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: I had a tutoring company for five.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Years, but maybe once you hit that ten year threshold.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: So what the fuck kind of a name is Sam's
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: tutoring Company? Okay, made meta much?
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I don't I don't mind it. I don't mind it.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: Expert in inline tutoring. Yeah right, dude.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: You know Roan's kids are going to Sam.
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: They better not they'd better not.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Be No, they're not going to Sam, They're going to
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Frands Tutoring Company.
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Yes, Ellis Prep was the name of my tutoring Oh,
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: that's a good name. That is a good name. We
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: had a logo that I had designed from a crowdsourced website.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: Really had a three hundred dollars prize to the logo
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: designer who won it, and they were all from the
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: Philippines in Indonesia.
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: Three hundred dollars to a Filipino, very hard to community.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: You made a king, You got fleeced.
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that guy became Roberto. Yeah, he's
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: street cleansing campaign.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: That was a typo. He meant to say, three dollars.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: Just another AR fifteen into the hands of some loped
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: warrior who went and gunned down every suspected drug dealer
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: in some district. That guy is a ge my students
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: average an increase of three hundred and sixty points on
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: the SAT. That's impressive if that's true. That's so much?
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Is it? Because when I did it, I I doubled mine?
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: What Yeah, I swear to God. But also the first
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: time I took it, I failed.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: You can't fail.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: I failed.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: What are you talking about?
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: You get?
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: I got the name? I got the points for the name?
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: Was that was it?
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Like? I think you get like like six hundred points
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: for writing your name or something.
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: You've got a six hundred close? Oh jeez?
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: But then I got it up to like a I guess,
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: like around like a twelve, not actually a twelve.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: I don't want to. I didn't get a twelve entred
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: He did it, didn't.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: I didn't. I got I was around eleven.
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: Out of sixteen.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: Yeah that's fine. It's not great, not terrible.
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: It's not gonna get you into Harvard.
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: He might be pretty smart, this guy.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure he's smart, but also, like, what do
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: you think his uh? What's his inspiration for trying to
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: make you feel lesser than I don't?
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: That's the thing is like he's messaging me from like
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: his company's account.
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: Maybe he's trying to get pro are you doing maybe
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: this is exactly what he was.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Well, you know what, to be honest with you have
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: kind of come around on really come around text.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: Him, text him that. Honestly, that will get him off
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: your back. You catch way more flies with say.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: Sometimes that doesn't take though. That's the worst when you
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: try to to try to be positive.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Hey I am you suck?
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I know my tutoring's going great. You still
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: suck though.
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: I did that with a guy in Nashville who owned
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: a brewery because he was sending me the most file
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: ship and I was like, I'm gonna come soon and
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: I'd love to come to your restaurant. It looks good.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: And he's like, go fuck yourself.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: And then I was like, all right, I get it.
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: You don't like me, that's okay, but honestly, like I
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: was looking at your menu and I really would love
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: to try it. He's like, fine, you can come, fine,
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: when when are you coming?
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: Put a nice table together?
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: And then I was like, I'm never coming to your
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: fucking restaurant.
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: Fucking bitch. Oh.
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: I would have long conned him and I would have
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: been like, I'm outside right now.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Well, yea, yeah, can you bring in that would have
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: been really good to.
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: Bring me in the back door.

- 1:10:55Speaker 3: I'm going to Wyoming in a couple of weeks. I
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: was telling. Yeah, I was telling with some of my
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: buddies from home, some of them, Yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: And wait, this is our last episode before break, because
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: on break we have banked episodes.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so yeah, I guess we'll really get into
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: the weeds. Let me get comfortable here. Uh, we're going
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: to Wyoming. And I was telling I was telling Sean
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: and Tyler about this. Every year we plan the trip,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: and every year the trip gets more intense. But like
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: every year I push for an airbnb for nicer. I know, nicer,
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: I say, guys, let's get a let's get a condo,
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Let's get an airbent somewhere we can where we can
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: just we can just go fish. And that's all we
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: got to think about is going and fishing. We don't
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: got to think about surviving and bears and moose and
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: mountain lions and starving to death and freezing to death.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: So that was the In May, the plan was like,
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: we're gonna get an airbnb. We're gonna get a lodge.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: This is gonna be great. It's gonna be glamping. We're
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: gonna really let loose, relax and enjoy ourselves. Sure, somehow
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: the trip has turned into a ten mile backpacking trip
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: where we will now no longer, we won't even have
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: the car. Usually we have the car to rely on.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: We don't have anything. We just have what's on our backs.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: And usually we will end the trip with a hotel,
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: and this year the council has decided no hotel. And
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: I am on the boat of like, you need to
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: end the trip on the hotel because then you get
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: to like shower, clean up, get to get on the plane,
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: go home. Right right, as of right now, our plan
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: is wake up on the last morning at four am,
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: straight from the tent to the airport.
- 1:12:56Speaker 6: You're gonna be smelling like buy dog shit.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: Don't how many total days is it?
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: It is the we're flying out, I think, so it'll
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: be the full day of the ninth, the tenth.
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: It's like four days, all right, that's not as bad
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: I thought maybe it was a week.
- 1:13:12Speaker 6: In a ten or you're gonna wind up getting them.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: It's like four. But this is the thing, and this
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: is what I've said. I said, I'm not I'm done
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: with these because I was telling them I'm still recovering
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: from the hotels in Iceland, Like the hotels in Iceland
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: set me back years, right, because this is what we do.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Every single year. We say I say let's get a hotel.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: They say, we're not going to get a hotel. And
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: then it's the night of and they're like, we gotta
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: get a fucking hotel and I pay for the hotel.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: I was gonna say, is it more principal or cost?
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: That is?
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: Uh for them, it's cost for them. It is why
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: don't you just fucking spot because they have jobs, they
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: got the money.
- 1:13:49Speaker 5: But if you care this much and they don't, you
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: should just you have.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: More money than them.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: You have gone on four years of trips where I
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: have paid for everything. Well, you've already set the ex
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: You can't be twenty five and still be like I'm
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: not I can't get the hotel. You can get the hotel.
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: Are forty that are like that?
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: I know, I know.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: I know these guys.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: And if you're willing to sleep in a tent and
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: go straight to the airport, yeah you can do whatever
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: you want. But what I'm saying, they're like, we are
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: fine with this and you're not. So the only way
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: it's gonna change is if you pay. This is a
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: this is exactly it. Like, you're right, But the problem
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: is is that they are not fine with the without
- 1:14:28Speaker 5: a hotel. Are they saying that or you just know
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: that's gonna happen.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: They say that every single year, and then every single year,
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: by like the second night, they're like, how much would
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: a hotel be?
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: They're giggling in the side chat because they know I'm.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Gonna pay for the hotel.
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: Well, then why don't you just get your own?
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: That's what I was telling them. I said, this year
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: I'm getting if I'm getting a hotel, I'm getting my
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: own hotel.
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: But why don't you do it right now?
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: That's a good idea, that is actually a great plan.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: And then what they'll then they'll be forced to come, Yeah, well.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: But you're gonna have to hike out of the wilderness.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: You're gonna have to go out of the wild I'll
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: just get an uber from the wild.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: You're going to be riding as.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: If you reserve them, you can get them wherever you want.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: I think they have a Yeah, what now, I'll tell them, Hey, guys,
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: you gotta drop me off at my hotel, the Ritz
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: Jackson four Seasons.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: I mean, Jackson does have great hotels.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: That's the problem is that the hotels are insanely expensive.
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: Well, you don't have to stay there. There's a cheaper one.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: That a lot of the most of them are pretty expensive.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: I think it's also because of the time frame that
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: we're going busy time and there's one up.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: There, I think, oh, oh Jesus, that's too much. Do it?
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Do it?
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: Do it have to not worth it now?
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: Not going to where it's so it'll be so worth it.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: It's more just the it's it's it's the history of
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: We went to Iceland. Iceland, we said we were going
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: to camp every single night. We camped one night and
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: then got a hotel and we just we rented a
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: bunch of camping gear for no reason. Then we go
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: to Wyoming, we say we're going to camp the entire time.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Second to last night, we decide we're going to get
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: a hotel for two nights instead of one night. Last
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: year we said we're going no hotel at all, We're
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: only doing three nights. Second night we get a hotel.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: So it's like history is really consistent here.
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: Then then this is simple. You know what's coming. You
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: need to get your own hotel ahead of time. I
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: like this.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: I like this plan a lot.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: And then you watch this they are watching and you say,
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: I had my foot down. This was always my policy.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I like this is I'm making a call
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: as soon as the end.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: Somehow, it's like if everyone in the moment improvisationally decides
- 1:16:33Speaker 5: to switch to a hotel, I can see maybe how
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: you're more on the hook for covering. But if you
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: make the decision and say, all right, you guys made
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: your bed, you're sleeping there. I made my bed, I'm
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: sleeping here. And if you want warmth and showers and
- 1:16:48Speaker 5: all that on the second night, well it's going to
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: cost a fee.
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: Best of luck to youree thousand a night.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: Yeah, break off a rack each.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: I don't stay there. That's too much.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: No, I'm not gonna we're gonna. I'm gonna get a
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: hotel somewhere. But it is just it's crazy that how
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: they haven't realized.
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: I to talk about the lap of luxury.
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: Because, uh, if I know Harry as well as I
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: think I do, he wouldn't use the hotel to it.
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: It's you know, yeah, he wouldn't explore it.
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: Yeah I don't.
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: And I think that in order to really make a
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: place like that worth it, you need to utilize every
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: inch of the hotel. Yeah, like which I which is
- 1:17:33Speaker 5: what I do? I mean, I eat every grape on
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: the free break, sort of fruit centerpiece. Yeah, I have
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: all the bottles of water that they give you.
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: Oh yeah, me too, Champagne, the welcome champagne.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: You guys use a whole bottle of shampoo?
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: Oh yeah, when I'm in the shower, squeeze it till
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: it's empty.
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Correct. Yeah, that's what I do too.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: And then if I don't use it, I pour them out.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: I pour them down the drain, right exactly, I am
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: stuffing a bar of soap through the.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: Drain, degrading like cheese flushing cow.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: Yeah I did.
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: I did the same thing. Do you guys use the
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: mini Do you guys? Do you guys abuse the mini bar?
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: I know you've obviously had your history with it.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: We have to do that. I don't do that unless
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: I'm filming it.
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: Oh okay, I see a little right off, I see.
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: How it works.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: It's not even that it's right off. It's just like
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: sneaking away from the tax man.
- 1:18:34Speaker 7: Why do I need to He does say the sec
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: what Why would I Why would I need a fucking
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: bottle of vodka in my hotel room alone?
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a good question.
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: The whole bottle. Sometimes it's a big bottle too, but sometimes.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: The mini bar. I thought that was all on the
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: company's dimes. So I was kind of just nineteen forty
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: two down the drain, down the drain, Sorry, Dave, seventy
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: five dollars.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: We're getting charged anyway, might as well dump it down.
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: The turns out that was all going to my card
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: stop bad news three times as much as the room
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: to make some calls. I was never in Chicago.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Someone stole my car, Jusse smolletting. That's the little jussy Smollette.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I'm about to go to Portugal over this break.
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: Hell yeah, with my with my children.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: That'sh ship. Yeah, is that your first child miss?
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: My first flight with them? I'm past horrified. Yeah, they've
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: had passports. Hell yeah, I'm terrified.
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: Wow, that's cool.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's going to be so I mean it's going
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to be harrowing. The flight's going to be nasty. Then
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: we get right into a car two hours going through
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: customs the globe. We're supposed to get global entry, but
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: they laid the global entry uh interviews here at the
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: office until after the trip.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: So I'm just what does global entry help that much? Yes?
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: What is anything in the world really yeap, what do
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: you just get to skip customs.
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: We've had this conversation so many times that I'm no
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: longer going to sell it because you simply won't do it.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Understood, understood.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: And even though they come to the office like they'll
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: be like in the room next door and you'll be like, ah,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: I'm good, I'll.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: Send you the link.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: No, that was for TSA.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: I thought, oh my god, you'll be like all good,
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: all good?
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: Is there a difference between.
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: Holble entry, So I have to say it Global Entry
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: includes TSA P pre check. You get both. That's why
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: it's so valuable. And I said that when I sent
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: you the link, and then they still were like, not
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: enough people signed up and I'm certain you hadn't I.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Check your name in, but you needed to sign on
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: like a redress number where they need all your old addresses.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: For the last ten.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Years, coming back from Ireland, the Global Entry was the
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: most efficient thing I've ever experienced in travel. They've actually improved.
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: It used to be that you'd have to go to
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: a kiosk get a photo taken of you. It would
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: print out this little slip and then you'd present that
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: to a guy. He'd look at it and then wave
- 1:21:18Speaker 5: you right through. When I got back from Ireland, I
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: went up to an eye scan scanned my eyes got
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: like a go and then did not speak to a human.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: That was it just walked through.
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: Wow, and they got your social security They got everything
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: they need all I trust the FAA, that is true.
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: Wow or whatever.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I wonder if I'm gonna like, do I need to
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: get my like can I get my kids through on
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: like TSA pre check?
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: My TSA pre check?
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: I don't know the answer to that, or like, I mean,
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: I've only the airport one time and it was only
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: one way.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: Maybe yes, I feel like I remember going through with
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: my dad, But is it Can you bring more than one?
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: You might have to make a choice. Who's getting it? No,
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: they're both waiting.
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: They both have their passports.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: If I ever need to get a last minute passport again,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I'm going to an ethnic enclave of New York because
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I was walking. I went to Flushing on Father's Day.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: My family's like, what do you want to do? My
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: wife's like, what do you want to do? I wanted
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: to go back to Flushing, and it's it's like you
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: could get a passport on the spot.
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: Oh flushing.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Yeah, they make them say, they're telling them on the
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: street next to live Craft. Yeah, it's fucking insane.
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: It's so nice.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: If I ever lose my passport again, I think I'm
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: just not going to leave the country ever again. That's
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: just it for me. That was one of the most
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: brutal processes.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: How are you getting to Wyoming? Are you flying direct
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: to Jackson from Newark? You're taking that fight? Yeah, that's
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: United Flights.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: Yeah, how did you know that? It's the only one
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: he's been to Jackson?
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: Brother, he's a skiing man.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: I'm going to Jackson. So which Jackson is he?
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: Tennis?
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: I've always always wondered. Paul Simon, No, Johnny Cash.
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: Oh well, I'm going to Jackson.
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: What am I thinking?
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: He can't be going to Jackson.
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: I thought he was going to Graceland, Grace Slan, Memphis Town.
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: I'm going to Portugal, Algarve, Portugal. No one knows.
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: I'm going to the Algarve region to Oh.
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: No one, it's really no one knows. It's wherever.
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: Oh wow, like that. I like that.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: So I'm going to Jackson. That's what it's about. Pumped. Yeah,
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: that changes things.
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: The boys are gonna love to hear this.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: We're gonna be ripping that in the car.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: I'm going to Jackson.
- 1:23:53Speaker 5: So we got Nate, Bo, Peters all going.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: Nate's not going unfortunately, Bro.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: No, he has work you, Bo and Peters. That's it
- 1:24:03Speaker 5: three of you.
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: Yeah, what's Nate's job again? I forgot man.
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: He works, he works in he works for Maine.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: He works for Maine, the state of Maine.
- 1:24:13Speaker 5: He does Maine for a living.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Yeah, essentially main Street he works on.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: You know, what's good for Wall Street is good for
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: Main Street exactly.
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: There's so many there's so many myths that Harry has
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: propagated on this podcast, Like what well, I mean, I
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: think there's like a top five of you know, basic
- 1:24:32Speaker 5: untruths that you've tried to convince us up. One that
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: you have an older sister who's married. Two that Nate
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: exists and lives in Maine.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: He does not live in Maine. We've been over that. Oh,
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: so you're changing in Maine. He lives in Massachusetts.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: Yeah. The whisper down the lane gets even more obfiscated.
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: That's it.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: Obfuscated was a word I saw in this book.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: My Dave's favorite.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: This is a classic obfiscated I was gleasing not in
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: the mix yet? Why does it always jump to the
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: call her Daddy chapter when you open it? And also
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: building Superstars is uh, neither of you is anywhere in
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the books in the book, I'm not mentioned.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: I had a feeling I was, I was about to ask,
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: and then I.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Was glad it would be so weird. I was glad
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: I wasn't there. Yeah, it would be weird as fuck
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: because I don't think it'd be good.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it wouldn't be a one point.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: We had to fire the face.
- 1:25:29Speaker 6: Yeah, well we had him back on at the insistence
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: of his friends.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: You should have you should have written like half the
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: book about that. That's that's the focal point of the book,
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: ends with you getting hired.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Back, Pat, Alex Cooper, Kayleb Presley, Busting, et cetera. Like
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: he could have just kept on adding commas and threw
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: a couple more names in there.
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: It's top just for the boys. But uh tough, you know, No, No,
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: you should count your blessings.
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: Is that those are the only superstars he listed, Those
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: are the superstars.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: Well, I think in that chapter he has biz.
- 1:26:10Speaker 5: I think there.
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: And he had h yeah, he had Josh Prey in
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: there too.
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: What the hell, there's a whole chapter on prey and publicity, Eat, pray, love.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: And prey.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: I thought I saw Publicity at the airport the other day.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: She was probably pretty well, could have been her.
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: She was on her way to one of her weddings.
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: You know what was interesting about this book was that
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: when we came back with that it's for Dave's version,
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: the publisher wanted him to add more stuff about his
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: work with animal rescue stuff, and he was like, I
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: don't really, He's like, I don't want to. I don't
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: want to self promote. I don't want to self a
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: grandize basically, but on the back of the.
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: Book is a picture of him with Peaches and Pete.
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: Well, eventually he I think he decided he wanted to
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: donate a portion of the of the proceeds to to that,
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: but he just didn't want to be too heavy handed
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: with like, look at how generous and charitable I am,
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: which is kind of impressive.
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: Except for there is a whole subject of the book
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: about the barstool.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: There is, but that's because that meant so much to him.
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, totally.
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: Whereas all those dogs. He rescues he just.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: As cruel Deville. Dave has been wearing a lot of
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: dogskin coach lately.
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: What the hell is that all about?
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: It's a nice jacket. It's miss Peaches, keep my Saint
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: Bernard coat under the bed for winter. Have you ever
- 1:27:58Speaker 5: seen that episode Always Sonny where they moved to the suburbs. Yeah,
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: he's like, its flash. I've been hearing it the whole dah.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: But the part where he's like, uh, He's like, I'm
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: not surprised that Dennis likes Dennis.
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: And he's like what.
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: He's like, you're eating the dog it's in the mac
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: and cheese. He's like, what do you think I didn't
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: notice you hadn't meet junks to the mac and cheese.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: I think that's probably I think that I would actually
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: go as far to say that's probably my favorite episode
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: of any show ever. It's so funny, it's unbelievable. Yeah,
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: all right, okay, we can wrap it up.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Hey, we're gonna have a bunch more episodes coming out
