- 0:12known healer, intuitive, and author. Join me as we explore
- 0:17the energy and consciousness that creates your reality. I'm here
- 0:22to help you heal and awaken with Energy Medicine. Welcome
- 0:29to Energy Medicine. I'm your host, Diane Goldner. And today...
- 0:34I'm so excited. We have Teresa with us. And I
- 0:38worked with Teresa for her son over two decades ago,
- 0:42I think, right? How old is your son now?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Yes, he's 19, almost 20. So almost 20 years ago.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Okay. So this is really, and I remember the case.
- 0:53I didn't remember all the details, but I remember that
- 0:56it was a really kind of critical situation. So Teresa
- 1:00is going to tell us what happened from the healings,
- 1:04what the situation was, and what has happened. We've got
- 1:0919 years of life.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:14Speaker 1: This is a case that shows just how powerful even
- 1:17one healing can be. And I have to say, before
- 1:21we even get going, that children are can be so
- 1:26responsive to energy healing. They just take it in. I
- 1:30guess they haven't had too many years where they're so
- 1:34set energetically. So I often find that children respond really
- 1:40quickly to healings. So this is really amazing. Healings can
- 1:45be amazing. So welcome, Teresa. I'm so glad you're here.
- 1:49Thank you.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Thank you very much. I'm so happy to actually talk
- 1:53to you again. And like you said, it's been almost
- 1:5620 years and I literally had to go back and
- 1:59research what my son had because it's been completely out
- 2:03of my mind.
- 2:04Speaker 3: For, I would say, 17, 18, 19 years. And so.
- 2:10Speaker 2: At 20 weeks, I had an ultrasound with him and
- 2:14he was diagnosed with, they noticed that his bladder was
- 2:17really large and he was diagnosed with posterior urethral valve syndrome.
- 2:24And that happens in, they said, in about one to
- 2:27eight to 10,000 boys.
- 2:28Speaker 3: So And what is it?
- 2:31Speaker 1: Tell us what it is.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So what that is, is the abnormal tissue that stayed closed,
- 2:38almost all the way closed, coming out of his bladder
- 2:41attached to his urethra. And that flap usually opens, I think,
- 2:45about 10 or 11 weeks all the way. And his
- 2:48didn't open all the way. It was a very slight opening.
- 2:51So that way urine could slowly trickle out, but not enough,
- 2:56not enough that it should have been.
- 2:58Speaker 3: So he had a.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Very enlarged bladder and it was backing up into his
- 3:03kidneys as well.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Okay. And so, you know, I remember this being a
- 3:08really serious situation. What can happen from that? There's a
- 3:11few things. One is while you're pregnant, right, you're not
- 3:13getting enough amniotic fluid.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Most babies that have the full abnormal tissue, there's usually
- 3:22not even a little bit of an opening. They are
- 3:24mostly all the way shut. So most babies do die
- 3:27because their bladder just kind of gets too big and
- 3:31their organs don't develop. Usually they end up with incontinence.
- 3:38They end up having major surgeries. They were even talking
- 3:42about possibly doing a kidney transplant. They gave me all
- 3:48these things that could happen.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And was there talk about a bladder transplant or a bladder?
- 3:54Speaker 2: One of those, oh, I don't know what they're called.
- 3:57It could have had a, not, is it a colostomy bag,
- 4:00but for your bladder?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yes.
- 4:01Speaker 3: He could have, yeah. I forget what it's called, but
- 4:04I know. Yes. Yeah. All these things were. So anyway,
- 4:08he was born, right?
- 4:09Speaker 1: You called me after he was born. So he had
- 4:12a normal birth.
- 4:17Speaker 3: You had a normal delivery? He was a normal delivery.
- 4:21Speaker 2: And I think with just all the pressure of him
- 4:23getting squeezed out, it kind of opened up. His abnormal
- 4:27tissue opened up.
- 4:28Speaker 1: All the way.
- 4:29Speaker 3: And he just peed.
- 4:31Speaker 2: He peed it all out. We were in the ICU,
- 4:35I would say, for about a week. And they did
- 4:39a bladder scan. And it really relates to he had
- 4:42the bladder the size of a grown man. As a
- 4:45newborn child of like six pounds, right?
- 4:49Speaker 3: He was five pounds.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 4:51Speaker 3: With a man-sized bladder. Yes, yes.
- 4:56Speaker 2: And with not having the amniotic fluid either enough, they
- 4:59weren't sure if his lungs were going to be developed enough.
- 5:03He had the cord wrapped around his neck twice.
- 5:06Speaker 3: He was losing his heart beat.
- 5:07Speaker 1: So you really wanted to come here because I know
- 5:10he's turned out okay. We're going to get to that.
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So he was born, they did a scan and they said,
- 5:16if you think about a balloon that's completely full of
- 5:19air and it deflates, that's what his bladder looked like.
- 5:22So it was very, I guess, rough around the edges.
- 5:26It wasn't a smooth lining of a bladder. And that's
- 5:31when I was so, I was very, very distraught because
- 5:35they threw all these things at me because they said
- 5:37I'd have to come back in about three months. In
- 5:41the meantime, I had to catheter him every four hours
- 5:45for the first three months.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And that was even though originally he was urinating, when
- 5:50he first was born, he urinated.
- 5:52Speaker 3: But then he still had to catheterize.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah, just to still catheterize because you don't get that sensation.
- 6:00They told me that you don't have that sensation to
- 6:02feel like that you have to urinate.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yeah. You know, it's so hard.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm a mom too. And I mean, when you have
- 6:09a baby, you want your baby to have a happy,
- 6:11healthy life. That's like, I mean, it must have been heartbreaking. Yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It was. It was very. I was distraught.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And when I found you, I still didn't really realize
- 6:25what a big difference you were going to make in
- 6:28our lives.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So tell me. Tell me. okay, you found me. I
- 6:34found you.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I made the appointment. I believe you were on the
- 6:38East Coast.
- 6:38Speaker 3: At that time. I was.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I lived in New York then. Yeah.
- 6:41Speaker 2: And so it was a four hour difference. And I
- 6:44made the appointment. I didn't have, at that point, I
- 6:48was so distraught. Anything was going to help, but I
- 6:50wasn't too, things weren't too promising for me because I
- 6:55was just so in such a bad place because not
- 6:57only was I not getting sleep, I was depressed. I
- 7:00was trying to take care of a very ill infant
- 7:04for months.
- 7:05Speaker 1: With the idea that he would always be ill and
- 7:07always be suffering.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yes, exactly.
- 7:11Speaker 2: And the first thing that you said to me was that,
- 7:14I don't know if you could feel it or you
- 7:17could hear it, but was that you said, I feel
- 7:20like you need some work too. You said that to
- 7:22me about needing work as well. And I was like, oh, yes,
- 7:27I believe I do.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I think that's just the compassion of, you know, when
- 7:33you're so upset, of course, comfort goes a long way. Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:39Speaker 2: So we, it was an hour and I just laid
- 7:43quietly next to him.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And I didn't.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Feel anything immediate. I think maybe looking back, I felt
- 7:50some peace. I think there was peace that I felt.
- 7:54There was nothing like magical going on, you know.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I understand that. You know, when I had my first sessions,
- 7:59it's so easy to discount how important peace.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Is, right? Exactly.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I don't think I had felt any hope or any
- 8:07peace until that moment for a very long time. So
- 8:11the session was over. I still cathetered him as I
- 8:17was told to do. We flew about an hour away
- 8:21to go to the... Luckily, we had the number one
- 8:25pediatric urologist in all of the Northwest.
- 8:29Speaker 1: You're in Alaska, right?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Yep, in Alaska. So this was in Anchorage. And they
- 8:36did the scan.
- 8:38Speaker 2: And they said that it looked like it was not
- 8:41even the same bladder, not the same baby, not the
- 8:45same bladder, because the inside of his bladder was completely
- 8:48smooth and not the rough edges like they had expected.
- 8:52It did not look like a deflated balloon. And I
- 8:59realized at that point, and I started telling everyone, it's
- 9:02because I had a healing session with Diane. And over
- 9:07the years, we've had some checkups, never any problems.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's grown up.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And he's healthy.
- 9:19Speaker 3: He's healthy. Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I've been a healer a long time now. I was,
- 9:35you know, and you forget how amazing a healing can be.
- 9:40Do you know what I mean? So, I mean, it's
- 9:43not that I take it for granted. I just, you know,
- 9:46and it's just like I'm moved to hear all of this.
- 9:51It was amazing when you recontacted me. and I remembered you,
- 9:55you know.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And it was, it was like, you know, the point
- 9:59of your baby maybe having, because the urine does back
- 10:05up into the kidneys and the kidneys did not look
- 10:08right either. And that's why they were uncertain of whether
- 10:13to have kidney transplants or not. And it's just like
- 10:18at that day, everything changed. And then you forget about it.
- 10:22You forget what a big deal that was because now
- 10:25he's out. He went to New Zealand by himself and
- 10:29just doing the regular things that a normal kid does
- 10:32that irritate you.
- 10:33Speaker 1: And he has no medical issues this whole time.
- 10:38Speaker 3: None. He's a bodybuilder.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Well, I mean, getting to the point of being an
- 10:44actual bodybuilder. He's doing all these health and exercise things.
- 10:48He's going to be a... Oh, gosh, a genetic engineer.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Wow, I love that. I'd like to talk to him
- 10:57because I have ideas about energy and genetics.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a researcher, has received a couple grants and
- 11:04scholarships for that.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Is he in college or graduate school now?
- 11:08Speaker 3: He's in college now.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Oh, beautiful.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Second year, but he will be getting his associates because
- 11:14he started early.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that. Oh, I'm just so happy when
- 11:18I hear things like this. You know, as a healer,
- 11:21I never know exactly. And I have to tell people that,
- 11:24you know, I never know exactly what the healing is
- 11:27going to do. But I always feel it does something
- 11:31wonderful and miraculous. Whatever it is, it always brings things
- 11:34to a higher order.
- 11:36Speaker 3: It really does.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Because if you think about it, if you're stressed in
- 11:41your life and you're always angry, it makes you sick.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yes, for sure. And then this is the opposite.
- 11:48Speaker 2: This is putting something positive into your body, positive energy,
- 11:52positive thinking. Yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 1: So how did it affect, I mean, besides the relief, right?
- 11:59Did it affect you in other ways, like spiritually or
- 12:05I don't know?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yes, I knew that there was something higher than what
- 12:13I knew when that happened, for sure. Because before I
- 12:17was just kind of, I was raised Catholic, but then
- 12:21I got older and didn't really practice anything. And then
- 12:27once that happened, I really realized that, yes, there is
- 12:30something beyond what we can even imagine, for sure.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So I also, I know you have a Native American lineage,
- 12:39and I'm wondering, you know, the Native American shamanic, you know,
- 12:46there's an understanding that the Great Spirit, right, is always
- 12:50with us. I don't know if that. helped you connect
- 12:53more to it or if that informed your decision to
- 12:56call me and, you know, consult a healer?
- 12:58Speaker 2: There must be something connected because we are definitely more
- 13:04spiritual and of the land. And, you know, I have
- 13:07that side, then I have the Catholic side. But I
- 13:10do think that there is a way to connect that
- 13:13kind of stuff because, you know, there's nothing wrong in
- 13:18seeking a healing. And it's just such a positive thing.
- 13:23And the positive energy that you get from the Native
- 13:27American side, the land, the honoring, just honoring the land
- 13:33and the people and respect is very important.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I mean, I actually believe all religions, it's different pathways,
- 13:41but they're all leading to the same divine light, you know?
- 13:45And that divine light is... Everywhere and in everything.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I don't know how to explain it, but it is
- 13:55a positive white light of divine vibes.
- 14:01Speaker 3: I call it vibes, but it is energy.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So now, is your son your only child, or do
- 14:08you have more children?
- 14:09Speaker 2: I have six children.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 14:13Speaker 2: He was the second to the youngest.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:17Speaker 3: So even after that, you braved another one. I did.
- 14:21I sure did.
- 14:24Speaker 1: That can put a little crimp in some people's style,
- 14:27you know?
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah. And he really is one of the....
- 14:32Speaker 2: One of the ones that I don't want to say
- 14:34I have favorites because sometimes you have favorites at that
- 14:37time of who you want to spend time with. But
- 14:39he has consistently been the one that has been the
- 14:42caring one coming around, you know, even after he turned 18,
- 14:46still would come over and want to celebrate Thanksgiving and
- 14:50Christmas and Easter. So he's been one of the ones
- 14:53that has stuck with tradition and just very kind.
- 14:56Speaker 3: He's a kind kid.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so beautiful. It's so, I mean, so much
- 15:02grace when we have, you know, children who come from
- 15:06the heart. Grace for you, you know? Yes. Yeah. I
- 15:11feel that way about my son, too. You know, I
- 15:14had a very lame life. But a Vedic astrologer summed
- 15:18it up by saying he's a blessing.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I remember.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I remember when you had him. That was very exciting. Yeah.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So I just want to mention, because it's really interesting,
- 15:27you know, we haven't really been in touch since that.
- 15:30Did we just do one healing at that time?
- 15:32Speaker 2: We just did one, but I think I kept you updated.
- 15:37Speaker 3: For a while. Yes, I think you did.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I think you did. But I just want to mention,
- 15:42because I think it's interesting for people, you contacted me
- 15:46recently because your heart is so good, because you wanted
- 15:49to gift a friend of yours who has cancer, right?
- 15:53Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah.
- 15:55Speaker 1: The healing.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:56Speaker 2: And I didn't want to push it because it does,
- 16:01there are things that just don't make sense sometimes.
- 16:04Speaker 3: And it's hard to explain.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 2: And I'm hoping that that, I mean, I don't want
- 16:12him to need it, but I do think that he
- 16:14needs it for sure.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, this is one of the things I
- 16:18had to surrender as a healer because, you know, what
- 16:23can I say? I can run into people every day
- 16:28who might be able to benefit from a healing. I've
- 16:31seen people who are like, you know, with advanced cancer
- 16:34or whatever. And I'm not saying healing can always turn
- 16:37the corner, but it can always alleviate suffering. But it's
- 16:42interesting that some people would rather not, you know, like
- 16:46the fear somehow of the unknown or overwhelms the ability to, like,
- 16:53what would the harm be? You know what I mean?
- 16:55Speaker 3: Exactly. What is the harm?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyway, that's something I had to just surrender because,
- 17:05you know, what can you do, you know?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Exactly.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So I don't know if there's any other, you know,
- 17:14anything else you want to share around this, your son
- 17:18or healings or just, you know.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Life in general. I, if I really honestly believe if
- 17:26it hadn't been for you, my life would probably be
- 17:30on a different path. I wouldn't be here right now.
- 17:33Speaker 1: How so? What do you mean?
- 17:36Speaker 2: I think more time would have been towards his health.
- 17:41Maybe I wouldn't be working in the position that I
- 17:44am now. Maybe I wouldn't be as healthy in my
- 17:49mind as I am now. Yeah, it probably would have
- 17:53changed a lot of things.
- 17:54Speaker 1: And his trajectory too, of course.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, I can't even fathom what that would be.
- 18:01Speaker 1: God bless.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Okay. All right. Well, this has just been, it's just
- 18:07so amazing to catch up after all these years, because
- 18:09I have to say, I have thought of you and
- 18:11your son and wondered how everything was because the diagnosis
- 18:16and prognosis was so challenging, you know, like I didn't
- 18:20know if down the line, you know, there would be
- 18:24a turn. So I'm just thrilled. And it was so
- 18:27great to reconnect with you and right now to really
- 18:30just share all of this with you. Yes.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 18:34Speaker 3: So thank you.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And we'll see you next week for Energy Medicine. And
- 18:41until then, I want to wish everyone blessings, love, grace, peace,
