Mega Edition: Ghislaine Maxwell And Her Most Ardent Supporters (7/21/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: In today, considering we have a relatively long article now.
0:05
Speaker 1: Gilanne Maxwell's legal team has been beating the drums for
0:09
Speaker 1: quite some time about her inhumane incarceration, and recently, adding
0:17
Speaker 1: to their voice has been Gilay Maxwell's family, in particular
0:20
Speaker 1: her brother Ian Maxwell. Well, our article today is going
0:26
Speaker 1: to touch on that some more. Ian Maxwell is back
0:29
Speaker 1: out in the press and he's making the case for
0:32
Speaker 1: his sister to get bailed out before this trial. Now,
0:36
Speaker 1: I can't really fault the guy for wanting to defend
0:38
Speaker 1: his sister, right, I get it. You know, I'd want
0:40
Speaker 1: to defend my sister too, And nobody wants to believe
0:44
Speaker 1: that their loved ones are capable of such heinous behavior.
0:49
Speaker 1: But let's be real, how close were Ian Maxwell and
0:52
Speaker 1: Gilaane Maxwell? Did he know everything she was doing all
0:56
Speaker 1: the time? Do you know everything your brother or sister
0:59
Speaker 1: is up to a all times? I certainly don't. I mean,
1:02
Speaker 1: we would like to think that our loved ones are
1:05
Speaker 1: doing the right thing. We'd like to think that our
1:08
Speaker 1: loved ones aren't engaging in criminal conspiracies. We'd like to
1:12
Speaker 1: think that our loved ones aren't abusing children. And it's
1:17
Speaker 1: hard to wrap our minds around it when that information
1:21
Speaker 1: is brought forward. So I don't blame i in Maxwell
1:25
Speaker 1: for wanting to defend his sister, right, I don't think
1:28
Speaker 1: anyone should blame this guy for wanting to defend his sister.
1:32
Speaker 1: But what I will say is this, the evidence is
1:37
Speaker 1: a mile high. And even if this was my family member,
1:41
Speaker 1: even if this was my sister or my closest friend
1:44
Speaker 1: or whoever, if all of this evidence was presented, and
1:49
Speaker 1: all of this circumstantial evidence was available and I didn't
1:53
Speaker 1: know what you were up to for large gaps of
1:56
Speaker 1: your life, then I don't think I'd be coming out
1:59
Speaker 1: and being so adamant in your defense here, because you
2:05
Speaker 1: only know what you know, and you only know the
2:09
Speaker 1: face that Glan Maxwell or insert whoever here puts on
2:14
Speaker 1: to try and fake you out. Right. So while it's
2:17
Speaker 1: all fine and well for Ian Maxwell to come out
2:20
Speaker 1: and try and defend his sister, let's be real. You
2:24
Speaker 1: don't know what she was up to. You have no
2:26
Speaker 1: idea what she was doing during the Jeffrey Epstein saga,
2:32
Speaker 1: or maybe you do, Ian, And if that's the case,
2:35
Speaker 1: maybe you should speak to the authorities as well, sir.
2:39
Speaker 1: But if you do not know, and you weren't around,
2:43
Speaker 1: then how could you possibly make such an ardent defense
2:47
Speaker 1: about your sister's innocence. So basically, you're doing what you're
2:51
Speaker 1: blaming the media of doing, but just in a different way.
2:54
Speaker 1: It's okay if you do it, because the narrative is
2:58
Speaker 1: moving in the direction that you wanted to, So it's
3:00
Speaker 1: okay then. But you see, this is how this works,
3:05
Speaker 1: all right. This is a public case, a huge interest
3:13
Speaker 1: of the general public at large, so of course people
3:16
Speaker 1: are going to be talking about this, and of course
3:18
Speaker 1: people are going to have their own ideas and opinions
3:21
Speaker 1: about what's going on, the same as you, Ian Maxwell.
3:28
Speaker 1: And the fact that anyone would to think that this
3:33
Speaker 1: is targeted at Gelain Maxwell simply because Jeffrey Epstein is
3:39
Speaker 1: no longer around that is such a shortsighted approach to
3:43
Speaker 1: this whole entire thing that I can't even put it
3:45
Speaker 1: into words. Let's be very clear, Gilain Maxwell is being
3:51
Speaker 1: accused of her own crimes. This has nothing to do
3:54
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. At this point. She engaged in her
3:59
Speaker 1: own crimes and she no longer has the umbrella of
4:03
Speaker 1: Epstein to shield her from this radioactive fallout. So now
4:11
Speaker 1: when the spotlight finally turns to her and people start
4:14
Speaker 1: pointing to the finger at her and unfortunately she's left
4:18
Speaker 1: hold in the hot potato. Well, you're the last man
4:21
Speaker 1: standing or a woman standing in this case. And despite
4:28
Speaker 1: what Geleane Maxwell's lawyers have to say and what her
4:31
Speaker 1: brother has to say, in my opinion, she was a
4:36
Speaker 1: co conspirator, a co boss, and somebody who helped Jeffrey
4:43
Speaker 1: Epstein not only put all of this into action, but
4:46
Speaker 1: also helped him with the actual abuse of girls, according
4:50
Speaker 1: to them. So I'd say, Ian Maxwell, that this is
4:55
Speaker 1: the kind of case where someone like Elaine Maxwell, your sister, unfortunately,
5:03
Speaker 1: shouldn't get bail. The crimes are heinous, the allegations are serious,
5:09
Speaker 1: and there is a risk of flight, no matter what
5:14
Speaker 1: you or anyone else says. Having those passports, having that money,
5:20
Speaker 1: having the ability to disappear will certainly guide the judge's decision.
5:28
Speaker 1: And that's what we have seen for the past two attempts,
5:31
Speaker 1: and I would be shocked if we didn't see that
5:35
Speaker 1: this next time around. All right, So let's see what
5:39
Speaker 1: ABC News has to say about all of this. This
5:42
Speaker 1: article is from Abcnews Dot Go dot Com headline, Gilean
5:47
Speaker 1: Maxwell's brother insists she should be treated as presumed innocent.
5:51
Speaker 1: She is not Epstein and I agree everybody should be
5:54
Speaker 1: treated as innocent until they're found guilty. But that doesn't
5:58
Speaker 1: mean that questions won't be ast So what do you
6:01
Speaker 1: think that nobody should talk about the case? Nobody should
6:03
Speaker 1: have an opinion about the case. That's not how things
6:06
Speaker 1: work here in the United States, mister Maxwell. All right,
6:08
Speaker 1: maybe where you're from, that's how it works. Maybe you can,
6:11
Speaker 1: you know, squash people's opinions and voices, But here in
6:14
Speaker 1: the good old United States, that shit's not going to work,
6:18
Speaker 1: at least not yet. So we're gonna continue to discuss
6:21
Speaker 1: your sister. We're going to continue to discuss the heinous
6:24
Speaker 1: crimes that she's been alleged to commit, and we're gonna
6:27
Speaker 1: see it all the way through to the very end.
6:30
Speaker 1: And guess what, July's coming up very quickly. We're gonna
6:33
Speaker 1: see what's what in July. The rubber is going to
6:36
Speaker 1: meet the road, and we're gonna see just how great
6:40
Speaker 1: and how much evidence that you folks can provide to
6:44
Speaker 1: show us that Gilan Maxwell is innocent. All I have
6:47
Speaker 1: ever called for or asked for is a full on
6:51
Speaker 1: investigation here. I've never said anybody is guilty. The circumstantial
6:56
Speaker 1: evidence certainly doesn't look good for them, right, But until
6:59
Speaker 1: somebody is tried in a court in front of their peers,
7:02
Speaker 1: they're innocent. That said doesn't mean she should get out
7:07
Speaker 1: of jail, none of that stuff. Okay. How many people
7:12
Speaker 1: are sitting in jail, rotting away right now, waiting for
7:14
Speaker 1: a trial. A lot of them, and most of them folks,
7:20
Speaker 1: most of them are poor. This article was authored by
7:24
Speaker 1: James Hill, Caitlin Fulmer, James Longman, and Santino Lucci, the
7:31
Speaker 1: brother of Gilan Maxwell, the alleged co conspirator of deceased
7:35
Speaker 1: sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, said his sister is being subjected
7:38
Speaker 1: to what he claims is monstrous treatment in a federal
7:42
Speaker 1: detention center where she awaits trial on charges of aiding
7:45
Speaker 1: Epstein's abuse of underage girls. Oh yeah, just so monstrous.
7:50
Speaker 1: I mean every day she's being beaten, she's being put
7:53
Speaker 1: on the rack, she's getting hit with the cat of
7:56
Speaker 1: nine tails, they're waterboarding her. Literally, none of that's occurring. Okay,
8:03
Speaker 1: She's being abused because they flash us a light in
8:06
Speaker 1: her cell every fifteen minutes. Oh so terrible, so terrible,
8:10
Speaker 1: And it's not even getting flashed in her face, it's
8:12
Speaker 1: getting flashed up above. I don't even want to hear it.
8:17
Speaker 1: I have a friend who did multiple multiple, multiple years.
8:22
Speaker 1: We're talking a couple of decades in prison, and I
8:26
Speaker 1: was just talking to him about all of this, and
8:28
Speaker 1: he was saying that it's laughable to hear her attorneys
8:32
Speaker 1: and to look at the case in general and see
8:34
Speaker 1: the different things that she's able to do while in prison.
8:39
Speaker 1: He wasn't able to do none of that. And guess what.
8:41
Speaker 1: You know what he had as a lawyer, a public defender,
8:44
Speaker 1: And you know what that public defender did, Oh he
8:46
Speaker 1: got him a nice plea deal for twenty years. So
8:51
Speaker 1: all of the nonsense and the wrangling and the crying
8:54
Speaker 1: about Gilainne Maxwell and her treatment in prison, look, I
8:59
Speaker 1: get it. Jail isn't fun. That shit is not fun,
9:02
Speaker 1: and there needs to be reform. But don't show up
9:06
Speaker 1: like Johnny Come Lately because your loved one is finally
9:09
Speaker 1: getting a taste and tell us about how terrible it
9:12
Speaker 1: is and how she's being tortured. My dude, that shit's
9:16
Speaker 1: not gonna work. Where were you before your loved one
9:22
Speaker 1: was getting a taste? Were you out there talking about reform?
9:26
Speaker 1: Were you out there using your great amount of wealth
9:28
Speaker 1: for prison reform or anything like that? No, you weren't.
9:33
Speaker 1: Oh so now it's a problem because your loved one
9:35
Speaker 1: has to have a couple of bologney sandwiches and sit
9:38
Speaker 1: in a cell. Guess what, play stupid games and you
9:45
Speaker 1: win stupid prizes. It's a really ghastly experience. She's lost
9:52
Speaker 1: twenty pounds, she's losing her hair, she can't concentrate. Sounds
9:56
Speaker 1: like the stresses where we all go through on a
9:58
Speaker 1: regular basis. Look at your kids, Gilaye Maxwell. Ever, Oh no,
10:03
Speaker 1: you don't have any. But how about you, Ian Maxwell?
10:06
Speaker 1: Look at your family and not know where your next
10:08
Speaker 1: meal is coming from. You want to talk about monstrous?
10:11
Speaker 1: That's monstrous. You ever go to sleep with an empty stomach?
10:15
Speaker 1: Pretty sure you didn't, So please spare me about the
10:18
Speaker 1: terrible treatment that Gilaine Maxwell is receiving. Ian Maxwell's comments
10:24
Speaker 1: come as his youngest sister awaits a federal judge's decision
10:27
Speaker 1: on our third attempt to be granted bail aheader for
10:30
Speaker 1: her July trial. And again, look, I get it, man,
10:34
Speaker 1: Jail is not fun. Jail is not a good time.
10:37
Speaker 1: And I agree with the overall idea that there needs
10:40
Speaker 1: to be big time reforms in our prison system. But
10:44
Speaker 1: it is a hollow argument coming from people like this,
10:48
Speaker 1: people of such means and such ability. And you know
10:51
Speaker 1: Gilaine Maxwell was palling around with ex presidents and congressman
10:55
Speaker 1: and you name it. Was she big on jail reform.
10:58
Speaker 1: Anyone wants to who kick the tires and let me
11:01
Speaker 1: know about all of the work she did on jail
11:04
Speaker 1: reform before she went. How about Ian Maxwell? Any of
11:08
Speaker 1: these people do big work on jail reform and work
11:11
Speaker 1: towards making things better for inmates in jail. Now none
11:14
Speaker 1: of them have so now that your loved one is
11:17
Speaker 1: experiencing it, Now that your loved one is having a
11:20
Speaker 1: little bit of a taste, Oh now you're paying attention
11:23
Speaker 1: to how bad the conditions are in jail. Well, unfortunately,
11:29
Speaker 1: that's the way it is for the rest of us
11:31
Speaker 1: when we get in trouble. The previous two attempts were
11:39
Speaker 1: rejected after the court deemed Gilain Maxwell fifty nine a
11:42
Speaker 1: flight risk because of the seriousness of the charges, her
11:45
Speaker 1: substantial wealth and international ties. What do you expect the
11:50
Speaker 1: court to do? I mean, should the court just be like, ah, no,
11:53
Speaker 1: that's no big deal. We're gonna let her do. We're
11:55
Speaker 1: just gonna let her bowl out and then we'll see
11:57
Speaker 1: what happens. Maybe she'll run, maybe she won't, who knows.
12:01
Speaker 1: I mean, what, really, what do they expect the court
12:03
Speaker 1: to do here? When somebody has all of the means
12:06
Speaker 1: that Gilan Maxwell has. Her latest proposal for pre trial release,
12:12
Speaker 1: which prosecutors and the alleged survivors oppose, includes an offer
12:16
Speaker 1: to place her assets of more than twenty million dollars
12:20
Speaker 1: under the control of a monitor, and to renounce her
12:23
Speaker 1: citizenship in France, where she was born and in England,
12:27
Speaker 1: where she was raised. Oh well, in that case, I say,
12:30
Speaker 1: we just let her out. Now. Not only we just
12:32
Speaker 1: let her out, we don't even put an ankle monitor
12:34
Speaker 1: on her, because she knows. She's an honest gal. Her
12:36
Speaker 1: and her family are just very honest people and they're
12:39
Speaker 1: gonna do the right thing because they have a track
12:41
Speaker 1: record of that. I mean, come on, already, enough with
12:45
Speaker 1: the whole entire Woe is Me campaign here? I mean, really,
12:50
Speaker 1: and ABC running this shit. So you guys gonna run
12:53
Speaker 1: the Amy Roebock interview that you squashed anytime soon over
12:57
Speaker 1: there at ABC. You bunch of scoundrels, a bunch of
13:00
Speaker 1: con men. Gilayne is an American, her brother said, she's
13:06
Speaker 1: never been a flight risk. In the year or so
13:08
Speaker 1: between when Epstein died and when she was arrested, she
13:11
Speaker 1: was in the United States all the time. She was
13:13
Speaker 1: not running away from law enforcement. Oh yeah, Ian Maxwell.
13:18
Speaker 1: Why couldn't the lawyers find her to serve her? Why
13:22
Speaker 1: did they have to go through the extraordinary steps of
13:24
Speaker 1: serving her via email? As if that ever occurred before.
13:29
Speaker 1: Menninger said she couldn't find her, So what does that
13:32
Speaker 1: mean her own lawyers couldn't find her, but the US
13:34
Speaker 1: government knew exactly where she was, right, Ian Maxwell. See
13:38
Speaker 1: here's the thing, folks, None of this stuff that they
13:40
Speaker 1: talk about lines up. When you have followed this case
13:43
Speaker 1: from the jump and you see all of the winging
13:48
Speaker 1: and the nonsensical talk, you could cut right through it
13:52
Speaker 1: because the fact of the matter is this, All they
13:56
Speaker 1: have are technicalities and loopholes. Where's the evidence? Okay, we
13:59
Speaker 1: get it. Jail sucks. Nobody wants to be in jail.
14:02
Speaker 1: Quit crying about it though, Okay, it is what it is,
14:08
Speaker 1: All this crying and all this winging three bail attempts.
14:11
Speaker 1: How many poor people get that ability? But yet Gilaine
14:15
Speaker 1: Maxwell gets to just lob as many letters to the
14:18
Speaker 1: judge as she wants, right, She gets to clog up
14:21
Speaker 1: the court as much as she wants, right, Yeah, but
14:24
Speaker 1: she doesn't get special treatment. Upon Epstein's arrest in July
14:29
Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, prosecutors vowed to continue investigating his alleged co conspirators.
14:35
Speaker 1: After his death in prison a month later, the attention
14:38
Speaker 1: of the authorities, alleged survivors, and the media quickly focused
14:42
Speaker 1: on Gilaine Maxwell, who was once a fixture on the
14:45
Speaker 1: social scene in New York with a rolodex of the rich, powerful,
14:50
Speaker 1: and politically connected. See there's a mistake there, Okay, nobody
14:55
Speaker 1: pivoted to focus on Maxwell. We've all been focusing on
14:58
Speaker 1: Maxwell since the jump. Everybody who knows about this story,
15:02
Speaker 1: everybody who has really dug into this story, understands the
15:05
Speaker 1: role that Maxwell played, as alleged by the survivors and
15:10
Speaker 1: people in the no lawyers, prosecutors, you name it all right,
15:14
Speaker 1: This isn't just a bunch of people sitting around the
15:16
Speaker 1: water cooler coming up with crazy ideas. These are allegations
15:20
Speaker 1: made by the federal government and multiple, multiple, multiple survivors.
15:27
Speaker 1: So the whole this is because of Jeffrey Epstein. Defense
15:32
Speaker 1: is bs doesn't hold any weight, And honestly, I don't
15:37
Speaker 1: think anyone's gonna buy that nonsense, certainly not yourors. She
15:42
Speaker 1: also has faced civil lawsuits both before and after Epstein's arrest,
15:47
Speaker 1: from alleged survivors of Epstein who accused her of facilitating
15:51
Speaker 1: their abuse, allegations she has long denied. She retreated from
15:55
Speaker 1: public life after Epstein's death in an effort, her brother said,
15:59
Speaker 1: to protect her family from what he called, oh lynch
16:02
Speaker 1: mob mentality in the media. Oh god, you see what
16:05
Speaker 1: they're doing, right, You see how they're trying to position
16:07
Speaker 1: themselves as the victim, as Gilaine Maxwell is the victim here.
16:11
Speaker 1: She's the victim of our rabid media. She's not getting
16:14
Speaker 1: a fair shake. Nobody knows the real story. Okay, well,
16:18
Speaker 1: why don't you tell us the real story? Ian? Instead
16:20
Speaker 1: of crying about her conditions in jail, why don't you
16:23
Speaker 1: show some receipts, some evidence some facts, because where we're
16:29
Speaker 1: at right now, we certainly haven't seen any of those,
16:32
Speaker 1: and the court certainly must agree because guess what, Gelaine
16:36
Speaker 1: still sitting in jail eating baloney sandwiches. My dude. The
16:42
Speaker 1: real problem is that the media frenzy about her, which
16:45
Speaker 1: had shifted from Epstein onto her, drove her absolutely mad.
16:49
Speaker 1: He said, she's married, has a husband, and she has
16:52
Speaker 1: two stepchildren, and she couldn't allow the terrible frenzy of
16:55
Speaker 1: the media to be brought down on their heads. Oh yeah,
16:58
Speaker 1: because it's Gilaine Maxwell's that's the victim here. Has nothing
17:01
Speaker 1: to do with what Virginia or Annie or any of
17:05
Speaker 1: these other survivors have went through, according to them, at
17:08
Speaker 1: the hands of Glan Maxwell. That doesn't matter. None of
17:11
Speaker 1: that matters. It's all about Glaane having her life interrupted
17:14
Speaker 1: or some media asking some questions. I have news for
17:18
Speaker 1: you there, Ian Maxwell. If the media was really doing
17:22
Speaker 1: their job, they'd be all over this shit. They'd be
17:24
Speaker 1: all over you. But they really don't care. So nice
17:28
Speaker 1: try with the media frenzy. But all you have to
17:31
Speaker 1: do is take a look at how the media covered
17:34
Speaker 1: the Megan Markele row with the Royals and you'll see
17:39
Speaker 1: that they still don't care about this story, so please
17:43
Speaker 1: shelf the whole entire media nonsense. That's another argument that
17:47
Speaker 1: does not work. Glane Maxwell was arrested last July in
17:53
Speaker 1: an FBI raid of a secluded New Hampshire estate where
17:56
Speaker 1: she had been living for several months. An FBI agent
17:59
Speaker 1: said at a news conference announcing her arrest that the
18:02
Speaker 1: government had been discreetly keeping tabs on her whereabouts throughout
18:06
Speaker 1: their year long investigation. So again, we know that the
18:10
Speaker 1: government and the federal government, especially an Essa Cia, all
18:16
Speaker 1: of those people, they collect all the metadata that gets
18:19
Speaker 1: sent out in the whole entire country, probably the world, honestly,
18:23
Speaker 1: and they can use that metadata to trace people. And
18:26
Speaker 1: we talked about the stingray set up that they had
18:28
Speaker 1: that they placed to catch Gilean Maxwell's conversations, and they
18:34
Speaker 1: probably had her under surveillance of some sort for quite
18:38
Speaker 1: some time. And you know why they did that because
18:41
Speaker 1: she was a flight risk they thought, you see, that's
18:44
Speaker 1: why so when they talk about, oh, Gulaine Maxwell's not
18:47
Speaker 1: a flight risk, or why she living in New Hampshire,
18:49
Speaker 1: Why so close to the Canadian border, Why so close?
18:54
Speaker 1: Why not in the sticks in Missouri. Why not in
18:57
Speaker 1: the middle of nowhere in I don't know, Arkansas? And
19:06
Speaker 1: he answers for those questions there, mister Maxwell Lain Maxwell
19:11
Speaker 1: is charged with facilitating and in some cases, participating in
19:15
Speaker 1: Epstein's alleged sexual crimes against three unnamed minor girls in
19:20
Speaker 1: the mid nineteen nineties. Authorities alleged that she groomed the survivors,
19:25
Speaker 1: befriended them, and put them at ease, knowing that Epstein
19:28
Speaker 1: intended to sexually abuse them. Think about those charges, and
19:31
Speaker 1: think about that crime, and think about how heinous that
19:33
Speaker 1: is for this lady to be involved in that. What
19:36
Speaker 1: the government is alleging and what the survivors have alleged,
19:42
Speaker 1: That's really what it comes down to. This isn't just
19:44
Speaker 1: one person pointing the finger at Maxwell where there's some
19:47
Speaker 1: gray area and you can say, oh, there might be
19:49
Speaker 1: an axt to grind. No, Literally dozens and dozens of
19:53
Speaker 1: people have come forward saying this. So again, all of
19:57
Speaker 1: this is fine, all of this flowery decoration that you're
20:01
Speaker 1: putting on your sister, mister Maxwell. But July is quickly approaching,
20:06
Speaker 1: and we're gonna see what's what come trial time and
20:09
Speaker 1: then We're gonna see what sort of receipts that you
20:11
Speaker 1: folks are going to provide, and if it looks anything
20:15
Speaker 1: like what we have seen thus far, no wonder you're
20:19
Speaker 1: so hell bent on technicalities. She has pleaded not guilty
20:26
Speaker 1: to all the charges, which also include two counts of perjury.
20:30
Speaker 1: At her initial court hearing last July, one of the
20:32
Speaker 1: three accusers, Annie Farmer, now forty one, spoke publicly via
20:37
Speaker 1: video conference and implored the judge to keep Glaye Maxwell
20:40
Speaker 1: detained until trial. She has never shown any remorse for
20:44
Speaker 1: her heinous crimes, for the devastating, lasting effects her actions caused. Instead,
20:49
Speaker 1: she has lied under oath and tormented her survivors. Farmer said,
20:53
Speaker 1: and that's direct testimony. Okay, that's not the government alleging anymore.
20:58
Speaker 1: That's direct testimony from somebody who says she was abused
21:02
Speaker 1: by Gilaine Maxwell. That's pretty powerful stuff, mister Ian Maxwell.
21:07
Speaker 1: Pretty powerful stuff. Now, where are your witnesses that are
21:10
Speaker 1: coming forward to say that this never happened? Who do
21:12
Speaker 1: you have under oath? Who is going to be a
21:14
Speaker 1: witness at the trial in regards to Gilaane's innocence. Since
21:21
Speaker 1: Gilaine Maxwell's arrest, last summer, her family has maintained a
21:24
Speaker 1: public silence. Her attorneys have also consistently declined to address
21:28
Speaker 1: questions from reporters, confining the defense of their client to
21:32
Speaker 1: their submissions in court. They recently filed twelve separate pre
21:36
Speaker 1: trial motions seeking to suppress certain evidence, dismiss some charges,
21:40
Speaker 1: or to toss out the entire case. And that should
21:43
Speaker 1: tell you everything you need to know. When's the last
21:45
Speaker 1: time you heard high profile lawyers not wanting to hear
21:48
Speaker 1: themselves speak. When's the last time you heard of these
21:51
Speaker 1: high profile lawyers not getting up and given a bunch
21:53
Speaker 1: of press conferences. Look at the OJ Simpson trial. You
21:57
Speaker 1: think Johnny Cochrane was sitting around with his mouth shut.
22:00
Speaker 1: Hell no, he was out in the forefront handling his
22:03
Speaker 1: business because they felt like they had a game plan here.
22:07
Speaker 1: From the very jump, all we have seen from Gilaan
22:09
Speaker 1: Maxwell's team is technicalities and loopholes, loopholes and technicalities, zero evidence,
22:17
Speaker 1: no receipts. But with her BEIL application pending and her
22:23
Speaker 1: trial just four months away, her siblings decided it was
22:26
Speaker 1: time to come forward. They've also hired a family attorney,
22:30
Speaker 1: David Oscar Marcus, another Harvard graduate by the way, and
22:34
Speaker 1: started a Twitter account dubbed g max facts. What is
22:38
Speaker 1: she an underground rapper? Is she going to go to
22:40
Speaker 1: the underground rap battle and have a battle against mav Hoffe.
22:44
Speaker 1: She's showing up, She's gonna get down with Iron Solomon.
22:47
Speaker 1: G Max facts, give me a break. Facts, huh? Facts
22:51
Speaker 1: according to who not facts according to the real world. Right,
22:58
Speaker 1: what's going on here is what I've referred to as
23:01
Speaker 1: the Epstein effect. Well, that's yeah, that's true. At the
23:03
Speaker 1: Epstein effect, you mean your client hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein,
23:06
Speaker 1: You mean your client engaging in criminal activity with Jeffrey
23:11
Speaker 1: Epstein according to the government and to the survivors. Is
23:14
Speaker 1: that what you're talking about here? She's being held because
23:17
Speaker 1: of her association with Epstein from all those years ago,
23:20
Speaker 1: which is absurd. No, what's absurd is you trying to
23:22
Speaker 1: pitch that narrative. What's absurd is you trying to act
23:26
Speaker 1: like this is all about Epstein. I'm like, nobody has
23:29
Speaker 1: come forward and blamed Gilaane Maxwell for you know, abusing them.
23:34
Speaker 1: That's what's absurd. Your whole defense is absurd. The whole
23:38
Speaker 1: entire thing you're trying to do here. The whole picture
23:41
Speaker 1: you're trying to paint here is absurd by association, said Marcus,
23:45
Speaker 1: a criminal defense lawyer from Miami. I guess Marcus isn't
23:48
Speaker 1: very good at his job. You can't huh, what about
23:50
Speaker 1: Rico cases, Marcus? What about accomplices? Marcus? What about co conspirators? Marcus?
23:58
Speaker 1: Guess that Harvard degree ain't do you so good? Huh?
24:01
Speaker 1: I mean, you can't hold people on guilt by association.
24:05
Speaker 1: Isn't that what Rico laws were for? So I don't
24:10
Speaker 1: know who he's trying to gaslight here, And I guess
24:13
Speaker 1: he's trying to talk to the general public at large,
24:15
Speaker 1: people who might not be following this case or something.
24:18
Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what, mister Oscar here, mister Marcus
24:24
Speaker 1: is not going to look very good. I suspect after
24:27
Speaker 1: this trial is over and the jury renders its verdict.
24:33
Speaker 1: I Maxwell's TV interview with GMA is his first, he
24:36
Speaker 1: said in thirty years. I'm not minimizing the seriousness of
24:41
Speaker 1: the allegations, but my sister's fighting for her life and
24:44
Speaker 1: that's pretty serious too. Guess what, She's in jail because
24:50
Speaker 1: of her crimes. The alleged crimes that she has committed.
24:53
Speaker 1: So what do you mean, she's her own self sabotage
24:56
Speaker 1: that has her there. You can't equate what's happening to
25:00
Speaker 1: her to what happened to these survivors. None of those
25:03
Speaker 1: girls asked for that. None of those girls woke up
25:06
Speaker 1: and said, oh gee, I want to be trafficked by
25:07
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Gilaine Maxwell. Nobody woke up and said
25:11
Speaker 1: that shit. But Gilayne Maxwell made the conscious decision to
25:15
Speaker 1: roll with Jeffrey Epstein. She made the conscious decision to
25:19
Speaker 1: work with Jeffrey Epstein. So please miss me with that shit.
25:23
Speaker 1: You try and get in my lane with that kind
25:25
Speaker 1: of garbage and your rimsel pop. Elaine wants to confront
25:30
Speaker 1: the accusers head on and deal with this and get
25:32
Speaker 1: on with her life. She is convinced as she can
25:35
Speaker 1: be that she will be exonerated. We as a family
25:38
Speaker 1: are behind her, solidly behind her. Well that's all fine
25:42
Speaker 1: and well right, I'm glad that you're behind your loved one.
25:45
Speaker 1: But it's an untenable position to be in for them.
25:51
Speaker 1: They don't have a defense. I mean, who are you
25:53
Speaker 1: gonna call as a witness, Prince Andrew. What do you
25:55
Speaker 1: call Alan Dershowitz as a character witness? All the people
25:58
Speaker 1: that she can call as a character with n are
26:00
Speaker 1: also being alleged to be part of this criminal enterprise
26:04
Speaker 1: in one way or the other. So who exactly is
26:06
Speaker 1: she going to call up on the stand to talk
26:08
Speaker 1: about her stunning character? Her brother, a paid lawyer, Leon
26:13
Speaker 1: Black he and Maxwell said he knew little of his
26:18
Speaker 1: sister's life in New York, where she moved in nineteen
26:21
Speaker 1: ninety one after the death of the Maxwell family patriarch,
26:25
Speaker 1: British press baron Robert Maxwell. Well, how do you know
26:28
Speaker 1: what she was doing? Then? How can you be so
26:30
Speaker 1: adamant that she wasn't involved in this if you have
26:32
Speaker 1: no idea what she was doing during this time period?
26:35
Speaker 1: You see, this is what I'm talking about. They contradict
26:37
Speaker 1: themselves with their statements. And to be honest with you,
26:40
Speaker 1: if I'm recognizing it, realizing it, pointing it out and
26:43
Speaker 1: tearing it apart, what do you think the lawyers are
26:46
Speaker 1: going to do? Because folks, like I've said to you
26:48
Speaker 1: a million times, I am lucky. I can tie my
26:51
Speaker 1: own shoes, Okay, but it's not very hard to see
26:55
Speaker 1: the fours through the trees here, he said, he was
26:59
Speaker 1: aware of Delane Maxwell's friendship with Epstein, but only met
27:02
Speaker 1: him once. I have absolutely no memory of Epstein at all,
27:06
Speaker 1: he said. I had no knowledge of their life or
27:08
Speaker 1: the life that Delane was leading in any great detail. Again,
27:12
Speaker 1: so how do you know what she was doing? How
27:13
Speaker 1: can you be so adamant that she wasn't abusing anybody?
27:16
Speaker 1: How can you be so adamant that these survivors are lying?
27:19
Speaker 1: What sort of acts do they have to grind here? Sir?
27:22
Speaker 1: If it was about money, they could have just taken
27:24
Speaker 1: the money from the compensation fund and moved on with
27:26
Speaker 1: their life and not pressed the matter. But guess what.
27:29
Speaker 1: It's not just about the money. It's about justice being served.
27:33
Speaker 1: And your sister, if you didn't know, was paling around
27:37
Speaker 1: with one of the most prolific sex traffickers and abusers
27:40
Speaker 1: in modern history. And not only that, your sister is
27:43
Speaker 1: accused of partaking in that as well, sir, So when
27:46
Speaker 1: you weren't paying attention for all those years, guess what
27:49
Speaker 1: we were. So take a seat, sit down, and learn
27:52
Speaker 1: a little something. Maybe before piping up. The last time
27:58
Speaker 1: he saw his sister in person, Maxwell said, was a
28:01
Speaker 1: rare reunion of the seven surviving Maxwell children in London
28:05
Speaker 1: on June tenth, twenty nineteen, on what would have been
28:08
Speaker 1: their father's ninety sixth birthday. Wait, I thought, Gilaine Maxwell,
28:11
Speaker 1: what didn't leave the country after Epstein was killed? What's
28:15
Speaker 1: going on here again? So many holes in this whole
28:19
Speaker 1: argument that they have. It was just serendipitous that we
28:24
Speaker 1: were all happen to be more or less in Europe
28:26
Speaker 1: and we got together and it was a very happy,
28:29
Speaker 1: genuinely happy occasion for all of us. Less than a
28:32
Speaker 1: month later, Epstein was arrested at Teeterborough Airport in New
28:35
Speaker 1: Jersey as he returned to the US from his home
28:38
Speaker 1: in Paris. Oh. I'm sure that everybody was so sad
28:41
Speaker 1: about their good buddy Jeff Epstein getting arrested. Gilaine is
28:47
Speaker 1: married with step children, getting on with her life. We're
28:50
Speaker 1: all getting on with our lives, and then bang this
28:53
Speaker 1: extraordinary development out of left field. Dan Maxwell said, it's
28:57
Speaker 1: just straight garbage that they would try and pitch this
28:59
Speaker 1: and like people with this out of left field. Look,
29:02
Speaker 1: my dude, your sister has been under investigation for this forever.
29:06
Speaker 1: The problem is the federal government hasn't had the backbone
29:09
Speaker 1: to go all the way and see this through. Now
29:12
Speaker 1: they do. Now they have their receipts, Now they have
29:15
Speaker 1: the evidence, and your sister and your arguments are looking
29:20
Speaker 1: very good, my friend. Echoing the arguments of his sister's attorneys,
29:26
Speaker 1: Ian Maxwell insisted that the prosecutors only targeted her as
29:30
Speaker 1: a substitute for Epstein after the federal government failed to
29:34
Speaker 1: keep the alleged child sex trafficker alive to face the
29:37
Speaker 1: charges against him in twenty nineteen, which is garbage, all right.
29:42
Speaker 1: We know that there were more charges in the works
29:44
Speaker 1: for Epstein. We know that more people were going to
29:47
Speaker 1: be charged under a criminal conspiracy, and we know that
29:50
Speaker 1: Maxwell is going to be one of them. So don't
29:52
Speaker 1: act like she was living this like perfect life and
29:55
Speaker 1: nobody was looking into her and no other charges were
29:58
Speaker 1: ever going to be filed. And furthermore, if she's so
30:00
Speaker 1: innocent and she had nothing to do with Epstein's crimes,
30:03
Speaker 1: while she's waving things, why didn't she waive her protection
30:07
Speaker 1: under the NPA. She's so innocent, right, wave it. They're
30:14
Speaker 1: taking it out on my sister. Damn it, that's wrong,
30:17
Speaker 1: he said. She is not Epstein. Epstein was guilty, he
30:20
Speaker 1: did time. Oh wait, so Epstein's guilty, but your sister's not.
30:24
Speaker 1: We can't talk about your sister being guilty, but you
30:27
Speaker 1: could talk about how Epstein was guilty. Huh, hypocrite. He
30:31
Speaker 1: did time and he was gonna do a hell of
30:33
Speaker 1: a lot more time. But she is not him. And
30:35
Speaker 1: I don't know how many times I have to say it.
30:38
Speaker 1: She deserves to be treated as Gilaine presumed innocent. Get
30:42
Speaker 1: on with the defense, tell us what you've got to
30:44
Speaker 1: tell us, put it up, and then let the jury decide. Yeah,
30:47
Speaker 1: no shit, pal, that's what's going happening here. That's the
30:49
Speaker 1: process we're in. And if you people would have focused
30:54
Speaker 1: a little bit more on her defense and building a
30:56
Speaker 1: solid defense as opposed to loopholes and technicalities, maybe your
31:00
Speaker 1: sister would be in a better, more defensible position right now.
31:04
Speaker 1: But as it stands, the quicksand is in effect and
31:10
Speaker 1: she's stuck in it. The government contends that at the
31:15
Speaker 1: heart of its case against Maxwell are brave women who
31:18
Speaker 1: are survivors of serious crimes that demand justice and who
31:21
Speaker 1: would deserve to see Maxwell brought the justice at a
31:24
Speaker 1: trial one hundred percent. That is all I have ever
31:28
Speaker 1: talked about here. Now, I don't care what anybody else
31:30
Speaker 1: says or talks about. I'm not responsible for anybody but
31:33
Speaker 1: myself and where I'm at. All I have ever called
31:36
Speaker 1: for is a fair trial here, a fair investigation, and
31:39
Speaker 1: that has not occurred until recently. So now that the
31:43
Speaker 1: shoe is on the other foot and Maxwell is being
31:45
Speaker 1: investigated and the survivor's stories are taken seriously, Oh that's
31:50
Speaker 1: a whole different storyline from team Maxwell. Huh boy. The
31:54
Speaker 1: narrative changes Cocuter's allege in court filings that the recollections
32:03
Speaker 1: of the victims bear striking resemblances that corroborate each other
32:07
Speaker 1: and provide compelling proof of Maxwell's active participation in a
32:11
Speaker 1: disturbing scheme to groom and sexually abuse minor girls. I mean,
32:16
Speaker 1: how much more evidence is needed. Let's get those Grand
32:19
Speaker 1: Jerry transcripts from Palm Beach unsealed. Let's get her to
32:23
Speaker 1: waive the NPA. What are we waiting for? You know,
32:26
Speaker 1: they want to make all of these allegations from team Maxwell.
32:29
Speaker 1: I got a few requests myself, So what's up. Let's
32:31
Speaker 1: rock US District Court Judge Alison Nathan, who was overseeing
32:37
Speaker 1: Gilaane Maxwell's criminal case, could rule on the third bell
32:40
Speaker 1: application at any time. In rejecting the second request in December,
32:44
Speaker 1: Nathan cited Geilane Maxwell's initial lack of candor about the
32:48
Speaker 1: identity of her spouse and information about the couple's assets
32:52
Speaker 1: as among the reasons she would not grant bail. And
32:55
Speaker 1: still we don't know what kind of assets they have.
32:57
Speaker 1: Oh well, what do I text your turn? Here's a
32:59
Speaker 1: little money. I'm yeah, okay, because that's what criminals do
33:02
Speaker 1: in money alonger is they claim it on their taxes.
33:07
Speaker 1: In opposition opposition to the latest bail proposal, prosecutors argue
33:11
Speaker 1: the court should hesitate before trusting the defendant to be
33:14
Speaker 1: transparent about her finances and that she continues to pose
33:18
Speaker 1: an extreme risk of flight, and the additional bail conditions
33:21
Speaker 1: proposed by the defendant do not justify a reversal of
33:25
Speaker 1: the court's prior findings that no combination of conditions could
33:29
Speaker 1: ensure her appearance. That's pretty clear cut and dry. No
33:33
Speaker 1: combination of conditions could ensure her appearance, Pretty cut and dry,
33:41
Speaker 1: The family's attorney claim the government's arguments are a smoke screen.
33:45
Speaker 1: The real reason she's not being granted bail is not
33:47
Speaker 1: because of any real risk of flight. No one's afraid
33:50
Speaker 1: she's gonna really run, Marcus said. The government wants to
33:53
Speaker 1: keep her in custody to torture her, to break her down.
33:56
Speaker 1: All those pretty big allegations there, mister Marcus, any proof
34:00
Speaker 1: to back that up, or you're just making assertions, you know,
34:04
Speaker 1: like you're complaining about other people doing towards the case
34:07
Speaker 1: in general. See how that works here. You see how
34:10
Speaker 1: the battle for the narrative is raging. And for decades
34:14
Speaker 1: they were so used to having no people in the way, right,
34:19
Speaker 1: there was no obstructions to their narrative. Well that's over.
34:24
Speaker 1: Those days are over. They're not in control of this
34:27
Speaker 1: narrative anymore, and the truth is gonna come out. All
34:31
Speaker 1: this winging and all this bs by the lawyers and
34:33
Speaker 1: her family, it's all fine and well, but July is
34:37
Speaker 1: quickly approaching, folks. My clock is set. The government has
34:47
Speaker 1: always disputed defense lawyer's contentions that Maxwell is being treated
34:50
Speaker 1: punitively as a result of Epstein's death and custody. Prosecutors
34:55
Speaker 1: stated in court filings that she has more time than
34:57
Speaker 1: any other detaining in the facility to review two documents
35:00
Speaker 1: from her case. The flashlight searches, the government said, are
35:04
Speaker 1: required to confirm that the defendant is not in distress.
35:07
Speaker 1: Every fifteen minutes. To do so, staffpoint a flashlight to
35:11
Speaker 1: the ceiling of the defendant cell to illuminate the cell
35:14
Speaker 1: sufficiently to confirm that the defendant is breathing. Prosecutors wrote,
35:20
Speaker 1: I mean, so that's the extent of the abuse. H
35:22
Speaker 1: that's what they're crying about. Let me remind you of
35:26
Speaker 1: the crying, scared Swedish girl who had our passport taken,
35:31
Speaker 1: and then think about Delane Maxwell sitting in the jail
35:34
Speaker 1: cell complaining about being bored, and you tell me which
35:38
Speaker 1: one is worse. If you'd like to contact me, you
35:41
Speaker 1: can do that at Bobby Kapuci at ProtonMail dot com.
35:44
Speaker 1: That's bo bby cap you Cci at ProtonMail dot com.
35:50
Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at Bobby underscore
35:54
Speaker 1: cap you Cci. All of the links that go with
35:58
Speaker 1: this episode can be in the description box. All right, folks,
36:02
Speaker 1: I'll be back later on what's up everyone, and welcome
36:06
Speaker 1: back to the Epstein Chronicles. When Galaign Maxwell was first arrested.
36:11
Speaker 1: There was a big push from Team Maxwell to get
36:14
Speaker 1: her sprung from jail and to get bailed out. In fact,
36:19
Speaker 1: they went so far as to name an operation after it,
36:23
Speaker 1: and that operation was called Operation GGO Get Glaine Out. Boy,
36:29
Speaker 1: aren't they creative? A whole group of very very creative
36:32
Speaker 1: folks over there working at Team Maxwell. Well, today we're
36:37
Speaker 1: gonna take a trip back in time and we're gonna
36:39
Speaker 1: look at Operation Get Golaine Out and have a nice
36:43
Speaker 1: laugh about it. Today's article is from the Daily Mail
36:48
Speaker 1: headline Operation Get Glaine Out, campaign to free Gallain Maxwell
36:53
Speaker 1: from jail is launched as family friend claims she's lost
36:56
Speaker 1: twenty five pounds in custody and is forced to paper clothes.
37:01
Speaker 1: Oh how horrible for Glayne Maxwell considering what she is
37:07
Speaker 1: convicted of. Now, I don't think anybody is shedding any
37:11
Speaker 1: tears for Gallayne Maxwell and the situation she found herself
37:15
Speaker 1: in at the lockup. Sure could the conditions there be better, absolutely,
37:20
Speaker 1: but not just for Gallayne Maxwell. That's what they want, right,
37:24
Speaker 1: great conditions for her. They don't care about anybody else,
37:28
Speaker 1: So why should things be different for Gallayne Maxwell while
37:32
Speaker 1: everybody else gets to rot? Away in prison. This article
37:37
Speaker 1: was authored by Lauren Edmonds and Emily Scrivener, and it
37:42
Speaker 1: was originally published on October twenty fourth of twenty twenty.
37:49
Speaker 1: The family of Glenn Maxwell has launched a campaign to
37:52
Speaker 1: get her out of jail, claiming she's lost considerable weight
37:55
Speaker 1: and her human rights were violated. I'm pretty sure that
37:59
Speaker 1: the human rights of all of the girls who were abused,
38:02
Speaker 1: the thousands of girls, according to some estimations, I think
38:07
Speaker 1: that their human rights were abused. And you, well, you
38:10
Speaker 1: were just put where you belonged. Operation GGO, a campaign
38:15
Speaker 1: to get Golaine out from her Brooklyn prison cell, comes
38:19
Speaker 1: after she previously sought released this summer on a five
38:22
Speaker 1: million dollar bell related to sex trafficking crimes. You imagine
38:27
Speaker 1: five million dollars lay mass Bell, take your five million
38:31
Speaker 1: and shove it. You're not getting out of jail. Gollaane
38:35
Speaker 1: enjoy the Bologney sandwiches and the non vegan food. She
38:41
Speaker 1: maintained her innocence, but the Manhattan judge deemed her a
38:44
Speaker 1: flight risk, considering she had evaded capture for nearly a year. Now,
38:49
Speaker 1: her team will tell you that's not the case. They'll
38:51
Speaker 1: tell you that she was running from the law, running
38:54
Speaker 1: from I mean not running from the law, but running
38:56
Speaker 1: from journalists, running from the media, running from all of
38:59
Speaker 1: the people who are looking for her, but not the
39:01
Speaker 1: law though when the real reality of it all is
39:06
Speaker 1: that she was running from the law. In fact, they
39:09
Speaker 1: tried to serve her with some court documents about her
39:12
Speaker 1: getting a suit, and the judge couldn't even find her,
39:15
Speaker 1: so they had to do it via email. And usually,
39:19
Speaker 1: under most circumstances, if you're getting served, it has to
39:22
Speaker 1: happen in person, but she was so difficult to find
39:25
Speaker 1: that the judge allowed it to go down this way.
39:29
Speaker 1: Brian Basham, a family friend and a pr professional, has
39:33
Speaker 1: set out the free Maxwell from the cruel and vindictive
39:36
Speaker 1: treatment she's allegedly received at the hands of the US authorities.
39:41
Speaker 1: Basham alleged that the heiress has lost twenty five pounds
39:44
Speaker 1: since she was placed in custody because guards won't accommodate
39:47
Speaker 1: her vegan diet. The Telegraph reports, God forbid, now that
39:52
Speaker 1: she's in federal prison, Well, she could buy whatever she
39:54
Speaker 1: wants at the commissary. Hell, go outside in the yard
39:57
Speaker 1: and eat the grass and graze like a calf. All
40:00
Speaker 1: I'm concerned. One thing you're not doing is going down
40:04
Speaker 1: to your favorite restaurant to get yourself a meal. When
40:10
Speaker 1: Maxwell complained, Basham told the Telegraph prison officials simply removed
40:14
Speaker 1: her scales to stop her from recording her weight. Why
40:17
Speaker 1: does she even have scales in the first place. Oh,
40:19
Speaker 1: let me go to a jail cell. Hey, I'm gonna
40:21
Speaker 1: need some scales. Please. What No, You'll get a shower
40:24
Speaker 1: twice a week and you'll be happy with it. She
40:29
Speaker 1: has lost twenty five pounds in jail, but when she complained,
40:32
Speaker 1: they took her away her weighing machine, so she cannot
40:35
Speaker 1: weigh herself, he told the newspaper. Basham also alleged that
40:39
Speaker 1: prison officials forced Maxwell to wear clothes made from paper
40:43
Speaker 1: and banned her from wearing bras over fears she's a
40:47
Speaker 1: suicide risk. Those were legitimate fears. At the time. Nobody
40:51
Speaker 1: knew what she was up to or what her mindset was,
40:54
Speaker 1: so the government has to do what they have to
40:56
Speaker 1: do and safeguard. We can't have her going the same
40:59
Speaker 1: way of Epstein, can we. The concerns echoed those of
41:05
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide in a Manhattan jail cell.
41:08
Speaker 1: Last year, while awaiting trial, Epstein, a New York financier
41:13
Speaker 1: pedophile whose reputation was marred with allegations of child molestation,
41:19
Speaker 1: was indicted on sex trafficking and conspiracy to engage in
41:22
Speaker 1: sex trafficking charges. Now look, we know that they're not allegations.
41:27
Speaker 1: And we know that now for sure. Whenever you have
41:30
Speaker 1: the estate or somebody like Epstein paying people out in
41:35
Speaker 1: a compensation fund, Okay, we're not talking about a suit
41:38
Speaker 1: to say, all right, well you get paid, but I'm
41:40
Speaker 1: not taking any blame here. That's not what the compensation
41:43
Speaker 1: fund is. That compensation fund, for all of its warts,
41:47
Speaker 1: was something that said that Epstein and the estate were
41:51
Speaker 1: taking liability for the pain and suffering inflicted on these
41:55
Speaker 1: women by Jeffrey Epstein. So you could miss me with
41:58
Speaker 1: all that alleged nonsense. He was repeatedly accused of the
42:06
Speaker 1: vile acts throughout his adult life, and pleaded guilty to
42:08
Speaker 1: soliciting a miner of for prostitution in Florida. In two
42:12
Speaker 1: thousand and eight. He was awaiting trial at his Metropolitan
42:15
Speaker 1: Correction Center jail in New York City when he committed
42:19
Speaker 1: suicide allegedly by hanging inside his jail cell in August
42:24
Speaker 1: of two thousand and nineteen. Epstein's death rocked the country
42:29
Speaker 1: and was a shocking blow for a number of his
42:32
Speaker 1: survivors who had come forward. Yeah, people who expected justice,
42:35
Speaker 1: People who had expected the Department of Justice and the
42:39
Speaker 1: Bureau of Prisons to do their job in safeguard this man. Maxwell,
42:44
Speaker 1: who was accused of being his madam, who was his madam,
42:47
Speaker 1: accused and convicted, soon fled and managed to avoid authorities
42:51
Speaker 1: for months before she was detained in New Hampshire. She
42:55
Speaker 1: was charged with six federal crimes, including enticement of miners
42:59
Speaker 1: and sex trafficked. Basham told The Telegraph that prison guards
43:03
Speaker 1: have stopped talking to Maxwell, who spends her days isolated
43:07
Speaker 1: in a nine foot by seven foot cell, and they
43:09
Speaker 1: stopped talking to her because she kept complaining, Oh, this
43:12
Speaker 1: one's abusing me, that one's abusing me. They're all abusing me.
43:16
Speaker 1: I'm the victim, Me, me, me, it's me, I'm the victim,
43:19
Speaker 1: when we all know that's not the case. You are
43:21
Speaker 1: not the victim, Glen Maxwell. You weren't the victim of
43:24
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, and you certainly weren't a victim while you
43:27
Speaker 1: were in lock up. Her loneliness, according to Basham, is
43:31
Speaker 1: exasperated by the fact that letters from family have not
43:34
Speaker 1: reached her. She is unable to talk to her sisters
43:38
Speaker 1: and their letters are being viewed vindictively and not given
43:43
Speaker 1: to her. He told the publication, Well, of course they are.
43:46
Speaker 1: That's what happens when you're in the special housing unit.
43:50
Speaker 1: They go through all of your stuff if you're in
43:52
Speaker 1: jail in general, but if you're in special housing, forget
43:55
Speaker 1: it with a fine tooth comb. She is in a
44:00
Speaker 1: nine foot by seven foot cell on a floor of
44:03
Speaker 1: the prison, with no one else on it. The last
44:06
Speaker 1: I heard is that the guards have now stopped speaking
44:08
Speaker 1: to her, so she is very much in isolation. I
44:12
Speaker 1: am told that none of the members of the family
44:14
Speaker 1: have been able to visit or talk to her directly.
44:17
Speaker 1: Her lawyers were there though, right a whole bunch of
44:19
Speaker 1: hours out of each day. I wonder if Cleif Browner
44:23
Speaker 1: had his lawyers there. Oh, that's right, he had nobody
44:25
Speaker 1: defending him. Bashiam has offered to help the Maxwell's pro
44:29
Speaker 1: bono to secure her bail ahead of her trial in
44:32
Speaker 1: July of twenty twenty one. He told The Telegraph that
44:35
Speaker 1: he volunteered to spearhead the campaign because I thought that
44:39
Speaker 1: the dog and pony show put on by the Department
44:42
Speaker 1: of Justice and the FBI had attempted to whip what
44:45
Speaker 1: I think of as a lynch mob into a further frenzy.
44:49
Speaker 1: This was all what they were trying to do as
44:52
Speaker 1: far as controlling the narrative at the time. What they
44:54
Speaker 1: wanted to set it up as was that Maxwell was
44:57
Speaker 1: being targeted by the general public by the authorities, when
45:01
Speaker 1: in reality she was just somebody who was along for
45:04
Speaker 1: the ride, and since they lost Epstein, all the focus
45:08
Speaker 1: was on Maxwell. Now, well, yeah, that was true. A
45:11
Speaker 1: little bit of that is true, but that's because you
45:13
Speaker 1: were his co conspirator. That's because you were the underboss,
45:17
Speaker 1: pulling all of the strings when he laid out the yarn.
45:22
Speaker 1: He added that he found it appalling that Maxwell was
45:24
Speaker 1: still in custody when other convicted sex offenders, specifically Harvey
45:29
Speaker 1: Weinstein and Bill Cosby, were granted bell. Neither Harvey Weinstein
45:33
Speaker 1: or Bill Cosby have citizenship in other countries, and furthermore,
45:38
Speaker 1: neither of them, for as powerful as they are, have
45:41
Speaker 1: the political connections that Glaine Maxwell had. Both Weinstein and
45:47
Speaker 1: Cosby were given bell and they were men who were
45:50
Speaker 1: a danger to women. That can't be said of Golaine
45:53
Speaker 1: at all. He said, yes, it can be well, maybe not.
45:56
Speaker 1: She's a man, but she's a danger to women, that's
45:59
Speaker 1: for damn sure. Maxwell has denied all six counts relating
46:03
Speaker 1: to child sex, trafficking, in procurement, and perjury. In deposition
46:08
Speaker 1: documents released Thursday, it was revealed Maxwell repeatedly lashed out
46:13
Speaker 1: against alleged survivor Virginia Roberts. Lawyers tried to object to questioning,
46:18
Speaker 1: and at one point pounded her fist on the table.
46:21
Speaker 1: After the fit, she remarked, can we be clear I
46:24
Speaker 1: didn't threaten anybody? We know that's not the case now
46:28
Speaker 1: as well, with hindsight as our guide, and we know
46:31
Speaker 1: that she also got charged with perjury for lying. During
46:34
Speaker 1: this deposition, the combative Maxwell continually denied all wrongdoing. She
46:40
Speaker 1: refused to answer questions about her sex life with Epstein,
46:43
Speaker 1: denied she participated in orgies, and rebuff questions about underage girls,
46:48
Speaker 1: including a thirteen year old being in Epstein's home. So again,
46:54
Speaker 1: when she was questioned under oath. She obviously and demonstrably
46:58
Speaker 1: lied about a lot of this stuff, so that's why
47:00
Speaker 1: she got slapped with that perjury charge. She became agitated
47:06
Speaker 1: and refused to answer whether she believed it was psychologically
47:09
Speaker 1: harmful for an adult to have sex with a minor.
47:12
Speaker 1: What are you asking me? I don't know what you
47:15
Speaker 1: are asking, Maxwell responded, this has nothing to do with
47:18
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts. And you know she plays coy right, Oh
47:22
Speaker 1: what are you asking me? I have no idea. She
47:24
Speaker 1: graduated from Oxford, right, shouldn't she be smarter than the
47:27
Speaker 1: rest of us who went to state school. She denied
47:32
Speaker 1: taking nude photos of Epstein survivors, yet insisted that every
47:36
Speaker 1: photo she took was by request and would have been
47:39
Speaker 1: mainstream type magazine photos that could have been very happily
47:43
Speaker 1: and expected to be displayed on your parents' mantlepiece or
47:47
Speaker 1: grandparents mantlepiece. President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew were
47:53
Speaker 1: also brought up during the hours long conversation, with Maxwell
47:56
Speaker 1: profusely denying Clinton had been to Epstein's pedophile island, and
48:01
Speaker 1: we know that's a lie as well. Virginia Roberts told
48:04
Speaker 1: us something completely different and my question to you is this,
48:07
Speaker 1: who do you believe, Gallainne Maxwell and Bill Clinton or
48:11
Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts. Maxwell is currently in jail awaiting trial on
48:16
Speaker 1: charges that she lured girls as young as fourteen for
48:20
Speaker 1: pedophile Epstein to abuse between ninety four and ninety seven.
48:25
Speaker 1: Federal prosecutors in New York claim Maxwell perjured herself in
48:28
Speaker 1: the deposition when she was asked if Epstein had a
48:31
Speaker 1: scheme to recruit underage girls for sexual massages. Maxwell flatly said,
48:37
Speaker 1: I don't know what you are talking about, and we
48:39
Speaker 1: all know that that's not the case, right. We know
48:42
Speaker 1: that she's a liar, and we know that she's lied
48:44
Speaker 1: throughout this whole entire thing and this whole operation. Get
48:47
Speaker 1: glain out talk about an absolutely ridiculous proposition. She lashed
48:56
Speaker 1: out when she was asked if she ever helped recruit
48:59
Speaker 1: underage girls for aebas to abuse, saying, first of all,
49:02
Speaker 1: you are trying to trap me. I will not be trapped.
49:05
Speaker 1: You were asking me if I recruit. I told you no.
49:08
Speaker 1: I totally resent and find it disgusting that you use
49:11
Speaker 1: the word recruit. I already told you I don't know
49:13
Speaker 1: what you were saying about that, and your implication is repulsive.
49:17
Speaker 1: So we agree on that, Maxwell. People who do this
49:19
Speaker 1: are repulsive, and the fact that you lied about not
49:22
Speaker 1: doing it while calling people who do do it repulsive,
49:26
Speaker 1: we call that projection. Young Lady Maxwell denied that Epstein
49:32
Speaker 1: had any negative, unflattering, private, or potentially embarrassing information on her,
49:36
Speaker 1: and her lawyer objected to the question if the billionaire
49:39
Speaker 1: was aware of any illegal activity that she had conducted.
49:43
Speaker 1: Maxwell claimed she had never done anything illegal, but admitted
49:47
Speaker 1: she had a DUI on her record, stemming from an
49:50
Speaker 1: arrest in the UK. I don't care about that. A
49:53
Speaker 1: DUI is the sort of crime that I look at
49:56
Speaker 1: as somebody makes a mistake. Right of course, if you're
49:58
Speaker 1: a repeat offender, that's different. But people make mistakes, So
50:02
Speaker 1: I won't hold that over somebody's head and look at
50:05
Speaker 1: them as a criminal because they have a DUI on
50:07
Speaker 1: their record. The deposition was redacted in parts, with the
50:12
Speaker 1: names of Prince Andrew, Victoria's secret boss, Les Wexner, Alan Dershowitz,
50:17
Speaker 1: and some mentions of the Clintons blocked out. However, they
50:21
Speaker 1: were still identifiable through details given and previous reporting. Meanwhile,
50:26
Speaker 1: the names of four underage survivors were not redacted in
50:30
Speaker 1: the document, so we know all of that stuff, right.
50:34
Speaker 1: This is just a rehash of what we already know
50:37
Speaker 1: and for you folks to get another good laugh at
50:40
Speaker 1: the ludicrous way the Maxwell family and her defenders went
50:45
Speaker 1: about trying to get her out of jail. They didn't
50:47
Speaker 1: use any sort of evidence, right, nothing that would be
50:50
Speaker 1: even considered a receipt or evidence proving that she's not
50:53
Speaker 1: guilty of these crimes. Instead, they went a whole different
50:56
Speaker 1: way attack. The survivors went for technicalities and tried to
51:02
Speaker 1: use loopholes. Well, when the facts are stacked against you
51:05
Speaker 1: in a manner that they were, glainn. Maxwell, I don't
51:08
Speaker 1: care what loophole you use or what technicalities you have
51:12
Speaker 1: at your fingertips, you are going to get sunk. And
51:16
Speaker 1: for Maxwell and all of her supporters, it couldn't have
51:19
Speaker 1: been a very pleasant road to get where we are.
51:25
Speaker 1: Day after day, court proceeding after court proceeding, just take
51:29
Speaker 1: an l's and to finally culminate with the biggest dell
51:33
Speaker 1: of all Maxwell getting sentenced. So Operation GGO get Galayin
51:39
Speaker 1: out a gigantic failure, and the whole entire operation to
51:45
Speaker 1: try and make Maxwell out to be the victim here. Well,
51:48
Speaker 1: that failed as well. All right, folks, So that's gonna
51:51
Speaker 1: do it for this one. If you'd like to contact me,
