- 0:00Speaker 1: Get a day from Dreamkillers.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here, you're gonna have a chat with Krispy from Heavy
- 0:04Speaker 2: mag about the new dream Killers release Prophe Is cunning Hammy.
- 0:07Speaker 1: It's out now, so thanks to Heavy mate Krispy. How
- 0:12Speaker 1: are you? Oh?
- 0:12Speaker 3: Well, thanks brother? How are you fifty meters across the street.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you.
- 0:16Speaker 2: What, It's just a bit weird have on a conversation
- 0:18Speaker 2: like this when literally I can walk over to your
- 0:20Speaker 2: place and get a coup.
- 0:21Speaker 4: For sure, we could probably open the front doors of
- 0:23Speaker 4: each other's house and just yell at each other and
- 0:26Speaker 4: get any interview done.
- 0:27Speaker 1: That is the true Australian way of doing.
- 0:29Speaker 3: It, isn't it indeed? But we got more pressing issues
- 0:33Speaker 3: to discuss.
- 0:34Speaker 4: As you'd say, dream Killers have released prope Is cunning
- 0:37Speaker 4: Hammy to Day, February twenty seventh.
- 0:40Speaker 3: But did you come up with a harder name of
- 0:43Speaker 3: pronounced for the album title?
- 0:45Speaker 1: Well?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Probably when you look at it, it's the it's a
- 0:53Speaker 2: technical name for the Brisbane lily. It's only it's a
- 0:56Speaker 2: flower that only grows in Brisbane in the Briskman surrounds, so.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Unique to Brisbane.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Keeping that in team with dream Killers is all Brisbane
- 1:08Speaker 2: Bresban Brown, So why not present that out?
- 1:13Speaker 1: True?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Is there any deeper significance either flower opening and blossoming? Like,
- 1:17Speaker 4: are you trying to say that the dream Killers are
- 1:19Speaker 4: flowering and sprouting their their petals.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Oh, I wouldn't go that far, but I would say
- 1:26Speaker 2: that you never know what's going to come out next.
- 1:29Speaker 1: True.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Indeed, that is a little bit romantic to the Dreamiller,
- 1:32Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It is a little bit. It's like a love story.
- 1:35Speaker 1: But come on, you've been following the band for how
- 1:39Speaker 1: long now? Do you think it's a love story?
- 1:41Speaker 3: No, no doubt.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I think it's got a deeper meaning where you know
- 1:45Speaker 1: it's unique to an area, it represents what's there. So well,
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Much of a botanist, So we're going to move on
- 1:54Speaker 4: from the plant life, but tell us more about the
- 1:56Speaker 4: album from musical point of view.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Brown when needs to go and call this time around?
- 2:00Speaker 5: Well, we've tried to use as many different musical inferences
- 2:05Speaker 5: as we can throughout the whole process, keeping it true
- 2:10Speaker 5: to original dream Killers.
- 2:16Speaker 1: From day one.
- 2:17Speaker 2: You've never known what you were going to get back
- 2:19Speaker 2: from the original days to now. But as we've gotten older,
- 2:25Speaker 2: political views change, personal views change, there's news stories out there,
- 2:31Speaker 2: but the main thing that has stayed constant was giving
- 2:34Speaker 2: Leeds the voice pad to bring those stories to life,
- 2:39Speaker 2: giving in the storyboard, and that's where we've sort of
- 2:43Speaker 2: took the time to go, right, here's the songs that
- 2:48Speaker 2: we're working on. Let's make them the best we can.
- 2:51Speaker 2: So not everything fits in a pigeonhole. Every musical element. Yeah,
- 2:59Speaker 2: you've got dream Killers sound, but we had to look
- 3:03Speaker 2: at what makes dream Killers sound Now we can always
- 3:08Speaker 2: look back to influence the future. So that's what we've
- 3:10Speaker 2: tried to do. So what influenced it they what influence
- 3:13Speaker 2: is it now? And what's consistent across the board?
- 3:17Speaker 1: So we're writing.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Looking at everyone's musical interests, influencers and sort of putting
- 3:23Speaker 2: it into that big melting pot where Okay, what do
- 3:28Speaker 2: people expect, what do what do we expect?
- 3:32Speaker 1: And what gives let us the best aspect to tell
- 3:35Speaker 1: the story.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Yeah, actually raise a good point.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Theab's like letter is the only original dream Killers member less,
- 3:42Speaker 4: so we've done only been there for a little while now,
- 3:44Speaker 4: but with members coming and going, like, how hard is
- 3:46Speaker 4: it to keep that consistent stranded dream Coiller's DNA in
- 3:51Speaker 4: the band.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Well, I think the fact was where we're a bit
- 3:55Speaker 2: lucky in that regard is we've all known and we've
- 4:00Speaker 2: listened to dream Kills.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It's been a part of the Brisbane.
- 4:04Speaker 2: DNA has been part of our existence for god knows
- 4:06Speaker 2: how long since it started. So you've just got to
- 4:12Speaker 2: go back and listen to it, and then when you
- 4:14Speaker 2: talk talk to people, find out what it means to them,
- 4:17Speaker 2: not just musicians.
- 4:19Speaker 1: But we're talking about the punters.
- 4:21Speaker 2: What got them about the band, what made them consistently
- 4:26Speaker 2: follow through, what did they like, what did they didn't, what.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Gave les the best launch pad?
- 4:32Speaker 2: So keeping that and the biggest part of it is
- 4:36Speaker 2: going back through and honoring members like Terry and what
- 4:41Speaker 2: Less and Terry started, whether you've got going right back
- 4:45Speaker 2: to Insane Hombres and Mystery of Sixus, you can see
- 4:50Speaker 2: the progression all the way through and all the past
- 4:52Speaker 2: members and they've all left their mark in one way
- 4:56Speaker 2: or another to the forward.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Progression of it.
- 4:59Speaker 2: So you really just want to go through and this
- 5:02Speaker 2: guy presented this what made that work?
- 5:04Speaker 1: Really well?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Not copy it, but use it as an influence to
- 5:08Speaker 2: bring in to what we're doing now.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Did you find that difficult at all?
- 5:14Speaker 4: It sounds like a bit of an elongated process.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Look, time went into it, absolutely, but it wasn't to
- 5:25Speaker 2: overthink it, because if you overthink it's going to get start,
- 5:28Speaker 2: you've just got to What we did do was spend
- 5:31Speaker 2: a fair bit of time working on the field, working
- 5:35Speaker 2: on what felt right and then.
- 5:38Speaker 1: What made those little hairs on your.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Arms stick up and just felt good as a collective
- 5:44Speaker 2: when we listen back to it and what inspired us
- 5:48Speaker 2: to keep going about it, and that actually, although it
- 5:53Speaker 2: may sound dawning, became quite fun.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Became an ongoing challenge.
- 5:57Speaker 2: To create and see what this person's going to add
- 6:01Speaker 2: to it, or Chris is going to add to it,
- 6:03Speaker 2: Steve was going to add to it, Dan was going
- 6:04Speaker 2: to add to it, what I could add to it?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Well, Less was going to add to it and then
- 6:08Speaker 1: throwing it all in the melting pot.
- 6:09Speaker 2: So the excitement that came from that was actually really
- 6:12Speaker 2: really nice and.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Quite refreshing.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Along of those lines, to we mentioned it, Less is
- 6:20Speaker 4: the only actual original member leb So now that's the
- 6:23Speaker 4: right way to put this.
- 6:25Speaker 3: How much creative control do you guys get, Like?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Does he does he oversee everything because he knows what
- 6:31Speaker 4: he wants it to sound like, or does he step
- 6:33Speaker 4: back a bit and let you guys run with it.
- 6:36Speaker 2: What we do, We work as a collective, everyone's everyone's
- 6:40Speaker 2: an equal in the writing process. But with any band,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think you've got to write to your singer. Yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 2: you've got to write to your singer. You can't sit.
- 6:51Speaker 6: There and.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Bring in full euro death metal and ask Lez to
- 6:57Speaker 1: sing that.
- 6:59Speaker 2: And say here, sing on this or or a Taylor
- 7:03Speaker 2: Swift song and says.
- 7:10Speaker 3: No.
- 7:16Speaker 2: So in that regard, it's like, I think that's where
- 7:20Speaker 2: we were fortunate, because you've got enough of Less's history
- 7:24Speaker 2: and his catalog, and you've got to look at what's interest,
- 7:28Speaker 2: what was inspiring him now, which was politically.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What was he listening to, what was giving him that
- 7:34Speaker 1: moment in time?
- 7:36Speaker 2: And I think that if you do that with any
- 7:38Speaker 2: singer that you're working with, you can actually get right
- 7:43Speaker 2: better as a collective.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And you can present better material for your singer to
- 7:47Speaker 1: work with.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like we all work to our strengths and our weaknesses.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Someone's weakness is someone else's strength, and when you combine
- 7:56Speaker 2: it together, it works hand in hand really well.
- 8:01Speaker 3: So the album's only got eight songs on there.
- 8:03Speaker 4: I'd ask you to go on too much lyrically because
- 8:06Speaker 4: Lads has sort of a bit more about that. But
- 8:08Speaker 4: one thing I really loved about the album listening to
- 8:10Speaker 4: it is not no two songs are the same, Like
- 8:13Speaker 4: we actually do cover a bit of a cross section
- 8:15Speaker 4: of Stolton Johnna's So so we run through the songs
- 8:18Speaker 4: one at a time and just tell us a bit.
- 8:20Speaker 3: More about it from musical point of view. So you're
- 8:22Speaker 3: opening with Closed Down the Circus.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Okay, Close Down the Circus was a rather interesting one
- 8:32Speaker 2: to begin with.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Chris came in with the.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Actual carnival sort of feel at the start, and we
- 8:40Speaker 2: sat down in an afternoon and we started recording all
- 8:45Speaker 2: the different instruments on it and getting that feel and
- 8:48Speaker 2: then playing and playing with it. Then he had the
- 8:50Speaker 2: other rifts that come out of it. So he did
- 8:54Speaker 2: have a vision of a journey to go where that
- 8:59Speaker 2: was going to go, and we spent a bit of
- 9:05Speaker 2: time on that one just getting sonically it's jelly out
- 9:10Speaker 2: the way it has. I mean there's a fair bit
- 9:13Speaker 2: so as you know, the song takes you on a
- 9:16Speaker 2: nice journey from start to finish, but it's not a
- 9:19Speaker 2: slow paced.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Journey's it starts pretty, but it's not.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's it's it's a dark pretty like to say, it's
- 9:28Speaker 2: like the flowers. It's all right, now look at and
- 9:32Speaker 2: what is that? Just like the rest of us really well,
- 9:38Speaker 2: you know, you're a handsome man like yourself. Chris brought
- 9:42Speaker 2: that one in and that was a very much a
- 9:45Speaker 2: big starting point for the album. Okay, let let's work
- 9:50Speaker 2: all this and let's build it up and let's brought in.
- 9:57Speaker 1: It's definitely a sort of a protest song.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Because you look at everything that the politicians have done,
- 10:11Speaker 2: we're in no better position, even though they keep telling
- 10:13Speaker 2: us we're going to be in a better position and
- 10:15Speaker 2: they're working for us. It's about the corruption. It's about
- 10:19Speaker 2: the general person not being stood up for like what
- 10:23Speaker 2: they're meant to be. And at the end of the day,
- 10:26Speaker 2: we call Lee's a society. Are the employers of these
- 10:32Speaker 2: people in political power?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Really when you look at it, so why are we
- 10:38Speaker 1: not voicing that?
- 10:40Speaker 2: And that's sort of the call and musically that was
- 10:43Speaker 2: the influence on it, and that gave it the launch
- 10:47Speaker 2: pad for Les and then you have closed down the circus.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Yeah, very sweet all right. The second track is I
- 10:57Speaker 3: was going to say not for city Limits, but it's not.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's not grass fever.
- 11:00Speaker 1: No grass fever. I love this song. It's fun song.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It's just a straut, you know. It's just you've had
- 11:13Speaker 1: a ship week, had a ship day. Fuck you, I'm
- 11:15Speaker 1: going to go out.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And I'm going to own it and just get a
- 11:24Speaker 2: couple of beers in here and have a good night,
- 11:27Speaker 2: good time. That's the feel of it. It's it's just
- 11:35Speaker 2: one of it's just great little song, powers along. You
- 11:41Speaker 2: can move along to it, and it's just it feels
- 11:43Speaker 2: good unless it's got got some great little catches on that.
- 11:47Speaker 1: And vocally that was fun to record when we got that.
- 11:51Speaker 1: That was that was a good day working on that one.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And you know, sonically, trying to follow off from the circus.
- 12:00Speaker 2: So you've gone out of the circus and you've had enough,
- 12:05Speaker 2: you're going out.
- 12:05Speaker 1: You need to blow some sneak. That's where that sort
- 12:08Speaker 1: of ties in.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So look at how it ties in musically with the
- 12:11Speaker 2: song before and.
- 12:14Speaker 1: The song coming in after.
- 12:16Speaker 2: There's one song on the album which sort of might
- 12:19Speaker 2: not as you would think, tie in, and we'll get
- 12:22Speaker 2: to that because you did mention that new review.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I did, indeed, all right, Well, moving on, we have
- 12:27Speaker 3: got Reset Room.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Next, Reset Room that I can't remember how that one
- 12:38Speaker 2: came about, but I do know. It's got a really
- 12:49Speaker 2: catchy chorus line in it musically speaking, and what Les
- 12:57Speaker 2: brought in vocally I was not expected. Consequently, I think
- 13:04Speaker 2: it made the chorus even better. Definitely out of left
- 13:08Speaker 2: field melody wise. Oh but that's the thing with this.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You don't know what you're going to where he's going
- 13:16Speaker 2: to go, and that's the exciting part. So you could have, yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 2: a really nice, big power course and you think it's
- 13:28Speaker 2: the vocals are going to flow along with it, but
- 13:30Speaker 2: what he brings in is a completely different polyrhythm or
- 13:34Speaker 2: accents or he's not going off to kick, but he's
- 13:38Speaker 2: going off the snare, and the accents of it make
- 13:42Speaker 2: that riff make that section even more powerful. So Reset
- 13:47Speaker 2: Broom musically speaking, just fun song really, and once again
- 13:57Speaker 2: you're coming out from the fever your recent adding you're
- 14:00Speaker 2: going in.
- 14:03Speaker 1: To your next part.
- 14:04Speaker 2: So you see how the common flower is. So it's
- 14:07Speaker 2: just always evolving and moving. It's a fluid movement.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Until you get to Shirley that's not a fluid movement.
- 14:13Speaker 4: That's like a bit of a bit of a left
- 14:15Speaker 4: field one day.
- 14:17Speaker 1: That is a left field one. But I tell you what,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I love that song. I love it personally. It is
- 14:26Speaker 1: such a great little song.
- 14:27Speaker 2: And you know, Skyhooks, believe it or not, been a
- 14:32Speaker 2: massive influence on every member of the band. Coming up
- 14:38Speaker 2: to Shirley's anniversary of his death this year is.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a big loss for everyone. It's still
- 14:46Speaker 1: be going now. It's great material, absolutely great.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I mean you remember the days where old Johnny Farnham
- 14:54Speaker 2: was on Hey Hey singing women in uniform.
- 14:57Speaker 1: He comes over and kicks him off the mikee and
- 14:58Speaker 1: sends him up for backing vocal.
- 15:01Speaker 3: So you've got.
- 15:02Speaker 2: That alarican aspect of him. But he was also very
- 15:07Speaker 2: serious and adamant about what he stood for, and we
- 15:11Speaker 2: wanted to pay homage to that musically and.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Lyrically. So that's what that is. It's just a homage
- 15:22Speaker 1: of hey, thank you for giving us. Yeah, something that
- 15:30Speaker 1: was out of left.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Field, and that's Skyhawks were out of left field, completely bonkers.
- 15:38Speaker 2: They're great, and that's how we tried to put as
- 15:41Speaker 2: many different elements that would be like dream Killers in
- 15:46Speaker 2: a song, but also on the Skyhooks in the same way.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I think we got pretty close on that.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I'm not sure.
- 15:55Speaker 4: I Toldian I've actually said that song to Skyhooks to
- 15:58Speaker 4: see what they thought about it, and they said that
- 16:01Speaker 4: they'd already heard it, had already come across the radar,
- 16:03Speaker 4: and they loved it.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yep, yep. I had spoken with Skyhawks about that and
- 16:08Speaker 1: they were very happy with it.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Unfortunately, Bongo passed recently, so we weren't actually able to
- 16:14Speaker 2: follow up any on anymore on that, but I do
- 16:19Speaker 2: know that they did love the song, so hell.
- 16:23Speaker 4: Yeah, right, Well, the next song is my favorite of
- 16:25Speaker 4: the album, self Raising Flower. I don't know why the
- 16:28Speaker 4: fuck or where the fuck you went from playing Flower
- 16:31Speaker 4: to self raising.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Okay, Well, we couldn't use the original song title?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Was Oh well, it's it's in the actual lyrics.
- 16:44Speaker 2: It's in the start of the song. If you're smart
- 16:46Speaker 2: enough and you listen to it, you'll hear it.
- 16:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Okay, it's a dark song, isn't it.
- 16:57Speaker 4: It is this fucking wicked. It grabbed me straight up. Okay,
- 17:00Speaker 4: why couldn't you use the original title before we move on?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Well, possible censorship issues, all right. It was the original
- 17:14Speaker 1: working title. It was called rape cake. Okay cool.
- 17:18Speaker 2: So consequently we couldn't really use that as something remote
- 17:27Speaker 2: being the fact that one, we didn't want to have
- 17:31Speaker 2: a negative stigma about it just on the title, because
- 17:35Speaker 2: it actually covers some really interesting topics. So self raising flower,
- 17:42Speaker 2: which is also part of the song. When you look
- 17:45Speaker 2: at it, she wins in the end, that's the thing.
- 17:52Speaker 2: And we've all got daughters, last thing, and we've called
- 17:57Speaker 2: female friends, we've all got mothers. Some what this girl
- 18:02Speaker 2: went through was something you don't want any woman to
- 18:05Speaker 2: go through. So it was sort of a call against
- 18:09Speaker 2: domestic violence in a way. So when you listen to it,
- 18:17Speaker 2: you'll actually pull apart the lyrics and you look at it. Well,
- 18:22Speaker 2: she got her revenge, good, she got it back. He
- 18:27Speaker 2: got what he deserved. So it's not condoning because we
- 18:33Speaker 2: we don't support violence to it's not.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Our thing.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Is based on a true story or is it competing made.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Up that you've got to talk to less about.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's a last question.
- 18:46Speaker 4: So yeah, right, meeting on meeting, we've got each pity
- 18:52Speaker 4: eat pity.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Musically, that's a little different. Uh, it's more of like
- 19:04Speaker 7: the it's a logan march like that, because let let's
- 19:10Speaker 7: be honest, Loganistan.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Let's let come on bands from logan It's built up there,
- 19:19Speaker 2: come on, let's be real. It's just a logans yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 2: as or as we like to technically call it, Loganistan.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It's on the good side of the river.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Alright. I think we'll move on from that one before
- 19:42Speaker 3: we get ourselves in trouble.
- 19:44Speaker 1: We'll get canceled for that for sure.
- 19:47Speaker 3: We got Mulberry's Sky next.
- 19:52Speaker 2: That's a that's almost verging on popping places, isn't it.
- 19:57Speaker 3: It's definitely definitely cast from a different DNA strand.
- 20:01Speaker 6: Yeah, But lyrically when you listen to it, comparing it
- 20:10Speaker 6: to the other songs, how does it tie in?
- 20:14Speaker 1: And you look at it as a story about what
- 20:16Speaker 1: happens in life?
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's your reprise. You've gone through the ship. You're looking
- 20:26Speaker 2: at what's next? So musically, what's next? Where can we go?
- 20:34Speaker 2: We'll pick ourselves up out of the ship.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Ah, there you go.
- 20:39Speaker 4: Then with Moth coming up as a final track, it's
- 20:41Speaker 4: like the metamorphosis says completed.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Ah.
- 20:46Speaker 2: But then we go into the deluxe edition, which we'll
- 20:48Speaker 2: talk about as well, which we will.
- 20:50Speaker 4: We'll get over Moth first and then I shall give
- 20:52Speaker 4: you the perfect segue for your delukes.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Okay, last song, Oh wow, Moth was fun. Well, after
- 21:18Speaker 2: you picked yourself up, where do you want to go?
- 21:21Speaker 2: You want to own? Yep, I'm here. I'm not going
- 21:25Speaker 2: to deal with that again. Let's keep moving.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Just just the final fuck you. I've got through the
- 21:30Speaker 1: other side.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Here we are and once again you just we're just
- 21:36Speaker 2: trying to tell the story musically. Working on the layers
- 21:44Speaker 2: for that one and the different tones was fun because.
- 21:49Speaker 1: There are parts in there when we were working on
- 21:51Speaker 1: it and it's like, well, that's chalk and cheese.
- 21:53Speaker 2: That doesn't work, And it almost didn't until Lesbee, his
- 21:58Speaker 2: vocal came in with his vocal ideas.
- 22:00Speaker 1: On it, and we sort of melded that together.
- 22:06Speaker 2: So yeah, that that became a bit different, and then
- 22:07Speaker 2: it made sense because musically, you can have a piece
- 22:10Speaker 2: of music which might not make sense, might feel good
- 22:15Speaker 2: sonically when you're listening to it, you know, no, no,
- 22:17Speaker 2: I want to change that. It's not until you get
- 22:19Speaker 2: the whole picture, can you go? Ah, I see why
- 22:22Speaker 2: that works there? And that has been probably the biggest
- 22:26Speaker 2: element with the dream Killers album that we're talking about now,
- 22:31Speaker 2: it's keeping that consistency because.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Initiation by Fire, it was the year before, one single
- 22:40Speaker 1: every month. Yes, very nice.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Now you've sort of ruined the surprise, mate, But because me,
- 22:49Speaker 4: you all know that Dhadrin Killer's fans might be satisfied
- 22:52Speaker 4: with only eight new songs, you are putting out a
- 22:54Speaker 4: deluxe version as well, So tell us about that.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:57Speaker 2: So the deluxe version, we got a couple of tracks
- 23:02Speaker 2: from the singles last year which were only released as singles.
- 23:07Speaker 1: You could not get them on a CD. You could
- 23:09Speaker 1: not get them on the vinyl. They are only digital releases.
- 23:12Speaker 2: They have been remixed, remastered, and re edited and brought
- 23:19Speaker 2: as a special collection de Luxe edition, where you're going
- 23:22Speaker 2: to get.
- 23:24Speaker 1: These five songs.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Six songs.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'll have to check out again.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I think it was.
- 23:29Speaker 1: I think it's six. Yeah, thank you.
- 23:33Speaker 2: That you weren't going to get any other way unless
- 23:35Speaker 2: you got them individually after streaming services.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Now you can have the album and its entirety.
- 23:40Speaker 2: So you're going to have the new version, the remix
- 23:43Speaker 2: remastered version of Dirty Water, Goodbye in the Pie.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Gay Brown, Snake Brown, snake, they diminished.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Yes, all these wonderful songs in there.
- 23:59Speaker 2: So they are actually now coincide together with the album, right,
- 24:05Speaker 2: because the originally we were talking about releasing a double
- 24:08Speaker 2: album because we had so many songs. Then we were doing, now,
- 24:12Speaker 2: let's drop a single every year. Let's try something every month.
- 24:15Speaker 2: So let's try and then we have the follow up album. Well,
- 24:17Speaker 2: we've got these songs that we wanted for the album
- 24:20Speaker 2: EP released. Now we're like, okay, well let's get the
- 24:26Speaker 2: one that we liked and fans liked and the punners
- 24:30Speaker 2: like and put them together and finish that off as
- 24:34Speaker 2: a collective. So, yeah, you can buy the one there,
- 24:41Speaker 2: just the standard edition and you'll get eight great songs.
- 24:44Speaker 1: But you get the DELARX.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Get in fourteen and it makes more of the story,
- 24:51Speaker 2: makes more sense if.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So, that's why it's a limited collectives edition. You'll only
- 24:58Speaker 1: get that.
- 25:00Speaker 2: On that print vinyl CD. That's the only way you're
- 25:05Speaker 2: going to get a version of those songs.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And did you say it's limited limited?
- 25:08Speaker 2: How many you've got to get your orders and see
- 25:12Speaker 2: how many we can print up.
- 25:13Speaker 1: The more we get in, the more we print the.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Only going to be a one off printing. Is it,
- 25:20Speaker 3: like I said, once they're gone.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Once they're gone, they're gone. Yes, So it's so the
- 25:27Speaker 1: limited edition game.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Yeah, three days now. There's something else exciting coming up
- 25:32Speaker 3: with the Dreamkillers.
- 25:32Speaker 4: We'll get into what you're actually doing there in a second,
- 25:35Speaker 4: but you've just recently been announced to play it in
- 25:38Speaker 4: Necrosonic twenty twenty six at the manskil tab It on
- 25:40Speaker 4: August twenty second, alongside rivers of Noel Slycroptic, Brave Mind,
- 25:45Speaker 4: Minus Live, Lynch Mardest, Suppression, Helm Plenty more mate Like,
- 25:50Speaker 4: Necrosonic's always been in Goods Festival, but.
- 25:52Speaker 1: This year, oh this is huge.
- 25:55Speaker 3: We're pretty special.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Oh pity Chris too, because the no, no, you are Chris,
- 26:04Speaker 2: he's got to play twice in one day.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Make him work.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Well, you know, he's playing bass for Minus Life and
- 26:12Speaker 2: he's got to jump on leg guitarle for dream Kills.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Well, all right, go back him in.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Oh no, he'll be fine ill.
- 26:21Speaker 4: And the best thing about this is that I can't
- 26:24Speaker 4: remember the last time this was.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Done, if it hasn't even been done.
- 26:26Speaker 4: But you're going to be playing Poison the Suit and
- 26:28Speaker 4: Carnival of Skin in full, back to back back.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Yep. So that's going to be interesting. Oh yeah, well
- 26:42Speaker 1: you got to think about it.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Nefer Sonic is bringing great music back and those two
- 26:49Speaker 2: EPs are fantastic. They were the starting point of it,
- 26:53Speaker 2: and why not give that a goodment revisit. Yeah, some
- 26:59Speaker 2: great songs, crowd favorites and what can put together with Nakasonic?
- 27:06Speaker 4: Why wouldn't we that they've all brought out together in
- 27:09Speaker 4: a special thing called Poisoned Carnival, weren't they?
- 27:12Speaker 1: They work?
- 27:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's ever been done before where they've been
- 27:15Speaker 4: playing live back to back, not that.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm aware of.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I don't think they have, but many, many of the
- 27:22Speaker 2: songs have been played live, but not like that.
- 27:27Speaker 3: To my knowledge, that's going to be worth the price
- 27:30Speaker 3: of admission lay and I'm frothen you ever.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Know what's going to happen? That lineup's massive. He's out
- 27:38Speaker 1: done himself.
- 27:39Speaker 3: He does every year.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Good on him, Good on him? And what else have
- 27:44Speaker 4: you guys got planned between now and then? You've got
- 27:45Speaker 4: any other shows or is that going to be your
- 27:47Speaker 4: first year?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Well that's that's really the main point of the year.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Everything else is just supporting and promoting the relief and
- 28:00Speaker 2: seen what comes out. There might be something pop up
- 28:04Speaker 2: here and there that will be a special event.
- 28:08Speaker 1: But we'll keep everyone informed on that as that happens.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Fantastic Daniel, thanks for your time. Broke the album prophe
- 28:16Speaker 4: is hanging harmony or cunning handy. I can't even to
