- 0:34Speaker 2: Listen. I know it's gonna make me sound like the worst,
- 0:37Speaker 2: but honestly, I really don't feel that bad.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Okay, Oh okay, Well that changed quickly, all of a sudden.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You're like that, maybe I'm not that bad. Okay, what
- 0:45Speaker 1: did you do?
- 0:46Speaker 2: So? I used to be really close with this girl
- 0:49Speaker 2: at work, like brunches, lunches everything to get you know,
- 0:53Speaker 2: just venning about life, all of it. And she's newer
- 0:56Speaker 2: to the company, like maybe started early last year. We vibe.
- 1:00Speaker 2: We clicked right away and our company had a Christmas
- 1:05Speaker 2: party and that's when everything changed. Why Like I'm not
- 1:09Speaker 2: even playing. She was all over my husband. What oh,
- 1:13Speaker 2: just like touching his arm, laughing really hard at his jokes,
- 1:17Speaker 2: like way too close, just not at all subtle. And
- 1:24Speaker 2: it wasn't just me noticing, like other coworkers were like,
- 1:26Speaker 2: I mean, like do this. I'm like I see it.
- 1:29Speaker 1: So it wasn't questionable, because sometimes it's questionable whether someone's
- 1:33Speaker 1: flirting or not. But it was obvious to everybody that
- 1:35Speaker 1: she was flirting with your man.
- 1:36Speaker 2: So it was like it was so embarrassing. And what
- 1:39Speaker 2: made it worse is my husband didn't even shut it down,
- 1:43Speaker 2: like at all. And yes we got into a fight
- 1:46Speaker 2: into it, but that's like a whole other thing, Like
- 1:48Speaker 2: why didn't you say something? I asked? But whatever. Anyway,
- 1:52Speaker 2: a few days later I confronted her and she apologized
- 1:57Speaker 2: and said, that's just my whole personality. I get touchy
- 2:01Speaker 2: feely when I drink a little something, when I get
- 2:03Speaker 2: lit and whatever, blah blah blah. And I was just
- 2:07Speaker 2: like cool. I accepted it, but on the surface.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Right, so you didn't really believe her. I hate when
- 2:12Speaker 1: people give that excuse.
- 2:13Speaker 2: By the way, Yeah me too.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It's just my personality. It's just my personality.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Okay, Well take your personality somewhere else, you know, girl Clockett.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, don't touch my husband and be you. But you're right,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you're right. You take it to a single man.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah no, And I was never cool with her. Again
- 2:32Speaker 2: is the truth. And just like I've kept it, I've
- 2:35Speaker 2: kept a professional moved on. At least that's what she thought.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Oh no, fast forward, big project do and very important
- 2:44Speaker 2: bosses watching kind of a thing. And she reaches out
- 2:47Speaker 2: to me asks about the deadline. Okay, and here's where
- 2:51Speaker 2: it gets a little interesting. I may have been a
- 2:53Speaker 2: little wahaha, like a little evil. She emailed me first,
- 3:00Speaker 2: but I'm not dumb and I'm not putting that in writing.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So I called her and I told her, I'm like, nol,
- 3:06Speaker 2: you know, it's just acting weird. So I gave her
- 3:09Speaker 2: the wrong date.
- 3:11Speaker 1: You gave her the wrong what do you mean? The
- 3:13Speaker 1: wrong date as far as.
- 3:14Speaker 2: When that thing was deadline? Oh look, she didn't even
- 3:19Speaker 2: double check it. Okay, she turned it in, got written up,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and I'm telling you now that promotion that she was
- 3:25Speaker 2: up for like gone.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I mean do I I just do?
- 3:28Speaker 2: I feel bad? Honestly no, because she should have verified it.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I feel like that's on her.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And she should have known better to come to you
- 3:36Speaker 1: to ask. I mean maybe she was trying to be
- 3:38Speaker 1: nice and you know, build that bridge back and that
- 3:40Speaker 1: connection back. Hey oh wow, So she ended up getting
- 3:45Speaker 1: in trouble for turning this in late?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Yes, like was it two days? I knew I was
- 3:55Speaker 2: going to get I knew I was going to get
- 3:56Speaker 2: my payback. I just didn't know when. And the opportunity
- 4:00Speaker 2: presented itself.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, so I took it. I mean it could have
- 4:04Speaker 1: been worse.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess. But what do you mean he could
- 4:07Speaker 2: have been? I mean she lost a promotion for that
- 4:11Speaker 2: serious If you do.
- 4:13Speaker 1: That to her, I don't even want to know what
- 4:14Speaker 1: you did to your man. I like that She's like,
- 4:18Speaker 1: he didn't shut it down. That is a weird situation
- 4:20Speaker 1: to be in, Like what are you supposed to do? Is?
- 4:22Speaker 1: As a man, sometimes we're oblivious to someone flirting with us.
- 4:27Speaker 2: If you probably didn't want to be weird in front
- 4:28Speaker 2: of your co workers, right and embarrass you.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Well, then go be with her. I can only imagine
- 4:33Speaker 1: it right exactly. I can't stay there. Then go have
- 4:36Speaker 1: fun with then go spend Christmas with her
