- 1:35Speaker 3: I'm doing okay? Mark, are you doing it good?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Good?
- 1:39Speaker 3: So I just wanted to say something about Clive Davis. Yes,
- 1:42Speaker 3: I've worked for a music attorney for over thirty years,
- 1:46Speaker 3: and I still remember going to a showcase for an
- 1:49Speaker 3: unknown artist, puzzling of Gavin d grau uh huh. And
- 1:53Speaker 3: Clive was invited to that showcase, and I still remember,
- 1:57Speaker 3: and I've never experienced before or since, Clyde Davis walking
- 2:01Speaker 3: into that club and you could have heard a pin drop.
- 2:06Speaker 3: He was so well respected by artists, by songwriters. And
- 2:11Speaker 3: I saw him again on Madison Avenue one day, which
- 2:14Speaker 3: with my husband and I approached him, introduced myself, and
- 2:18Speaker 3: he was so engaging.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he was always a nice guy. He was nice
- 2:21Speaker 1: to everybody. He was a people person who loved to
- 2:23Speaker 1: do it.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Well, you know, it's a big loss, it really really is.
- 2:27Speaker 3: But you know, he's left the world a wonderful legacy.
- 2:30Speaker 1: But again, he got to ninety four and he was
- 2:32Speaker 1: running around going out every night up until ninety four.
- 2:35Speaker 3: So that's a pretty good anyway, That's what I wanted
- 2:38Speaker 3: to say.
- 2:39Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. Let's go to Bob and
- 2:43Speaker 1: Cape Canaveral. Bob, how you doing. I'm good, Mark, Kelly good.
- 2:48Speaker 1: What are you doing in Cape Canaveral. You're an astronaut?
- 2:52Speaker 4: Sure? Okay, only at night at happy hour?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, a genie, are you making? Yes?
- 3:00Speaker 4: You always cry about the hot weather.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Well because I don't live in Florida. See, you people
- 3:05Speaker 1: have to deal with this every day. This is what
- 3:07Speaker 1: it's like for you forever, so you get used to it.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I lived in New York till I was fifty five,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I think, and it never seemed to get super hot.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah it did a little humid, No, it did. They
- 3:19Speaker 1: had heat waves like this back then. I don't know.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I don't really know. I hate to break it to you.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But you could. Actually was a Casey Stangle who said
- 3:27Speaker 1: you could look it up. You can look it up.
- 3:29Speaker 1: In fact, if you go back, you could watch old
- 3:31Speaker 1: TV shows from the fifties and sixties. You know you
- 3:34Speaker 1: watch Naked City. There's an episode about the brutal heat
- 3:37Speaker 1: wave and what it caused in New York. Well, let's
- 3:40Speaker 1: go to Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich how you doing?
- 3:44Speaker 4: Thanks? Mark? You know you mentioned Dion walk I didn't
- 3:46Speaker 4: even know if she was alive. She's got to be
- 3:48Speaker 4: into a nineties by now, right.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Nah, I don't think she's said, oh, Dion Warwick.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I would say I'd look it up, but well, no.
- 3:56Speaker 1: She was around with the Beatles, the beat she's eight.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, eighty five. Okay, well that makes sense. But you
- 4:04Speaker 4: know gas down here is a three point thirty five
- 4:06Speaker 4: yesterday today it's three fifty nine. You know, the price
- 4:10Speaker 4: of gas goes up immediately when the price all goes up.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yet the price of oil plummets in a matter of
- 4:15Speaker 4: two weeks, and it takes a month for the price
- 4:17Speaker 4: you get down. You I Trump should just go and
- 4:19Speaker 4: finish a job. Take over the straights, take all the
- 4:21Speaker 4: oil and get this gas back. Down to two dollars
- 4:24Speaker 4: two dollars and fifty cents in a place for home.
- 4:26Speaker 4: But this is just getting ridiculous that this price of
- 4:29Speaker 4: gas just isn't coming down as fast as it's really
- 4:31Speaker 4: supposed to fast as he says it is coming down.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's why he's not threatening the oil companies. But don't worry,
- 4:36Speaker 1: he'll figure it out. Give them time, he'll get here.
- 4:38Speaker 4: You should have done that.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You know, everybody tell you should have done this. You
- 4:42Speaker 1: should have done that, You should have done it. Don't worry.
- 4:44Speaker 1: He knows how to make things.
- 4:45Speaker 4: The best h ever was. But come on, you know you.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Can't have dolls. Calm down.
- 4:51Speaker 4: You had I'm not a panic and I've never been
- 4:53Speaker 4: like that.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You had much more than that for years of Biden.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Don't worry, he'll figure it out. Thanks for calling. Let's
- 4:58Speaker 1: go to uh Vincent Brooklyn Vincent, how you doing.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark of morning, Congratulations on the barrett Wood market.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Have a great time at the ceremony. Mark. There is
- 5:10Speaker 5: a way around this. Uh seemingly setback about the postage job,
- 5:18Speaker 5: the postmark on the on the votes on election day.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Since the presidential election, the federally a federal election. And
- 5:29Speaker 5: since the post Office is a federal agency, just trump
- 5:35Speaker 5: or they should put it into law, have the Postmaster
- 5:38Speaker 5: General of the United States direct the Postmaster's General of
- 5:43Speaker 5: each individual state to say, any ballot that comes in
- 5:48Speaker 5: with a postmark after this election day, just put them
- 5:54Speaker 5: on the side, because this way they can't be counted
- 5:58Speaker 5: in with the Act votes, the votes that have the
- 6:02Speaker 5: right date on them. And also they got that's where
- 6:06Speaker 5: all the checking has to be done because in these
- 6:08Speaker 5: sleazy Democratic states. Now, if I was Gavin Newsom, let's
- 6:13Speaker 5: say what I would do is I'd mail out the ballot,
- 6:16Speaker 5: but I would put two mailers in there, so one
- 6:22Speaker 5: if they sent it out before midnight of election day,
- 6:27Speaker 5: and one with no posts would not do on it.
- 6:32Speaker 5: So this way the crooks in the Democratic States could
- 6:36Speaker 5: put their own watermark on it. But the way to
- 6:39Speaker 5: get around it is stopping at the federal level.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Well, hopefully we will one day, Vincent. We got to
- 6:44Speaker 1: go do the news. But great call. Hey, when we
- 6:46Speaker 1: come back, Michael Goodwin, we'll be with us. We'll talk
- 6:49Speaker 1: to him next on seven to ten wor
