- 0:03Jasmine oolong, green and white.
- 0:07Long ago, these four tees were skilfully brewed at the Blissful Brew.
- 0:11Then, everything changed when the shop's popularity threatened its existence.
- 0:17All Mr.
- 0:17Okran, the shop's owner and teammaster, could do was to recruit four teenage orphans to learn his trade and staff his shop.
- 0:26A year has passed since the orphans were hired, and although their skills have progressed, they still have a lot to learn before they can brew anything.
- 0:34But I believe that they have the potential to make the Blissful Brew the greatest tea shop in the world.
- 0:41Last time on Benders and Brews an Avatar Legends Podcast mika, you've got a big old Voss of muddy duck and fish poop water.
- 0:50I want to find a way to put my water into those pots.
- 0:54I'll walk up to Hot Leaf Car, just act like I own it, walk up, grab a box.
- 0:59So, sure enough, nobody really questions anything that you're doing.
- 1:02You just grab a box.
- 1:03I want to take the two T boxes.
- 1:05I'll earth bend a card for them.
- 1:07I'm going to wheel it around the building and just catapult them over the hedge maze with my crates.
- 1:15Now in the maze, I just nonchalantly walk inside, and I take a post up at the Hot Meat Juice.
- 1:22You see this woman walking towards your friends who are setting up the booth for the Blissful Brew? Well, the Blissful Brew.
- 1:32I wasn't expecting to see your company here.
- 1:36My name is Madame Yang, owner and CEO of Hot Leaf Juice.
- 1:44I'm sure your boss, Mr.
- 1:47Ocaron, probably mentioned me.
- 1:50Can't two companies coexist at the same party? Well, I suppose we have no choice now, don't we? You suddenly see the familiar face of Mr.
- 2:00Okra making his way down towards you with a small cart filled with various ingredients.
- 2:07Well, I was told you would show up eventually, Madame Yang, sir.
- 2:14Oh, you can say it, you old fool.
- 2:17You're not happy to see me.
- 2:19And believe me, the same can be said for you.
- 2:23No, it's good to see you.
- 2:26We used to study together under a tea master.
- 2:29She was from a wealthy family.
- 2:31I'm very passionate from a young age, even about tea.
- 2:34Her parents were not happy with the fact that a tea master that they had tired to tutor her were allowing me to sit in on those lessons and also learn.
- 2:43And so they did everything in their power to make sure that I was unable to do so.
- 2:47She stabbed me in the back, fairly literally.
- 2:51So I had to flee.
- 2:52But thankfully, that's where I was able to travel around the world and learn the key skills and arts of so many different cultures and groups.
- 3:01I think it's you who wouldn't understand, given that you're little more than an employee at a dying tea shop after all.
- 3:12And welcome back, everybody, to Benders and Bruises, the Avatar Legends.
- 3:17Real play or actual play? Podcast.
- 3:19I've heard both ways.
- 3:20I don't know what you guys think as far as that goes, but I hear actual play a lot more.
- 3:25So now I'm feeling a little silly about it that I've spent real play this whole time.
- 3:28I don't know.
- 3:28It works either way as far as I'm concerned.
- 3:31Anyways, all that being said, just a quick little bit to our intro here.
- 3:37Connor, aka.
- 3:39Broccoli, is out for the day, so he was unable to make it, which is okay, see him next time.
- 3:47But that's all right, because now that he's thrown the tea into the maze, as you might remember from last time, yeah, he's going to just be working away under cover for hot leaf juice for the time being.
- 4:01So that's where we're going to have him at.
- 4:04And by next episode, when he's back, we should see where that ends up taking us.
- 4:10Other than that, let's kick things off with our intro.
- 4:14We got a couple of announcements as well along the way, one of which is that we have a discord now, so if you pull us up on any social media or inside of our episode information and things like that, you should be able to find a link.
- 4:26You can head on over and join our Discord Channel.
- 4:29You can talk to some of the cast.
- 4:31I know myself, and Cameron plays Bill Dor, we're both on there, so yeah, come on over.
- 4:36We have our voice actress, who is voicing Madame Yang and doing a phenomenal job of it.
- 4:42She's also over there, so definitely say hello to her because we're excited to have her as part of the cast.
- 4:50Other than that yeah, let's jump into the intro.
- 4:53So the question for today is and this one actually comes from our voice actress.
- 5:00She goes by Eclectic Wendigo on the Discord Channel, and she asked, what animal do you feel each of you feel like represents your character? And we're going to go in the style of Avatar style animals.
- 5:16So nothing is just itself except for a bear.
- 5:19There is a bear, but other than that, everything is some sort of amalgamation of two animals or three animals or some other obscure take.
- 5:29So, Guo, do you want to start us off for Dave? Sure thing.
- 5:34This is Guelhan the Adamant playing an earth bender.
- 5:39And I would say GuoHan is most like a top hat squiddle.
- 5:47The top hat squiddle, just like a friend, as some of you who follow the Facebook group may know, is what dilbert.
- 5:55That's right.
- 5:56Who were you referred to as a squid is actually so top hat squiddle is like a turtle crossed with a squid, like Guilhon.
- 6:08He's clever.
- 6:08He can get into the chinks and the enemy's armor.
- 6:13But also he's had a bit of a rough past, like I think many of our group had.
- 6:19So he can take it, but he can also kind of dish it out.
- 6:24Sure.
- 6:25He's kind of a little bit protective, so he's got that shell that he might hide within.
- 6:30Right.
- 6:31All right.
- 6:32I like it.
- 6:33I like it.
- 6:33Bringing it back to good old Dilbert, who we all know and love.
- 6:37Bill, dorry you got one in the cannon, so to speak? What do you got? The rare and elusive tiger crane.
- 6:48It is a crane, but its feathers are orange and black.
- 6:54It's stripes of a tiger, and it has a long tail.
- 6:58Okay.
- 7:00And how do you feel like this kind of coincides with it's both elegant with fierce colors.
- 7:08Oh, okay.
- 7:09Because he's a dressy guy.
- 7:11Yes.
- 7:11Right.
- 7:12So that's the elegant side.
- 7:13And maybe Susan will get to see those fierce colors really come out.
- 7:18Maybe, I don't know.
- 7:19See those true colors.
- 7:21That's right.
- 7:21Shining through.
- 7:24Yeah.
- 7:24Maybe my true feelings for tea might shine through.
- 7:27Maybe.
- 7:30I know Mr.
- 7:30Oakram would love that.
- 7:32Mica, mikayla, what do you got? I would say Mika is more like a bear cat.
- 7:44A bear cat? Yeah.
- 7:46Tell me what it is about a bear cat that really says Mica.
- 7:52Well, the bear part she's grizzly on the outside.
- 7:57She has lost experience forgine kind of being a loner.
- 8:03The cat part, she's actually I don't know if I can really say cats are sweet and cuddly, but they have a softer side to them.
- 8:13A little bit of sass.
- 8:14Oh, yeah.
- 8:16So it's a bit of a Survivor fighter, but then also kind of a little bit like a softer but also kind of what would you say the word is? Like a crafty side? Problematic, probably.
- 8:31Problematic.
- 8:32Definitely a bit at least I describe cats.
- 8:36Yeah, no, that's true.
- 8:37They sometimes can be.
- 8:39Every cat is different, as we know.
- 8:41We've got two very opposite cats in this house, for sure.
- 8:46Awesome.
- 8:46All right, perfect.
- 8:47Well, I think it's time that we get started.
- 8:52All right.
- 8:53So as we left off last time, we've got two individuals, Bill and Guo, who are both helping Mr.
- 9:00O'quran set up, and soon, once the party begins, start serving their tea to the various partygoers the party, of course, is happening at.
- 9:11And we hadn't talked about the name of the family that's hosting the party.
- 9:14We talked about the Shifu family that helped set up all the preparation and stuff like that for vendors or not vendors, rather caterers and the house itself.
- 9:29And you guys probably would have caught onto this either by talking to Mr.
- 9:32O'Hara or either just seeing their name on things or something at the house.
- 9:38But the family is the Utoko family that is actually hosting this.
- 9:45Why are the parties happening? You're not 100% sure yet.
- 9:47You could maybe ask Mr.
- 9:49O'Hara about that.
- 9:50Maybe he knows.
- 9:51But whatever the case, they haven't revealed that yet.
- 9:53On the other hand, we have Brock and Mika, who have disguised themselves and sort of made themselves seem like members of the hot leaf juice, which is their competition, which is who they are splitting the sort of catering needs for tea with during this event.
- 10:16Mika, you just headed back or well, you headed away from the booth.
- 10:20The Blissful group.
- 10:21You had been talking with, Mr.
- 10:23Ocaron and the other two, they kind of made sure to say things to not pass off the idea that you necessarily work there.
- 10:31Although Mr.
- 10:32Ocara might have said a couple of things but nobody was around.
- 10:34So I don't think your cover is broken by any means.
- 10:38But you walked away to quote unquote, go change.
- 10:41So what is your plan? Where are you off to? I'm going to walk around.
- 10:46Okay.
- 10:47What were they doing inside again when I left them? You would try to sort of mess with the water supply that they had in there and in the process you had caused a bit of a leak and they were currently in the process of cleaning it up, trying to find where the water was coming from and things like that and fix whatever that problem was.
- 11:09Otherwise there's a handful of other employees that are just kind of generally just setting up the cups and setting those out or if there's any, whatever, the ingredients haven't been thrown into the maze, never to be seen again allegedly by Brock earlier on today.
- 11:25They're prepping those ingredients.
- 11:27So just kind of finishing touches before the party begins and what do I see as I'm walking back inside? Because obviously that's where the bathroom would be.
- 11:36Okay.
- 11:37All right.
- 11:37So you walk back inside.
- 11:39Like I said, most people are just rushing around putting the finishing touches on anything.
- 11:44You notice that there are a lot less staff members that are out and about because many of them have rushed off to the kitchen or kind of behind the scenes kind of areas to basically ready themselves for service during the party, whether that be running dishes out to the people out there or could be anything.
- 12:03It could be grabbing towels for somebody or grabbing something for somebody's needs or whatever the case.
- 12:09So it's pretty light.
- 12:11As far as staff go, aside from obviously anybody that's there is a caterer, they are finishing any touches.
- 12:18There's a few foods.
- 12:20There are some people that are serving these like just several variations of meatballs.
- 12:26There's somebody that's serving orders a lot of it's mostly like order of little things.
- 12:35There's like stuffed mushrooms and I'm trying to think of more ancient style.
- 12:42There's like lady finger cookies, some small cake, lots of dessert item kind of things like small desserts things along those lines.
- 12:51Parfaits, they got fancy parfaits.
- 12:54Are there any fruit? Just straight fruit? Yes.
- 13:00So the staff like I mentioned that was kind of running back.
- 13:03There are a handful of them that are doing things in the kitchen and you kind of get the vibe based on some of like you might even walk back there and they're not going to say anything about it.
- 13:12And as you kind of walk through the kitchen, you notice some of the things that they're preparing.
- 13:15And most of what they're preparing is very basic stuff.
- 13:18So things like sliced fruit or whole fruit, if it's something like a strawberry or something like that, sort of small things that someone could just kind of pick off a plate, not so much anything that needs to be cooked or baked or leaving most of that kind of stuff to the banana.
- 13:35Yeah, I'm going to take a banana.
- 13:37Okay.
- 13:37And I'm going to eat it while I'm walking back towards the hot leaf.
- 13:43All right, perfect.
- 13:44So, yeah, you're eating away at this banana.
- 13:46As you make your way back to the hot leaf booth, one of the employees sees you, and they're like, what are you doing? You're supposed to be over here getting things ready, and you're just walking around eating a banana.
- 13:56We are running behind over here.
- 13:58I needed a little energy.
- 14:00Oh, my gosh.
- 14:01Well, hurry up and get started.
- 14:03We need help with the cups.
- 14:04We need help with the water is a whole mess of a situation.
- 14:08We're trying to get that dealt with, but that just means that we've got other people that have runoff, and they're dealing with that.
- 14:13And then all of a sudden, as he's kind of, like, berating you about things that need to be done, madame Yang and one of her employees come walking in very quickly.
- 14:23They seem a bit anxious, and they come walking in, and Madame Yang looks around at everybody that's there, and she sees you standing there.
- 14:31She sees the person that's yelling, semi yelling at you standing there, and she looks over at the employee that's staying there with her, and she says, you.
- 14:40And you, I need you to go with Covall into town and bring me back some very important tea ingredients immediately.
- 14:49Okay.
- 14:51She pointed at me.
- 14:52Yes.
- 14:53Oh, man.
- 14:55Okay, I'm going to look for a trash cannon to throw my banana palm.
- 15:02And while I'm turning, I'm going to drop my banana peel.
- 15:07I'm going to accidentally step on it, and then I'm going to be very dramatic and falling in hopes that I knock some of their tea glasses over.
- 15:18Okay.
- 15:20I'm going to call this a trick.
- 15:22So role for trick, which is creativity, always two nine.
- 15:28Nine.
- 15:28Okay.
- 15:29So on a seven to nine, you pick one, and you can make this.
- 15:33Well, I guess it would still be there.
- 15:34So I'm going to assume that they overcommit and they are deceived.
- 15:40I would assume that's kind of what you're going for right out of the options that are here.
- 15:44So they're deceived.
- 15:45They believe that you legitimately slipped on a banana banana peel unintentionally, and you're able to pull it off.
- 15:52So you slip on this banana peel.
- 15:54You widen your arms out plenty wide to make sure that you really knock down a handful of stuff.
- 16:00And sure enough.
- 16:01You come crashing down.
- 16:02Knocking down a handful.
- 16:03A pretty hefty handful of cups.
- 16:06Small plates.
- 16:07Those little.
- 16:07Like.
- 16:08Saucers and things along those lines.
- 16:11Spilling a little bit of water as you do.
- 16:12Which is ironic because you're really messing with their water supply this whole time.
- 16:17And she's infuriated when she sees it.
- 16:19She's like, what are you doing? Who left a banana peel laying around? We don't even serve banana peels.
- 16:29She starts yelling at one of the staff members that are, like, walking by.
- 16:32She sees that they have, like, a platter of fruit.
- 16:34You there with the fruit.
- 16:36How dare you leave one of your filthy banana peels lying around near my stall for my employee to slip on? Do you not see how much damage you've caused me and my business? I swear we weren't cutting any bananas out of here.
- 16:55I don't know where it could have come from.
- 16:57And she says, you, one more slip up like that, and you're fired.
- 17:04Now get out there and get me those ingredients.
- 17:08And she hands a piece of paper, it looks like a list of some kind to the employee that's kind of walking alongside her.
- 17:14And she's like, I'm putting Coval in charge.
- 17:19He has a list of ingredients.
- 17:22You follow him and do exactly what he says.
- 17:26If I hear from him that either of you were slacking or not taking this task with the utmost of urgency, you will not be riding back to your jobs in buzzing say, okay, I'll walk out.
- 17:40Walks in.
- 17:41All right, so the three of you head out.
- 17:44You start walking into town.
- 17:46As you're walking, the other two start it's pretty quiet, honestly.
- 17:51They don't seem like they want to talk.
- 17:53In fact, they even try to push for everybody to kind of jog a little bit to really move the situation along.
- 18:01And where's this list that he has? It's just in his hand.
- 18:04He's got it rolled up, and he's just kind of holding it in his fist.
- 18:08So no pockets? No.
- 18:11Well, I mean, he might have pockets.
- 18:12It's just he doesn't have it in his pocket.
- 18:15And what's around on the path? A few trees here and there.
- 18:19It's not, like, super heavily wooded, and then otherwise, it just kind of turns into a little bit of a field on either side.
- 18:26But it's pretty short lived because this house is not too far from town.
- 18:30It is like a big, ornate, fancy house.
- 18:32So it's a little bit on the outskirts just because there's so much to this, like, their yard and everything like that.
- 18:39So they want to have enough space to kind of separate from the poor people.
- 18:45So it's not too long before you're in TownTown.
- 18:48And there's lots of people in town, I'm assuming.
- 18:50Kind of yeah, I would say it's probably getting towards kind of, like, dinner time, so probably around maybe five or 06:00 in the afternoon.
- 19:00And, yeah, there's a pretty decent movement of people either leaving work or maybe heading to go get something for dinner.
- 19:07They're with their families, so there's a pretty good amount of people that are running around or walking around.
- 19:11All right, I'm going to turn to the guy who has a list, and I'm going to say, why don't we divide up things on the list so we can get more work done faster? And he said, that's good thinking, I like that idea.
- 19:23And then the one that was kind of berating you earlier, he says, Well, I think myself and what's her name? Mika.
- 19:31Mika, yes.
- 19:33I think we should go together.
- 19:35And he kind of has a look in his eye that he doesn't exactly trust you, given that he saw you eating the banana.
- 19:42So he kind of knows the banana was on you, but he didn't say anything in the moment because it was really crazy.
- 19:47And the guy says, sure, that works for me.
- 19:50He kind of just tears the paper in half and then hands you guys one and then he takes the other one.
- 19:56Who has he handed you? I guess he just pulled it out.
- 19:59I take it.
- 20:00Roll someone give me a dice.
- 20:03We'll see who grabs it first.
- 20:05Just one? Yeah, we'll roll one.
- 20:07Okay.
- 20:10Six.
- 20:11Oh, okay.
- 20:12Yeah, you grab it before he does.
- 20:14Here you go.
- 20:15He kind of, like, glares at you ever so slightly, but otherwise you have the list.
- 20:21Okay.
- 20:22So as we're walking towards the shops, booths, wherever we need these ingredients from, I'm kind of going to walk fast and I'm going to kind of like interweave in between people to see if I can try and lose him.
- 20:34Okay, let's call that, but I don't want to make it obvious I'm trying to lose.
- 20:39Right.
- 20:40He was just trying to grab it faster than that because he's worried she's just going to buy a bunch of bananas.
- 20:46Let's call this a push your luck because again, he's already suspicious of you, so he might catch on to the fact that you might be trying to lose them.
- 20:57Unless, of course, you succeed.
- 21:00It is passion.
- 21:02I got a four.
- 21:03You're not able to lose them.
- 21:04Dang it.
- 21:05And he's kind of catching on to the fact that you seem to be up to something.
- 21:07And he says, hey, I think you should give me the list.
- 21:11There's really no need for that.
- 21:13And I put it in my dress.
- 21:16He kind of looks at you angry and he's like, by the way, where are you from anyways? I don't remember seeing you when we all got in the cart back in Boston.
- 21:25Say, where am I from? Yeah, from around here and there.
- 21:28I kind of travel a lot.
- 21:29Probably why you haven't seen me, because I kind of hop from place to place.
- 21:32So you're not even from our location? No, I am from your location.
- 21:36I'm just like a new guy.
- 21:37Girl, you have an ability that refers to lying, don't you? Would it be my Roguish charm? Yeah.
- 21:45Do you want to roll your roguish charm and see how well you're able to kind of convince him that no, I'm with you guys.
- 21:50I'm just new.
- 21:50I'm going to give myself a fatigue so that I can roll with creativity instead of harmony.
- 21:56I got a six.
- 21:57It says no.
- 21:59See, I remember everyone getting into the cart back in Bossing Say, and I don't remember seeing you.
- 22:06I came in my own cart.
- 22:08What? There were only two carts.
- 22:10Who are you really? Madame Yang doesn't like the new people.
- 22:14She doesn't really trust them.
- 22:15She's like, oh, find your own way.
- 22:16So I did.
- 22:17No, something's off about you.
- 22:19You're not with our company at all.
- 22:21You want the honest answer? I'll give it to you.
- 22:24Okay.
- 22:25I really was just looking for a job because I'm in need of money.
- 22:28Because, like I said, I travel from place to place, and I need a little extra cash to travel to the next place.
- 22:34So I decided to try and secretively employ myself with you guys so I could get a paycheck at the end of the night.
- 22:42That doesn't even make sense.
- 22:44If you're not signed onto a contract, then there's no obligation to pay you.
- 22:49Not to mention, you haven't gone through Madame Yang's special training, which is necessary for anyone who wants to work at Hot Leaf Juice, the finest tea establishment in all the world.
- 22:59I mean, she did send me to go get these items off her list, so I feel like she'll pay me.
- 23:05She has a lot on her plate at the moment with the party, but I think you need to give me that list right now.
- 23:13Like I said, I can't really do that.
- 23:15Give me the list.
- 23:19And then he takes up a fighting stance.
- 23:25Whoa.
- 23:25Combat in this game.
- 23:27Combat.
- 23:29So he is initiating an exchange because he doesn't trust you.
- 23:36So I need you to pick one of the three moves that you want to move forward on.
- 23:44Combat moves.
- 23:46I think I'm going to defend and maneuver.
- 23:50Okay, sounds good.
- 23:51And he is going to advance an attack, obviously.
- 23:55So for defending maneuver, you are going to roll your two dice.
- 24:05I got a three.
- 24:09I think that means that you do nothing on the middle stumble, but you can shift your balance away from center to use one basic technique.
- 24:18Okay.
- 24:19So you can shift your balance towards one of those two sides based on kind of the situation and what you feel like.
- 24:26You can relate to this.
- 24:27I shifted towards survival.
- 24:29So you can read, you can retaliate, or you can seize a position.
- 24:36I'm going to seize a position.
- 24:38Okay.
- 24:39So you move to a new location.
- 24:42You can engage or disengage with a foe, overcome a negative status or danger, or establish an advantageous position or escape the scene.
- 24:52Any foe engaged with you can mark one fatigue to block this technique.
- 24:56I want to escape the scene.
- 24:58Okay.
- 24:59He is definitely going to mark a fatigue in order to keep you.
- 25:02He blocked you up.
- 25:03So what happens is you turn to run, saying that he's about to take a fighting stance against you, and he rushes over and blocks you just as you're about to run.
- 25:13Then he is going to advance an attack, and he is going to use forceful blow.
- 25:20So he's going to swing in an enemy with all his might, sending them flying.
- 25:24He marks fatigue and inflicts to fatigue.
- 25:27Or one condition of his choice, he's going to hit you and do the fatigue.
- 25:33So you take two fatigue.
- 25:35He takes an additional fatigue.
- 25:36But after all the running and everything, he is looking kind of exhausted.
- 25:40I kind of am, too.
- 25:42When he does this, he gets to push you to a new position of his choice, unless you mark two fatigue.
- 25:49Well, then I'd be at zero fatigue.
- 25:51Okay, you're going to let him? Yeah.
- 25:53Okay.
- 25:54He just knocks you down.
- 25:55He just pushes you onto the ground, and he's like, give me the list.
- 26:01You're not very convincing.
- 26:04Maybe you would have said please or something, but you're just shoving me around.
- 26:09That's not very kind.
- 26:11All right, well, he looks at you, and he growls angrily, and he's going to continue this exchange.
- 26:18What would you like to do? So I choose one of those three again.
- 26:21Yeah, I'm going to evade and observe.
- 26:24Okay.
- 26:24Go ahead and roll for it.
- 26:26Well, evade or observe? It says I can clear a fatigue and roll with creativity.
- 26:31Okay, cool.
- 26:32So I'm going to roll with creativity, and that puts me at a nine nine.
- 26:37All right.
- 26:37Awesome.
- 26:38I guess you have one.
- 26:39Yes.
- 26:40I'm going to test balance.
- 26:43Okay.
- 26:44So mark one fatigue.
- 26:46The challenge and rage foe's balance.
- 26:48Asked what the principal is, they must answer honestly.
- 26:50If you already know the principal, instead of shift, instead shift their balance away from center by questioning or challenging their beliefs or perspective.
- 26:59Okay.
- 27:00All right.
- 27:00So once again, he is going to advance an attack, but this time he's going to pressure.
- 27:06He's going to intimidate his foe or actually tell me how it is that you test his balance.
- 27:12Like, what are you saying to him to try to figure out what it is that his balance is? Because, you'll know, it's loyalty.
- 27:18But what are you saying to him to kind of like, well, I didn't know it was loyalty.
- 27:21Right, right.
- 27:22So you were trying to test him and be like, what's your deal, man? Or something? Yeah.
- 27:28Why is it so important for you? It's just a list of ingredients.
- 27:35Because, unlike you, I actually work for Madame Yang.
- 27:41And what Madame Yang wants, Madame Yang gets.
- 27:46So give me that list so I can get her what she wants.
- 27:50Does she also beat you into submission because it doesn't really work that way.
- 27:55No.
- 27:56Madame Yang gives us the opportunity of a lifetime by allowing us to work in her fine establishment.
- 28:04She pays very well.
- 28:06There are benefit packages, combat and bending training.
- 28:10Which is why I know that I can take you out if you don't give me that list.
- 28:15Well, if you wanted to take me out, we can just go get the items on this list.
- 28:19What? No.
- 28:21Look, I don't trust you, so stop playing games.
- 28:25I know you're not with us.
- 28:26I literally said I wasn't.
- 28:27I was just trying to find a job.
- 28:29Yeah, hence why I don't trust you help a poor unfortunate soul.
- 28:33I don't owe you anything.
- 28:35I only owe Madame Yang something, and it's what's on that list.
- 28:56What are you talking about? I don't work for you.
- 29:04You were trying to take on a no pay mermaid, I think.
- 29:09Get you across the head, I guess.
- 29:11No, I'm oozy.
- 29:13I was trying to say madam Ying obviously showed him some sort of support when she hired him.
- 29:22He was down on his luck at some point, so I was hoping to relate with him on that level of like that's what I was trying to say, not what came out of my mouth.
- 29:35Here's what I would say.
- 29:36Okay, so you're trying to get at his, like, Madame Yang took you in, and she could take me in, so let's work together kind of a situation.
- 29:45Yeah.
- 29:45So you're kind of calling him out to live up to his principle of loyalty of you work with Madame Yang and I could work with Madame Yang, so I could follow you in your sort of principle of loyalty.
- 29:59Yeah.
- 30:00Okay, so you shift your balance away from center and then name and role with their principal, which in this case is loyalty.
- 30:09Okay, I got a six.
- 30:10A six, okay.
- 30:11So he calls her out for her survival, essentially.
- 30:15Principal.
- 30:17I see you want to survive.
- 30:18All right, so this is one that you would want to roll high on, year old low on.
- 30:23So he says to you, no, you're just some kind of scammer something.
- 30:30I don't know what you are, but you're not with us, so give me that list.
- 30:36Okay, since we're in combat, can I still use my water bending? Not on him.
- 30:47So, like, I can use my sweat and kind of muddle up the ink on the paper.
- 30:56Okay, all right, but you're going to get out to it? Yeah, I just want to make it less legible right now.
- 31:02Okay.
- 31:03Yeah.
- 31:04Okay.
- 31:04So he calls you out and he says, you better give me that paper, and then scram, and I better not see you back at the party either.
- 31:15And so you use your sweat and you subtly bend it underneath you to make a puddle of mud of some kind, and you slap that.
- 31:23Paper into the mud and then you hand it to him.
- 31:27How about I just slap into the mud and run away? Oh, okay, that works too.
- 31:30I mean, since he doesn't want me around anyway.
- 31:32No, that's fair.
- 31:34Yeah.
- 31:34Okay, so you slap it into the mud.
- 31:36Roll me a push your luck as you try to get out of there without him because he's already pretty upset, so if he sees you slapped that into the mud, he might try something.
- 31:47I got an eleven.
- 31:48Oh, wow.
- 31:49Okay, so, yeah, you very much just slap it in the mud and threw it on the ground.
- 31:55Can't buy me leaf juice, man.
- 32:00Okay.
- 32:00Yes.
- 32:00What other lucky opportunity falls into my lap? There's a small parade of people celebrating the art of pebble juggling that are walking by, juggling pebbles and small rocks in the air.
- 32:18Very excitedly.
- 32:19There's some music as they come through, and you run, like when you slap it in there, and then you jump out of the way just as they're walking through.
- 32:27And so they cut off the possibility of him being able to chase after you without going around the whole parade at this point.
- 32:35So he picks up the thing in the mud, he looks at it, and then here's kind of a bonus opportunity, too.
- 32:41It is a mess.
- 32:42There's no way you could read that.
- 32:44And it's already soaked into the paper.
- 32:48It's completely illegible at this point.
- 32:50All right, perfect.
- 32:52So I'm going to cut over to our two boys over at the Blissful Brew stand back at the party.
- 33:02All right, so you guys are setting up.
- 33:04You noticed that it's getting a little bit towards the time that the party is going to start.
- 33:09So you start noticing as guests are kind of filing in on carriages, maybe on foot.
- 33:16A couple of them, not too many.
- 33:17Some of them are on those rickshaw.
- 33:19Yeah, they got some rickshaws.
- 33:21There's some people coming in on rickshaws with those, like nice little they have roofed because obviously these are all pretty wealthy people for the most part.
- 33:30And so as everybody's filing in, you guys are finishing up, putting those finishing touches.
- 33:34Mr.
- 33:35Ocaron is nimbly and expertly going through the ingredients, chopping things up, putting them into like a mortar pestile situation and grinding things up, putting it all together inside of the big old barrel.
- 33:49I guess it'd be a metal pot more that he's got a little fire going.
- 33:53He's getting the tea starting to boil and stuff like that, and he's just really getting everything ready.
- 33:59You guys are getting everything ready.
- 34:00Everything's looking really good, honestly, for you guys.
- 34:02You guys are doing a great job.
- 34:03And then as everybody seems as the increase of guests is starting to kind of like weighing out the guy from earlier that you had talked to who told you where you guys could set up and everything, that kind of like manager of the servants if you will, comes approaching you.
- 34:21And he says, if you would, if you could come with me.
- 34:26We are having the opening ceremony, and the Utopo family requests that all individuals that are involved in any way be present during this opening ceremony.
- 34:37He has a few words he'd like to say, and thanks to everyone that has made this party possible.
- 34:43Before we kick things off, do we have to? Well, I know some vendors.
- 34:50If you want one person to stay behind, that's fine, at the very least, Mr.
- 34:54O'quran.
- 34:54But it would be nice to have an employee present or something.
- 34:58I look over to build.
- 35:01Am I thinking I don't want to get stuck with all the work here.
- 35:05Sure I'll go if I get it.
- 35:07Okay.
- 35:10I'm fine staying.
- 35:10Yes.
- 35:11Someone's got to watch this place.
- 35:12I'm sure Mr.
- 35:12Ocaron wants to go.
- 35:14Yeah, I'll stay and defend this thing.
- 35:16All right.
- 35:16Because he leans over to golan.
- 35:20He's like, I don't want them to do to this place what we're doing to them right now.
- 35:24Oh, good.
- 35:25Looking at.
- 35:27All right.
- 35:27And then as they walk away, as they get their stuff and walk away, bill door ready.
- 35:34He gets his Bow staff, and he kind of puts it at his feet under the table.
- 35:40Ready.
- 35:41Okay.
- 35:41If you want to grab it.
- 35:42Well, since you explicitly said that, I'm going to have you mark that you are ready, which is a condition.
- 35:50He's putting it on his foot so that if he needs he'll flick it up with his foot straight into his hand.
- 35:56So he's just ready automatically.
- 35:58Okay, perfect.
- 35:59So basically, I'm not going to make you mark a fatigue for it because you're not really doing anything.
- 36:06Yeah.
- 36:06It's outside of combat.
- 36:07But what I am going to say is that you will get a plus one at any point to assess a situation.
- 36:14Okay.
- 36:15Given the T area that you're just kind of the immediate area surrounding the Blissful booth, is there any difference what would be, like, the differences between our setup and, like, the hot leaf juice? Sure, I guess.
- 36:32I'm like Picturing.
- 36:34Theirs is more of like a Starbucks very professional, and ours is more of like a home feeling.
- 36:42Yes.
- 36:43No, you are 100% correct.
- 36:45So he brought everything in on a hand cart, which is kind of sitting behind you guys.
- 36:49It's just got a couple of barrels and crates inside of it, just with a couple of residual ingredients or something along those lines.
- 36:57And that's just kind of sitting maybe a few feet away from your little stand set up, which is sort of like just maybe three kind of tables with a cheap tablecloth kind of thrown over them.
- 37:08It's got cups that aren't necessarily marked with the versatile blue logo.
- 37:12They're just kind of generic plain cups.
- 37:14Like I said, there's the large.
- 37:17So he's boiling the water off onto the side on a little like Campfire almost, and he has a large barrel with a spigot in it, and that's what he's going to pour it into once it's steeped and everything like that, and it's ready to go.
- 37:31So then he puts it in that and then he drips it into it.
- 37:34He has chopped fruit that's kind of laid out really nicely because some of it goes into the tea directly, and then some of it actually just kind of decorates the cup.
- 37:44So they take a slice of this fancy looking it's called a cherry mango, and he kind of sets that on the cusp of the cup to kind of decorate it and things like that.
- 37:54So that'd be the major difference.
- 37:57But as you go inside, which is where they're leading you for the opening ceremony, you can kind of see.
- 38:03So you walk in and it's just the very ornate entry room with the two giant staircases kind of curving around, very like Cinderella esque, almost very just decorative.
- 38:18Obviously, everything is there that's themed for the party and everything like that.
- 38:21There are a lot of bright colors, very summer feel, and there's a reason for that, which I'll get to here in a moment, and you can kind of see off to the right, which is big.
- 38:30It's not like a doorway, it's just a big opening into the next room.
- 38:33That's where the ballroom is.
- 38:35And you can kind of see out of the corner of your eye the hot leaf juice set up, which, like you had said, it's a very much more fancy, ornate.
- 38:44These aren't just like card tables that are kind of like casually made.
- 38:49These are like fancy display booths.
- 38:52They have, like, roofing over the booth that kind of decorates it and things like that.
- 38:56It has like an awning.
- 38:58All their cups are all marked with the hot leaf juice logo, all this fancy stuff.
- 39:02They are very like ornate serving jugs.
- 39:04So they're not even serving it out of a barrel and a spigot.
- 39:07They'd like, fill the jugs themselves, and then from the jugs, they'd pour that into the cups.
- 39:11So, yeah, it's just a lot of, like you said, very decorative, comparatively.
- 39:16As you step inside with Mr.
- 39:18Okran, who seems very excited.
- 39:19Oh, don't worry.
- 39:20Well, this is very normal.
- 39:23Yotaku family definitely always likes to make a big thank you out of everything that they do for these parties and stuff like that.
- 39:32So they're very good people, minus, obviously, the strange contract incident.
- 39:41I guess that happened involving our original contract, but I think that was more of the Shifu family.
- 39:47I think it's less to do with the Yotaku yes, Yotaku family.
- 39:54And more to do with the Shifu family, I hope.
- 39:57But anyway, this is a very powerful and wealthy family, so it'll be very nice to be recognized.
- 40:05Yeah, for sure.
- 40:08Looks like they pay pretty good.
- 40:10Oh, absolutely.
- 40:11Yes.
- 40:12They have money to throw away.
- 40:15And so as you guys are gathering and all the guests have gathered and stuff like that.
- 40:19It seems like most of the staff is kind of pushing for the caterers to kind of stand on the sides of the room whereas the guests are all kind of in the center of the room.
- 40:28And very kind of hefty built kind of a chunky guy in a very nice robe.
- 40:36He comes stepping up.
- 40:37It's in again, a bright color, kind of a red, maybe towards purple.
- 40:41So kind of close to a magenta color.
- 40:43He comes stepping up onto the stage and he says welcome, one and all, to the annual summer bash where we take time to celebrate and welcome in the warmer season as it graces us with its natural beauty.
- 40:59To kick things off today, I want to take a moment to thank all of those who have made these festivities possible by calling onto the stage all of the vendors and caterers who have taken the time to come here and grace us with their time and talent.
- 41:16And so, sure enough, he has everybody, like, file up.
- 41:19It's mostly either just the owners or the chef or whatever from each caterer and then they might have an employee with them.
- 41:28So in your case, Mr.
- 41:30Okran, he looks over you.
- 41:31He's like, do you want to come up on stage with me? Yeah.
- 41:36Solid.
- 41:36Perfect.
- 41:37Wonderful.
- 41:38So, of course, you guys follow up.
- 41:42Mr.
- 41:42Yotaku kind of announces everybody as they go through the line.
- 41:46With us today we have Michaels Meatballs.
- 41:51Shake hands.
- 41:52Kind of that like classic where you shake hands and then Michael, like, sort of waves like he's shaking hands with the present.
- 41:57That kind of like overused picture kind of situation.
- 42:02Sally's soy snacks, Carlos cookies, so on and so forth, until finally he gets to the tea and he says and for our delightful summer themed beverages, we have all the way from Bar Sing say, madame Yang's Hot Leaf Juice Company.
- 42:22She, like, stands up.
- 42:24She has changed into something a bit more ornate.
- 42:27Again, more towards the color scheme.
- 42:29Before, she was wearing, I believe it's kind of more of a brown and green theme, sort of a traditional, like, earthbender color, having come just from Bossing SEI.
- 42:37And now she's changed into a very much more fitting to this party with the summer theme.
- 42:41So brighter colors, reds, maybe some greens, but more like lighter greens, things along those lines.
- 42:47Yellows for sure.
- 42:48And she shakes hands, she smiles.
- 42:50And then all of a sudden, next to him this whole time has been the head of the Shifu household and he's just standing there in his suit.
- 42:58And then he sort of leans forward to the Utaku family head and he starts whispering and you can kind of hear what? What do you mean? There's another one? Blissful blue.
- 43:14But they weren't supposed to be here.
- 43:17What was the meat, sir? I don't understand.
- 43:21But this party needs to keep going.
- 43:23So just keep this on the download.
- 43:25We'll play along.
- 43:27And I'm told that in addition to their wonderful tea, we have a local, much more quaint tea shop.
- 43:35Some of you may recognize Mr.
- 43:37Ocaron's blissful brutish.
- 43:42And he comes up, he's like you hear a little bit of cloud.
- 43:45Everybody's kind of just doing like a courtesy clap for each person that's gone through.
- 43:48I just really care that much, but it's the right thing to do.
- 43:52And so he steps up and he shakes hands with it, and he waves at everybody.
- 43:55And then he gestures to you.
- 43:57Feel free to come on over and shake hands with Yu Taku ahead of household.
- 44:02Yeah, I walk over and I shake his hand, and I kind of raise my fist in, like, a gesture.
- 44:13People kind of dig the energy.
- 44:15They're like, okay, the plot kind of grows just a little bit, a little bit louder.
- 44:19Awesome.
- 44:19And then you guys go back to and then he's like, once again, thank you to everyone that we were able to get on all roster to be here and to serve all of you fine guests.
- 44:33Now, onto the festivities.
- 44:37As many of you know, I am an avid mask collector.
- 44:41Spirit masks, first of all.
- 44:43Masks, masquerade masks, I'm truly smitten with the things.
- 44:50So as a special event tonight and as specified on your invitations, you've all brought a secondary outfit to this party.
- 45:01Those outfits have been taken to rooms throughout my mansion.
- 45:05Once again, as specified on your personalized invitations.
- 45:10Now, please head to the room where you will find your secondary outfit and change into it.
- 45:17You will also find in that room a variety of masks that you can choose from from my personal collection.
- 45:26Take yourself a mask and put it on.
- 45:29The game will play like this.
- 45:31Each person will now be disguised so that no one knows who they are, as they will have on a new outfit and a masked face.
- 45:42It is your duty, through clever clues, vocal recognition, and even the potential slip up from others to determine those behind their masks.
- 45:54If someone calls you out, you must remove your mask and you are out of the game.
- 46:00But not out of the party, of course.
- 46:02Feel free to enjoy yourself and socialize with those around you.
- 46:07For those still in the game, though, the participants will whittle down gradually throughout the night until only one masked member remains.
- 46:18That individual be pronounced the winner and take home a nice bag of 250 yuan.
- 46:25A small prize, I understand, but this is meant to be fun, and I didn't want to spoil that with actual riches.
- 46:34Now get up there and get to guessing.
- 46:37Man.
- 46:38The summer festival begins.
- 46:41The party starts to head out, and you and Mr.
- 46:43Ocaron rushed back over to the booth.
- 46:46In the meantime, while you guys were doing that, bill, I'm going to have you make that assess the situation.
- 46:52Role 1111 wow.
- 46:54Okay, awesome.
- 46:55So you can ask two questions and you also get a plus one.
- 47:00I have a minus one and I added one.
- 47:02So I'm worried that what we're currently doing, the hot leaf juice.
- 47:08Hotleaf juice may do to us.
- 47:10Right.
- 47:11So what's the biggest threat to RT? Sure.
- 47:15So, yeah, the ingredients that you guys have for backup.
- 47:18Obviously the extra ingredients because it's going to be a long night.
- 47:21There's a good chance that we're going to probably need those ingredients just because they're not in the tea right now.
- 47:26Plus, you know that knowing that Brock, or at least knowing Brock was attempting to sabotage their ingredients, if they run out, you guys are going to be the ones that will have to step up and supply the rest of the tea for the night.
- 47:37That was the idea.
- 47:38Exactly.
- 47:40Alternatively, I would say obviously your dishes.
- 47:43That's a big hazard.
- 47:44If anything happened to all your dishes and you weren't able to serve tea in something, that would be a problem.
- 47:49You would assume that hot leaf juice would be the greatest threat.
- 47:52For sure.
- 47:53Do I not see any hot leaf juice hanging around? Hanging around.
- 47:56Well, I wasn't sure what your second question was.
- 48:00The last one was, what year can I use to okay.
- 48:04That's what I wanted to fill in the blank.
- 48:05I wanted to what can I use to help protect the team okay.
- 48:11Or to ward off? Sure.
- 48:14You do have your bostaff, which is obviously that was good prep right there.
- 48:18Moving the hand cart in such a way that would allow you closer observation of it.
- 48:25Also not behind me.
- 48:27Just beside me.
- 48:28Either beside you or even closer behind because it's like I said, a couple of feet away or a few feet away.
- 48:33Am I near the edge or am I in a complete open? You are pretty open.
- 48:38You're not too far away from the gazebo that has the pond around it.
- 48:43Okay.
- 48:43There are some hedges around you that like alongside the path, there's like a section you're off the path because I'm imagine we're facing into the party.
- 48:53So I'm imagining to my right would be like the edge of the party, like the wall or the hedge maze or whatever.
- 48:58So I want to push the hand cart and I want to slide that.
- 49:00So it's between me so the order would go hedge maze, cart, me, table.
- 49:08Okay.
- 49:08So basically it's right beside me and the only thing that's closest is like between me and the hedge maze.
- 49:13Okay.
- 49:16The hedge maze in here, the bushes.
- 49:18Okay.
- 49:19So yeah, you do that.
- 49:21As you're moving this, you notice there's an individual, he's dressed in the hot leaf juice garb, which is like that bright pink with their logo on it, aprons.
- 49:31And there's like a light emanating from his hand and he was kind of walking semi nearby, kind of like between your booth and the gassebo and he was looking at you, and then you move stuff, and then he kind of looked away and kind of just was, like, casually walking away, and he just kind of, like, whistling a little bit as he goes.
- 49:53Does that light in his hand look familiar? Yeah.
- 49:56Okay.
- 49:57I mean, you kind of get a feel that he might you don't hold, like, a candle in your hand necessarily.
- 50:04You would have to hold it in Scottsd, but the way that he was holding like this, you wonder if maybe he might be a firebender.
- 50:09Yeah.
- 50:10Okay.
- 50:10Got it.
- 50:12Like I said, he doesn't look like he's necessarily making move, or rather, whatever you did kind of threw off what his plan was.
- 50:18And so now you know that he's there, but he seems to be distance enough that he's not doing anything at the moment.
- 50:24Obviously, Bill is just going to stand there.
- 50:27Okay.
- 50:27And he's just going to stare at that guy.
- 50:29Okay.
- 50:29All right.
- 50:30You stare at him.
- 50:31Is there something for, like I'm trying to think if there's something for intimidation.
- 50:34Oh, there is.
- 50:35There's an intimidate.
- 50:36Yeah, do an intimidation.
- 50:38That's a seven.
- 50:40Okay, so you made a hit.
- 50:41He chooses one.
- 50:42He chooses to back down, but keep watch.
- 50:46So what he does is he goes over to the gazebo.
- 50:49He goes into the gazebo, and he turns with his back towards you.
- 50:54So he's looking out into the further yard to be the east side of the mansion.
- 51:01He's just kind of looking out there.
- 51:02But you do notice that every once in a while, he kind of glances backwards.
- 51:07He glances forward again.
- 51:09He glances backwards every once in a while, but he's definitely pretty far distance from you.
- 51:14And by the time that all this has gone down, the whole opening ceremony has ended, and now Guo and Okra are headed back over to you.
- 51:21So you've definitely kept a threat away for the time being.
- 51:24Bill just gets back to he's just kind of finishing setting up stuff at the party.
- 51:29Well, he sees the guy back away, watching him while setting stuff up still.
- 51:34Okay, sounds good.
- 51:35The whole time keeping the bow stuff on his foot.
- 51:37Okay, perfect.
- 51:38All right, so Glow, you're back.
- 51:40You and Mr.
- 51:40Oakley managed to get back people from the party.
- 51:43There's some obviously staying inside, but there's a lot of them starting to flood outside, and pretty decent handful of them are heading over towards the Blissful brew booth.
- 51:51You guys are open for business.
- 51:54Business in the sense that you're not selling tea to people right now.
- 51:58You already got paid, and you'll get paid more.
- 52:01Nice.
- 52:01But anyway, I assume you guys are just going to start slinging cups of tea.
- 52:08Yes.
- 52:09I go over to Bill, and I'm like, you know, that was a lot actually more fun than I was expecting.
- 52:15Everybody was looking at us up there.
- 52:17It's kind of neat.
- 52:19It seemed to be excited for us to be around.
- 52:23Although it looked like the head of the whoever from the yotaco to Yotaku taco taco.
- 52:34The taco guy, he wasn't too happy that we were here, but they didn't kick us out, so I guess we're good to get going here.
- 52:43That's right.
- 52:46All right, now, where's the honey at? We got to make sure our tea is not too big.
- 52:53Some people got different tastes here at the party.
- 52:56And Mr.
- 52:57Ocron goes? Oh, yes, of course.
- 52:58And he rushes over to the hand cart, and he grabs out a big old jar of honey, and he runs it back over, and he's got, like, a little bowl.
- 53:06And so he starts kind of scooping it into the bowl, and he's got one of those I don't know what they're called, but you use them to get the honey, and then you drill through the lines.
- 53:16He's got one of those things.
- 53:17It's just inside, so somebody can just the Honey Nut Cheerio wand.
- 53:20Yes, the Honey Nut Cheerio wand.
- 53:23It's delicious.
- 53:25It's got one of those that he puts into the honey dish so that people can kind of self serve themselves some honey.
- 53:31Or he could do it, too.
- 53:32Whatever the case, whoever's kind of like handing the cup off to the customer, I guess.
- 53:39Some people start coming over and they're drinking your tea, and they're tasting it, and it's good.
- 53:43It's good.
- 53:44They seem to be very happy.
- 53:45They're very positive about it.
- 53:47They'll take their tea off in a different direction to go hang out by the gazebo or maybe take it around the house.
- 53:54They're chatting with each other, just having a good time.
- 53:57It's a very chill party.
- 53:58It's not a rave.
- 53:59It's not any kind of like a wild party of any kind.
- 54:04It's a very dainty just to imagine a rich garden party atmosphere.
- 54:12Exactly.
- 54:13What's, like, the weather? Like, yeah.
- 54:15So it's really mild.
- 54:17It's starting to cool down a bit, for sure.
- 54:19As it gets a little bit darker and the sun is starting to set.
- 54:22The temperature is definitely not extremely dropping by any means, but it's starting to get into maybe the 60s, maybe mid 60s.
- 54:31Okay.
- 54:32So it's getting nice and cool, which actually obviously starts bringing in more customers.
- 54:37They want warm tea.
- 54:39Mr.
- 54:39O'Rourke continues to stoke the fire so that his next batch of tea can really steep for a good amount of time before he pours it into the barrel, which he then serves from or you guys serve it, I guess.
- 54:53All right, we'll cut back over to Mika really quick.
- 55:01So now that you've escaped and you've kind of sabotaged half of their ingredients list, where were you planning on getting? Well, I would head back either to the party or back to Blissful Group.
- 55:16Okay.
- 55:17Because if I go back to the party, then I run the chance of meeting the guy again.
- 55:23Sure.
- 55:23So I feel like if I'm leaning more towards survival, then I probably would just hide out in the Blissful Brewing Towel, but then I also want to communicate to my teammates that I'm exposed.
- 55:35Okay, so I guess I'll hang on the outskirts of the party to see if I can try to talk to them without being seen.
- 55:43Sure, yeah, you can try to find your way through the edge.
- 55:49Maybe I'll find broccoli.
- 55:50There you go.
- 55:53Okay, so, yeah, you kind of take the long way around town and then make sure that he doesn't catch back up to you, the guy that you kind of had an exchange with earlier.
- 56:02And you finally make your way to the outskirts of the party, and you see the Blissful Brew crew, and yeah, you can head over to them.
- 56:11They do look like they're serving some customers.
- 56:13It's not, like, wildly busy.
- 56:14They're not, like, rushing to get everything done.
- 56:16But there's a handful of customers, and they're, like, happily pouring.
- 56:19And you can see smile on both the Bill and GLOW's face and Mr.
- 56:23Ocaron's faces.
- 56:24People seem to be chatting with them a little bit, like, oh, someone sips it and goes, oh.
- 56:28You see them, like, their face perks up, and they're like, oh, this is very good.
- 56:31And Mr.
- 56:32Brown is like, oh, you're so caught some of that kind of stuff.
- 56:34You can just see that in the faces.
- 56:38Okay, I guess I'm going to nonchalantly, whatever, walk over to who's Ever closer.
- 56:48Not preferably not Mr.
- 56:50Ocaran because he doesn't know our plan.
- 56:53Mr.
- 56:54Ocaron is pouring the tea, so one of you would need to keep making sure that the fire is being stoked, and then the other one is maybe asking customers what they want in there, like, if they want honey or something, and then handing it off to him.
- 57:10So he's pouring it, hands it to you, one of you guys.
- 57:12Which one? I'd be the one serving customers, because that's already what I do.
- 57:17Yeah, perfect.
- 57:17So, Global, you're over there kind of stoking the fire, making sure mixing the teas during that and everything like that.
- 57:23So I assume you might go over to him.
- 57:25Yeah.
- 57:25Okay, perfect.
- 57:26All right.
- 57:27Hey, Glow.
- 57:28Hey, bro.
- 57:30Hey, you're back.
- 57:33Yes.
- 57:33Mike covers will have been blown just a little bit, tiny bit.
- 57:38A lot of it like your apron ripped or something.
- 57:42I noticed you're not wearing it.
- 57:49No, I never put it back on.
- 57:52If she was wearing it, I think the guy who beat her up would definitely know that she was lying about who she was working with.
- 58:02Madame Yang would not have sent me to go get the ingredients.
- 58:07Just ignore my Blissful Brew apron.
- 58:09I just found this on the ground.
- 58:12No, but what happened? Well, I was posing as a hot Leaf Juice employee.
- 58:20Well, they know that I'm not, and they know that I'm trying to sabotage them.
- 58:25Oh, no.
- 58:26Yeah, that's what I meant by my covers.
- 58:29Been blown, not my apron is torn.
- 58:32I see.
- 58:33What were you guys able to do so far? I don't know.
- 58:38Broccoli went to go help unload their ingredients and not all of them came back inside, so I'm assuming he did something with that.
- 58:47I accidentally tripped on a banana peel and broke some of their cups.
- 58:58The old man appeals, so they had to deal with that and a water mishap that there's water all over the ground, so I had to go into town and get some more ingredients and that's when I was discovered.
- 59:12I ruined half of the list, though.
- 59:16Well, it sounds like you did cause some ruckus.
- 59:20Maybe they'll be behind on their orders or stuff since they're distracted with all that.
- 59:25Yeah, so I'm not going to really help with the tea.
- 59:32I don't want them to find me and then know that then have it come back on Mr.
- 59:37Ocaron.
- 59:39Got you.
- 59:40Sounds like you might have trouble getting close to them anymore.
- 59:44Maybe there's something you can do to mess with them from a distance.
- 59:48Like I don't know if there's any animals around here could trip their waiters or something.
- 1:00:00I'm sure you'll think of something.
- 1:00:02Okay.
- 1:00:04But don't get caught.
- 1:00:06Well, I feel like a lot of people are going to be looking for me, so I'll try not to be careful out there.
- 1:00:14Okay.
- 1:00:14I might go hide in the mace.
- 1:00:18Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
- 1:00:21Okay.
- 1:00:22I'm going to go find Broccoli and maybe he can if you get into trouble, you can signal us somehow.
- 1:00:30Okay.
- 1:00:30I'll yelp for help.
- 1:00:32Yelp for help.
- 1:00:33The old yelp for help.
- 1:00:34As she turns around to leave, Bill door, turns around to go get more honey out of the cart.
- 1:00:40And he sees Mika goes, oh, Mika losing her apron.
- 1:00:43I see.
- 1:00:45Grabs his honey and he turns around and goes back to serving people.
- 1:00:49Mr.
- 1:00:49Ogre is pretty focused on the customer, so he doesn't notice anything necessarily.
- 1:00:55All right, sounds good.
- 1:00:57So are you heading inside then to go because you know that Broccoli is inside? I do know he's inside, yeah, because he's still helping with the set up.
- 1:01:06You saw him before you left.
- 1:01:07He hasn't blown the cover like someone else? I did.
- 1:01:13Okay, then.
- 1:01:14Yeah, I guess I'll go inside, but I'm going to kind of like hang out by the walls and corners and stuff.
- 1:01:19Okay.
- 1:01:20Actually I'm going to go to the bathroom because I'm sure I'm kind of covered in mud, so I'm just going to clean myself up.
- 1:01:27Okay, so you head into the bathroom oh, look, my apron.
- 1:01:33And you get cleaned up a bit and stuff like that.
- 1:01:36You managed to get most of the mud off for the most part, especially because you're a waterbender, so you're able to do some kind of interesting techniques where you put the water into the cloth and then you use it to like.
- 1:01:45You bend it in such a way that it kind of pulls the dirt out with it, and then it's also dry afterwards.
- 1:01:51Washing machine or dryer.
- 1:01:52Exactly.
- 1:01:53Not you.
- 1:01:55And so, yeah, sure, you're able to clean up really well, actually, to be honest with you.
- 1:01:59And as you step out and you kind of walk into the party, you can see from a distance the two individuals that you had gone to go get ingredients with seem to be talking to Madame Yang, who's over at the hot loop booth, and they're chatting and stuff, and she just looks like she's getting infuriated.
- 1:02:23As you're looking around, I mean, there's a lot of people in here.
- 1:02:27So you're not too worried about them spotting you, at least not at the moment.
- 1:02:31But you know that now that they've passed on the information and they know what you look like, they might be on the lookout for you.
- 1:02:38Okay, I'm going to go back outside then.
- 1:02:41I don't want to hang out inside enclosed quarters, per se.
- 1:02:46Okay.
- 1:02:47As you're walking outside, you overhear a conversation of a couple of the people.
- 1:02:51You don't know who it is that they are because you've been gone.
- 1:02:55Yeah.
- 1:02:55So you don't really know who is involved in this party, but one of them is saying he seems to be the owner of the house by based on what he's saying.
- 1:03:02I must say, Mr.
- 1:03:03Yotaku, this party you've thrown is quite lavish this year, and this mystery mass game seems to be quite the hit.
- 1:03:13Well, thank you, my friend.
- 1:03:15Yes, it was a clever notion I came up with all by myself.
- 1:03:19I figured it would be a good social deduction game to play, keep things lively in the party.
- 1:03:28I simply hope no one attempts to cheat at my game, though.
- 1:03:33Oh, well, how would you figure someone might do that? I don't rightfully know.
- 1:03:40I'm not a dishonest person myself, after all.
- 1:03:44You know, I wear my heart on my sleeve.
- 1:03:47I don't hide behind some mask outside of for this party.
- 1:03:56But I must show you my other mask collection, especially my finest mask, which features alleged spirit gems.
- 1:04:06Aligning it.
- 1:04:08Yes, you must show me.
- 1:04:11And with that, they head out, leaving you with a solution to help you lay low during this party.
- 1:04:17There's a table set up and a whole bunch of sort of spirit masks, all portraying kind of a different type of animals.
- 1:04:27There might be one that kind of, like, suggest, maybe kind of a panda esque creature or one of them that has, like, a very birdsque feel with some feathers coming out of it.
- 1:04:36They're pretty standard masks.
- 1:04:38They've all got, like, the little strings on the back so that you can attach them over your head.
- 1:04:43Well, obviously they steal one.
- 1:04:47Not really stealing if they're handing them out.
- 1:04:49Okay, so I'm going to do that.
- 1:04:50And then I also feel like since they know what I look like my mask isn't going to be enough to disguise because obviously my water bender outfit is going to be a gray water bender outfit.
- 1:05:03Yeah.
- 1:05:04Either way, I'm going to kind of stick out if you like.
- 1:05:07So I am going to go into some of the rooms of the house looking for a different piece of clothing.
- 1:05:15Okay.
- 1:05:16Yeah.
- 1:05:16And as you go off to go look for that, I think we will close out the episode for today and come back next time.
