- 0:02Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
- 0:05Speaker 1: hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
- 0:09Speaker 1: Amy Torber and coming up on today's show, Tammy Hembrough's
- 0:13Speaker 1: sisters have labeled her fiance, Matt Zukowski, as an immature baby.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Lucy Jackson has spilled the tea on her breakups And
- 0:21Speaker 1: Sky Wheatley reveals dramatic fox eye results. But first, Katy
- 0:25Speaker 1: Perry's grand final performance is going viral on TikTok and
- 0:28Speaker 1: it has even made headlines in the US after a
- 0:31Speaker 1: dancer suffered a costume mishap. I love this story so much.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It's the story that keeps on giving because this mishap
- 0:38Speaker 1: happened when Katy was singing Teenage Dream and her set
- 0:41Speaker 1: had this really futuristic sort of space age vibe to it.
- 0:45Speaker 1: But then at the same time, it was very early
- 0:48Speaker 1: 2000s and She wore speed dealer sunnies and had this
- 0:51Speaker 1: blue gladiator-esque breastplate on with white shorts and these deconstructed
- 0:57Speaker 1: combat pants. What did you think of the outfit? I
- 0:59Speaker 1: thought she looked amazing. And she was also looking very
- 1:02Speaker 1: bronze because she ended up getting a fake tan by
- 1:05Speaker 1: Bec Judd and Nadia Bartel's business, which is Spray Oz. Yeah,
- 1:08Speaker 1: I saw the TikTok of the woman who actually performed
- 1:11Speaker 1: the spray tan on Katy Perry and it just made
- 1:13Speaker 1: me think how odd it must be for celebrities. to
- 1:15Speaker 1: have spray tans done because you just know everyone would
- 1:18Speaker 1: be talking about it. Or they'd be taking everything in
- 1:20Speaker 1: and analysing you. Now getting into this mishap, so it
- 1:24Speaker 1: happened with one of her backup dancers and they were
- 1:26Speaker 1: dressed in these metallic space suits and they were holding
- 1:30Speaker 1: oversized foil balloons. So they were using them as props
- 1:33Speaker 1: to dance with. And things didn't go exactly to plan
- 1:37Speaker 1: for one dancer whose balloon popped mid-performance and instantly deflated.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So this stood out so much in the sea of
- 1:45Speaker 1: over 150 dancers. And to the dancers' credit, they carried
- 1:49Speaker 1: on trying their best to dance with this deflated balloon
- 1:51Speaker 1: and not detract from the performance. That would be the
- 1:54Speaker 1: worst thing ever because every time there's a huge event
- 1:56Speaker 1: on like the AFL Grand Final, you just know there
- 1:59Speaker 1: are the armchair spectators at home waiting for something like
- 2:03Speaker 1: this to happen. And it didn't take long for this
- 2:04Speaker 1: clip to go viral. And the consensus online was that
- 2:08Speaker 1: the deflated balloon looked like a goon sack. So it
- 2:10Speaker 1: was a very patriotic moment for Aussies. And someone on
- 2:14Speaker 1: TikTok had an absolute banger comment. They said, do you
- 2:16Speaker 1: ever feel like a plastic bag drifting through the wind
- 2:20Speaker 1: wanting to start again? Of course, in reference to her
- 2:22Speaker 1: song Firework. Well, it's not the first time that one
- 2:25Speaker 1: of Katie's dancers has distracted the crowd from her performance
- 2:28Speaker 1: because during Katie's Super Bowl halftime show in 2015, there
- 2:32Speaker 1: was a guy dressed as a shark and he didn't
- 2:35Speaker 1: know any of the dance moves properly. He was so
- 2:37Speaker 1: distracting and US Weekly have compared the balloon incident to this.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Now the talk of the town has been Katy Perry's
- 2:44Speaker 1: pay packet because it was $ 5 million. Do you think
- 2:46Speaker 1: seven songs is worth $ 5 million? Well, initially everyone was
- 2:49Speaker 1: saying she was only going to perform five songs. So
- 2:52Speaker 1: everyone was like, gee, a million dollars per song. That's
- 2:55Speaker 1: a huge amount of money. And when I first heard it,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I also thought, wow, that is a lot. But it's
- 3:01Speaker 1: also being reported that the AFL was originally after the
- 3:04Speaker 1: Rolling Stones and reportedly they wanted $ 20 million to sing
- 3:09Speaker 1: four songs. That's ridiculous. So $ 5 million in the scheme
- 3:12Speaker 1: of things doesn't sound that bad. And I think she
- 3:14Speaker 1: deserved it because it's not just for the one performance.
- 3:16Speaker 1: There would have been a lot of effort going into
- 3:19Speaker 1: the preparation. Also the fact that she's built herself up
- 3:22Speaker 1: to be this glorious. Yeah, isn't it a simple sensation?
- 3:24Speaker 1: It's not really the preparation. It's more the 20 plus years.
- 3:27Speaker 1: How long has Katy Perry been around for? probably about 15,
- 3:30Speaker 1: but also for her to come out and have that
- 3:33Speaker 1: much impact, like everyone is saying that this is the
- 3:36Speaker 1: best performance they've seen at an AFL grand final. I mean,
- 3:40Speaker 1: Batuta Advocate sums it up pretty well. They said credit
- 3:43Speaker 1: to the head honchos at the AFL. That was fucking awesome.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Katy Perry has today vindicated the decision to pay her
- 3:49Speaker 1: fat stacks to come and perform at the AFL grand final.
- 3:52Speaker 1: All I could think was how much would Taylor Swift
- 3:55Speaker 1: have charged? Yeah, that's a good question. I have absolutely
- 3:58Speaker 1: no idea. I also think though it is really good
- 4:00Speaker 1: publicity for Katie's show because she's obviously coming to Australia.
- 4:04Speaker 1: After seeing her perform at the AFL Grand Final, I
- 4:06Speaker 1: was like, I want a ticket to this. I have
- 4:08Speaker 1: been playing her songs nonstop in my car. What did
- 4:10Speaker 1: you think of Tina Arena popping up during I Kissed
- 4:13Speaker 1: A Girl? It was a bit of a letdown for me,
- 4:15Speaker 1: probably because she's not really in my age demo. I
- 4:17Speaker 1: was thinking maybe a Kylie Minogue. That being said, a
- 4:20Speaker 1: lot of publications are saying that Tina Arena outshone Katy Perry. Oh, vocally?
- 4:26Speaker 1: I mean, she was amazing in Chainsmokers. I just thought
- 4:29Speaker 1: they were going to kiss at one point during the song. Well,
- 4:31Speaker 1: that's what they were sort of alluding to. At one point,
- 4:34Speaker 1: because I saw it on TikTok, the clip popped up
- 4:37Speaker 1: and they almost looked like Jess and Lisa from the
- 4:40Speaker 1: Veronica's when they were back to back. You said that.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I didn't see that at all. Now, they would have
- 4:43Speaker 1: been a great inclusion. My partner and I said, what
- 4:46Speaker 1: about Delta? I think Delta would have been amazing.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So you guys hate me.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Tammy Hembrough's sisters have made it clear. They don't approve
- 4:55Speaker 1: of her fiance, Matt Sikowski, just weeks out from their
- 4:58Speaker 1: Byron Bay wedding. Appearing on Matt's podcast, Emily and Amy
- 5:02Speaker 1: Hembrough labeled the reality star an immature baby and admitted
- 5:06Speaker 1: they had massive concerns about the relationship. episode was an
- 5:11Speaker 1: absolute bloodbath and I must admit I loved every second
- 5:14Speaker 1: of it I still don't know how this episode was
- 5:16Speaker 1: allowed to air it began by Anna asking Amy and
- 5:21Speaker 1: Emily what they first thought of Matt and she did
- 5:23Speaker 1: preface that they could be honest and they were they
- 5:26Speaker 1: were very honest it's clear that they weren't interested in
- 5:29Speaker 1: giving some sort of PR response and they went into
- 5:32Speaker 1: what they really thought of him but it's kind of
- 5:34Speaker 1: on brand for the Hembrough sisters to do that Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 1: After listening to this, I just thought, why did they
- 5:40Speaker 1: never bring out the reality show? Because I would have
- 5:42Speaker 1: loved to see all of this playing out in real time. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Emily said she had massive concerns about Matt right off
- 5:48Speaker 1: the bat and that she didn't want to meet him
- 5:50Speaker 1: and said it was too fresh. Now, that comment was
- 5:53Speaker 1: in reference to the fact that Tammy had only called
- 5:56Speaker 1: off her engagement to a former Ironman fiance, Matt Paul.
- 6:00Speaker 1: less than a year before meeting Matt 2.0. Yeah, you
- 6:04Speaker 1: could tell that their sisters were hoping that Tammy was
- 6:06Speaker 1: going to chill out for a bit and not really
- 6:08Speaker 1: get into any serious relationships. It is pretty crazy when
- 6:11Speaker 1: you look at the timeline because Matt Paul and Tammy
- 6:14Speaker 1: got engaged in November 2021 and she then gave birth
- 6:17Speaker 1: to their daughter Posey in June 2022. And it's reported
- 6:21Speaker 1: that they split just three months later. So it's all
- 6:24Speaker 1: been very quick. And the sisters explain that that they'd
- 6:28Speaker 1: previously got very invested in Tammy's relationships and had overstepped.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It kind of reminded me of our relationship with each
- 6:35Speaker 1: other where you give your honest opinion on guys. Well,
- 6:38Speaker 1: also you spend all of this time during the breakup
- 6:42Speaker 1: pumping the person up, telling them what they should do.
- 6:44Speaker 1: And it's quite clear. that Emily and Amy were upset
- 6:47Speaker 1: because they said that they had a plan with Tammy
- 6:50Speaker 1: after the breakup with Matt Poole. They said the next
- 6:53Speaker 1: person Tammy meets, that she should take things slower with them.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And Tammy agreed to it. Here's how Amy described Tammy
- 7:01Speaker 1: when it comes to relationships.
- 7:03Speaker 3: And Tammy loves love. You would know that she loves
- 7:06Speaker 3: romance and it's why she always falls so hard, which
- 7:10Speaker 3: I like hated, but also loved about her and didn't
- 7:12Speaker 3: want her to ever lose that. So I always just
- 7:15Speaker 3: like hoped for you guys to work out.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't think Tammy would have been happy with this
- 7:21Speaker 1: description because she cops so much shit online from people
- 7:25Speaker 1: saying that she races into relationships every And she falls
- 7:28Speaker 1: head over heels too quickly. And this is kind of
- 7:30Speaker 1: cementing it. Yeah, it just reiterates what everyone's been saying online. Now,
- 7:33Speaker 1: there were so many revelations during this podcast, but one
- 7:37Speaker 1: of the biggest involved a planned elopement. Oh, I couldn't
- 7:41Speaker 1: believe they were talking about this. So this was only
- 7:43Speaker 1: weeks into their relationship when Matt and Tammy announced to
- 7:47Speaker 1: their families that they were eloping and even had a
- 7:50Speaker 1: location booked in. Now, for context, this was before Matt
- 7:54Speaker 1: then went on to propose to Tammy in the Maldives
- 7:57Speaker 1: last year. I can't imagine why the family were concerned
- 8:00Speaker 1: at all. Oh, it just seems totally normal, doesn't it? Now,
- 8:03Speaker 1: this elopement led to crisis meetings with the Hembrough family,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and it sounded like things got particularly heated with Emily.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Here's what she said.
- 8:12Speaker 4: You and Tammy were going to elope.
- 8:14Speaker 1: We were going to elope, yeah.
- 8:15Speaker 4: We were concerned. They were very concerned.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Naturally. I know you say you had no feelings, but
- 8:19Speaker 1: you were very strong on.
- 8:20Speaker 4: The other side of the kitchen bench.
- 8:22Speaker 5: No, I thought it was really crazy and silly and
- 8:23Speaker 5: it would have been a really bad mistake. But I
- 8:26Speaker 5: just didn't, I didn't express it to anyone, but I
- 8:28Speaker 5: think I expressed it just to you.
- 8:29Speaker 1: So you guys hate me?
- 8:31Speaker 4: No.
- 8:31Speaker 3: No.
- 8:32Speaker 5: It was nothing to do with you and your character and.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Who you are. It was going to be any person
- 8:38Speaker 4: that she was with.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 4: You know?
- 8:41Speaker 5: And I just found it like, I remember saying to you,
- 8:43Speaker 5: the first time we spoke about it at her house,
- 8:46Speaker 5: And I just said to you like, what's the rush?
- 8:49Speaker 4: And you were like, well, why not? We love each other.
- 8:51Speaker 5: And I was like, that's just like so silly.
- 8:53Speaker 1: It's so fascinating hearing all of the dirty details of
- 8:58Speaker 1: what went on behind the scenes because I feel like
- 9:01Speaker 1: we were almost gaslit into thinking that the whole family
- 9:04Speaker 1: approved of Matt and that everyone thought it was so
- 9:07Speaker 1: normal that things were moving at such a fast pace. Well,
- 9:09Speaker 1: they had Papa Hembro on as in Tammy's dad a
- 9:12Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago and he was acting like he
- 9:14Speaker 1: was cool with the whole thing. But it sounds like
- 9:16Speaker 1: the sisters had a very different take on it. But
- 9:18Speaker 1: sometimes the parents, like, of course, Tammy's dad is going
- 9:21Speaker 1: to go on there and speak her up. I mean,
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's the sisters that give the very genuine side of
- 9:26Speaker 1: the story. It was so awkward listening to this because
- 9:28Speaker 1: Matt was clearly not reading the room because he then
- 9:31Speaker 1: went on to ask Emily and Amy, oh, would have
- 9:33Speaker 1: you guys attended the elopement if it went ahead? Shut up, Matt.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Stop talking. And Emily hit back and said, isn't the
- 9:39Speaker 1: point of an elopement to do it without people? I
- 9:42Speaker 1: think it was Matt and Emily that were butting heads
- 9:44Speaker 1: the most because Matt kept going at Emily and And saying, oh, well,
- 9:48Speaker 1: you got engaged to your husband very quickly after meeting him.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But she was like, well, I hadn't just been proposed
- 9:53Speaker 1: to twice. Or had a one-year-old child involved. Which was
- 9:57Speaker 1: a bit of a burn to Tammy. It also made
- 9:59Speaker 1: it very clear that that's clearly what Tammy and Matt
- 10:02Speaker 1: are saying behind the sister's back. She's done the same thing.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It did seem like Tammy's sisters must have gotten through
- 10:09Speaker 1: to the couple a little bit because despite the elopement
- 10:12Speaker 1: being booked in, Tammy changed her mind. He said, I
- 10:16Speaker 1: don't want a loaf anymore because we had it booked in,
- 10:18Speaker 1: in like a month later.
- 10:19Speaker 4: And then I was like, well, I'm going to propose,
- 10:21Speaker 4: make it more like romantic.
- 10:23Speaker 1: And then she was like, nah, we're not a loafing.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I want to do a wedding.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Despite Tammy's sisters really pushing for them to slow things down,
- 10:31Speaker 1: Matt was still very adamant that he wanted to propose.
- 10:34Speaker 1: So he explained in this interview that he locked in
- 10:37Speaker 1: a time to visit Amy and Emily at their skin clinic.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And he had the ring with him because he was
- 10:43Speaker 1: there to seek their approval. I mean, it was so
- 10:45Speaker 1: obvious that they weren't cool with the thing the whole time.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And her absence spoke volumes. And she said it was
- 10:51Speaker 1: her way of giving Matt a big fat no. This
- 10:54Speaker 1: is what Emily said.
- 10:56Speaker 5: When you guys said you were getting engaged, I was like,
- 10:59Speaker 5: he must be that delusional.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I was really concerned.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Because she is like, she's spontaneous and she's a fun
- 11:08Speaker 5: spirit and she likes to do what she wants to do.
- 11:10Speaker 5: But for a guy to come in and think that's
- 11:12Speaker 5: okay when she's got a one-year-old, like I thought that
- 11:15Speaker 5: was a big red flag.
- 11:17Speaker 1: It's pretty evident that Emily hates Matt's guts. I mean,
- 11:21Speaker 1: that's what I took from this interview. And it was
- 11:23Speaker 1: almost like she was saying that he was too irresponsible
- 11:26Speaker 1: to be a stepfather. Yeah. And things got even worse
- 11:30Speaker 1: when Emily then issued a warning to Matt about.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I feel like I like Matt as a person. Like,
- 11:37Speaker 4: I think he's nice.
- 11:38Speaker 5: Yeah. I think he's immature. I think he's got to
- 11:40Speaker 5: do a lot of growing up. Like, you're very immature.
- 11:43Speaker 5: But I think you're a nice person. Like, you've got
- 11:45Speaker 5: a good heart. Like, you've got good intentions with her.
- 11:48Speaker 5: But I do still feel like it could be a
- 11:50Speaker 5: longer engagement. But, like, we get along.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 4: There's no beef. There's love. No beef.
- 11:55Speaker 2: After this, there might be.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I know.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Immature?
- 11:58Speaker 4: In what way?
- 12:00Speaker 5: You're like... Some of the stuff you say, I can't
- 12:02Speaker 5: think of things off the top of my head. I'm
- 12:03Speaker 5: pretty rogue.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I just say stuff.
- 12:04Speaker 4: That's like a little teenager boy would say something like that. Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Like a little baby. Yeah. A big baby.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You know you're rogue. I know.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I thought it was a good idea to get these
- 12:15Speaker 4: guys on.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, sure.
- 12:17Speaker 5: I just hope you know marriage is a serious thing.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Absolutely. You have said that to me before.
- 12:23Speaker 5: It is actually a serious thing and, like, I hope
- 12:27Speaker 5: you don't make any mistakes. Like I really pray and
- 12:30Speaker 5: hope that you don't do anything to hurt Tammy.
- 12:34Speaker 4: I'm not going to hurt Tammy. I have no intention
- 12:36Speaker 4: of hurting Tammy.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I totally get the baby comment after hearing Matt say that, oh,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm not going to hurt Tammy. That is my absolute
- 12:45Speaker 1: ick when people speak in baby voices. It's like he
- 12:47Speaker 1: was this little boy who was being told off. Look,
- 12:50Speaker 1: the biggest issue for me, and it appears the sisters,
- 12:53Speaker 1: is Matt's rush. It just seems like everything is such
- 12:56Speaker 1: a rush. I don't get why it has to be.
- 12:58Speaker 1: I mean, if he really loves her, why can't they
- 13:01Speaker 1: wait two years to get married? These comments from Emily
- 13:03Speaker 1: are just so explosive because what she's essentially saying is
- 13:06Speaker 1: that she is concerned that that Matt is going to
- 13:09Speaker 1: cheat on Tammy. I don't know if she's saying that.
- 13:11Speaker 1: She is by giving him a warning saying you better
- 13:14Speaker 1: not hurt her. Well, they were obviously pissed off after
- 13:16Speaker 1: that Grand Prix DM that got exposed. Oh, well, that
- 13:19Speaker 1: is totally what this is in reference to. And I
- 13:23Speaker 1: think she's very concerned that when the reality of marriage
- 13:26Speaker 1: sets in for Matt, you know, once all these festivities
- 13:29Speaker 1: are over, that he will become bored and unhappy and
- 13:32Speaker 1: particularly when he's becoming a new stepdad to three kids
- 13:36Speaker 1: do you think they're also trying to get it on
- 13:37Speaker 1: the record like before they get married it's kind of
- 13:39Speaker 1: like we were right i feel like they probably had
- 13:42Speaker 1: a fight with tammy beforehand and they just can't stand
- 13:45Speaker 1: sitting there and blowing smoke up this guy's ass but
- 13:49Speaker 1: how did it air like if this was recorded a
- 13:51Speaker 1: few weeks ago surely tammy would have heard and said
- 13:53Speaker 1: please don't air this this is too damaging In terms
- 13:56Speaker 1: of PR, this is the worst PR this couple could
- 13:58Speaker 1: have just weeks out from their wedding. Well, that's the thing.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Emily wasn't glowing of Matt either when it came to
- 14:04Speaker 1: discussing how he was with her kids because online there's
- 14:08Speaker 1: been a lot of discussion like, oh, he looks like
- 14:10Speaker 1: quite a good stepdad. That's what I took from all
- 14:12Speaker 1: the TikToks they do. I was like, oh, good on him.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He's having fun with the children. He's taking them to
- 14:16Speaker 1: the movies. Well, because we saw that he and Wolf
- 14:19Speaker 1: both shaved their heads and everyone's been saying how much
- 14:21Speaker 1: Wolf looks like Matt and they seem to have quite
- 14:23Speaker 1: a cute little connection. And when- Maybe he's on their level.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Well, Emily said, oh, I haven't really seen him much
- 14:31Speaker 1: with the kids. And she confessed that the first time
- 14:33Speaker 1: that Matt hung out with the whole family, she purposely
- 14:37Speaker 1: tried to make it appear extra chaotic with the kids. Yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I thought that was hilarious because she said she even
- 14:42Speaker 1: went as far as banging the table when he wasn't watching.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It was like, oh, the kids are pretty good today.
- 14:46Speaker 1: They're not that noisy. Yeah, it was clearly a test.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And she said that Matt looked like he'd seen a ghost.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I just couldn't help but feel like Emily in particular
- 14:55Speaker 1: was trying to insinuate that Matt was a bit of
- 14:57Speaker 1: a gold digger because he stands to gain a lot
- 15:00Speaker 1: from marrying Tammy. She is reportedly worth $ 50 million. And
- 15:04Speaker 1: unless they sign a prenup, Matt could potentially claim half
- 15:08Speaker 1: of her fortune if they get divorced. Well, I don't
- 15:10Speaker 1: think they have prenups in Australia. I'm sure there's some
- 15:12Speaker 1: legalities around it though. And I just think ultimately, this
- 15:16Speaker 1: is why they are so suspicious of him rushing into this.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Because there seems to have been a lot of love
- 15:22Speaker 1: bombing from the start. And Tammy had been telling her
- 15:25Speaker 1: sisters that she was in love and had met her
- 15:27Speaker 1: soulmate and that they're going to be together forever. And
- 15:31Speaker 1: they're probably just thinking, well, if she was worth nothing,
- 15:34Speaker 1: would you be rushing in to marry her? I don't
- 15:36Speaker 1: think that Matt is a gold digger. I don't think
- 15:38Speaker 1: that's why he's after Tammy. I just think, as the
- 15:41Speaker 1: sisters said, he's immature. So you don't think that her
- 15:44Speaker 1: lifestyle has anything to do with the fact that he
- 15:47Speaker 1: wants to lock things down quickly? When you of a
- 15:50Speaker 1: gold digger you generally think of somebody who's going after
- 15:54Speaker 1: some like old person that has nothing going for them
- 15:56Speaker 1: like Tammy Hembrough has a hell of a lot going
- 15:59Speaker 1: for her I don't think the age matters no but
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm saying like I think he's in awe of Tammy
- 16:04Speaker 1: because she's gorgeous She's super successful. Yes, she has a
- 16:07Speaker 1: lot of money and probably a lifestyle that he is
- 16:09Speaker 1: quite envious of or wants to be involved in. But
- 16:11Speaker 1: what's the point of getting married so quickly? Like, couldn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: you just enjoy? Because I think he's being immature and
- 16:16Speaker 1: he's in awe of her because of how famous and
- 16:19Speaker 1: successful and talented she is, to be honest. It sounds
- 16:22Speaker 1: like he is very immature. But also, I loved this
- 16:26Speaker 1: part of the podcast because the sisters pointed out that
- 16:30Speaker 1: they found it particularly concerning that the way that Matt
- 16:33Speaker 1: was so quick to call Tammy's house our house, that
- 16:37Speaker 1: would piss me off. Here's what they said.
- 16:41Speaker 5: And you were talking about, I think, the New Year's
- 16:42Speaker 5: Eve party and you were like, are you going to
- 16:43Speaker 5: come to our house that we're hosting our party?
- 16:47Speaker 4: I'm like, you literally just met. You just moved in.
- 16:49Speaker 4: You literally just sat down.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Did I really? You're like the audacity.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Like a few times, I'm like, okay, I get it.
- 16:57Speaker 4: You guys have a good relationship.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Surely not. No. Party.
- 17:01Speaker 5: You did.
- 17:03Speaker 3: Oh, house.
- 17:04Speaker 4: This is the first time you've been to this house. Yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 4: it's the first time I'm there.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I was still staying in a hotel. This is so
- 17:13Speaker 1: uncomfortable to listen to. It is so clear that he
- 17:16Speaker 1: has totally rubbed this family up the wrong way. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: his comments just really seem to lack awareness because it's
- 17:23Speaker 1: like he's sending the message, oh, this two-story mansion is
- 17:26Speaker 1: already mine, even though it's like the first time he's
- 17:28Speaker 1: fucking been there. Well, there was a huge red flag.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I think I would have loved to have been a
- 17:32Speaker 1: fly on the wall during the car ride home between
- 17:35Speaker 1: Amy and Emily, because they would have been bitching their
- 17:38Speaker 1: faces off. Like if this was me and I'd met
- 17:41Speaker 1: your boyfriend, Sophie, and he was calling your house his,
- 17:44Speaker 1: that would infuriate me so much. Oh, totally. There would
- 17:47Speaker 1: be so much bitching going on behind the scenes. It
- 17:50Speaker 1: was probably not a great move as well when he
- 17:51Speaker 1: said that they were in fact invited to the party. Like,
- 17:54Speaker 1: of course they were invited to the party. The whole
- 17:56Speaker 1: vibe that I get from this is that Emily and
- 17:59Speaker 1: Amy and the other sisters potentially have made it very
- 18:02Speaker 1: clear to Tammy what they think about Matt. And Tammy
- 18:06Speaker 1: is probably wanting to prove them wrong by marrying him,
- 18:09Speaker 1: by saying, look, it all worked out. Like, not only
- 18:11Speaker 1: is she wanting to prove her family wrong, but she's
- 18:13Speaker 1: wanting to prove all of the trolls wrong. And I
- 18:17Speaker 1: just think she would have been beyond livid to listen
- 18:20Speaker 1: to this episode back because it just plays into what
- 18:23Speaker 1: trolls have been saying. Can someone please make this a
- 18:26Speaker 1: reality show, their wedding? Like, could they make it like
- 18:29Speaker 1: newlyweds or something? Because this would be sensational to watch.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It's got the whole Kim Kardashian, Chris Humphries vibe because
- 18:35Speaker 1: maybe it won't last for very long as well. The
- 18:38Speaker 1: only reason I can think of that Matt would have
- 18:41Speaker 1: wanted this episode to see the light of day is
- 18:44Speaker 1: to gain exposure for his podcast. But interestingly, it hasn't
- 18:48Speaker 1: been picked up by the mainstream media yet. Well, I
- 18:51Speaker 1: first heard about this podcast through TikTok. Because the Where's
- 18:55Speaker 1: Your Head At podcast put up this clip and it
- 18:57Speaker 1: was where Emily was warning Matt. And I was like,
- 19:00Speaker 1: fucking hell, with no context, this looks even worse. Do
- 19:04Speaker 1: you reckon Anna was like, look, mate, we're going to
- 19:05Speaker 1: have to put it up because our podcast needs some
- 19:07Speaker 1: extra views.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You knew what was coming.
- 19:12Speaker 1: In a much anticipated podcast episode, Lucy Jackson has spilled
- 19:16Speaker 1: the tea on why she dramatically broke up with her boyfriend, Sam,
- 19:19Speaker 1: a day after he moved in. Lucy announced a breakup
- 19:23Speaker 1: on TikTok two weeks ago, sharing that she was looking
- 19:26Speaker 1: for a new roommate. She then confirmed in the comment
- 19:29Speaker 1: section that Sam had cheated on her. However, we did
- 19:33Speaker 1: not know all of the dirty details until now. This
- 19:36Speaker 1: has been popping up all over my TikTok because people
- 19:39Speaker 1: have been taking the most explosive parts of this episode
- 19:43Speaker 1: and showing their reaction whilst they're just doing everyday tasks.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Like some girl was getting her nails done and was like,
- 19:49Speaker 1: oh my God. it did not disappoint. Now this episode
- 19:53Speaker 1: was entitled, I got cheated on, never trust a boy
- 19:56Speaker 1: in low cut vans. And this is quite iconic because
- 20:00Speaker 1: she explained on her TikTok how low cut vans have
- 20:02Speaker 1: been on her ick list for years. And these are
- 20:05Speaker 1: the shoes he chose to wear on their first date.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Isn't it funny how sometimes you just know in your gut,
- 20:09Speaker 1: like you know ahead of time, this guy's going to
- 20:12Speaker 1: be a fucking dick. There's some little red flags along
- 20:14Speaker 1: the way. Now they started the podcast by prefacing that
- 20:17Speaker 1: they didn't want their listeners to go and leave Sam
- 20:20Speaker 1: hate comments and that they don't condone bullying in any way.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Lucy also said that no one is perfect and that
- 20:26Speaker 1: she's made mistakes in her life. And I think that
- 20:29Speaker 1: this is in reference to rumours which have since surfaced
- 20:32Speaker 1: about her allegedly being unfaithful to her past partner. I
- 20:36Speaker 1: got the vibe throughout this podcast that she's concerned that
- 20:40Speaker 1: Sam is going to start spreading vicious rumours about her.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I always find it amusing when people have to put
- 20:46Speaker 1: these warnings in at the start, like, please don't give
- 20:48Speaker 1: him hate, but then they create an absolute town on him. Like,
- 20:52Speaker 1: obviously their listeners are going to go after Sam. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: reckon it must have been really cathartic for her to
- 20:56Speaker 1: record this. Yeah, I mean, I don't blame them for
- 20:59Speaker 1: going in hard on him. He sounds like an absolute dickhead. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: she sounds like a douchebag from this. So she... started
- 21:05Speaker 1: by explaining their relationship timeline as it was quite pivotal
- 21:09Speaker 1: to the story. So just a quick refresher. They met
- 21:13Speaker 1: in Feb this year. They went on a first date
- 21:15Speaker 1: and saw each other for two weeks until Lucy called
- 21:19Speaker 1: things off when she went to America for a month.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And she said that she called things off because she
- 21:24Speaker 1: was uncertain about him. She wasn't really into him. Now,
- 21:28Speaker 1: when she got back from America, they picked things back
- 21:31Speaker 1: up straight away. And during the month of April, they
- 21:33Speaker 1: weren't really official, but she said that they were still
- 21:36Speaker 1: seeing each other five times a week and they started
- 21:39Speaker 1: meeting each other's friends and discussing meeting each other's family members.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry, if you're catching up with someone five times
- 21:45Speaker 1: a week, you've got to put a title. That's official.
- 21:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Well, in May, that's when things became really serious and
- 21:51Speaker 1: they planned to meet up in Europe and they also
- 21:54Speaker 1: discussed moving in with each other after the trip. And
- 21:57Speaker 1: Lucy explained that they were very much together, but because
- 22:00Speaker 1: she's been so busy with work, They were like ships
- 22:03Speaker 1: in the night. So they spent a lot of time apart,
- 22:05Speaker 1: but it sounded like they were official. And she went
- 22:08Speaker 1: on to say what a great time they had together
- 22:10Speaker 1: in Europe. And when they returned, they exchanged I love yous.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And this was when he was then set to move in. Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Now let's get into what actually went down. So he
- 22:20Speaker 1: moved in on the Tuesday and by Wednesday night, she
- 22:23Speaker 1: was kicking him out. So on Wednesday, Lucy and Sam
- 22:27Speaker 1: went out to dinner and they met up with some
- 22:29Speaker 1: of his friends that she hadn't met before. And they
- 22:31Speaker 1: were supposed to be going to a wedding together the
- 22:34Speaker 1: next day. Now, when they got home, she decided to
- 22:37Speaker 1: check her indirect and hidden DMs. And she said that
- 22:40Speaker 1: this is a bit of a toxic trait of hers
- 22:42Speaker 1: and she religiously checks them. It's not because she was
- 22:44Speaker 1: concerned about anything. She just does it all the time.
- 22:47Speaker 1: And in there, there was a message from a girl
- 22:50Speaker 1: claiming to have slept with Sam in May. Here's what
- 22:53Speaker 1: Lucy said.
- 22:55Speaker 2: There was a message from a girl pretty much saying
- 22:59Speaker 2: that She had an encounter in May with him. Should
- 23:09Speaker 2: I call it an encounter?
- 23:10Speaker 4: Like I don't know. What do you even call it?
- 23:12Speaker 2: SCX?
- 23:13Speaker 1: Yeah, like slept with him.
- 23:15Speaker 4: In May.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And that when we were in Europe, he was texting
- 23:23Speaker 2: her and calling her and trying to like essentially, you know, woo.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Her from outside.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Afar from a music festival in Belgium.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I go, surely there was better things to be doing
- 23:35Speaker 2: at that point in time, bro.
- 23:38Speaker 4: And so I had a moment and I was like, whoa.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And you know, when everything kind of just like spins
- 23:43Speaker 2: in front of you and you're like, what the fuck's
- 23:45Speaker 2: going on? I was literally in my undies. Like I
- 23:47Speaker 2: was just like, you know, not prepared. And I just said,
- 23:53Speaker 2: get the fuck out of my house. And Obviously, a
- 23:56Speaker 2: lot of shock. He was very shocked. And I just said,
- 24:00Speaker 2: get the fuck out of my house. And then obviously
- 24:04Speaker 2: I said, do not make me raise my voice.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Get the fuck out.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 24:09Speaker 2: And he left.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Did he know why you said that?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I showed him my phone.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah, right.
- 24:15Speaker 2: And obviously he went pale as a ghost, as you
- 24:17Speaker 2: would when you get caught out for that kind of shit.
- 24:20Speaker 1: So Lucy referred to this girl as girlfriend number one.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And she explained that this girl had had a long
- 24:26Speaker 1: history with Sam. So things had been back and forth
- 24:29Speaker 1: between the pair and they'd known each other for years
- 24:31Speaker 1: and there were a lot of wounds. Now, girlfriend number
- 24:34Speaker 1: one said she wasn't aware Sam was with Lucy when
- 24:37Speaker 1: they'd slept together. He also told her he was going
- 24:40Speaker 1: to Europe with a friend called Lucy. Oh my God.
- 24:44Speaker 1: What a stab in the heart to be referred to
- 24:47Speaker 1: as someone's friend. Now, despite not having a huge amount
- 24:50Speaker 1: of proof, Lucy instantly believed her. And Sam started to
- 24:54Speaker 1: go into full damage control. He allegedly started messaging girlfriend
- 24:58Speaker 1: number one, begging her not to say any more to Lucy,
- 25:02Speaker 1: which is instant guilt. Now this is where girlfriend number
- 25:05Speaker 1: two enters the chat. So she had come up a
- 25:08Speaker 1: lot in their relationship as they hadn't broken up long
- 25:10Speaker 1: before Lucy and Sam started dating. And there were numerous
- 25:14Speaker 1: instances where they wouldn't go to certain coffee shops because
- 25:17Speaker 1: she was going to be there. Red flag. Yeah. And
- 25:20Speaker 1: Sam had spoken quite ill of her on several occasions
- 25:23Speaker 1: and Lucy said that that should have been a red flag,
- 25:26Speaker 1: but she... That is so true. What do you think
- 25:28Speaker 1: about that? Should exes talk nicely about each other? I
- 25:31Speaker 1: think you should always be somewhat respectful because obviously you
- 25:34Speaker 1: were with that person for a reason. You'd love them
- 25:37Speaker 1: at some stage of your life and that they were,
- 25:40Speaker 1: they're always going to have been a part of your life.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Don't you think it's a huge red flag when a
- 25:44Speaker 1: guy's like, oh, my ex was crazy. And you're like, well,
- 25:48Speaker 1: did you make them crazy? Yeah, definitely. Definitely. I mean,
- 25:51Speaker 1: it's different if someone has actually treated you awfully.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:55Speaker 1: If someone's cheated on you, you can say that they're
- 25:57Speaker 1: a pig. Now, Lucy brought up girlfriend number two on
- 26:00Speaker 1: the phone with Sam after they split. And after a
- 26:03Speaker 1: lot of back and forth, Sam admitted that he did
- 26:06Speaker 1: sleep with girlfriend number two in April. And that was
- 26:09Speaker 1: when Lucy was in Bali for her birthday. So this
- 26:12Speaker 1: was around the time that they were hanging out a lot.
- 26:14Speaker 1: They weren't quite official. It's pretty random because Lucy said
- 26:18Speaker 1: that one of her male friends ended up pursuing girlfriend
- 26:21Speaker 1: number two whilst she and Sam were going out. And
- 26:25Speaker 1: she told the friend that Sam was bad news. That's
- 26:27Speaker 1: clever of Lucy to push the friend towards girlfriend number two.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Let's get her out the picture. Let's get her with
- 26:33Speaker 1: a boyfriend. I don't think she did. I think it
- 26:35Speaker 1: was all just pretty random. Now, following these revelations, Lucy
- 26:39Speaker 1: threw all of Sam's possessions on the side of the
- 26:42Speaker 1: road and told him that he had until the afternoon
- 26:45Speaker 1: to pick them up or she'd take them to the tip. Now,
- 26:48Speaker 1: because he moved in, he left three surfboards in her garage.
- 26:52Speaker 1: And she said that she contemplated running them over, but
- 26:55Speaker 1: thought better of it. So instead, she left a note
- 26:58Speaker 1: on top of his possessions, which said, you are a loser.
- 27:02Speaker 1: And she also decided to keep his ugliest jacket, which
- 27:05Speaker 1: he is obsessed with. And she said she's planning on
- 27:08Speaker 1: throwing it into the canal in front of her house.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So that's a bit of a farewell sign. I would
- 27:13Speaker 1: have let him keep the ugly jacket because my theory
- 27:16Speaker 1: is that he'll keep wearing that on dates and keep
- 27:18Speaker 1: repelling people. Now, back when Lucy shared the initial breakup
- 27:22Speaker 1: news on her TikTok, this is when girl number three
- 27:26Speaker 1: popped up. And Lucy referred to this girl as random girl.
- 27:30Speaker 1: So this girl slid into Lucy's DMs and informed her
- 27:33Speaker 1: that she'd slept with her ex earlier in the year. Now,
- 27:36Speaker 1: this didn't bother Lucy as much as it could have
- 27:39Speaker 1: been before they met. But what bothered her was a
- 27:42Speaker 1: text message exchange that they had in Europe. So this
- 27:45Speaker 1: was at the same music festival where he was texting
- 27:48Speaker 1: girlfriend number one. It was actually this text message exchange
- 27:52Speaker 1: that Lucy said made her feel the most sick and
- 27:55Speaker 1: she decided to read it out word for word on
- 27:57Speaker 1: the podcast. Here's what it said.
- 28:00Speaker 2: So I'm going to read you some of the messages
- 28:03Speaker 2: that he was sending this girl. So how's dating on
- 28:08Speaker 2: the Gold Coast going? And this is him asking her.
- 28:12Speaker 2: And she goes, pretty non-existent.
- 28:13Speaker 4: What about you?
- 28:14Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 28:15Speaker 2: I feel like there's a lot of single boys getting around.
- 28:18Speaker 2: And then she goes, well, if you know anyone, let
- 28:20Speaker 2: me know. How's your dating life? And he goes, haha,
- 28:23Speaker 2: I'll keep an ear out. Yeah, I'm actually dating someone
- 28:26Speaker 2: at the moment. It's going pretty well, I guess. I'll
- 28:28Speaker 2: keep you updated.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Haha.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Oh.
- 28:32Speaker 2: And she goes, you guess, that doesn't sound promising. And
- 28:36Speaker 2: he goes, ha-ha, it's going well, can always be better,
- 28:39Speaker 2: you know. And she goes, how so? And he goes,
- 28:43Speaker 2: I don't know, just a figure of speech, ha-ha. But
- 28:46Speaker 2: your dating life, I seen, which I also hate when
- 28:49Speaker 2: people just say seen instead of saw, get some fucking grammar.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I seen you posted a pic with a boy the
- 28:56Speaker 2: other day. Was this something or just a random thing?
- 29:00Speaker 2: And she goes, did I? Someone that's on Instagram once
- 29:02Speaker 2: a week on his iPad fucking keeping tabs on everyone.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Did I?
- 29:05Speaker 2: I don't know who it would have been. Oh, maybe
- 29:08Speaker 2: someone you worked with. And she goes, maybe. And he goes,
- 29:10Speaker 2: so secretive.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Ha ha. Nikki played such a supporting role in this podcast,
- 29:17Speaker 1: but her comments were absolutely iconic. Like her going on
- 29:19Speaker 1: about him on his iPad, noticing everything that's happening on
- 29:23Speaker 1: this girl's face. I was in absolute fits of laughter.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I can see why she'd be most offended by this
- 29:29Speaker 1: text message exchange because it's like as if Lucy's just
- 29:33Speaker 1: a nobody, like non-existent. You're literally moving into her house
- 29:37Speaker 1: in a few weeks' time, you dickhead. Well, I have
- 29:39Speaker 1: to explain. Nikki's original iPad comment because Lucy said that
- 29:44Speaker 1: there were so many things that were off about Sam
- 29:47Speaker 1: that she should have realised and one was his use
- 29:49Speaker 1: of an iPad. But what guy uses an iPad? He
- 29:52Speaker 1: claimed that he only used Instagram on his iPad because
- 29:56Speaker 1: And she believed him because she thought that he was this, like, artsy,
- 30:00Speaker 1: wholesome guy who didn't like social media. But it's quite
- 30:03Speaker 1: clear that he was trying to cover his tracks. Now,
- 30:06Speaker 1: the other clue that things weren't quite right was that
- 30:09Speaker 1: he had a weird handle on Instagram, so it wasn't
- 30:11Speaker 1: his real name. Well, what seemed to puzzle Lucy the
- 30:15Speaker 1: most was how he thought he was going to get
- 30:16Speaker 1: away with it. Let's have a listen to what she said.
- 30:20Speaker 2: When you jumped in your car and drove your bloody
- 30:23Speaker 2: stupid car around with your stupid camper van on top, yuck,
- 30:29Speaker 2: over to one of these girls' houses knowing who I
- 30:34Speaker 2: was online based on what you already knew. It's not
- 30:39Speaker 2: like you just stumble.
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's like, oh, I didn't know.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Like you knew what was coming.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Like you knew what the repercussions would be and yet
- 30:48Speaker 2: you still chose to do it.
- 30:51Speaker 1: She has a really good point and this is why
- 30:52Speaker 1: I don't feel bad for the guy because she he
- 30:55Speaker 1: would know the type of personality that Lucy is, that
- 30:59Speaker 1: she would be very forthcoming to share this with her
- 31:01Speaker 1: podcast listeners and do a whole expose. This guy is
- 31:05Speaker 1: going to find it very difficult to date moving forward.
- 31:08Speaker 1: He's probably going to run back to girlfriend number two
- 31:11Speaker 1: who hasn't reached out to Lucy because it's probably the
- 31:14Speaker 1: only person who's going to be able to get at
- 31:15Speaker 1: this stage.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Oh, my God, I've just realised I've been in the
- 31:21Speaker 4: same shirt all week.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Sky Wheatley has revealed the much anticipated results of her
- 31:28Speaker 1: fox eye lift three weeks after going under the knife
- 31:31Speaker 1: in Turkey. Until now, the 30-year-old has been hiding her
- 31:35Speaker 1: eyes behind surgery bandages and black glasses. Yeah, she's even
- 31:39Speaker 1: had paparazzi following her every move to try and get
- 31:42Speaker 1: a glimpse of the results. And it's clear that she
- 31:45Speaker 1: has been inundated by followers asking her why she won't
- 31:49Speaker 1: just show her eyes because She responded in a Q &
- 31:52Speaker 1: A saying that she can't be fucked with people's opinions
- 31:55Speaker 1: right now and that the healing will take three to
- 31:58Speaker 1: six months. And to prove her point, she posted a
- 32:01Speaker 1: photo of her nose a few weeks after her nose job,
- 32:04Speaker 1: which she got probably five years ago and said, look
- 32:07Speaker 1: how dumb my nose looked when I first got it done.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Like I said, the healing process ain't fun for me.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I even hated my boobs when I first got the
- 32:15Speaker 1: tape off. I had a meltdown about it on my
- 32:17Speaker 1: YouTube video. Lol, you got to trust the process. Well,
- 32:21Speaker 1: she also revealed that she didn't love how the fox
- 32:23Speaker 1: eye lift looked straight after surgery because she said it
- 32:26Speaker 1: was very swollen and it looked uneven. But she knows
- 32:30Speaker 1: that she just needs to wait and be patient to
- 32:32Speaker 1: see the actual results. And that's what a lot of
- 32:34Speaker 1: people have been saying online, especially in our Facebook community,
- 32:37Speaker 1: that you can't judge it now. Yeah, well, it seemed
- 32:40Speaker 1: like she was forced to come out with her results
- 32:43Speaker 1: earlier than she would have liked because she had a
- 32:45Speaker 1: meet and greet with fans last Friday and Was that
- 32:48Speaker 1: for that new drink she's got?
- 32:50Speaker 4: I think so.
- 32:51Speaker 1: She was dressed in a police outfit. I'm not quite
- 32:53Speaker 1: sure what that had to do with it. Surely she
- 32:55Speaker 1: could have worn sunglasses. Yeah, well, I assume she didn't
- 32:57Speaker 1: want fans posting photos that she had no control over first.
- 33:01Speaker 1: She wanted to be the one that got the chance
- 33:03Speaker 1: to show the results, maybe in the lighting that she liked.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And she ended up sharing a video where she turned
- 33:08Speaker 1: from side to side to show her new look. But
- 33:11Speaker 1: she still had a lot of heavy face tape around
- 33:14Speaker 1: her temples and a lot of bruising, and she wrote
- 33:18Speaker 1: she couldn't be happier with the results and tagged her
- 33:20Speaker 1: doctor thanking him. She then added a big fuck you
- 33:24Speaker 1: to everyone saying I fucked my face up because I
- 33:27Speaker 1: legit just leveled it up actually. Nothing wrong in wanting
- 33:30Speaker 1: to feel and look good. Do what makes you happy, queens.
- 33:34Speaker 1: What worried me though is that following that post, she
- 33:38Speaker 1: then started listing more things that she wanted to do
- 33:41Speaker 1: to her face. So she said that she wanted to
- 33:43Speaker 1: straighten her bottom teeth. And for reference, she literally has
- 33:48Speaker 1: the most stunning, beautiful teeth, like to the point where
- 33:51Speaker 1: people think that her teeth are veneers. They're that nice. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I thought they were veneers.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:55Speaker 1: No, they're natural. So it just sounds like she's ticked
- 33:58Speaker 1: off the fox eye lift and now gone, what else
- 34:00Speaker 1: can I do? I'm still not happy. Yeah. And that's
- 34:02Speaker 1: what's so troubling about this. Now she ended up posting
- 34:06Speaker 1: the full results on TikTok where she had removed the
- 34:09Speaker 1: tape and She did a transition video. So she was
- 34:12Speaker 1: wearing daggy clothes and she had her eyes hidden behind
- 34:15Speaker 1: these new glasses that she's wearing. They're sort of very
- 34:18Speaker 1: like corporate-y glasses. And then she revealed her all glammed
- 34:22Speaker 1: up with her eyes front and center. And I have
- 34:25Speaker 1: to say, they look dramatically different. And again, this is
- 34:28Speaker 1: because it is only three weeks after surgery. They looked
- 34:31Speaker 1: really defined and almond-like. And a few of her followers
- 34:36Speaker 1: were complimentary in the comment section saying, with one saying, oh,
- 34:39Speaker 1: they're a vibe and you look like Bella Hadid. However,
- 34:43Speaker 1: the majority of comments weren't so complimentary. And there was
- 34:47Speaker 1: an influx of people saying that she looked like Jocelyn Wilderstein.
- 34:51Speaker 1: And she's known as cat lady. So she is the
- 34:56Speaker 1: socialite who is known for getting so much cosmetic surgery
- 34:59Speaker 1: that she now resembles a cat. Another person said, no,
- 35:03Speaker 1: why did you do that? Which got over 1200 likes.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Whilst another said, please tell me that you can reverse this.
- 35:11Speaker 1: If I was Skye, I think I would have taken
- 35:13Speaker 1: a social media hiatus for three months and come back
- 35:16Speaker 1: when the eyes were looking how I wanted them to. Yeah,
- 35:18Speaker 1: but it's her career. She needs to be- It is,
- 35:20Speaker 1: but she's losing followers. I had a look on social
- 35:22Speaker 1: blade on Instagram in the past 30 days. She's actually
- 35:25Speaker 1: lost 750 followers. And I would have thought if you're posting-
- 35:29Speaker 1: This type of content that people are talking about, people
- 35:32Speaker 1: are concerned about it. You would think you'd be gaining more,
- 35:35Speaker 1: but I think maybe people are disturbed by the length
- 35:38Speaker 1: that she's going to and concerned about it. I think
- 35:40Speaker 1: because she gained a lot of followers when she won
- 35:43Speaker 1: I'm a Celeb and that would have been a very
- 35:44Speaker 1: mainstream crowd who were probably quite taken back by this.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And don't get me wrong. I actually think Sky Wheatley
- 35:50Speaker 1: is a nice person deep down. She has had a
- 35:52Speaker 1: lot of controversies and she's definitely put her foot in it,
- 35:54Speaker 1: but I don't think she has a bad bone in
- 35:56Speaker 1: her body because But I'm just concerned about her. That's
- 35:59Speaker 1: the thing. It's really difficult to watch this because it's
- 36:01Speaker 1: quite apparent that she has body dysmorphia. And she said
- 36:04Speaker 1: that on a number of occasions. Now, she hit back
- 36:08Speaker 1: at some of the people in the comment section saying, guys,
- 36:11Speaker 1: I'm three weeks post-op. It's going to look crazy whilst
- 36:13Speaker 1: I'm healing, but I love it. Well, at least she's
- 36:15Speaker 1: saying she likes it because, you know, as she said,
- 36:19Speaker 1: she didn't like her nose job at first. She didn't
- 36:20Speaker 1: like her boob job at first. Yeah, but maybe she's
- 36:22Speaker 1: just saying that publicly to save face. There's also been
- 36:26Speaker 1: persistent rumors which have been fanned by the Daily Mail
- 36:29Speaker 1: that Sky Wheatley was set to replace Sophie Monk as
- 36:33Speaker 1: the host of Love Island Australia. But due to this surgery,
- 36:37Speaker 1: the offer has been taken off the table. So a
- 36:40Speaker 1: source told the publication that Sophie was set to work
- 36:43Speaker 1: on other projects at Nine and Sky would be a
- 36:46Speaker 1: really good fit for Love Island. And this is off
- 36:48Speaker 1: the back of a huge popularity after winning I'm a Celeb.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Now the insider claims that Nine ultimately decided not to
- 36:55Speaker 1: work with Sky after she drastically changed the way she looked.
- 36:59Speaker 1: So the Daily Mail quoted the source who said, the
- 37:02Speaker 1: problem with changing your appearance and even your hair color
- 37:05Speaker 1: is that your brand is often wrapped up in a
- 37:07Speaker 1: look you are famous for. I don't think Nine was
- 37:10Speaker 1: unconfident with her ability to host the show. I think
- 37:13Speaker 1: it was just the look they were hiring her for
- 37:15Speaker 1: has changed. Now, Skye ended up responding to these rumors
- 37:19Speaker 1: by posting a video of her lip syncing to Sabrina
- 37:23Speaker 1: Carpenter with the caption, when you get dropped from hosting
- 37:26Speaker 1: Love Island because you got scary surgery and added, okay,
- 37:31Speaker 1: who's in charge of this clickbait? Yeah, she went on
- 37:33Speaker 1: to confirm in the comment section that they never asked
- 37:36Speaker 1: her to host, but was unsure if it's something they
- 37:39Speaker 1: spoke about behind closed doors. I wouldn't be surprised if
- 37:42Speaker 1: this was the case, because if you think about all
- 37:44Speaker 1: of the hosting opportunities that came Abby Chatfield's way after
- 37:47Speaker 1: she won I'm a Celeb, Sky's name would be out there.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Also because Sky recently attended the Logies and we spoke
- 37:55Speaker 1: in that episode how the Logies is a bit of
- 37:57Speaker 1: an audition for the roles that you want. So it's
- 37:59Speaker 1: clear that she's out there. I mean, she mentioned that
- 38:02Speaker 1: she wants to be cast on Big Brother, which would
- 38:04Speaker 1: be a massive win for the show. The thing is,
- 38:06Speaker 1: a lot of her fans said in the comment section,
- 38:09Speaker 1: the only reason they'd start watching Love Island Australia is
- 38:12Speaker 1: if Sky was on there. So it wouldn't be an
- 38:14Speaker 1: entirely bad move. Well, I think that's all we've got
- 38:17Speaker 1: time for today. Thank you for listening to another episode
- 38:20Speaker 1: of Outspoken. Don't forget to follow us on TikTok and
- 38:23Speaker 1: also on Instagram at Outspoken underscore the underscore podcast. And
- 38:28Speaker 1: you can also follow Sophie and I on Instagram and TikTok.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Sophie and I have started posting a bit more regularly
- 38:33Speaker 1: on TikTok now. Yeah, a bit more personal content. I've
- 38:36Speaker 1: been sharing a lot about my wedding. I've got my
- 38:38Speaker 1: wedding dress try on on there because I always love
- 38:40Speaker 1: seeing that pervy stuff from other people. And I don't
- 38:43Speaker 1: really want to flood all of my friends and family
- 38:45Speaker 1: who are probably not interested in seeing it. And you've
- 38:47Speaker 1: got a few barley recommendations on there as well as
- 38:50Speaker 1: some cooking videos. Well, I'm starting to do some cooking videos.
- 38:52Speaker 1: And We really want to get into Christmas content as well.
- 38:56Speaker 1: So we've been going, every Christmas store we've been going to,
- 38:58Speaker 1: we've been doing a bit of a haul from there. Well,
- 39:01Speaker 1: this episode was recorded on the traditional land of the
- 39:04Speaker 1: Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains. We pay respect to
- 39:07Speaker 1: elders past and present.
