  [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we've been doing every week since the season ended a mock draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And this is going to be the second seven round mock draft we've done for your jag wars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they don't have a pick in the first round as of right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've done a mock draft before where they traded back up into the first round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've done one more.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They got close to the first round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: we've been moving all over the board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Today we're not going to do any trades, but we are going to talk about what happens prior to the draft and this isn't a definitive prediction.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This is some things that I think could make sense for the Jaguars here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that could be within the realm of possibility from a

  [SPEAKER_00]: handling the cap from a resignings, from a signing standpoint, the Jack Wars, they have so far resigned to Matt Dickerson and DJ Dallas and last night, they resigned Christian Braswell as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, restructure air, Garmsted, Walker Little, Foil, Luke, and Josh Heinz Allen, Devon Hamilton.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These are all restructures that,

  [SPEAKER_00]: don't require any negotiation.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars can just execute these and clear up a lot of cap space.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then I think you extend Trayvon Walker as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't see any reason not to extend Trayvon Walker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Hard worker, talented player, ask kicker up front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you can resign or extend him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: new money will start in 2026 towards the cap, but you can give that big signing bonus and clear out about half of his 2026 cap hit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: With all those basic restructures and extensions or extension for Trayvon Walker, you can get to about $30 million in cap space.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Right now the jack was about 10 million in the red.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You can get to about 30 million in cap space by executing some of those moves and look

  [SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, smart teams, teams that are willing to spend money should be factoring in year-over-year growth of the salary cap.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the jackwars spend about $20 million in cap space on these restructures with arms dead little luchin, Heinz Allen and Hamilton,

  [SPEAKER_00]: The cap is gonna rise like $20 million next year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, to me, smart, forththinking teams are factoring that end.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's giving themselves the best advantage and the jackwars there are no strangers to being able to spend money.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The jags, I think, should be trying to play the compensatory pick for me a little bit, unless they're just like, hey, we're going to bring that Devon Lloyd, and Buster Brown and Travis ETN, which they could do, they could absolutely figure that out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It'd be a lot of money to shell out for an off-ball linebacker, making him one of the highest paid players at his position.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis ETN could potentially be one of the higher played running backs in the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Depending on how that ends up going and then bust or brown not going to be one of the highest paid corners, but certainly should get paid like a starting corner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: None of those guys are back, which is a shame, but I think that that's very possible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tyler Higby, two years, six million dollars a year, he is up there in age, but he's a guy that has been around Liam Cohen, has been around James Gladstone, and I think that his blocking ability, receiving ability, complimenting, Britain's strange.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would not be necessarily done at the tight end position after

  [SPEAKER_00]: Johnny Munt, N.A.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you bring in Tyler, he could be a lot of familiarity there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not my first choice for agency market for tight end, but he's somebody who makes sense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Another player that makes sense, Russell Douglas.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has spent time with Jaguar's new past game coordinator on the even side of the ball, Matthew or Rujo.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's up there in age.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't had these big, big deals.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that a lot of the fact, a lot of what plays into Rassold Douglas, not getting big money, is that I think he is a pretty zone specific corner in the Jack Wars Arizona heavy defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Rassold Douglas, one year, four million dollars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Rassold White's another one where I think he's just going to be way cheaper.

  [SPEAKER_00]: than Travis ETN, but he does have a lot of experience or some experience with Liam Cohen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is a versatile back, he will block, he will catch passes, he will run effectively.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Bacial Tutton, who should be an explosive back for you, moving forward, getting somebody like Rashad White, who can be a special teams player, who can be valuable in a lot of ways that Lee Quint Allen is valuable, I think, make sense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They might not bring back her, or bring in another running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have tutin' an Allen and DJ Dallas.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't know, but I think we're shot white could definitely make sense for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then we've got Leo Chanel, linebacker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Based on all the projections, he's just not expected to make that much, but I don't understand why he's a damn good player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He blitzes at a high level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a good run defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he can do some of the things for you that Devin Lloyd did for you at a high level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so he makes sense for me as a young player who could be coming into his own and has the experience that you're looking for in the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: hasn't been a full-time player, but I think he's ascending for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then the final deal here is a deal that will not impact the compensatory pick formula.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And all those contracts that we signed were smaller deals that would not impact the Comp pick formula.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is the one player where you look in at the contracting like, oh, it could impact the compensatory pick formula, but he was released by his former team, the Miami Dolphins,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He does have experience with Jaguar's past game coordinator, Matthew Rujo, and Jaguar's defensive coordinator, Anthony Campanilei.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, Bradley Chub, two years, $13 million a year, $6 million cap hit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, all those moves and you still have a good amount of cap space left.

  [SPEAKER_00]: just solidifies your edge group in a big way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to still be attacking the defense of line in the draft, but as much as I love John Franklin Myers and some of the other guys, unless they are on cheaper deals, they are going to impact the comp pick formula.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I love taking a swing on Bradley Chub who has been healthy three of the last four years and has been very productive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a big physical player, but a good athlete and a good past Russia and a pretty complete edge defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jack Wars should be aggressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This offseason, I think they will be aggressive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This offseason, and trying to push for a 26 Super Bowl in Jacksonville, getting into the draft now that we've been talking for seven minutes,

  [SPEAKER_00]: Round two, 56 overall, first pick for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chris Johnson, the corner back out of San Diego State.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we brought back our soul Douglas on a cheap deal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We have Travis Hunter, we have Jerry and Jones, Jordan Lewis, Christian Braswell, back for another year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of those are short-term answers, out of the side of Travis Hunter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jarring Jones could be a long-term answer.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He should be around for at least two years, but Chris Johnson can come in and compete to get reps early on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's got pretty good size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he can compete early on for reps on the outside.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then he can basically be slotted in as a starter in year two.

  [SPEAKER_00]: a full-time starter go in that job in year two and twenty twenty seven at eighty one overall round three we go get another edge defender cure on Crawford out of Auburn transferred there I think that he's the type of guy that brings an edge to the defense of front and he's a great athlete plays with his hair on fire good run defender

  [SPEAKER_00]: uh... twitchy quick nimble type of player but again he's not afraid of that contact he's not afraid to get physical so uh... i like his game a lot i think that there is a lot of past rush juice and ability within him he's still developing more consistency as a past rusher but to get this level of potential and again

  [SPEAKER_00]: We set it all off season, just kind of an ask kicker in my mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Kira on Crawford, I think you can be that for you a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 88, we go defense once again, you know, the jack's offense, it's much more put together right now than the defenses.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But we go get Grayson Haltman, defensive lineman, interior defensive lineman, kind of three tech out of Oklahoma,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's insanely quick and explosive off the ball and sane athlete at the position, undersized a little bit, but he plays strong enough and physical enough against the run that I think you can get on board with adding him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not super dissimilar to Braden Fisk.

  [SPEAKER_00]: who the Rams drafted a couple of years ago, Liam, or excuse me, James Ladsdon was there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then at 100, Brian Parker, the tackle out of Duke who a lot of people project to be a center, but I think you can play guard as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So this is a guy that might have five positions flex for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that adding players like that could be what the Jaguars are looking to do.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Why'd receiver Reggie Virgil out of Texas tech?

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a type of guy that he's six, but three, one, 90, maybe a little under one, 90, think he weighed in less at the senior bowl, but he does not have the most, you know, filled out thick muscular frame, but he does have a catch radius.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jag wars could certainly use guys with catch radius, guys who are productive, strong hands,

  [SPEAKER_00]: can go up and get 50-50 balls, can create some separation as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Reggie Virgil would be a nice guy to bring in to compete as a wide receiver four slash five.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, I like that a lot right there and I told you it was not done at Tide End.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jack Wars could like them some Oscar delpe out of Georgia.

  [SPEAKER_00]: really good blocker talented athletic player who just has not been super productive at Georgia for whatever reason.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of tight ends, he kind of project them based more on their athleticism, their physical traits, and their production at the college level, and that works out for a lot of teams.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And again, he's got a baseline of blocking ability as well that you like.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he fits into that tight end room very well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are looking for guys that can be balanced, multiple tight ends.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you don't want just these slot receivers out there playing tight end.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 164, went and got Cage Casey at a Boise State.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So with Brian Parker and Cage Casey, you've got guys to build out for the future.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just think he's a fit to kind of similar to Grace and Houghton.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the Rams have shown that they don't need to always have a big, A-gap, one-tech defensive tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that taking a quarterback at some point could be in the cards for the jackwars They wouldn't got Carter Bradley, but I think that they could get someone that they might want to develop a little bit more At the back end of the draft and maybe bring in some competition as that scout team quarterback slash developmental quarterback Nick Mullins Nice guy to have around.
