  When we look back on our lives with the benefit of hindsight,

  we frequently can identify a change in direction that took an
• 0:11
  individual from a normal path of societal acceptance, career,
• 0:16
  marriage, family, social interactions, and entertainment

  to a life that is dedicated to some cause or purpose or inner
• 0:26
  growth. For some, this change comes
• 0:29
  somewhat naturally as they mature and reflect on what they
• 0:35
  are here on earth to do. They feel an inner dedication or
• 0:39
  mission, whether to solve some technical or societal issue, or
• 0:45
  to dedicate themselves to a life of service and caring for
• 0:48
  others, or possibly to some development of the body, or
• 0:54
  perhaps an artistic calling of some kind.

  Yet for many others, it is not so simple.

  There was a story of a young woman in Africa who came from a
• 1:06
  family of traditional healers, but who wanted to follow a
• 1:10
  different path in her life. Everything she tried fell apart,
• 1:15
  and she suffered from serious health issues of her own.

  Eventually she was told by an experienced healer that she
• 1:23
  would not find any fulfilment in any other career and her health
• 1:28
  would not improve until she finally accepted her calling as
• 1:34
  a traditional healer. She did that and her life turned
• 1:39
  around and her health improved. Her story is recounted in the
• 1:44
  book Called To Heal by Susan Schuster Campbell, who met with
• 1:50
  her and interviewed her as part of her own journey toward
• 1:53
  understanding the significance and meaning of her own life.

  Another individual reported undertaking a successful college
• 2:02
  course with the view to achieving a position of success
• 2:06
  in his society. After experiencing a near death
• 2:10
  experience, he became aware of yoga and another meaning to
• 2:15
  life, left all ideas of school and career aside, and took up
• 2:20
  study and practice of yoga. Another person, Danny and
• 2:26
  Brinkley, wrote in his book Saved by the Light that he was a
• 2:30
  trained military killer, a merciless individual who got
• 2:34
  paid to harm other people. At a certain point in life, he
• 2:39
  was actually physically struck by lightning and was declared
• 2:43
  clinically dead. He returned to life with a new
• 2:47
  understanding and a mission, and he left his past behind him to
• 2:52
  found an organization called Compassion in Action CIA, which
• 2:59
  trained people on how to provide caring and supporting Hospice
• 3:02
  care for people undergoing a transition out of their current
• 3:07
  life and body. Not every circumstance or life
• 3:11
  story is as traumatic as those recounted here, but the point is
• 3:15
  clear if one does not easily grow into the path and tries to
• 3:20
  look in other directions. The psychic being sometimes
• 3:24
  employs tough love to bring the individual to the right place in
• 3:30
  his or her life. A disciple asks, has the psychic
• 3:36
  any power? The mother writes power.
• 3:41
  It is usually the psychic which guides the being.
• 3:45
  One knows nothing about it because 1 is not conscious of
• 3:48
  it, but usually it is that which guides the being.
• 3:53
  If one is very attentive, one becomes aware of it.
• 3:57
  But the majority of men haven't the least idea of it.

  For instance, when they have decided in their outer ignorance
• 4:05
  to do something, and instead of their being able to do it, all
• 4:09
  the circumstances are so organized that they do something
• 4:13
  else. They start shouting, storming,
• 4:16
  flying into a Rage Against fate, saying that depends on what they
• 4:21
  believe, their beliefs that nature is wicked, or their
• 4:25
  destiny baleful, or God unjust, or no matter what.

  It depends on what they believe. Whilst most of the time it is
• 4:35
  just the very circumstance which was most favorable for their
• 4:39
  inner development. And naturally, if you ask the
• 4:43
  psychic to help you to fashion a pleasant life for yourself, to
• 4:47
  earn money, have children who will be the pride of the family,
• 4:51
  etcetera. Well, the psychic will not help
• 4:55
  you. But it will create for you all
• 4:58
  the circumstances necessary to awaken something in you so that
• 5:03
  the need of union with the Divine may be born in your
• 5:06
  consciousness. At times you have made fine
• 5:09
  plans and if they had succeeded you would have been more and
• 5:14
  more encrusted in your outer ignorance, your stupid little
• 5:18
  ambition and your aimless activity.

  Whilst if you receive a good shock and the post you coveted
• 5:27
  is denied to you, the plan you made is shattered and you find
• 5:32
  yourself completely thwarted. Then sometimes this opposition
• 5:38
  opens to you a door on something truer and deeper.

  And when you are a little awake and look back, if you are in the
• 5:47
  least sincere, you say, ah, it wasn't I who was right, it was
• 5:54
  nature or the divine grace or my psychic being who did it.

  It is the psychic being which organized that.
