- 0:00Speaker 1: Thanks that must go on the radio.
- 0:09Speaker 2: These are things that are bugging you, my dear dear
- 0:12friends of the program, Things that you can't take any more,
- 0:14things that you just want gone from your life, and
- 0:17so you send them to us radio from hell at
- 0:20X ninety six dot com. You put Musco in the
- 0:23subject line, and if we read yours on the air,
- 0:25maybe it'll make you feel better. Maybe these things will disappear,
- 0:30so Mustco. Who wants to go first, Gina?
- 0:33Speaker 3: Sure, in the spirit of Christmas, these are my Hallmark
- 0:37Christmas movie things that must go. This is from Jackie.
- 0:40All right, applause When people kiss, unless it's at a
- 0:45wedding or sometimes not even then, it's very weird. Characters
- 0:48getting angry for no reason, just so we have that
- 0:51usual Oh no, maybe this movie you won't have a
- 0:53happy ending I was expecting moment. I'm not saying they
- 0:56need to get rid of that moment, but it shouldn't
- 0:58be that hard to come up with a rational reason
- 1:00for it. Hallmark making fun of themselves in their movies
- 1:03by calling out their tropes. It's not fun for us
- 1:05to make fun of you. Let us do it. And
- 1:08feeling compelled to watch all thirty two new movies they
- 1:11crank out over three months because I don't want to
- 1:13miss out on the two that are actually pretty good.
- 1:15Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all, Jackie.
- 1:18Speaker 4: I'm glad I haven't fallen down that.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Hole going to a bar and ordering two beers. And
- 1:23then when they run your tab on that handheld device
- 1:26you know where you fill out and you tip it,
- 1:28and the first option for a tip is forty percent.
- 1:31You're clearly hoping people are tipsy and not paying attention
- 1:34and just hitting the forty.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Hey, that's Christmas. He's got to paying attention.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Mustco is my dad and stepdad thinking that just because
- 1:43I'm graduating with my bachelor's degree this week, I must
- 1:46be getting a very significant raise. It still doesn't even
- 1:50cover the rays and rent. And then finally this from
- 1:53Michael and Idaho Falls. What must go is the teacher
- 1:57and principal at my kids school who came up with
- 2:00theme week this week just before Christmas. Okay, I'll give
- 2:03you one day for a Christmas party maybe, but I'm
- 2:05not dressing up my kid as the Grinch on Monday
- 2:08stand on Tuesday, Elf on Wednesday. I'm stressed to the
- 2:11max this week with work in the holiday and just
- 2:13before vacation. Also, what must go is pajama day at school.
- 2:17My kids will never wear pjs in public as long
- 2:19as they're under my roof.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Thanks Michael, I'll go next. I got a couple of
- 2:25my own this phrase in radio commercials and TV commercials.
- 2:30We have prices too low to mension. That's the stupidest
- 2:34thing I ever heard anybody say. In and ad and
- 2:36also the guy who says, Hi, I'm so and so
- 2:39you know the guy in the orange sweater, No, I
- 2:42don't know. And you know what that woman for one
- 2:47car company Jan She's not famous. She is just not famous.
- 2:52Let's see this one. Let's see lords and lady, thank
- 2:55you for letting me listen. You may, you may say
- 2:58my name. Okay, let's what must go is having to
- 3:02repeat myself several times to the same question. Well, Leslie,
- 3:05I'm hard of hearing. Okay. I have a friend that
- 3:08will ask me a question and I'll answer. Two minutes later,
- 3:11they asked me the same question, and then once again
- 3:14a minute or so later. They clearly are hearing my answer,
- 3:19but they just don't digest the answer. It's not an
- 3:23unusual occurrence. Either they do it all the time, maybe
- 3:26there's something wrong with the person. This one says, my
- 3:30tire light ringing in my car, telling me my one
- 3:35tire is low on pressure, but the one I'm getting
- 3:37notified of has the highest and most normal pressure.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Come on car, go to big tires.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And then finally this one, This one puzzles me a bit.
- 3:50Good morning, Lords and lady. My thing that must go
- 3:52is losing my soul. Recently, I experienced a similar phenomenon
- 3:57as Bill. Now I don't remember saying that this has
- 4:01ever happened to me. My blood was drawn only to
- 4:04puff nothing, not a sign of red or anything. This
- 4:08was not the end, as I recall Bill encouraging or encountering,
- 4:12rather the same experience. Right after leaving the doctor's office,
- 4:15I went to the grocery store and I found myself
- 4:18standing in front of the automatic doors and they did
- 4:20not open. I stood there, dismayed, as a woman on
- 4:24the other side was saying, that's sure, wondering why I
- 4:27was standing on the opposite side looking stupid. She came
- 4:30up to the doors and they opened. I walked in
- 4:33as she was looking at me confused, and all I
- 4:35could say, was I believe I've lost my soul. Needless
- 4:39to say, wherever my soul is gone, I'd like it back.
- 4:43Thanks for letting me listen.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Okay, Kerry, let's see this one from the foot of
- 4:49Mount Doom. Things that must go. When it's the middle
- 4:53of the night and your dog's nose starts to whistle,
- 4:59Sure it's the door. Now, you can fix it your
- 5:01you know, if it's you, yeah, yeah, No, if it's dog,
- 5:03it's it's it's hard and hard to fix. And this
- 5:06one for me. Anyone who says, well that sounds like
- 5:11a first world problem, I have had it with that.
- 5:18Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:18Speaker 4: It's unoriginal, it's not funny, shut up.
- 5:22Speaker 3: And a problem is a problem.
- 5:23Speaker 4: A problem is a problem.
- 5:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Let's see this is from I'm not going to say
- 5:28that this person's name.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It said that I.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Could, but I'm not going to, just in case I'm
- 5:32the receptionist for the Division of air Quality. Things that
- 5:36must go are the conspiracy people that call me and
- 5:39yell at me because they think that the contrails aka
- 5:44Kem trails are the reason that we have the inversion
- 5:47and want to know what I'm going to do to
- 5:49stop them.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sorry you have to take those cars.
- 5:52Speaker 4: No, we don't get aversions every time you see con trails. No,
- 5:56the government is not spraying people with deadly chemicals. No,
- 5:59I do not have the authority to stop them. No,
- 6:02I don't care that you think the government is spraying
- 6:04on us.
- 6:05Speaker 1: No.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I don't know what Tennessee did to stop these planes
- 6:09from flying over their state. Why, because you are crazy.
- 6:12Put your tinfoil hat back on and climb into the
- 6:15dark hole of conspiracies, or move to Tennessee. Let's see
- 6:20this one. I listened to the podcast when Bill had
- 6:23a list of often mispronounced words, and I wish I
- 6:25could have called in Alzheimer's. There's no tea in there. No,
- 6:30so don't say Alzheimer's.
- 6:31Speaker 3: What I call it old timer's disease.
- 6:34Speaker 4: It's on the list here. Don't call it old timers
- 6:36or al Teimer's. It's all Sheimer's. Thank you for letting
- 6:40me listen. And this one from Zay, I seem to
- 6:45keep forgetting the email from us goes, what is the
- 6:47email from? Thanks? Sae? All right, doctor's not listening to
- 6:51patients on what's wrong with them or not caring what's
- 6:54wrong with them? Three my wife being in the hospital
- 6:57for almost two weeks. For Carrie for not playing that
- 7:00Christmas song every day, and Zane you didn't say which
- 7:03song it WI song we need, and people saying lords
- 7:07and Lady Gina and Katie and everyone else are the
- 7:10lords of morning radio.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Thank you. I've tried to point that out and I've
- 7:14just given up things that must go thank you
- 7:19Speaker 1: Thanks that must go on the radio.
