- 0:50Speaker 1: you want the juices good, the juices good.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Keep listening to me.
- 0:57Speaker 1: If you, if you want the.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Juices good, the juices good.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Juicy, juicy, juicy, juicy.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have such a
- 1:20Speaker 1: juicy interview with a real housewife, but first let's do
- 1:23Speaker 1: some hot topics and updates. First of all, I'm very
- 1:27Speaker 1: excited to announce that the movie Breeder, that my nephew
- 1:32Speaker 1: through marriage, Alex Goulet, He will be on Juicy Scoop
- 1:37Speaker 1: on Tuesday. We already did a juicy interview of how
- 1:39Speaker 1: this movie came about. It's so interesting. We just went
- 1:42Speaker 1: to a premiere of it, saw it in a real theater.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It is dark. It is dark humor. It is very surprising.
- 1:50Speaker 1: It's super juicy. It's out today. So if you're looking
- 1:53Speaker 1: for a movie, go see Breeder. And getting into movies,
- 1:59Speaker 1: there's some updates on the other biggest movie around, which
- 2:02Speaker 1: is You Can See Everything. And we talked about the
- 2:06Speaker 1: full frontal nudity, which, by the way, there's full frontal
- 2:09Speaker 1: male nudity in Breeder 2, pretty juicy, of Billy Evans,
- 2:14Speaker 1: the partner to Elizabeth Holmes. Well, now, according to a source,
- 2:17Speaker 1: he's saying he felt violated and he didn't want that. However,
- 2:21Speaker 1: Nathan Fielder's people are saying, or the other co-director, Lance Oppenheim,
- 2:25Speaker 1: says he said, hey, do you guys want to film
- 2:29Speaker 1: me showering? Maybe he only meant waist up. Maybe he
- 2:32Speaker 1: didn't make it clear that it would be full dickage.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Also, she is up to go to
- 2:40Speaker 1: a halfway house as early as August of 2027. But
- 2:44Speaker 1: then I believe she'd have to live in that halfway
- 2:46Speaker 1: house for like a few years. She's also up for clemency,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but that is not decided yet. She still owes $ 432
- 2:55Speaker 1: million to all these investors. But meanwhile, Billy Evans is
- 3:00Speaker 1: still working on that other blood project. that we see
- 3:05Speaker 1: in the movie. And reports are saying he's raised anywhere
- 3:08Speaker 1: from three to 18 million. So there's a discrepancy there,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but he's working on that in Austin. They talk on
- 3:14Speaker 1: the phone through prison about it. And what was also
- 3:18Speaker 1: really weird is these billboards in the movies that people
- 3:20Speaker 1: remembered seeing At least I remember seeing it all over
- 3:23Speaker 1: Los Angeles. And I was confused because I didn't know
- 3:26Speaker 1: if it was a movie about Elizabeth Holmes or what
- 3:29Speaker 1: it was. And it was this one guy was like
- 3:31Speaker 1: half of the screen and the other half was the
- 3:33Speaker 1: famous photo of her holding the one drop of blood
- 3:38Speaker 1: and going like this one drop and her hair up
- 3:42Speaker 1: and the black turtleneck and the big blue eyes and
- 3:43Speaker 1: the red lips. And In the movie, you don't understand
- 3:48Speaker 1: because then they go to like a play and there's
- 3:50Speaker 1: like a weird like small theater play where a girl
- 3:53Speaker 1: is playing her. And so I just saw a clip,
- 3:57Speaker 1: but NBC News gets a hold of that guy that
- 4:01Speaker 1: financed all of those billboards. And he insists that she
- 4:05Speaker 1: do the interview in his private plane. I'm more confused
- 4:11Speaker 1: by this than anything. He basically did it because he's like,
- 4:15Speaker 1: she's my sister. She's my friend. And the science works.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Follow the science. And it's kind of like what she
- 4:23Speaker 1: was saying in the movie, like, I don't know why
- 4:25Speaker 1: I would deceive you. It's always worked.
- 4:27Speaker 4: The science worked. It was the chemistry that wasn't working.
- 4:32Speaker 4: But the science of detecting the blood did work. It
- 4:36Speaker 4: just had to catch up with itself.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So I never.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I don't know what a lie is. What is a lie, actually?
- 4:45Speaker 1: So I'm still, I don't know who this guy is.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I don't know where he gets his money, why he
- 4:51Speaker 1: thinks that Billy Evans and Elizabeth Holmes are going to
- 4:53Speaker 1: be his best friends forever, what kind of stake he
- 4:56Speaker 1: has into it. I don't know if the billboards were $ 50, 000
- 4:59Speaker 1: a month or if he got a deal and they
- 5:00Speaker 1: weren't that much. I don't know, but it was weird
- 5:03Speaker 1: and I still don't have any answers. Okay, well, it's happened.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Lamar Odom... will be the first NBA player to join OnlyFans. Sadly,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I don't think he'll be the last. And it's like, oh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: thank God Chloe didn't have a kid with him. But
- 5:22Speaker 1: she did have kids with another NBA player who wasn't faithful.
- 5:28Speaker 1: And we never know. He might go on OnlyFans too.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You know, when you're a big guy with, I assume,
- 5:34Speaker 1: a big schlong, there's a market for that. And you're
- 5:37Speaker 1: also famous. And I guess the rehab situation in LA
- 5:42Speaker 1: isn't working out. There's a lot of things going on
- 5:45Speaker 1: with rehab sessions, places, and people are figuring out that
- 5:49Speaker 1: they're not as truthful as is being presented. So that's
- 5:53Speaker 1: what he was doing before. And now he's going to
- 5:57Speaker 1: set up a camera and you can be a member. Well,
- 6:02Speaker 1: reality TV baby news. Savannah Chrisley, who is the outspoken
- 6:06Speaker 1: daughter of of Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best. This
- 6:11Speaker 1: was a hit show on USA. It was a real family,
- 6:15Speaker 1: kind of a fake reality show, but a real family.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And Todd Chrisley always had all the zingers and he
- 6:20Speaker 1: was Southern and everyone thought he was gay, but he's
- 6:23Speaker 1: never come out as gay, though he had a wonderful
- 6:26Speaker 1: time in prison. And he went to prison because of
- 6:30Speaker 1: some major fraudulent stuff. that I can't explain right here.
- 6:35Speaker 1: But it was major fraudulent stuff. He and his wife
- 6:37Speaker 1: went to separate prisons. She, you know, they've been very
- 6:41Speaker 1: vocal about the poor treatment of prisoners. So that's one
- 6:45Speaker 1: good thing that, you know, they've made to light. He
- 6:48Speaker 1: eventually got out. I believe he was pardoned by Trump.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And she was very vocal in helping that happen, the
- 6:56Speaker 1: daughter Savannah. And I think there's one daughter they don't
- 7:00Speaker 1: talk to, but they have a podcast. And Todd is
- 7:04Speaker 1: as outspoken as ever. And, you know, he recently went
- 7:08Speaker 1: off and was like, oh, my God, these heifers that
- 7:12Speaker 1: are talking about my beautiful granddaughter, who has a black mother,
- 7:17Speaker 1: he's like, I will tell you right now, how dare
- 7:20Speaker 1: you talk about my granddaughter when you heifers, I was
- 7:24Speaker 1: knuckles deep in you in high school. So, I mean,
- 7:28Speaker 1: he's an entertaining guy. To add to the entertainment. Savannah
- 7:32Speaker 1: Chrisley is pregnant with this 56 year old guy and
- 7:38Speaker 1: his name is Jason Galanis. He happened to be in
- 7:43Speaker 1: the same prison with Todd Chrisley at the same time.
- 7:45Speaker 1: He's just one year younger than Todd. And Forbes once
- 7:49Speaker 1: dubbed him porn's new king because he was the processor
- 7:54Speaker 1: of the payments of porn. I don't know why he
- 7:56Speaker 1: went to prison. He's out. He's free. They're all one
- 8:00Speaker 1: big happy family. And I think they'll be back on TV. Okay.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Little update on what I talked about the last show
- 8:11Speaker 1: of the cheating scandal of this podcast called H3. So
- 8:19Speaker 1: we know now why they call it H3. Hila is
- 8:23Speaker 1: the scorned wife who Ethan cheated on. So H is
- 8:27Speaker 1: for her and three is her initial E backwards.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:30Speaker 1: We figured that out. He cheated for six months. She
- 8:34Speaker 1: made an announcement. The show is off the air. We
- 8:37Speaker 1: don't know when it'll ever come back, if at all.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And everyone is speculating. It's this girl that was a
- 8:43Speaker 1: fan who worked for them. And I've seen photos of
- 8:48Speaker 1: her and it's not what you would think. But you
- 8:51Speaker 1: know what? That's not why people cheat. They cheat because
- 8:54Speaker 1: of ego. And she clearly was a fan and she
- 8:57Speaker 1: fed his ego and he wanted that. I also found
- 8:59Speaker 1: out that Ethan lost like over 100 pounds. We know
- 9:04Speaker 1: what happens, especially with a man that was once fat,
- 9:08Speaker 1: now not, and ready to cheat on his wife. So meanwhile,
- 9:13Speaker 1: I got a little more information. Trisha Paytas now has
- 9:15Speaker 1: spoken on it. So Trisha Paytas, who is a huge
- 9:17Speaker 1: YouTube personality, She was his co-host on a show called
- 9:21Speaker 1: Frenemies and they were very, very popular and they had
- 9:25Speaker 1: a big fight and falling out over profits of the
- 9:29Speaker 1: show and she wanted to hire her own staff and
- 9:33Speaker 1: he didn't want that. So then the crew hated her
- 9:36Speaker 1: and then she also thought there was some segment about
- 9:40Speaker 1: let's give fans advice. She thought that was lazy. So
- 9:42Speaker 1: then the fans hated her and then they ended the show.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And then for five years, she got fan and backlash,
- 9:50Speaker 1: like haunting her social media for five years. And it
- 9:55Speaker 1: was also bad because she is married to a guy
- 9:58Speaker 1: named Moses and Moses is the brother to Hilla. And
- 10:03Speaker 1: so they're, they haven't talked in five years, but she
- 10:06Speaker 1: has spoken and said, I'm actually relieved that the H3
- 10:10Speaker 1: show is over with. My Maybe now they can be
- 10:17Speaker 1: brother and sister again now that she's leaving awful Ethan
- 10:21Speaker 1: because her kids are all the same age and maybe
- 10:23Speaker 1: they can be friends. But I thought it was really
- 10:26Speaker 1: interesting how, again, whether you know about the show or not,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I just think in this parasocial world, especially with podcasting,
- 10:33Speaker 1: how passionate fans get. And then also when you work
- 10:37Speaker 1: with your spouse or work with extended family, how, or
- 10:41Speaker 1: even a best friend, like a call you to call
- 10:43Speaker 1: her daddy, how interesting, There's so many stories of the
- 10:48Speaker 1: podcast breakup, you know? Also, Camille Grammer called out Kelsey Grammer.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Over the weekend, she did a post and said, you
- 11:00Speaker 1: can be a beloved actor to the world, but being
- 11:02Speaker 1: a father is a role that requires showing up when
- 11:05Speaker 1: the cameras are off. Fame, accolades, and public admiration mean
- 11:08Speaker 1: very little if you neglect the people. So her daughter,
- 11:12Speaker 1: it was her 25th birthday. And she did a post
- 11:16Speaker 1: letting the world know that Kelsey Grammer failed to call
- 11:19Speaker 1: her daughter for three days. It had been three days
- 11:23Speaker 1: and he forgot about her birthday, failed to call it.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Now her daughter is supposed to be in next gen
- 11:31Speaker 1: LA with Heather Dubrow's son and some other stars kids.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And that was not mentioned at FanFest for Bravo's lineup.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So we don't know if it's put on hold or
- 11:42Speaker 1: if they want to redo it or if it just
- 11:44Speaker 1: wasn't that strong. We don't know. But there is this
- 11:48Speaker 1: other thing that's kind of weird. Craig, who is a
- 11:52Speaker 1: very good looking guy, is doing a micro drama on
- 11:55Speaker 1: Peacock where he plays a mute. And I don't know
- 12:01Speaker 1: what this is, but I don't know. I think it's weird.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I think the poster's weird. And I think that Paige
- 12:08Speaker 1: must be laughing about it with all of her success.
- 12:11Speaker 1: But you know what? It's still very successful. It's just
- 12:14Speaker 1: kind of ironic and funny that he's doing this weird
- 12:17Speaker 1: thing and that he's a mute. So I guess he
- 12:19Speaker 1: doesn't have to really act. Another little update on Chrishell
- 12:23Speaker 1: Strauss of Selling Sunset and G Flip. So their breakup.
- 12:29Speaker 1: They had so many engagements, so many photo shoots, so
- 12:33Speaker 1: many weddings, so many vow renewals, so many photo opportunities,
- 12:39Speaker 1: getting dressed up where she's leaning in a sexy dress
- 12:43Speaker 1: and G Flip is dressed in a manly tux. And
- 12:46Speaker 1: then there's another one where she's dressed as the man
- 12:49Speaker 1: and G Flip is dressed. I don't know. They did
- 12:52Speaker 1: so much. Turns out they were never really married. They
- 12:54Speaker 1: were never legally married. I don't know. I don't think Chrishell,
- 13:00Speaker 1: a lot of people are saying she does a lot
- 13:02Speaker 1: for publicity. I'm not saying she didn't love G Flip
- 13:04Speaker 1: or whatever, but there's nothing more annoying than a million
- 13:09Speaker 1: engagement parties and vow renewals and things like that, only
- 13:12Speaker 1: to find out that you're broken up and that you
- 13:15Speaker 1: were never legally married. So there you go. Also, speaking
- 13:19Speaker 1: of lesbians, the lesbian bar that we talked about in
- 13:22Speaker 1: Boston that was suffering because they decided we're going to
- 13:26Speaker 1: have one night where you don't have to wear a
- 13:32Speaker 1: N9 mask in 2026. I know this will be shocking
- 13:38Speaker 1: to you, but the business has to close. They tried
- 13:41Speaker 1: and they tried. They lived in their vans. They wrote
- 13:45Speaker 1: back each nasty comment. They begged for help and they
- 13:52Speaker 1: called people ableist that didn't want to wear a mask.
- 13:55Speaker 1: And in the end, they are selling the business. Also
- 14:01Speaker 1: the Alexander brothers, I talk about it on Juicy Crimes.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It's available right now. Please subscribe. We get into really
- 14:08Speaker 1: what that case was about along with a couple other
- 14:10Speaker 1: hot cases. And they did, the three brothers got 30
- 14:14Speaker 1: years each. So thank God for that. Finally, some justice
- 14:19Speaker 1: was done and Kylie is smoking. Yes. People sent this
- 14:24Speaker 1: to me. She has a clothing line And she wrote
- 14:28Speaker 1: something about LA at night that I've always loved. The lights,
- 14:31Speaker 1: the energy, and the way the city feels after dark.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Wanted to bring that feeling. And she's got a cigarette.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Everyone's like, I love smoking. Cigarettes are in. And everybody's like,
- 14:41Speaker 1: Heather said it. Heather predicted it. I told you cigarettes
- 14:44Speaker 1: would come back in. I told you it would be
- 14:46Speaker 1: a flex to say, I don't care that smoking's bad
- 14:50Speaker 1: for my body and will give me lines around my
- 14:52Speaker 1: mouth and make my teeth yellow because I'm so fucking rich.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I can get plastic surgery and new teeth and probably
- 14:59Speaker 1: eventually buy a new lung. Probably we'll be able to
- 15:03Speaker 1: do that. So I can also spend, you know, 20
- 15:05Speaker 1: bucks on a box of cigarettes. So it is coming back.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And you know what? Chris loves a cigarette too, her mother.
- 15:12Speaker 1: And so does Caitlin. Okay. That's back in the day.
- 15:17Speaker 1: I caught, they enjoyed smoking at parties. So it's, it's okay.
- 15:21Speaker 1: A lot of people like to sneak a cig. with
- 15:25Speaker 1: a martini in LA, but just beware. And also give
- 15:30Speaker 1: me acknowledgement that I predicted this trend. Okay. Also Noah
- 15:35Speaker 1: Wiley is crowned the people's sexiest man alive. And TMZ
- 15:40Speaker 1: did such an unflattering photo. I mean, he is an
- 15:43Speaker 1: older guy. He is a good looking guy, but they
- 15:45Speaker 1: chose a photo with like extreme bloodshot eyes and the
- 15:50Speaker 1: comments are ruthless. And it's true. If they did that
- 15:54Speaker 1: about a woman who is not conventionally beautiful as the
- 15:57Speaker 1: most beautiful woman, which they probably have. It's just a magazine.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's run by publicists. It's a very strategic thing, who
- 16:04Speaker 1: they choose. Nobody went and voted like you would, you know,
- 16:08Speaker 1: for a politician or whatever. But not as, he wouldn't
- 16:13Speaker 1: be my choice. Let's just say that. Fine looking guy.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Wouldn't ignore him at a bar if I was single.
- 16:19Speaker 1: But I don't know about the world's sexiest man. Maxing
- 16:24Speaker 1: is the word of the year. So I'm going to
- 16:27Speaker 1: Juicy Scoop Maxing. I'm Juicy Scoop Maxing this episode because
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm going to bless you with a great interview with
- 16:34Speaker 1: Jessel from Real Housewives of New York City. If you
- 16:38Speaker 1: are not familiar with her or this show, it is
- 16:40Speaker 1: a really juicy interview about rumors that have been said,
- 16:43Speaker 1: how she's handled it from her husband being accused of
- 16:47Speaker 1: being gay on the show, how she got the start
- 16:50Speaker 1: on the show. her relationships with the other girls, the fans.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And I thought it was great interview. I think you'll
- 16:57Speaker 1: really find it interesting. One more time, you guys, get
- 16:59Speaker 1: your tickets at heathermcdoll.net for my show on November 14th
- 17:03Speaker 1: in San Diego with the hilarious Chris Fangiola. That's at heathermcdoll.net.
- 17:07Speaker 1: And now for our interview with Jessel. This episode of

- 17:20Speaker 1: like in a department store and I look at what
- 17:22Speaker 1: once was my favorite brand and the quality is just
- 17:25Speaker 1: not there anymore. Like, where's the lining? Are you kidding me?
- 17:28Speaker 1: Like you're touching it and you're, what's happening here? What
- 17:31Speaker 1: I love about Quince is that the quality is there
- 17:35Speaker 1: for so much less. And I mean, there are 100%

- 17:44Speaker 1: they last because the quality is so good. My silk
- 17:48Speaker 1: blouses that I get from them, silk dresses, the linens,
- 17:51Speaker 1: the denim, all of it has lasted for several years.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I love getting a new item and utilizing it. I
- 17:59Speaker 1: just love going to their site and just seeing what's
- 18:02Speaker 1: new and knowing that when it comes, it feels great,

- 21:44Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I'm very excited to
- 21:47Speaker 1: talk to Real Housewives of New York star Jessel. Welcome
- 21:52Speaker 1: for the first time to Juicy Scoop. Thanks for doing this.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Hi, Heather. Thanks so much for having me. You look fabulous.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Thank you. So do you. Well, you know, I'm up
- 22:01Speaker 1: on the show. I'm watching the show. this is your
- 22:05Speaker 1: third season, correct?
- 22:07Speaker 3: It's my third season on Roni. That's right.
- 22:11Speaker 1: And, you know, for, for people just to catch up
- 22:14Speaker 1: a little bit, you were born in London.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I was born in London.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:18Speaker 5: I was born in the suburbs, um, just Northwest of London, um,
- 22:24Speaker 5: in a small town called Pinner, um, which is like very,
- 22:28Speaker 5: it's very chic.
- 22:29Speaker 3: It's very cute.
- 22:30Speaker 5: It's, uh, It's like one of those cobblestone type quintessential
- 22:34Speaker 5: British towns.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Very cool.
- 22:37Speaker 5: And yeah, I grew up there. I went to school there.
- 22:41Speaker 5: And then I moved to New York right after college.
- 22:44Speaker 1: And your family is Indian. You are the first real
- 22:47Speaker 1: housewife who is Indian, which is great. Would you describe
- 22:52Speaker 1: your childhood? In all honesty, were you upper middle class,
- 22:56Speaker 1: very privileged? Like, what would you say that was like?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Say we were middle class. You know, my parents both worked.
- 23:06Speaker 5: My dad was an accountant and my mom was a
- 23:10Speaker 5: social worker. So, yeah, it's funny because I got a
- 23:15Speaker 5: lot of stick in my first season of for like
- 23:19Speaker 5: lying about my background or how I grew up, which
- 23:22Speaker 5: was very interesting because, I mean, no one really knew
- 23:26Speaker 5: how I grew up except for me.
- 23:27Speaker 3: But yeah, I would say, I mean, we were comfortable.
- 23:30Speaker 5: There wasn't like, you know, it wasn't very glamorous or
- 23:35Speaker 5: anything like that. But we, my parents worked really hard
- 23:38Speaker 5: to make sure my brother and I were well looked after.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I think nowadays when we meet new
- 23:45Speaker 1: housewives and it's so different than it was 10 years
- 23:49Speaker 1: ago with social media and how much commentary is about
- 23:52Speaker 1: your life and how much someone can find out about
- 23:54Speaker 1: your life. And then we complain as viewers, we don't
- 23:57Speaker 1: know anything about you. And you're like... Well, you know,
- 24:01Speaker 1: if you're do you really it wouldn't be interesting if
- 24:04Speaker 1: it was all laid out the first, you know, hour
- 24:07Speaker 1: of the show. So I think that's where people are
- 24:10Speaker 1: kind of like, oh, what's going on here? I like
- 24:12Speaker 1: her this season. I don't like her. Oh, now I
- 24:14Speaker 1: get it. Um, so you come to New York, you
- 24:18Speaker 1: had a career in fashion and PR and how did
- 24:22Speaker 1: being on the housewives come about? Like, were you a
- 24:26Speaker 1: fan of, first of all, I always ask everyone this,
- 24:28Speaker 1: were you a fan of it? Did you watch it?
- 24:30Speaker 1: What was your relationship with just reality TV in general?
- 24:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Um, no, I mean, no, growing up in London, um,
- 24:38Speaker 5: it wasn't a thing. I know it's such a big
- 24:41Speaker 5: popular culture, sort of like cultural zeitgeist in the US.
- 24:45Speaker 5: You know, it's like people grew up watching Housewives. That
- 24:48Speaker 5: wasn't my upbringing. We didn't, I don't even know if
- 24:52Speaker 5: we had like access to it growing up. But I
- 24:55Speaker 5: was very much into like British television. I would watch
- 24:58Speaker 5: a lot of soap operas that were British. A lot
- 25:01Speaker 5: of Australian soap operas as well. It was interesting what
- 25:06Speaker 5: I consumed growing up.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I used to watch a lot of MTV. And in
- 25:12Speaker 3: terms of.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Reality, it was like more Big Brother, like that type
- 25:17Speaker 5: of reality. Love Island UK was a massive one. But
- 25:21Speaker 5: I didn't really watch a lot of American reality shows.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I think like a lot of times, you know, with housewives,
- 25:29Speaker 1: because I've interviewed so many of them, even if they
- 25:32Speaker 1: never pursued acting, they weren't even a lead in a
- 25:36Speaker 1: high school play. They kind of have this thing where
- 25:39Speaker 1: they reflect back and they're like, but I always knew
- 25:41Speaker 1: I'd be famous. Or I always thought, huh, I could
- 25:43Speaker 1: do reality TV or this would be fun for me. Or,
- 25:47Speaker 1: you know, I would like to be an actress. Did
- 25:49Speaker 1: you have aspirations to be on TV or in the
- 25:52Speaker 1: public light?
- 25:54Speaker 5: No, I mean, as a publicist, I was always behind
- 25:57Speaker 5: the scenes. So that was never something that, you know,
- 26:01Speaker 5: attracted me. Listen, did I think I had like an
- 26:04Speaker 5: outlandish personality? And am I super fun? And do I
- 26:07Speaker 5: love to socialize and hang out with people? And, you know,
- 26:11Speaker 5: I have a very energetic sort of like aura. Which
- 26:15Speaker 5: in hindsight, like, yes, does feed into being, you know,
- 26:19Speaker 5: a success on reality television. But it was never something
- 26:22Speaker 5: that I premeditated or even thought about. I, you know,
- 26:28Speaker 5: wanted so badly to understand the inner workings of the
- 26:31Speaker 5: fashion industry, which is why I moved to New York.
- 26:34Speaker 5: And as a publicist, you know, I was really helping
- 26:37Speaker 5: brands behind the scenes for more of like a business
- 26:41Speaker 5: brand growth, like sort of standpoint. I was never, you know,
- 26:46Speaker 5: I was never in front of the cameras. So to
- 26:50Speaker 5: answer your question, like, no, I don't think I could
- 26:53Speaker 5: act by the way. I think I would be terrible
- 26:56Speaker 5: at it. It was never something where I was like,
- 26:59Speaker 5: I want to be in the spotlight or I'm like
- 27:01Speaker 5: a you know, a Disney sweetheart where like all those
- 27:05Speaker 5: kids who model is like, you know, there's, there was
- 27:07Speaker 5: none of that for me.
- 27:09Speaker 1: So you're living your life, a little background. You met
- 27:14Speaker 1: your husband at a bar, Pavit, and were you dating
- 27:19Speaker 1: Indian guys prior to him? Was that something that like
- 27:22Speaker 1: your family, that was what you were attracted to, or
- 27:25Speaker 1: that's what you were dating? Or did you have a
- 27:27Speaker 1: variety of different guys prior to him?
- 27:30Speaker 3: Heather, you go straight to the scoop, my love.
- 27:32Speaker 6: I get why it's called Juicy Scoop. I, yeah, it
- 27:38Speaker 6: was always, I think, obviously growing up in a Thai
- 27:42Speaker 6: Indian household and my family are very close.
- 27:45Speaker 5: Like, I think for us, you know, marrying or dating
- 27:49Speaker 5: other Indians was kind of what you do.
- 27:52Speaker 2: And I....
- 27:55Speaker 3: I love to explore different cultures.
- 27:57Speaker 5: I mean, honestly, like I was never like, oh, I
- 27:59Speaker 5: only want to marry Indian or I only want to
- 28:02Speaker 5: date a certain kind of person. I think for me,
- 28:05Speaker 5: it was like, you know, how do they dress? What's
- 28:08Speaker 5: their personality like? Like, you know, if they were... black, white.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I mean, I didn't look at it like that.
- 28:15Speaker 5: But for whatever reason, when I moved to New York,
- 28:18Speaker 5: I did tend to gravitate towards a lot of Indian
- 28:21Speaker 5: men to start. Maybe it's because they like kind of
- 28:26Speaker 5: hit on me versus.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Me hitting on them.
- 28:29Speaker 5: But yeah, it wasn't something that I was like, I
- 28:33Speaker 5: have to marry an Indian guy. In fact, I dated
- 28:36Speaker 5: a non-Indian for... almost like a year before meeting Puppet.
- 28:43Speaker 1: And when you were dating that guy, was that, did
- 28:46Speaker 1: you share it with your family? Were they kind of like, hmm, because,
- 28:49Speaker 1: you know, not only is their arranged marriage still going on,
- 28:53Speaker 1: which I don't necessarily think is a bad thing, you
- 28:55Speaker 1: know what I mean? Especially with these kids that aren't
- 28:57Speaker 1: getting out of the house and not dating them. Like,
- 28:59Speaker 1: find me a wife now, it might be okay. Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 1: But was that ever an issue during that year?
- 29:07Speaker 5: My parents, you know, definitely had expectations. I, you know,
- 29:14Speaker 5: wouldn't really share much of my personal life with them
- 29:18Speaker 5: just because I felt like unless it was like super
- 29:21Speaker 5: serious and it was going to lead to something, there's
- 29:25Speaker 5: no point in ruffling any feathers or trying to get
- 29:28Speaker 5: them worked up for no reason. So I actually didn't
- 29:30Speaker 5: introduce them to any of my boyfriends except for Puvit. So,
- 29:36Speaker 5: and that was, you know, after we had been dating
- 29:40Speaker 5: for almost like a.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Year and a half.
- 29:42Speaker 5: And it was to the point where I knew that
- 29:45Speaker 5: we were going to get engaged. So we went to London.
- 29:48Speaker 5: He met my parents for the first time. Well, he
- 29:50Speaker 5: met my dad for the first time.
- 29:52Speaker 1: So, I mean, your story is like out of sort
- 29:54Speaker 1: of like a rom-com story in that you're like, you're
- 29:57Speaker 1: friends first and you need a roommate. So you're living
- 30:01Speaker 1: in an apartment and he's like in the hall across
- 30:03Speaker 1: from you and you're just platonic roommates splitting the rent.
- 30:06Speaker 1: How did that work?
- 30:08Speaker 3: I mean, literally that.
- 30:09Speaker 5: So Pavit was living in Murray Hill. He was getting
- 30:14Speaker 5: evicted because he was throwing a lot of parties. And
- 30:17Speaker 5: at this point, we were really close as friends. And
- 30:21Speaker 5: it was completely platonic. I was living with family and
- 30:26Speaker 5: it was my time to get my own place. And
- 30:28Speaker 5: so we were both at the same time looking. And
- 30:31Speaker 5: then one, I think it was like over dinner or
- 30:34Speaker 5: a drink or something. I was like, wait, this doesn't
- 30:36Speaker 5: make any sense. You're looking for a place. I'm looking
- 30:38Speaker 5: for a place. Why would we not look together? And so,
- 30:42Speaker 5: because I prefer to live with someone I knew as
- 30:45Speaker 5: opposed to get a roommate who's going to end up
- 30:47Speaker 5: being a lunatic because that's just what the temperature was
- 30:50Speaker 5: at that time in New York. Do you remember Craigslist?
- 30:53Speaker 5: You would find people on Craigslist.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Yes.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 5: So, and I had met like a number of people
- 30:58Speaker 5: at this point and didn't vibe with anyone. So we
- 31:03Speaker 5: decided to look together and we ended up getting a
- 31:05Speaker 5: place in Hell's Kitchen on 42nd and 10th. He had
- 31:10Speaker 5: his own room. I had my own room and we
- 31:12Speaker 5: actually had a third roommate. So it was like one
- 31:14Speaker 5: big happy family.
- 31:16Speaker 1: So when did it turn to not just roommates?
- 31:21Speaker 3: So that's a funny story.
- 31:23Speaker 5: I was working at Michael Kors at the time and
- 31:27Speaker 5: it was Fashion Week and my mom had come to visit. And,
- 31:30Speaker 5: you know, Fashion Week is a really busy time in
- 31:33Speaker 5: New York. It's like a lot of long days, long nights, events.
- 31:37Speaker 5: I mean, it was very busy. And Povit was at home.
- 31:42Speaker 5: He was studying for his MBA. And my mom sort
- 31:45Speaker 5: of like found herself being alone because just because I
- 31:48Speaker 5: wasn't there to like, you know, host her. So he
- 31:52Speaker 5: took my mom under his wing. He would go shopping
- 31:55Speaker 5: with her. He took her for lunch. He would like
- 31:57Speaker 5: do dinner together with her. And at the end of
- 32:02Speaker 5: that trip, I was taking her to the airport and
- 32:05Speaker 5: she just looked at me and was.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Like, are you okay?
- 32:07Speaker 5: Like you have this incredible person that clearly cares about
- 32:12Speaker 5: you and you don't find him like attractive or you're
- 32:16Speaker 5: not interested in pursuing anything. a light bulb went off
- 32:19Speaker 5: in my head because I just had never thought of
- 32:21Speaker 5: him like that. Like we had gotten, like we had
- 32:25Speaker 5: friend zoned each other. And so, you know, when she
- 32:29Speaker 5: put that little nugget in my head, I was like, oh,
- 32:32Speaker 5: he's six foot three. He's really good looking. He's a
- 32:35Speaker 5: great guy. He's so wholesome. And I just never entertained
- 32:41Speaker 5: that we would ever or should ever date. So I
- 32:44Speaker 5: asked him out on a date like that week and
- 32:47Speaker 5: we grabbed dinner.
- 32:48Speaker 3: And the rest was history.
- 32:50Speaker 1: And so then it was just like he leaned over
- 32:52Speaker 1: and kissed you like during the dinner and it was on?
- 32:57Speaker 1: It was.
- 32:58Speaker 5: I wish it was that smooth. I mean, we talked
- 33:02Speaker 5: a lot at that dinner. I was like, you know,
- 33:04Speaker 5: I told him what my mom has said, actually. And
- 33:07Speaker 5: I was like, I've never really like thought about this.
- 33:10Speaker 5: But like, you know, I don't know what it would
- 33:13Speaker 5: feel like to date you, but I would like to
- 33:15Speaker 5: kind of give it a shot. I mean, Puppet is
- 33:19Speaker 5: the most awkward I'm sure you know from the show.
- 33:21Speaker 5: He's not the type of guy that like makes moves
- 33:24Speaker 5: on chicks. You know, he doesn't really like flirt. He's
- 33:27Speaker 5: someone that is just like kind of minds his own business.
- 33:32Speaker 3: And it was just... I remember it being like.
- 33:34Speaker 5: A very, like he was almost taken aback that this
- 33:37Speaker 5: is the stuff that I was even like suggesting. But
- 33:40Speaker 5: then we left the restaurant. I remember the exact, we
- 33:42Speaker 5: went to get sushi on Second Avenue. It's a place
- 33:46Speaker 5: that actually is closed down now. It's called Aquamarine. And
- 33:50Speaker 5: we walked out the restaurant and he like held my
- 33:53Speaker 5: hand at the restaurant.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I was like, oh my God, this is so weird.
- 33:56Speaker 3: And then we kissed like walking out.
- 33:58Speaker 5: And it just, to me, it just felt like, natural
- 34:01Speaker 5: as if it was supposed to be the next step
- 34:04Speaker 5: in our relationship.
- 34:06Speaker 1: And did you guys, well, it's kind of fun because
- 34:09Speaker 1: your mom and your parents didn't do an arranged marriage,
- 34:12Speaker 1: but essentially she arranged marriage. So it's like arranged marriage life.
- 34:17Speaker 5: I've never thought of it that way, but she would
- 34:19Speaker 5: be so thrilled to hear you say that because, you know, it's,
- 34:24Speaker 5: Of course, it's every parent's like dream to see your daughter, like,
- 34:28Speaker 5: you know, be happy and marry into a good family.
- 34:31Speaker 3: And, you know, he's a really stand up guy.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Like there is with Puppet, it's like what you see
- 34:38Speaker 5: is what you get. There's really no, you know, I
- 34:41Speaker 5: beg him to go out with his friends because I'm
- 34:43Speaker 5: just like, go and have fun. Like, you know, he's
- 34:46Speaker 5: a great dad. He prefers to stay home with his kids.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Like he's a really wholesome person. So he's every parent's dream,
- 34:53Speaker 3: I would say.
- 34:54Speaker 1: So you guys have five-year-old twin boys, which must be
- 34:59Speaker 1: very busy. I feel like, will we see them at
- 35:02Speaker 1: all this season? I feel like we're not seeing them,
- 35:04Speaker 1: but maybe that just has not been in the episodes yet.
- 35:08Speaker 3: I hope so.
- 35:08Speaker 5: We filmed some really fun stuff with them. They're so sassy. And,
- 35:13Speaker 5: you know, they really have personalities now. I think when
- 35:16Speaker 5: you guys first met them, they were just over one
- 35:19Speaker 5: year old, which is crazy.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Which is a crazy hard time. I mean, like, I
- 35:23Speaker 1: have boys who are not twins. I always thought, like, gosh,
- 35:26Speaker 1: two boys at the same time. Now it'll get easier.
- 35:29Speaker 1: They have each other and they get older. It's actually
- 35:32Speaker 1: going to probably be easier that they're twins and not, like...
- 35:35Speaker 1: two years apart, but when they're babies, I imagine that
- 35:39Speaker 1: could be been really overwhelming. And we saw it and
- 35:42Speaker 1: you were honest about it and you discussed, so you
- 35:47Speaker 1: went through fertility to have the twins. Yeah. And then
- 35:51Speaker 1: discussing if you want to have one more and he
- 35:55Speaker 1: was felt that your family was complete. Is that still
- 35:59Speaker 1: a discussion or is it, it can be on the
- 36:01Speaker 1: back burner because there's an embryo, but where are you
- 36:04Speaker 1: with that?
- 36:05Speaker 5: You know, when you start paying tuition for schools and
- 36:10Speaker 5: you have two of them at the same time, it
- 36:12Speaker 5: really puts things into perspective because, you know, it's very,
- 36:17Speaker 5: very expensive to have twins.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I mean, everything is double, literally.
- 36:22Speaker 5: And I think that the finances aside, like, we are
- 36:27Speaker 5: just so overwhelmed. You know, it's they're still young and
- 36:32Speaker 5: there's two of them. And, you know, there's really no,
- 36:35Speaker 5: I don't see the light at the end of the
- 36:37Speaker 5: tunnel still with this age. Everyone keeps telling me like, oh,
- 36:42Speaker 5: wait until they're seven. Well, wait until they're 10. I
- 36:45Speaker 5: just feel like, you know, as boys or as you
- 36:48Speaker 5: all know, it's so, there's so much energy and they're
- 36:51Speaker 5: so like, you know, it's.
- 36:53Speaker 3: A lot of work.
- 36:54Speaker 5: So to answer your question, I don't think I could
- 36:58Speaker 5: do another.
- 36:58Speaker 3: I think I would, I think I would like, be
- 37:01Speaker 3: a corpse at the end of it.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I mean, I think the other thing that not enough
- 37:05Speaker 1: people are honest in talking about is when you're debating
- 37:09Speaker 1: having that second or third or whatever, and as your
- 37:14Speaker 1: older kids get older, you know, psychologists or whatever in psychology,
- 37:20Speaker 1: they say if there's more than six years apart, you're
- 37:24Speaker 1: really having the experience of being raised as like an
- 37:26Speaker 1: only child. they're really not having that sibling thing. And
- 37:30Speaker 1: you already have the sibling thing with the twins. And
- 37:33Speaker 1: also in your case, you'd be choosing to have the
- 37:37Speaker 1: embryo implanted. It's not like you roll over one night
- 37:40Speaker 1: and there's a whoopsie and you're like, oh, okay, this
- 37:43Speaker 1: was meant to be. When you really have the choice
- 37:46Speaker 1: in that case because of fertility, I think, yeah, as
- 37:50Speaker 1: more time passes and your life becomes more It's like, oh,
- 37:54Speaker 1: my God, to start all over. And now it's like
- 37:57Speaker 1: you go on trips. The boys have each other. You
- 37:59Speaker 1: don't have to invite a friend. They can share a room.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Like there's a lot that happens when you go from
- 38:04Speaker 1: four to five. And especially if that fifth one is
- 38:07Speaker 1: a different sex. And so it's like, I think you
- 38:10Speaker 1: made the right decision. But I like that you had
- 38:14Speaker 1: that conversation because I think it's a very relatable thing
- 38:17Speaker 1: to anybody of like, do we roll the dice once more?
- 38:20Speaker 1: We already are so blessed to have two healthy kids. Like,
- 38:23Speaker 1: what if, you know, and I think that's like a
- 38:26Speaker 1: fair conversation. And I'm sure you got people in the
- 38:30Speaker 1: comments saying, giving their opinion, which is what you want.
- 38:34Speaker 1: By being on a reality show, you need people talking
- 38:37Speaker 1: about it, but it must be quite annoying at the
- 38:39Speaker 1: same time.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I feel like, you know, when it
- 38:43Speaker 5: came to the fertility and growing our family, I mean,
- 38:46Speaker 5: people were really understanding and sympathetic and empathetic to the situation.
- 38:51Speaker 5: I don't recall anyone ever sort of saying anything that
- 38:56Speaker 5: was judgmental or negative. I think that as women, this
- 39:03Speaker 5: is something that's universal, you know, that we go through
- 39:06Speaker 5: like your infertility and, and kind of like, you know,
- 39:10Speaker 5: talking and having open conversations about like the family and
- 39:13Speaker 5: what that means. I mean, it's a very, very interesting
- 39:18Speaker 5: concept to like, you know, have more children, but then
- 39:21Speaker 5: where does that put you in your career? And I
- 39:24Speaker 5: think it's something that I would love to continue, you know,
- 39:29Speaker 5: talking through. because it does change everything, you know, it's like,
- 39:34Speaker 5: what do you put on the back burner? And how
- 39:36Speaker 5: do you navigate like, your career choices if you are
- 39:39Speaker 5: sort of, you know, growing a family in that way? So,
- 39:44Speaker 5: I made a very conscious decision, obviously joining the show,
- 39:47Speaker 5: to share a little bit about my struggles with IVF.
- 39:52Speaker 3: It was something that really, I would.
- 39:54Speaker 5: Say, changed me as a person. And I understand that
- 39:58Speaker 5: a lot of women do go through it alone. It
- 40:00Speaker 5: can be very isolating. And it can really, you know,
- 40:04Speaker 5: it's very emotionally like draining and taxing on you. So I,
- 40:10Speaker 5: you know, when I was going through the motions, I
- 40:12Speaker 5: remember Chrissy Teigen and John Legend had been very vocal
- 40:16Speaker 5: and open and transparent about their struggles. And it really
- 40:20Speaker 5: helped me. It was like almost like comfort and knowing
- 40:23Speaker 5: that I'm not alone. And so in the same way,
- 40:26Speaker 5: I really wanted to kind of be, if I could,
- 40:30Speaker 5: like a resource or just like a familiar sort of
- 40:34Speaker 5: face going through the same struggles that I think a
- 40:37Speaker 5: lot of women do.

- 43:11Speaker 1: slash Juicy Scoop. So, you know, it was interesting to
- 43:15Speaker 1: see you guys go through that. It's very interesting because
- 43:25Speaker 1: I was going through it. I'm like, wait, what? So Dimwa,
- 43:29Speaker 1: who is an anonymous podcaster, blogger, we don't know who
- 43:34Speaker 1: she is. And apparently her attorney is Abe, Aaron Leach's husband.
- 43:43Speaker 1: And it gets talked about in the show that three
- 43:47Speaker 1: years ago, it was a rumor was floating around that
- 43:51Speaker 1: came from, we don't know if it came from Aaron, Abe, Dumois.
- 43:55Speaker 1: It's that Pavitt is in fact gay and meets guys
- 44:01Speaker 1: at Equinox. And you're like, I wish you went to Equinox.
- 44:05Speaker 1: He doesn't work out. He's going to be, he's going
- 44:07Speaker 1: to rest spots and filming his pad Thai. Like he's
- 44:11Speaker 1: not filming the squats at fucking Equinox. So, um, had
- 44:16Speaker 1: you heard that before and like ignored it or, because
- 44:19Speaker 1: it's a very, it's a very common rumor that happens
- 44:22Speaker 1: in housewives. They're always pointing to anybody, you know, whether
- 44:27Speaker 1: the guy knows how to properly tuck a shirt or
- 44:31Speaker 1: works out or maybe, you know, whatever they, it come,
- 44:36Speaker 1: it's come out more times than I can count. And
- 44:39Speaker 1: I really think the only time it's been proven was
- 44:43Speaker 1: in Miami and the guy was dead and Alexia's like
- 44:47Speaker 1: oh my husband my second husband had a boyfriend I
- 44:49Speaker 1: don't know that it's ever been like really but it's
- 44:52Speaker 1: such a common thing and but it would be disturbing
- 44:56Speaker 1: or like what are thoughts about it can you just
- 44:59Speaker 1: share like how you heard about it what you're thinking
- 45:02Speaker 1: was it did was it a problem in your marriage
- 45:04Speaker 1: that that that you put them on this show and
- 45:06Speaker 1: now this rumor is going around.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Yeah no I mean Just to say, I think the
- 45:14Speaker 5: audience reaction from that rumor said it all. There's like
- 45:17Speaker 5: rumor fatigue and especially discussing this topic of like someone
- 45:22Speaker 5: potentially being gay. Like it's, it seems like too often
- 45:27Speaker 5: than not that this happens.
- 45:30Speaker 3: And I don't know why.
- 45:31Speaker 5: I mean, it's something that like is very invasive as
- 45:36Speaker 5: a rumor. And I think that that's how I, I
- 45:39Speaker 5: felt that, you know, when I heard it, I was just,
- 45:43Speaker 5: my first reaction was like, well, it's, of course, not true.
- 45:47Speaker 5: It's ridiculous. But like, more importantly, like he doesn't even
- 45:50Speaker 5: go to the gym. Like I was so stuck on
- 45:53Speaker 5: the fact that like he doesn't even have an Equinox membership.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Like it was so insane.
- 45:57Speaker 5: The insinuations like that were being sort of, you know,
- 46:01Speaker 5: shared against him or whatever that even means. The rumor was,
- 46:07Speaker 5: It has so many different, I would say, legs to it.
- 46:12Speaker 5: It's something that is, it's like an onion, like you
- 46:16Speaker 5: have to sort of like peel back, like, obviously, it
- 46:19Speaker 5: surfaced three years ago. And I did hear about the
- 46:23Speaker 5: blind item that Dumas referenced, and she never posted it.
- 46:30Speaker 5: She never sort of, you know, I think it was
- 46:32Speaker 5: like surfaced here and there, like that there was a
- 46:34Speaker 5: blind item, but she never actually divulged what it was. Now,
- 46:40Speaker 5: I first caught wind of this at BravoCon last year.
- 46:45Speaker 5: When Sai kind of gave me a heads up, she
- 46:49Speaker 5: said that Erin was talking about my husband and saying
- 46:54Speaker 5: like not so nice things about him. And so I
- 46:59Speaker 5: asked a little bit more about what she meant. And
- 47:01Speaker 5: she just said like, there's like something that she is
- 47:05Speaker 5: saying that he's like gay or whatever. Now, Erin has
- 47:09Speaker 5: like said a lot of things about my family. And
- 47:12Speaker 5: so I just pegged it to that. Like, I didn't
- 47:14Speaker 5: know that there was so much more to it. The
- 47:17Speaker 5: details behind the rumor, etc. So when I finally heard
- 47:21Speaker 5: on the island exactly what this was, I'm hearing it
- 47:25Speaker 5: for the first time. And I was really, I think
- 47:28Speaker 5: for me, it was like separating the fact that the
- 47:31Speaker 5: rumor alludes to him being gay, because obviously that's not true.
- 47:34Speaker 3: And it It's ridiculous. And we made light of it because.
- 47:37Speaker 5: I think that was the right way to deal with that.
- 47:39Speaker 3: But also the fact that.
- 47:43Speaker 5: We're now saying that my husband leads a second life,
- 47:45Speaker 5: that he's cheating on me, that he's being unfaithful.
- 47:49Speaker 3: That stuff was not cool.
- 47:51Speaker 5: So I sort of had to separate exactly the intention
- 47:55Speaker 5: behind the rumor.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:56Speaker 1: And I think, you know, I'm just remembering a couple
- 47:58Speaker 1: of things. I remember Teresa on Real Housewives of New
- 48:01Speaker 1: Jersey comes to a party and it's like, yeah, there's
- 48:03Speaker 1: a rumor that Jackie Goldschneider, whatever her name was, her husband, um,
- 48:09Speaker 1: you know, cheats with people at the gym. And I
- 48:11Speaker 1: remember thinking, is she insinuating that he's gay because it's
- 48:16Speaker 1: the gym, you know? And I don't know what she,
- 48:18Speaker 1: but again, never was proven. They're still together. She's no
- 48:23Speaker 1: longer on the show. She got all mad, but then
- 48:25Speaker 1: she wanted to stay on the show. So she forgave Teresa.
- 48:29Speaker 1: And again, it's just like, you could say anything and
- 48:31Speaker 1: anyone could write that on Reddit. under an anonymous thing.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Anyone could write anything on Reddit. And then someone either
- 48:40Speaker 1: goes on Reddit or they screen grab Reddit and they
- 48:42Speaker 1: DM a housewife. And then they're, you know, you should
- 48:46Speaker 1: say this at the party and you can just say
- 48:48Speaker 1: it was a rumor and I didn't say it. And,
- 48:51Speaker 1: you know, but now it's out in the universe. And
- 48:54Speaker 1: the thing that sucks about that is like, Forever, there'll
- 48:59Speaker 1: be somebody that believes that or, you know, like three
- 49:02Speaker 1: years from now, you could post something. Merry Christmas, you know,
- 49:06Speaker 1: and there'll be a comment like you and your gay
- 49:08Speaker 1: husband are having fun. You know, it's like and you
- 49:11Speaker 1: it's just a hard thing to get through. Like and
- 49:16Speaker 1: and the other part is like, you know, we are all.
- 49:20Speaker 1: you know, we all have gay friends and may have
- 49:23Speaker 1: gay children. And we all as women, especially in this Bravoverse,
- 49:27Speaker 1: want to the world to know that we believe love
- 49:30Speaker 1: is love and everything. So when this rumor comes, it
- 49:33Speaker 1: also puts you in a hard position because you're like, Yeah,
- 49:40Speaker 1: you have to be like, well, and if he was,
- 49:42Speaker 1: and I think you said, I found a quote somewhere,
- 49:44Speaker 1: you said, if Pavitt was gay, it would not ruin
- 49:47Speaker 1: our family, meaning maybe you wouldn't stay with him, but
- 49:51Speaker 1: you wouldn't hate him if that is in fact true,
- 49:54Speaker 1: because so many gay men have been in a heterosexual
- 49:58Speaker 1: marriage first. It's just a weird thing to be accused of,
- 50:02Speaker 1: because no matter how you defend yourself, Someone could point
- 50:05Speaker 1: a finger as, oh, I knew you're homophobic. You're mad
- 50:07Speaker 1: that your husband's gay. You're like, well, I'm not. It
- 50:11Speaker 1: must be hard. Yeah.
- 50:13Speaker 5: I mean, it was obviously something that, I mean, I
- 50:18Speaker 5: navigated in the best way I could. But, you know,
- 50:21Speaker 5: it does like saying something along the lines of that
- 50:27Speaker 5: would ruin, you know, this woman could ruin her family.
- 50:31Speaker 5: I just feel like it just puts out a really
- 50:32Speaker 5: weird message to, you know, young boys.
- 50:35Speaker 3: That maybe haven't come out yet.
- 50:37Speaker 5: Like, and then they, you know, it's just, I think
- 50:39Speaker 5: it is a little bit of a slippery situation. Now,
- 50:44Speaker 5: if in hindsight, my husband were gay, I mean, we
- 50:48Speaker 5: would navigate that in real time. And obviously, like, you know, it's,
- 50:53Speaker 5: he can't help who he is. Like, you can't help what,
- 50:56Speaker 5: you know, sexuality you choose to be or you are
- 50:59Speaker 5: or whatever that means. So Kris Jenner did it with Bruce,
- 51:04Speaker 5: you know.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Yeah, in her case, you know, there was always, the
- 51:10Speaker 1: story is that she, I believe that she thought he
- 51:14Speaker 1: had a kink of dressing up as women, as a woman,
- 51:17Speaker 1: and They still had a healthy sexual life. And so
- 51:23Speaker 1: that was his little secret thing. And she was just
- 51:26Speaker 1: being like, hey, that's your kink, whatever. And then when
- 51:29Speaker 1: he really then said, I'm going to be a she
- 51:32Speaker 1: and I am a woman, their marriage was already ending.
- 51:37Speaker 1: So that's the thing with that. And that was also
- 51:41Speaker 1: such a unique thing. And she did get so much
- 51:43Speaker 1: criticism for it. And I was like, okay. There's not
- 51:47Speaker 1: like a ton of women in the public eye that
- 51:50Speaker 1: have been through this. So to criticize how she's reacting
- 51:54Speaker 1: to it was... you know, ridiculous too, because it's like,
- 51:58Speaker 1: you know, it's not like a blueprint for when this happens.
- 52:02Speaker 1: But I, you know, there, unfortunately there is like a
- 52:04Speaker 1: blueprint because of housewives, because this is just a rumor
- 52:07Speaker 1: that gets thrown around. And, and I don't know if
- 52:09Speaker 1: it gets started because there are, you know, and it
- 52:12Speaker 1: gets legs because we have the housewives have so many
- 52:15Speaker 1: gay male fans and this is juicy and to talk
- 52:18Speaker 1: about and all that. But I think it, I think
- 52:21Speaker 1: it sucks. Like, I do kind of think it sucks. And,
- 52:26Speaker 1: you know, and then you have to deal with that.
- 52:28Speaker 1: And now what? So he had a bit, he has
- 52:32Speaker 1: a business or he had a business, but he also
- 52:34Speaker 1: is doing this food influencing thing. And you kind of
- 52:36Speaker 1: talk about that, like, okay, let's, this isn't necessarily profitable yet.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Like what's happening here? Is that a hard thing to manage?
- 52:44Speaker 1: Because you're so busy filming the show. And so what
- 52:48Speaker 1: is that about?
- 52:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, it really did put, I think, a
- 52:55Speaker 5: bit of a strain on us. He probably decided to
- 52:59Speaker 5: pivot careers about two years ago now. And he was
- 53:04Speaker 5: in management consulting and, you know, with a number of
- 53:09Speaker 5: big firms.
- 53:10Speaker 3: And, you know, It was a lot. He would travel
- 53:14Speaker 3: a lot.
- 53:16Speaker 5: It was extremely hard for him because we had small
- 53:20Speaker 5: kids and he would be away pretty much every week,
- 53:25Speaker 5: like Monday through Thursday. So realistically, I know that he
- 53:30Speaker 5: wanted a change. But in figuring out what that looks
- 53:34Speaker 5: like for him professionally, obviously, it took a second. And
- 53:39Speaker 5: It definitely like, you know, it's a tough one because A,
- 53:43Speaker 5: you want to figure out what your next move is.
- 53:46Speaker 5: But B, you have like the pressures of like upkeeping
- 53:50Speaker 5: a certain lifestyle. And I was kind of a single income, like,
- 53:56Speaker 5: family for a second.
- 53:59Speaker 3: And it was very stressful.
- 54:00Speaker 5: And you sort of see that play out on the
- 54:03Speaker 5: season a little bit because I think that as women, this.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Is a partnership.
- 54:10Speaker 5: And I really did want to encourage that, but at
- 54:13Speaker 5: the same time, be patient until while he figures out
- 54:16Speaker 5: what he wants to do. So I was kind of
- 54:19Speaker 5: being push pulled in all these types of different ways.
- 54:23Speaker 5: And we finally got there.
- 54:25Speaker 3: I mean, he's really happy.
- 54:27Speaker 5: He found a career or an opportunity that sort of
- 54:30Speaker 5: marries the food influencing of it all, but also with
- 54:33Speaker 5: like corporate and business strategy.
- 54:35Speaker 3: So it's the perfect storm.
- 54:36Speaker 5: And it took a year or whatever it was, but
- 54:40Speaker 5: he got there. But that time sort of in the
- 54:44Speaker 5: interim was just really tough for us.
- 54:48Speaker 1: So now he has like a legit salary.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Like you have like, okay. Yeah.
- 54:55Speaker 5: I mean, it's, you know, you feel, and it's like,
- 54:58Speaker 5: I felt so bad because it, it just, I didn't
- 55:01Speaker 5: want to put this much pressure on the situation, but
- 55:04Speaker 5: like New York is a really expensive place to live. And,
- 55:10Speaker 5: you know, it's like, there's certain things that you just like,
- 55:12Speaker 5: you can't like And so it was heavy and there
- 55:17Speaker 5: was a lot of, I think there was a lot
- 55:19Speaker 5: of just pressure on kind of him, which I wish
- 55:24Speaker 5: that didn't have to be.
- 55:26Speaker 3: But it was just, it was what it was at
- 55:28Speaker 3: the time.
- 55:29Speaker 1: And you had your PR company. And now do you
- 55:31Speaker 1: still do it? Or are you too busy being your own?
- 55:35Speaker 1: Like you're an influencer yourself. I see your Instagram and you,
- 55:39Speaker 1: you know, have collabs with some great products and things.
- 55:42Speaker 1: So like, do you have time to still, do you
- 55:44Speaker 1: still run PR for other people? It seems like that
- 55:47Speaker 1: would be kind of like a conflict of interest.
- 55:49Speaker 5: 100%.
- 55:50Speaker 1: So I.
- 55:53Speaker 5: Did actually start my own agency around the same time
- 55:55Speaker 5: that the show started. I was actually consulting for Goop
- 56:00Speaker 5: at the time. And it was, you know, it was
- 56:03Speaker 5: under my own sort of like umbrella firm. But then
- 56:07Speaker 5: when you become like a... When you're on a TV
- 56:12Speaker 5: show and you're pitching publicists for other brands, it was
- 56:16Speaker 5: such a weird... Like, I couldn't get my head around
- 56:20Speaker 5: how that works because then... people like, oh my God, Jessel.
- 56:23Speaker 5: And then they would ask you questions about the show.
- 56:26Speaker 5: And it just like got really strange. The relationship between
- 56:30Speaker 5: me and the press and kind of being a publicist,
- 56:33Speaker 5: but then also like talking to press and doing interviews
- 56:35Speaker 5: like for myself as talent. So I had to kind
- 56:39Speaker 5: of navigate like how to, you know, figure out My
- 56:45Speaker 5: sort of background in PR, I've been a publicist for
- 56:48Speaker 5: almost 20 years now, but figure out a way to
- 56:51Speaker 5: utilize those strengths, but really create my own business. And
- 56:56Speaker 5: so about a year ago, I launched a platform that
- 57:04Speaker 5: actually promotes and advocates and brings to the US creatives
- 57:09Speaker 5: from the South America. global Southeast, so the Middle East
- 57:14Speaker 5: and India. And yeah, it's great because I can use
- 57:18Speaker 5: my PR arm and my marketing talent to kind.
- 57:21Speaker 3: Of help build those brands.
- 57:23Speaker 5: But then I'm not like pitching them to US press,
- 57:26Speaker 5: you know, it's, it's a bit of a, it's a
- 57:29Speaker 5: bit of my, like, I'm creating my own like, sort
- 57:33Speaker 5: of like, you know, orbit with, with what I've learned.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Well, now let's get into some of your castmates because
- 57:40Speaker 1: it is an expensive city. And it does seem there's,
- 57:44Speaker 1: you know, the Daisy of it all. Okay. So Daisy
- 57:47Speaker 1: is living in the rent control apartment, which who wouldn't
- 57:51Speaker 1: want that? Okay. I would never leave either. We had
- 57:54Speaker 1: rent control apartments in Santa Monica and I knew some
- 57:57Speaker 1: people and they would stay in that. And then when
- 57:59Speaker 1: they could afford a home, they'd go buy a home
- 58:01Speaker 1: somewhere else. But they'd never give up that apartment. So, like,
- 58:04Speaker 1: I understand that. But the snobbery of it is pretty
- 58:09Speaker 1: amazing when she goes to the private island. And it's like,
- 58:13Speaker 1: you know, with all the zingers that, like, sigh and
- 58:16Speaker 1: everybody's saying, I'm like, someone just needs to go, like,
- 58:18Speaker 1: you're an entitled plus one of an elderly single woman
- 58:24Speaker 1: who brings a makeup brush blush, like, blush brush. Like,
- 58:28Speaker 1: who are you? Like, I'm sorry, makeup artistry. is an
- 58:33Speaker 1: important thing but mostly you've been there for 17 years
- 58:37Speaker 1: because she likes your personality like you could find a
- 58:40Speaker 1: makeup artist wherever you want to go like I just
- 58:42Speaker 1: am kind of like but I get it I wouldn't
- 58:44Speaker 1: leave that I wouldn't leave that rent control apartment and
- 58:47Speaker 1: I wouldn't leave elderly Martha Stewart, okay, as her best
- 58:51Speaker 1: friend who's gone all over. Don't blame her. And if
- 58:54Speaker 1: she can also be a real housewife, don't blame her. Like,
- 58:57Speaker 1: but it was shocking how rude she was on the island.
- 59:04Speaker 5: Yeah, so I, you know, I don't know Daisy as
- 59:07Speaker 5: well as Cy does.
- 59:09Speaker 3: And a that's just who she is.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Like she has kind of these very high standards when
- 59:17Speaker 5: it comes to restaurants and hotels and like her sort
- 59:21Speaker 5: of like personal like leisure.
- 59:22Speaker 3: I was, I've been to the island before. Let me
- 59:26Speaker 3: just preface that.
- 59:27Speaker 5: Pavit and I went to the island once Last December,
- 59:30Speaker 5: we were invited with a.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Number of other friends of Erica.
- 59:36Speaker 5: And it is when I tell you, Heather, you get
- 59:39Speaker 5: there and it is like pure luxury.
- 59:42Speaker 1: I mean, you don't have to convince me.
- 59:45Speaker 3: You don't have to convince me.
- 59:46Speaker 1: I've been to the Virgin Islands. I've seen places like that. Yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 1: it's absolutely stunning. And, you know, the food looked amazing
- 59:55Speaker 1: and the coffee you could make. It was I just
- 59:59Speaker 1: but I do believe that when you're that spoiled, whether
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: you're a spoiled wife or whatever, and when you've traveled
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: on someone else's dime and you're which is what she's done. Yeah,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: you just get used to it. And I mean, some
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: people can get used to it and still be classy
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: and some are not, you know. And so I thought
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: that was fascinating. And speaking of Psy, like, does she
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: really come up with these sayings? that in the spot?
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Or do you think she worked on them all season?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Because she has like this one about the, you know,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: what was the queefing? I like literally had to look
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: it up. Yeah, she's like, your lips are so loose
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: to Erin. Your lips are so... are so loose that
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: you're queefing everyone's business. And I was like, later, Erin
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: says her special gift is that she queefs. So I'm like,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: they must have confided in the fact that Erin can queef.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: And then I don't know if that stuck in her head,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: but it reminded me of like a classic housewife, like that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I can't remember who said it, but it was like,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: maybe it was Tamara or something, but it was like,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: is your asshole jealous of your mouth for how much
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: shit is coming out of it? That's a good one.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: It's like a riddle. You have to like think about
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: it for a minute, but it's like, wow.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: It's like, wait a second. Has this role? No, I mean,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: Psy is really funny.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: And I, whether or not she had known she was
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: going to say that or not, or it came out on.
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: The spot, it's a brilliant line.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: I mean, it's, I have to teach. She has t-shirts
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: that she's been handing out that she had made that
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: literally says queefing everyone's.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: Business on it. I think, I think.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Listen, sometimes it's in the spot. But at this point, yeah,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you got to think of like, yeah, I want to
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: have that iconic line. I want to have, you know,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: some of these iconic lines. And if she said it before,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: somebody like write that down. I mean, as a comedian,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I'll be telling a story and my friends will be like,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: write it down, write it down, write it down. I'm like, oh, OK,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you know, and I'll write it down. So I don't
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: think it's anything wrong with it. But when she said,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I don't give a rat's cock. I was like, okay,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the expression is rat's ass. It's been around for like
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: 40 years. My dad used to say it. And I
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: was just like, a rat has a cock. Like it
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: was just so, and she's just so like angry that,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: you know, people are like, huh, maybe I understand the
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: divorce now. Like if that's the wrath that you get,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: but entertaining nonetheless, are you close with Psy?
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Very close to Psy.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: And I have to say, like, I don't perceive her
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: that way.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: And, you know, she.
- 1:02:40Speaker 5: Psy and I started off on a rocky, you know,
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: it was rocky, our relationship.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: But as you get to know her, I think.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: The one thing, everyone, you keep hearing people say is
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: that she's so angry or she's so, like, you know,
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: the wrath of Psy and this and the other. I
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: think you have to understand, like, she is a passionate,
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: feisty little Latina.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Like, she.
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: She grew up in New York. You know, she's got
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: this like passion about her. And I sort of understand
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: it because my family is also like quite loud and rambunctious.
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: And we're, you know, I.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Think the culture of it all, like growing up in
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: maybe a Latin household or an Indian household, like, you know,
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: we sort of like, I yell at my mom, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: yell at my dad, my brother and I fight where
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: we're not sort of tiptoeing around each other.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: And I do see a lot of that inside.
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: I feel like she is just who she is. And
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: so what was frustrating in that moment was that she
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: was trying to, Daisy was trying to school her and
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: trying to give her like elocution lessons and, you know,
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: give her like, you know.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: Like say, excuse me, Carol. Like it was very condescending.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: And I don't think she appreciated that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: And so that's kind of what set her off. Like,
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: you know, and then when he sets her off, it's like, okay,
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: it's like there's, There's no stopping, but it was, I
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: think that she wanted to talk to Carol. She wanted
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: to have a conversation because she thought leaving the island,
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: they were in a good place and she didn't feel
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: that energy from Carol. So she was just trying to
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: get her attention.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Okay. So Haley Glassman. Okay. We talk about not knowing
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: about anybody. Like, I still don't know. I know that
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: she dated John Gosling, which is kind of interesting because
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: it was like, wow, that's such an old reference. But
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I understand tabloids were the only way that people got
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: gossip back then. And she was seeing herself on the
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: covers and everything. It doesn't matter now. Things are over
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: within two minutes. But John is back in the news
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: because of his son's number one bestselling book, John Gosling's.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Colin Gosling wrote a book about the abuse that he
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: claims to have suffered at John's ex-wife. So I do
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: find the timing, even though I don't think that... I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: think the timing just kind of worked out that she's
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: like in it. But, you know, she... we don't know
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: anything about her. Like, it's very hard to understand. Like,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I'm like, does she have a trust fund, which is
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: totally acceptable, you know, like a lot of people do.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Does she have a trust fund? Does the lavender marriage
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: husband that we never see have a trust fund? And
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: does she look so different because she has a plastic
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: surgeon dad than she did in the covers of those magazines? Like,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: what do you know about her? You know, are you
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: going to laugh after filming with her for five months
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: than I do? Yeah, I do. I do.
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: She was, I think, the biggest surprise for me out
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: of anyone on the cast because, you know, like you,
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I'm sure, you know, I really thought she would be
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: a red flag.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: I really did.
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: I sort of, you know, when you Google her and
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: all the media blitz that comes up around her, It's, um,
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: it's kind of, it's a little bit stressful, like just
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: kind of seeing everything that's been, been written about her. Um,
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: I had dinner with her before we started filming and
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: she said to me, I asked her, I was like,
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: are you ready to be on a national television show?
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: And she was like, I'm a very private person. I
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: would like to keep it that way. And I was like,
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: are you serious? I was like, do you know what
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: you're about to like get into?
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: I was like, Haley. She's like, yeah.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: My Instagram is private. It's not a public profile. And
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: I was like, you're going to have to change that
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: up real quick. So to answer your question, I don't
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: think she really knew or understood the assignment when it
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: came to being on Roni.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: And, you know, when we are trying.
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: To get to know her and asking those questions, I
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: think she kind of gives these like very wishy-washy answers because.
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: She is actually very... She's like, she's been almost.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: I would say, taught to be quite insular and quite
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: an introvert because of everything she went through growing up.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it is a weird ass story. And
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: it's also something that like nobody remembers those magazines from
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: 15 years ago. So she lived it and it's triggering
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: and she remembers it. And I don't doubt that it
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: was traumatic, but nobody else remembers. Like if she just
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: came on And never brought up that she dated him.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I don't think anybody would have, like, remembered, oh, that's
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the girl that dated John Gosling and was on magazines
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: for two months. Like, I just don't think anybody would.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: And it's just strange that, like, the plastic, I mean,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: it's just such a weird thing. The plastic surgeon dad
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: did Kate Gosling's tummy tuck after the sex tuplets. And
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: then the dad, and then the mom was like, you
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: should date him. And it seemed like the mom kind
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: of liked the attention because I'm like, who would tell
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you to date a divorced dad of eight and pay
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: the child support for him? And then she meets this other, like,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I just, listen, maybe we'll know more or not. I mean,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: she seems nice. She seems genuinely like a nice person
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: and can be funny. But it's just like people being like,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: I just don't know who these these people are or whatever.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: It's just kind of, it's just weird, you know?
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: She is really funny.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: And I think outside of her connection with John Gosling, like,
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: you know, if you strip back the layers of who
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: is Hayley Glassman, She is a really kooky, funny, she's like.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: Housewives gold, in my opinion. And I didn't even know
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: how this was going to like pan out for her.
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: I was really nervous because I mean, you know, you
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: sort of don't get like the full picture, like you said.
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: But seeing her on the show as a viewer myself,
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: I'm just like, I'm obsessed. She's brilliant, like in the
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: most unassuming, like unintentional way.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: So in deciding to do The Housewives, did you hear
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: they were looking for new women for New York? Did
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: someone approach you? How did it come about that you
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: were like, yeah, I'll do an interview. I'll consider it.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: Yeah. It started out as a joke.
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: So obviously being in the fashion industry, I think that
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: the show was when they decided to reboot, talking to
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: a lot of my friends who happen.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: To be in the industry.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: I mean, I think fashion is sort of like society
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: kind of go hand in hand here. And so one
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: of my very, very best friends was talking to the show.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: And, you know, obviously, it's about connections and friendships.
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: And so she threw all of her close friends names
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: in this hat.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: And gave me a heads up.
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: She was like, Oh, by the way, like, Roni's rebooting,
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: you may get a call from someone like, at some point,
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: I thought nothing of it. I mean, again, never in
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: on a.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: National television show.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: I got a DM from, you know, a person that
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: was like, would you be interested in having a conversation?
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: And And honestly, Heather, I was approaching this like at
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: every stage of the process, I was saying it would
- 1:10:14Speaker 5: make a great dinner party story. I never for one
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: second thought I would end up here today speaking to
- 1:10:21Speaker 5: you about me being on a television show.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: For three seasons.
- 1:10:24Speaker 5: It was a concept that was so far gone. And
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: there was just a lot of variables. Obviously, me being
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: on a show is not just my decision.
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: It's also... my husband's and.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: My family would have to be okay with that. Being
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: a reality is very intrusive, like you're opening doors to
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: your life to everybody.
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: And when I finally.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: I was in Mykonos when I did that final interview.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: It was summer. I will never forget it. It was July.
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: I was in Mykonos with some friends and I had.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Like, what would have, what was the last call?
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: And I was kind of tipsy and wasted and I
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: was FaceTiming with executives and I was like, woo, like,
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: you know.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Being crazy.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: And I.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Just really was like, being me.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: And then the next day when they offered me the opportunity,
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: I was just like, oh my God, like, what? It
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: was just almost like very surreal, like, The process was
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: so surreal that I never took it seriously except for
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: when I did get the offer.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: I was like, this is like, it was a little
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: bit of like reality check.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: And Pavit, your husband was always like, I'm down, I'll
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: do it, whatever. Or was he had, did he have
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: any reservations?
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: We both had no clue what we were doing.
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: And I will say that completely honestly, like he had
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: never seen the show. I had like was familiar with
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: it and had seen like here and there, but like,
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: I'm not, a real housewives fan like I had never
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: studied the people I I barely knew any names I
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: mean clearly like I don't know who anyone is um
- 1:12:08Speaker 5: so it's kind of.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Funny at like the ultimate girls parties and stuff that
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: um I don't know if it was you or other
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: housewives but when they had the ultimate girls did you
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: go to the like were you there at the Halloween
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: party and you know and it was like um Chanel
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: I didn't know was getting the names mixed up and
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: the younger girls didn't have the history of it and
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: then some of the fans are like do your homework
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: and it's like well there are 200 housewives and some
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: of you guys are literally 20 years younger than the
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: one hit wonders like how are they supposed to remember
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that this girl was on one season 20 years ago
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and like and it's it makes for a better housewife
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: if they're not super fans, you know, in my opinion,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: because you're walking in there being more like authentic and
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: focusing on who's in front of you, not what someone's
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: done in the past. So yeah, I thought that was interesting.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: What's the best thing that's come out of the last
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: three years of being on the show for you? And
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what's the worst?
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: I think the best for me is when I joined,
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: the reason why I wanted to actually do it was
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: that I would be the first Indian, the first housewife
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: of Indian descent. And I think for me, that was
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: such a big accomplishment because as a culture, we're quite
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: private and we don't really share that much on a
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: national platform like this. And so it was an opportunity
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: for me to really share, you know, where I'm from
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: and my culture and a little bit about like, you know,
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: my like sort of upbringing and history. And so that
- 1:13:42Speaker 5: was probably the best thing. I really worked hard to
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: do that. And hopefully I'm doing a good job. And
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: the worst thing, or the, I guess the least favorite
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: thing is just like, you really kind of, I don't know,
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: you sort of see the, that people are so openly
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: like ready to, to say the nastiest things to you.
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: And they don't, you know, social media of it all.
- 1:14:06Speaker 5: Like it just gives, this sort of pathway to like
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: be so cruel. And I think people forget that we're
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: actually real people at the end of this. I don't know,
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: it comes with the territory, I guess, but I wish
- 1:14:19Speaker 5: it was a different experience sometimes. And that's really it. Like,
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: you know, everything else is a learning curve. I think
- 1:14:27Speaker 5: it's been, you know, the best, I would say, mirror
- 1:14:31Speaker 5: to myself. I love getting feedback from people, whether that's
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: the audience or, my castmates or, you know, anyone that's
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: like giving constructive criticism, like you really learn how to
- 1:14:45Speaker 5: be a better person when you're watching yourself on television.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's an interesting thing that not everybody talks about.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: You know, it's like that you can grow. And the
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: negative that I've heard from other housewives is that there's
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: a lot of anxiety and that you get in a
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: fight with somebody or you have an episode that's Perceived poorly,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: poor behavior. And then you know, and you live through
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: it then. And then you have to live through it
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: again when the show airs. And then you have to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: live through it again at the reunion. And for some people, mentally,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: that's like a hard thing. How is that for you?
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I am someone that, you know, has
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: a lot of anxiety and I'm not really a confrontational person. So,
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: you know, sort of forced to kind of like speak
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: your mind and do the most. It does give me
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: a lot of anxiety. And then it's like living through,
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: you know, yeah, it's like I actually get like very,
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: very like almost sick to my stomach every Tuesday when
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: I know that the episode is going to air because...
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: You just, you just, you just know what the repercussions are,
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: whether you did something funny or you did something stupid
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: or you said something stupid. I mean, like you can
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: never predict how people will take it.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: And, and, and honestly, how much time do you spend?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Do you think like looking at videos and commentary about
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: yourself and commenting? Because it could be, you know, 10
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: hours a day or you could have discipline and be like, okay,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I'm going to set a timer. Like, how do you
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: do it to stay? Because I feel like you're handling
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: it pretty well. So I'm curious how you do it.
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: I don't.
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: That's really the key here is that at the end
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: of the day, you can't control. Once you film, you
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: cannot control what happens after that. So It's just bracing
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: yourself for what is going to happen.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: And I think that for me.
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: The reality of like the show versus my real life,
- 1:16:59Speaker 5: like it's not like we're not really, you know, they're
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: two separate things. Like you just have to focus on
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: your day to day. I focus on my kids, my work,
- 1:17:08Speaker 5: my business. I throw myself into all those things because
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: if you marinate on what's happening on the show, you
- 1:17:13Speaker 5: will absolutely go crazy. And I think, you know, people are,
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: there's so much discourse about your behavior, what you did
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: and what you said and, to like dissect all of
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: that and then to absorb all of it, like is
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: really like, it's kind of dangerous for your like mental wellbeing. Yeah.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: And I mean, I'm assuming like, you know, being that
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: you were the new crew that took over from the
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: beloved Real Housewives of New York, which it's, you know, that's,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you just got placed there. Was that hard to deal
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: with people not wanting to give you guys a chance
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: or constantly comparing you?
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it was really hard. And we knew it was
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: going to be a tough pill to swallow. I mean,
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: we were not trying to replace by any means 13 seasons.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: Of like an iconic franchise.
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: I think that for us, it was like the city
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: of New York is ever evolving and we represented what
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: it was in the present day. And I think that
- 1:18:11Speaker 5: like that's something that's really important to consider when you're
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: looking at it you know, through a.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Lens of like modern day New York. And we all
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: live in.
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: Different areas of the city and we come from different
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: backgrounds and it's so diverse. And I think that, you know,
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: that fresh take on Roni was so important and so needed.
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: And again, like, we kind of followed our own path.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: We're not trying to like replicate or copy or, you know,
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: reinvent the wheel here. I think that we really wanted
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: to just kind of share our own experiences in.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: The most authentic way. But we did get it. I mean,
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: it was it was tough.
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: And I think that just now we're starting to see
- 1:18:53Speaker 5: the fan base really kind of pivot and understand and
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: get excited about what this version of Roni is.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. I am really enjoying it. I love
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: your cover with all you guys in like the reds
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and cranberries. And it's great. So if people don't know
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: where to find you and can you give them all
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: your stuff so they can follow you?
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: Yeah, I am on Instagram and it's just at Jessel Tank.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: It's J-E-S-S-E-L-T-A-N-K.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: And that's it. I really don't have any other social.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Okay, great. And the show is on Bravo every Tuesday night, right?
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: Every Tuesday night, 8 p.m. And then on Peacock the
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: next day.
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: Streaming on Peacock on Wednesday.
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: And yeah, just message me my DMs and say nice things,
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: not mean things, and we'll be friends.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. Well, listen, I'm ready to hang
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: in New York or on the island because I can
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: make my own coffee. I love a buffet. I love
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: a pool. I will eat in a pool. And I'm
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: all good.
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: So.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Let's make it happen.
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: Well, come on over, Heather. We're ready for you whenever
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: you are. And next time you are in New York,
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: you have.
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: To hit us up.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: We would love to take you out for dinner.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Yes, I'm sure. I'm sure I'll go to the best
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: restaurant because your husband's tried every single one. So I'm
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: not concerned. Thank you so much. Thank you.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: So good seeing you. Bye.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: One reward.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Endless choice.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: Skip the hassle.
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: Reward the easy way.
