- 5:05SPEAKER_00: Game number 8, we have North Melbourne, Carlton Blues.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: I think North Melbourne know how much the challenge is a win.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: They'll learn from Carlton will definitely learn from this loss in a massive way.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: But North Melbourne defeated Carlton four goals 933 to 3523.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Earning 10 points.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: It was even a low scoring and tight contest with both teams.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Finding goals difficulty to come by.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: But it was North Melbourne did enough when it matters to hold Carlton.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Calden were brave, I'll give that.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So I think Carlton were the challenges, took on the rain prunes, and that's what a good team will build up.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: And we come to our final game, Friantal and Essendon.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Friantal took an impressive, nice win here by 15 points to fit in Essendon.

- 7:04SPEAKER_00: So we got some big wins, some close games, and some massive upsets.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And that's alright.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: So let's drive straight into round six.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Then to finish up, we're gonna add a little bit.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: We're gonna add the halfway mark.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Looking at the AFLW ladder, the halfway mark of the season.

- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Straight up to game of nine, like round five.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Alright, game number one, round six.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne versus North Melbourne.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: Hawthorne hold off a huge result defeating North Melbourne.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: 48, 32, 3, 7, 25.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: Whoa, whoa, whoa, what?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Did I say Hawthorne?
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Pulling up the reigning, the reigning champions, the reigning plainists, the reigning best team in the competition.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: It was a tough, low scoring contest.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: But the Hawk held their nerves.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: They had North Melbourne their first loss after incredible 32 game winning strength.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: A massive round six to the mighty Hawthorne Hawk.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Game two, Conningwood versus Shillong.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: A murder writal.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: But it's Chillon providing a big win over Conningwood.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: The Map Pies, 14-6, 90 defeated 7-7.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: 41 at 41-point victory.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: The Cats were just impressive.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Attacking 14 goals and pointing away.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Record convincing victory over the mighty Conningwood Mat Pie.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Woods drying two out game free Melbourne and Carlton.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And Martham, two big riders going head to head.
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: Big wrong clubs.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: Melbourne continues their strong form with a 34-point victory over the Carn Blues.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: 8-10.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: D8324.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: The Demons control the scoreboard and arrested the Carlton only.
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: Oni.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Allowing Carlton to skip three goals.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: It was another impressive victory.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Performance professional from the Melbourne Demons.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Game four with Port Alain up against them put Sydney Swans.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: Now Adelaide without hosting Sydney Swans their first game of the season.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: And then many months later, it was Sydney Swans came back to Adelaide to take on Port Adelaide 5-11.41 to 3-927.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: Sydney, the victories by 14 points.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: Now I can say Sydney are looking very, very strong than ever since they have joined the Avell W.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Both teams have plenty of scoring opportunities.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: But the Swans were just able to find those five goals to keep Port Alain just the free goals.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Now that is an improvement.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Then last Port Alain scored 211.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: So it's a little improved.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: One goal.28, eight points more because they keep one goal extra.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: So that's a good effort.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: Sydney did enough to come away with a big, big bro win over Port Alain.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Game five, we're almost on the half-ray mark, and we are Franchil hosting Western Bulldogs.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: The Western Bulldogs are feed of Friantal 640 to 46.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: 30, 10 points to the dogs.
- 10:18SPEAKER_00: Now, it's a very important one.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: It was a close contest, but the Bulldogs, that's it, made the most of their opportunities in front of the Big Six goals.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: They held off Friends.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: It's the Tigers on the road against the Giants.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Nine goals, 1468.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Defeated.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: 10-1-61.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Seven points to the Tigers.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Now, I I I gotta say right now, good effort to the Giants.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Very well accuracy, and exactly what they kept.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: They kept 10 goals to one behind.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Why Richmond created more opportunities to kick him 14 behind.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: The Tigers did enough to come away with a high fance win.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: With only three games.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Essendon Goldcoats up net.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Goldcoats rackled convincingly a 41 point over Essendon.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: 7 goals 9.51 defeated 1410.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: The Suns were just as strong defensively and with six too.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Well, only allow Essendon to get one goal.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: Now this is a really Essender of finding hard ways to find those form.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: It was an all-impressive, all-round performance from the Gold Coast Suns with a big win there.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: With two nail gains remaining for our round five to six.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: Results only, results only.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: St.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: Kilden West Coast up nets, and it was West Coast on the road.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Defender St.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Kilda 5-6-36 to 3-7.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: 25-11 point victory due to West Coast Eagles.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: They have taken some big wins.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: They tag on the runners up of Brisbane.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Now they tag on improving St.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Kilda by 11 points at on the road.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: The Eagles made their, well, made their chances and cats St.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: Kilda just three goals.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: West Coast, well, they held their firm and finished with another impressive victory on the road.
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: Final game.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: I did watch part of this game.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: And boy, there's anything but impressive me with a win.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: Brisbane versus LA.
- 12:24SPEAKER_00: This is the bridal.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: This is the AFLW bridal.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: We always have the LA Crows and Port Alaid, but this is the A4W, and these two hate each other.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: So, oh wow! Adelaide finished the round six with a nine-point victory over Brisbane, winning 5-9, 39, 4-6-30.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Low scoring, while a tight battle between these two sides.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Very strong sides.
- 12:48SPEAKER_00: But the Crows were able to find some extra goals.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Well, the hell off the Lions.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: Well, this is the interesting part.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: After their loss against Hosting Geelong Adelaide and West Coast over Brisbane, this is massive.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: A team has to go now the hard way.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: But it was Adelaide coming away in progressive win and point a win as well.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: The close of out round six.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Now we're done after six result.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: Well, where's the season's on?
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Well at halfway mark.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: Right now, let's go straight into the AVW ladder.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: We now come to the halfway mark.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: The AFL W ladder, the moment we'll be waiting for, and that's the rough all the round six.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: That's well round five.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Oh gods.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: We've now reached the halfway mark of the 2026 NAB AVLW 26th season.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: And so we have a take a look at how the uh the ladder extends.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: We're gonna go from the 18th to counting down to right down to our first place.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: Right now, this is an interesting fact.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: How much this ladder changes?
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: It changes completely.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: So I don't doubt, here we go.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna go more first to 12, and then let's see how I go from there.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: So starting from the 18th place, St.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Kilda, a team that has struggled to find a win.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: How much is important at St.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Kilda?
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I think they will eventually get some really good wins.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Halfway mark, anything can happen.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: We come to our 17th place.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: That team is now going to be really interesting, Hollywood.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: Now, if they've headed to the men's to the women's, it's very different.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: I thought Connie would be up there a little bit better improvement.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: I think hopefully the season wins for Connie as well.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: We come to the 16th place name as Essendon.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: I think Essendon's got some work to do with their score involvements.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I think they're not great.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: They got a lot of work to do, and I hope the season, hopefully they'll get a win or two.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: The next team is the GW's giant, the Green Weston Sydney.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: So, how Weston, how great and they are.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: They got work to do, hopefully, to see a win or two.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: We come to the other writer of Port Adelaide in 14th place.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: Look, they have got some improvements, they've got some wins and got some important wins.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Hopefully, they'll see an important victory there.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Next up, we have 13th place.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: The mighty West Coast Eagles, they'd take on Brisbane and they're taking on a mother good team.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Well improved, that is called West Coast over St.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Kilda just recent.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: So, West Coast, have they had the chance to play finals?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: Have they got everything to continue to believe?
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: I think they can do well.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: And up to this point, Brisbane Lions, whoa, my goodness, did not see them in 12th place after six rounds.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: They're struggling a little bit.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Now, how much they need?
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: They need belief and trust and all that, I think they can do well.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: Now we're gonna go from the 11th into that eighth place, and then we'll go from there.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: So, in our 11th place, it's the LA Crows.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: New coach, new team, young team.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: How much is important?
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: I think personally, the LA Crows, have they got enough strength to play finals?
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: We don't know.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: We have to find out.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: I think we're gonna do really well uh coming into this second half.
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: I don't expect to play finals, but I would love to see those mighty LA Crows.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: A4W, you know, that woman's side, they're looking younger, they look absolutely fire.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: So hopefully the LA Crows will do well to finish off their season.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Next up is Friental.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Is this gonna be a miracle or is this an improvement Friental side?
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Unbelievable.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: They have shown some really good potential to really find themselves in that top eight.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: I think they'll have a chance of playing finals and it'll be huge for the competition.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: And our ninth place, then we'll share our eighth place.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Well, Richmond, I think they can play finals from this spot.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: They ain't alright enemy.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Same as friends are made possible after Brisbane and Adelaide.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: I think Richmond has a point to me.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Really, I think they're gonna do really well, and I think they can trust each other.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: We'll see Richmond hopefully to make into that final series.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: And then our eighth box we now can't move into our top eight in eighth place, it's the Western Bulldogs.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Now they've had some really difficult pointing losses into good wins, and I really think that how much is important that the mighty Western Bulldogs have that good chance to play in in that top eight.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: I think they'll do well, and I have chosen well, hopefully, Western Bulldogs, and they are in eighth place for now.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: The next team is the mighty Hawthorne Hawk.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: A team that they are unusual.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: They have only been in the comp for a couple of seasons, and I think they have a possibility, that's right, to be in that final place.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: And I think they're gonna be in the mix there.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: And we have in our sixth place, and then we finish in our fifth place.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: So we come to Well, Gold Coast.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Have they got enough to play finals?
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Do they have a chance of finishing in that top four?
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Well, that's the big thing.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: I really like to see them playing finals.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: If they cannot finish the season strong, there's a bit of a question.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: But all the best for Gold Coast Suns.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: We come to before we go to that, I didn't mention our sixth place, Carlton.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: Carlton, Carlton, wow.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: I think they have everything potential to find themselves a playing finals, absolutely.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: The men's do it, they can do it, absolutely.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Now we move into our top five, and then we'll share our top three, our fourth and third, and then we'll top two.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: Wow, gold codes I've shared.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Now that's alright.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: Now, here is your top fourth and third.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: In our top four, we share e Sydney Swans.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: What are absolutely halfway through this month?
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: They are looking absolute strong.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: They have shown improved.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: They've been in both LA sides, there have been some really good games, they've been in the Westons Sydney Derby, and I really think there's gonna be some improvement in so many levels.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: I really think there's gonna be more improvements for the Sydney Swans, and they get very close to the finals as we hit the halfway mark of that season.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: In our third box, well, we really think Geelong, this is the improvement.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: You know, a couple seasons ago, they were struggling, but look at them now.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: They've been big teams, successful teams in the A4W, and they have shown what they can do.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: How much is important for Geelong to continue?
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: I think they've got a possibility to be in that top four.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: They got a very good side and all the best.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Now, this is anything being possible after 32 games successfully for the North Melbourne in second place.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: Don't even expect them to be in top place anymore.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: The time has absolutely shown them that they need to learn from the loss, and they will learn it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: They will learn it, they'll improve it, and they'll see them into next game, which is round seven, whoever they verse.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: It doesn't really matter.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: And in first place, my goodness, you can't expect amazing.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: It is the Melbourne demons.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: A tender started the Able W have shown they can play in top spot.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: Can they finish in the top four?
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: The men's had a sensational year.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: They finished were in the wildcard, exactly unsure where they finished.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: They finished in fact should have a cult versus Carlton.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: So a tender like Melbourne, I think they have a possibility to really finish the season very, very strong.
- 20:10SPEAKER_00: So that is it.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: Breaking down, and that is my thoughts is where the Able W ladder looked after round six.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: The ladder is starting to take shape, but there's still plenty of football to come in the second half of the season.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Every win becomes important as the teams continue to push towards the finals.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: And that's the wrap-up of the Able W round five, round six results up there on the Big Josh Home.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: Now, we have covered 18 games over two rounds, round five and round six.
- 20:43SPEAKER_00: Over two rounds, hmm?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Plus the A4W later.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: We just had a little bit above the halfway mark.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: So hopefully you enjoyed that.
