- 0:00Speaker 1: It's more and more mister New York on seven to
- 0:03Speaker 1: ten wr.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, hey, we'll get to Long Island this hour. Bruce
- 0:09Speaker 2: Blake wentillby with us. The best county executive in America.
- 0:12Speaker 2: He's up for reelection. Make sure you vote for him.
- 0:14Speaker 2: You know, you only got six days till the election.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Early voting is going on right now. Looks like extremely
- 0:21Speaker 2: heavy turnout in New York City that's believed to favor
- 0:24Speaker 2: Andrew Cuomo. Curtis as well, but there has been a shift.
- 0:29Speaker 2: There is some movement people that weren't going to vote
- 0:32Speaker 2: for Cuomo now voting for him. So he's picking up steam.
- 0:35Speaker 2: I don't know. It could be way too little, too late.
- 0:38Speaker 2: You got six days until the election. You got I
- 0:41Speaker 2: think five more days of early voting and then you'll
- 0:45Speaker 2: get a lot of voting on election day. A lot
- 0:46Speaker 2: of people still wait till election day to do it,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and it's all kinds of traditionalists that do that. But
- 0:54Speaker 2: how did we get in this mess? Well, you can
- 0:55Speaker 2: blame Andrew Cuomo pretty much. The Democratic Primary is what
- 0:59Speaker 2: caused this mess. Cuomo was not supposed to be in that.
- 1:02Speaker 2: You know, when you leave office in disgrace, you quit
- 1:05Speaker 2: in disgrace. You're not supposed to come back that fast,
- 1:09Speaker 2: you really not supposed to come back at all. But
- 1:12Speaker 2: he jumped in there and it was enough to scare
- 1:15Speaker 2: Eric Adams out of the primary. And who knows, Adams
- 1:20Speaker 2: might have done much better against Mom Donnie, but it
- 1:24Speaker 2: was a primary of crazy Democrats, Brad Lander, those type
- 1:27Speaker 2: of guys, and Cuomo was just a disaster in both debates.
- 1:32Speaker 2: In the primary, he was horrible, got beaten to a
- 1:35Speaker 2: pulp by Mamdanni and he didn't do well. It was
- 1:38Speaker 2: just a terrible campaign. He didn't do a lot of
- 1:42Speaker 2: rat didn't do anything, no rallies, no event, there was
- 1:45Speaker 2: not much of it. There was no energy to his campaign.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So he lost. He was totally rejected by Democratic voters.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Mam Donnie won the primary in a huge amount of votes,
- 1:54Speaker 2: and that's how he got stuck with him. And once
- 1:58Speaker 2: you get on that Democratic nomine once you're a Democratic nominee,
- 2:01Speaker 2: there are so many people that just can't help. But
- 2:03Speaker 2: it's just knee jerk. They just pull the Democratic lever.
- 2:08Speaker 2: So that's the problem. And the Democratic registration in New
- 2:11Speaker 2: York is like five to one over the Republicans. Now
- 2:16Speaker 2: Cuomo then jumps in on a third party. But remember
- 2:19Speaker 2: he's not a major party candidate, he's a third party candidate.
- 2:21Speaker 2: In fact, when you go to vote, you got a
- 2:23Speaker 2: hunt for his name. Top of the ballot is Mom Donnie,
- 2:27Speaker 2: next is Curtis, and then you got to go down
- 2:29Speaker 2: eight spaces to get eight. Cuomo is eight names down
- 2:33Speaker 2: on that ballot. So it's not easy to find. But
- 2:36Speaker 2: how did the Democrats let this happen? You got Chuck Schumer,
- 2:38Speaker 2: you got these old traditional Democrats jillibrand even that, you
- 2:46Speaker 2: know that crazy Kathy Hokeel. Why didn't they say anything,
- 2:49Speaker 2: the elders of the party, why didn't they do something
- 2:51Speaker 2: about this crazy socialism. Well, in the case of Schumer Hochkel,
- 2:55Speaker 2: they're terrified, they're just frightened. They're not leaders. They're terrified,
- 2:58Speaker 2: they're paniced, they're afraid of him, they're afraid of getting primaried.
- 3:03Speaker 2: But what about the guys that well, you know, this
- 3:06Speaker 2: is not just a little fringe of the Democratic Party,
- 3:09Speaker 2: it's all through the Democratic Party. The leadership is now
- 3:12Speaker 2: AOC Bernie Sanders. They're not tolerating Mom Donnie. They love
- 3:16Speaker 2: Mam Donnie. Listen to Bernie, Let.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Be cut to the chase. The billionaires have already spent
- 3:23Speaker 3: nineteen million dollars to Troy to defeat Zaron Mamdani for
- 3:28Speaker 3: Mayor of New York in this last week. They're going
- 3:31Speaker 3: to spend a hell of a lot more. Our job
- 3:35Speaker 3: is to do everything that we can to bring out
- 3:39Speaker 3: the vote.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You see, that's what they're tapping into. A lot of
- 3:42Speaker 2: this is about the billionaires, the billionaires.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Let be cut to the chase.
- 3:47Speaker 3: The billionaires have already.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Just billionaires, the damn billionaires, those billionaires. You're supposed to
- 3:54Speaker 2: live in fear of these billionaires. First of all, Mom
- 4:01Speaker 2: Donnie was financed by a lot of billionaires. There were
- 4:03Speaker 2: a lot of Soros types that financed Mom Donnie and
- 4:07Speaker 2: financed all this Bernie nonsense. It's billionaires, fine it, but
- 4:13Speaker 2: it sounds good. You remember when Biden took office, kept
- 4:15Speaker 2: telling you about the white supremacist The biggest threat in
- 4:18Speaker 2: America is white supremacists. Well, there aren't any white supremacists.
- 4:21Speaker 2: There's a couple in a federal prison somewhere, and there's
- 4:24Speaker 2: a few in the Appalachian Mountains. But I remember the
- 4:26Speaker 2: police Commissioner dermot Chet is on good day in New
- 4:29Speaker 2: York and if Biden was going on and on about
- 4:31Speaker 2: the threat from white supremacists, and Rosanna scotisists to him,
- 4:37Speaker 2: how serious is the threat from white supremacists in New
- 4:41Speaker 2: York City? And he was very thoughtful, he said, you know,
- 4:45Speaker 2: I don't really have let me give you an answer tomorrow.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Let me check on this research this And the next
- 4:50Speaker 2: day she read what he sent to her. He said,
- 4:52Speaker 2: I've checked everything. Our department has never encountered a white supremacist,
- 4:57Speaker 2: so it wasn't a threat. But it's the same thing
- 5:01Speaker 2: the billionaires, these billionaires. Now, what is it these billionaires
- 5:04Speaker 2: are doing to us? Well, they're paying most of our
- 5:08Speaker 2: taxes for us. You know, here in New York, the
- 5:10Speaker 2: billionaires pay forty eight percent of the tax. The top
- 5:15Speaker 2: one percent pays forty eight percent of the tax here
- 5:18Speaker 2: in New York. And they do create a lot of jobs.
- 5:21Speaker 2: You know, you see these billionaires. Look at they open
- 5:23Speaker 2: that JP Morgan Chase brand new building on Park Avenue.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Well it says there'll be ten thousand people working there.
- 5:29Speaker 2: So it's one building, ten thousand jobs. And you know
- 5:34Speaker 2: some of these billionaires they create companies like Amazon, Federal Express.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Fred Smith, great guy, he created the Federal Express. That's
- 5:44Speaker 2: eight hundred thousand job. See, you kind of need these billionaires,
- 5:49Speaker 2: but you're supposed to live in fear of them the
- 5:51Speaker 2: way he talks. They're billionaires, those billionaires. Now, be honest.
- 5:56Speaker 2: You ever walk down the street and you say, oh,
- 5:58Speaker 2: watch out, there's a billionaire. You're really supposed to be
- 6:01Speaker 2: afraid of them. You cross the street, Oh, let's go
- 6:04Speaker 2: this way. There's billionaires over there. They're really not going
- 6:06Speaker 2: to hurt you, these billionaires. But that's what Mamdanie taps into.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Even though he's funded by billionaires. You're not supposed to
- 6:14Speaker 2: notice that. But it's just crazy.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Now.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Then he promises this free stuff, you know whatever, They
- 6:20Speaker 2: promised this stuff, free buses, free rent, free apartments, free food,
- 6:24Speaker 2: free grocery stores, free. It's the billionaires that pay for it.
- 6:27Speaker 2: If you get rid of them, nobody's gonna pay for this.
- 6:29Speaker 2: By the way, with the free buses, I've been telling
- 6:31Speaker 2: you this all along, but the MTA chairman, that weasel
- 6:35Speaker 2: Jano Lieber, finally came out and said there's no such
- 6:38Speaker 2: thing as free buses. The mayor has no power over
- 6:42Speaker 2: the MTA no control of the MTA, and he said,
- 6:45Speaker 2: forget the free buses. It's an absolutely ridiculous thing. But
- 6:49Speaker 2: this may All race has It's not just here in
- 6:52Speaker 2: New York. You know, the whole country is focused on this.
- 6:55Speaker 2: You're the big national shows. You know. You listen to
- 6:57Speaker 2: Sean Hannity radio show. That's seventeen million peace people around
- 7:00Speaker 2: the country. They're all talking about it. I was on
- 7:02Speaker 2: Cudlow yesterday. It's the number one show in business television,
- 7:05Speaker 2: national show. But we could talk about the mayor ole
- 7:08Speaker 2: race in great detail, and everybody around the country knows
- 7:11Speaker 2: all the stuff. They're following it closely. So most important
- 7:15Speaker 2: thing is get out there and vote. Voter turnout is
- 7:17Speaker 2: five hundred percent above normal right now. If that continues,
- 7:21Speaker 2: we could get to two million votes. If that's the case,
- 7:25Speaker 2: Mom Donnie has a really good chance of losing. If
- 7:28Speaker 2: it's the normal thirty percent turnout, he's got a real
- 7:30Speaker 2: good chance of winning. If it gets to two million
- 7:34Speaker 2: up near, there a very good chance at mom Donnie loses.
- 7:37Speaker 2: So that's the key, get out and vote. And another
- 7:39Speaker 2: important thing to keep reminding you. If you're in Manhattan,
- 7:42Speaker 2: get rid of Alvin Bragg the DA. Vote for maud Marin.
- 7:48Speaker 2: She's the Republican candidate. She's very big on this is
- 7:51Speaker 2: a revolutionary idea. I'm putting the criminals in jail. The
- 7:54Speaker 2: current DA. Brag doesn't believe in jail. He believes in
- 7:57Speaker 2: letting them all out. He said that on day one
- 7:59Speaker 2: and a famous memo. So get rid of Alvin Bragg,
- 8:02Speaker 2: vote for maud Merin, and again throw out everybody on
- 8:04Speaker 2: the city council. Just everybody, clean house and get a
- 8:08Speaker 2: new common sense city council. If you're worried about Mom, Donnie,
- 8:12Speaker 2: that's one thing you can do, because city council has
- 8:15Speaker 2: more power than anybody. Hey, when it comes to twenty
- 8:17Speaker 2: twenty eight, what are the Democrats going to do? A
- 8:21Speaker 2: lot of them want to run a lot of these
- 8:22Speaker 2: cabinet members, the Pete Buddhajetge types. But they're going to
- 8:26Speaker 2: have a big problem because more and more stuff is
- 8:30Speaker 2: coming out and you'll continue to see more showing that
- 8:32Speaker 2: Joe Biden was a complete zombie, a vegetable that didn't
- 8:36Speaker 2: know where he was and they were all covering it up.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So if you're in the cabinet, you're gonna have to
- 8:41Speaker 2: explain why you helped cover that up, why you didn't
- 8:43Speaker 2: say anything. So anybody in the bidendministration is going to
- 8:46Speaker 2: have trouble running. They'll never be able to explain why
- 8:49Speaker 2: they didn't come forward or why they didn't do something.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So this helps Gavin Newsom because he could say, you know, hey,
- 8:56Speaker 2: I was all the way out in California. I didn't
- 8:57Speaker 2: know what was going on. And Josh Shapiro, the Pennsylvania governor,
- 9:03Speaker 2: good governor. Maybe he's eyeing twenty twenty eight. He's starting
- 9:08Speaker 2: to say things about Biden that everybody should have noticed.
- 9:12Speaker 2: He noticed, he saw things wrong. He said, just watching television,
- 9:15Speaker 2: I saw So he's starting to do that. Hey, now,
- 9:18Speaker 2: what about Trump in twenty twenty eight. You know, he's
- 9:20Speaker 2: talked about how he could run in twenty twenty eight.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I don't know how he could, but he's been talking
- 9:24Speaker 2: about it. I think you might see that talk stop
- 9:28Speaker 2: from what I hear. Mike Johnson has told him to
- 9:30Speaker 2: stop with the twenty twenty eight He's basically just taunting people.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But Johnson said, you could hurt us in the midterms.
- 9:37Speaker 2: People might get so scared of that, just as you know,
- 9:42Speaker 2: just as a buffer they might vote for Democrats just
- 9:45Speaker 2: to make sure government was split. So he said, stop
- 9:48Speaker 2: the twenty twenty eight talk. It might help Democrats in
- 9:51Speaker 2: the midterms. So you probably see Trump stop that the shutdown.
- 9:55Speaker 2: The Democrats keep voting to keep the shutdown going. I
- 9:58Speaker 2: don't know why they keep voting that Schumer making. He's
- 10:01Speaker 2: having another press conference to day. He just makes these
- 10:03Speaker 2: crazy comments. There was one yesterday. Why is the president
- 10:08Speaker 2: on a foreign trip? What is he doing overseas? Why
- 10:11Speaker 2: would he be on a foreign Well, he's coming back
- 10:14Speaker 2: with great deals. He's saving the American economy with that stuff.
- 10:18Speaker 2: That's why the stock market has been soaring. He's been
- 10:20Speaker 2: making great agreements, trade deals, all sorts of economic deals
- 10:24Speaker 2: with country after country. It's called deliverables. He's getting us stuff.
- 10:28Speaker 2: He meets with the President She late tonight.
- 10:30Speaker 5: President Chief China is coming tomorrow here and we're going
- 10:34Speaker 5: to be I hope making a deal.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I think we're gonna have a deal. I think it'll
- 10:37Speaker 2: be a good deal for both. Yeah. Now this could
- 10:40Speaker 2: be big. This could really be a big, huge boost
- 10:42Speaker 2: of the economy. Now you'll say it's tomorrow the meeting
- 10:44Speaker 2: with She. But because of the crazy time difference, it'll
- 10:48Speaker 2: actually be late tonight for us. Hey, the cartel, you know,
- 10:56Speaker 2: we keep blowing up those ships out there. A lot
- 10:58Speaker 2: of people are saying, if Trump's going to war with
- 11:01Speaker 2: the cartel, why does he blow up the labs, you know,
- 11:04Speaker 2: like in Mexico where they make the drugs. Why doesn't
- 11:06Speaker 2: he blow that up. There's a lot of strategy to this.
- 11:09Speaker 2: They've thought about this very carefully. This is very strategic.
- 11:13Speaker 2: They have figured out if you blow up the lab,
- 11:15Speaker 2: they can rebuild another lab. Oh, it might cost them
- 11:19Speaker 2: twenty five thousand to build a new lab, but twenty
- 11:22Speaker 2: five thousand. If you blow up the ship with the
- 11:24Speaker 2: drugs on it and all the ingredients, that's twenty five million.
- 11:28Speaker 2: So the idea is to bankrupt them, to just drain
- 11:31Speaker 2: them financially. So and you can make all the drugs
- 11:34Speaker 2: you want in a lab, but that doesn't mean anything
- 11:36Speaker 2: if you can't transport them.
- 11:38Speaker 6: To the U.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And it's mostly by ship, so it shuts down the
- 11:41Speaker 2: transportation of the drugs and it kills them financially. Again,
- 11:46Speaker 2: blowing up the lab. You can you watch Breaking Bad though,
- 11:49Speaker 2: how they built those labs. It's about twenty thousand twenty
- 11:51Speaker 2: five thousand means you blow up the lab, they can
- 11:54Speaker 2: have another one up in a week. You blow up
- 11:56Speaker 2: twenty five Some of those ships had fifty million in
- 11:58Speaker 2: drugs on them. You really really hurt the car. Tell
- 12:04Speaker 2: So anyways, Hey, the ballroom project moving along. They're moving
- 12:09Speaker 2: very fast.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:10Speaker 2: The reason for the ballroom the President, as a world leader,
- 12:14Speaker 2: met all the other world leaders all over the world,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and he noticed when you go see a world leader,
- 12:18Speaker 2: they're in a palace. It's the most ornate, palatial, unbelievably
- 12:23Speaker 2: spectacular places you meet them. See realized they come to
- 12:26Speaker 2: America and the Oval Office. You know, we think it's great,
- 12:29Speaker 2: but it's a pretty plain room. It's like a plain
- 12:32Speaker 2: municipal office, and it doesn't project what you want to project.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And when they come here, the President feels, you know,
- 12:39Speaker 2: you see the Oval Office. Now he's got gold and
- 12:41Speaker 2: it's too ornate and it's too looks like Versai or
- 12:44Speaker 2: someth Well, that's to project power, strength, wealth, because that's
- 12:49Speaker 2: the way those world leaders live and that's what their
- 12:51Speaker 2: office looks like. So he's trying to project that back.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And when they come here for a major event, it
- 12:56Speaker 2: was pathetic. They would hold it on the White House
- 13:00Speaker 2: lawn in a tent. The East room of the White
- 13:03Speaker 2: House only holds about one hundred people, but you can
- 13:06Speaker 2: do five six hundred. They would do it on a
- 13:08Speaker 2: tent on the lawn. It's like you're at a wedding
- 13:11Speaker 2: in Great Neck, Long Island or something and a tent
- 13:14Speaker 2: with porta bodies. So that's why he's building this ballroom
- 13:18Speaker 2: so when they come here, it projects wealth and power
- 13:20Speaker 2: and strength. Better image for the United States. Oh, speaking
- 13:23Speaker 2: of Long Island. Check out my Instagram. So I'm going
- 13:28Speaker 2: through these old photos. I find this was from twenty
- 13:31Speaker 2: years ago. It's Sean Hannity, me and Curtis. We did
- 13:35Speaker 2: a big book signing event at Huntington, Long Island book review.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Remember that great book starts Gone now but spectacular. I mean,
- 13:44Speaker 2: I love this picture. It's from twenty years ago. Look
- 13:46Speaker 2: how different everybody looks twenty years ago. It's up on
- 13:49Speaker 2: my Instagram. Mark Simone NYC at Instagram. Mark Simone NYC
- 13:55Speaker 2: at Instagram. It was on Long Island all this weekend.
- 13:59Speaker 2: It's booming thanks to Bruce Blakeman, the Great NASA County executive.
- 14:02Speaker 2: He'll be with us later this hour. High point of
- 14:05Speaker 2: the weekend. London Jewelers. London Jewelers, there's great though. If
- 14:09Speaker 2: you're a watch collector, you know Wempy and better Ridge
- 14:12Speaker 2: and all the great watch dealers, but nobody better than
- 14:15Speaker 2: London Jewelers. Spectacular store in Long Island. Although it's closed
- 14:18Speaker 2: right now. They're building another floor on it. That's a
- 14:21Speaker 2: big and they're in a temporary store. But even in
- 14:24Speaker 2: the temporary store it's spectacular. They had their watch fair
- 14:27Speaker 2: this weekend. Anybody who's everybody in Long Island was there.
- 14:30Speaker 2: It was phenomenal. Gillis Pole, the brilliant restaurant tour, Jerry
- 14:34Speaker 2: Sabarro another great restaurant or everybody was there. London Jewelers
- 14:38Speaker 2: run by the nicest people. Mark you dell his wife, Candy,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you dell the whole family. And if you're a watch collector,
- 14:44Speaker 2: nobody has better. I mean, it's not just the best
- 14:48Speaker 2: brands that you've got to have an eye for buying
- 14:49Speaker 2: the best of the best. London Jewelers. Check it out.
- 14:52Speaker 2: The Americana. So coming up, Bruce Blakeman, he was there too.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman will get to him in just a few minutes,
- 15:01Speaker 2: will take some calls. Next eight hundred three to two
- 15:04Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 15:08Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten to the.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Mark simoneshell.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Wr Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Stuart
- 15:18Speaker 2: in South Carolina. Stuart, how you.
- 15:20Speaker 7: Doing, hey, Mark Carl you you know, I'm trying to
- 15:23Speaker 7: find out a lot of information about the Alvin Bragg race.
- 15:26Speaker 7: Because Alburn Bragg stays in there with Mom, Donnie or
- 15:30Speaker 7: even Cuomo and hoche Well, you're going to have the
- 15:32Speaker 7: trifecta of hell.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody, get rid of Alvin Bragg. Vote for Maud Maren,
- 15:37Speaker 2: the Republican candidate. She's a good on crime. Vote for her.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Get rid of Alvin Bragg.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Oh.
- 15:43Speaker 7: Absolutely, he's crossed so much death and destruction in New
- 15:47Speaker 7: York City. I can't imagine anybody voting for this guy.
- 15:50Speaker 7: And it sounds like does he still have a shot
- 15:52Speaker 7: or what?
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeh, it's crazy New York City. The good news is
- 15:55Speaker 2: with these DA races, it doesn't take a lot of
- 15:57Speaker 2: votes to get rid of them. So make sure you vote,
- 15:59Speaker 2: get out there and vote for Maud Meren for d
- 16:02Speaker 2: A good point, Stuart, Let's go to Billy in Manhattan, Billy,
- 16:05Speaker 2: How you doing, Mark?
- 16:07Speaker 4: We well, a couple quick points. Who have the heard
- 16:10Speaker 4: of this Gotham polling group? From what I gathered, it's
- 16:12Speaker 4: a couple of hundred senior citizens that are friendly to
- 16:15Speaker 4: Cuomo and alost publicity, including your station. It's bogus.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Well, you know, you got to remember in this race,
- 16:21Speaker 2: we haven't had any real good polls. We've had all
- 16:23Speaker 2: these junk polls, these college polls, these media polls. Normally,
- 16:27Speaker 2: the campaign behind the scenes they bring in the big, big,
- 16:30Speaker 2: serious pollsters, the John McLaughlin's, but none of them have
- 16:33Speaker 2: spent the money. That's the problem. So we're you're these
- 16:37Speaker 2: public polls are all just just junk. Let's go to
- 16:40Speaker 2: Jan in New Jersey. Jan, how you doing Mark?
- 16:44Speaker 1: May or?
- 16:45Speaker 7: Mark?
- 16:45Speaker 8: Doesn't that sound good?
- 16:46Speaker 2: No? No, I don't want to be mayor?
- 16:49Speaker 8: Okay, all right, I know you don't want it, but
- 16:50Speaker 8: you'd be great. You know what I was thinking. There's
- 16:53Speaker 8: so much like everybody, but with Mom, Donnie and AOC
- 16:59Speaker 8: and Bernie, they're like keeping people to be caterpillars instead
- 17:03Speaker 8: of letting them to be butterflies.
- 17:06Speaker 2: All right, I don't know what that means, but okay,
- 17:08Speaker 2: Let's go to Jimmy and New Milford. Jimmy, how you doing?
- 17:14Speaker 6: Taking Wanning Mark Cala good.
- 17:16Speaker 5: There's one thing that I could never there's really I
- 17:19Speaker 5: can never figure Colo for, and that was when he said, boy,
- 17:23Speaker 5: you know, America was never that great anyway.
- 17:27Speaker 2: One of those famous comments, you know, to talk about
- 17:29Speaker 2: these things that mom Donnie said in the past. Coloma
- 17:31Speaker 2: said some pretty bad things in the past. Two Let's
- 17:34Speaker 2: go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, good morning, Mara. Mark. Among
- 17:40Speaker 1: the many things you said that or right on the money,
- 17:43Speaker 1: you mentioned the fact that the new Chase building. Now
- 17:46Speaker 1: I want AOC Bernie Sanders and Mondamie to think about this.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Think about all the tax relief and all the money
- 17:55Speaker 1: that that building is supplying to the city, first off
- 18:01Speaker 1: in property tax, in water and sewer tax, and then
- 18:05Speaker 1: all the people that are being employed. You said, what
- 18:09Speaker 1: ten thousand people are being employed in that building. Yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 1: all right, All those people have to be are paying tax, right,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and they're contributing also to the local economy. Because Jamie
- 18:21Speaker 1: Diamond says he wants everybody to work right at least
- 18:24Speaker 1: three four days a week.
- 18:26Speaker 2: No, yeah, what's your five days a week? Great, Jamie dimonds, Well,
- 18:29Speaker 2: as you got to go back to the office, right.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Because he knows that that's contributing to the local economy,
- 18:36Speaker 1: to the delicate tessant, to the dry cleaners, this, that
- 18:40Speaker 1: and the other. And another thing that you mentioned. You
- 18:43Speaker 1: mentioned the great voted turnout, the high voted turnout. John
- 18:47Speaker 1: Katamatidis last night said that in June, and this is
- 18:51Speaker 1: another reason why we must bring the primary back in September.
- 18:56Speaker 1: In June, it was one hundred and two degrees that
- 18:59Speaker 1: day that they had the primary. I felt like when
- 19:02Speaker 1: I went to go vote, I was gonna drop bed in.
- 19:05Speaker 1: The polling place is only three blocks from my house.
- 19:09Speaker 1: People are busy, schools over, they're getting ready to go up, stay,
- 19:13Speaker 1: go on vacation. And also, no, it's a good two
- 19:17Speaker 1: degrees heat and everything.
- 19:18Speaker 2: No good point, no more, no more primaries in June.
- 19:21Speaker 2: They got to move back to September where they belong.
- 19:23Speaker 2: But Vincent, we got to go do the news. Great call. Yeah,
- 19:26Speaker 2: it was there's another There's been a lot of tricks
- 19:29Speaker 2: they've used, from the rank choice voting to moving the
- 19:31Speaker 2: primaries to June. You get much lower turnout if you
- 19:34Speaker 2: do it in June. If you do it in September,
- 19:36Speaker 2: you get much better turnout. Hey, when we come back,
- 19:38Speaker 2: we'll talk to the best county executive in America, Bruce Blakeman.
- 19:42Speaker 2: He's up for reelection. Obviously he's gonna win, but make
- 19:44Speaker 2: sure you get out there and Botram. We'll talk to
- 19:46Speaker 2: him next on seven to ten w R. Mister New York.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Hey, that's Marks alone, seven ten WR.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Well, we love Long Island, especially Nassau County, and it
- 19:57Speaker 2: has the best county executive in a America. There's not
- 20:00Speaker 2: even a close second. Bruce Blakeman is the county executive
- 20:04Speaker 2: up for reelection on Tuesday. Make sure you vote for
- 20:06Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman on Tuesday. And he's with us right now.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, how you doing good?
- 20:11Speaker 6: Mark? Thank you so much. You're very kind, really appreciate it.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Do you actually have an opponent? Has anybody had the
- 20:16Speaker 2: nerve to run against you?
- 20:19Speaker 6: Yes, we have an opponent. I don't take anything for granted,
- 20:22Speaker 6: you know, Mark, in Nassau County we have one hundred
- 20:24Speaker 6: and ten thousand more registered Democrats than Republicans, so we
- 20:29Speaker 6: can't take anything for granted here.
- 20:31Speaker 2: All right, So everybody get out and vote for Bruce
- 20:33Speaker 2: Blakeman on Tuesday. You have early voting out there too,
- 20:36Speaker 2: don't you.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Yes, yes, so yeah, do it today.
- 20:40Speaker 2: And you have a very good district attorney to Anne Donnelly, right,
- 20:43Speaker 2: we have Bridge. You'd vote for her too well.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Working with Anne Donnelly and our great police Commissioner Pat Ryder,
- 20:50Speaker 6: and our police department, our Sheriff's department, working very closely
- 20:55Speaker 6: with ICE, we are the safest county in America, which
- 20:57Speaker 6: you're saving. It's saying a lot since we're on the
- 21:00Speaker 6: border of New York City and our populations larger than
- 21:04Speaker 6: ten states in America.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, so if mom Donnie wins, can we join Nasau County?
- 21:11Speaker 2: Can New York City become part of Nasau County? Is
- 21:13Speaker 2: that possible?
- 21:14Speaker 6: Our real estate brokers are doing a tremendous business right now.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Our housing prices are going up up, So if you
- 21:23Speaker 6: want to come to Dassau County, now's the time to
- 21:25Speaker 6: buy because it's only going to go higher. People are
- 21:29Speaker 6: very concerned about him becoming mayor. I certainly am planning
- 21:33Speaker 6: with our police department measures that we're going to take
- 21:36Speaker 6: because We have a great relationship with the NYPD right now.
- 21:40Speaker 6: We share intelligence, we share assets, we work very well together.
- 21:45Speaker 6: I'm not sure that's going to be the same if
- 21:48Speaker 6: he's elected.
- 21:51Speaker 2: How hard is it just to have common sense in politics?
- 21:54Speaker 2: You know, one thing, you come from the private sector too.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Do you think that should be a requirement that you
- 21:58Speaker 2: had to have been in the private sect just to
- 22:00Speaker 2: learn common sense and how to be practical about things.
- 22:04Speaker 6: I think it's a great platform to run for office
- 22:08Speaker 6: where you have to meet a payroll, where you understand
- 22:12Speaker 6: that everything that every decision that's made is a cost
- 22:16Speaker 6: benefit analysis. That's what you should do in business. That's
- 22:20Speaker 6: what you should do in government. Unfortunately it's not done
- 22:22Speaker 6: in government. But you know, we do common sense things
- 22:25Speaker 6: out here, like boys play with boys, girls play with girls.
- 22:29Speaker 6: We don't want boys in girls bathrooms and locker rooms.
- 22:34Speaker 6: Just common sense.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and things are booming in Nassa right Every time
- 22:37Speaker 2: I'm out there, you got another hotel going up, more
- 22:39Speaker 2: stores are opening. It's the economy is bigger than ever,
- 22:43Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 22:44Speaker 6: Our gross domestic product is larger than one hundred and
- 22:47Speaker 6: twenty six nations in the United Nations. We are an
- 22:51Speaker 6: economic powerhouse. Our restaurants are as good as New York City.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Our shopping is as good as New York City, may
- 22:59Speaker 6: be better. Beautiful beaches, beautiful parks, great museums. And by
- 23:03Speaker 6: the way, I heard you mentioned the Udell's, great great
- 23:07Speaker 6: entrepreneurs out here in Nassau County. I love them because
- 23:11Speaker 6: they create a lot of sales tax revenue for us.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Hey Mark, you, Della, his wife, Candy, that whole family
- 23:16Speaker 2: is just wonderful. And that's another example. Like he's adding
- 23:22Speaker 2: another FLOORI to his store. Next store, you got rh
- 23:25Speaker 2: Restoration Hardware. They just opened a spectacular store. So they
- 23:28Speaker 2: must think highly of you and Long Island if they're
- 23:30Speaker 2: spending all this money to expand.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Well, we are the safest county in America. We haven't
- 23:36Speaker 6: raised taxes one penny in four years, so we're doing
- 23:40Speaker 6: the right things out here. And we encourage businesses to
- 23:44Speaker 6: come to Nassau County. I meet with business owners from
- 23:48Speaker 6: all over the world, not just the United States, and
- 23:51Speaker 6: encourage them to do business in Nassau County because it's safe.
- 23:55Speaker 6: We've got beautiful housing stock, as I said, we've got
- 23:58Speaker 6: beautiful beaches. Our school are top notch. We've got a
- 24:02Speaker 6: lot to offer out here.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so why does anybody go to the Hamptons. I've
- 24:07Speaker 2: never understood that it takes you nine hours to get there.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Nasau County got better restaurants and better stores, you got
- 24:12Speaker 2: beautiful beaches. But I guess it's good they don't all
- 24:16Speaker 2: come because you can't, you'd have too many people.
- 24:19Speaker 6: We were the Hamptons before there was a Hampton mark.
- 24:22Speaker 6: So we have the Gold Coast, which has amazing homes, again,
- 24:29Speaker 6: great restaurants. Then on the South Shore, we've got some
- 24:33Speaker 6: of the most pristine, beautiful beaches in the whole world.
- 24:36Speaker 6: So we've never marketed Nassau County the way that we should.
- 24:40Speaker 6: So the last four years, that's all I've been doing.
- 24:43Speaker 6: As I said, our gross domestic product is incredibly high.
- 24:47Speaker 6: When I came into office, it was eighty five billion
- 24:49Speaker 6: a year. It's now over one hundred and twenty five
- 24:51Speaker 6: billion dollars a year.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Wow.
- 24:53Speaker 2: So everybody vote for Bruce Blakeman Tuesday's election. That you
- 24:56Speaker 2: can do early voting if you're in Nassau County, make
- 24:58Speaker 2: sure you vote for Bruce Blakeman. And you must have
- 25:03Speaker 2: you thought about the next four years. What you want
- 25:04Speaker 2: to do, you must have a lot on your plate there.
- 25:06Speaker 2: But what's next for NASA?
- 25:10Speaker 6: Continue to make it safer, continue to make it more affordable,
- 25:14Speaker 6: keep taxes down, and use common sense, as you said,
- 25:18Speaker 6: and American values. We need to get back to American values.
- 25:22Speaker 6: Our kids have been indoctrinated with nonsense in our schools
- 25:26Speaker 6: and universities, and we've got to reteach them about the
- 25:30Speaker 6: things that were taught to us by our parents and grandparents.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, when you get a mom Donnie getting all these votes,
- 25:37Speaker 2: a lot of people think that's the result of universities
- 25:40Speaker 2: becoming crazy left wing and doctrination centers, glamorizing socialism. And
- 25:47Speaker 2: how do you undo that that could take They've raised
- 25:49Speaker 2: generations of these crazy people. How do you undo that?
- 25:52Speaker 6: Well, we have to re educate Mark. By the way,
- 25:56Speaker 6: communism has been a failure. Socialism has been a failure.
- 25:59Speaker 6: You can't point to one country where it's been a success.
- 26:03Speaker 6: And my friends who are who are you know, immigrants
- 26:07Speaker 6: from socialist countries. They can't understand why we don't teach
- 26:11Speaker 6: more in our in our public schools and our universities
- 26:14Speaker 6: and our private schools about what socialism and communism are
- 26:18Speaker 6: all about. It's basically being nonproductive, depending on the government
- 26:24Speaker 6: to control every aspect of your life. Anti religion, no spirituality.
- 26:30Speaker 6: It's really a dismal life. I think Winston Churchill said
- 26:34Speaker 6: it's the sharing of misery.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I like that. So Bruce Blakeman is up for reelection.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Make sure you vote for him on Tuesday. Best county
- 26:43Speaker 2: executive in America. Have you getten calls from other county executives?
- 26:48Speaker 2: You've worked miracles there? Have they called you for a
- 26:50Speaker 2: guidance advice?
- 26:52Speaker 6: Well, I talk with political leaders throughout the state. I
- 26:57Speaker 6: speak with county executives all over New York State, and
- 27:02Speaker 6: you know, we've got a good nucleus here in New
- 27:04Speaker 6: York State. And you know, one of the things we've
- 27:06Speaker 6: got to do is focus very very carefully on changing
- 27:10Speaker 6: our state government because they're the biggest problem. With castlest bail,
- 27:15Speaker 6: with all congestion, pricing, all of these types of very
- 27:19Speaker 6: oppressive laws that are anti business, the pro criminal those
- 27:24Speaker 6: are the types of things that we've got to change
- 27:27Speaker 6: in our state government.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yeah, if we have any big politicians listening, give them
- 27:31Speaker 2: some advice on how to be fearless. You've been a
- 27:34Speaker 2: guy who just you know, what's the right thing to do,
- 27:36Speaker 2: what's the smart thing to do, and you do it,
- 27:38Speaker 2: and maybe you get a little flack, but you get
- 27:40Speaker 2: through it. You're not under any big attack from anybody
- 27:43Speaker 2: to tell them how doing the right thing is sometimes
- 27:46Speaker 2: in the end will always work out for you.
- 27:49Speaker 6: Well, that's absolutely right, Mark. I think that if you
- 27:51Speaker 6: do the right thing, if you're courageous, if you stand
- 27:55Speaker 6: by your values and principles, eventually that will reap great benefits.
- 28:00Speaker 6: I'll give you a for instance, my cooperation with ICE.
- 28:03Speaker 6: We are the most comprehensive county in the United States
- 28:08Speaker 6: in our cooperation with ICE. We've removed forty seven illegal
- 28:14Speaker 6: migrants who had criminal records just last months. Twenty eight
- 28:18Speaker 6: of them were gang related. When people when I told
- 28:22Speaker 6: people I was going to enter into a cooperation agreement
- 28:25Speaker 6: with ICE, they were like, Oh, you're going to lose
- 28:27Speaker 6: the Hispanic vote. The Hispanic Americans won't vote for you.
- 28:32Speaker 6: We've pulled it now three times in the Hispanic American community,
- 28:36Speaker 6: they love it. From sixty two to sixty six percent
- 28:39Speaker 6: of Hispanic Americans want that cooperation with ICE because they
- 28:43Speaker 6: want safe communities for their children. They don't want their
- 28:46Speaker 6: children to being doctrinated into gangs. They don't want overcrowded schools,
- 28:51Speaker 6: they don't want homeless people in their neighborhoods. So my
- 28:53Speaker 6: support in Hispanic American community has been overwhelming.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a great example for any politicians. Just do
- 29:01Speaker 2: the right thing. You'll get a little flak here and there,
- 29:03Speaker 2: but in the end everything will be better. Everything works out,
- 29:05Speaker 2: and then you get credit for doing the right thing.
- 29:07Speaker 2: And we want everybody to vote for Bruce Blakeman on Tuesday,
- 29:11Speaker 2: that's election day, but you can do it now, there's
- 29:13Speaker 2: early voting in Nassau County. He's the best county executive
- 29:17Speaker 2: in America by far. And Bruce Blakeman, good luck, not
- 29:20Speaker 2: that you'll need it, but thanks for being with us.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Keep up the great work.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Mark, you're a good friend. Thank you so much. And
- 29:26Speaker 6: if I had your voice and your intellect, that'd be
- 29:29Speaker 6: President of the United States.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Definitely do well, not yet, not yet, we need you
- 29:32Speaker 2: in Nasau County then president, But thanks for making marks
- 29:37Speaker 2: take care. Yeah, he really has done a phenomenal job
- 29:41Speaker 2: in Nassau County. If we could clone him, that would
- 29:46Speaker 2: be perfect. If we could get somewhere like that as mayor,
- 29:48Speaker 2: then we wouldn't have to settle for these horrible choices
- 29:51Speaker 2: we got. Hey, we got a lot coming up today,
- 29:54Speaker 2: Buck and Clay at noon, excellent show. Then you got
- 29:57Speaker 2: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity
- 30:01Speaker 2: today Wednesday. I think Curtis is on with Buck and
- 30:04Speaker 2: Clay today. I think in the one o'clock hour you'll
- 30:06Speaker 2: heard Curtis on Buck and Clay. Then, Hey, don't forget
- 30:10Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayala great show every night nine to midnight. Here
- 30:13Speaker 2: on seven to ten, w R set Up said on
- 30:17Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app to WR to hear Mark live.
- 30:21Speaker 7: Set another for Mark's podcast, to hear him anytime now.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Back to Mark Simone on wor Well, it was just
- 30:32Speaker 2: about out of time. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Coming up today, Curtis will be a big guest on
- 30:38Speaker 2: the show. I think in the one o'clock hour you'll
- 30:39Speaker 2: hear him with the Buck and Clay. This will be interesting.
- 30:43Speaker 2: As we've been reporting all morning, there is some movement
- 30:46Speaker 2: in the Meyrill race. There has been a shift of
- 30:48Speaker 2: votes towards Cuomo. Again, we got all these junkie polls
- 30:52Speaker 2: for this. Nobody's spent the money for a serious, serious
- 30:56Speaker 2: poll from a top polster, so we don't know for sure,
- 31:00Speaker 2: but we'll see there is movement towards Cuomo. He's picking
- 31:04Speaker 2: up a little steam. We'll see if it's enough, if
- 31:06Speaker 2: there's an enormous turnout, if it gets to two million,
- 31:09Speaker 2: which it hasn't in a million years, then a Cuoma's
- 31:12Speaker 2: got a shot. So we'll we'll see. Hey, don't forget Sunday. Actually,
- 31:17Speaker 2: Saturday night we go off daylight saving time. Saturday overnight
- 31:21Speaker 2: we go off daylight saving time, so Sunday will be
- 31:25Speaker 2: the first day where it's standard time and it'll get
- 31:28Speaker 2: dark out like at five point fifteen five point thirty.
- 31:30Speaker 2: That's going to be really annoying on Sunday. Hey, Sunday's
- 31:33Speaker 2: also a marathon day, so don't even think of driving
- 31:37Speaker 2: into Manhattan. It'll be traffic nightmare all over. The marathon
- 31:41Speaker 2: is in all five burroughs. Hey, we're out of time.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I'm here every day ten to noon or listen anytime
- 31:46Speaker 2: get the podcast, but I'll be back tomorrow at ten.
- 31:49Speaker 2: I'll talk to you then on seven to ten. Wo
