- 1:25Speaker 1: popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It's the story you need to hear to believe, then
- 1:31Speaker 1: grab your popcorn, because there is more. I always knew
- 1:36Speaker 1: that Zoran Mamdani was an un-American bigot. His support of
- 1:44Speaker 1: the International Criminal Court makes me wonder if he should
- 1:47Speaker 1: still be allowed to be an American citizen. If you
- 1:50Speaker 1: support the ICC, what you support is some bureaucratic body
- 1:56Speaker 1: that above the constitution of the united states i consider
- 2:01Speaker 1: that to be an act that is unacceptable no one
- 2:04Speaker 1: who supports the icc should be in elected office and
- 2:09Speaker 1: if they are i believe it's a violation of the
- 2:11Speaker 1: oath and i believe that when you are a naturalized
- 2:14Speaker 1: citizen that is cause to do away with such dignity
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's an opportunity to be a citizen of the United States.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I was born here. Yeah, you can argue that when
- 2:28Speaker 1: you're born here, it's a little different, right? You're not
- 2:31Speaker 1: going to deport me anywhere. But those who are engaged
- 2:34Speaker 1: in treason, those who are working against their government, not
- 2:41Speaker 1: redress of grievances, but trying to undo it, they deal
- 2:45Speaker 1: with jail or other things. All I'm discussing here is
- 2:51Speaker 1: deportation and removal of citizenship. That's what I think of
- 2:55Speaker 1: people who support the ICC and think that, well, Benjamin
- 2:58Speaker 1: Netanyahu should get arrested. Well, it doesn't matter who they
- 3:00Speaker 1: want to arrest. This is not something that anybody should
- 3:03Speaker 1: take with legitimacy. This is built to make the claim
- 3:11Speaker 1: that these people's feelings should have dominion over your life.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I believe that we have a constitution that we can amend.
- 3:20Speaker 1: What opportunity would I have to amend their criminal court,
- 3:23Speaker 1: which acts the world over? Exactly the point. It is
- 3:28Speaker 1: to make you powerless. But Mamdani goes there on Theo
- 3:34Speaker 1: Vaughn's podcast. Now, I really have never had an issue
- 3:37Speaker 1: with Theo Vaughn. I just thought he was a dope.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I never certainly understood the comedy. He said a couple
- 3:43Speaker 1: of things that I thought are funny, but like, all right,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I'm not going to see him. And Torben, it doesn't matter.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Other people are great. And then he decided to join
- 3:51Speaker 1: this whole group of people who decided that they understood
- 3:55Speaker 1: what's going on with Israel and the Palestinians. And they
- 3:59Speaker 1: think themselves, I don't know, righteous. I don't think they
- 4:02Speaker 1: think themselves intellectuals. But I and I think this stuff
- 4:08Speaker 1: is clean there, producer Carl. I was trying to get
- 4:10Speaker 1: an edit done. I couldn't do it in between. I'll
- 4:12Speaker 1: try and get it played for you, though. This is
- 4:15Speaker 1: a mom Donnie on the Theo Vaughn podcast, starting with
- 4:19Speaker 1: what is can only be seen as maybe the biggest
- 4:22Speaker 1: lie ever told, which is, of course, the lie of socialism.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Finger on the dump button, producer Carl. Let's go. I
- 4:30Speaker 1: want to talk a little bit about socialism, right? Because
- 4:32Speaker 1: it's a buzzword, right? Because socialism, will you define socialism
- 4:37Speaker 1: for us? Because people say it a lot and don't
- 4:39Speaker 1: know what it is. And sometimes those people are me.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I'm so happy to be with those people right now.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Socialism to me, it means that you will have whatever
- 4:53Speaker 2: you need to live a dignified life and that it
- 4:56Speaker 2: is the government's job to deliver on that.
- 5:01Speaker 1: OK, first, you were asked for the definition of socialism
- 5:05Speaker 1: and you gave a personal definition as opposed to a definition. Secondly, oh,
- 5:10Speaker 1: my gosh. You will have whatever you need to live
- 5:15Speaker 1: a dignified life and that it is the government's job
- 5:17Speaker 1: to deliver on that. The government brings you dignity. That's
- 5:25Speaker 1: that in and of itself is is enough. We're done here.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Have a nice day. Secondly, can you define dignified? Because
- 5:38Speaker 1: I think dignified is private jets, cigars, and steaks. That's
- 5:44Speaker 1: what I think a dignified life is. You think dignified
- 5:50Speaker 1: life is brutal as brutalist architecture and standing in line
- 5:54Speaker 1: for bread. Now I say you as our mom, Donnie,
- 5:58Speaker 1: because that's all your socialism has ever produced is ever
- 6:03Speaker 1: in the history of ever. This is madness. And here
- 6:12Speaker 1: is Theo Vaughn just sucking that up. But I told
- 6:17Speaker 1: you we would talk about the International Criminal Court. Now
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm going to edit out the last part, hopefully by
- 6:23Speaker 1: hitting the pause button in time. But this is what
- 6:28Speaker 1: Mamdani said.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Be a big part of of what comes next is
- 6:33Speaker 2: a politics of humanity, not just for the people that
- 6:36Speaker 2: we represent at home, but also the people that were
- 6:39Speaker 2: bombing abroad.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But if you had your say, we would have arrested
- 6:44Speaker 1: the guy, you think? If I had my say, the U.S.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Government would have joined the ICC, honored every single warrant
- 6:50Speaker 2: that they've issued.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Sorry to say it like that, but I think I
- 6:53Speaker 1: got it. I think I got it. I hope I
- 6:57Speaker 1: got it. I tried to get it. If you want
- 7:02Speaker 1: to join the ICC because you want to arrest Netanyahu,
- 7:09Speaker 1: understand you don't actually believe in the laws of the
- 7:13Speaker 1: United States. You believe in something else. For podcaster Theo
- 7:20Speaker 1: Vaughn to be like, yeah, that's great. Well, no one
- 7:25Speaker 1: ever said a podcaster was bright enough No one ever
- 7:30Speaker 1: said that a podcaster had to have a mind or
- 7:33Speaker 1: understand himself. Just like he doesn't understand socialism, he doesn't
- 7:37Speaker 1: understand what this is. I think there's a real argument
- 7:44Speaker 1: for deporting Zoran Mamdani and there's a real argument for
- 7:47Speaker 1: dismissing Theo Vaughn. If you're in favor of the ICC...
- 7:55Speaker 1: You don't favor the Constitution. And that is a divide
- 7:59Speaker 1: that cannot be crossed. Those people have to lose and
- 8:05Speaker 1: we have to win.
