- 0:31when we expected to be certain way look certain way.
- 0:34So today, I will share five, easy ways to practice self, love
- 0:39to learn to love yourself because you are beautiful.
- 0:42You are special. This episode was requested by a

- 0:53So the first way to practice self-love is healing, your body
- 1:00insecurities. This is the first step, because
- 1:03I feel like this is something that we all struggle with.
- 1:06There's always something on our body that we wish were a bit
- 1:09different for me, for example, I've been dealing with bloating
- 1:12ever. Since I went on antibiotics as a
- 1:15teenager, I also have several other body Securities that Dealt
- 1:19with adversity, since I was a teenager.
- 1:22I feel like when we were kids, we don't care about this.
- 1:24We know, they were beautiful. Then what I learned in woman
- 1:28Wellness Russia? She has this beautiful women
- 1:31Circle. One thing I learned is that,
- 1:34when we're young, we get an imprint that then changes.
- 1:39What, what, how we view ourselves, for example, for me,
- 1:43it was one of the like, bullies in my school said that I had
- 1:48wrinkles With which, you know, first of all I didn't she was
- 1:52just being a bully but that made me really self-conscious and I
- 1:55started look myself in the mirror.
- 1:56Oh my gosh. And I got my first night cream
- 1:59when I was like 15 years old because of that.
- 2:01So think about if there was some comment by maybe a parent
- 2:06friend, or something from society.
- 2:10That led you to think? Oh my gosh.
- 2:12I need to change this about me. Another very powerful thing.
- 2:15You can do that. I learned from my coach is to
- 2:18put one. Hand on the body part that
- 2:20you're insecure about, in my case, I'll put it in my belly
- 2:23right now and the other hand on your heart.
- 2:27And then just like, feel how grateful you are for this body
- 2:31part and say out loud. What you love about this?
- 2:35Body part and love it unconditionally.
- 2:39So, in my case I could say belly.
- 2:42I love you when you have a six pack, but I also love you.
- 2:46When you are bloated, I I love you when you're older and you're
- 2:51going to look like a raisin. I love you when you were
- 2:54younger. I love you when you're
- 2:55constipated. I love you when I have a baby
- 2:59growing in here and just give this unconditional love to this
- 3:03body part. Because if you've had this
- 3:06insecurity for a long time, then chances are you have kept
- 3:08telling this body part all these negative things, so you can be
- 3:12very healing to do an exercise. Like this, another mind shift
- 3:16when it comes to body insecurities is Seeing it is as
- 3:19a characteristic. For example, I've always been
- 3:22very insecure about my nose because it's not like straight.
- 3:26It's goes, it has like a bump and growing up.
- 3:29I was always like, okay, I will definitely have a no surgery
- 3:32when I'm older but now that I'm older, I'm kind of feeling more
- 3:36grateful for my nose. And I'm seeing this as a unique,
- 3:38feature of mine. And what this reminds me of is
- 3:41if you've ever seen the movie Dirty, Dancing that beautiful
- 3:44woman? It's about she later.
- 3:46Did a no surgery. So she looked Completely
- 3:49different. And after that, she, I mean,
- 3:52she's basically unknown. She hasn't done many movies
- 3:55after that, it was a unique characteristics that people
- 3:58loved about her, but she felt like cause my nose is not
- 4:01straight, you know, I need to fix it.
- 4:03So if you have a body part that you are insecure about, then I
- 4:06think about it as a unique characteristic because it would
- 4:09be boring if we all look the same.
- 4:11The second way to practice self-love is to do one thing
- 4:15every day that you love some. Do list of everything that I
- 4:20really liked, you up that sets your soul on fire and make time
- 4:25for that every single day and I know many of you lead very busy
- 4:30lives and you don't have much free time.
- 4:33So let's say if you are a busy mom of three little kids running
- 4:38around, you don't have much time and you your thing that you love
- 4:42is reading reading books, we could do is either wake up
- 4:45earlier and read or just read Read one page per day.
- 4:50Just one in today's society, we are taught to self-sacrifice
- 4:54that that is a good thing and I think especially as women are
- 4:57very guilty of self-sacrificing. But just like in airplanes, how
- 5:01you put on the gas mask on you before you put on it on your
- 5:03kid, you have to do this with the yourself in in daily life as
- 5:07well. So do something every day that
- 5:09you love way. Number 32 practice self-love is
- 5:12by physical exercise and yes science actually shows that
- 5:17exercising Helps improve self-esteem.
- 5:21And if you want to take it even further with self-love, then
- 5:25pick an exercise that you a love.
- 5:28For example, one exercise that I've been loving recently is
- 5:31Barry. I think it's called, which is
- 5:33like a mix between ballet Pilates and yoga and I'm just
- 5:36loving it. Let me know in the comments,
- 5:38what type of exercise and you love to do the fourth way to
- 5:41practice self-love is through meditation.
- 5:44And the reason why this helps you love yourself more is
- 5:47because it makes to you. Get out of your mind and ego,
- 5:51and more into your soul and your soul loves everything about you.
- 5:57Unconditionally, it's your ego that always finds faults.
- 6:01Always needs to improve because they're scared to get kicked out
- 6:04of the tribe. Right?
- 6:06To be an outcast because that could have killed you back in
- 6:09the in when you were in tribes, right?
- 6:12I always talk on this channel about how important it is to
- 6:15meditate daily. And here you have yet another
- 6:17reason the 5th Wave. To practice self-love is to own
- 6:21your story, own your past. So we've all done things in the
- 6:26past that we regret and many others are still carrying shame
- 6:32around. That shame is one of the lowest
- 6:35emotions you can ever experience.
- 6:37So this is not good and something that you need to
- 6:40release. So how do you own your story and
- 6:43release the shame of your past? My coach told me a very good
- 6:48analogy. She and that is like, imagine a
- 6:51baby, and it's playing in the kitchen, having so much fun and
- 6:55then a bowl hits the floor and brakes and now it's feeling
- 7:02shame. So it was super happy enjoying
- 7:05yourself, but now, something happened that made that
- 7:09happiness is appear. And now, it felt shame.
- 7:11So, whatever you did back, then you were enjoying yourself, then
- 7:17you had maybe different values. You were trying different things
- 7:21but then afterwards, you look back now that you have grown and
- 7:24changed and you feel like, oh my gosh, why did I do that?
- 7:28So the remember that based on who you were, then your
- 7:31experiences so far in life, your personality, that led to that,
- 7:36and now you've grown your different.
- 7:38So there was nothing wrong with what you did, you can always go
- 7:42wrong. We can always learn, nobody
- 7:44leaves a perfect life throughout without making any mistakes or
- 7:47anything that they regret. Yet, let's continue the
