- 0:08Speaker 1: Sure, it's welcome to the Not Even Nice Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, Rub Shooter. It's Monday. Our friend Garrett is
- 0:19Speaker 1: off today, so it's just us Naughties. But never worry.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We've got so much to gossip to talk about. We
- 0:25Speaker 1: can fill up twenty minutes with all the breaking celebrity news.
- 0:29Speaker 1: If my voice seems a little horse today, it's because
- 0:33Speaker 1: I said the Coney Awards last night. Oh my goodness,
- 0:37Speaker 1: I love the Theater Awards. Congratulations to all the winners,
- 0:42Speaker 1: all the nominees. Did you watch them? They were on CBS.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Sweeney Todd I thought was fabulous. But I gotta say
- 0:50Speaker 1: Liah Michelle singing Don't Rain on My Parade from Funny Girl,
- 0:56Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, she's still the show. Absolu stole the show.
- 1:02Speaker 1: And yes, I saw some of your notes, your lovely dms,
- 1:06Speaker 1: some social media posts. That was my husband Bruce on
- 1:10Speaker 1: the front row, sitting between Barry Manilow and Josh Grobin,
- 1:14Speaker 1: who now is his new best friends. So maybe Naughties,
- 1:19Speaker 1: maybe we'll be talking to Josh on the Naughty but
- 1:23Speaker 1: Nice Podcast. I know, poor Bruce, my husband. When you
- 1:26Speaker 1: become friends with Bruce, particularly when you're famous. I hope,
- 1:30Speaker 1: I don't frighten you are. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 1:35Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is tea time.
- 1:38Speaker 1: A big story at the top of the show. Britney
- 1:42Speaker 1: Spears's lawyers are livid and they are lashing out about
- 1:47Speaker 1: claims that the singer is on meth back doing drugs.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So Britney's high powered attorney is slamming a quote false
- 1:58Speaker 1: and defamatory report that links the singer to crystal meth use.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You heard that right, So the lawyer fired off, fired
- 2:09Speaker 1: off a legal letter yesterday in which he demands an
- 2:14Speaker 1: internal investigation. It has to take place, he's saying, concerning
- 2:19Speaker 1: the exploitation of Britney Spears's children. That would be Sean Preston,
- 2:23Speaker 1: who is seventeen and Jaden who is sixteen, whom she
- 2:27Speaker 1: shares with her ex, Kevin Federline. So all this comes
- 2:31Speaker 1: after The Daily Mail, through reporter Daphanie Barak, posted a
- 2:37Speaker 1: story yesterday containing numerous false and defamatory fabrications concerning my client,
- 2:46Speaker 1: Britney Spears that are attributed to Kevin and the children,
- 2:50Speaker 1: particularly with regard to meth use. So yesterday, Daphanie Barrack
- 2:55Speaker 1: this is a reporter. She's an international reporter. I think
- 2:59Speaker 1: she's based in in America and Israel, and she often
- 3:03Speaker 1: sits down with controversial celebrities and their families and does
- 3:08Speaker 1: these sort of hour documentaries. Recently, she sat down with
- 3:12Speaker 1: Kevin Fedaline for a huge documentary that she produced. It
- 3:16Speaker 1: aired in Britain, and so now after the documentary has aired,
- 3:21Speaker 1: Daphanie claims that Kevin told her a lot more stuff,
- 3:25Speaker 1: a lot of stuff that she couldn't use in the documentary,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and she took it to the Daily Mail. One of
- 3:30Speaker 1: the things she claimed is that Kevin feared Brittany was
- 3:34Speaker 1: back on drugs. She also claimed that Kevin said the
- 3:38Speaker 1: following quote, it's terrifying. She's the mother of my boys.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And then she went on to say that Britney's dad
- 3:46Speaker 1: told her that Britney might die like Amy Winehouse. Well,
- 3:51Speaker 1: now Britney's lawyer is saying none of this is true,
- 3:55Speaker 1: none of it were said. And get this, Kevin is
- 3:58Speaker 1: backing up Britney's life lawyer that this did not happen
- 4:02Speaker 1: and that Daphanie Barak falsified all these quotes. This is
- 4:08Speaker 1: gonna get ugly. Lawsuits are gonna be popping up about this.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You can't say somebody told you something on the record
- 4:19Speaker 1: if they didn't. Now, I spoke to a source this
- 4:23Speaker 1: morning who's close to Daphanie, who said, Daphanie has hours
- 4:28Speaker 1: and hours and hours of footage that were not used
- 4:32Speaker 1: in the documentary, that are on camera, that are on tape,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and she feels quite confident. So does she have this tape.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Maybe what might have happened here I'm speculating is that
- 4:45Speaker 1: Kevin wanted to go off the record. So this often
- 4:48Speaker 1: happens in celebrity interviews. You do your interview on camera
- 4:52Speaker 1: and then you say off the record, and you turn
- 4:53Speaker 1: the cameras off and then you say something. But that's
- 4:56Speaker 1: off the record. You can't use it. Now we all,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I know that the microphone is never really turned off.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So if I interview you not on camera, but we
- 5:07Speaker 1: meet in a restaurant and we do an interview, a
- 5:09Speaker 1: print interview, an online interview, I record you on my
- 5:12Speaker 1: cell phone and when you say let's go off the record,
- 5:15Speaker 1: I hit pause. You actually see me do it. So
- 5:18Speaker 1: I don't record anything that's off the record. Now, TV
- 5:21Speaker 1: interviews are different. They let the camera keep rolling, so
- 5:26Speaker 1: maybe she has this footage. I can't get my head
- 5:29Speaker 1: around an experienced journalist. Now she is controversial. She interviewed
- 5:34Speaker 1: Michael Jackson's family and lots of other really controversial celebrities.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Roseanne bar you go to her when you want to
- 5:41Speaker 1: do a really controversial type of interview. She also pays
- 5:44Speaker 1: a lot of money in the past for these interviews,
- 5:47Speaker 1: so money probably exchanged hands here. But she is a professional.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Daphanie Barack knows what she is doing, and I just
- 5:54Speaker 1: can't imagine her just lying, just making up quotes. He
- 6:00Speaker 1: certainly quotes about drugs crystal meth. You can't just claim
- 6:05Speaker 1: that her ex husband told me he fears she's back
- 6:08Speaker 1: on drugs. You can't just claim that if he didn't
- 6:12Speaker 1: say it. This is gonna get really really really controversial,
- 6:17Speaker 1: really really interesting, which brings us to our pole question
- 6:20Speaker 1: of the day. Britney Spears's lawyer is claiming that the
- 6:22Speaker 1: report about Brittany being back on drugs is reckless and false.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Who do you believe here? Do you believe the attorney
- 6:32Speaker 1: Britney's attorney or do you believe the journalist Daphane Brack.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Hey go vote on our Twitter page at naughty and
- 6:41Speaker 1: ice rare about Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be
- 6:44Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey,
- 6:49Speaker 1: some really lovely news. Naomi Wants has confirmed that she
- 6:53Speaker 1: is married to Billy Cruddup. She said the following hitched.
- 6:58Speaker 1: That's all she said, I love it. Hitched. Naomi confirmed
- 7:02Speaker 1: that she did tie the not to Billy after Page
- 7:05Speaker 1: six reported that the two of them were spotted wearing
- 7:09Speaker 1: matching wedding rings. So after it was reported that they
- 7:13Speaker 1: had got married, she took to Instagram and wrote, hitched.
- 7:17Speaker 1: That's it at a heart, I love it. But she
- 7:19Speaker 1: did attach a photograph of her and her husband on
- 7:24Speaker 1: the steps of the courthouse on Saturday on its beautiful.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Several stars have already congratulated the happy couple on their nuptials,
- 7:34Speaker 1: including Gwyneth Paltrow, who wrote Yippie, sending so much love.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Gwenneth Paltrow knows everybody. She's like the glue of Hollywood
- 7:43Speaker 1: of New York. She knows everybody. So Gwyneth was one
- 7:46Speaker 1: of the first to respond justin thru He wrote congratulations
- 7:51Speaker 1: you too, Olivia Wild wrote yes, and the odd one
- 7:54Speaker 1: out Lisa Renner wrote yay. Now do you think Lisa
- 7:57Speaker 1: Renna actually knows no Naomi, What does she know Billy
- 8:02Speaker 1: creud Up or is she just jumping up the celebrity
- 8:04Speaker 1: bags wagon here. I definitely believe Gwenneth knows them. I
- 8:08Speaker 1: think Justin knows them. Olivia Wild she knows them too,
- 8:11Speaker 1: Lisa Reader, I don't know. I think Lisa's pulling your
- 8:14Speaker 1: Bethany here and just trying to get attached to a story.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Well let it go, and yeah, he's probably right, Lisa.
- 8:21Speaker 1: So there's nothing wrong with saying that the couple were
- 8:23Speaker 1: spotted earlier in the day returning to their apartment wearing
- 8:27Speaker 1: wedding get attire. And that's when page six noticed that
- 8:31Speaker 1: they had wedding bands on their left hands, spark in
- 8:34Speaker 1: all the speculation, and so they kept it quiet for
- 8:38Speaker 1: maybe twenty four hours. But this stuff gets out. But
- 8:40Speaker 1: there's nothing bad here. This is a beautiful story. Before
- 8:44Speaker 1: before she was married to creud Up, remember she dated
- 8:48Speaker 1: leib Shriver. Oh he's so handsome for eleven years. The
- 8:51Speaker 1: care split in twenty sixteen and shared two children together.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Cred Up, on the other hand, it's a little bit
- 8:58Speaker 1: more messy with him. He shares nineteen year old son
- 9:01Speaker 1: William with his ex Mary Louise Parker, who, let's not
- 9:04Speaker 1: forget he left when she was seven months pregnant. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: heard that right for Claire Danes. Mmm, Billy, I don't
- 9:14Speaker 1: like that, but let's hope you two are happy, happy,
- 9:18Speaker 1: happy together. I love the story. Kristin Davis from Sex
- 9:23Speaker 1: and the City is talking at about being really culed
- 9:27Speaker 1: relentlessly for using fillers. She's now fifty eight years old,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and she said she wants to be honest and open
- 9:34Speaker 1: about her use of fillers in her face, but she
- 9:36Speaker 1: said she's been absolutely really killed by online trolls. She
- 9:41Speaker 1: told The Telegraph in London, quote, it's hard to be
- 9:44Speaker 1: confronted with your younger self at all times. A lot
- 9:48Speaker 1: of famous people tell me this. People who grow older
- 9:51Speaker 1: in the spotlight, there's always footage of them ten years ago,
- 9:55Speaker 1: twenty years ago when they were younger, and it's hard
- 9:58Speaker 1: to see that all the time. Occasionally we might see
- 10:02Speaker 1: a photograph of ourselves when we were ten years younger,
- 10:05Speaker 1: five years younger, and we're like, oh wow, I looked great.
- 10:07Speaker 1: I look great, But we're not confronted by it every
- 10:10Speaker 1: minute of every day. Kristen is because Sex and the
- 10:13Speaker 1: City is such a big hit. She said, it's a
- 10:16Speaker 1: challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that.
- 10:19Speaker 1: In fact, she can't. She said, the Internet wants you
- 10:22Speaker 1: to look like that, but they also don't want you
- 10:25Speaker 1: to use fillers and all this other stuff, and so
- 10:27Speaker 1: she said, it's really conflicting. What do you do and
- 10:31Speaker 1: she said She went on to add that I have
- 10:33Speaker 1: done fillers and it's been good, and I've done fillers
- 10:36Speaker 1: and it has been bad. In fact, some of her
- 10:38Speaker 1: fillers have looked so strange that she's got them dissolved.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And she added that she has been ridiculed about it
- 10:46Speaker 1: so much so that she's cried about it. She said,
- 10:48Speaker 1: I've definitely shed tears. It was very stressful, obviously, the
- 10:53Speaker 1: actress who became superstar from playing Charlotte York on the
- 10:57Speaker 1: HBO series. She added that people blame us when things
- 11:02Speaker 1: go wrong, when it's actually the doctor who carried out
- 11:05Speaker 1: the work that you should be screaming at. So when
- 11:07Speaker 1: she's had bad fellers and she's aware they're not good,
- 11:10Speaker 1: she said, don't blame me, blame that doctor. She added,
- 11:14Speaker 1: the aging in the public eye is extremely, extremely stressful.
- 11:20Speaker 1: It's something I never thought about, but now I am.
- 11:23Speaker 1: It must be hard to grow older and you are
- 11:27Speaker 1: this famous. It's hard to grow older when you're not famous.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Sometimes I look in the mirror and I wonder, Gosh,
- 11:33Speaker 1: where's that young guy? Because I don't feel any older,
- 11:36Speaker 1: but I look older. I should. It's natural. You gotta
- 11:39Speaker 1: come to terms with this. We're all growing older and
- 11:42Speaker 1: it is impossible to look exactly the same as you
- 11:46Speaker 1: did ten years ago. I think you are great. Christin Davis. Okay,
- 11:52Speaker 1: moving along. Talking about appearance, Amy Schumer is revealing that
- 11:57Speaker 1: she thinks celebrities should be much more open and real
- 12:01Speaker 1: when talking about weight loss, so Amy did not hold
- 12:06Speaker 1: back on the topic of ozempic, the weight loss drug
- 12:09Speaker 1: that so many people are using it, including what caused
- 12:13Speaker 1: her to stop using the medication. She was on it
- 12:15Speaker 1: for a little bit, she said, like a year ago,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I tried it. I was one of those people who
- 12:20Speaker 1: felt so sick. I couldn't even play with my son.
- 12:24Speaker 1: She said. The side effects were so so extreme she
- 12:28Speaker 1: had to stop, and she said it was impossible for
- 12:32Speaker 1: me to live like this. But she did say I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was one of the first to immediately invest because I
- 12:39Speaker 1: knew everybody was going to give it a try. I
- 12:41Speaker 1: love she's being honest about this. She tried it, it
- 12:44Speaker 1: didn't work, and she said everyone in Hollywood is lying
- 12:48Speaker 1: when they say, oh, I just eat smaller portions. That's
- 12:51Speaker 1: how I lost the weight. She said, you were either
- 12:54Speaker 1: on ozempic or you've had work done. So just stop
- 12:58Speaker 1: be real with people. She added, when I got LiPo,
- 13:02Speaker 1: I said I got LiPo. When I did ozempic, I
- 13:06Speaker 1: said I did o zempig. Tell the truth. Don't fool
- 13:10Speaker 1: us here. There's so many, so many celebrities. There's a
- 13:12Speaker 1: lot of gossip at the minute about which housewives. A
- 13:15Speaker 1: lot of the housewives suddenly got really really thin. Did
- 13:18Speaker 1: they just eat smaller portions? Are they just working out
- 13:21Speaker 1: that little bit harder. That's what they want us to believe.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Amy saying it is nonsense. When you reach a certain
- 13:28Speaker 1: age and you suddenly lose twenty pounds, that is almost impossible.
- 13:32Speaker 1: It's not totally impossible, but it takes a life a
- 13:36Speaker 1: lifestyle change. When I lost all my weight, it's because
- 13:39Speaker 1: I stopped drinking, I started working out, and I stopped
- 13:43Speaker 1: eating greasy food. Basically, That's how I lost all the weight.
- 13:46Speaker 1: But it was a total lifestyle change, totally. It wasn't
- 13:50Speaker 1: that I just ate less cake on the weekends. It
- 13:52Speaker 1: wasn't that I just drank a few less vodka sodas. No,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I cut it out. I just didn't do it anymore,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and that's how I lost weight. I'm probably the exception here.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Amy is saying that most people that does not happen
- 14:04Speaker 1: to And when you see somebody who suddenly loses twenty pounds, mmmm,
- 14:09Speaker 1: it's probably a little work, a little LiPo, or maybe ozempi. Okay,
- 14:15Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 14:17Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Night Show.
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm Rob Shooster. It's just us today, naughty's but don't worry.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Let's get to the polls. Dull Tamra Judge calls Teresa
- 14:29Speaker 1: Judici the most overrated housewife of all time? Do you agree?
- 14:35Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Oh, only forty percent agree. Most
- 14:39Speaker 1: of you this is so naughty. I think I might
- 14:41Speaker 1: have influenced the pole here. A lot of you are
- 14:44Speaker 1: saying Bethany I said, Bethany, didn't I When we taped
- 14:47Speaker 1: this on Friday, I don't like Bethany, she doesn't like me.
- 14:52Speaker 1: We do not get a lug. But you have spoken naughties.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You don't think it's Teresa. You think it is Bethany.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Thank you for in my back. Okay, don't forget to
- 15:02Speaker 1: vote on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page and
- 15:05Speaker 1: naughty nicer are but facebook page is naughty your yim
- 15:08Speaker 1: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 15:14Speaker 1: And now it's time for our nicest of the day.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Garth Brooks is the nicest of the day because he
- 15:20Speaker 1: will serve bud Light and any other beer in his
- 15:22Speaker 1: new Nashville bar amid or the transphobic attacks and backlash.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So Brooks shares his thoughts after there was a transphobic
- 15:32Speaker 1: boycott of bud Lights. He said, I want it to
- 15:36Speaker 1: be a place where you feel safe. I want it
- 15:39Speaker 1: to be a place where you feel like they're are
- 15:42Speaker 1: manners and people are good to one another. And yes,
- 15:46Speaker 1: we're gonna serve every brand of beer. We just are.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It's not our decision to make. I think, is this
- 15:54Speaker 1: If you're let into this house, into this bar, love
- 15:57Speaker 1: one another. If you're an a hole, there are plenty
- 16:01Speaker 1: of other places to go. This comes after musicians John
- 16:06Speaker 1: Rich and Kid of Rock, who both own large bars
- 16:11Speaker 1: in Nashville. They stopped selling bird Light because of bird
- 16:15Speaker 1: Light's relationship with a trans influencer. Good for you, Garth,
- 16:21Speaker 1: you are our nicest of the day, and now are
- 16:24Speaker 1: naughtyiust the day, naughty, naughty, naughty. Their stories out that
- 16:27Speaker 1: Spotify might have had to fire a lot of people
- 16:30Speaker 1: because of Megan Markle. Pho aor Meganmarkle kids blamed for everything.
- 16:34Speaker 1: So these ridiculous reports are saying that Spotify paid Mega
- 16:38Speaker 1: markll around eighteen million for a podcast and it didn't
- 16:41Speaker 1: do that well. Now Spotify is laying off about four
- 16:44Speaker 1: hundred of its employees, and people are desperate to connect
- 16:47Speaker 1: the two, so they're basically blaming Megan Markles podcast isn't
- 16:51Speaker 1: doing so well. It's not a disaster, but it's not
- 16:53Speaker 1: a huge hit. It certainly did not make eighteen million
- 16:56Speaker 1: honors back. They're claiming that has the sum that has
- 16:59Speaker 1: something to do with the layoffs. Let me tell you,
- 17:01Speaker 1: Meghan Markle got paid a lot of money, but Spotify
- 17:04Speaker 1: is huge, It's a billion dollar company. Meghan Markle's eighteen
- 17:08Speaker 1: million is a drop in the bucket for them. It's
- 17:12Speaker 1: not about Meghan Markel. Her critics go on to point
- 17:15Speaker 1: out that her podcast slid out of the top twenty
- 17:18Speaker 1: very very quickly, and there's no confirmation that she's even
- 17:21Speaker 1: going to come back and do a second season. All
- 17:23Speaker 1: of that is true. However, to link this to people
- 17:26Speaker 1: losing their jobs, it's silly. Joe Rogan has a much
- 17:31Speaker 1: more successful podcast on Spotify than Meghan Markele and Joe
- 17:35Speaker 1: Rogan was reportedly paid two hundred million dollars for his
- 17:39Speaker 1: eighteen million two hundred million there's the difference and naughtyous
- 17:43Speaker 1: that the day blaming Meghan. Okay, let's end with a
- 17:47Speaker 1: moment of rob. Rob you Rob, you get a rob.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I love this quote. I was watching TV and the
- 17:53Speaker 1: new promo to Sex in the City, and just like
- 17:55Speaker 1: that appeared and Carrie said the following, and it just
- 17:58Speaker 1: stopped me in my tracks. Quote. You don't move on
- 18:04Speaker 1: because you were ready. You move on because you have
- 18:07Speaker 1: outgrown who you used to be. Wow. So you're never
- 18:13Speaker 1: actually are ready to move on, You're not. You have
- 18:17Speaker 1: to take a leap of faith. It's always brave, it
- 18:20Speaker 1: always takes courage. It's always feels risky, So you don't
- 18:25Speaker 1: move on because you're ready. You're not ready. You move
- 18:28Speaker 1: on because you have to. You have outgrown it. That
- 18:32Speaker 1: is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
- 18:34Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and Naughty Show.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I hear you as the co hosts. We're a production
- 18:39Speaker 1: of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app,
- 18:42Speaker 1: Apple Podcasts, wherever you listen, leave us a review if
- 18:45Speaker 1: you can. They really do help or remember altogether. Now,
- 18:48Speaker 1: if you're going to be naughty, you've got out bay
- 18:52Speaker 1: nice take care of it. It's not even nice with
- 18:57Speaker 1: Rah
