  [SPEAKER_00]: Penalties are obviously keeping me up at night.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jack Wars, especially offensively, are just so, so heavily penalized.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's like 10 a game on the dot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It feels like at least they've had a couple game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a couple of weeks ago against the chiefs they cleaned it up a lot, but other than that, it's been brutal.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that they kill you in so many ways, just the pre-snap.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's one thing if you get a holding penalty or, you know, just a execution error.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes that stuff is, you know, it's so bang bang, it's so difficult, but when it's literally just pre-snap lining up off sides and of course Travis Hunter thinks he'd checked with the

  [SPEAKER_00]: line judge, whatever, but lining up off side, it's not being in, you know, Anton Harris and not being up on the line of scrimmage, these sorts of things, they just kill you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not when it happens once or twice a game, it's when it, you know, continues to happen over and over and over every single week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So to the drops, the drops have been agreed just this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It felt like there were much cleaner against the chiefs, which a lot of the things that have been issues for the Jack Wars were seemingly much cleaner against the chiefs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But drops, they were definitely ugly this past week, like, you know, hunter long dropped a really easy one that Britain strange would never put on the ground.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't like some massive play of consequence, but that put you behind, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: If that catches made, you're in a better spot, all that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: one of the most, you know, game changing, screw ups of the game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, maybe the.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, outside of, like, some long passes allowed, which we'll talk about as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But like, Brand Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: not being able to catch a ball over the middle on third down when he is wide the hell open.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just unacceptable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then you also did have one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't count it as a drop for Travis Hunter because he only got one hand on it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It looked like the most accurate ball, but Travis Hunter was so slow getting out of that break and they talked about that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So to me, that's a drop, too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a receiver error.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So when you have that many drops in a game, it's going to be problematic, and again, that's something that's been an issue a lot of the year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I believe the Jaguar still lead the league in drops, if not, they're very close to the top.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's just frustrating as heck, and it's like, can BTJ just not go over the middle?

  [SPEAKER_00]: And it does seem like it's always, well, not always.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It seems like it's generally in the intermediate middle of the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the one against the bingles was short.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The, sorry, I'm going to charge your flopping around over here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The one against the bingles, the alligator arms, that everybody called a hospital ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That was closer to the line of scrimmage, I believe.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He just does not have the focus in the discipline going over the middle right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the only other incompletion Trevor Lawrence through his way was kind of a dig where he slipped out of his break and it's like did he slip because he's no, he's about to go over the middle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that's a big problem.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's like he is magnificent right now on the outside.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, working the vertical route tree on the outside, thing maybe they should be and against the seahawks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that defense was just flying to the football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think they should have tried more screens against the seahawks, but maybe some teams they can get, they can do that a little bit more.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But drops and just brand-time as junior being a little too soft to go over the middle right now is very concerning overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those things where, like, against the seahawks that happened three times where you have, obviously, the seahawk called a great call, the JSN touched down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: they got him in outside leverage and stuff but still do he could have been in a better position to at least dissuade the throw or make a play on the ball down the field he jumped up and bit on a play action fake and then you had the deep over to J.S.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and where guard act didn't get his depth and then you had the

  [SPEAKER_00]: the AJ Barner one later, where again, do we bit?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so coverage discipline, specifically from Do We Wingerd, but in general, it needs to be better, like your eye discipline.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You've got to be better overall, and I know when they fire down Hill on runs, that helps them be such a good run defense team, and the jack was our very good run defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: but you can't fire so down so hard that you put in yourself at risk of getting the play action shot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's a tough kind of lying to toe for safety's especially, but you know, do he's got to figure that out and be more disciplined this upcoming week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then other than the C-Hawks game, really, there were not, there has been like one big play every week, outside of C-Hawks game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they were almost all just one on one situations with Tyson Campbell, and he's no longer here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you're hoping Greg Newsom can improve that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see how he does.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he can be stickier.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the evidence is there on tape that he can be stickier and more effective down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Tyson was in Jacksonville, but you know.

  [SPEAKER_00]: everybody's going to be on him because of what happened in the first snappy had with the jackwares which again was just an unfortunate situation against a great player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Sam Darnell to jazz in down the field this year has been so money.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would say finding adjustments quicker on defense, maybe they didn't adjust quick enough to not being able to get any pressure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They needed to start blitzing earlier in the game than they did.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's why they allowed 20 points at the beginning of the third quarter, the C-hawks scored 20 points.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't score again after that because they made a great defense of adjustment and they started playing more discipline overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You got to be able to adjust a little bit quicker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's keeping me up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: One of the biggest things, man, the offensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And what gives me some encouragement or positive thoughts in my head about this is for five out of the six weeks, the offensive line was doing the job.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I also, I don't know, but I think Robert Haines should be back for this considering he was limited and practiced on Wednesday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's been practicing for a couple of practices now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And again, that's not a ding on Jonah Monheim and what he did is a rookie having to come into a game against a really big physical talent to defensive front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just the leadership and experience and kind of calming presence that Robert Hainesy can bring out the center position as huge, but the offensive line has to bounce back in a big way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they will, the one that really scares me is Walker little.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three out of the six games of Jaguars have played, he has been very good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Chipm, I don't know if you need to do max protect looks more often, if you're trying to take a shot down the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad I'm not the coach having to deal with Jared verse and it's not just Jared verse.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've, you know, Kobe Turner on the interior, Braden Fisk, they have buyer and young who has like seven and a half sacks, I think, already this year, just insane numbers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the jackwars look, they have been a good offensive line all year,

  [SPEAKER_00]: was Seattle a sign of things to come, or a blip on the radar.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is what's keeping me up at night right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Evidence from the first five weeks tells me that it was more of a blip on the radar against a really good football team, a really good front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar didn't make the proper adjustments.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Fast enough, beat themselves up a little bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's what happens.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, that's, hmm.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, Puka Nakua, obviously, we don't know his status yet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm leaning towards him, not playing, you know, rap sheet and company reported that he was unlikely to play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think McVey is trying to keep it a little more positive, but he didn't practice on Wednesday, so we'll see his practice status moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They got somebody named Devante Adams.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Devante Adams is a Jaguar killer.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I can remember every single time De Monta Adams has played the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has, and it's been really difficult to watch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Devontay Adams not having a huge year so far.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's only caught 48% of his target so far.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been this like quick, unbelievable kind of chemistry between Devontay and Matthew Stafford and he's dropped the ball four times this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not having his best year and he's about to be 33 years old.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Even if Pook is not there, I have seen Dumante, within the last year, roast the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He and Aaron Rogers went scorched earth on the Jaguars in week 15 last year, and I know that was a completely different team, but he caught nine passes on 12 targets for 198 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars in Jacksonville last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's hard for me to get that out of my brain.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And look at what the jackwares have been allowing to number one receivers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Even this year, go back to 2022 with the Raiders.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that sounds like a line right out of a number one receivers, stat line against the jackwares this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just in the last couple times they've played scored a touchdown against the Jaguars in 2020, as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that goes back to the first time I saw him play against the Jaguars, which was opening weekend of 2016.
