  Speaker 1: want to share with you guys this morning. And these

  Speaker 1: are scriptures that I'm probably gonna be sharing for the

  Speaker 1: rest of the rest of the time that we're in
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: prayer for twenty twenty four and and that. And I

  Speaker 1: shared this to say, if you want to get your
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: joy back, these are three scriptures that you need to
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: stay on. And when I say joy, that's choosing Jesus
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: over yourself. God dropped that of our spirit a couple
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: of years ago, and I've been using that and it
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: is something that has kept me grounded even in the
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: midst in the midst of being sad, in the midst
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: of being angry, in the midst of whatever I'm going through.
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: Joy is something that the world didn't give you, and
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: the world can't take it away, and you have to findance.
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: You have to find that peace. And these are three
• 5:26
  Speaker 1: scriptures that I have been meditating on, and God keep
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: dropping my spirit, so I wanna. I wanna keep sharing
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: them and I want you to take them in and
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: to reflect on them, meditate on them. The first one
• 5:39
  Speaker 1: is relations six ' nine. Let not us be weird

  Speaker 1: and well of doing, for at the proper time we

  Speaker 1: will read a harvest if we do not give up.

  Speaker 1: This verse reminds us even when childnges come and it

  Speaker 1: it suggests us to pleasanvere and be assured that God's

  Speaker 1: word is gonna. It's gonna come to pass if we

  Speaker 1: stay on the light pass and persevere. The second one

  Speaker 1: is James one twelve. Blessed is the one who's persevere

  Speaker 1: receive the crown of life that the Lord had promised

  Speaker 1: But one thing I do forget not what lies ahead,

  Speaker 1: will not just allow them to be worse for pages,

  Speaker 3: Good morning, I bless you. It's going to thank you

  Speaker 3: for the.

  Speaker 1: Reading of God's words this morning.
• 7:30
  Speaker 3: I want to draw.
• 7:32
  Speaker 4: Our contion to Isaiah forty and thirty one, and I
• 7:39
  Speaker 4: wanted to just talk a little bit about waiting. The
• 7:43
  Speaker 4: scripture says, but they that wait upon the Lord shall
• 7:47
  Speaker 4: renew their strength. They mount up with wings as eagles.
• 7:53
  Speaker 3: They shall be weary, they shall walk, and not say
• 7:59
  Speaker 3: I want to talk to us this morning about waiting.
• 8:02
  Speaker 3: What does your waiting look like? So many times when
• 8:06
  Speaker 3: we look at the word wait, we look at the
• 8:08
  Speaker 3: word wait in our flesh, in the natural definition of wit,
• 8:15
  Speaker 3: which means to say where you are, or to delay
• 8:19
  Speaker 3: your action for a particular time or until something else happens.
• 8:29
  Speaker 3: But when we look at waiting in the spirit, when
• 8:31
  Speaker 3: we're waiting upon the Lord, that means that we are
• 8:37
  Speaker 3: actually waiting in faith. We're not waiting in flesh, We're
• 8:42
  Speaker 3: waiting in faith. And so we know that faith is
• 8:45
  Speaker 3: an action word. So we're waiting in action, not just
• 8:49
  Speaker 3: sitting doing nothing, not just sitting and just waiting for
• 8:56
  Speaker 3: another event or for something to happen. But we're waiting
• 9:00
  Speaker 3: upon the Lord, which means that we are waiting in faith.
• 9:04
  Speaker 3: It means that we're just not sitting here, but we
• 9:07
  Speaker 3: are actively waiting on God. We aren't just waiting for
• 9:12
  Speaker 3: something to change, knowing that things will only change if
• 9:17
  Speaker 3: we change or if we put some action to what
• 9:21
  Speaker 3: it is that we're looking to change in our life.
• 9:25
  Speaker 3: So when we think about waiting, we can't look at
• 9:28
  Speaker 3: waiting in the natural sense of just staying put. We
• 9:31
  Speaker 3: have to look at waiting in the sense of I'm
• 9:34
  Speaker 3: waiting for I'm waiting on God. But while I'm waiting
• 9:39
  Speaker 3: on God, I am working towards being all that He
• 9:44
  Speaker 3: has commanded me to be. It says they that wait
• 9:47
  Speaker 3: upon the Lord shall renew their strength. So if my
• 9:52
  Speaker 3: strength that has been diplinished and needs to be renewed,
• 9:55
  Speaker 3: that means that I was doing something in order to
• 9:59
  Speaker 3: spend that sh strengths in order to exert that strength.
• 10:03
  Speaker 3: So that's what we have to look at when we're
• 10:06
  Speaker 3: waiting upon the Lord. We're not just sitting, We're doing things.
• 10:10
  Speaker 3: We're actively waiting. That means that we are still spreading
• 10:14
  Speaker 3: the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That
• 10:17
  Speaker 3: means that anything that we find our hand to do,
• 10:20
  Speaker 3: we're doing it. That means that whenever we have an
• 10:23
  Speaker 3: opportunity to tell somebody about Christ, that we're telling them
• 10:28
  Speaker 3: about Christ. We're evangelizing. We're going out, we're out in
• 10:32
  Speaker 3: the streets, we're in the highways, in the hedges and
• 10:36
  Speaker 3: compelling men and women to come so that the house
• 10:39
  Speaker 3: of the Lord may be felled. When we are waiting,
• 10:43
  Speaker 3: we are actively moving for Christ. There's a song that
• 10:47
  Speaker 3: why need to buying them saying, and it used to
• 10:50
  Speaker 3: be very very popular and people would sing it all
• 10:53
  Speaker 3: the time and they would sing, I don't mind waiting
• 10:57
  Speaker 3: on the Lord. And so many times we were singing
• 11:00
  Speaker 3: that song from the perspective in our life that we
• 11:05
  Speaker 3: were singing a lie because we do mind waiting. We
• 11:08
  Speaker 3: are people that do not have patience. Our patience is
• 11:12
  Speaker 3: very short, is very thin. And so yeah, when it
• 11:16
  Speaker 3: comes time for the Lord to move on our behalf
• 11:20
  Speaker 3: or to move upon things that we have prayed for,
• 11:23
  Speaker 3: we mind waiting because we want him to move in
• 11:27
  Speaker 3: our timing and when we want it to happen, because
• 11:31
  Speaker 3: we are a microwave society and we want to see
• 11:34
  Speaker 3: things happen and occur right away. But there are times,
• 11:38
  Speaker 3: like the Scripture says, we have to wait upon the Lord,
• 11:42
  Speaker 3: and when we wait upon him, our strength is renewed.
• 11:45
  Speaker 3: That means that as I'm waiting on God, I'm still working.
• 11:50
  Speaker 3: I'm working while i am waiting because I know that
• 11:54
  Speaker 3: that's what it is going to take in order for
• 11:57
  Speaker 3: me to see the things that God has perfonse and
• 12:00
  Speaker 3: predestined for me. The Scripture tells us to work while
• 12:04
  Speaker 3: it is day, because when night comes, no man is
• 12:07
  Speaker 3: able to work. So if I am working while I
• 12:12
  Speaker 3: am waiting, that means that whatever strength that I have,
• 12:15
  Speaker 3: I'm giving it to the assignment in which I am
• 12:19
  Speaker 3: trying to fulfill while I'm waiting upon the Lord. While
• 12:23
  Speaker 3: I'm waiting upon the Lord, I'm still moving forward. I'm
• 12:26
  Speaker 3: not just sitting in one place with my mouth shut,
• 12:30
  Speaker 3: but I am proclaiming the gods from the good news
• 12:33
  Speaker 3: of Jesus Christ. I'm crying loud and sparing not. I'm
• 12:37
  Speaker 3: telling those of their transgressions so that they have an
• 12:41
  Speaker 3: opportunity to get their lives together, so that they have
• 12:44
  Speaker 3: an opportunity to refit of their sins and to turn
• 12:48
  Speaker 3: from their wicked ways. So when we think about waiting,
• 12:52
  Speaker 3: we have to erase the the regular flash vernacular of
• 13:00
  Speaker 3: sitting in one place or stay in foot, because when
• 13:04
  Speaker 3: we're waiting on the Lord, we are actively waiting. We're
• 13:07
  Speaker 3: putting our faith in action and we're moving out. We're
• 13:10
  Speaker 3: stepping out in faith. We're doing everything that we know
• 13:14
  Speaker 3: to do in order to wait for Him. So that
• 13:17
  Speaker 3: when we are looking to the heels from which comes
• 13:21
  Speaker 3: our health, we know where our help comes from. But
• 13:23
  Speaker 3: we are yet have our eyes focused on the prize.
• 13:26
  Speaker 3: We are yet looking towards the reward from heaven. And
• 13:31
  Speaker 3: so this is the thing that we have to understand.
• 13:33
  Speaker 3: We don't just sit and wait. We wait in faith.
• 13:36
  Speaker 3: We wait by doing. We wait by working, We wait
• 13:41
  Speaker 3: by speaking, We wait by doing the things that God
• 13:44
  Speaker 3: has free deston and ordained us to do. We're waiting,
• 13:48
  Speaker 3: but we are waiting in a posture of working. And
• 13:52
  Speaker 3: so when we think about having our strength renew our
• 13:56
  Speaker 3: strength will be renewed when we are waiting for Him.

  Speaker 3: So that means that whatever I'm doing, whatever I have
• 14:03
  Speaker 3: found my hands to do, whatever work that I am doing,
• 14:06
  Speaker 3: as I do it unto the Lord, I don't have
• 14:09
  Speaker 3: to worry about my strength being diminished. I don't have
• 14:13
  Speaker 3: to worry about never not having enough strength to complete
• 14:18
  Speaker 3: the task, because as I wait and work, my strength
• 14:21
  Speaker 3: is being renewed daily so that I am able to
• 14:25
  Speaker 3: continue to carry out the task in which God has
• 14:29
  Speaker 3: predestinine ordained for me to do. And so then it
• 14:33
  Speaker 3: goes on to tell us that they shall mount up
• 14:37
  Speaker 3: with wings as eagles. And so we know that one
• 14:42
  Speaker 3: thing about eagles, eagles, they don't just fly. Eagle sore,
• 14:47
  Speaker 3: ego sore. So when we think about having wings as egles,
• 14:52
  Speaker 3: that means that we're not just sitting in one place,
• 14:55
  Speaker 3: because you won't. You don't see eagles just sitting in
• 14:57
  Speaker 3: one place. You see egle sorry, and they soar and
• 15:01
  Speaker 3: they glide through the air. And one thing about an ego,
• 15:04
  Speaker 3: ego has the vision to be able to see things
• 15:07
  Speaker 3: far off in a distance. And ego is a very strong,
• 15:12
  Speaker 3: a strong animal. And so when we think about the
• 15:16
  Speaker 3: things that the enemy does and how the enemy works,
• 15:20
  Speaker 3: as eagles, we are we're not to fight the enemy
• 15:24
  Speaker 3: on the enemy's turf, but we have to cause the
• 15:26
  Speaker 3: enemy to come up to us, because we know that
• 15:30
  Speaker 3: when we are soaring as egles, we have mounted up
• 15:34
  Speaker 3: our wings because we have waged. The Lord has renewed
• 15:37
  Speaker 3: our strength. So now we are able not only to soar,
• 15:41
  Speaker 3: but we are able to fight in our own territory.
• 15:44
  Speaker 3: So we're not fighting, we're not down on the ground
• 15:47
  Speaker 3: like chickens just pecking around. But when we are going
• 15:50
  Speaker 3: in our warfare, we have to go to the height
• 15:54
  Speaker 3: in which we know that we have the victory. And
• 15:57
  Speaker 3: so we don't just stay here on this level. We
• 16:00
  Speaker 3: don't get on our enemies level, but we cause our
• 16:04
  Speaker 3: enemy to come up to us because we have been
• 16:07
  Speaker 3: ordained for warfare. But our warfare is not just down here,
• 16:13
  Speaker 3: it's not low. We deal with warfare on a different
• 16:17
  Speaker 3: level because we are able to soar, because we're able
• 16:20
  Speaker 3: to go to great heights. And so this is what
• 16:23
  Speaker 3: we have to think about in our waiting. Little Lord
• 16:26
  Speaker 3: renews our strength. He is allowing us to begin to
• 16:30
  Speaker 3: just spread our wings into soar. One thing you're not
• 16:33
  Speaker 3: gonna see an ego. You may see many other birds
• 16:37
  Speaker 3: flap their wings and they're just flapping, flap and flapping,
• 16:40
  Speaker 3: you know, all the time. But one thing about a
• 16:42
  Speaker 3: ego Ego may flap three times, one for the Father,
• 16:45
  Speaker 3: one for the Son, and one for the holy ghosts.
• 16:47
  Speaker 3: And then he is gliding. He is gliding on the
• 16:51
  Speaker 3: wings of the spirit. He is gliding. He is not
• 16:54
  Speaker 3: just flapping, flapping, flapping, but he has three good flaps.
• 16:58
  Speaker 3: And when he hit that third flap, he is in
• 17:01
  Speaker 3: the dimension where he needs to be, and he is
• 17:04
  Speaker 3: able to soar from that place. So we have to
• 17:07
  Speaker 3: learn that as eagles, we have to take our rightful place.
• 17:11
  Speaker 3: We have to get up from the low place and
• 17:13
  Speaker 3: begin to soar to the great heights that God has
• 17:17
  Speaker 3: predestined and ordained for us to be. And not only
• 17:20
  Speaker 3: shall we mount up with wings as eagles, but we
• 17:23
  Speaker 3: shall run. We shall run and not be weary. If
• 17:28
  Speaker 3: we are running, that means that we're running for our life.
• 17:32
  Speaker 3: That means that we are we have put action. See,
• 17:35
  Speaker 3: this is this is what I'm telling us about waiting
• 17:38
  Speaker 3: this morning. Wait, it's not just sitting waiting. Is doing
• 17:41
  Speaker 3: things in this cripture is letting us know that when
• 17:44
  Speaker 3: we're waiting, we're just not sitting still just looking for
• 17:48
  Speaker 3: something that happened. You know, we are actually moving. We
• 17:52
  Speaker 3: are putting our faith into action. We have mounted up
• 17:56
  Speaker 3: with wings as eagles. And now if we run, when
• 18:00
  Speaker 3: we put our feet to the ground, where we are
• 18:03
  Speaker 3: not and we're not running to mischieve, but we are
• 18:06
  Speaker 3: running up the King's highway. We're running to see what
• 18:11
  Speaker 3: the end is going to be. We are running towards
• 18:14
  Speaker 3: the things that God has already before us in life
• 18:19
  Speaker 3: for us to accomplish. Our goals are set, and we
• 18:23
  Speaker 3: are pressing towards the mark of our calling, which is
• 18:26
  Speaker 3: in Christ Jesus. We are running, and as we run,
• 18:31
  Speaker 3: if we do not get weary, we are not to
• 18:36
  Speaker 3: be weary in our running. When it looks like others
• 18:40
  Speaker 3: are passing us by in this race, we don't get weary.
• 18:44
  Speaker 3: You stay the course. You allow God to get you
• 18:49
  Speaker 3: to the place and where you need to be. Don't
• 18:52
  Speaker 3: try to outrun God. So many times we have the
• 18:56
  Speaker 3: visions and we'll try to outrun him by by doing
• 19:01
  Speaker 3: things that will try to bring the vision to pass
• 19:05
  Speaker 3: in a more expedited way. But we have to wait
• 19:08
  Speaker 3: for patience. We have to know that as we are
• 19:12
  Speaker 3: just steadily moving, we're moving towards what God has called
• 19:16
  Speaker 3: us to. We can't get weary, we can't get weary
• 19:20
  Speaker 3: when it seems like others are passing us by. We
• 19:23
  Speaker 3: can't get weary when it seems like our vision is
• 19:27
  Speaker 3: it's slowly coming to pass, while it seems like others
• 19:31
  Speaker 3: their stuff is just moving expeditiously throughout the earth, and
• 19:35
  Speaker 3: it seems as if they take one step and then
• 19:38
  Speaker 3: they have accomplished some hundred We can't be worried about
• 19:41
  Speaker 3: what is going on with others. If we are running
• 19:44
  Speaker 3: the race in which God has said before us, it
• 19:47
  Speaker 3: does not matter. It doesn't matter how fast we go.
