De Vries Shoulder Surgery Update | Oakland Athletics News
Top prospect Leo De Vries, the A’s 1 prospect and MLB Pipeline’s 2 overall player, underwent shoulder surgery in Arlington to address instability — a major setback for the 19-year-old who was crushing it in Double-A with a .290 average, 13 homers, and 34 steals. Acquired from the Padres last July in the Mason Miller trade, De Vries is now headed to Arizona for rehab, with the team targeting a return by early 2027. Though recovery will be long, his youth and talent give the A’s hope for a strong comeback down the line. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
