- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists.
- 0:06Speaker 1: This week we're taking on the newest trend in Hollywood.
- 0:11Speaker 1: That's right, we're taking on the vertical.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Vertical micro dramas are the hottest thing to hit your
- 0:18Speaker 2: phones now, a seven billion dollar industry as estimated at
- 0:22Speaker 2: the time of this recording, and probably more by the
- 0:24Speaker 2: time you're watching it. These are tiny, bite sized shows
- 0:28Speaker 2: that last for twenty to one hundred to three hundred episodes,
- 0:31Speaker 2: that are single handedly employing many people in Hollywood, but
- 0:36Speaker 2: at what cost.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Like them or not, Verticals are here to stay, and
- 0:41Speaker 3: they are being called the soap opera of tomorrow. So
- 0:45Speaker 3: we sat down today with the writer's room of the
- 0:48Speaker 3: next hit vertical.
- 0:51Speaker 4: So pull up, slide up, let's listen.
- 0:55Speaker 5: In all right, let's go, let's get through it. Wow,
- 1:01Speaker 5: we gotta get moving, We gotta get moving.
- 1:03Speaker 2: By the time took you guys to set this up,
- 1:04Speaker 2: we could have probably shot thirty forty episodes.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's seven thirty am and we haven't even written one
- 1:09Speaker 1: thing yet. What do we even doing?
- 1:10Speaker 3: This is so weird, it's so weird to just kind
- 1:13Speaker 3: of relax into the day.
- 1:14Speaker 5: It's ridiculous. I feel like I'm wasting my freaking time
- 1:17Speaker 5: right now.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I know, I'm already seven coffees deep, right, and my
- 1:20Speaker 3: boyfriend is in Alpha and by this point I'm thirty
- 1:23Speaker 3: episodes in.
- 1:23Speaker 4: What are we doing?
- 1:26Speaker 6: I think the difference between seven and seven and thirty
- 1:28Speaker 6: is that boyfriend going to college, meeting four different people,
- 1:31Speaker 6: then being in a marriage.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Yeah, by this point, we've already gone back in time.
- 1:35Speaker 3: He's divorced, he's had a baby, the baby has grown
- 1:38Speaker 3: grown up to be the hotter version of him.
- 1:40Speaker 4: They've kissed, yes, and then and then we order lunch.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Absolutely, and that's it. When we get Mendo.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I wish we could get Wendo, so munch, we could
- 1:49Speaker 2: get computer right now, Google men casino.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You know my gripe with Mendosino farms about why do
- 1:57Speaker 3: they wait until like ten thirty to open?
- 2:00Speaker 5: Literally, I want lunch at nine.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I want I want the little crumbles of not so
- 2:06Speaker 6: fried all over.
- 2:07Speaker 4: We can at our company to figure about that rocks sometimes.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Our company rocks.
- 2:12Speaker 2: We don't take lunch at a specific time. We take
- 2:14Speaker 2: lunch when we finished a certain amount of things. So
- 2:17Speaker 2: when we when we're done with eighty episodes. We eat,
- 2:19Speaker 2: we eat, what time it.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Is we do?
- 2:22Speaker 6: We do an eighty to lunch you know, yeah, verticals
- 2:28Speaker 6: intermitted fasting where you don't really eat lunch at a
- 2:31Speaker 6: certain time. That's every day you lunch at a certain
- 2:34Speaker 6: cap of episode.
- 2:35Speaker 3: We do it sort of like you know how in
- 2:38Speaker 3: California there's a restaurant law where you have to It's
- 2:41Speaker 3: called uh taking your you have to lunch at six
- 2:44Speaker 3: Basically you have to take a lunch at six outs
- 2:48Speaker 3: California Lunch.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Laws, California lunch law. Google it, you guys know lawyers
- 2:57Speaker 5: to google.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Lunch.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You can write down what you need to google and
- 3:02Speaker 2: google it later. Just make sure you google it.
- 3:04Speaker 6: God, I want to thank those brave politicians for getting
- 3:07Speaker 6: together every week and organizing the California Lunch Law.
- 3:12Speaker 1: And I can't stand this party of lunch. No lawyers, lunch,
- 3:17Speaker 1: no lawyers. They are pushing against lunch law. Lunch, no lawyers, lunch,
- 3:22Speaker 1: no layer. They just want lunch.
- 3:23Speaker 5: They don't lawyers involved. They're taking a paycheck and they're
- 3:26Speaker 5: taking away all lunch.
- 3:27Speaker 2: If you have a lawyer that's telling you you don't
- 3:29Speaker 2: need to have lunch, telling me, get the funk out
- 3:31Speaker 2: of you, out of.
- 3:33Speaker 4: This damn state.
- 3:34Speaker 3: I keep telling you you have to go like lause,
- 3:38Speaker 3: It's like I'm being shackled.
- 3:41Speaker 4: He what Cory Brooker said during the filibuster about the
- 3:43Speaker 4: lunch law.
- 3:45Speaker 5: He went that he went to town.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Why Booker goes to town.
- 3:53Speaker 5: It's like, oh, it's like he's going to figure it
- 3:56Speaker 5: out anyway.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Okay, we're in good hands anyway.
- 3:58Speaker 5: So we write vertical.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Verticals are kind of like the newest hot thing. It's amazing.
- 4:03Speaker 1: We are on your phone, wait, the newest channel.
- 4:05Speaker 5: We even set a channel name. Yes, okay, ok't Shorty
- 4:09Speaker 5: for life.
- 4:10Speaker 1: We are Shorty for life, Shorty for life, Shorty for life,
- 4:13Speaker 1: Shorty for life.
- 4:14Speaker 4: We're Shorty for life.
- 4:15Speaker 6: And yeah, I think, what's so important about Shorty for life?
- 4:18Speaker 6: One of my favorite things that I feel like, maybe
- 4:20Speaker 6: because I'm just like a girly girl, but shorty also
- 4:23Speaker 6: like early when I was in high school, shorty meant
- 4:25Speaker 6: like love ye like my love.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yes, and Shorty for Life. It's like we are shorties.
- 4:30Speaker 2: We're showing you shorties loving verticals that we made about life.
- 4:35Speaker 5: So it's Shorty for Life. So basically a vertical.
- 4:37Speaker 1: If you don't know, it's like the videos that you
- 4:39Speaker 1: get on your phone that are like broken up into
- 4:41Speaker 1: a million parts. You're like, kind of, what is going
- 4:42Speaker 1: on here? I'm trying to grab Are they hooking up?
- 4:45Speaker 5: My boss is a vampire, My vampire is a doctor.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Dad's friend is an alpha, Like it's sort of there's
- 4:52Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of Dad's Friend because we make
- 4:54Speaker 3: them go ahead.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Literally, There's something so amazing about them is once you
- 4:57Speaker 1: find it, you can't leave it. You have to go
- 4:59Speaker 1: back and w all the parts before and you have
- 5:01Speaker 1: to see if there's.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Any more everything.
- 5:03Speaker 6: Like the other day, I was like, I put on
- 5:05Speaker 6: Hunting Wives on Netflix and I went eight.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Episodes an hour long.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Life goes on.
- 5:12Speaker 5: So long, ridiculous.
- 5:14Speaker 6: I want to see what happens to every single character
- 5:17Speaker 6: I meet when they go to fifth grade, sixth grade,
- 5:18Speaker 6: seventh grade, eighth grade, ninth grade, tenth grade, eleventh grade,
- 5:21Speaker 6: twelfth grade, college college, gap year college, another, gap, yere travel,
- 5:26Speaker 6: summer ware, fall verticals.
- 5:29Speaker 5: It's amazing too, I mean it's beautiful and thank you
- 5:31Speaker 5: so much, and we.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Do all those we do all those.
- 5:35Speaker 5: We miss summer talk about grad school. Yeah, somem's too
- 5:38Speaker 5: hard to shoot. Right. Let me tell you, I think
- 5:41Speaker 5: one of my favorite things is what you don't know
- 5:43Speaker 5: about this.
- 5:43Speaker 2: The secret of the algorithm is we're working directly with
- 5:46Speaker 2: these algorithms to kind of our verticals imprint on you
- 5:51Speaker 2: like they're a baby bird and you are their mother.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So yes, it doesn't let go, It'll come back to you.
- 5:57Speaker 5: And that's what's kind of beautiful about it. Yes, you
- 6:00Speaker 5: don't know that.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Episodes one through eight of every series are sort of
- 6:03Speaker 3: our claw, our claw. That's when we're sinking your teeth
- 6:09Speaker 3: into a baby, right. We are grabbing you and we
- 6:12Speaker 3: are clutching you, and you're gonna have no choice but
- 6:15Speaker 3: to come on back because this is heroin.
- 6:18Speaker 4: You can swipe.
- 6:21Speaker 6: And it's also like you look at like like someone
- 6:24Speaker 6: running a sprint. You're like, it ends there. We are
- 6:27Speaker 6: running marathons.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And we're running marathons fast as fucking flow, and steady
- 6:36Speaker 2: does not win the swee No, Honestly, we make Ryan
- 6:39Speaker 2: Murphy look like John Luke Godard solo we love. We
- 6:43Speaker 2: make American horror story look like the Ingmar Bergman film
- 6:46Speaker 2: with the Devil on the Beach.
- 6:48Speaker 1: We are going fast we're moving babies, So why don't
- 6:52Speaker 1: we talking about some favorite series.
- 6:54Speaker 3: We'd say our names and then and then let's talk
- 6:57Speaker 3: about our series.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Want you say your name in your the series that
- 7:00Speaker 5: you're most proud of? Yes, and a cliffhanger and a
- 7:03Speaker 5: cliffhanger and a cliffhanger.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Okay, so name.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Okay, so name name series, series.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Abs and your favorite lunch law that could be a cliffhanger.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Well, Hi, I am Leslie Fastbone. I am.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Leslie Fastbone is in the house, Leslie fast Bone.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Come on, Leslie fast Bone. Yeah, I'm Leslie fast I'm
- 7:41Speaker 4: Leslie Fastbone. Proud of it. My father was uh.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Johnny Fastbone, and he was a major league baseball player.
- 7:50Speaker 4: But we don't have time to get into that. We
- 7:53Speaker 4: sot as. We call you the flashbone because she rightes
- 7:55Speaker 4: so fast.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Absolutely, it's crazy that we changed it because fast is
- 7:59Speaker 1: right there.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Slash is faster than fast. Flash is the speed of light.
- 8:04Speaker 5: We could just show you fast because you write so fast.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Week it's a fact, flashes faster than fast.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Leslie Fastbone and I do a lot of the wolf stuff.
- 8:17Speaker 3: My dad's friend is a wolf. It was my my
- 8:21Speaker 3: holy grail that kind of pill it. That's putting my
- 8:24Speaker 3: future kids, who are their eggs right now?
- 8:26Speaker 4: They're frozen.
- 8:27Speaker 5: My kids.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Thank you so much. I'm really excited. I can't wait
- 8:31Speaker 3: to pop these out. I'm going to roll the dice,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and whatever the dice say, that's the year I'm gonna
- 8:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna start doing this.
- 8:38Speaker 5: Whoa, whoa? How big is? How do you roll this dice?
- 8:43Speaker 5: You know what?
- 8:43Speaker 1: We don't have time to get into it.
- 8:49Speaker 6: I just have every age you could be.
- 8:51Speaker 4: So I'm rolling for numbers. So I'm rolling for every
- 8:54Speaker 4: letterary like one, seven, two thousand.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Well I'll keep two thousand no matter what, because otherwise
- 9:00Speaker 3: we'd be here all day. So it'll be the year
- 9:02Speaker 3: of So I'll roll for like I'm ideally like, if
- 9:05Speaker 3: it's four, then three twenty forty three is when I
- 9:08Speaker 3: pop open the eggs.
- 9:10Speaker 5: You gotta let us know.
- 9:11Speaker 3: We want to come the dice on Friday.
- 9:17Speaker 5: We have to be there.
- 9:18Speaker 4: It's gonna be huge.
- 9:19Speaker 3: But I do a lot of the wolf stuff. My
- 9:20Speaker 3: dad's friend is a wolf. It's about this sexy girl
- 9:23Speaker 3: who's you know, being pursued by her dad's friend who
- 9:26Speaker 3: is turning into a wolf. And they shouldn't be together
- 9:29Speaker 3: because you know, that's my dad's friend. I can't be
- 9:32Speaker 3: with him. That's my dad's friend. That's like incestual in
- 9:36Speaker 3: a way.
- 9:38Speaker 5: But hual, not the weird age difference.
- 9:44Speaker 6: No no, no, no no no.
- 9:46Speaker 3: A dad's friend is kind of like blood. But I
- 9:49Speaker 3: would say the cliffhanger is we're walking, we're walking, we're stopped.
- 9:56Speaker 3: We're staring at each other. We're staring, we're staring, We're staring.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Dad's friend is here, I'm here. The full moon is
- 10:03Speaker 3: rising and his eyes changed to golden amber. Shirt flies off,
- 10:10Speaker 3: whoa whoa cliffhanger?
- 10:12Speaker 5: What's gonna happen? What's gonna happen next? If he's gonna
- 10:14Speaker 5: become a weir wold and he probably is gonna have.
- 10:17Speaker 3: That's why it's a cliffhanger. Shirt flies off. We suck
- 10:20Speaker 3: it out through a big vacuum.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Yeah, we gotta talk about our tricks. Will you get there?
- 10:26Speaker 2: We got to introduce every vertical company has a big vacuum.
- 10:30Speaker 5: The secton shirts off.
- 10:32Speaker 6: That vacuum is my favorite thing to turn on when
- 10:34Speaker 6: it's hot.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Oh yeah, oh yeah. People think it blows torch. You know,
- 10:40Speaker 5: it sucks the hot way. It sucks your body heat away.
- 10:45Speaker 2: We it's me, Hi, guys, my name is Denny corn Corn.
- 10:52Speaker 2: It's great to see you, guys. It's been really fun
- 10:54Speaker 2: to be here. I uh am the oldest guy in
- 10:57Speaker 2: the bunch. I'm forty two years old. I come from
- 11:00Speaker 2: New York City, Brooklyn. I kind of from bacon con Corny.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Concorney Island is what they used to call king on
- 11:08Speaker 2: Concorney Island, Corney Island.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Take the queue down to corn Corney Island.
- 11:15Speaker 5: And I do all the pool boys stuff.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I do the stuff with the guys that are just
- 11:19Speaker 2: like nerdy guy meets falls in love with the pool boy.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I do a lot of young gay stuff. It's really fun.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's a good time. Uh it's it's nice, you know,
- 11:29Speaker 2: it's fun. I like the.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Gay stuff because it goes faster.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Episode three, I got stuff to move.
- 11:36Speaker 4: It goes so fast it's almost made for verticals.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Well that's the thing. Yeah, gay people move fast. That's
- 11:42Speaker 5: what I've been learning.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Google and Farms, then Lunch California and the
- 11:48Speaker 2: gay feed of gay.
- 11:50Speaker 5: People, Feed of gay people?
- 11:51Speaker 3: How fast can I look up Cheetah speed for reference?
- 11:55Speaker 4: And then the gay people.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It's fun about this. You know, it's the same gender, right, boy, boy,
- 12:00Speaker 2: girl girl, So they don't have to don't have to
- 12:02Speaker 2: deal with all the differences.
- 12:04Speaker 5: What are you trying to learn? Exactly? Go straight to it.
- 12:07Speaker 4: They don't.
- 12:08Speaker 3: They skip all the scenes where you know, in my
- 12:11Speaker 3: line of work, there's lots of scenes where the woman
- 12:13Speaker 3: is staring at the man, kind of like mystified because.
- 12:18Speaker 6: But with yours, they know immediately working on the gay ones,
- 12:22Speaker 6: it's you.
- 12:22Speaker 2: It's the same part. They're done to themselves. They can
- 12:25Speaker 2: do it to each other. You don't they know.
- 12:27Speaker 5: It's so easy. It's amazing, it's awesome. It's awesome.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And also this is actually a really crazy time. I
- 12:34Speaker 2: can't believe I'm gonna do this right now.
- 12:37Speaker 5: I'm gay.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Wow.
- 12:39Speaker 5: They never came out before.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Oh my god. And what's your wife gonna do?
- 12:43Speaker 2: My wife is don't tell her, don't you know, don't
- 12:46Speaker 2: tell them, my wife don't know.
- 12:54Speaker 5: We'll talk about it. I love her, I mean, she
- 12:56Speaker 5: comes off all the time.
- 12:57Speaker 2: She brings all those I love Janets, she brings all
- 13:00Speaker 2: those out those.
- 13:03Speaker 5: You guys love. Yeah, I love.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It's such a shame you're gay because her marsa Pan
- 13:13Speaker 3: is so good.
- 13:13Speaker 4: I'm gonna miss it.
- 13:14Speaker 5: I know, well, Hey, we.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Can figure sure you're gay? I don't.
- 13:18Speaker 5: I don't want to get divorce. I'm going to get
- 13:21Speaker 5: to mars Pan. She needs something arrangement.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Are you sure.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Anyway?
- 13:30Speaker 4: Shame you're gay? We're gonna miss shame. Oh bummer, I
- 13:35Speaker 4: mean love, but like man, she don't.
- 13:39Speaker 5: Make me no margin pan, no more. That's homophobic.
- 13:41Speaker 4: You think you could get the recipe.
- 13:44Speaker 5: I think you could sneak me the recipe before. It's
- 13:46Speaker 5: something in the nails. She puts the.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Nail anyway, Hi, I'm deemed a chasire and I kind
- 13:58Speaker 1: of do The verticals primarily about the Chin dynasty, ceramics
- 14:01Speaker 1: and jade market. It's mostly the kids, you know, focused
- 14:09Speaker 1: that they can see jade through rocks, teens market sendlers
- 14:15Speaker 1: and vendors that can see jade through rock or are
- 14:18Speaker 1: good at picking out real ceramics versus fake ceramics.
- 14:21Speaker 5: It's really exciting stuff.
- 14:23Speaker 2: You've given an homage to the people who kind of
- 14:25Speaker 2: founded the vertical history.
- 14:27Speaker 5: The Chinese. Yes, the Chinese.
- 14:29Speaker 2: We have to pay are found of the medium Chinese people.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yes, the vertical did kind of originally develop in China
- 14:40Speaker 1: and India.
- 14:40Speaker 5: I believe to people everything the algorithm has taught.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Us that like the like people in America really have
- 14:49Speaker 1: no concept or understanding of what jade is. But they
- 14:52Speaker 1: are hooked and they are and they love learning. They
- 14:55Speaker 1: love the idea of rock getting cut and revealing a green.
- 15:00Speaker 5: It is really exciting. So I'm kind of developing.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I mean, my favorite is little Boy who has sight
- 15:06Speaker 1: for jade, and it is amazing what we're doing with that.
- 15:10Speaker 5: That beautiful story.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Sort of that's so raven of this generation, right you
- 15:17Speaker 3: see him seeing the jade, and it's like, how is
- 15:21Speaker 3: this going to interact with him going to high school?
- 15:22Speaker 4: How is he going to fall in love?
- 15:23Speaker 1: How is he ever, how was he going to save
- 15:25Speaker 1: his mom from being sold to a richer family because
- 15:28Speaker 1: they don't see jade.
- 15:29Speaker 4: You know.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's like I'm getting into the political understanding of these
- 15:34Speaker 1: these these people and these families.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Political understanding is so important, yes, And I'm trying to
- 15:38Speaker 6: get into the basic understanding because I forget everyone can
- 15:41Speaker 6: see jade.
- 15:42Speaker 5: So I'm a little confused, as do I only the
- 15:44Speaker 5: boy stories.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Because only the boy kid, because it's buried in rock
- 15:47Speaker 1: so like that's the whole You see it through the rock.
- 15:50Speaker 5: He can see it through the rock.
- 15:52Speaker 4: So it sounds like our office meeting.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Okay, I every week I have to re explain how
- 15:57Speaker 1: jade works and the jade market betting is kind of
- 16:00Speaker 1: world works. It's really exciting stuff and I'm really excited
- 16:03Speaker 1: to develop are new and I don't want to say it,
- 16:06Speaker 1: so I'll leave.
- 16:07Speaker 5: You with a cliffhanger. What if I killed a woman?
- 16:13Speaker 4: What if?
- 16:15Speaker 5: Very funny, interesting imagination on this one.
- 16:18Speaker 4: Interesting interesting what if? Okay, and that's because I just
- 16:25Speaker 4: got cold, sort of chill. Someone give me some Marvan.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I don't feel good. What's some guys, what's he gonna do?
- 16:39Speaker 5: That was just a funny, little joke, A little joking.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Okay, okay, Wow, what's up, guys. My name is Bellatrix, Justine.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Patricks just you were named after the Harry Potter care I.
- 16:56Speaker 6: I yeah, I'm from Fort Lauderdale. Well, I am kind.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Of the writer's assistant.
- 17:02Speaker 6: I'm the youngest one here, but I am trying to
- 17:05Speaker 6: get in the I love verticals. I love writing. I
- 17:08Speaker 6: love writing about love, I love writing about cheating. I
- 17:11Speaker 6: love writing about so much stuff. I'm doing a lot
- 17:13Speaker 6: of the ugly girl stuff right now, and I'm getting
- 17:16Speaker 6: I'm getting up the hang of it.
- 17:18Speaker 4: We all started on right, Yeah, we.
- 17:21Speaker 5: All start cut your teeth on ugly girl.
- 17:23Speaker 3: You cut your teeth on a ugly girl, and then
- 17:26Speaker 3: once in a and everyone's you're gonna You're gonna work
- 17:28Speaker 3: your way up to supermodel dad stuff pretty soon.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I just want to get in the dad's space.
- 17:34Speaker 5: I really do eazy.
- 17:36Speaker 6: I know I have to go slow. I I what
- 17:38Speaker 6: can I say? I love to write.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I love your series Glasses girl is. I mean, it's
- 17:44Speaker 3: popping off like you so much.
- 17:46Speaker 4: It's it's looking really good.
- 17:48Speaker 6: I remember sending you this spec yeah, and it was
- 17:52Speaker 6: like one sentence and you loved it.
- 17:56Speaker 5: Well.
- 17:56Speaker 3: The sentence was and I don't want to I mean,
- 17:59Speaker 3: it really stopped me in my tracks, and I'm like,
- 18:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna want to swipe that to stop you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Our your sass. When you get something written and you
- 18:08Speaker 1: try to swipe it, you know it's good.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It's like I was trying to swipe this sentence and
- 18:16Speaker 3: I called you immediately and I said, we have to.
- 18:18Speaker 6: Do It's so hard with Google doc too. When you
- 18:19Speaker 6: send somebody a Google doc and it's a sentence and
- 18:21Speaker 6: you start swiping, You're like, oh my god, where is it?
- 18:23Speaker 4: Because then you lose it. And the sentence was ugly
- 18:26Speaker 4: glasses girl me hot God?
- 18:31Speaker 5: That was I mean, that's the kind of stuff.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That's literally one of the best freshest stories I've ever before.
- 18:37Speaker 6: I think, what you need to do that I've been finding.
- 18:40Speaker 6: First of all, not all who under are lost? Oh
- 18:43Speaker 6: and number two I love that. Yes, And number two
- 18:45Speaker 6: i'd say with a knife, literally, And then I would say.
- 18:49Speaker 5: Cut me open with a freaking knife.
- 18:50Speaker 6: You have to be as daring as to think of
- 18:53Speaker 6: an ugly girl and go, is it possible someone could
- 18:58Speaker 6: look at her differently?
- 18:59Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 18:59Speaker 4: Is it possible?
- 19:01Speaker 5: Now in real life? In these stories, in.
- 19:04Speaker 3: A real life it would be like a sort of
- 19:06Speaker 3: sick perversion to data ugly girls.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Literally, And you have to be brave enough. You be
- 19:11Speaker 6: brave enough to go there for verticals.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Literally.
- 19:15Speaker 1: That's what I like about this. We're cutting edge. We're
- 19:18Speaker 1: not afraid to push the envelope of what is appropriate,
- 19:22Speaker 1: what's not appropriate. It's not appropriate sometimes for a little
- 19:25Speaker 1: boy to see jade through rock, But I want to
- 19:28Speaker 1: push the envelope they'll get that, and this.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Is playing on I'm so glad you're here because this
- 19:34Speaker 3: is playing on some cultural knowledge that I would say,
- 19:37Speaker 3: I do have a knowledge gap in I'm not aware
- 19:41Speaker 3: of the nuances of why it would be unacceptable for
- 19:44Speaker 3: him to see jade.
- 19:45Speaker 4: It seems like kind of cool.
- 19:47Speaker 5: It would be.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Like really really dangerous. Can you explain the stakes shouldn't
- 19:59Speaker 1: be allowed? It's dangerous, But to young he doesn't have
- 20:03Speaker 1: the experience of knowing the weight, the feel of when
- 20:07Speaker 1: you have a rock that has jade in it, you
- 20:09Speaker 1: don't understand.
- 20:10Speaker 5: I want to hear your cliffhang about what's.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Mm hmm mm hmm. Come on, you got it?
- 20:22Speaker 5: I promise remember mine? How can we forget?
- 20:26Speaker 7: It?
- 20:26Speaker 5: Doesn't matter what you say? Already on my phone?
- 20:30Speaker 4: What's yours? You're gay? Okay, I'd say mine is nervous?
- 20:36Speaker 6: Come on, nervous?
- 20:38Speaker 5: Come on?
- 20:38Speaker 4: I mean the brace is when you sent it was
- 20:40Speaker 4: so good.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Oh the braces one, Oh theff.
- 20:44Speaker 4: I like to kiss boys with braces.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a good cliffhanger. The beginnings of a king life.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Did you imagine a metal king?
- 20:57Speaker 5: A sort of can you imagine that? The episode comes
- 21:00Speaker 5: to an end.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You don't know what she's about, right, and she says,
- 21:02Speaker 1: I like to kisse boys with braces.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Boom, I'm in And then I already know if there's
- 21:07Speaker 3: gonna be there's gonna be someone in the future.
- 21:10Speaker 1: This is the funnest thing about our cliffhangers is half
- 21:13Speaker 1: of them don't even count as cliffhanger.
- 21:15Speaker 5: We just add music and it becomes a cliff.
- 21:17Speaker 3: We experienced real shorts watcher or or or a vertical watcher.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Will know the signs.
- 21:24Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, this is going to lead to something I
- 21:27Speaker 5: don't want to say before we move on. Bella Tricks.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You're so helpful because you have a young gun in
- 21:31Speaker 2: the office and you always make us do the little
- 21:34Speaker 2: trends on TikTok and stuff.
- 21:35Speaker 5: You're keeping us hip. So we learned about this. Yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 5: boom boom, we say cliffhangers for coming up.
- 21:50Speaker 4: God, it doesn't sound like to sound, but I know
- 21:52Speaker 4: what sound we're going for, and.
- 21:53Speaker 5: It doesn't sound like at all, so hard.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Bing bong can't.
- 22:02Speaker 5: Oh, I got it. I think we're good guys. I
- 22:07Speaker 5: think we're good.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Echo, echo, you know what we're saying.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I think this is a good time to point out
- 22:18Speaker 3: though you know your your trends are making us relatable.
- 22:22Speaker 3: And and I think that there's been some questions in
- 22:25Speaker 3: the industry of like, do we like these verticals?
- 22:28Speaker 4: Are they the new guy in town? Are we happy
- 22:31Speaker 4: about it?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Like?
- 22:32Speaker 3: And I think there's a little bit of animosity towards
- 22:34Speaker 3: the people who have I don't know, unions and like
- 22:38Speaker 3: and a certain amount that you pay people and all
- 22:40Speaker 3: this like weird nonsense that like, I think that we're
- 22:43Speaker 3: not really concerned with because we're too busy making these
- 22:47Speaker 3: things right.
- 22:47Speaker 2: People bringing jobs in a town you walk around, these
- 22:51Speaker 2: fox lots might as well be a farmer's market.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Everybody's bringing in, bringing in that.
- 22:56Speaker 4: You gotta put something in there.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Detroit in nineteen fifties, holding off. That's it to an
- 23:03Speaker 1: old ideal that just doesn't exist anymore. The studio system
- 23:08Speaker 1: is Detroit in the nineteen fifties. Guess what the automobile
- 23:11Speaker 1: industry is a change.
- 23:13Speaker 2: In I walked into Stage four and Warner Brothers. You
- 23:15Speaker 2: know what they shot that nineteen ninety seven Titanic. You
- 23:18Speaker 2: know what's in there, Kira.
- 23:21Speaker 4: It's not all I'll say, like we've been demonized.
- 23:24Speaker 3: It's not Alpha Wolf's fault that big Tech bought up all.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Your stuff fault, it's not fault and made it Netflix
- 23:32Speaker 4: and made it other things.
- 23:34Speaker 3: And then and then, due to a bunch of series
- 23:36Speaker 3: of graphs and economics, I no longer make sense. It's
- 23:41Speaker 3: not Alpha Wolf's fault. So why are we mad at
- 23:44Speaker 3: Alpha Wolf?
- 23:45Speaker 4: Literally for coming on it?
- 23:47Speaker 6: Literally?
- 23:47Speaker 5: Are we using unions? No?
- 23:49Speaker 4: No steps?
- 23:52Speaker 5: Do we walked?
- 23:52Speaker 4: Toga is stinking?
- 23:54Speaker 6: Yes, it's And try to put the WGA in a
- 23:58Speaker 6: room with us.
- 24:00Speaker 5: Are old, they're old as hell, and we're.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Like trying to communicate. They don't understand how we write.
- 24:07Speaker 6: We write so fast, we don't need final draft. We
- 24:10Speaker 6: use notes app And this is the thing with Hollywood.
- 24:13Speaker 6: If there't vertical, they'll make a quibi. They'll turn a
- 24:17Speaker 6: vertical into gnivy.
- 24:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Oh, they'll see what you're doing.
- 24:20Speaker 6: With ub I see what you're doing. You can't green
- 24:23Speaker 6: light over there. They're trying to green light stuff. That's
- 24:26Speaker 6: how many drafts you guys, all draft over draft. That's
- 24:30Speaker 6: like making a cookie and going let's revise it. Let's
- 24:33Speaker 6: revise it the same cookie.
- 24:35Speaker 3: I'll say, we don't we're not totally free of regulation.
- 24:39Speaker 3: We have one regulation in our industry, which is no
- 24:42Speaker 3: second drafts allowed, and that just helps you guys.
- 24:47Speaker 2: When we're saving storage space on our freaking computers.
- 24:50Speaker 5: If there's a typo, we shoot the typo and fix
- 24:53Speaker 5: it with a I. Yes, we grow up, grow up.
- 24:58Speaker 5: We'll change the answers. Rapp say the wrong thing with AI.
- 25:02Speaker 4: We don't even change the mouth.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Sometimes it's just like, yeah, it's saying Hamburger, but it's
- 25:07Speaker 3: mouthing Lisa, and I think that's fine.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Sometimes we shoot the wrong character because we called the
- 25:12Speaker 6: wrong actor in that day, and we fits it with AI.
- 25:15Speaker 2: You guys are you guys are specifically referencing when I
- 25:18Speaker 2: accidentally named somebody Hamburger because I was hungry, and we
- 25:22Speaker 2: changed your name to Lisa.
- 25:24Speaker 4: After we shot Hamburger for Lisa on the.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Day, we were like, what, we don't have time, Just
- 25:30Speaker 5: keep going.
- 25:31Speaker 6: You guys think you're so cool in Hollywood shooting Chatsworth
- 25:34Speaker 6: for Dubai. We're shooting Hamburger.
- 25:37Speaker 5: For Lisa and we're shooting in Dubai and we don't work.
- 25:43Speaker 4: We like it there.
- 25:44Speaker 3: And it always comes back to our forward slogan that
- 25:46Speaker 3: we love so much, which is you'll watch it anyway,
- 25:50Speaker 3: what are we even talking about?
- 25:53Speaker 4: Why w I A? Why w I A? Why w
- 26:00Speaker 4: you'll watch you are?
- 26:01Speaker 5: It's fast?
- 26:07Speaker 2: You always curious like, oh no, what if the unions
- 26:12Speaker 2: they protect your lunch, they protect your food, you'll protect
- 26:14Speaker 2: your bathroom breaks.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Guess what? We got better snacks you haven't seen anywhere else.
- 26:19Speaker 5: We got those.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Really good oreoles from Japan, the green teeth flavored ones.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I also love.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Having no bathroom breaks because it helps me write better.
- 26:26Speaker 6: I write faster and weirder.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Noah, could the unions figure out how to get their
- 26:31Speaker 1: act together and figure out how to make these verticals
- 26:34Speaker 1: work within the union standard?
- 26:36Speaker 5: Yes, but they're.
- 26:37Speaker 4: Not going to that's like trying to, like.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Tryer stuck on figuring out how to send somebody to
- 26:43Speaker 1: set to make sure you're okay.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Really then not making contracts, they're making visits. They can't
- 26:51Speaker 8: take a picture next to next to the et. Grow up,
- 26:56Speaker 8: they're not.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Coming Okay, guys, okay, let's go back.
- 27:03Speaker 4: We get a little.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Guys, we get a little heated, we get a little let's.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Talk about I mean, let's come on, let's just jump
- 27:14Speaker 1: in to it.
- 27:15Speaker 5: What's your guys, magic way of doing it? Oh my gosh.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Well, for me, when it comes up with ideas, I
- 27:20Speaker 2: just go down the family line. So it's like, oh
- 27:23Speaker 2: pooor boy kiss his brother, pool boy kiss his sister,
- 27:26Speaker 2: pool boy kiss his dad, pool because his wife, pool
- 27:28Speaker 2: boy kisses mother, grandpa, uncle, great uncle, cousin, second cousin.
- 27:33Speaker 6: I love that, because each of us have our own way.
- 27:35Speaker 6: I do that with grades. I go ugly girl in
- 27:38Speaker 6: third grade, go in fourth grade, girl in fifth grade,
- 27:40Speaker 6: sixth grade, seventh grade.
- 27:41Speaker 4: It's a different kind of ugly girl each time. But
- 27:44Speaker 4: we each we each have a style. Right, So you
- 27:46Speaker 4: do you do family? I do grades.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I look on porn hub and I basically reverse engineer
- 27:52Speaker 3: the worst thing I've ever seen.
- 27:54Speaker 4: So I start with the most upsetting.
- 27:58Speaker 5: The worst thing you've ever seen.
- 28:00Speaker 3: And I don't think I can say it without getting demodetized.
- 28:04Speaker 3: My big YouTube and their man and their shackles by
- 28:08Speaker 3: their long videos.
- 28:11Speaker 5: We don't need your money, by the way, we don't need.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Let's talk about YouTube.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Let's talk about horizontals.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'll even get started doing. Why do I want most
- 28:23Speaker 1: of the frame to not be the main person?
- 28:25Speaker 5: I know you know what I saw?
- 28:26Speaker 2: I saw horizontal? I hated the other day. By the way,
- 28:28Speaker 2: Shinl's list horrible horizontals.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, I saw fat You know what horizontal?
- 28:36Speaker 4: I could not figure out weapons because why do you see?
- 28:40Speaker 4: Why do you see that much of their arms going
- 28:43Speaker 4: out like this? Doesn't make any sense.
- 28:45Speaker 6: I saw a horizontal that made me barf yesterday, Pride
- 28:47Speaker 6: and Prejudice, you're seeing so much.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Fue ridiculous, I go, ridiculous.
- 28:51Speaker 6: She's outside.
- 28:52Speaker 5: I saw a horizontal field so big we did.
- 28:54Speaker 2: If we did Pride and Prejudice, we could have Currea
- 28:56Speaker 2: Nightley bone and like four hundred.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Guys in that field and take flights. Reveal he twitched his.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Finger twitching Now he's in lab No, I want to
- 29:05Speaker 2: see him freaking boning.
- 29:06Speaker 5: And just to let you guys know, that shot would
- 29:08Speaker 5: never work on a vertical two hands.
- 29:10Speaker 4: And it wouldn't make any sense. You know what horizontal
- 29:15Speaker 4: I do love, though, is pretty little liars.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Oh I love that walked so we could.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Run exactly exactly.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Oh my gosh. Some of the greatest shots. That shot
- 29:26Speaker 6: you were talking about Titanic, That shot when she's holding
- 29:28Speaker 6: him and they're standing above, I go, where.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Are we getting?
- 29:32Speaker 6: What are we getting here are we getting the ship?
- 29:35Speaker 6: Were getting her holding him?
- 29:37Speaker 1: And why isn't the main character in that guessing which
- 29:41Speaker 1: rock has Jade in it in order to win her over?
- 29:43Speaker 5: Literally, That's what I don't get Gump too.
- 29:46Speaker 6: I go, can he see Jade?
- 29:48Speaker 5: Absolutely, he's good, he's good at ping pong, he's good
- 29:51Speaker 5: at war, But.
- 29:54Speaker 4: J can't you see Jade?
- 29:56Speaker 5: Anyway?
- 29:56Speaker 3: You can talk about reverse reverse engineering, engineering sexual deviancy. Yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 3: So I find the gnarliest sort of like is this
- 30:07Speaker 3: okay like kind of stuff where it's like okay, uh,
- 30:10Speaker 3: people like the most extreme BDSM stuff I've ever seen,
- 30:14Speaker 3: And then I take what is the core of that
- 30:17Speaker 3: relations and then I make it so if the if
- 30:21Speaker 3: if the if, if, for example, were we have a whip,
- 30:27Speaker 3: we go backwards eighty times from whip until it's just
- 30:33Speaker 3: a little teeny feather, and that's where episode one starts.
- 30:37Speaker 4: And the episode in episode one.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Is a little Then episode two is maybe a bigger feather,
- 30:43Speaker 3: but the kind you'd find it an ostrich. Then we
- 30:46Speaker 3: get to you know, a little lasso rope, a little
- 30:52Speaker 3: uh a PBC pipe, and then we.
- 30:55Speaker 5: Go further story such a good story, but this is the.
- 31:00Speaker 3: We're we're seating kink. We are seating it throughout so
- 31:04Speaker 3: that you know that eventually and do we ever get
- 31:06Speaker 3: to that. No, But I think the artists of port
- 31:10Speaker 3: Hub know what they're doing, and I am just taking
- 31:13Speaker 3: the digestible grain of it.
- 31:15Speaker 6: I think that's so good. I'm putting it in a
- 31:16Speaker 6: I do want to put in a request that you
- 31:18Speaker 6: start using headphones with your laptop. I don't know how
- 31:22Speaker 6: that works, I know, but you can. I don't think
- 31:25Speaker 6: volume like porn Hub in the writer's room.
- 31:28Speaker 5: It's not okay.
- 31:29Speaker 3: I think it's is it not inspirational? It's kind of
- 31:32Speaker 3: like I would imagine in our industry. It's sort of
- 31:34Speaker 3: like low fi beats to study too.
- 31:37Speaker 5: It's kind of just it.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Makes me kind of vulnerable to bring this up, and
- 31:40Speaker 2: I'm getting maybe gonna get a little emotional. But when
- 31:43Speaker 2: you play that kind of stuff, it gets me bricked
- 31:47Speaker 2: up and it's hard for me to work.
- 31:55Speaker 5: Wow, this episode is really funny so far. Wouldn't you say, Kylie.
- 31:58Speaker 3: I think I'd say so, Jeremy, And you know, I'd
- 32:01Speaker 3: say that there's a lot of stuff coming down the
- 32:03Speaker 3: pike that is not necessarily only on this episode.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yes, we're talking about our patreon. You guys can check
- 32:10Speaker 1: us out on Patreon. Yeah, we play these ridiculous characters,
- 32:13Speaker 1: but we also are all friends and real life people
- 32:16Speaker 1: and we like hanging out.
- 32:17Speaker 4: We talk about all the episodes.
- 32:19Speaker 3: We have an after show for every episode that in
- 32:23Speaker 3: the past, like Recent Memory two years, that you can
- 32:25Speaker 3: find on there for the low low price of five
- 32:28Speaker 3: dollars a month. And we have a bunch of other
- 32:30Speaker 3: stuff too. Jeremy danced for twelve weeks straight one time.
- 32:33Speaker 3: You can find all of that on the Patreon.
- 32:35Speaker 5: That was a blast.
- 32:36Speaker 1: We put in way more work than we need to,
- 32:38Speaker 1: and that is reasonable for the Patreon.
- 32:41Speaker 5: We just love it.
- 32:41Speaker 1: We love hanging out and talking to y'all, so come
- 32:44Speaker 1: on and check it out. It genuinely does help us.
- 32:48Speaker 1: We can't we can't do this without you. Uh oh,
- 32:51Speaker 1: she's gone.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Jfkay join the patreons.
- 32:57Speaker 5: D It's hard for me to work when I talk
- 33:03Speaker 5: about thank you.
- 33:05Speaker 4: I'm now because you're gay. This is yeah, because I'm gay,
- 33:10Speaker 4: You're you're gay bricked up.
- 33:12Speaker 2: And I couldn't bring this up earlier because it was like, oh,
- 33:14Speaker 2: that's this straight man, this is gay man, this is inexperience.
- 33:19Speaker 5: So when I get picked up, I can't do anything else.
- 33:21Speaker 2: And I'm trying to be a good guy, and it's
- 33:24Speaker 2: really hard for me to be over at work and
- 33:25Speaker 2: when I hear all these noises things, I mean.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Respect, Like I think we have to take care of

- 38:48Speaker 4: is a good twist.
- 38:49Speaker 5: I like, you thought he was a ghost, but he
- 38:52Speaker 5: wasn't a ghost. But he's your dad, but now he

- 43:28Speaker 5: for me to understand.
- 43:29Speaker 2: It's like, do you think that the creator the orange
- 43:31Speaker 2: skittle is bad that people like the red Skittles?
- 43:33Speaker 5: Like, I don't know they were in the same bag.
- 43:36Speaker 5: There was two different creators for that. I gotta think.
- 43:40Speaker 4: A writer's room for skin.
- 43:42Speaker 5: I gotta think that people they opened it up, they said,
- 43:44Speaker 5: ladies and gentlemen, we are coming up with flavors of skittles.
- 43:47Speaker 5: Please pitch you a one flavor.
- 43:49Speaker 2: And I would imagine they all came in and did

- 43:52Speaker 4: To because the separate bulls.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Separate balls, and they put them all together got the
- 43:56Speaker 5: definite flavors of colors.
- 43:57Speaker 4: Maybe the writer's room was Roy G.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Bibv.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Maybe that's who was in it.
- 44:01Speaker 5: WHOA Yes, you know, I will say I want to

- 44:11Speaker 5: I've just never never had the opportunity to. Never should
- 44:14Speaker 5: There was so much gossips.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Should you have access to all the game?
- 44:20Speaker 2: That's a good point, because, yeah, do you think just
- 44:22Speaker 2: because I'm gay now I can just come up with it?
- 44:25Speaker 5: I mean I wouldn't. I personally wouldn't say that.
- 44:29Speaker 4: I'm saying you have. I'm saying you have. You have
- 44:31Speaker 4: so many people you can ask.
- 44:32Speaker 3: You could have a whole new network of people, Yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 3: all connected and have gossips.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I could walk into the freaking fucking clubs and be like,
- 44:39Speaker 2: let's have a Kiki and they tell me all the ship.
- 44:42Speaker 5: They might be like, well, in order to have a Kiki,
- 44:44Speaker 5: could you guess if this rock has jade? Because one
- 44:46Speaker 5: of them do and one of them does. I don't
- 44:48Speaker 5: think they would do that, I know, but I just
- 44:50Speaker 5: need that for my ideas. What for you? We're talking
- 44:53Speaker 5: about my life, I know, but it was what you
- 44:56Speaker 5: have to pull from your real life.
- 44:58Speaker 2: But this isn't your life. I don't got Jakes in
- 45:01Speaker 2: my life. I don't got Jakes. I don't deal with
- 45:03Speaker 2: Jad's on a daily basis. You do that, I don't
- 45:05Speaker 2: go to the gay clubs and talked about Jades.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Okay, I.
- 45:10Speaker 4: I did write something else, not a horizontal. It was
- 45:16Speaker 4: a horizontal in a way if you flip it around.
- 45:20Speaker 5: It was a book.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Whoa you mean a full page?
- 45:24Speaker 5: Years ago?
- 45:25Speaker 4: I wrote a book.
- 45:26Speaker 5: What was it about?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Well, this is a dark time in my life. It
- 45:29Speaker 3: was shortly after the Averall concert. I was just wandering
- 45:35Speaker 3: looking for something to grab onto. But I verticals hadn't
- 45:38Speaker 3: been invented yet, So this was my wild phase. And
- 45:41Speaker 3: I wrote I wrote a political drama about the falling.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Of Richard Nixon. It was fifteen hundred pages.

- 46:04Speaker 3: I just this is the darkest time in my life

- 46:11Speaker 3: fuck doing that.
- 46:12Speaker 5: That dog don't hunt that. It's no good.
- 46:14Speaker 4: No, those dog's legs don't move.
- 46:16Speaker 5: Well.
- 46:17Speaker 3: Richard Nixon was he resigned from office because because because
- 46:24Speaker 3: the water Gate, this was just it was. It was
- 46:27Speaker 3: an imagining of the inner workings of Richard Nixon's cabinet
- 46:33Speaker 3: when it all went down.
- 46:34Speaker 5: That does kind of feel like a vertical. That could
- 46:37Speaker 5: be a vertical.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Do you think do you think I could stop? Do
- 46:41Speaker 3: you think we can adapt my ipo.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Erase Nixon created President.
- 46:47Speaker 4: Oh like President shirt Off? Yes, okay, President shirt Off

- 47:15Speaker 5: the with the flashlights sneaking to the water Gate.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Yes, and they're not supposed to beat together.
- 47:20Speaker 1: But they and the and the and the and the
- 47:25Speaker 1: and the and the and the and the and the
- 47:27Speaker 1: people that want the reporters, they want the files. And
- 47:30Speaker 1: the guy says, I'll give you the files if you
- 47:32Speaker 1: can guess which one of these. Half of these are
- 47:36Speaker 1: fake ceramics, and half of these are real ancient Chin
- 47:42Speaker 1: dynasty ceramics.
- 47:43Speaker 4: I've got our priceless This is the seventies. This is
- 47:45Speaker 4: sort of like a genre was.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Doing that mark which ones are real and which ones
- 47:52Speaker 5: are fair?
- 47:53Speaker 4: I just don't know. And then what happens.
- 47:55Speaker 1: What happens is you marked a fake one is real
- 47:59Speaker 1: and the and one of the reporters picks it up.
- 48:01Speaker 1: He says, you think this is real and throws it

- 48:17Speaker 4: Jade aloud, and all the Secret Service agents are part
- 48:21Speaker 4: of a pack.
- 48:21Speaker 3: They're all part of a half a pack to President.
- 48:27Speaker 7: They move as a packagecause they have a hive mind
- 48:30Speaker 7: and they all think they all want to be with
- 48:33Speaker 7: the ugly girl, but they know they can't because she
- 48:35Speaker 7: has glasses and the glasses.
- 48:37Speaker 4: Fend off their ancient connection power.
- 48:40Speaker 5: And then the ugly girl she's the secret of the
- 48:43Speaker 5: President because she can see jade through rock.
- 48:46Speaker 4: She's Watergate.
- 48:47Speaker 9: He keeps her in a file because she's so ugly.
- 48:50Speaker 9: Because she can see jade through rock, you can't see.
- 48:54Speaker 9: That's her power. She needs a power. She can see
- 48:57Speaker 9: jade through rock.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Jade is not the first power we come off with
- 49:00Speaker 5: my friend. Well, that's the thing is she can see,
- 49:02Speaker 5: but she.
- 49:03Speaker 4: Takes off her glasses.

- 49:06Speaker 6: her pony.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Shit can smell ancient Chin dynasty artifacts. He can't smell
- 49:11Speaker 1: that ceramic.

- 49:33Speaker 7: No?
- 49:34Speaker 5: I wish what's stopping you? There's no market in America
- 49:38Speaker 5: for it. I have to go somewhere in China for that.
- 49:44Speaker 4: I think you have to travel.
- 49:45Speaker 5: I think I just got it.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Based on what happened recently, I think he's about to
- 49:51Speaker 2: have to move because Albany.
- 49:53Speaker 4: You went there and you made such a deal of it.
- 49:55Speaker 5: It was so fun Albany. I love Albany. I was
- 49:59Speaker 5: in Albany. Okay, But then the pictures are all of
- 50:03Speaker 5: in your house. No, that's albany. Okay, we can.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Absolutely Before you say anything else on camera, we have
- 50:10Speaker 3: to wrap this up. I think we should go through
- 50:13Speaker 3: and maybe uh talk about the our upcoming slate.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Oh, let's do it. Yes, but before we do that one,
- 50:20Speaker 5: shout out our actors. We love you guys, and we
- 50:22Speaker 5: love you guys.
- 50:22Speaker 1: We love our act A lot of people like jump
- 50:25Speaker 1: on our actors saying it's it's like kind of hokey acting.
- 50:28Speaker 1: They we are toning them down most of the time.
- 50:31Speaker 1: They are saying you're doing too well, turn it off.
- 50:34Speaker 1: It's never the actor's fault.
- 50:35Speaker 4: No, it is never the actor's fault, and we will
- 50:38Speaker 4: protect them.
- 50:39Speaker 2: You do.
- 50:40Speaker 5: You guys are making mountains out of little little stories.
- 50:43Speaker 1: You know.
- 50:43Speaker 3: I just think we're giving you ship we should out
- 50:45Speaker 3: of our butt, and you guys are making it something.
- 50:47Speaker 6: I also just love that we're just straight from cameraman
- 50:50Speaker 6: to actor. There's no director there standing there. What is
- 50:56Speaker 6: what is that person going to do? The camera guy
- 50:59Speaker 6: goes move over the left and start and the actor goes,
- 51:03Speaker 6: god it Like I I sometimes I'm like, tone, what
- 51:06Speaker 6: are you talking about?
- 51:08Speaker 5: Literally?
- 51:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I tried to tell it to Aaron Sorkim, and
- 51:11Speaker 4: he was like, what where.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Do you live? Did he go ASL? Did he say ASL.
- 51:21Speaker 7: No.
- 51:21Speaker 6: I just kept sending him Pinterest boards.
- 51:25Speaker 5: I think you're gonna be fine in that.
- 51:26Speaker 4: I think I think this is okay. I tried to
- 51:29Speaker 4: watch the Newsroom vertical.
- 51:33Speaker 5: They can't even fit a face in there. It was
- 51:35Speaker 5: shot so horizontally, so much negative space.
- 51:38Speaker 4: And sometimes I calm my brain down.
- 51:40Speaker 6: I'll watch horizontals, but I'll put two poster boards up
- 51:43Speaker 6: so I make it look like a vertical and.
- 51:44Speaker 4: I can't follow.
- 51:46Speaker 5: It's impossible.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Also, tape your life, Yeah, the sides of your laptop off.
- 51:49Speaker 3: It's an easy way to watch.

- 52:01Speaker 5: We cast we cast narrow, We cast narrow faces on
- 52:04Speaker 5: our shows.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Coyote like like, there's a lot of cinematography rules when
- 52:12Speaker 1: you're shooting horizontals, like a third of frame. You know,
- 52:16Speaker 1: what's the horrors, what's the light the horizon? You know,
- 52:20Speaker 1: lighting how were we gonna light it. We got one
- 52:23Speaker 1: rule in cinematography. Put them in the middle.
- 52:27Speaker 3: Stick in the middle, don't move, stay in the middle,
- 52:31Speaker 3: and do not You don't have to hit your mark,
- 52:33Speaker 3: you just have to not move.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I can't make enough room for the like the TikTok
- 52:39Speaker 1: bio at the bottom and the TikTok options.
- 52:41Speaker 5: At the top.
- 52:42Speaker 4: The green actors never leave room for captions.
- 52:45Speaker 5: It's the worst, and that's their choice.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Worst, and that's their choice.
- 52:48Speaker 5: That's green.
- 52:48Speaker 1: You know an actor is green when he doesn't leave
- 52:51Speaker 1: room in the frame for That's when you know about
- 52:54Speaker 1: the video god.
