- 0:14Speaker 2: Today we're talking to actors who are also roommates.
- 0:18Speaker 3: North Hollywood, California, the home of many working actors with
- 0:23Speaker 3: sometimes side jobs, sometimes side romances, and best friends. We
- 0:28Speaker 3: get an inside look today.
- 0:30Speaker 4: We went on location to one of these actors digs
- 0:33Speaker 4: to find out what it's really like when four actors
- 0:36Speaker 4: live together.
- 0:38Speaker 5: So take a deep breath, because these four actors are roommates.
- 0:42Speaker 5: Let's listen in. I think it's going well.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Yeah, no, yeah, totally, yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 3: I think I think everything's We're is tonight, we're going
- 0:56Speaker 3: to Wings. We're doing Wings tonight.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I think tonight is yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I think tonight is Wings.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yeah, we're going to Barney's right, yeah, yeah, So yeah,
- 1:05Speaker 3: it's so hard to schedule with all of us because
- 1:07Speaker 3: we're all in and out.
- 1:08Speaker 4: So well, I've got an impro rehearsal from six to eight,
- 1:11Speaker 4: so I can come join you guys after that.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Come after Yeah, okay, I was going to be getting
- 1:15Speaker 2: there at seven thirty, So that's a little awkward because
- 1:18Speaker 2: I was hoping to have I have a self tape.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Do in the morning. So okay, so you can't come
- 1:24Speaker 1: any earlier, Like, well.
- 1:25Speaker 4: No, the rehearsal is from six to eight, so i'd
- 1:27Speaker 4: have to show up after the rehearsal.
- 1:29Speaker 3: So that's cool.
- 1:29Speaker 5: Well that's perfect because I can you know, I have
- 1:33Speaker 5: this callback tomorrow, so I think between six and eight. Sorry,
- 1:39Speaker 5: I'm just talking out loud right now. I think between
- 1:41Speaker 5: six and eight. All prep for that so that I
- 1:44Speaker 5: can have time to go to wings.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I think I'm a little confused because I work at
- 1:47Speaker 3: Barney's and I'm there till ten, so I was gonna
- 1:51Speaker 3: just like come out and take my apron off and
- 1:54Speaker 3: hang out. But if everyone's getting up early because they
- 1:56Speaker 3: have stuff to do and they were going to be productive,
- 1:57Speaker 3: I guess we're not raging.
- 1:59Speaker 4: No, I'm not going to get up early. I just
- 2:01Speaker 4: have improv practice from six to eight, so I'm just
- 2:04Speaker 4: doing Ah.
- 2:05Speaker 3: So who's getting up early?
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm getting up early because I have self tape.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Okay, but yeah, I am getting up early because I
- 2:11Speaker 5: have a call back.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Well I have to shower in the morning
- 2:14Speaker 3: before you leave. I don't have anything to go to.
- 2:16Speaker 3: But when I work at Barney's in the morning, I
- 2:18Speaker 3: have to wake up immediately in shower.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Okay, so what do you think of shower?
- 2:22Speaker 3: I think I want to shower. You said you have
- 2:23Speaker 3: to wake up at eight? What time are you leaving?
- 2:25Speaker 4: No? No, no, no, he gets improctic. So I have
- 2:29Speaker 4: a two to oh one uc B practice group and
- 2:32Speaker 4: we practice from six to.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Eight, and your self tape is due in the morning.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Way self tape. No, my self tape is due at
- 2:39Speaker 4: seven am. Am. Well I need to get Why don't
- 2:42Speaker 4: you tape it today.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Because I'm working all day?
- 2:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, I think.
- 2:48Speaker 3: The golf club.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I at the golf club today. After this, I'm going
- 2:52Speaker 2: straight to the golf club and then I'm going to
- 2:53Speaker 2: be at Barney's at six.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I thought you were going to be at Barney's at
- 2:56Speaker 4: seven thirty.
- 2:57Speaker 3: You literally just said you're gonna be there at seven thirty.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Okay, Well I misspoke earlier, but I meant that I'll
- 3:03Speaker 2: be there at six.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I just you do night showers, right, you don't do
- 3:08Speaker 3: a morning Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 5: I do night showers, but when I have a callback,
- 3:12Speaker 5: I like to do them in the morning.
- 3:14Speaker 4: What's your callback for I don't even.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Know if I can talk about it. Come on, well,
- 3:21Speaker 5: it's for a commercial.
- 3:22Speaker 2: That's amazing, that's so big, thank you so much.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Union non union.
- 3:28Speaker 3: I think it's so aggressive when people get good.
- 3:30Speaker 4: It hasn't said is it if it doesn't say it's
- 3:33Speaker 4: non union?
- 3:35Speaker 5: No, I mean I'm sure, I'm sure. I'm sure I
- 3:37Speaker 5: could ask for it to be sad.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Does it shoot.
- 3:41Speaker 5: November?
- 3:42Speaker 4: That's awesome, that's so cool.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm super excited.
- 3:46Speaker 4: And does it have a buyout or is it? What
- 3:48Speaker 4: is it? What's the company?
- 3:51Speaker 5: I mean, it's it's really like it could be a
- 3:54Speaker 5: super Bowl like we are. We just aren't sure, Like
- 3:57Speaker 5: that makes sense.
- 3:58Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Yeah, I haven't read I haven't read it. I haven't
- 4:01Speaker 5: read this. I haven't read the Yeah, I'm just I've
- 4:04Speaker 5: just been focusing on the script, so I haven't looked
- 4:06Speaker 5: at like the details. Really well, the script is, so
- 4:11Speaker 5: I play this woman and she amazing, thank you, And
- 4:16Speaker 5: she just got out of Carl's Junior and she's holding
- 4:19Speaker 5: this big burger and she said, well, I think I'd
- 4:23Speaker 5: like to have this burger.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Now that sounds union. That sounds like a also sounds like,
- 4:29Speaker 4: so you sounds like.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Supermol literal super Bowl and they were really looking for
- 4:34Speaker 5: someone with like improv chops.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And your type is someone who's about to eat.
- 4:38Speaker 4: A burger too.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Yeah, that's so.
- 4:40Speaker 4: What what do you mean by that?
- 4:43Speaker 1: You just like when I see you, I'm like, this
- 4:45Speaker 1: girl's about to get a burger.
- 4:47Speaker 5: That's interesting because I think I normally like go up
- 4:50Speaker 5: for like cheerleader. Like I feel like my type cast
- 4:53Speaker 5: is like beautiful woman.
- 4:54Speaker 3: She feel like you're only saying that about Miranda because
- 4:56Speaker 3: she her bed's in the kitchen and she's closest to
- 4:59Speaker 3: the kitchen.
- 5:00Speaker 2: No, I'm saying that because I grew up with a
- 5:02Speaker 2: lot of like beautiful women.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Who love to eat.
- 5:06Speaker 3: No, I think it's because.
- 5:08Speaker 2: No, I don't think it's because our beds in the kitchen.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I think it's I don't think you know what my
- 5:11Speaker 2: brain is.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I think it's I think it's because a lot of
- 5:13Speaker 5: the time is because my beds in the kitchen. I
- 5:15Speaker 5: have to pass you guys, your midnight's next.
- 5:19Speaker 4: That is true, and you're really good at that. Thank
- 5:21Speaker 4: you for passing.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Your cat does cover the fridge when you put it out.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, So should we talk about how there's only
- 5:31Speaker 5: there's our house.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Well, yeah, well let's introduce ourselves first. I think we started.
- 5:37Speaker 2: We brought our drama to the front, which is probably
- 5:41Speaker 2: something we shouldn't doom.
- 5:43Speaker 1: We're strong.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I just have to say, for anyone listening to this,
- 5:46Speaker 3: we never are in the same place at one time,
- 5:47Speaker 3: so it is crazy. And we did have to deal
- 5:49Speaker 3: some scheduling because.
- 5:50Speaker 5: We're all, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Right, we should get back.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I'm sorry. We were gonna use this podcast as kind
- 5:55Speaker 4: of a house meeting excuse. But now we should just
- 5:57Speaker 4: get to the podcast.
- 5:58Speaker 3: But I would like to get to some stuff that
- 6:00Speaker 3: we haven't been able to talk about that it's only
- 6:01Speaker 3: been on the group text, and we'll get to that later.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Sure, I get that, but right now people could respond
- 6:05Speaker 5: to the group text a little more. I think we
- 6:06Speaker 5: wouldn't really have to do this.
- 6:08Speaker 4: No, well, I try to. I try to. I try
- 6:11Speaker 4: to respond. I mean, like I'm giving reactions here and there,
- 6:13Speaker 4: you know, yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Well I lost my phone, so a reaction is not
- 6:16Speaker 3: a response.
- 6:17Speaker 4: It is literally well.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Because sometimes we say what time are you coming home?
- 6:21Speaker 5: And you thumbs up it, and then sometimes it just
- 6:23Speaker 5: feels like like you're trying to drive us crazy.
- 6:26Speaker 4: No, for sure, it's not on purpose. It's just a
- 6:27Speaker 4: thumbs up. I don't know. It means what time am
- 6:29Speaker 4: I going to be home? It's good, guys, it's good.
- 6:32Speaker 4: I'm all right.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Okay, what do you want me to get you from
- 6:36Speaker 3: the cot? Because I'm in front of the fridge and
- 6:37Speaker 3: you emphasized it.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I was pumped.
- 6:41Speaker 5: I think you kept shouting I'm hungry, So I I
- 6:45Speaker 5: didn't want to be confrontational because if I if I
- 6:47Speaker 5: said out loud, what do you want, it was going
- 6:49Speaker 5: to come out very angry, and I don't want to
- 6:51Speaker 5: bring that energy into.
- 6:53Speaker 3: We'll talk about who we are to somebody else. We'll
- 6:55Speaker 3: talk about our stuff later.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Okay, So this is Costa Day Bookers. That's what we
- 7:02Speaker 2: call the house Casade bookers. Dash two G is what
- 7:07Speaker 2: our house is is our WiFi.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Our pastor is booked and blessed.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Absolutely one two three. So that's who we are. We
- 7:17Speaker 1: live in North Hollywood.
- 7:18Speaker 2: We live on glom Street and we love it over there.
- 7:24Speaker 2: We live really close to the Fat Dog. We love
- 7:29Speaker 2: that place. We go there for drinks all the time.
- 7:31Speaker 2: We love drinking it fat Dog, except.
- 7:33Speaker 3: When we go to Barney's Beanery and we hope exactly.
- 7:35Speaker 5: For you, and it's it's honestly, it's so convenient because
- 7:38Speaker 5: this is one of the few bars we've heard of,
- 7:40Speaker 5: and so we have to go we do, and then
- 7:43Speaker 5: Barney's Beanery.
- 7:44Speaker 4: It's such okay, if you guys haven't been to Barney's Beanery,
- 7:46Speaker 4: it's this cute little kind of a hole in the
- 7:48Speaker 4: wall place. It's so great. They have so many options.
- 7:51Speaker 5: It's like kind of like a sports bar.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and it feels like like in those old sitcoms, yes,
- 7:57Speaker 3: with those laugh tracks.
- 7:59Speaker 4: And it's I just learned something that there's actually a
- 8:01Speaker 4: Barney's beat a much closer to us at the Burbank Mall.
- 8:05Speaker 4: But we always choose to go to the Water of
- 8:06Speaker 4: the West.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Let's name all the bars in.
- 8:08Speaker 4: That way we know.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Okay, well we've heard of Barney's for sure. When I
- 8:13Speaker 5: just found out about the bank, that.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Dog Bat Dog and Davy Waits ways, I heard this
- 8:22Speaker 4: crazy place somebody was telling me in my acting class.
- 8:24Speaker 4: It's called residuals. And they used to do this thing
- 8:28Speaker 4: where you where you can bring in your residuals, and
- 8:31Speaker 4: they'll put it on the wall, and if it's under
- 8:33Speaker 4: a dollar, then they'll give you a drink for free. WHOA,
- 8:37Speaker 4: how would that have been to go to? I would
- 8:39Speaker 4: love it.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I would love to have had a bar like that
- 8:43Speaker 2: when I end up eventually get residuals. I feel like,
- 8:49Speaker 2: once I start getting residuals, I bet I'll be sad
- 8:51Speaker 2: that place doesn't exist.
- 8:52Speaker 4: In Yeah, we should, we should we introduce ourselves.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but let's introduce ourselves then name all the bars
- 8:58Speaker 3: we know, Well, we.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Have to they were of us, and we also have
- 9:00Speaker 4: to give the layout of our house. Yeah, let's start
- 9:03Speaker 4: with the kitchen.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Okay, but yes, okay, but here she was pointing me.
- 9:09Speaker 5: So I am. My name is Lilah, and I live
- 9:13Speaker 5: in the kitchen. I I have the caught that's sort
- 9:17Speaker 5: of it's just over there. Well, I guess the camera
- 9:20Speaker 5: you can't see it. But maybe if we maybe, if
- 9:22Speaker 5: we get that angle at some point, if we get
- 9:23Speaker 5: coverage of the kitchen, if we get coverage of the kitchen,
- 9:25Speaker 5: it'll look like that, Well.
- 9:26Speaker 4: We might just be breaking the line if we do that,
- 9:28Speaker 4: you know, we'd be breaking the line.
- 9:30Speaker 5: The one eight roll.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be called an insert.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, so maybe if we end up getting an
- 9:36Speaker 5: insert shot of the kitchen, you'll see so my caught
- 9:41Speaker 5: it's a twin excel and it is right in front
- 9:45Speaker 5: of the fridge and the long part of it faces
- 9:49Speaker 5: the counter, and I sort of view the microwave is
- 9:51Speaker 5: kind of a window, which is amazing because we don't have.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Any It's amazing that way. You're so imagined.
- 9:59Speaker 5: I think it is amazing because we don't have any
- 10:01Speaker 5: windows in our house.
- 10:02Speaker 3: So which you have such a cookie brain? Tell them
- 10:04Speaker 3: you draw really well?
- 10:06Speaker 5: Well, I would say I'm primarily an actor, but I
- 10:09Speaker 5: am also very talented artist, and I'd say that one
- 10:12Speaker 5: art also informs the other, you know, like sometimes I.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Plug your Instagram.
- 10:17Speaker 4: You should plug art Instagram.
- 10:19Speaker 5: It's called Lila Paints.
- 10:21Speaker 4: It's oh, so it's like dark, which I think is
- 10:23Speaker 4: really cool.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Yeah, I sort of paint like and it's it's like,
- 10:28Speaker 5: so I'm I'm really like, I'm kind of such a
- 10:31Speaker 5: nerd for like horror props, and so I like paint
- 10:35Speaker 5: a lot of like when you know, like a kid
- 10:37Speaker 5: is being possessed by a ghost and they paint those
- 10:41Speaker 5: fucked up looking pictures. So that's where I draw a
- 10:44Speaker 5: lot of my inspiration from. And they are available to buy.
- 10:49Speaker 4: If you've DoD super cheap too. They're like twelve hundred
- 10:52Speaker 4: thirteen hundred dollars.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, Lila, I want to congratulate you because I just
- 10:56Speaker 2: looked at your Instagram and I noticed that you finally
- 10:58Speaker 2: got out of the negative fall.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 5: I've been trying to get out of that hole for
- 11:05Speaker 5: a while. It's like, not a lot of people know
- 11:08Speaker 5: that that you can be unfollowed so many times on
- 11:12Speaker 5: Instagram that you're actually get a negative body count.
- 11:15Speaker 3: It's like a new thing.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like Jeopardy Rules. But we're back in the red,
- 11:19Speaker 5: but we're back in the black. We were in the
- 11:21Speaker 5: red before. Now we're in the black. And I'm really
- 11:25Speaker 5: excited about the art. I think I'm gonna get a
- 11:27Speaker 5: sale soon. But I think overall, I'm very close to
- 11:30Speaker 5: booking a lot of work and a lot of irons
- 11:32Speaker 5: are in the excited. This could be huge.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Just to go over it again, you're a woman outside
- 11:38Speaker 4: of Carlos Junior and you say I'm going to eat
- 11:41Speaker 4: this whopper.
- 11:42Speaker 5: No, I say, I think you're gonna eat this Burger.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Now I'm I'm so excited for you. That's your only line. Yeah,
- 11:51Speaker 4: so excited for you.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Yeah it is, and thank you so much, and just
- 11:54Speaker 5: fingers crossed that I get it. But I have a
- 11:56Speaker 5: good feeling.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really good. I think you have to get
- 12:01Speaker 4: it well.
- 12:01Speaker 3: So you got so close to that SeaWorld commercial.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I got so close to that SeaWorld commercial, which was crazy.
- 12:07Speaker 4: It was a non union SeaWorld commercial.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But we call you the avail King in our part
- 12:13Speaker 3: Availed King.
- 12:13Speaker 4: That's me, guys. I'm Spencer Wave. I'm an actor, but
- 12:18Speaker 4: I've recently got into comedy and I find it so fun.
- 12:23Speaker 4: There's this crazy thing and I don't know if you
- 12:25Speaker 4: guys have heard about this. It's called improv and it's
- 12:27Speaker 4: called it's really fun that I know you guys have
- 12:31Speaker 4: heard about improv, but but for me to give it
- 12:34Speaker 4: to other people, I'm just saying, there's this thing out
- 12:36Speaker 4: here and it's so raw and it's so real and
- 12:38Speaker 4: it's so expressive. So I yeah, I've been told I
- 12:42Speaker 4: should do stand up all my life. So I'm kind
- 12:43Speaker 4: of getting into comedy taking classes. I'm always in an
- 12:47Speaker 4: acting class, but now I'm also always in an improv class,
- 12:50Speaker 4: and I'm always doing stand up. So yeah, so but yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 4: I got avail all the time for non union commercials
- 12:57Speaker 4: and non union short films and they never hid me.
- 13:01Speaker 4: But one day I think.
- 13:02Speaker 5: I mean, it just seems like the stand up thing
- 13:05Speaker 5: seems like it's taking off though. Oh yeah, like I
- 13:07Speaker 5: went to your class show at the Federal.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's right, because the Federal is another bar.
- 13:17Speaker 4: We know.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Residuals.
- 13:25Speaker 4: We've only heard of asiduals.
- 13:26Speaker 1: We don't know, we don't know what existed.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Wait, we should listen all the bars we've heard of.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Oh only in l A.
- 13:34Speaker 1: There's one at the top of the w that my
- 13:36Speaker 1: cousin wanted me to go to once.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I love.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Okay, introduce yourself.
- 13:42Speaker 1: My name is Connor Michael Patrick.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I am an actor.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I moved out here from Orange County by myself with
- 13:55Speaker 2: nothing but a bag and a dream.
- 13:57Speaker 4: An Orange County is like an hour south.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It's an hour south.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and I had to move here completely on my own.
- 14:04Speaker 2: I didn't get support, I didn't get hope, I didn't
- 14:07Speaker 2: get help, like, I didn't at all.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Like but in my still see your parents all the time,
- 14:12Speaker 5: which is cool.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I have to see them, but it's really
- 14:15Speaker 1: hard for.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Me because, right because you're different.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm different, they don't understand me. And I
- 14:20Speaker 2: have to go in and I have to tell them
- 14:21Speaker 2: what I'm doing and they don't get it. And that's
- 14:23Speaker 2: like and and I like working with you guys, like
- 14:25Speaker 2: I love living with you.
- 14:26Speaker 4: No, it's great. It's like a creative artistaneful place.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's like really nice because we know what
- 14:32Speaker 2: it's like out there, like in the Costa Day, Costa
- 14:36Speaker 2: Day Booking.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Absolutely, the custody bookers in the.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Costa Day Bookers, like we know what the journey is
- 14:44Speaker 2: and like we know that we can be there for
- 14:45Speaker 2: each other. But when I go back to my mom,
- 14:48Speaker 2: they're always just like, what are you doing with that
- 14:50Speaker 2: allowance we've sent you?
- 14:51Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Like what is this?
- 14:52Speaker 2: And I'm like, I'm getting headshots, I'm you know, taking
- 14:55Speaker 2: classes and I'm doing a stage combat class.
- 14:58Speaker 5: It's so nice that you're on your own like that.
- 15:00Speaker 1: It is, it's really nice. Really, I am pursuing theater.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I'm pursuing theater in Los Angeles, and I'm a theater
- 15:06Speaker 2: actor and I want to be on stage and I
- 15:08Speaker 2: love the world of being on stage. I was in
- 15:11Speaker 2: every musical in high school. I played every single uncle
- 15:17Speaker 2: that that was in any show. Wow, and it was really,
- 15:20Speaker 2: really fun. I also played I was the lead of
- 15:24Speaker 2: the drowsy chaperone, the guy that runs around the whole
- 15:26Speaker 2: time and doesn't say a single word.
- 15:28Speaker 3: You did really well on your open call. When you
- 15:31Speaker 3: went in for the open call for the theatric and Botanicum, right,
- 15:33Speaker 3: did they tell you you have good promise into canyon?
- 15:36Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Absolutely, Yeah, I went in there.
- 15:38Speaker 4: They did you have good promise? They had the which
- 15:41Speaker 4: is it?
- 15:43Speaker 2: They give you a form at the end after you audition,
- 15:46Speaker 2: and it's either good promise, bad promise, undisclosed promise when
- 15:52Speaker 2: they don't.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Disclose it and they have told they have the option.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Theatri Botanicum is a theater in to Penga Canyon. It's
- 16:01Speaker 2: a beautiful place where they do Shakespeare. It's a very
- 16:03Speaker 2: interesting place and I auditioned. Shakespeare's stuff is full of
- 16:07Speaker 2: uncles and I would love to play them.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I feel like it's one of very few places that
- 16:12Speaker 3: you could get employed here. I feel like there's like that,
- 16:15Speaker 3: like the Geffen and like what else like it feels cool.
- 16:17Speaker 4: It's like Hollywood Fringe. It would be huge.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Wood Fringe is great, and I would love to get
- 16:21Speaker 2: involved in Hollywood Fringe. I would love for someone to.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I've been auditioning for the Hollywood Fringe for a while
- 16:29Speaker 2: and I found out this year that actually it's independent
- 16:33Speaker 2: shows that get pit yeah to be the Hollywood French.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah. I been auditioning just for.
- 16:39Speaker 2: And what that ended up becoming was a volunteer position
- 16:42Speaker 2: for taking tickets and you sent in that.
- 16:46Speaker 4: But I met so many.
- 16:47Speaker 3: People volunteered for the Hollywood Friend Yeah, I.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Heard that, and I met get this giving tickets out.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I met Joe Mantana, who's that. He's a much older actor,
- 17:01Speaker 2: and it was really, come on, what's your name?
- 17:04Speaker 4: You know?
- 17:04Speaker 3: Me freaking name?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Guys, they don't we're doing that for them.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Correct, they don't. Hey, I signed Bruce. It's just like
- 17:15Speaker 3: this fun nickname I got in high school. My real name,
- 17:19Speaker 3: my real name is Cynthia, but people call me Bruce.
- 17:22Speaker 3: I am a man, a girl of many jobs. You
- 17:27Speaker 3: could say I have eighteen survival jobs. I do a lot.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I do a lot at work at Barney's. I work
- 17:35Speaker 3: at the Apple Store, I work at Sephora. I have
- 17:38Speaker 3: three people who am their personal assistant. Sometimes I get
- 17:42Speaker 3: to auditions, but I usually don't get that many. But
- 17:46Speaker 3: I'm really just like trusting the process, trusting the city,
- 17:48Speaker 3: and trusting the universe.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I just think it's so impressive that you are able
- 17:52Speaker 5: to work at three different places at the Americana at
- 17:55Speaker 5: the same time.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah. So there's we call those Americannors yea.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And they're not to be confused with my name Connor.
- 18:03Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, that's so silly. There's like many
- 18:06Speaker 3: Americannors and they usually only have like they either work
- 18:09Speaker 3: at like the movie theater and the Anthropology or something.
- 18:11Speaker 3: But I am one of the few that has three
- 18:13Speaker 3: of them. So I'm running around and I mean I'm
- 18:16Speaker 3: an americanor plus, which means I work at the Grove.
- 18:19Speaker 3: So I have another little job at the Grove where
- 18:22Speaker 3: I work for that car wash, that car wash from
- 18:25Speaker 3: when you park your car the second floor. Yeah yeah, fo.
- 18:29Speaker 3: So I just read it's important to me to like
- 18:33Speaker 3: always make sure I'm busy and always make sure I'm somewhere.
- 18:36Speaker 3: And I have a problem saying no. And I love
- 18:38Speaker 3: I love just like being in our city.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Can I tell you something I'm proud of, please, Fence.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I'm proud of because you said eighteen day jobs and
- 18:47Speaker 2: that makes me emotional because you used to have nineteen.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And it's amazing to me that you said no to
- 18:54Speaker 2: that job, which we all know which jub you quit.
- 18:56Speaker 2: It's the job where you would repair a telephone wires.
- 19:01Speaker 4: And we're so happy we could talk, yet really happy.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Job was so dangerous as an actor too.
- 19:07Speaker 4: It's like your instrument, you could electric instrument.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Cousin Booker's really helped me through that because I
- 19:13Speaker 3: wanted to do that job so badly because I just
- 19:16Speaker 3: needed it and I needed to I needed to work there.
- 19:18Speaker 3: But you guys saw me, and you guys are like,
- 19:20Speaker 3: your hands are filthy, Your hands are your instrument and
- 19:24Speaker 3: they were coming back completely covered and so it's just.
- 19:27Speaker 5: Like, as a friend, it's really hard to see my
- 19:30Speaker 5: friend's hands be so dirty and gross like that. I
- 19:34Speaker 5: just like hate seeing you do that to yourself.
- 19:37Speaker 4: And you weren't focused on the art. You were kind
- 19:39Speaker 4: of focused on the wires.
- 19:40Speaker 1: The drawing you did.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it still makes me cry to think about.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I mean, it was a wake up call and that's
- 19:47Speaker 3: what I think is so important about I mean, they
- 19:49Speaker 3: should make a show about like friends who are living together.
- 19:53Speaker 4: They should. They should.
- 19:55Speaker 5: Yeah, to write this web series. We had to write
- 19:58Speaker 5: this web series, right.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I think it could even be like even shorter than
- 20:02Speaker 3: a web series. It can be like a TikTok or
- 20:04Speaker 3: something like I should write a series or something. I
- 20:07Speaker 3: just feel like the fact that you guys are my
- 20:10Speaker 3: chosen family, Like I like you guys call me out.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Like it all started when I started assisting for that
- 20:16Speaker 3: city planner who was such a mess. He was a
- 20:18Speaker 3: dirty journey. And that's where I met the telephone people
- 20:22Speaker 3: and I started working for the telephone wires and then
- 20:25Speaker 3: that's and it's just like it became a mess. It
- 20:27Speaker 3: became an absolute mess. And I really give it up
- 20:31Speaker 3: to costle a book, all the bookers for really just
- 20:35Speaker 3: like pulling me through. And now I'm at eighteen and
- 20:37Speaker 3: hopefully the goal is by the end of this year
- 20:39Speaker 3: to have sixteen survival jobs, because financially I can do it. Financially,
- 20:44Speaker 3: I'm fine.
- 20:45Speaker 4: You're richest friend.
- 20:46Speaker 5: My records much more money than we do.
- 20:48Speaker 3: The idea that they can't stop getting these and won't
- 20:51Speaker 3: give them up is just like my own neurosis.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Yeah, like you don't have to live in the bathroom,
- 20:56Speaker 5: like you don't have to you have the money to
- 20:59Speaker 5: do a job.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Order.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I am. I think I think I'm
- 21:03Speaker 3: scared to really be an actor. And and that's let's
- 21:07Speaker 3: sit in that. Lets everyone sitting that for a second.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I mean I'm literally sleeping next to the toilet. It's yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 3: it's I don't need to I can have my own
- 21:16Speaker 3: home at this point. But yeah, I just I love
- 21:20Speaker 3: you guys, and I love our life. I love our life.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I mean we are not even Sometimes walls aren't even
- 21:26Speaker 3: separating us. Sometimes it's just curtains between Spence.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Yeah, well we've got a great curtain dividing our room.
- 21:32Speaker 4: I'm in the fire pit and then you kind of
- 21:34Speaker 4: close the fire pit, and that's my room. That's my
- 21:36Speaker 4: little my little den basically.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 21:40Speaker 4: And you have the full room and I have the
- 21:41Speaker 4: full room.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I have the room because I need the space, because
- 21:45Speaker 2: I have certain rituals that I do and I.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Have certain things.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Yeah, will you do yogas? I wanted to be considered
- 21:51Speaker 5: about it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: You're yoki, I do the the wahoo breathing.
- 21:58Speaker 4: We do a little bit of wahoo wow, that's good,
- 22:03Speaker 4: so incredible.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm not gonna do anymore because my my
- 22:08Speaker 2: ritual is not your entertainment, you know.
- 22:10Speaker 5: What I mean? No, no, right, it's so personal.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Well, can I actually have a great question, because I
- 22:13Speaker 4: think they'll be really interested in knowing this. What are
- 22:16Speaker 4: the creative projects that we're working on? Right?
- 22:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, because Kasada Bookers is so full of
- 22:21Speaker 2: energy and we all have jobs and things we're doing,
- 22:24Speaker 2: and like stuff that we're doing to get ourselves out
- 22:27Speaker 2: there in this wacky town of Hollywood.
- 22:29Speaker 3: So crazy. Yeah, I have a d pop of Aprons
- 22:33Speaker 3: that I've been working on where right now we have
- 22:37Speaker 3: I have so many aprons on my d pop. If
- 22:40Speaker 3: you're listening to this, please find it. It's at apron
- 22:43Speaker 3: Junkie twenty four. I just love to collect them, and
- 22:46Speaker 3: I love finding vintage ones, finding like rugged ones, and
- 22:51Speaker 3: like painting them. So I really enjoy that and I'm
- 22:54Speaker 3: really thankful to have that side project.
- 22:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that's such a good artistic side project. I'm I'm
- 23:00Speaker 4: currently trying to figure out how to film my stand
- 23:02Speaker 4: up sets and upload it on Instagram. I've been watching
- 23:06Speaker 4: a ton of people do that and they get so
- 23:08Speaker 4: many views, and I think my stuff is up for it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: It's really good.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And we've been working on your heckler work and then yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 2: house like we've been pretending.
- 23:15Speaker 4: You guys have been great and it's been hard, but
- 23:17Speaker 4: it's been good. Yeah, to like take that in and
- 23:19Speaker 4: learn what a heckler is.
- 23:21Speaker 5: It's been good, like as an acting exercise for us
- 23:23Speaker 5: personally to play a heckler, to play heckler, yeah, because
- 23:26Speaker 5: I don't usually get typecast as hecklers. I get type
- 23:29Speaker 5: cast as beautiful women, so I like, I don't get
- 23:32Speaker 5: the opportunity to like really like dig into like what
- 23:36Speaker 5: what would a disgusting person at a comedy show too?
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I think it's also really fun that we're like expanding
- 23:40Speaker 3: it because I mean, for me as an actor, I
- 23:42Speaker 3: need to work on listening. Yeah, So I'm not even
- 23:45Speaker 3: I don't do comedy. I don't understand it, but when
- 23:48Speaker 3: people like I need to be better at listening. So
- 23:50Speaker 3: I've asked you guys to heckle me too, so I
- 23:52Speaker 3: can go, like I can really hear what you said.
- 23:54Speaker 4: You've kind of made a rule we all heckle each
- 23:56Speaker 4: other now just yea little and like.
- 23:58Speaker 5: Some people like to the naked ear, it might sound
- 24:01Speaker 5: like we're having a fight, but.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Each other to learn, we're all playing heers to each other.
- 24:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Absolutely, my personal project I'm really excited about.
- 24:14Speaker 4: I have been asked to join.
- 24:18Speaker 2: A group of actors who put on different Shakespeare plays
- 24:24Speaker 2: in different bars, but they do it while they're on ketamine.
- 24:28Speaker 1: It's called the Case the Thing. It is really fun.
- 24:33Speaker 4: This is gonna be great for us because you're gonna
- 24:34Speaker 4: learn so many new bars. Oh yes, yeah, yes, we.
- 24:38Speaker 5: Have to find out about new bars.
- 24:40Speaker 1: We did one.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well, I'm realizing there's a lot of places we've gone
- 24:44Speaker 2: that I don't remember because I show up on ketemine.
- 24:47Speaker 2: We did one. We did one at a bar that
- 24:51Speaker 2: was really fun. Have you guys heard of this bar?
- 24:55Speaker 2: I think it's called the Surly Goat.
- 24:59Speaker 3: It's a really wait what.
- 25:02Speaker 4: That's got to be?
- 25:03Speaker 3: All the Surly go It's almost a quirky as me
- 25:07Speaker 3: being the name Bruce.
- 25:09Speaker 4: It's about the same level of quirkiness as that.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I threw up in front of it. It was
- 25:13Speaker 1: really fun.
- 25:14Speaker 3: So I want to ask about Okay, so I don't know,
- 25:18Speaker 3: like how real we can be on this.
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm interested, I'm an actor.
- 25:22Speaker 4: I'm ready to go for sure.
- 25:23Speaker 3: And I just like, I want to talk to you
- 25:25Speaker 3: about the members of this theater company because I've hung
- 25:28Speaker 3: out with them a couple of times. You guys have
- 25:29Speaker 3: come to Barney's. I think some of them are like
- 25:32Speaker 3: a little old yeah.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Yes, and they all graduated Chapman the year two thousand.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and I feel like sometimes maybe they're like, maybe
- 25:40Speaker 3: not the best influence on you.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I hear this feedback.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I totally hear this feedback, and it's not coming from me. Okay,
- 25:48Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 25:48Speaker 5: I couldn't confront I also hear the feedback I.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Hear, and I hear what they're saying, okay, and I
- 25:53Speaker 4: think we're good if I could.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I mean like first she's drawing my dirty
- 25:59Speaker 3: hand and second she's gonna draw your ketemine vomit, because
- 26:02Speaker 3: I mean, like you're just not well.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Well, I'm still workshopping that that one isn't ready to sure.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Sure, And maybe I shouldn't have disclosed that, but I did. Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 3: it's just like it's a really hardcore hobby. It's a
- 26:11Speaker 3: real Here's what.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I will say like Ketymine is being advertised on Instagram
- 26:15Speaker 2: to me, you know what I mean, Like Kenemine is
- 26:17Speaker 2: all over the place, Ketymine is so casual. Now, it's fun,
- 26:19Speaker 2: it's fine, it's it's hip, it's hot.
- 26:21Speaker 3: No, what helps you with your OCD?
- 26:23Speaker 1: With my OCD, which, as you guys know, is like
- 26:26Speaker 1: so different of me.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Yeah, well I thought it was really interesting because you
- 26:31Speaker 4: just recently found out you have OCD. Yeah, You've been
- 26:33Speaker 4: looking online and you've been watching these videos and you
- 26:36Speaker 4: realize that you have OCD.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I finally found the right video that validated my OCD.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Yeah, because and now we have to respect the fact
- 26:43Speaker 5: that you can't make your bed because you have OCD
- 26:47Speaker 5: about your bed being made exactly, and so like we
- 26:50Speaker 5: have to respect. And now we do respect that because
- 26:52Speaker 5: I know that that was like fight but a concern
- 26:55Speaker 5: that we were heckling about, and so like to see
- 26:58Speaker 5: to understand that it comes from mental illness.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you the garbage. It's like you don't it's
- 27:05Speaker 4: because of your OCD you will not do those things,
- 27:08Speaker 4: and so we kind of have to leave it alone
- 27:09Speaker 4: and not touch it. That's a no heckl zone exactly.
- 27:12Speaker 5: So yeah, like, my It'll go ahead.
- 27:14Speaker 2: No, it's okay. I just have this thing where if
- 27:16Speaker 2: I'm spoken to or about, I have to speak.
- 27:18Speaker 1: It's it's part of my OCD.
- 27:19Speaker 4: I think that's I've heard. I saw this video on
- 27:23Speaker 4: TikTok while I was trying to look up instructions of
- 27:26Speaker 4: how to upload tiktoks. They said that that was the
- 27:30Speaker 4: thing about how do you do it? I cannot figure
- 27:33Speaker 4: it out.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so like I would love to get into
- 27:36Speaker 5: social media.
- 27:37Speaker 4: It's so hard because you have to learn how to
- 27:38Speaker 4: do so many things. You have to learn how to film. Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 4: you have to learn how to edit, you have to
- 27:42Speaker 4: learn how to post, you have to learn how to
- 27:43Speaker 4: do captions. You have to learn so much music. You
- 27:46Speaker 4: have to learn music, songs and stuff. Yeah, because like
- 27:49Speaker 4: that's the thing. It's like, I don't understand how people
- 27:51Speaker 4: are doing the lip syncing and then also doing the video.
- 27:55Speaker 4: It's a fuck.
- 27:56Speaker 5: It''s hard to figure out.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I think fucked up anyway. I think what's what's going
- 28:00Speaker 3: on with you is crazy? I think what's a huge
- 28:02Speaker 3: thing in our house that's like a part of our
- 28:03Speaker 3: age that should be a part of the show. Is
- 28:05Speaker 3: realizing when you have illnesses right, totally. Yeah, realizing that
- 28:09Speaker 3: totally is crazy.
- 28:10Speaker 1: It's really big.
- 28:11Speaker 2: And and my friends that I do k the case
- 28:14Speaker 2: the thing with really help me figure that out.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I mean, you say they're bad, but all.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Of them, and that they were bad, I said they were.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Old, Okay, very very clear distinction.
- 28:24Speaker 2: I would say that you know they're they're they know
- 28:27Speaker 2: what they're talking about.
- 28:28Speaker 1: They've been here for a long time.
- 28:31Speaker 2: They worked on Politically Correct with Bill Maher, they worked
- 28:34Speaker 2: as as gaffers, so they.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Have been here. Yeah, and that's a huge credit. Yeah, exactly.
- 28:45Speaker 2: So, so like I would never knock them, and like,
- 28:48Speaker 2: you have to be careful with the city. Like one
- 28:51Speaker 2: of the big things I learned about the city is
- 28:52Speaker 2: that it's sometimes not what you do, but it's who
- 28:54Speaker 2: you know. And I want to know, so I, you know,
- 28:58Speaker 2: one of the my favorite things I like to do
- 29:01Speaker 2: is I like to to study people.
- 29:03Speaker 1: And maybe this is just me. I like two.
- 29:05Speaker 5: People want is that your OCD?
- 29:07Speaker 2: It might be my OCD. It compels me to watch people.
- 29:10Speaker 2: And what I do is I you know what I
- 29:12Speaker 2: like to do. I like to people watch. I go
- 29:13Speaker 2: to a Barnes and Noble and on people watching the
- 29:14Speaker 2: self help section.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Bars and Noble.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Is that a bar that is so twisted? I love
- 29:20Speaker 5: it because.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I'm like, these people need help, and so I watched
- 29:22Speaker 1: them in this self help So.
- 29:23Speaker 5: That's actually brave of you to do because you're you're
- 29:27Speaker 5: watching people like in a vulnerable moment, like you're trying
- 29:30Speaker 5: to honor them through art and studying.
- 29:32Speaker 1: The ever living f out of them.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Wow, because then I can take that in because I
- 29:36Speaker 2: don't know about you guys. When do you guys have
- 29:40Speaker 2: a character approach to acting or do you have like
- 29:42Speaker 2: an internal approach to acting? Like are you being someone
- 29:44Speaker 2: else in acting or are you guys like trying to
- 29:47Speaker 2: be yourself.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I'm completely method for sure. I think I think I
- 29:52Speaker 3: have to really feel it. I mean I barely have.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Last time I acted was in high school. But I
- 29:57Speaker 3: mean I I'm for little auditions, sure.
- 30:00Speaker 4: And the thing is also you get every once in
- 30:02Speaker 4: a while, I get an audition, and it's crazy because
- 30:04Speaker 4: you'll go full method for the audition and the house
- 30:07Speaker 4: will change.
- 30:07Speaker 3: It'll change, yeah yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 5: But I mean it does really change when one of
- 30:10Speaker 5: us ghost methods.
- 30:11Speaker 3: No, for sure, because I mean, you have a crazy process.
- 30:14Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I you know it, like I have to
- 30:17Speaker 5: eat certain foods that get me into the method of
- 30:20Speaker 5: what character I do. I have to make certain noises
- 30:24Speaker 5: that like maybe you guys haven't heard before. They're different
- 30:26Speaker 5: kinds of noises that that aren't like usually done by humans.
- 30:31Speaker 5: Like but that's because I'm entering into an animalistic approach.
- 30:34Speaker 5: I have to find the animal that that character would be,
- 30:37Speaker 5: and then I become that animal for two hours and
- 30:41Speaker 5: then I come out the other side.
- 30:43Speaker 1: And you do that new noise you've been doing lately.
- 30:45Speaker 3: That that is one of those noises that we were
- 30:47Speaker 3: like a human can do that.
- 30:48Speaker 4: This is a.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Super personal one that I've been working on for a J. C.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Penny commercial. But it's it's super personal. I might cry
- 30:58Speaker 5: doing it. We're here for you, and that's to get
- 31:07Speaker 5: me into the spirit of this woman because she she's
- 31:10Speaker 5: beautiful and.
- 31:13Speaker 3: I don't even need to know. I don't even need.
- 31:16Speaker 4: No human human.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I hear that that cannot be a human.
- 31:21Speaker 5: And that's exactly what I'm trying to do.
- 31:22Speaker 4: And that's why I thought we had a ghost. That's
- 31:25Speaker 4: how believable and unhuman.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I've learned everything from if you guys don't.
- 31:31Speaker 5: And this is to the listener, like, if you ever
- 31:34Speaker 5: ever ever have the chance to study with Paul Muror,
- 31:38Speaker 5: you have to study with forever because he I mean,
- 31:43Speaker 5: he's just so smart, he's just so tapped in and
- 31:47Speaker 5: like the classes are expensive, but they're so worth it
- 31:51Speaker 5: because he leads you to these methods that like like
- 31:53Speaker 5: he's a genius and it's like acting as an investment. Yeah,
- 31:59Speaker 5: it's like yeah, like most people say, you know, your
- 32:02Speaker 5: rent should be a quarter of your income or whatever,
- 32:04Speaker 5: but I believe as an actor, like if you're not
- 32:06Speaker 5: spending seventy five percent of your income on classes, like
- 32:11Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Like why did you move here?
- 32:14Speaker 2: Let's talk classes because classes are so important and so big,
- 32:17Speaker 2: and we always come together and we like to tell
- 32:20Speaker 2: each other what we've learned in classes. My friends on
- 32:23Speaker 2: the Case the Thing have introduced me to this woman
- 32:27Speaker 2: in Montecito Heights named Debra Zump, and she is so
- 32:31Speaker 2: interesting and she's teaching me so much. All the classes
- 32:34Speaker 2: are outside, it's just me and her, and they're at
- 32:38Speaker 2: two pm. And she only teaches class in the summer
- 32:41Speaker 2: because it has.
- 32:41Speaker 1: To be hot.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Oh wow, Yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 2: All about surprise and so a lot of the time
- 32:47Speaker 2: she just kind of I have to stand there and
- 32:49Speaker 2: she has She comes and she surprises me with things,
- 32:52Speaker 2: and I have to have a monologue memorize and I
- 32:54Speaker 2: don't know when she's going.
- 32:54Speaker 4: To ask for it. Wow. But before that's exhilarating.
- 32:57Speaker 2: She's throwing stuff on me. She's pushing me. She putting
- 33:00Speaker 2: an ant on my on my finger, like.
- 33:02Speaker 4: She's doing all this crazy your finger, She put an
- 33:07Speaker 4: ant on my finger?
- 33:09Speaker 5: How did you? How did you not notice that she
- 33:11Speaker 5: was doing that?
- 33:12Speaker 4: I honestly really did.
- 33:14Speaker 3: How did she carry it?
- 33:15Speaker 4: She carried it like.
- 33:16Speaker 5: This, right side up, like she squeezed it.
- 33:21Speaker 4: She squeezed its body lightly.
- 33:24Speaker 2: She carried it but ahead, wiggling, looking for grasp, looking
- 33:31Speaker 2: for something to hold on to. It landed on my finger.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I about fainted. I about fainted.
- 33:37Speaker 4: But was it the heat? The ant? I couldn't feel
- 33:43Speaker 4: unrelated to the ant.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I fainted almost But and then I had to do
- 33:47Speaker 2: my monologue, this monologue that she picked for me to
- 33:50Speaker 2: do from uh uh. It was from Hamlet. It was
- 33:55Speaker 2: to be or not to be?
- 33:56Speaker 1: That's great.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Well, I don't have any time for glasses because I
- 33:59Speaker 3: always working. But if you guys haven't done this, I
- 34:03Speaker 3: highly suggest listening to the podcast SmartLess.
- 34:07Speaker 5: No way, I haven't. I've actually heard of this.
- 34:11Speaker 4: I slightly. I think one of my comedy friends mentioned
- 34:14Speaker 4: is that an acting partner.
- 34:16Speaker 3: It's everything everything. I am learning so much. They bring
- 34:22Speaker 3: on a lot of actors, they bring on people and
- 34:25Speaker 3: they talk about their process and I am learning so much.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I highly recommend the Christen Bell episode Blew My Mind.
- 34:34Speaker 3: She talked about Frozen really blew my mind.
- 34:37Speaker 5: Wow, So that changes everything? Can I be vulnerable for
- 34:40Speaker 5: a minute.
- 34:40Speaker 4: I would love for that. That would be great.
- 34:42Speaker 5: I just have to blow my nose as you guys
- 34:45Speaker 5: know that. I mean, allergies are something I really struggle with.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Like that's a no heckel zone. So I'm just gonna
- 34:51Speaker 5: just really quickly.
- 34:55Speaker 3: While you're there, Will you switch my laundry?
- 34:57Speaker 6: Yeah, which was yours?
- 35:01Speaker 3: The uh, the load of apron?
- 35:05Speaker 2: Oh but can you not take out the clothes from
- 35:08Speaker 2: the dryer because those are mine?
- 35:10Speaker 5: Okay, so I'll keep I'll take out of the wash
- 35:14Speaker 5: and I'll load it with your stuff.
- 35:17Speaker 2: No, no, don't take anything out of the dryer.
- 35:20Speaker 6: Okay, So I'm just taking wash and.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, will you do that?
- 35:27Speaker 4: Just I guess this might be a good time. Can
- 35:29Speaker 4: people stop lighting fires in the fireplace? That's my bed now,
- 35:33Speaker 4: And so I just need everybody to just kind of
- 35:35Speaker 4: like not do that.
- 35:37Speaker 1: That's actually not a good time because that is not
- 35:38Speaker 1: what we're talking about.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Okay, no, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 35:40Speaker 3: I thought, well, we're gonna get to like to do's
- 35:42Speaker 3: and the group text stuff a lot later.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I won't receive that, so you can talk about that later.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Okay. Well, what I was gonna say, I'm taking uc
- 35:49Speaker 4: B and I'm also taking stand up and I'm taking
- 35:52Speaker 4: a bunch of acting classes in a commercial acting class.
- 35:54Speaker 4: But uc B is so interesting right now. I cannot
- 35:57Speaker 4: figure out improv. It's amazing fame and but I think
- 36:01Speaker 4: I'm approaching it from like a more dramatic actor place
- 36:04Speaker 4: because what they're looking for is that's funny. But all
- 36:07Speaker 4: I can bring is real. I know, comedy is myself
- 36:09Speaker 4: really like hard.
- 36:11Speaker 1: I consider comedy the bastard step child of theater.
- 36:14Speaker 2: I really think that it needs to commit and I
- 36:16Speaker 2: think a lot of comedians don't understand that what they're
- 36:20Speaker 2: doing is basically pissing.
- 36:21Speaker 4: On you know.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Christopher Marlowe's grave. They're they're they're pissing on William Shakespeare,
- 36:28Speaker 2: They're pissing on Arthur Miller.
- 36:29Speaker 3: What would you say that picture?
- 36:31Speaker 4: Oh?
- 36:31Speaker 5: So, no, go ahead.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Did you see that picture of Christopher marlow that resurface
- 36:34Speaker 3: and he kind of looks like Harry Styles?
- 36:36Speaker 4: I I have to I have not seen that. I
- 36:41Speaker 4: have to see that.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Thank you for letting me say that vital piece of inforation.
- 36:43Speaker 5: No, I want to, And I'm so glad you heard
- 36:45Speaker 5: that because I I really want to see that. Please
- 36:47Speaker 5: show me up.
- 36:51Speaker 3: We don't have a printer.
- 36:52Speaker 1: It's right literally right there in frame.
- 36:55Speaker 5: It's in frame.
- 36:56Speaker 4: You didn't know we have a printer.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Literally because I'm always working.
- 36:59Speaker 5: It's so it's so good for printing sides, like, it's
- 37:03Speaker 5: so good for printing, especially combat sides.
- 37:06Speaker 1: We do need to replace the black because all the
- 37:08Speaker 1: sides are printing out.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Yeah, no, that and that's tough. It's embarrassing to bring in.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Well, it's tough because like the ink is so expensive
- 37:15Speaker 5: and the magenta is you know, it's already there. I'm sorry.
- 37:20Speaker 5: I don't want to fight.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Wait where'd you just go?
- 37:25Speaker 5: I just don't want to fight I went, I went
- 37:26Speaker 5: into my little corner and that prevents me from heckling
- 37:29Speaker 5: or fighting.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Okay, sure you like.
- 37:32Speaker 5: No, sometimes it's like there's just like not a lot
- 37:34Speaker 5: of space, and so sometimes I just need like a
- 37:36Speaker 5: little corner. And that's when I and I I sort
- 37:39Speaker 5: of go into it in my own mind.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Ye, are you pissed at me for asking you to
- 37:43Speaker 3: change my laundry?
- 37:44Speaker 5: No?
- 37:45Speaker 3: No, you can just tell me.
- 37:46Speaker 5: No, I'm pissed at you because you kissed my boyfriend.
- 37:50Speaker 1: Wow.
- 37:51Speaker 4: Okay, okay, this is vulnerable.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I think it's time to discuss, like I.
- 37:55Speaker 5: Neither want to bring this. Yeah, and you guys kissed
- 38:01Speaker 5: and it honestly made me feel really weird.
- 38:04Speaker 3: I mean, now it's the time to finally talk about
- 38:05Speaker 3: what the group text has been saying, because you keep
- 38:07Speaker 3: saying it and you keep emphasizing it, which.
- 38:11Speaker 4: We don't know if you're asking questions about it.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you're just kind of saying like wow, when
- 38:16Speaker 5: like it really it's like a popa.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Wow, let's talk about it. Let's talk about it.
- 38:20Speaker 1: I was kissing both the women in this house.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Yeah, and like we had never defined like I had
- 38:27Speaker 5: always referred to you as my boyfriend. Yes, Like all
- 38:29Speaker 5: two weeks that this has been going on, I've always
- 38:31Speaker 5: referred to.
- 38:32Speaker 3: Her as kitchen.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 38:33Speaker 5: Yeah. And so it's like, and I'm willing to meet
- 38:36Speaker 5: you where you're at, you know, like I don't want
- 38:39Speaker 5: to interfere with anyone's process. I know you're reading a
- 38:42Speaker 5: lot of plays right now, so I don't want to
- 38:44Speaker 5: interfere with that.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 38:45Speaker 1: It's a really busy reading plays.
- 38:47Speaker 5: So I didn't want to like step on that. And
- 38:50Speaker 5: so I would not want to inject a relationship when
- 38:52Speaker 5: it's not welcome.
- 38:53Speaker 1: But I can't tell you upset because I'm seeing the drawings.
- 38:56Speaker 2: You know, the reason that you got out of the
- 38:57Speaker 2: negative on your follower accounts because I you and I
- 39:01Speaker 2: started seeing what you were up to, and I started
- 39:04Speaker 2: seeing that the drawings were showing that there is a
- 39:06Speaker 2: little bit of trouble in parentis and the romance that
- 39:09Speaker 2: we have, the kisses we were stealing in the kitchen,
- 39:11Speaker 2: and of course my room, they are beginning to take
- 39:15Speaker 2: its told because there's something going on. And of course
- 39:18Speaker 2: the kisses that we had had.
- 39:19Speaker 3: As well, well, that was crazy because that was when
- 39:22Speaker 3: I was working on that boat. Yeah, and somehow you
- 39:25Speaker 3: found me, came up to me and because we didn't
- 39:27Speaker 3: kiss in the house, yeah's books. Yeah, And I think
- 39:31Speaker 3: it just felt like I was sailing for these people.
- 39:35Speaker 3: I was working so hard. The sailing hours are so
- 39:38Speaker 3: different than this four hours and I just and you
- 39:42Speaker 3: showed up on the dock and you said, listen, let's
- 39:45Speaker 3: just do this. We've been dying to do this. And
- 39:47Speaker 3: I was like, dying to do what? And there there
- 39:48Speaker 3: I am kissing him, so you.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Didn't know what he was talking I'm sorry, I'm just
- 39:53Speaker 5: trying to like do the mouth because you said we've
- 39:55Speaker 5: been dying to do this, and you didn't know what
- 39:57Speaker 5: he was talking about.
- 39:58Speaker 3: And then he kissed me and then I was like,
- 39:59Speaker 3: I have dynaty.
- 40:00Speaker 5: This okay, So you realized after.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yeah, And I think it was because I mean, I
- 40:05Speaker 3: just want to say it. I've been talking to you
- 40:06Speaker 3: a lot about this.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Yeah, And we used to date, so it's really tough
- 40:09Speaker 4: for me to hear this. If you guys moved into
- 40:11Speaker 4: the house as a couple, Yeah, we moved in the
- 40:13Speaker 4: house of the.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Couple and then we all, like the rest of us,
- 40:16Speaker 5: came in via Facebook marketplace. Why we came in to
- 40:18Speaker 5: buy a couch, and then we just really enjoyed the
- 40:22Speaker 5: vibe and we started talking about acting.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Taking this anyways, you guys came in because we were
- 40:26Speaker 3: gonna buy the couch and we had an episode of
- 40:28Speaker 3: Broad City on.
- 40:29Speaker 2: And we had previously lived together in a house, not dating, Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 2: in a couple of we lived in a house with
- 40:33Speaker 2: twenty five other people.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Yeah, And so we're used to these communal, sort of
- 40:38Speaker 5: intentional living spaces.
- 40:40Speaker 4: And we moved in and we broke up. I think
- 40:42Speaker 4: the third day. It was just it just pleasant.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Third day, second day, fourth day, one of those days.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And it was because we were learning how to move
- 40:49Speaker 3: on because we were in a relationship with a third
- 40:52Speaker 3: we had dropped her, didn't realize that there was nothing
- 40:55Speaker 3: there when we got her.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Yeah, And so that's when I started getting into comedy.
- 41:00Speaker 3: And that's where you started getting to getting an eyemovie.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Yeah, And that's what I got into comedy. And Eyemovie
- 41:04Speaker 4: I couldn't compete with im. Moe is so easy. It's
- 41:07Speaker 4: so much easier.
- 41:09Speaker 5: And the day that you learn to export your videos vertically, like,
- 41:12Speaker 5: I think that will change.
- 41:14Speaker 4: I'm going to I just have to figure it out.
- 41:17Speaker 4: I'm so excited for you.
- 41:18Speaker 1: I feel like you're trying everything and you're learning so
- 41:20Speaker 1: many things.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Thank you. Yeah, and it's really amazing how you are.
- 41:23Speaker 2: You're going out here and you are working and you
- 41:25Speaker 2: are trying your artists and you are not.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Closing your mind to anything.
- 41:29Speaker 4: No, No, I'm trying everything out here. I'm really putting
- 41:32Speaker 4: you know, I'm going to.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Get you tried snails.
- 41:34Speaker 4: I tried snails.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You work harder than me, and that's someone who works
- 41:37Speaker 3: for a pirate.
- 41:38Speaker 4: No, okay, And it's great because I feel like we
- 41:40Speaker 4: have very like a messy past history. But now this
- 41:43Speaker 4: is kind of like a vulnerable space so we can
- 41:45Speaker 4: just be on it.
- 41:46Speaker 5: And you know, I'm I'm fine to close this. I'm
- 41:48Speaker 5: fine to like close the chapter, put a pin in it,
- 41:51Speaker 5: or just like accept you know, like this is like
- 41:54Speaker 5: this is your journey at the moment. And like, while
- 41:58Speaker 5: my drawings reflect that I'm upset, like I'm willing like
- 42:02Speaker 5: that is just like a beautiful gift of art for
- 42:05Speaker 5: me to make sure.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Have you ever thought that maybe like the second you
- 42:08Speaker 3: started drawing at once we kissed, you got out of
- 42:12Speaker 3: the negative follower account, Like once you followed sure, like,
- 42:15Speaker 3: and that's a lot pain.
- 42:17Speaker 5: Honestly, actually very grateful for that because like a lot
- 42:19Speaker 5: of acting is tapping into pain, and like, I've never
- 42:21Speaker 5: experienced pain like that before, and so it's like you've
- 42:24Speaker 5: given me the gift of becoming a way better actor
- 42:28Speaker 5: and it's no problem.
- 42:29Speaker 3: I'm happy to have done that for you. And that's
- 42:33Speaker 3: what the show's about, is friends doing things like that
- 42:35Speaker 3: for you.
- 42:36Speaker 4: Gotta make this a show or a TikTok of.
- 42:39Speaker 1: The one of the two or a novel.
- 42:44Speaker 3: Is a play too dry?
- 42:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really cross.
- 42:47Speaker 4: Well, it feels like a good time to maybe seguey.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Are there other things like I was going to actually
- 42:52Speaker 4: bring up, like how awkward it is when somebody brings
- 42:55Speaker 4: in a partner, Yeah, and somebody that they're interested in.
- 43:00Speaker 4: I think of that, Yeah, a scene partner. When somebody
- 43:03Speaker 4: brings in a scene partner, somebody they're interested in the scene.
- 43:06Speaker 4: It's really tough because we have to dedicate a corner
- 43:09Speaker 4: of the room to scene work, and we have to
- 43:12Speaker 4: dedicate a corner of the room to audition. But one
- 43:14Speaker 4: of my favorite things we do at Castaday Booker is
- 43:17Speaker 4: is when somebody has an audition. We'll all sit down
- 43:20Speaker 4: and you have to do the audition for us. So
- 43:22Speaker 4: when somebody has a scene and a scene partner, you
- 43:24Speaker 4: have to do the scene for us.
- 43:25Speaker 1: We do it American Idol style.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I'm so nervous because I've never done it in front
- 43:28Speaker 3: of you guys, and one day I will.
- 43:30Speaker 4: You have to, you have to.
- 43:31Speaker 1: You know what I've been I've been trying to push.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I want us to do the voice style where if
- 43:36Speaker 2: you like how the audition sounds, you turn around.
- 43:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a really good way, because I feel like
- 43:41Speaker 4: acting is primarily sound.
- 43:43Speaker 3: We could do that. We should with all your skateboards.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Yeah, so there was them. Yeah, great idea.
- 43:48Speaker 1: We can turn around on a skateboard.
- 43:49Speaker 4: It's kind of hard to turn. Well, it's just as
- 43:53Speaker 4: difficult as a chair, I would say, ye would say,
- 43:55Speaker 4: even more so.
- 43:58Speaker 3: I actually don't think so. I think we put some
- 44:00Speaker 3: pillows on top of the skateboard. We could turn.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Actually, I think what I'm saying is real.
- 44:05Speaker 5: I'd say one thing that we should stop, maybe not
- 44:08Speaker 5: stop doing. I don't want to put that energy out,
- 44:10Speaker 5: but maybe move away from is doing self tapes at
- 44:13Speaker 5: the same time. Yeah, because we only have two hundred
- 44:15Speaker 5: square feet and like, so it's like, because that's not
- 44:18Speaker 5: an audition, we don't really do them for each other,
- 44:20Speaker 5: but like we have to figure out a time for
- 44:22Speaker 5: us to do them.
- 44:23Speaker 4: A scheduling thing. It's a scheduling thing.
- 44:25Speaker 2: I would like to acknowledge that I recognize that sometimes
- 44:28Speaker 2: when you guys start doing self tapes, I go, oh, yeah,
- 44:30Speaker 2: I forgot I have to do a self tape, and
- 44:32Speaker 2: I start doing mine really fast.
- 44:33Speaker 4: I've noticed that it feels like it comes out of
- 44:35Speaker 4: nowhere and you're kind of making it out.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Sometimes it doesn't sound real.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be willing to discuss that behavior at the
- 44:42Speaker 1: next house meeting.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, okay, when can you guys do the next
- 44:46Speaker 3: house meeting? When do you guys avail?
- 44:48Speaker 4: So I've got improv practice from six to eight Tonight,
- 44:53Speaker 4: after that, I after wings, then tomorrow I've got.
- 44:58Speaker 3: You're done at six or.
- 45:00Speaker 4: I'm starts at six, goes to eight, and then tomorrow
- 45:04Speaker 4: I'm doing a commercial acting class from twelve to three,
- 45:09Speaker 4: and then I go into another improv practice with another
- 45:12Speaker 4: team from three to five, and then I do an
- 45:17Speaker 4: open mic at the improv corner from five to five fifteen.
- 45:22Speaker 1: So you can just say tomorrow is not going to work.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Well, I'm just giving you guys my availability so we
- 45:27Speaker 4: could do before that.
- 45:28Speaker 3: We ask for a veils, it means tell, It means
- 45:31Speaker 3: like talk like say the blocks of your Yeah, I.
- 45:34Speaker 5: Know, oh do Well it's just because you're theater and
- 45:36Speaker 5: so you.
- 45:37Speaker 4: Don't get asked for a veils and stuff.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess I get asked for opening.
- 45:40Speaker 4: So you're right.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Yeah, so sorry, Okay, you're getting to that point where
- 45:45Speaker 3: you are insufferable, and I just is it because I
- 45:49Speaker 3: said you for five year olds? Let's label it? I'm
- 45:53Speaker 3: labeling it insufferable.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Well, let's talk about it.
- 45:56Speaker 4: I mean, is it because your agent dropped you? Listen?
- 46:00Speaker 1: I was at CIA, Okay, I had an.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Agent, which is insane. Agents saw me on an incredible night.
- 46:08Speaker 2: I was doing much ado about deepest k hole I've
- 46:14Speaker 2: ever been and couldn't calw my way out and I
- 46:19Speaker 2: walked out and someone said something like noodle noodle, biscuit head,
- 46:23Speaker 2: and I don't know what that was.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I guess the next morning it was give me a
- 46:27Speaker 1: call because.
- 46:28Speaker 2: I had a business card, and I called him and
- 46:31Speaker 2: I said, what was this about? And they said, oh,
- 46:34Speaker 2: I really like you. So so he said, what else
- 46:36Speaker 2: can you do? I said, what, let's see and and
- 46:40Speaker 2: that's and that's kind of the last we ever spoke.
- 46:43Speaker 2: And I never reached out to him again. He didn't
- 46:46Speaker 2: reach out to me. And a year later I received
- 46:49Speaker 2: a letter which is so artists artisan. You know, you
- 46:52Speaker 2: can tell you really thought about him because you pound something,
- 46:56Speaker 2: and it said this was probably a bad arrangement. It
- 47:00Speaker 2: never should have happened, and we are going to be
- 47:02Speaker 2: terminating this contract because I signed it.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I signed a two year contracts with them.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Wow wow, Yeah, so is it because of that?
- 47:11Speaker 2: But listen, honestly, to be honest, and this might be
- 47:15Speaker 2: a shock to you, guys, I think I'm a little
- 47:17Speaker 2: on edge lately, and I guess I'm a little quote
- 47:19Speaker 2: unquote insufferable.
- 47:20Speaker 1: As you might say, with your words, not.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Mine, I am becoming insufferable because and this is a
- 47:26Speaker 2: vulnerable moment. Of course, I have actually never been somebody
- 47:31Speaker 2: who has been uh romantically pursued by anyone before this house.
- 47:37Speaker 2: And to have two girlfriends that I live with, yeah,
- 47:40Speaker 2: so overwhelming.
- 47:42Speaker 5: Just I just have I find it interesting that you
- 47:44Speaker 5: labeled her a girlfriend. Yeah, would you say that you
- 47:48Speaker 5: hold truth of that label, I would.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Say I used it for convenience. That phrase just now,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I would say, I said, girlfriend, just okay, speak.
- 47:55Speaker 3: Okay that you're trying to like bust through this because
- 47:59Speaker 3: you can take this and you can hold this space.
- 48:01Speaker 3: You can go fast, you can take your time.
- 48:04Speaker 1: What I do know is that we are kissing, and
- 48:05Speaker 1: I know that we are also kissing.
- 48:07Speaker 5: And so and this is something that we're going to
- 48:09Speaker 5: have to work out at the next house meeting.
- 48:11Speaker 3: And what I know is that we're kissing and that
- 48:14Speaker 3: you guys are kissing. Are you currently kissing? Like, are
- 48:17Speaker 3: you guys still kissing?
- 48:19Speaker 5: Well, we were until I saw you kissing.
- 48:21Speaker 3: You guys haven't kiss since we kissed?
- 48:23Speaker 1: No, all right, I have offered the kiss and she
- 48:26Speaker 1: hasn't opened.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Right, And this is this receive it and and and.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Pull away because I would like the kiss, but I
- 48:37Speaker 5: need to convey the message to you that I am upset. Okay,
- 48:39Speaker 5: this is so here I fish, I fish kiss.
- 48:42Speaker 3: I didn't know this.
- 48:43Speaker 4: I didn't know this kiss.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Thumbs up, it's a fish kiss.
- 48:45Speaker 4: I made it.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Say free does it in movies? That's how we learned it.
- 48:48Speaker 5: You know what.
- 48:49Speaker 3: I Sometimes I think that maybe I'll just say it.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Maybe if we're all kissing, we shouldn't be living together.
- 48:58Speaker 1: We're not all kissing.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Nobody's kissing.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Who's kissing?
- 49:01Speaker 4: I just I would love to be kissed. I've been
- 49:03Speaker 4: trying to pursue anybody in this house for a while.
- 49:06Speaker 6: Now.
- 49:06Speaker 4: I'm not over our breakup. I just would love.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Literally, we broke up because you came obsessed with iMovie.
- 49:14Speaker 3: I never saw you.
- 49:15Speaker 4: It was so user friendly. You don't have to put it.
- 49:19Speaker 4: You could just add things to the timeline, and it
- 49:21Speaker 4: figures itself out.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in its petty pace.
- 49:25Speaker 5: From dating to day, and all our yesterday's.
- 49:29Speaker 1: Are lighted fools on.
- 49:31Speaker 5: The way out. Candle yes, a walking shadow of your
- 49:39Speaker 5: fool who strets the stage?
- 49:42Speaker 3: Yes or no more.
- 49:43Speaker 5: This is a tale told by an idiot.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Remember I learned all.
- 49:48Speaker 4: I know?
- 49:49Speaker 3: Noodle noodle, biscuit off. No, I think that's mama miya?
- 49:57Speaker 5: Well should we? And not? Maybe? So? Advice to give
- 50:01Speaker 5: to other actors who live.
- 50:02Speaker 4: Together, that's a really good idea.
- 50:03Speaker 3: That's good, I.
- 50:06Speaker 5: Would say, listen to each other's ideas and give feedback.
- 50:12Speaker 5: I I talked about a script that I was working
- 50:15Speaker 5: on and just heckled you and you're right, and you're right,
- 50:22Speaker 5: and I accept that because I wasn't actually working on
- 50:25Speaker 5: that script. I was just thinking about it.
- 50:27Speaker 3: And this is why hackling is so healthy. Look at
- 50:29Speaker 3: how you just admitted that.
- 50:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and this is healthy.
- 50:33Speaker 5: Heckling is healthy. So you know, listen to each other
- 50:36Speaker 5: and heckle when necessary, because you people need to be
- 50:41Speaker 5: collected sometimes and that'll make you closer.
- 50:44Speaker 3: To the truth. Yes, I think I'd say you can
- 50:50Speaker 3: live anywhere if you're always working, so never worry if
- 50:54Speaker 3: the bathroom isn't big enough, or your your roommates it's
- 50:58Speaker 3: a toxic environment. It's okay if you put your head
- 51:00Speaker 3: down and you go to work. I think people don't
- 51:02Speaker 3: work anymore. Just go to work. I think it's really important,
- 51:06Speaker 3: and I think don't be scared if the thing you
- 51:09Speaker 3: love most acting seems far away. And then I would say, also,
- 51:16Speaker 3: just like the people you hang out with are the
- 51:19Speaker 3: people that reflect who you are. That's really important.
- 51:24Speaker 2: I would say you need to set a clear rule
- 51:26Speaker 2: on just because you have a self tape for something
- 51:29Speaker 2: doesn't mean, you can use food in the fridge if
- 51:32Speaker 2: it's labeled specifically by a person. A self tape is
- 51:35Speaker 2: not some magical reason that you get to eat my bread.
- 51:38Speaker 5: Well, if your method, it's different.
- 51:42Speaker 2: I think I would say if you are method and
- 51:45Speaker 2: someone's being method, it needs to be disposed.
- 51:47Speaker 4: You need to put it in thank you.
- 51:49Speaker 5: Well, yeah, of course, touch the group chat. When you're
- 51:51Speaker 5: being method, you just need to give it.
- 51:53Speaker 3: That's literally what she did. She said, my commercial is
- 51:56Speaker 3: for Sarah J.
- 51:56Speaker 5: Bread, literally Sarah, and it was for Sarah J.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Bread and you had Sarah J. Bread. She needed to
- 52:07Speaker 3: use it.
- 52:08Speaker 4: Sure, But I was because I was method.
- 52:10Speaker 5: I wasn't thinking straight, you know. All I was thinking
- 52:12Speaker 5: of it was I was a woman who needed to
- 52:15Speaker 5: fade Sarah J. Bread to her family.
- 52:17Speaker 3: I'm sorry I'm hashtag with her.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Well, are you guys kissing?
- 52:21Speaker 3: We're all straight? Right?
- 52:23Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, we're all straight tragically, and I wish I wasn't.
- 52:32Speaker 4: It would be so fun to be queer.
- 52:35Speaker 5: It would be so I have so many girl crushes
- 52:37Speaker 5: on Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Yeah, I think Ryan Gossling is so hot. I wish
- 52:44Speaker 4: I could him. My dad is sick, he's dying. Sorry,
- 52:50Speaker 4: we were improvising. I thought it was a fun improv moment.
- 52:54Speaker 5: Yeah, we actually and we don't know how to get
- 52:58Speaker 5: there with you.
- 53:00Speaker 3: What's your advice?
- 53:08Speaker 5: I mean, you and your improv friends, you spend so
- 53:11Speaker 5: much time together coming up with like the hilarious things
- 53:13Speaker 5: like you just said that, and I can't, like, I
- 53:16Speaker 5: can't compete anymore.
- 53:17Speaker 4: Like what you just said.
- 53:19Speaker 1: It felt like I was looking up at someone talking
- 53:21Speaker 1: on the top of a house.
- 53:22Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't know how to get there with.
- 53:23Speaker 3: This heckling, How do I get there? No clue? How
- 53:27Speaker 3: do I get there unless I take a class?
- 53:29Speaker 4: Yeah, So my advice would be just, you know, live
- 53:33Speaker 4: with people you love and people that love you and
- 53:36Speaker 4: people that support you on your journey and your dream
- 53:42Speaker 4: and yeah, yeah, that's that would be great. That's it.
- 53:46Speaker 4: That's you do that. And if you're ever in a
- 53:49Speaker 4: situation where you're living with three people that are all
- 53:51Speaker 4: hooking up, just just stay out of the group chat.
- 53:54Speaker 4: Just keep it to reactions only.
- 53:56Speaker 1: So you're the best one of us, you really are.
- 53:59Speaker 3: I think you'll be the most famous.
- 54:02Speaker 4: Well, my dad is Steven Spielberg, So so.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Why do you live in a half room a fire pit?
- 54:13Speaker 3: You live in a fire pit.
- 54:15Speaker 4: My dad doesn't give me any money, so not to
- 54:17Speaker 4: make it on my own.
- 54:19Speaker 1: That's so cool that your dad Steven Spielberg.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Nobody's ever asked, well, you guys have not asked me
- 54:24Speaker 4: one question around.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but what about more about this improv?
- 54:27Speaker 4: Because do you have shows.
- 54:28Speaker 1: I'd love to come to your shows.
- 54:29Speaker 3: You should definitely bring your dad over and maybe he
- 54:32Speaker 3: should come see crazy case or what be awesome.
- 54:34Speaker 4: It's called the case of things. Yeah, you guys should
- 54:37Speaker 4: never ever ask my history or who I am?
- 54:39Speaker 3: Does your dad you should need some like telephone lining done?
- 54:42Speaker 4: If he? If he?
- 54:46Speaker 5: If you're I'm actually looking for someone to be a
- 54:48Speaker 5: reader for a self tape. If your dad was available,
- 54:51Speaker 5: that would actually.
- 54:51Speaker 3: Be really fun.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 54:53Speaker 2: And can you imagine if Steven Spielberg saw you on
- 54:56Speaker 2: a self tack.
- 54:57Speaker 1: Yeah, he would say I want this for myself.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Actually.
- 54:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Such a good way to get somebody to watch
- 55:01Speaker 3: you is ask them to be a reader. Yeah, that's
- 55:04Speaker 3: that's really good advice. If you know that someone's famous,
- 55:08Speaker 3: ask them to be your self tape reader right now
- 55:10Speaker 3: so that they can see, so that they can see.
- 55:14Speaker 5: Wow, Okay, does anybody need I'm if anybody wants to
- 55:18Speaker 5: get a burger, claim it now, because I'm about to
- 55:20Speaker 5: go method for this Carl Junior thing.
- 55:21Speaker 3: Oh god, our fritual Burgers is about to go away.
- 55:25Speaker 4: Our thirty burgers, that's all we eat. This has been
- 55:30Speaker 4: Artists artists answered the question. Now, that's why they call
- 55:33Speaker 4: it show business. Good night.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Well, yeah, I'm going I'm going to my bed so much.
- 55:46Speaker 4: This is so great. I'm just gonna go to my
- 55:48Speaker 4: fire pit.
- 55:49Speaker 3: Everybody, you will, you will you send me?
- 55:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm going to need silence. Hey, you sleep weird?
- 56:19Speaker 4: Okay, Hey, my wife's pussy is that we're not heckling sleep.
- 56:25Speaker 6: We're not heckling sleep going.
- 56:34Speaker 4: The whole time.
