- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama Darling, Drama Darling, Drama Darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It is drama Darling today because we were talking about
- 0:22Speaker 2: Anatomy of a Lie, which is an incredible series. Over
- 0:27Speaker 2: on the Peacock, we are joined by two very dramatic
- 0:32Speaker 2: Darlings today, and one is Emily Deresis and the other
- 0:35Speaker 2: is Jamie Moyer. Ladies, welcome man.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Together, we are the Mauricis.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Of the the Maurice's Sisters.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I hope you are all if you can see us,
- 0:52Speaker 3: Jamie and I blend together to make Amy Sweater.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm realized, Oh my gosh, that's sick you guys.
- 0:59Speaker 1: That's that is gag.
- 1:02Speaker 2: That is disgusting.
- 1:03Speaker 1: That is so I'm mad, is twisted the way your
- 1:08Speaker 1: mind works. The podcast is off. You're you're as close
- 1:12Speaker 1: to Elizabeth Finch as a human kit.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Good day. I hope you're all enjoying your holiday. This
- 1:21Speaker 2: is when this episode is airing, so hopefully you can
- 1:23Speaker 2: got you guys can get a real pep in your
- 1:25Speaker 2: step after this. The way we're going to do this
- 1:27Speaker 2: is we are going to assume you've already seen this.
- 1:30Speaker 2: I'm not going to go and explain the story because
- 1:33Speaker 2: that just will take too much time, So we're going
- 1:36Speaker 2: to put it out there. There's a woman named Elizabeth
- 1:38Speaker 2: Finch who was a writer on Gray's Anatomy, and this
- 1:41Speaker 2: is what happened, and these are our responses to it.
- 1:44Speaker 2: So welcome into that's crazy.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It might be fun if they haven't seen it to
- 1:50Speaker 1: still listen to this. Oh absolutely, really get in there
- 1:54Speaker 1: and then watch it.
- 1:56Speaker 2: And then watch it, you know after the drama Darling
- 1:59Speaker 2: Holiday Zoo Extravaganza. Uh, there were there was a couple
- 2:03Speaker 2: of Darlings. They're like, you know what, I haven't seen that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I just listened to Amy's recaps and I was just like,
- 2:07Speaker 2: what an amazing compliment. So you don't have to watch
- 2:10Speaker 2: the shows to listen to the recaps. So that being
- 2:14Speaker 2: the point, So welcome and wow, this is this is
- 2:19Speaker 2: this is a crazy town USA popular.
- 2:24Speaker 3: It is crazy town usay. And I think we all
- 2:27Speaker 3: probably have cross paths with somebody like this, especially in entertainment. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 3: oh yeah, and family, I think it.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I mean like family, friends, acquaintances, guys. You know, like
- 2:40Speaker 2: I have a family, I have a family member personally
- 2:44Speaker 2: you know that's nowhere near in this level. But is
- 2:48Speaker 2: like a compulsive liar, Yeah, Okay, m hmm.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I mean, I say entertainment, but I mean it's anywhere
- 2:55Speaker 3: in the world that this happens. But I mean I think,
- 2:57Speaker 3: I I think because and in the world of entertainment
- 3:01Speaker 3: lends itself to fantasy, like you do kind of attract
- 3:05Speaker 3: a certain person, and not just like television and film,
- 3:09Speaker 3: I mean the act. I'm just saying in general.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh my god. When they started, I was like, say
- 3:15Speaker 2: no more. When they explained that drama she was in
- 3:18Speaker 2: the drama club, and I was like, and we so
- 3:20Speaker 2: many of us have been in the drama club. But
- 3:21Speaker 2: all I kept seeing was somebody who just wanted to
- 3:25Speaker 2: be a TV star. As Jannon Badoor said, all I
- 3:28Speaker 2: saw was somebody who loved theater. I was like, you
- 3:31Speaker 2: are a theater geek. Gone turn left, you know what
- 3:34Speaker 2: I mean, Like this to the next level. But at
- 3:37Speaker 2: the same time, obviously it's not that simple. I mean,
- 3:39Speaker 2: this is a major mental illness. And quite frankly, at
- 3:42Speaker 2: the end and towards the end, I just really I
- 3:46Speaker 2: couldn't help but feel bad for her because I just thought, yes,
- 3:50Speaker 2: she's destroyed lives, she's destroyed her own life, she's betrayed
- 3:55Speaker 2: so many people. She's completely fraudulent, but she is completely
- 4:01Speaker 2: mentally ill, and she has not had the help that
- 4:05Speaker 2: she needs, like she's been able to like run rampant
- 4:09Speaker 2: like this. And I did feel bad because she's a
- 4:12Speaker 2: she is a victim of her own brain. Unfortunately. So
- 4:18Speaker 2: though I know that she's responsible, you guys are looking
- 4:21Speaker 2: at me like, no, she needs to pay up.
- 4:22Speaker 1: She needs to.
- 4:24Speaker 3: She's a person.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I concur she has an illness, but she is a
- 4:30Speaker 1: con person. And the the no crying that that is
- 4:36Speaker 1: no empathy. People with no empathy sociopaths. They scare me
- 4:41Speaker 1: very deeply.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, because I think if she was a straight
- 4:49Speaker 3: white guy or you know, just so, I would be terrified.
- 4:53Speaker 3: I wouldn't have one ounce of any like I think
- 4:55Speaker 3: if if it was if it came in a different package,
- 4:59Speaker 3: you will probably be like, oh my god, run, don't
- 5:02Speaker 3: walk right. I don't feel bad for this person because
- 5:05Speaker 3: it's too dangerous.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Amy I did. I did feel bad for her about
- 5:09Speaker 1: one little time when she was like, you took my kids.
- 5:13Speaker 1: A part of me thought maybe she did like having
- 5:15Speaker 1: the kids. But then again, what does she say all
- 5:18Speaker 1: the time to that guy, I don't want kids?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Right, Well, yeah, they weren't kids when they got kids, right,
- 5:26Speaker 2: she got got married to.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Them, she got attached to them.
- 5:30Speaker 2: And yet she was in that house. Well, tell me
- 5:31Speaker 2: about this house across the alley from that. That fucking
- 5:34Speaker 2: like HGTV makeover thing that was insane, the drone shots
- 5:41Speaker 2: at that McDonald's house. I was like, guys, take it down.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Down a notch. Yes, but just the fact that you
- 5:48Speaker 3: can get a house and then across a big old
- 5:52Speaker 3: house and then across the street have your like office
- 5:56Speaker 3: set up. I was like, this is Kansas, living man,
- 5:58Speaker 3: this is great Kansas.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You Emily, you nailed it on the head.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Move.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we have a friend who's living in Where's where
- 6:06Speaker 1: is Kate Kentucky?
- 6:07Speaker 4: Uh?
- 6:08Speaker 1: Edmond, Oklahoma? Pardon me?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:11Speaker 1: And uh not to put her city on blast. She
- 6:16Speaker 1: lives in what I would call in l a a
- 6:18Speaker 1: ginormous mansion.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And wait a second, is it Oklahoma? It might be
- 6:23Speaker 3: Oklahoma that they live in. No, not in the an
- 6:27Speaker 3: anatomy of lies, is that where jas? It is Kansas? Okay?
- 6:32Speaker 1: I have no recollection. I feel like it's Topeka.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, thank.
- 6:37Speaker 1: You you say so, Amy. I will not fact check you.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Is that a Luke Perry coffee mug? What do you
- 6:43Speaker 1: got going on there?
- 6:45Speaker 2: No, it's it's Lake Tahoe but close.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Like I like it.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Even it would just say Luke Perry.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But with that background, this is the greatest thing that's
- 7:04Speaker 2: ever happened to me. Jan Perry. Sorry, all right, we
- 7:08Speaker 2: can leave. We have plenty to talk about.
- 7:10Speaker 1: All right, so let's dig in. Let's dig in.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Who wants to start?
- 7:15Speaker 1: Good? Yeah, so good, Emily, I heard tell you've seen this.
- 7:17Speaker 1: More of the ones I could see, I have almost
- 7:19Speaker 1: immediate rewatch.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Well. The one thing that stuck out to me, like
- 7:25Speaker 3: the second time I watched it was at the very beginning,
- 7:28Speaker 3: when they're talking about, Oh, first of all, there's a
- 7:32Speaker 3: couple of things. Her cadence is a question everything. When
- 7:37Speaker 3: she's saying, it's like I worked as an assistant for
- 7:41Speaker 3: a season and then they fired one of the writers
- 7:44Speaker 3: and I got his job, Like it's all that.
- 7:49Speaker 1: There is an official term for that, by the way,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I studied it in college. Oh what is it?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, what's the effect? No, what is it?
- 7:57Speaker 1: It's called up speak.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're right. You're totally right. Because everybody
- 8:03Speaker 3: accused Katie Porter of having up speak, and I was like,
- 8:06Speaker 3: just let her do her thing right. But I noticed
- 8:10Speaker 3: that this particular way of speaking I'm familiar with with
- 8:16Speaker 3: somebody that was.
- 8:18Speaker 4: A pathological liar in my life, and I was like, they.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Are speaking the same ways.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Wow. She had a lot of tells too, when she
- 8:27Speaker 2: was at that birthday, her fortieth birthday party, where it
- 8:29Speaker 2: was like, I'm so I can't believe I've made it
- 8:31Speaker 2: this far. I'm alive. I should be dead. Thank you
- 8:34Speaker 2: to all. This is a miracle.
- 8:36Speaker 3: And a doctor and doctor oh.
- 8:39Speaker 2: My god, they want to remain anonymous, so I'm not
- 8:42Speaker 2: going to call them out.
- 8:43Speaker 3: And then she does what she'sous.
- 8:45Speaker 2: She like reaches up to her head, you know, like
- 8:49Speaker 2: it's like it's a total lie. You can see she's
- 8:51Speaker 2: got these tells. And you know, no, I've never lied
- 8:56Speaker 2: and I've I have no regrets so far. No one's
- 9:00Speaker 2: been disappointed in my work so far, you know, all
- 9:03Speaker 2: these types of things along the way, you see. But
- 9:05Speaker 2: the doctor's thing, I literally ll oled out loud.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, this.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Is I mean, they flew all the way in from
- 9:12Speaker 2: Missouri to be here for me. I'm not going to
- 9:15Speaker 2: call them out.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's like they asked not to be They asked.
- 9:19Speaker 2: They asked not to be acknowledged.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Right, but it's like a Hollywood party.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, please, My jaw hit the downstairs neighbor's floor.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That party, man.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Unba believable that party. That And also speaking of that party, frankly,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I don't believe those are the kind of candles you're
- 9:44Speaker 1: supposed to blow out. I think she really biffed it
- 9:46Speaker 1: on that. That was another moment where I was like, Wow,
- 9:48Speaker 1: maybe work Lily insane. It sells fireworks. They're not supposed
- 9:52Speaker 1: to it's just decorative.
- 9:54Speaker 2: And yes, it was insane and we had to see
- 9:58Speaker 2: it over and over again. It was a fire hazard.
- 10:01Speaker 3: She probably people probably wanted to have a fortieth birthday
- 10:04Speaker 3: party for her, and she probably knew that, and then
- 10:07Speaker 3: she'd have to like expose herself too much if somebody
- 10:10Speaker 3: who's going to have a party for her, So.
- 10:12Speaker 2: She probably people would be talking and connecting for her.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's such a.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Great I'm just realizing that now.
- 10:20Speaker 2: You are so right. Well, this whole thing about like
- 10:24Speaker 2: it is pretty amazing that she did get genuinely like
- 10:28Speaker 2: actually got writing jobs on True Blood and Vampire Diary
- 10:32Speaker 2: on her own.
- 10:33Speaker 3: That was the point I noticed on the second time
- 10:36Speaker 3: I watched that she is talking about when she got
- 10:40Speaker 3: promoted from a writer's assistant to a writer. Is that
- 10:45Speaker 3: something happened with the guy and then she he didn't
- 10:50Speaker 3: do his job, she killed him.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I'm sure she.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Like probably loosened the soil with some bullshit. Yeah, got
- 11:01Speaker 3: him fired.
- 11:08Speaker 1: At the bottom, fell out from under the guy.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking. And the fact that she had applied
- 11:19Speaker 2: to get that job on Gray's Anatomy didn't get it
- 11:21Speaker 2: and she was so mad. But then I wasn't going
- 11:23Speaker 2: to watch it, and then memorized basically every single episode,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and then with this whole cancer thing when she decided
- 11:31Speaker 2: that she was gonna she she sent that book to
- 11:33Speaker 2: her friend, her friend coming with her to the Mayo
- 11:35Speaker 2: clinic and her friend going inside, and she's like so
- 11:38Speaker 2: mad that she went inside. This reminded me of that
- 11:41Speaker 2: podcast that you turned me on to, Emily Commanda Commander.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I love, yes, love that podcast. Yes, this really smacked
- 11:52Speaker 1: that too.
- 11:53Speaker 2: It smacked to that. It smacked to that big time.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Thank you actually, because I was literally least seconds from
- 12:01Speaker 1: saying do you do you guys know about a podcast
- 12:04Speaker 1: about a mom who did this?
- 12:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Emily told me about it and I binged it
- 12:09Speaker 2: and it's like, so she had started this stuff early
- 12:13Speaker 2: on and it was really just a ruse in the
- 12:15Speaker 2: beginning with her friend. Then she then she was I
- 12:20Speaker 2: guess she wanted to like move on to other writing jobs.
- 12:24Speaker 2: And she wrote an article that to lle about battling cancer,
- 12:27Speaker 2: about the Friday night lights thing, and then she got
- 12:29Speaker 2: that viral thing about.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Her fuck her for using Friday night lights and how
- 12:34Speaker 3: dare Yeah that was see Coach Taylor's precious fucking time
- 12:38Speaker 3: with that state picture.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah. I want to say something back to the difference
- 12:44Speaker 1: between Finch and Scamanda. I think that Scamanda is not
- 12:49Speaker 1: a true sociopath. I think that was a grifter thing
- 12:52Speaker 1: and a money grab. She wanted the money, so the
- 12:55Speaker 1: Amanda wanted all the donations. She wanted the money. I
- 12:59Speaker 1: do I think they are the same. Yeah, But as
- 13:03Speaker 1: a listener of true crime podcasts of these natures, I
- 13:07Speaker 1: will tell you another thing. Jen, the.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Poor Jen Buyer.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Wife. Yes, Jen, when she said we pulled up to
- 13:20Speaker 1: the beach and I said, I know you lied about this.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I know you lied about that. I know you light
- 13:24Speaker 1: about this. All I was thinking is, bitch, you are
- 13:29Speaker 1: so lucky she didn't murder you in that way. That
- 13:32Speaker 1: is what the podcast would have done.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, wow, Okay, here's what I was thinking. Bit,
- 13:40Speaker 2: why did you fly all the way to Los Angeles
- 13:44Speaker 2: to confront her to then lose your mind on the beach?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah fucking mora. Okay, well, well hang.
- 13:52Speaker 3: On now, Jen, she's very open that she is not
- 13:55Speaker 3: maybe making the most stable decisions.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Okay, She's like, we needed a place, we need it,
- 14:01Speaker 2: a place to Sorry, all right, do.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Not make fun of Jen's vocal fry.
- 14:08Speaker 2: It never let up.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I mean, she's been through Hallie.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I know, but I'm sorry. There is something too. Someone
- 14:16Speaker 2: inviting trauma into your life at this level again and
- 14:21Speaker 2: again and again. Okay, I'm not talking about Brendan. That's
- 14:24Speaker 2: a whole different story. That's a complete victim. But when
- 14:28Speaker 2: it comes to this, she very much turned her head
- 14:33Speaker 2: in many different directions and was overlooking it. She made
- 14:35Speaker 2: extremely reckless decisions. She brought this woman into her life
- 14:40Speaker 2: and married her four weeks later after her kids experienced
- 14:44Speaker 2: it a traumatic situation, and she wasn't even able to
- 14:47Speaker 2: be with them this entire time. So I have an
- 14:49Speaker 2: issue with Jen. Okay, but then wait.
- 14:51Speaker 3: A second, let me wait one quick argument to that.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yes, how fucked up?
- 14:56Speaker 3: Was the apparent psychologists and all this, Oh my god,
- 15:00Speaker 3: that probably was guiding some of Jen's decisions, especially early
- 15:05Speaker 3: on because they met at the mental facility, and then
- 15:08Speaker 3: the psychologists stayed on and was both of their individual therapist.
- 15:13Speaker 2: That sounds like, wait, that the you mean the psych
- 15:17Speaker 2: so Jen's psychologist that she's talking about that ultimately Elizabeth
- 15:22Speaker 2: stole from her in the end, was the psychologist from
- 15:25Speaker 2: the institution.
- 15:26Speaker 1: That they were in.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yes, oh my god. I did not know that. I
- 15:29Speaker 2: thought it was just someone on the outside. So this
- 15:32Speaker 2: person knew both of them.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Was and was Jen's I think hers right, it was,
- 15:40Speaker 3: And then I think, yeah, that was the violent my understanding.
- 15:44Speaker 3: And then so it started then to like once they
- 15:49Speaker 3: were out, was still gens and then was also Elizabeth's
- 15:52Speaker 3: and then Elizabeth and then fully Elizabeth's and then advocating
- 15:56Speaker 3: for Elizabeth right crazy.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That was one of the most intense moments I think,
- 16:02Speaker 2: And I thought that level of betrayal is like you
- 16:06Speaker 2: can't even compare that, because that is a professional that
- 16:09Speaker 2: you're trusting in and you think that they're the person
- 16:12Speaker 2: that you're going to be able to like actually, you know,
- 16:15Speaker 2: stick up for you and be there for you. And
- 16:17Speaker 2: for her to switch sides in the middle of it
- 16:19Speaker 2: was like and it just left her alone.
- 16:21Speaker 3: And I also feel bad for Jen because it's like
- 16:25Speaker 3: when somebody is I mean, she was actually really trying
- 16:29Speaker 3: to get the most help you can get. She knows
- 16:32Speaker 3: she has these problems, and she was trying to get
- 16:34Speaker 3: that help. Yeah, and then she got.
- 16:37Speaker 2: She was doing the work. She was doing all the work.
- 16:40Speaker 3: And there was a wolf in there and a wolf
- 16:42Speaker 3: and that was and that was Finch, and she was
- 16:46Speaker 3: just looking she was a predator. Yeah, and apparently maybe
- 16:50Speaker 3: even this doctor was too, so in a different way.
- 16:53Speaker 3: So it's like, no, Jen did not get better in
- 16:56Speaker 3: that way. Like to your point, Amy, like how could
- 17:00Speaker 3: she be to whatever? I know you didn't say that
- 17:03Speaker 3: I'm exaggerating, but like I think she actually tried and
- 17:06Speaker 3: then the and she got fucked over it.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I do agree, I do agree with you, but and
- 17:12Speaker 2: I think that it was an impossible situation for her. Obviously,
- 17:15Speaker 2: this is a comedy podcast, and we're discussing a very
- 17:18Speaker 2: traumatic series, so I'm gonna be off color. But at
- 17:22Speaker 2: the end of the day, she was gonna lose lose
- 17:24Speaker 2: situation because I don't know how anybody can make soch
- 17:27Speaker 2: any good decisions based on being in a traumatic situation. However,
- 17:32Speaker 2: if the most important thing to her is getting your
- 17:34Speaker 2: kids back, I think it's pretty simple to say to
- 17:39Speaker 2: not include someone else in the in the situation based
- 17:43Speaker 2: on the fact that you're just getting them back and
- 17:46Speaker 2: your ex husband did commit suicide and you're now bringing
- 17:50Speaker 2: this person in on that exact day.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I mean.
- 17:55Speaker 2: You understand her.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, to quote baby Face sent pebbles in there e
- 18:02Speaker 1: pitome of a duet. Love makes things, Love makes things happen.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You never know when you're gonna love, You never know
- 18:11Speaker 1: who you're gonna trust.
- 18:14Speaker 3: And it's also a chemical reaction.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I think Jenna had been through hell. This this Finchy,
- 18:25Speaker 1: which I love the whole time. Everyone's so cute about
- 18:27Speaker 1: her nicknames while they're like, she's an absolute nightmare, little
- 18:30Speaker 1: finchy bird all Yeah, told chi uh Finci swept in
- 18:37Speaker 1: And I have a vibe that I have two sides
- 18:40Speaker 1: of the love coin. One is she just wanted to
- 18:43Speaker 1: date someone so she could siphen some more stories. Yeah
- 18:47Speaker 1: we all think that, right, But she.
- 18:50Speaker 3: Went to a trauma center to find that.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly really yeah, actually very smart yet again calculated.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But the other thing that I do think is Elizabeth
- 19:02Speaker 1: Fincher did it to yourself by letting someone in. Everyone
- 19:05Speaker 1: knows the only person you can trust is yourself. Don't date.
- 19:10Speaker 1: You're going to have to keep it real if you
- 19:12Speaker 1: want to keep on this track and end up one
- 19:14Speaker 1: of the hottest tickets in Hollywood. Sorry, no dating. Yes,
- 19:19Speaker 1: that you let someone behind the curtain.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It's a great point, which makes me wonder what is
- 19:25Speaker 2: behind all of her motivation to fly out to Kansas
- 19:29Speaker 2: City and save this person's life and be the hero
- 19:32Speaker 2: for this family. Like, what's behind that? If it's just
- 19:35Speaker 2: a story that she's looking for, that's a huge that
- 19:39Speaker 2: just yeah, it's like, was she maybe looking for something more? Now? Emily,
- 19:45Speaker 2: you have the statement there that she put on her
- 19:48Speaker 2: Instagram and this was her response.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Ticket Drama Darling. I haven't seen this yet, so I'm
- 19:57Speaker 1: very excited.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Well, it's basically her response to after Anatomy of a Lie,
- 20:03Speaker 2: came out, and what's weird about it is that there's
- 20:07Speaker 2: something in there that is also doesn't pan out. I
- 20:11Speaker 2: don't know who's telling the truth. Because she mentions that
- 20:14Speaker 2: they fell in love and that Jen proposed to her
- 20:19Speaker 2: with a lavender wrapped around her finger, and I was
- 20:23Speaker 2: like what, But I thought that Elizabeth proposed to her, so.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Well, you know, maybe there was it was a little
- 20:29Speaker 3: of both, you know what I mean, like maybe they
- 20:31Speaker 3: played engagement, you know how that goes. You know, when
- 20:34Speaker 3: Brett brought you lavender, but then you were also proposing
- 20:38Speaker 3: to him with.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Sure that's true.
- 20:40Speaker 1: That did happen.
- 20:41Speaker 2: That did happen.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You're right, I love how I thought you were about
- 20:44Speaker 1: to be, Like, lavender is never in season in Canada.
- 20:50Speaker 1: On the table, did.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Either of you watch The British Office, because there's an
- 20:57Speaker 3: episode where there's like the like the kind of guy
- 21:00Speaker 3: that can upstage Ricket your vase in the office and
- 21:03Speaker 3: his name's Finch and Ricky's your vase is kissing his
- 21:05Speaker 3: ass the whole time He's like Finch.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Ay, I forgot about that.
- 21:10Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I thought every time they said Finchy, I'm like, oh.
- 21:14Speaker 2: My god, that's so funny. Okay, so do you want
- 21:16Speaker 2: to say, yeah, Jamie's got her drama Darling had on.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It looks looking so good. Oh no, her headphones are
- 21:26Speaker 2: falling apart. So in this Instagram statement, by the way,
- 21:30Speaker 2: what is wild is everything that she admitted on the
- 21:34Speaker 2: actual I'm sorry in in real time she's, oh, okay,
- 21:41Speaker 2: I'm just just gonna talk until you. I was finally okay,
- 21:44Speaker 2: Jamie's got her headphones back together. But what I was
- 21:47Speaker 2: gonna say is on the show she kind of retracts
- 21:50Speaker 2: a lot of her lies, but she sticks to that.
- 21:55Speaker 2: She never retracts the director uh, the acusation that the
- 22:00Speaker 2: directors sectually harassed her, and she never fully retracts that
- 22:04Speaker 2: her brother was abusive on some level.
- 22:07Speaker 3: So that is fucking crazy.
- 22:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Also, like, don't forget remember at the beginning when the
- 22:12Speaker 3: theater gal is remembering that she wrote the Daddy's Home
- 22:17Speaker 3: Play about her dad who was abusive father. Yeah, she
- 22:22Speaker 3: didn't say it was her dad, but it was so
- 22:24Speaker 3: like fucking remembering her parents were like her mom was
- 22:28Speaker 3: like crying.
- 22:29Speaker 2: You're so right. It was probably some other student story
- 22:32Speaker 2: from that Drama Department of Television.
- 22:35Speaker 1: She was watching. Yes, Yeah, yeah, you know what when
- 22:39Speaker 1: she was like, I don't deny what happened to my brother,
- 22:42Speaker 1: he would hold withhold the remote control and the room.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I'm like, bitch, that is like I did that yesterday
- 22:51Speaker 2: to my husband. I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I did not
- 22:54Speaker 2: do that. I did throw the room. I did throw
- 22:58Speaker 2: the remote towards him one time. I'm at the walk
- 23:00Speaker 2: So I was very mad, okay and he and he
- 23:03Speaker 2: was like, I can't believe it did that. He's like,
- 23:05Speaker 2: you almost hit me? And I go, if I wanted
- 23:06Speaker 2: to hit you, I would have hit you. And that
- 23:09Speaker 2: was like probably the worst fight we ever got in.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And it was during COVID because everyone was going fucking berserk.
- 23:15Speaker 1: What was what? What was the circumstance?
- 23:17Speaker 2: It was during COVID, and I think we had both
- 23:20Speaker 2: had drinks that night, and so I don't remember. I
- 23:23Speaker 2: honestly do not remember what we were even fighting about.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I can't even remember the fight. But all I know
- 23:29Speaker 2: is I was seething with anger. No, no, I threw
- 23:31Speaker 2: it in the room at the wall. I threw it
- 23:33Speaker 2: at the wall, you guys, Yeah.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Did it bounce off the walk break? Yeah?
- 23:37Speaker 2: No, it didn't break. It was it didn't throw it
- 23:39Speaker 2: that hard. It did not it did not break. And
- 23:43Speaker 2: he was like, what the fuck he was Look, I'm
- 23:46Speaker 2: telling him, look that it happened. Okay, that's the worst.
- 23:50Speaker 2: That's the worst. That's the thing I've ever done.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I don't even know that I've ever seen you ever
- 23:55Speaker 1: even barely upset.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Really Okay, Well that's the that's wow, that's the that's
- 24:04Speaker 2: the worst it's ever been. Is the worst fight we
- 24:07Speaker 2: ever got into, and I don't even know what it's
- 24:09Speaker 2: about yet.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Was when I couldn't get my headset that cat.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Okay, So all right. So in this statement, she says, well,
- 24:23Speaker 2: I'm not going to read the whole thing. It just
- 24:24Speaker 2: says I lied about so much things so many people
- 24:28Speaker 2: have been devastated by in real life. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Feels like the smallest words compared to what I've done,
- 24:35Speaker 2: Yet they are the truest. I trap myself in the
- 24:39Speaker 2: addition of lies, betraying and traumatizing my closest family, friends
- 24:43Speaker 2: and colleagues. I'm making amends and expressing my genuine remorse
- 24:47Speaker 2: as I best can when people are ready.
- 24:52Speaker 3: So it's every It's also I can't help. Like every
- 24:56Speaker 3: time she speaks or anything, it sounds like a Gray's
- 24:59Speaker 3: Anatomy monologue to me too, and like and sometimes I
- 25:03Speaker 3: lied and sometimes and there's always like a fourth and.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Sorry she got caught. Not sorry you guys.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Yeah you know we didn't start back up. We were recording.
- 25:18Speaker 2: R we are no, we are recording. Oh okay, yeah,
- 25:22Speaker 2: you guys?
- 25:23Speaker 3: Did you DIEI it was an honest prank that I
- 25:28Speaker 3: didn't mean to do. That's not a lie.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Go aheady, did you guys die? When Jen went to
- 25:36Speaker 2: go look through her stuff in the Facebook and she
- 25:39Speaker 2: was all dressed as Wednesday.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Yeah, look, I'm pretty good. She's like, where what's she
- 25:47Speaker 1: on the day of the shooting? What a Wednesday?
- 25:52Speaker 2: And she qualified for Best Costume? You qualified for Best Costume?
- 25:58Speaker 2: You weren't there?
- 25:59Speaker 1: Wait? Oh god, oh good, Oh my god. It was
- 26:04Speaker 1: so that was insane too. I just picked up the
- 26:09Speaker 1: blown of bart bits. It's like you would not be
- 26:11Speaker 1: allowed on their crime scene.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Well, the one writer, the guy with the pool in
- 26:16Speaker 3: the background, Mark Wildling. I had to write his name down.
- 26:21Speaker 3: He was the one that was back at Gray's Anatomy, Like,
- 26:24Speaker 3: isn't it The FBI is there, like what is going on?
- 26:28Speaker 3: And then her friend Andy was like, well, I don't
- 26:31Speaker 3: know what. I don't know the Jewish faith that well,
- 26:33Speaker 3: so I don't know if there's some protocol like and
- 26:37Speaker 3: so they kept giving her a pass and I couldn't
- 26:40Speaker 3: believe that she had them all fulled because in our
- 26:47Speaker 3: world we had somebody like that. I don't know if
- 26:51Speaker 3: you guys know this person or not, but like people
- 26:55Speaker 3: figured it out and words spread and there was no
- 26:58Speaker 3: going back. We all knew the bullshit. And so I'm like, wow,
- 27:03Speaker 3: these people really believed her for a long time. And
- 27:07Speaker 3: the other thing is she did look ill.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I will say, I mean though she is the picture
- 27:15Speaker 2: of illness. And she straight up was getting that bruise
- 27:19Speaker 2: kit like it's the it's you know, you go right
- 27:21Speaker 2: over and get like the palettes with the green and
- 27:25Speaker 2: the blue. And she was probably doing that.
- 27:28Speaker 3: But her hair was thinning.
- 27:29Speaker 2: You can't take that thin you But she was shaving
- 27:32Speaker 2: her head, wasn't she when she was putting on the
- 27:35Speaker 2: was she not?
- 27:36Speaker 3: No, there was like it was like very thin. And
- 27:39Speaker 3: I thought like maybe she was like maybe taking something
- 27:43Speaker 3: like like maybe she was ingesting something.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I think she had a little bit of like possibly
- 27:49Speaker 1: PCOS because she had a little bit of but you
- 27:55Speaker 1: could tell she had a little bit of a.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Hair right hair, Yes, hormonia balance, Yes.
- 28:01Speaker 1: These are all signs of polycystic ovariance synopsis sassafrass syndrome.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Before I lose it even more, I do want to
- 28:13Speaker 2: talk about one skin I didn't add, and I just
- 28:16Speaker 2: want to say, before you hear it, this is actually
- 28:20Speaker 2: this product. I am so into you guys. I have
- 28:24Speaker 2: if you're watching this, I have zero makeup on and
- 28:28Speaker 2: I have legit noticed a change in my skin since
- 28:31Speaker 2: I've been using the the face cream and the I cream.
- 28:35Speaker 2: So before you hear this ad, I want you to
- 28:38Speaker 2: know I am I'm walking the walk and talking the talk.
- 28:42Speaker 2: So and they're giving there's like a holiday gift thing,
- 28:45Speaker 2: so just take a second. And here it is. The
- 28:48Speaker 2: holidays are here, and so are the peptides. Okay, Well
- 28:52Speaker 2: that leads me to my next point. Today's sponsor, One Skin,
- 28:56Speaker 2: is really taking the holidays to heart and it's the

- 29:33Speaker 2: the internet. People are obsessed with skincare, and you want
- 29:37Speaker 2: to be obsessed with the right skincare. And when One
- 29:40Speaker 2: Skin came into my life, I was immediately impressed. However,
- 29:45Speaker 2: you got to watch for the long game. And let
- 29:47Speaker 2: me tell you what, One Skin they have it down.
- 29:50Speaker 2: They are in it for the long haul. Because the
- 29:54Speaker 2: way that my skin has reacted to these peptides, to
- 29:58Speaker 2: the One Skin products is amazing. I have noticed that
- 30:01Speaker 2: my skin is more radiant. I have noticed that I
- 30:04Speaker 2: never have dry skin that has not happened to me
- 30:07Speaker 2: before I have. My skin is firmer, it's healthier, I have,
- 30:12Speaker 2: the skin is more even toned. I am telling you
- 30:16Speaker 2: that One Skin has it locked down. The difference between
- 30:20Speaker 2: One Skin's products and others on the market is that
- 30:23Speaker 2: one skin is formulated with their proprietary os one peptide.
- 30:27Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about. You want the peptides. The
- 30:31Speaker 2: four founders who are all skin longevity scientists. By the way,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but that's who I want
- 30:38Speaker 2: in my court. They develop this after testing nine hundred
- 30:42Speaker 2: other ingredients, and it's scientifically proven to switch off the
- 30:47Speaker 2: aging dysfunctional cells that cause lines, wrinkles, and thinning skin.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Hello under your eyes. Yes. So the os one ie
- 30:55Speaker 2: topical supplement, which I absolutely love, that's one of the
- 30:58Speaker 2: products that I die for. Those peptides build up the
- 31:01Speaker 2: epidermal thickness, so that's a major go too for me.
- 31:04Speaker 2: The other one for me is the os one Face
- 31:07Speaker 2: topical supplement. I don't When I put it on my face,
- 31:11Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god. I feel like I'm feeling
- 31:13Speaker 2: the peptides are working. I like the way it smells,
- 31:17Speaker 2: if that's what peptides smell like. I love it because
- 31:20Speaker 2: it feels like it's doing something. I'm giving myself the
- 31:23Speaker 2: gift of peptides. I don't know about you, but that's
- 31:25Speaker 2: what I'm doing. But you can get fifteen percent off
- 31:29Speaker 2: with my code Drama at on skin dot co. That's
- 31:34Speaker 2: fifteen percent off at one skin dot co with code Drama.
- 31:38Speaker 2: After you purchase, they'll ask you worry I heard about them?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Please support my show and tell them that I sent you.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Tell them that the lady's obsessed with one skin and
- 31:45Speaker 2: obsessed with peptides sent you there, and you should invest
- 31:49Speaker 2: in the health and longevity of your skin with one skin.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Trust me, your future self will thank you.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I want to say something back to what you just said,
- 31:58Speaker 1: Emily about when you know some one. So I also
- 32:01Speaker 1: knew someone this was in Detroit, and this is not
- 32:07Speaker 1: the guy I was also mentioned. This is a whole
- 32:10Speaker 1: other person. And what I came to understand is that people,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and this is what I think the writers did, and
- 32:17Speaker 1: all the people who in her life. People tend to
- 32:20Speaker 1: believe people because they themselves usually tell the truth. So
- 32:26Speaker 1: this person that I used to know would be like,
- 32:28Speaker 1: like we'd all be sitting around and someone like like,
- 32:30Speaker 1: let's say I say something hilarious, okay, and everybody last,
- 32:33Speaker 1: let's just say I I can't. Let's just say let's
- 32:38Speaker 1: just say this was this is pre Second City, this
- 32:40Speaker 1: is when I was in college, and this person would
- 32:42Speaker 1: be like, did I tell you I'd saved someone from
- 32:44Speaker 1: drowning in a lake? And we'd all be like, what happened?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Like we didn't. Then I came to start realizing, oh,
- 32:50Speaker 1: they're lying all the time, and I started noticing all
- 32:53Speaker 1: the time, these little lies, and and then I started
- 32:56Speaker 1: to look like the crazy person because I was like, like,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I remember one time this person said, oh, I was
- 33:02Speaker 1: at the gas station and they gave me free cigarettes.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And then my other friend goes, oh, it must be nice.
- 33:07Speaker 1: They have boobs, and everyone laughed, and I'm thinking to myself, no,
- 33:09Speaker 1: I gave you free cigarettes. If you were at the
- 33:11Speaker 1: gas station, they might give you a free pop or
- 33:13Speaker 1: a free like some candy. But cigarettes is their moneymaker,
- 33:16Speaker 1: that is their stock. But then if I start yelling that,
- 33:20Speaker 1: I start to look nuts.
- 33:22Speaker 2: You know, No, you're right, because then that's their intention.
- 33:25Speaker 2: It's like you can never call them out, which is
- 33:27Speaker 2: why it's it's this group of writers had no escape
- 33:33Speaker 2: from this, and that was the most fascinating thing to watch,
- 33:37Speaker 2: these especially the two like the one whose story was
- 33:40Speaker 2: actually stolen, the about her father's race, Ki ky Leilei Donovan. Yeah, right,
- 33:47Speaker 2: she was like between her and that other guy that
- 33:51Speaker 2: you said. I just kept thinking to myself, they are
- 33:56Speaker 2: They're kind of having to put it on for the
- 33:58Speaker 2: camera in the sense of the like we just believed her.
- 34:01Speaker 2: We just thought, oh my god, I felt so bad,
- 34:03Speaker 2: and I was like, you were sitting there going are
- 34:05Speaker 2: you kidding me?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Again?
- 34:06Speaker 2: They know, Oh my gosh, we'd betext one hundred percent
- 34:10Speaker 2: from the jump, and they have to be like, oh,
- 34:13Speaker 2: we totally understand, Like that's horrific. I can't believe this
- 34:15Speaker 2: is happening to you because they have to. She is
- 34:18Speaker 2: in charge, she's the co executive producer under Shonda Rhymes.
- 34:23Speaker 2: And the fact that she was able to get away
- 34:24Speaker 2: with this and then go off. But I did want
- 34:27Speaker 2: to ask you a question when she went to the
- 34:32Speaker 2: when when there was that attack on the synagogue, So
- 34:39Speaker 2: when she was like freaking out when that happened. They
- 34:42Speaker 2: said that she just up and left and flew there
- 34:44Speaker 2: to Pittsburgh, Right, is that what happened? So she just
- 34:47Speaker 2: picked up and left, saying that what she had been
- 34:50Speaker 2: there before, she knows people, and she had to go
- 34:53Speaker 2: get their ashes. Why did what does she say she
- 34:55Speaker 2: had to do or why did she.
- 34:56Speaker 3: They they don't cremate in the Jewish faith, but they Yeah,
- 35:01Speaker 3: she'd knows she had to go and be with the bodies.
- 35:04Speaker 2: But why why I knew? Okay, so she said she.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Used to go there back in the day, and she's
- 35:09Speaker 1: starting out of the room and didn't even say anything.
- 35:11Speaker 1: She just sent an email later. But I also thought
- 35:14Speaker 1: something else about her, and I just cannot wait to
- 35:17Speaker 1: tell y'all what I was thinking. Okay, I think that
- 35:19Speaker 1: she didn't even go to Pittsburgh. I think that she
- 35:22Speaker 1: another costumes on time leep. I think, well, yes, she
- 35:25Speaker 1: loved to dress up and she loved to rest.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I was just going to say, the man, you love
- 35:29Speaker 2: to sleep.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I get every time someone thought she was off doing something,
- 35:34Speaker 1: I feel like she was laying in bed watching the
- 35:37Speaker 1: twenty twenty one equivalent of TikTok.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I agree. I think she had to escape to rejuvenate,
- 35:46Speaker 2: to recharge, because this is exhausting having to live a lie,
- 35:51Speaker 2: not one lie, tremendous amount. She's like, this is my
- 35:56Speaker 2: ticket to leave, figure something else out and rest. I
- 36:01Speaker 2: totally agree, which is why she's over in that house
- 36:03Speaker 2: across the way, sleeping, sleeping.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I also could see her being so manic to
- 36:13Speaker 3: just fly to Pittsburgh and get a hotel room and
- 36:16Speaker 3: do it and not really ever leave the hotel room.
- 36:18Speaker 2: That's exactly, I totally right, exactly that she probably did
- 36:23Speaker 2: go there and then just held up in a hotel
- 36:26Speaker 2: one hundred percent.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Vibe that she likes to sleep kids kind of alluded
- 36:30Speaker 1: to that, and she just feels kind of lazy. She
- 36:34Speaker 1: feels kind of like she's just like chilling. Uh, you know,
- 36:37Speaker 1: when she leaves these places, I think she goes to rest.
- 36:42Speaker 2: I think that it has a lot to do with
- 36:44Speaker 2: the mental illness too. I mean, your brain is like
- 36:49Speaker 2: it outside of control so.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Much to keep track of.
- 36:54Speaker 3: What do you think? Dana and I were texting about
- 36:56Speaker 3: it when I watched it initially.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Chang ex spread without us. I don't love it.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Well, you're really gonna hate it too, because it's mainly
- 37:07Speaker 3: about you being a pathological liar.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Never again, I am, I am no kid.
- 37:13Speaker 3: You're lying, right, guys.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I just got a text. I'm going to be in
- 37:16Speaker 2: the touring company of Wicked. I'm going to be Alphaba.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Oh this is so exciting. Good lie, good lie that
- 37:23Speaker 1: for you. You'd be great. You have a great voice.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Jamie's lying again. She's lying again. Jamie's You're lying in congratulations,
- 37:32Speaker 3: Amy though, thank you, thank you.
- 37:33Speaker 1: So did you think that I really had to have
- 37:36Speaker 1: a knee replacement today? When I put that lie on.
- 37:39Speaker 3: The threads, I will say, I will say for one
- 37:42Speaker 3: second and I was like, oh, wait, this is a lie,
- 37:45Speaker 3: and I could have you could have had me praying actually.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Because you wrote back and You're like really, And I
- 37:50Speaker 1: was like, is that a bit on her purchase? Right?
- 37:53Speaker 1: Go on? You? Okay?
- 37:54Speaker 5: So you and so so because we were like, what,
- 37:58Speaker 5: we don't know what this Shonda rhymes think because it
- 38:02Speaker 5: wasn't like she was that far removed from everything, and
- 38:07Speaker 5: we were trying to figure that out.
- 38:09Speaker 3: And I wonder if well, like so, I'm thinking, I
- 38:14Speaker 3: bet she can't have a statement because I think like
- 38:18Speaker 3: there is a there is a mental medical issue going
- 38:22Speaker 3: on here, and for I wonder if yes, yeah, so
- 38:27Speaker 3: they like had to let her go for medical reasons.
- 38:29Speaker 2: That's what I love that they did point that out,
- 38:31Speaker 2: that they had to go into the books and really
- 38:34Speaker 2: make sure how can we let her go without getting sued?
- 38:41Speaker 2: She did, Dear Shanda.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I mean that.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Especially because Gray's Anatomy had vilified Jen so hard. That's
- 38:55Speaker 3: where I'm like, yeah, that's why I think like the
- 38:58Speaker 3: writers didn't like really get it, because Andy was saying,
- 39:03Speaker 3: did Jen Trapfinch? Is she making her like her cap?
- 39:09Speaker 3: Did she kidnap her? Basically? And now she's like brain
- 39:12Speaker 3: like some fucking crazy workaround. So for Jen to then
- 39:17Speaker 3: email Gray's Anatomy in that headspace of like this psychopath.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Uh, she was very brave to expose her. I thought,
- 39:28Speaker 2: holy shit, she's really going for it. She was like,
- 39:30Speaker 2: I emailed Shanda, I got in touch with the Vanity Fair.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I uh, you know. I was like, okay, bitch, now
- 39:37Speaker 2: we're taking it to Hollywood. I mean, let's be real.
- 39:40Speaker 2: She was swept up in this fantasy of like she
- 39:44Speaker 2: was swept up to LA. She was flown out to
- 39:46Speaker 2: l A. She was then in this private home and
- 39:49Speaker 2: they like she was rescued.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I mean, like, I mean, millionaire who don't even have
- 40:01Speaker 1: a bit of security. The writer raised Anatomy.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Is like, that's my I know, that's my security.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You bring Kansas to LA. That's why my friends rich.
- 40:10Speaker 1: They're like, I know you're rich. I saw you on
- 40:13Speaker 1: parks and wreck that tiny coaster. Oh my god, that's
- 40:18Speaker 1: what happens.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Oh on, Jamie, that's what happens when you bring Kansas
- 40:22Speaker 2: to la. I think that you're all that. And she
- 40:25Speaker 2: knew that. Wait, this other thing killed me when Anna
- 40:29Speaker 2: Paquin gave her a kidney, got a pack. When kidney
- 40:37Speaker 2: you didn't want anyone to know, I mean.
- 40:40Speaker 1: And ice, it's my new kidney pack, one in ice.
- 40:45Speaker 4: And ice.
- 40:46Speaker 1: That's great.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I got to get that true blood kidney. And the
- 40:49Speaker 2: fact that she goes to the doctor and the kidneys.
- 40:51Speaker 2: He's like, your kidneys look fine and gen well.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Also the nurse Jen like that is crazy too, that
- 41:01Speaker 3: I think fits in her narcissism. Thought, great, I'll accidentally
- 41:06Speaker 3: when I'm with Jen, she's going to co sign under
- 41:09Speaker 3: this medical shit for me. And then Jen's like, where's
- 41:13Speaker 3: your port scar or whatever? Like she put that together
- 41:18Speaker 3: and she put together the kidney. The doctor said about
- 41:20Speaker 3: the kidney. But then yeah, but She's like, I never
- 41:24Speaker 3: looked at her body that way.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, how did I get that? Jen had
- 41:28Speaker 1: been through a horrible trauma, her her brain was a
- 41:31Speaker 1: little scrambled. She found her voice there at the end.
- 41:34Speaker 1: But also, when you are a victim of DV. I think,
- 41:38Speaker 1: like anyone who you feel can slightly protect you in
- 41:41Speaker 1: that moment, you're just so scared to even be alone
- 41:44Speaker 1: for one minute even you know.
- 41:46Speaker 2: No, you're right, And that does make sense that she
- 41:49Speaker 2: got she jumped into this quickly. I do get that
- 41:51Speaker 2: one hundred percent.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And she was manipulated to by the Bye Finch.
- 41:56Speaker 3: She did not have a chance. She didn't have a
- 41:58Speaker 3: chance Jen.
- 42:00Speaker 2: I mean, I found it really interesting when Jen basically
- 42:03Speaker 2: looked at the camera and was like, I mean I
- 42:05Speaker 2: met her in a mental institution.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that, Like what was I thinking.
- 42:09Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, that does not sound good, and you're right,
- 42:12Speaker 2: like it makes sense, but I get it, Like she
- 42:16Speaker 2: really did come in and whisk her away. When someone
- 42:20Speaker 2: called Elizabeth I was one of the writers an emotional terrorist,
- 42:25Speaker 2: and I was like, thank you. Remember when Kristen Dote
- 42:27Speaker 2: when stasy called Christen Doti emotional terrorists. I was like, no,
- 42:31Speaker 2: this is an emotional terrorist.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah yeah.
- 42:33Speaker 2: And I found it heartbreaking when Jen's daughter said she
- 42:39Speaker 2: was worried. She she's very she's an amazing young lady,
- 42:42Speaker 2: and she was.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Like very, very put together.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Yeah, and she said if she doesn't stick around. You know,
- 42:49Speaker 2: she's she's going to be in every photo and she's
- 42:53Speaker 2: going to be an emotional photo bomber because I'm going
- 42:55Speaker 2: to remember these moments.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. She a way of phrasing a couple
- 43:01Speaker 3: things that I thought, like.
- 43:03Speaker 2: She's the writer, she's she's she was really good her
- 43:07Speaker 2: father that house, when she came back to that house
- 43:11Speaker 2: and what he did to it, and the terror that
- 43:13Speaker 2: he put them through. That video he sent her when
- 43:16Speaker 2: she was still in the facility was the scariest.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Then for Elizabeth Finch to then manipulate Jen years later
- 43:27Speaker 3: with a similar video like I'm like that was supposed Yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 3: next level oair. She knew Finch knew exactly what she
- 43:38Speaker 3: was doing, and Jenna thought that Finch was in la
- 43:40Speaker 3: and now she's taking local pictures.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Scary the way.
- 43:44Speaker 1: What about this Camilla Luddington that says it was my idea?
- 43:48Speaker 1: Did you also were manipulated by the way anyone can
- 43:53Speaker 1: make someone seem like it's their idea. We've all done it. Oh,
- 43:56Speaker 1: if I only knew where to have dinner, I would
- 43:59Speaker 1: love some pasta and also some bread and some endless breadsticks.
- 44:04Speaker 1: What about a great idea, But.
- 44:09Speaker 2: I was saying, I was really confused why they kept
- 44:12Speaker 2: showing that at the end that Jennifer that Elizabeth said
- 44:18Speaker 2: that she got the idea from for silent What was
- 44:23Speaker 2: the name of the episode.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Oh, silent from from the Kavanaugh trial. Yeah, from the
- 44:28Speaker 3: Cavanaugh but he hearings, Yeah, the rights the Senate hearings
- 44:31Speaker 3: with doctor Christine Ford.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Right, So it's like she's saying she got it from there,
- 44:35Speaker 2: not from Kylie or Riley. And then Camilla is like,
- 44:39Speaker 2: who played the character? Is like, oh, I I suggested this,
- 44:43Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, who is the liar here? You know, like,
- 44:45Speaker 2: are you a liar to what is happening?
- 44:47Speaker 1: Why? Why?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Why did they put that on there?
- 44:49Speaker 1: She Yeah, I thought that was a weird.
- 44:51Speaker 2: We didn't need that, We didn't need that, thank you.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Yeah. But I do think that that she's not a liar.
- 44:56Speaker 1: I think that that she was with someone very manipul
- 45:00Speaker 1: who manipulated her into coming up with that idea.
- 45:03Speaker 2: Oh, I think I too. I see what you're saying.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I think cover her ass.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think was about No.
- 45:14Speaker 2: No, I got what you were saying. I just didn't
- 45:16Speaker 2: put it into I understand now I'm gonna set I'm
- 45:18Speaker 2: in an eight minute delay. Brilliant. Thank you so much
- 45:23Speaker 2: for putting that together. That was I that was stuck
- 45:26Speaker 2: in my crow.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Yeah. So I think Finch had the idea and then
- 45:30Speaker 3: she to Jamie's olive garden theory exactly. She then sat
- 45:35Speaker 3: down with the actress and was like, man, Matt, can
- 45:40Speaker 3: you imagine this? And then I think in and then
- 45:44Speaker 3: cut too. Years later, when she's going down with Finch,
- 45:48Speaker 3: or prior to it going down or whatever, there's a
- 45:51Speaker 3: rumbling of this. She will probably manipulate the actress again
- 45:57Speaker 3: to be like, remember when we came up with that
- 45:59Speaker 3: idea after.
- 46:01Speaker 2: It was your doctor that inspired this. Yeah, you're so right. God,
- 46:06Speaker 2: I'm so glad you guys cracked that for me because
- 46:08Speaker 2: I was so confused.
- 46:09Speaker 1: That's why we do this.
- 46:11Speaker 2: That is why we did this. The work you guys.
- 46:13Speaker 2: When the staff even though they have her number by now,
- 46:16Speaker 2: which is so crazy because you know, they're talking shit
- 46:19Speaker 2: about her twenty four to seven and they're loving it.
- 46:22Speaker 2: But the fact that she's like, oh my god, like
- 46:24Speaker 2: I you know, I can't get back, you know, the
- 46:27Speaker 2: kids need me because it's COVID and like I and
- 46:30Speaker 2: now Jen is going away and all this stuff, so
- 46:33Speaker 2: I can't write my episode. Will you guys write my
- 46:35Speaker 2: episode for me? And then to find out the reality
- 46:38Speaker 2: of that that the staff writes her episode and she
- 46:40Speaker 2: gets all the fucking residual money.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, napping whole time.
- 46:45Speaker 2: She was naw him naps magoodagree ps.
- 46:50Speaker 3: Not just napping, but refusing to get vaccinated so that
- 46:54Speaker 3: poor fucking girl could not go back to school and
- 46:57Speaker 3: half the rest of school years.
- 46:59Speaker 2: That was so twist. And then she would go and
- 47:01Speaker 2: check into a hotel and right, what an asshole?
- 47:07Speaker 1: Asshole? And I don't think there's a redeemable quality there
- 47:11Speaker 1: when I'm not hearing about the tears and stuff. How
- 47:14Speaker 1: do you reform a sociopath? You know? How? How can
- 47:18Speaker 1: a doctor? How could anyone? It's like she is the
- 47:21Speaker 1: epitome of I'm sorry, I got caught.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Yes, yes, because the things that she isn't going back
- 47:31Speaker 3: on are things that weren't in writing, like the brother
- 47:35Speaker 3: abuse and the vampire diary. Thing like those are vague
- 47:40Speaker 3: and she can keep those balls in the air. But
- 47:42Speaker 3: like Jen could prove a timeline with the Pittsburgh the
- 47:48Speaker 3: synagogue and the bar Halloween contest and like other things
- 47:53Speaker 3: that like you can't there's no port scar, there's two kidneys,
- 47:57Speaker 3: like you can't refute those things.
- 48:00Speaker 1: Emily, I was a little confused about something. Perhaps you
- 48:02Speaker 1: could shine a light, uh when they discovered those pictures.
- 48:07Speaker 1: But also wasn't she in the writer's room and like,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I'm leaving right now? How come nobody else noticed those
- 48:12Speaker 1: pictures based on the fact that she went rushing right.
- 48:15Speaker 3: Over because remember she was telling people two different stories.
- 48:19Speaker 2: So right, yeah, she was posting. That's a great question.
- 48:22Speaker 3: How because I think the time the time, like people
- 48:26Speaker 3: were getting two different I think she would tell a
- 48:28Speaker 3: lie and heighten the lie for different people saw.
- 48:32Speaker 1: The picture Wednesday, Adams.
- 48:35Speaker 3: They were there, No, so she this was like the
- 48:38Speaker 3: day after the lot. Some of the writers were with her.
- 48:41Speaker 3: But what she had told at the costume party and
- 48:44Speaker 3: then the synagogue thing happened and then she flew out.
- 48:48Speaker 3: But I think she told Jen she was in Pittsburgh
- 48:53Speaker 3: when it happened.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Oh that's okay, Yeah, so when she went because that's
- 49:00Speaker 2: the gun Yes, that's why she couldn't hear gunshots.
- 49:05Speaker 3: That's because she was there when it happened. To Jen,
- 49:10Speaker 3: to the writers.
- 49:10Speaker 2: She left the next Okay, so it was two different stories.
- 49:16Speaker 2: I see. So she told that's why she told Jen
- 49:19Speaker 2: and why she was in the PTSD treatment facility because
- 49:22Speaker 2: she was actually at in the synagogue when it happened.
- 49:28Speaker 1: What about her giving the character name at the hospital.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Oh that was weird.
- 49:33Speaker 1: I thought that was another sign of some troubles falling down.
- 49:37Speaker 2: Oh jeez, I have another Wait, go ahead, Jamie, do
- 49:40Speaker 2: you have another question?
- 49:42Speaker 1: I do?
- 49:42Speaker 2: Okay, go ahead.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Is this the last will here from Elizabeth? God?
- 49:49Speaker 2: I hope not. Where is Elizabeth Finch?
- 49:54Speaker 3: Yes, she just got cast for Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Wait, how about that guy who went to the university
- 50:01Speaker 2: with her, and he's that writer. He's like in Hollywood,
- 50:04Speaker 2: you know, is rework your story?
- 50:09Speaker 1: You had a lot of copy that morning. Kelly thinks
- 50:11Speaker 1: Americans are absolute morons.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like, she can rework it. She can work
- 50:15Speaker 2: on you know, because she wants to work on The
- 50:17Speaker 2: Handmaid's Tale apparently or something like that, So she had
- 50:19Speaker 2: to try and go over there. Yeah, he's like, no problem,
- 50:23Speaker 2: she can jump right in.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Just recult right, or is she going to become under
- 50:27Speaker 1: a pseudonym and start producing books on Amazon.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Well, she could do that.
- 50:31Speaker 2: I mean, she's going to write a book. That's what
- 50:33Speaker 2: she's gonna do.
- 50:34Speaker 3: She's going to there will be something out there for her.
- 50:38Speaker 3: But like, this is where cancel culture is great, because
- 50:43Speaker 3: it's like we can't arrest her. Maybe, like you could
- 50:48Speaker 3: argue that there's like if you want to hire a lawyer,
- 50:50Speaker 3: and a lawyer could make an argument for like a
- 50:53Speaker 3: civil suit or something, maybe that's going to take a
- 50:56Speaker 3: shit ton of money in time and also might not
- 51:00Speaker 3: be fair punishment. Or you could just not hire her
- 51:04Speaker 3: for a job. And I think that's what's going to happen,
- 51:07Speaker 3: and the word is out. And also I wouldn't want
- 51:10Speaker 3: to fucking work with her, So I'm like, okay, cool.
- 51:14Speaker 2: How could anybody work with her?
- 51:16Speaker 1: Now? That's like that person I was telling you all
- 51:18Speaker 1: about who was lying when I was in college. I
- 51:20Speaker 1: didn't even want to be alone with that person. They
- 51:23Speaker 1: would be like, Jamie, can I talk to you? And
- 51:24Speaker 1: I'd be like not without a witness present, smart to
- 51:28Speaker 1: we kind of dated the same person anyway, It's a
- 51:30Speaker 1: whole nother whole thing. But I did not want to
- 51:33Speaker 1: be near that person without a lawyer present, because I
- 51:37Speaker 1: feel like she would have gone in the room and
- 51:39Speaker 1: been like, Jamie, slap my face, and people would have
- 51:41Speaker 1: been like, it's probably true, because again, you just tend
- 51:43Speaker 1: to believe when they say something has happened.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Remember when they had the doctor consultant come to the
- 51:49Speaker 3: writer's room and then she turned the room against him
- 51:52Speaker 3: because she said, that's the doctor that misdiagnosed my cancer.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 51:57Speaker 1: When they go that doctor probably went home. Why are
- 52:00Speaker 1: they mean to me?
- 52:01Speaker 2: That's terrible. Wait, here's what I wanted to ask you.
- 52:05Speaker 2: So on the Vampire Diaries, that's where she was accusing
- 52:08Speaker 2: the director of sexual harassment. Correct, and during the me
- 52:11Speaker 2: too movement she jumped out and so in that article
- 52:14Speaker 2: she accused the director, but did she name them? Like,
- 52:17Speaker 2: did she name the director in the art? So then
- 52:21Speaker 2: all right, So then.
- 52:22Speaker 3: It was an easy line to draw about who she
- 52:25Speaker 3: was speaking about. Because that's why the I think it
- 52:28Speaker 3: was a cost the script.
- 52:30Speaker 2: That woman who said that she texted her and then
- 52:33Speaker 2: yeah and then just like who dis Yeah.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Basically the text was like you've ruined everything and you've
- 52:41Speaker 1: broken my heart.
- 52:45Speaker 2: It was so funny and I like you. She laughed
- 52:48Speaker 2: at that too. Oh my god. But so that that
- 52:54Speaker 2: person that called her out was like basically saying, I
- 52:57Speaker 2: know this isn't true. So how did she get away
- 53:02Speaker 2: with even that allegation? I know the Hollywood Reporter redacted
- 53:05Speaker 2: that and took that out of the list from twenty
- 53:07Speaker 2: twenty two we know that, or from the Vanity Fair
- 53:10Speaker 2: article wherever that was. I think it was Vanity Fair.
- 53:14Speaker 3: So oh, how what do you mean? Like? How did
- 53:19Speaker 3: they print it?
- 53:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 53:20Speaker 2: How do they put print on paper? No, I'm kidding.
- 53:25Speaker 2: How how did I guess? What I'm trying to say
- 53:28Speaker 2: is like, how did she get away with accusing this
- 53:33Speaker 2: person even though she didn't name them and then didn't
- 53:36Speaker 2: get sued even though they.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Were because there's deniability. Okay, Again, this person could have
- 53:46Speaker 3: said this is me. It's very clear that it's me. Right,
- 53:51Speaker 3: I didn't do it. I'm outing myself and I'm suing her.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Because that's what the whole Amber Johnny Depp and Amberson
- 54:00Speaker 2: situation was because she didn't name his name in that article,
- 54:04Speaker 2: but he sued her because of that. But actually I
- 54:06Speaker 2: think that he lost.
- 54:08Speaker 3: He lost in the UK and then he won in
- 54:11Speaker 3: the US.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Okay, but Amy, I'm saying that the director she was
- 54:15Speaker 1: talking about was just as fabricated as the two doctors
- 54:18Speaker 1: from Male Clinic, So there was no one to step
- 54:21Speaker 1: forward and say unless they too were a liar. Like
- 54:24Speaker 1: if there was a guy who directed one episode and
- 54:26Speaker 1: he's like, I'm going to totally cash in on this
- 54:28Speaker 1: and be like, it's clear she's talking about me. But
- 54:30Speaker 1: I literally think she made up that whole story based
- 54:33Speaker 1: off of no one, so there's no one to suit.
- 54:36Speaker 2: But that woman said, no, no, I know who you're
- 54:38Speaker 2: talking about. You need to like because.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Remember when they got the article came out, people from
- 54:43Speaker 3: the Vampire Diaries, including the woman that was on camera,
- 54:47Speaker 3: they knew exactly who she was talking about because apparently
- 54:50Speaker 3: that person was not just a visiting director. That's why
- 54:54Speaker 3: I think it was like more of like a show
- 54:56Speaker 3: runner kind of thing, but had the title of director.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I thought it was just a made up story. Well
- 55:02Speaker 1: I it was.
- 55:03Speaker 2: It is, But you're right, it is.
- 55:06Speaker 1: A made up person. You're saying it was a made
- 55:08Speaker 1: up sorry on a real person.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, that's the vibe that the documentary gave me.
- 55:13Speaker 3: It was that you know, this person was real and
- 55:16Speaker 3: people knew who she was talking about that worked there,
- 55:19Speaker 3: and and.
- 55:20Speaker 1: He should have stud good idea.
- 55:23Speaker 3: I mean, but like like that's that's where it gets
- 55:26Speaker 3: like hard with all the allegations, right, so hard and
- 55:31Speaker 3: expensive to actually sue somebody, but you almost have to
- 55:36Speaker 3: do it and bankrupt yourself to defend yourself if you
- 55:41Speaker 3: are in the right, you kind of have to. But yeah,
- 55:45Speaker 3: it sucks.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Well, I know we need to wrap up, so.
- 55:53Speaker 1: A lie about something and really.
- 55:56Speaker 2: To truth and a lie.
- 55:58Speaker 1: No, just one lie. I'm going this start.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 56:03Speaker 1: My my childhood was fraught with clumsiness. And I was
- 56:12Speaker 1: riding my bicycle when I was thirteen and I crashed
- 56:15Speaker 1: and my pinky toe was decimated and I have only
- 56:19Speaker 1: nine toes now.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Wow, wow.
- 56:24Speaker 1: Journey.
- 56:25Speaker 2: When I was seven, I dressed as a Miss pac
- 56:28Speaker 2: Man for Halloween and we were roasting marshmallows for some
- 56:33Speaker 2: reason that night, and I didn't get in the fire.
- 56:38Speaker 2: I did, I wasn't set on fire, but for some reason,
- 56:41Speaker 2: my Miss pac Man costume melted into my body. And
- 56:44Speaker 2: so my makeup is covering up the yellow and the
- 56:49Speaker 2: pink bow on my head. Oh my god, I have
- 56:52Speaker 2: to do it every day. Underneath I'm miss pac Man.
- 56:55Speaker 1: What's what's the kind of makeup you use?
- 56:57Speaker 2: It? It's a saint and I can color it.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Okay, Emily, Emily, do you have something you want to
- 57:04Speaker 1: share from more?
- 57:05Speaker 3: I'm going to just do a little something different because
- 57:07Speaker 3: these are like because like, I'm not going to tell
- 57:09Speaker 3: a lie. I'm going to tell something so crazy that
- 57:12Speaker 3: you're going to think it's a lie. And that is that.
- 57:15Speaker 3: When I was in third grade, I got called in
- 57:19Speaker 3: to be a part. Do you remember like when Krista
- 57:21Speaker 3: mcculiffe was going to the it was the Challenger and
- 57:25Speaker 3: I got to go meet her and we went to
- 57:27Speaker 3: the launch pad and we did like space camp. It
- 57:31Speaker 3: was crazy, and then they were going to have students
- 57:33Speaker 3: go up and they and so I was in the
- 57:36Speaker 3: running and there was like five hundred kids and I
- 57:38Speaker 3: got in the top ten and I was going to
- 57:40Speaker 3: do that.
- 57:42Speaker 1: This is so yeah, that was really good. You were like,
- 57:48Speaker 1: I'm actually gonna tell I'm going to go a different way.
- 57:51Speaker 1: That was really good deflection because I literally was like,
- 57:54Speaker 1: maybe she was there.
- 57:56Speaker 4: Now I didn't make that. That was so buddy told.
- 58:01Speaker 4: That was the life of a kid that I grew
- 58:03Speaker 4: up with and we were all like, you're going to
- 58:06Speaker 4: go up and then and then the Challenger, as we know,
- 58:10Speaker 4: did not do so hot.
- 58:11Speaker 3: And then yeah, wow so hot. That actually did very hot.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I did that episode silent all these years that
- 58:22Speaker 2: she wrote. When she was like, I requested a private
- 58:27Speaker 2: writing room for that, I was like, oh, fuck yourself.
- 58:29Speaker 2: You know, uh what about that hallway?
- 58:35Speaker 1: She said, that's what I want to know, and that
- 58:37Speaker 1: other writers there going this is my story.
- 58:41Speaker 2: Now did she did she make up putting all those
- 58:45Speaker 2: staff members?
- 58:46Speaker 4: Like?
- 58:46Speaker 2: Did she make up putting the women? The wall of women?
- 58:49Speaker 1: Did?
- 58:49Speaker 2: Did she make that up? Was that part of her writing?
- 58:52Speaker 1: It was good?
- 58:53Speaker 2: Okay because that was remember whose idea was?
- 58:56Speaker 3: Okay because that was that was a director's choice.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Okay, Well I was sweet.
- 59:00Speaker 1: It was brilliant, brilliant. It was really good, very good idea.
- 59:05Speaker 3: That's a good picture.
- 59:06Speaker 1: There's that theater girl who wanted to be on TV so.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Man, and she was really bad. She was a bad actor.
- 59:12Speaker 2: If you could tell. She was like walking down the
- 59:14Speaker 2: hall and I'm like, you suck stick to writing, bitch,
- 59:19Speaker 2: stick to making up lies. Not believable. Oh my god.
- 59:27Speaker 2: The other thing is I'll leave it. I'm at we
- 59:29Speaker 2: got finched is what the writers. Writers came up with.
- 59:32Speaker 2: They're like, we got finished to get finished. It's like, yeah,
- 59:34Speaker 2: you know that the bits going back and forth, that's
- 59:36Speaker 2: just the tip of the iceberg as far as what
- 59:38Speaker 2: they were doing behind her back, and they had her number.
- 59:43Speaker 2: All right, Well, any last thoughts before we uh say
- 59:45Speaker 2: bye bye. That was fine, good talk, Yeah, good job
- 59:50Speaker 2: you guys.
- 59:51Speaker 1: I would like I would like to see her interviewed
- 59:54Speaker 1: or something, but again, it's just sometimes people like that,
- 59:57Speaker 1: they'll never change. It's like there's no point to even
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: see her interviewed. But I'll tell you what again, don't
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: fall in love everybody. That was that was her. She
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: she let someone in and it really burned her bottom.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that'll do it. Thank you, Emily Theresas, Thank you
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Jamie Moyer. Everybody knows that they are the darlings of
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: the of this episode and I love you both so
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: thank you for joining.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: That's a lie.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Drama had drama, Happy New Year.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Drama. Darling
