- 0:09Speaker 1: Vice.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Sure, it's time no and no, and no and no
- 0:15Speaker 2: and low and low. Welcome to the Naughty Venicia. I'm
- 0:18Speaker 2: your house drum shooter. And it's Thursday, which means our
- 0:21Speaker 2: dear friend Mark Looper joins us. Hey, LUPI are you there?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Makes me so happy? Hello, Darling. I love Thursdays. I
- 0:31Speaker 2: love being with you on Thursdays. I love being with
- 0:33Speaker 2: the Naughties on Thursdays. I also like Thursdays really sort
- 0:36Speaker 2: of means for me the end of the week. It's here,
- 0:39Speaker 2: not quite, but it's here. I could go out drinking tonight,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and I could fake my way through a day of
- 0:45Speaker 2: work tomorrow. I can only do one day faking now.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And so Thursday night, it's a really great night. It's
- 0:50Speaker 2: a really great day. I hope you're feeling all the vibes, Naughties.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:55Speaker 2: It airs tea time. A big story at the top
- 0:58Speaker 2: of the show, So Harry, Prince Harry has been exposed
- 1:01Speaker 2: for flirty text. Now, before we go too crazy, Mark,
- 1:05Speaker 2: you and I have said much more racy things on
- 1:07Speaker 2: a Monday morning. Right, Let's be clear. This is not
- 1:10Speaker 2: a big expose if you're looking for dirty, kinky, exciting
- 1:16Speaker 2: proposals here, you're not going to find it. In fact,
- 1:18Speaker 2: the most spaghettis he calls her sugar. Yes, I know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: come on, sugar, and then he also talks that he
- 1:25Speaker 2: misses their movie Snuggles, so it's not quite as exploited.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's actually sort of quite adorable. These people are pointing
- 1:33Speaker 2: out that Harry did not know this was a journalist
- 1:38Speaker 2: when he was texting her way back in I think
- 1:41Speaker 2: it was two thousand and eleven. They were in the
- 1:44Speaker 2: same social circles. He met her at one of those
- 1:48Speaker 2: very private clubs in London, which are all the rage.
- 1:50Speaker 2: They're starting to happen here in America too. These are
- 1:53Speaker 2: clubs where you have to pay a membership. You're not
- 1:55Speaker 2: a lad in. You have to pay a membership, and
- 1:57Speaker 2: then once you get the membership, you still have to pay.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I thought it was for that amount of money. I
- 2:03Speaker 2: was like, no, no, you still have a taste the membership.
- 2:06Speaker 2: We're talking tens of thousands of dollar's parents. It's not cheap.
- 2:10Speaker 2: It's not two hundred quid here. It is a lot
- 2:12Speaker 2: of money. So it's a very fancy place. So I
- 2:13Speaker 2: get that if I was Harry and I went to
- 2:15Speaker 2: a really elite private club, you would think you were
- 2:18Speaker 2: going to mix with people in there who maybe were
- 2:21Speaker 2: not royals but were fancy you were safe in them.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You're never ever safe. I've been doing this a really
- 2:27Speaker 2: long time, and even people at what we would call
- 2:31Speaker 2: the elites, the top of society, loved to gossip, and
- 2:34Speaker 2: so there's always a source everywhere. What made this particularly
- 2:37Speaker 2: alarming is she wasn't a source. She was a journalist.
- 2:41Speaker 2: She worked for the Daily Mail. It's coming out because
- 2:45Speaker 2: Harry is suing The Mail in Britain and they're like, well, Harry,
- 2:49Speaker 2: you might say you don't like reporters at newspapers, but
- 2:52Speaker 2: here you are sending our reporter some kind of racy.
- 2:56Speaker 2: They're not that racy, but you're sending them texts. Now,
- 2:59Speaker 2: some people are trying to imply that this proves that
- 3:02Speaker 2: Harry had a very cozy relationship with the tabloids.
- 3:06Speaker 1: With the press.
- 3:07Speaker 2: We know Meghan dig Meghan was friends with Miss d
- 3:10Speaker 2: with Delana when when she was up and coming, and
- 3:12Speaker 2: so often people in power, often celebrities, they do know journalists.
- 3:18Speaker 2: There are at least four or five celebrities that I
- 3:20Speaker 2: could name right now, I won't who've got me on
- 3:22Speaker 2: speed dial? They're all housewives. I mean, it's not that exciting,
- 3:26Speaker 2: and they're not that exciting, but do you know what
- 3:27Speaker 2: I mean? Like it's part of the sort of system
- 3:31Speaker 2: of celebrity mark you have it too. We have people
- 3:33Speaker 2: who sort of know us and sort of famous. People
- 3:36Speaker 2: like to know reporters, they like to know bookers, they
- 3:39Speaker 2: like to know journalists. The difference here is Harry is
- 3:42Speaker 2: not just the famous person. He's a prince. He's a
- 3:46Speaker 2: royal member of the royal family. Now, his mom had
- 3:48Speaker 2: a very complicated relationship with journalists. She did call journalists,
- 3:53Speaker 2: She did talk to journalists. That big book that Andrew
- 3:56Speaker 2: Morton wrote about Diana, we now know Diana was the source.
- 3:59Speaker 2: It was her book. And so because of his mom,
- 4:03Speaker 2: because of the way the palace works, because of the
- 4:05Speaker 2: way the system works, a lot of people are like, oh, Harry,
- 4:08Speaker 2: you've always spoken to journalists. These people are fighting back
- 4:11Speaker 2: today saying yes, these texts are real. He really did
- 4:15Speaker 2: like her. They met in a private club. The minute
- 4:19Speaker 2: he found out she was a reporter, he dumped her.
- 4:22Speaker 2: He stopped talking to her, he pulled up the drawbridge,
- 4:26Speaker 2: so to speak, and it was over. What do you
- 4:28Speaker 2: think here, Mark? Do you think that he had no
- 4:31Speaker 2: idea this is a reporter? Was this just an accident,
- 4:35Speaker 2: a coincidence, or do you think that Harry is more
- 4:38Speaker 2: in bed with reporters than he likes to let on.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I think his whole family, including him, are obsessed with
- 4:44Speaker 1: the press. They're obsessed with controlling the media and getting
- 4:47Speaker 1: their point across. I will say, if Harry didn't bother
- 4:49Speaker 1: to ask what her profession was after I guess many
- 4:53Speaker 1: days that led to movies, snuggles and calling her sugar.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Then I questioned his judgment. I mean, if you're working
- 5:01Speaker 1: for Darling now, they have the best stories. They always
- 5:03Speaker 1: have the great scoops, sir, Come on.
- 5:06Speaker 2: They have the best. In his defense, here Mark, you
- 5:09Speaker 2: and me, if we met in a bar, within ten minutes,
- 5:12Speaker 2: we'd know what each other did for a living. It's
- 5:14Speaker 2: it's where a conversation would go. Harry doesn't ask people
- 5:18Speaker 2: what they do for a living because he doesn't do
- 5:20Speaker 2: anything for a living, so it's not a priority for him.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Like I'm not being good, but that just isn't on
- 5:24Speaker 2: his mind. He doesn't think we have jobs because he
- 5:27Speaker 2: doesn't like it would be really alien to Harry to
- 5:30Speaker 2: ever think, like, my goodness, you get up in the
- 5:32Speaker 2: morning and you have to go to an office like
- 5:35Speaker 2: that would just his mind would blow. And so we're
- 5:37Speaker 2: all such narcissists. And when we meet people, anybody, not
- 5:41Speaker 2: just romantically but friends, it's always from our eyes, isn't it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: And so I think the success in life is trying
- 5:47Speaker 2: to walk in other people's shoes, and Harry does not
- 5:49Speaker 2: do that very often. He walks into his shoes, which
- 5:52Speaker 2: are shoes of a prince, and he can't understand why
- 5:54Speaker 2: the rest of us can't keep up despite all his advantages.
- 5:57Speaker 2: It's a very very interesting story here, because you are right,
- 6:01Speaker 2: King Charles is rumored to have had special relationships with
- 6:05Speaker 2: the press. These royals do leak. We now know Fergie
- 6:09Speaker 2: and Andrew, that disgrace. Fergie and Andrew. They had people
- 6:13Speaker 2: that they spoke to in the press. It's just part
- 6:16Speaker 2: of this system. When I first started in publicity in media,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I had no idea this happened. And then I was like, oh,
- 6:24Speaker 2: my goodness, the source is the celebrity. Like when you
- 6:27Speaker 2: read these stories, if it says sources close to X
- 6:31Speaker 2: often that source is X. You're allowed to do that.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So if I say source is very close to Mark Lupo,
- 6:40Speaker 2: it's Mark Marx the source. I'm telling the truth about Mark.
- 6:44Speaker 2: And this is how this works. Yes, it's how it works.
- 6:47Speaker 2: It's their publicist or you know someone in very very close.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So what do you think? It brings us to our
- 6:51Speaker 2: pole question of the day. Harry's flirty texts have surfaced
- 6:55Speaker 2: as part of his legal battle in London. However, these
- 6:58Speaker 2: texts not so race. See they're off little flirty, but
- 7:01Speaker 2: they're not X rated. He didn't send you know what pictures.
- 7:05Speaker 2: None of that was going on here. What do you
- 7:07Speaker 2: think did Harry know? He's claiming he had no idea
- 7:10Speaker 2: this was a reporter and when he found out he
- 7:12Speaker 2: ended the relationship. Or do you think he knew? What
- 7:16Speaker 2: do you think? Take a vote on our Twitter page.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I had naughty nice rob our Facebook page naughty ya zip.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I'm be sure to check out tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Loopy,
- 7:28Speaker 2: what are you working on?
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yes, some tough news today. So we're learning about Amberrell's
- 7:34Speaker 1: final moments of life. So new police photos from Amberrell's
- 7:38Speaker 1: death show a bathroom scattered with pills, overturned medicine bottles
- 7:42Speaker 1: and cigarette buds, which painted deeply troubling picture of her
- 7:46Speaker 1: final moments. Now authorities are saying she was found unconscious
- 7:49Speaker 1: beside dozens of pills in her Brooklyn home, and the
- 7:52Speaker 1: medical examiner later ruled her jet the suicide caused by
- 7:55Speaker 1: a mix of substances, including into histamines, alcohol, and amphetamines.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So sad when she passed. We were one of the
- 8:03Speaker 2: first outlets to report that this was a suicide. It
- 8:06Speaker 2: went unreported for quite a while. I knew Anne a
- 8:09Speaker 2: little bit. Friends of mine work in the food world,
- 8:12Speaker 2: and so I know these celebrity chefs. I was on
- 8:14Speaker 2: Rachel Ray Show as a regular as a regular guest
- 8:17Speaker 2: on that show, I think I did it once a
- 8:18Speaker 2: month for like two or three years. That's how I
- 8:20Speaker 2: got the gossip table, because the producer of Rachel went
- 8:23Speaker 2: on to work for VH one, and so I've known Anne.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I really liked her, clearly troubled, clearly had her demons.
- 8:31Speaker 2: There was times when she was in a green room
- 8:33Speaker 2: or backstage and she wasn't that big smile that we've
- 8:37Speaker 2: all grown I think to love and know of Anne.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It's interesting. Just don't ever ever assume you know everything
- 8:44Speaker 2: about somebody just because they look really happy. You don't know.
- 8:48Speaker 2: You just don't know what is going on. I find
- 8:51Speaker 2: this heartbreaking. And we miss you, we miss you, we
- 8:54Speaker 2: miss you. Okay, moving along, Tiger Woods is saying he's
- 8:58Speaker 2: going to seek treatment. So there's a little so. Tiger
- 9:01Speaker 2: hasn't said the word rehabits a very carefully worded statement
- 9:05Speaker 2: where he uses the word treatment. This is the fourth
- 9:07Speaker 2: time he's been in a dui that we know about,
- 9:10Speaker 2: and they found pills on him. Now, what I find
- 9:13Speaker 2: so interesting is he's leaving the country. He had to
- 9:16Speaker 2: get special permission from a judge to leave the country.
- 9:19Speaker 2: He's saying, I'm far too famous to get any treatment
- 9:22Speaker 2: in America, or it's going to be impossible. I'm told
- 9:26Speaker 2: he's going to a what my friends are calling a
- 9:29Speaker 2: spa in Geneva, and so it's not quite the treatment
- 9:34Speaker 2: that I think we would hope he would get. It's
- 9:37Speaker 2: really difficult here because we all want Tiger to get well.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Tiger needs to get well, but he needs real treatment.
- 9:44Speaker 2: This can't be celebrity treatment. This can't be a spa.
- 9:48Speaker 2: This has to be really, really intense, really professional treatment,
- 9:54Speaker 2: which I just don't know if he's ready to admit
- 9:57Speaker 2: that he needs it, and so it's complicated. We can
- 10:01Speaker 2: want for our friends, for people we like, for people
- 10:04Speaker 2: we know till the cows come home, Mark, but if
- 10:06Speaker 2: they don't want to do it, they're not going to
- 10:09Speaker 2: do it. He's got to do this himself, unless, of course,
- 10:13Speaker 2: the court ordered it. I think the court here would
- 10:16Speaker 2: be doing Tiger a favor if they stopped treating him
- 10:18Speaker 2: like a celebrity. And after the fourth dure, you and
- 10:21Speaker 2: I Mark would be in jail. He's not, and so
- 10:24Speaker 2: I think they're they're not helping him here. I think
- 10:27Speaker 2: it should be a court ordered rehab program, and I
- 10:31Speaker 2: think it would set him straight or at least help
- 10:34Speaker 2: when he's willing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars
- 10:37Speaker 2: to flight a Geneva on a private plane to do
- 10:40Speaker 2: some experimental treatment. I just don't see this working. What
- 10:44Speaker 2: do you think?
- 10:45Speaker 1: I don't either, And I think you know the bigger
- 10:47Speaker 1: question is for me, why are you allowing those man
- 10:50Speaker 1: to keep driving? You've had four actions, and you've risked
- 10:54Speaker 1: the lives of other people on their road and you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: being treated like a celebrity. Is putting you in a
- 10:59Speaker 1: worse ship, because if you do kill someone, you're gonna
- 11:01Speaker 1: be in jail for the rest of.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Your life, for the rest of your life. I was
- 11:04Speaker 2: talking to more people Nancy Grace, she loves the podcast.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I do love her all. She said something very interesting,
- 11:12Speaker 2: which is like celebrities, if they have all this money
- 11:15Speaker 2: and all this time and they want to stay home
- 11:17Speaker 2: and do drugs and pass out, do it. It's when
- 11:19Speaker 2: you get behind the wheel of a car. It's when
- 11:22Speaker 2: you put other people's lives at risk that it's really outrageous.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's arrogant. If you want to mess up your life,
- 11:30Speaker 2: if you want to do drugs and you want to
- 11:32Speaker 2: pass out and potentially worse. We saw it with Matthew Perry.
- 11:36Speaker 2: You can do it in the privacy of your own home.
- 11:39Speaker 2: You're rich enough, lock the doors, stay home, do what
- 11:42Speaker 2: you want. But it's when you start endangering other people.
- 11:46Speaker 2: God forbid someone had been on that street. God forbid
- 11:50Speaker 2: the other driver had not made it. It's just it's
- 11:53Speaker 2: so dangerous. People don't realize that when they get behind
- 11:57Speaker 2: the wheel, it's like holding a gun in your hands.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It's really really dangerous for so many people out there,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and the and the arrogance and the and the fact
- 12:06Speaker 2: that keeps being allowed to do this. It's shocking for me,
- 12:10Speaker 2: It's absolutely shocking. Okay, I never thought I'd ever hear
- 12:13Speaker 2: myself say this on The Naughty but Nice Show. But
- 12:16Speaker 2: I agree with Bethany Frankel. What does she have to
- 12:19Speaker 2: say any.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Frank is winging as she does in the drama surrounding it,
- 12:26Speaker 1: Mannapa Tour and Wester Wilson, and she's not taking sides.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So Franko said the backlash has overblown, pointing out the
- 12:33Speaker 1: obvious they're quote grown as. She also questioned how real
- 12:40Speaker 1: the friendships are and TV suggesting the drama is fueled
- 12:43Speaker 1: by producers and networks chasing readings. She's not wrong, She's
- 12:48Speaker 1: not wrong, and she I mean, of lot of people
- 12:50Speaker 1: has been through this many times.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It's a reality show, isn't it. So I'm not going
- 12:55Speaker 2: to get into the internet here. There's a huge drama.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I think on Summer House it's a brother show. Amanda Bhootala,
- 13:02Speaker 2: who I've never heard of, and West Wilson, who I've
- 13:05Speaker 2: never heard of, have apparently hooked up and everybody shocked
- 13:08Speaker 2: about it. This is a house I think in the
- 13:10Speaker 2: Hampton's where they all get together, they're all gorgeous, they're
- 13:13Speaker 2: all half naked, they all hook up, and then we're
- 13:16Speaker 2: meant to be outraged that somebody cheated with somebody else.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's reality TV. I love it. I love how much
- 13:23Speaker 2: drama it is. Bravo does this. They did it with
- 13:26Speaker 2: Vander Pomperu's member scandalval we had that. Now the Summer
- 13:30Speaker 2: House is the show. It's just I mean, I tipped
- 13:33Speaker 2: my hat to Bravo here because they just create this
- 13:36Speaker 2: drama and I guess keeps viewers interested. I'm a little
- 13:41Speaker 2: little at the end of my rope of reality TV,
- 13:44Speaker 2: and just there was a time mark where you and
- 13:46Speaker 2: me could talk about Jill Sarn and Alex and Simon
- 13:49Speaker 2: and Teresa and I'd know exactly who you meant. Now
- 13:53Speaker 2: if you mentioned Uber and I just would be like, who,
- 13:56Speaker 2: I don't I don't know who?
- 13:59Speaker 1: Who?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Bethany, you do make me chuckle here. For somebody that
- 14:02Speaker 2: wanted to step away from reality TV, you still spend
- 14:05Speaker 2: a lot of time watching it, focusing on it, comments
- 14:09Speaker 2: in on it. Okay, quickly before we get a break.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Kim Kardashian has a big legal loss here. So this
- 14:13Speaker 2: sex tape that she made with ray Ja years and
- 14:16Speaker 2: years and years ago is back in the headlines. Not
- 14:18Speaker 2: because of the tape, but because there was an agreement,
- 14:22Speaker 2: a settlement in twenty twenty three. That's not that long ago.
- 14:27Speaker 2: And allegedly Rayj was paid six million dollars to keep
- 14:30Speaker 2: his mouth shut, and they were going to keep their
- 14:33Speaker 2: mouth shuts too. They spoke about the tape many times
- 14:36Speaker 2: on the reality show, and Rayja sued them, said, we
- 14:38Speaker 2: had an agreement. If I can't talk about it, if
- 14:41Speaker 2: I can't give the details of it, you can't either.
- 14:44Speaker 2: And so I think the Kardashians have got themselves in
- 14:46Speaker 2: trouble here because Rayja insists that they all knew this
- 14:49Speaker 2: sex tape was going to be released. He said, we
- 14:51Speaker 2: cut a deal. I was in a room. We sat there.
- 14:53Speaker 2: We made a lot of money from this tape. Kim
- 14:56Speaker 2: was in on it. The Kardashians are like, oh no, no, no, no,
- 14:58Speaker 2: that did not happen. We had no idea it was
- 15:02Speaker 2: being released. Shut up, rage a, and we'll give you
- 15:05Speaker 2: six million dollars to shut up. He took the body
- 15:09Speaker 2: and he did shut up. They didn't. They started to
- 15:13Speaker 2: really develop this narrative of Kim as a victim, and
- 15:18Speaker 2: Ray j A said, I have children. That makes me
- 15:21Speaker 2: look really bad. It makes me look like I engage
- 15:24Speaker 2: in revenge porn or maybe even worse. So he's not
- 15:28Speaker 2: having it. They're not having it. A judge is now
- 15:31Speaker 2: saying that all of this is going to come out.
- 15:35Speaker 2: We all know what happened here. We all know. Okay,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I can't say anymore. We're going to take a quick
- 15:40Speaker 2: break and we'll be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:44Speaker 2: naughty but nice I'm hope sure do with that different
- 15:47Speaker 2: machalopo HELUPI. Let's get to the polls. Last Shay, we
- 15:51Speaker 2: talked about Tiger Wood's been filmed with prescription pills in
- 15:54Speaker 2: his pocket painkillers at the time of the crash. Should
- 15:56Speaker 2: he go to jail? Let's have a look. Seven percent
- 15:59Speaker 2: said yes he should. You and I you, Mark, We
- 16:02Speaker 2: would be locked up right now. We'd be doing this
- 16:05Speaker 2: podcast right from the jail cell. Your brother Jonathan would
- 16:08Speaker 2: be there, your mom Doris would be crying. I'd be
- 16:11Speaker 2: standing that side with entertainment tonight. It'd be a fabulous
- 16:16Speaker 2: terrible moment. I'm making fun of this because it's so serious.
- 16:19Speaker 2: It's just so serious. He should be in jail. Hey,
- 16:22Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's Paul. Go to Twitter
- 16:25Speaker 2: page add Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is Naughty
- 16:28Speaker 2: Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow Friday for
- 16:32Speaker 2: your Poul results. And now it's time for the nicest
- 16:37Speaker 2: of the day.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Ah, it's our favorite Robbers. Taylor Swift. Sailor Swift had
- 16:44Speaker 1: just paid tribute to Elizabeth Taylor, and everyone, including her family,
- 16:48Speaker 1: is happy about it. Now. Her new music video uses
- 16:51Speaker 1: archival footage of the late icon celeb reading her life,
- 16:55Speaker 1: her films, and her legendary style, and the reaction is
- 16:58Speaker 1: totally positive. Taylor State says they're deeply moved and delighted,
- 17:02Speaker 1: praising the video for respecting her legacy and getting it right.
- 17:08Speaker 2: She's so cool, she's such a sense of history. She
- 17:11Speaker 2: knows what she's doing. And the song is great. And
- 17:14Speaker 2: I see the day now, I know she's thet naughty naughty,
- 17:16Speaker 2: I know it is the Day's Prince Harry. There's a
- 17:17Speaker 2: new book out claiming that Queen Elizabeth was so upset
- 17:20Speaker 2: with Harry she didn't trust him that she would not
- 17:23Speaker 2: take his calls unless somebody else was in the room
- 17:25Speaker 2: out So after Harry and Meghan went public with interviews
- 17:29Speaker 2: book Deals, the Queen really was upset about this, and
- 17:33Speaker 2: she just didn't trust him any more. And so whenever
- 17:36Speaker 2: he called, even if it was just a short call,
- 17:39Speaker 2: there was always somebody else around. When you have to
- 17:42Speaker 2: get into that position, whether it be with a friend
- 17:44Speaker 2: or a family member, it's really rough. It's really rough.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I think that's the hardest thing. Mark. You can be
- 17:50Speaker 2: mean to me, you can upset me, you can have
- 17:51Speaker 2: a bad day, but once I don't trust you anymore,
- 17:54Speaker 2: I think it's over. I think I don't know how
- 17:57Speaker 2: you bounced back from that. And I clearly she was
- 18:00Speaker 2: his great grandmother, that's right, his great grandmother, and so
- 18:05Speaker 2: there was a lot of affection there. But even with
- 18:07Speaker 2: bad amount of affection, once trust is gone, it's really hard. Okay,
- 18:12Speaker 2: let's end with a moment of rob You're gonna you're
- 18:14Speaker 2: gonn rub your rub, stop rewarding aggression. You do not
- 18:18Speaker 2: have to decode someone else's aggressive behavior towards you. You
- 18:22Speaker 2: don't need to analyze it. You don't need to justify it,
- 18:25Speaker 2: and you don't need to make sense of it. Not
- 18:28Speaker 2: everything deserves your understanding, especially but it costs you your peace.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So stay, step back, stay steady, and let silence do
- 18:38Speaker 2: the work. Protect your energy like it matters, because it does.
- 18:42Speaker 2: This is so important. Mark. A few people have come
- 18:45Speaker 2: at me lately, and I truly believe it's because my
- 18:48Speaker 2: book is doing so well. After I announced with the
- 18:50Speaker 2: number one on the best seller list on Amazon of
- 18:53Speaker 2: new releases, it was amazing. Five people bit me that day,
- 18:56Speaker 2: one of which really hurt, and I decided I had
- 18:59Speaker 2: to stop rewarding aggression. I was going to fight back.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I was going to analyze it, I was going to
- 19:04Speaker 2: think about it. I was going to try and understand it.
- 19:07Speaker 2: And you know what I did. I decided to just
- 19:09Speaker 2: walk away. I've not thought about it. It's not bothered me.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I'm not angry with it. I'll remember who did it.
- 19:17Speaker 2: But it is so interesting in life. If somebody comes
- 19:20Speaker 2: at you, if somebody is aggressive towards you, if you're
- 19:23Speaker 2: an aggressive bag, you are rewarding that behavior. That's what
- 19:27Speaker 2: they want. Keep going, even when others are trying to
- 19:30Speaker 2: pull you into their chaos. You are not responsible for
- 19:34Speaker 2: fixing the storm now, and I refuse to stand in
- 19:37Speaker 2: the rain with them. How are you Mark at just
- 19:40Speaker 2: brushing it off, just like clicking your fingers and moving forward.
- 19:45Speaker 1: I find a lot of satisfaction and letting people hang
- 19:47Speaker 1: to dry when I do bad things to you. If
- 19:50Speaker 1: you don't react, the power is now with you, and
- 19:52Speaker 1: that makes me so satisfying.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Vita learning. It's a hard thing to learn when people
- 19:57Speaker 2: pop off on me on Twitter and social media. On substack,
- 20:02Speaker 2: it's so easy to fight back. Ignore it, just absolutely
- 20:07Speaker 2: ignore it. Hey, that is it full today? Thank you
